Theme Parks
Santa's Wonderland is a festive amusement park in College Station, Texas that captures the spirit of Christmas from November to January. The holiday fair offers Christmas-themed food and snacks, while visitors can enjoy communal hayrides around the village and meet Santa himself. The park features brilliant light displays on the Trail of Lights, as well as activities such as toboggan and train rides, live music performances, and a petting zoo. To avoid crowds, it's recommended to visit on a weeknight.
A Magical Texas Christmas Experience... Santa's Wonderland in College Station exceeded our expectations! It's a truly magical experience for all ages, from toddlers to adults. We visited on a Friday afternoon around 4 PM and found it to be quite busy as the evening approached. Highlights: * Meticulous Design: The park is beautifully designed with a unique blend of Christmas charm and Texas flair. * Diverse Activities: There's something for everyone, including an ice skating rink, snowball fights for kids, a fantastic kids' park, hayrides, and outdoor fire pits. * Delicious Food: The food options were diverse and delicious, catering to various tastes. * Family Fun: We spent over 5-6 hours at the park and still couldn't experience everything. Tips: * Advance Parking: Purchase parking tickets online in advance to save time and avoid potential delays. * Weekday Visits: Weekdays are generally less crowded, allowing for a more relaxed experience. Overall: Santa's Wonderland is a must-visit for anyone looking for a festive and fun-filled Christmas experience. It's a fantastic place to create lasting memories with family and friends. Highly Recommended! I hope this review is helpful!

My whole family went. A total of 9 of us. For our first time doing a family trip it was nice but would I be back? Honestly no. The lines are entirely to long and if you truly waited for them all you would never even get through the whole park let alone half the park within the time frame they are open. It is WAY overcrowded. We end buying the speed passes for the kids because they would have never gotten on anything if they didn’t. The lights are beautiful and we bought funnel cakes but kept it all minimal due to prices on everything. For the amount spent just to go and actually ride I think it is all a bit much. We don’t have a desire to go back.
Jazlynn H — Google review
Pretty crowded but worth it. Must try the hay ride and tubing ride. They had a snow playground for free and the kids loved it. The funnel cake tasted excellent. Live music in front of the campfire was relaxing and interesting for the kids. For the Parking ticket buy ahead but you might need to walk a bit to enter the event. Staff guided us to get a spot to park. Friendly customer service kudos to their work.

This is our third year coming in a row and it’s our favorite thing! My teenage daughter and I look forward to it! Going on thanksgiving is great for us as it’s not as crowded. We buy the fast pass every year and it saves so much time. It’s totally worth it! Lights are always wonderful, snow ball fights, ice skating and the workers are always so pleasant. . Like we were lost one year and asked someone for help and he didn’t just point to the direction, he walked us over himself. We were so grateful. Only minor complaint I have from this year was the pictures you can buy on the snowball are taken just a few seconds too early.. when you buy the print they frame it but the pictures aren’t within the frame. So you pay 16$ for a picture that just looks really odd. But a small thing in comparison to all the good.
Alisa M — Google review
As a mom of a busy toddler, I can't say enough about our magical experience at Santa's Wonderland, a Christmas light-themed park! From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a winter wonderland. The twinkling lights were absolutely stunning, and my little one was mesmerized by all the colors and displays. The hayride was a huge hit! (Be prepared to be in line for about an hour if you go within the first two hours of arrival from opening). My toddler loved bouncing along while spotting reindeer and Christmas characters hidden in the light displays. The cheerful holiday music playing along the way added an extra festive touch that kept us both smiling. In total, it was about a 20 minute ride. The snow hills were absolute toddler paradise! My little one giggled endlessly--the hill size was just right for her to feel adventurous but still safe. I loved how they had smaller hills for younger kids—it made the experience so inclusive. While the ice skating rink looked like a lot of fun, my toddler was just a bit too small for it. But honestly, we didn’t feel like we missed out because there was so much else to do. We ended the evening near the bonfire, watching the band, which was the perfect way to wind down with some cocoa and coffee. This was the kind of experience that creates lasting memories for families, and I can’t wait to go back next year when my toddler’s big enough to try ice skating! Highly recommend this for anyone with young kids looking for a magical holiday outing.

