Communications tower
The CN Tower is a must-see landmark in Toronto, standing at over 553 meters tall. It's known for its glass floor and revolving eatery offering panoramic views of the city. Visitors can also experience EdgeWalk, a thrilling hands-free walk around the outside ledge of the tower. As one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, it's a Canadian icon and symbol of Toronto.
A overwhelming experience for me as a photography buff. The views offered are simply awesome, you can see the surrounding as if from flight, don't forget to make a time lapse movie that would make you proud. CN tower of Toronto, being the highest man made structure from its completion in 1976 to 2007 when Burz Khalifa became tallest. The highest level that a visitor can go is 457 meters from bottom, total height being 553 meters. There is a revolving restaurant at 355 meters. You can sit near the window and enjoy the 360° view where skyscraper buildings of 60+ floors appear small below while dining. The height affects air pressure and feels like being in a flight. The views from CN tower lift while ascending itself is quite rewarding. You are arriving main deck, you get free access to observation deck and glass window floor to look through and stand on the glass panels which offer the view if ground floor from 350 meter level. There you can buy the top deck ticket for 12 CAD and ride another lift to go to 450 meter level which is highest visitors can go. Nice view from there also, you can see two rail stations, lots of highways, Billy airport and numorous skyscrapers along with beautiful lake. You can also feel little sway at top deck that adds to the wow. Tip - you can reserve the table at 360 restaurant in advance, can skip the line while entering tower, get free access to main observation deck and very good dining experience on the price of minimum 75 CAD spent per head in restaurant, where as you can buy a 80 CAD ticket for CN tower entry, long line with free vitamin D greets you and you have to spend extra on food with limited seating, access to only main deck levels and still have to pay 12 CAD extra for top deck. So, booking a table in 360 works out to be more rewarding.

Obviously this place has an amazing view. I ordered an old fashioned. It was perfectly made. My food was amazing. I got the multi-course meal that included an appetizer, the main dish, and a dessert. It was definitely on the pricey side. For one person with a good solid tip and of course the alcoholic drink. My total bill was about $160. That said the view is amazing. The service was great. The food was amazing. Absolutely worth every bit of it and it was a great evening to myself with a beautiful sunset. I highly recommend getting reservations and I would also recommend to look and see what time is sunset is and get there about a half hour before

I recently visited the CN Tower with a group of friends on a weekday, and it was an unforgettable experience! We decided to buy our tickets online beforehand, which meant we didn't have to wait in long lines. This definitely helped make the whole experience smoother and more enjoyable from the start. The moment we stepped into the lift, the excitement was already building up. The staff in the elevator were not just professional but also incredibly funny and engaging, which added an unexpected and delightful touch to the ride. The fast ascent gave us a sense of anticipation, and the view as we reached the top was nothing short of breathtaking. From the observation deck, the city sprawled beneath us like a living, breathing landscape. The buildings seemed to stretch endlessly, while the cars and vehicles below appeared as tiny moving dots—it's amazing how perspective shifts when you're so high up! The day view was spectacular, offering a clear, panoramic look at Toronto's impressive skyline, and we could see all the way to Lake Ontario. But what really made the experience even more magical was seeing the city transition as the sun began to set. Watching the sky change from golden hues to the deep blues of night, the lights of the city flickering to life below, was truly mesmerizing. One of the highlights of our visit was the chance to see the vastness of Lake Ontario. The enormous water body stretched out endlessly, and you could almost feel the peace that it brought to the bustling city. It’s hard to put into words how incredible it felt to take in such a stunning sight from such a height. While we soaked in the views, we also treated ourselves to some delicious food at the restaurant, which had its own glass floor. Dining while looking out over the entire city, surrounded by the endless sky and twinkling lights, made the meal even more memorable. Everything down below seemed so small and far away—the buildings, the busy streets, even the people—all of it felt like a different world from up there. It was a perfect blend of nature, cityscape, and human activity, all from the comfort of the CN Tower. The whole experience left us with a sense of awe and wonder, and we all agreed it was a memory we’d cherish. Whether you're a local or a tourist, the CN Tower offers a truly unique way to experience the city of Toronto. It’s a place where the beauty of the skyline meets the serenity of the natural world, making for an unforgettable visit. I can’t wait to go back again—this time maybe to see the city from the glass floor! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an incredible view, great food, and a fun, memorable experience.
Raveena B — Google review
We enjoyed the beauty of the tower. We opted for the trip to the top. It's a tad overrated. The clouds at the top made getting good pictures a difficult task. The elevator is super crowded, but very fast. The staff members are kind, respectful and helpful. I think going to the observation deck would have been a better option for us. It is lit beautifully at night from the outside. The glass floor and big beautiful images behind it were fun!
Amie S — Google review
I visited the CN Tower with my family a few years back, and the view from the top is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. You really get to see the city from a whole new perspective. Standing on the glass floor was both exciting and a little nerve-wracking. I definitely felt a bit anxious looking straight down, but it was a fun and memorable experience. It’s one of those iconic spots in Toronto that’s worth visiting once. Whether you go during the day or at night, the view is stunning either way.
NJ C — Google review
The CN Tower is a must-see! A unique place any time of year. The view from the top is indescribable – the entire city looks like a scale model, with Lake Ontario stretching out to the horizon. The biggest attraction? The glass floor, which you step onto with a little trepidation, but then burst into a broad smile 😄 The whole experience was perfectly organized and with very friendly service. It's worth buying tickets online. If you're in Toronto, you simply can't miss it! I recommend it to anyone who wants to see Toronto from a completely different perspective. An unforgettable experience!
Apartamenty S — Google review
My first time experience here was amazing. The walk to the restaurant is a little bit much but once you are in the building it’s actually pretty neat. You go up the sky lift that gives you amazing views of the city and immediately out of the elevator you are guided and seated to you seat. Now I did make reservations that were honored so I’d recommend making arrangements ahead of time, we were there for a birthday and they accommodated my wishes of acknowledging the special with a cute placard and a special desert for his birthday with a cute placard. The food however was 10/10 I had the lamb shank and grits, with a deconstructed Caesar salad. Everything tasted great even my guys food was good he opted for the seafood route with a lobster style meal and Brussels. I can say 10/10 even our waiter was attentive and helped up pick out items and plan our meal accordingly. I missed his name but he was amazing and well wishes to him. I inquired about if there were any semi sweet wines and he recommended me one and even let me sample it ! Of course it was amazing right from Canadian vineyards which was a plus. I’d definitely recommend if you are okay spending a good penny.

We absolutely loved this experience and we're going to come back to do it again. We enjoyed everything about it. We were able to walk up and buy tickets, there was no wait. I was truly surprised by the size of the tower. The views were incredible and there's an art exhibit. I don't want to give it all away but this was worth every penny.

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, located in downtown Toronto near the Rogers Centre and CN Tower, is a modern and expansive indoor aquarium showcasing thousands of marine species. From barracudas to rays, jellyfish, octopi, moray eels, and giant sharks, the aquarium offers a diverse range of sea creatures. Visitors can enjoy educational behind-the-scenes tours, interactive displays, and even in-water experiences with Cownose and Southern Stingrays.
Fabulous fabulous fabulous. An aquarium whose glasses are as clean as it could be, no fishy smell and despite of its size it is quite difficult to maintain that. There is a huge filtration plant at work that contributes to it but that is only one part. The staff efforts are the main hero here. That's first fabulous. Second fabulous is the variety of fresh water and marine life available to see. From tiny fish and other life forms, to huge animals that are a sight to behold in a aquarium environment. Just visit to see the variety. Lots if information displayed about natural habitat, needs of conservation etc. And the third fabulous the concept itself. The glass tunnel inside tanks where you can enter to see the creatures all around yourself, the moving conveyor to felicitate the smooth flow of visitors without crowding or obstruction of view, the open tank concept where you can dip your hand in water to touch some of the creatures, the decor that is inspired by marine life forms and upkeep, all are good. There is a separate section for aquatic or amphibious, reptiles like crocs and caymans. Plenty of offerings for children to play constructively and a inside eatery as well souvenir shop to explore. Highly recommend. Buy tickets in advance to avoid wait, open time tickets available on line as well on spot.

We absolutely loved our experience! It was so much fun for everyone, and truly perfect for all ages — especially the kids. There were so many activities that kept them entertained and excited the entire time. Everything was well organized, clean, and safe, which made it easy for us to just relax and enjoy ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful, and you could tell they really cared about making sure everyone had a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back — such a wonderful place for families to make memories together!

Ripley’s Aquarium is an amazing place for families. My son loved watching the stingrays — you can see them from above (bird’s-eye view) in open water, just a few feet away. The kids’ section has a small filtration system for play purposes, where children can learn how water moves through the aquarium. It’s educational, fun, and a great way for kids to explore and understand how filtration works. The place is clean, well-organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for both kids and adults!

Its a really cool, fairly big aquarium. It was a little cfowdwd, but other than that, it was fun. There were so many decorations and things to see, and unique sea creatures. The kids indoor playground looked fun, and all the tanks were very clean, and the creatures were well maintained. The only problem was the food. I there were more fikd options. The only cafeteria type food place only had a couple crowded tables, and barely had anything on the menu. But that wasnt enough to bring my rating down to a 4 stars, because the aquarium is so great. I love this place.
Eva B — Google review
Awesome for all ages. Plenty of seating arrangements for elders. Touching the sting ray is the best thing as a climax kids can have. My kids had an amazing day. The aquarium has a lot of variety of sea creatures . Moreover the way it has been presented is amazing. Information display is very clear and simple. Its worth the money. Memorable experience.

9:00 a.m. Toronto My CityPASS said I could visit Ripley’s Aquarium anytime, so with an hour to spare before my CN Tower reservation, I decided to head inside. I asked the girl scanning tickets how long it usually took to get through. She told me about an hour and a half. It was Monday morning, and the place was completely empty. It was quiet, the kind of quiet that hums in your chest. Just the low music and the faint whoosh of water cycling through the tanks. The blue light made everything look like it was breathing. I wandered slowly, taking in the small faces of the fish and the strange calm that filled the rooms. There was even a “quiet tent” set up for anyone who needed a break. I understood why. If I had another encounter with that sawfish staring at me like it was judging my entire existence, I’d need it too. For a quick stop, it ended up being one of the most peaceful hours of my trip so far.
Alduien — Google review
It was nice, but honestly, $56 for adults and $38 for children is way too expensive for what you offer. There were no glow fish, no dolphins, and not even a dolphin show. For the amount you charge, at least include some impressive or unique marine life that makes the visit feel worth the money. They seriously needs to improve its exhibits or reconsider its pricing it feels more like a tourist trap than an educational experience.
Maria K — Google review
One of the best Aquariums I have ever gone to. Great tour of the water life in Lake Ontario, this place taught me a lot about the creatures in the water. They have a great jellyfish exhibit which has glow in the dark jellyfish under blacklight which was an amazing experience. If you have never visited this aquarium I highly recommend you check this place out!

The Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto is a must-visit for hockey enthusiasts. It houses an extensive collection of hockey memorabilia, including famous gear and the prestigious Stanley Cup. As Canada's national sport, ice hockey has deep cultural roots in the country, and this museum serves as a sanctuary for fans to immerse themselves in the sport's history. Visitors can explore exhibits paying tribute to iconic players, watch videos showcasing legendary moments, and gain insight into the game's evolution over the years.
A must-visit in Toronto! The Hockey Hall of Fame is impressive for both die-hard fans and those just discovering the sport. You can get up close to the Stanley Cup, see historic memorabilia, and enjoy very well-designed interactive exhibits. You truly feel the passion of Canadian hockey. A memorable experience I highly recommend!

We had a fantastic visit to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. An absolute must for any hockey enthusiast or even casual sports fans. The exhibits are world-class, rich with history, and beautifully curated. Standing in front of the Stanley Cup and exploring the interactive displays was a highlight. The only disappointment was that the theatre was closed for a private function, which we only discovered after purchasing our tickets. It would have been helpful to know this beforehand. Overall, the experience was outstanding, and we highly recommend the Hockey Hall of Fame for an unforgettable glimpse into the sport’s greatest moments.
Christia Z — Google review
I'm not a massive hockey fan, but this museum was a great way to spend about 2-3 hours. Every gallery is filled with history, epic moments and team superstars. Jerseys covered hallway cabinets and screens showing the best plays were everywhere. I'm sure if your a hockey fan, you'd enjoy it even more. They also had a fairly large gift shop, with lots of NHL merchandise. My favourite section was definitely the hall of masks.
Charlie L — Google review
I spent all day here, from opening to close…to give a hint at how much I loved it here. Unlike the baseball and football halls of fame, which feel stuff, self-important, and frankly boring, the Hockey Hall of Fame is bright, vibrant, with loads of ways to explore and interact within the museum thanks to QR codes and “quests” to complete. See Rocket Richard’s 500th goal puck? Scan to QR code to watch the goal! Find a cool artifact and want to learn more? You can watch the conservator talk more about it. Beyond the 100+ year history of hockey as a sport and the NHL in general are also games where you can shoot a foam puck on goalies…or become a goalie yourself! And I haven’t yet gotten to the Great Hall, a former bank turned into a stunningly gorgeous “cathedral to hockey”, with the famous Stanley Cup and other trophies. The old bank vault now holds the most historic of treasures, a fun touch! Absolutely anyone can come in here and have fun. NOTE: the HHOF is in the basement of the Brookfield Building. There are signs all over telling you how to get to the entrance (but you will head downstairs). When you buy your ticket, your hand gets stamped for reentry…the basement of Brookfield Building has a food court with well over a dozen stalls, perfect for lunch or a snack.
Michelle T — Google review
It’s not getting any better then this. I’ve you like, watched, played or heard about it. Go there and experience this awesome collection of memorable. It’s interactive and so so nice. Shot pucks or watch the Stanley cup and all the other trophies, a wall of goalie masks and a full lockerroom
PJ — Google review
I’ve been coming here since I was young, and it never disappoints. There’s so much to do and see, with an incredible amount of hockey history on display. The interactive section with shooting and goalie saves is a blast—always a hit with kids, and big kids like me! The gift shop is awesome, full of memorabilia and souvenirs for hockey fans. This is an absolute must-visit for any hockey fan!
Mike J — Google review
I visited the Hockey Hall of Fame last week during a day off in downtown Toronto, and it honestly surprised me in the best way. I’m not even the biggest hockey expert, but the place pulls you in immediately. The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by historic jerseys, sticks, and stories from different eras of the sport. The layout is easy to follow, and the staff are friendly without being overbearing. One of my favourite parts was the interactive area. The goalie simulation is harder than it looks—I missed more shots than I care to admit, but it was fun and made the experience feel more lively, not just like looking at displays. The Stanley Cup vault was another highlight. Seeing the original bowl and all the engravings up close felt special, especially if you’ve only ever seen the Cup on TV. The building itself is beautiful. The old bank architecture mixed with the modern exhibits gives it a unique charm. I also appreciated how clean and well-kept everything was, even on a busy afternoon. There’s a small shop on the way out with decent souvenirs. Prices are typical for tourist spots, but nothing outrageous. Location-wise, it’s super convenient—right near Union Station and surrounded by plenty of food options. I spent about two hours inside, but you can easily stay longer if you’re a hardcore fan. Overall, whether you love hockey or just want a memorable Toronto experience, it’s absolutely worth the visit.
Atikur R — Google review
Very nice experience, worth the price if you are a fan of professional hockey. I removed a star because I was hoping for more hockey history outside professional organized play. I also think there should be way more seating spots since there is so much to read and many people were older and visibly tired. I still appreciated the visit a lot.

