It was very pleasant to visit and find the prices the same as mainland Vancouver. Worth the drive from Osoyoos to Oliver when grocery shopping
ANDRE A — Google review
Never having shopped previously in a No Frills, I was pleasantly surprised at the variety and freshness of the produce and noted that their produce that was on special was quite a good price. I am wondering if in summer do they carry some local produce as this is a food growing region I would like to see them carry a bit more PC Blue Menu products as the No Frills products don't seem to have a line of No/or low salt and/or reduced fat. In general, for a store in a rural area I think the store is pretty well stocked. There are some vegan products. The store is clean and staff friendly. I don't like having to put a loonie in a shopping cart - such a nuisance
Linda M — Google review
I often shop here for my groceries. On March 15th, I bought boneless chicken thighs for over $20. The expiry date is today, March 17th. Last night, I opened my fridge and noticed a foul odor coming from the chicken. It’s really frustrating. This isn’t the first time it’s happened, but I didn’t complain before. I tried calling the store this time, complained about it, and the person hung up on me (probably due to a connection issue), but there was no callback. I can’t go in person today to show it to them, and I’ve had no luck reaching anyone at the store. I'm attaching pictures of an unopened package. I've noticed other reviewers mentioning the same issue—this meat product expires before the stated date. Just a heads-up to everyone to be cautious when purchasing. I would like someone to reach out to me asap.
Chaman B — Google review
I had an extremely disappointing experience with one of your employees. She was rude, dismissive, and completely ignored me during our interaction. Even more concerning, her behavior came across as racially biased, which is absolutely unacceptable. No customer should be treated this way, and I hope the company takes this seriously and addresses the issue appropriately.
S N — Google review
I visited No Frills today to buy a bag of potatoes for $7.99. When I paid with quarters and dimes, the cashier, Natalie, seemed visibly annoyed. She sighed loudly and said, “I’m really busy, you know, and this keeps people waiting”—even though there was no one in line behind me. I felt very disrespected and not valued as a customer. As I was leaving, she rudely told me to “take your change to the bank next time.”!! I felt like a 6 year old being scolded. Clearly, she didn’t realize that banks only accept rolled coins, and only if you’re a customer. It wasn’t like I was paying with pennies, and it took her less than 30 seconds to count the money. Isn’t her position at the grocery store “Cashier”? I have read other reviews of cashiers here being rude - maybe working with public isn’t for everyone. Given that no one else was waiting, her attitude was completely unnecessary.
V — Google review
I was at the store today. Cashier was extremely rude. Her name is Wendy.. As far I know she is the Manager also. I was trying to buy a pot with stamps.. I gave Wendy my stamps… Wendy basically yelled at me for not putting the stamps in the book which I never got in the first place. She was being very rude and threw the stamps back at me. Then when I was trying to explain to her that she can’t speak to me in that way she put her hand in my face. At the end she threw receipt on my face again..Even all of the other customers were looking… I think she is very arrogant and racist lady and needs to learn some customer service.
Anterdeep K — Google review
I paid $30 for two small steaks from this place and holy crap were there ever filled with Gristle. I know it's supposed to be no frills but paying that much for steaks that are essentially horse meat is Criminal. By the way I actually have died at a European restaurant that did serve horse meat in was far better than this.

Busy store. Excellent product choice. Good pricing. Friendly staff. Would have given 5 out of 5 if store was cleaner.

