It’s not just an art gallery—it feels like walking through Canadian history. The collection highlights Indigenous history, culture, and traditions in such a thoughtful way, with incredible displays of clothing, artwork, and storytelling. Every room felt meaningful, and the paintings and artifacts helped me connect with the history on a deeper level. It’s the kind of place where you leave not only inspired by the art, but also more educated about Canada’s cultural roots. I highly recommend this museum to everyone—whether you’re an art lover, a history enthusiast, or even someone training to be a teacher. It’s both beautiful and educational, and definitely worth the visit. A true treasure in Ontario! Such a beautiful and meaningful place! I borrowed a pass from the library (a great tip if you have a card—you can get in for free!) and the visit was so smooth. The staff welcomed us right away, and inside the exhibits were breathtaking. The museum shares so much about Indigenous history, art, and culture, and every piece felt powerful and inspiring. A beautiful gallery nestled in a forested area, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg, in the city of Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, focuses on Canadian art, especially the Group of Seven and Indigenous artists. The space is peaceful, well laid out and full of natural light with a great mix of classic and contemporary works. There are walking trails just close to the gallery. A relaxing and inspiring place to spend a couple of hours, it is perfect for art lovers or anyone looking for a quiet escape. Besides the exhibits, the museum often hosts special shows, artist talks and workshops for children and adults. There's also a small cafe and a gift shop with art books, prints, and handmade items. One of the highlights of my visit was the Morrice in Venice exhibition - a glimpse into the work of Canadian artist James Wilson Morrice and his time in Venice. The collection captures the light, colour and mood of Venice in a way that feels both dreamy and grounded. The Morrice in Venice exhibition runs until September 25, 2025.

We visited the McMichael Gallery for the exhibition of Canadian artist James Morris and his Venetian cycle of paintings. The show was fairly compact but beautifully presented, with many works on loan from private collections. There was also plenty of additional material about the creation of the paintings and the artist’s biography, which made the experience even richer. The gallery itself always has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The gift shop is excellent, and I enjoy the café as well. You can also take a walk in the surrounding park - it’s easy to spend a whole day there. I usually buy an annual membership that lets me bring guests, and it’s a wonderful place to meet up with friends.

Can easily spend 2-3 hrs here, hike outdoors or admire the art indoors. Also recommend their Cafe the Cabin, the food is amazing. I had the squash soup and it was very creamy.

It's a bit of a trek from downtown Toronto, but the selections are incredible. There are a couple exhibits, including over 90,000 drawings from Nunavut West Baffin Co Op. There are many group of seven painters in this collection. The Morrice collection is fascinating, and it has many study paintings. This helps to understand the creative process.

Had a wonderful time exploring this gallery! Definitely worth a visit! I went with my partner and 8 month old daughter and it was a perfect place for an outing! The art was unique and beautiful, the place was stroller friendly, and the staff were all so friendly! We went though the outdoor sculpture area after and we went on the grass for a couple minutes and my daughter got a tick on her. I was pretty shocked for how early in the season it is. They do warn about ticks I was just surprised and wanted to give a little warning to those walking around the grounds to dress appropriately for ticks and check your clothes after! Will definitely be going back and probably getting a gallery membership!

A lovely place to spend the day. The gallery building, the grounds, and the trails are beautifully maintained. The cafe serves tasty light bites. The artwork is, well, spectacular. The history of the gallery as a private home and the collecting passion of the owners are very interesting. Well worth the drive from Toronto.

Very nice fields with beautiful surroundings. Parking is pretty good but the nets on the soccer fields are ripped. Not sure how expensive soccer net is but that would make a big difference.

Nice park. We were looking for something quite park and trail to explore near Vaughan and found this place. It's quite and nice trail. You can explore the different pathways along with Humber river. Have seen people are coming here for picnic. People come here with dogs for walking too. Nice picnic spot as it is huge and nice place. Free Parking is available on site.Great place for a nature walk.

Not much to say, nice trail, seems to be well maintained, etc. I did see that it said there was no winter maintenance so keep that in mind.

Great weather for a hike and a little exercise. I love biking on this Humber River Trail in the summer. However, it was nothing less than majestic on the Christmas Day after the snowfall. While keeping distance we wished and received many blessings for the holidays. I hope next year will bring many good things to you too. Happy holidays! Park trail runs along Humber river and is very easy to navigate. There is plenty of parking at the head of the trail. Enjoy!

Good open trail, easy for beginners bc it’s not hard to get lost & it’s not too long. Not too many bugs but still wear bug spray & sunscreen as there aren’t many shady areas. Flat wide for walking with stops along the way to rest. The views are nice. Good amount of parking space also (concrete lot). Enough space to have a picnic / outdoor activity. Pretty busy trail.

Beautiful scenery. Beside the park, there are stores (if you go up the hill) and a beautiful Art gallery. Would recommend going to this place on a weekend or the evening because it was a little busy today. Enjoy!

My new favourite park. Easy to get there and a bit interesting trails to get 10k steps a day. Seems many people are only enjoying trails.

Beautifully done and with tons to offer. This confectionery is a work of art! You can find really nice selections of candies, beverages (obviously their hot chocolate is delicious) desserts, ice cream and there's even a selection of their own candles, cards, nuts, etc. If you're in the are, is definitely worth a visit.

We stumbled upon Old Fire Hall Confectionery during a recent road trip through Ontario, and it was a delightful stop! This quaint little shop has a great selection of ice cream, chocolates, and hot drinks. The highlight was definitely the peppermint patty hot chocolate—it was perfectly balanced with a light, refreshing peppermint flavour that wasn't overwhelming. While the cookies were just okay, the excellent service and fantastic hot chocolate made it a worthwhile visit.

My experience was absolutely wonderful! The place has a charming and cozy atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable. What impressed me the most is their Italian gelato — it’s truly authentic and just like the gelato I’ve had in Italy. The texture is creamy, the flavors are rich, and the quality is outstanding. I highly recommend trying the Chocolate Brownie flavor, which is delicious and indulgent, as well as the Pistachio, which tastes natural and premium. The Dubai Chocolate Pistachio is also exceptional, combining luxury with creativity in every bite. In short, this place deserves more than five stars, and I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of their unique flavors!

With their handcrafted award-winning truffle collection is an absolute masterpiece made by their master chocolatiers offering an incredible selection of the finest Callebaut and Cacao Berry Chocolate, cream and other natural ingredients that cater to diverse tastes and preferences. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a true pleasure. This was our first visit and definitely not our last, it’s truly a must-visit destination for any chocolate lover. Highly recommended!

Great location to stop and grab a cone while roaming downtown Kleinberg. They have both Ice Cream and Gelato options with an assortment of cones. Many other dessert options as well!

The 5 dollar tea is from nylon (which is extremely toxic) tea bag, lemonade from the bottle and cakes which tasted like chemical and probably also bought from the store. 33 CAD for 2 drinks and 2 cakes and we even didn’t finish our food All food and cutlery were plastic even for “dine in”. Really disappointed.

We got married at The Doctor’s House on May 30, 2025, and it was truly the most magical experience. From the moment we booked, the entire team was a dream to work with. Danna, our coordinator, was incredibly kind, responsive, and detail-oriented—always just an email away and there for us every step of the way, including on the big day itself, where she helped guide everything so seamlessly. The venue itself is breathtaking—charming, romantic, and picture-perfect. What really elevated the experience was the level of service. Giovanna, our server at the sweetheart table, was phenomenal. She made sure our meals were hot every time we sat down (which any couple knows is rare on your wedding day!), and she checked in on us as well as Danna. Every little detail was executed flawlessly. The staff made us feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. We can’t thank The Doctor’s House enough for making our wedding day feel so effortless, elegant, and filled with joy. It was truly perfection.

