Dave & Buster's Oakville is the ultimate destination for those seeking a blend of thrilling arcade action and mouthwatering American cuisine. This vibrant venue caters to families and friends alike, offering an expansive gaming area filled with diverse games, from classic skee-ball to exciting coin pushers. The atmosphere is lively, making it perfect for gatherings or casual outings.
Gathered here with some friends to watch the US Open final. The food was hot, the beer was cold and the service was attentive. The arcade has a huge variety of games - everything from classics to new releases - so there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is energetic, clean, and well-kept, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is decent and works well for a casual night out. Great spot for groups, family fun, or even a casual date night.

Our first visit to Dave & Busters - Oakville. The restaurant did not appear busy at all but a couple birthday party groups arrived during our stay. The food was prompt and we were pleased with the service/food selections. The menu is a little overwhelming given all the options. After dinner, it was a visit to the gaming floor with the kids. We were able to use all the games we wanted but there were a number of small groups of kids who would swarm things here and there. A fun visit but not something we would do often. Enjoy!

Dave & Buster’s Oakville is a fantastic place for both kids and adults to have a great time! We came here for a family outing and it didn’t disappoint. The games were a huge hit — tons of variety, from classics to newer interactive options, and everything was in good working order. The kids absolutely loved running around, collecting tickets, and choosing prizes. It’s a great mix of entertainment and energy that keeps everyone engaged. The food was surprisingly good for an arcade-style venue. We tried a bit of everything — burgers, chicken, and a few appetizers — and all of it came out fresh and hot. The drinks were great too, with a decent cocktail menu for the grownups. Portions were generous, and the service was friendly and attentive despite the busy crowd. Our server was polite and efficient, and the overall vibe was energetic but not overwhelming. They do a great job managing large groups and keeping the place clean and organized, which isn’t easy in such a busy space. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that some of the games are a bit overpriced for the amount of play you get. A few machines ate up a lot of points too quickly, which adds up fast — especially with kids eager to try everything. A little more value for the price in that area would make this a perfect spot. Still, Dave & Buster’s Oakville is a fantastic destination for a fun afternoon or evening. We’ll definitely be back — next time with even more game credits!

We booked a company event for over 70 people. There was not many gaming options for the adults but the food was exceptional. It exceeded everyone’s expectations. Kids had a blast too. Highly recommended.

I celebrated my daughter’s 10th birthday at Dave & Buster’s Oakville, and it couldn’t have gone better. My daughter and her friends had an absolute blast! We reserved the meeting room, which was the perfect size for our group of 22 children and 7 adults a mix of classmates and family friends. When we arrived, the tables were beautifully set, the fruit platter and drinks were ready to go, and the staff even allowed me to bring my own cake and small pastries. The party package, recommended by the amazing sales rep Paige Moyce, was ideal for our 2.5-hour celebration fun, organized, and just right for the kids. Our host Chris and his manager Roy went above and beyond. They checked in regularly, made sure everything ran smoothly, and handled every request with a smile, they truly put the icing on the cake. The food was perfect for the kids, cheeseburgers, pizza, fries and the adults could enjoy a drink or two as well. The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, and the entire experience felt effortless from start to finish. Highly recommend this Oakville location for any family celebration they nailed it from top to bottom!

Overall this Dave and Busters is ok. It feels smaller than the Vaughan location. Games were fun but Credits are expensive! Try to go on promo days, especially if you go with kids and they go through credits quickly.

Experience the thrill of skydiving without jumping out of an airplane at iFLY Oakville Indoor Skydiving. This indoor facility offers a safe and controlled environment for all skill levels, allowing you to float on a column of air and simulate the freefall sensation of skydiving. With professional instructors guiding you through the process, it's suitable for all ages. The venue also features an observation deck for spectators to watch the exhilarating flights.
We had an incredible time at iFLY Oakville! The facility is clean, modern, and well-organized, making it a fantastic place for the kids. The instructors were patient, professional, and made sure everyone felt safe and confident before flying. My little one had an absolute blast and forced me to buy the return package :(. The only downside was the quality of the photos and videos. For the price of the experience and the added cost of the media package, we expected sharper, high-resolution images and videos. The current quality feels subpar for such a premium activity. Upgrading the equipment would make the memories truly worth keeping! That said, we’ll definitely be coming back because the flying experience itself was unforgettable. Highly recommend iFLY Oakville, just hope they improve their media offerings soon!
Saleem A — Google review
Tried indoor skydiving at iFLY Oakville and it was an amazing experience! The team was professional, friendly, and made the whole process feel safe and exciting, even for a first-timer. The flight itself is short but packed with fun—it really gives you that skydiving rush without jumping out of a plane. The setup is clean and well organized. Only note is the price; a bit on the higher side for how quick it is. I’d definitely go more often if it were a bit more affordable. Still, a fantastic and unique adventure. Highly recommended!

My partner and I came here for my birthday outing and it was SO much fun! The staff were very friendly. Chris was our instructor and he was the coolest. He was an awesome instructor, and made the experience really enjoyable. The high fall was our favourite. We will definitely be coming back 🙂

Just came back from our second trip to this location. Staff were super friendly. They take time to explain everything. The instructor, Yousef, was amazing. He spent extra time with my child showing them how to move about. If you get a chance to buy flights at a reduced cost it much better. They're also really good about managing the extras. Low pressure and they check with the adults as they recognize they're paying for the kids. My kids love it and we'll def be back. Added bonus for location. Lots of restaurants nearby making it a great spot to fly and then grab dinner or drinks for a fun night out. We went on a Friday night and Sat night. Fri night was def less busy.

Had an amazing experience. Our instructor Jeremy went over everything we needed to know pre-flight and made sure we had a thorough understanding of the hand signals. Our group was mostly kids and he was very patient with them kept the session very fun and engaging. Definitely recommend and definitely going back again.

TLDR: aug 2025 Great staff, great instructor, great facilities, lots of free parking, super fun ! Photos videos and tshirts available afterwards! For those that want details: Absolutely amazing experience. Lots and lots of free parking and it’s all right outside the building. We walked in and were promptly and friendly greeted by the front desk staff. We checked in which was super easy. Before your “flight” you spend some time getting some instructions then get a flight suit, helmet and goggles. Eric was our instructor and he was fantastic. Very friendly, easy to understand, gives off great, fun vibes, gave multiple opportunities for Q&A. He was super Patient with kids and grownups alike. He gave the young kids just as much energy and attention as he gave to the grownups. The flight itself was amazing. Ok it took a few seconds to get used to it but each flight is approximately 1 minute ish. Once you’re positioned right, the top of the wind tunnel is the limit! Sort of. We paid extra for 2 high flying flights so that you get to go even higher. The folks with regular flights had just as great a time. I don’t think I se anyone leave that was I happy with the time. I’ve seen a lot of complaints that it’s a lot of money for such short flights. We were actually ok with it. It’s a very rare and unique experience. I’m not a rich person by any means but when we were finished I thought it was a great experience for the money. During your flights, They take video and pics for you to buy afterwards which was great. All in all an amazing experience and had a blast!! Oh, one last detail.. the photos and videos they take: not flattering lol. Not because of their equipment , it’s because they’re taking them while you’ve got 150-165 km / h winds stretching your face!! lol

Aerosports Trampoline Park is a thrilling destination for all ages, offering an array of activities to keep everyone entertained. From trampolines and obstacle courses to a climbing wall and foam pits, there's no shortage of excitement. Younger visitors can enjoy the Toddler Zone while spectators relax in lounge seating with access to Wi-Fi and big screen TVs. The Snack Shack provides healthy food options for refueling after all the fun.
Aerosports trampoline park is a great place for kids be it hosting birthday parties or taking kids for day out. We hosted one of our parties here in 2024, everyone enjoyed it. Since then this place has gone with renovations which was in progress at that time. Now in 2025 we have already been here few time and with newly renovation and addition of VR zone, kids enjoy it more. For summers they have a season pass giving kids 60 mins on every visit, which we found great and making full use of it. Their staff is great and is always on lookout to help and guide. Bibek is one of the dedicated members I met with during my visit.

This is a nice place for birthday parties Clean, not too busy and reasonable price (even for the weekend). The glow in the dark part was awesome. My son had a great birthday party here and I loved the service and kindness the team provided

Our little one came for a bday party, and it is now one of his absolute gave places! The ball pit, wall climbing over a huge air mattress, the trampoline floor, there is something for everyone! The staff is excellent!!!! Akshay who worked there was incredible, but everyone was super with the kids, and just looked like they were having fun working here. They have a special for the Summer, if you are going to come more than 3 times before Sept 1st, the Summer pass is a great deal!!!

Fantastic place, beats the competition in the area by a mile when it comes to having a birthday party there. Open and easy to work with group, better times and included options for the parties. Don't think Google allows naming competition they beat, but if it's a trampoline park in the area, go here.

Thank you, Greg and Nicole, for making our visit so special. We’ll definitely be back

This is our favourite play place to take our kids. The staff are friendly and do a great job keeping kids safe without taking away from the fun. Every time we come they always seem to have a new addition to the games/ equipment to keep things interesting. There are lots of spots around the perimeter for parents to sit and relax while also keeping their eye on their kids. My kids always have a blast.

Restaurant
Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar has been a beloved fixture in Oakville since 1992, offering diners an authentic steakhouse experience. Known for its delectable ribs, prime steaks, and sumptuous lobster dishes, this restaurant boasts a sophisticated atmosphere with warm wooden accents and stylish lighting that create an inviting space. The dining area features plush red leather booths that enhance the cozy yet upscale vibe.
Baton Rouge Grillhouse absolutely crushed it. The steak? Juicy perfection. The soup? Like a warm hug in a bowl. The dessert? I considered licking the plate but remembered I’m a grown adult (barely). And the staff? So friendly, I half-expected them to join us for dessert. For the price of the Sunday deal, I felt like I was robbing the place—except they handed me the bill with a smile. If you’re not here on a Sunday, you’re doing life wrong.

Went for a “date night” with half price wines on Thursday. No reservations and good tables available at 6 pm. Our server was Kevin and he was fabulous. Gave us lots of time to review the menu and offered some ideas on items. We shared a mixed salad with Green Goddess dressing. Loved it !! My date had the sirloin with a shrimp skewer, and a massive loaded potato. Steak always done to perfection I had the SHORT RIB SEAFOOD PAPPARDELLE ! OMG it was delicious with plenty of black tiger shrimp, massive scallops in a short rib sauce with bits of rib and porcini mushrooms. The fresh pasta was scrumptious. Our wine accompaniment was an Argentine Cabernet Sauvignon that was great at that price point. Too full for dessert, as the wine doubled for dessert. We will definitely be back !!

It’s been too long since I last came here but I’m glad I did. Sylvia was super friendly and attentive as our server and the food and drinks were all delicious. We had the ginormous pretzel with that gooey cheesy sauce and rib steak and chimichurri bavettte steak. Casual elegant decor and comfy banquet seating. Definitely coming back!

We had a great experience! Our server, Silvia, was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the menu. She was so pleasant. The appetizers were delicious, especially the cauliflower bites. I ordered the Santa fe chicken. It was really good and the portion was substantial. I usually have no trouble cleaning my plate but this time I had to ask for a take-away container! Hadn't been to Baton Rouge in a very long time but we will definitely be going back much more often now.

The place is great, the food and service is fantastic. We had a big group, bit the two waiters/ waitress did a great job. The food served quickly and correct food temperature. A good place for a group event.

I’ve always been curious about Bâton Rouge, but never had the chance to try it—until recently. My husband and I stopped in for a date night, and we were pleasantly surprised. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The host greeted us promptly and kindly showed us to our table. The service overall was decent—our server was polite and efficient, but a bit lacking in warmth and personality. While she completed everything expected of her, the interaction felt a bit impersonal, which stood out given the upscale feel of the restaurant. That said, the food more than made up for it. We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizer and both of our entrées. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The drinks were also excellent and complemented the meal well. All in all, we had a lovely evening. While the service could be slightly more engaging, the quality of the food and the overall experience still made it a night to remember. I’d definitely recommend Bâton Rouge and would be happy to return.

Update No. 2. After some time I came back. The service and the food were good. Even though the place wasn't busy and there were a lot of empty tables, we were seated in one that a piece of wood in the top wasn't there and also had some small pieces removed. This is an easy fix, however it damages the impression you can have of a place like this. Please pay attention to these details, which certainly can impact customers. Update: Came back after long time on Saturday night. We had a reservation for 7:30pm. We did not have to wait for our table. The waitress was very friendly and constantly asking how we were doing and if there was something else we wanted. The food was good without being exceptional. The prices were fair. I went with my family on last Sunday evening for dinner. Most of the restaurant was empty. The service and the food were good. The prices were not too bad.

I had a great experience at this restaurant—both the food and service were impressive. The crab cakes and mussels were outstanding, exceeding my expectations with their flavor and freshness. While the veal Marsala wasn’t quite to my taste, everything else on the menu made up for it. The real star of the night was the baked apple tart—easily a 10/10 and an absolute must-have. Overall, a well-executed meal with a few standout moments that made the visit worthwhile.

I have eaten quite a few times at Trattoria for dinner, and find the food delicious and serving sizes and portions wonderful for the price. The staff are always welcoming and attentive! But what I’d really like to focus my review on was hosting a bridal shower in the main dining space on a Sunday afternoon. Linda, the manager, was prompt with her replies and assistance in planning and organizing my event. The staff on the day of (hostess & servers) were extremely helpful! Food came out in the perfect timing, everything was delicious and to our guests’ liking, with dairy-free and full vegan options for those who needed them. Overall the event went smoothly and everyone involved did a wonderful job! Would highly recommend Trattoria Timone for your future events.

Not to be missed. Chef/Owner Mike Fronteddu leads this amazing team front and back of the house. Incredible pizzas and exquisite pastas. Trattoria Timone Ristorante consistently delivers a reliable dining experience. Having visited multiple times, the restaurant maintains a high standard of consistency, particularly in its attentive and punctual service. The dining room is typically bustling, creating a lively atmosphere, and the restrooms are always impeccably clean and well-stocked, a detail that certainly enhances the overall comfort of the visit. While Trattoria Timone offers a solid selection of Italian dishes, the menu largely features standard, familiar offerings that many consider old favourites and comfort meals. The preparations are executed well, providing a dependable and satisfying experience. However, an infusion of culinary creativity could benefit the restaurant by introducing slightly elevated menu options. This would not only appeal to diners seeking new experiences but also complement their strong foundation of beloved classics. Overall, Trattoria Timone Ristorante is a commendable choice for those seeking a consistent and well-managed dining experience with dependable service and a comfortable setting. With its established reputation for comforting and familiar Italian fare, the opportunity to introduce a few innovative or elevated dishes could truly enhance their offerings and cater to an even broader range of palates.