Bar & grill
The Loose Moose, also known as the Antler Room, is a popular 2nd-floor spot near the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Since its establishment in 1989, it has been a go-to destination for locals and visitors looking for a relaxed and casual environment to enjoy drinks and watch sports games. The bar boasts an extensive selection of draft beers, including over 30 Ontario craft beers along with domestic and international options.
Loose Moose / Antler Room is our go-to gathering spot downtown. The vibe is lively without being chaotic, perfect for catching up over great drinks and comfort food. We love the rotating taps, creative cocktails, and shareables—wings, nachos, and sliders never miss. Staff are upbeat and on the ball, even when it’s packed, and there’s always a good playlist (plus plenty of screens for game nights). Whether it’s a quick after-work meet or a longer hang with friends, it always feels easy, fun, and welcoming. Our downtown default—for good reason.
Jianshu C — Google review
Visited The Loose Moose recently and had a pretty good experience overall. The place has a lively and energetic atmosphere — perfect for a casual night out with friends. The ambience was excellent, with a rustic pub-style vibe, great music, and a welcoming crowd. It’s the kind of spot that feels vibrant without being overwhelming. I ordered the Calamari and Nachos to start with. The nachos were definitely the highlight — served in a good portion size, well-layered with cheese, toppings, and accompanied by fresh dips. They were crisp, flavorful, and great for sharing. The calamari, however, was disappointing. It came out as small fried rings, and the portion felt underwhelming for the price. It lacked the texture and flavor you'd expect from a good calamari dish. Honestly, it felt like a bit of a waste of money, especially when compared to the quality of other items on the menu. That said, the service was fantastic — the staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to check in and bring everything out in good time. It really helped elevate the overall experience. If you’re going for the vibe, drinks, and pub classics like nachos or wings, Loose Moose is a solid pick. Just be mindful when trying some of the smaller appetizer items. I’d still recommend it and would definitely return to explore more of the menu.

The Loose Moose is a classic staple in Toronto. Unfortunately, I had never been until this last Friday and boy have I been missing out! The food was outstanding! I got The Woody burger and it was so delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and the flavours were outstanding. I brought my whole family there and they all loved their meals also. My mother could not get over how great her Cobb salad was. She kept talking about how good the cheese was, all the flavours, how moist the grilled chicken was and how fresh the other ingredients tasted. I haven't heard her boast about a meal like that in forever so it made me happy bringing her somewhere she enjoyed the food so much. The atmosphere was fun and exciting, except it was really loud. Definitely a place for a younger crowd as having conversation was difficult at times with how loud the music was. I would have taken more photos but the food didn't last long enough for me to do so...all I got for food was these maple bacon doughnuts which were delicious. The rest of the food didn't last long enough for photos! Prices were fantastic for the food but the liquor was a bit overly expensive. My wife's 2 Old Fashions were over $30! Thanks Loose Moose for a great meal and experience!

Wed night walk-in and we decided to sit at the bar to grab a quick bite and libations. Amy at the bar was cute and friendly and we stuck with local lagers which included Canadian Lager and Moosehead Lager - both really easy to drink. For food, I got the Spicy Mexican Rice Bowl ($21.21) with Tofu tossed in Buffalo sauce - Amy's recommendation to toss the Tofu with something, and that did the magic! Big portion size, but good on flavor. I couldn't finish the plate though! Noise levels got louder as the night progressed and it was kind of difficult to have a conversation while seated at the bar. Perfect place if you are looking for some good drinks and bar eats!

After a day trip to Niagara Falls, I hopped on the two-hour train back to Toronto, arriving at Union Station around 7:45 pm. Hungry, thirsty, and in need of a good spot, I wandered just 150 meters from the station — and there it was: The Loose Moose. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I’d stumbled upon a gift from the gods. I ordered their loaded nachos with extra guacamole, plus BBQ chicken. My friend went for the “Woods” Burger. Every bite was spot on — fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The sauces they serve with each dish aren’t just an afterthought; they elevate the whole experience. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and the staff are nothing short of excellent — friendly, attentive, and quick to make you feel at home. Then there are the beers. If anyone doubts Canada’s brewing game, The Loose Moose is the place to set them straight. The variety and quality on tap are impressive, with something for every taste. Whether you’re just off the train or exploring downtown, this spot delivers on food, drink, and good vibes. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit.

Spotted in before a blue jays game and our server was fantastic. She knocked it out of the park and was super friendly. Place was packed but still managed to get in and out quickly. Got the BBQ burger which was top tier. Double patties was nice. As well as poutine which was a great change of pace for a non local. Great stop before a jay’s game

We came here before we went to the leafs game. Good vibe in here & our server was very kind & knowledgeable. Rubbed us the wrong way that they were shutting down the entire restaurant at 6:15 for the games playing when they have a full upstairs as well as downstairs. Other than that, our food was good!

Uno Mustachio is a hidden gem in the St. Lawrence Market, offering delicious Italian sandwiches, pasta, and salads. In addition to its main location, it has a second spot in the Atrium on Bay's underground food court. The must-try item is the veal sandwich with mozzarella, tomato sauce, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, mushrooms and jalapenos. For an extra dollar, you can add fried eggplant to make it a 'Godfather.'
I tried the Chicken and Eggplant sandwich from Mustachio, and it was absolutely BIG!😁 You can really taste the quality. I added cheese and presto as toppings, and the flavors were spot on. Definitely one of the biggest and most satisfying sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend if you’re hungry and want something delicious and filling!

This place is definitely worth a visit! We had their Godfather sandwich, and it was really good – a tasty mix of chicken parm and eggplant. It was well-made, and the portion size is generous; it's enough for two people to share, which is great. The staff were also happy to cut it in half for us. Adding some pesto gives it a nice extra touch. The people working there were also really good – efficient, friendly, and helpful. I’d certainly recommend it, and I'll be going back. The Godfather sandwich is a solid choice, especially if you're looking for something substantial!

This place Uno Mustachio at St. Lawrence market one floor down. It looks busy on weekends and people lineup to get sandwiches or pasta. They have business for very long time and still popular 🍝🥪 too much white bread in every sandwich, I would not eat again.
Tati T — Google review
Very very busy sandwich (and pasta) stall - the lineup was very long. I ordered the veal parmigiano with all the toppings. Don't forget to add the mozzarella. It's a great veal sandwich. The meat is a proper cut that is properly battered & cooked, and not chewy poor meat like other places that make veal sandwiches. The sandwich is a good size too. $15 with the cheese. I will be back to have it again.
Chimaican C — Google review
I came here on a Sunday because of the vintage market and with an empty stomach and I still couldn't finish the sandwich and it must've weighted at least 5lbs with all the toppings they loaded. I was only able to eat half and save the rest for dinner. Good food but a bit messy so avoid wearing your nice clothes if you don't want to make the same mistake as me but that's on me. Will have to try the rest of the items on their menu.

This sandwich was one of the biggest things I have eaten, well almost eaten, it was too big to finish! The taste was excellent, the portion size was over the top, the staff were great and friendly. The line up was quite long but moved pretty quickly, but the food is definitely worth standing in line for!!
Darlene W — Google review
The meatball sandwich at Uno Mustachio is definitely the best meatball sandwich I've had. The meatballs were very delicious and the roll was very soft. Do yourself a favor and add cheese for that extra dose of flavor.
Ruben A — Google review
EASILY one of the BEST sandwiches I've had in Toronto!! 🥪 I got a veal sandwich! First of all, they don't skimp on the ingredients. The sandwich itself is so big, and it has so much fresh ingredients like tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, pesto, veal, and the star of the show - deep fried eggplant 🥹 You can taste the original flavors from all the ingredients, and the tomato sauce combines everything together and makes them all work together 🍅 They put the sauce in between each layer, which makes it truly amazing 😭👍 It's a MUST TRY!!

Day 2

Northwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northwest side side of town. Start the day off with Square One Shopping Centre, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Erindale Park. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Square One Shopping Centre

Shopping mall
Square One Shopping Centre, situated in Mississauga, Ontario, is a massive two-level indoor complex housing over 330 stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues. It has evolved into Ontario's largest shopping center and the second-largest in Canada since its establishment in 1973. The center offers an array of big-box anchor stores and brand-name clothiers alongside a diverse dining experience at the food court.
Square One is huge with tons of stores—Apple, Best Buy, Walmart, even Jollibee! Great lighting and air, but easy to get lost. Could use a small arcade or family space. Washrooms are okay. Bus terminal access is good but could be more seamless. Great interior design btw.
Ronel A — Google review
I usually go there mainly for the Rec Room, and it’s always a fun experience with family and friends. There are plenty of gaming options to choose from, which makes it exciting every time. Personally, I really enjoy bowling and basketball—they're my favorites! It’s a great place to spend quality time while enjoying a variety of indoor games. Definitely worth a visit!
Pinki G — Google review
Having visited Square One since my teenage years, I've seen it evolve into a premier shopping destination. The overall cleanliness is impressive, and the covered parking with its spot sensors is a welcome improvement. While the mall has grown, there are opportunities to enhance the visitor experience. I'd love to see fresh plants replace the plastic ones to make the space feel more vibrant. Utilizing empty spaces for new amenities like locker rooms or public art would also be a great addition. A nature path and more diverse food options in the food hall would also be nice. In terms of safety, a more visible security presence could help, perhaps supported by a dedicated app with a low-digit phone number for reporting issues. Additionally, electric shuttle cars would be a valuable addition for people with low mobility, helping them navigate the vast space. Overall, Square One has done an excellent job, but as Canada's largest mall, there's always room for continued improvement.

Square One is a massive retail hub, often cited as the second-largest shopping centre in Canada, after West Edmonton Mall. It boasts over 2.2 million square feet of retail space and houses a vast array of stores, including many luxury brands, attracting millions of visitors annually. It's also at the heart of the "Square One District" development, which is transforming the surrounding 130 acres into a vibrant mixed-use community. Just come ready to shop and other extra curricular activities
Obinna D — Google review
Great mall for shopping - many stores to shop at whether you want clothes, technology, or any other stuff. It also has a Walmart for general shopping, a Dollarama, an Apple store and many restaurants and fast food places. I would recommend eating at the Food District which has many amazing restaurants with high-quality food. In particular, I recommend eating at Dal Moro’s Fresh Pasta To Go. It had the greatest pasta I’ve ever tasted in my life, and my kids absolutely loved it! It can be found at the end of the food district or right at one of the entrances of the mall.
Max N — Google review
With over 340 stores under one roof, this expansive shopping mall in Mississauga offers a wide range of shopping, dining, and entertainment options for visitors of all ages. From major international retailers to unique local boutiques, there’s something here for every taste and budget. Just two blocks away, you’ll find a Cineplex cinema where you can catch the latest blockbuster movies—making it easy to turn a shopping trip into a full day of fun and relaxation. The mall also offers free, well-maintained parking lots, which make visiting hassle-free, whether you’re stopping by for a quick purchase or planning to spend several hours exploring. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises, allowing you to stay connected while you shop, dine, or wait for friends. While the level of customer service can vary depending on the store, many staff members are helpful and friendly. Above all, the mall’s central and easily accessible location makes it a go-to destination for both locals and visitors alike.

Plenty of different shops and a good mix of options. It gets pretty busy on Saturdays, but the atmosphere is lively and happening. Much better vibe compared to Scarborough Town Centre.

This mall is Great. Has everything you need. Great food court. Clean facility. Clean washrooms. Great restaurants. The mall layout is nice and easy to get around. Season themes are nice. Bus terminal adjacent. Lots of parking but still very difficult to find parking on weekends. The area can get very congested. Free mall WiFi is hit or miss. Many clean washrooms and water fountains available throughout the mall. Nursing area available as well. Police station attached.

Nature & Parks
Kariya Park, located in Mississauga, Ontario, is a picturesque Japanese-style garden that pays homage to the city's sister city relationship with Kariya, Japan. The park boasts a serene atmosphere and features Japanese trees, statues, a zen garden, and a pond inhabited by koi fish and turtles. Visitors can enjoy the stunning magnolia and Japanese cherry blossoms in spring or the tranquil winter scene with ducks on the pond and snow-dusted trees.
It is a good, small and a cute place to hang out. The park is quite small but picturesque. The ponds look good but not clean enough. You can usually see ducks and turtles in the ponds. You can see the most beautiful trees at this park. It gets quite busy during cherry blossom season. Better to go early in the morning or late in the evening.
S A — Google review
Kariya Park is a hidden gem in the heart of Mississauga. This beautiful Japanese-inspired garden offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The park features picturesque ponds, charming bridges, and lush greenery, all thoughtfully designed to create a calming space. The cherry blossom trees are a highlight, especially in the spring when they’re in full bloom, but the park is lovely year-round. It’s a great spot for a quiet walk, a picnic, or even some meditation. There’s ample space to sit and enjoy the surroundings, and it’s a popular spot for photographers and nature lovers alike. While the park is on the smaller side, it’s well-maintained and offers a tranquil experience without needing to travel far from the city center. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat!

