Sequim in 2 days

If you only have 2 days to spend in Sequim, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Sequim sits in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, giving it unusually sunny, dry weather for western Washington and earning it the nickname “Sunny Sequim.” Visitors come for its colorful lavender farms, especially during the annual Sequim Lavender Weekend in July, and for easy access to outdoor recreation on the nearby Dungeness Spit and in Olympic National Park. The town’s compact downtown offers local shops, cafes, and galleries, while the Olympic Discovery Trail provides biking and walking routes with views of mountains and sea.
With favorites like 7 Cedars, Double Eagle Steak & Seafood, and Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Tedesco's Italian Fresh and FnChips - A Salty Girls production so you can get the best taste of Sequim while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Wildlife park
Olympic Game Farm Inc. is a long-standing game farm that offers drive-through tours, allowing visitors to observe a variety of animals including bears, big cats, llamas, elk, bison and more. The farm has been likened to a combination of a zoo and Disneyland's Autopia attraction. Visitors can purchase loaves of wheat bread to feed the animals during their slow drive through the herds.
Loved it. Feeding the animals was awesome. Just don't roll your windows all the way down. The animals will stick their entire heads inside your car to get at the bread. Some people may think it's expensive but for me it all goes to support the care, feed, and facilities. It's not cheap to feed these animals and it's not cheap to hire multiple veterinarians and games keepers. Please support their cause and enjoy the experience. 😉
Mary R — Google review
It was an amazing experience. The lion and the bears slept through our tour but the bison were quick to give you a slobbery kiss on your hand for a piece of bread. We had a really good time.
Kathleen G — Google review
Arrived just after opening time. The park is clean and we'll organized with lots of signage. Animals are healthy and hearty, ranging from young to mature. Staff was super friendly and helpful, smiles from everyone. All signs point to a well managed facility. I was pressed for time, so only made one loop through the park, but you can cycle as many times as you like. Easily exhausted 4 loaves of bread. Animal interactions were positive and well received. Seeing bears a few feet away was amazing. Will certainly visit again.
Byron S — Google review
Fun experience on a non packed weekday when school was out. Prices are steep but memories created mean more then the price tag. You must buy their bread for 5.00 a loaf. I recommend buying at least 4 and tearing into pieces to make it last. The whole drive in takes maybe 40 Minutes to an hour depending on vehicle traffic! Nice selection of animals, chill and laid back vibes. Be ready for a messy car afterwards!
Tuesdee M — Google review
We had the best time driving and feeding the animals. They were all fairly chill except the big bison. He was not chill and just kept putting his big ole head against the window. Highly recommend this!
Scarlet S — Google review
A truly wild and wonderful time! My main concern going in was that my car would become a chew toy for a large bison. Luckily, the only real damage was a generous coating of animal drool from all the enthusiastic fans who stampeded over to devour our bread. Worth every slobbery minute!
Will M — Google review
Great place to take your kids, they get to experience feeding animals and get close to them. It's not a petting farm you stayed in the car and feed the animals, the animals know you are going to feed them as soon as they see your car, they will come to the window. The downside is we didn't get a chance to see the African Lion, because he was sleeping, and we see a glimpse of the Siberia Tiger. $5 for a loaf of bread at the entrance is too much
Nazareth A — Google review
This was our first time visiting the farm, and even though we came on a weekday near closing time, we still had a great experience! There were no lines when we arrived, so it was super easy to buy our tickets and some bread to feed the animals, then head straight in. The whole tour is drive-thru style—you must stay in your car at all times and follow the marked track. Just make sure to read the signs along the way for guidance. There were so many different animals to see(that were not pictured like cows, alpacas, elks, emu, wolfs etc..)! My personal favorites were the bison and the beautiful albino peacock. It’s a really fun and relaxing place, and I imagine it would be even more enjoyable with kids. They’d love feeding the animals from the car! We'll definitely try to come earlier next time to enjoy the full experience. 🐐🦬🦚

Dungeness Recreation Area is a popular destination for camping, equestrian trails, and scenic views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The area offers standard and RV campsites with access to hiking trails and bird watching spots. Visitors can enjoy a clean beach with opportunities to spot wildlife such as bald eagles.
Cool area to look around, Canada and international water within sight range. Several big barges floated by while we were visiting. You can see down the bluffs to the beach, and some cool walking trails about the camping area. Leads to the wildlife refuge and a really cool hike out to the river of lighthouse.
James I — Google review
This is a gorgeous 5 mile in, 5 mile back hike to the Dungeness Lighthouse. The volunteers are pleasant and greet you and welcome you. There are opportunities to visit the living quarters and the lighthouse which is breathtaking. 63 feet up of beautiful 360 panoramic views of the spit with the Olympic Mountains in the background. Stunning. And on a clear day, you can view Mount Baker. Just stunning. Worth every bit of that mile. And checking tidal charts is important. Hiking in was a piece of cake as there was no winds and the tide was really low. But hiking on the way back was a xhallenge as the waves were pounding with a heavy wind gust. Felt like I was escorted to safety by these Albatros birds and seagulls. Lord God is always good and nothing better than enjoying his creation of nautre and animals especially for free.
Daniel J — Google review
Dungeness Recreation Area was absolutely beautiful. The trail to the bluff overlooks was peaceful and scenic, with views of the blue ocean stretching out endlessly. The coastline is dramatic and stunning, and the walk itself is gentle but rewarding. There were so many seagulls around, and I even spotted a Heron such a lovely surprise for a casual hike. It felt calm, quiet, and connected to nature the entire time. This is a perfect stop if you’re in the Port Angeles area and want an easy hike with gorgeous views and wildlife. I loved it and would definitely go back!