We come here every year and it's always been great. I would recommend parking in Rudolph so you're closer and the enterance is right in the middle. This year we did different parking and regretted it. We also showed up at 2 since that's when our parking was and didn't realize the place didn't open til 3 so we got stuck standing at the gate for an hour. The kids enjoy playing in the snow and ice skating. I will say however, I wish they'd flatten the snow out more instead of it being a mountain like it is. It makes it harder for the smaller kids to get up there to play and you not have to worry about them rolling back down. The lights were pretty and the kids enjoyed the bounce platforms.
Heather J — Google review
This place is beautiful. Most staff is friendly and welcoming plus place is very well kept. However, the food here, is priced pretty good like every other festival type of place. But not good for the price. We ordered a burger at one of their burger spots. The meat was the only warm thing and barely. Cheese wasn’t even melted bun was stiff and cold. Not good. The bbq spot, food is good. Not delicious but not bad. Another thing, the cold is understandable, you’re out in the woods temperature is obviously going to be lower than Houston (where we are from) but for the price, some heaters on the pathways or some more lit fires around would make it more comfortable for people especially the little ones. Is it really just one hay ride? The lines are flat out outrageous.
Jessica F — Google review
Great experience. Glad I decided to take that drive from Houston. Had our first hayride and it provided some great views. If we had it, I would’ve definitely paid for the express pass for the hayride. Riding the tube down the slope was cool; my 4 year old was able to tune down by herself. The kids really enjoyed the area with the snow where they were able to have snowball fights. The only bad part was the long line to get in the parking lot and the long walk from/to our parking spot.

Specialty Museums
The Museum of the American GI, located in College Station, is a military history museum dedicated to honoring and educating visitors about the service of men and women in the United States military. Opened in 2002, it features an extensive collection of military memorabilia including restored tanks, boats, and planes from World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War.
Very cool place. Very nice people. ALOT of well preserved history. Vehicles, tanks, weapons, uniforms, medals, dog tags, photographs, etc. So much cool stuff. I have passed by this place several times over the last 10years and FINALLY made the right decision to stop by. I'm so glad I did. The only thing that would of made this trip better, is if my family was with me. So much history from WW1, WW2, KOREAN WAR, VIETNAM, etc. There is also a section dedicated to Vietnam veterans and POW's/ MIA's. I went on a workday, after a work trip, so there weren't many people there. I was able to get in, have the whole place to my self, take my time, take pictures and get out. They had a bunch of magazines donated to the store, and I was able to purchase a bunch of them. There were hardback books there also, but they weren't ready for sale yet. The lady working the front desk also mentioned that in March, they would be doing a reenactment. They would be bringing out vehicles/tanks and cannons. Actually driving them around and shooting the cannons. I don't remember exactly, but I believe the entry fee was $14. Well worth it.! I hope to return in the near future with my family, so theu too, can enjoy the preserved history.

I stop by today with a mission. Thinking about donating some of my fathers W W 2 items. I'm glad I did. Very impressed with the equipment they have. I will stop by again.