Browns Socialhouse Erin Mills is a vibrant restaurant and bar that offers an elevated twist on classic pub fare, including mouthwatering burgers and pizzas. This popular spot is perfect for casual hangouts with friends or romantic dates, especially during their lively weekend brunches. The atmosphere buzzes with energy, thanks to a well-stocked bar featuring an array of drink options that pair beautifully with the delicious menu items.
Great food and drinks! Highly recommend the salmon bowl and the fettuccine Alfredo. I had the fish and chips and honestly the fries were a let down even though it's hand cut and double fried. Drinks were great too. The basil grapefruit Martini is so amazing

Always a great experience here! We don’t get to get out too much these days with small kids but when we do this is one of our go to spots. Great for a date night but also family friendly. Food is always delicious and service always friendly! We will continue coming back.

Had a great dining experience here today for dinner. I ordered the blackened chicken fettuccine Alfredo and my husband ordered the beef noodle bowl. So much flavour in both of our dishes. Great environment and atmosphere. Very comfortable booths great for smaller groups and larger. I like the U shape of the larger booths.

Browns Socialhouse in Oakville/Erin Mills is a fantastic spot for casual dininh with a great patio atmostphere. I ordered the Cajun Salmon Bowl, Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Sesame Ginger Gyoza, each dish was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly with the right spice, the chicken sandwich was crispu and flavourful, and the gyoza made the perfect appertizer. Service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. If you're lookinh for a restaurant in Oakbille with tasty food and a relaxed vibe, Browns Socialhoise Erin Mills is worth a visit.

Good food, good service and decent serving size for their brunch menu. The brownie was amazing! I've tried the cheesecake oreo jar that was good but the brownie was awesome.

This place is amaze, the atmosphere and vibe is so nice! The bellinis were to die for and the desserts mmmmmmm 😋 blonde nicole was also so sweet! Awesome service 😛 will definitely be recommending this place to my friends for a cute night out!

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this location. The first dish I was served had a hair in it. Later, when I ordered juice, I discovered an insect inside the glass after I had already drunk part of it. This was extremely upsetting and caused me stomach discomfort. I tried to follow up with management but unfortunately did not receive any response. Food safety and hygiene should be taken much more seriously to protect customers. I truly hope the management addresses this issue properly so that no other customer has to go through the same experience.

There were four of us for a family celebration and we had an awesome time! Our server was great! We didn't catch her name. Long dark hair? We were in the booth in the corner at 6.30. Food was great! You were all great!

Shopping mall
Oakville Place is a spacious and upscale shopping mall with over 150 stores and services, including major anchor retailers like Hudsons Bay and LL Bean. The mall offers a wide range of fashion outlets, jewelry shops, beauty and personal care stores, home decor outlets, and electronics retailers. Visitors can also enjoy dining options at fast-food restaurants, sit-down eateries, and a diverse food court. The well-maintained environment makes it a delightful place to shop.
My wife and I visited Oakville Place last week, and we were pleasantly surprised by how charming and enjoyable our experience turned out to be. The mall has a warm, inviting atmosphere that made us feel instantly relaxed—from the tasteful décor to the gentle buzz of activity, it’s a lovely place to spend an afternoon. One of the highlights of our visit was discovering a counter offering Middle Eastern sweets and snacks. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It added a unique and delicious touch to our outing, and we’ll definitely be going back for more! Whether you're looking to shop, stroll, or just enjoy a little bite with someone special, Oakville Place is well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

In every sense this place is as good as it gets. The location, the selection of stores, huge parking space, the security. It's a well thought out place with the community at the heart of it all.

Good variety of shops and restaurants, so it’s easy to get everything done in one trip. The mall is kept clean and has a nice atmosphere, though weekends can feel a bit hectic. Overall, a reliable and enjoyable place to shop.”
James Y — Google review
This mall feels very limited when it comes to shopping. There aren’t enough options for clothes, shoes, or other items, and not many brand stores to choose from. It often seems very quiet and empty, which doesn’t create a lively or enjoyable shopping atmosphere. Overall, the experience here feels a bit dull compared to other malls.
Kaveri B — Google review
Great mall in Oakville, largest main stream mall in the area. Worth a visit.
Colin L — Google review
Nice clean mall with typical stores found in most malls. But this one definitely has more salons & phone shops! Not busy, especially suitable for people who like to avoid big crowds!
Ahsan N — Google review
This mall seriously needs to address its cooling issues. With so many large glass windows and skylights, the heat inside becomes overwhelming on warm days. Customers can choose to leave, but employees have no choice—they have to work in these conditions for hours. It’s uncomfortable, unsafe, and unfair to staff. Please prioritize proper air conditioning or shading solutions to create a safe environment for everyone.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Oakville, RioCan Centre Burloak is a delightful shopping destination that promises an enjoyable experience for all visitors. This expansive retail hub boasts a diverse array of outlet and factory stores alongside casual dining options, making it perfect for those looking to shop, eat, and unwind. While it may not have an overwhelming number of shops, each store offers unique finds—from fashion staples to household essentials—ensuring there's something for everyone.
We visited this shopping center twice. Once for a restaurant and once to visit the Home Depot. The parking lot is large and clean. I don't know how much crime (if any) there is in Burlington, ON but it felt very safe and I never once thought about leaving my car outside. Honestly, there's probably zero crime in Burlington, ON.

I just had yet another wonderful experience shopping at Laura Superstore. I walked in and was greeted immediately by Karin. I told her what I was looking for as I have a 3 day work conference this week I told her my size, the colours I like and what kind of outfits. She pulled me a whole rack of clothing (while I had to leave for a quick errand). When I returned, I tried everything on and loved everything she pulled for me. Ended up purchasing 7 pieces and have about 8 different outfits! What a pleasure to not have to wander around aimlessly trying to find stuff. Karin - you are the best! Thank you for making me feel special!!!! Laura Superstore staff never disappoint and I never leave empty-handed.
Jean C — Google review
The parking lot is a disaster. Area between Home Depot and Bath Depot has broken glass, trash and condoms. There's this giant dip between home depot and bins gone which is also strange that they designed parking there along side the driveway. No one parks there, just make it two lanes for the people coming in. There is never ending construction on the major streets alongside plaza. Ideally, it needs to be resurfaced, the pot holes fixed and cleaned up. The stores are meh at best.

There are a bunch of great businesses in this plaza. Not every deal is amazing, but there are certainly many to be had. This place will definitely get busy in the years to come. For now it's our little secret. Various outlet stores, food, shoes, kitchen stuff, just so many things to see. Major grocery store, major hardware store. Take some time and take a look around. I don't need to mention the movie cinema do I? Check it out.

This location is a wide mall. And lot of shops and parking area. Mostly most popular shops for clothes shoes, sports, dallarlama are here. Name it.

This small mall may not have a wide range of stores, but it's a hidden gem worth checking out. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. It's a great spot for finding unique items and supporting local businesses. Don't overlook this mall just because of its size - it's definitely worth a visit.

Film.Ca Cinemas

Movie theater
Film.Ca Cinemas, an independently owned and operated cinema in Oakville, offers a unique movie-watching experience with its five screens showcasing new releases, art films, and cult classics. The theater's charming old-school setup and friendly service create a welcoming community atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy a colorful snack bar offering various popcorn flavors and neat, retro gaming arcade corner. Additionally, the cinema is connected to a film school with year-round programming.
Awesome theatre! The second you walk in the door you get a huge hit of nostalgia. It's a feeling that is harder and harder to get. I'm absolutely hooked on this place. The staff are great, the theatre is nice and clean, seats and comfy. The food and snacks are also very reasonably priced! Movie ticket is $10, Popcorn, Candy & Beer for $18?! :D
David T — Google review
A classic "old days" cinema which I am so glad has been able to hold on to its place in Oakville's history but also as a memento to the classic cinema architecture. The entrance still displays the old BOX OFFICE although these days tickets are bought at the snack bar. The foyer expands into a huge, colourful and high-ceilinged area which almost transports you back to the 1930's. This theatre shows fairly contemporary films as well as classic themed days which look like a hoot. These are all at MORE than HALF THE COST of the big chains and provides a respite for seniors who enjoy an weekday early afternoon flick while the big chains are not starting until late afternoons these days. There is a huge concession also with very reasonable prices and some actual tables once inside the lobby. On the downside, the theatre seats have been well used so be prepared for that as you watch some PRE-SHOW funny but "homemade" advertising trailers. They are certainly much better than the 10-15 minutes of cookie cutter TV-style advertising we have to put up with in the big chains. Lots of parking outside even though this mall looks like it has had a make-over and will be occupied by new businesses. Great website which keeps you updated on the present and upcoming movies. GREAT LITTLE CINEMA GEM!!!!!
Doug W — Google review
A budget film theater experience it seems. Friendly staff, engaging and helpful. Clean and well maintained. But very limited concession selection...just the standard stuff. Picture quality seem very soft after two films there my guess is the projection equipment needs a tune up. Add a better selection of treats and spiff up the view and you have a nice local theater.
Ron N — Google review
I love Film.ca!! I have so many memories of growing up in Oakville, and going to watch movies here with my family and friends over the years. I’ve also attended a few private screenings / events here which were always fun! The atmosphere is so nostalgic and welcoming. The whole place feels very clean and well maintained, and the seats are comfortable. The concession offers a good variety of the classic movie theatre treats, and above all else, the prices are amazing! I am always happy to support this locally owned theatre and highly recommend coming here :)
Rio S — Google review
This place is a gem. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful (I think her name was Diane/Diana). She took the time to chat with us about showtimes, help us pick snacks, and make sure we were comfortable. Small thing, but it makes a big difference. The theatre is clean and I mean REALLY clean. The floors, the hallways, even the washrooms were well-maintained, which isn’t always a given. The seating and screens are smaller than in the big chains, but that makes it feel cozy rather than “less than.” The sound and picture quality were excellent. Sharp image, no weird echo or muffled sound, just enough bass without hurting your ears. Prices are very reasonable too. Tickets, snacks, everything felt fair. It doesn’t feel like they skimped on anything despite being “local”. This isn’t a rundown bargain basement; it’s good value with character. Also loved the atmosphere. There’s a nostalgic charm here that reminds you of simpler movie nights, but with none of the frustration (huge crowds, overpriced popcorn, etc.). All in all, if you want a movie date that feels like more than just “watch a film,” Film.Ca is worth the trip. Warm staff, clean space, solid tech, and a sense of local pride. We’ll absolutely be back.
Ajay — Google review
Like this place a lot! I’d much rather support the little guy as opposed to the Cineplex giants. Prices are fabulous and it’s never crowded. Sadly the seats aren’t the most comfortable although there is a good amount of foot room. Concession is decently priced. Popcorn is average. Overall it’s a quaint and cute experience.
Joanne K — Google review
Film.Ca is a fantastic local theatre with affordable tickets, friendly staff, and a cozy, family-friendly vibe. The seating is comfortable, and they offer a great selection of snacks. A perfect spot to enjoy the latest movies without the big-theatre crowds or prices!
Sai S — Google review
This was my and my husbands favorite place to go! The staff has ways been awesome to us. We ttended minimally monthly but now I'm scared. Too much violence happening here and I'm afraid to go anymore. I wish I understood why this theatre is such a target - shooting, firebombing. I am sad and angered that I'm afraid for my safety here now.

Tannery Park is a new and well-designed park located on the shores of Lake Ontario in Oakville. It features winding walkways perfect for strolling along the shoreline, offering beautiful views especially during sunset. The park includes an observation platform, butterfly garden, and numerous benches and chairs for visitors to relax and enjoy the picturesque views of Lake Ontario and Oakville Marina.
Beautiful park - and no need to pay for parking. Great for a stroll and ponder about your existence as you watch the sun set. You can also observe rich people travel on their boats and think about how you didn't work hard enough or pray hard enough to be born rich.

Beautiful lakeside park with some small trails. It is a perfect gateway to spend an evening to watch nature.
Mukta S — Google review
Cloudy day, I visited Tannery Park. There are wide parking lots and felt fresh air. The boat could not be seen from the marina, and only a few people were out to enjoy the scenery. Countless fallen leaves were falling, but the streets were clean and refreshing. I would recommend it as a park worth visiting.

Very beautiful park. Landscaped area with lots of picnic space. If you are looking a nice place to relax, this is highly recommended. Parking space available as well as public washrooms. May be busy. Lots of mosquitoes around stagnant water. Kids need to be watched. Opens on a marina and the lake

This park is a very nice place to either sit down, relax and enjoy the view of Lake Ontario; or, be active and walk, run, bike or skate. It is connected to Water Works Park on the west side and Sixteen Mile Creek on the east side. There are limited parking spots on both Tannery park and Water Works park. I went here on a Friday night when the weather was very windy and there were big waves in the lake, so the path to the pier was closed. There are many benches on the waterfront trail that you can sit down and enjoy the view and park is well-maintained and clean. You also can see the Toronto skyline on a good weather condition. The monument on the Tannery Hill Beacon is nice to watch and you also can enjoy the view better from up in the hill.

The Tannery Park is new and well designed, and many benches along the boardwalk so that we have a gorgeous view of the Lake Ontario and the sailing boats in and out of the Oakville Marina. The Larry Cain Trail and nature walk is OK for the kiddos and elders. There's an Observation Deck, and a few picnic tables and chairs are set for people to spend a few peaceful hours. There're many parking spots, and you may get some parking spots with shade, too.

Beautiful location for stroll along the water, alot of seating to sit and enjoy the view. The trail is short but great place for early morning coffee, reading or self reflection, very serene.

Went to the Tannery Park first. Walked along the Waterfront Trail. The trail is short. The scenery was beautiful, probably more so at the sunsets. A lot of parking spaces. A clean washrooms. Then went to the Lakeside Park. Street parking available. Clean washrooms. The Oakville Lighthouse was significant.

