Mdina Gate is an elegant 1700s gate that leads to a citadel featuring medieval and baroque architecture. Located in Mdina, Malta, this historic site was once the stronghold of the island's medieval, Arab-influenced nobility. The city, which means 'city' in Arabic, boasts a 3000-year history and sits atop a hill with commanding views across the island.
It's an absolutely gorgeous place, one of the best I've ever visited. When we arrived, there were very few people there, and the architecture was simply magnificent. It was a pleasure to walk through the quiet, car-free streets. Time seemed to stand still here, making me want to keep walking and absorbing everything. I highly recommend it.
Vlad N — Google review
Mdina Gate and the entire old town were absolutely stunning to visit. Walking through the gate felt like stepping back in time, every corner has such beautiful detail and atmosphere. As a photographer and videographer, it was an amazing place to capture, especially around the cathedral where the light and architecture were perfect. What made it even more special was seeing a group of people come out to sing outside the cathedral, it added such a powerful, emotional moment to the visit. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Malta for both photos and videos. A must-see for anyone visiting the island.
Tom R — Google review
Mdina, also called The Silent City, completely captured my heart. It honestly feels like time stopped here hundreds of years ago — walking through the quiet, narrow streets is like stepping into another era. The atmosphere is peaceful and full of charm, and there are plenty of lovely little restaurants for every taste. The only two small downsides were that we couldn’t find any public toilets inside the city (we eventually found some in the park just outside), and parking was a bit of a nightmare — though that seems to be the case in many places on the island. Still, Mdina is absolutely magical and definitely worth a visit.
Jimmy S — Google review
PLEASE if you come to Malta do not miss this place out it’s absolutely amazing to walk through. M’dina is a perfectly preserved medieval fort, lots of shops for gifts and food. There are a few museums and the view from the walls are amazing. Again this is another must do activity and place to visit well worth the trip. P.s Games of thrones was shot here more specifically Kings landing scenes.
DrowzOnly — Google review
Mdina is a charming historic town with beautiful narrow streets, lots of souvenir shops, and impressive churches. From certain spots, you can also enjoy a stunning view over the city and surrounding areas. It’s a peaceful place to walk around and soak in the medieval atmosphere.
Jihee L — Google review
Stunning entrance with a beautiful castle feel and amazing views over Malta. The atmosphere is unique – walking through the gate feels like stepping back in time. Definitely a must-see when visiting the island.
Joschua K — Google review
Mdina Gate is absolutely stunning and a must-visit when in Malta. The gate itself is very old, beautifully preserved, and so Instagrammable—it honestly feels like stepping back in time. As a fan of Game of Thrones, it was extra special for me since the gate was featured in the series. Walking through it really gave me those medieval vibes! Inside the walled city, you’ll find charming narrow streets, historic buildings, and plenty of amazing restaurants and cafés where you can relax and soak in the atmosphere. Mdina is often called the “Silent City,” and it truly lives up to the name—it’s peaceful, picturesque, and full of history. Whether you’re here for sightseeing, photography, dining, or just a leisurely stroll, Mdina Gate and the city beyond it are not to be missed. It’s one of the highlights of Malta and a place I would love to come back to again.
Natalie A — Google review
Mdina, also known as the “Silent City,” is one of the most enchanting places in Malta. Perched on a hilltop with stunning views across the island, this walled city feels like stepping back in time. The narrow, winding streets, centuries-old palaces, and quiet courtyards create a peaceful atmosphere far removed from the hustle of modern life. Highlights include St. Paul’s Cathedral, the beautiful bastion walls overlooking the countryside, and the charming cafés and restaurants tucked inside the old buildings. Even though it’s small, Mdina carries a unique charm—especially at night when the city glows under soft lights, making it truly magical. Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or simply want a calm and romantic place to explore, Mdina is a must-visit in Malta. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)

The Malta Aviation Museum is a paradise for aircraft enthusiasts, situated on the former Royal Air Force station. It features a remarkable collection of aircraft, including a WWII Spitfire Mk IX and a Hawker Hurricane IIa that were salvaged from the sea after 54 years. The museum also showcases other vintage planes such as a Flying Flea, De Havilland Vampire T11, Fiat G91R, and Douglas Dakota DC-3.
I was excited to be there. The place is nice and clean, however small. 3 hangars to gather a good few machines there. Outfits, stories and a room with plastic models. Toilets at the place and some souvenirs can be gotten as well.
Jakub O — Google review
Really amazing place. Planes are beautiful and in really good condition. The vending machines in the canteen area have lots of great options and the gift shop has lots of amazing gifts for aviation lovers like me. There is a huge model collection that's really impressive that has models of planes of many different countries and time periods. 10/10 will definitely visit again!
Matthew G — Google review
We had such a lovely time at the Malta Aviation Museum today. There is a lot to see and learn, from historic aircraft to fascinating displays, and one of our highlights was being able to go into the front of a cockpit. What really made the experience even more special was the kindness of the staff. The curator (or maybe employee; we are not quite sure, sorry) was incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly. He even offered us water because of the heat, and we ended up having a really nice little chat. You can truly tell he’s passionate about the museum and what it represents. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Malta and even just a little curious about aviation.
Pauline E — Google review
This is a private museum that does a great job of recording and preserving Malta's aviation heritage. Understandably the collection leans towards the second world war but it also features some post-war aircraft - and there are some vehicles and lots of interesting photographs. The exhibits are all clearly labeled and the descriptions contain interesting historical information and anecdotes.
Richard L — Google review
They have many great and historic planes you can look at. Including the history of the general types of airplanes and the specific history of the models on display. This exhibition is a nice add on after visiting some of the "Malta at war" museums and a must see for all airplane fans.
Jannik H — Google review
Excellent place to Visit, just next to the craft village, a nice place to walk around and look at the planes in the hangar's has a spitfire which I believe was flown to Malta for the museum to house.

Set below ancient capital mdina rabat near national football stadium. This gem is well worth a visit. Several hangars with varied aircraft in them from approx 1930 to 70s . Good display and information about 2nd World War battles with luftwaffe.

Love the history of Malta, if you do then you have to visit this museum, watch the video of the ace pilot shooting down so many German aircraft, it had me in tears how such a young man could be so brave.

Villa Bologna is a luxurious 18th-century boutique hotel with elegantly decorated rooms and beautifully landscaped gardens. Once the residence of the prime minister of Malta, it boasts the largest private garden on the island and is a popular venue for weddings, fairs, and parties. The restaurant offers delicious food in a beautiful setting, although some guests found the service lacking. The location provides ample space for kids to play and offers a serene atmosphere for families and friends to enjoy.
The villa was the perfect setting for the wedding we attended. The location is great and really easy to enjoy, with beautiful surroundings that made the whole event feel special. Everything was well kept, spacious, and comfortable, which added to the experience. We really liked it and would happily come back again.

