The place is not very big. Inside, the tables could only seat a maximum of four people. The outside seating, which had tables for up to eight people, had a few issues. It was hot, and as soon as our food arrived, we were swarmed with flies. The service was also slow; I had to ask for a glass of water twice. On a positive note, the yellow curry and lamb were delicious, and our friends really enjoyed the vegetarian red curry. However, the salmon was dry and wasn't as good as the other dishes.

Excellent place for authentic Thai food. We loved the flavours, the service and the friendly hosts made us feel completely at home. The food was also prepared with love and served with a smile.

Stopped on a whim and was not disappointed!! Lenna owner was so wonderful and kind to my mother and I. My mom never had Thai food, we ordered a few appies and had a delicious Thai Iced tea. The flavours and presentation were so good!! Would highly recommend. Lenna was so lovely, she had the back prepare a little extra curry chicken and veggies for my mom to try on the house! We chatted and shared stories with her about our heritage and being former Osoyoos residents. It’s a small world! Forever grateful to have had this experience! I had a fantastic experience at this Thai restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The manager was incredibly nice and friendly, making us we felt welcome. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Osoyoos

This is possibly the worst Thai food take-out I’ve had in my whole life. It wasn’t Thai food. It was boiled chicken and vegetables with some spices. The curry was completely thin and soup-like. Nothing was stir fried. Microwaved, perhaps? The pictures depict what we threw away.

Tom yam kun (with rice)& pad Thai we experienced was amazing! And the atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy + the owner Leena and her husband were very hospitality. We really enjoyed having dinner here so we will definitely come back again. If you are thinking what to eat, you must try the food here! Thank you Leena and your husband! See you next time😊

First off the good... The back yard outdoor seating area covered with fall juicy grapes was actually incredible and beautiful... That was unfortunately overshadowed by the absolute price gouging... There was no drink menu so can't see any prices... Small glass of cheap wine $15. The food was bland at best the salmon not even close to fresh, inedible. The portions were way ever priced and I'd say child sized... We're talking 5 small slices of pre frozen beef and some string beans for $30. I've never felt so ripped off by a restaurant. I don't usually do reviews but this one needs a blast. The people themselves were kind and friendly... And again the seating was nice.

An excellent experience in and out. The location on a hill provides views. Ample parking and easy to find. The food tastes amazing and comes in generous portions. Even the basic kids pasta tasted of fresh butter. The staff were very warm and hospitable. it felt like they loved their jobs as everyone we saw had a smile on their face and it only added to the ambience which is amazing due to the nice spacious seating plan that affords views from each table. We went in expecting only the views but came out thoroughly impressed. It’s a must visit in the normally mundane Oosoyoos area. Our host Jamie was amazing and provided great suggestions and went above and beyond. We will be back soon.

After being quickly turned away at two other wineries for lunch (when they were not even close to full), we were warmly greeting promptly by Manager Elizabeth and she was able to accommodate our party across two tables on the patio. Elizabeth, Server Alexa and team took exceptional care of us - sharing information on the menu and wines, and making us feel VERY welcome, even though we were a last minute reservation. We started with cocktails, bubbles and delicious appetizers, followed by a delicious bottle of reserve Cabernet Franc from Tinhorn, pizzas, pastas and the pork chop. We ended with the chocolate budino, tiramisu and affagotos. Thank you to your team for the excellent service and food, and not quickly "dismissing" our large party as happened at other close by places. We will be very happy to recommend your restaurant and winery to others visiting the area!

Generous portions in a beautiful setting and the food was good. The pizza was the highlight. The one bummer was that bottles of wine to drink was at a restaurant price, rather than the winery bottle price. And also sadly no EV charging opportunities on the entire property.

Mirado is a fantastic spot, and in my opinion, one of the best places to eat in Oliver. The patio is brilliant, with beautiful views, so definitely try to sit outside if you can. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and despite the place being busy when we went, the food came out surprisingly quickly. I ordered the spicy pizza, which I’d say is the best pizza on the menu. The flavour was excellent, and while I usually enjoy eating the crust, I did find it a bit too chewy at this place. That said, the pizza overall was very good, and the experience more than made up for it. If you’re in Oliver, Mirado is well worth a visit, great atmosphere, good food, and an unbeatable setting.

Amazing spot for eats with a beautiful view. We came here for lunch before a tasting at Tinhorn and it really hit the spot! We got the Pancetta Pizza and the Black Pepper Carbonara—both so so so good. They were super kind to split our pasta into 2 as well. We'll definitely be back. :)

Food was Italian style, lots of pastas and brick oven pizzas on the menu. Everything was reasonably priced. They had a nice view from their outdoor seating area, would make a reservation as it was busy on a weekend. The outdoor seating area was slightly stuffy and warm so if you get hot easily, would sit indoors with the A/C. Great service.

I went there for a late lunch after my wine tasting and I must say the view on the patio is quite lovely. The food was good and service too. I might have chosen poorly, but I was not impressed by my panini. However, the soup was delicious. I think it might be a great place to have dinner, and if you don't mind paying 50$ for a lunch!

Very friendly staff, great vibe that makes you feel like you're in Italy and amazing food! I couldn't recommend the gnocchi more highly. If you think you've had gnocchi before, think again! Honestly, the only thing that wasn't perfection was that at the very beginning, while we were sitting down, we were asked if we'd like sparkling or still water. My wife chose sparkling. At the end of the meal, on the bill we we were charged $8. Just something to keep in mind as we weren't aware there would be an extra charge for it

We had a wonderful lunch here on a hot, sunny Sunday. The pergola and patio umbrella helped keep us cool while we enjoyed some amazing food! I had an open faced pork belly sandwich that was savoury from some melted Brie and crispy pork belly, sweet from the apple butter, peppery from the arugula and tangy from the pickled red onions. It was so delicious along with a freshly made side Caesar salad! I enjoyed the ti amo margarita with some tequila, sparkling wine and lime. My wife had the potato & truffle pizza which she raved about! Nice savouriness from the potatoes and mozzarella, spicy and peppery from the chili flakes and arugula and richness from the truffle aioli. She had a lovely Cabernet Merlot wine with it. Total was just under $55/person including tip and worth every penny!

Dear Management, I wanted to bring to your attention a matter that I believe requires immediate review. My wife and I recently returned to your property after a number of years, this time as guests in the villas. We were looking forward to dining at your restaurant and had made a reservation for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience left us quite disappointed due to the surprisingly poor food quality. To be clear, the villa accommodations are excellent and the front-of-house service was exceptional. Brittney, our server, was attentive, professional, and provided outstanding service—we truly appreciated her. However, what stood out starkly was the lack of flavour and execution in the food, which was consistent across multiple dishes. Specific Observations: Beet appetizer – Well-prepared and enjoyable. No complaints. Smoked Pulled Pork Pizza – The menu contains inconsistencies (some pizzas are labeled as such, others are not). More importantly, the pizza was flavourless. There was no visible sauce layer, and the white sauce was only lightly drizzled over the lettuce topping—far too subtle to contribute meaningfully to the dish. The overall result was dry and bland. Fettuccine Pasta (Main) – Shockingly, this dish tasted nearly identical to the pizza: lacking any distinct flavour, seasoning, or depth. It felt like an oversight rather than a crafted meal. Frankly, something in your kitchen appears to be fundamentally off. Whether it’s a recipe issue, quality control lapse, or inconsistent execution, I encourage you to have someone from management taste the dishes currently being served. I also suggest a thorough audit of food preparation standards and seasoning practices. A review of your recent online reviews shows others have reported similar concerns—this is not an isolated incident. We love the resort and hope to continue returning in the future. But the current food quality is not reflective of the overall excellence we’ve experienced in other areas of your property. Such a warm and welcoming room for dining. Our lunch and wine was wonderful. We always stop here when visiting the Okanagan, this time we were on the beautiful patio. Just wonderful! Great food! Great service! We’ll be back ✅

An ideal winery dining experience! It’s on the classier, pricier side. But the service and entrees were amazing, not to mention the charming dining space and covered patio! Our waitress was one of the best I think I’ve ever had at any restaurant, very professional! Great wines to try! The charcuterie was very good and plenty as a meal or an appie for 3-4. My friend had a full fancy plate with the pork chops. The cannelloni too was exceptional! The dessert, a Grand Marnier infused peach pie with raspberry compote in a shortbread crust with creme freshe, sounded amazing but sadly did not deliver on taste. The potato pizza was also nothing exceptional - lacks an acid to balance all the starch.