Really peaceful, serene, scenic, wooded park at this time of year. Many walking areas and breath taking views of the San Juan de Fuca strait. Restrooms at the East side parking lot and lots of parking spaces this time of year. Many smelly delights for your walking companions.
Ernie V — Google review
We really liked this campground and wished to stay a little bit longer. The showers are super large with an extra area to hang/place your clothes. Toilets are clean and plenty. The campground is situated in a beautiful forest. There are many campers but you get your individual space that is quite big. The Salish Sea view overlooking Canada was pretty breathtaking.

The most grueling but rewarding 11 mile hike I’ve been on! The sound of the rocks running along on one another when the tides come in was phenomenal. The weather was perfect but if you’re committing to the total trek across the spit to the lighthouse, dress in layers! I warmed up pretty quickly as every muscle in my body heated up from walking up and down sand, rock and drift wood. I would highly recommend this for family trips but keeping it to a quarter or maybe even a half mile walk. The further you go out, the further you must walk back :)
Christina P — Google review
Stopped here to take pictures of the sunset not the best pictures because of low clouds in the distance. We will be back to the dungeness recreation area next year and we will be camping Alot of places to tent camp and trailer camp. This is also a great place to see The sunset if it's not cloudy.
Mike R — Google review
The spit is wonderful to explore…as are the trails = 5 stars. My 3 star review is for the campground. Shortly after our arrival a maintenance person was blowing the gravel road the meanders through the campground with an obnoxiously loud gas blower…blowing nothing but dirt and sand into the air and leaving a stinky trail of gasoline smell behind him. This went on for at least an hour. Why the heck do you need to blow an already tidy gravel road at a campground?? I’d bet most campers would rather see a few leaves on the gravel road than have to listen to and smell a gas blower. So much for communing with nature in peace. The sites were raked and litter free and the restroom was clean.

Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge is a coastal reserve located on a sand spit and mudflats. It offers hiking trails with opportunities to observe seabirds, seals, and seasonal orcas. The refuge is open year-round for activities such as hiking, wildlife viewing, and photography. It serves as a stopping point for migrating shorebirds in spring and fall while providing calm waters for wintering waterfowl.
Two awesome trails. One is paved. Primitive trail not too primitive and fewer people. Spit was gorgeous. Awesome views. Beautiful rocks. Plan your trip around low tide. One volunteer we encountered was ditzy and unhelpful. Otherwise all good.

Magnificent scenery and remarkable beaches. The spit extends over five miles into the Strait of Juan de Fuca, with the New Dungeness Lighthouse situated at the end. The numerous and remarkable logs washed ashore add to the allure.
John Q — Google review
We had a wonderful day roaming the trails and enjoying the Beach views. If you're going to try to walk out to the lighthouse you have to really look at the tide tables and be ready. Good mix of trails with Beach forest and open land. Lots of parking a very friendly ranger with great information about the area. America the beautiful passes are accepted.

Excellent walk along the beach to an amazing light house , great long run, long hike, amazing experience however you do it. The light house tour is absolutely worth it. Of course, the wildlife is spectacular. Bring the binoculars!
James R — Google review
Beautiful paved walking trail. The path down to the beach is pretty steep, so keep that in mind. The "Primitive" trail is well kept, just unpaved, and slightly longer.
Kim L — Google review
Love this spectacular park! It is a walk from the parking area and a steep climb to the beach but you won’t be sorry! The views are incomparable and the walk to the lighthouse is a challenge worth taking😊

Best place for activities like hiking, photography, picnicking and camping. There is a place where you can view lighthouse very close with the help of installed binoculars. It has a beautiful, photogenic, longest natural sand spit in U.S.A.

Railroad Bridge Park, located in Sequim, is a great spot for bird-watching and nature exploration. The park offers guided bird walks on Wednesday mornings and features a revamped Dungeness nature center sponsored by the local tribe. Visitors can enjoy crossing an old railroad bridge to view the rushing waters of the Dungeness River below. Absolutely gorgeous park featuring a paved portion of the Discovery Trail across the Dungeness River as well as unpaved trails and thrilling river exploration! Endless opportunities for an adventurous day outdoors and fun for the whole family including furry friends!

Nice little bridge and trail situated close to the art center. There's also a dirt trail that takes you up to the water. Well maintained. Plenty of parking.

Very pleasant walk way. Birds, blackberries to pick, nice fall foliage this time of a year. Dungeness River Nature center with small exhibit of birds and other wildlife in area was very cute .

This is great place to spend about an hour or two in a very tranquil setting. Discovery Trail runs through it so you can walk in either direction for as far as you like or just stick around by the nature centre or wander down one of the side trails to the river. Dogs are allowed as well for an added bonus.