Tinhorn Creek Vineyards is a must-see winery located in the scenic Golden Mile Bench. Before opening their Miradoro Restaurant, visitors could already enjoy their wine tours. The vineyard features the beautiful Golden Mile Trail with stunning valley views that are perfect for a morning hike. Their food is incredible and guests can also indulge in a wine tasting experience with knowledgeable staff who provide great information and service.
My friends and I sat on the balcony for a wine tasting and it was so amazing! All the wines were amazing and our server Pamela was the best! Will for sure be going back!
Holly L — Google review
If you're making a wine tour stop in Oliver, Tinhorn Vineyards needs to be at the absolute top of your list. This place is a solid five stars, and for good reason! First off, let's talk about the setting. The breathtaking views of the valley from their spot are just incredible. You could honestly spend hours just soaking it all in with a glass in hand. It's truly picturesque and adds so much to the whole experience. Then there's the wine itself – absolutely delicious wine, of course! They have a fantastic selection, and every sip was a pleasure. You can tell a lot of care goes into their production. And finally, the staff. They are truly *knowledgeable. You can ask them anything about the wines, the grapes, the region, and they're happy to share their expertise. They make the tasting experience informative and genuinely enjoyable without being pretentious. They offer the perfect trifecta: stunning scenery, fantastic wine, and wonderful people to guide you through it. It's an essential stop for any wine lover in Oliver!

The vineyard is absolutely beautiful...which is why we went back that evening for dinner. We started out very impressed. We were greeted by the most friendly gentleman, he was both professional and welcoming. We both commented what a nice person he was when we sat down at our table. From there our experience went downhill unfortunately. Our servers name was Sam and she could not have been more disinterested... there was no personalized service explaining any of the wines or entrees, she kept running from the table with comments like " I'll be back". It appeared a couple came in that she knew personally and she spent time visiting with them while we were waiting to be attended to. If it had not been for the pleasant busboy clearing dishes and bringing out our water, wine and food we would have been sitting a lengthy amount of time in between. Very disappointed... our experience and evening ended with us having to ask for our bill and then had to ask another hostess for the machine to pay the bill. Not the experience we expected considering we had been to the Burrowing Owl and Hester Creek Vineyards and were treated with such gracious staff. We do visit Osoyoos often and we will definitely try the restaurant again. Hopefully we have better service next time. Customers spend a lot of money when they go to these type establishments ...service is a large part of the experience. Thanks to the rest of the staff and wonderful food we do recommend trying this restaurant...grounds are stunning!! 🍷🍷🍷

We've been to a zillion wineries over the last 40 years, and I'm not even exaggerating that this is the best we ever went to. We had a terrific time from when we stepped through the door, to our tastings, to our wonderful meal at their restaurant. Betty Ann was terrific helping us with our tastings. We sat outside and enjoyed a very casual environment and terrific view as we were allowed to take our time and savour each selection of three wines each. When we were done, we went to the restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful pizza, possibly the best Marguerita pizza we've ever had. This is a compliment since we've eaten pizza in Italy and this was easily just as good. The tomato sauce, the crust, and the mozzarella were incredibly flavorful. Not to mention the views were absolutely astounding. Jamie was our server and he was incredible, great guy, lots of fun. This was one of the best days of our entire 2-week road trip through BC. Thanks to everybody at this location and the staff for making us a really wonderful wine tasting and meal. We bought a full box of wine to show our appreciation!

Went for the science of stemware tasting. It was wonderful. Very informative and absolutely crazy how the right glass for the wine can make it taste so much better. Thank you for turning me into a true wine snob now!!!

We had an outstanding experience at Tin Horn during a recent wine tasting, thanks largely to our server Pamela, whose warm, welcoming demeanor set a relaxed tone from the moment she greeted us. She paired solid knowledge with approachable explanations, and her enthusiasm was contagious; you could tell she genuinely cared that we left happy and informed, making the visit memorable and highly recommendable.

The building was beautiful, from outside and inside. Did not spend too much time inside the main building as the lady who approached us quickly suggested my wife and I to go for lunch at the adjacent building. Nice suggestion but we were kind of hoping for some wine tasting and walk around in the property before eating something. That gave the impression she did not want to spend time with us, maybe? Anyways, we went to the restaurant. A male server (sorry, won't be able to remember his name) assisted us with a corner patio table facing all the vineyards around, great service and great wine suggestions. This was June 2025.
Here A — Google review
We were very excited to visit Tinhorn Creek and it did not disappoint. The views on the patio were wonderful and the variety of wines we were able to taste offered a lovely experience for all. I highly recommend making a reservation for the wine tasting and booking a premium tasting is best. Our group was very pleased and left with many bottles at the end of our experience. Thank you Jesse for taking care of us!