Simply outstanding! The location is amazing with stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The friendly service was top-notch as our server was very helpful with our choices. We started with the Pan Seared Scallops and despite the fact that the restaurant is some 400km from the coast, the scallops were delicious and cooked to perfection! The BC Salmon, Duck Breast and Beef Striploin were exquisitely tasty. For the striploin dish, the blue cheese cream seemed an odd addition with the onion tart only because its flavour is so strong, but it was an amazing combination! The desserts - Chocolate Terrine, Sticky Toffee Pudding – were a perfect end to a perfect meal. We very strongly recommend the Sonora restaurant when you visit the Burrowing Owl Winery and don’t forget to visit the tower which is accessed from the restaurant.

Not a good experience Went for lunch Ordered a vintage white wine .. it came out warm.. strike 1 Ordered charcuterie it was good Then ordered mains… I had the spaghetti dish.. awful and over salted … strike 2 … it was taking away from our server and no mention if I wanted to have any thing else … then she came back and asked me a few minutes later? Really .. Unfortunately, my appetite was ruined. My wife’s dish was okay but the server came back to offer us dessert before my wife had even finished half of her meal … really I don’t care for a Complimentary dessert because you screwed up my spaghetti Even though my wife is still finishing her main dish!? get real wake up people… strike 3 Will not return nor Recommend. Want a disappointing meal?… this is the place for you!

Gorgeous setting on the balcony at Sonora Room - amazing views, and the blinds to cut the sun were much appreciated. The food was great, particularly the focaccia/kale/mushroom/prosciutto special (though both this and the risotto were on the salty side). The wines poured aren't available retail, but surprisingly neither were to our taste.

I was treated to the tasting menu for my birthday and enjoyed every bite. The paired wines were impressive too. Service was great, friendly and efficient, without too much small talk. The views from the patio are spectacular. The chef knows how to cook and plate well.

Extremely positive experience! Me and my parents drove to the restaurant, went inside, and found out it was closed. The staff could have very easily turned us away, but instead they welcomed us in and kept the kitchen open just for us. The staff was very attentive, very friendly, and were very accommodating. Me and my parents shared the bread as well as the charcuterie board and it was all very delicious. I had the grilled cheese with the soup of the day and it was incredible. We unfortunately didn't get any dessert because we were so full by the end, but I'm sure it would have been as delicious as everything else we ordered. Incredible experience, we will definitely be coming back, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The restaurant is huge, and beautiful, with lovely patio dining overlooking the valley. This was by far the best meal we've had on the trip. The Ahi tuna had a fennel and cumin crust that was stellar, and was served with a smoked wine reduction. The grilled cheese on their fresh baked and toasted focaccia was also wonderful. It's cherry season, and having passed a hundred cherry fruit stands I had to try the cherry salad with radicchio and goat cheese. It did not disappoint. With lunch I had a flight of their library wines.The winery has been around since the 1990s, making it among the oldest in the area, so they have a very deep library. The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon was very memorable. at $145 Cdn on the very extensive wine list (which has exclusively Burrowing Owl Wines) I would be tempted to order a bottle of this next time.

Everything was top-notch at the SONORA RESTAURANT except for the BREAKFAST RESTAUTANT (quote and unquote, the MANAGER of the breakfast service), you will only get the friendly experience if you’re NON-BROWN. If you’re NON-WHITE, you will get a look from head to toe. No check back at the table and the last table to be cleared because she doesn’t wanna go near a brown-skinned person.

Juli was amazing, fast service. Amazing food large portions and great quality. 10/10 recommend the chicken sandwich if you’re a chicken sandwich person. The BLT had an immense amount of bacon on it! Very thick bacon that was not some cheap bs bacon like most places. I’ll be back, that’s for sure!

Came here for dinner and the restaurant was not busy at all. We sat outside on the deck and it was very quiet and peaceful. Our daughter ordered the poutine which was a large bowl and she enjoyed it. My husband ordered the quarter bbq chicken with fries and the vegetables of the day. I ordered the half chef salad which had fresh greens, eggs, tomatoes,cucumbers, ham and chicken. The half portion was even big. The service was great and so was the food

This is a great spot for lunch or dinner in Oliver. They have their own locally made beers that are always rotating. They also serve local wines and ciders. They have great daily food and drink specials and happy hour specials. They also host concerts and live music, often by donation. They also host trivia’s and other events. They have a beautiful patio and outdoor seating options when the weather permits. This is a must stop when in Oliver. The staff are friendly. Emmy is always so happy and welcoming and remembers regulars. Make sure to stop in.

Cool converted Firehall restaurant bar. Good food, reasonable prices. Monday is burgers night .$15 for a prime rib burger Roast beef dinner is a great deal any day. Good friendly service.

Great ambiance great service great selection of food & drinks 🍸 alcohol and alcohol free ,out side seating clean and well maintained i am going to be stopping ✋️ here more often ! The poutine i had was wicked the fries were crispy and tasted right and tight 😋 the gravy was nice and robust wholesome flavor filled and lets go the curds were real and squeekie cheese belongs on fries 🍟 smothered in gravy and you need this poutine in your life once and a while trust me and I paired it with a great glass of high quality h20 explosively good combination 😋 I heard the platter of the day was great 👍🏼 aswell pita n taziki , boneless chicken wings ribs and vegetables sticks and it was huge 20$ okanagan spritz 9$ was really good !!! go here for a quick bite a small meal or a 7 course meal close walking destination in Oliver and a must see place

Me and the crew went here to have a small meal and a few drinks , good selection of drinks and decent fries...an enjoyable place to kick it.

Cute atmosphere but service and food are lacking. Ordered the drink special, while drinking the beverage noticed a fly deep in my drink....ordered the beef burger, wanted to try a different sauce advertised, but on the side in case I wasn't a fan- got my meal and side order of sauce wasn't presented with meal had to follow up with waitress and wait quite a bit of time, finally got the sauce but didn't end up loving it - no biggie, until I bit into my burger and discovered the side sauce was piled on under the cheese, completely ruining the flavor. Overall disappointing experience... oh and I was charged full price for the drink with a fly. Won't be returning and do not recommend this place at all.

Had the roast lamb and my girlfriend that the Greek ribs, both dishes were fantastic with large portions and a reasonable price! Service staff were amazing and super friendly. I will definitely return next time I'm in Oliver!!

Had an amazing time! Really good food and the prices were not bad. Excellent servers going above and beyond. To start we had the calamari, generous portion and the restaurant is NOT stingy on tzatziki. (That deserves 5* right there!). Then we had the feta and spinach stuffed chicken and lamb roast with just salad. ❤️ we didn’t touch the pita and couldn’t finish our meals. We are both good eaters, so says a lot about the portion size.

My husband Jeff and I went to Saavios for dinner last night. It was my first time there. We had the pleasure of being served by a lady named Sara. Wow she was exceptional! It was by far, hands down the best experience I have ever had with a server. I would give her more than 5 stars if that was an option and her smile literally lights up the room. The food was decent but I would definitely eat there again just because the service was so wonderful. Just for those wondering if I am a friend or relative of the lady who served us and that’s why I’m giving her such a stellar review, I am not and have never met or seen her in my life. She just deserves the recognition because it’s so rare these days to receive such top notch service.

A lovely Greek place, with nice patio, great food and cheerful servers! Definitely a go-to in Oliver and we will be returning for sure. Portions were ample and delicious, with an excellent menu selection. Accommodating and friendly service staff rounded out an excellent experience!

We went to Aunt Ags for fish and chips with friends who had been previously. The service is good and the cod and chips were generous and delicious. The coleslaw is also very good. Batter is nice and crisp and not so thick it destroys the fish. The fish portions are by weight so not consistent shape. As for atmosphere, it’s a typical fish and chip restaurant- plain and simple. It was very hot inside for October. We’d definitely go again or order take out.

Amazing fish and chips. Have tried the cod, haddock and halibut. Cod and haddock are nice and flaky. Halibut is quite thick and hearty. The prawns are also nicely battered and crunchy. Fries are great but don't leave everything in the box too long or it will get soggy as they come out fresh and hot. The apple coleslaw is nice and light. The clam chowder is well seasoned and perfect for cold days. Will definitely be returning :)

Well, it's true. That was some really good fish and chips. I ordered a 2 piece halibut and my wife got the prawns. The fish portions were absolutely huge, as were the prawns. The fact that the tartar was made in-store is always a good sign. The chips were what you would hope for. We are from out of town but I would get this again in a heartbeat!

