Beautiful Basilica. Take the time to walk around. Sad to see all of the items in the shrine rooms. Walk up the hill opposite to see marble statues and get a great view if you ignore the crane 😊

Very nice enormous basilica with a touching story emblematic of the history and culture of Malta. Eminently walkable area and along many tour bus routes for a 10-minute photo stop. Highly recommend walking around outside and inside to catch all the gems of this wonderful place!

This a beautiful Catholic Shrine of Blessed irgin Mary. The story of the church and Shrine is uniquely beautiful. The church has been build out of small Chapel where the picture of Mother Mary of TA' PINU is located. Inside is the gallery with pictures and letters of all miracles and healing that took place as of Mother Mary and Frances. The basilica is very peaceful inside. The church is not open at all times. Modesty is necessary when coming to holy space like Shrine.

Another amazing architectural wonder. Such a scared site and a blessing to experience this powerful space. So cool to check out even though I am not religious but rather spiritual.

The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu, nestled in the peaceful Gozitan countryside, is undoubtedly an impressive neo-Romanesque structure. I enjoyed visiting the site, and its architectural grandeur, particularly the towering bell tower and the beautiful mosaics outside, certainly make for a visually striking destination. It has a compelling history rooted in local tradition, dating back to a 19th-century peasant who allegedly heard the voice of the Virgin Mary in the original, much smaller chapel, which now sits behind the main altar. While the atmosphere is serene and it holds immense religious importance for the Maltese, beyond the stunning facade and the interesting back story, the visit itself wasn't a supremely unforgettable experience compared to some other world-class pilgrimage sites. Nevertheless, it is a significant cultural and spiritual landmark on the island of Gozo.

visited with family on 13.7.2025 in the early evening. Restaurant in a strategic location with a beautiful view of the local nature and the sea. Upon entering, the attentive staff immediately noticed us and seated us. The restaurant is clean and cozy. I had fresh fish for dinner, my girlfriend had spaghetti with seafood, and my child had chicken nuggets. Rating? I was very pleasantly surprised by the professional approach of the staff, who were very helpful. The food was very tasty and aesthetically at a high level. I've been in Gozo for two weeks now and have tried most of the island's top restaurants — some fancy, some expensive, and some with just average food. But this place truly stands out. The service is absolutely fantastic, the food is incredibly tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s rare to find a place that hits all the marks so well. During our visit, we also had a great conversation with the owner, who has been running this restaurant for over 40 years. He spoke with genuine passion about keeping things simple and honest — no unnecessary twists, no over-seasoning, just real, traditional cooking done right. They use fresh fish from local suppliers, which makes a huge difference in flavor and quality. You can feel that this place has soul. After all the places we’ve tried, this is by far the best. I can’t recommend it enough.

Very good food for such a commercial place. I recommend the chicken with almond sauce. On the menu, you’ll find classic beers, as well as a wide selection of cocktails and wines. The prices are pretty much the same as in Valletta, Malta.

Exceptional service from Irmine, and this is with the lens of spending years working in top restaurants. Just perfect balance of attention and meaningful, not upselling type of advice. Thank you to chefs too, the food was made with taste, fresh and wonderful flavours. The breathtaking sunset is just round a corner, so worth visiting before or after to enjoy that. Great restaurant, we had a fresh fish of the day (Merluzzo), made with garlic and herbs and super delicious sides like veggies, french fries, potatoes and salad.

Amazing place with excellent view. Clean and people working there are very nice, smiling and helpful. Sea bass grilled very tasty. Only one dish was not good, french fries. Fried in deep oil and it was like potato drunk oil. So the feeling was to eat oil in shape of french fries. Beside that, perfect.

Beautiful! Haven't got a chance to see Azure Window when it was still above the ground, but I think Wied il-Mielah is a nice "replacement". It's amazing, the view made me breathtakingly calm ❤️ You can make a lunch break there as well! ☀️☺️☀️ I recommend walking in Gozo, in general, but especially to this place. It's nice to go with the bus to Zebbug and from there walk to Wied il-Gharsi (amazing) and then to wied il-mielah and from there to Gharb or San Lawrenz to take a bus back. And for those who really like to walk It's nice to go from wied il-mielah to the "sunsets cliffs" (probably through Gharb) most beautiful spot and by the cliffs It's a nice walk down to Dwejra Bay, but this route is for Island explorers, highly recommended for everyone tho. ...I can’t find a word good enough to describe Malta’s stunning nature. Wied il-Mielah stands out with its beautiful coastal cliffs… a true rest for the soul and body…

Spectacular stone arch that you can walk out across on the left side of the valley (best to do this first, if you don't like heights), with a narrow staircase on the right side leading down to a great view of what's beneath where you were just standing (or not). It's an easy walk and there's parking nearby. If you go past the top of the stairs instead, out to the edge, then follow the clifftop around to the right, there's a ledge a couple of meters wide that you can walk along to see a huge cave a little further along the coast. Back at the car park, there's a road to the east that takes you along the cliffs to Wied il-Għasri, which is also well worth a visit.

It was an interesting drive to get there. It's a really fun one :)) The place itself is beautiful, easy to get to. There are stairs that go down, they're well made and safe.

Walk the trail down the side of the cliff. You are limited in view as it is blocked off towards the end Because it has become eroded, but still a wonderful view.