Seafood restaurant
Oyster bar restaurant
Salty Girls Seafood Co. is a low-key oyster and seafood eatery located in downtown Sequim, offering a casual dining experience with a variety of options such as raw bar selections, salads, grilled cheese sandwiches, and creative cocktails. The restaurant is owned by local women entrepreneurs who are dedicated to serving fresh and thoughtfully crafted dishes featuring locally sourced seafood. In addition to the dine-in experience, visitors can also explore the market area for snacks and beverages to take home.
We were just on a drive, when we discovered this restaurant via Google! We love supporting small businesses, versus the big box franchises. Needless to say, we weren't disappointed. In fact, we were extremely pleased! From the service to the food. We are self proclaimed food critics. We would put their clam chowder up against any that I've found yet! It was truly mouth watering and tasty. I also like that they are not taking a page from most seafood restaurants. They don't fry anything and it shows in the flavors. If you want fried fish and chips, pay $40 at I@#r's and get mediocre food. We live nearly 100 miles from Salty Girls, but we will definitely be back! Great job to owners and staff!

We stopped in about an hour before closing after a day of hiking. They were pretty busy and the two guys taking care of the bar and tables were also shucking oysters. They had probably 50 oysters that were ordered within that last hour on top of drinks and they did a phenomenal job. They variety of oysters were very good and unique. The chowder was also yummy! Ahi tuna tasted very fresh and was a good change of pace from a lot of the food we had been trying. Also, had the crab melt which tasted really good. Really liked the bread it was on! The drink choices were great. Dog friendly patio!!

So I found this place when on a tour bus to Hurricane Ridge. I wanted some fresh seafood & the Salty Girls did not disappoint!! I ordered the crab melt & it was delicious!! Great atmosphere inside with lots of local beers on tap. Outdoor seating is also available & dogs are welcome!! 🦪🐾

I wanted to love this place so bad and the food has looked so good from the pictures. Before we even came to sequim, my partner and I were so excited to try this place as had heard nothing but good about it and that it’s a must stop while visiting. You could either go in and order or scan a QR code and have the food brought to you which I know people sometimes don’t like, but I appreciate it! I got the crab melt while he had gotten the grilled cheese with smoked salmon. The melt had sounded so good and honestly, the crab part was good, but the cheese was hard and seemed like it had sat for awhile along with the bread too. Flavor was poor. I get it’s got salt in the name, but I figured it would taste like more than just extreme salt. Chips were alright, just your average ruffle salt chips. And his grilled cheese was basically the same story so he mostly ate just the salmon. The meat seemed fresh and was good, but the entrees were disappointing overall. Service was friendly and helpful though. For how much we spent, I wish it would’ve been better. Maybe we came at a bad time and perhaps in the future we could come back and give it another shot, but I’m not sure.
Taygen — Google review
I want to rate this place better, but I can't. Food was outstanding. We had steamed clams, oyster Rockefeller, and dungeness crab. Reasonable price at $100, with a drink. But the experience was lacking. Walked in, was told, "sit at a table, scan the bar code and order". Did so, the drinks showed up in about three minutes, and the crab bout two minutes after that. Had to ask for plates, and a second fork. Got an annoyed eye roll from the waitress at both requests. I don't feel like I should have even have asked. Another annoyance, each dish came with a single piece of bread. Any more bread costs $4 for two pieces. Seriously? If you want minimal human contact, very fast and without any dining experience, this is your place. You don't have to deal with wait staff. You're in and out in 30 minutes, and they still expect a 20% tip. This is your place. But, the food is first rate. Don't understand the business model. Note on my ratings:  2-3 stars, average quality, service and value, acceptable, but you could do better. 4 stars, above average quality, service and/or ambiance. 5 stars is reserved for exceptional quality, service and atmosphere.
Dr S — Google review
What a fun place to have our family dinner. Kids loved the tuna melt and BLTnT. Adults had the crab melt (really tasty) and fish taco. I chuckled reading other reviews about service. We loved the no fuss QR code ordering (and smiled at the user friendly description for those who are not used to it). Also in response to the other review: I thought it weird that the melts came with one piece of bread at first but then realized why they are called melts and not a sandwich. Pro tip: order clam chowder in a bowl. We then used the bread bowl to soak up all the mussels sauce. Definitely will come back next time we visit Sequim.
KC L — Google review
We ate there twice. The clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had. Finely chopped, well-seasoned. The crab melt was delicious. My husband loved his BLTnT. I’d definitely go back.

A hankerin’ for raw oysters 🦪 prompted a pit stop to this quaint local spot. My bestie and I had the BEST service, compliments of Kenny and Anissa, and bar-side dining. Do yourself a favor and get a dozen or two of the fresh oysters - this season I’d recommend the Sweet Cheeks over the Sapphire variety; the Sweet Cheeks are more robust and flavorful and, let’s be honest, we all love a hefty bivalve slidin’ down our gullets. But seriously, they’re a bit cleaner and you can better taste the flavor of the mignonettes. Speaking of which, we were told the frozen champagne mignonette was one of the most popular but do yourself a favor and hard pass on that - it’s relatively boring. The house made cocktail sauce, yamashito, and classic are MUCH more flavorful options. The house kimchi is pretty solid - a subtle flavor that isn’t over powering. My friend had the half crab 🦀 and raved about it - “mouthwatering” was the descriptor. Served with butter dipping sauce and a piece of toasted sourdough, it hit the spot. We shared the ahi poke and the dole whip for dessert. Both were a magical journey for our palates. Our experience was made better by OBSCENELY dirty vodka martinis crafted with perfection by our lovely aforementioned bar hosts. Do yourself a favor and make a stop here. You won’t be disappointed. And Kenny, if you make your way to TX, I have some pointers on what to do and where to go!

