Park
Kelowna City Park is a waterfront green space offering various amenities such as a swimming beach, playground, and sports fields. The park features over 40 pieces of public art, including vibrant murals and captivating sculptures that showcase the city's story. Visitors can rent boats at locations like The Cove Lakeside Resort or Downtown Marina for a day on the lake. Additionally, there are hiking opportunities at Knox Mountain, Kalamoir Park, and Bear Creek Park with stunning views and picnic spots.
It's an amazing place if You bring lots of money to blow. The beaches are great and lake ave beach was dog friendly and probably one of the nicer ones for dog parents. Perfect for families and couples NOT wanting to leave our beautiful country. Lots of drug addicts and homelessness but that comes with any city these days because of our weak Liberal government

Kelowna City Park is an absolute gem! It's perfectly situated right on the lake, offering beautiful sandy beaches, a great playground for kids, and lots of green space for picnics. The walk along the water is fantastic, and it’s always clean and well-maintained. A perfect place to spend a sunny Okanagan afternoon!

Kelowna is a beautiful city filled with natural charm — there are plenty of parks, beaches, and outdoor activities to enjoy. Whether you’re walking along the lake, relaxing on the beach, or exploring local trails, it’s definitely a place worth visiting. One of the highlights nearby is Knox Mountain. There’s free parking, and you can hike up to the first viewpoint for stunning views of the lake and the city. There’s also a trail leading to Paul’s tomb, which adds a bit of adventure for those who enjoy hiking and exploring nature. Just note: Knox Mountain Park is open seasonally during the summer and usually closes by 8 p.m., so plan your trip accordingly. Another beautiful spot is Bertram Creek Regional Park, located along the lake. It’s a peaceful place for walking, picnicking, or just enjoying the views. It’s clean, quiet, and surrounded by natural beauty — a perfect place to unwind. Overall, Kelowna and the surrounding area offer an amazing mix of lake views, mountain trails, and relaxing parks. Highly recommended for nature lovers and anyone looking for a calm and scenic getaway.

Kelowna City Park is such a beautiful and well-maintained spot! It’s clean, organized, and perfect for both daytime and evening walks. The atmosphere is relaxing, with lots of space to enjoy the views, fresh air, and nature. A great place to spend time with family or just take a peaceful stroll by the lake. Highly recommended!
Jamal D — Google review
Awesome park with a splash pad, kids play structure, skate park, beach and a on the water activity park. Change rooms and washroom are available. The only downside is trying to find a parking spot. Might have to park outside the park and walk.
Dragos N — Google review
Kelowna City Park is such a lovely spot! The park is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing day outdoors. The waterfront views are beautiful, and there are plenty of walking paths, picnic areas, and green spaces to enjoy. Great for families, friends, or just some quiet time in nature. Public beach
Waterfront Park is a charming city park located in Kelowna's city center, offering stunning views of Okanagan Lake and the surrounding landscape. The park features a picturesque boardwalk that stretches along the lake, providing an ideal setting for leisurely strolls and capturing Instagram-worthy moments, especially during autumn when the foliage turns vibrant shades of red and gold. Additionally, visitors can enjoy public art displays, beautifully landscaped gardens, and frequent outdoor performances at the park.
Small sand area, not too crowded. You can walk to the west Kelowna bridge via the harbour and park paths, about 40 minutes without rushing. Many restaurants and play options. The pathway is wide but be careful with bikes and skateboards as it is shared, kids need more attention walking both ways. Well maintained, there is a public water park and a large playground near the bridge, a roller skate area in the middle that converts to ice skating in winter, and a floating paid park in a section of the Okanagan lake. Beautiful natural landscape.

Really beautiful place to hang out. Especially in the warm evenings after dinner. Every time we are out there the waterfront park area is a visit. Really clean, really friendly and just a wonderful place. Highly recommend the area. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a really beautiful place, like a portrait. The roads and walkways are designed beautifully that you can enjoy the nature flawlessly. You can do lots of activities, like walking, biking, boating, etc. Swimming is not allowed in this area, I believe. You will be amazed after visiting this site. Parking is paid and sometimes hard to find a suitable spot.
Ashraful B — Google review
Truly amazing place to explore. Lots of shops on the waterfront. Great places to grab a coffee and enjoy the views. Appears to have lots of entertainment going on. Beautiful flowers and we'll maintained gardens. You can rent water skis and if you feel like some adventure parasailing. Only down side, there is lots of homeless people wondering around. But never felt threaten or was harassed. There was an abundance of wild life to see. If you are in the area totally worth the trip. Grab a great local coffee and and enjoy the views.
Wade F — Google review
The entire waterfront and park area is a great spot to visit. Plenty of green space to enjoy the sun and amazing water view as well. The water near this specific spot near the fountain stinks a little bit since it's probably not circulated or cleaned regularly. Plenty of cheap parking nearby, so that's a plus too.

Beautiful place located on the Okanagan lake and the heart of Kelowna , Beautiful park with great trails. Amazing beaches in a couple locations for picking the right beach for some family fun in the sun. Many spots for picnicing and relaxing

Knox Mountain Park in Kelowna, BC is a scenic destination offering diverse ecosystems and a range of activities such as beach swimming, mountain biking, and disc golf. The park also provides historical trails leading up picturesque hillsides and nature walks along wetlands with various bird species. Visitors can enjoy energetic trail loops that offer stunning views of Okanagan Lake.
Knox mountain park in Kelowna is a great place to take a nice hike, or bike, on a lovely, sunny day in the Okanagan. It’s the areas largest natural park. We would take friends and family here for a stroll in the rolling hill trails, with its switch backs winding up the mountain. It has a quaint, winding, wooden fences and steps to help you get to the top for spectacular views. You can see the city, lake Okanagan and the bridge that divides eastern and western Kelowna. There is also a wooden lookout tower that is a fun spot to take photos from. Take lots of water on a sunny day if you are going in the summer, as Kelowna can be scorching hot at times. A hat and sunglasses are a must! It is a moderate hike that kids can do for lovely views of the Okanagan. Dogs should be on leashes, but there is a dog park here as well. It’s open 6 am to 10 pm.

A great place for hikes and different levels of activity. You can mountain bike, hike straight up to the viewpoint, walk up a paved road or take trails that aren’t as steep. The different viewpoints of the lake and Kelowna are spectacular! Great photo ops!
Raquel M — Google review
Peaceful place for hiking. Walking and Bicycle both Hike are awesome. The view from the top of the mountain is just eye pleasing. It's worth climbing after reaching the till the peak. If take apex trail and then follow the ogopogo trail that's breathtaking experience. There are also washrooms 🚻 in middle of trails and dustbins are available in same way.

A very beautiful hike, good for all skill levels. I am relatively new to hiking and tried the apex trail, it was a bit challenging, and the view at the summit is incredible! Highly recommend anyone living in Kelowna to do this hike.
Cash Q — Google review
Great view. It has an asphalt portion and rest is well kept trails that are suitable for biking and hiking. Good for short or long walks and you can choose the intensity of your walk by choosing different paths
Neisan S — Google review
Wonderful panoramic views! There are two points scenic points for pictures, the first one (below) it's easy to arrive but the second one (up) needs a hike of 30 minutes or bike cause the road for cars is closed. Our hike to the second point of view was really tired since that day was very hot (32 degrees) but worth it because the photos are incredible.
Carla C — Google review
A grind up but very doable and short. The trails down are a ton of fun. The switchbacks can be challenging but overall black diamond. Highly recommend to intermediate bikers looking for a downhill challenge. Lots of other trails to try out and is great to keep attempting the same trails. Never gets old.
David L — Google review
The view point is terrific. The vehicle was allowed till the first view point and after that had to trek to the other view points. The view of Kelowna city is amazing. Would love to visit there once more. Even though it was scorching hot, the breeze near the view points made it very cool. Gates close by 8pm. Would appreciate if the timings are extended during summer as this a very beautiful place to view sunset across the Okanagan Valley.

Kasugai Gardens is a serene and traditional Japanese garden located behind City Hall in Kelowna. It represents the sister-city relationship with Kasugai and offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling downtown area. The garden features pathways, a footbridge, koi fish ponds, stone lanterns, and scenic sitting areas. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of cold-hardy bamboo trees and ornamental bridges while taking a leisurely stroll or finding tranquility on one of the many benches.
Tucked away behind Kelowna City Hall, Kasugai Gardens is a hidden gem that offers a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. This beautifully maintained Japanese-style garden features traditional elements like stone lanterns, pine trees, a tranquil waterfall, and a koi pond . The harmonious blend of nature and design creates a calming atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation and reflection. I was particularly impressed by the meticulous landscaping and the sense of tranquility that envelops you as you stroll through the pathways. It’s an ideal spot for a quiet lunch, meditation, or simply to appreciate the beauty of nature. Admission is free, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy . If you’re in downtown Kelowna and looking for a serene escape, I highly recommend visiting Kasugai Gardens. It’s a testament to the city’s connection with its sister city, Kasugai, Japan, and a beautiful example of cultural harmony.

Nice tiny gardens in the middle of the city. You can bring your lunch and sit in the tranquil area. Good place to take photos.
Victor W — Google review
Beautiful gated Japanese garden, tucked away in downtown, amidst the parking lot on one side, buildings on the other and a bus stop and an intersection right in front. One can reclaim ones sanity from the humdrums of day today life by just being here for a brief five / ten minutes before you go back to your daily business. It’s small but cathartic; has rockery, a bridge over the water, waterfalls ( man made) beautifully flowering plants, shrubs and trees- all tamed and planted in the famous Japanese style. Four stars because the water could be cleaner and more maintained however the set up does not fail to uplift you

A peaceful little oasis right in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect spot to slow down, sit by the pond, watch the koi fish, and just let your mind wander. Quiet, calm, and beautifully maintained — a true hidden gem.

Very small Japanese garden that is well-maintained. We enjoyed our time here but I wouldn’t say it’s a must-see because of its size. Seems like a great place for city employees to relax and have lunch in (it’s behind a city building).

We had a fantastic experience at this winery, and a big part of that was thanks to Travis! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made our tasting experience so enjoyable. He took the time to explain each wine, offered great recommendations, and made us feel truly welcomed. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does, and it really added to the whole atmosphere. Highly recommend visiting, and if you get Travis, you're in great hands!

Great atmosphere. We really enjoyed the wine tasting with the video show, and the woman who served us explained how each wine was made. The wines were delicious – you can’t find them in regular liquor stores. We definitely recommend this winery to everyone. We didn’t leave empty-handed – took home four bottles of different wines. Big thanks to the female consultant at the winery today for her care and attention. We’ll definitely come again!

I discovered one of my favorite wines in all of Canada here — the Grizzly Muscat! Fresh, crisp, with pear and grapefruit notes — absolutely amazing! We were welcomed by Travis, who was outstanding. He gave us the most detailed explanations about each wine, was incredibly friendly, and made our visit one of the best winery experiences in the area. 🙌🏻
Natalya V — Google review
My partner and I had a great, relaxing experience with our wine tasting. We chose to sit in the lounge, which was very comfortable, and not too intimidating! Travis did a great job recommending wines to try, sharing information on the wines we chose, and stayed personable! Suffice to say, I walked out with 4 bottles of wine and a smile on my face.

We attended an event here this past Saturday. Alex Maher was the musician and he put on a fabulous show. Not to mention the area they had the concert was beautifully laid out. Scenic and it was so spectacular watching the sun set behind the stage. We can’t wait to come back! Not to mention the wine was great we really enjoyed the rose!

This winery is an amazing spot to enjoy ice wines with your furry babies! 🐾 Special thanks to Tini, the lovely Taiwanese staff member. She was super friendly, spoke Chinese when needed, and helped us understand the wines better. We had a wonderful time here and especially loved the ice wines, rosé, and Riesling! They also have a great selection of souvenirs like ice wine tea, maple tea, candies, chocolates, and salmon products and more… Perfect for picking up gifts for friends! 🎁

I recently visited Grizzli Winery in Kelowna and had a truly enjoyable experience. From the moment I arrived, the ambiance stood out—elegant yet relaxed, with beautiful architecture and stunning vineyard views. The spacious tasting lounge and the attached Canadian art gallery gave the winery a unique cultural feel that set it apart from others in the area. I opted for a wine tasting and was impressed by the selection, especially their Icewine, which was a standout. The staff (Ted) were welcoming, knowledgeable, and took time to explain each pour without making the experience feel rushed. Will definitely recommend and comback in the future

Joey was absolutely wonderful! He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind, making us feel so welcome. Highly recommend!

El Taquero - Tacos, Tequila & Catering is a vibrant taqueria that serves up Mexican favorites like tacos and tortas, along with catering options. The restaurant takes street-style tacos to the next level with a diverse selection of fillings, including housemade vegan chorizo and Asada Beef Brisket. It's a popular spot known for its excellent and authentic Mexican cuisine, offering good service and pricing.
El Taquero recently catered our wedding. They were absolutely incredible in all aspects. They had an exceptional team during the lead up to the event. On the day of they were extremely organized, personable with our guests, and the food was AMAZING! They managed allergies and took great care with my celiac disease. We are a few weeks out and I still have guests commenting on how delicious the food was! A huge thank you to the whole team! You made our special day that much more special!

My husband and I love going to the restaurant, but also recently got them to cater our wedding. We had the best team onsite and the food was beyond incredible. It was by far the best choice for a wedding. Everything was on time and perfectly laid out. I would host a dinner just to have them cater again.🥰

As a mexican I can say that El Taquero has the best and most authentic Mexican food in Kelowna, I love tacos de Carnitas and quesabirrias 🤤 The carnitas are so well done that I felt in Mexico in a taqueria again, the margaritas are fire too! The desserts are so tasty, my usual order would probably be the carnitas tacos with the esquite🌟 definitely a must try!