Best fish and chips in the Okanagan. Small place that has trouble accommodating parties larger than 4 however they do try if not busy. Check their hours of operation as they are small town hours. All fish and prawns are amazing and the home made fries are as you would expect in a Fish and Chips only place.

Best fish and chips I've had outside of Steveston or White Rock! Their coleslaw and tartar sauce are also amazing. Yummy and pretty well priced. Large portions!

While the fish and chips at this place is great, the service is just awful. You can walk in the door half an hour before they close and be shouted at without so much as a “hello” that you can’t eat in, I assume because they don’t want to clean up a few more tables. They’ll also routinely tell you well before closing that they aren’t making any more food. I brought company to eat here and they were stunned and I was embarrassed. The rudeness is beyond the pale, and I don’t care how good the food is, I won’t set foot in this place again.

We stopped here on our day trip to Osoyoos for a quick lunch. The best decision for the day! The pulled pork on buns was huge in portion with super fresh coleslaw and delicious sauce! The meat was tender, juicy and so flavourful! The location was even better, right beside a park. There ware plenty parking, while I was on the line waiting for my order to be taken, kids could run around and play. (A fenced dog park was there too so if you’re travelling with a pup, they could have a break as well!) We’ll definitely be back here again! Thank you for the great lunch today!

Had a pulled pork burger here. Amazing. Juicy and delicious pulled pork. Huge portion of meat with fresh coleslaw and a nice selection of in-house made sauces. Good value for money. Location is nice as well, you can sit in the park to eat. Will be back here for sure.

Great BBQ food truck. Very reasonable prices and massive amounts of pulled pork. Ribs were also delicious and flavorful. Got a pulled pork bowl, sandwich, full ribs. A must visit in Oliver.

Gluten-free everything if you forgo the buns!! We were so excited to eat here today! Got here right at 11 and the line was already 8 customers deep. So worth the wait!! We got pulled pork with the mustard sauce, rib tips and coleslaw. A beautiful smoky crust with a nice spice level. Absolutely delicious! Even the coleslaw was perfectly done with an excellent balance of mayo and vinegar. Sam’s the man if you are passing through. Well worth the drive and the wait! We are fans!!

We love the juicy, tender, delicious sandwich, filled with 2 inches pull pork that is cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back for more. We also tried the smoked ribs, it was quick dry, didn't really like it.

This is some of the best smoked meat I’ve had in awhile. The rib tips were perfect paired with the sweet n sour sauce and baked beans for the side. Sooooo good.

Food is AMAZING! Best sweet and sour soup I have ever had. Service was fine. My biggest issue is they advertise a buffet on there website and on there front window but there is NO buffet , apparently there has not been for a while now but they haven’t updated anything to say that.

Ok, I read the reviews and should have thought better but I gave them the benefit of a doubt, bad move. Out of the 6 different dishes not a single 1 was any good. The egg rolls were greasy, soggy, and n had no flavor. The fried rice... Have you ever smelled a old fridge like really old that was the taste I got from almost all the dishes, the rice worst of all. I'm disappointed on so many levels, and still hungry as I cannot even force myself to eat this. Do not eat here, I'm usually not a mean person in my reviews but... You completely destroyed every dish and took forever to cook this slop. I wouldn't serve this to the homeless or animals

We walk in and are mumble-greeted by a maybe 13 year old boy, the only employee we see in the place. We finally decipher that he is asking if we are picking up an order. We say no, we are dining in, and he rolls his entire head. Then, he steps back out of the way and just stares at us. We awkwardly found a table and he brought us take out menus. It went downhill from there… O.M.G. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I can’t explain how BAD this food was! We ordered the deep friend wontons to start. Most of it was just burnt pieces of wonton wrapper. A few seemed to have a pea sized of SOMETHING inside of them… not sure that was intentional though. With sweet and sour sauce that was literally boiling when it came out. I’ve never had bland sweet and sour sauce before 🤔 We both ordered the same combo. Pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, and sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour pork was likely a Canadian version of Tyson frozen goods, heated up and covered in the same bland sauce. The chow mein was spaghetti noodles, that appear to have been par boiled and then fried, and the “chicken” were about 5 tiny slices of chicken lunch meat (pictured in the center of the plate). At this point I still had hope for the fried rice, cause that’s hard to mess up! Alas, I was wrong. It had the texture of brown rice, with absolutely zero flavor, even with soy sauce! This place was a huge disappointment, but we should have known better simply from the front window 😂

Absolutely terrible. We ordered chicken balls that were so overcooked that if you threw them at the window, your window might break. The chicken fried rice was okay. The chicken chow mein was spaghetti noodles with chopped chicken on it. The pork vegetable stir fry wasn't anything I would order again AND the sweet and sour sauce was soooo watery that there was no taste except the color to let you know they pass it off as sweet and sour sauce. We were from out of town and leaving the next day, but we did call them and no compensation was given or an apology. I am hoping that my relative who lives in Oliver will somehow be compensated, but unfortunately we will not be.

Good food. Good prices. Good service. Restaurant was clean. The staff was really friendly. Average wait time for take out. The locals recommended this place. I'm not from the area but I'd eat here again if I was passing thru Oliver.

We have been lucky enough to go to Backyard Farms every summer for the past 5 years and we could not be more grateful. Chris and his team are absolutely phenomenal. Between the love that goes into everything, the amazing service, the gorgeous farm to table meals and the welcoming room. Backyard Farm is 100% my favourite place to dine in the entire world. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

I first had the pleasure of meeting Chris, and the team at Backyard Farm in 2019. Well, what can I say other than this has become an annual event I look forward to every year. Some of the best meals I have ever have truly beautiful farm to table dishes and incredible service. Just completed another two dinners and gets better and better every time. If you have the opportunity to dine at Backyard Farm there isn’t enough words to say how truly talented Chris and his team are.

Stopped for a wine tasting a few days ago, we opted for the seated tasting of five wines and ordered the charcuterie board. Our server was polite, however it felt like he was rushing us through the tasting. The wines were not to our taste with the exception of the Riesling, which we purchased a couple of bottles. Very nice venue and location.

We had an unforgettable tasting experience at Phantom! Our server Jamie was absolutely the best… funny, friendly, and full of laughs that made the visit so enjoyable. The views were breathtaking, and the wines were exceptional. This winery truly feels like a luxurious resort. They even treated us to exclusive wine tastings, which was such a special touch. An Exceptional Experience at Phantom Creek Estates Winery On Friday, August 5, 2025, we had the pleasure of visiting Phantom Creek Estates Winery in Oliver, BC, for a wine tasting that was truly a cut above the rest. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the seamless experience, starting with the easy customer parking and the immaculately maintained grounds that spoke to the winery's high standards. We were warmly greeted by our host, Munir, who guided us to the patio. Her thoughtfulness in offering a more shaded location was greatly appreciated, and our new spot provided an incredible vantage point overlooking the breathtaking valley below. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly our Wine Ambassador, Kash. He was the epitome of professionalism and a true master of his craft. Kash's knowledge of the wines was vast, and he was a fantastic storyteller, weaving narratives about each vintage that made our tasting so much more than just sampling wine. He made us feel incredibly special, personalizing the experience to our tastes and making us feel as though we were the most important guests of the day. We began our journey with a curated Kobau Vineyard flight featuring the 2022 Riesling, 2022 Rose, 2022 carbonic Syrah, and 2022 Cabernet Franc. Each wine was a pleasure to discover. Based on Kash's insightful recommendations, we chose to extend our tasting to include the 2020 and 2021 Syrah, as well as their renowned Chardonnay. His suggestions did not disappoint, and we found ourselves completely enchanted by the additional selections. We couldn't leave without taking a piece of the experience home, so we purchased a bottle of their delightful Chardonnay and the exquisite 2021 Syrah. Our time at Phantom Creek Estates Winery was a testament to outstanding service and a commitment to quality. The beautiful setting, combined with the exceptional hospitality and expertise of individuals like Kash, makes this winery a must-visit destination.

The patio and view are amazing, and the service was very professional. The food tasted great and was quite unique. However, the prices are not reasonable for what you get. The small plates are too small for one person, and the large plates are big enough to share. I was also disappointed with the lamb chops—only two pieces and no sides. Overall, it was a nice experience, but the restaurant could improve by adjusting their portion sizes and prices.

