Les Antilles de Jonzac is a large water park located in Jonzac, offering both indoor and outdoor attractions. The park features thrilling slides, leisure and swimming pools, as well as a sauna zone and beauty treatment spa for relaxation. Visitors can enjoy the wave machine and vast slides, making it an ideal destination regardless of the weather. Additionally, families can appreciate the various amenities such as hot tubs, saunas, cold plunge pools, and a lazy river.
Love the place!Paid 72e(2 areas) for the family (2 adults +2kids). Had great fun for a few hours. Area with sauna is more fun. Would definitely recommend! And hopefully will be able to come back;) There is a small snack bar where you can get some snack for 9e. Absolutely reasonable. Overall highly recommended place

My experience here was not one of the best. In the complex I had a nice day of fun and relax, but the structure needs to be revisited. First of all, we bought a ticket with access to the two areas but once inside nobody was checking and anyone could have access to both areas, Many points need to be cleaned because there is mold, And lastly, we didn't even have the time to take a last shower since the workers at 6:30 precise were just pushing us out while we were changing.
Francesco B — Google review
What a huge disappointment. I lost my bathing suit and expected a great boutique. They had one size and blamed it on a late delivery of an order, having driven a long way, cat and dog in a camping car I negotiated 7.50e for just a shower. They wouldn’t allow me to even dry my hair downstairs. Sharp screws sticking out in the disabled shower, cubicles and sink area filthy, it was worse than some dirty old council pool. Excuses for a busy day when I asked if there’s no cleaner. Being a retired swim teacher I’ve worked in some nasty establishments, this was an absolute disappointment, the pool I can’t talk about but clearly over priced needs à refurb, à clean and a safety check
Fiona — Google review
Very expensive for what's offered. Certain facilities were out of order. Competitive prices in comparison to Euro Disney, except for the awesome attraction rides.
Sebastien W — Google review
Lovely place to spend a great day on the swimming pool. Great zone with waves. There is also an slide thats very enjoyable. Will repeat for sure. very clean . 10/10
Iñaki — Google review
Loved the place, clean, friendly staff, the water is warm and it is safe for the little ones. The only negative thing I found was that there was not enough food available, the restaurant was all reserved and the sandwich place only had a few sandwiches left but nothing small for children except sweets. I highly recommend and would go again.

Great for families, indoor and outdoor pool. Plenty of parking

Not really fantastic... more of a swimming complex...

(Translated by Google) I really enjoyed the guided tour of the water mill. Pleasant welcome even without having reserved places. Initially an explanatory film on the history of the La Seugne river which powers the mill, then a second film on the archeology of the site, really very informative. Then welcome to the mill where cold-pressed walnut oil is made. The visit lasts 1 hour and my grandchildren aged 4 and 7 were very attentive and interested in all the explanations from Bastien the miller who was also able to answer all our questions. A must-do visit. You can also buy walnut oil and flour there.

(Translated by Google) Very interesting visit to the museum section on the Roman villa and the presentation of the miller on the water mill. Explanations on flour and walnut oil. A selection of souvenirs (flour, walnut oil, book on Jonzac, book on the Gallo-Roman villa), in the reception area. The only downside, but a big one for me, is the time spent on film, details, visuals... on archaeology (Original) Beau moulin et la visite du moulin lui-même est très intéressante avec de bonnes informations. The Moulin à vent du Cluzelet is a must-visit destination for those interested in traditional milling. The young and passionate miller has been keeping the two municipal mills alive, having received on-the-job training for six years. Visitors can explore the renovated water and wind mill, which operates identically to its original construction. The flour available for purchase on-site is used to make delicious pancakes. The visit is made even more enjoyable by the welcoming and friendly commentary provided by the miller.

Castle of Jonzac is a striking structure with a large gate and two towers. Adjacent to the gate, there are the Municipal Police and a theater. Although it's not possible to fully explore the castle, its beautiful architecture is still worth admiring. The building also houses the Town Hall and other administrative offices. While some parts may be obscured due to renovations, visitors can still appreciate its historic significance.
Not a big castle, but looks lovely. Well worth a wander round outside. It is very photogenic. Sit outside a bar nearby, take a beer and enjoy the view.

The description of the Chateau leaves out the fact that the Chateau is a local authorities council building, and not really a tourist destination.Google maps doesn't give opening or closing times or a website, just a link to French only tourist information details.
Carl P — Google review
Impressive architecture, didn't get to look inside as we had been to Jonzac's night market and so arrived too late.
Nathan B — Google review

The Hostellerie Du Coq D'Or is a refined lodging located in a prime position next to the Chateau. Its traditional rooms exude elegance, with a beautiful facade that is matched by an equally stunning interior. The 1900s-style bar and chic restaurant with a terrace offer an exquisite dining experience that is considered the best in Jonzac. The room itself is spacious and adorned with attractive furnishings, including a large bed with a comfortable mattress.
Jonzacis not all that big a place and on this particular Monday in August many of the bars, shops and restaurants were closed, we did find somewhere. The hotel is a lovely old building right next to the chateau with parking opposite. The room was lovely with a terrace and a view of the chateau.

The young lady was very polite! The woman with the glasses 🤓 was rude! The food was nothing special, only the dessert was nice!
Elisavet-Nefeli G — Google review
Nice environment and the waiter was pleasant. Value for money is where they fall short. Of the two plates we ordered we had to return, one for being undercooked and the other for being burnt.
Sebastien W — Google review
Terrible service from the old lady. From my experience, what disappointed me the most was the attitude of the owner. She acted as if she was doing us a favor by serving us, in a way that felt rude, while she seemed to believe she was being polite. The overall atmosphere gave off a sense of difficulty in communication, which made my experience in Bordeaux far less pleasant than I would have expected. In addition, while I was sitting normally in my chair without blocking the aisle, she forced me to move further out so that there would supposedly be “three meters of clearance.” As a result, I ended up sitting directly under the scorching sun, in the middle of August at midday, burning from head to toe. At the same time, the group at the next table was sitting comfortably in the aisle without anyone saying a word to them. What bothered me even more was the tone of her responses, as she even went so far as to talk to us about how she has raised her daughter. With all due respect, these things do not concern the customers and are certainly not the right way to communicate in a hospitality setting. I would have expected more courtesy and professionalism. A real shame – and honestly, I’m glad I didn’t have her as a mother.
Paris Y — Google review
We went for dinner as a group of four adults. Great location and nice friendly service, but lack of flexibility in changing a dish together with good to poor food let it down. Nice perhaps for a glass of wine but I would try elsewhere before eating here again. Maybe we were just unlucky.

Booked lunch last minute for 6, excellent. English spoken by owners supported my poor French. Menu, service & food were wonderful. Thankyou.