A fantastic geological experience, a truly wonderful visit to this rock formation that 30 million years ago was the seabed, if you look carefully you will find millions of fossils buried in the rock on which you walk. You can also take a walk down a staircase to view the Weid IL Mielah window

Very beautiful landscape and veiw over the sea and surounding cliffs. The Window looks like on the end of the world. It is also good for climbing. In that part of the island you can see a lot of cliffs over 50m heigh.

As beautiful as the pictures...in Victoria, you can buy Gozo sea salt from here that's several hundred years old! The salt pans are a marvel of nature and located at the end of a pleasant walk or drive from Marsalforn--but I recommend walking for the air.

You can get here by car. We visited on a Saturday and there was plenty of space to park and then to walk around and explore. This is a free attraction on Gozo. Salt extracted from the pans is available to purchase on site for €6-7.

Nice bit of coast to see where salt is traditionally still collected over the summer months. Really interesting to see, nice walk along the coastline while you're viewing them. There's a cafe there and public toilets. We went in off season so plenty of places to park, but could see in the summer months that it would be very busy.

A breathtaking experience. The Sanap Cliffs are more than amazing. The Majestic cliffs tower above the azure sea, offering stunning views. Amazing colours in the sea. It is a bit of a walk there or very narrow drive.

WORTH THE HYPE!! I walked here from Xlendi. It’s mostly an unpaved but well marked trail. Way better and faster than walking on the paved trail from Munxar. The trail from Munxar will also be filled with tourists.

A must visit place to experience a breath taking views of naturally formed cliffs. Remember to take a plenty of water with you as you will be exposed to scorching sun. Highly recommended.

Breathtaking views and total serenity 🌊⛰️ Sanap Cliffs completely blew us away! Less crowded than the more touristy spots, but just as — if not more — stunning. The cliffs drop straight into the sea with dramatic views that go on forever. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and just breathe. We went around sunset and it was pure magic — golden light, peaceful atmosphere, and hardly anyone around. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. There’s a walking path that’s easy and scenic, and if you’re into photography, this place is a dream. Definitely one of our favorite spots in Gozo!

The seafood was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, with the local flavors shining through. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The views of the bay added to the charm of the evening. I highly recommend the grilled octopus and the homemade desserts! Can't wait to return!

We visited this place together with a local who said this place has the best price vs food quality performance on Gozo. I don't know if it is so, but I trust our friend. So I took fish soup, it was tasty, it had fish and rice as main filling plus some other things, a solid 7.5/10 As a starte we also took Mussels and they were really good, nice garlic and vine 9/10. All table took Spaghetti Pescatore as it was suggested to us by our friend and I have to say it was great (I'm not a huge fan of pastas, but this I could eat more) it had rich seafood topping and everything was well made and tasty 9.5/10 And as a dessert I took an apple pie andb my other half took Fondant. Both were ok, well made and balanced with ice-cream. 8/10 What this place lacks is a bit better service. We asked for desserts menu 3 times (to 3 different waiters) until it was finally brought. This place has a nice terrace with view of sea. All in all, I think I would visit this place again if I'm somewhere nearby.

The restaurant is located right by the sea, offering a beautiful view from both the terrace and the outside area. The staff is friendly, and the dishes are served quickly. There’s a wide selection of wines, as well as craft beers. When it comes to the menu, I believe everyone can find something they like. The prices are similar to those in Rabat on Gozo and on Malta itself. The only downside is that when it’s full inside, it gets quite noisy and it can be hard to have a conversation.

This restaurant is near the guest house where we stayed. We went just for convenience but we ended up eating here every day because the food was good. It’s also good value for money as the portions are big. You’d better go there hungry.

Decent, big portion. Octopus starter is good, tuna salad very good it's fresh. Grilled calamari 10/10, but the disappointment comes from the seafood pasta, prawn, king prawn, shrimps and squid are all not fresh, you can taste it's the frozen ones.

We visited Qbajjar in Gozo without a reservation and were seated outside, where we could enjoy the warmth and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the mussels cooked in white wine and despite the sauce being on the salty side, the mussels themselves were absolutely fantastic. So fresh, meaty, and perfectly cooked, hands down the best mussels I had during my entire trip to Malta. Although it was listed as a starter, the portion was incredibly generous and could’ve easily passed for a main. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, and we had no trouble finding a parking space in their car park, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I’d definitely return if I’m ever back in Gozo, just maybe with a side of bread to soak up that salty (but tasty!) sauce. The deserts were nicely presented, and quite delicious.

Food was amazing. I.ordered the Venison steak and it was perfect. Great service and very welcoming staff. They took the time to explain everything in detail, from complimentary food to the meat selection and specials of the day. An excellent fine dining experience.

What a gem of a restaurant. Excellent service, sublime food and a lovely atmosphere indeed. From the sommelier to the waiting staff, the service was truly an experience. Even the bread serving is a delightful ritual - with a cart being wheeled in with the day's fresh selection of baked goods and spreads. I cannot recommend this place enough - can't wait to be back!

My wife and I had an incredible experience at L’Istorja with a really warm welcome, each and every waiter being more attentive and knowledgeable than the last. The food was exceptional, with a large selection of aged meat that I would absolutely recommend, as well as a selection of delicious local cheeses. 10/10 from start to end.

Amazing food, amazing staff and really nice atmosphere. Special shout out to Ser and the rest of the team for making our evening special. Highly recommend the prawns, and the mushroom arancini. Oh and also the warm apple cake! Would definitely come back! :)

So. Wasn't sure what to expect. But the amuse bouche was yum. The cuttlefish tagliatelle was excellent and even the raspberry rose sorbet !!!! Then there was the guinea fowl. Delicious. Very impressed.