I discovered Karina Park during the pandemic when everything was in lockdown. I have been to the park several times over the past 3 years. It’s a lovely, serene, Zen park for those who want to be in nature to slow down their day, meditate, or just enjoy some quiet time. Pros: It’s a small park without large crowds, electric scooters zipping by, or dogs (I love dogs but even dog parents need a little break). Lovely ponds with ducks and turtles. Cons: It is near Celebration Square and Square One so when there is something going on there, you might hear noise. Overall, a nice space for anyone to relax and enjoy peace in nature. Mornings are best for quiet relaxation. Spring and fall will offer more varied colours for flowers and trees.

There is a dreamy park located just outside Toronto that is characterized by endless cherry blossoms, making visitors feel like they have embarked on a spring journey to Japan. With cherry blossoms soon to bloom all over the city, it's fun to plan a trip to the enchanting Kariya Park. Visitors will stroll among Japanese buildings and nearly 80 dreamy cherry blossom trees filled with pink and white flowers. Kariya Park is located in Mississauga and named after the city of Kariya in Japan. It also features an attractive bridge over a pond that offers stunning views of the cherry blossom trees. The best time to see the cherry blossoms in the park varies from year to year, as the flowers have just started to bud in the Toronto area, so stay tuned for peak bloom predictions. This beautiful little Japanese garden is an oasis in the city center, where one can walk through the gates and escape the city's hustle and bustle. There are beautiful ponds with water birds, and as you enter the park, the first thing you see is the traditional Japanese pavilion. This building is beautiful in itself, but what makes it particularly special is the meaning behind the structure. The pavilion has sides representing both Mississauga and Kariya, serving as a tangible symbol of the friendship between the two cities. Kariya Park is filled with walking paths, one of which leads to a bridge overlooking the pond, a famous spot for photos with views of the pavilion, pond, wildlife, and cherry tree. Mississauga is home to over 500 parks, and while Kariya Park is one of the most distinctive.
Shamsan A — Google review
This lovely little Japanese garden is an oasis in the middle of the city. It is located directly south of the Square One Shopping Centre. There is no washroom in the park so it can be difficult. You will also find cherry trees in Mississauga Kariya Park, and they bloom in the month of April end or May. cherry blossom time is perhaps the most popular time to visit. The main structural feature of the park is the Pavilion, a Japanese-style wooden building with two sections. One section represents Mississauga, and the other, Kariya. Right in the middle, you will find a large bronze bell called the friendship bell. Directly in front of the Pavilion is a large pond with a wooden bridge crossing over it. Here you will find lots of wildlife and wildfowl, everything from ducks and geese, to koi fish and turtles. The Statue of Friendship is a stone sculpture of a boy and a girl sitting together affectionately, with smiles on their faces. This one will definitely make you smile too. There is no parking space in the park and there is limited street parking. The place is accessible for old people and people with limited mobility.

KARIYA PARK Kariya Park is located at the heart of Mississauga. The City Centre - nearest to Square One Mall. I visited the Park last August 9, 2024, Friday afternoon. The Park features Japanese Garden, Pavilion, Walk ways, Duck Pond, Cherry Trees and most people coming to this place find solace to meditate or reflect. It's a small garden where you can sit quietly to find peace. This place has no parking lots. You can park along the road and pay for the parking. No entrance fees. In the entrance, you can see the sign that dogs are not allowed, bicycle riding, sport activities, feeding wildlife, picking flowers and no professional photography without permit. I think the Park will look gorgeous during the Cherry Blossoms.
Shirley J — Google review
Park was beautiful for it's size. Very calming atmosphere and a great location. This park has a couple of ponds with fish, ducks and turtles. The bell has a long history and is centered in the park next to the river. Good for family outings, kids and couples, or even a nice morning walk.
AM3 — Google review
It's not a park. Better to call it a 'yard'. Very very small area. Have nothing at all. Only a medium size cherry tree inside & three medium size magnolia tree before the entrance door. You can walk past the park just in two minutes, the area is that much small. No parking, no restroom, no pet allowed, only three benches, no picnic benches. Inside the park, two small ponds with small wooden bridge above, a statue, a large bell, a few trees & ducks on the ponds. That's it. If you saw some stupid reviews & think to watch cherry blossom at the park, Do Not Go There. It doesn't worth your time & money. Local people from the high rise buildings around the park, use the park as their yard.

Heartland Town Centre is a sprawling complex filled with a variety of stores, including big-box retail, hardware, furniture, and discount stores. Additionally, it offers an array of dining options. This shopping destination boasts an extensive range of shops and eateries that cater to all preferences. The layout is modern and the surroundings are spacious, creating an inviting and lively atmosphere for shoppers.
Heartland Town Centre is the ideal location for those seeking variety. Clothing stores, electronics, household items, groceries, and a number of eateries mean that there is something for everyone in this area. Each plaza has its own lot, making it simple to enter and exit, and parking is typically good. It can take some time to walk between the stores because it is rather dispersed, but driving makes it very convenient. Families, weekend shopping excursions, or simply running errands all at once will find this place to be ideal.

There are a lot of nice outlet stores! Parking is plentiful. It's quite a busy area, so beware of some people who clearly don't know how to drive properly or feel entitled. I got cut off 3 times in a parking lot despite having the right of way. I prefer to shop here during the week early mornings. Not so crazy and congested with traffic. Otherwise some great deals at this location.
Diana D — Google review
Heartland Town Centre in Mississauga is a huge outdoor shopping complex with over 180 stores, including big names like Walmart, Costco, and Winners. It’s great for variety — you’ll find everything from fashion to electronics, home goods, and dining. However, it’s very car‑centric and not pedestrian‑friendly. The stores are spread out across large parking lots, so walking between them can be inconvenient. Driving and finding parking is usually easy, but traffic can get heavy on weekends. In short: excellent for one‑stop shopping if you have a car, but not ideal for strolling or public transit users.

This is a huge open mall. They have Costco, Banana Republic factory, Mark's, DSW, Loblaws, Globo shoes, George Richards and many more. The prices are reasonable and you do get some deals. This mall is not part of Cadillac Fairview so do not expect a guest service counter. Tons of free parking!

Indian restaurant
Tandoori Flame is a sprawling Indian buffet and stylish bar with Indian-inspired cocktails in Mississauga. The restaurant has over 150 dishes to choose from, making it one of the best buffet deals around. The staff is extremely humble and courteous, and the atmosphere is positive. It was busy on Friday noon, but we were attended pretty consistently.
This place was absolutely amazing, and my server made the experience even better. The butter chicken was the highlight—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and flavor. Everything tasted fresh and full of authentic flavor. Faraz, my server, went above and beyond. He was friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu. His recommendations were spot on and made the whole meal even more enjoyable. From the service to the food, everything exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family.

Great dinner buffet with a lot of variety! Loved the wide selection of dishes, especially the chicken options — juicy, flavorful, and well-cooked. Plenty of choices for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Clean setup, friendly staff, and good value for the price. A special shoutout to Faraz for his warm and attentive service — made the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a filling meal!

Dont waste your time reading this review if you are vegetarian or cant handle any spice. We went on a Sunday 6 pm (not on a long Weekend), without any bookings and got the seat immediately without any reservation. Its a self service bouquet with over 30 items mainly from North Indian Cuisine, including soup, salad, starter, main course and desert. Cost of per person as of Nov 25 is around $45 (including tax) per person. We ordered a glass of coke which cost $5 and have one free refil. I tried to taste as many items as i can and these items are recommended as a must try in starters. Tandoori chicken Chapli kabab Chicken (Galawati kebab) Fried Fish Chicken Tikka Veg Kebab Soya manchurian Chicken manchurian Fried Rice (Basically whole starter section is worth it). Make sure you have Naan or assorted Bread with main course items listed below. Achari Lamb Patiala Chicken Amritsari Fish Lamb Curry I dont recommened any Veg item in main Course, butter Chicken and Chicken Biryani. In desert you can try Ice cream (any flavour), Mango Custard, Gulab Jamun, other i didnt try so go ahead. Overall taste is very good (some items taste like as they do in India, not all but some really do). Way better than any Indian bouquet i went too. Foe me the Atmosphere of the restaurant is one of its best attribute. This is a restaurant which you can recommend to anybody of any culture, especially to those who never tried Indian Cuisine before. Family, freinds, Colleagues, couple anybody can go there have a great time. Service is excellent, staff is helpful and well groomed. Whole place looks like a crew of professional, which is very rare to find these days especially as an Indian restaurant regardless of where itis, under this budget. Restaurant was clean, tidy and all of the items were made from high quality raw material. Last time i visted a restaurant like this was GT Road restaurant, Connaught place, Delhi. Overall this place is very well sorted and organised. You can tell by just having one expierence here that a lot of care and attention to detail went into the building of this place. Highly recommend. Only giving it 4 star in food because they doesn't have many veg options and the ones they have doesnt taste as good as their non veg items. Thankyou, have a good day.

I visited Tandoori Flame on a hot summer day with a hungry stomach without reservation. Received good customer service and excellent value for the money. The lunch buffet cost me @27 bucks with tax. The water bottle on the table is not included in the buffet price. The food was overall tasty. The salad was fresh and bread hot. The one thing I don't understand why they put rose petal in desserts, kheer, and custards, not a good idea for presentation. It took me some time to remove all rose petals and eat dessert. Overall, it was a good experience. Good value for money .
Saima K — Google review
I visited this buffet restaurant recently. The food was decent overall, though there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of taste. The service was friendly and attentive, which added to the experience. However, I felt the buffet didn’t quite justify the price. It’s worth trying once, but I wouldn’t consider it a go-to spot. The salad section was larger than necessary they could scale that down and offer more variety in the starters instead. One major disappointment was the dosa—the batter was far too sour, and it really took away from the dish. That’s something they definitely need to work on. Also, in the non-vegetarian main course, it would be great to see more rice options added for better variety. Overall, it’s an average place and with a few changes could really elevate the experience.

Fine dining restaurant
Nestled in the charming Erindale Village, Piatto is a delightful Italian restaurant that beautifully marries tradition with innovation. With its inviting ambiance featuring a cozy fireplace and walls adorned with wine racks, it feels like stepping into an Italian grandmother's home. For over 30 years, Piatto has been dedicated to serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine crafted from locally sourced ingredients.
Been dining few times in late 90’s moved away from Mississauga for a while but after 22 years I returned to this restaurant. I always loved their mushroom trumpet appetizer, sadly and obliviously they did not have that on their menu, regardless the service was amazing, food is still as good as it used to be…maybe even better. The décor still stayed the same. I’ve had such good memories from this place, I had my 17th birthday here way back when and visiting here today brought back good memories. Maybe this is my feeling talking and being bios but honestly it’s a good place to take your parents, family or colleagues. Long live Piatto ☺️

Fine Italian dining in Mississauga. Great atmosphere. Great food. Friendly staff. Rumor has it that this place will be closing down in a year and they're not sure whether they will reopen. Due to that I highly recommend dining here while they are still around because once they're gone, you'll never get to experience everything that is piatto bistro.

A fantastic lunch coupled with impeccable service made our day. We ordered an arugula salad with pear and stilton cheese; sauteed veal liver topped with a sherry sauce, accompanied with potatoes and steamed vegetables; a veal cannelloni; and profiteroles with ice cream and a hot chocolate sauce, complete with an espresso. The menu is lean which is often an early sign of a good restaurant. Everything was well-priced. Service was outstanding and we were taken care of from the moment we arrived to when we departed. Thank you to the staff for a great experience, delicious suggestions, perfect wine pairing, and a smile throughout. Italian class all the way!

Very good but inoffensive flavour. Needed had more spices or seasoning in both the Duck Confit and Bison Steak with fig. I've had better flavour for far less elsewhere. Still it's inoffensive and there's a large selection. Vegetables and potatoes were uninspired.

One of the best dining experience I have eve had. I went there with my husband on our marriage anniversary today. The food is way too good. If you have the appetite for good food please go there and enjoy. The service, the food quality, the ambiance everything is enjoyable I swear. Not to forget the awesome dessert vanilla panna cotta with raspberries, tastes delicious, I could eat 50 of those without any hitch. Highly satisfied. Price wise it’s expensive but worth every penny. 10th Dec, 2019 I have visited this place again with my husband and couldn’t be much happier again. It’s still the same in every way possible. The ambiance, the food, the servings, you name it. So much joy could only be received if you enjoy your food so much.😍 Not to forget the staffs, we had the same gentleman serving us from last time, we both felt really special this time as well.

Food was simple, but amazing! They pay attention to details that matter, like a little bit of butter on the pasta. Service was great as well.

I went to Piatto for Mother’s Day with my entire family. This year was a special one as we celebrated me being a new mom and also just thanking my mother for all the help and support she’s given me. However our experience was definitely not good. It’s 2019 and I swear there’s still racial discrimination. I walked in with my husband and daughter. Everyone who works there including servers and management all staring at us as if we’re foreigners and making it very obvious and uncomfortable as if we are out of place since we are a minority. If that isn’t enough I notice that every other guest was treated with more respect and care. They were told the features of the day. No one took the time to do that for us. The manager kept reminding me that we must be out before 7pm. Clearly all you care about is table turn overs and making money (which I totally understand) however don’t make it so damn obvious. Come on... Our food came out within like 10 minutes of ordering. Once again shows how you’re trying to rush us out. Server didn’t even care to come and ask us how our food was or how we’re doing (what a good server should technically do) this is the basics of serving. Therefore we decided to opt out in desserts and coffee which we would’ve usually done. But I didn’t want to spend another dollar there.I’ve been in the restaurant industry for over a decade. My husband and I own our own restaurant and the type of treatment we received I won’t go back for sure. Thank you Piatto for the bad experience. Definitely telling all of our friends family and guests not to visit this place !

Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar Square One is a part of a larger chain that takes pride in offering the best of Italian-inspired cuisine. The restaurant features elegant touches and brickwork, creating a lively setting to enjoy fresh pastas and homemade mozzarella. Although it's no longer at its original location, this spot offers incredible food such as the 3-Cheese Truffle Charity Bread and Straight Up Meatball. Visitors can expect friendly service and helpful recommendations from the staff.
Eric was my server today and he was the best! So kind and welcoming to me and my friend. He came around a few times to make sure everything came out good and tasted amazing! Eric made my experience here great and will definitely be back to visit him! Food and Quality was amazing. I recommend trying the mozzarella balsamic bread me and my friend ended up ordering two of them.