The Doctor’s House makes all your dreams come true. Our wedding was this past Saturday and it was a fairytale come to life. The planning, coordinating, and execution from the team was impeccable. They guided us and directed the entire evening with the utmost care and attention to detail. Elisa ensured our stay at Suite #1 was secure. We are so grateful because it was such a chic and comfortable stay. The redecoration made all the difference. The bed was like a cloud. Elisa took the time to check in with us during our rehearsal and our wedding day. Danna conducted our details meeting and helped us throughout our entire experience. She answered all of our (many) questions quickly. She provided some really great suggestions. She was so kind and wonderful to work with. She would check up with us at every stage: during our tasting, our rehearsal, and throughout the day of the wedding. We are so grateful to her. We met Emi during our rehearsal, she was very helpful, she also checked in during our wedding day. She was attentive throughout the entire day quality checking all of our meals and coordinating behind the scenes. We are very appreciative. Alyssa and Emma were wonderful as well. Alyssa brought us a complimentary gift and it was such a special touch. They came to escort me for the ceremony. They both made me feel so cared for. They walked me to the chapel and carried my train. They fluffed my dress as well. Emma captured a beautiful photo of me outside of the Chapel. Giovanna and Esylin coordinated the remainder of our dinner/evening. They treated us like royalty and catered to our every need. They ensured we enjoyed every part of our dinner. We are so grateful. Behind the scenes was also Raj, Ben, and Dante. My parents let us know that Raj helped them cut the blazer vents at the last second before they entered into the Chapel. They were amazed at how quickly he was able to get scissors for them and have them look perfect. The food was amazing, all of our guests commented at how the food had so much flavor, presentation, and were all served hot! The late night stations were great as well! We went with the poutine and gelato station. The Gelato station was served in the patio in a cute cart. Our ceremony was absolutely wonderful, their chapel is the cutest. We had Daniela D as our officiant. She was amazing to work with. She made our ceremony perfect. John was our pianist and he did an amazing job. We had custom song selections and he played them so beautifully. We had Xclusive Group as our DJ (the in house DJ) and they were wonderful to work with. Anthony was really kind and helpful. Anthony P (our DJ) was really kind as well! He played really good songs, he was happy to play all our song requests. It takes a village and The Doctor’s House team was there for us every step of the way. We are infinitely grateful for this experience. I would do it all over again. We felt like every member was a dear friend of ours. We will be sure to recommend them and visit XXI Chophouse soon. Thank you x a million.

The food was absolutely off the charts. Multiple guests told us it was the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding. Every course was delicious, beautifully plated, and served hot and fresh. Many weeks later, people are still talking about it. Highly recommend the filet mignon! Truly next-level. The team at The Doctor’s House was phenomenal. We didn’t hire a planner, and honestly, we didn’t need one because of how organized and supportive the venue team was. A huge thank you to Danna, who was a dream to work with — calm, patient, responsive, and so genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Her attention to detail and care made all the difference. The level of service across the board was 10/10. We also had a great experience with the in-house vendors. Our officiant, Rev. Steve, created a personalized, heartfelt ceremony that we and our guests will never forget. He took the time to get to know us, and every word felt so meaningful. And our DJ Anthony from Exclusive Entertainment kept the dance floor going all night! The music, energy, and vibe were exactly what we had hoped for. We are SO happy we chose to have our wedding at The Doctor's House! We were so impressed with the staff & venue on our first tour, and they continued to exceed our expectations throughout the wedding planning process. The staff are very well organized and pay attention to the little details. We had our reception in the Garden Room and our family & guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. The food was also a highlight of the night for our guests, and we were thrilled with the quality. During cocktail hour our guests were able to spend the summer evening on the patio and wander through the gardens to take photos. All our staff and waiters were extremely professional and attentive, always checking in and making sure we had exactly what we needed. We also only had one bartender but he kept the drinks flowing all night and our guests raved about him. The venue has multiple weddings per day, however it felt as if we were the only wedding on site. The staff gave us their full attention and you couldn't see/hear other wedding receptions. We had the perfect summer wedding day thanks to The Doctor's House! We can't wait to come back and visit in the future.

Food here is mid. For the price, you can find much better restaurants nearby. Service was good but the kitchen is extremely slow. Took 1 hour to get our mains. The best thing I had all night was the Lobster Sliders and Tuna Tartare. This is my third time here and it improved from the last, but nothing really stood out.

We were supposed to dine Sept 13th for our 26th wedding anniversary but due to a medical treatment we rescheduled Sunday September 14th. We travel 45-60minutes a few times a year because we always have such a great time. Out appetizers excellent, my main was awful, my husband’s great and dessert was ok. The server did not address the concerns of my food I took two bites the fat content was 65-70% it was inedible - I ate a small Caesar salad charged full price. Our anniversary was never acknowledged. I emailed the rest about my disappointment- NO RESPONSE. We will have to find a new place to celebrate our special occasions.

XXI Chophouse has been on my radar for quite some time. Located inside The Doctor's House, if you're looking for an intimate evening with your partner, friends or family this is a place you should really consider. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and take pride in making their guests feel at home. The establishment is stunning, and the food is outstanding. Overall, it was a memorable experience.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience here. My husband booked this for our anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess with a "Happy Anniversary" and as soon as our server came, she wished us one as well, and asked how long we'd been married. Later into our meal, we each received a complimentary glass of Prosecco to toast with, and she recalled we'd been married for 6 years and congratulated us on it. Reading reviews on other sites, I'm not sure that some people have been there recently. I read one review complaining that there was no bread provided to start. We got some. It was fresh and delicious. I read other reviews about waitstaff being slow or not helpful. Our server was sensational. She was knowledgeable, friendly, consistently checking on us for refills, if we were ready for our next course, to clear plates etc. She even went so far as to clear our plates, and bring us new ones, between the 2 appetizers we had ordered. And then, before our steak came, she even wiped down our placemats to clear them of crumbs. Knowing it was our anniversary, they sat us at a table that permitted us complete privacy in the solarium half of the restaurant for the vast majority of our stay (until a larger party sat down roughly 30 minutes before we departed). It should be noted that we requested to take our time and ordered several courses, asked for each one individually, and also stayed for coffee/tea/dessert. We were there for over 2.5 hours. (Had we wanted to move our service along faster, we would have had complete privacy for our entire meal.) We ordered the bone marrow, my husband had 3 Oysters (I don't eat seafood, but if you do, don't skip these - the show is worth it), the prosciutto/burrata flatbread for starters. Having made the choice to have so many starters, we ordered 1 steak and 2 sides to split (the 16 oz NY strip, 21 layers truffle potato, and buffalo brussels). The server took it upon herself to request the steak be sliced, and served to us on a board, so we could easily share it. It was cooked to absolutely (medium rare) perfection and the sides were outstanding. Trust me, you want to order the 21 layer truffle potato! It was my favorite food of the entire night. We then shared the creme brulee, and it did not disappoint, while having espresso and tea. Everything we consumed, including beverages, was worth every penny. Yes, this is fine dining. Yes, it has a high price point. But, its not just that the quality makes it worth it - the portions are actually huge. I would highly recommend coming here for a special occasion. They will treat you with the utmost care. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful anniversary celebration!

Very nice place with amazing food that definitely deserves 10 stars if I could give. Every plate that we ordered was perfect, it was just done right: cooked to the desired condition, decorated nicely and simply tasty. The was also good and in time, no errors very pleasant experience with the waiters and wait time for the food wasn't long. P.S. They have free parking for customers, so you can enter the gate and get the ticket to get out.