Lakeside Park is a beautiful, tranquil spot with lakeside trails and an 1829 residence. This park connects to the Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail and Port Dalhousie Harbour Walkway.
What a beautiful, tranquil area with amazing fresh air. The whole vibe and scenery...absolutely fantastic. Some beach areas for swimming and also enough benches to read a book under a tree or just to enjoy a quiet view of the water. People around here seem quite easy going and friendly too. Beautiful, well-kept homes in the area. This is a perfect place to spend a quiet, easy time; definitely NOT a loud music, rowdy party kind of place.

Beautifully maintained green space with stunning views of Lake Ontario, downtown Toronto, and beach access. The park stood out to me for its exceptional cleanliness and well-maintained environment. The walk to the lighthouse is something I’ll remember for a long time. We spent about an hour and a half here, walking, taking photos, enjoying the cool breeze, and exploring a few heritage buildings within the park. We were fortunate to spot a brown-tailed hawk perched on a wire fence! While we didn’t have time to visit the museum, that’s another option to explore when you visit. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for a stroll, swim, picnic, or simply enjoying nature!
Amartya G — Google review
Lakeside Park is an absolute gem, offering a stunning blend of natural beauty and tranquil ambiance. The park's centerpiece is its crystal-clear lake, which shimmers under the sunlight, reflecting the vivid blue sky and surrounding greenery. The water is so pristine that you can see the pebbles beneath, giving it an almost magical quality. Adding to the charm are the ducks and swans that gracefully glide across the lake. The park also features a quaint lighthouse that adds a touch of nostalgic beauty to the landscape. It's small but charming, standing as a quiet sentinel overlooking the lake. This spot is perfect for those seeking a moment of reflection or simply wanting to soak in the stunning surroundings. It’s has public parking right beside a museum. Whether you're taking a leisurely stroll along the shore, enjoying a picnic, or simply sitting. It’s does offer something for small kids with swings and slide. A must visit in summers!!

Lovely well-maintained park but I was sad to see a lot of the trees were marked for removal. Presumably there is a good reason for this but hopefully they will be planting new ones to replace the bigger, older trees that are being removed as they offer a lot of shade in the park. Lovely play area, museum, washroom facilities, and beach area with a nice view of the Toronto skyline. Saw some swans too!

Lakeside Park, This is the place to visit in Oakville in my opinion, and it was such a delightful atmosphere that I didn't want to leave. Picnic tables, the light house, the museum, there also is a small park. It's very scenic and this is where the history is at. Great place for those who are interested in honing in their photography skills.

Visiting the lakefront park with a view of the lighthouse and the serene lake was a truly enchanting experience. The picturesque setting offered a perfect blend of natural beauty and historical charm. As I strolled along the tranquil shores, the sight of the majestic lighthouse against the backdrop of the glistening lake took my breath away. The peaceful ambiance created a sense of tranquility and relaxation, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely walk or a moment of quiet contemplation. Whether admiring the scenic views or simply enjoying the gentle breeze off the water, this lakefront park is a hidden gem that captivates both nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike. Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Ontario, Gairloch Gardens is a serene retreat that spans over 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Originally the estate of businessman James Gairdner, this enchanting park harmoniously blends nature with art and architecture. Visitors can meander through winding paths adorned with vibrant flower beds and a stunning rose garden, all while enjoying views of a tranquil pond complete with a charming fountain.
Such a lovely garden with beautiful flowers and ponds that are well-maintained leading to a wonderful lake view. There are benches in the shade of the tree, however, no picnic table in the area. You can still bring a picnic blanket and find a spot to sit. Free public parking is close by but doesn't have a lot of slots. The parking area by the gallery is for staff only so make sure you don't drive all the way there.

One of the best parks I've been to! It's absolutely stunning, by the lake, a beautiful rose garden, just a great picnic spot. Landscapers have done a fantastic job!! Only problem is very little parking and I couldn't find a bathroom. A must visit !

Gairloch Gardens, I had the best time here. There was something almost magical about this place; the lake, the beautiful gardens, the exotic plants, and it's one of the most peaceful places that I have been to. It is a must if you want to spend some time alone, just taking a stroll or with your partner, family, friends. There was a wedding party there when I visited, it's a perfect area for wedding photos and in general to test out your photography skills.

We went around noon on April-28, mainly to see cherry blossoms. Though there are only two tree close to the park parking,it was worth the effort to experience the natural beauty. It was busy however everyone near that place were patiently waiting for their turn to click pictures. Other than cherry blossoms, this park is always worth time to visit. There is a rose garden too which will be in full bloom later in summer and then good lakefront walkway. Only one thing to note is in summers there are mosquitoes around some spots specifically the two small ponds.

Gairloch Gardens - This is a beautiful garden in the city. Parking space are limited, but we were there on a Saturday morning and there are quite a number of parking space available. Walking in the garden are very relax and comfortable. The small park is well kept in a very tidy manner, clean and easy access. There is also a rose 🌹 garden which is maintained quite beautiful. Once you get in you can smell the blossoms of the rose. The main feature in the garden is the little water pool which are the home of to he frogs, turtles and other creatures. While you are inside the garden, you will also find a small lakeshore path, its good for a walk during the sunset time. Highly recommended for families to go for a walk in the garden.

We decided to give a try here since the reviews were good and they are right! The place is amazing and beautifully designed. It wasn’t crowded much but it’s a great place to sit and relax. They are plenty of benches to be seated. You can sit on the rocks as well. Throughout the park, there are trees and waterfront is the best part. You cannot soak yourself in water but can sit in front and have fun. Kids had fun running around the trees and picking pine cones! There tons of flies around when you are seated and that’s little annoying. Take a bug bat or use a tent to get away from flies if you don’t like them. Walking area is good, should surely visit! I gave 4 rating because the parking is very small, had to wait a lot. There are no shopping or mall nearby to park and walk!

A hidden gem!! We were in the area and someone recommended and took us here to look at this beautiful garden. We went on a nice sunny-cloudy day. Such a cute and spacious place to walk into with all the vibrant flowers and the lake at the end of the garden. The garden is taken care of so well and I appreciated everything about it.

After visited the Tannery Park and the Lakeside Park, stopped here. There is a parking lot at the 1306 Lakeshore East, not very large though. A&W Canada is a fast-food establishment that specializes in root beer and offers a variety of burgers, chicken, and fries. It has a location in Oakville where the service is top-notch and the food is served fresh and hot. The meals are presented well and come in good portions. The buns are soft and have a superior taste compared to other similar restaurants. There are plenty of choices for combo meals, making it an appealing option to try out again.
I went at lunch time as it was national hotdog day. Busy but quickly served, and waited the 5 minutes I was told it would take. The server was always pleasant, despite two really rude and loud customers being unpleasant to her. 150% impressed with the service and the whistle dog were lovely.

Located in a plaza, this hidden treasure provides excellent chicken on rice and chicken shawarma wrap options. The sauces are awesome, and the prices are great. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience enjoyable.
The shawarma pizza was nothing like I've had before. Absolute perfect combination of chicken, garlic sauce, and crust. They could benefit from a good seating area and pretty interior. Besides that, it's perfect.

I visited here a couple days ago. We simply ordered panzerotti's and wings on Uber Eats. The wings were fine. The panzos we're not good at all. $15.00 for unlimited toppings seemed great. The dough was very chewy and barely baked. No option for fried but they have wings 🤔 Considering how much they charge for the toppings. The panzo should be loaded. with ingredients. There was barely anything inside of it. A one topping panzo from Pizza Pizza is better than this. Considering the reviews of their customer service, I don't expect a response. Sadly, I won't return!

Great food and amazing prices. The service was fast and friendly. I had the Daily Special which had good portions and was well priced. My son loved the pizza. He said it’s better than mommy’s. Wrong thing to say when eating with mommy, but you get the point. Come and get your food here now.

We've been ordering from Vili's since moving to Oakville in 2018. They have been consistently good and fair priced. The staff are always polite and friendly. Even their salad is good (which is saying something for a pizza place). They are also always quick. Never had to wait as long time for my order, whether pickup or delivery.

Honestly, a good local place. I order here from time to time if I want something quick and filling. Pizza's good quality too! Come here if you're looking for something plentiful for a decent cost.

I tried their Chicken Shrawana Pizza and it was really delicious. Best ever pizza shop in oakville. Go and give a shot!

Absolutely by far the best pizza. My first time ordering. I purchased a thin crust, pepperoni, salami, bacon, mozzarella, cheddar, roasted red pepper, red onion and spinach. Made to perfection.

Love their shawarma pizza. Have come back 3 times for it. Absolutely recommend this place. This place ia also called Anubis.

Steak house
If you're on the hunt for a fantastic steak experience, look no further than Chop Steakhouse & Bar. This vibrant eatery offers an enticing lunch menu featuring options like the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and prime beef dip, alongside delicious dinner starters such as Caesar salad and escargots stuffed mushrooms. Originating from Alberta, Chop made its Ontario debut near Toronto's Pearson International Airport in 2012 and has since expanded to various locations across the province including Oakville, Ottawa, and London.
What a great dining experience. Super friendly and attentive service by all the staff. Good variety on the menu for very taste. We had the stuffed mushrooms and the spring rolls to start and prime rib, rib steak, and halibut mains. Everything was cooked perfectly and it was all tasty. Sadly didn’t have room for dessert 😂

Enjoyed an impromptu Saturday night date night at Chop Steakhouse in Oakville. We made a reservation online and were promptly seated when we arrived. Our waiter was fantastic, he had great banter and made the meal so enjoyable. He also was very attentive ensuring our drinks were full and checking in to make sure we were still doing well. Cocktails were fun and tasty and the goat cheese dip was the perfect starter. I went with the avocado bowl which was delicious and so filling I had to bring half home. Hubby had the prime rib and it outdid the Keg hands down.

I had a fantastic dinner here and was so impressed by the service and food! My server, Catelyn was absolutely wonderful—she was so attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. When they found out it was my first time at this restaurant, they even brought me a complimentary appetizer, which was such a nice touch. I ordered the filet mignon steak with cauliflower rice and vegetables. They were able to accomodate my dietary needs. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and was so tender and juicy. The vegetables were still crisp and well-seasoned, which I really appreciated. The cauliflower rice was also a great, flavourful side. Overall, it was a truly amazing dining experience from start to finish. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Service and atmosphere was great! They sorted out seating immediately despite us not having a reservation. Food arrived promptly and we were given a complimentary birthday dessert. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The pasta I had was nothing special and a bit bland but the other guests said that the chicken wings and burger were delicious.

We just went to Chops for our 14th Anniversary dinner. The food was very tasty. The steak cooked to perfection. We even got complimentary deserts for our anniversary! Our server, Monique’s genuine friendliness and upbeat attitude was the icing on the cake (no pun intended).🤣🤣 Great service, great food, great atmosphere. We’ll be back and we hope Monique will be our server.

Came here for my kid’s birthday (and Thanksgiving) and everything was perfect. Food and drinks, time to receive food and drinks, atmosphere, service. Special shout out to Monica C who was probably one of the best waitresses I’ve encountered. She went out of her way to make our day special and was perfect on her checkups. I found this Chop location better than other ones I’ve visited, just has that extra oomph that makes your experience that much better. This location provides true hospitality that is missing from a lot of comparable restaurants. 5/5 experience and can’t wait to return. Hopefully Monica will be working!

Brü Restaurant is a charming spot that perfectly blends rustic charm with a vibrant atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for food and drink enthusiasts. With its inviting brick walls and wooden accents, this establishment offers a delightful menu featuring unique twists on classic pub fare, such as Hoisin Grilled Calamari and Jerk Chicken Skewers. The highlight here is undoubtedly the impressive craft beer selection, boasting six taps and over 30 bottled options—many sourced from local Ontario breweries.
We decided to check Bru out because I wanted to try the fish and chips and I have had a hard time finding somewhere in Oakville that was somewhere I would return to aside from one other one place. I ordered the Fish and Chips and my girlfriend ordered the Turkey Club to eat and ciders/beer to drink. The Fish was perfect because the batter to fish ratio was prefect and my girlfriend enjoyed Turkey Club but the fries were not consistently cooked. The service was good for the majority of the meal but although the beer came quickly the ciders ordered took longer to arrive despite being in a can and I saw about four cans pass our table ten minutes before one arrived at our table (about ten after it was ordered) and the server apologized for the delay. Overall, I think this is a good place to go for good portions and an enjoyable meal.

Incredible service, detail-oriented, great vibes and excellent food. We had such a good time here. The craft beer selection is enough to satisfy anyone’s palette and the food is oh so delicious!! It was like heaven eating here

Went on a Monday night, so as expected it wasn't that busy at all. But that didn't take away from the experience one bit. Great rustic cottage vibe to the place, and one of the best beer lists in the surrounding area. I didn't get food this time around, but I remember from an earlier visit that it was a solid offering to complement the atmosphere.

Christy was a fantastic server and human. Made our experience great. Only place that serves Bellwoods in Oakville. Order the Brisket sandwich with egg and bacon alter the trajectory of your life. The fish and chips were good too.

Good wait staff, octopus was perfectly cooked and melts in your mouth, brisket on soft potato bun was amazing. Good craft beer and dessert. My only beef was the pork chop was too salty. It was delicious, but salty, had to drink 4 glasses of water to dilute the taste

Drive-in movie theater
5 Drive-In is a classic drive-in movie theater in Oakville with three screens, offering an enduring and seasonal entertainment experience. Originally opened in 1964 with one screen, it expanded to two screens in the 1980s. Families can enjoy a nostalgic night out by bringing pillows and blankets to make their SUVs comfortable while watching movies. The admission fee includes access for two kids and two adults, allowing everyone to indulge in delicious popcorn, slurpies, and other treats from the snack bar.
First time back at the 5 Drive-In after several years! Experience like no other. It brings you back to the past, with an arcade, a diner, and soft-serve icecream. Get there early so you can grab a good parking spot!
Natalie K — Google review
5 Drive-In is such a fun and nostalgic spot! The atmosphere is perfect for a summer night, the staff is friendly, and the screen quality is great. I love being able to watch movies under the stars definitely one of my favourite weekend hangouts! Just remember to bring a manual radio, it’s so much easier than keeping your car on the whole time. And for first-timers, bring some blankets or comfy chairs if you’re not sitting inside your car, it makes the experience even better!
NOSA O — Google review
I’ve been to 5 Drive-In probably six or seven times already, and I really love this place. It creates such a cozy vibe – you can come in your own car, lie down, eat snacks, and watch movies under the open sky, which is just beautiful. They always have a great selection of movies, and the ticket price is very affordable. It’s such a fun and unique experience, and I always look forward to coming back here. Highly recommend!
Anastasiia — Google review
So much fun, we went on a Thursday where you pay per car rather than per person. Staff were friendly and went around helping some people that could not figure out how to turn off their lights. Sound and picture was good quality. We bought some snacks and the quality was great.