Maddy was the absolute best! Was out first time here and she was super welcoming and helpful! Not a fan of the mushroom tacos and the tres leche was leche-less, but otherwise the drinks and rest of the tacos were delicious! will definitely be back!! you can tell by the photo that the drinks were good ;)

No wait time on a weekday evening. Monday margaritas = $2 off We tried the blood orange and the passion fruit margarita both were amazing 11/10. Blood orange was sweet and had a sugar rim, passion fruit had fresh fruit and a tajin rim. It did take awhile to get the drinks but because the food came so quick - we were partway through eating when we got drinks. Ordered chips + pico de gallo. I had tostadas you can choose a different topping for each one or each taco. I tried both flavours of chicken. Also tried a burrito with chicken , it was huge and a little heavy lots of beans and rice came in it. Staff was very friendly.

We ordered the 4 mix and match tacos, quesa birria and horchata. The quesa birria was soo good and very filling. It was cheesy, saucy, flavourful and full of moist meat. I’d say it’s a must order! The horchata was large and such a treat. I like that there is a salsa bar that even has pickles! The staff are lovely too 💕 I will definitely be back if I come to Kelowna again 😊❤️
Anh L — Google review
The salsa bar.. so good. Got the 3 Tacos and a side of chips. The taste was amazing. Definitely the better than your average taco. Was a bit expensive but what restaurant isn't now a days. Skip the fake fast food Mexican and give it a try. I definitely will be back again. New favorite Mexican restaurant in town.

Best Mexican in Kelowna! The tacos are absolutely delicious that burst with incredible flavours, the margaritas are strong and perfectly shaken and the burritos are HUGE! Nestled in the heart of Kelowna at 1187 Sunset Drive, Erica Jane Restaurant is a culinary gem that promises to elevate your dining experience. This highly anticipated establishment showcases an impressive array of dishes, featuring not only exquisite cuts of beef but also a variety of vegetarian and seasonal options. While it may not fit the traditional steakhouse mold, Erica Jane excels in delivering flavors that are simply unforgettable.
Loved the food, service & ambiance. Hubby (a self proclaimed chef) who claims nobody makes a better steak couldn't stop raving about his order of steak & mashed potatoes. I especially loved the chowder. The oysters were nice & creamy. For a $24 margarita I must say that I felt robbed. I'm sorry but I've had way better for a lot lesser. Everything else was spot on including our server 🥰

A lovely restaurant which beautiful views looking out to the mountain. We came for brunch and our server was very attentive. The menu is on the smaller side but covers the essential brunch must-haves! My favourite item was the hash potatoes which were delicious and crispy. The restaurant has a very high-end feel and the bathrooms are the quite the experience! I'd be happy to come back and try their dinner menu!

Made a reservation at Erica Jane for brunch today, restaurant was not busy and with only 1 server and 1 hostess our wait time for food was an overwhelming 45 minutes. Restaurant was not busy for a sunny Sunday brunch spot. Despite our meals tasting delicious, our server seemed unconcerned in our overall experience while dining. She forgot salt and pepper, coffee refills, and 1 order came out incorrect. Restaurant seemed understaffed and for the price, disappointing.

Atmosphere and service were amazing! The food didn’t hit the mark of what I expected, or heard from others. Especially at the price tag of everything. We went earlier in the night expecting the best of the best. The staff and their timing was great!

Anniversary dinner that started strong... then fizzled Came here with my husband to celebrate our 18 year wedding anniversary. The evening started on a high note, our waiter welcomed us with complimentary bubbly, which was a lovely touch. Unfortunately he wasn't very articulate when he said his name, I diso catch it. We shared an appetizer labeled “to share”, but the portion was underwhelming. Heads up: if it hadn’t been marketed that way, we probably would’ve ordered more. The waiter brought bread with the appetizer, but as we were waiting for our mains, he tried to take the last remaining piece. Luckily, my husband stopped him. I ordered the prime rib (medium-rare), exactly how beef should be and my husband had the ribeye, also medium-rare. The food took longer than expected, which was surprising considering the doneness. When the plates finally arrived, my prime rib was spot on and generously portioned. I swapped the mash for extra veg, no issues. My husband’s steak, though? Not even close to medium-rare. First bite was light pink, but the rest was grey. At $80 a steak, that’s unacceptable. We called the waiter over, he acknowledged it was overcooked and apologized. Then came the real letdown: instead of replacing the steak, he brought over a gift card and said the steak had been tossed. No food. No solution. Just me eating while my husband sat there with nothing. By the time we asked for the manager, I had nearly finished my meal, so another wait wasn’t an option. The manager was lovely. She agreed the situation was mishandled, explained they were going through changes in the kitchen, and comped the entire bill. That was the saving grace. Still, what should’ve been a memorable anniversary dinner ended on a sour note. I’m giving 1 star for now, because the recovery effort was there and I believe in second chances, but I'm not sure about this one. Will I return? I don't know.

Really nice upscale atmosphere with lots of windows and natural light. Monday night was happy hour/day with many specials. Steak tartar was well prepared with egg yolk on top and side salad and bread. Fresh Oysters with 3 topping garnishes were tasty. The mussels had a bit of sand but had a zesty sauce. The duck was done perfectly medium rare with a nice glaze. Great selection of local wines. Located downtown across from the arena.

We came here for our one-year anniversary and left very disappointed. The food was slow, overpriced, and honestly very mediocre, something I could easily make at home, with no standout flavors. My husband ordered the filet mignon, which strangely came out cut in half into two pieces, leaving him pretty surprised. Based on the ratings and popularity, we expected so much better. Check out the 6 oysters charged for 26 plus taxes. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype, and my husband ended up apologizing to me at the end of our night.

Again another top notch experience at Erica Jane in Kelowna BC. Situated in the new One water building on Sunset Dr a few minutes walk from the downtown area . From it's architectural design to the large patio folding glass doors to its enormous wine wall asking to be enjoyed 🤙your get the feeling the visit will be enjoyable . We were having a going away celebration for our foreign student and her father who has never been to Canada let alone try some amazing Canadian prime beef and Erica Jane's did not disappoint..some great apples to start evening like their fresh shucked oysters and signature beef tartar leaf way to some pretty amazing grilled steaks . Finished with some famously prepared Tina Tang signature dessert , the evening couldn't have been any better . Be sure to check it out for great times, food and ambience , I'll be back 🤙☘️

Raudz Regional Table is a charming bistro with a rustic brick interior and a communal table, offering a menu focused on locally sourced Pacific Northwest cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on using high-quality ingredients from local farmers, fishermen, and wine producers who are passionate about their craft. Chef Rod Butters is renowned in the valley's food scene and his creations showcase fun, artistic presentation paired with clean flavors. The menu features a diverse selection of unique dishes that highlight the region's offerings.
I am not easy to please at all. This has to be one of the best restaurants I have ever ate at. Our server was knowledgeable and did such an amazing job at describing the plates. We had the Brie appetizer to start, the Arctic Char and Ribeye for our entrees. They brought out a nice birthday dessert at the end. They also make their own delicious lollipops. If you’re looking for a delicious upscale restaurant, this is a must in Kelowna! Thank you for making our dining experience one to remember!

A hidden gem downtown Kelowna! My fiance and I went for our second anniversary and we were completely blown away We were there for about 15 minutes and already talking about coming back. I had steak and she had salmon burger and both were amazing. The steak was perfectly cooked and both plates had delicious crispy veggies. They had tasty mocktails and the service was absolutely perfect. Our server asked if we were there for an occasion, we told her yes our anniversary. After dinner was done we had no room for dessert so we declined the dessert menu. Short thereafter she came out with a wonderful little dessert with "happy anniversary" written in chocolate. Fantastic! Fully recommend!!

My wife and I come here to celebrate our anniversary each year and it never disappoints. The service is extremely wonderful, attentive, that is supported by a unique and vibrant atmosphere. Will always return to celebrate and enjoy the delicious food that always exceeds expectations each time we visit. Thank you for making our anniversary so much more special!

This place lives up to all the hype. This restraunt was recommended by a colleague for my one year wedding anniversary. The food was spectacular. I got their halibut, which is a seasonal dish, and their crab cappuccino to start. My wife got the brisket and chuck burger, as well as the aged focaccia. All the food was absolutely amazing. The only thing that wasn't up to the standard of everything else was that I had mentioned several times it was our 1 year wedding anniversary, and no one had congratulated me or my wife. A 'happy anniversary' from the server would have sufficed. Not that it changes it from a 4 to star, but the little things go a long way. I'd recommend this for a fancy meal. Keep in mind what I ordered, + 2 drinks, was 180 dollars.

We came here for valentines dinner and we had an awesome time! Great atmosphere and services. Everyone was very friendly! The food was really good too. We enjoyed all of it. The steaks were very tender and grilled to perfection. Gnocchi was good as a starter but I think I wouldn’t order it as main. The bread was also a good starter. Overall, we had a good time and will definitely come back!

First time here. Definitely, a more laid back environment than i expected. We tried several dishes - everything had great presentation. The flavouring was a bit hit and miss for me. The sides that came with each entree are often better than the main. Overall 4/5 for the taste of the food. Friendly service.

Update 07/07/23: still one of my favorite restaurants in Kelowna. One of the best restaurants, and my favorite restaurant in Kelowna. Well balanced and unique food, along with a great ambience. Definitely worth in both portion and price. I would highly recommend the pork loin. The BBQ sauce is superb and a perfect accompaniment to the pork loin. And it's topped with the most perfect bacon-wrapped scallop. We also had the seasonal menu main - the sablefish shrimp mousseline. Although super tasty, I found the dish a bit too heavy and rich....and was looking for something acidic to balance the dish. Also the shrimp mousse was a bit meagre...and would have liked to taste a bit more of the mousse. Overall, an amazing restaurant and am looking forward to the next visit!

Raudz is a casual spot that really knows how to impress. I love that they have a monthly rotational menu that keeps things fresh and exciting. It's farm-to-table goodness at its finest. Let's talk about their fruit puree martini. Wow, just wow. It's seriously amazing. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and it's like sipping on a fruity dessert with a delightful boozy twist. Highly recommend giving it a try. But what really sets Raudz apart is their commitment to being green. They've got sustainable practices down pat. From sourcing locally grown ingredients to minimizing waste and using eco-friendly packaging, they're doing their part to take care of the planet. Gotta appreciate that. The vibe at Raudz is cozy and inviting. The staff is friendly and always happy to help. No snooty attitudes here. They make you feel right at home. Now, onto the food. The monthly rotational menu keeps things interesting, and you know you're in for a treat. I recently tried their pan fried halibut with clams and it was comfort heaven. Fresh halibut, local and flavorful veggies, and an amazing sauce—it hit the spot. Came to visit from Vancouver and gotta say, it was worth the visit.

Salt & Brick is a unique concept-driven wine-bar restaurant located in downtown Kelowna. It offers an intimate space with an open kitchen, serving artisanal small plates and shareable fare paired with a wide selection of regional wines. The menu changes daily, featuring innovative dishes crafted with precision and creativity, using atypical ingredients for a memorable flavor experience. The rustic-chic interior provides a warm and welcoming environment for guests to enjoy the culinary offerings.
Delicious food and drinks! We were seated outside which I think helped because the live music was amazing. The cocktails were well done, and the portions were generous, we even had leftovers. We were a tad bummed out that they ran out of lobster dip, but the brussel sprouts blew us away. We did feel as if we couldn’t tell the grapes were pickled, though. Overall, amazing experience and we would love to go again!

Looking for Food Network places to visit in Kelowna during a recent visit and found this little gem that was visited by the Big Food Bucket List crew. The atmosphere is very cozy and full of heritage. Service was positive and friendly 💕 with a visit by the chef to the table 😁 The menu is small and changed daily, keeps it fresh. My Chorizo Rigatoni was very well thought out and presented, full of great flavors and textures! 😋 The pasta was perfectly done and I had no problem eating the whole plate, except I like to take some for my daughter to try 😅 Our only critique was that it was perhaps on the salty side which masked some of the other great flavors. Being diabetic, I am also overly sensitive to salt, but I like to experience things first hand then mitigate dietary restrictions on subsequent visits, np. 😉 The Chocolate Brownie & Strawberry Sorbet dessert was excellent, good presentation, perfect portion for me, with more great simple textures. Only mildly disappointed that the delicious brownie wasn't made in-house, but the awesome in-house sorbet was a winner for a big strawberry fan! 🍓 Highly recommend this place, worth another visit next time I'm in town and close to one of Kelowna's iconic shorelines for some fresh air for thoughtful reflection 🤔

Delicious! Every bite was a revelation! Chanterelles on toast - yum! Chicken drumsticks with a jerk like glaze - yum! The cucumber and apple salad with black sesame dressing - super yum! Our server was treated us like we were good friends visiting his own dining room.

Small plates. Had three: Kobe beef dumplings, shrimp. And Lyonnais potatoes. The dumplings were well seasoned and very tasty. The shrimp dish included a tasty sauce, crispy bread great for dunking and cut tomatoes and onions. A tasty combination. The Lyonnais potatoes were good. We had glasses of Liquidity rose and merlot, which paired well with the dishes. When we arrived we were informed this was the last night and the restaurant was closing. That's too bad for all the staff involved, but they were going out with a bang - a full house made up it seemed mostly of patrons, and us visitors from Ontario. Everybody was in high spirits celebrating the restaurant.

I absolutely loved this experience! The service was warm and welcoming, creating a lovely atmosphere. The romantic location right by the pier added to the charm. The mixologist truly excelled with the drinks, and the food was incredible—especially the fennel. Chef’s kiss! 😘

Can't speak to the food only because after two July visits, we have only had cocktails. What I will say emphatically is that the drinks were outstanding and the service, especially from their bartender, was incredible!! He was so welcoming and made some great recommendations!! He even remembered us when we came back the second time, weeks later! Loved both visits... charming little place with a cool vibe, great cocktails and superb service!!

The restaurant staff were friendly and the place had a great ambience. The open kitchen was fun to watch and I will definitely visit again on a date or girl's night. Interesting selections on the menu. Most dishes we tried were excellent. Fresh and well-balanced. The only dish that didn't meet my expectation was the roasted veggie. Also the tempura batter on the beef was kind of thick.