We had an amazing meal in Villa Bologna! Food was absolutely delicious and staff were very friendly and welcoming! The setting was beautiful and the courtyard had an amazing romantic atmosphere!! They handled my egg allergy perfectly, very professional and made me feel very safe eating here!!

Having lunch at The Villa Bologna Restaurant on a Sunday was a real pleasure. The atmosphere felt warm and family-friendly, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed weekend meal. The food was excellent – the dishes were full of flavor and clearly made with care – and the service was attentive without ever being intrusive. A lovely place to enjoy good food in a welcoming environment.

The Villa Bologna Restaurant has a lot to offer when it comes to food – the cotoletta was crispy, tender, and full of flavor, while the Amalfitana pizza was light, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. The service could not have been better: attentive, friendly, and very professional throughout the evening. Sadly, the repeated blackouts in the dining room spoiled what could have been a truly memorable dinner. With such great food and service, it was disappointing to have the atmosphere constantly interrupted.

Nice place. We went for a Sunday lunch. Food took a while to be served. We asked for bread until we waited and server said "i'll see what I can do"... Starters arrived, all good. Then we waited for at least 30m for the mains. A lasagna was clearly pre frozen and wasnt heated properly. Looked gross and clearly not fresh. Told the server and it was changed to a fresh better one. Ordered a steak well done it arrived medium rare. Sent back. We were 4 and all 4 meals arrived at a different time. Dessert and coffees were on the house as a service recovery - i ordered an early grey tea, they bring an english breakfast tea with no milk lol. Even their "free" items werent correct. The staff worked very hard. The problem is they are UNDER staffed. Both the servers and clearly there was chaos in their kitchen. With those prices, we expected alot better. Wont return for sure!
Benjamin E — Google review
The place looked very nice. But service was abit leeking asked for Aperol spritz waiter said we do not have when it was on the menu. Ac was switched off so got very hot inside. Asked for one of the desserts, we got lemon sorbet instead. Vegetables and potatoes are at extra cost and very expensive. Euro9 for a plate of grilled slices of courgette and aubergine.

A cafe for lunch with children. The choice of food is decent, the prices are fair, the portions are large. We couldn't eat everything, but stuff gave us boxes and we were able to take away food.

Great outing for children and adults alike. Reasonable prices, plenty of seating especially outside. Parking can be problematic sometimes. Play area for the children with live animals. Nice gardens for a leisurely stroll. Something for everyone.
Michael T — Google review
Everything surrounding the cafeteria is nice. Kids have the playgrounds and animals. The cafe itself is average. Anything we’ve had so far tasted the same if you get it from regular store. The atmosphere is more towards the cheap and dirty side. But the kids like the playground, so we keep on coming here.

I visited Malta as an exchange student from fall 2021 to February 2022. And for about two first months I regularly visited this cafe. During this time, I had an extremely positive impression of the cafe. The staff is very friendly, polite and not averse to chatting if they have the time and opportunity. The food is also very, very tasty. There was one not very pleasant incident with the food, but it was resolved very quickly. So I recommend this place to everyone.

Il-Ġnien ta' Sant'Anton is a stunning formal garden that beautifully surrounds the historic San Anton Palace. This well-maintained oasis features winding walkways, charming fountains, and captivating sculptures, making it an ideal spot for leisurely strolls or quiet moments of reflection. Visitors can enjoy the serene atmosphere while observing peacocks, ducks, and even turtles roaming freely among lush greenery. The garden's symmetrical layout is complemented by majestic old trees that provide ample shade on sunny days.
Really gorgeous gardens and a lovely place to spend some time. It’s free to enter the outdoor areas, and there’s a calm, peaceful vibe throughout. The flower displays are amazing, and we even saw peacocks wandering around which was a nice surprise. There are lots of info boards around and labels on trees and plants, so it’s actually quite interesting if you like learning about nature. The gardens also have a bit of historical significance, which adds to the experience. Some parts of the paths are a bit uneven, so not everywhere is fully accessible, but overall it’s well looked after and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Amy L — Google review
Lovely public garden, especially in spring. On weekends it gets packed, but on weekdays it's peaceful with occasional tourist bus. It used to have cages with birds and glasshouses with succulents and orchid collections, but sadly that all is gone. It is created as a collection of trees given to Maltese rulers by state visitors from all around the world. There is a small maze, but sadly quite destroyed by kids who are not taught respect by their parents. There are free roaming peacocks, chickens, ducks and one fountain has water turtles.

The Villa Bologna Restaurant is housed in an 18th-century Maltese country house, still inhabited by the family that built it. The grounds are meticulously maintained and open to the public, featuring a pottery shop and a newly renovated restaurant offering a delectable menu. While some suggest adding specials to enhance the dining experience, others praise the delicious dishes and professional service. The stunning location and excellent food make it worth a visit from anywhere in Malta.
Amazing decor, absolutely gorgeous courtyard. The food and drinks were both lovely and generously portioned. I would’ve loved to have stayed for dessert but I forgot to put on insect repellent and ended up getting bitten 12 times all over my legs. We had to cut the evening short because I was so uncomfortable. Not the restaurants fault at all but just something to keep in mind and remember to bring bug spray!! Having the pottery shop next door was such a nice touch. We picked up a few pieces and really enjoyed looking around after our meal.

A truly special evening at Villa Bologna — a perfect blend of charm, great food, and a magical atmosphere. We had dinner in the lovely outdoor garden, surrounded by a well-kept and beautifully lit space, with warm lighting and soft background music that made the experience even more relaxing. We started with a tasty selection of roast potatoes, fries, and crispy fried calamari, followed by delicious pizzas that were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The location is full of character, beautifully maintained, and ideal for a romantic dinner or a cozy night out with friends. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and a unique setting in Malta! @hungry_travelers Armando & Caterina

The ambience is very romantic. We had a table in the garden which was so lovely. We shared a pizza a plate of pasta & also some drinks. Everything was amazing. We had a slight issue with the pasta which for it we were given two free desserts and they even removed the pasta from the bill. We didn’t complain, we just pointed out to our server. Overall I would recommend this place 100% Service food and ambience on top. You’ll see us again for sure!