The most delicious, quaint little spot in Sequim. We started with the carpaccio which I didn't get a picture of because we got too excited and ate it. 😄 They gave us a good portion of the thinnest sliced meat with a pile of arugula and the most divine Japanese dressing. For our entrees we ordered the bolognese and tortellini. With these dishes you could breathe in the flavor. The bolognese was perfectly balanced and salted. The pasta was peeeeerfectly thick and chewy. The tortellini had a generous amount of filling and the macadamia pesto was very tasty. We added chicken which was a little dry but it made the dish very filling. We split a bottle of wine that was from New Zeland and loved it. My husband is more of a red wine guy so the fact that he liked this one says a lot! My husband ordered the creme brulee for dessert. The custard was thick with flecks of vanilla bean throughout so you know they used real vanilla beans and not just extract. My dessert was an aperol spritz which was really refreshing! The staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere felt very relaxing and upscale. We sat outside which was breezy and peaceful. Can't wait to go back and try more of the dishes we couldn't decide between!

I’ve been here a few times. The food is always good but a bit overpriced. It comes out presented nicely but isn’t hot. Seems to be prepackaged pasta, not made from scratch (if that’s important to you). We had the CALAMARI FRITTI, INSALATA DI BARBABIETOLE, TORTELLINI PIEDMONTESE, and SPAGHETTI CARBONARA BASTARDI.

Happy to give this restraunt 5 stars. So amazing the halibut special was great! Parmesian crusted halibut with mango salsa. Havn't had other dishes here, but looking at the menu its serious Italian cuisine. Prices reasonable for such. Very nice modern facility and excellent service.

Veggies were undercooked Pasta over cooked Chicken was a small half a breast Calamari was dried and rubbery This place is a joke I spent $130 for what seemed like left overs and I can get better food for cheaper at applebees

Yum. Yum triple yum. Our favorite place to go. The atmosphere is very nice & a lil more romantic setting. The garlic parm pizza dough knots are amazing! The Cesar salad comes with a anchovy on top so order without it if you don’t want to lose your appetite..learnt this the second trip around. We had the gnocchi, risotto & their hand tossed pizza. The spaghetti bolgnase was awesome. The dessert was super yummy. The tiramisu was soo fluffy & flavorful. The cocktails are pricey but worth it. Overall satisfied 2 out of 2 visits this summer. Our new favorite when we’re on the peninsula.

FnChips - A Salty Girls production is a delightful culinary gem nestled in an old Episcopal church just a block away from the original shellfish bar in downtown Sequim. While plans are underway to relocate the shellfish bar closer and introduce a music area, both spots currently offer inviting indoor and outdoor dining experiences. FnChips specializes in serving up mouthwatering fish and chips that have garnered rave reviews from visitors, including those traveling from afar like Ohio.
We ordered fish and chips and shrimp mac and cheese. The food was incredibly delicious, with just the right seasoning. The staff were very friendly, and the decor of the place was great. It was a hidden gem we discovered during our trip.

Do yourself a favor and grab lunch here. The whole joint is just cool. Visiting from Ohio and have had fish and chips all around Washington the last two weeks. This was the best … by a long shot. Flaky and delicious. Sadly, my son wasn’t very fond of the clam chowder bread bowl he ordered, so I made the single greatest fatherly sacrifice of his and my life and traded him my fish and chips. Sliding it across the table with a tear in my eye, I watched it go. A couple of bites in and he said, “I think I’m in heaven. This is amazing.” He wasn’t wrong … but he was about the chowder; it was delicious, too.

We got here early when they first opened, mid-week. Ordered the cod & chips and oysters & chips. Both were good, the oysters were huge and like others mentioned, the cod was a single big piece; since I'm usually breaking up fish pieces this wasn't an issue. The food was tasty, and we would probably be back on a return visit to the area.

Amazing staff and food! I ordered the fish (cod) and chips, and clam chowder. Probably the best meal I've had during my visit to Washington! The price is very reasonable and the serving sizes are large. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had the cod fish and chips and they were delicious. We sat outside on a lovely day. The lady and gentleman behind the counter were very nice. The fish was very moist and flavorful. I could tell they use very good ingredients. The batter was not heavy but light and crispy. I'm pretty sure the tartar that came with the meal was homemade as well. The fries were cooked and seasoned very nicely. Not salty like most places but a seasoning salt, possibly Lawry's. Very good experience and definitely going back.

The restaurant was clean and the service was great! Coconut Prawns & Fresh Halibut & Chips were wonderful. Not to impressed with the clam chowder. It was a little bit spendy for what you get. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

We stopped in last week for lunch and we're definitely going back. We ordered the cod and the halibut, halibut does run market price. So it was $25. The cod was $16. Both were well worth it, the halibut comes in one big piece which we split in half, and the cod was two pieces so we could each have one. The fries were delicious, there were a lot and next time I might ask for less fries and a little more coleslaw. The coleslaw was delicious, fresh flavorful and balanced out the fried of everything else. And of course the fish, the cod was really flavorful which is rare when I go for cod fish and chips, and the halibut was wonderfully flaky and flavorful. I would like to try the clam chowder on my next visit.