Really nice atmosphere and food served here! You have a really nice seaview that compliments the excellent food served here. The only con to mention is some lack of interpersonal/communication skills from the service, which the female waitress serving us lacked. It felt like she didn't want to communicate with us and always had this irritated look/response. Towards the end of our meal, she came to our table to collect our plates, one of us hadn't finished eating and she seemed surprised/annoyed that we didn't want to give up our plates. I understand the restaurant was close to closing at 3pm, but there is a much better way to communicate this to the client, we were also quite expeditious in our departure, so I'm not sure what the problem was, overall she gave off quite an unpleasant interaction from the very beginning, the rest of the waitstaff however were very nice!

We had a lovely lunch here today. Unfortunately there were no tables looking out to the amazing view on arrival, but when one became available, the manager moved us. We enjoyed red snapper and chicken with walnut sauce. It was lovely and relaxing, watching the ducks and small fish swimming. A lovely atmosphere, delicious food and very relaxing.

Good food 🍲 tuna was cooked perfect. I always go there for beef tartar starter always perfect 🐄. Atmosphere is very nice. Staff is very outgoing and service is flawless 💯. Food is delivered quick even if the restaurant is full. Food presentation is also nice (don't mind my picture i was going to start eating so i messed how it was presented in the photo i uploaded unfortunately 😂)

I had a generally decent experience. The atmosphere and staff were outstanding, however some dishes we ordered were either bland or too salty. The squid ink pasta was bland and only had herb flavours. The Tuna in the tuna spaghetti was dry and looked like chicken. Lastly the vegan aubergine dish is much too salty, inedible after a few bites. The rest of the dishes were great in contrast. Overall though some dishes need improvement, I’d say the view and the ducks makes it quite worthwhile.

We had the duck breast and the calamari fritti, and both were absolutely outstanding. The duck was cooked to perfection—tender and flavourful while the calamari fritti was light, crisp, and wonderfully fresh. Equally impressive was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Exceptional food paired with exceptional service—an experience I’d highly recommend.

There MUST be more than meets the eye!This is a "no go" for those who know how real good food taste like. The spaghetti with black squid/cuttlefish tint had simply no flavour at all and we ended up chewing a tickened black sauce that had no relation with the sea. Tiny, little pieces of something that could have been anything between gum and silicone bites flavourless as well like the mentioned black colored "something". What later happened with the caramelized octopus remains a mistery: we recognized the 8 tentacles of the head- less over-coocked marine creature but not the taste neither the flavour of its meat. The glutammate sauce flavoured with honey remains the only undisputed presence of the course. After ĺhaving cordially noticed the grey-t-shirted waiter, we left with no explanation or feedback from the kitchen. Neve ever again.

Tatitas never disappoints! The food is always delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The service is outstanding – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s always such a pleasure to come here for a meal, whether for a special occasion or just a relaxed evening. A true gem that deserves more than five stars!

We ate here last year and twice this holiday in August 2025. Each time did not disappoint. Such a lovely spot in the square and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. The fish was superb, with tuna, red snapper, lampuki and lobster on offer. The pasta dishes and steak were also fabulous. There are children’s portions too, which my mum had as she’s not a big eater and they were happy to accommodate her. Also gluten free options. Highly recommend

We weren't booked in tonight, but had been a couple of nights before and were extremely impressed with both the food and the first class service, so we thought we'd give it another visit. Same result. I won't spell it out, but THIS is THE place to go. Absolutely fabulous, delicious food, attentive service and very reasonable prices for the sheer quality of the food

Everything looked cheap except for the prices. The Angus steak seemed like it came from Lidl and was still cooked poorly. Even the tiramisu was warm inside. The owner hides behind a big fake Italian mask. Would not recommend.

With a little hike, you can see such gorgeous view. Pick a less windy day, go to Gozo! Would be nice to watch sunset here as well.

Wow! The view is priceless. You can either come from Ta' Ċenċ (10 minutes on foot from the bus stop), or you can take a beautiful 3h hike from Mgarr (which we did and it was the highlight of our stay I Malta). The cliffs are just stunning.

Very nice place if you like nature and hiking. My partner and I witnessed the sunset in November, it was windy but gorgeous. I'm afraid of heights, but I managed to walk fine, but cautiously. Do keep in mind: -if you want to see the sunset, do get there ahead of time!! (as you have might have to cross privately properties) -it might not be easy to get to the cliffs (you might need to cross private property) -if you are afraid of heights, the cliffs and views might be too much/frightening

Absolutely incredible. I would recommend having a taxi bring you hear as it is probably a 15 minutes walk from the closest bus stop before you see any cliffs. The views are amazing I’ve never seen anything like it. A must visit while in Gozo.

It is absolutely one of the bleakest things I've seen in my life, sad turtles and ducks in an oil filled pond surrounded by litter. Absolute dump.

It’s a large pond with some ducks. It’s nice to go on a weekend in winter or spring. There’s is a small picnic park with some benches and tables.

Calling it a lake is far fetched, it's more like a pond. However the surrounding area has nice scenic views of the Sanap cliffs, not built up and there are a couple of trails where a nice walk can be had. There is also a quarry entrance nearby, so depending on when you go, you might see/hear big trucks going by the pothole riddled road. Good place to spend an hour if you're nearby. There are some ducks and chickens, and if the water is high enough you might also spot frogs. Its definately nicer in Winter/spring. I wouldn't bother in summer unless you're there for the hikes around the hills.