Pros: lots of interesting artifacts from various eras, helpful & knowledgeable staff/volunteers, great gift shop, plenty of parking Cons: none Very cool little museum if you're interested in anything military. They have fun events every so often too. It's not tiny, but it's not enormous either, so you'll probably spend 1.5-2hrs here if you want to really learn about everything on display.
Catsur N — Google review
Definitely recommend visiting the Museum of the American GI if in Bryan/College Station! They have a large collection of restored and functional military vehicles, with which they do demonstrations and reenactments a few times a year. There are many military uniforms from different eras, often from local veterans, and a great amount of women’s uniforms as well. I especially enjoyed the military nurse exhibit and the museum’s huge collection of wartime posters. Parking was ample when we visited on a Saturday. It took us a little over an hour to go through the museum. There are several ticket discounts available, including for active military and veterans, seniors, and students.
Jess W — Google review
This is a wonderfully & thoughtfully put-together museum! Definitely worth the trip. Such a large selection of military uniforms - one of the biggest collections we've seen. The items on display are not just generally collected items, like from all over the world ... it is also about Texas and A&M - recognizing Texas & local heros & displaying their treasured keepsakes. They have a staff member that is exceptional and I'd like to give a shout-out to Annie ... she made the experience unforgettable! She's so sweet and friendly and she likes her tummy rubbed & will let you know that you are NOT finished. She's the museum's Corgi and she is such a sweet addition! ♥️ The other (human) staff members are all wonderful as well, of course! It is extremely wheelchair & walker friendly - very spacious and the elevator is right when you walk in (so there's no searching for it). There's plenty of parking as well.

Great place to go to on the weekend! They all kinds of restored army gear, not limited to things like the MA01 Abrams tank used in WWII, an ontos gun carriage, and a bell AH-1 cobra helicopter.(apologies if i butchered the terminology) i just went there with some friends and it was a cool Saturday, to say the least. And the cool thing is that all the machines function- they get them out every niceness and ride them around and shoot the cannons. Would taste higher than 5 if I could.

Attended the living history weekend today and it did not disappoint! Well organized, great collection of vehicles and the skirmish/battles were amazing.

What a hidden treasure! For years I have passed by this place on my trips between Houston and College Station and never thought to stop and visit. Finally decided to stop one day and check it out and it really is a neat place and so close to see so many different historical Treasures. We ended up finding the date of their living history weekend and attended and it was so much fun. Highly recommend this as a family outing look on their website for dates for their historical weekend which should definitely not be missed. The attached photos are a few from the historical weekend.

Park
Lick Creek Park, the crown jewel of College Station's park system, spans 516 acres and is a premier nature preserve. It boasts diverse native plant and animal species, making it an ideal spot for outdoor activities like bird watching, horseback riding, and nature study. The park features well-maintained nature trails suitable for walking year-round and offers opportunities for picnics and family photoshoots in the picturesque Fall and Spring seasons.
Great trail system, best experienced in spring/summer, some flooded trails during rainy season, quite a few fun Geocaches dotted around the park as well. Pretty flat trails unfortunately, I'd say the smaller trails are much more enjoyable than the larger and more travelled ones. Wildlife is a pretty common sighting around here, friendly deer, rabbits, snakes, interesting insects, and lots of cool birds. Some super cool points of interests can be found in different spots off the trails, some much more difficult to access than others. Be sure to pick up after yourself.
Ducklai — Google review
A semi-greenery covered and open area trail experience that has multiple loops that go into itself and isn't easy to lose yourself into. Nothing but flat dirt or rock covered trail paths to walk on, and there was one path trail called Yaupon Loop that did have more sand to walk upon. Overall, it's the best trail you're going to get out here in the area that isn't a local park experience.
Raiya S — Google review
Nice little park of old growth woods. Paths are well marked. Nature center has native plants around it that are labeled.
Chris P — Google review
It was fun to visit, the staff were very friendly and answered all of my son's and my questions thoroughly. I think the guy we spoke to was named Eugene and he had a broad variety of knowledge on the area. We explored one of the shorter trails but will be back to check out the others. Easy mile long walk.
Andrew C — Google review
This park is a great getaway from the city. Very peaceful and the park is different throughout. The paths are well kept, some are paved with gravel and some with not. Some trails can be a challenge depending on weather but you can bike ride and horse ride thesentrails too.
John F — Google review
I’d give zero stars if possible. This park has the only ONLY off leash dog trail (trail not park) in the city. The on leash entry to the park looks nice and well maintained but, go a short walk past the visitor center and the trail changes. The trail is rough and rutted. The off leash part is a full half mile on leash walk before getting to the off leash section. The off leash section started off gravel but the degraded into an overgrown muddy walk. The mud became so bad that I had to turn around and leave the red clay swamp. If this is the best the city leadership can do for providing a long distance dog trail, WE NEED BETTER CITY LEADERSHIP.