Quails' Gate Winery in West Kelowna offers tours, tastings, and lakefront accommodations along with a Pacific Northwest restaurant called Old Vines. The restaurant is renowned for its use of the freshest local ingredients, serving up new seasonal specialties regularly. Guests can also enjoy the popular long table dinners on Wednesdays throughout the summer, featuring a four-course dinner paired with Quails' Gate wines amidst the vineyard.
Leanne was our host, and she was absolutely incredible. So knowledgeable and generous, and was able to answer any question and provide info beyond a standard script. The facility is beautiful and runs like a well-oiled machine. We did the Stewart family reserve tasting, and everything was very special. We'll definitely be back and would love to do the sparkling tasting in the future.

What a wonderful meal and location. We had three courses and a wonderful bottle of wine. We sat outside and were at first worried it would be a bit cold but the heaters were perfect and we were offered blankets also but didn’t need these! View was such a wonderful bonus and music and atmosphere was great. Food was absolutely amazing and our waitress Paige was just wonderful, she was so kind, friendly and attentive, making some wonderful choices/recommendations for us on the wine and dessert. We spoke at the table about how lovely she was! Thank you Paige and Quails gate for a fantastic evening!

We’re members and we came in for a tasting, yesterday. The tasting was lead by Amelia, and she was as outstanding! She had a bubbly and welcoming personality, she was super knowledgeable on her tasting notes and pairings and just delivered an all-in-all exceptional experience. Probably our favourite tasting we’ve had here yet. She also helped me find my new favourite red at the winery, the Queue!

We came from Ontario and had the most amazing wine tasting at Quails’ Gate! The views were stunning and the wines incredible — but Tory made the whole experience unforgettable. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. If you visit, ask for Tory — she’s an absolute gem!

I was on a road trip with my small dog, so I deliberately sought out this winery because I heard here is dog-friendly. I was so pleased that I was allowed to hold my dog while doing a tasting and purchasing wine. I had been informed that dogs needed to be held while inside the building, so I was prepared with a cross-body dog carrier bag, which made it perfectly manageable. The staff member who guided us through the tasting was incredibly friendly and professional. Their kindness was a wonderful bonus. I would love to visit again next time I'm not the designated driver!

Quails' Gate Restaurant was an absolutely fantastic experience with incredible food. We went for dinner one evening and returned for lunch another day, both meals were outstanding. The duck, in particular, was unbelievably flavorful and cooked to perfection. Everything we tried from the happy hour lunch menu was also delicious, the salad and beef tartare were personal favorites. The setting and location are also stunning. We’ll definitely be back in the future :)

Mission Hill Family Estate Winery is a leading winery in the Okanagan Valley, known for its modern buildings, amphitheater, and locavore restaurant. The estate was established in 1981 on Mount Bushiri and gained recognition after winning an award for the best chardonnay at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 1994. With its European architecture and a 12-story bell tower, the West Kelowna estate offers stunning views of Okanagan Lake and exceptional wines.
This is not your usual stop on a winery tour. This truly stunning spot requires hours to explore and appreciate. We opted to dine in the restaurant for the three course chef tasting menu with the reserve wine pairing, as well as a regular pairing. The meal offerings changes seasonally with what’s fresh, and I can truly say the chefs and servers are at the top of their game. This was a $350 bill before tip, and it was worth every penny, nearly three hours of dining, wining in the most beautiful place you can imagine… it’s a luxury experience we felt was worth every penny. You won’t want it to end. The only critique I could possibly find is we stopped passed the wine shop and tasting room before our reservation, and the sales person was quite pushy to get us out the door, as they closed in 20 minutes. A bit of a sour start to the evening, but the meal more than made up for it. A couple things to expect: parking is ample, the grounds are glorious so take your time to explore and take pictures before your meal, there are affordable and expensive bottles (so something for everyone), but maybe skip the gift shop if you have no interest in overpriced, kitschy items and $2000 luggage (I get this is a luxury place, but come on), you WILL need a reservation and you WILL need to put down a credit card to do so, it books up fast but we were able to get a table for the next day. 10/10 experience, will be raving about it to anyone who asks how my summer was. Cheers!

Econic winery high on a West Kelowna hillside. Like it's name, it's as though you are entering a missionary. A tall bell tower rings for 5 minutes at noon, and shorter periods every fifteen minutes. To the right as you enter is the wine and gift shop. It has rooms for dedicated tastings, where we had a tasting with hor d'oeuvres, cumulating with a tasting of the iconic Occulus - which received a 100 point rating, and consistent ratings in the mid-90s. The tasting included Sauvignon Blanc, rose, merlot from the Terroir Collection, and Quatrain from the Legacy collection. Our favorite was the merlot - with distinctive merlot on the nose and taste. Our guide Mia was very friendly and informative. The shop had things you don't expect to see in a wine shop - luggage priced at $25 k, a book about Milan,... You get the idea. Classy...More for show. To the left on entering is the restaurant. All the tables in the restaurant have a lake view. We had a wonderful lunch (See the review). The grounds have a number of statues. Lending to the elevated experience. BTW Mission Hills was selected Winery by NWAC, the 7th time in the 25 year history of the awards. sected

My husband , my sister and I all had such a beautiful experience at Mission Hill. From start to finish our server named Guy led with such class and poise! Very knowledgeable, friendly and polite service. Simon also popped in whenever he passed our table, topped up waters and overall we had a great conversation and vibe with both of them. We wish them both all the best in their future plans. The Mission Hill property is in top knotch shape and very picturesque. Looking forward to future visits here!

We had an amazing time at the guided tasting tour! Simon gave us a fascinating tour of the winery, showing us the bell tower and the wine cellar, and we even got lucky enough to spot a little deer along the way. Kiran and another lovely staff member led our tasting session. Kiran was especially wonderful, patiently answering all of our questions—some of which were quite out-of-the-box—about red and white wines. As people who aren’t very familiar with wine, we gained so much enjoyment and interest from their explanations. Both Simon and Kiran were extremely well-mannered, friendly, and welcoming. Their passion and professionalism truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at Mission Hill thanks to Simon. He was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, answering every question we had about the wines with clarity and enthusiasm. He explained everything in such an engaging way that made us feel comfortable and excited about our choices. His warm approach and genuine hospitality made the whole visit smooth, pleasant, and truly enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make us feel happy and valued, and it really elevated our experience at the winery. Thank you Simon!

We had a truly wonderful experience at Mission Hill. The wine pairings and charcuterie board were excellent, but what made it truly memorable was the storytelling and guidance throughout. Having visited many wineries, this one felt extra special. A key highlight was Robbie H. His expertise as a sommelier, eloquence, calm confidence, and ability to narrate the Mission Hill story elevated the entire experience. His objectivity and professionalism make him an incredible asset to the team. We were so impressed that we decided to join the club membership on the spot. Mission Hill’s rich history is inspiring, and we’re excited to be part of its future. ❤️

The Hatch in West Kelowna offers a unique and creative wine tasting experience with quirky packaging and beautiful wines including reds, whites, bubbles, and roses. The winery features cool labels with sketches by Canadian artist Paul Morstad. Visitors can enjoy tastings and explore the gift shop while being accommodated by the friendly staff. Additionally, guests can indulge in casual fare at Central Kitchen and Bar or experience a unique Western saloon atmosphere at The Hatching Post on the West Side.
After a full day of wine touring why not hit up another one! That mentality lead us here yesterday. Smaller tasting room with only 2 staff on but such a fun atmosphere and great artwork. They were running around but still made the time to explain the wines and served our large group. Definitely worth stopping in if you like low key vibes. We carried out many wine bottles too because it was delicious! Thank you!

We visited last weekend, with our family who were visiting from the UK. Despite it being busy and no tables available when we initially arrived we had a great experience. We were given complimentary bubbles due to our short wait for a table and once seated, Patrick took care of us incredibly. He was super friendly and engaging, and his knowledge of the wines really shone through, but all the staff around were welcoming and seemed fab. The mist to cool everywhere down on the hot day was a bonus… huge thank you to Patrick, we are excited to visit again soon!

Volcanic Hills Estate Winery is a small, family-owned winery that produces innovative and delicious wines. The wine selection is wide and includes both red and white wines.
Sue was so pleasant and amazing with her pours. Also accommodated my group’s request to complete the tasting quickly. The place was not too busy when we came in and got to sit down at a table, unlike some wineries where you have to stand at the bar. We did see a couple big groups walk in near the end, likely some bachelorette parties. My sweet tooth friends completely adored the ice wine flight and the chocolates ! Prices of the bottles are also superior than most places. There’s an Italian restaurant that we didn’t check out but will probably go next time we are here. We left this place totally satisfied and wanting to come back another time! Thank you for a wonderful time.

This winery place was amazing for customer service and everything! It was my very first wine testing and had a great time with friendly hosting, even at the entrance. We didn’t book for the tasting but you can just go there and seat any table you like and then one of the staff will bring the menu. Nice place to take a wonderful pics as well! Especially the staff who served us was so amazing I cannot give him compliments enough:) He was the best staff for everything! Tbh, compering to the Frind winery testing (which is no seating and rushed) Volcanic Hills offers seats and relaxing time with same price which only $10 per person.(Also the portion is twice than Frind) I recommend reserve tasting and the first one bubbly was the best. Overall, if you are beginners for wine tasting start with Volcanic Hills 👍🏻 You’ll be surprised by their amazing service:))

My wife and I came to Volcanic Hills on our honeymoon, and we picked a good place to come do wine tasting! It was a great experience! Brenda was amazing! She made the experience great. She was really sweet, and she gave my wife and I some good wines to try. We purchased the best wine which we tried last. Brenda recommended it. We really appreciate the comfort she gave and information on all the wines we tried with her. 10/10 would highly recommend! Thank you Brenda and the staff! We will be coming back soon!

Spent time with great friends at Volcanic Hills Estate Winery yesterday afternoon and I have to tell you - we were treated like VIPs!! Originally we were going to do some sabering in the vines for my birthday, but the weather was drizzly, so Amit and the team out-did themselves to make it a special day! Troy and I had done the charcuterie experience for our anniversary last year in August, but it’s out of season for them now - they made it happen anyway!!!!! Wow!! Each time we go to Volcanic Hills we feel so welcomed and their tastings have been completely elevated over the years. The tasting room has been updated with beautiful seating areas. The staff are all incredible, the wine is fantastic, but the way they make us feel - that’s what keeps us going back! If you live in the Okanagan and haven’t been to Volcanic (or it’s been a while) - plan to make the visit to this local family winery! -tell them Jenn sent you!

Months before we arrived I booked a reservation for 2 for a tasting and charcuterie board. The wine tasting “tower” was amazing as was the charcuterie board. We enjoyed a lovely visit, however we were a bit disappointed to be seated on a side patio without any view. I wish it was made clear while booking that this option did not have any views nor apparently associated with the restaurant/views advertised on the website.

Myself and some friends came here as part of a wine tour and I’ve got to say this is the only winery of the entire day that everyone liked every single wine we tasted. Having said that, the really impressive thing about this winery was how friendly the staff were, especially Diane, who was incredibly nice to chat to and very happy to answer all of our questions with a smile and gave us fresh glasses with each pour.

This is a fantastic winery. We went to a couple of others but this is the one we would recommend our friends to visit. A lovely Chardonnay sparkling wine and top notch single varietal Cabernet Franc and also the Merlot. I also loved the blend- possibly called eruption which I had previously had in a restaurant previously, and was the reason we went there in the first place. Excellent!

If you're on the hunt for a delightful winery experience in West Kelowna, look no further than Little Straw Vineyards Family Estate Winery. Established in 1996 by the Slamka family, this charming winery has roots dating back to 1969 when they first planted their vineyard. Over the years, it has blossomed into a beloved destination known for its exceptional wines and warm hospitality.
We had this winery on our list to visit three weeks ago but didn't get the chance. This trip, it was our priority to go first thing, and wow, what a fantastic decision! The location is great, with beautiful views of the lake and the vineyard. The atmosphere is nice, the wine selection caters to everyone, and the staff, Jennifer and Keith, were outstanding. They were so kind, personable, knowledgeable, and truly entertaining. With my own 25+ years in the service industry, their genuine sincerity was clear. Of all the wineries and distilleries we've visited in BC, this tasting experience was a highlight. It's definitely another reason to plan a return trip to Kelowna soon. Thanks so much, and we're looking forward to seeing you again when we pick up our next wine club order instead of ordering online.

Such a gem of a family-owned winery! Everyone here is incredibly friendly and welcoming — you can really feel the personal touch in everything they do. Jennifer greeted us today (May 12) and shared so much valuable information about the winery, which made the visit even more special. Their white wine, Tapestry, is hands-down the best I’ve ever tasted — and I’ve been to a lot of wineries between Oliver and Kelowna! The location is stunning, with amazing views of the surrounding vineyards, the mountains, and Okanagan Lake. It’s seriously the perfect spot to relax with a glass in hand. I’ll be stopping by every time I pass through — the wine is top quality and such great value for the price!

Keith was very welcoming as soon as we came in, we sat down for a tasting and he explained the tour. Outside we had more wine while getting the history of the vineyard, and their plans going forward. He told us about the different grapes/vines and how they were farmed. Then we went inside to see the back of the house area. They do plan to open a restaurant which sounds like it will be great. They provided cheeses and snacks for pairings. The wines we tasted were all wonderful and they were not cheap at all with their serving sizes. Anything we wanted to try was made available. I’m not a white wine drinker usually and I left with 2 bottles of white and an ice wine. Keith even recommended some dinner places for us as well. Overall great experience, would recommend - Thank you :)

We recently visited "A Little Straw" organic winery in West Kelowna, perched on top of a hill with stunning views of the lake. The experience was unforgettable as we tasted a variety of wines, including one made from the oldest organic grapes in North America, 57 years old! The wine's rich taste was a real treat, and the Keth - his expertise made our tasting session even more enjoyable. Plus, knowing that it's an organic winery made the experience even more special. We truly loved it!

Great experience. Simran was a pleasure to chat with, very informed and did a wonderful job telling us about the wine and history. We loved the tapestry wine and purchased a couple bottles. This is a family owned and run business. Everyone was so helpful. The winery also has a lovely view to enjoy while you sip.