Awesome 5 star meal and service! Yes it’s fine dining pricing but you get your money’s worth! Shoutout to Ray for his great suggestions and service ! All servers were amazing and the food was the best we have had in a while! Drinks are 5 star and they keep the drinks coming, you are not searching for your servers! Get a dozen oysters ! It’s worth the show! We had steak special for 2 and amazing Octopus.. their fresh veggies are great and their layered potato side is to die for! We found the crowd friendly and not snobbish as other reviews indicated…great night !

I rarely leave reviews and generally am of the opinion if you don't try new places you don't find the hidden gems. On this Occasion this dining experience left me disappointed and has been bothering me so I thought I'd share. First off most of the food was excellent. We ordered the lamb and Salmon and thought bother were Fantastic. But that's as far as it went as the overall experience was very sub-par. They knew it was our anniversary and we received nothing special beyond "I see its you anniversary, congratulations". I Never feel entitled or expect special treatment but for the money (This place is very pricey) I would have expected something.... A simple glass of champagne, a dessert, a mint chocolate on the plate... something. My point is... don't expect them to go the extra mile for you. We ordered The Creme Brule for dessert... completely sub par, portion small, served to thin with the sugar crust much thicker and harder than it should be with very little cream. Not remotely worth the money. We noticed afterwards that we were charged for every refill of a soft drink, and I imagine that goes over to coffee as well. $5 per glass of diet coke. Are they really that desperate to gouge on the small stuff when they are charging $250 for a steak ? Honestly. Service was great at first until a few tables came in ordering $600 bottles of wine, then we were completely ignored and had to ask for our bill 3 times and waited 45 min past when we were ready to leave. Ambiance... trying to hard. We came to this place many times when it was called the doctors house, then they decided to segment off and reno the restaurant into a loud , hip bar style restaurant with incredibly overpriced selections. I don't mind at all paying the high price for quality food, but when you throw in the gouging on the little things, left us with an overall bad experience and honestly we left feeling cheated. You go here when you want to impress a date with the size of your wallet. There are much better choices for steakhouses in the city both for quality of the overall meal and value for the money even at the very high end.

Very good Italian food. They gave a bread refill without asking, extra points! Pizza was classic, the risotto was a bit on the saltier side but still good, steak may have liked it a bit med rare, fish was only ok compared to the rest it was not as seasoned. Happy to come back again.

Outstanding flavours, impeccable service! Enjoyed a delicious family dinner at Villaggio last night. The Pasta, pizza and steak entrees were all mouth watering and cooked to perfection which reflects the wide range of expertise that the chefs deliver in every dish. Plating is meticulous and very aesthetically pleasing as are the rich flavours in each meal. Sausage pasta was cooked to perfection, pizza was crispy and flavourful and the mouth watering steak was tender with amazing flavors that were embedded in the herb infused butter. The atmosphere is relaxing and servers are so attentive, friendly and not at all intrusive. The collaboration between kitchen and service staff is palpable! Thank you for a wonderful evening and we will be back soon!

First time here, and the food was really good! Everything from the seafood salad to the pizza was delicious. Would definitely return and would highly recommend.

I’ve been to Villagio before and have really enjoyed it, but this recent visit didn’t quite meet the same standard. My friend and I were seated on the patio, which we were excited about, but unfortunately we were placed in an odd corner right up against the brick wall of the restaurant. It was extremely hot and there seemed to be no air circulation in that spot, which made it pretty uncomfortable. On a positive note, the Burrata was absolutely delicious, definitely the highlight of the meal. We each ordered a different risotto to try something new, and while it looked great, we felt it was lacking in flavour, possibly just needing a touch more seasoning or salt. Even with fresh cheese added on top, it didn’t quite come together for us. A small suggestion for the restaurant: it would really elevate the patio experience to have some background music playing. It was so quiet that even soft conversations felt a bit too public. The tables are quite close together, so you can clearly hear the people beside you, which takes away from the atmosphere a bit. Overall, I still enjoy Villagio and hope to have a better experience next time. Just a few small improvements could make a big difference.

This is a great Italian restaurant. Food and service is amazing. I went for my birthday dinner and ordered the cacio e pepe gnocchi; it was amazing!

A friend brought me here for lunch on a Tuesday. It's a cute restaurant with a warm and cozy ambience. The waiters were very hospitable, and the food was made with love! My only concern with this place is that we had to wait an hour for our dishes, despite being one of only two tables seated at the time. I really hope that was just a one time thing, and wont happen again next time.

Large park with so.much nature to enjoy. Entry charges are applicable for vehicles. Wooden benches are worn out though (as of May 16, 25). Hope the park authorities will fix them before summer activities. Parking space is limited at the entrance. However with the entry ticket, you can drive in.

Boyd Conservation Park is a peaceful spot in Vaughan, perfect for a weekend escape into nature. The picnic areas are spacious and well-kept, with plenty of tables and even some barbecue grills, making it great for family gatherings or casual hangouts. There are 17 picnic sites spread across the park, so you’ll likely find a quiet corner even on busy days. The washrooms are clean and located in solid brick buildings, which is a nice touch when you’re spending hours outdoors. It’s also a good place for kids to run around, and dogs are welcome too. Parking is pretty straightforward, with accessible spots available. Just keep in mind the park is only open until 8pm, so plan ahead.

Boyd Conservation Park in Vaughan is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of fall. The trees glow with golden and red leaves, creating a stunning backdrop for a relaxing day outdoors. Families were gathered around picnic tables, grilling delicious food on the barbecue and sharing laughter. Children ran across the open fields, kicking footballs and playing games while parents relaxed nearby. The park is clean, peaceful, and very well maintained, with convenient washrooms and plenty of parking. It’s also dog-friendly, making it ideal for pet owners. Whether you’re after a quiet walk, a picnic, or family fun, Boyd Park feels truly special in autumn.

Very nice area. Apparently quite popular too. I could see lot of families using the walking trails. You can book picnic spots with sheds. There is a fee for bringing in your car.

We had our wedding in the Spruce Ridge picnic area. The staff were extremely supportive. Unfortunately, we were running late and they cooperated with patience, the picnic areas are well maintained.

I always walk in the park but I was there for the Festa d' Italia Vaughan, It was the first year and I think they did a great job, it was free, the vendors were friendly, the food and ice was amazing and the entertainment was good, there were tons of people with dogs, all had fun and no trouble

The energy in the restaurant is so positive and welcoming — it instantly sets the tone for a great dining experience. The food was exceptional — every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and perfectly balanced. You can truly taste the care and quality in every bite. It’s rare to find a place that combines amazing food, genuine service, and such a happy atmosphere all in one. Belsitto has definitely become one of our new favourites — can’t wait to come back!

There’s a reason why this place is always booked. The food and the vibe are awesome, but what I cannot speak highly enough of is the service. The staff here really goes out of the way to get to know you, and they treat you like family. We have Martino as a server almost every time we go, and he is remarkable. If you’ve never been here, you have to check it out. It’s a great restaurant to dine at.

Belsito was amazing! Our party of six shared three delicious pizzas, fresh salad, apps, desserts, and wine, every bite was perfect. The manager was so friendly and welcoming, treating us like family. Fantastic food, outstanding service, and a warm vibe. I’ve tried many many Italian restaurants. This is hands down one of the best restaurants I have tried!

My wife and I had dinner here to celebrate our anniversary and it was amazing. The best part was Philip, our waiter. He was a total professional and always seemed to be present at the right time! Thank you Philip! The food was top notch as well. We shared the burrata as an appetizer and I had the rigatoni for my main. My wife had the risotto. If you're looking for great Italian food, look no further! They clearly know what they're doing.

We attended Belsito Trattoria this evening for my father's birthday. I must say, not only the food, but the service and staff were quite exceptional! They were so accommodating and offered us great knowledge about our delicious food. Our server was very memorable- ⭐️ 5 stars - a must try for celebrations!!!