I love Stephen C. Beachy Central Park! It's such a clean and welcoming place, perfect for spending time with my family. I enjoy the walking trails, playgrounds, and sports facilities, and the holiday light display is magical. It's always a great spot for outdoor fun and relaxation!

A lot of facilities at this park, but I'm only able to speak to the kids playground and splash pad. Very nicely done and shaded, with A/C bathrooms and a covered pavilion. Really appreciate 🔒that the entire area is fenced 6' high, with double lock gates to enter/exit. Ideal for kids 2-10 y.o.
Andrew E — Google review
Nice place to bring the family. Lots of outdoor activities. They have a splash pass area that is enclosed, walking trails, and areas to fish. There are picnic areas and baseball fields as well.
Christine A — Google review
Great gated and fenced splash pad with 3 separate but close playgrounds (within fence) and heated and cooled restrooms. Adequate seating for parents while kids play in splash area and picnic tables for taking breaks. Outside the fenced area is a nice walking path that includes a pond with ducks and geese.
Perdita S — Google review
Great time for the kids. The splash pad is great for all ages to cool off during the summer. Restrooms are climate controlled and decently clean.
Callie A — Google review
A very nice experience! Went to the Christmas light show and it was very adorable. The park is a very nice size! The lights were really nice and the fact it was free makes it better. I love how large the bathrooms are and they're pretty clean. The only issue is the light trail towards the back, there wasn't really a very good indication of where it began because the lights starting it were off. It's not a big deal or anything but it might cause someone to trip because it was dark or the start was. But that doesn't really matter for us because we went in through the background entrance to the snowflake trail haha We enjoyed our time spending in the park looking at the lights.
Coushatta R — Google review
Awesome park with lots to do in every season. We particularly enjoy the lights and activities for kids during the Christmas season. The City has done a great job of creating a fun family place to visit during the holidays. Altogether a fun place to take the kids. Recommend it.

Kyle Field, located on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, is a must-visit for any Aggie fan. This historic football stadium, completed in 1927 with a capacity of over 100,000 spectators, is one of the largest in the United States. On game days, it's an electric atmosphere as fans gather to tailgate and cheer on the Texas A&M Aggies.
First time being there in Texas A&M & i was very impressed on how big and huge Kyle Field after its renovation remodeling from the old one that they had 13 years ago. It looks and it feels brand new especially the architecture of the design for this football field, especially, it brings a passion. Enjoy for the Aggies fans, during game day.

Kyle Field, located in College Station, Texas, is one of the most iconic and electrifying stadiums in college football. Home to the Texas A&M Aggies, it boasts a capacity of over 100,000 fans, making it one of the largest stadiums in the country. The atmosphere is unmatched—when the “12th Man” stands and the crowd sways during the Aggie War Hymn, the energy is something every football fan should experience at least once. The facilities are modern and impressive, with great views from nearly every seat, and the game-day traditions create a sense of pride and community that’s truly special. Whether you’re an Aggie or just a visitor, Kyle Field delivers an unforgettable experience filled with spirit, passion, and Texas pride.

First timer and had a great experience. We shuttled from the Oak Mall and it was about a 15 minutes ride. All lines went fast. We had 400 level seats under the awning, but it was still a great view out of the sun. Food prices are cray. Eat before you go.

Absolutely incredible experience at Kyle Field! The energy is unmatched, you can truly feel the pride and tradition of Texas A&M everywhere. The “12th Man” spirit gives you goosebumps, and the crowd involvement is unlike any other stadium. The facility is clean, modern, and beautifully designed, with great views from nearly every seat. Parking can get hectic on game days, but it’s all worth it once you’re inside. Definitely a must-visit for any college football fan!