Nice spring/fall walk, many birds enjoying the small lake. One cache for geocaching fans nearby. Great views.

Beautiful nature, views over nearby cliffs are magnificent. Accessible through Kercem do not further inland after the small pond ...it's not a lake! ...as there are quarries. Heavy vehicles pass through the narrow roads too

A quite place away from the hussle bussle of the city at the remote south-west of the island. There are a number of ducks in the area and loads of scenic views. It is the only place where one can see the island of Filfla from Gozo looking at the south-east towards Malta.

This lake is a project funded by EU, which serves as a highly needed safe haven for birds and insects. If you're visiting this as a tourist, be aware that it has no special features. Just a small artificial pond with a few friendly ducks. Would skip it if short on time.

Very nice church and also the priest was young and energetic, a breath of fresh air, the problem is that the church needs a new or improved audio system as it was a bit difficult to understand the ceremony.

Wonderful small shop with wines, local jams, olives, honey, and fresh vegetables. The owner is welcoming and lovely.

Even though the wineyard is being renovated and everything happens in a small shop, the food was great (we loved the tomato paste and olive oil) and the tasting of their wines is free. Also the hostess is an interesting and funny woman that made the whole experience really enjoyable. High value products for the price. Highly recommended

This may be the most hidden of Gozo’s many gems. An incomparable experience of authentic Gozitan wine, food, history, and culture was had here. My wife and I were offered immeasurable hospitality and generosity as we were treated to Ħobż biż-żejt (bread with sweet tomato paste and olive oil), a wide variety of locally-produced red and white wine, Gozitan cheese, and gluten free sweets (my wife is celiac). As lovers of wine, we can say that this multi-generational family of grape-growers and wine-makers is producing some of the finest wine at the best prices on Gozo. Of equal quality is their homemade tomato pastes, jellies and jams, and sweet treats. Do not pass by their unassuming store front—there is excellence within.

Such a charming little store with fresh local produce, preserves, liqueur, wine, cheeses and more. Definitely go here if you’re around the area - the lady in the shop is so lovely and offered us a taste of her beautiful wines and fruit liqueurs, which were so unique and flavoursome. Go here while visiting Gozo!

We came on a Saturday afternoon, visited the farm and listened to Joseph share about the family history and experiences of running the Ta Mena Estate. It's evident that it's a hard business to run, especially with the high standards of organic production that they have. The wines and antipasti were delicious, especially the Rosé and the Gabillott (red) wines as well as the tomato paste! All around a great experience and excellent value for money!

The estate is a bit different from the winery. As of 8/31/24, the estate is undergoing renovation. However, there is a small shack by the estate entrance where you can try the wines made here along with a lot of tomatoes, paste, and other items. The hostess was very nice and let you try the wines at your own pace.

A fabulous shop selling delicious, unique local produce. We bought olives, jams and oranges from here and were so pleased with everything. The tomato paste is a must too! It was so lovely visiting a family-run shop that has been there for many years, and service was so friendly. We are so glad we came across Ta Mena!

I stopped by Sphinx Pastizzeria in Gozo and grabbed 3 cheese pastizzis, they were unreal. Perfectly flaky pastry, golden and crisp on the outside, with a warm, creamy ricotta filling that just melted in my mouth. Simple, traditional, and absolutely delicious. If you’re anywhere near Victoria, do yourself a favour and try one (or three). This place is a gem!

Really nice pastries only you get this Gozo..I call this best pastries made in haven ....best is peas fillings but the cheeses filling second to none. I tried both this will fill you up proper . Both my young girls tried the Nutella filled pastries which is the sweet version really liked it. Well worth trying..

We had a great experience at Sphinx Pastizzeria in Victoria! They offer a variety of delicious local snacks like pastizzi, arancini, and ftira — perfect for a quick and tasty bite. I should have read the reviews before coming here, as unfortunately I too faced the poor service this chain is famous for. On one of the Saint George feast days some friends and I decided to stop here on the way back to the parking lot. It was around 11:30 pm. I was surprised to see pastizzi in the display that late. I asked the employee if these were fresh. She quickly became agitated and confrontational, raising her voice. I tried to amicably defuse the situation and said that I was just asking a simple question. She kept going on, making a scene, complaining multiple times that she was here working at midnight and had to deal with questions from customers. I later thought to myself that I found her point a bit odd seeing how she chose to move literally half-way around the world and to then take this job. She continued making a scene, so I informed her that I won't be spending my money there, and I turned around, and we all walked away. I knew what she was trying to do as I've seen this before when I lived abroad for many years. Its a tactic of a certain part of the world, where they make you feel that you did something wrong so that you feel guilty and spend more. If you are a tourist or a local who is in search of real local food then do not shop at this large corporate chain that has absolutely nothing local about it. Do not give them your business, and do not accept this rude and disrespectful behavior. If you accept it then this will be the norm going forward. You are better off shopping at a real bakery in one of the villages, where ftira is not incorrectly pronounced as "fatira". To the owners of this chain, if you hire garbage then that is exactly the type of service your customers will receive.

Tatitas never disappoints! The food is always delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The service is outstanding – warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s always such a pleasure to come here for a meal, whether for a special occasion or just a relaxed evening. A true gem that deserves more than five stars!