We were searching for a place to get some good old fashioned "Wine Therapy" where "Sip Happens" and the Food is beyond Heavenly. We found it at the Little Straw Winery, the Tula Restaurant. Stepping into the beautifully, welcoming, bursting of intense flavours, aromatic, sophisticated and distinctiveness of Indian Food, was the therapy our mind and soul needed. As an abstract visual artist (wine), the little straw winery just got me hooked with their energetic, radiant and sunny palette. From the server Abhi, to the chef and owner of the restaurant it was a culinary organic innovative experience. Abhi was charming, meticulous, attentive, focused, knowledgable with a witty sense of humor, a gem for a server. The dishes we ordered were ambrosial, divine and so appealing, fresh tasting, we were tempted to lick our plates. The pictures will confirm my words. The Tula Restaurant also offers a non-alcoholic Wine, a Rose, another unique feature. Walking away with "soul-charged" feelings while shaking hands with the owner of the winery, Karnail Sidhu. Thank you for an amazing one of a kind experience.

Excellent wines and excellent service! Super friendly staff and owner! Great experience! We are visiting Kelowna from Ottawa. Thank you for showing us and telling lots of stories about the wines. You made my first wine tasting experience unforgettable! We will come back and we will spread the word in Ottawa to come and visit Little Straw. Thank you Keith, Kiran and Simran!

Okanagan Lake is a picturesque destination surrounded by vineyards and orchards, making it a popular spot for boating and swimming. The area is also known for its romantic restaurants, with several eateries in Kelowna and West Kelowna making the list of Canada's most romantic restaurants. Additionally, the lake has historical significance, as it was used to transport windows from Ontario to Westbank United Church in 1938.
Wonderful lake. I swam at almost all of the coves/bays last summer. This summer I will be there, too.

Okanagan Lake, in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, is a long, deep freshwater lake stretching about 135 km between Penticton and Vernon. It’s a hub for recreation, offering swimming, boating, wineries along its shores, and scenic beaches in Kelowna and surrounding communities. The lake is also steeped in legend, said to be home to “Ogopogo,” a mythical lake creature that has become a local cultural icon.

Honestly speaking, Kelowna has nothing to offer, specifically during the time we went " September end". Price are hiked at hotels but did not give me value for money. Driving along the lake was good feeling, but wont be fun for othera

Very big and beautiful with lots of sandy beaches, lots of beautiful access. If you're into boats, many boat rental places available near by to get on to the lake. We rented an airbnb near the lake and it was wonderful. Very clean, the water looks very beautiful.

CNR Wharf and Gellatly Recreation Corridor is a popular destination in West Kelowna, British Columbia. The area features a recently rebuilt swimming docks, water zipline, diving platforms, and wooden pier that attract both locals and tourists looking to cool off in the lake. The waterfront promenade offers benches and picnic tables for visitors to rest while enjoying the scenic views.
A perfect tranquil setting mere seconds from the city center though seemingly miles away. With gorgeous walking paths along the water, the old ferry docks to jump off of and cool down, the west kelowna yahatclub or the cove resort and restaurant all within a short desirable walk. The views will steal your breath as they stretch from downtown kelowna to past peachland. 10/10

Nothing like jumping into the cool lake after a long hot day! The old ferry dock structure provides a very nice atmosphere for playtime on the water, including a rope swing and lots of space and platforms to jump or dive off of. There is a small beach accessible and places to sit with friends and family, maybe to have a picnic or to take the dog to cool off. There's not a lot of parking in the lot but you can always park on the roadside and walk down. Wheelchair parking and accessible too!
Cerena H — Google review
Calm n peaceful, good place to be if one wants to just sit on the bench and enjoy the weather n serenity or if one wants to walk on the beach. Not much of parking space and reversing on the main road could be slightly challenging.

This is our families favorite place to go when the Okanagan starts to get hot. I went there today because my late oldest son just loved being there in the summer to swim and jump off of the docks and skip rocks.

Great swimming area with docks to jump off and different levels of diving boards. Not the most luxurious sandy beach, but the dock and water makes up for that.

This place is seriously a must visit for anyone who lives in Kelowna. Awesome place to go to for casual walks. Also great in the summer especially for people who want to swim out in the Okanagan Lake. This park is great for families and for anyone with pets. Old Vines Restaurant @ Quails' Gate Winery offers a contemporary Pacific Northwest dining experience with panoramic views of the vineyard. The restaurant prides itself on ethical farm-to-table dining, serving specially-paired vintage wines and seasonal vegetables grown on-site. They also prioritize sustainability by sourcing seafood from responsible suppliers. Dining at Old Vines provides a unique opportunity to appreciate the connection between food and its origins in a beautiful setting.
Celebrated my birthday at Old Vines Restaurant at Quails’ Gate Winery, and it was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the views over the vineyard and Okanagan Lake set the tone—absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The food was incredible. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor—we especially loved the duck, the fresh local produce, and of course, the wine pairings. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. What made the night even more special was the service. The staff were attentive, kind, and made me feel genuinely celebrated, even bringing out a surprise birthday dessert. Whether you're a local or visiting the Okanagan, Old Vines is the perfect place for a special occasion. Great wine, amazing food, and one of the most beautiful dining settings anywhere.
Justin K — Google review
The restaurant at Quails Gate is set in a beautiful setting with amazing views. Service was very friendly, although there may have been a lack of communication from the host to the server, as no one came to greet/take our order for a long time.. until one server found us and looked shocked that no one came to help us after being seated. Our waiter was awesome though.
Christine — Google review
The restaurant located on the winery is exquisite. One can eat indoors or on a deck outdoors with fire pits to stay warm in the cooler fall days. We opted for indoors. The restaurant has a wall of windows looking out over the vineyard or beyond. The menu has suggested pairings with each item - which we went with, and the pairings worked very well. The octopus appetizer was beautiful and delicious, positioned atop a red pepper with fried chickpeas humus. The mushroom risotto was very tasty, although not so taken with the accompanying picked mushrooms. The saffron apple and burrita appetizer sounded nice, but was a little disappointing in terms of presentation, and had no wow. The tuna tataki with aeoli sauce, Japanese vegetable salad was tasty - a highlight was crispy, crunchy sushi rice. The service was professional throughout.

Old Vines never disappoints! This is our favourite restaurant in the whole valley. The food, the wine, the views...all outstanding! We were very fortunate to get the corner table last night, thanks to a good friend!

We visited the restaurant and the food was a wonderful surprise. The risotto was amazing, the steak was delicious, and the winery itself is beautiful. I definitely recommend it! Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy that day, and even though we had a reservation, our table didn’t have a view.

Excellent long lunch here last week - very good food & lovely relaxed atmosphere sitting outside. Only slight negative is sometimes the wine pairings took a while to arrive with each course so we were nearly finished with our meal before we got to try the wine paired with each course, but it was all good.

"Outrageously" haute cuisine. A special dinner celebration for a starving palate. From appetizers to desserts, this place exceeded our expectations. Heavenly, fresh, gourmandizing, flavorful, savory, exquisite and mouth-watering food. I felt like I was back home in Europe walking down memory lane. Instead we were minutes away from home, yet in a place where the surroundings made one feel like you just stepped into Paradise. The ambiance was warm cozy and unwinding from a long day was instant. Our dishes were vibrant, creatively presented, bursting of freshness with unique flavors, simply a delight for any gourmet food enthusiast. Our server Frederic was very attentive without being overbearing. This was more than just a meal and evening out for dinner, it was an elegant memorable experience.

Blu Saffron Bistro is a great restaurant with delicious food and a beautiful patio. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The menu has a variety of different choices, making it perfect for anyone. If you're looking for a great meal in a comfortable atmosphere, Blu Saffron Bistro is definitely the place to go.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Every time time I go here it’s a 10/10, and last night was no exception! Absolutely delicious, especially the features of the day: bannock with herbed cream sauce and penne pasta in a paprika cream and Parmesan sauce!

What a great choice. Great patio view and fantastic food. Our party opted not to dine at other wineries due to their price and availability. We were able to comfortably eat here and relax before continuing on our day. Although BluSaffron is not the most luxurious restaurant on the block, I would say its still the best.
Rick L — Google review
The view from the patio is gorgeous. Highly recommend the Blu Saffron Bistro. The place across the street has very limited parking, so their loss, but there was plenty here. Service was excellent, the pulled pork tacos were amazing (get the extra 3rd one for $5), and the chicken pappardelle was to die for. Don't forget to hit the wine shop too. Going back for sure.

Beautiful location! The atmosphere outside would be beautiful! Which is why I gave this restaurant a 3 star as they refused to seat us outside disputes it being dry! I understand it would be inconvenient to have one guest sitting outside and the rest inside however there was about 3 people there so they weren’t packed or anything.. she mentioned a weather warning when I asked however on the phone she simply said they weren’t seating because it was wet! (Which it has dried already) The food was delicious! The Baked brie was amazing and I wasn’t a fan of the seared tuna because too many flavours however my husband enjoyed both that and the steak however the steak had quite a bit of fat maybe they leave it on for flavour but the 10oz steak was more so 7. Would definitely visit again despite the little things though because the ambience was fantastic!

Very good service and delicious food. Had their specials, pork chop and lamb shank, both were very good. They also got a great view on the patio. The entrance is hard to find, on the right side on volcanic hills winery near the back.

Loved the food—great taste, filling, and not too expensive. The server was also very friendly and attentive. Great spot to grab lunch!

Stopped for a quick bite after a wine tasting. Ordered the truffle Parmesan fries and did a build your own Charcuterie Board with aged cheddar, Gouda, Mediterranean olives, chorizo and baguette slices. Truffle Parmesan fries were very tasty, came with some kind of a mustard to dip them in. Cheeses were good, only complaint is that the baguette slices were cut on and angle and were extremely big for being part of a charcuterie (only got 3 slices). We cut them up, which took away some of the class.

Our 2nd visit to this bistro. Nice views and atmoshere. Friendly staff and service and great food on the patio today. The umbrellas were not out so it was a little hot and very bright without some shelter.

If you're looking for a unique dining experience in Kelowna, The Hatching Post Brewery & Smokery is a must-visit. This establishment captures the essence of a Wild West saloon while serving up mouthwatering southern-style BBQ and an impressive selection of handcrafted beers. Guests rave about the prompt service and generous portions, making it perfect for sharing with friends or family.
This is going to be a long one! 😀 I ordered a flight a beers and loved 3 out of 4 of them. But my favourite was parlour tricks. Now the star of the review, the food. It was delicious!!! I simply loved the brisket and ribs. well seasoned and perfectly smoked meat. Anyone who has been here, please tell me a place in Vancouver that smokes meat like this place. And their bbq sauce was also tasty, it had a slight spicy kick. I loved it. I loved their corn bread too with maple butter. The service was good too. My guess about the bad reviews about service is that a lot of people turn up here during weekends escpeixaly since it's close to quails gate winery. And it's difficult to keep up with a huge crowd.
Dinesh S — Google review
The brisket was really good. The ribs were great also. The sides were just average sides. The potato salad was nothing special, tasted like Costco with seasoning. The mac and cheese was just average, luckily there was some brisket on top. The cheesecake tasted like a slice from a grocery store. The service was super slow and the waitresses didn’t really care to talk or explain anything. They also didn’t seem to be very happy. The menu compared with The Keg prices but the service is similar to Red Robin. It kinda wrecks the whole vibe. No free refills was a sticker shock, on a hot summer day drinking cola with your meal can add up. I had 3 refills, at $5 a drink it turned into a $20 bill to drink some Coca Cola. I wish the restaurant made it obvious that pop soda refills aren’t free. Overall, for the price, the building is cool to check out, but quite a disappointment.

Checked out The Hatchington Post in Kelowna and really enjoyed it! The beers were solid and only $6.50 during happy hour, which was a nice bonus. We went on Wing Wednesday — $12 for about 6 wings — but honestly, the rest of the food stood out more. The medium brisket (5–6 pieces) and medium pulled pork were both flavorful and, with the sides, plenty to share between two people. The mac n’ cheese came out as a surprisingly big portion and the roasted corn arugula salad was a fresh balance to all the BBQ. Service was friendly, the place had a fun, lively vibe, and I loved the unique setup with tables that feel like you’re at a kitchen table. There was live music, which added to the atmosphere. It was a bit stuffy space-wise, but still worked fine. Definitely seems like a popular spot worth checking out if you’re into BBQ, beer, and a good vibe.

Wow!! A spur the moment change to our dinner plans led to us eating here tonight and was it ever amazing!! The brisket and pulled pork were amazing, and the potato salad was delicious. Our server was fantastic and the patio was a nice spot to be with the misters going. The parking lot was full so we found parking elsewhere and weren’t sure if we were OK to leave the car there. Once seated I saw a sign overflow available across the street (in the gravel section) which is great. 5 stars

Hands down the best paid-for BBQ I’ve ever had. The ribs were perfectly smoked and everything was packed with flavour. I was totally vibing with the tunes and the laid-back atmosphere—it gave the whole experience a fun, down-home feel. Service was a bit mediocre, but honestly, the food and vibe more than made up for it. I even grabbed a shirt to commemorate the experience—it was that good. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

The Frind Estate Winery is a waterfront winery with beach access in West Kelowna. It is home to a gorgeous fire pit, and their winemaker hails from Summerhill Pyramid Winery. There are three wine tastings available: an introductory wine tasting for first time visitors, a family-style dinner wine tasting, and an advanced wine tasting for more experienced drinkers.
I had such a wonderful time at Frind Winery in Kelowna! The location alone makes it worth visiting — it’s right on the lake, and sitting out on the patio with a glass of wine while looking at the water felt absolutely perfect. The staff made the experience even better. They were friendly, welcoming, and really took the time to explain the wines without making it feel rushed or overly formal. I learned a lot but also felt relaxed, which is exactly how a tasting should be. The wines themselves were excellent. I especially enjoyed the crisp whites, but honestly everything I tried was smooth and well-balanced. You can really tell there’s a lot of care put into each bottle. We also ordered food, and it paired beautifully with the wines. Having lunch with that view was one of the highlights of my trip to Kelowna.