A great take out dinner! Pakoras were a bit over cooked, curry was delicious and samosas were very flavourful. Opening hours aren’t always accurate, I recommend calling first.

What are the chances I will find a traditional indian restaurant in the middle of wine country in British Columbia? By traditional I mean non westernized, watered down version of Indian food. The menu says it all - chingri malakari? Never thought I’d see it outside West Bengal! I found it here, along with dozens other food items I can only dream of. Of course it has the local twist - elk samosas anybody? But plenty awesome with all the right wine pairings. The scenery around is beautiful - even in winter. Can only imagine what a beautiful sight it will be in spring/ summer. Thank you for representing traditional and modern India in a true melting pot!

The location is gorgeous, situated on a picturesque vineyard. The food was a bit hit & miss, we ordered the prawn malabar curry which was excellent, however the naan was not authentic tandoori naan and the accompanying rice was very plain. Salad was dressed with a bottled dressing, I would have much preferred olive oil/lemon juice. My husband ordered the vegetable curry and we were delighted to see it was full of fresh garden vegetables, his lacha paratha was flaky and tasty as it should be. Yet again the salad tasted weird. Also ordered chaat papdi, which was ok but not authentic either and had glasse fruits (the kind you put on a fruitcake). Would have been better with the traditional fresh pomegranate seeds. The mojito was too sweet, I wish it had more black pepper & lime with less sugar. Our server was friendly, and chatty, I would recommend this place for the prawn curry, lacha paratha and the service!

Lovely restaurant set on the edge of the vineyards. In following with the Kismet theme, the food is Indian fusion. There are a variety of dishes and most have good flavor. But, for Indian food, we found a general lack of spice and depth despite asking dishes to be made as spicy as possible. For example, the pani puri chat is actually sweet! 4 stars only because having an Indian restaurant in the middle of wine country is unique. Excellent service and staff. And, of course, good wine pairings.

Absolutely incredible food, the most amazing service, and a very relaxing, beautiful atmosphere. We shared the elk/chicken/veggie Samosas & veggie pakorkas. Our mains were the Malbar Chicken, Curry Chicken, Butter Chicken… all of them, 10/10. Especially the chai tea. It was such an absolute treat, we will be back! 😍

Delicious Indian cuisine. The vegetarian options in particular are delicious, though the meat dishes also have lovely flavor. we started with the delicious vegetable samosas, which were to die for! My wife and I enjoyed the chickpea curry, the Matter Paneer, and the lamb veggie. We'll definitely be back!

Great food at a very good price. Family own restaurant that have been open for more than 20 years. They make you feel special by really appreciating you as a customer. Really nice people and delicious indian food.

Family friendly and cozy home cooking style - a safe bet for indian food lovers. Service was quite fast and and food tasty.

The food was good, and the owner/chef - I wish I caught his name - went above and beyond to help us out. I stupidly forgot to ask about an allergen on a takeout order, and when I called to find out if there were tree nuts in one of the dishes, he offered to remake it without nuts for free. Fifteen minutes later I had a new, nut-free curry (and something to eat after a long day on the road, and this in a town without many options on a Sunday night).

Ridiculously small amount of meat in the butter chicken and lamb curry for $30! Tried it a couple of times but this is the last.

We had a lovely meal! One was hot, and the person who ate it said that it was wonderfully flavourful and packed a punch. The butter chicken was amazing. We had enough for two meals. Will return.

Remarkable! The food was delicious, some of the best indian I have ever had. I'm not a fan of hot food (spicy) and they accommodated perfectly. They advised that the samosa may be spicy I still thoroughly enjoyed it, albeit spicy. Everything was just incredible would give 6 stars if I could. I even gave a 50% tip to show how much they made my experience memorable

The pizza is nice, we had a beef burger, taco and cheese medium and they were all good. My favourite was the taco - juicy and fresh tasting. This place could use an uplift though.

The staff are magnifique! The chili, according to Frank, is the best he's had in years. My pizza slice was a generous size and delicious. Take your time and enjoy the ambiance. An artist has modified the bathroom walls.

Amazing pizza! I was working in town and stopped by for dinner. At first I was a little worried it was only a pizza by the slice kind of place. We ordered a cajun steak and it turned out to be on of the best pizza's I've ever had! If I'm anywhere near town I'll be coming back for more!

It barely made it home it was so good!! My husband and I have been trying pizza in Oliver everywhere we can, him and I agree, this pizza was the best pizza in Oliver hands down. It the right amount of toppings loaded with cheese and tons of sauce on a fantastic crust. This is amazing pizza and I highly recommend ordering here. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Visiting from Ontario and was staying just a bit outside of Oliver. Partner wanted pasta, I wanted pizza so we went with Pizza 97 after a quick search on Google of local restaurant options. We ended up going with a pizza and spaghetti. Food: It was good pizza and spaghetti. I'm pretty picky on pizza and I'd definitely order again, however one thing I am stingy on is bacon crumble vs strip. If it was pieces of bacon strip I would have given food 5 stars. My partner says the spaghetti with meatballs was good too. The garlic fingers were a nice addition. Service: Service was as to be suspected for a pizza place. Walked in, reviewed menu, placed order, 25 minutes ETA, 25 minute pick up time. Wouldn't say anything stood out as great or bad. Atmosphere: I don't really have great things to say about the atmosphere of the restaurant upon entering. It's dated looking. It's not aesthetically appealing. However, it has the look of a restaurant that probably is well established and has some pretty decent food. It reminds me of a few delicious restaurants back home. Would upgrade to 5 stars if the arcade machines were working as my partner is a gamer and would have been in heaven waiting for our food. Overall: If you are visiting thru the area and are looking for some decent take out pizza or Italian cuisine check them out and I am sure you won't be disappointed 😁

The zaa is best in town, if they had those arcade games going id be there all day. 9.1/10, id almost go a 9.2 but one bite everyone knows the rules on the zaa which is currently highest of my rankings, basically worth a drive from osoyoos or pen for a pie cause this crust is incredible.

My first impression, was like walking up to an old abandoned building, but there were signs of life with clutter, a basil plant and a bag of onions out back. Walking in your confronted with more clutter, a storage area of old dusty arcade machines. The person who served me was courteous and kind. Then upon leaving I was alarmed by the built up grime on the door. The environment made me question the cleanliness and pride. The pizza did not meet my expectations or criteria for great pizza. All in all it wasnt for me.

We have heard the best stuff about Pizza 97. Lots of toppings. We are newer to Oliver and have tried a few places with disappointment. So we finally tried out Pizza 97, topping were good, but couldn’t tell the Mediterranean from the House special? Unfortunately the pizza’s were overdone, black on the back and crust. 🥲

This food was garbage. Trash. It was burnt, he used old rotten vegetables and it was 64 dollars for 2 large pizzas. We couldnt stomach more than 1 bite. Im not sure how he can even call this pizza. Youd be better off going to save on foods and getting a pre frozen pizza and leaving it out in the sun to cook while you go swiming. I cant believe he can get away with selling this as pizza. Its disgusting. It was 1/4 inch thick INCLUDING THE toppings. Im not sure how or why but my last review was taken down. NEVER go here. Unless you like wasting money.

The food is always good—I have no complaints there. But the coffee this morning… that’s another story. I ordered two iced vanilla lattes, and the girl who served me handed me two drinks. One looked like a proper latte. The other? It looked like a plain cup of milk. I asked her, “Is this an iced vanilla latte?” With the straightest face and full confidence, she replied, “Yes, that’s the vanilla latte.” People—please tell me: how does this look like a vanilla latte?! One was a creamy light-brown color with visible espresso. The other was just white. Literally a cup of milk. I was so flabbergasted by her response that I just left. But when I got home and tasted it—guess what? IT WAS JUST MILK. LADY, THAT’S NOT A LATTE. WHAT THE HELL?! If a mistake was made or the machine was down, just tell me and offer a refund. It’s that simple. Don’t try and pass off the drink as something it isn’t. I’m not stupid—I’ve had plenty of lattes in my life. I know what they’re supposed to look and taste like. She probably knew I wasn’t gonna argue with her or anything that’s why she took advantage of me in the moment but that’s just my opinion. Won’t go back there again for drinks that is for sure. Do better, please. 🙏🏽

This is the second time we have gotten re fried onion rings. They smell bad, taste awful, are greasy. My husbands fries were also refried. This location needs to do better. Not the first issue we have had with this place. From bad food to awful service.