Fun and nostalgic experience! Oakville Drive-In is such a great spot for a cozy movie night under the stars. The screen quality is good, and the sound through the car radio is clear. The staff is helpful, and the atmosphere feels safe and family-friendly. Perfect for a fun evening with friends or family. Highly recommend bringing snacks and blankets for the full drive-in vibe.
Manisha G — Google review
Easy process from start to finish with good movie options and plenty of space to park. Love the retro drive-in vibes—it’s a fun throwback experience. Paid $24 + tax for 2 people to watch 2 movies, which is great value. Screen brightness could definitely be improved for a clearer picture. Bring your own food for the best experience.
Nick L — Google review
The entire place is like a time capsule and I absolutely love it. I've visited twice now, once a few years back to see the premier of my friend's Christmas movie 'Cup of Cheer' and again just recently to watch 'The Conjuring 4'. Get the 'layered' popcorn; you won't be disappointed -- they also have many other menu items. Staff were friendly and polite, will definitely return for many more movie nights.

Park
Nature & Parks
Lakeside Park, located along the shore of Lake Ontario in downtown Oakville, offers a delightful and marine haven with its rocky beach, open lawns, walking paths, splash pad, and playground. The park is home to two historic buildings and provides stunning views of Lake Ontario and even the distant CN Tower and downtown Toronto on clear days. It's a popular spot for leisurely strolls or picnics while also serving as an innovative showcase site in low impact design (LID).
Came here in December for a walk. this is a really nice clean park with plenty of amenities. see the map. plenty of free parking with 3 lots. the washrooms are next to the main parking lot. it is spacious and heated in the winter and they are clean. the playground is large with activities for all age groups. lots of benches to sit around. there is an off leash dog area on the east side of the park. the park is next to cobble beach with its unique red clay cobbles. fun to skip rocks. the waterfront trail connects with this park if you're cycling. there is a bike repair station along the path.
Nathalie M — Google review
I rarely give a less than 5 star review, but I got a poor impression of this place. The small red, rocky beach was unique and the playground was okay for kids, ... but it was crowded in some areas and not the best place for photography or taking a walk which was our purpose for going there. (I'm posting the few good pics I was able to get ... normally I take many.) The worst part was the terrible stench of the water that smelled like rotten fish ... and there were lots of mosquitos (the first I've seen this year)! I'm still itching from our visit this past Sunday. Even the water views were not very pleasing. I would not recommend going to this park ... There are so many nicer ones in the area that are much more scenic. 😏👎
Lorna S — Google review
We haven't been to this park in 2 years and we really missed going to this park. Not too many people visit this park 2 to 4 years a go, but when we got to visit it again, I was surprised how busy this park has become since our last visit 2 years a go. The stair waterfall connected to the splash pad no longer work but the splash pad is still enjoyable without it. The children's playground is well maintained and the paved trail is a nice place to train your child how to ride a bike. It also has a decent size picnic area. If you're going on a weekend, be there early to get a spot. Parking can also be a pain on a weekend. Also a great place to practice paddle boarding.
Jonathan C — Google review
I found out about this park at an Airbnb and it was beautiful. The air felt clear being further away from the city, water looked extremely blue, and I loved the rocks/stones on the beach. It has a nice path that you can walk or bike, a small splash for children, and barbecue pits. Great place to be at sunrise/sunset in the summer especially.
Jaime A — Google review
A wonderful place to go. Located besides Lake Ontario makes it a beautiful combination of sea and natural creatures. The lighthouse was extremely incredible around 7pm when we went to Lakeside Park. We didn’t get the chance to walk through the trail because it’s a little bit late, but we will try it out next time.
Cathy Z — Google review
What a beautiful place. Lovely clean beach, real waves that remind one of oceans and seas. Beautiful playground and splash pad. Barbecue spots I picnic areas. Park staff was constantly on the go for trash pickup. Lots of parking
Amber H — Google review
There was a park in a factory area. It was more than I expected. The west side of the park is less crowded and more laid back, with a nice view from the water. You need to see cute pebbles on the beach!
Cindy — Google review
Nice park, huge ground, children’s play area but extremely crowded today even in COVID season. Flash pads was not crowded due to cold weather. Lots of people walking with dogs. One strange thing I have noted lots of dogs were with out leashes, is it allowed? Beach was also busy. Ice cream trucks were also seen there in the parking. Lot of parking available which is free

Every single seat in the theatre is good. The front row may have you looking upward as you're stage/slightly below stage level. A nice theatre with decent acoustics. Highly recommend.....saw the AMAZING Pavlo 🎸 play here. Worth every penny and more

Front row for Classic Albums, Band on the Run, Paul McCartney and Wings. They were outstanding, absolutely brilliant. We would see them again in a heartbeat. Not a bad seat in the house , the sound was loud and clear. All the staff were extremely friendly and pleasant.

Nice theatre with comfy seating, good acoustics and an adequate sound and light system. Mic levels seemed low at times for the show we attended, but there were quite a few performers. Staff and volunteers are professional and friendly. We liked that they announced not to leave or enter the theatre during a song - just common courtesy! Will go again!

Glen Abbey Golf Club

Golf course
Public golf course
Glen Abbey Golf Club, designed by the renowned Jack Nicklaus, has hosted numerous Canadian Opens and PGA events. It's a public course, making it easily accessible without membership barriers. The club also houses a golf academy for those interested in learning the sport. Visitors can explore the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame on-site and enjoy its rich history. Whether you're an avid golfer or simply seeking a relaxing spot for brunch, Glen Abbey offers an inviting experience.
Excellent golf course. Huge championship facility with cart shuttle from the carpark to the pro shop. Semi-open parkland front 9, and then beautiful drop into the valley for the start of the back 9. The greens were cut tight and slower than they looked (and I expected) mid July, but still had good subtle breaks. Green complexes were quite good with large bunkering. The rough was very even and playable, quite short and not overly punishing. The front 9 is decent but quite flat with a few repetitive holes and some nice little water features. 3rd hole par 3 quite nice over water. Back 9 down into the valley is great, a little golfing Eden with a bubbling brook crossing fairways, and a fun little par 3 to finish before you come back up. Very unique S shaped green on 16, and then the well known 18 finish over water. Bring a spare ball to replicate Tigers shot from the bunker, cause you'll dunk it in the water. Not sure I would put this above the other Prestige clublink courses, but I appreciate having a public access option.
Alex C — Google review
Love this course. Other than the totally disinterested person picking you and your clubs up from the parking lot, the service is great and the golf course is beautiful. TY.
Simon — Google review
Did not live up to expectations. This course plays like a mid tier course at best. Course conditions are VERY average. As a Canadian golfer (after hearing so much hype about Glen Abbey), I'm a bit heartbroken. This was a bucket list course of mine, and when I finally got a chance to play here, I saw greens that were riddled with bumps (putts didn't roll true/smooth) Course and hole layouts were very mediocre. And most importantly, the way the greens would receive approach shots did not make me feel like I was playing a high end course. They were firm and dried out, wedge shots did not spin the way they should. The fairways were the redeeming quality. They were relatively soft and hitting irons off them felt nice. However, I was really hoping for more out of the infamous "Glen Abbey" Another redeeming quality was the lady working at the snack bar (beside the range) on August 4th, 2025. She was very polite and kind. Excellent service on her part. She had a lot of customers to deal with but always carried herself in a very eloquent, respectful way. I saw her patiently explaining things to everyone. Very well done on her part
The S — Google review
Course was in pretty great shape. Tough course. Greens were hard to read. We played just after 4pm and a tournament had just finished. There was no cart person throughout the round which was a bit frustrating. The holes through the valley are absolutely amazing and picturesque!
Babar K — Google review
Amazing course, best I've ever played. Very well maintained and quite challenging in a good way.
Roy K — Google review
Ray Sahi has ruined what was once a beautiful & historic golf course. 5:15+ round, no Marshalls, no beverage carts and every bunker is unplayable. Would expect far better for the prices they are charging.
Robbie F — Google review
Amazing course, lots of beautiful shots to have and restaurant is well curated.
Andrew K — Google review
Not very good value for the money they charge. Golf carts very old. We were given a cart that died in three holes. no club washers , no drink carts. Tee boxes heavily chewed up. Staff is great. Just didn't feel like i was playing a prestige course. Lots of better choices out there for this kind of money.

Lions Valley Park in Oakville is a haven for nature enthusiasts, offering a range of outdoor activities and amenities. The park boasts hilly trails, a picturesque creek, and spacious lawns perfect for picnicking. Visitors can enjoy hiking through the scenic landscape while observing diverse wildlife. Nestled beneath a major bridge, the park provides an escape from urban noise, with its playgrounds and wooden bridges adding to its natural charm.
Urban trail along a river where we saw plenty of big fish. Breathtaking views of autumnal trees, easy and short walking. Parking is in the other side of the road. Recently, during the weekend before Thanksgiving, the trail was crowded but still we enjoy the place.

Gorgeous walking trail with fall colours! Has some stairs at one spot. Limited parking! Maybe around 20 spots in total so please park up across the plaza. There’s fish in the stream. Overall a nice place to spend your afternoon and get some steps done. Thanks

Good park close by in Oakville, great hike, did the whole 7km loop in roughly 70 mins. It follows the creek all the way down to upper middle road and then back up. Lots of up and down stairs though. A portion of it was closed so you have to climb up and cross the bridge on dundas. There’s a picnic area with playground near the parking lot by dundas.
N.Y. W — Google review
Great place for a hike. The stairs are not maintained in the winter. There are some steep climbs and downhill sections. Easy to get 10km here

I love this place, great if you're looking for beautiful walk in nature. Been here in spring and summer and now it’s fall it did not disappoint. Beautiful setting for pictures I usually go for early morning walks it'svery peaceful. Parking varies based on where you're entering the park you either park under the bridge in the designated parking lot on the bottom end or the plaza parking lot if you're entering from to top. There are stairs and a steep hill if you're starting on top and can be challenging for some keep in mind you will have to go both ways. The walk is pretty easy at the river level.
Lorraine H — Google review
The place is very beautiful with some spots having falls colors already in. I have attached a picture to showcase what can be found there. You can take bicycles or walk through the trails, the trail is overall 1.5 hours by walk. Overall good experience as we had our dog who enjoyed a lot and we took lot of pictures near the spot we found fall colors. Worth visiting till next mid october.

If you're looking for a nice getaway from Oakvile, you don't have to go too far. This park is wonderful. The trail is about 2 hours of walking with a stroll along side the river. There are cool signs to read along the way and lovely views of nature. Tucked away and hidden in a little valley, you really get the sense that you're not in the city. Great place to walk your dog and enjoy time with your family. The trail isn't challenging but there are some stairs to climb along the way FYI
Mo A — Google review
Only reason I give this park a 4⭐ is because a whole portion of it is closed for construction. They will be building a bridge according to a construction worker but he didn't have a time-line. Otherwise, this park is fabulous, an oasis in Oakville! Great for a hike, a wee bit short for a bike ride, but wonderful to be in nature so close to the city. Being inside the quiet, picturesque ravine really makes you forget about the outside world. The wildlife is super cool and we even saw a beaver!!! How cool.

Paradiso is a charming restaurant with an open kitchen that serves a diverse menu featuring Greek and Italian dishes. The warm and intimate atmosphere draws inspiration from European Mediterranean cuisine, using fresh ingredients in all its offerings. The lunch menu includes appetizers paired with pasta or pizza, while the dinner menu features options like spinach & artichoke arancini, pickled pears salad, and tomato & smoked paprika soup.

My family and I had an absolutely delightful dinner at Paradiso last night. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, inviting ambiance that made for the perfect dining atmosphere. The food was truly superb - every dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in their craft, and it shows in every bite. What really made the evening special was the outstanding service. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and that genuine, pleasant smile made us feel truly welcomed and valued as guests. Paradiso has struck that perfect balance of excellent cuisine, beautiful atmosphere, and warm hospitality. We're already looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

I would rate this restaurant four stars. Upon entering, we were greeted by a pleasant and cozy ambiance. We wanted to order chicken Slovakia, which is typically part of the lunch menu, but the staff kindly accommodated our request. We enjoyed two solos and a margarita pizza, which was flavorful. Although the margarita pizza was unique and not quite to my taste, I still give this place four stars for their excellent service and willingness to accommodate us.

We came here on a Sunday evening for drinks and dinner. The restaurant is spacious and has many tables available. They also have a more private dining area at the back for private gatherings or event. The patio is closed for the season. The staff are friendly and helpful. We ordered “Butternut Squash Hummus Salad”, “Carne Pizza”, “Italian Sausage Rigatoni” and “Blackened Chicken Supreme”. We paired our food with white wine and espresso martini. The food was fresh and tasty.

Unfortunately food is not good. Very disappointing, especially with these prices. First time my children didnt like and couldnt finish spaghetti bolognese anywhere. Way to oily and heavy. Beet salad is truly bad. Crab cake is below average. Even the wine and complimentary bread was not good. Service was good though. Friendly, helpful. Probably the only good thing was the service.

This place was amazing! Such a gem. Jacqueline was extremely lovely and hospitable. The food was delicious and the menu items were so unique yet cohesive. Definitely had new foods that I had never tried but enjoyed! Their starter bread slices are delicious and one of a kind. The patio had a nice view of the city and was quiet enough to enjoy a nice chat, but also had a great busy atmosphere. There was also a dog bowl on the patio filled with water which I thought was a sweet addition. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a scrumptious bite out!!

Raising from 4 to 5 stars. I came back after couple of years. Today the service was amazing. Rosie was very attentive coming to our table several times to find out how we were doing. The food was also good. I am nicely pleased with the experience today. Raising from 3 to 4 stars. Tried it again on Sunday night (20230423). The service was a little better compared to the first time I visited this place, but still there is room for improvement. I went with my family on Saturday night (20220402) after a reservation. There were some free empty tables around us. The service level was average~low. We were advised that for some of the plates in the menu there were only two or three available. The food was good but not impressive.