We had an exceptional tasting experience at CheckMate a few days ago. Colin was absolutely fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and a true pleasure to spend time with. The wines were outstanding, and the panoramic view from the balcony is simply breathtaking. We’re so glad we made the trip south—it was well worth it and truly memorable. Highly recommend!

The Grandmasters Tasting Experience: Jackson did an outstanding job of presenting Checkmate wines in a personable and engaging fashion. He also toured us through the property and winery before seating us at the best patio in the Okanagan. The wines, charcuterie and views were amazing. We also appreciated the time taken by membership manager James to make us feel welcome and set up the rest of our VIP day touring two other premium wineries in Oliver. It was a five-star experience. We'll be back for more.

We had such a wonderful experience at Checkmate Winery thanks to our server, Amanda. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, offering thoughtful recommendations that made our tasting feel personalized and special. Amanda struck the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth and she made us feel welcome and taken care of without ever rushing us. Her passion for the wines and genuine hospitality really elevated our visit.

Absolutely brilliant winery. We are so glad we ended our stay in Osoyoos with a visit to Checkmate. Jackson was our person, and he treated us extremely well. We had great chats with him and he really helped us with our decisions on the wine. In the end we purchased six bottles of wine, including a great collection of chardonnays and merlots. The presentation of the six bottles in the gift box were exemplary, and well worth the cost. Thank you to Checkmate, and most of all Jackson, for a wonderful afternoon!

Road 13 Vineyards is a remarkable winery that boasts of an impressive collection of wines such as the GSM, Syrah Malbec, Cabernet Merlot, Jackpot Malbec and Sparkling Chenin Blanc. The ambiance is perfect for relaxation with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The tasting experience is top-notch with friendly service staff who are quick to attend to visitors' needs. Additionally, their charcuterie board is nothing short of delicious.
Fantastic service and very desirable wine. I particularly enjoyed the John Oliver Cabernet Sauvignon. I was very impressed that when I mentioned to our server that we where running a bit late for our next reservation due to another tour taking a long time to move along, she offered to waive our tasting fee. Very considerate, I really would have paid anyways despite the delay but it really showed a concern for her customers. I will definitely come back next time I’m in town. Leah was a fantastic server, and the wine matched that excellent customer service.

We had the most incredible experience at Road 13 Winery with Leah, Lead Wine Ambassador. Our tasting in the cave was nothing short of magical — the atmosphere was stunning, intimate, and truly memorable. The charcuterie board was beautifully presented and paired perfectly with the sensational wines. Leah’s depth of knowledge, warmth, and easy conversational style made the experience both informative and fun. She has a gift for making you feel welcome while guiding you through an unforgettable tasting journey. I’ve visited this winery 3 years in a row and am always impressed! Thank you again, for another memorable year! Cheers!!

A Premier Wine Tasting at Road 13 Winery Our visit to Road 13 Winery in Oliver on Friday, August 5, 2025 was nothing short of exceptional, offering not only a superb tasting experience but also some of the most stunning views in the Okanagan Valley. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the manager, Sarah, whose welcoming demeanor set a wonderful tone for our afternoon. She expertly guided us to a private corner window seat, which offered a breathtaking, panoramic view of the surrounding vineyards and the rolling valley below. It was the perfect spot to begin our tasting journey. Our Wine Ambassador for the day, Jackson, truly made the experience memorable. His passion for the Road 13 offerings was infectious, and he captivated us with his deep knowledge and engaging storytelling about each vintage. The curated wine selections were a testament to the winery's commitment to quality, and the entire experience felt like a fantastic value, a rare combination of top-tier service and exceptional wines at a great price. As a result, we couldn't resist leaving with a bottle of the 2020 John Oliver 5th Element Syrah, a perfect souvenir to relive the experience at home. As a pleasant surprise, we were lucky enough to visit during a special event featuring The Wienery food truck. The collaboration between the winery and the food truck was a highlight, as it allowed us to enjoy our gourmet hot dogs right in the tasting room. This unique pairing enhanced the relaxed atmosphere and added a fun, unexpected bonus to our day. Our visit to Road 13 Winery was a masterclass in hospitality and a must-do for any wine lover. We can't wait to return.