This was my first visit to this wonderful restaurant which definitely will not be my last. I had the amazing lamb spedini for appetizer and then the wonderful cod dish with potatoes heirloom carrots asparagus and olives in the most wonderful tomato sauce I've ever had. My compliments to the chef Adriano and to the staff for their wonderful service. This place is a gem and a must try. Well done team. See you next time. I love this place! I came on a quiet weekday afternoon on a hot day. It’s a nice place to get a sweet treat and refreshing drink, while reading a book from the local library down the street. I recommend the matcha or lemonade if you are not a coffee drinker.

Nestled right on Main Street, Balzac’s Kleinburg is the perfect small-town coffee escape. Housed in a charming converted century home, it offers two cozy floors of seating with little nooks ideal for catching up with a friend, studying, or getting some work done on your laptop. It can get quite busy on weekends, but I was still able to grab a seat on the front porch and enjoy some people-watching along the village strip. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and uniquely Kleinburg. Proudly Canadian, Balzac’s serves excellent coffee with plenty of milk options for all preferences. I'm usually pretty easygoing when it comes to coffee shops, but my last visit here left a bad taste in my mouth – and it wasn't the coffee. I ordered a simple latte, but what I received was clearly a cappuccino. I politely pointed out the mistake, expecting a quick correction. Instead, the barista immediately got defensive and started arguing with me, insisting it was indeed a latte. The argument went on for a few uncomfortable minutes, with them practically lecturing me on the difference between the two drinks. It was frustrating and frankly, quite rude. I just wanted my correct order, not a debate. Eventually, they begrudgingly remade it, but the whole experience soured my visit. It's one thing to make a mistake, but to argue with a customer about it is unacceptable. I might give them another try down the road, but for now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Absolutely love Balzac’s Coffee! The new Apple Caramel Latte is so good — perfect for fall. This is probably my 10th visit, and it never disappoints. Such a cozy spot, especially if you’re bringing your pet (they even offer a pup cup 🐶☕). My go-to destination every autumn! 🍁

The apple caramel seasonal coffee was amazing . I changed the sweetness though. The little veggie breakfast sandwich was great too as well as gluten free cashew cookie. The ambience inside is very cozy and nice and it has a small outdoor sitting with natural wood flooring which give you feeling of eating in outskirts. Staff are friendly too. Enjoyed my time very much.

The staff and atmosphere is great. THE FOOD AND DRINKS ARE NOT WORTH IT. I spent $9 on a matcha and it was basically just oat milk with a splash of vanilla. You could not taste it at all. Secondly the cookies…. We got there around 11 so it’s still early in the day and everything is rock hard. I got the Halloween sugar cookies for my kids and the oatmeal raisin for myself. Rock hard. My kids couldn’t even eat there cookies. Better off going to Tim Hortons

Love their pizza! it’s totally different from your typical Pizza places. It’s thicker, with a generous layer of mozzarella, and tastes amazing with a great crust. Service was good, although it took a while for our two pizzas to arrive, which might be because we ordered close to closing time. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant are beautiful. If you don’t want to go downtown and want a nice date night without traffic or parking issues, this is going to be your spot. Definitely recommend it. 9/10, cheers!

This is a tough one, we went there for a birthday. The area and atmosphere gave a more downtown feel for such a small town. We were greeted promptly and didn't have to wait to be seated (We did have reservations). Upon sitting down a very charismatic gentleman by the name of Rob greeted our table and made us feel like we've been there before. Went through the menu with us and answered all questions we had. When it came to the apps, the feelings were split. I felt my beef tartar was not bad but meh, while my friends raved the Burratta was the best they've ever eaten. When we get to the mains, the opinions split. My Swordfish was quite nice, while their bore chop was dry and lustlacking. The other knock is in the sides, they aren't tailored really to the dish and seem like an afterthought. None the less, the meal wasn't the regrettable but nothing special either. What really made the night was Rob. He even offered to sing happy birthday. He is literally one of the best servers I've had in a very very long time. As Milano, the drinks are strong, the food is decent, but the service is world class.

I visited Milano on a Tuesday evening around 7 p.m. We had made a reservation in advance for the dining room, so the seating process was seamless. We were greeted by the hostess upon entry, confirmed our reservation, and were promptly shown to our table. The ambiance was stylish with an upscale vibe. Our table was located in a cozy corner with a sofa that could comfortably seat two, plus a chair for a third person. I appreciated that the table was spacious, with plenty of room for our food and drinks. Menus were already placed on the table when we were seated. Milano offers a standard menu with regular items and a smaller, rotating menu that changes daily, as explained by our server. In terms of pricing, it varies significantly. Most mains start around $30, though I did notice a steak priced at over $200. After we had a moment to review the menu, our server came by to ask about drinks. We requested water and were offered a choice between flat or sparkling. We chose flat, and the server opened a bottled version, which we later discovered cost $10 per bottle. Surprised, we asked if they had regular tap water instead, and the server kindly replaced it for us. As for the food: I ordered the Mushroom Truffle Pasta, which was absolutely delicious. The pasta shape was very enjoyable, though a bit tricky to eat gracefully because of the sauce. However, the abundance of sauce is also what made the dish enjoyable: it was rich, flavorful, and creamy. The portion was satisfying - filling without being too heavy. I especially loved the variety of mushrooms used. I also sampled my companion’s Spicy Rigatoni, which was equally impressive: nicely sauced with a bold kick that added depth to the flavor. All in all, a wonderful experience. My sole complaint was the noise level, as I had a hard time hearing my company throughout my meal. As a result, we often had to repeat ourselves. However, it's not really something within the control of the restaurant staff.

I’ve visited this Milano restaurant many times and always found both the food and service excellent, so I was surprised by today’s experience. Server “Francesco” seemed put off when I asked for tap water right after being seated, he poured only enough for a single sip—unusual since I’ve always been able to get full glass before. We went on to order drinks, appetizers, and mains. The appetizers came in good time, but waited over 30 minutes or so for our main dish. Though I didn’t dwell on the delay, it set a tone. After finishing the main dishes, we requested the bill—but waited another 45 minutes while Francesco repeatedly attended to the table next to us and asked if everything is going good with them. He didn’t ask us not once how our meals were going. Eventually, we asked again and he responded immediately. When we asked to split the bill into three separate payments, he said the restaurant doesn’t allow it, which felt odd because I’ve done it here before. We paid the bill and he didn’t bother to say thank you or have a good night. He just grabbed the money and went on with his evening. Throughout the evening , his demeanor was cold and detached, making what should have been a pleasant evening feel rushed and inattentive.

The atmosphere was high end and the staff was professional and very friendly. The food was amazing with great quality. I highly recommend the zucchini chips.

I am writing this review as a vegetarian who went to Milano for trying mainly their pasta and pizza. I had higher expectations for their spicy rigatoni. The funghii pizza was good. The burrata was okay too, nothing great, in my own opinion. There are other Italian restaurants in Vaughan that do better burrata. Wine was great. Ambience was fantastic . And our server was amazing. They check on you often and you don’t have to look around to order things. Would return to try other things on the menu.

Decided to try this place for a mini treat night. First time here, we made reservations for a saturday night but was not too busy. They gave us free bruschetta along with the apps. I highly recommend the pork belly ceasar salad and the honey truffle fries. Salad was out of this world! The appetizers was definitely better than our pasta entrees. I got a veggie pasta with olives and tomatoes, it was overwhelmed with an olive taste. The wild boar gnocchi was good, however tasted like an italian beef bolognese you can make at home, definitely was not worth $36 a plate. We requested for a side of bread with our pasta and it never came but that is okay because it was plenty of food. For dessert the chocolate ravioli was warm and tasty. I would come back for the apps and I heard they do oyster nights .

My friends and I went for dinner recently. The food was delicious, especially the seafood pasta. They have a great wine selection. What stood out most to me was the amazing service. I would most definitely return to this restaurant just based on the servers we had the pleasure of meeting.