Been wanting to boat down from Vernon for quite a while. It is FANTASTIC to have a lakeside winery with a dock for your boat. Fun way to spend an afternoon. We enjoyed lunch under shade, wood fired prosciutto pizza and the salmon bowl along with a glass of rose wine , very nice. Coffee shop with pastry ice cream assorted drinks and a great burnt toffee cookie!! Large lawn area with picnic tables for take out and patio with table service. Beach to lounge on with a few cabanas. Live music some evenings will be back to enjoy. Busy wine tasting room all areas service was well done. Only reason its not a five star review, the interior split air conditioning units were pretty dirty and some cobwebs in the corners..... guess I had too much time to look around

Had a great time at the Frind Estate Winery, came across the place while looking for wine tasting. No prior reservations are required and you could walk, cost $10 per person. Tasted some amazing wines, first time trying a delicious dessert wine. The bartender was absolutely cool, very knowledgeable and did an excellent explanation how the taste is made. Frind wine has some good tasting wine.

Visiting from Australia, we were delighted to be able to take in a lovely lunch at this special winery. We took the liberty of trying a 3 Meat Pizza which was so fresh and tasty. The atmosphere in the outdoor area was delightful in the sun and the outlook over the lake making it all that much more special. Chelsea, our waiter was delightful and made us feel so welcome and she could not do enough for us during our stay. Highly recommended in comparison to other winery cellar doors we visited. Ok…let me start with the fact that my family and I had a great time at Frind a few days ago! I always wanted to go there but I am not sure what prevented it these past years lol Anyway, this is such an amazing winery! It's probably the only one with various shops and offerings—a coffee shop, a cocktail place, a takeout pizzeria, and a restaurant! The only downside was the long wait for takeout pizza to sit on the lakeside, which is understandable based on how popular the winery is! Oh and the pizza 🤤 they were AMAZINGLY delicious! We loved the three meats the best! On top of it all, the family-friendly atmosphere made it entertaining for my LO to play and be free while we enjoyed wine and pizza… Secure a few hours and go enjoy a great day at the beach! 🍕🍷🌊

I had the most wonderful experience at this winery! The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the tasting both fun and educational. Helene was the one who did our tasting and she was amazing , definitely made the experience phenomenal ! The wines were exceptional—beautifully balanced and full of character, with something to please every palate. The atmosphere was stunning, with gorgeous views that made the whole visit feel special and relaxing. You can tell how much care and passion goes into every bottle. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this winery to anyone looking for an unforgettable wine experience!

Boyce-Gyro Beach Park, also known as Gyro Beach by locals, is a popular lakefront recreation area in Kelowna. It's a great spot for families with amenities like swimming, playgrounds, and sand volleyball courts. The park faces west, offering stunning sunset views over the lake. Visitors can relax at the sandy beach or enjoy picnics under the shade of trees.
Boyce-Gyro Beach Park is a lively, busy beach in Kelowna, BC. It is set on Okanagan lake, and is extremely shallow, as it is only about waist deep. It’s a great spot to take kids and we met visiting friends and their kids here. There is a playground, and even zip lines on the sand and into the water. Shady trees and sand volleyball courts line the beach. There is a store and rentals for inflatables and water sports. Dogs on leashes are allowed. Parking is pay parking and as it is a very popular park in Kelowna, it can be hard to find an open spot. Lots of tourists here in the summer months, but it is quiet in the offseason, or come early. Lovely spot to watch the sun rise or set and walk along and enjoy the beautiful Kelowna weather.

Must visit this beach!! I love it! Visited from Vancouver for the 5th time in years and have absolutely adored it as always. Perfect place for swimming, the water is absolutely clear, clean, no rocks in the water to hurt your feet, only sand, and the water only comes to your waist even if you go way, way beyond the shoreline (literally went to the middle and could still touch the bottom with my feet). Perfect atmosphere, sand is very nice, grass area, picnic tables etc I just love swimming here!

So fun for kids lots of shed and zipline ofcourse (2 different types) . You can wash your feet and they have washrooms (so clean) . Clean water for swimming and clean sand for kids can play.

One of the busiest beaches in Kelowna. Paid parking and dog-friendly on the paths and grass if leashed. Beautiful sunsets and upgraded facilities (seasonal use). If you're visiting town, it's a nice place to visit. There's restaurants and drinks nearby and it looks like they built a beach soccer field. Don't forget to pick up after your pups.

Beautiful place in the morning but crowds up quick on a summer afternoon. Half the park is beach and half the park is nice grass Feild with sports courts and fields. Dogs are permitted only on the paved walkway between the beach and the grass. Not very pet friendly. Great place to spend on a hot summer day, good views down the lake. Good shopping across the street if you forget any essentials.

Beautiful beach and park. Great jungle gym for kids with mini zipping, over sand and into the water. Rentable chairs with umbrella dor a 15$ charge for 4 hours. Nice bathrooms, juice vendor. The water goes out for ages, not deep. Gorgeous view, shoppers drugmart just up the street if you forget your sunscreen. I suggest getting to the beach early and get your spot 8:00 amish if you can it fills up quickly. Popular tourist spot.

It's perfect! There are a lot of things to do here. They offered different activities for kids and adults. They have kids park, small zip line, rental boats, paddles, etc. We can stay on the shade under the big trees sorrounding the whole area. The comfort room is clean, well, because we are quite early there, but it really gets crowded as the time passed by. But that's understandable we just need to distance ourselves to others.

Nice large beach minutes south of downtown Kelowna. Pay parking is available and a bit small but we always managed to get a space. Sanded or grassed areas to sit. Public washrooms, sand-rinsing taps, picnic tables are available. There is a concession shaped like an apple which sells chips, ice creams and drinks. Ample playground structures for kids to enjoy, including 2 ziplines - one over water and one over the sand. Water is shallow for a long distance in from the shoreline so good for young kids and non-swimmers. Really lovely, tidy and well-appointed beach.

Museums
Kelowna Art Gallery is a must-visit for art enthusiasts, offering a diverse collection of historical and contemporary Canadian art. With over 700 donated works in its permanent collection and regularly updated displays, the gallery provides an enriching experience for visitors. Additionally, the Cultural District boasts 21 pieces of public art and houses the Okanagan Wine & Orchard Museum in the historic Laurel Packinghouse. Visitors can embark on self-guided tours or join free tours during the summer to explore this vibrant artistic hub.
Kelowna Art gallery is beautifully organized. It is not as big compared to one in Vancouver or Calgary. Everyone is very friendly and welcomes with a smile. We went for the nut cracker ballet. 10/10

The exhibits were very interesting! I spent about 45 minutes touring the three rooms, and spent a few minutes in the craft room at the end. I appreciated the small handout for the main exhibit, and the artist videos. There's an original art vending machine!

I appreciate their efforts in bringing a wide variety of artwork to Kelowna. I visit whenever possible, because entry is very reasonable! Small enough to finish a walkthrough in ~1 hr.

What a beautiful experience. My family was here for the viewing of sculptures made entirely of Lego by artist Ekow Nimako...Simply spectacular! We also just so happen to be there to see very impressive artwork by some very talented high school students. Small museum, great exhibits and very accommodating staff. Thank you for a wonderful experience 🙏🏽

This gallery (really a contemporary art museum) always has thought provoking, fun and unique exhibits. You may not like everything you see, but that's art! The current exhibition includes large-scale sculptures built only with black Legos, inspired by a 14th century sea voyage of 2000 ships from west Africa. It's definitely worth a visit.

It was a nice surprise to find out this Gallery, is small but good. The staff was amazing, so helpfully and nice.

I stopped in last week since the Kelowna Art Gallery is free on Thursdays and I was really excited to check it out. One exhibit was being redone, so keep that in mind if you visit. The artwork that was there was beautiful, but I was surprised by how small the gallery actually is. The building itself is large, but it seems like a lot of the space is taken up by offices rather than exhibits. Because of that, it felt a bit underwhelming, especially considering how many incredible artists there are in Canada. I couldn’t help but think the space could be used much more effectively. Honestly, I would have been disappointed if I had paid for admission, particularly since larger cities offer much bigger galleries and more variety. I used to live in a small town with a small art gallery, and even that space seemed to make better use of what it had. Overall, the pieces were lovely, but the gallery itself just felt like it could have offered so much more.

French restaurant
Bouchons Bistro is a charming French restaurant located in Kelowna's Cultural District, offering a delightful selection of traditional French dishes and a well-curated wine list. The bistro provides an elegant and sensory experience with its Parisian-inspired menu, carefully designed decor, and special du jour offerings. Guests can indulge in exquisite dishes such as Gravlax de Saumon, Le Cassoulet, and Le Carre d'Agneau.
We had the most amazing dinner here! We came for a graduation celebration and everything was absolutely fantastic! We started with delicious martinis and appetizers that we all delicious, I highly recommend the escargot and the oysters! Then we had a lovely bottle of French wine with our mains. They brought out some special deserts with sparklers for us to end our evening of celebrating. They really know how to make an evening special!
Gabrielle H — Google review
We ordered red wine, escargot, beef tartare, and the surf & turf with beef tenderloin. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. The escargot arrived in edible cups instead of shells, and they were drowned in oil, which took away from the flavor. The restaurant tries to present itself as authentically French, but it feels more pretentious than genuine. Our server, who had such a heavy French accent that it was difficult to understand him, was also dismissive and rude. When we asked about the three-course option, he simply pointed to the board with an attitude and told us to “read it,” rather than explaining the specials. I have French colleagues who are easier to understand and more welcoming. Given the food quality and the service, I honestly don’t understand the consistently high ratings this place receives. There are far better dining options in Kelowna.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Bouchons Bistro last night & what a beautiful experience that was. We were greeted with sincerity & the atmosphere was authentic & unique to any restaurant we have been to in the Okanagan. The service was impeccable & the food was decadent! We enjoyed the ambiance and music playing in the background & the superb service we received from everyone. The Bistro gives you a feeling of being tucked away yet is close to everything. Try it - you won't regret it if your looking for a perfect place to dine and want to treat yourself. Thank You Bouchons Bistro - we will be back!

This delightful bistro was very near out hotel, and right next to Waterfront Wines. This was my favorite dinner of our trip: classic French fare, lovely outdoor seating, and excellent service from a very funny waitress. Also great were the traditional Escargot served in crisply little edible cups, and the Seafood Vol au Vent. Very French.

Absolutely amazing ❤️ My husband and I went to Bouchons Bistro to celebrate my 61st and couldn't have made a better choice. I have a garlic allergy, so eating out is always a risk, but we contacted the restaurant prior to going and let them know. I was made well aware of what dishes were garlic free. I settled on the Seafood Vol au Vent, and my husband had the Crevettes et Noix de Saint Jacques. They were delicious. For dessert, I had Crème Brûlée and my husband had the Fondant au Chocolat. We each had one drink and no appetizer. We definitely will be coming back to try other dishes ❤️

My birthday meal was excellent. The patio was delightful. We had the set menu. The salmon and duck were both excellent and the quiche was the best I have had - light and pastry free. Loved the 3 mini servings of dessert too. An alternate milk option for my coffee would have been appreciated.

Such a great spot for authentic French food in Kelowna! Everything we tried was full of flavour and perfectly done. The interior has a charming, authentic French feel — it really adds to the whole experience. The place had a nice, relaxed vibe — busy but in a really good way. The service was excellent, and the host made us feel so welcome. We had a great time!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful evening last august for her birthday. I think about that dinner often as it was one of the best I have ever had. The service was amazing. It was a very windy day and there was no issues when we requested a seat inside due to the weather. Wine recommendations were perfect with our meals. Highly recommend. Will be back every time I am in Kelowna.

Wineries & Vineyards
Nestled in the Kelowna hills, Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery is a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts. Established in 1968 as a grape growing business, it has evolved into one of the largest vineyard holdings in British Columbia, spanning 200 acres of land. In 2020, the winery unveiled its state-of-the-art facility, featuring a bright tasting room, wine shop, and the renowned Modest Butcher restaurant.
I’ve never been a big fan of white wine, but our visit to Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery changed that—thanks to our amazing waiter, Matt. He introduced us to their Chardonnay, describing it as oaked and buttery, and it truly delivered. The wine was fantastic. We also had lunch on the patio, where the breathtaking views perfectly complemented the experience. I ordered the smoked lambwich, and I have to say—it was hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. Overall, a memorable experience with great wine, stunning scenery, and outstanding food. Highly recommend!
Shawn M — Google review
Visited with my fiancé on a self selected wine tour day, after hearing good things about Mt. Boucherie. The wine was indeed good, the scenery was very nice, although it seemed like the most important thing to a lot of people; the service was pretty lax, so I wouldn’t hold your breath if you were looking from an engaging wine tasting. Is it worth a go? Absolutely. Just be prepared, pretentious folks will bombard the lawn for photos and depending on who serves you, you’ll get a very different experience.
Timmy D — Google review
What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived at the winery, we were made to feel welcome—literally—with a glass of welcome wine while we waited to be seated. The setting was stunning, and the patio is the perfect place to relax and soak it all in. The food and wine were absolutely outstanding—every dish was beautifully presented and paired perfectly with their selection of wines. The team was knowledgeable and passionate, answering all our questions about both the menu and the wines with such care. A special shoutout to the manager, Nicky, who was absolutely lovely and made our visit even more memorable. Her warmth and hospitality really stood out. We’ll definitely be returning to enjoy that beautiful patio again soon!

Modest Butcher has an epic lake view and every table has a view! We dropped in for happy hour with our 6 and 2 year old. Kids menu had great options (one had cheeseburger and fries, other had buttery noodles), we tried "things on toast" which disappeared so fast. And if its called "Butcher" we should probably get the steak. I had the Chimichurri Bison Flake rare and her the Tenderloin. Service was great we always order the mid food right away, and they went off to run around the Greenspace below the restaurant. I love this restaurant and the winery as well (Try the "Graves Robber" if you go), definitely check out their happy hour offerings. There were so many other things I need to try on the new fall menu!