Came down with our doxies today to race and enjoy the events. With 3 doxies and my wife with a brace on her leg. Your staff including the lovely Croatian lady who was over from Liquidity helping with things, they immediately recognized we could maybe use a little help. With kindness and grace, they stepped up as soon as we got out of the truck and checked if we could use some assistance getting down to the event area. We had a really nice time. Your staff saw to it. It’s a special time when your staff engage with your visitors and clients at the genuine level we encountered. Please see that they get our thanks. They were the treat of our day.

We continue to be members of Road 13 due to the phenomenal service of Leah. We were there a couple times in August and her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm bubbled up the energy on the whole table. She takes the time to teach, get to know us and tell us how we can pair wines when we return home. The wines are excellent, some of our very favourite in the area. Cheers to Leah and Road 13. Hester Creek Estate Winery is a historic winery located in southern Okanagan that should be on everyone's must-visit list. Not only are their wines highly regarded and popular among many, but their restaurant Terrafina is also a standout feature. The winery offers excellent service, breathtaking views and an overall amazing experience. Visitors can enjoy a wine tasting, purchase bottles of wine and even have picnic lunches on the beautiful patio.
My husband and I toured the area and stayed at the villa for one night. Upon arrival, Melissa greeted us and showed us the room as well as how to use the satellite TV. She left us with our choice of wine. The room was very quiet and the views of the valley were beautiful. There was an electric fireplace in the room and the beds were very soft and the pillows were the best. The rooms were updated recently, and the radiant flooring in the bathroom was great. In the morning, we were given a delicious homemade breakfast of eggs and fresh fruit and potato chunks and delicious coffee. Would definitely go again.

We came here as reccomended by several other wineries so our expectations were raised, but the tasting itself fell short. Maybe it's because the tasting was complimentary, but the experienced felt very detached and rushed, as if he was waiting for us to quickly finish each sip so we could move on. We ended up buying some bottles so we definitely enjoyed the wine! Just not so much the tasting experience. They have a beautiful space outside where you can sit, sip, and enjoy a boardgame or two.

We had a reservation at another winery and found them to be closed on arrival. Upon deciding to reroute to Hester Creek, we told them of our situation and they found time to fit us into a private tasting in their Garland room. The hospitality, professionalism and knowledge of the team was absolutely stellar. Shoutout to Susan for being a legendary host. The wines here are fantastic, there is something for everyone. I personally always come back for the Judge and Garland.

While reading Christopher Waters Wine Reviews in a late August Globe and Mail, he mentioned a Hester Creek Character Red as one of the best Okanagan Wines. I orders 6 bottles plus 6 Chardonnay because... why not. Best decisions we made. The Character Red is now our favourite Red. We're not strangers to Okanagan Wines, we currently are members of a wine club at Diry Laundry Vineyard in Summerland. Strongly considering Hester Creek club. I was born and raised in the Valley (Summerland) but now live in Toronto. I been passing around BC wines to all my friends and neighbours and the Hester Creek Character Red is a hit. Amazing wine. Oh, and the Chardonnay, pretty good too.

1000/10. Best winery I have genuinely EVER been to. Every time they said a different note or smell or taste in the wine, you could taste it very prominently. The owner was absolutely fantastic and gave so many details about the grapes and different wines. You could really tell they cared about the product they were selling and the experience you had. The property was fantastic, I felt like I was in a European Villa. Atmosphere, customer service, wine all 1000/10. The only way to get this wine is to get it shipped from them or to go to the winery directly. I highly recommend stocking up. Do yourself a favor and come here!