They charged me wrong and I didn’t say anything but they didn’t give me my burger plain AND it had hair in it. I returned it asked for a remake. And they gave me the wrong burger. I went back to get the right burger and I wasn’t gonna return the wrong burger they had given me. I ordered a triple cheeseburger and they had given me a double. They had the audacity to give me a SINGULAR PATTY to add to the triple cheeseburger. LIKE WHAT?! Thats just insane. I returned the double and they just put that cold patty they offered me inside. Ridiculous.

This McDonalds had one person in lobby and the place was a mess! Tables filthy, trash overflowing @3:30pm, floors filthy....all while three associates, along with their manager, stood behind the counter chatting away. Don’t come here if you want a sanitary place to eat.

Giving 2 stars because the food is always decent but the staff is horrible. The past few times I’ve gone I’ve had bad experiences with rude employees. I’m not a Karen and I don’t expect much from McDonald’s, but these employees are the lowest of low…. There’s only ONE lady that’s always nice. She has red hair and a southern accent. I wish I knew her name so I could shout her out, she’s great! The others… not so much. Just make the drive to the one on university. It’s SO much better.

I’m truly surprised this place has more than 3 stars. You could get better service at a shady gas station at 3 am in downtown atlanta than this McDonald’s. I can honestly say I have never had a pleasant experience here. It is always dirty, the staff is not only rude but also incompetent. It is surprising if your order is correct. There isn’t any kind of customer service here.

Wendy's is a quick-service burger establishment that offers accompaniments like chili and baked potatoes. While the quality of their food might not be exceptional, their desserts are worth a visit. The ice creams were greatly enjoyed by the entire family, prompting a 5-star rating. The small blizzard was particularly satisfying with no issues raised. This positive experience guarantees a return for dessert on future impromptu outings.
I don't order food from here but I'd imagine it's not that great. I only go to Wendy's for the dessert. So for that, I will rate it 5 stars! My family and I all thoroughly enjoyed our ice creams. I got the small blizzard and had zero complaints. We should be back for dessert on another spontaneous night!

Unfortunately, we ended up being the actual misfortunate ones. Our order didn’t come with any of the special Wednesday-themed items shown in the promo — no spooky packaging, no collectible items, just the “mystery dips.” The bag was ripped when we received it, and to make things worse, our food was cold and tasted stale. We had to ask multiple employees about the themed spoons for the Dark Cherry Frosty, and no one had any idea what we were talking about. It honestly felt like we got a regular order thrown together without care. If you’re going to market a special, limited-time collab like this, it should actually resemble what’s being advertised — especially when people are coming specifically for the themed experience. Very disappointing, and not at all what we expected.

Wendy’s needs to teach their cashiers better manners. We asked for the new Fuego meal and the cashier stated the fries weren’t available. We attempted to ask questions in order to find substitutions but he wouldn’t answer so we left.

I’m just saying without fail if that one lady that doesn’t speak english is working the speaker taking your order… it’s gonna be wrong😂. whether it’s the sauce or the drink or the entire order there will be something and it’s like 100000 times in a row now. Just check your bag before you leave…

I love Wendy’s… but this location was terrible. I had to wait outside the drive-through for 10 minutes for my food, they didn’t give me a straw for my drink, and they barely spoke any English. The guy who brought me my food didn’t even know what I ordered.

Ac is broken has been for over 6 months. And when you go through the drive through they hand you your frostys then pull you up for 10 minutes to wait on your food so they all melt. So annoying!

Italian restaurant
Luigi's Patio Ristorante is a charming gem in College Station that transports you straight to an Italian piazza the moment you step inside. This family-owned establishment specializes in traditional Italian cuisine, offering a delightful array of dishes from paninis and seafood to pasta and pizzas, all crafted from scratch with fresh ingredients. The ambiance is enhanced by live music on most nights, creating an inviting atmosphere for diners seeking both elegance and casual comfort.
I highly recommend stopping by. The decor was lovely, service was fantastic and friendly, and the food was amazing. I had the gnocchi with pesto and I loved it. I ordered the chocolate tiramisu and it was delicious, bold coffee taste without being too see. There was also a live piano player who was top notch and really added to the ambiance.
Jordan D — Google review
The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was very nice. We had a very good waiter take care of us and our experience all around was great. The food was good but I felt that the pizza had a little too much cheese and hardly any sauce. My wife's chicken was a little overcooked on the crust but she enjoyed it for the most part. The tiramisu and espresso though were divine and I will always say please try to save enough room to have that at the end of a meal. That will always be something that I will be expecting to have every time I come here from now on.