Brunt fries, burger was good. Service at window a bit rude. Be sure to order all straws, condiments, forks, spoons, or other items needed for your meal. New ...no common sense... law, says they can't offer..you have to ask. 11/7/23...different day...ultimate plate. Eggs, bacon ,sausage and pancakes, hash brown and drink. Great. Staff great.

We used go to JB fairly regularly, can't afford it now! $28 for two Supreme Croissants w/ OJ! Didn't even get our order correct. Convenient yes, but will ONLY stop when necessary now.

Just ordered food at the drive-thru with my husband and we weren't told they were cleaning their fryer and it would be a 20 minute wait until after our order was taken. We waited, paid for our order, got our beverages, then we were given our food and as we drove away we discovered there were no straws given to us to be able to drink with. They didn't enter something we ordered into their system that we ordered, but at least we werent charged for the food we didn't receive. We weren't asked about sauce options and given sauce we don't eat and didn't ask for to go with the nuggets for our child. We get home and give our child their food and it looks fine. We open up the other portion of food we ordered and there is hair in the box with our food. We spent almost $30 to have an unexpected 20 minutes of extra wait time in the heat that was informed to us after our order, our order wasn't accurately taken, our food has hair in it, and our beverages have no straws.

Unfortunately as nice as the crew may have been the lack of effort to create a memorable experience over shadows the decent food and the decent people. Lack of management/leadership is evident. It shouldn’t take 15 minutes to produce 3 tacos and a chicken sandwich with 3 customers.
James N — Google review
Absolutely the worst and weirdest fast food experience I've ever had. First, we waited extremely long in their drive-thru for our simple order after paying. Then another woman came to the window, rattled off a long long order that wasn't ours. Looked confused and I told her what we already ordered. Then she tried to charge us what we already paid. Then... we continued to wait probably because they then had to prepare our simple 2 Croissants for $6 + 2 extremely expensive hash browns. The croissants that we got didn't even come close to the ones pictured outside in their dining room widows. They looked like a regular bun but even worse. The quality looked like it was the cheapest ingredients one could use to make a fast food breakfast sandwich. Their dining room btw wasn't even open and this was a Saturday just after 11am. No doubt because of staffing issues. Drove away totally dissatisfied to say the least. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Think about it folks. Nowadays we are charged maximum price for meager offerings. Quality isn't often given anymore. We're being cheated in quality, price AND service. I personally will avoid this store from now on. That's bad management right there. I don't eat fast food that often and look at it as a treat. Not anymore.
Mr G — Google review
Drive in window never open at all the several times I've been there. Your reviews are mostly terrible over many months, and the owner says he will "look into it". He/she must never actually go to the business, since nothing changes. Not sure why it hasn't closed or sold to someone competent a long time ago. I will never bother trying to go there again. An embarrassment to Sequim.
Cheri P — Google review
Genuinely don't understand how this place is even still open at all. Every single time we've gone here, even though the hours clearly state open til 10, they've never even made it til 6:30 before they close. They are consistently randomly closed and even when they are "open" they don't even have half their menu. First time we went there they had absolutely no burgers and we're only offering chicken tenders and fries. Severely disappointing that they're causing such a waste of real estate when there could be a fast burger place around here that actually cares about operating like a real business and, I don't know, actually serves food when they say they will? Guess that's too much to ask of the sequim JitB.
Jupiter K — Google review
Pros and cons. The food at this location in sequim is good. The service is friendly. But the major cons that are turning me away are that 2 times I went here they messed up my order and even forgot to give me my sandwich. I tried calling the number to ask about it and they didn't answer nor have a voice-mail. The 3rd time I went here I asked about my missing sandwich and they couldn't replace because the manager wasn't in. I left my number and the manager did call me and offered to replace it on her schedule as long as I agree to follow policy and call them within 24 hrs....I. they don't answer the phone or have voice-mail and have you seen the cost of gas. I also have a job and I can't just be there to get there mistake fixed on there time schedule. As I stated, the food is good and they are friendly. But they could have offered me a coupon code to redeem my missing sandwich at my own convenience. Another idea is to have experienced employees train newcomers until they are operating as expected to prevent accidental theft which is what this is. One last comment..... who orders a drink and doesn't expect a straw to drink it.

Double Eagle Steak & Seafood is a high-end restaurant that serves delicious steak and seafood dishes. The servers are friendly and efficient, making the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. The decor is chic and modern, with excellent views of the golf course. Prices are mid to high, making it a great option for those who want quality food in an upmarket setting.
We were tired from a long day of travel, our host at the hotel recommended we give the "golf course" a try, so we did. We had a drink and dinner. My drink was a dirty martini, it was dirty and tasty, well done! I had the scallops, the risotto was so delicious, I wanted more. Barring that, one more scallop would have been perfection. That's a tiny nitpick, it was a decent amount, I just wanted one more taste of everything. My apologies for the bite taken before the picture, I couldn't resist! My husband had the halibut and said it was delicious too, and plenty filling. We sat in the bar, seated ourselves by the window, it's a pretty view of the golf course and driving range.