Our absolute favorite winery! We always end up buying a full case for ourselves and another for friends — and then keep ordering online, because their wines are the only thing that make those long Saskatchewan winters survivable (honestly, they should be prescribed for it!). Every wine is a gem: the unforgettable Sage white, their exquisite dessert wines, and the excellent dry reds that are impossible to resist. Tastings are free and include everything, so you really get to explore their whole range. Anna and her sister are true enthusiasts who know their craft inside out — warm, welcoming, and full of passion for what they do. Every visit feels special, and you will definitely not leave empty-handed. We absolutely adore this place!

My boyfriend’s family and I had such a wonderful experience here. We went for a tasting, as we found out they have a special selection of wines, specifically fortified wines. John was extremely knowledgeable and had such a great sense of humor. He had us laughing and really enjoying our time there. We were so impressed with the wide selection of dessert wines. Every single one was delicious, and had unique properties, and reflected high standards for their production process. We won’t share how many we purchased ;) They definitely have our business! It was so nice to sit on the bench outside, take in the view, and enjoy the sounds of the water. Thank you John! We will be back!

My husband and I had the most fun today having a wine tasting with the owner. She is the most delightful and hilarious woman. The wines are all spectacular. There was not one we didn’t like, which is not our ordinary experience at wineries. We usually only like a few, but we had to buy every single one we tasted. This is such a beautiful place too. The drive thru the vineyard is gorgeous a the moment you step of your car the sent of the flower gardens is beautiful. I really can’t say enough. Definitely make a stop here. It’s definitely worth it.

Silver Sage is absolutely a standout winery! The stunning grounds- with beautiful roses and a tranquil pond- create a breathtaking setting. We enjoyed a generous tasting of 13 fruit-forward wines with no fee, guided by a witty and knowledgeable server who kept us laughing throughout. Honestly, I could have taken home a bottle of every wine…. they were all that good! We ended up buying four bottles. Don’t miss this gem- hands down our favourite winery in Osoyoos!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Silver Sage Winery, and I can honestly say it was the absolute highlight of our entire weekend getaway. The accommodations on-site are truly stunning — far beyond what you’d expect when you think of a "winery stay." These aren’t your typical hotel rooms; they feel more like beautifully designed private suites you might find in a luxury home. Every detail was thoughtful — spacious, immaculately clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to views of the vineyards was simply breathtaking. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, perfect for truly unwinding and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Okanagan Valley. The location couldn’t be more ideal if you’re looking to experience the charm and tranquility of wine country. Anna was an absolutely incredible host. She greeted us with warmth, made us feel right at home, and kept us laughing throughout our stay with her wonderful sense of humor. You can tell that both Anna and her entire team take great pride in creating a memorable experience for their guests. While our trip was a short one and we didn’t have as much time as we would have liked to sample more of Silver Sage’s wines, the brief tasting we did manage left us wanting to come back for more. The wines are fantastic, and the setting makes it all the more enjoyable. Thank you again to Anna and everyone at Silver Sage Winery for an unforgettable stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit — and next time, we’ll be staying longer so we can fully enjoy everything this hidden gem has to offer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique, relaxing, and beautiful wine country experience!

5 stars for the view, 1 start for the services. It opened at 11am, and we arrived at exactly 11am. It said “walk-in welcome”, and there are no guest at all in the tasting room, but we were told “Unfortunately, we don’t serve walk in today, normally we could, but today we are too busy” I understand the tasting is fully booked today, but at this moment there are no guests at all, why couldn’t you accommodate walk in? Or maybe just remove the “walk in welcome sign”, put a “reservation required”

Stopped for a wine tasting a few days ago, we opted for the seated tasting of five wines and ordered the charcuterie board. Our server was polite, however it felt like he was rushing us through the tasting. The wines were not to our taste with the exception of the Riesling, which we purchased a couple of bottles. Very nice venue and location.