Visit this restaurant today everything was good we are 5 adults and 1 child. This was located in a plaza with a gas station...One lady server doesnt know the special. Another gent had to come and explain what they have that wasnt on the menu. Price came to $455 + tips. A little on the pricey side given the fact that only 3 of us got a glass of wine, but I gave this a 4 stars for the overall exp.

Simply the best. Unassuming restaurant location, but the food is the highlight - they pay attention to the food. Everything is delicious. We had a sardines appetizer that was perfectly prepared, boar gnocchi that knocked it out of the park, and their lamb is one the best I have ever had. Don’t miss out.

Invited to dinner with work associates. Had a separate area. Started with group appetizers. Shrimp, out of this world, artichokes...Wow, rapini salad. Great. Some people had gnocchi either wild boar sauce....I had the lamb.....really really great. Service was top notch. Met the owner Correy. Great guy. You will not be disappointed.

Been there for an event!! Elegance meets hospitality! Great place for special events! Calm and peaceful place with delicious food! Good for high end weddings and special events. They organized everything perfectly. Highly recommended for people like to do things in style.

I played a round here today, and I have to say, this place is impressive. Rain was in the forecast, so I ended up playing alone, which was nice as I finished the round in 3hrs. The course is stunning. Every hole is fun, but challenging. The course conditions were almost perfect, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I went to the Bistro after to get some food, and that was also excellent. Just a great place all-around. You really can't go wrong booking a game here. I'll definitely be coming back.

Attended the Four Seasons golf tournament at Copper Creek Golf Course and had a fantastic experience. The course was in excellent shape and the event was well organized. After the round, we were treated to a great meal — the food and service were both top-notch. A beautiful venue and a memorable day overall!

I was recently there for a wedding and what a beautiful day & experience! The service provided from the staff was 10/10. Everyone was professional and so kind. The food… wow! Usually you worry about how good the food will be when attending a wedding, not at Copper Creek!! The food was absolutely delicious and so much detail into presentation. Additional bonus: As someone with allergies I didn’t have to remind the staff at all what my allergies were, my plate never needed to be changed and my food also came out with the rest of my table! This rarely happens when I attend big events. Another 10/10

We had an excellent experience last night — both the food and the service were outstanding. Our party of eight included two young children, and the staff took care of them right away. They loved their meals, which made the evening even more enjoyable for everyone. Our server, Pino, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and spot-on with his cocktail, wine, and food recommendations. We started by sharing a variety of delicious appetizers from both menus, and for my main course, I had the veal chop with mushrooms and truffle. Absolutely incredible! Highly recommend.

Andrea looked after us and was absolutely superb. The ambience was excellent, and he essentially ordered for us—the food was spectacular. It’s about a 40-minute drive from where we live, but well worth it. We’ll definitely be back, and this spot is now officially in our rotation! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Extremely disappointed place, service and food - would not recommend! Visited this restaurant with friends today at 12:30 PM. Despite the dining room being half empty, the service was painfully slow. We spent almost three hours there, and the entire time it felt like we were a burden to the staff. Our server acted like he was doing us a favor every time he came over, never smiled once, and was nearly impossible to flag down. At one point, he even leaned over and bumped into guests at the table with his stomach to reach items, all without a single apology or even a hint of a smile. It was shockingly unprofessional and uncomfortable. Basic service expectations were completely ignored. No one offered us bread, olive oil, vinegar, or even lemon for the water - not even as a paid option. In an Italian restaurant, this is the bare minimum. The lack of attention to these details just added to the overall feeling of neglect. The food was just as disappointing. Each dish took about an hour to arrive - even the simple ones. The grilled calamari was overcooked and bitter. I ordered a whole grilled sea bass, but was served a pile of skinless, boneless fish fillets swimming in oil on a large plate. It looked messy and tasted just as bad - greasy and flavorless. The spaghetti with crab was a tiny portion for $68, with only a little crab that was still in the shell. My friend had to dig it out with a fork herself. The fried calamari and shrimp tasted boiled rather than fried - the batter was soggy and soft, with zero crispness. To make matters worse, several girls felt sick on the way home, which really raises concerns about food safety and quality. I dine out frequently and never write bad reviews, but when an expensive restaurant in Kleinburg delivers such subpar service and food, it deserves to be called out. Strongly do not recommend. Total waste of time and money.

A charming Italian restaurant with dedicated and capable staff that enhance the dining experience the moment you arrive! The pastas are wonderfully dressed in the sauce and are quite rich. Every bite of the meals that were brought on the table brought smiles to everyone's face. The appetizers were good portions to share so were the desserts. This would be a great choice if you'd like to treat someone for a special event.

My son ordered buffalo chicken wings and it was hot for him so they changed it to the plain one. Bruschetta was ok but the Greek salad was not original Greek salad

A friend and I went here just to talk about stuff. This place is located in pretty much the basement of another establishment. There is not too much seating here, but nonetheless, there was a table available for us upon entry. The menu is alright and has items that most people like, as well as a wide selection of drinks. We got the poutine for the table, and it was alright. For my main I got the Montreal-style smoked meat on white bread (I asked for that instead of rye, they were able to accommodate). The meat was really good and the fries were crispy. They had a dessert menu which has a couple slices of cake, of which we shared a chocolate cake. Everything took a while to come out, which I am not going to blame on the servers but more the restaurant on having such low staff. Two people on a Saturday night is absurd. The prices are fair, I suppose. And I am not sure if we came on the wrong night, but it was REALLY loud. I won’t be back, and I do pity the employees here, it’s not their fault.

This small and charming pub absolutely nailed it today. Everything I was looking for in a meal. I had the burger with their own lager on tap and it hit the spot in the best way. If you're hungry and Thirsty do yourself a favour and hit this little gem.

It looks very dingy and dark inside, the patio tables are wobbly. The burgers. The chicken tenders and sweet potato fries are delish. The mozzarella sticks were really good! The burgers are a bit burnt and the Caesar salad was ok.

Disappointing. I used to order from la pizza shoppe all the time. I ordered the NY pepperoni recently and what a huge disappointment. The pizza dough did not taste the same. It tasted as if they bought pre made pizza dough. The pizza was very thick and doughy. Honestly worst then pizza pizza. Not sure what happened to the quality but I won’t be returning.

Ordered a pizza today and at first glance everything looked fine. Halfway through my second slice, I discovered a long hair under the melted cheese and pepperoni, partially embedded in the dough. I even took a video of it being pulled out, it was clearly cooked into the pizza, not something that just landed on top. I’ve worked in the food industry, so I know mistakes can happen. I called the store calmly a women answered the phone, I let her know what happend, and she didn't even apologize once. Instead, I was told that “customers lie all the time” and that the manager wouldn’t allow any kind of refund or remedy. The girl on the phone showed zero concern or accountability, even after I mentioned I had video proof. Honestly, it was shocking and incredibly disappointing. I wasn’t looking for anything dramatic, just a basic acknowledgment and for them to be aware of a serious hygiene issue. But to be dismissed like that, after paying $25 for a pizza, is unacceptable. I won’t be ordering from here again. Also does it look like I put that there??? This is absurd

The last reviewer said it best it’s a bigger version of Tim Hortons pizza. Not what I was expecting from a pizza shop in Kleinberg. Very thick dough. Could’ve made the same pizza from frozen at home. No slices available at this place either. For a walking village that has a lot of pedestrian traffic it might make better sense for them to offer slices. Go to VIVO pizza down the road

It looks like a cute pizza place from the outside. However, the pizza was more like a big flatbread, definitely not an authentic Italian pizza. It was enough for two people. The pepperoni pizza was a disaster; the pepperoni slices were extremely oily and had a strange taste, so we had to remove them to be able to eat it. The Margherita was decent, but the edges were burned. Sitting outside was also challenging due to the flies. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place, Pizza Pizza offers better and cheaper pizzas.