We really enjoyed our hamburgers and fries here. I like that you can order diet root beer instead of the regular stuff on the menu. The drive-thru service was okay but the gal didn't seem too friendly. Our food was nice and hot, and our burgers were very flavorful. We just went through the drive-thru and did not dine in.

It's not a bad place. The workers just don't seem to care. Ordered a pair of teen burgs with onion rings. They over cooked the onion rings. Then lied and said they only cooked them for 30 seconds even though they were black and burnt. After being stubborn and demanding that they recook my food they did and the new onion rings were fine. Really terrible that they would lie about it.

Super friendly staff. Lots of people eating in, some were regulars because the staff knew their names. My food was piping hot which I appreciated.

Came through the morning of Aug 19th and the female staff member working the window at the time was super cold and unwelcoming. Very unfriendly. Even after I said thank you for the food, she just said “yep” then shut the window. No idea what her problem was but clearly wasn’t having a good time. Note to owners: if you want good customer service responses, put someone nice on the window!! Also, toast was super burnt. Disappointed!

Wings were great on wing night. Atmosphere was very nice. Smooth good service. But the seller is the stuffed Yorkys...do not miss out on this gem.

Very disappointed in the chinese food. Poor quality and small portions. First time trying out the chinese $50 later for dinner for two for takeout and this is what we recieved. Food was cold and tasted old served out of buffet. Tried to speak to the manager about it and was blocked. Used to be my favorite restaurant in town.. wont be dining here again.

We booked a reservation for 6:30 for 8 with 2 of our guests arriving a little later for 7. We arrived at 6:30. Ordered our first drink and were advised that the kitchen closes at 7. We were not told that when we reserved. Food orders had to be placed and they could keep the kitchen open till 7:10 for the couple that arrived at 7. This is a total lack of communication on their part. The website says 11:00 a.m. till Close. What time is close ?? Our Going Away Dinner Party was like speed dating... Inhale food..drink fast and out within 90 mins. Here we thought we were going for an evening celebration with our friend. Only to feel the staff waiting for us to leave. Total disappointment. Sadly I would not recommend any kind of get together there unless an afternoon gathering. I will commend the young fella who was our waiter. He was somewhat in an uncomfortable position yet he handled the situation most fabulously !! Thank you

All three of us had a steak sandwich and they were pretty good the cook of my steak wasn’t as I wanted but other then that everyone enjoyed everything.

I had the wings, which were on special. Very tasty. Service was great. Beautiful location! I love the statues and artwork. Anita was there doing karaok night and she'll be there every Wednesday. So much fun.

This place is great! Though the staff were friendly, I had to ask for water and call out to get some hot sauce. Not the greatest service for such a small place. I had nachos and asked for extra jalapeños, which were spears instead of bits, which made it more difficult to get bits in all my bites. Don’t get me wrong… The nachos were delicious! My cousin had enchiladas and she too was very pleased. All in all, it was a great lunch

Ordered enchiladas with red salsa. I got green salsa and the dish was cold. It was somewhat tasty but the salsa mix up which would have been more flavorful, and the temperature disappointed me right from the start. The waitress was by once to seat me, once to take my order and once to give me The bill. Never came by to ask if my order was OK or if I needed anything. The lunch portions are small so if your hungry order multiples. I give everyone 2 shots, I’ll try again

Worse food I have ever had. I order the green curry chicken, this what I got. See photo. I also order the thick noodle chow me in, this what I got. All I could tatste was curry paste. Couldn't eat either of them. I would.not recommend them at all, and will never be going there again.

$16 for a diner for one that was cooked in 10 minutes. I would suggest to go spend your money elsewhere in all honesty worst Chinese food ever wouldn’t ever go there again and there sweet and sour sauce all you smell is ketchup and the breading around the sweet and sour pork and sesame chicken was just full of grease. Only thing that was actually edible was the rice and spring roll. Like I said go spend your money somewhere else definitely not worth it!

Yes, the portions are not big but the food were quite delicious. I live in Vancouver and came to olive for a vacation. I ordered shanghai thick noodle chow mein and sliced chicken with mushroom and peas to go as dine in is not available at this time. I would revisit them if this restaurant was in Vancouver.

First time at Sizzling Rice Jan 2020, food was pretty good but the portions were tiny...the $3 egg roll looked like the frozen hors d'oeuvres variety, maybe 15 pieces of ginger beef, 10 pieces of salt and pepper squid, single serving of sizzling rice...TINY PORTIONS. This speaks to comfort in the lack of competition in Oliver, not going back.

Stopped in at Popolo after a recommendation from a local winery and was incredibly impressed. The wine list has a great mix of styles from the surrounding region, with something for any fan of wine. Beer list was small but interesting, and they offer staple cocktails. Our server Savannah was fantastic. Friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable about both the food and drinks, and attentive to our table without being imposing. The food was exquisite, they're obviously using fresh local ingredients and the chef knows how to treat them. The pasta made in-house was delightful, and flavours impeccably well-balanced. I overheard that they offer gluten-free pasta options, and many offerings are vegetarian so there's something for everyone. I'll definitely be back when I visit the area again!

Very disappointed! The food was so spicy hot, like no pasta I ever had before! Wife and I love Indian and Thai, but at least those dishes have flavor besides hotness, this was pure hotness. The waiter never mentioned anything even though we went there with two kids (5 and 8) and ordered two dishes for them. As far as the ingredients go, the base seems to be standard store pasta (their "spaghetti" and "linguine" are the same) and canned tomato sauce, so I guess they had to cover it up with chili flakes, pepper, and whatever else they put in there.

I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs expecting a very good pasta and the dish was beyond my expectations. The pasta was the star of the meal: simply presented with just the right amount of fantastic sauce and three firm and delicious meatballs, the spaghetti noodles were the best I ever had. I look forward to returning to Oliver and dining again at Popolo.

Pasta was absolutely amazing, tasted delicious and was super filling too! Gelato was also incredible, cappuccino flavor for the win definitely. Service was fast and polite, our waiter Nick was also very knowledgeable on the wine menu which was helpful. Will definitely be back, thank you!!!

My friend and I went there to order a 6 inch each and the amount of attitude coming from the first old to serve us was crazy. Never had my sandwich thrown around like that before we didn’t do anything. We were just saying what we wanted and she wasn’t listening and kept assuming what we wanted and throwing things on our sandwich which we didn’t want and even giving her coworker attitude which in the end resulted with the coworker giving us attitude, which is wrong I’m not too sure what’s going on in there, but it seems like maybe those two old bats have some problems with each other and they’re taking it out on customers whatever is going on pretty poor customer service

Food is always good. I've noticed the veggies have been a lot more fresh these past few visits. I don't know if it's a change in management or something but it has gotten a lot better. One thing I did notice on this visit is (and I hope they take this as a learning post) was cross contamination. I don't have any problems with my diet but for someone who is vegetarian or vegan or allergic to a certain vegetable or cheese or meat than I think the staff need a ln update course on how to prevent cross contamination. My server did all my meats with the same gloves, which is fine, but after handling the meat with the gloves, he reached into the veggies with the same gloves. Maybe need small tongs or a small serving spoon for these vegetables is a need.

In my opinion, I don't understand why there is ony 2 staff members working and 1 worker helps 1 customer out only..while the other does work around the store. There should be more staff so they can serve more than 1 customer at a time especially when large groups of people like a family or the high school kids on lunch break.

Have tried using their website for months to order, never works. I've called in orders in past, communicated to them that there's issues with website. They blame me! Today was final time for trying. Website didn't work, called in & got put on hold for 5 minutes before just hanging up. Ended up ordering from the dq website instead.

This is Mexican food done proper. Anyone that says the portions are too small for the price are wrong. It's just right. The quality of the food, meat and tortillas are fantastic. This place does take out but stay for the service. Very friendly and just a wonderful hospitable family. would rate higher that 5. Hope they are around for a long time

Service was very quick and the food was tasty. However, it was a ridiculous price for the portion we received. The small margaritas were $9 each and the special ( which was of course not listed on the menu and we ordered based on the server’s recommendation) was $18 each. It was very little food and we were both left hungry afterwards, leaving us with a $ 58 bill for an unsatisfying lunch. I would not go back unless they lowered their prices or increased their portions by a significant amount.

Had an excellent experience at Casa Luna. The food tasted great, came out quickly and presented well. The service was friendly and attentive. It was someone's birthday at the table beside so they sang a Mexican birthday song which I thought was a nice touch to go above and beyond. I appreciate having another restaurant option in Oliver. Casa Luna is a must try!