We had an unforgettable tasting experience at Phantom! Our server Jamie was absolutely the best… funny, friendly, and full of laughs that made the visit so enjoyable. The views were breathtaking, and the wines were exceptional. This winery truly feels like a luxurious resort. They even treated us to exclusive wine tastings, which was such a special touch. Highly recommend visiting Phantom for anyone who loves amazing wine paired with incredible hospitality!

We did the wine tour. Jamie gave us a very knowledgeable and fun tour. Very sophisticated winery and very good wine. And the view and scenery is amazing also.

An Exceptional Experience at Phantom Creek Estates Winery On Friday, August 5, 2025, we had the pleasure of visiting Phantom Creek Estates Winery in Oliver, BC, for a wine tasting that was truly a cut above the rest. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the seamless experience, starting with the easy customer parking and the immaculately maintained grounds that spoke to the winery's high standards. We were warmly greeted by our host, Munir, who guided us to the patio. Her thoughtfulness in offering a more shaded location was greatly appreciated, and our new spot provided an incredible vantage point overlooking the breathtaking valley below. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly our Wine Ambassador, Kash. He was the epitome of professionalism and a true master of his craft. Kash's knowledge of the wines was vast, and he was a fantastic storyteller, weaving narratives about each vintage that made our tasting so much more than just sampling wine. He made us feel incredibly special, personalizing the experience to our tastes and making us feel as though we were the most important guests of the day. We began our journey with a curated Kobau Vineyard flight featuring the 2022 Riesling, 2022 Rose, 2022 carbonic Syrah, and 2022 Cabernet Franc. Each wine was a pleasure to discover. Based on Kash's insightful recommendations, we chose to extend our tasting to include the 2020 and 2021 Syrah, as well as their renowned Chardonnay. His suggestions did not disappoint, and we found ourselves completely enchanted by the additional selections. We couldn't leave without taking a piece of the experience home, so we purchased a bottle of their delightful Chardonnay and the exquisite 2021 Syrah. Our time at Phantom Creek Estates Winery was a testament to outstanding service and a commitment to quality. The beautiful setting, combined with the exceptional hospitality and expertise of individuals like Kash, makes this winery a must-visit destination.

This is the second time we tasted wine at Phantom Creek. The first time was shortly after they opened and the wine was Meh. We gave it a few years to establish and then returned today. The wine was still underwhelming and ridiculously overpriced for it's quality. The charcuterie for $30 left us wanting. There was perhaps $15 value in the food. The service: underwhelming as well. Seeing some staff walk out of the backroom in shorts, t's and backwards ballcaps, was unimpressive. We were left waiting for our bill, despite asking for it. Overall, disappointed here. Also, on August long weekend, there was NO ONE here and they said they had staffing issues. Makes you think.....Hmmmm.

Such a beautiful property with so many expensive art pieces! It was a relaxing afternoon for us. Accommodating staff and stellar rooms

M&J's Country Kitchen is a delightful place with excellent service and delicious, huge portions of food. The bacon served there is thicker than what most restaurants serve, and the coffee is incredible and locally roasted. The staff are fast, genuinely friendly, and attentive to detail. Even on a busy Thursday at lunchtime, the service was quick and every person got exactly what they ordered - hot and promptly.
Great spot for all day breakfast and lunch after 10 am. Small family business. These ladies work hard as it’s often a busy spot. Food is always amazing.

Why oh why do I return to this place, hoping for a better experience??? Glutton for punishment. Every time I've been here, I've had issues. You will not be allowed to substitute for anything on the menu. (The breakfast sausage is terrible! I dont care what anyone else says. To me, they're gross.) So you have to deal with what you get. I like the big breakfast, but I don't want the sausage. I'd like to add more ham or bacon instead. Nope. The place wasn't very busy when we arrived, so I don't see why there would be an issue with a substitution. Zero customer relations. I ordered bacon and scrambled eggs, no sides. My date got eggs Benedict. At least the food was OK, but how can a cook screw up bacon and eggs? I've seen the owner's snide remarks to anyone who posts a negative review instead of being kind... They lash out or insult the reviewer instead of taking any responsibility or trying to fix the issue. Very poor business practice. The place is so outdated and old looking. The staff seemed tired and subpar (though one younger girl was superb), and there's one lady walking around trying to look important (I assume the owner) but not really contributing to anything other than chatting up the old folks who were obviously regulars. I waited the entire meal to get a refill of water for my tea and gave up. Just don't. Go to Smitty's in Osoyoos. At least there, you can get what you want.