We ate here last year and twice this holiday in August 2025. Each time did not disappoint. Such a lovely spot in the square and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. The fish was superb, with tuna, red snapper, lampuki and lobster on offer. The pasta dishes and steak were also fabulous. There are children’s portions too, which my mum had as she’s not a big eater and they were happy to accommodate her. Also gluten free options. Highly recommend

Everything looked cheap except for the prices. The Angus steak seemed like it came from Lidl and was still cooked poorly. Even the tiramisu was warm inside. The owner hides behind a big fake Italian mask. Would not recommend.

We weren't booked in tonight, but had been a couple of nights before and were extremely impressed with both the food and the first class service, so we thought we'd give it another visit. We were staying at the BLOCK hotel (which I absolutely recommend, because it has this modern, trendy and minimal look - that I prefer - with the charm of a boutique hotel) 🥰 I liked to sit outside for drinks and breakfast, and had a snack for lunch. They offer a great variation of vegetarian and vegan 🌱 choices which is right up my alley✨ The food and smoothie (you should try one. I had the beetroot carrot 🥕) was very well prepped, big and tasty.... This little spot is definitely worth being checked out. Especially by Vegans and Vegetarians because of the great choice of meals and snacks. It's fully wheel chair accessible due an elevator. It's a trendy little spot, with great quality and very fair pricing - in the more "touristy" area of Gozo. LOVE IT ❤️ Service was wonderful! Thank again, Thomas 🙂

Went here for a drink and Thursday karaoke night, and was not disappointed. Staff are attentive and friendly, and the drinks menu is extensive enough to find something for everyone. The indoor setting is quite tidy and modern, yet still warm. Even on a normal night, it does tend to get loud, as any bar inevitably does, but it definitely is one of Xlendi's nightlife spots.

This dish is called Avocado Toast, but what I received was basically bread with some garnish and a smear of green disappointment. As you can see in the photo, the avocado content was so minimal it could’ve been applied with a paintbrush. Just a faint spread across the toast — not even enough to taste. It’s hard to imagine how this qualifies as “half an avocado,” which is what the manager claimed when I raised the issue. And apparently, if you actually want to taste avocado, you’re expected to pay extra. Let’s be clear: This isn’t just misleading — it’s borderline false advertising. When a dish is named after an ingredient, that ingredient should play a starring role — not be a trace element hidden under spinach and poached eggs. If you’re genuinely craving avocado toast, this isn’t it. Unless you find joy in playing Where’s Waldo with avocado.

How have I not been here before? The atmosphere is great! Lively and warm, with attentive service and best of all, great food. I had the grass-fed burger, which I found to be delicious. The only disappointment was the sweet-potato fries. Which were overcooked and dried out. However, that's just a small thing, and won't stop me from going back soon for another great experience.

We visited this quirky little cafe after visiting the Citadel on Gozo. The service was swift and friendly. All the food we had was very nice and reasonably priced. A great little cafe to visit and enjoy a wide variety of dishes.

Came here for a quick bite and some drinks, and I gotta say we left with the biggest smile on our faces. The terrace is beautiful, accompanied by relaxing jazz music that makes you feel like you’ve traveled back in time. Such a lovely experience, if we’re ever back in Gozo, we are definitely stopping here.

I saw the menu at this bistro had many vegan options, so I went to try it. I had the Vegan Dark Chocolate mousse with strawberry compote and almond biscuit. Cafes need to offer more vegan options to meet rising consumer demand from health-conscious individuals, ethical consumers, and flexitarians. It is welcome to see businesses align with values of sustainability and animal welfare. This cafe has been running for 27 years! The decoration is like something from 100 years ago.

Nice little cafe good atmosphere and great service overall. Ham and cheese toastie for €4 around here is a great deal and tasty too! Would recommend.

This is a really nice tower in the shrubbery, just past the limestone quarries that are a characteristic part of the islandd. I recommend that you also visit the church and cliffs to see the little village and green water cave nearby at the mouth of the bay.

Some really amazing views of the rugged coast of Gozo. The tower is easily accessible and has a specifically great shot of the Fungus Rock.

The boat trip was wonderful. It made the beauty of Malta. The best experience of this place.

Super impressive place, extremely beautiful! We loved the small boat ride from the inland to the open sea through the rocks. We had wonderful fresh fish at The Azure Restaurant. And we walked to the Blue Hole just a few metres away where you can snorkel and admire all the colourful fish. It was incredible!

When in Gozo be sure to visit Dwejra , a short bus ride from Victoria bus station, Bus no. 311 ( goes every hour ). Visit the historical Tower, and take a scenic walk along the cliffs, Fungus rock is amazing ! Then head down to the Inland sea where you can take a boat ride, or have lunch at The Azure Restaurant. A must see.

A must visit for anyone coming to Gozo. The Azure window has gone unfortunately but the views are still incredible. Parking and a food truck are also available

Fungus Rock just opposite the crowded Inland Sea is a pretty calm spot worth a short walk to enjoy the beautiful scenery of rough stones, an interesting shore line with the rock as it's centerpoint and a little watch tower close by. If you want to swim you might consider the Inland Sea as the stones at Fundus Rock are pretty edgy and sharp.

Great views near where the Azure Window used to be. Worth it to climb out on the rocks and take in the sights. I guess the rock sorta looks like a fungus too.