Food was bland and poorly prepared, service was kind but absurdly slow and atmosphere was nothing special. Similar to an upscale Dennys decor. Soup took more than an hour, 3 med-rare steaks came out WELL done and were def not ribeyes, salmon was dry and bland. Save your money and go somewhere else. 5 people nearly $400, one entree each and one drink each and we shared 2 appetizers. Not about the money, in fact we laughed it off. Nor did we complain but will never go back. Spend your hard earned cash somewhere else.

Where do I begin… this is one of the lowest rated steakhouses and fine dining establishments I have ever intentionally gone to. 4.3 stars out of hundreds of reviews, and now I know why. You drive up to this beautifully landscaped modern building with plenty of parking. Double doors into the reception area. Me, my wife and 6 other people waited at the reception desk for 10 minutes while the only person manning the desk (for two restaurants) not only continued to talk on the phone, but a few minutes after she hung up, she continued to write notes before helping ANY of the people who were waiting for her. When we were finally seated, we were greeted by a very nice female server with blue hair. And since today was “National Pride Day” she was sporting large rainbow heart earrings. I truly don’t care about anyone’s sexuality or support thereof, but is it important for someone at work to make this statement, while at work? We ordered an appetizer and it came to the table differently than described by the menu. The menu described it as fried potatoes. What we got was a baked potato smashed with a fork with cheeses, bacon, chives, sour cream and salsa. We ate it without complaining as it looked and smelled great and we were starved. My wife and I ordered ice tea with sweetener, and we had to ask for it 3 times before it found its way to the table. I ordered a mixed salad with kale green goddess dressed salad. I ordered the sirloin steak “medium rare”. The salad came with 90% kale, a few chunks of iceberg lettuce and a cup of cold green peas. The steak was served to me cold rare in the middle of a thin steak. Shocking. This is not what I ordered and I took a photo for you to see below. I sent the steak back to be cooked to medium rare. My wife ordered the chicken Marsala and after she took a bite, the sauce was so sweet that she left all the sauce she was able to remove from her plate. These three items with two ice teas came today $71.50. We told the server how disappointed we were with the food and the service, and she said she would discount my meal. When she returned, the bill showed a $7 discount. This place has management issues, personnel issues, and the food (new menu) is severely misrepresented on the menu, to what shows up on the table. The cook (won’t call them a chef), the receptionist and the manager need to be replaced before I would EVER consider dining here again or recommending this restaurant to anyone I cared about. Avoid this place like the plague. We will.

First time here since tribe been ruining the show. You would think for 55 bucks you'd get a salad and stick of bread. Had to send a search party out to find the vegetables. Steak was meteorite and definitely wasn't med rare. Spent 200 after a tip. Won't be going back. I should have read the reviews I'd think they would fix things after everyone complains. But they make so much money off everything the tribe does they don't care.

Went here based on reviews. The menu sounds great. I was going to order a steak , glad I didn’t. Jeremy was nice but scattered. He took 15 minutes to bring a table near us their Pepsi. The females on staff didn’t seem to be helping. The mashed potatoes were cold and lumpy like they were out of the fridge and microwaved improperly. The chicken Marsala had decent flavor but it was a minuscule slice of chicken breast maybe $2 worth of chicken. The seasonal veggies were two broccoli florets and maybe five green beans. I wanted to love it but I didn’t. The hostess also took 8 minutes to appear and there was nobody else waiting.

We chose Double Eagle for my wife’s birthday dinner while staying at Discovery Bay. Our server was Jen whose personality and attitude were five stars. That said, was there seemed to be a shortage of servers so getting served and closing our tab took longer than they should have. My wife was looking forward to a whole crab but it was so small it was barely the size of a half crab. At this restaurant at this location that it not acceptable for the price. She did not want to send it back and patiently ate it saying it was good but not very sweet. My halibut was quite good other than a few bones in the first piece. It was not worth twice what my friend paid for cod. The fries and coleslaw were great and the lemon and chocolate mousse were delicious.

I have always had fabulous service and great food here. I recently developed an allergy and didn’t think to tell the waitress. The food came out with the allergen in it. When I asked the waitress about it, she said I should have told her. I apologized and said yes it’s my fault. My husband said he would pay for a new entree. The waitress at least 4 times stated I should have told her. I apologized the first two times, the third time I apologized and said the meal did not look like it would have the allergen when looking at the menu. The 4th time she said I should have told her, I said it was a new allergy and I didn’t think to tell her. At no time did I ask for a free replacement or insinuate it was her fault. I felt humiliated. The replacement meal came out uncooked with what seemed like 10 times as much spice as what I have experienced previous times I have been there. It burned going down. I didn’t eat it. I would absolutely eat at this restaurant again but I would never have that waitress serve me ever again.

The food is substandard and the prices are way higher. I ordered a Crab & shrimp Louie that cost $38..So I expected a good amount of large shrimp and crab meat for that price. It came with about 6 tiny bay shrimp and a tblsp of thin crab! The rest was all lettuce greens and small hard boiled egg. Bland tasting... What a rip off! I will never go to The Cedars at Dungeness in Sequim again.