This is a great place to eat breakfast. Very traditional diner style experience and the selection is really great. Not sure what the folks who complain are complaining about. They have decent coffee (check), they came by and refilled all the time, toast was toast, eggs were eggs and the pancakes were huge! It is the best home cooked breakfast in town.

This is our first time here as we are on holidays travelling through. We both ordered the 2 eggs which came with bacon and my husband had the ham. I selected the cube potatoes which were fresh and absolutely delicious. My husband had the hash browns again which were fresh potatoes and they also were delicious. I did find that the coffee was a bit weak. Also the noise level was quite high . Our server was very good and attentive.

One of my favourite haunts for a quick, affordable and somehow still phenomenal breakfast. Although my visits are usually first thing in the morning, even the times I've been in the afternoon during peak hours I've felt right at home. The service strikes a great balance between professional and personal. I'm consistently impressed.

While passing through Oliver recently I stopped in for breakfast with my parents. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was SO good! I know what I like and I can be a bit of an Eggs Benny snob so when I order one from somewhere I’ve never been, I do so with “managed expectations”. This eggs Benny was really really good. The hollandaise was flavorful and just the right amount of tart, my eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crisp but not too crisp, and the English muffin tasted fresh. My parents enjoyed their meals as well. Our server was super friendly and very prompt. Thanks for a great breakfast!

Absolutely LOVED this place!!! Delicious food and huge portions.. the coffee was incredible! I came over from Vancouver to visit my dad and took him and his friend there for breakfast. I had the "big K breakfast" and was delighted to see what came... best breakfast I've had in ages. I still can't get over the coffee... it was truly delicious and roasted locally. The service was fabulous - fast and genuinely friendly. Before I left for Vancouver, I went back and had an omelet... I got the "Matt's favourite," and I can definitely see why... ham, onions, mushrooms, 4 eggs and cheese... incredible. It came with hashbrowns and toast. I washed it down again with that amazing coffee, which, quite frankly, was worth the drive on its own. I will be back in town and can't wait to try more on their menu. Thanks, guys!! I came back... coffee hasn't changed.. It's still fabulous. This time, I had a Big K breakfast - 4 eggs, 4 sausages, 4 strips of bacon, a big, thick slice of ham, hashbrowns, and toast. I had to get the hashbrowns to go. I think it was one of the more expensive meals on the menu (at around $30), but it was delicious and well worth the money. I love coming by here when I'm in town!

It was a busy morning (around 10am. On a Saturday). I waited about 5 minutes to be sat. No big deal. Took 35-40ish minutes to get my food after ordering. Waitress was friendly, kept my cup filled. Here is my only complaint. I kinda felt rushed once the staff realized I was near finished eating. I had planned on getting a milkshake but didn’t realize I couldn’t take it with me. So I ordered a milkshake and sat at my table and drank it. I get that it’s busy, but I’m also a paying customer too. I was alone, so I wasn’t chitchatting. Would to not be so rushed during next visit

Restaurant
Miradoro Restaurant at Tinhorn Creek is a seasonal vineyard spot that offers breathtaking panoramic views and serves Mediterranean plates made with fresh local ingredients. Located on the Golden Mile, this winery boasts a spacious patio overlooking the valley and Black Sage Bench. The restaurant is renowned for its refined Italian cuisine, which highlights produce sourced from nearby farmers. Customers rave about the exceptional customer service provided by the staff, who are knowledgeable about both food and wine.
One of the best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant/vineyard. The hostess/server was amazing. Her knowledge of the area was on point. The chef they had that night couldn't have asked for a better one. I had the flank steak cooked to perfection my girlfriend had one of their wood fired pizzas. We went kind of at an in-between time so we had the whole place to ourselves. People just started to show up for the dinner rush when we were leaving. It was perfect. Sat at the corner of the balcony. Best seat in the house for two people. Tried some good ice wine from France for dessert and had a good paired wine with dinner. Perfect night!