This is her first class restaurant. We went to the large group of 14 people. We had one server who took care of everything at the table and she was excellent. The food was hot and delicious and the portion sizes were a little bit on the small side but very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant for small or large groups

Steak house
Oliver's Steakhouse is a luxurious dining destination that promises an unforgettable experience for all who step through its doors. This upscale establishment masterfully blends traditional steakhouse fare with modern culinary innovations, showcasing some of the rarest cuts of USDA Prime steaks alongside fresh seafood options. With a menu designed to cater to diverse palates, Oliver's has something for everyone, making it a standout choice in Ontario and beyond.
Hubs and I went for a NYE dinner here..I can see why it’s rated so highly! They had several Halal steak and lamb options (USA, Australia and Japan) we were given a little pre-appetizer of feta cheese, olives I believe it was a basil pesto dip with some warm bread to start, we had the burrata salad, surf and turf with Tenderloin upgrade, and bc there was a minor mix up with staff, they brought us a complimentary dessert. We were sharing our meal and they split it up when serving, which I thought was such a nice and considerate touch! Presentation of the food is on point, and the restaurant has a very elegant yet homely feel. Love that they gave me a little stool for my purse!! The entire dining experience was lovely with a live piano player the wait staff are so friendly and kind… just the right amount of checking in to see if you need anything throughout your meal. You can really see how everyone works as a team here like a well orchestrated performance. We’re already planning to revisit soon, highly recommended!! 5⭐️’s!

Good service and atmosphere. Steak was good but salty and also too pricey for the quantity and what it was. We had ordered the Kansas Ribeye. Caesar salad was nothing special and heavy on the dressing. Cocktails were on point though and patio seating was quite cosy.

Came here for a date night, it was a Sunday night so it wasn’t busy. I believe only a few tables were occupied with families. Really enjoyed the starters, which was this puffy cheese bread, I believe. They also serve some good pickled items, cheese, and olives. Service was attentive, and I really appreciate that they plated the mains and sides for us. Appetizers - Heirloom Tomato Salad - Steak Tartare - Fiori Di Zucca Mains - 8oz Striploin - Short Rib Wellington Sides - Truffle Mac - Garlic Mashed - Rapini Dessert - Pistachio dessert (don’t know the name, but it was delicious.) My favourite item was probably the steak tartare, least was the Short Rib Wellington.. I thought it was overcooked. The garlic mash was probably the best I’ve ever had. It was really smooth and flavourful. Overall, we did definitely leave full and I couldn’t even finish my plate. You definitely want to try a little bit of everything, which I thought we did. I’d see myself coming back to try other items.

This restaurant definitely met our expectations. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We decided to order a few items to share and the staff was very accommodating. For appetizers we had the artichoke salad and grilled calamari. For mains we had the Dover sole and Sea bream fish and added mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes. All the items were tasty and flavourful. Our meal was finished off with the pistachio dessert which was scrumptious. Great restaurant for a special occasion.

I do not recommend this restaurant and am completely astonished that it gets any 4+ reviews. The decor is the only attribute Oliver’s has. I need to say that I’ve eaten at many Michelin Star restaurants around the world and know excellent 5* food but this restaurant barely deserves a 1*. My favourite Beef Carpaccio appetizer was horrible bc the wrong grade of beef was used and the slices were thick, fatty and l had extreme difficulty cutting through the slices which means I didn’t eat much of it. I’ve been eating beef carpaccio, a favorite dish of mine for 50 years and it was the worst and wasn’t anything close to what beef carpaccio should be. Lobster Bisque practically had no lobster. Scallops were not seared and undercooked…. I began feeling sick to my stomach after eating one (asked the waiter to box up the remainder to take home, which the next day I broiled the scallops and they were fine). My guest had Lobster Gnocchi but barely any lobster on top and it had no flavour. It was a belated birthday dinner for my guest so l insisted we order dessert for him since my digestion was churning and doing somersaults after eating an undercooked scallop, so I couldn’t stomach any dessert. He was disgusted by the food and simply wanted to leave quickly but I convinced him to have a birthday dessert, which was another disaster. It took the waiter at least 30 minutes to bring my guest his dessert only to experience a chocolate stale, hard rock mere sliver of a chocolate slice that needed a knife to cut into it and neither of us had a knife…. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen and when he eventually showed up 30 minutes after that because he got busy with other new customers, it took him another 15 minutes to bring the bill. I have to say that the waiter gave preferential treatment to my male guest by cleaning off table crumbs on my guests side of the table but not my crumbs even though I paid the bill of $350 which only included one martini and one bottle of Perrier. It is obvious that this waiter didn’t show me, a female, the same respect as my male guest. Our experience was astonishing. The Chef and Owner of this establishment should be completely embarrassed …. My guest had been to Oliver’s in the past. It was my first time eating there. My guest was so disgusted he wanted us to leave without me paying the bill because we were waiting so long for the bill and the whole food experience was disgraceful !!! My guest left while l waited to pay the bill. We will never return to this establishment and won’t recommend it to anyone. The Owner and chef should be embarrassed !

Came here for dinner last night, and really loved how good everything was! Steak was one of the best I have ever had, with plenty of amazing side dish choices. Loved the steak salts it came with! The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere just makes it even better. Definitely a 10/10!!!!! Also, they gifted my husband such a thoughtful birthday gift with his zodiac sign!!!

Nice to have the restaurant still there after 10 years. Its nice decorated in Chinese traditional way restaurant, waiters and waitress dress in traditional Chinese clothing, smile and nice. Both Peking duck and Orange ducks taste nice it was before, dishes on menu is less than before, but still taste good with acceptable price, but would be expensive if you order lobster. Fried rice and noodles, esp those with seafood are delicious, fortune cookies serviced.

Good experience, lots of things I could eat with a wheat intolerance. Nice, helpful staff. Found it a bit pricy for what you got in a plate, thus the 4/5 stars, but I'd still go back.

Update: Came back after some time. The service and the food were very good again. I am greatly impressed with this restaurant. This is the first time I visited this restaurant and for sure I will come back again. The place is very nice. The waitress have impecable traditional Chinese costumes. They are very friendly and offer an excellent service. The food is delicious and served in a very nice looking way. If you plan coming I suggest to call and make a reservation. I came without having one and was lucky to get a table after waiting only few minutes.

We went to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday, we order the Peking Duck we really enjoyed the presentation and attention to detail, we also ordered noodles, fried rice, vegetables; everything was fantastic! At the end they sang happy birthday both in English and Chinese and gave my son a present plus a complimentary ice cream. It was such a great experience and a beautiful memory for all of us. Thank you for the delicious food abd excellent service!!

We went to this place for lunch and found the decor really admirable with an antique vibe. The staff are all attired in traditional costume. The place is clean and the table is formally set. We ordered the two course Peking Duck. They sounded the gong when the Peking duck came out in an antique looking cart. The server then starts carefully slicing the crispy skin. For our first course of the peking duck - the hoisin sauce is spread in a thin pancake then one adds the julienned spring onions and cucumber then the thinly slice crispy skin is added before rolling the pancake. Our choice for the second course was to have the shredded duck meat with fried rice. The Peking Duck was so mouth watering delicious. It has a savoury sweet flavour. It was a good size and enough for four people.  We also ordered the sweet and sour boneless pork and mixed vegetables. All the food was flavourful and delicious. Customer service was excellent. Update July 2022: We arrived 5 minutes early at this place but seeing the sign that says open decided to go in. The restaurant do not have a record of our online reservation, the host/manager did not give us a warm greeting, was not welcoming and seems unprepared to see early customers like us and keeps repeating that the kitchen is not yet ready. This dampened our supposed to be a nice day out but fortunately things got better when we had Stella as our server. She was amazing and has a good sense of humour. It is a delight to have someone who enjoys what she is doing and gives positive energy. She has excellent people skills. Aside from our favourite Peking Duck, we also ordered Seafood Hot and Sour Soup,  Pork and Vegetable Spring Rolls, Buddha Delight (Mixed Chinese Vegetables and Assorted Mushrooms) and Crispy O.K. Beef. As always food was excellent, so enjoyable and so tasteful.

Went there with friends on Friday. Found a worm moving in the broccoli in the vegetable and fried noodles we ordered. We showed the waiters. The first waiter was shocked. Then the rest of the staff appeared. One waitress took the plate away and brought it back telling us it was one of the noodles. We told her cooked noodles don’t move. We refused to pay for the dish. They gave us a hard time. Needless to say no tip was left and they’ve lost good customers. Beware….

Asian fusion restaurant
August 8 Oakville is a casual dining establishment that offers an extensive menu of unlimited dim sum, sushi, teppanyaki, and udon dishes. This Asian fusion restaurant is highly regarded for its wholesome and refreshing culinary offerings. The delectable and succulent dishes provided are a true treat for the taste buds. With a wide range of savory and sweet options available, diners can expect to have their palates invigorated.
Came here with friends for dinner and loved it. The menu options are fantastic and the food was just as impressive. Some of the best dishes are limited, which is a bit unfortunate but maybe that’s what makes them so special. Service was great, the sashimi was fresh and flavorful, and the scallops were outstanding! 🤤 Would definitely come again.
Yuhui S — Google review
It was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was not very happy with my visit. They need to include more Gluten-Free options as well. I asked for hot water and there was a food mark on my glass. It is important to note that the utensils has to be served clean and in good condition. Overall, our server communicated in a professional manner and provided us with good customer service.
Namarpreet S — Google review
Came here for the AYCE lunch. There are a lot of choices and everything was good. It’s nice that they have many dim sum options to keep things interesting. The portions are not overly large so can really sample everything. Aside from the rolls which u get 6pcs. If u are by yourself it may be a bit much. Food comes out rather quickly. And the service is very efficient and friendly. Highly recommend! Just keep in mind for kids it is age x $2
Pete L — Google review
First time here for dinner and my partner and I really enjoyed it. Loved the variety of the dishes and enjoyed that you could order smaller portions of sushi rolls - for example 3-4 pieces instead of the 6 that most Ayce places offer. Also had the best dessert for an ayce place. It’s true that the food comes out on the slower side - however everything was fresh and you could tell it was not sitting out waiting for someone to order it like some other places. It was also nice that they have a tab at the bottom of the iPad for gluten free dishes/ gluten free modifications. We loved it and are making it our new go to for all you can eat sushi.

I’ve been to August 8 multiple times, but this visit was truly exceptional. Ruby went above and beyond in serving us — she was attentive, warm, and genuinely caring. She checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed, and her service was not only fast but thoughtful. She even offered to take photos for us, and captured such lovely moments. Her friendliness and bright energy made our dining experience extra special. Ruby is truly a gem, and she made us feel so welcomed and valued as guests.
Mary C — Google review
We loved this place so much, we came back twice in one week. What set this place apart from other all you can eat places were the size of the maki's, how thick their sashimi pieces are, the massive sushi tacos, and the dessert selection. This place is NOT stingy at all! I also had a mentality that any all you can eat place wouldn't have the best tasting dim sum, but I was really impressed. I wish I took more photos but I was too busy enjoying the food!
Alana C — Google review
We visited August 8 for lunch on Mother’s Day. As it was a special occasion, they were serving only dinner menu at dinner prices (even for lunch). This was a bit disappointing as it’s not listed on their website anywhere. Our reservation was for 3pm. It was fully crowded when we went there. No one from the restaurant was present at the reception desk. After waiting for some time, I had to get hold of someone myself and tell them that I have a reservation. Finally after 10 mins, we got a table. We ordered multiple items from the menu. The quality of food is great. The only bad thing was, I found a hair strand in the mango pudding. The portions are small which means you can try multiple items. The drinks are not part of the AYCE menu. The items we liked: Miso Soup, Seaweed Salad, Deep fried Shrimp Rolls, Scallop Tempura, Chive/Shrimp Dumplings, Steamed Curry Squid, Daikon Spicy Salmon, Torched Red Dragon Roll, Spicy Salmon Pizza, Cajun Coconut Shrimp, Seafood Udon Soup, Yam Tempura Hand Roll, Dynamite Hand Roll, Princess Roll, Chicken Skewers, Sponge Cake and Mango Pudding. The items we didn't like much: Edamame, Veggie Spring Roll, All of the tacos, Deep fried Chicken Dumplings, Salmon Teriyaki and Tiramisu. The service is a bit slow and could be improved. Our server was super nice and friendly. There’s a seating time limit of 1.5 hours which is not strictly enforced though. If you pay via credit card, there is a processing fee of 2.4%. There is no such processing charge on debit card. You could get a 5% discount if payment is done via cash. Overall, it’s a nice restaurant. I would definitely recommend everyone to go there but with an advanced reservation.
Neeraj G — Google review
Great Flavors but Disappointing Service and Quality Issues We visited August 8 in Oakville for dinner and had high hopes based on the variety of options available. The shrimp dumplings and salmon tataki bowl were flavorful and fresh. The chicken pan-fried udon, however, was a letdown. The chicken was over-fried, making it rubbery and chewy, which really took away from the dish. One major issue was the service, which was exceptionally slow. It wasn’t clear whether the restaurant was understaffed or just overwhelmed, but it affected the overall dining experience significantly. Another disappointment was the wasabi. It had an unusual soapy smell and lacked the usual sharp, clean kick you expect. I asked the server to replace it, but the second serving tasted the same. It made it nearly impossible to enjoy the sushi the way I normally would. Overall, the food had potential, but the quality inconsistencies and service delays left me underwhelmed.

I visited Coronation Park for the first time and absolutely loved it! This park has everything you could ask for—a vast open space, a lively beach where you can sit back and enjoy the soothing waves, and plenty of amenities. While the beach is unsupervised, it feels perfectly serene to just relax and watch the water. For those looking for some activity, there’s a volleyball court and an excellent trail perfect for biking or a leisurely walk. The park also offers ample parking, a theater, a kids' playground, and even an ice cream shop to treat yourself after a day full of activities. Very beautiful park. Clean & quiet. The beach is covered with stones. Free parking. Medium park with medium size parking lot. 60 - 70 cars can park there. Restrooms & Icecream shop are closed during winter. Have playground. Afew benches at the beach. NOT the picnic benches. The beach is unsupervised so you can swim with your own risk. Liked the place.