Exceptional Food and Fantastic Service! My girlfriend and I had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Scaddabush Square One, and it was a 5-star experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, setting the perfect stage for a wonderful evening out. A huge shout-out to our server, Kellie! She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made our experience so much better with her wonderful service and positive energy. "We gotchu" :P We started with a few appetizers, and they were all great. The cheese dip was sinfully delicious and creamy, the bruschetta was fresh and vibrant, and the broccolini was cooked to perfection. For our mains, my girlfriend got the Italian Burger and she's still raving about how tender and juicy the meat was. I even stole a worthwhile bite :) It was packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. I ordered the Beet and Goat Cheese salad, which was simply amazing. It was so refreshing and the combination of flavours was absolutely perfect. Overall, it was a flawless dining experience. Delicious food, a great vibe, and standout service from Kellie make this a must-visit spot. We will definitely be back soon!

The atmosphere at the restaurant was really nice. The pizza was good. Hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I’d definitely come back just for that. The pasta, however, was disappointing. It arrived late, was far too oily, and didn’t come close to the quality of the pizza. I was also surprised that coke was served fountain style. For a sit-down restaurant, I expected a can or glass. It felt more like fast food. On top of that, the service could have been better. The server kept calling me “brother,” which felt unprofessional. When I mentioned the pasta wasn’t good, he only gave a quick apology and didn’t take any further steps to address the issue or involve a supervisor. Overall, I’d return for the pizza and the ambiance, but the pasta and the service left me disappointed.

A Home Run Italian Experience – Even on a Tough Jays Day! Even though the Blue Jays let us down that night, Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar at Square One hit nothing but home runs! Our party of 7 showed up without a reservation on a packed game night, but the staff worked magic and found us a table with a 2-hour limit—which was more than enough for a fantastic meal. The speed of service blew us away. Within 15 minutes of ordering, all our food arrived hot and together—truly impressive for a full house. Here’s the rundown: 🍝 Rigatoni Bolognese – Rich, tomato-forward, and perfectly balanced with seasoned meat. 🥩 Steak for Two – Cooked a beautiful medium, tender and juicy, served with creamy gnocchi and flavorful broccoli. 🦐 Lemon Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti (Social Size) – The star of the night! So fresh and zesty, we couldn’t stop grabbing more. 🍕 Margherita & Sophia Pizzas – Good, but the pastas clearly stole the show. 🍤 Calamari Fritti – Decent, but not the standout. 🍷 Sangria Pitcher – Refreshing and fun—perfect for sharing. We also loved the lively atmosphere, with several birthday celebrations happening around us. Each one was treated to a cute little birthday cake topped with a sparkler candle—such a special touch! Whether you're gathering with friends, celebrating a special moment, or just craving hearty Italian food served with heart, Scaddabush delivers. We’ll definitely be back—maybe next time on a winning Jays night!

It was my first visit to this amazing place, though my friend had been here before — and I can totally see why she loved it! The ambience and vibe were absolutely perfect — cozy, lively, and welcoming. The food was AMAZING, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Our server Mandy (Minhaj) was incredible — super attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He recommended the best wine pairing, which complemented our meal perfectly. The service overall was top-notch — quick, professional, and done with a genuine smile. Definitely coming back soon! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food, great energy, and even better service. 🍷✨

From the moment we sat down Alberto immediately greeted us with high energy and warms smiles. He was absolutely fantastic!! Had issues with our food, room temperature and overcooked egg, but he immediately fixed it and was super apologetic (even though it was not his fault). The manager too was amazing and came to have a personal talk with us and re made the meals. Alberto also provided us with a spread for a birthday we were celebrating, going above and beyond!!!

This restaurant sets the standard real high. Apart from the so loved ambiance, they really hit it off with amazing food and the most exceptional service there is (I’ve been to restaurants all over the city but this one deserved a review). Alberto, one of a kind service. The rest of the crew is the definition of top notch hospitality. My cousin adores this restaurant and tonight was one of the best gifts I could have ever given her:)

This is our go to place for the Italian food since it opened more than 19 years ago. Always superb offerings paired with superior service. I have no qualms to say it is among the top 3 Italian restaurants in Mississauga. Sharing some pics. We as a family want to give a shout out and high fives to their senior server Zakaria. Whenever he has been there, our experience became even more enjoyable. Kudos to two brother owners.

Nice place have dinner if you are in Mississauga. The wine options are excellent and the food is good. The only issue I had with this restaurant. Is the sewer smell when you walk in the front door/ waiting area. It was really bad and I wish they didn’t just mask it with air freshener because it made it worse. The restaurant is also a bit dated but if you are not concerned too much with ambiance, this is a great restaurant to have dinner with family, date or colleagues!

Had an amazing dinner with friends and family! The food was delicious (every dish + the tiramisu 👌). The staff gave us the best service I’ve ever experienced, everyone was so friendly, and Tino went above and beyond to make our night. Yorkdale Mall is one of the best shopping centers in Toronto. It’s clean, modern, and has an amazing variety of stores — from luxury brands to everyday shops. The food court is big and offers many options, and the atmosphere feels safe and welcoming. Parking is usually easy to find, and the mall is well-connected to public transit. A great place to spend time shopping, eating, or just walking around.

Very nice mall with a great selection of well known brands/labels. It is a very clean place and offers were going on in quite a number of the shops. The food court had a good selection of places to eat and was also very clean. Easy access from Toronto airport by bus.

This mall is the closest to where i live, Yorkdale Mall is hands-down my go-to luxury destination in Toronto! ✨ From designer boutiques to everyday essentials, it has the most stunning mix of high-end stores — everything feels so curated and elevated. The Pottery Barn here is my absolute favorite (their displays are pure home inspo!). And with Earls and The Cheesecake Factory right there, it’s always a perfect day out — shop, dine, repeat. Truly the best mall experience in the city! 💫
Isha B — Google review
Really nice and high end looking mall. Parking lot is a bit small so be prepared to loop around to find parking. You will find everything you need here from food, drinks, shopping and entertainment. Now if they can get security tighter with all the robbery going on. It does make shopping here feel uneasy. Makes you wonder if you have a target on your back as you never know.

Yorkdale Shopping Centre is a beautiful, high-end mall with a wide variety of premium outlets. From sports shoes and designer bags to restaurants and international brands, the selection is impressive. I specifically went for Sephora and Alo and was happy to find exactly what I needed. We also had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory, which was a great experience and added to the visit. The mall has a polished, upscale feel and is definitely one of the go-to spots in Toronto for shopping and dining. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a mix of luxury and popular international brands in a stylish setting.

A huge shopping mall in Toronto!! Almost all the brands, be it fashion , electronics, and many others have their outlets there inside this centre. I felt list in its enormity: the vastness, wideness and it's grandness !!! Even Tesla has found a space there to showcase their models. There are food courts on upper level and many food chain outlets scattered through the main floor. something really grand 👍

Castle

Casa Loma, located about 10 minutes north of Toronto's city center, is a magnificent castle spanning 64,700 square feet. Constructed in 1914 by Canadian financier Sir Henry Pallatt, the castle showcases his love for European art and Gothic revival architecture. Visitors can explore the lavishly adorned halls and rooms, stroll through the terrace and gardens, and admire the opulent bedrooms and libraries.
Casa Loma is absolutely stunning and feels like stepping into a European fairy tale right in the middle of the city. The sheer size and Gothic Revival architecture—from the towering turrets to the opulent Great Hall—are truly breathtaking. You can spend hours exploring the different areas, especially the Conservatory with its beautiful stained glass and the main floors filled with lavish period furniture. I highly recommend taking the spooky tunnel down to the Stables and Garage to see the vintage car collection and the hidden historical exhibits. And if you want a totally unique experience, you have to try one of their escape rooms! They are completely immersive, use the actual castle spaces like the Norman Tower or tunnels, and often include live actors, making it one of the most memorable escape games you'll ever play. It’s definitely a must-see for the history, the beauty, and the fun.
Rahul S — Google review
This castle is absolutely beautiful and full of interesting history. My favourite parts were the secret tunnel — it was decorated for Halloween and looked amazing — and the basement area where you can see which movies were filmed in each room. The only downside was the spiral staircase to the tower. It gets quite tight and crowded, so it would be great if there were signs or someone to help direct the flow of people. Overall, a really fun and memorable visit!
Alisha_Jira — Google review
Casa Loma was fantastic to visit! I could have stayed atop the Norman Tower for hours and enjoyed the views. Inside the castle, the rooms were beautiful arranged with much to read and learn about. Plenty of helpful staff members to point you in the right direction if you get lost as well. The first time I went, I just explored the outside. I decided to return for a proper visit inside as well, and it was absolutely worth it!

I visited here during my trip to canada. It was absolutely amazing. The history behind it all. The artifacts, landscape and massive structure. It was a tour to remember. My friends and family truly enjoyed every aspect of this magnificent structure. The massive fireplace and intricate ceiling. Prayer room and study area. Walked out to the balcony that over looked the beautiful design garden area. Whats not to love about this magnificent breath taking place? I highly recommend a once in a lifetime tour with your friends and family. Wear comfortable shoes!!!! Because there's so much to ealk around and see.

It was a lovely experience to visit Casa Loma! The day was beautiful and we visited on a Monday so it made the visit smooth. The views of the city are extraordinary and they history is also fascinating. The first floor is used as a well known restaurant which has converted several of the rooms into modern dining. There are also many places to sit outdoors and enjoy the view. There’s a cafe in the basement and many things to enjoy for a lovely afternoon or date. My only constructive feedback is to care for the second floor and artifacts as much as the first floor. Thank you for a nice visit!
Lyndenise R — Google review
I visited in the 80's from Ohio and since I was in the area again, I wanted to see it again. Very beautiful place and the holiday decorations start getting you in the spirit. The tunnel to the stables is like a Christmas wonderland albeit kinda creepy being in the dim & the dank. I like that you can do your own tour with a map & audio commentary you listen to on your phone. You can take your time. There's a gift shop & café inside, too.
Autumn L — Google review
Nice place to take your girlfiend or significant other for a walk and explore around different rooms they have showcasing castle-style history as well as the garden area outside. The price of admission I'd say is quite expensive for the time it takes to get through the place, but it does offer a glimpse into the past with a nice view up top-just be prepared to climb alot of stairs. Also during weekdays the upper deck will be closed at 3pm and 1pm on weekends. There is sufficient parking if you go on a weekday; not sure about weekends. All in all a good place to check out if you've lived in Toronto for awhile now and never been.

Casa Loma being one of the city’s most iconic mix of romantic architecture, grand interiors, and a fascinating history that makes it worth visiting for everyone. It was built between 1911 and 1914 by Henry Pellatt, a Canadian industrialist, a European-style castle. The cost being enormous for its time, featured the latest technology. After Pellatt’s financial decline it changed hands, now preserved as a museum. Highlights are - The Great Hall, dramatic, cathedral-like space with towering ceilings, huge windows, and rich woodwork. It instantly transports you back to the grandeur of Edwardian society. The Conservatory- one of the most beautiful rooms in the castle — bright, elegant, and decorated with marble floors, once lush plants, and a stunning stained-glass dome. Secret Passageways- hidden behind bookcases and deep in hallways, these passages were used by Pellatt and his staff. Sir Henry Pellatt’s Suite- lavish decor, intricate detailing, and a peek into the personal life of the man behind the castle. The Towers- climbing the narrow staircase to the top for vantage points of Toronto. The 800-ft Tunnel- connecting the main castle to the outside stables and carriage house, the tunnel features exhibits and historic photographs that tell the story of the estate. The Stables & Carriage Room - restored areas showcasing vintage cars, ornate horse stalls, and displays about Pellatt’s estate. Tips if you are visiting - When we visited, there was no wait, however checking beforehand is advised to avoid delays to buy entry tickets (CAD 40 per head)online. Visit early morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds. Allocate 1.5 to 2 hours. If you’re rushing, you can do a highlights-only tour in about one to one and half hour, focusing on: Great Hall → Conservatory → Pellatt Suite → Secret Passages → Tower → Tunnel → Stables. There is a reasonable restaurant inside, finding good food will not be a problem. Beside the restaurant, an old indoor swimming pool has been converted to a presentation room that gives a brief history and highlights about a place, might be worth before you start an actual trip inside if you are not short of time. There’s quite a bit of walking, stairs, and climbing if you visit the tower and may not be friendly for people having mobility issues. Photography- Almost every room is photo-friendly. The Conservatory, Great Hall, and the Tower views make the best shots. Wide angle recommended. Use the audio guide is recommended, included in the entry fee. Parking is limited, fills up fast.

St. Lawrence Market is a renowned foodie destination located in Toronto's historic Old Town district. It has over 100 vendors offering a wide variety of products, including produce, antiques, baked goods, and meats. The market dates back to 1803 and is considered the oldest in Toronto. Visitors can indulge in local favorites such as peameal bacon sandwiches at Carousel Bakery or explore European-style pastries at Future Bakery.
Loved this area. Lively atmosphere, great smells from various food stalls. Wonderful experience. Definitely recommend a visit. We brought various butter tarts and they were heavenly. So much to see (and eat) 😀

Family and I went to this amazing St.Lawrence Market and it was so many shops inside for whatever you need. It had amazing Food options and so many Meats options also. What are the unique thing is how different culture kind of meat and cheese and fruits that were in this Market. The food was so fresh anywhere you tried to eat because it was made fresh right away. We try the pizza place and it was very delicious. The only reason why I give it a four star is because it would have been nice to see some Halal Options in Market as it had None and we had to find Cheese pizza to eat. Also bathroom could been cleaner! Overall Very Amazing and Unique Market to visit.

If you would love to visit local market as a tourist, this is the place to go! It has nice market atmosphere and I see long queue at many shops in the market by locals. It also cater both raw and ready to eat food. So you can buy beef steak to cook in your homestay or buy ready to eat food. Variety range from meat to seafood to fruits to bread to tarts to desserts and even maple syrup! Beautiful atmosphere and nice yummy food.... A nice brunch place and market!