For day 2, we recommend exploring the south side side of town. Start the day off with 7 Cedars, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Sequim Bay State Park. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

The casino at 7 Cedars features slot machines and table games as well as the top-rated Cedars golf course, Italian and American eateries and live entertainment. It is situated just east of Sequim in Blyn, a popular destination with plenty to offer its guests.
Nice smaller casino with great rooms and amazing restaurants. Had the fish and chips Sunday special and was very happy surprised for $12. Casino was smaller but has lots of newer slots that the bigger houses have, and a ton of older ones I hadn't seen in over a decade years, it was great. Location is literally right off the main road and just a short distance from the market. Would definitely go back if I'm ever in over in this area again!

The good: 7 Cedars is a beautiful property—modern, clean, and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the outdoor live music on Saturday night. What a fun way to let guests relax and unwind! The hotel room itself was spotless, and I appreciated thoughtful touches like the nightlight in the bathroom. Where it fell short: The details matter, and that’s where things slipped. At dinner Friday night, there were plenty of staff, but service was inattentive. It took 20 minutes to learn the wine we ordered was unavailable, and we had to play a guessing game with the menu since many wines listed weren’t actually in stock. The food itself was fine, but somewhat bland—and after two tries, we found better dining elsewhere in Sequim. Another surprise: the in-room shampoo/conditioner was so harsh it left my hair brittle—definitely bring your own products if you stay. The website had promised Friday night live music, but it was cancelled without notice. And while Saturday’s music event was excellent, the roof on the patio kept opening and closing, leaving many of us chilly. Bottom line: Gorgeous venue with fun entertainment, but the execution in food, service, and guest details needs refining. With more attention to the small things, 7 Cedars could match its impressive first impression.

Great hotel, rooms are very nice. We had a 2 queen room. Nice bathroom, shower does not have the best water pressure. Plenty of charging ports through out. Little extras like built in reading lights, nice comfy robes. Walls are pretty thin, I think that would be my only complaint, you hear the people above you pretty good. The casino is nice, clean smoking and non smoking. Lots of adminties. I havent seen so many for this size casino before. Plenty of places to eat, we tried 3 and all had good affordable food. We will definitely return. The tribal community is beautiful as well.

This is truly a 5 star hotel! The staff was very friendly and professional, the rooms are amazing, and the restaurants are very good. The casino is clean and spacious with good slot machines and table games. Smoking casino area is separate from non smoking. Only drawback is the lack of a pool and hot tub. I would definitely stay there again!

I didn't spend the night but I had an incredible meal there. The salmon was amazing! Fresh vegetables on the side, fresh salad then cheesecake for dessert
Johanna P — Google review
I love coming to 7 Cedars. The thing I wish they would really do though is to put a wall between the smoking section of the casino and the restaurants. You can smell cigarettes there and your clothes are permeated with it and you are sick from all the cigarettes if you even go in that room where everyone smokes. That would be fine but they need to put a partition in, like what's the point really to have a smoking and no smoking section if you can smell the smoke in the no smoking section. I would spend a lot more time here if they would fix that cuz everything else is fantastic. But I'm not going to give them negativity on that as far as stars because well maybe I should, LOL

This is a beautiful place to stay. The ambiance and cleanliness are impeccable. The staff are warm and friendly, the entertainment on the patio and inside on the stage is lively and talented, and the gaming is always fun. Grab a date or a bestie and get away for a few days!

Sequim Bay State Park is an oceanfront park offering year-round camping, docks, hiking trails, a baseball field, and a basketball court. It's a prime location to access the Olympic Discovery Trail, a 130-mile bike path stretching from Port Townsend to the Pacific Ocean. The park features well-groomed hiking and biking trails with stunning views. Campers can enjoy clean facilities including hot showers with great water pressure at no extra cost.
A beauty! Easy access to Olympic Discovery trail. We biked for miles. The park has nice size campsites and clean restrooms amid hot showers.

Visited Sequim bay state park during 4th July long weekends for camping. Camp is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. It has really beautiful views and a nice trail for hiking. The restrooms are super clean and had a separate stall for shower with hot water. Overall I am very happy with my experience and probably will visit in the future.
Khushboo C — Google review
A very nice state park. Campsites are taken care of and look great. I will say there is one small detractor - the proximity to Hwy 101.... hearing cars zoom past at 11:30 at night on their way home from the casino is fun. I enjoyed my evening there and will likely return... also, it was cool getting scolded by three different campers about having a fire in my propane fire pit. Instead of hating, bring over some beers and let's enjoy some gas powered camp fire!

Sequim Bay state park is a nice, safe, clean, and beautiful campground. Just be aware that it is very close to the road and can be noisy. If you are looking for a place near Sequim or the casino, this is the place. It was also very family-friendly and rhe camp site was clean and comfortable.
Matthew M — Google review
I appreciate having the park right along the Olympic Discovery Trail. I had just biked in and even though my group had reserved spots there are biker/hiker sites right next to the trail. There are fire pits and tables at each campsite, however when I went there was a burn ban in effect. The trees are close enough for hammock sleeping as well. The only negative for others would be the road noisy as the Olympic highway runs right next to the park and so you'll want to have ear plugs or be blessed with the ability to sleep through road noisy.