Luigi's is a very nice, intimate dining experience. The clientele tends to be older because the prices are a little higher than many restaurants in the area, but for a special occasion, it's very nice. The food is outstanding. Our server sang us the daily special...it was sweet...her name was Sadie...she was outstanding;-)

Tried italian food for the first time here in college station for my wife's birthday dinner. We come from Fredericksburg, Boerne, and San Antonio. It was a busy night, but the staff was very friendly and we got a table relatively quickly. The restaurant was extremely loud, with lots of college/high-school age customers, as well as a live band with extra loud music. Put that aside, the food was way below average. I ordered the lasagna, but I've had better lasagna at home (homemade). The lasagna was basically tasteless. We also ordered a sangria, which tasted like sprite mixed with kool aid (I'm used to top notch sangrias like those served at Maggiano's in San Antonio). I've included a picture of the burnt toast they include for free if you request it. I've heard good things about this restaurant, so maybe it was an off night for them. I do not plan on going back or recommending this restaurant to anyone. For $88 it was definitely not worth the ride.

We just finished spending a birthday party here in the evening and we had a very large party but everyone was serviced very quickly by one waitress. the food was absolutely excellent, The desserts were amazing, and our waitress had such a wonderful attitude. She was very attentive and the checks got split correctly the first time amongst 11 people. We were very impressed and will 💯% return again!

Our server, Ty-Juan was outstanding. The food and ambiance were exquisite. Bonus was sitting next to talented jazz ensemble all evening. The icing on the cake were the desserts. You'll have to go to Luigi's and try everything for yourself. Thanks for a lovely time!

We came here for our anniversary and had such a great time! The staff were warm, polite, and genuinely friendly, which made us feel welcome right away. Our food (lasagna and bolognese) came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. We also had Messina wine that paired perfectly. The atmosphere is cozy and lively, with a really warm vibe that made the night special. The anniversary dessert was such a nice touch. Definitely recommend Luigi’s for both special occasions and a great night out!

Worth a visit! Best Italian food I have found in the area, and reasonably priced for the quality. The cannolis were outstanding. The decor was really charming and there was even live music. Will definitely be back for the pasta again.

Fast food restaurant
In the 1950s, there was a popular fast-food chain known for its counter-serve burgers, some of which were stacked with multiple patties. Recently, families brought their kids to this place and they can't stop talking about it even after a week. The children have even started sketching the logo of Whataburger just for fun. While it might not be ideal for them to become obsessed with it, moderation is key.
Brian man you are amazing you were having a rush at Whataburger and we accidentally got a burger that had no patty I called up the Whataburger. Brian answered and he said ma’am let me get you a refund fully. He gave me new fries, a new burger and a free Dr Pepper shake Ryan deserves a raise so does the whole of the staff of Whataburger amazing people working there and having great smiles on their face, thank you Brian and the little cashier boy
Teri H — Google review
I've been a Whataburger fan since I was a kid, but they mess up my order. All I want is a Whataburger with only bacon, lettuce, and tomato, but they add mustard on my burger. I had to make a taco out of it. For Whataburger employees, next time, read the damn order properly.
Ramon ( — Google review
I love Whataburger food. But this location on South Hwy 6 in College Station NEVER gets our order correct. It doesn’t matter if it’s a hamburger or forgetting the cream gravy for my chicken fingers. And sometimes their chocolate shakes/malts taste more like they’re vanilla than chocolate. I hate to say it but I usually choose another fast food restaurant in the area over this Whataburger location. But when I give in and choose to get food from them they consistently mess up my order.
Rilee K — Google review
This whataburger by far has the best most efficient friendly staff I’ve ever encountered anywhere. At 5:15 on a Friday extremely busy store every employee I came in contact with was courteous, helpful and friendly and professional. Customer service does not go unnoticed

This location is busy during the lunch hours but the staff is spot on getting the food out quickly and correctly! They had several people walking around making sure customers had sauces and napkins. Dine-in customers didn't stay long because their food came out quick!! Great job!!