Had a terrific time spending the day browsing St Lawrence Market. Bought an amazingly creative bouquet of flowers to brighten our hotel room. Had a delicious charcuterie lunch made from purchasing items from various vendors. Dessert was the largest berries we’ve ever seen, sweet, juicy, and delicious! Bought some pork belly to bring home after our trip. Purchased wines, a few souvenirs for our kids, generally had a nice day browsing through the enormous market. For reference I’d say it is about six times the size of Pike Place Market in Seattle.

Pretty much every visitor to Toronto knows this market. It's in a class of its own among public markets. Think about the scale, the vibe, the amazing selection and quality of products. You can even eat and drink while you shop—how great is that? On a nice day (if it's not too cold), the outdoor patio is the place to be. It's spacious, with pigeons wandering around, and another market is just across the street. Picture this: you're eating a lobster roll or pasta, feeding the pigeons, enjoying the scenery, and chatting with friends. What a fantastic scene!

A nice place to visit, lots of options for fancy goods, food particularly seafoods, meats, cheese, backed delicacies, sweets and farm produce. Liked the bright, happy vibe and roaming carefree environment. It was Christmas buying time, it added colourfulness. Good for buying souvenirs too.

Wonderful experience of the oldest market in Canada! There was a booth that has been there since before Canadas birth! The main floor is where fresh food is sold. The lower level has all the international flavours… will visit again. Lively atmosphere… need sitting area in winter. Has a mini-museum in lowest level where the jail used to be.

Restaurant
Schmaltz Appetizing is a must-visit shop in Toronto, known for its delectable bagels, smoked fish, and pastrami. The restaurant has gained attention from celebrities like Drew Barrymore who raved about the dreamy pastrami. They offer a variety of Jewish delicacies traditionally served with freshly baked bagels and classic accompaniments like cream cheese and pickles. Customers can grab their favorites to go or enjoy them on-site.
The closest you’ll get to a New York style appetizing shop in Toronto! This place is no frills but it delivers. You order at the counter when you walk in, pay at the register, then take it to eat either inside or the one shared table on the patio (patio is shared with Fat Pasha). The staff are friendly and the bagels are loaded. Tried the Maven (for a classic cream cheese and lox sandwich) and the Tough Guy (for a sweet and savoury experience) and both were quality bagel sandwiches.

⭐️BEST⭐️ bagel I’ve ever had. The “Maven” Bagel was absolutely amazing. Cream cheese, smoked salmon and capers on an everything bagel was amazing. The two men there were very welcoming and nice and you could this place was full of Love.
David F — Google review
Schmaltz completely blew my mind. No exaggeration. Pictured is the [Maven] and the [LATKE DOUBLE DOWN] - the star of the show. Its crispy crunch first bite, then the scallion cream cheese which is smooth and perfectly flavoured, then comes the punch of the flavours combined there’s nothing quite like it. This has made it to my top Toronto food items. Schmaltz is a must-try, and I’ll be back very soon for a repeat and for the unassuming patio connected to enjoy your sandwiches and bagels.

Loved the variety of different bagels they have, we got the double smoked wolfhead and sturgeon lox bagel and it was top tier. Also love the seating area, feels like I'm in Northern Ontario!

Definitely one of the best bagel spots in Toronto. A bit out of the way, but worth it. Tried the Chazzer but swapped the salmon for Lemon Dill Gravlox—salty, not just from the salmon but also the fish roe, still tasty. NY-style bagel, chewy and delicious. Highly recommend! Schmaltz Appetizing is a true Toronto treasure. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with that perfect blend of old-school deli charm and modern creativity. The quality of the ingredients is second to none—everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can tell there’s real care behind every item on the menu. Their bagel sandwiches are on another level. The smoked fish is buttery, rich, and perfectly balanced with their toppings, and don’t even get me started on the cream cheese—it’s magic. Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite or treating myself to a weekend brunch, Schmaltz always delivers. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly love what they do. They make you feel welcome and never rush you, even when it’s busy (which it often is, for good reason). This place nails it on all fronts: food, service, and atmosphere. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favour and go. Schmaltz isn’t just one of the best spots in Toronto—it’s a city staple.

This place rules! The staff were super friendly and all the food was super tasty. We grabbed a few bagel sandwiches to split. One with whitefish and lox, and one with lox and salmon roe. They both were crazy good. Can't wait for my next visit!

Decadent variety of sandwiches that never miss! I got the vegan lox on the double down. Do it! Thank me later. Such a fun atmosphere and the service is fast and flawless. Highly recommend!

Brick Street Bakery is a small chain that prides itself on its extensive menu of sandwiches, savory pies, cookies, and bread. They are known for using locally sourced, high-quality ingredients to make their products from scratch every day without any added preservatives. Their almond croissants and other pastries are particularly popular, as well as their artisanal bread used in handcrafted sandwiches. The bakery also offers British baking traditions such as soups and meat pies.
A cute small bakery located in Distillery. They serve a variety of pastries at an affordable price! The hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows is worth getting when you want a hot drink on a cold day. Especially compared to the other options in the area during the Christmas market season, this is a great affordable option. The space is a bit limited but still some seating space.

Nov2024 Casual, no frills, and rustic bakery at the Historical Distillery complex that serves a wide range of baked goods and dishes. The sandwiches are huge and the listed menus are varied. Tastes are diverse to appeal to plenty of diners. The brewed coffee is typical drip type strong and cloudy. Service is counter takeaway style. Downside is that you need request for napkins despite them having a diy sermvice takeaway counter. No driniking water as well. Dining nooks are limited to small stalls and counters. Ideal for takeaways and very quick bites.

We stumbled upon this little gem while wandering through the Distillery District this Sunday morning looking for a place to sit and grab some breakfast. A lot of places did not seem to be open despite it being after 10am. Entered and were immediately greeted and after a short look around proceeded to order two breakfast sandwiches and a couple hot beverages. Service was super friendly and quick and the breakfast sandwich was over the top! FRESH, Tasty and a generous portion! Served on delicious whole wheat bread this was really a great food experience! The bakery has a cool vintage vibe and feels like a local bistro should. They do have a good selection of take out which we will definitely try at a later visit. There are stools and a small area on each side to enjoy your food or drink on site which we took advantage of. Thanks Brick St. ! Excellent Espresso too! ☕️

Perhaps it was just that I went after peak time, I'll extend the benefit of doubt. I was excited to have a Cornish pasty, I haven't had one in years, unfortunately it was a bit too dry and too salty. I didn't finish it. I had a butter croissant that had maybe been out a little longer than ideal but it was also quite dry. My coffee was burnt and bitter, I only managed a few sips. The staff member was friendly, the atmosphere got my hopes up, it's just too bad my expectations weren't met. Hopefully my experience is an outlier.

I was slightly disappointed. I love Portuguese egg tarts- these were acceptable- but missing something- I love when there is a hint of almond flavor- which these did not have. The cheesecake tart also disappointed me- really didn’t have much flavor at all. The iced latte was quite good. Just wish it had less ice and more latte.

This bakery has a casual, down-to-earth vibe. However, the prices felt a bit on the higher side. We ordered the Coronation Chicken sandwich and the Egg Salad sandwich. The fillings were tasty, but the bread was quite hard and dry, which made the soft fillings spill out as we ate—ending up a bit messy. Napkins aren’t placed out on a shelf for self-service, and they don’t seem to be provided unless you ask, so I’d recommend requesting a few when you pay. On the patio, pigeons and sparrows quickly gather around the tables, likely drawn by the crumbs. If you’re not comfortable around birds, just be aware—they do come quite close. While this visit was a bit disappointing overall, there were some other items—like tarts and pot pies—that looked really good, so I’d like to come back and try those next time.

Never had any disappointing products from this bakery and this is my go to sweets pick up place whenever I am in distillary district. This time I got minced meat tart, pecan butter tart, two different kinds of brownies. All of them were like homemade excellent comforting dessert.

a lovely little bakery/cafe right by the main entrance to the District. During warm months there are tables/umbrellas outside - for extra seating space - sadly now (November) they are gone. there are still some tall chairs by the windows available inside. a great place to grab something substantial - a good selection of sandwiches, pastries (including savoury - with some vegetarian options like the delicious Curry Veggie or Spinach FetaTurnovers). There are also sweet croissants and cookies and pies. Plus good coffee/hot beverages. you could also buy bread there - with many interesting varieties. Watch out for pigeons hanging out by the door, they are always trying to sneak in for some tasty crumbs ;)

The Royal Ontario Museum is Canada's largest and most comprehensive museum, offering a wide range of attractions that make multiple visits a must. The museum features sprawling natural history and world cultures galleries, including dinosaur fossil skeletons in the Age of Dinosaurs exhibit. Visitors can explore the Samuel European Galleries to learn about European style through the ages, as well as the Life in Crisis: Schad Gallery of Biodiversity for an extensive natural history collection.
I visited the Royal Ontario Museum last week on a weekday, and it was such a fun experience! I’ve always heard good things about the ROM, but seeing everything in person was even better. Since it wasn’t too crowded, I got to take my time exploring the galleries and really enjoy each section. The dinosaur exhibits were super impressive — they’re definitely a highlight. I also loved the cultural displays from different parts of the world, especially the Asian and Egyptian sections. There’s just so much to see that a few hours didn’t feel enough. The architecture of the building itself is also worth appreciating — the mix of classic and modern design makes it feel unique. The staff were friendly, and everything was well-organized and clean. Overall, it’s such a great spot for anyone visiting Toronto or even locals who haven’t been in a while. Whether you’re into history, art, or science, there’s something for everyone. I left feeling both entertained and a little smarter — totally worth it! We will visit again with my family.

Got a general admission ticket and definitely worth visiting. There are some great Chinese artifacts and statues to view. The staff here is very friendly and will explain certain pieces if you are in the area. This museum has a little bit of everything so you can expect to be there for at least 2 hours if you go through all of general admission. Maybe 3 hours if dinosaurs is open, it was closed when we were there.
Joe W — Google review
Easy to go with the city pass but if you can become a member, there will be many exhibitions that you will also be allowed to go to. You can easily spend 2-3 hrs just walking around. Some cakes, and beverages are also available on the ground floor for a small break. Some sections were really cool. Especially recommend the gems section. Unfortunately, dinosaur’s section was closed until first week of December.
Payal N — Google review
It was an absolutely amazing museum. The exhibits were nicely curated, the artifacts were lovely. The biggest downside was how noisy it was, there was a live performance in the lobby and it took away from the atmosphere that the museum had, I also wish they made it clear as to which area was heavily kid oriented, or else I wouldn’t have spent so much time on the second floor when I could’ve been on the third floor actually seeing the stuff I really wanted to see and learn about. But that being said the areas they have for kids is very well done and the kids there seemed to be having a great time learning. I loved the Greek and Roman section of the museum and paying to see saints, sinners and lovers was very worth it. Absolutely stunning paintings, you could see the brush strokes and the tiny details on the canvases. The ROM was a lot of fun.
Anna R — Google review
We visited the museum on a snowy Sunday afternoon, there was no waiting for the tickets, 35 CAN/adult person. Staff were friendly, ready to explain and direct. The ground floor included marvelous pieces from China and some from Korea. Last floor for the European and Egyptian cultures. We took more than 2 hours, but we could not visit it all. Beautiful experience for a neat museum

My best friend and I arrived here for the free Tuesday night at the rom and where pleasantly surprised by the orderly way I. Which ticket holders entered the museum, it was swift and easy and we were on having fun in no time! The ROM is an immaculately curated space that can actually take a very long time to get through when it comes to viewing exhibits. I was born and raised here in Toronto and I’ve still yet to see all of the ROM in its entirety. This is what makes it worth the price. Every exhibit is thought out and so well put together with care and attention to detail. Every time I am at the rom I learn so many new things about the world and the layout of the rom makes learning to information seamless and easy. Washrooms and water fountains are very easy to find and in abundance so I was never panicked trying to look around for a washroom. The ROM also has new all gendered washrooms which are luxurious and a great addition to this museum. There is great accessibility here and the elevators and seats are always easy to find. I typically avoid the cafes and cafeterias here as they can be quite overpriced but it’s been a long time since I visited the cafe so it could’ve changed… Overall I always enjoy my time at the ROM and recommend you book a ticket weather you are a newcomer or someone familiar to the city, give it a try!

There's a lot going on here. If you are really into museums and want to look at most things then plan to spend four or more hours here. There's dedication to natural history for animals and civilizations. Good assortment of unique pieces. There is a lot of pottery, more than you'd think for sure. The collection of Greek and Roman busts is impressive along with the number of tombs. The dinosaur exhibit wasn't able to be fully seen due to renovations.
Brandon E — Google review
The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is a spectacular world-class institution that makes for an unforgettable day out in Toronto. Its collection is unbelievably diverse, spanning natural history (hello, incredible dinosaurs and gems!) and world culture (from ancient Egypt to the Ming Dynasty Tombs). The architecture alone is worth the visit, famously blending the grand, historic Neo-Romanesque brickwork with the striking, angular modern glass of the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal—it’s a visual feast inside and out. With forty different galleries, you can easily spend a full afternoon (at least 3-4 hours) exploring, learning about everything from the Burgess Shale fossils to African art. The ROM is constantly evolving with fascinating new exhibits and is definitely a must-see landmark for anyone visiting the city.

The Art Gallery of Ontario is a large gallery featuring an extensive Canadian collection, European masterworks, and a significant renovation by Frank Gehry. It's a must-visit attraction in Toronto, offering an enriching experience for art enthusiasts. With its diverse range of artworks and stunning architecture, it's a perfect destination for those seeking cultural immersion.
I suggested you to buy a membership as supporting and also you can visit it anytime in a year because i don’t think spending 4hrs at AGO is enough for you. They have 4 levers and each level is like a maze with full of art. Trust me. you think you can spend a day there is good enough?. Nope! Ton of art and events in a year you wouldn’t be miss out if you enjoy art and love spending time walking.

We visited the Art Gallery of Ontario and had an amazing experience! The gallery is huge and beautifully curated, with a fantastic collection of Canadian and international art. Walking through the exhibits, we were inspired by the creativity and talent on display. The building itself is stunning, with modern architecture and well-designed spaces that make exploring the art even more enjoyable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of opportunities to learn more about the pieces and artists. A must-visit for anyone who loves art and culture!