The beach is so gorgeous, and we can see the Toronto skyline. Water is clear, and there are lots of stones of different colors and shapes. There are plenty of parking spots on both sides of the park. Well maintained restrooms, splash pads, playgrounds, picnic areas, tables, and benches are all good for a family day over there. There's a stage at the west end of the parking lot, which is good for any public entertainment or school events, too. It's such an ideal place to be chilled in summertime.

We went to the coronation park with a few family friends and had a great time. The stones at the beach fascinated the kids as they were mostly flat. We celebrated a birthday there with a small cake and everyone loved it. Great place to have a picnic, enjoy the lake view and unwind.

Nestled next to a charming marina, the Oakville Lighthouse is a delightful piece of history dating back to 1888. This quaint hexagonal wooden tower offers visitors a serene spot to unwind and soak in breathtaking sunset views by the water's edge. While it may not be an official museum, its inviting presence makes it a must-see feature in the area.

Beautiful place, lighthouse is small compared to other lighthouses. You can see different colours in lake from lake front to deep view, boating is available and there’s a way to walk through the lake having spectacular view of CN Tower. Easy to access and if you bring your own scooter or bicycle is easy to see around.

Beautiful! Although in pictures the lighthouse looks pretty big it’s quite average sized you can’t really go inside it or anything. However the area around is beautiful and like a smaller coastal city. There’s also boats in the area and areas to have picnics and just walk around.

**Review:** My family had a wonderful time at this beach. It's a small beach located in a city called Brunt. The city itself is very clean, and so is the beach. There are good seating areas, a nice view, and a pleasant path for walking. It's a great place for a relaxing family outing!

I recently visited this waterfront park with my family for the first time, and overall, it was an enjoyable experience. We had a group of 20, and the park provided plenty of space and amenities for everyone to have a good time. The Good: • The park is well-equipped with picnic tables and some shaded areas, making it perfect for family gatherings and picnics. • There are numerous benches throughout the park, offering plenty of spots to sit and relax. • The walking paths are spacious, and it was delightful to stroll along the waterfront and watch the boats. • One of my favorite features was the Adirondack chairs along the water. They offer a fantastic view and allow you to fully enjoy the ambiance of the waterfront. The Not-So-Good: • Finding parking was quite challenging. The park needs more parking spots to accommodate visitors, especially during peak times. • The washroom facilities were disappointing. The washrooms , both the exterior and interior were dirty and in need of cleaning. This was a bit of a letdown, especially considering the otherwise pleasant experience. Overall, it is a great spot for a family outing, with beautiful views and ample seating. If the parking situation and cleanliness of the washroom facilities were improved, it would be an even better experience. We had a wonderful time, and I would recommend it to others with the hope that these issues are addressed. I do love that they have a water fill up station. This was a big bonus.

Beautiful park with great view. Enjoyed the Latino fest which happened to be on same weekend we visited. Plenty of parking available but can be tough if visiting on a day an event is happening.

The atmosphere in this area is absolutely delightful. It is a pristine place. Just walking around or sitting on a bench can bring one much peace and tranquility. This is a "must-see" area.

It was not very busy on a Saturday morning. Plenty parking spaces. The weather was beautiful. Visited both the Bronte Beach Park and the Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park. The lake view, the blue sky, water, white cloud, boats, birds, were spectacular. The Bronte Beach smelled. Liked the benches along the Bronte Harbour and the street lights, they must be beautiful in the evening.

It is a beautiful park, not very crowded. It is clean. I really hope to see it remain that way!

Perfect for a family walk with very beautiful view and cold breeze. Especially evenings on a sunny day as it's so nice to get a sun bath with many wind gusting on you. Just be a little careful if you have kids on the open side of the walkway which is not fenced.

REUNION Bistro, formerly known as La Parisienne, is a charming husband-and-wife-run café nestled in Bronte Harbour, Oakville. This delightful eatery specializes in an impressive selection of both sweet and savory French-style crêpes, crafted with fresh ingredients sourced from local growers whenever possible. The cozy atmosphere invites you to relax while enjoying a meal that feels like a warm embrace from home.
OMG! I can’t thank my French friend Francois enough for recommending us this place! Food is amazing, the restaurant is a little piece of France and the staff is great. Sylvia knows what customer service is. She was very friendly and was always checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. My husband and I are definitely going back. We got a French onion soup, the Normande baked crepe and the Napoleon for dessert. I can’t tell which one was better… We can’t wait to go back and try the other ones. Pictures by @melhorfoods

Small personal restaurant with cozy feeling. The food fresh and delicious; how ever there is a sufficient amount of waiting period so plan to spend some quality time at the restaurant. The servers were friendly and guides you to their special and popular meals. Would highly recommend the dish that's baked in casserole. The coffee was a bit too strong and acidic for me but if you like dark and strong coffee then this is the cup for you. I would recommend this restaurant for a nice date (not a quick date)and would visit here again.

We have been here several times and it never disappoints. Lovely menu options, something for everyone. The food was absolutely delicious! Very flavorful and well cooked. From the mimosas to the crepes to the coffees. Just delicious. Looking forward to visiting their new location in Hamilton.

Amazing atmosphere, authentic food and great service. What a lovely spot! Feels like you are in Paris! So nice that they are able to do a gf buckwheat crepe that is also lactose free - for those with dietary restrictions such as myself. Definitely the best crepes in town!

I had a wonderful time today! It was my first time out after the lockdown and I'm glad I chose this restaurant. I ordered the taste of oakville lunch menu which included a french onion soup and a crepe. The soup was excellent! The crepe was a perfect mix of flavours. The restaurant itself is beautiful and I felt like I was in a cafe in Paris, especially with the french music in the background. Staff was attentive and professional. When I had questions about the menu, the waitress was very helpful and descriptive. They also followed the covid-19 protocols which made me feel safe dining in. overall 10/10, would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family

Nice little place in Oakville. Was excited to try it and was pleased. I ordered the Salmon Benedict crepe. The crepe was slightly overcooked and dry on the outer edges, but everything else was great. The hollandaise was very thick, but it worked with the chewy parts of the crepe. The eggs were perfectly cooked also. The place was nice and the staff was friendly. However, the decor, the music and atmosphere seemed like they were getting too hard to be Parisian, which ended up having the opposite effect. Would return though to try their other crepes and Croque Monsieur.

Fantastic crepes!!! The atmosphere was very cozy and the service was excellent. What we got: Normande - delicious and warm melted cheese!! Saint Tropez - in a crepe version is good and fresh Royale - good combination with the chocolate and nuts Pomme Caramel - FANTASTIC! Warm apple filling with a delicious house salted caramel and ice cream are a delicious combination!!! Overall, definitely a place to go back and bring family and friends! They are quite busy so ale make sure to book reservations.

Bronte Creek Provincial Park, part of the Ontario Parks System, offers a variety of activities such as biking, birding, fishing, and hiking. Visitors can explore a restored farmhouse and nature center showcasing agriculture with farm animals and crops. The park provides camping options as well as yurts for accommodation. Hikers can choose from five trails including Maidens Blush Trail which is great for bird watching.
We enjoyed Bronte Creek because it'd an awesome open area . It's a good and clean provincial park , they'd a barn style playground and some animals you can even feed them at 25cents * theres machines at the location and the kids can enjoy some extra contact with animals in a fun and cute way by feeding the goats . There's a lot of washrooms so make easy to bring kids even younger ones, pregnant and even wheelchairs accessible too. You can enjoy fall colours easy too. You can bring strollers / wagoons and enjoy your own snack at the snack room inside the barn playground theres an space for snack . The trails are very clean and easy to do it with kids too. You can bring your pets too Its a good place to enjoy with your family . We loved our experience .

I visited a wonderful conservation area with well-maintained trails and attractions like the restored 100-year-old Spruce Lane Farmhouse, showcasing life in the 1900s. The farm had goats, sheep, and rabbits, plus a playground for kids. Though the swimming pool was closed for renovation, the nature center with turtles and snakes was fascinating. Clean washrooms made the visit even better! I truly enjoyed myself. 😊

This is a very accessible park east of Toronto. Very friendly staff. Facilities were very clean. The tent pitch was well maintained with a fire pit and seated bench. Local electrical supplies were available with a 30A connector and standard 15A 110Vac connectors. The pitch also gives you free access to the provincial park, which is a short drive away. There is some traffic noise, but suspect the rear tent pitches are more sheltered from this. Overall, it was great value and perfectly placed for trips to Niagara or Toronto. Bronte and Oakville are also close by and are extremely scenic areas to grab coffee and walk along the shore side.

Great provincial park in the middle of the city. Plenty of parking, accessible and lots of things to see and do. March is maple festival time. Day use is $18 per vehicle and includes entrance to the maple festival. Great for kids and adults. There is a small farm which you can see and an old house/museum. Place has a seasonal camp area but open the whole year for trekking.

One of my best cycling parks. It is well maintained and organized with designated car parking zones and maintained eating areas. Full of lots of terrain for mountain biking and cycling. Also hiking terrains to river beds and fishing. Farm for the children with some two and four legged friends. Has lots of activities going on through the year. Great experience for individuals and family

This park is a gem for camping and day picnic located in heart of the city. You never imagine you can find a very peaceful and beautiful place right in the buzz of city. Its located off QEW in Oackville and it is huge in terms of green space. We used the day pass and were amazed by the nature and how huge the spce is. You can easily find a quiet picnic spot with lots of benches and washrooms close by. There are a couple fun activities included as well, like the barn and the pool which was still closed, for kids and families. There is also plenty of small playgrounds close to each picnic section for kids. The trails are super nice for hikers and bikers. The parking spce is also very spacious and easy to find a spot. The only thing is washrooms could be cleaner as you pay for a pass and its not free, this raises the expectations of cleanliness. Overall, the picnic areaswere super clean. Overall, this was a super fun picnic exerience we had and I will be coming back here soon.

Bronte Creek Park is huge, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts for a fun family day out. The park has numerous great picnic spots, well-maintained camping sites, and a variety of trails suitable for hiking and cycling. Families can enjoy fishing, exploring the park's beautiful scenery, and visiting the farm where children can engage with animals. Kids will love the playground and the barn, while adults can relax and take in the natural beauty. With its wide range of activities, Bronte Creek offers something for everyone.

Visited in late September and unfortunately a few of the highlights were closed. We knew the pool is closed so no big deal. But both the Nature center and the farm house were closed, so a bit disappointing. The park itself is very nice with cool hiking options. There are few farm animals that are friendly and cute, goats, sheep, lamb, pigs, bunnies.. all great. Plenty of parking and clean washrooms. The play area in the barn was a great success and is great for kids 3-10.

Plank Restobar, located on Augusta Street, is a trendy spot offering seasonal small plates, gourmet pizza, and bourbon drinks in a rustic setting with vintage signage. The restaurant's rooftop patio, known as 'The Rooftop,' provides stunning city views and a new food menu. Plank focuses on chef-inspired dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and offers an ambiance characterized by great music and a fine selection of beers, wines, and bourbons.
Great variety of American Tapas style options, atmosphere was very casual but quite busy on a Sunday evening. Service was incredibly friendly and made the experience overall memorable and pleasant. We ordered the poke bowl & duck poutine and I was pleased with portion size. I would definitely visit again to try some other menu items.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem on the Oakville Waterfront We decided to try Plank Restobar in Oakville with the family, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we've had in a while. The location is unbeatable—right next to the waterfront, with a cozy, rustic ambience that immediately sets the mood. The interior is full of vintage charm, with eye-catching signs scattered throughout, including my personal favorite: a classic Coca-Cola sign that added a nostalgic touch. From the moment we walked in, our host Ty made us feel welcome. He suggested we start with a few appetizers and decide on mains afterward—a recommendation that paid off. We began with the salmon, which was exceptional: fresh, tender, and beautifully seasoned. The shrimp came next—slightly firm, but the sauce was so flavorful it more than made up for it. Then came the ravioli meatballs and the Pao Bao buns, both of which were packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Even though everyone claimed to be full, we couldn’t resist ordering the Margherita pizza with a cheesy jalapeño dip. It arrived hot and fresh, with a juicy base and just the right amount of kick. It was gone in minutes. The food was consistently impressive, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and Ty’s service was top-notch. Plank Restobar is a must-visit if you're in Oakville—great for families, date nights, or just a relaxed evening by the lake.

Had a lovely dinner with the family sitting in the patio. Service was great. Food was delicious and had generous portion size. We ordered a number of tapas and pasta entree for the 4 of us to share and we were stuffed!! We arrived just before the dinner rush on a Saturday night so no wait for us. But when we left the restaurant was packed and there was a wait. Recommend reservations if acceptable or go early.

Wow, this restaurant was really wonderful!! We had such great service & the food is delicious!! The cauliflower fritters were SO GOOD & we were quite amazed at the size of them & just how tasty they were!! Highly recommend the Fresca Salad as well, which was really flavorful (loved the mint, mango & watermelon combination)!! And the Rose Garden Pizza too, which my grandmother ordered & I was lucky she let me "steal" a couple of pieces lol Very delicious!! Everything was fresh & tasty!! And the atmosphere was truly charming. Servers were friendly & the margaritas were excellent!! Overall a great place!! Will for sure be back again!!

This place is interesting I had the risotto and some ditaliano pizza mind you I think this restaurant was an American styled bar and grill. The pizza was great perfect temperature the sauce was savoury and the ingredients were nicely complementing each other overall a great pizza. The risotto had some flaws it had a great balanced texture and it was cooked perfectly however, the saltines of the cheese didn’t go well with the dish and the simplicity of the lettuce didn’t suit the plate either. We were seated and served with great care, and the plates got to the table fairly quick. The aura of the place is a lot like any other American bar and grill however structured in such a way that made it quite cozy the problem with this is that when there’s a lot of people the place can get really loud making it hard to talk because all the sound is bouncing off the walls making everyone speak louder and louder to communicate to those around you. What I think could really take this place to the next level is a little re arranging and having more appropriate dishes to choose from. Overall I think this place isn’t bad at all to go to if you are walking by or in the area.

Visited for the very first time on a weeknight and fell in love with the food. It was super packed for a Thursday night and I was glad I had made a reservation. We chose to sit at the patio, even though it was cloudy. Every item we ordered was delicious. Our most favorite was the Fresca salad. The Bao buns were melting soft! And the whip it good was perfect! The Salmon torch blow could be better. Definitely coming back!