I have stopped here before for an appt and beer and was okay. Went for Sunday Brunch the other day and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts we have had in a long time. I had the full English breakfast and everything about it was delicious- Wife had the falafel ….house-made falafel, tzatziki, pickled shallots, shaved lettuce, tomatoes in a warm pita… and was amazing - most of the food is made in house or local sourced and it tastes like it - everything was fresh tasting, well presented and delicious…. sorry about the photo - forgot to snap a pic until part way into the meal

SO GOOD! Everything is made from scratch, even the sauces. Veggies are grown out back. It’s nice to see a place that cares. We shared the beef dip with fries and added a small salad for lunch. 5 star for sure.

Service was incredible!! Gabby (I hope I’m spelling her name right) was very attentive, friendly and helpful. She always has a smile on her face and she gave us a really good overall experience. Food was also good! My fave was the crab spring rolls with the sweet dipping sauce. The fire cracker prawns was good as well (not spicy at all in my humble opinion), that garlic bread dipped in the sauce was MWAH chefs kiss. my fries were thicker cut but it was cooked thru and it was very yummy! My falafel wrap I had just a couple of bites but it was full of flavour and spices. Yum yum! Only thing was the wings. I find when you make chicken wings if you batter them they help to soak up the sauce a bit so it’s not as bland. Otherwise really really make it saucy! Ours wasn’t breaded and we found there wasn’t a lot of sauce on it so it tasted kind of bland and dry. The sauce was good tho! Will be back! :)

Enjoyed a late lunch with a dear friend. My wife and our friend thoroughly enjoyed the Fish and Chips. I had the Irish Stew. Wonderfully rich and full flavoured. Top notch. Service was attentive and unassuming at the same time. Great atmosphere.

Suuuuuuperb experience. Service was on point, food was killer. I'm a guy who typically asks for extra mushrooms on every pasta dish, and they did not disappoint. My wife and I shared the two-piece fish and chips with the pasta dish, cleared both plates entirely. My kids loved the rigatoni with tomato sauce and nice Parmesan cheese. Classic and rustic sauce. Pretty hard to go wrong! Super warm atmosphere too. Highly recommend.

They have great hamburgers and fish and chips. Did not try but have bangers and mash and lots of Irish/UK type of food. Very nice people. Went there twice on our travels. The town is Oliver and apparently long ago, it was noticed there were no fleas in the town. Thus the name of the restaurant. Highly recommended. They also have great desserts.

Stopped there on our road trip yesterday and I’m so glad we did ! Gabby made us feel so comfortable and gave amazing service, to top it off the food was sooo good Would definitely stop by again when I’m in the area!

Why oh why do I return to this place, hoping for a better experience??? Glutton for punishment. Every time I've been here, I've had issues. You will not be allowed to substitute for anything on the menu. (The breakfast sausage is terrible! I dont care what anyone else says. To me, they're gross.) So you have to deal with what you get. I like the big breakfast, but I don't want the sausage. I'd like to add more ham or bacon instead. Nope. The place wasn't very busy when we arrived, so I don't see why there would be an issue with a substitution. Zero customer relations. I ordered bacon and scrambled eggs, no sides. My date got eggs Benedict. At least the food was OK, but how can a cook screw up bacon and eggs? I've seen the owner's snide remarks to anyone who posts a negative review instead of being kind... They lash out or insult the reviewer instead of taking any responsibility or trying to fix the issue. Very poor business practice. The place is so outdated and old looking. The staff seemed tired and subpar (though one younger girl was superb), and there's one lady walking around trying to look important (I assume the owner) but not really contributing to anything other than chatting up the old folks who were obviously regulars. I waited the entire meal to get a refill of water for my tea and gave up. Just don't. Go to Smitty's in Osoyoos. At least there, you can get what you want.

This is a great place to eat breakfast. Very traditional diner style experience and the selection is really great. Not sure what the folks who complain are complaining about. They have decent coffee (check), they came by and refilled all the time, toast was toast, eggs were eggs and the pancakes were huge! It is the best home cooked breakfast in town.

This is our first time here as we are on holidays travelling through. We both ordered the 2 eggs which came with bacon and my husband had the ham. I selected the cube potatoes which were fresh and absolutely delicious. My husband had the hash browns again which were fresh potatoes and they also were delicious. I did find that the coffee was a bit weak. Also the noise level was quite high . Our server was very good and attentive.

One of my favourite haunts for a quick, affordable and somehow still phenomenal breakfast. Although my visits are usually first thing in the morning, even the times I've been in the afternoon during peak hours I've felt right at home. The service strikes a great balance between professional and personal. I'm consistently impressed.

While passing through Oliver recently I stopped in for breakfast with my parents. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was SO good! I know what I like and I can be a bit of an Eggs Benny snob so when I order one from somewhere I’ve never been, I do so with “managed expectations”. This eggs Benny was really really good. The hollandaise was flavorful and just the right amount of tart, my eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crisp but not too crisp, and the English muffin tasted fresh. My parents enjoyed their meals as well. Our server was super friendly and very prompt. Thanks for a great breakfast!

Absolutely LOVED this place!!! Delicious food and huge portions.. the coffee was incredible! I came over from Vancouver to visit my dad and took him and his friend there for breakfast. I had the "big K breakfast" and was delighted to see what came... best breakfast I've had in ages. I still can't get over the coffee... it was truly delicious and roasted locally. The service was fabulous - fast and genuinely friendly. Before I left for Vancouver, I went back and had an omelet... I got the "Matt's favourite," and I can definitely see why... ham, onions, mushrooms, 4 eggs and cheese... incredible. It came with hashbrowns and toast. I washed it down again with that amazing coffee, which, quite frankly, was worth the drive on its own. I will be back in town and can't wait to try more on their menu. Thanks, guys!! I came back... coffee hasn't changed.. It's still fabulous. This time, I had a Big K breakfast - 4 eggs, 4 sausages, 4 strips of bacon, a big, thick slice of ham, hashbrowns, and toast. I had to get the hashbrowns to go. I think it was one of the more expensive meals on the menu (at around $30), but it was delicious and well worth the money. I love coming by here when I'm in town!

It was a busy morning (around 10am. On a Saturday). I waited about 5 minutes to be sat. No big deal. Took 35-40ish minutes to get my food after ordering. Waitress was friendly, kept my cup filled. Here is my only complaint. I kinda felt rushed once the staff realized I was near finished eating. I had planned on getting a milkshake but didn’t realize I couldn’t take it with me. So I ordered a milkshake and sat at my table and drank it. I get that it’s busy, but I’m also a paying customer too. I was alone, so I wasn’t chitchatting. Would to not be so rushed during next visit

A great take out place in the nook of the town. Food feels fresh, and rolls are pretty good. 😋🍣 Definitely worth a shot if you’re having a sushi night! 🥢🎉

The sushi is affordable, not the best, but the kids love it. The dynamite rolls are massive. I would prefer a lot less crab meat in them so I can actually taste the other fillings. But all around a decent value for your money. The delivery is fast, and the man who does the deliveries is super sweet. We also enjoy their pizza, the dough is my favourite.

It was very yummy and the service was good! I liked the flavour of olives & ingredients. I’ve also tried their sushi rolls too, those were also good. If you are in Oliver I highly recommend to try it out!

The udon is quite decent, and the broth stands out as being different from other udon places I’ve tried.

Really tasty beef teriyaki, super tender and packed with flavour. The California rolls were fresh and just what I was craving. Everything had that homemade feel, and the service was friendly and quick. Great prices too. Left full and happy—definitely coming back

I ordered a lasagna and what a disappointment. The piece was so small and they charged $14 for a tiny piece. Meanwhile the spaghetti was full. I didn't touch the lasagna and will be looking to return it for a refund. Go any where else but Pizza Rolla.

Understaffed location and it shows. Ordered a breakfast wrap and the egg tasted rotten. After examining the wrap I found the egg was black and way over cooked. Maybe you guys should just stick to coffee and leave food to McDonalds. Since the Burger king merger Tim Hortons has been declining and is and will be replaced with McDonald's, a burger joint that started selling burgers and now out performs the donut shop that started with donuts and coffee. What a shame.

Don't come here if you're expecting a quick drive thru experience. I started coming here out of convenience but it might actually be faster to drive to the other location on the south side of town. As drive thru times here often exceed 10 minutes. My wait in line between two other cars today was almost 15 minutes. Ridiculously slow.