I absolutely loved the special exhibition of Jesse Mockrin‘s work! Incredible! But even the rest of the museum was very well curated, such a great range. From African contemporary art, Picasso and Monet, European paintings, modern and some small classic sculptures and carvings, some weirder modern pieces (which I liked least), a mirror room, and more. A little pricey for a one time visit ($30), but very cheap as an annual pass ($40). Spent 3.5 hours here but could have taken longer. Also go up the wooden staircase for a great view of the CN tower and the city.
Romina B — Google review
Love the collections at the AGO. I waited in line for the infinity mirror exhibition for over 40 minutes. I didn't find it was worth it for the amount of time they give you to take photos (1 minute per 4 people). The room isnt large enough to be able to appreciate it as much as I would have hoped.
Nat — Google review
My biggest note: this is not a gallery you can easily see completely in one visit! You could easily spend one visit on a single level alone. And a map is recommended - this place is a wanderer’s dream, without a single obvious path to follow. The variety and quality of artwork is fantastic. There is special attention paid to Canadian artists and Indigenous artists, which I enjoyed. And the building itself is stunning, especially the atrium and spiral staircase. The food options are expensive, so my partner and I opted for a simple sandwich at the Espresso Bar instead of a full meal at the Bistro. But, the food options at the Bistro did sound delicious.
Susie S — Google review
Such a great collection and a stunning display of design. I enjoyed walking through the gallery spaces and discovering the different architectural aspect of the building. The AGO has such a vast collection of Canadian art and other artists from around the globe that I would easily want to spend the whole day there. My visit was with a group of students and were well welcomed warmly by our tour guides who were so knowledgeable. Definitely a must when visiting Toronto if you are into the arts.
Alain B — Google review
Totally recommended!!! Thousands of art exhibits which represents the whole ages of known human history - painting, sculpture, craft (includes European Christian legacy), etc. Great cafeteria and customer-oriented service. Must have to take both sides of building steps to look over Toronto downtown panoramas + 🚢 basement exhibition!
Alex G — Google review
The Art Gallery of Ontario is such a unique experience. It’s not like the Louvre or the big “standard” museums it has its own vibe and character. Alongside world-famous pieces from Renoir, Monet, and Rembrandt, the gallery also shines a spotlight on Canadian artists, which makes it stand out. I especially enjoyed the miniature portraits and the ancient gold and ivory pieces they give such an insightful glimpse into how people actually lived. Since I could only explore a few sections on my first visit, I decided to get the annual pass so I can return and keep discovering more. Definitely worth it if you enjoy art and want a place that feels both world-class and uniquely Canadian.

Shopping mall
Westwood Square is a large and intricate shopping complex that houses prominent chain stores, technology outlets, fashion boutiques, financial institutions, and a fitness center. The mall predominantly features mobile repair shops as its primary offering. With multiple entrances numbering around 4 to 5, Westwood Square operates from 10 am to 9 pm daily. Additionally, it benefits from its close proximity to the Westwood terminal which serves as a transit hub for Mississauga and Brampton buses.
🫡🇨🇦👋 Hello people from everywhere! This is a review of Westwood square, a nice shopping plaza with lots of vendors. Lots of options here! There are a lot of wonderful South Asian stores whether you're looking for fabric or food. There are cell phone & fashion shops here also! A lot of the businesses in this mall are specialty businesses while many are every day like restaurants, I saw an outlet shop and more. 👍 I took a lot of photos I spent the day wandering and certainly looks like a place that is fun to spend a rainy day. Lots of multiculturalism here. Be nice to people and drive safe in the parking lot, it can be awfully crowded here. Please try not to litter respect the environment. Thanks.🤗

This mall is just like a Dr. Flea market. Very little shops. Just cell phones and beauty salons are there. It is empty mall.
Nasir I — Google review
Westwood Square is a well-established shopping plaza offering a mix of grocery stores, specialty shops, restaurants, and services. Stores like Food Basics, Dollarama, and a few local boutiques make it convenient for everyday shopping. The plaza is clean, parking is ample, and the layout is easy to navigate. It can get busy during evenings and weekends, but overall it’s a practical spot for groceries, quick errands, or grabbing a bite to eat.
Rajesh D — Google review
Westwood Mall has kind of a flea market vibe. I find the mall pretty boring overall, mostly because there are so many cellphone shops — it feels like everyone is just copying each other with no originality. Upstairs, there’s a Tim Hortons by the escalator, but a lot of the shops look closed down. It’s mostly cellphone shops in there, but they do have a gym — a Planet Fitness, actually. Outside, there’s a dollar store and a West Indian store. Inside, you can find a place for passport photos, a carpet store, a few clothing vendors, a jewelry shop, and some liquidation spots where you can pick up discounted items from various stores. It’s not a bad mall, but honestly, I didn’t really enjoy the experience.
Richard R — Google review
This once was a nice mall, had a Walmart and lots of great stores, now just reduced to an Indian flea market with only a few of the old stores remaining. Not worth wasting gas to come to.
Chris D — Google review
The mall consists mainly of stalls selling electronics and home cast-offs, nothing of quality or usefulness. Empty stores anchor the north end. Giant Tiger was promised, but the company has indicated no plans to open a store at Westwood Square, so the empty stores are likely to remain as a representation of the mall.
Ann M — Google review
This mall has many stores and mostly what I see is mobile repair shops. There are 4-5 entrances and timings are 10am to 9pm. Also nearby there is Westwood terminal for Mississauga and Brampton transit busses. Didn't had much time to have detailed review.

Authentic Japanese restaurant
Manpuku Modern Japanese Eatery is a cozy noodle house located in a bustling food court, offering traditional Japanese comfort food. Their chewy imported udon noodles are served in a smoked bonito broth with mildly spicy Japanese curry and thinly shaved beef. The beef curry rice has remained consistent over the years, while the chicken ramen fell short with overly sweet broth and gummy noodles.
This place was packed, and for a good reason. We ordered ochazuke, hotate rice, and takoyaki! I was welcomed with a warm taste from the takoyaki and their gooey insides. As for the ochazuke, I loved the crispiness of the rice, topped with the strong seasoning. The food was freshly made, hence the lengthy preparation time, but it was worth the wait. Employees were friendly despite the rush hour. The prices are fair (and fairly cheap) for their portions. Would come again.

Very cozy small place. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, so delicious and good portions. I’ve tried their noodles and rice dishes, as well as many sides. All very filling and enjoyable. I personally always order a side of tofu nuggets.
XinQian — Google review
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it continues to deliver great value and delicious food. I especially like their udon — the simple kake udon is my go-to, and the niku udon is also really good. We also always get the takoyaki, which never disappoints. The onigiri can feel a bit rice-heavy, but it’s still fair for the price. There’s usually a small line during busy times, but it moves quickly, so it’s worth the short wait.

Manpuku – Delicious, Affordable, and Full of Character Manpuku is one of those restaurants I find myself craving whenever I’m nearby. Located inside The Village by the Grange, this small but inviting eatery has earned a well-deserved reputation for its delicious food and friendly atmosphere. During busy hours or school breaks, a short line often forms. I usually take that time to admire the cozy interior, the charming decorations, and the small details that tell the story of how Manpuku has continued to thrive over the years. It’s clear that the staff are dedicated and hardworking, always moving with purpose while maintaining a welcoming energy. I especially appreciate the fact that you're able to purchase branded shirts of Manpuku for $20. Once seated, guests are offered their choice of tea or water. Orders can be placed traditionally through a server using the menu sheets or digitally by scanning a QR code both convenient and efficient options. The atmosphere inside is lively and warm, constantly in motion as staff take orders, deliver dishes, and keep the space clean and organized. Despite the bustle, there’s a sense of balance and hospitality that keeps the experience enjoyable. I’ve recommended Manpuku to several friends, and each visit reaffirms why it remains one of my go-to dining spots. With its affordable prices, delicious dishes, and genuine charm. ( I've taken some photo's during my trip but myself and my friends started eating before we realized to take some pictures. - I'll do better next time and hold my urge to consume it ) Manpuku continues to be a standout destination for anyone craving comforting Japanese food in downtown Toronto.
Rachel M — Google review
A hidden gem I am so glad to have found on Google Maps while looking for japanese food, but different from the usual sushi/ramen/izakaya at night. Manpuku is serving the equivalent of izakaya food but it's a small restaurant open for lunch, inside the food court area, so not easy to find. Authentic taste, classics reminding me food in Japan, at very reasonable prices!! I want to go back for sure!
Linda H — Google review
Surprised to find such a cheap Japanese restaurant in downtown. It was a full house on a Saturday afternoon. Located in Village of the Grange, we ordered takeout and ate in the food court area. The curry udon was average, but the takoyaki was very delicious. The staff are all Japanese and very nice. A small but cozy place overall.

Hidden Gem for Japanese Comfort Food in Downtown Toronto! Manpuku is one of those rare spots that delivers authentic Japanese street food vibes right in the heart of the city. If you’re craving warm, soulful, and flavorful Japanese comfort dishes — this is the place. The curry rice bowl is rich, savory, and perfectly balanced — just the right amount of sweetness and umami, with tender meat and fluffy rice. It’s like a hug in a bowl. Their takoyaki is easily some of the best I’ve had outside of Japan. Crispy outside, gooey inside, generous chunks of octopus, topped with just the right drizzle of mayo and sauce. Pure heaven. The miso udon is a sleeper hit — the broth is deep and earthy, not overly salty, and the chewy udon noodles have that perfect bounce. It’s the kind of bowl that makes you slow down and appreciate every slurp. And don’t skip the pork don — juicy slices of pork over rice with that melt-in-your-mouth texture and slightly sweet-savory glaze. Simple, but executed perfectly. Service is quick, friendly, and no-frills — exactly what you’d expect from a place that puts all its focus into nailing the food. Prices are super reasonable too. Whether you’re Japanese or just a fan of the cuisine, this place hits the spot. I’ll be back — again and again.
Angela B — Google review
Simple, cheap and delicious. The udon broth had a wonderful, warm flavour and the pickles offered a refreshing palate cleanser. The staff were welcoming and kindly offered other suggestions when one of my first picks was sold out. If I had one criticism it would be that the pickled cabbage could have used a touch of sugar, but it was still good.

Taiwanese restaurant
If you're craving Taiwanese food in Scarborough, Mabu Generation is the perfect spot. They've got an extensive menu of traditional dishes that are just as good as they are in any Hong Kong cafe, and their popcorn chicken dip is a must-try. Although their rice dishes can be large, the pork hock is definitely worth trying - it's packed with tiny bones but tastes delicious nonetheless.
The food here is amazing -flavorful, fresh, and definitely worth coming for. But the service really needs improvement. Staff seemed uninterested and slow to respond, which took away from the overall experience. Great food, but don’t expect much from the service.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely delicious and fun dining experience at MABG! We got the combo set which came with so many highlights: the sizzling black pepper beef rice (M01) was flavorful and came on a hot plate, keeping it warm till the last bite. The Japanese-style milk curry mashed potatoes with fried shrimp and squid (R07) were surprisingly good—crispy on the outside, creamy underneath, with sweet curry and pickled radish on the side. The signature garlic sausage (L07) was a total flavour bomb—super juicy and loaded with fresh garlic slices. And to wash it all down, we had the sparkling grape soda with jelly cubes (T21), which was super refreshing. Everything was served hot and fresh, and the vibe of the restaurant felt nostalgic with retro Asian posters on the wall. Perfect for a casual night out with friends. Will definitely return to try the other combos!

I had a really good experience at Mabu Generation. The service stood out right away — the waiters were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and very respectful. It’s a spot that attracts a lot of younger university and college students, so it has a lively atmosphere. The food itself is tasty, but the portions are on the smaller side compared to what you’d expect at more traditional Chinese restaurants where sharing is the norm. Here, it feels more like you order just for yourself rather than family-style. That’s not a bad thing, just something to know before going. Overall, great service, nice vibe, and good food — just be prepared that it’s more of an individual dining experience with smaller portions.
Dantheman R — Google review
I’ve been to Mabu like 4-5 and it never misses! The menu is so intensive, you can have different orders each time you go. I’m literally not biased but my family loves it so much. It has such an authentic Taiwanese flavor, and it also has so much variety of asian taste!! I love the grilled chicken cutlet and the braised pork belly so so much! Even the interior was really nice. And if you download the app, you can get free dessert and we devoured that. The staff were so nice and accommodating to us. Thank you to Jarvis and Nathan for making our dining experience amazing.
Jana T — Google review
Went here for dinner. They don't take reservations. But they were nice to let us knw that they had room. They ask for 'online' ordering while in the restaurant - which for some might b cool but it takes away from the experience for me. Also staff usually avoids looking in your way for fear that you may ask a question. We ordered a bowl of sausage, beef n rice and a 'make your own pancake'. The beef wasn't good, the sausage was nice, and the pancake was almost inedible. Understandable that it was make ur own pancake, but shouldn't there be some cohesive choices. I added garlic to mine and i swear there were blobs of minced garlic so much that i couldn't bear it, and i am Indian. It was lacking flavor since they decided to serve the sauce on the side but its not rolled tight enough to dunk. The worst part - so oily it was dripping. I was hungry so i ate some but it was horrible
Namita C — Google review
Food was visually appealing but not as good as they looked. I had the pork belly rice bowl and the pork was not very flavourful. I did like the pickled vegetables that came with the dish. Price is reasonable considering its downtown location. Decor was nice and reminiscent of Taiwan. Service was a bit aloof. Our water wasn’t even refilled.

I was craving for Taiwanese food. My frd recommended this place and we went there for my favorite - Taiwanese Pork Rice. We also ordered a popcorn chicken. Both items were very good. The popcorn chicken is crispy and flavorful. The meat is not dry and super tender. The pork rice reminds me of Taiwan. They gave a whole egg instead of just half. I would be happier if they can be more generous about the pork. More veggies would also make the meal healthier. Can’t comment much on the service. The server did ask if we were doing okay, but other than that, I didn’t see a lot of service. The price is reasonable, but it’s not super cheap. I will be back for sure.