Always enjoy a tasting here. Lovely view and tasting room, great selection and variety of quality wines. The Wine Shop manager Jerome is so knowledgeable - if you really want to learn more about wine, he is a great resource. The happy hour at the restaurant upstairs (Modest Butcher currently 3-5 PM ) has some delicious options for both vegetarians and carnivores. Their Reserve Chardonnay is so beautiful for chard fans who are looking for high quality on a budget!

Went as part of a wine tour. Service for the tastings was horrible. Server poured for half our group and then walked away and forgot about us. Small pours and way too much time between. Lunch upstairs at the Modest Butcher was very good but the service was very slow. I suspect that they are understaffed. Wouldn’t recommend.

Such an amazing experience! We did the wine tasting, got some food and ended up with a take home bottle. The burger was to die for. Shout out to Jonah who made the experience even greater, telling us about each wine and its back story

While the location was beautiful, our tasting left much to be desired. Unfortunately we arrived as a large party was leaving. Our tasting host was inattentive and preoccupied with other co-workers and another guy at the bar. Our visit was redeemed by the warehouse manager who answered many of our questions and was pleasant to talk with.

Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna is a unique winery that stands out due to its iconic pyramid structure. The owners have conducted studies on the effects of geometry on liquids, leading them to build a striking white pyramid. For over 20 years, barrels of wine have been stored inside the pyramid, with blind taste tests revealing that wines aged within it for up to three months exhibit improved aroma and smoothness compared to those aged outside.
We recently visited Summerhill Pyramid Winery and while the experience started with a long wait, it was well worth it in the end. The winery was very busy, even though it wasn’t peak hours be prepared to wait if you are coming for a tasting, as it takes time to serve each party 4–5 glasses and give proper attention to the wine storytelling. Since the indoor tasting area was packed, we were redirected to the gazebo tasting room outside, which had a lovely setting. Still, we had to wait about 30 minutes as 2–3 groups were ahead of us. When it was finally our turn, we were served by the manager, Daniel (if I recall the name right), and he was absolutely fantastic. Despite being pulled in every direction, Daniel remained calm, warm, and engaging. He didn’t rush us at all he explained each wine thoughtfully, poured generously, and made the whole experience enjoyable and educational. He also didn’t pressure us to make any purchases, which we appreciated. In the end, we left with several bottles and a box of wine, including a few delicious ice wines. The wait was long, but the customer service and quality of wine made it worth it. Pro tip: If you’re planning a visit, try to arrive early in the day or on a weekday to avoid the peak crowd

There is a beautiful view, a large parking lot. There is a restaurant and a shop where wine is sold, there is a very beautiful interior and polite staff. But the prices seem too high to me. Although there were a lot of people, several buses with tourists from Asia.

Mix feelings about this one. Definitely one of the best views in town. The food was good but quite expensive. Unfortunately, as it is a winery, the wines did not impress me. Located only a few minutes from downtown Kelowna, you'll find a huge, heated terrace overlooking lake Okanagan, perfect to watch the sunset. You cannot beat that. Inside decor is... a tad weird. Not sure what is going on with all the sculptures and pyramid references? We started with a wine tasting. They know their product but, except for their version of a champagne, I did not find anything of interest. The food was a redemption, I must say. Our server was sweet, and we had overall a great night. It is just so expensive for what it is. I guess you pay for the views? I've been told it's a very popular place, but we went on a Friday, and we were maybe nine people total, and our group counted for six. Oh well.
Katerine G — Google review
This place offers great views and good photo ops while you visit this winery. Famous for its pyramid cellar, they offer a broad selection of whites, reds, sparklings, and ice wines. They can offer you a tasting of their product free of charge provided you buy a bottle. Additional wine tasting options and a winery tour is optional by reservations.

Me and my family wanted to stop by to have a taste of wine. We were enjoying the view and how nice the place was. Unfortunately, we felt horribly mistreated by the man working at the tasting room. We wanted to have a taste before buying, so we asked what’s something he recommends and what their best selling wine was. We waited for his reply, however, it seems though he was ignoring us on purpose and acted like we weren’t there. A few minutes go by and we see him giving out wine to two ladies who just came by dressed gracefully. I’m not assuming but it felt as if it had to do with the way we look. I hate to be look down upon especially when it comes to customer services like these. Customers should be valued and treated equally, it’s basically called human decency.

This was my very first wine tasting experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. The host was extremely knowledgeable, cheerful, and engaging throughout the tasting. She not only provided excellent service but also shared educational information in a way that was easy to understand and enjoyable to learn. Her energy and professionalism made the experience both fun and memorable. I left feeling not only impressed by the wines but also grateful for the outstanding service. Highly recommend!

The Modest Butcher Kitchen + Market, located at Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery, offers a stunning view of Lake Okanagan and is known for being one of the top restaurants in British Columbia. The restaurant opened its doors in 2020 and has quickly gained a reputation for serving exceptional steaks paired with delicious sauces made from the winery's own collection.

All the food we ordered were delicious - worth the price we paid for! However, when we asked if they could move us to a different table because our table was the only one with too much direct sunshine, the hostess came and said that they could not move us because the restaurant was fully booked. Then, our server came a few minutes later and said he'd move us. The tables were not full while we were at the restaurant. We were there for over 2 hours as our food did not come out for more than one and a half hours. But once they came out, they were good. I don't know if I'd ever go back...
Amy C — Google review
This might be the worst review I've ever left... Awesome view but that's about all you're paying for. The food was only okay, but very under seasoned and definitely not stellar for the price point. Additionally to this, the service was so bad I could never see myself returning. Lots of staff running around but still we felt ignored. Compared other winery restaurants in the region, this was far below expectations. No one checked in on us for long periods of time and I saw no managers on the floor during peak hours. Honestly, restaurants that are half as expensive like Earls or Cactus Club have far higher standards. Our server didn't know many simple details about the menu, the specials or the wines, and twice made recommendations for items they were out of. On numerous occasions she had to read off of our menu to explain clarifying questions. Our table was left dirty, our food was delivered with no cutlery, and our food runner didn't notice (or care). We were left to sit for a few minutes with our plates in front of us. Empty glasses were left on the table. When we were ready to go, we waited for about twenty minutes for the bill and then longer to get the machine. Rather than pack our food, we were brought a laughably small box to pack for ourselves that didn't fit. On top of this, the tip prompts start at 20% escalating to 25%, which given how poor the service was is frankly an insult. This place seriously lacks oversite, and any seasoned restaurant manager watching the floor would have had a fit if they saw what was going on. Save your money for place that cares.

This is our go to steakhouse premium place in the Okanagan.... Quite the amazing high end boutique restaurant in the Winery. The tomahawk steak was in our top five best steak ever!!! So many other top quality dishes to choose from. This place should be everyone's go to for a celebration meal. Service top shelf too. Try this place!!

Lamb burger tastes like a single father tried to feed their kid by putting a bunch of barbecue sauce a burger bun. Beef burger is dry with an overcooked egg. Brussels sprouts have no texture or shape and feel like eating crumbs. Took over an hour for food. Drinks didn’t come until after dinner somehow. Truffle mayo is way over salted. Fries are good :) Tomahawk steaks have out-priced themselves and are no longer worth the novelty. Server was very nice, nothing he could do! And a very nice space and atmosphere.

Love going to the modest butcher. I’ve been back three times and all three times I’ve had one waiter that is British recognize me and is the friendly and most charming person. How he recognizes me months later each time is beyond me and he is sooo kind and welcoming. Give him a raise and a day off! How is he there every time I come hahah. Such a nice guy. 10/10 love the wine, the food and the view.

After completing a wine tasting on the back patio, we went upstairs for a delicious lunch. Grace, our server, was absolutely charming and a wonderful host. Unfortunately, the kitchen was extremely slow and one of our guests meal arrived about 30 minutes before the other five guests. The food was tasty but the lack of culinary timing was disappointing. We were thankful for Grace saving the dining experience, which would otherwise have been not great.

Diner Deluxe, a new addition to the breakfast scene in Kelowna, is the fourth branch of this Canadian chain. The original restaurant in Calgary's Bridgeland district offers a charming atmosphere with mismatched crockery and an impressive selection of breakfast and lunch options, available seven days a week. The chain has received positive reviews since opening its doors in Kelowna, located on Lakeshore across from Gyro Beach in the Pandosy area.
The brunch diaries continue! My friends and I had brunch here yesterday and we had wonderful time. I ordered the stuffed potato rosti which was lovely. The flavours were great and the rosti was perfectly crispy. I did wish there was a little more hollandaise and that it came on top but overall I would order it again! One of friends got the waffle and fries which is an absolute treat! I loved the savoury pancake and the maple butter is to die for. Lastly, we had the stuffed French toast to share and the waitress kindly plated them separately without us asking which was so nice of her. The service in general was excellent and the ambiance is great in there! Can’t wait to come back!! Follow us on @saturday_brunches for more great reviews ✨

Not overly obsessive, but knew right when to come to the table. Everything was super clean and the vibe/decor was amazing 👏 Super pleased with the mimosas as well! All in all....we can't wait to go back and everyone should check out this hidden gem!

If you're looking for the best tasting brunch in Kelowna, this is the spot. Everything on the menu is bang on. My absolute favorites include the mac & cheese, mascarpone french toast, and the pancakes (so fluffy). And if you don't get the cinnamon bun, what are you even doing?? Get the cinnamon bun. The service is a bit warmer at the Calgary locations but we are so happy to have a location here in town!

The Train Station Pub is a charming eatery located in a beautifully restored 1926 railway station in Kelowna's Downtown. This historic pub offers an elevated Canadian grill menu featuring local craft beers and wines. The brunch menu boasts traditional favorites like chicken and waffles, as well as more adventurous options such as Pakora benny and breakfast poutine. With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, this venue serves as both a community hub and a place for casual gatherings.
A great spot for any meal. The staff are fun and worth sitting at the counters. We had dinner and brunch and food was fantastic (try the happy hour hot dog for an excellent bread experience). The patio featured WATER MISTERS for hot days (!!!) A lovely patio with comfortable seating.

Great Food, Lovely Patio & Exceptionally Pet-Friendly! We had a wonderful dining experience — the food was delicious, the patio was perfect for a relaxed meal, and the service truly stood out. What made it even better was how welcoming they were to our pet. It's not easy to find places that go out of their way to accommodate furry friends, but this spot absolutely does. Highly recommend for pet lovers looking to enjoy a great meal with their companion by their side!

First time here on a Saturday night with no reservation and we were able to get a table for two no problem inside or outside. Parking is free for 3 hours as long as you are dining you just scan a code on your phone. The menu is simple and I had the lamb burger and my husband had the chicken burger Both burgers were equally delicious and a combination of flavors were magnificent. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. Definitely would like to come back here and try some other items on the menu. Cuz they all looked really good.

Stopped in at the Train Station Pub on a Friday night in mid-June, and the experience was absolutely top-tier. The atmosphere was electric — the perfect mix of laid-back and lively, with great music, a buzzing crowd, and that signature Kelowna summer vibe rolling through the open-air patio. You could feel the energy of the weekend just kicking off. I had the Korean wings and the Game Day Dog, and both were out-of-this-world good. The wings were crispy, packed with flavor, and had just the right amount of heat. The Game Day Dog was a full-on flavor bomb — bold, juicy, and loaded with toppings without going overboard. Everything tasted fresh, made with care, and hit the comfort food sweet spot without feeling greasy or overdone. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly knew how to keep things running smoothly even on a busy night. It’s easy to see why this spot is a local favorite — cool historic setting, killer food, and a vibe that makes you want to stay for another round. Whether you're a local or just visiting Kelowna, the Train Station Pub should be on your must-hit list.

I’ve ordered the beef and broccoli many times, and it’s usually good. But this time the beef was just awful — it was so overcooked and soft that it completely fell apart. It had a mushy, pasty texture that made it really unappetizing. I also asked for no chili flakes and my dish still came with them. I am really disappointed with this order. Not worth the $24+ tip.

The best poutine in town and good food all around. Quaint train station ambiance. Lovely presentation. Remember to save your license plate number, as soon as we sat to eat not 90 seconds later the meter maid descended on the lot. I recommend ordering the nachos and the poutine as the apps are large and shareable.

Service was above and beyond, food was also great! Dog friendly patio (even a pup menu). Megan was our server and was so lovely!
Shannon M — Google review
The ambiance is fantastic! Dining inside a beautifully converted old train station provided a unique and cozy backdrop for our Thanksgiving dinner. The service was very good—our server was attentive, and the pace of the meal felt just right. A major highlight was the drinks menu; the cocktails were truly delicious and perfectly crafted. However, the Thanksgiving meal itself missed the mark. The food was generally quite salty, and I found the vegetables disappointingly overcooked. Given that the overall experience was on the expensive side, the quality of the main meal was a letdown. On the upside, arriving late on a public holiday meant parking was easy and stress-free. I'd definitely return for the atmosphere and drinks, but I might stick to less complex items on the regular menu.

Perched above a picturesque grape orchard with stunning lake vistas, The Restaurant at Mission Hill Family Estate offers an elegant dining experience. Renowned for its refined New Canadian cuisine and breathtaking vineyard views, this culinary gem at Mission Hill Winery combines impeccable service with innovative dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients that celebrate the essence of Okanagan.
Had an amazing experience dining here for the first time with family! We were first greeted by the electric host, Katie, and our server, Joe, was nothing short of spectacular. Shoutout to the BOH as well! ‘The eyes eat first’ with beautiful presentation and delicious flavours to follow, the food was very satisfying even though we only came in for the lounge menu. We are looking forward to visiting again for the 3-course dinner and booking one of their ornate private rooms!!

We have come here before but stayed for a three course meal this time. The food was incredible. Honestly so gourmet and unique. Our sever, Matika, was the ever accommodating hostess to our questions and queries about the wine and food. Stunning atmosphere ignited by stunning culinary consumables. We love the wine. We love the vibes. We are so grateful for our evening at Mission Hills. Definitely recommend to anyone wishing for an elevated experience.

We had lunch here and tried the Wagyu beef, beet salad, scallops, and duck breast — everything was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The wine pairing elevated each course perfectly. The outdoor dining area is stunning, with gorgeous vineyard views that make the experience even more memorable. Service was warm and attentive, with staff who clearly care about creating a great experience. A must-visit spot in Kelowna.