We had dinner here yesterday, and I have to say,I’d recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere is amazing, the setting is absolutely beautiful and cozy, and the salmon we had was just perfect. You really feel like you’ve stepped into a scene from a movie. That said, there was one downside. Our waitress—a blonde with glasses, whose name I unfortunately don’t know — didn’t seem to have much respect for her guests. We got the feeling we’d walked into her restaurant as unwelcome visitors she’d rather not have there. I’ve been working in customer service myself for years, and I’m usually the first to give people the benefit of the doubt, but in this case it was disappointing. I don’t want to leave a bad rating, because honestly this place deserves a recommendation — the rest of the staff were lovely, and everything else was perfect. I’d just like to pass along a little reminder to that young lady: it costs nothing to be nice.
Tanya S — Google review
The ambience of this restaurant is lovely — clean, welcoming, and well put together. The staff are polite and made us feel comfortable right away. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment, especially given the prices charged. The calamari arrived cold, and instead of tartar sauce, it was served with plain mayonnaise. With only a few tables occupied, this was surprising. The biggest letdown was the paccheri al mare (€25). The pasta was overcooked to the point of breaking, and the mussels were practically non-existent — just a two literally empty shells for decoration. The overall taste suggested frozen, low-quality ingredients. Honestly, I could have prepared a better version at home. For the time being, I would only recommend this place if you’re looking to enjoy a nice bottle of wine in a pleasant setting — but definitely not for the food.

Absolutely exceptional Italian cuisine! Everything was incredibly delicious — truly authentic Italian flavors. The service was outstanding and made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend trying the tuna — it was amazing! And don’t miss the tiramisu for dessert — simply delicious. A perfect place for anyone who loves genuine Italian food.

A Truly Memorable Dining Experience at Villa Bologna I had the absolute pleasure of dining at The Villa Bologna Restaurant during my visit to Malta, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The setting is breathtaking – surrounded by lush gardens and historic charm, it offers a unique and peaceful atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and full of fresh, vibrant flavors that reflect the best of Mediterranean cuisine. Every dish was carefully prepared and delicious from start to finish. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the incredible service – especially from Majda, the hostess. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Her energy and professionalism brought such a personal touch to the evening, and she made sure everything ran smoothly throughout. It's rare to meet someone who makes such a lasting impression, and Majda truly did. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Malta – for the atmosphere, the food, and especially the people who make it special. I will definitely be returning!

Rickshaw is a highly regarded restaurant located in Attard, Malta. It offers very high-quality lobster and beautifully prepared starters. The restaurant is part of the Corinthia Palace Hotel and Spa, which has been verified by Forbes Travel Guide. Rickshaw's fusion of Chinese cuisine makes it stand out among the best restaurants in Attard. With 367 reviews, it's a popular choice for those seeking an exceptional dining experience in the area.
Only time to try one restaurant in Malta? Make it the glowing gem that is Rickshaw. If you're coming by car, you can park in front of the flags on the Corinthia hotel grounds; there were spaces when we arrived at 17:45 on a Wednesday. Upon entering the Corinthia Hotel from the main entrance, take a left at the lobby and keep walking to enter Caprice Bar; inside there is a life-size rickshaw model and stairs leading down to Rickshaw restaurant. For some reason they've decided to locate this excellent dining establishment venue in a basement with dark decor. Although the decor is premium and reflective of the Asian continent, it would've been nice to have some windows to the outside world, or at least a sense of brightness. Nevertheless, a minor point given the following praise. Upon arrival you're greeted with warmth by the staff; in our case it was the manager who seated us. You immediately get a sense of top-end professionalism and the staff here know how to treat guests well in a premium restaurant environment. By the way, it's absolutely worth cashing in on the 15% discount off your bill, which is offered for reservations made for between 6-7pm - prime dinner time for me personally! To complement the service is excellent food, and this is where Rickshaw shines. As an omnivorous restaurant, the vast majority of the dishes will not be vegan-friendly. Having said that, the menu accounts for plant-based options and the modest selection that is available is cooked skillfully and presented inline with cadre of the very best restaurants. I have photos of my dishes - the one with the rice is one I clumsily put together myself so don't let that reflect the chef's good work - their magic can be found in the taste. My general recommendation is to make room for three courses, mainly because none are worth missing out on. The portions felt fairly sized and not the microscopic ones that you'll likely find at some Michelin-rated places. Let's just say I had dreams about the food post-visit. With such a wonderful dining experience, I can wholeheartedly say Rickshaw is a credit to Malta's rich demographic makeup and roster of restaurants. Highly recommended!

Been here on many occasions; its the best (and probably the only) quality Chinese food in Malta. The staff here are also excellent; friendly and efficient. Also recommend the Caprice Lounge upstairs before which is also a nice relaxing place to spend an hour or so before your meal.

The restaurant is part of the Corinthia Palace. When we arrived the bar staff were not sure how to deal with us, not asking if we were dining or just drinking so we found our own way down to the restaurant. Upon arrival service improved considerably. There were four of us dining and we had:- Prawn crackers Prawn laksa lemak Miso broth Chicken sate (satay) Aromatic glazed duck (crispy duck) Beef clay pot - cooked at table. Minor issue was they presented this to cook then served remaining meals but forgot to actually serve mine out. A quick nod to staff sorted that out. It was stunning. Mapo Thai green curry Singapore noodles Egg fried rice All well presented and tasting excellent I would not hesitate to recommend a visit.

Based in the Corinthian hotel the restaurant does feel separate which was good. The staff were impeccable in their service. Food excelled in all areas.

Excellent food and service. A vast choice in the menu from normal to hot and spicy. Efficient staff. Enjoyed the lovely atmosphere 🤗🤗

Organised, efficient, streamlined, professional and friendly - that's how I would describe the waiting staff and the management at the Rickshaw. The kitchen staff of the Rickshaw are just as brilliant and talented. The head chef of the Rickshaw is Filipina and you can see some influence from the cuisine of the Philippines in the menu. We had the crab cakes and the chili lobster. The crab cakes had a really crunchy exterior and a juicy interior. Served with the honey and sweet chili sauce, the crab cakes were fantastic. The lobster, served with egg fried rice, was the real highlight of the meal. At the time, we were served with really meaty lobsters that's just bursting with flavour and had a perfect umami taste. They also serve delicious cocktails. Without a doubt, the Rickshaw is one of my favourite pan-Asian restaurants and it's so easy to see why it's so highly rated. Booking online is really easy and the Rickshaw responds quickly. I recommend booking a table as this place is quite popular!