Restaurant
ZET'S Restaurant Airport, situated adjacent to Toronto Pearson Flight terminal, is a casual dining establishment that offers traditional dishes such as souvlaki, fish, and burgers. It has gained popularity among both tourists and locals due to its convenient location and reputation for prompt service, reasonable prices, and generous portions. Operating non-stop for over four decades, ZET'S is a cherished spot for food enthusiasts.
Absolutely love going here!! I’ve been eating here for decades and I am impressed with how well they managed to keep their quality and service ✨ The food is so flavourful, the portions are unmatched and the renovations definitely helped open up the space to provide ample seating! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a delicious meal. Our favourite of course is the famous chicken souvlaki dinner 😋

I recently visited ZEST Restaurant and ordered a burger. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize I had added bacon to my order, as I don’t eat pork. However, the staff was very accommodating and quickly changed my order without any hassle. The burger itself was not cooked well and tasted great, which I appreciated. One thing to note is that the restaurant had a strong food smell as soon as I approached the entrance, which might be off-putting for some. Overall, the service was excellent, and the food was satisfying. I would recommend ZEST for their attentive staff and good burgers!

Just tried this place for the first time and even though there was a long line, the service was super quick. The food was packed with flavor, definitely some of the best we've ever had! We loved the famous chicken souvlaki dinner the most. The Greek salad and crispy calamari with tzatziki were also so tasty. The portions were huge—we ended up taking some home for another meal! Overall, the service was great, and the food was really satisfying at a good price for the big portions. I’d totally recommend this spot to anyone craving a delicious meal.

I have one thing to say about ZET'S... portions! They. WILL. Feed you! Like, THAT'S a full plate right there, and it's no circle, it's an oval! And whatever your preference of meat is, lemme tell you, those potatoes!?! ...perfect! I'm Irish, so i'm not screwing around when i say this is the best potato i've had! Nice place, nice people, you know what to do, go and get eating!

I love ZET’s. Haven’t been here since before Covid. Normally have souvlaki. Not this trip. Wanted something quick and smaller. Had gyro on pita. Yum. Side of pickles and hot peppers. Can wait to return. Busy place. Super fast service.

Love this place so much. Amazing food with great prices to go along with it. It tastes even better than it looks (though it does look delicious, it gets better). The place itself has got this homey feel that remains persistent. You can truly tell the food is made with love. Definitely recommend to try it if you’re a fan of greek food, good food, and something that tastes a bit like home!

Went for lunch. Good steady crowd. Kitchen is fast. Portions are quite big. You place your order, your number is called for pick up. Casual dining.

Large portions! A long lineup but fast service. The souvlaki dinners were both great! A good spot to catch quick and hearty food on the go. Keep it up!!

Day 5

Keep it simple
For day 5, these 4 places should be enough to fill your day with something exciting to do in Mississauga. Start the day with Erin Mills Town Centre and make your way through the city to get to Jack Darling Memorial Park. This should take about 8 hours of your day.

Shopping mall
Shopping
Erin Mills Town Centre is a vibrant shopping hub located in Mississauga, featuring an expansive two-level layout filled with a diverse array of clothing stores, department outlets, and quick-service dining options. The mall's modern architecture is accentuated by a striking glass sphere that enhances the overall shopping experience. Visitors can enjoy the convenience of attached Cineplex Theatres, allowing for seamless entertainment without stepping outside.
I’ve heard from family that Erin Mills Town Centre has a better facility to take morning walks. And so, because it’s winter time, I decided to get my running shoes on and get started with my warm up time. The parking lot is huge so there’s no problem looking for a spot. Upon entry, I noticed that the floor is sparklingly clean! The mall guards’ visibility is also noticeable. First, I explored the area ensuring to locate the washrooms, the food court and the mall map. I found all 3 quickly. I was glad Walmart and The Bay are both in the mall. All stores such as clothing, kitchen appliances and novelty shops are present. Also services like nail salons, barber shops, movie theatre and mobile stores are available. It’s literally all under one roof! Highly recommended!
C C — Google review
This mall exceeded my expectations in every way. The spacious, clean layout makes shopping a pleasure, and the impressive selection of brand name stores offers something for everyone. What really stood out was the friendly atmosphere - both staff and fellow shoppers were welcoming and helpful. The two-level design is well-planned and easy to navigate, with plenty of comfortable seating areas throughout for when you need a break. The food court is definitely a highlight - it's huge with an amazing variety of dining options that cater to all tastes and budgets. As a family-friendly destination, this mall hits all the marks. Kids and adults alike will find plenty to enjoy, and parents will appreciate the thoughtful amenities. The ample free parking is a huge bonus and makes visiting stress-free. Whether you're looking for a quick shopping trip or planning to spend the day here, this upscale mall delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended.
Ramdas M — Google review
Great mall, very spacious and clean. Lots of brand name shops. People are friendly. Upscale. Very big food court with lots of selection to choose from. Great for family as well. Lots of seating areas. It has two levels. Lots of free parking.
Peter M — Google review
Ok... i grew up with this mall. It was THRIVING in the 90s. There was a mini golf course, movie theatre, fountains, what felt like hundreds of tv screens forming a cube in the centre, a 3 floor restaurant called JJ Mugs that had the TALLEST milkshakes a kid could ask for, MOVIES were FILMED here! And now it is... rebuilding after a LOT of change. And a changing world. The new Cineplex Junction theatre is AWESOME (every seat is VIP), and there's a surprising amount of geek / nerd / otaku friendly shops. The food court is rather nice & varied, and JUST got a Korean Corndogs place... But it has work to do. (Now that it JUST lost The Bay, we'll have to see what they do next...)
Shaggy S — Google review
The Erin Mills Town Centre does not have a big main building, but it’s surrounded by other smaller shops like LCBO, Indigo, Home Sense and others. And in the summer, it hosts the Mississauga RibFest. In the main building, it has cinemas and the food court has very nice view. It has restaurants like Turtle Jacks which has a 2nd floor outdoor patio. It’s a pleasure to visit every now and then.
Dan C — Google review
Doing a lot better and starts to get busier towards lunch. They have a SPIRIT store here with friendly ghouls to assist you.
Tall R — Google review
Very nice mall, clean environment, and staffs are very friendly. Love it. One feedback is that there air conditioning is blasting unusually high, especially near fanning areas. Not drafts but actually fan is blasting cold air. Napkins on the table would be blown off the tables in the food court. That’s how high the fans are set at.
Pot — Google review
Small, cozy and beautiful mall. I often go there to meet my friends over a cup of coffee. Even though this mall doesn’t have many options for shopping Variety clothes and shoes They still have some decent places to shop clothes and shoes in cheaper price. I wish they have some more stores for brands. Play place area on the lower level is fine, but it could be better. Parking is big. Overall, it’s a good mall to hang around with friends

Masrawy Egyptian Kitchen is a relatively new restaurant located just outside of Streetsville, offering classic North African small and shared plates in a modern setting with patterned tiles. The eatery provides covered patio seating during the summer and serves up incredible Egyptian cuisine. The restaurant has been gaining popularity, so making a reservation is highly recommended to avoid long waits. With an increased seating capacity and ample parking, Masrawy offers prompt service despite potential busyness.
We visited this restaurant early Sunday evening and it was busy. Lots of birthday celebrations and restayrant smelt like charcoaled bbq which brought up my appetite. This restaursnt has so many vegan 🥑 🌱 🥗 options. I am not a vegan however I decided to try some vegan food & was totally satisfied with two vegan dishes I ordered. Koshary($13) The combination of rice, lentil, chickpeas & pasta & when they were served warm, it was interesting. When all the beans, legumes, pasta were mixed with spiced tomato sauce, dakka (garlic infused vinegar) & hot sauce, it was creating such a unique dishes that I have never tried before. Mama's Molekheya($16.50) This royal mallow leaf green soup might not be for everyone. Texture is slimy. But for me with roasted garlic & fresh ground coriander this soup was very much enjoyable. I could just drink up the soup. Egyptian rice & vermicelli that served with soup was delicious as well. My friend ordered Arugula Salata ( $16.00) It was served with cranberry, walnut, olive oil, lemon and added grilled chicken($8) Sweet pomegranate molasses dressing & killer grilled chicken made this salad so good and portion size was huge. I would return to try some more meat dishes.

We recently visited Masrawy and had a really nice experience! One interesting thing is that they don’t serve the usual soda brands — they have their own brand instead, and it actually tastes quite similar. We were a group of five and ordered one appetizer, three main dishes, and a dessert to share. For the appetizer, we tried the Hawaoshi — it was good, but nothing too special. For the main courses, we had the Chicken Tikka, which was absolutely delicious! The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Masrawy Fusion was another highlight — it reminded us of a shawarma served with fries and rice, and it was very tasty. The Lamb Chops were also good, though the portion of meat was on the smaller side. We noticed that the portion sizes were quite generous, which makes the dishes great for sharing. The service was attentive and friendly, matching the overall experience. The only thing we were expecting was a bit more Egyptian-style décor to match the restaurant’s theme. For dessert, we shared the Om Ali, which was unique and different from what we’re used to, but we all really enjoyed it! Overall, it was a flavorful and authentic experience.

We were brought here by a friend. The food was amazing. Everything we had was outstanding from appetizers to desserts. The staff were warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. They answered our questions and made some very nice recommendations. We will most definitely come back.

We had an amazing family dinner at Masrawy about three weeks ago. About 35 people, ranging between 6 to 80 yeats of ages. We loved the whole experience, the company, the food, the ambiance. We pretty much took the whole of outside sitting arrangements that they have. The weather was perfect with light showers. The food was just amazing. Highly recommended food items. 👇 • APPETISER CHEF'S PLATTER ☆☆☆☆☆ • MUSAKKAH ☆☆☆☆ • MIX MAHSHY ☆☆☆☆☆ • MAKARONA BACHAMEL ☆☆☆☆☆ • KIBDEH ISKANDARANI ☆☆☆ • MASRAWI FUSION RICE ( CHICKEN ) ☆☆☆☆☆ • MASRAWI MIXED GRILL W MEAT KABABS, LAMB CHOPS & SHEESH TAOOQ☆☆☆☆☆ Alhamdulillah, the entire food selection was just too good, served hot with amazing service by Mr. Sairi (Palestinian gentleman) and his team. Amazing service by all the staff members. We ended our evening with delicious Desserts & coffees. Everyone was going nuts on Zalabiyas as they kept on coming & vanishing. They were too good. Umm Ali served hot in their traditional clay pots, which went well with the cold weather. Thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, alhamdulillah. ☆☆☆☆☆ • UMM ALI ☆☆☆☆☆☆ • ZALABIYA ☆☆☆☆☆☆ • TURKISH COFFEE • TURKISH MINT TEA POT

Masrawy Egyptian Kitchen is so, so, so good. We came as a group of 10 and it turned into a full feast. The Lamb Shank Fattah was a showstopper, tender meat falling off the bone over saucy rice, easily feeding the table. The Masrawy Mixed Grill was another hit, loaded with kofta, chicken, and beef, all juicy and perfectly seasoned, with plenty of dips to keep it lively. Even the Kawashi with fries had us picking at the platter long after we were full. The food here tastes like Egypt on a plate: rich, soulful, and made for sharing. The prices are reasonable, the portions generous, and the owner makes the rounds like you’re a guest in his home. Even our pickiest friends were too busy eating to talk. Already planning our fourth visit :)

This is a must visit place. The food is absolutely fantastic. We loved every dish. Highly recommend to check this place out. I deduct one star for the service. I had to ask multiple times for water and follow up food. They should assign a waiter to the table to reduce confusion. The staff was not being mean they just seemed out of order.
Kedar N — Google review
Absolutely love this Egyptian restaurant! The food is always delicious with rich, authentic flavors. The serving sizes are huge. One main dish is more than enough for one person. I usually end up getting the rest packed and enjoy it the next day. Every dish we’ve tried so far has been consistently tasty and well-prepared. It does get quite busy on weekends, so I’d recommend coming early or visiting on a weekday for a more relaxed experience. Highly recommend!

In the 2 times we came this week, both had great service and food and gave the nostalgic feeling of Egypt. The one who helped us was sari (not sure of spelling), Thank you sari for the quick and kind service. Taking a trip from Alberta to try this restaurant and has exceeded our expectations and we felt as if we had our meal in Egypt itself!! On top of all of that the food portions will make you leave the restaurant full and satisfied. As a final remark, Please open a chain in Alberta as we would love to see this near us!!

The Rec Room is a family favorite for fun and entertainment, offering more than just an arcade experience. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including bowling, axe throwing, pool, simulators, and a wide selection of video and redemption games. The venue also hosts live entertainment events, so it's worth checking the schedule before your visit.
It brought lot of fun and memories with friends. We had a great time with fun games and bowling. Food was so good. Restaurant was too noisy because they were playing games on a large screen. But everyone enjoyed it. They had a big variety of food and drinks in the menu. Overall it's a great experience.

The Rec Room Mississauga is a fun spot for a quick entertainment fix, but it’s more of a one-hour experience rather than a full evening out. The arcade games are enjoyable, with a mix of classic and modern options, but the selection feels a bit limited if you’re planning to stay longer. While the games are fun, you might find yourself running out of things to do after an hour or so. The atmosphere is lively, and the place is well-maintained, making it a great place to hang out. If you're visiting with friends or family, it’s a good spot for a short gaming session before heading elsewhere. Overall, it’s a nice place for a quick visit, but if you’re expecting hours of entertainment, you might find the options a bit limited. 4 stars!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Rec Room Mississauga is honestly one of the best entertainment spots to hang out with friends or family! 🎉 The vibe here is super energetic and fun – there’s something for everyone. 🎳 The bowling alley is absolutely amazing – clean, well maintained, and perfect for groups looking to have a good time. 🥳 You can also enjoy a game of table tennis 🏓 which makes it even more exciting if you want a mix of activities. 🍹 The drinks and cocktails here are really good too – refreshing, well-made, and the bar has a lively atmosphere. Great spot to chill between games. 🕹️ The arcade section is another highlight – packed with a huge variety of games from classics to modern ones. It really gives you that nostalgic yet updated gaming feel. Super fun and addictive! 🎮✨ Overall, this place has it all – games, bowling, drinks, food, and an amazing atmosphere to keep you entertained for hours. Definitely one of the top spots in Mississauga if you’re looking for a mix of fun and relaxation! 🙌🔥

While at Square One Mall, I stumbled across The Rec Room. They been around since 2019, but it’s my 1st time ever seeing it. I tell you, it brought back a lot of fun memories. It’s a place that I hanged out after school. The only thing is, back then you have to go here for this, then go there for that. Well, at The Rec Room, everything is in 1 place including food and drinks. It’s a much safer and cleaner venue to go to. It’s a great place for work functions, reunions, or any celebratory activities. One can bowl here, play arcade, ping pong, billiards, and so much more. What’s new is the Axe Throwing, Archery, Darts Throwing, and Shuffleboard. I hope they would consider opening another one that is centrally located within the GTA where parking is free. There’s washrooms facility on site. The card at this Rec Room cannot be used in another Rec Room location, but the money attached to the card can be transferred between locations with the help of Customer Service. This Rec Room is located in a mall, so there’s no issues for people with mobility. They have a promo for everyday of the week. Photo is attached.