Wonderful lunch. The restaurant has spectacular views overlooking vineyards, Lake Okanagan and hills beyond. The service was professional and friendly. Our server was Kelsey. We had Ricotta Gnudi and beet salad as appetizers, and roasted duck breasts for the main course. All were delicious. The recommended wine parings worked very well. We were about to skip desert, when the maitre d' stopped at our table and talked us into sharing a San Sebastian cheese cake. It was to die for- just like the Basque cheesecake we experienced in Bilbao earlier this year. You HAVE TO try it especially if you are a lover of cheesecake.

We've been to The Terrace Restaurant many times and each visit is a unique dining experience. If you enjoy great food paired with excellent wine then their set course dinner won't disappoint. Each dish is beautifully prepared and each wine has been thoughtfully paired to enhance the flavours of that dish. And in case you like a wine that you had with your meal, I appreciate that you can purchase bottles at the same price as you would pay in their wine shop. The servers are always excellent hosts! Overall, a great experience each time we have been there.

Wow! What an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional: food, wine, service, and ambiance. Mission Hill Winery exceeded all expectations and delivered a dining experience that was not only the best we've had in Canada, but truly one of the finest we've had anywhere in the world. We wholeheartedly recommend it for any occasion. Whether you're celebrating something special, or simply treating yourself to something extraordinary. Summary: Fantastic food. Phenomenal wine. Spectacular views. But what truly brought Mission Hill to life was the service. From the warm welcome at the gate to the attentive table service and a one-of-a-kind cellar experience, every moment was thoughtfully curated and genuinely memorable. Details: My (new!) fiancé and I are visiting Canada from Australia, and on the strong recommendation of friends and fellow travellers , we made a point to visit the renowned Mission Hill Winery. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this would be a special experience. As we passed through the winery gates, we were immediately struck by the elegant architecture and meticulously maintained gardens. Friendly, impeccably presented staff welcomed us and guided us to parking. After a short stroll across the manicured entry lawn, we were greeted again - this time by a young host who led us to our table with a view that deserves a paragraph of its own… Set beneath a graceful stone arch, our table looked out over a sun-kissed vineyard gently sloping toward the shimmering lake. A doe and her fawn grazed peacefully just beyond the first row of vines, adding a storybook charm to an already stunning setting. The surrounding hills evoked memories of a Swiss summer or perhaps a New Zealand spring. Utterly breathtaking. Our server, Matika (more on her in a moment), welcomed us warmly and offered a complimentary glass of sparkling rosé. As self-proclaimed non-rosé drinkers, we were genuinely impressed—so much so that we ordered a second glass. It was the first of many surprises. The menu was beautifully curated, though we honestly wished there were more courses to try. Between us, we enjoyed the goat cheese salad, Wagyu carpaccio, catch of the day (scallops), and the duck—all accompanied by wine pairings. The staff graciously accommodated a few personal preferences with ease. Matika walked us through each dish and wine pairing with knowledgeable and mouthwatering descriptions. Remarkably, every single dish and wine was outstanding - something we've rarely experienced before. Normally, there’s at least one miss, but at Mission Hill, everything was a hit. We especially recommend the Chardonnay and Merlot. As we dined, we found ourselves repeatedly marveling at the view, the food, and the overall sense of tranquility. The conversation flowed as effortlessly as the wine. Though we were thoroughly satisfied, we couldn’t resist staying a little longer. We ordered the chocolate dessert along with a glass from their Legacy Collection—an excellent pairing suggested by Matika. Once again, perfection. Mission Hill isn’t just a winery or a fine dining venue—it’s a complete sensory experience, effortlessly blending landscape, cuisine, and hospitality into something truly unforgettable. We left full, happy, and already dreaming of a return visit. Special Thanks: A massive shoutout to our incredible host, Matika, who truly brought the entire experience to life. Her warm, engaging presence and exceptional service went above and beyond. Matika was, without a doubt, the star of the show. We also want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Roxy, who guided us on a truly unforgettable cellar tour. Exploring the mystical vaults beneath the winery, where the aging barrels rest, felt absolutely magical. Roxy’s deep knowledge and genuine passion for winemaking were both inspiring and captivating.

Excellent service and amazing dishes paired with wines! Very enjoyable experience. Especially loved the Yarrow Meadows Duck Roasted in a Pan. We ended up purchasing two bottles of 2024 Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc to take home, ($26 each). This was included in the dining bill and tips were paid with the bottles included, which didn’t make sense as we expected a separate bill for the wine. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

Bear Creek Provincial Park, situated on the shores of Okanagan Lake just 11 kilometers north of Kelowna, is a popular destination for camping and outdoor activities in the Okanagan Valley. Spanning 178 hectares, the park offers a campground with amenities suitable for both RV and tent campers, as well as over five kilometers of picturesque forest and canyon trails. With 400 meters of beachfront along the lake, visitors can enjoy swimming and other daytime pursuits.
A wonderful place to walk in all seasons. The trail is very well maintained. You can see the waterfalls from the top in summer, spring and fall. However in winter you can walk on the creek between the canyon and go to the base of the waterfall. I should add that it is not very safe to do so. Because you are walking on a thin ice on a creek so be very careful and use hiking poles to ensure the next step is safe when you are hiking to the waterfall. I usually see lots of kids and dogs on this trail so it is family friendly. There is also washrooms in the parking lot plus a map. Overall I really recommend to try this hike in winter. It was magical

Bear Creek Provincial Park in west Kelowna, BC is has beautiful hiking trails for scenic views of Okanagan Lake. The hike is tough though and steep and it can be pretty rough on a smoking hot day, like when our family did it. There are shaded areas deeper into the forest though, but take lots of water on a hot day. There is a lovely creek with cold, clear water and great views of Okanagan lake from the top. A big canyon cuts through the mountains as well. The park has campgrounds and sand beaches. A nice place to hike and enjoy nature. We also saw a huge, eagles nest in a tree and there are some areas burnt from forest fires.

We’ve been a few times and really like this campground. It has a beautiful beach and nice open field area. Last years trip was cancelled due to the fire. I just took a quick look at the hiking trails in my recent trip to Kelowna. Unfortunately, that side of the park was closed and presumably burned out. The photos are from the road. It was such a nice hike.

Good. Bathrooms and showers and sites were clean and taken care of. They drove around in golf carts. Bad There is no trail as noted on the map. The bushes are all overgrown. Barely any beach. No dog beach. Bird poop on the beach. There were people hogging the beach by leaving all their chairs, etc. there the whole week .
Diane K — Google review
Very decent hike for the mediocre hiker. I enjoyed the mixed of stairs and the slopes. I would not recommend with little kids as there is very steep trails are there. I enjoyed a lot being first time on this trail. I would also recommend going with hike buddy to support each other in case of emergencies.
TRP — Google review
Great hiking trail, it is quite the climb to start, but nothing too bad. Once you get to the creek there are spots to go in and chill out, once you're you're ready to keep going you'll cross a bridge over the creek and from that point on there is no more water so I'd recommend soaking your shirt before you cross the bridge since the rest of the hike you're pretty exposed to the sun.

A diamond in the rough just off Westlake road in west Kelowna . . This provincial park delivers at all levels. Great clean sandy beach , well maintained. Large and small RV spots along with great tenting spots . Great spot for a day trip as well for all your lake needs, paddle boarding, kayaking. Swimming etc Staff are super courteous and helpful . Check it out 🤙
ScottF — Google review
This is not for the camping area, this is for the hiking trail across the road! Nice workout to start whether you do the stairs along the path to the right (approx. 147 of them) or if you head up the path to the left. Trail is a circle, with side paths to get you to view points and down to the water. The viewpoints on the north side of the canyon are better to see the waterfalls. Nice views of downtown Kelowna, the bridge and the lake from a bench on the south side of the canyon. In winter wear ice grips for traction, the far end of the canyon is shaded and can be very icy. Parking is available at the base and can be busy in the summer. There is toilet near the parking. Parking is closed off in the winter but you can park on the road on the lake side, just be mindful of the no parking signs and avoid that area. If you are unsteady on your feet or have difficulty walking, be careful as there is loose rock and gravel throughout and a couple sets of awkward stairs. This trail is an easy walk, up the stairs or up the hill will get your heart pumping but the rest is fairly flat.

Nestled in the heart of British Columbia's Okanagan region, the Okanagan Heritage Museum is a treasure trove for history enthusiasts and curious travelers alike. This captivating museum takes you on a journey through time, showcasing an array of exhibits that highlight the area's rich past—from ancient tools and fossils to artifacts from early European settlers and Indigenous cultures. The interactive displays make learning about local wildlife and historical events engaging for visitors of all ages.
Really cool with heavy focus on the local indigenous (Syilx/Okanagan) way of life and repercussions of colonialism. The School Life Special exhibit was awesome and lovely to experience! Made me want to see the Sncewips Museum but tragically it’s too far out of my way this visit!
Clio — Google review
I visited this museum using the Canoo app, expecting it to be free — but the entry was $8. The museum is very small and the entire visit takes only a short time. Parking is paid and extremely difficult to find, especially on holidays. Even though there were only about five people inside, the parking lot was completely full. Honestly, if I hadn’t gotten it for free, I wouldn’t have felt it was worth it. The exhibits are limited and not very engaging for adults. It might be more appealing to kids, but not something I’d return to. Overall, not a must-visit — just okay if you’re nearby and it’s free.

the lady at the front was really nice. i thought the little creatures (the taxidermy animals) were super epic sauce. 9/10 it was cool wish the dinosaur exhibit had more things to look at. i would go again.

I recommend this place to bring your family for exploring history behind the formation of Okanagan Valley. Well, They have ancient windows of few retail stores and house at display, all are presenting in a great way. But, I was little shocked to see those birds and animals being used to display as a showpiece.

The most comprehensive museum for everything about the Okanagan's history and environment. Great variety of exhibits from different cultures and locations, spanning thousands of years. An absolute must visit. Give yourself at least 1.5 hours to see everything.
Xiao L — Google review
Having visited many large and well curated museums around the world, I found this to be a mighty little gem in Kelowna. Interesting artifacts. There's even a stuffed grizzly bear! On a more sombre note, the acknowledgement of both indigenous reconciliation and the history of racial displacement in Kelowna and the Okanagan (an important part of its history) was front and centre and something I wholly appreciated. I happened to make it in time for the travelling exhibit on the Japanese dispossession during and after World War II. It was a sobering, but much needed storytelling of the Japanese-Canadian experience (especially from the coast/lower mainland) throughout and past internment because of the war. A great little museum and worth a visit. I spent 2.5 hours on both the main and special exhibits (but I read every single placard in the museum). You probably only need 45 minutes to an hour if you just look at the artifacts and skim the placards.

Very well done museum, featuring many areas of the natural world, history, indigenous matters, local culture and industries. Great panoramic photos comparing 1912 to present day. (Reduced opening days in the off-season.)

Good local museum. Lots of indigenous information and perspective. Large reproductions of indigenous and settler buildings. Tonnes of artifacts and interactive pieces (not currently accessible for health safety reasons). Temporary Bat exhibit was very educational. Good physical distancing and mask use.

Kalamoir Regional Park, situated on the western side of Okanagan Lake in Kelowna, offers breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The park is a hidden gem that provides an ideal vantage point to witness stunning sunrises and dramatic sunset silhouettes. In spring, the hillsides are adorned with vibrant yellow Arrowleaf balsamroot flowers, creating a picturesque setting for waterfront strolls and hillside hikes.
Beautiful little area that’s especially good if you want somewhere with lots of little nooks and crannies so you can find your own quiet area of the beach, absolutely lovely place to paddleboard, and I quite enjoyed my birthday there, especially since I asked my best friend for a quiet place to go!!

Nice off the beaten path local park with views of Okanagan Lake and the mountains. This is not a fancy park with a lot of amenities. There are nice walking paths and some picnic tables and it’s generally quiet.
Charlene W — Google review
Beautiful nice loop trail to walk with kids and doggy. Not too many people and path was well maintained. Just be careful that there are many tiny cactus rolling on the side of path and our puppy stepped onto few of them. It was quite painful to remove them as well.
Judy W — Google review
One of my favorite places to walk my dog. The main access via Collins Hill has a gate that is often closed in the winter (probably because the road down to the small parking lot is quite steep and would be treacherous in the snow) but the trails can be accessed on either end by the Sunnyside or Casa Loma neighborhoods (limited street parking) or off of Collins Road. The lower trail is fairly wide and follows the lake and has vault toilets and trash cans midway (please pick up after your dog!). There is a unfenced dog beach area (a bit more natural -no sandy smooth beach here) - this is the only off-leash area. The upper trail is very narrow but has beautiful views. Watch out for patches of a prickly pear low growing cactus - they will get stuck in your dog's paws- they are in a few areas just off the upper trail. Note that these trails tend to get quite busy in summer and on weekends. Also a nice place to launch your kayak with a dock that has a launch for handicapped (only in the summer).

Local secret. Tons of beach space with two dog beaches. Not enough parking. Clean with restrooms. Wheelchair accessible kayaking ramp. Main beach no dogs allowed but Red Plates bring them there. Call bylaws .

A wonderful park with plenty of lake access, dog beaches, swimming area and a scenic trail. A lot of prickly pear cactus keep your dogs on the trail or in the lake.

I made reservations to have a local celebration for my son and daughter-in-law. The food was fantastic, highly recommended, the venue and view was spectacular. The service was exceptional. I was so glad to choose this option, as I usually cater myself to family and friend gatherings. I would definitely recommend going to Shannon Lake Golf course so you can relax and enjoy your family and friends instead. Thank you to the staff at SLGC

Great local course local on the infamous Shannon lake itself. It's been a few years since I've child here but they have kept it very well maintained. It's a course for mid handicap which is what I am, so it's perfect . Some elevation holes as it wraps around the community and back under the road to the lake side. Well done I'll be back 🤙

I left a review about 3 years ago that compliments the course and staff but was less positive regarding the restaurant. I now need to amend that. The course is in fantastic shape, all staff, including the restaurant, are friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is really good value for the money and the new restaurant manager and chef are doing a great job. Two thumbs up!