Food was excellent and service was very good.
Lydon B — Google review
The food presented before us was impressively laid out. The group had a mix of grilled starters whereas I opted for the Miso soup which was a delicious vegetable broth with Chinese cabbage, tofu, Pak Choi and Gai Lan. The mains were duck, beef in a black bean sauce and a selection of seafood, all of which went down very well. Some of us had a dessert; mango ice cream with coconut terrine as well as black bean brownies. The staff are pleasant, helpful and friendly and the seating was comfortable. I could almost say the place was a tad overcrowded, not the Rickshaw I went to some few years ago. More tables seem to have been added in which made the atmosphere a bit loud for my liking but all in all, a highly enjoyable evening and an asian-themed restaurant to recommend.

Restaurant
The Golden Fork in Rabat, Malta is a charming restaurant that has been recognized by Michelin for its creative dishes and unique presentation. The cozy and intimate atmosphere of the restaurant immediately creates a sense of warmth and relaxation. Visitors can enjoy a nice dinner with a 7-course menu featuring well-decorated dishes, although some feedback mentioned that the fish was slightly dry and the beetroot could be softer.
We enjoyed a beautifully thought out tasting menu, with each element quite perfectly prepared - the sear on the octopus, the char on the fish, the smoothest ravioli filling, I can go on. The brioche for dessert was a dream. The service was warm and attentive, making it a special evening worth repeating. Well done to all the team.

Beatiful restaurant close to Mdina set in a traditional stone house. Beatifully decorated with nice details. The food is delicious. The tasting menu provides combinations of flavours that are very creative ( amberjack with white chocolate sauce was one of the dishes and it was...impeccable). The service is very professional, quick and attentive.

One of the best fine dining experiences I've had in Malta – and beyond! The food was exceptional, surpassing all expectations. The service was outstanding, with Joseph in particular providing incredibly attentive and thoughtful care. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates a beautifully crafted dinner, where every detail and flavor is treated with utmost precision and passion.

Had dinner here last night. Overall good value. The food was a mix of courses with some courses being an amazing explosion of flavors and others falling flat. The service was ok, but for high end I expect that they will refill my water frequently and clean the table crumbs after each course. The presentation of food was top notch art work, but the wine pairing missed the mark. Overall I can recommend it, but I also see room for improvement to earn that Michelin star.

Amazing Experience at Golden Fork! From the warm atmosphere to the impeccable service, everything was perfect! Definitely dine at this restaurant when in Mdina or you're missing out! We loved our experience from start to end. The dishes were well thought through, not only how ingredients were combined, but also how they were served in wonderfully quirky ways. The staff was attentive and kind and the atmosphere was relaxed but still fine-dining. We ordered from the a la carte menu and enjoyed every single dish.

Day 2

Northeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Palazzo Falson, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Mosta. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Palazzo Falson, also known as the Norman House, is a well-preserved medieval palace in Mdina, dating back to the early 14th century. The house boasts beautiful double windows from the 15th century and has a colorful history, including ownership by Matteo Falsone and Captain Olof Gollcher. The latter amassed an eclectic collection of antiques, which now form a fascinating display at the museum.
This place is a gem for medieval architecture lovers like us! Rich history and stunning architecture captivated us. The guided tour was insightful, showcasing beautiful art and antiques. We loved the kitchen and armory.A memorable experience we highly recommend!

Audioguide included in the ticket price helps you explain the highlights of Olof Gollcher’s collection, who bought the house in 1927. Beautiful library. Make sure also to go to the rooftop (cafe and panoramic views).

A visit to the timeless walled city of Mdina, followed by a stroll to Rabat, is an experience like no other. Beginning with a charming horse-drawn carriage ride through Mdina’s narrow lanes and continuing on foot, the journey feels almost dreamlike. With only around 80 residents—mostly ultra-wealthy—the city preserves its aura of exclusivity. Ancient churches such as the magnificent St. Paul’s stand proudly within the fortress walls, while sweeping views from the bastions, once guarded by canons, remind visitors of its historic might. The Carmelite Church, officially the Church of the Annunciation, lies close to Palazzo Falzon and is a gem of Baroque architecture, steeped in heritage and still part of the Carmelite Priory. Adding to the city’s charm is even a classic British Royal Mail red post box, preserved in perfect condition, linking past and present in a quirky way. Words fall short of capturing the magic here—every corner, every stone tells a story. After soaking in Mdina’s beauty, a short 15–20 minute walk leads to Rabat, where time seems to slow. Its relaxed vibe, narrow cobbled alleys, and centuries-old atmosphere spark the imagination, offering a glimpse into the endurance and evolution of those who lived here long ago. Mdina and Rabat are places one longs to revisit again and again—each step revealing new layers of history, resilience, and quiet wonder. 💖📜© Ash-Cash (on Google) And Ash & Karen (on TripAdvisor)

Tldr: free quiet and beautiful café at the top, if you wish to see only the café ask at the entrance The museum is just an interesting old house with antiques. Not wheelchair accessible, loads of stairs. There are some interesting things however the best part is the free café at the top for which you do not need to purchase tickets for, just ask at the entrance to be guided to it. If you go through the museum first at the exit you will get a 10% discount for the café.

Mdina Glass, established in 1968, showcases the art of traditional glassblowing techniques where skilled artisans transform raw materials into vibrant molten glass. The store offers a diverse range of colorful glassware including vases, bowls, perfume bottles, candleholders, figurines and lamps. Visitors can explore a wide selection of glass products with varying prices based on size and intricacy. Customers have also reported receiving friendly service and even small discounts on their purchases.
Wonderful shop with 2 floors of handblown wares. I left wearing a ring and my friend's fiance bought her a stunning turtle to take home. Christmas in Malta is wonderful and there are so many unique gifts here, you're bound to leave with something, too. Staff very friendly, will go back again.

This handmade glass shop was absolutely beautiful. I bought a gift for my boyfriend here. I kept picking things up and putting them back before finally deciding what to get him because everything was just so lovely. It is a bit pricey, which makes sense since it’s handmade glass, and it’s definitely worth the price considering how beautiful the pieces are. Of course, I only bought something small because I don’t have much money, but if I had more, I would have definitely purchased more from the shop. It’s truly a stunning place.
Nadia L — Google review
Awful customer service experience. We purchased a Christmas bauble and specifically asked for it to be put into a box as we knew how delicate it was. The shop assistant bluntly refused, and said that bubble wrap would be fine. She didn't wrap the item properly and then not surprisingly it broke less than an hour later - we had simply gone for lunch and then noticed it when we left, it hadn't fallen or taken any large knocks. You can see how badly it was wrapped from the photo as the bubble wrap obviously doesn't fit around the whole bauble We returned and simply wanted to exchange it for one the same and the woman was rude, called us liars and said we had obviously smashed it. We opened the wrapping (and then took the attached photo) and she wouldn't even admit that there was not enough bubble wrap to cover the item. She eventually phoned her manager, wouldn't let us speak to her and the manager's only offer was 'if they buy another one they can have 10% off'. Do not recommend.