It's truly a unique place to visit. When we visited it was quiet and to swim nearby it can only can be accessed by boat. Sea is quite deep but clear 👌 We also swam to the nearby cave.

Wonderful place ! At the extreme west of Gozo, the Fungus Rock is a lovely place to swim and a more exceptional place to practice snorkelling! A very beautiful marine life combined with a submarine cliff of few dozens of meters are creating a magical submarine landscape absolutely unmissable!!

Excellent for swimming and seeing fishes in calm water when waves are nearby from the sea. Very close to car park.

Very nice spot for swimming or snorkeling, just keep in mind that you may need special shoes as the way to get there can be difficult.

Great fun. But it comes at a small risk; while we were there, one girl slipped and got a few cuts on her leg. Slippery rocks and edgy rocks, strong tidal flows, so it's not for everyone. I loved it.

Suggestive place, plenty of free parking, you can also buy drinks and proper shoes to do down to the rocks. Not the best place to have a swim, given that the water could be not the cleanest (is like a closed bay, difficult to get rid of the dirt)

Beautiful spot for sunset

The “pool” is quite small and you can/should not visit it without sea shoes (in case you want to take a bath). The view in nice, you can climb on different cliffs and see the hole, fungus rock or other cliffs. Water looks amaizing, very wallpaperish.

Stunning location. Visited with some friends while on the island of Gozo. Walked down is easy but I would recommend water shoes as the rocks are very slippery and can be sharp. Blue Hole in Dwerja is probably the most famous scuba dive site in Gozo, and one of the most beautiful dives of the Maltese Islands. The Blue Hole is roughly 15-16 meters deep.

I went in with zero expectations and was absolutely delighted at how knowledgeable and helpful Annie, the person working here is. The information on the posters is very helpful and beautifully illustrated and the immersive experience of a virtual dive in Inland Sea - Blue Hole was really fun. If you’re visiting Dweijra it’s well worth your time <3

Stumbled across this lovely little Marine museum, where you can learn about Dwerja and go for 'a dive without getting wet' in the 3D Film room. The lady working there is very nice and answered all questions, suitable for all ages. Entry is by donations.

Absolutely worthwhile and very informative! The lady who works there is super nice, lovely, sympathetic and explains everything, shows pictures and tells stories. The film is also very well made.

A small museum with a great amount of interesting things to see and a great tourguide, and a immersive movie about the local underwater environment! Learnt new things! For best effect visit before you enjoy the surrounding area.

What a wonderful little center! We learned so much about Dwejra and the surrounding sea. There are great photos of the Azure Window over the last 100+ years. There’s also a nice video showing you what divers see underwater in the area. A very friendly and enthusiastic employee made the experience a 10! 2 euros/person very well spent.

Worth walking up way (20 minutes from the seaside)

Do yourself a favor and don’t go there. There’s nothing to see, no view, and everything is hidden. The road is in bad condition, and then you have to walk on a muddy path.

The road is not in best condition and ends up abruptly. You can continue walking past the inland sea towards the location of the fallen azure window. Be cautious when following this road at night as there is no light or guard rails with steep cliff faces.

Doesn't really exist. It's not a viewpoint, it's a dusty road that suddenly stops. Granted you can see the sun set, but there's nothing there and no phone service. Given that you can see the sun set from anywhere on the west of the island, I wouldn't recommend this.

100% recommendation, Jesper and his team are true gems 👌 I spent a week in June at this wonderful property and it was a stay I will never forget. During this time I have been able to develop my freediving skills and I have always felt safe and comfortable. It's easy to let yourself go in the truest sense of the word, relax in the water and trust their assessment of my abilities. Everything was done to cater to all my diving wishes and so I was able to do deep and technical training, cave diving, safaris and spearfishing in this short period of time. On my last day, Jesper even drove with me to a wreck since that was still on my bucket list 😇 The rooms are also really cozy and you are not only a guest, but are welcomed like part of the family, so it really feels kinda like coming home 💙 I will definitely come back since there is still so much more to discover on this beautiful island and it's waters. Thank you guys for being awesome!

Innerdive is a unique freediving school. It’s not “just” a place to get knowledge and experience with Freediving, it’s a community. Jesper is a great host that have lifelong experience to share. Gozo offers the best conditions, where you’ll find crystal clear water and beautiful caves to explore.

We booked three adventure sessions and ended up extending because it was just incredible. The full-day Comino trip with caves and the P31 wreck exceeded all expectations — diving through the wreck with Jesper was unforgettable. We also explored 8 or 9 caves, each with its own charm. After that trip, we only booked adventure sessions — they were totally worth it. Huge thanks to Niky for showing us all those secret caves! The team is professional, well-organized, and fun to be around. All instructors made us feel safe and relaxed. We’ll definitely be coming back — this place is a freediving paradise!

In short, I only became a true freediver at Innerdive. Since I came to Innerdive the first time in 2022, I keep coming back for shorter or longer stays, in Spring, Summer, Autumn and the middle of winter. And every single time I come to Gozo, I experience a new, best dive of my life, so the list of incredible memories just keeps growing. Whether that´s cave diving, exploring underwater shipwrecks, snorkelling in little bays, or depth training on the line, it just keeps being incredible. At Innerdive, I like the option of community, but for me personally, I also love having the freedom to retreat to my own space. Walking in nature, and quiet sunsets. It´s a non-judgemental, uncomplicated, beautiful place where without trying for it, I made friends for life. And with all that, my joy for freediving only grew stronger. Thank you, Jesper, I will be back in a bit!