I had an incredible experience at The Rec Room. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and served promptly. The variety of games made the entire visit fun and engaging. What truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional service from David, the Assistant General Manager of the eatery. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and even offered complimentary items from the menu, which was a generous and unexpected touch. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail genuinely elevated our visit. The Rec Room is already a great spot for food and entertainment, but with team members like David, it becomes unforgettable. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to others.

Jack Darling Memorial Park is a spacious green area located on the shores of Lake Ontario in Mississauga. It offers various amenities such as a dog park, playground, splash pad, and picnic areas with seating for up to 75 people. The park also provides barbecue facilities and public washrooms for visitors' convenience. With its sandy beach, walking trails, and picturesque views of the lake, it's an ideal destination for outdoor activities and family outings.
Jack Darling Park is a wonderful family-friendly spot with a beautiful beach that kids absolutely love. The water is shallow and safe for children, but it is best to bring proper swimming gear, especially for the little ones. The park has a splash pad, a large playground with rides, and plenty of picnic areas with BBQ facilities, perfect for a fun summer day. The walking and biking trails are excellent for a relaxed stroll or a scenic ride. It does get quite crowded on weekends and holidays, and parking can be tricky, so arriving early is a smart idea. Overall, it is a lively, welcoming park that offers plenty to keep both kids and adults happy.

The park is pretty, beaches are nice, but it's very crowded on the weekends and we couldn't find space in the parking lots. We saw that many many cars had parked on the right side of the road where there are signs that say parking is forbidden on certain hours and days. However, we saw some of the cars there with fines on their windshields. Does someone know what these signs mean then? Those cars were outside of the days and restricted hours so ...utterly confused

Scenic, family-friendly park by the lake Jack Darling Memorial Park is a great spot for all ages—lots of green space, a splash pad, playground, picnic areas, and one of the best off-leash dog parks around. The lakefront views are beautiful, and One of the best parts is that the park connects directly to the Rattray Marsh Conservation Area via the waterfront trail, making it perfect for a longer, scenic walk through nature. It gets busy on weekends, so parking can be tight, but it’s a perfect place to relax or spend time outdoors with family, friends, or your dog.

🌳 Jack Darling Memorial Park – Mississauga Review 🌳 Jack Darling Memorial Park is truly one of the best spots in Mississauga for a picnic or a relaxing day out 🌞🍉. The park is spacious with plenty of sitting areas, making it perfect for families, friends, or even just a solo escape into nature 🪑🧺. 💚 Nature lovers will be amazed – the greenery, walking paths, and overall calm vibes really make this park stand out 🌿🌸. You can easily spend hours here enjoying the fresh air, the views, and the peaceful environment. 🚻 The only drawback is the washrooms – they are available but could definitely be cleaner and more hygienic 😕. That’s one area that needs improvement. ☕ Luckily, there’s a Tim Hortons nearby, so you can grab your coffee, snacks, or even bring along some food before heading into the park 🥤🍩. ✨ Overall, if you’re looking for a beautiful picnic spot in Mississauga, this park is a gem! Just be prepared for the washroom situation, but everything else – nature, space, and convenience – makes up for it. 🌳💫

Bobby's Hideaway, a vibrant eatery adorned with caricatures, is renowned for its Greek-American cuisine and famous breakfast options. With an overall rating of 4.3 out of 5, this diner-style establishment offers a delightful experience. The friendly and experienced staff contribute to the pleasant atmosphere, having been part of the team for an extended period. The food consistently meets expectations without reaching extraordinary levels, yet it remains satisfying enough to warrant regular visits.
We went here today for a work lunch. It was my first time. My parents have been a few times for breakfast. I went to the Streetsville Location I noticed the restaurant was busy, but it’s a very popular on food was phenomenal. I had a steak sandwich with fries. My steak was cooked to perfection I asked for medium well the fries were excellent as well Also, everything was clean. The server was amazing. I don’t know her name, but she was very fast I didn’t have to wait long from my lunch. They have an extensive manual selection, so breakfast and lunch so you can choose whatever you want I will definitely be back again thank you for making my first time experiences amazing one

I have been coming to Bob’s hideaway since 2017 to have breakfast with my family. Today my wife and I had breakfast with another couple. We arrived at 9:30 am Saturday morning and it was not very busy. The service was quick. The dining area got packed in a hurry. My friend’s wife said she has never seen so many omelette options on a breakfast menu before. So, if omelette is your thing you will be right at home. We also tried the corned beef hash which was a big hit. We were there for an hour and 18 minutes when we were asked if we wanted the bill. We weren’t quite ready to leave but we completely understood that it is very busy and other guest were waiting to be seated. When we were leaving there was a big line up of people waiting to be seated. My recommendation is to come early. I had pancakes with sausage and sunny side up eggs. The only issue I had with my food was that the sausage was a bit salty for my taste. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. This is my favorite breakfast spot hands down. There are also vegetation options available.

Stopped by Bobby’s Hideaway in Mississauga for Sunday brunch and had a great experience. Tried the Eggs Benedict and Denver Omelette—both were delicious, but the real standout was their home fries. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, they really hit the spot. The bacon and sausages were also top-notch, adding to the hearty meal. The cozy, family-style atmosphere made it a relaxing way to spend a Sunday morning. Definitely a go-to spot for a solid breakfast.

We had brunch on a weekday and it was still packed with people — a full house! Can’t imagine how busy it gets on the weekend. We ordered the Big Bobby, a 1/2 pound certified Angus beef ground chuck, which was really satisfying, and the Veggie Benny, where the poached egg and avocado were just perfect.

Asian restaurant
Axia Restaurant is a unique and exciting dining spot in Mississauga, offering a diverse selection of Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Southeast Asian cuisine in a marketplace setting. The restaurant's fusion approach to food allows for versatility and complements its marketplace ambiance. Notably, Axia serves halal dishes and provides excellent service. Customers have praised the friendly staff, delicious food that can be taken home if not finished, and the calm ambiance despite occasional lively moments.
Awesome restaurant. All the foods are great, tasty and the service is awesome. I have been coming here with my family for over 2 years and we can’t stop coming. My daughter loves the Shanghai noodles, my wife loves the consistency in the taste of the food. The place gives a cozy outdoor feeling even inside.

Visited Axia Restaurant in Mississauga for a birthday treat with friends last Friday … while the overall experience was pleasant and the flavours were decent, the food presentation and creativity felt quite basic. Dishes arrived looking very average, and though the taste was good, it lacked the wow factor in both aesthetics and uniqueness. My friends, who were excited to try it for the first time, also felt the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. Asked for the condiments & loved the stack that was served in the cute little glasses. Made the food taste way better! Lovely service, very attentive to customers, and a nice space, but would love to see more attention to detail in how the food is plated and presented … especially for a spot with such potential and name.

Food Quality: 9/10, everything tasted good. I really enjoyed the Lamb Dry Pot. Good for 2-3 people. It has a numbing spice to it but flavour is quite mild. Lamb was on the chewier side but still very tasty. Would 100% get the Lamb Dry Pot again. I also loved the Sweet Potato Sushi. Time to Order: 5/10 - Servers took 10+ minutes before taking our order. Food Wait Time: 10/10 - Food came out within 5-10 minutes after ordering, very fast!!! Very impressed. Service: 8.5/10 - Staff were friendly. Although we had to wait at the door for quite a while (5 min) before staff tended to seating us for our reservation. Cleanliness: 10/10 - Very clean! Value for Money - 8/10 - Good value. Menu & Dietary Options - 9/10 - Tons of variety. Multiple menus for different cuisines. Vegetarian options available. Halal available. Halal and non-halal kitchen is separate. Please keep in mind this establishment serves pork and alcohol in case that is a problem for you. Would I return again? Absolutely!

Love their bento box, very filling and worth it. The pieces of Salmon sashimi were HUGE! General Tao is always yummy and portion sizes are generous. I’ve been visiting Axia for years and they’ve stayed consistent with their food and service. Even got some fried banana and ice cream for a birthday.

Affordable restaurant with good service, creative decor and so many Asian menu options! Not a long wait for a table on a Friday night. We tried some sushi, bbq pork buns and Thai noodles (can’t remember the name of the dish) and all were tasty. Can’t wait to try out some more menu items next time.

Went in for a late lunch and ordered off the lunch special menu. It has a limited number of popular items on it however the dishes are very fairly priced and you get huge portions - pretty much two meals for the price of one and the same high quality. Food came out hot and fast, washrooms were clean, and two different people came to check on me multiple times. Will definitely go back again.

Cute decor. Spacious. But food isn’t good. Server keeps bothering you and very loud. I find food to be over priced for what you get. Food isn’t fresh. Bought 4 rolls of sushi. Had 2 pieces. And ended up throwing the rest out. The salmon tasted really weird. Oh and not food related but the bathroom smells so bad, and floor is very sticky like your shoes makes sticky sounds when you walk on it. I think using bathroom first made my appetite more ruined.

Had a great experience here today. Decided at last minute to pick up some udon noodles. Service was quick, friendly, and the noodles were very plentiful and flavourful! Huge selection of sushi and other items. And they even surprised me with an order of rice! I will definitely be visiting again to try more of their delicious sushi.

Food is great, but all the time something goes wrong 1. They took the order online, and when you came just realize it canceled 😞 OK, happened. 2. Another chance - order number 2, promo says Buy1 Get1 free. Take your order to find out that missing items 🫣

I ordered two sushi burritos for my sister and I and they were amazing! The taste and ratio of all the ingredients was on point and my sister, who’s not a big fan of sushi, really enjoyed it. We ordered take out and It all came neat and packed properly. I love their burritos and will definitely order in the future!

Generally a take out but made an exception for us as we were a party of 8 and the owner set up a table for us to enjoy the food as an eat in experience 🙏🏻😁

Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Posta Italbar Cucina is a vibrant culinary gem located in the picturesque Port Credit Harbour, where modern design meets stunning water views. This trendy eatery specializes in authentic Italian cuisine, offering a delightful array of pizza and pasta crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. With an emphasis on organic produce, Posta ensures that every dish bursts with flavor and quality. The restaurant boasts one of the largest patios in the city, making it a perfect spot for alfresco dining while soaking up the beautiful surroundings.
Nice spot in port credit with a beautiful view from the patio. Even on a hot day the breeze from the lake will help cool you off. Service was excellent, kind, courteous and checking in to make sure you are taken care of. Food was good and better than a lot of other options in Port Credit. For lunch seems like you can just walk in, for dinner I would recommend making reservations as one of the bus boys mentioned they get really busy.

One of the best patio experiences! The food was good too. We had fettuccine Alfredo pasta rose wine and my friend had a shrimp pasta. The whole vibe of the restaurant was great! We chose patio but as we entered in, the indoor ambience was amazing as well. Loved the overall experience thank you!

This evening, for my fiance's birthday, we had the pleasure of being served by Gabor, who was nothing short of delightful- friendly, attentive, and efficient. He welcomed our last-minute table change with aplomb and made sure everything ran smoothly. But then… A massive wheel of cheese apparently wronged him? With great seriousness, Gabor wheeled the colossal dairy suspect from table to table, ensuring each guest bore witness to the offender. The tension was palpable. What had the cheese done? We may never know. What we do know is that justice was swift and spectacular: The cheese was set dramatically ablaze while the entire restaurant looked on. Delicious food, no notes. I had the branzino, fiance had the bolognese, we'd order both again. We DEVOURED the Brussels, we'll order double of those again! The burger, eggplant parmigiana, and pizza that our guests ordered were also hits. The Americanos were brilliant, and the funnel cake to share was a perfect end. Excellent service, Brussels sprouts you'll dream about, and a cheese show.

We ordered by phone as the kitchen closes at 9:45, we were absolutely starving.. I had the shrimp scampi, which was a bit spicy and tomato ish, with tails still attached to the shrimp. This would normally lower my rating, but the service was so exceptional and my husband‘s pizza was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate, although we had a super late meal. I would definitely return.

Out for a birthday, 10 of us total. I feel like this really tests the staff of a restaurant. But before we get to that, let's talk food. It was honestly good but not great. Although I feel like the prices reflect that for the area as its a decent value. The apps were pretty decent and the pizza good. Honestly, the service was impeccable except for one pretty decent blip. One person in our group ordered a salmon salad, but they forgot the salmon. Fine, it was a mistake, they brought the salmon a good 15-20 minutes later. It happens.... but they also charged us for it. They could have let that slide. Aside from that, it was good all in all. The birthday boy got a nice dessert platter and it was compted. So there was that. For that, I give Posta an above average rating.

We loved our experience at Posta Italbar Cucina! Even though we arrived just before closing, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. We ordered the flaming Parmesan wheel, which was such a fun table-side experience, and the drinks were incredibly refreshing on a hot day. To top it off, we were treated to complimentary dessert. Thank you to the team for making our visit so memorable.

I hosted an event at this restaurant and the outcome exceeded my expectations!! Everything was absolutely perfect - the food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere - simply perfect. The flaming pasta was a delicious add on and totally worth it. 100% recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be back. A big big thanks to the event planners Blon and Rosie for their excellent customer service!

The friendliest service in Port Credit, without question. Ryan wasn't even our server today, but he always pops by to make sure we are doing well. Our actual server was lovely, there was another server who used to serve us at a different restaurant years ago who also remembered us and came by for a quick catch-up. In addition to the warm welcome, the food was all delicious and came out fairly quickly. The dessert I dare say took longer than the mains. Very happy we booked in for the spur of the moment celebration. See you again soon.