Four "workers" behind the counter, no one in the store but me and they all pretended to be busy occasionally looking up to see of i was still there and then going back to pretending they were busy. After a few minutes I simply left. The service industry has tanked since these establishments have stopped employing locals. Hire some local teenagers who need part time jobs.

Very poor communication, it’s been a few times that I’ve been here and every single time either they don’t understand a simple order and make us repeat 3 times or we get a mistake on our order. Every single time it’s a bad surprise. We tried to be more than clear when ordering but they just don’t understand a thing… maybe it’s language barrier, they don’t understand what they have on their menu or just staff not being trained enough? there’s a serious problem… fix it or go open an other place that is less complicated than Tim Horton.

Service was the most horrible that I ever experienced in a Tim Horton's. I know it is a cheap coffee but the customer service should not be cheap. They should provide a great service if they want people to come back. The lady at the front desk taking my order was extremely rude. Apparently her name is Shub... not sure if I spelled it correctly. If she doesn't understand my order is fine... but there is no necessity to rise her voice and shows her frustration. Although, I don't think is difficult to understand that I want a medium French vanilla with half coffee doble doble. I ordered the same coffee every where I go in Canada and this is the first time that I heard they don't know what that's meant. I hope you gave them a better training.

Look, if you're going to charge $1 for extra cream cheese, it better be so much cream cheese that I need to order a second bagel. It's my pregnancy craving right now, and my husband went to grab me one. When he came home, I was disappointed to see umm regular amount of cream cheese. Kind of upsetting, but I was starving so I ate it anyway. But yeah, stop charging for extra cream cheese when you're not putting on extra.

Came here for lunch and brought grandma with us to get her out and about. The charges for their lunch specials were very reasonably priced. We went with a variety of items: Chicken curry 8/10, Lamb vindaloo 8/10, Fish pakora 8/10, Veggie momos 7/10, Mushroom pakora 8/10, Palak paneer 9/10, and Mango lassi 8/10. I’m glad I went with medium spice since it was flavourful and had just the right amount of kick. Was also glad the lunch special came with both naan and rice since they were both good with the curries. Service was good however it would be nice if they touched base a little more often. It did get busier while we were there though. If you like Indian food, this place is worth checking out. We would come back.

Food was delicious and very reasonable pricing. My man and I really enjoyed our stuffed naan and our two curries a lot. We got chicken tikka and vindaloo. Yummy!!! Sadly I had to take two stars off because of the ambiance overall. The whole time we were there we were slapping flies away from our face. I get it. I work in the food industry too and flies are inevitable but flying by your face/mouth while you’re trying to enjoy your dinner the whole time is just too yucky to be ok with. And while I appreciate some new “renovation” it still felt like none had happened at all inside. Not sure what I was expecting but the place felt outdated, old and messy and plus the flies… it wasn’t a good dine in experience overall. I just think it would be way better if the inside of the restaurant looks better/updated and feels more inviting. Loved our waiter she was great I tipped her well and the food! but will probably only order take out from now on. Won’t be dining inside again. Sorry!

We found a couple hairs in our food, nothing tasted very good, and the “momos” they’re selling are just frozen gyozas. Overall disappointed.

Amazing meal! Been meaning to try them out for a while. My partner and i shared the chicken tikki butter masala and the lamb saag. Food was hot, perfect amount of spice and service was amazing. Girls were knowledgeable and very friendly. Will definitely eat here again!!!

Highly recommend the Indian food here. Their dishes were flavourful and their portions were large. My favourite was the korma, but the saag, vindaloo and fish pakora were also very delicious. Can't forget the yummy naan! Between 3 people, we had full meals left over for all of us to take home. Their tasty sweets as an after dinner treat were the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back.

When did the breakfast meals stop? I just got charged for every individual item ordered after u asked for a breakfast meal which I thought included a coffee. They only charged me for one which I ordered two. Do better!

Absolutely outstanding! My husband went in the restaurant to pick up order to take home, he was offered assistance to his car. Who does that anymore. Food might be good, I don't know. Service, none. Three of us stopped in for breakfast (take out) only to be ignored after standing at the order desk for minutes on end. It was as if we were invisible, no acknowledgement from any staff, nothing. Drive thru didn't appear that busy either so we walked out and went to the Timmy's north of town. Customer service tip - acknowledge the customers even if you're busy at the time, it goes along way.

Loved the Chicken flatbread. Could not eat it all. Leftovers were good. 230 st. location. Very good friendly service. Clean

The Flealess Hound is a hidden gem. The owners bought and renovated the historic pub with the idea of turning it into a true gastropub. And they hit it out of the park. An incredible chef that uses quality local ingredients - the meals are as good as you would get in a fancy restaurant costing twice as much.

Be willing to wait for at least 30 mins. I can sit down at any other restaurant inside and receive food faster than this snail. This is the SLOWEST Dairy Queen I have ever been to. Usually only 2 staff members on site during the day, and they share cooking/cashier duties. BAD OWNERS. Even worse... they microwave their burgers just before..... the same person touching beef will make your blizzard without washing hands. Yum. A beef blizzard. Go to get ice cream somewhere else. Don't go here. 💯 0 stars

The store was like an oven when you walked in. I dont know if the AC was down, or not working properly? The staff was friendly, I did a mobile order / pick up for a blizzard. It was great on the first 1/3 but nothing but vanilla ice-cream the rest. I mean add more mix!!!! For what these things cost I expected better.

We went in last night and waited for quite awhile at the counter for someone to take our order. There were 3 staff on, all focused on the drivethru. They saw us standing waiting but not one person acknowledged us. One staff member walked right past us to the freezer behind us and didn't even look at us. Finally I asked if we could place an order. One of the guys came over to take our order, didn't say a thing. I ordered a small blizzard with 2 flavors in it. He said it would be $14.59. I was surprised it was that expensive so I questioned him that he had my order correct and he said yes that was for a small. He was insistant that that was the correct price. We decided to leave and not get the order. When I went online and created a pick up order to see if that price was correct, it should have been $8.48 with the extra flavor added. The service was terrible. We can understand that staff are busy with the drive-thru, but all they needed to do was say "sorry we will be right with you". The inside store customers should matter too.

Why is my burger meat cold, fries and onion rings hot like the surface of the sun, but..... i do watch, the fried goods sat in the heater line yet they are always good and hot. Why's my meat cold? Not even hot enough to melt the cheese. Haven't make a mistake on my order in a while, but 5 min wait for cold meat..... why? Chef Mike?

I ordered a cake for my sons birthday and the staff went above and beyond to ensure the cake was special for him! Everyone I dealt with were friendly and helpful. The cake looked amazing and was one of the best tasting cakes we've had from a DQ! We will definitely be ordering more cakes in the future!

every time i eat here food is cold and wait times are double any other place but today i watched them and they seriously took cold burgers and microwaved them the buns had hard spots the patties had cold spots i don't like spending my hard earned money for a meal that is previously cooked who knows when and microwaved when i order it i don't know if this is how all dairy queens do there food but this is very upsetting and i will not be returning i will stick with other local options that cook there food when its ordered dairy queen this is just lazy and i honestly cant see you lasting long the lady at the till was kind but i put one star for service because you microwaved my food and this to me is horrible service when doing this try serving fresh food and you say you use a booster oven to melt cheese and warm sandwiches but i watched and no one cooked a patty on the grill you can see the grill from the window i was given a cold patties that had been previously cooked then reheated in your so called booster oven aka microwave if i go to burger king i watch them cook my food if i go to a&w you can see them cook the food on the grill and if it wasn't why were there cold spots like cold not luke warm im talking cold also look at your review multiple people have had cold meat so your lying meat doesn't go cold like it has been chilled in a refrigerator unless it has been chilled in a refrigerator

Go here somewhat frequently, never been let down. The wait at times can be a little long but it's worth it the blizzards are always awesome.

Fast and friendly. Pizza was reasonably priced and tasted good. 4x small pizzas for under $30 is a great value. We ordered 2x Peperoni, 1 Cheese and 1 Hawaiian.

Best pizza we’ve had in a long time! Very hot hot, prepared quickly and extremely friendly helpful service. We are visiting Oliver from Vancouver Island and we would make a point of eating here again! Even were given free juice and cupcakes! Excellent all around, highly recommend.