My stay at Innerdive was truly amazing. The accommodation was great, the vibe was great, and the instructors were experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. We were max trainees 3/bouée during all depth session training which gave time for customized coaching. The adventure dives in Comino/P31 wreck and Gozo caves (incl. Cathedral) were truly the highlight of my stay. Special shoutout to Nikky, Francesco, Brie and Sander for showing us all the hidden gems around. Not to forget Ronda & Lorella who were very reactive workaways and who organized inland activities (wine tasting, clubbing...) High chances that I will be back ♥️ Thank you Innerdive !!

This was the first of these kinds of freediving holidays for me. I was super nervous when I was on the way there. I kept worrying about whether I would fit in, or if I will have issues diving. By the end of the first day there that completely disappeared and I felt completely at home. The place and the people that go through it have this ability to make you feel like you're part of the culture even if you're not diving. I also like that since you're living in the house, if you're tired after the morning dive session you can go and rest in the afternoon. In the evening there someone will always come up with something to do. The place brings together all kinds of different people but everyone seems to be on the same wavelength. It truly felt like a home Of course it's all about freediving, and I felt I improved a lot during my time there. I was taught to relax myself better. I stopped getting seasick and I reached completely new depths in a calm manner. But also there are different kinds of instructors available there, some help you relax, others encourage you to reach new limits. I find that both approaches are useful

Everything at this restaurant including location, food, staffs, service, view, plating etc. was simply flawless and outstanding. We had our table near a cave and it felt so exclusive, special and like part of nature. They had a great selection of wine (definitely recommend Maltese wines) and the prices were super reasonable given the food quality and location. We already made a reservation for the next visit. If you want to have an elevated & special evening but feel still cozy & warm, just come here.

We had dinner there. The seating by the sea and the overall atmosphere were just perfect. The food and service were excellent, and the value for money was great. We especially enjoyed the fresh ingredients and the attention to detail in every dish. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Definitely a place we'd love to visit again!

Big disappointment… I found this restaurant on tripadvisor as one of the best seafood restaurant in Gozo.. the seafood was not bad but nothing special.. mussels- small and tasteless. Same with the marinara… Service was really slow .. Overall I don’t recommend to come for dinner, maybe for couple of drinks.

As the name suggests, this establishments gives access to some really beautiful Gozo landscape views, especially in the evening when the sun is setting. We were offered some fresh bread and appetizers on the house, which were really good. The ribs were amazing, very tender and the fried potatoes substituted traditional fries in a way that surprises me that not more restaurants are doing so. The beetroot sauce was also unexpected but great (thought it was ketchup before tasting it!). Finally to finish off the night, the imqaret dessert was delectable, but we expected to have at least two imqaret, not one split diagonally. All in all, this place delivers delicious food. Will return.

Had a fantastic meal last night with friends. Booked from England and the staff were really helpful and quick to reply. The View, indeed, has a stunning view. The food was superb and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend the bruschetta with Parma ham and figs and the fresh tomatoes. The calamari was excellent. Will absolutely return next year. EXCELLENT FOOD! Really beautiful location, wonderful sunset and view of the lighthouse, the staff were really helpful and attentive. The food was really fantastic. I had the local sausage starter and the beef tagliata which were both cooked to perfection, my wife had delicious clams and mussels starter and then half rack of ribs, which was big enough. Everything about this place is amazing! From the view itself, the cute little cats around the restaurant and most importantly, the food and service is impeccable. Will definitely revisit and reserve a table on the terrace. Very important to book before. We shared the aubergine and scamorza ravioli as a started, then a ribeye and duck Breast as mains ( the sweet potato fries and seasonal veg are amazing too) and date fritters (local imqaret) for dessert. All in all a high quality dinner.

The vibe was cute, really sweet and romantic music. All our food was amazing! We also ordered the date fritters, chocolate lava cake and Maltese gelato for dessert which were all delicious! There is a beautiful view but also the option to sit inside. All the employees were nice and welcoming. Was more on the expensive side but totally worth it!

Lovely place with several restaurants and many spots where you can swim. Also live music entertainment every Monday all summer long. Beautiful walks by the seaside leading to Xwejni bay and further in. Worth a visit.

It is not impressive as others write. Ordinary coast with cafes and hotels. All of southern Europe with the same promenades, nothing special. It's true that the food in cafes is amazing.

Very nice bay on the north side of Gozo, with great eating and drinking options. There isn’t much of a beach, as is usual on Gozo, but there are plenty of places you can jump or walk into the warm sea, and roped off areas for children. We had a great afternoon here and would consider staying here in the future.

The Gozo island of Malta is a remarkable place. Maltese by birth but a English citizen since a child I’ll be giving a honest review. Gozo is a stand alone island from Malta with a verity of locations. The island is more a relaxed location which is great for exploring, relaxing, visiting and shopping. as we have a flat in Gozo I’m able to say their a fair few shopping locations including a smaller shopping centre and a Lidl’s. The experience is pleasant and rememberable and with out a doubt enjoyable. This is not a drinking holiday location but the Friday and Saturday night are entertaining and good.

I was introduced to this fine place by my friend Alex. I had never been there, and I felt so stupid that I missed so much duri g all these years. They have the finest cakes and great coffee. It is delightful decorated, and the staff is, as we say in Maltese 'Tal-genn'. If you go once, you will go again and again.