Honestly, this place shocked me. The female manager/owner didn’t even know what was in their own gelato. Zero transparency, zero accountability. It made me really uncomfortable knowing they could be serving food full of allergens and have no clue about it. That’s not just careless — it’s dangerous. If you value your health or have any allergies, I would not trust eating here.

You have to look carefully for this one.....but LOOK FOR IT!!!!! This is NOT just and ice cream/bakery place...but it is so much more. A smallish interior (grab a table before you order and sit out on the patio if the weather is nice) with only five 2-seater tables and one big 6-seater. And this place is OBVIOUSLY good as it was filled with locals on a mid-weekday. Service is efficient but be prepared to wait a bit as the kitchen is also small with just one TERRIFIC cook/chef who handles the whole menu. But it is worth the wait. Have some delicious coffee! Food is fresh and locally sourced. There is baking to choose from but their breakfasts are spectacular!!!! Country fresh orange eggs and thick peameal bacon with thick beefsteak tomato slices. My panini sandwich was loaded with thick slices of peameal stuffed in a fresh crusty bun hot off a press. It was something I could have split. Washroom could use a bit of an update/reno........

Just went for ice cream. The selection is small, but the ice cream tastes good. It's a bit expensive for the portion though, so don't think I'll be back, when there are better options for ice cream on the street. The staff were nice and they have a nice patio.

Such a cute cafe and great service. Got a few breakfast items which were delicious and fresh. Would love to come again! Also, great process for ordering with the restrictions, super easy and safe. We got the salmon on rye sandwich, egg and avocado sandwich and same combo in a croissant - can’t go wrong with these!!

Get you a friend and get this $45 Brunch box, ABSOLUTELY Worth it, delicious. Comes in a big pizza box, we were obsessed. The chai tea lattes and London fog were lovely. I forgot to take a picture of our main food because we dove in right away but we got the Eggs Benedict, Egg and Avocado Sandwich and The Classic Breakfast. They were all delicious, I’ve also never had Eggs Benny on a waffle before!! I loved it. And the eggs were perfect. Thank you so much, our crummy day was instantly turned around, fast service and full bellies. Will return ♥️

The food and service were excellent here. I had the eggs Benjamin waffle which had a nice mix of sweet and savory. The coffee was fresh and they had plant based milk options! They currently have a little patio set up for covid times and there is no dining inside. There baked goods looked yummy too; I'll be back to try them!

We live in Kleinburg and have been here a few times. I'm disappointed to say this will be our last time because we love the ambiance of the outdoor patio. No one should ever have to endure their pathetic service; just pathetic. For starters we were never offered water; nor did it come when we asked. Same goes with with the ketchup. We sit down at our table for 30 minutes as we watch newcomers being served before us. When I ordered my breakfast, I asked for my bacon well-done; twice. She didn't seem to be paying attention so I asked her a second time to ensure there was no mistake (the table next to us got the wrong omlet and nothing was done to rectify their mistake so I took that extra precaution). After waiting another 20 minutes, the food arrives and none of the food runners know anything about well-done bacon. In fact, it wasn't even bacon, it was all fat. None of our toasts came with butter, so we ate dry toast with our meals. The eggs were gross and the potatoes were undercooked. The photos attached were taken upon our exit. The undercooked potatoes were the only eatable thing on my plate. I've legitimately never been so disappointed with breakfast; ever! My mom's cappuccino never even arrived. We order the bill when the food arrived and still had to wait. To sum it up, the food is garbage, the service is pathetic, and they have a patio. Save your time and money and sit at the Starbucks across the street if you're looking for a nice patio. Don't bother with this place. It really is too bad because I really wanted to love this place.

This is a nice quaint location in the town of Klienburg main street. It's busy in the mornings and weekends. Service is good and quick. The parking lot is limited and on the weekends the street parking is taken by all the town visitors. My coffee is usually made well. I don't order anything over complicated but I had to mention it.

This Starbucks is amazing. It is so warm-feeling and cozy. It is pretty small, but it has nice outdoor seating and the area of Kleinburg it is in is pretty. I have never had complaints about the service or drinks.

I love this Starbucks location! It is super cute and cozy. It has a wrap around porch with Muskoka chairs so you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. One of my fav spots to just hang around especially on a cool summers evening.

I have been going to Melissa at Kleinburg Wellness for years now and have had the best experience. She is so incredibly kind and knowledgeable in what she does and made me feel as comfortable as possible. She explains everything in detail and I would highly recommend her!

I saw Jessielyn for a full body, one-hour massage earlier this week and had a wonderful, positive experience. I have been a Kleinburg Wellness client for many years, and can attest to Jessielyn fitting right in with the other professionals in the office. She was kind and courteous, professional and ethical. She has firm hands and provided a deep tissue massage that really helped me with my lower back, neck and shoulder pain. She asked me to pinpoint areas that needed a bit more work and worked so diligently to ensure she treated these areas for me. The hour flew by quickly, and I greatly appreciated this first opportunity to be under her care. It won't be the last and I highly recommend her to others. She complements the practice through her professionalism and high degree of knowledge, and left me ready to tackle the second half of my university semester.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR RELAXING EXPERIENCE. The room was not dark at all, it had all the light coming from the window which receptionist never mentioned when I booked the appointment and I was given a towel to put on my eyes which was so thin that it didn’t really work (the room had big window with a blind that didn’t stop light at all). Not only that, the massage room was right beside main door and receptionist area was making it worse as it was all noise instead of being relaxing (people coming in & out, loud conversations and no music at all). The experience with massage didn’t go well either. “Jessielyn” did my massage and didn’t focus on the area that I needed massage for rather she spent time on non-important areas and was pressing on bones and I felt no difference after massage. Also, I asked for oil massage and felt like the oil was close to none and she was more concerned for the time. I mentioned the room problem to the receptionist and behaved like it was no big deal by saying “thanks for letting us know”. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone and if you still decide to go please make sure you get the dark and quiet room bcz otherwise it will ruin your whole experience of massage.

I've been several times for laser hair removal. Melissa is the best! I was really shy about going at first but she makes everything so comfortable and the machine is very new and painless. I noticed results right away. The overall place itself is new, clean and cozy. In response to the other comments about parking and availability, I always go on weekends or on weeknight evenings and never had an issue with parking. Yes, the schedule is full but if you book in advance, you shouldn't have a problem. Plus, it's busy because it's good. I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

The Sculpture Garden in Kleinburg is a beautiful spot where art and nature come together. The sculptures are unique and the grounds are peaceful, making it a lovely place for a quiet walk or photos. A great stop if you’re visiting the village or the McMichael Gallery nearby. There is free parking for visiting village and a paid parking close to McMicheal Gallery with a flat rate of $7.00 for whole day.

It's a short walk on a path. It will sometimes be wet underfoot if you want to go closer to read the signs.

The grounds are open to explore on foot, even when the main building is closed. Park at the library or store close by and just walk in down the main road. Lovely forested area!

St. Padre Pio Church is a newly built church dedicated to St. Father Pio. It is located at Vaughn. The church is spacious, huge, and high ceilings. We attended mass there during his feast day and there were a lot of parishioners who turned out for the celebration. Pasta and sandwiches were offered for purchase, coffee, cakes and fruit platters were free of charge. The Bishop of Toronto was the officiating priest for the celebration. It was my first time to attend mass there last Saturday, September 23/23, and it felt exhilarating. It was worth the drive to Vaughn.