I'd rate this place 100 stars if I could. I moved from Vancouver Island, where there are delicious pizza places all over, and this place blows ALL of them out of the dang water. The staff literally brought out our pizza to the car. Like where do you get that service? Not to mention when taking our order was patient and didn't rush us out because I couldn't decide what i wanted. And the pizza? Omg. So cheap, fresh, delicious. I will NEVER go anywhere else again. First time customer today, and wilk he forever now.

Love Baby Rae's pizza! Always prompt and friendly service, and the pizza is great. Quality ingredients and consistent taste. We've been surprised by free cupcakes and pop on a few occasions and think it's so cool that they do that. You can really tell it's a family run operation and that they strive for continued excellence. We love the spinach and artichoke dip pizza, and the classic pepperoni is our go-to. They also do HUGE walkaway slices if you're in a hurry or need something quick and inexpensive. Must visit if passing through or visiting Oliver and craving a good slice!

What a cool place! Friendly staff. And perfect pizza. I'm definitely a pizza snob having worked in few in my early years and this pizza is exactly what I look for. Lots of toppings but not an absurd amount. The sauce was 'chefs kiss'. The crust was great. Wouldn't change a thing. And oh yeah, the best part - the price!! Cheaper than Domino's for crying out loud! Lol

There isn’t a Pizza place in Oliver or anywhere near Oliver that can even touch Baby Rae’s Pizza . It’s tasty every single time , it’s fresh , it’s all around the best there is I’d go hungry before eating any other pizza in Oliver , the rest are mediocre at best . I guess breakfast is not a popular thing in these parts of Canada, since we could not find a restaurant service breakfast in a radius is 20 miles. So we decided to drive to the nearby wine country, for some 🍷 tasting. But out of nearly a dozen of wineries only 2 were open. But we found a small chic restaurant for lunch. The service was good and the pretty owner (I assume) was very friendly. We ordered the spicy tuna Tatar with a home made wonton cracker and our hosts John and and his brother Neil shared a chicken flat bread. Both dishes were nicely presented and tasted delicious. The only disappointment was the wonton cracker that was so flake that it fell apart and we ended up using a fork to eat the freshly prepared, yummy tuna Tatar

A great spot for drinks and light bites. We shared the charcuterie board and the mortadella & ricotta cheese flatbread — both were enjoyable. Our server, Alley, was excellent — very friendly and attentive. It’s also a great place to sit back and people-watch.

We were here on an extremely hot day in July and the servers worked their butts off! the food was delicious 💖 The white sangria needs peaches or something in it though 👌

The atmosphere is fantastic and so is the service! The servers are incredibly kind and welcoming. The food however is below par. It’s not disgusting but it’s not good. No decent flavour in any of the dishes our group tried (we all said that each dish seemed to be missing something and it all just tasted bland). They really should redo their menu. It’s a shame this is the only place you can get food at the Oliver Wine Village. Hopefully this changes, as I know many people leaving the village early to have lunch/dinner elsewhere.

We had a pretty good experience overall. The entertainment was pretty good. We ordered to cheese tray and it was good. The only thing that I could suggest is adding more crackers to the cheese and meat tray, like almost double it. Mabie add another beer to the selection too, something fruity perhaps...

Loved our experience here. Service was fast. CASS was awesome! Summer soda was sooo good! Prawn cocktail was nothing I've had before! Delicious 😋 homemade veggie burger and the flat bread was great.

We ordered food and drinks from Ward’s Wine Country Kitchen while spending the day at the District Wine Village. The food and drinks were decent, and our server was genuinely great, friendly and attentive. However, the experience was seriously undermined by the attitude of two other staff members who made it very clear they were not welcoming toward families with young children. Their passive-aggressive behavior created an uncomfortable atmosphere and completely clashed with the family-friendly vibe this place advertises online. If you have children under 7, I’d recommend staying away. It’s disappointing when a venue that claims to be kid-friendly allows staff who clearly aren’t comfortable around kids to ruin what should be an enjoyable outing. Hopefully management takes this kind of feedback seriously. The setting has potential, but families deserve to feel welcome too.

Tasty cold beer on a hot day! Nice to sit out on the terrace enjoying the District Wine Village vibe. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Spring salad hit the spot and the burger was good too. Only the Caesar salad was meh.

Very cool place with nice eats and great brews! A lot of people don’t understand that the concept at the wine village is brand new and is a bit different from your average restaurant so please come with that in mind! The charming staff will make up for it anyway.

Going to a wine village is great and all but having a brewery there is even better. The staff at trading post were fantastic. I had a chance to talk with the Jason the brewmaster and his passion and knowledge about beer and brewing is outstanding. It's a great setting with even better beer. If your at the DWV make sure to grab a flight and try Trading post's delicious beers.

We visited the district wine village last weekend for the first time. We placed an order for delivery to us at one of the tasting rooms. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. There was one particular team member from trading post that stood out to us. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name, but he was working so very hard in the courtyard to make sure everything was cleaned and put in its place.

This is a nice reprieve from all the wineries. Don't get me wrong - I love my wine - but I'm a beer girl through and through. The crust on the pizza is 👌👌. Don't be afraid to ask to mix beers! Such a fun spot to visit. A wonderful afternoon, tasting wine, enjoying a very delicious pizza and of course a refreshing craft brew. TP is the perfect eatery to complete this unique wine country experience. Pizza was fresh hot and very tastey, staff efficient and courteous. It's a busy spot!

As someone in the industry who has to deal with a lot of people I was fairly disappointed in the customer service here. I received curt and disrespectful service. I understand that the young kid at the bar may or may not like his job perhaps he should look for something where he doesn’t have to take out his impatience on his guests. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Man I ordered a pizza on a Saturday night and as usual, it was delicious. Sunday morning comes around and I butt dial Murray’s (early, before they even open). These calls called me back and made sure I didn’t have an order. Their delivery people are always super friendly as well. Only pizza place in Oliver I really order from. Good food, top notch staff!

We ordered two pizzas , The veggie and the kitchen sink. Pizza visually looked good and had a lot of toppings. However it had very little taste and was not hot despite the fact we picked it up ourselves. We were surprised at how terrible this was as the google rating was decent and not reflected in the food. 8 people eating and the equivalent of one entire pizza ended up not being eaten and in the trash. We won’t order from here again. Update: Someone from this establishment called me at 8:20 am today. He was unwilling to listen and then accused me of having a problem with his color and that he has had this problem in this community since he took over the business. I don’t appreciate being called a racist by a business, based on my reviewing the poor quality of their food. Shame on them. They should focus on providing good food and service.

Takeout was fast and seamless. Pizza was boxed well and still piping hot after a 15-minute drive. The toppings stayed in place, cheese was perfectly melted, and the crust had that amazing wood-fired texture. Definitely my new go-to for pizza nights at home!"

I’ve been a loyal Freshslice customer and have always enjoyed my orders, which makes my recent experience all the more disappointing. Although the pizza’s flavors and quality were consistent with previous orders, it arrived at a temperature that was less than ideal. Instead of the usual piping-hot delivery, the pizza was served at a noticeably cooler temperature, as if it had been prepared a bit too far in advance. This subtle shift in warmth detracted from what is normally an inviting and freshly made meal. I truly hope this was an isolated incident and that a little extra attention to the delivery process—ensuring that the pizza is dispatched promptly and kept at the right temperature—will bring back the exceptional experience I’ve come to expect from Freshslice.

Aj is so thoughtful, he was happy to help me after a long day of painting he make me dinner even though they had closed 10 Mins before I got there. We are so lucky to have such nice people running a great business in our little town thank you AJ! 😊

Great atmosphere and no loud music. Lots of sports on the TV screens to watch. Waitress was friendly and quick and who can beat $7.99 wings? They were literally the best wings I've ever had.

We had Beers, Nachos, Wings and the cheesecake. Lot of beer options, the restaurant was packed on a Friday. Amazing service despite being busy, Rylee was amazing. Nachos are a must try, cheesecake tastes like a high end restaurant.

We made a quick stop for a beer and ended up having a late lunch. The best Cheeseburger I’ve had in a long time. Made in house. Compliments to the chef and our amazing server Manuela who was vey friendly. We will be back!

Stumbled on this place for breakfast.. Wow! The breakfast skillet was one of the best ever! Chasers were on point too! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Chef Richard and Fresco Bistro are fantastic. The food was flavourful and delicious, the view perfect and the price refreshing . After 2 days of overpriced and oversold mediocre Okanagan service at other wineries and restaurants, it was a very pleasant surprise to get an authentic top notch meal with an amazing view all for an affordable bill. We will for sure be back!