Nestled within the stunning Vilhena Palace, an 18th-century baroque gem in Mdina, the National Museum of Natural History is a treasure trove for anyone fascinated by the natural world. This captivating museum showcases nearly one million specimens that highlight Malta's rich biodiversity and historical significance.
Visited the National Museum of Natural History in Mdina for the candlelight evening, what a unique experience! The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was really fun. However, it was a bit overcrowded, which made it hard to move around, and it got pretty hot. Despite the chaos, it was still an enjoyable night out."

A decent little museum spent just over an hour in here. Low cost - Low budget museum. Nice friendly staff. Not suitable for prams or wheelchair users as far as could tell (lots of stairs). Worth the money and time
David G — Google review
Nice little museum, but probably not to everyone's taste. There is history on the flora and wildlife of Malta and the geology of the islands. More of a old style museum feel as no interactive displays. Worth a visit if it's your thing. Adult ticket €5, senior ticket €3.50, sorry don't know the child prices.
Paul B — Google review
The museum is okay, but not very informative if you're hoping to actually learn something. There are few explanations, if any. For example, there was a bat on display with a label that simply said “It’s a bat” — no species name or additional facts. On the positive side, they have an impressive collection of birds, seemingly covering almost every species found in Europe. However, once again, there’s little to no information provided about them. Overall, it’s worth a quick visit for the collection, but not if you’re looking for an educational experience.

If you enjoy Victorian out dated style museums then this is for you, it's Display cases are from the 1800's I would, the poor animals on display are in terrible state and out dated in been on display. Great price, beautiful pallace, the highlight was definitely the ornithology collection!

The museum is very dated and very much Victorian in style. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the cost of entry is low. That said the site offers a collection of rocks/geology for those interested in that subject and a large collection of taxidermy of varying levels of quality. The birds were plentiful and beautiful but other prices such as the crocodiles left me laughing at the low level of taxidermy and derpy faces. Is it worth a visit - yes due to it's low cost Did it blow me away - no The building itself is beautiful especially the courtyard it's just a real shame the content is so dated.

What started as an idea materialised with Bistrow Potteries. We commissioned them to create a name plaque, and they delivered an exceptional piece that captured, truth be told, exactly what we had envisioned. The process from idea to final product took only a few weeks. Beyond the impressive turnaround, what stood out most was the care they showed throughout, evidenced by the valuable feedback they provided to enhance our original idea. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding; the photos below truly speak for themselves. We are honestly ecstatic with the result and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I must give a special shout-out to Lara, who was exceptionally efficient and helpful throughout the entire process. From the moment we began discussing ideas to the final touches, Lara was there every step of the way, ensuring everything went smoothly. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction made the whole experience a joy. I'm now eagerly awaiting another beautiful mural that Bristow Potteries is manufacturing for me, and I have no doubt it will be just as extraordinary as the first. I highly recommend Bristow Potteries to anyone looking for unique and exquisite pottery work. Their professionalism, talent, and outstanding customer service truly set them apart.

We first visited Bristow Potteries, when on holiday from the UK, seven years ago. At that visit, we bought some lovely ceramic fish, for our Bathroom. When it was our 40th Wedding Anniversary 2 years ago, I decided to give my husband a surprise present of a lava table. So I contacted Lara, from Bristow Potteries to ask if they could make a lava table for 6 people. I gave Lara a rough description, of the design I would like. Lara was very helpful and friendly. She arranged the shipping and delivery to our address. We are very happy with the table and have had many good comments from people who have seen it. We would highly recommend Bristow Potteries Ltd. They are a professional and skilful company.

I bought something for 39.98 euros in here, but the shop owner rounded it up to 40 euros. When I complained, he threw 2 cents at me and said it was just a small amount, so it didn’t matter. When I asked why he was throwing money, he said it was a common practice in Maltese culture.I felt offended and racist.

Santa Lucia Cafeteria is an absolute great spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal or coffee in a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the presentation of the food and the cleanliness of the space make a great first impression. The selection is impressive, from their beautifully presented pastries and cakes to their fresh savoury items, there’s something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the pistachio éclair and the ricotta cannoli, both of which were freshly made and absolutely delicious. The quality of the ingredients really shines through in every bite. Service was excellent, friendly, professional staff who made me feel welcome and took the time to explain the different options. The café is well organised and even during busy times, it felt calm and efficient. The indoor seating area is cosy, while the outdoor space is great for enjoying a quiet coffee. The service is average, nothing particularly memorable. The quality of the products is also just fine—nothing bad, but nothing that stands out either. What really shocked me were the prices. How on earth can a simple croissant cost over 3 euros? That’s just insane. Honestly, I don’t mind paying a bit more for top-tier quality or a unique experience, but this is neither. Just average across the board, with sky-high prices. Unbelievable.

I was just trying to stop by the place after work to ask a question, if I needed to pre-order a cake where I wanted it personalized with a name on top of it, and the person who helped me told me they were closed. I told him it was just a question, he came over to open it for me, and when I asked him the question, he said, "Come back tomorrow." So, what kind of service do they provide? That their employees can't answer a simple question related to their product.

Decent food but nothing wow. The ambience is lovely which scores points but food will not amaze you. The linguini seafood tasted grainy and had the same sauce as my guest's tortellaci. Although the setting is a club lounge with few sit down typical tables, there is a lot of ambient noise, great for a lively get together but not so good for a quite meal. The decors is stylish with an industrial feel. The bar is well stocked especially with different gins. Parking also is not impossible so all in all it is worth a visit.

The Cyclist Bike Shop, founded by the passionate Jack Schiavone, is a haven for cycling enthusiasts. With an impressive background in bike racing and notable achievements like wearing the red jersey of the Tour ta Malta, Jack brings a wealth of experience to his shop. Customers have praised The Cyclist for its helpful service over the years; one loyal patron has been returning since 2013 for assistance with bike restoration and maintenance tips.
Rented a mountain bike here to cycle over to Mdina and Dingli with my partner. Great bike, simple hardtail but looking smart and well maintained. Great service. We didn't realise that we needed to reserve beforehand so they could get a bike ready (thought they'd all be lined up outside), but they quickly changed some tyres, fit some tubes and got two bikes ready while we waited. Very different experience to the bikes we rented in Gozo. Recommended.