Went on a random weekday (without a pilgrim group) to walk through the Holy Doors for the 2025 Jubilee. A beautiful church with relics of St. Padre Pio and more. One amazing feature that blew me away were the small piece of stones from the Holy Land from landmarks where Jesus stood embedded into the stain glass windows-remarkable!! It was a light, airy, quiet reflective space where I could think, pray and give thanks to God. An extra special moment was after buying a few items in the gift shop, I was able to get them blessed by the priest who just happened to be around.

Solemn and heartwarming church 🥰 My mom and I went here to hear the mass the 1st time and it was very memorable. Mom and I are devotees of Santo Padre Pio. We usually see mass in a big church of Santo Padre Pio in the Philippines.

The Passion Play was beyond fantastic. Professional,exhilarating, great production, music, costumes, scenery, and total dedication to the Greatest Story ever Told. Thank you to all the Passion Play team who gave us a first class production and prepared us for the upcoming Way of the Cross.

I love this church because, well, it's a beautiful church. But not only is it beautiful, it's really close to my house, there is ample parking, the priest is nice most days, although when I first met him he seemed to be a little bit judgemental which is not the best quality in a priest, and the 2 women who work there in the office are so friendly and accommodating! I feel bad for not giving a full 5 star rating but I'm just trying to be honest here. I don't like the fact that many times I wanted to go in and light a candle or say a prayer or whatever, or just to go inside for some calm quiet time and the doors are locked! I'm not talking about 10 p.m or midnight but some days it could be the middle of the day or early evening. I understand that the priest doesn't live there but I believe that a church should be open 24 hours a day, just like some churches are! After all, people go to a church sometimes in their most troubling moments, and nobody knows when that is going to be. Also, one last thing is the parking and the way some of the patrons park. Some people find it easier to park in front of the church along the road, seriously impeding traffic and actually making the road dangerous instead of walking a bit to the back of the large lot where like I said earlier, there is ample parking. And surprisingly I have seen that it's usually people in the 30 - 50 ish age group that seem to abuse the parking most. I see them fresh out of church driving like idiots , cutting in traffic, and not giving other people an opportunity to get in front of them because they are in such a hurry to leave the house where they just worshipped in, or maybe came to show off their new outfit or cars is more like it. Maybe if the hypocrites stayed home there would be plenty of parking, even more than is usually available for the people who really want to be there. Get it together people, and be nicer to one another!

This restaurant is in the Mc Micheal Art Gallery. A very airy, bright and clean establishment. Prices and portions are reasonable and the service is very quick. A nice way to finish or start your day at the gallery.

The place has a nice atmosphere, but the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. The “tuna salad” seemed to be on a quest to find its tuna — just a few leaves of arugula, a couple of olives, and a lonely slice of egg. The dessert was beautifully decorated… but vanished in two bites! A charming presentation, though I left wishing for a bit more substance.

The CABIN Café at the McMichael Art Gallery in Kleinburg was a delightful discovery during our visit. After exploring the gallery, sitting down to a meal here felt like the perfect way to wrap up the experience. The menu offers a mix of comfort food and creative dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Their Cabin Cheeseburger burger with crispy kettle chips was flavorful and satisfying, and the smoked trout toast stood out as a personal favorite with its fresh and vibrant taste. Another highlight was the truffled grilled cheese was indulgent, paired beautifully with curried ketchup and pesto sauces, while the pictured avocado toast with a side of crisp salad was equally enjoyable. On another earlier visit, I tried the Tuna Nicoise Salad, a refreshing and light option, while my companion had the Chopped kale, cabbage, Beet Hummus salad, which was crisp and flavorful. To top it off, a cappuccino paired with a slice of chocolate XO cake made for a satisfying late-afternoon treat. The café's welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and stunning views from the picture windows added to the charm. Whether you're hungry after a gallery tour or just in the area, the CABIN Café is a must-visit!

We popped into the small cafe at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg, in the city of Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, on an afternoon the other day after a three-hour tour of the gallery. The space was fine - with big windows offering good views of the Humber River Valley. We had avocado toast, chopped salad and chocolate brownie with coffee. They also have truffle grilled cheese, smoked fish toast and cabin cheeseburger. The service was warm and relaxed - perfect for a slow afternoon between gallery strolls.

We spent the morning touring the gorgeous gallery, enjoying every part of it. We determined lunch would be at The Cabin Restaurant. Three of us ordered the Cobb Salad. Disappointing at best. A scant amount of pre-cooked plumped chicken, a small boiled egg, a little bit of blue cheese and a dollop of mashed avocado with a tiny amount of unrecognizable dressing, but they did top it off with a fair amount of bacon. For $24, they need to try harder. One person ordered the Tuna Niçoise which is called that for the small, specific Niçoise olives, sadly replaced by Queen, pimento stuffed olives. The seared fresh tuna looked good, all in all, the Niçoise is better value than the sad Cobb. Service was good, and the espressos and cappuccino were great.

Today was cold and rainy. I ordered the chicken dumplings which were delicious. We had the tuna nicoise. Yum. That is all had it ẅith a glass of red gamay...mmm A skated dessert of chocolate cake with another glass of gamay... superb service

We were lucky to be seated promptly. They do fill up quickly. We have the kids meal hamburger, chicken fingers and both had a side of fries. The hamburger was disappointing. Would not recommend the flavor was not there and the bun was not that great. The chicken tender I would recommend. Well seasoned and crispy. Fries were good. I thank our server who recommended the piripiri chicken. Wow. Presentation was nice and flavor were spot on. Would highly recommend this dish.

I went into Subway today for lunch and ordered the 6-in assorted. I noticed there was some meat left over from the last 6 in but it was gray. I don't know how old the meat was but it was noticeable that the meat underneath it was pink and what she was serving me was gray. I asked her about it and she said that's normal. I asked how come all the other cold cuts are pink and what she's serving me is gray. I asked for different cold cuts. Her and the manager gave me attitude the whole time. I was trying to be as polite as possible. Don't eat here. They're more concerned about saving a couple bucks and serving their customers old meat when they're whole slogan is supposed to be fresh. The fact that they're serving their customers old meat that's gone bad is really concerning. How do you not know that when your meat goes gray it's no longer good. I should have walked out of the store but ended up just paying for my sub and not eating it.

I ordered rotisserie chicken sandwich last night and there was barely any chicken inside. I pretty much paid $15 for bun and some veggies. This is discussing.

Subway deals are scam. Buy any footlong and get one free dela only works for the the cheapest subs. Went to the store to ask if it could be applied to other subs and was declined. What's the point of the deal if u can't apply it to all subs?

Horrible experience, food was fine. The lady her name was Chetna preparing our subs was horrible. She was rude, ignored us and had such an attitude. Never coming back here again that’s for sure!

Great Italian dining with nice Chianti wine

We recently married and chose to have a very private, intimate wedding. We had the ceremony and dinner reception at Avlyn Gardens. We couldn't have been happier. The restaurant had such a beautiful ambience and was professionally decorated by our event planner. The food was fantastic and we have received so many compliments. All the staff were so friendly and professional. Special thanks to Marco the Head Chef & Milena the manager for helping making our day so perfect. Would definitely highly recommend for your function.

This place is really all about the food. And that's because the service was crap. But I didn't even care because the quality of the food was so out of this world. Every bite melted in my mouth. Every flavour was on point. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I had the calamari and it was the most succulent, mouth watering, non cliché calamari I've ever had. Best by far of all time. Also had the mushroom risotto and gnocchi and both were a major success for my palate. Best advice is to make a reservation because this place seems to always be full. It's a very quaint restaurant in an old converted farm house. Space is limited and seating is tight. If you book well enough in advanced, you can get a seat on the outside patio facing the gardens! <3

Wonderful dining experience! The team at Avlyn Gardens are fantastic and served a beautiful dinner for our family function in March. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommended for private functions or a great afternoon lunch in charming town of Kleinburg! :)

Food was very good! The atmosphere was amazing too. The gnocchi was very well cooked and tasted AMAZING! My only complaint is that some of the portions can be a bit small, but I’ll definitely be coming back.