A true all tell of a great Italian reataurant. The people are great, the food is delicious, and the experience leaves you with a smile. We went out for a Lebanese Mother’s day and the family enjoyed it. Our server Gary was excellent and accomodating for all our needs in regards to Halal and sensitive matters such as alcohol and gelatine in the food and desserts. I was also happy to hear they had halal options for the mains. Definitely worth a visit back.

Amazing evening at Cucci tonight. I called in advance about some food intolerances and as we arrived our server Gary was already on top of it. He split every order to accommodate, which was very thoughtful. Every dish that came out was so well thought out, beautifully plated, delicious and obviously fresh. We had the Cascumpec oysters, beet salad, beef carpaccio, rigatoni and rack of lamb. Gary recommended two different craft Italian beers (must try) and a Brunello wine that paired perfectly. We'll be thinking of the next time we dine there as we'll definitely be back. You can even see my girlfriend praying for it to not end in the last photo.

🥗BUTTER LETUCE. THE SAUCE OF THE SALAD IS SWEET AND SOUR AND VERY APPETISING. 🐮BEEF TARTARE. I will order beef tarts wherever I go. The seasoning is regular. If chop the meat a little more would be better. It's matched with garlic butter fermented bread slices. Very tasty! 🦆PASTA DI GIORNO Duck Meatballs. This dish is not on the menu. The daily special introduced by the waiter took into account the purpose of wanting to eat duck and pasta, so I ordered this. In addition to the pasta, it can be cooked for a while. Overall, it is not satisfactory. Mom also said it was delicious. 🍮TIRAMISU, the end of the regular tiramisu. You could try something else. 🍸The wine part is ordered. MR YUZU HIMSELF Fresh strawberry embellished pineapple grapefruit-flavored rum sweet and sour delicious PINK STILETTO grapefruit-flavored vodka is a little larger than the previous glass of alcohol, but it's still good. ✨The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good for dates & Birthdays in summer. The patio also has a beautiful scenery. If you don't order wine, it's less than $50 per person. I think it's very cost-effective. I'll be back whenever I got chance~

Domino's Pizza is a popular delivery and carryout chain known for its extensive selection of pizzas and diverse menu options. Despite some negative ratings, the overall experience appears positive with clean facilities, friendly staff, and delicious pizza. The establishment is also recognized for its efficiency in delivering quick and reliable service. However, there have been occasional instances where comments from online or app orders were not properly acknowledged. Notably, customers particularly enjoy the pizza with Alfredo sauce at certain branches while praising the exceptional staff.

La Dolce Vita, located in Oakville, Ontario, is a charming restaurant known for its cozy atmosphere and authentic Italian cuisine. The establishment offers an extensive selection of wines and is perfect for intimate dinners or casual meals with friends. In addition to their famous gelato, the cafe also serves smooth espresso, Italian sodas, gelato frappes, and vegan chocolate mochas.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Dolce Vita is a hidden gem in Oakville! Their gelato is absolutely delicious – creamy, rich, and full of real flavor. The coffee is top-notch. The staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot to relax with friends or treat yourself on a sunny day. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality treats and great service!

La Dolce Vita truly lives up to its name! Their gelato is rich, creamy, and full of authentic flavor. I tried the pistachio and hazelnut — both were smooth and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet. The portions are generous, and the staff is super friendly and patient when you want to sample before deciding.
Jessie Q — Google review
I absolutely love this place! High-quality Italian gelato and some of the best coffee in town. It gets pretty busy on hot days, but it’s totally worth the wait. What makes it special is that they don’t use regular dairy — everything’s made with oat milk, and honestly, their latte is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The pistachio gelato is a must-try, creamy, and packed with flavor. Highly recommend giving it a visit if you’re in the area!
Alia K — Google review
Edit: The La Dolce Vita team lives up to their promise for everyone to leave happy. They invited me back to have Oakville’s best milkshake which was truly a kind gesture. I went back with my 4 kids, niece and cousin so it was a family affair and enjoyed every scoop! If you go there as often as I do (weekly 😊) I highly recommend being part of their points program so you can get a FREE MEDIUM (3 Scoops) every few visits! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So I truly love this place because it’s all vegan and I don’t have to double check anything. The flavours are all devious and I make it a weekly thing to visit with me and my 4 kids - so imagine how many scoops we go through in a season 😂. But I came by for our first visit of the season and I wasn’t feeling like having a cone so I opted for a milkshake. I’ve had them before which is why I had no problem deciding. But when receiving mine, I was really disappointed. For paying $10+ on a regular sized milkshake you’d think it would atleast be filled to the brim. But mine was not even touching it, and it looks like it was just wiped down with a wet cloth. I was with my daughter and we had to leave to head to another event so I had no time to say anything. I’ve had their milkshakes where it would go past the brim and it’s so think it would just stay peaked and they would put the lid on. So you would understand why I’d be disappointed when receiving something not consistent with what I’ve had before.

Finally tried La Dolce Vita Gelato in Oakville, and it was a lovely first visit! We went with the Piemonte Hazelnut and Chocolate Hazelnut, both classics, and they were rich, creamy, and delicious. While I personally found them a bit sweeter than other gelatos I’ve tried, it’s still a treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. Customer service was great and well-organized, even at the end of the day. The selection is impressive with lots of flavors to choose from. Overall, a delightful experience — just a bit pricey for cup size & the quality you get.

Tried Affogato with Vanilla ice-cream, was expecting it to be served in a ceramic/glass mug.. visible in other pics.. not expected it to be served in a disposable cup. Overall taste was okayish.. nothing outstanding.
Anukaran K — Google review
This place was amazing because of the ice cream choices and the flavours. I had mango and cotton candy and I would highly recommend.🚀
Mats M — Google review
Tried many gelato places before and was quite hyped up for this one. The 2 samples per customer limit is understandable but for the asking price of just 1 small cup, which is one of the highest I’ve seen, please consider upping this to 3 samples. The overall taste is fine but the flavor is overpowered by the sweetness. I personally prefer a more balanced tone.

We stayed for a week in July while visiting Niagara Falls. The location to the falls is great, only about 10-15 minutes away. The campground is really clean and very well maintained. The pool was great and they offered daily activities for kids. Our kids would have been fully entertained had we not left the campground. We would definitely stay here again.

We camped with a 39' fifth wheel. Plenty of room to get to and into our spot. Sites are big enough that you don't feel like you're intruding on your neighbor. Every staff member we had contact with was super friendly and helpful. We had mechanical issues while traveling and limped into the park. The staff was able to recommend a local repair guy that performed a miracle in 4 hours having to fabricate and redo our trailer suspension. Without that recommendation, our stay would have been stressful and spent looking for someone to do the difficult job he did. This was all thanks to the girl at the front desk when we checked in. At one point I was walking back to my site with wood and an employee driving by in a cart stopped and gave me a ride the rest of the way without me asking. Great employees happy to be there. Very clean park! Plenty of fun to be had for the kids as well. Great location if you're visiting for Niagara Falls or looking for a place to stay while doing day trips to Canada.

HTR Niagara is our new favorite campground. There was so many activities to do for both kids and adults. The sites and amenities were super clean and well run. It wasn’t an overly crowded with sites on top of each other. The staff was so friendly and helpful, even when the entire island lost power staff members were very helpful and informative. Highly recommend this campground!
Christin S — Google review
We typically don't choose campgrounds with a lot of amenities or activities as we wouldn't usually use them. Knowing there's a higher cost for these types of sites, we don't justify paying more. This trip was more about availability, convenience and location so we decided to check out HTR and glad we did. Booking, check-in and arrival were all easy. Staff were all very pleasant to interact with. We'd like an app for booking but that's just a minor thing. The site size and condition were great. Grounds are clean with well maintained bathhouses. While we didn't use any of the activities, it was clear that most of the families were getting their money's worth. We're already looking to book another few days to have the grandkids join us so they can make use of everything that's offered. Most amenities are free which is great to see. Firewood and ice pricing were reasonable. Would like to see more enforcement of kids driving carts and dogs being left alone, outside to bark incessantly. Overall we recommend HTR Niagara Falls and will definitely be booking another stay.

We have traveled through this area four times over 15 years, and for the first time, we decided to make a stop at Niagara Falls from the US side. It is a lovely and well-maintained HTR Niagara RV resort located 10-15 minutes from the waterfall. Excellent service, very friendly staff, and large sites, even for our 42-foot class A motorhome. Clean the sites and toilets. Three or more times a day, garbage is removed from the numerous closed containers throughout the campsite. The grass is always neatly trimmed, and the campground is beautifully decorated. A clean and beautiful lake; many people use the pool. We stayed for three whole days and are very grateful for the service, amenities, and the staff's willingness to be helpful at any time.
Leonid S — Google review
We stayed in a premium cottage with a loft. It was beautiful, sparkling clean, and a perfect size for our family of four. We enjoyed the little beach, we checked out kayaks, canoes, and a peddle bike for four. The pools were really nice. The campground was fairly quiet considering how many people were there. FYI The loft sleeping area is definitely meant for kids. Small, agile, mostly independent at night kids. The stairway is narrow and steep and the ceiling is very low. This added to a fun treehouse/fort/special cozy feel for our elementary aged kids. Our ten year old said "this place was a vibe!"

Foodland Chippawa is a fantastic small-town market that offers a wide variety of essential items, including an LCBO. While it may not be the most affordable option in town, it is undeniably convenient for those who prefer to shop close to home and lack the energy to venture further, such as Costco or other distant places.
Foodland in Chippawa is a convenient and friendly neighborhood grocery store. It offers a good selection of fresh produce, meats, dairy products, and pantry staples. The store's layout is well-organized, making it easy to find what you need quickly. The staff are helpful and courteous, adding to the pleasant shopping experience. With its reasonable prices and convenient location, Foodland in Chippawa is a great option for locals and visitors alike looking to pick up groceries.

There is quite a variety of items here. Reasonable prices, clean store and friendly employees. Bought a lunch to go from the pre-made section. Fresh and very good.
Jeff R — Google review
The staff are friendly and that's about where the good stuff ends. The prices are very high compared to other grocery stores and the quality is quite low. I have had several issues with almost all of the meat sold in store, beef is streaked with discolouration and pork has made us sick multiple times. The stickers are well placed to hide the off putting color and even when opened as soon as you get home the meat already has a rank smell to it. Even with frozen items, I have brought them home and seen they are already incredibly freezer burnt. Overall not good.
Shon M — Google review
I shop at your store almost three times a week, and I’ve shopped there so often that the staff at the checkout recognize me. Today, while I was standing in line and placing my items on the belt, the older woman at the cash register spoke to me in a very disrespectful, rude, and unpleasant tone. She asked why I hadn’t placed the divider in front of my items. However, the customer before me was still waiting to pay and didn’t have anything left on the belt, and it was clearly my turn. The cashier clearly knew that the items on the belt were mine. Still, she spoke to me in a very rude way and said I should have placed the divider and that I need to be more careful next time. She was so rude that both the customer before me and I just looked at each other in shock. I will never, ever come back to shop at that store again. It’s really disappointing and unacceptable to be treated that way, especially as a regular customer. I’m truly sorry and disappointed.

Prices are very high. Selling waygu steaks that state on the package to stay frozen thawed in the meat department with no concern or sticker to state it can not be re frozen. I pointed it out to the meat manager and it was back on the meat shelf the next week. Poor management.

Thorowest bakery Vienna style bread. $1.25 more at Foodland than Reds and Reds is much fresher ? I wonder if Foodland buys seconds ?

The best small grocery store in the region. Has what you want but not a massive variety. The only thing that keeps it from getting five stars is lack of a self checkout.

Very beautiful gardens. Lots of space for picnics. We were doing wedding photos. We came back for follow up. It was still beautiful.

Great park with tons of flowers! So many beautiful flowers so if you like flowers go here. And it’s free. You can’t go into the house but you get to go all around it. Note the parking lot is very small so you may have to wait for parking

I’m much obliged that I found this garden. Folks, If you’re looking for a calm and serene garden and want to spend your time peacefully. I highly recommend this place, you will never disappoint. Not so small at same time the park was not so big. The parking was limited and free. I can’t find public restrooms. I hope, you would like it too.

Oakville Museum Beautiful old structure with heritage value. The house with original furniture and some artefacts. The property is full of history. Beautiful garden with amazing landscape. children learned the story about slavery in Canadian history. Highly recommended to visit it with family. Oakville Museum is not so big but worth visiting. You sure can learn something new. It is located aside from the lake, and gardening is beautiful in summer and autumn

This is a small museum. No need to purchase ticket for basic looking. If you need advanced tour then ticket (or donation) is required. This is a house converted to museum so a good place to step into history. They have maintained artifacts from old times. Kids will like it too if they are keen on history. Nearby park is also a nice place to walk

A quaint little museum, but one of the best laid out I’ve ever seen! Guided tours are available through the living quarters with lots of artifacts. I can’t believe the detail and workmanship of the children’s dollhouse in the kids room! Admission is free thanks to the town and historical society but donations are accepted. The majority of the exhibits are self-guided. Once again, the layout is amazing and well thought out; almost every artifact has a story.

We really enjoyed this park. Unfortunately, we lost our toddler's Scoot & Ride teal scooter in the park back in August. If anyone has any information, please reply this review. Any information is appreciated. Thank you!

Really nice park, well maintained. Has splash pad and soccer ground and swings and slides. Today weather was also 32 degree+ perfect day to spend in splash pad. Toddlers can have tons of fun there.

Excellent park for toddlers and big kids. I love that you can easily see where your kids are, and it isn't so busy.

Excellent splash pad in the summer and even better soccer field. Can’t go wrong with this park. The maintenance is the most impressive part about this park. Soccer field for example is in pristine condition and the grass is immaculate. The splash pad as well you can tell is looked after. I never got to see the basketball court up close or the kids playground. From distance is looks solid.

This was my first visit, definitely not my last. The service was absolutely outstanding. The waitress recommended that i try the sea bass. I'm not a fish person! I gotta say, this dish was absolutely amazing! The most wonderful flavors. Good portion and great presentation! Highly recommend.