When you walk in to rent a bike and the staff says “you ride a 56” just by looking at you, you know you’re in a good bike store. They have a super friendly, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Been a customer of the Cyclist since 2013 when I was restoring an old bike and they were very helpful with hints of how to do that, and in finding replacement parts. The service has remained consistent throughout these years and I returned to buy an e-bike in 2019. I'm nearing 5000 KM on the bike and I have returned to the cyclist a few times for a regular service for it. When I have a question about something that I can maintain myself they are very happy to answer or show a solution without charging me. In 2022 I also rented an e-bike for a friend who was on holiday here from the cyclist, and there were no issues with that.

I needed a cone wrench to service my hubs and they kindly provided one! Super friendly staff! This kind of generosity and customer care is rare these days. Definitely a shop that values its customers. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend bought his bike at this shop and he loves it! The guy who assisted us gave him a very good deal on a Specialized Stout bike. I can’t give the full 5 ⭐️ though because he was in a hurry during the transaction, even when we were the only customers in the shop. I expected some quality time explaining the bike etc. because it was still worth 500 euros. But anyway, overall, this is a good shop where you can buy premium bike stuff, and my bf said he would come back for the other gears he needs.

🏆 So happy to came across this bike shop during my stay in Malta. I came to Malta for the race, but suddenly noticed that the axle I had forgotten at home. The Cyclist ‘’rescued’’ me from missing the race and missing whole week of training. As Georgian National MTB Champion, week without training would be disaster. ✅ They not only lent me the axle, also did fitting for my new bike – Scott Spark RC. Words cannot explain how thankful I am for them. All of them are super friendly and Milos – he is the best mechanic, whom you can trust 100%. The shop itself is full of all kind of bikes and gears, everything cyclist needs. The cyclist is the best bike store in Malta and I think not only in Malta. Good luck guys, hope to meet you again.

If you want to enjoy Malta from the bicycle saddle and haven't brought your bike with you, you should go to 'The Cyclist'! Lot of possibilities, helpful and communicative Staff, reliable prices. I have just taken MTB bicycle for a few days there! The weather isn't good enough to take a road bike and have fun (strong wind) but it's not important 😀

Hi, the other day I went to get my bike repaired because it had a flat tyre. Although they ended up fixing the tyre, they didn’t even reattach the wheel to the frame properly, so yesterday I went mountain biking with my son and were unable to continue. Please tell your unintelligent employees to start fixing bikes properly.

I got engaged in December, we planned to get married in May of 2025. we went to see a lot of venues but out of all of them this was the best. amazing view. I called the company before we went to see the venue and we organised a meeting. the minute we got there we were introduced to this young girl Sophia. it was clear that she was new at this as she didnt know anything . she couldn't even show us outside as it was dark and she wasn't prepared, she couldnt put on the lights for us as she said the person concerned had left. was that a good first impression ? definitely not . so we went there for nothing. I was not impressed at all. however from the photos and the entrance I still got that feeling and imaged my wedding there. so I decided to close one eye , and convinced my partner to give her another chance. as he too had got this bad feeling about her. secondly we were promised a few emails and these emails never arrived on time, and I had to contact Sophia again to remind her. no reply . so I send her a message . no reply. I had to contact the person above her named marija telling her we like the venue and confirm and we would like to see it again but it seems that we will be having problems with Sophia as there is no communication at all. she insisted that we wouldn't.so we moved on and signed the venue contract. we started talking about the beverages.and the prices weren't cheap so sohija gave us some prices.and we based our budget on it. it turned out that the prices were wrong. so we had to start checking the budget again. In the mean time I was getting frustrated with Sophia but decided not to say anything again ! if we had to get our own beverages. after all the money they had the nerve to give me a price list of what wold cost if we had to get our own drinks and included ice charge ! beginning of march we started sorting the food and beverages menu.it took us a few days. once confirmed I sent an email saying this is the food we chose and we needed a confirmation of the food we choose to avoid further mistakes. in return the next email , I did not get my confirmation but I got a contract, and an invoice saying payment is DUE, and that I have to pay 90% of the amount at one go! due to fact also that it is a short notice wedding . this was not discussed at all . and the contract hadn't even been signed yet ! one can imagine my frustration. its my wedding and our money and we were sorting out the payments slowly as a normal wedding would do. what I saw was greed , and had enough of Sophia disrespecting us as not being valuable clients because it was a small wedding. and the value for money forth was not worthed! I need said that I wouldn't pay them! I phoned Sophia and I got so upset, I was angry and I raised my voice but not once did I call her names. I just told her this is not profressional ! the next thing I got is the owner rafel of TA briju sending me an email stating that he will not tolerate my attitude towards his staff ! he didnt even consider hearing me out and seeing the reason as to why I was upset. I had had enough of Sophia and her unprofessionalism.he offered to give us the money back that we had paid of the venue tow months before the wedding just like that ! it was clear that he didn't care at all. showing us that our wedding has no value to them and they dont need our wedding therebecause the wedding was small . both Sophia and rafel were not professional enough to the see the side of there clients story. they left us high and dry ! and not reliable at all. thank fully I made some phone calls and found another venue with better prices and better offers and better food, and looking forward to our wedding in may now and the planning is so plain sailing and so professionally done. however this is unacceptable when people think they have the power to ruin what is not valuable to them. Sophia definitely needs to gain some experience. very dissapointing both my fiancee and myself are very disappointed that these people still exists with so much greed. not reliable at all

We shared a plate of crispy duck Bao buns, and a slice of vanilla lemon cake. One of us had a glass of local white wine, the other had a shandy. It came to €24.50. It was all delicious, and the staff were great.

Food wasn’t at it used to, the bread was slightly dry and the coronation chicken baguette didn’t really hit the spot, but the tuna baguette and the biscoff coffee along with the carrot cake were absolutely yummy! A bit on the pricey side too but it is what it is.

Very nice place for meeting with friends. Good Food , some items are a bit over priced but the burgers are reasonable. Would be nice that this place wpuld offer platters for summer evenings.

Quite disappointing paying €4.95 for a relatively small piece of cake. In their defense, it was decent. Even though an interesting attempt, the salted pretzel put on top was completely wet and not crunchy. The atmosphere was average - the outside areas is decent even though one can observe a number of unpleasant things such as a destroyed pvement and worn-out outdoor furniture. €10 for a piece of cake, Latte (with an extra 45c charge since it was decaffeinated!) And an Americao is quite expensive in my opinion.

nice atmosphere, pool side, calm vibes. the food and service was v poor, especially the food. It was the worst meal we had of 1 week of meals in Malta. I am confused as to why it’s so highly rated. It is so so overpriced for what it is.