Perfect place to escape from any city, town or village. Surrounded by thousands of trees and wildlife. Full rv hook-ups only otherwise there are a lot of beautiful campsites with unheard of views of Canada and the majestic Straight of Juan De Fuca and Mt. Baker. Possibly the best campground anywhere . Bathrooms are decent and showers are free with plenty of hot water. Bring a mat for your feet in showers. There is also a tunnel that leads to the other side of highway 101 where there is a baseball field.

One of the best camp outs we have had. The park was quiet. Everyone was friendly. There is so much exploring to do in this area. Bring your bicycle and hit the paths. There's a beach right at the park. There's places to swimming the glacier blue water in all directions within 45 minutes. Shower is free and it gets hot. My family had an excellent trip.

This place was amazing!! Yes the prices are a bit higher but worth every penny!! My server Jordan was so respectful, patient with my numerous substitutions, and had a genuine smile the entire time! The Kobe burger was amazing. Cooked perfectly! Served with thick cut fries nice a crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The house ranch was very good too!! It's really hard to find such excellent service in this area and I for one can handle food that isn't perfect if it's served with a great attitude! Luckily for me, the food was good too!! And the beautiful artwork was so cool!! Thank you Jordan you rocked!

We stayed at the 7 Cedars hotel, and this is inside the property. We didn't want to go out for dinner on a rainy day, so we went there. The ambiance was satisfactory and our server was attentive. We ordered a couple of entrée which were tasty and portions were enormous but it was expensive. The food was good but the hotels rooms don't have microwave so we had to throw away the leftovers.

The building (Casino/Hotel) is meant to attract your attention, especially in the small city of Sequim. The structural design, the totems, and the Native American art will blow you away. This was our first night in Sequim and the “wow” of the building did not translate into the food. I ask the server which of a few entrees I was interested in, to recommend one. She recommended a pasta and sausage dish. Really nothing special, pasta was slightly overcooked, and it seemed like I got a ton of ground, under seasoned pork. We had been driving all day, so we both ate the majority of our food, even though it all fell into the category of “Meh”. The server did her job, but she never seemed happy about it. Tip - if you’re not starving like we were, stop at the casino customer service desk and sign up for their casino rewards card, as it will give you at least 25% off the menu prices for their entrees. I don’t mind paying for quality food, but the casino rewards price is certainly more commensurate with the quality of the food here. In Sequim, this is not a bad place to eat. Especially if you have a couple of adult beverages in you already. If I’m ever in Sequim again, I would consider eating here again as we loved the building, art, and all the free parking.

Stopped by because I thought I would have a nice steak lunch for my birthday. We were seated immediately and it wasn't busy at all. We were waited on in a few minutes and placed our order. The atmosphere is nice and we smelled no cigarette smoke at all. It took a very long time to get our food and my wife's entree was wrong. We had trouble getting the server's attention because he walked away so quickly, so my wife had to stand up and walk it over to him. He explained he accidentally hit the wrong button and apologized. He said he would get the correct order in immediately. No worries, mistakes happen. As she was talking to him I noticed my steak came with a pat of garlic butter that wasn't really melting. I tried rubbing it on the steak but still not melting, so I cut in to the steak and took a bite, it was lukewarm. The potato was also not really hot enough to melt the butter. I guess mine was done quicker than hers and sat waiting too long. It took some time to get our server's attention after realizing this because he left the table without asking me to check if the steak was cooked properly. It was much more on the rarer side of medium rare and I asked for medium. At this point my wife is too upset to eat and I am frustrated as well. We explained the situation to our server after again waiting for some time and he said not worry about paying for anything because he knew we had been waiting so long, so at this point we just got up and left. We stop here often and normally just get something from Napolis or the newer grab and go counter. This was a very disappointing experience and not a happy birthday lunch. The steak looked great and it probably did taste great when it was hot. The salmon entree they brought her also looked great but she ordered the halibut oscar and will not eat cooked salmon. We will probably give them another chance, but not anytime soon.

Both our meals were very good and portions were generous. We ordered the rack of ribs and cheddar biscuit chicken pot pie. Back again and the meal and service was excellent. Would recommend the salmon cake BLT sandwich and the prime rib dip. Discount given with 7Cedars players card makes eating here a really good value too.

This was the first meal we had getting into Sequim and this is was great. Me and my sister are vegetarians and they were super sweet in customising almost all items to fit what we needed Food : The food was good and quite tasty. Loved the salad pasta we got! Service : Super sweet and quite quick. Very accommodating and courteous. Atmosphere : Not the best atmosphere considering the noise and overall vibe which gets carried on from the casino but good but the food was nice

We were treated to lunch here yesterday by our friends who live in Sequim and frequent this restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress Natalie came right over and was helpful and attentive throughout the entire meal. I had a cup of clam chowder and salmon cakes. I’d recommend both of them. The clams in the chowder were plentiful and it was just the right temperature and consistency. Natalie had recommended the salmon cakes when I asked her a couple of questions and she was right. All of the flavors in the aïoli worked together really well. I would definitely order that again. The only criticism I would have would be my husband’s oysters had a little bit too much breading and pretty small oysters. They had good flavor though. Then we shared a piece of coconut cream pie and it was delicious. Great atmosphere and you can tell that they recently updated everything. It was a great experience and I would recommend this restaurant.