This must be one of the best hidden pearls of the island. This is from a guy that don’t particularly enjoy pies, this patisserie makes unbelievably good and delicious pies and “gateau’s”. The best I’ve ever had. The interior is very cozy and feels authentic. Would recommend!!

Very unclear how to access as a lot of land marked as “private no entry” and google maps will take you down a path closed off. You need to loop around the private land and come in from the south east side. Follow the red dots. Nice bit of history but not much to see other than the cut out structure. Lots of great views on the walk.

This is a really nice walk from the South end of these cliffs around to the corner. You can meander through small garden plots. Please respect the signs and don't mess with people's stuff. If you stay on the trail, you come to a piece of property that has a very well posted no trespassing sign and wall. If you walk out around the wall, outside this posted plot, the cave is there in the hillside. It does not look to be vandalized or ruined by people. Please keep it that way. The views are stunning and the cliffs are steep. Be careful!

The view its espectacular 👌 i recommend 100%. Need walk, use good shoes and take water with you. Its far away, and recommend visit one litle lake near, there is anfibios frog.

It is a pity that such a stunning location and historical landmark is abandoned. Recomended to visit the temple and its unique location. Amazing walk from the nearby lake with great vistas over Dwejra and beyond!

Really beautiful site. Although it's neglected and falling into ruin because it's technically on private land (enter at own risk and please be respectful!), it's well worth a visit. Dating back from 1500BC and only re discovered in the 1960's, it's hard to wrap your head around that amount of history.

A wonderfully located and affordable restaurant off the bay of Marsalforn. The food is freshly made and the menu has extensive options. The wine is served in gorgeous goblets. The service was quick! Lost stars on food only as my beef carpaccio needed a glaze and the tuna tartar needed some dressing as well. But from what I saw at other tables, the food looked fresh. Excellent shaded patio as well.

Really great restaurant in a perfect location, we just had snacks and drinks in the afternoon, overlooking the harbour. Really friendly staff and quick service And they sell Paulaner wheat beer, a nice change of pace from all the lager on Malta

Beautiful spot by the water at the mouth of the Bay. We just had a light lunch of pumpkin ravioli with homemade pasta and the pumpkin filling from pumpkins in their field (amazing) and prawn bisque soup both with fresh sourdough rolls. Exceptionally good REAL quality food. The hostess was lovely and you can tell she takes pride in what she offers.

We had an amazing experience here. The food was excellent and so was the atmosphere. We received a sorbet palette cleanser on the house which was the loveliest touch. The service was brilliant! I would highly recommend

Mediocre food. Cacio & Pepe was definitely not that, I’m afraid. Fish was ok, salad a few leaves and a tomato, but the wine was excellent. The lovely Indian waitress was the only thing that made us smile. To boot, they charged us for the ‘complimentary’ bread basket they brought without us asking. Small amount but hey, if everything else was on par we’d have been fine with it. Nice people but they need to up their game.

The atmosphere and view was beautiful, for the food it took quite a long time We were seated at 9 pm at 22:30ish the food came out. My mother and I had ordered calamari fritti, scallops and goat cheese which were from the starter menu for our main. To begin with there were only 3 scallops which In fairness I get it is a starter so I did not mind, but for taste, it was clearly not cooked well (overcooked) It was rubbery and chewy. As the calamari fritti they were just as rubbery if not more the smaller bits were a bit more manageable but not any better. They also offered us bread in the beginning, which we said yes to when it arrived We cut one open and took a taste. It was raw the taste was fine in the beginning but at the end, you get a starchy raw taste. My father and brother took rib-eye steak, and we asked if it included chips as it was not mentioned anywhere. It did not for a meal that is €32 I do not understand how you can expect someone to order a meal and only serve them a slice of meat with no sides. At the end, we were charged for the bread (so keep in mind it is not included if you go there ). Overall would not go again I personally bearly touched the food and ended up eating the last bit of meat my brother left from his rib-eye which obviously I was still hungry after

We stopped for lunch and ate on the upper terrace, which offered some shelter from the noise of the square below. The menu wasn’t bad — perhaps the stewed rabbit was the best dish and it left me quite satisfied. Prices were average.

Cozy place in Victoria. We sat at upper terrace. Nice view from top. We wanted small lunch so we ordered one to shared. Good choice cause portion is big! And it's tasty! Also good service.

Me and my friends loved this place! I very highly recommend it. I had a beer and the ribs (the sides were on the way when i made the photo). Very good choice if you want to enjoy local cuisine, prepared perfectly for a reasonable price. Waiters were very kind as well.

We waited 1h for 1 salad, pastas and it tokk chicken. The salad came unfresh and warm :/ My glass came with an insect inside The pasta and dumplings were not cooked enough. The it tokk chicken is just cordon bleu not good. The fries were not homemade. Some people came after us but were served before us. We shared our concerned and the staff said nothing. The service were not very good, we wasted a meal.

We had lunch at It Tokk today and it was fantastic. Very delicious food, very friendly service, and a beautiful location. We'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work. Best regards

Spaghetti bolognese and pizza funghi were really good! The guy who took care about our table was kind and professional :) (we were at 17:30, 6.11). 5/5 stars!!!

Basically empty when we came, sat on the upstairs terrace which had a nice view on the square below. The food was great with only the king prawns letting us down, we heavily recommend the fried rabbit and chicken it-tokk.