Stop by for lunch on a Sunday. Beautiful space and nice decor. Excellent service. They serve a brunch menu and a regular lunch menu. We went with the regular menu. Ordered thr beef tartar, bitter greens as starters and seafood linguine, and chicken for the mains. I also ordered the dreams of oakville cocktail 🍸. Really enjoyed my cocktail, which is a mix of white wine, lime and citus, light and refreshing. As for the starters, those were the highlights of the meal. Really enjoyed the beef tartar that came with slightly toasted bread. The bitter greens came with apple slices and goat cheese, a really good mix. The mains were decent, not bad but also nothing extraordinary. We couldn't really tell if the pasta was freshly made or not, but overall the dish has a good flavor. All in all, think we found a new dining spot!

Ce Soir was the perfect choice for our wedding! From our very first visit, we knew we had found something special. The venue is absolutely charming, and the food was incredible...our guests are still talking about it! What made the experience unforgettable was Shayna and the team. They were so supportive throughout the entire planning process, always kind, patient, and ready to help with anything we needed. Every visit felt personal and welcoming, and their attention to detail made our wedding night a dream come true. We couldn’t be more grateful for all the hard work and care that went into making our day so perfect. We cannot wait to come back on our anniversaries in the years to come. We would recommend Ce Soir every single time!
Giresse M — Google review
It was our first time at Ce Soir for my wife’s birthday and it was amazing! Our server Patrick was great, the food was amazing, table for the break was mediocre. Just wish the house/techno music wasn’t so loud in the dining room area. But overall great experience and will return!
Ryan W — Google review
I had lunch with two friends and we were all impressed by the food, so I brought my daughter and husband back for dinner. The lobster pasta, duck, and salmon were all cooked to perfection, with sophisticated layers of flavor in each dish. The portions are generous, larger than typical French cuisine so we were quite full by the end. But we still managed to share the crème brûlée, which is an absolute must-have. A perfect finish to a wonderful meal.
Jenny F — Google review
We celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday at this restaurant friendly atmosphere. We sat outside, which was really nice to people watch as we ate. Our meal. Definitely would recommend it for something different.
Marina R — Google review
Ce Soir sets the stage for an elevated night out: the lighting is moody, the service professional, and the aesthetic sleek without being sterile. Yet something about the music direction…bold, offbeat, perhaps intentionally disruptive…feels at odds with the otherwise polished dining experience. Whether that contrast is by design or oversight, it’s impossible not to notice. Thankfully, the kitchen more than compensates. Lobster Spaghetti was a standout, perfectly cooked lobster, tender and full of flavour, paired with pasta that was well-textured and dressed in a measured amount of sauce. No excess, no gimmicks — just restraint and technique in perfect balance. Roasted Chicken was quietly exceptional. Seasoned with nuance and baked until it reached an almost confit-level softness, it delivered far more than expected. It’s the kind of dish that, in lesser hands, might be forgettable—but here, it held its own with ease. Ce Soir may need to reconsider its sonic identity, but the culinary execution is confident, composed, and memorable. Ideal for a romantic night out or any occasion where food comes first.
J ( — Google review
Perfect night out! Great service and the food was fantastic. Didn't get photos of the steak tartare or burrata salad but they were delicious. They only do 5oz wine by the glass (not 9 0z) which was surprising but there pours were super generous! We'll be back!!!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and had an absolutely incredible experience! Noah, our waiter, and the entire restaurant team were exceptionally attentive and caring. From the complimentary champagne to the most delicious oysters and scallops, everything was perfect. The cocktails were true masterpieces, and the service was outstanding. Our main dishes were simply exquisite. Thank you for such a warm welcome — we can’t wait to come back very soon!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Hexagon back in August of this summer, and it was absolutely perfect. From the warm welcome to the last bite of dessert, every detail was spot on. The host and our servers were fantastic and quite honestly, they were THE BEST — very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, with a classy touch of humor! The food was incredible: beautifully presented, creative, and full of flavor. You can tell there’s real passion in the kitchen. We even got to meet the chef, and had photos with the staff, which made the night extra special. Everything about the evening exceeded our expectations — it was the perfect place to celebrate our 11th year Wedding Anniversary! A HUGE thank you to the whole Hexagon team for making it such a memorable night! The food was delicious, but the service and the people is what really made it all so memorable!
Sam L — Google review
We dined at hexagon to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The experience was overall positive, but with some suggestions. Food: we had the chef’s tasting menu. My wife had some food preferences ( no raw food or pork) and they were managed very well. Each course of meal was explained to us and whenever there was raw meat, it was cooked for my wife’s dish alone. The theme was Mexican and the ingredients used were top notch. I would have to especially call out the Wagyu dish which was exceptional. Atmosphere: here is where I expected more from a fine dining experience. The restaurant feel crowded and the ambiance was not of a very fine dining restaurant. You can see all the chefs preparing the meal which is great, but the seating , lighting and overall noise level in the restaurant was not up to par. When spending over 200$ per person, the expectation is a culinary experience which includes the dining atmosphere.
NIDHIN N — Google review
My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary at Hexagon this evening, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, every detail of our experience was flawless. Our server, Fernando, deserves the highest commendation. He was not only professional and genuinely friendly, but also demonstrated a level of attentiveness and care that is exceptionally rare in the service industry. His thoughtful recommendations elevated our dining experience, and his diligence in accommodating my husband’s tree-nut allergy immediately put us at ease. To top it all off, Fernando surprised us with complimentary sparkling wine to congratulate us on our anniversary — an incredibly thoughtful gesture that made the evening feel even more special. What truly impressed us was Fernando’s initiative in going above and beyond — making a short trip to the restaurant next door to bring back my requested cappuccino and an espresso for my husband. To call this “great customer service” would be an understatement; it was truly outstanding. The food was a revelation — each dish a masterpiece of flavour, presentation, and innovation. We started with the Vuelve a la Vida, Heirloom Tomatoes and Pain au Lait. Then, for mains, we had the SRF Wagyu Zabuton and Canadian Prime Striploin. For dessert, we indulged in the Peaches and Corn and the Bunuelo. The atmosphere was elegant yet warm, perfectly complementing the elevated dining experience. Hexagon has mastered the art of balancing exceptional cuisine with impeccable service, creating an environment that feels both luxurious and welcoming. If you have not yet dined at Hexagon, you simply have not lived. This was, without a doubt, the BEST experience we have ever had in terms of food, service, and overall dining. To business owners everywhere: take note. Hexagon has set the standard, and they have set it high.

It was truly amazing cuisine. Every plate was delicious and I will be back. The barkeep made me 3 distinct drinks that were all amazing. The service is Michelin star but the food, the flavour and the atmosphere rule! The food is as good as The Pine and Lucie. The staff were amazing, interactive and made the experience a delight. A 5 star recommend!!!

Been meaning to try this place for a while. Made a reservation and when checking in I was offered a patio seat. Late September weather has been nice so we enjoyed the evening sundown outside. Note, it is beside a public square so there are lots of kids playing and screaming (so if you don’t like that, maybe stay inside). Food and service were fantastic. We ordered off the A La Carte menu. Seemed many tables were there for the tasting menu.

Tuna carpaccio: melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness Back cod: melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness Excellent cocktails, I love the fancy ice cubes. The servings were more generous than I expected and we left pleasantly satisfied. Great service and a good vibe overall. The only reason atmosphere loses a star is because it’s very loud in there and that makes it difficult to hear your dinner mates.
G. M — Google review
Impeccable service, drinks and food was amazing! We had a mocktail that was so unique and flavourful, we didn’t even miss the alcohol. The banana dessert was also filled with so many flavours and textures, couldn’t recommend more! Came back for the tasting menu, it does feel quite pricey for the amount you get, with dessert being additional. Though you can see the tome and effort being put into each plate, food tasted phenomenal but the steak and tartar was very average tasting for what you get. The fish and scallops were very unique!

Cove Bar & Restaurant is an elegant harborside venue offering a delightful Italian dining experience. The restaurant features a classy bar and indoor/outdoor seating with stunning views of the lake. Guests can savor handmade pasta and fresh seafood dishes, while enjoying the option of pet-friendly tables on the fully-heated patio. The location is ideal for lunch, dinner, or drinks with friends, and reservations are welcomed. Visitors praise the attentive staff and recommend Cove for special events or parties.
We went for lunch. It was super delicious. I had the fried chicken sandwich and my partner had the salmon poke bowl. The view is lovely - by the marina! The restaurant layout is comfy and relaxed - comfy couch seating, island music, and very fast service. You can then take a nice walk down the marina!

We had high hopes for this place. It was truly underwhelming. When you request for indoor seating, you get shoved to the back of the restaurant and forgotten about. The indoor seating area was so run down and the vibe was very different. They don’t even use cloth napkins, just paper ones. Reservations were at 130pm; we left after 4pm. 2.5 hours for lunch? The service was poor and slow; we were not well attended to. It took forever just get in our drink orders, let alone get the drink itself. The portions of appetizers were so small and fell on the mediocre side, for such a high price point. Their mains had an option to sub a side for ceasar salad, they don’t tell you it’s kale instead of romaine lettuce accompanied with 2.5 pieces of croutons. The seafood linguine had an overkill of salt; couldn’t cut it down even when you request for lemon. The fish dishes were alright, nothing too impressive. Overall, wouldn’t recommend.
Gavin M — Google review
Although the design and feel of the restaurant is very modern and pleasing to the eye, my party didn't have the greatest time on our particular visit. We found the service to be quite slow given how busy the restaurant was (?maybe the kitchen was short staffed that night; but our server didn't even check in on us much or ask if we wanted refills etc), the food was very hit or miss (the blackened catfish and deep fried mushroom app was very tasty, but our other dishes weren't very warm by the time it came out and were so-so) Like I said, maybe our visit was just a one off since there does seem to be many people who have enjoyed themselves here, but I wouldn't really go out of my way for a revisit

We randomly picked this restaurant when we arrived at Bronte Harbor. It has a neat glass door indoor patio which is heated. Good the chill weather yesterday. So you could look out and see the harbor. It's more like a pub food than an Italian restaurant as the despription says. I tried the shrimp roll first time. It was fishy and salty. A bit disappointed. The Salmon tasted pretty plain. The beef burger, Chicken Sando, red velvet cheesecake were good. Our waitress was pretty attentative. I'd come again for a drink or dessert. Maybe not for meals.

During my recent visit to The Cove, I had a mixed experience. The indoor atmosphere was decent but not exceptional, and I would recommend their patio and outdoor dining area for a better ambiance. The chicken wings we had as an appetizer were big in size but lacked the desired flavour, leaving no lasting impression. My main course, the fried chicken poke bowl, had delicious toppings, but the rice was disappointingly hard and cold. However, my husband enjoyed the linguine dish, which was cooked perfectly al dente with a well-balanced sauce. The flavours were satisfying, and he enjoyed it. The exceptional service truly stood out, with friendly and attentive staff making our dining experience enjoyable.
Brittnie K — Google review
The ambiance is amazing and if you sit on the patio, there's a direct view of the water. I got the shrimp roll which was delicious but my friend got the tuna poke bowl, which wasn't too great. However, overall great experience :)

Giving this place a 3 star rating because of the amazing customer service. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The food was alright, nothing too spectacular. We ordered a seafood platter, the seafood pasta and calamari. The mussels that came with the pasta were not fresh or good, at all. The whole table, (I went with 3 girlfriends) agreed that something was seriously off with them. I'm pretty sure the stomach pain I had not long after eating was from them but there's no way to prove that. The carrot cheese cake however was amazing. Probably one of the best cheese cakes I've had in a long time. Also ordered a coffee with almond milk and it was pretty good too. The fries were nice too. The atmosphere is beautiful. We sat in the back in the lounge and it was perfect for groups! Comfy seats. Hopefully if you consider checking this place out the food experience will be better.

We were looking for a place by the lake and found this perfect spot for dinner. Our server was good and checked in multiple times if we needed anything. The food was fine. I particularly like the ma thai cocktail. However its a little pricey.

Indian restaurant
Coriander Green is an Indian restaurant located in Oakville, known for its classic Indian cuisine such as butter chicken and lamb biryani. The restaurant's saffron-colored space pays homage to the king of Indian herbs and the vibrant colors of various Indian ingredients. Established in 2005 by Chef Harminder and his wife Sheena, Coriander Green offers authentic Indian dishes that cater to Canadian tastes. The menu includes mildly spiced options for those who prefer less heat.
My wife’s family have been ordering takeout from Coriander Green for many years but we recently dined in for the first time, and the friendly service and atmosphere were fantastic. We ordered all our favourites including the tandoori chicken which came out sizzling on a hot skillet and the dishes and cutlery were stunning. Beautiful people, atmosphere, and phenomenal food as usual!

We ordered lamb biryani, chicken biryani and mixed grill through Uber eats. The rice and meat in biryani and mixed grill was dry and old. There was no flavor in the food. I called and spoke with Simple (manager) at the restaurant. She sent me a brand new order but it was the same. I am very disappointed with the quality of the food because we use to go to this restaurant frequently. Seems like the chef has changed. Would not recommend this place at all.

The food was ok . We have had better Indian food. We ordered simple dishes but we were shocked with the pricing. It’s ridiculously expensive. I bet it’s because they are in Oakville. $12.00 for two samosas. It’s daylight robbery.

This quiet restaurant has a lovely terrace. The rice was flavorful, but the chicken was overcooked and dry. The naan was decent. The chicken tikka was tasty, although it was slightly dry.

Great food.!! Service is top notch, Mohammad is such a smiling and comforting guy. Their Naan is the best, fresh made, they were the best I have tried. The food served was hot, just how we like it. Overall a good experience. Would visit again.!! One observation I would like to mention; they had a lot of takeouts during the time we were dining there and they gave equal attention to order pickup guys/people there asking them to be seated and if they would like some water. Have not seen that quite often.!!

Loveee this place! Amazing food! Amazing prices and the staff are so lovely. The location is in a perfect corner off lakeshore and the little patio is so pretty on a nice day! Totally recommend will be my new spot

Never going to order from this restaurant. What kind of biryani was it so dry no raita. Taste like fried rice with chicken pieces.

We celebrated a birthday here with 5 of us at one table. Even though the restaurant was busy the staff here made us feel at home, they were so attentive and kind. The food was absolutely divine. We enjoy Indian food in many the big cities in Canada and I can whole heartedly say, this is is one of the best we've tried. It's a gem tucked away off Lakeshore but well worth the search ...Parking is better here too!