Beautiful course but was rushed. Went for the back nine and breakfast special. My son and I are from out of town and wanted to get a relaxing morning of golf in. We were a party of 4 and not taking that long. The course had a tournament going on that day so I understand pace of play but then maybe don't run the back nine breakfast special during tournaments. Food and restaurant staff was great. Will be choosing a different course next time. Something more laid back. We were unaware you had to be such a fast golfer to play here. How are beginners supposed to improve?
Kyle A — Google review
Had a buddy who was having a hard time walking the course due to some health reasons, and they drove a cart out to us and let him use it free of charge for the remainder of the round. Course was beautiful and well kept and we really had an awesome round. So thankful for how helpful the staff were with the situation. Really saved the day.

The food here was really good—flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. I truly enjoyed everything I ordered, and it’s definitely a place I would recommend to others. To be honest, the only thing I felt could be improved was the portion size. For the price, the servings felt a bit small. But overall, the taste and quality made up for it. Highly recommended if you’re looking for delicious Indian food with authentic flavors!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The Paneer Tikka was the star of the evening – perfectly marinated, smoky, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was soft on the inside and crisp on the outside, truly one of the best I’ve had. A special mention to Raman, who served us with such warmth and professionalism. She was attentive without being intrusive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her friendly approach really added to the overall experience. The manager also deserves appreciation for creating such a welcoming atmosphere and running the place so smoothly. You can see the passion for quality in both the food and the service. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be coming back! 🌟love from Toronto 👍🏻

The Best Indian Restaurant! My partner and I were absolutely starving when we arrived, so we didn’t even get a chance to take pictures before this point From the flavors to the service to the overall vibe, everything was truly on point. We ordered Veg Biriyani (I would like call it shahi), Fish Tikka, and Garlic Basil Naan. The restaurant had a lovely, vibrant atmosphere with beautiful classical Indian music playing in the background, adding to the experience. We were warmly welcomed by Mandeep, and Gagan took amazing care of us throughout our meal. Their hospitality made our visit even more special. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic Indian food and great service!

First time dining at Dawett Indian Fine Dining and it was a wonderful experience. The food was full of authentic flavor and beautifully presented. The ambiance was warm and refined, and our server Mandi was exceptionally kind and helpful—she made us feel truly welcome.

We had such a wonderful experience dining here that I felt compelled to leave a review. From start to finish, everything about our visit was excellent — from the generous portions to the welcoming atmosphere, and most of all, the incredible service from our server-in-training, Anureet. Let’s start with the food. Every dish we ordered came out looking beautiful and tasting even better. You can really tell that the kitchen takes pride in what they serve — everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and served hot. What impressed me most, though, was the portion size. Each plate was generous enough to satisfy even the hungriest appetite, but still presented with care and attention to detail. It’s the kind of food that not only fills you up but also makes you appreciate every bite. We even had leftovers to take home, which says a lot because everything was so good we didn’t want to stop eating! The atmosphere added so much to the experience. The restaurant has a warm, inviting feel — classy without being pretentious, and comfortable enough that you can truly relax and enjoy your meal. The lighting was soft and flattering, the music was at just the right volume, and the overall vibe made it feel like the perfect place for both a nice dinner out or a casual get-together with friends. The space was spotless, the décor tasteful, and there was a calm, easy energy that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. But the real standout of the night was our server-in-training, Anureet. She was absolutely wonderful from the moment we sat down. Even though she mentioned she was still in training, you would never have known it from how confidently and warmly she handled everything. She greeted us with a genuine smile, took the time to go over the menu, and offered thoughtful recommendations that ended up being spot-on. What I appreciated most about Anureet was how attentive and professional she was without ever being intrusive. She checked in at just the right moments, made sure our drinks were always refilled, and ensured that every part of our meal was going smoothly. There was a moment when one dish was taking a little longer, and she came by proactively to let us know it was on its way — a small touch, but one that shows true care and awareness. You can tell she takes her role seriously and genuinely enjoys making guests feel welcome. She has a great personality — friendly, polite, and full of positive energy — and she’s already doing an amazing job. It’s clear she’s going to be an outstanding server once her training is complete. Overall, this restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way: fantastic food in generous portions, a warm and relaxing environment, and exceptional service from a truly wonderful server-in-training. Huge thanks to the entire team, and especially to Anureet, for making our evening so memorable. We’ll definitely be back soon!

I was visiting from out of town and my family raves about this place! It did not disappoint. The food was delicious and packed with flavors. Our serve Ashlee was fantastic and full of smiles and laughs, it made the experience unforgettable. The atmosphere was really cool I enjoyed reading all the signs!

This is our second year coming back to The Pepper Pot over the Canada Day long weekend—and we’ve been looking forward to it all year. That’s how memorable our first experience was! The food is classic, delicious diner style—comfort food done right. And I have to say, the gravy is honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life. It’s the kind of thing you think about long after the meal’s over. You will not leave feeling hungry—the portions are generous and satisfying But what really sets this place apart is the vibe. The fun, quirky decor makes it feel like a hidden gem, and the service is always amazing—friendly, fast, and welcoming. You feel right at home the second you walk in. Already looking forward to next year’s visit!

I'm about to give you the real deal on Pepper's Grill in Kelowna, and if you don't go, you're a damn fool. This place is getting five stars, and frankly, it's making me question every other five-star review I've ever given in my entire life. You know how sometimes you just walk into a place and immediately know, just by the crowd and the ambient vibe, that you made the right choice? Well, this is one of those places. It's super unique, the staff is very friendly and jokey, and you'll never be bored because the walls are full of pictures with hilarious quotes. I could have spent an hour just looking at the walls, but the food was calling. And let me tell you about that food. The bacon here is on another level—it's thick, smoky, and absolutely delicious, not the generic crap you get at those chains. It's a proper strip of bacon that tastes like it was meant for you. Now, here’s the kicker. I'm usually so adamant about what I order, especially for all-day breakfast. I almost never get persuaded by the special. But the server got me, and I ordered their special, which was some kind of Denver sandwich on French toast with egg and chicken, their own spin on chicken and waffles. And it was just outrageously delicious and filling. The portions here are no joke; they're heaping, even the fruit salad was massive. So, stop wasting your time and go to Pepper's. Let them change your life, just like they changed mine. You won't regret it.

Went here for some brunch based on a recommendation and it was very tasty! I loved the fun, kitschy vibe, though it was a bit crowded. I had the stuffed French toast and they were very reasonably priced at $10 for two HUGE pieces! In future trips to Kelowna, I look forward to coming back to Pepper Pot Grill.

Met a friend for breakfast. Such a cute, independent restaurant! All day breakfast is a nice option, and the Crab Cake Benny was outstanding!
Cosma_lisa — Google review
First time here, loved it! Had their daily special, a pulled pork breakfast sandwich and wife had the Crab Cake Bennies. The eggs were perfectly done. The wait staff was the friendliest bunch. Coffee was nice and strong the way I like. Would highly recommend and will be back next time we are Kelowna.

From out of town and we were looking for a local place to grab lunch. We hit the jackpot! This place was amazing! Friendly atmosphere, delicious food and amazing service! We had the truckers breakfast & a couple club sandwiches. The sandwiches were made with real roasted turkey and the fries were house made. We had a side of gravy, which was the best gravy I have ever had tons of flavour. Highly recommend

Sleepy sundays are perfect for cruising and enjoying our backyard… when in West Bank it’s a Pepper Pot Grill West Kelowna and Paynter's Fruit Market kinda day! Common theme: nostalgia! Since 1999 the Pepper Pot Grill has been luring locals and tempting travellers on the HWY 97 with a throwback old school dinner atmosphere and its casual comfort cuisine. New owners, Gary Walker (Red Seal Cert /w 15 years service, Cactus Club) and his wonderful wife Lauren (Four Seasons, The Keg, Cask & Barrel) wish to invest their long time hospitality backgrounds into this okanagan treasure. Scratch made, fresh, high quality ingredients with a clever twist on the classic dinner favourites- it’s a “Must Visit”! 🏆☕️🍔🍳☀️🤤 Features: ALL DAY Breakfast, AAA Canadian beef, in-house roast beef & turkey & brisket, Bonanza Meats & Deli Bacon. Gourmet goodness all the way! Thank you Anna for the lovely service and ensuring we were looked after even with the non-stop line ups. Be back veryyyy soon!

The food at Subcity Donair is exceptional, particularly their waffle fries with the delicious seasoning. Their falafel wrap is highly recommended and the staff are professional and accommodating, ensuring that your order is prepared to your liking. The establishment itself may not be an ideal place to dine in, as it resembles more of an industrial park setting. However, their donairs are tasty and satisfying, with the spicy fries being flavorful (although not truly spicy) and accompanied by a delectable sauce.
I came in and got fries, pickles and a jumbo donair the older gentleman working the counter was very polite and super friendly and always Great at striking a conversation, the food was hot great and the portions were nice, when I asked the gentleman for his name he wouldn’t give it to me but instead said kindly to “write a review about the whole store instead of himself” great customer service and you really feel apart of the subcity family, I will be coming back.

DON'T WAST YOUR MONEY ⛔️⚠️$13 dollars and you get the smallest Donair in the word with dry meat.. For $13 dollars I could have gotten a large meal somewhere else. I was going to go to subway but seen this on line thinking it was OK. Was I wrong angry with todays choice 😤😡. Now I'm more HANGRY then when I first got there as it was only an appetizer and have to go to A&W for an actual full meal wasting more money when i should have just went there to beginwith. I know you can get what you want on it but I went with classic and ripped myself off. Sure you can put other ingredients on it but then your drowning out the meat flavor. Which had none I may add as their was little meat and dry as hell

We used to come here in the past and there was a sweet girl with long vivid color hair...had the most amazing service by her . It's been a while so figured we'd stop in and there was a very different girl working. Donair and poutine were half the size as before with way less amount of toppings. Probably won't be back unless I see the girl with the vivid hair and I'd advice others to do the same or you won't get your money's worth

I ordered a beef donair platter. The meat was average compared to the great, authentic donair I've had before. However, the service was excellent, and the employee was very accommodating to my dietary needs.
Golnaz N — Google review
Absolutely disgusting! Cut the donair in half and found 5 long brown hairs in the beef. The guy making them has a huge bushy beard. Not hard to imagine what happened there! Had to fight to get a refund and they tried denying it. Stay far away from this place!
Jon M — Google review
Amazing service! The staff there are so great. I’ve gone here multiple times and they’ve always exceeded expectations! Thank-you Subcity Donair!
Michael W — Google review
Good donair and quite filling. Spicy fries were good (not really spicy) and the sauce was really good. It is a bit expensive (16 bucks for donair XL and fries) but you get a lot for it. Service was nice and quick. Parking is free in the complex as well.

Great service! Also, fast, affordable and great flavour with a nice variety of products. A few tables were open to eat in

Okanagan Street Food is a cozy daytime restaurant in Kelowna that offers a variety of classic breakfast and lunch dishes. It has gained popularity among travelers for serving up delicious home-cooked meals at its off-the-beaten-track location and from its mobile food truck. The menu features mouth-watering specialties like Seared Fish Taco, Candied Salmon Risotto Fritters, Huevos Rancheros, and Pulled Pork Sandwich.
Such a great meal. First time visiting with a couple buddies. It was yummy. Its such a hole in the wall back of an industrial type area place. Staff super friendly. The portions are big for your money. Worth every penny. 100% recommend and I'll be back for this one.

This place was a good find during our trip to Kelowna. Service was very good and they even kept it open after hour for serving us. Ordered a few items and taste overall was good. Baked mac n cheese with bacon bites was delicious and so was fish taco with sides of tomato soup and french fries. Salmon risotto fritters were disappointing though as they lacked flavour. Portion size was quite big and easily shareable.

Excellent flavours and wonderful portions. The best Caesar dressing I have had in BC! Great service and friendly staff. Prices are very good. Stop by for a wonderful meal.

After taking our beloved dog to the park for a long swim, we stopped at the Street food place for a bit to eat. Thank you Chris for your excellent service and of course, a big Thank You to the kitchen. Quintessentially street food, appealing, flavourful, and very tasty. We all loved it down to the very last bite.

Today was our first visit for breakfast, and it was awesome. We both had an omelet with our own choice of three fillings. They recommended the local bacon, and I'm so happy I had it. Everything was lovely, from the Cherry Hill coffee, homemade blackberry ketchup, and hash browns to die for. We sat inside, but the patio would be a lovely option for people wanting to feel the sunshine. I can't believe it took us this long to visit. We'll be back.

I’ve been working at the job site across the road for a couple of months and eaten here very frequently. The breakfast wraps and omelettes are simply fantastic, incredibly fresh and tasty ingredients. The place is so good I brought my wife at the weekend, she had the club sandwich, said it’s the best sandwich she’s ever had! Don’t listen to negative reviews because someone can’t make it during opening hours. This place is genuinely good food. They even stock frozen portions of homemade soup and stock, and homemade blackberry ketchup (it’s awesome!) prices are definitely fair for the quality of the food!

Me and the wife came to this place hungry and hormonal we ordered the Mac n cheese and a pulled pork poutine. The poutine was pretty good but uneasy about the 15$ cost, The fries were good and gravy was pretty good. I like my pork on the sweeter side but it’s still a very delicious meal! The Mac and cheese was extremely delicious! The crispy cheese on top with the thick and creamy filling on the inside is wonderful! The noodles were not over cooked!
Patrick C — Google review
Be warned they cook everything in duck fat. Without telling you first!! My hash browns. My friend and I have wanted to go there for a long time because we heard the Eggs Benny was really really good. I was really really disappointed. Eggs came super runny and I couldn’t get over the taste in the hashbrowns from the duck fat. I was very nice about it and just asked her to take the plate away. The lady at the counter, took it personally and was almost upset that I said something against the Benny. Thought I’d get a homemade brownie. So dry I couldn’t even bite it….so hard. She told me it was because it was cold. Huh?…. Got my $$ back for brownie and should have gotten it back for the Eggs benny 🤢