An excellent experience in and out. The location on a hill provides views. Ample parking and easy to find. The food tastes amazing and comes in generous portions. Even the basic kids pasta tasted of fresh butter. The staff were very warm and hospitable. it felt like they loved their jobs as everyone we saw had a smile on their face and it only added to the ambience which is amazing due to the nice spacious seating plan that affords views from each table. We went in expecting only the views but came out thoroughly impressed. It’s a must visit in the normally mundane Oosoyoos area. Our host Jamie was amazing and provided great suggestions and went above and beyond. We will be back soon.

After being quickly turned away at two other wineries for lunch (when they were not even close to full), we were warmly greeting promptly by Manager Elizabeth and she was able to accommodate our party across two tables on the patio. Elizabeth, Server Alexa and team took exceptional care of us - sharing information on the menu and wines, and making us feel VERY welcome, even though we were a last minute reservation. We started with cocktails, bubbles and delicious appetizers, followed by a delicious bottle of reserve Cabernet Franc from Tinhorn, pizzas, pastas and the pork chop. We ended with the chocolate budino, tiramisu and affagotos. Thank you to your team for the excellent service and food, and not quickly "dismissing" our large party as happened at other close by places. We will be very happy to recommend your restaurant and winery to others visiting the area!

Whenever we want to treat ourselves to a wonderful dining experience, we come here!! Love this place and been coming here since my high school days. 😆 everyone who works here are friendly and welcoming 🙏🏽 very attentive! overall my mom and I had a great time enjoying ourselves 💗 of course, we’ll be back!

Generous portions in a beautiful setting and the food was good. The pizza was the highlight. The one bummer was that bottles of wine to drink was at a restaurant price, rather than the winery bottle price. And also sadly no EV charging opportunities on the entire property.

Mirado is a fantastic spot, and in my opinion, one of the best places to eat in Oliver. The patio is brilliant, with beautiful views, so definitely try to sit outside if you can. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and despite the place being busy when we went, the food came out surprisingly quickly. I ordered the spicy pizza, which I’d say is the best pizza on the menu. The flavour was excellent, and while I usually enjoy eating the crust, I did find it a bit too chewy at this place. That said, the pizza overall was very good, and the experience more than made up for it. If you’re in Oliver, Mirado is well worth a visit, great atmosphere, good food, and an unbeatable setting.

Amazing spot for eats with a beautiful view. We came here for lunch before a tasting at Tinhorn and it really hit the spot! We got the Pancetta Pizza and the Black Pepper Carbonara—both so so so good. They were super kind to split our pasta into 2 as well. We'll definitely be back. :)
Darrin D — Google review
Food was Italian style, lots of pastas and brick oven pizzas on the menu. Everything was reasonably priced. They had a nice view from their outdoor seating area, would make a reservation as it was busy on a weekend. The outdoor seating area was slightly stuffy and warm so if you get hot easily, would sit indoors with the A/C. Great service.

When did the breakfast meals stop? I just got charged for every individual item ordered after u asked for a breakfast meal which I thought included a coffee. They only charged me for one which I ordered two. Do better!

Absolutely outstanding! My husband went in the restaurant to pick up order to take home, he was offered assistance to his car. Who does that anymore. Thank you to the staff member that went above and beyond! Honestly the staff at this location are the best, happiest and are always happy to serve us. Thank you

Food might be good, I don't know. Service, none. Three of us stopped in for breakfast (take out) only to be ignored after standing at the order desk for minutes on end. It was as if we were invisible, no acknowledgement from any staff, nothing. Drive thru didn't appear that busy either so we walked out and went to the Timmy's north of town. Customer service tip - acknowledge the customers even if you're busy at the time, it goes along way.