The restaurant made a great impression on us from the moment we entered the ‘secret garden’. The atmosphere is very beautiful, set in a garden overlooking a large pool. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Secret Garden. For starters we opted to share the sea bream tartare which was super fresh and delicious. For mains, I opted for the tuna which was cooked to perfection. Every dish was bursting with flavour and perfectly balanced. One could feel that the food is prepared from quality ingredients and with attention to detail. My only negative comment is the pasta portions are quite small for a main dish especially charging so much. The staff were welcoming, attentive, well mannered, friendly and professional - everything went smoothly and with class. I recommend this place – for the atmosphere, quality of service and taste of the dishes.

Came here with friends for a snack and drinks late afternoon. Welcomed by the touch of relaxing and refreshing surroundings. We were attentively served by Rakesh, Kushal and with other team members. They are accommodating and helping each other. The fried calamari is great and perfectly paired with the chili jam. We had a great time staying at the lounge area, feeling the breeze. That would be my preferred area next time. 😊 The area is really quiet, perfect if you want to get away from the roaring engines and bustling city.

Very nice place but I am amazed by the slowness of the service. Aperol was brought 20-25 minutes. It's not even a dish that needs to be cooked for a long time. We sat with dirty dishes for 10 minutes after we placed our order. We wanted to sit longer and order something else, but after our table didn't even come to clean for a long time, we just left.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Sliema, AZAR is a culinary gem that promises an international dining experience infused with a touch of laidback elegance. The name "AZAR," meaning fire in Greek, perfectly encapsulates the essence of their menu, which features smoky and charred delights that tantalize your taste buds.
Without a doubt our best meal in Malta! The name means born of the flame, and all food was cooked in accordance. We went with recommendations for starters - Qarabaghli Mimi and the ravioli - both amazing. For main we had the beef brisket and the chicken. It was the best chicken meal I have eaten in 20 years! Potato gratin on the side. And followed up by chocolate cake for dessert. We went with the wine recommendation also and it was also our best Maltese wine of the trip! The service lead by Pierre, supported by Chris and Pedro, was top notch. They gave great recommendations for the trip also. Weather wise we had to sit inside, but we gave a lovely alcove space. Intimate and cosy. Overall a 10/10 experience. We look forward to our return. Thanks team!

From start to finish, this was a refined and warm dining experience. The staff was outstanding — friendly, knowledgeable, and truly attentive. Dishes were well thought out, with a clear focus on high-quality ingredients. While prices are on the higher end for Malta, the value and execution justify the cost. We tried both fish and meat, and while the fish was good, the meat dishes clearly stood out — that’s where the kitchen shines. Highly recommended for a special dinner.

Azar is a fantastic place for dinner if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the food is simply outstanding. If I had to point out one thing, it would be the ambiance. It doesn’t quite match the incredible level of the food, which is honestly so good it deserves a setting that feels just as refined. Overall, though, I highly recommend Azar for the amazing flavors and excellent service

The best meal & service we’ve had in Malta. In fact the highlight of our trip so far. The Maitre D was so knowledgeable and the service was flawless. The tortellini, brisket, wreckfish with sides of gratin potatoes & butternut squash were sublime. The chocolate salted caramel tart & creme brûlée with prickly pear were special. Just go, you won’t regret it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Azar, and it was an experience to remember —a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The service was outstanding; the staff were not only professional but also incredibly thoughtful, with a perfect balance of attentiveness and subtlety.

Small restaurant with a fantastic vibe which is located in a boutique hotel. The menu was explained to us in detail by the waiter on arrival, who said that it changes daily depending on what is found fresh that day / week. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, though as it got a little busier later on, we were left waiting a long time to collect and pay for the bill. The meat portion for the brisket was really quite small and very fatty (fat portion hidden under the overlap of each piece), so at least half of the already small portion was slimy fat. All in all, a good meal.

Azar delivers at a level that feels Michelin-worthy, with food that borders on art and service that is both warm and polished. The qarabaghli mimli was a standout masterpiece, and both the chicken and beef were cooked to perfection.

Air-conditioned sushi restaurant with Korean dishes listed in the back of the menu. The Korean dish turned out to be much more enjoyable than the sushi. The entrance of the restaurant looks a little rundown but the interiors are modern. 🔸️ Tak Kangjung 🙂🙂🙂🙂 This Korean dish of battered boneless chicken thigh, coated with sweet & spicy sauce was flavourful and the chicken was nice. Steamed rice was extra charge. 🔸️ 10 pcs chef's choice 😆 8 pieces of large, fat rolls and 2 pieces of nigiri. The ingredients didn't come together. It was unexpectedly hard, dry and tasteless.

The Parish Church of St. Mary in Attard, Malta is a stunning Renaissance church dedicated to the Assumption of Saint Mary. Built between 1613 and 1624, it boasts intricate details and beautiful frescoes inside, as well as a magnificent dome. The church is currently undergoing facade restoration and hosts various religious events throughout the year, including daily masses and celebrations for the Feast of the Assumption of Lady on August 15th.
One of Malta's 3 villages both picturesque and proud of it's past. Inside and out the church breathes beauty. Surrounded by stunning old villas and Palazzo cross crossed narrow streets. No any comments. I loved them..the way a lady did mine acne facial.i m totally speechless..she did very well.forgot to ask her name .but she was outstanding. definitely I will go back.

I had a facial botox treatment, the truth is that I was not satisfied with the results, they do not follow up to know if you are satisfied with their work, that is, you have no guarantee. It is not the first time I have had one of these treatments, and they usually do a follow up, I think they need that. I don't know if the product they applied is not of good quality but I didn't like the results at all, and even if I asked for a touch up because as I said before they don't follow up on anything, very bad experience the truth ...

I have been coming to Transforma for years to do Laser and filler However this last month have come back to do fillers , that were not put efficiently and evenly..which left me with uneven face and huge bruises.. I went for a touch up and she resolved some and added some ..or so I though.I had gone for wrinkles removal and after my 3rd visit they are still there and the filler I paid for in my cheeks was almost gone as well..so I basically paid lots of money to have good filler put on..after resolved and put something else I don't know even what..since I didn't even see the syringe. Its strange as the first time u pay you are shown the syringe and ex date and after you come for touch ups you are injected something one has no idea what .Not to mention the results are NOT there and I paid good money for a service and treatment ! The doctor is very kind and the staff but I'm afraid the job was not done properly and I'm not happy to go back anymore! It's dissapointing😐

Great service and professional staff. Just wish expense to remove unwanted hair was a bit less as it tends to become quite an expense in the long run.