By far my favorite restaurant. The building itself is absolutely charming, and the patio is very nice. The patio backs on to a garden that you can sit, or go for a walk in. The servers are all professional waiters and are extremely personable. The food is excellent, I personally have either lamb or steak of some form for a main. Highly recommended.

The store has been newly renovated. Much more open space for Shoppers to Mill around and especially in front of the mirror. Stars meat Lane displays are well organized. Closing is more for the mature woman in style. A large range of purses but unfortunately not for me. Colors of clothes tend to be more on the winter color palette lots of black white navy red. If you're looking for MDF jeans they are here.

If I could give a zero score I would. Horrible rude people work there. Very stuck up. Lady with grey hair is just not someone you want in customer service. I would never go and buy anything from them.

Heritage home turned into restaurant. Frontage, street view and interior is charming, cozy, romantic and enjoyable. Food was delicious, spacially lamb shank was best.

Very bad food. And the staff is the worst I've seen anywhere!!! Swearing at us and using the F-word in front of children!!! Telling us we have to leave because they have a party to set up for meanwhile another table was not rushed simply because they're regulars and they know them!!! The owner's response to his extremely rude staff was that they were "stressed"!!!!! They should have a sign "no kids allowed" because they were upset we had kids with us!!!!!! On top of all, they're extremely expensive... so NOT WORTH IT!!!

A total experience !!!! From the moment we opened the front door we were met with a charming and gracious greeter.Without hesitation were were seated in the quaint quiet clean inner room at a table with crisp white linen and flawlessly sparkling tableware. A second waiter appeared and as much as the first seemed to truly enjoy being of service. Refreshing !!! The pre-meal bread tasted freshly baked and tastefully toasted. Butter was artfully presented SOFT and spreadable. No waiting!!! My walnut-encrusted salmon was warm tender and flakey. Yum. For my vegan son they creatively customized a dish that was luscious yet nutritious/perfect pasta tossed with loads of veggies and bathed in rosee sauce straight from the chef as not on the menu. Throughout the meal empty dishes vanished effortlessly so the table never got crowded. Wait time was minimal. We were never rushed to leave after coffee. It was as if someone cared about what was served and how it was served-----Gordon R. might actually have been pleased. We will visit again----with friends. Thank you Chartreuse for completing my Mother's Day.

Worst customer service ever! It's not a restaurant that is children friendly nor was it accessible. No change tables for babies, no accessible washrooms. To top it off, we had an extremely rude and racist server. From the minute we arrived (1:30pm) he was trying to get us to leave in order to prepare for his 4 pm reservation. We were ready to leave by 3:29 pm, as he had requested. When the server walked in to clear the table, he was swearing in front of children (using the f word). When we complained to the owner, he tried to justify his server's actions by saying they're under stress. The server refused to give us his name, but the owner called him Serge. His colleague who joined the argument and was equally rude was called Milan. If you have children or are not Caucasian, I would advise against attending this restaurant. They yelled at us and repeatedly swore in our presence, all in front of children! Their lack of professionalism was appalling. None of the other caucasian customers received the same treatment, even though a few were still present when we were leaving. I never made a racial allegation before, while living in Canada.

Came here for a nice evening to spend and have a dinner with my husband. Ordered escargot to start which were ok, lacking a little bit of salt but no problem. Ordered a bottle of Pinoit Grigio house wine which we were told by the waiter it was $10. Had a nice meal, I ordered liver very tasty and my husband ordered filet mignon wrapped in bacon very small portion, not for a man that's for sure, gave half of my meal to him. When it came to our bill that's when everything went down the hill. Our waiter charged my husband for a steak dinner which we never ordered and our house wine turned from 10 bucks to 31 dollars. We got the steak dinner removed and didn't touch the wine price as my husband didn't want to look cheap as it was our first time there and new residents to Kleinburg which we adore! Overall, it looked that the waiter wanted to rip us off knowing that we've never been here or for any other matter, who knows. It's upsetting that new customers get treated like this as I saw regulars entering the restaurant and knowing everyone I'm sure they weren't being cheated on their bills like us. Even though I want to support the businesses in our new little city I don't think I can persuade my husband to return to this place.

I came here with my parents 4 years ago and we were amazed at the service, food and atmosphere. We decided to spend my mother's 60th birthday here and it got even better than before. Highly recommend it.

I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AGAIN. This place is the most unaccommodating and inconsiderate place I have ever been. I decided to try them because they looked good and I called to book an appointment. The woman who answered the phone told me to come at 1pm TODAY and i checked to make sure if it really was the same day as I was calling and she said yes come now. When I showed up, I had to wait for an entire 30 minutes in the reception until they deigned to ask me when my appointment was. I told them I had called earlier that day and the lady had told me to come for 1pm. When they realized that THEY had made an error in reading the online booking system and that the 1pm slot for the next day was available she BARELY APOLOGIZED to me and said that I could come back another day. She could have apologized more profusely or even offer a discount because of the great inconvenience and clear inconsideration towards me but clearly she did not care about having my business. It's not about the error but the lack of hospitality this place offered me.

It was disappointing. On pictures It appeared similar to Unionville in Markham . But it is not even close. A couple of old homes , a couple of ice cream shops, maybe a restaurant or two. Expect to spend there 15ish minutes , no longer than that

Some of the buildings here have historical value, so minor changes are allowed. Unfortunately this has more cons than pros...the bathrooms for instance...wanna see some fat and juicy earwigs? How about a smell that brings you back to your childhood 🤔 . Do you perhaps mind having flies join your visit whilst you sit on the porcelain throne? Man there are so many nice buildings here...I just wish the owners would be allowed to renovate the facilities....or clean them with harsher chemicals at least...for the love of Pete.

Nice small town with a few cafes and Italian restaurants. It’s not much to do but we went to gallery and visited local library.

Had lunch at Avenue Italian restaurant. Excellent wood fired oven pizza. Great fried zucchini pasta-so delicious. Their mushroom appetizer was so tasty I could have made a meal out of it and I'm not a vegetarian! Fantastic and personable server too !

I shop at Ambiance in Kleinburg often. Rita is Fantastic with her customers. I love shopping at Ambiance. They carry the latest fashion from clothing, purses, shoes/boots and amazing jewelry. Rita is always friendly and professional. She goes over and above pleasing her customers. It feels great when family and friends ask "wow you look great...where did you buy that ..."', and I proudly smile and reply "Ambiance in Kleinburg".

Extremely rude owner! Literally slammed the door on my son as we we were ready to walk into the store. Our offense? We both had a drink in our hand. She should have approached her potential customers but being polite and simply stating that they have a no food or drink policy. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS RETAILER!

The owner is unbelievably rude. I was there with my family last week, listening to a young woman who was singing beautifully outside on the CITY property, and the owners came out and sprayed down the steps to get everyone to leave. Not to mention, this was hours AFTER their store had already closed, the crowd was not blocking potential customers from entering. Its ridiculous, you would think that they would want to encourage something so remarkable, it would be a form of positive attention for their store. Instead, it was just shocking how unkind and discourteous their intent was. If I ever need to go boutique shopping, I will definitely be going somewhere else. I'd much rather buy something from someone who is kind, appreciative, and respectful of others.

Extremely rude owner, a busker was playing in legal public property, obeying all the proper laws. Comes out and tells her to leave, heard they will water their steps so people wont sit on them. Also clothes look tacky.

I must say its a boutique like no other! The service is friendly and inviting......The collections are unique .... So whatever your looking for.....your sure to fine it there.....And as for no beverages allowed in the store.... Come on it only common sense !!!!