The staff are always very friendly and customer-oriented. However, over the years, the prices have only gone up, and, in my eyes, gotten exorbitantly expensive for no reason.

The gallery is amazing. During my time in Malta I often gazed through the window and finally went in. We bought a lovely piece from the artist Micko. Christine was very friendly and helpful in the process of buying and having it safely sent to our country.

Saracino's is a renowned restaurant located in Attard, Malta. Known for its Yorkshire warmth and high-quality offerings, it has gained popularity for being one of the first to introduce scones in Malta. The freshly baked scones are served with jam and cream, making them a delightful treat. Additionally, Saracino's is praised for its very high quality lobster and beautifully prepared starters.
Brilliant local restaurant with authentic Maltese dishes. The interior is 400 year old vaulted ceilings and there is a good proportion of local people dining here.

First of all , the place was really nice and cozy. We went there for a small gathering of 10 people and we felt that the place were bit tight. as its a really busy resurgent the services were bit slow. we ordered some burgers, pizzas and some pasta The burgers and pasta were nice To be honest i was disappointed about the food , i ordered the Saracino special shrimps pasta with gorgonzola taste wise it was ok , but the crust were burnt I am not here to blame them i want them to take care of this

The food was great. We had the meat meal for two and all of it was amazing. One of the items in it was a ribeye and as a native of Nebraska USA the steak was a rump roast dressed up like a ribeye. But as we are known for steak I bet it would go unnoticed by most. When we chose the restaurant we didn't know it was the go to catering for movie sets but after eating there I see why. It was a very quaint place with a home town of what "real" Malta life is like. Definitely worth eating at.

This was exactly what we were looking for in a restaurant. Having discovered it we dined here for the last 2 nights of our holiday. They have a wonderfully wide ranging menu plus a specials board. We had Sea Bass with Caponata, & Pork Belly with roasted veg & mash , with local beer & glasses of red house wine, night two we had Ribeye steak with roast veg & baked potatoes, pasta beef Ragu ,also local Cisk beer & local red wine. Portions are really large! Desserts looked wonderful but we had no room! Coffee great. Initially I was unsure if they had wine available as there was no mention of a wine menu on general menu or Google - but it's just separate & you need to ask for it - not on each table so not automatically visible, but I spotted a wine rack across the toon so knew there would be one. A wonderfully relaxed family local atmosphere perfect. The staff are friendly, food consistently delicious really good atmosphere, popular but we choose to eat early about 6.30pm & were able to book same day. It was about a 10 minute walk here from our hotel the Corinthia Palace in San Anton & was a lovely change from the formality of the hotel. We found it to be the best restaurant of the five we ate at . It's set in such a lovely square in Attard, right next to the church in a beautiful old building through little winding streets, if you were visiting San Anton gardens it would be a 10 minute walk from there too. You can rely on a restaurant that clearly attracts a mix of local families having a meal out, including some large tables, but you also feel very welcomed if on holiday. We thought it good value particularly with portion sizes. Thank you- you are a great team. Very clean too & original indoor & outdoor character architecture fabulous, comfy temperature, perfect gentle buzz & atmosphere.
Joy E — Google review
The restaurant has a nice Maltese vibe and a great location right next to the church. That said, the menu could be clearer—several pescatarian dishes are marked as vegetarian, and there are very few actual vegetarian options, with almost nothing for vegans. Still, the atmosphere is good and the setting is hard to beat.

Small restaurant with delicious pizza and reasonably priced. The service was great, super friendly. It has comfortable seating on the outside, would definitely would recommend it if, in the area.

A basic pizzeria of which you'd find countless in Italy. We were however grateful to be able to dine here on the 31st of December here since we landed in Malta not even 24 hours earlier and most other restaurants were fully booked. We shared a fried burrata which was OK, then I had a pizza (served with a boiled egg, which is not exactly the Italian way, but still...) and my husband had a steak that was much appreciated. Decent quality and service, reasonably priced, a truly average place saved by the kindness of the owner.

Restaurant
Tiffany's Bistro, located along the Sliema waterfront in Malta, is a highly recommended restaurant offering international comfort food favorites such as pad Thai, burgers, and pasta dishes. The bistro is known for its generous portions of pastas, fish, meat, salads, and risotto. Visitors have praised the welcoming and attentive staff as well as the delicious food. Some highlights include Tortellacci filled with ricotta and pecorino and a classic burger.
I visited this restaurant three times during my stay, and each visit was consistently excellent. The food was full of flavor — the local rabbit was outstanding, and their pasta dish was just as impressive. Everything our group ordered was delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming with a great vibe. Inside, the lighting adds a beautiful touch, while the outdoor seating has a lovely, relaxed ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure we were happy. A truly memorable dining experience every time. Highly recommended!

A wonderful spot by the waterfront! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The food was delicious, full of flavor and prepared with care, and the drinks matched perfectly — refreshing and well-balanced. The service is great: the staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations. There are often queues, but it’s definitely worth waiting a bit — the overall experience makes up for it. Perfect place for both a relaxed meal and a special evening out. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Just had an amazing experience at this restaurant! Other reviewers weren't kidding about the traditional rabbit dish, it was absolutely delicious and the portion was enormous. I could barely finish it all! The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, very authentic preparation. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The waiter was incredibly polite and attentive throughout the entire meal. You can tell the staff really cares about making sure guests have a great time. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic cuisine with generous portions and top notch service!

Highly recommend this place. We were so famished, we forgot to take pics of the food but everything was great! The drinks were flavorful and hit the spot. The restaurant is in a great location nearby to so much. If you want an all in one place to visit, drink, great atmosphere and great food then this is your spot.

The portions were very generous. The size of the pasta could have been to 2-3 people. So order it when you are really hungry. It wasn’t a flavorful experience and the carbonara was slightly over done - had a hint of egg taste to it. Its located at a busy street so you will hear cars and have lots of people pasaing through the restaurant. I appreciated that it also had an area where smoking was not allowed.
Kairi L — Google review
We were on a trip in Malta and walked past the restaurant a few times, we decided to give it a shot. Best decision ever. Had dinner there 3 times after that. We did reverve a table to avoid waiting times, the last day we arrived early and it still wasn't a problem even though the restaurant was full and long line was waiting outside. The staff is very friendly, smiling the whole time. The food was excellent 10/10, the cocktails were also the bests we had in Malta the whole week. If I go back to Malta, I'm going to visit again for sure.