I took my kids here for the first time recently and they're STILL talking about it a week later. My kid has even started drawing the Whataburger logo for fun. I'm not sure if getting obsessive about Whataburger is a good thing but we will come back in moderation. I did enjoy the Whataburger as I always do. My kids for the chicken tenders and Whataburger Jr with fries. They ate everything! This is a great sign because they can be so picky sometimes. We also took advantage of a free Whataburger through the app sign up, and a free Whataburger Jr through a mailed-in coupon. Our total was around $15 because of the tenders, extra fries, and a drinks. Really not a bad deal to make us all happy. Thank you!

Three stars is a decent review. We had walked in on Sunday afternoon for lunch, reportedly after a huge rush. Ordered everything on the app, and food delivery was easily 10 to 15 minutes late. The common denominator for excuse is that they were just throttled, apparently, with lunch rush. No straws, no napkins, no towels in the women's bathroom. The floor was greasy, the food was good, but really not what you would expect at a Whataburger. Definitely was lacking, and I can tell you we have visited probably 50 plus Whataburgers all over the state of Texas. I thought this was going to be a solid place for us to stop for lunch, and had to apologize the 3 hours back to Fort Worth for recommending this place for lunch.

Shopping mall
Shopping
Nestled in College Station, Texas, Post Oak Mall is a vibrant retail haven that boasts over 125 stores and eateries. This shopping complex features an impressive lineup of popular brands like Victoria's Secret, JCPenney, and American Eagle Outfitters, making it a go-to destination for fashion enthusiasts. Beyond shopping, visitors can enjoy a diverse food court offering various dining options or let their kids play in the designated area.
Post Oak Mall is one of my favorite malls that I've been to. There is actually a pretty big variety of stores still open and the mall can get pretty lively during the day. Inside, there is Macy's, Dillard's, Hot Topic, Spencer's, Journeys & Journeys Kidz, Champ's, Footlocker & Footlocker Kids, Aeropostale, Victoria's Secret, Melrose Family Fashions, Earthbound, Claire's, and more!! There are also lots of locally owned businesses at this mall if you like to shop small! Chuck E Cheese is also at this mall location and there are lots of little cars that kids can sit in and play (they charge a couple dollars.) If you are hungry, the food court inside offers a lot of different options for everyone. There are Charley's, Manchu Wok, Roman Delight Pizza and Pasta, Great American Cookies, and more to fill you up!
LiME L — Google review
As with many malls across America, this one is slightly deserted. While there are still several stores open and stocked, I would check to see if what you are looking for is currently in the mall before coming. The food court had lots of options and the vendors were friendly. We picked the pizza place and the food was delicious. The reason we went to the mall was to visit Bath and Body Works. I was not disappointed. The staff was great and they helped find what I was looking for pretty quickly.

I brought my gold-plated cross to Gold N Diamonds Jewelry to buy a new $125 chain. They offered a simple cleaning for my cross and new chain, and I’m extremely disappointed with the outcome. Not even two minutes later, I immediately noticed that the gold plating had been completely stripped off. The cross is from Hyo Silver and worth $265, and it’s not even a year old. No one warned me that cleaning it would risk damaging or removing the finish, and I was never asked for permission to proceed in a way that would alter the appearance of my piece.

It’s pretty much the only mall here in College Station so we have no other choice. Most of the time, a lit of shops are closed. But at least it has some basic shops. Parking is rather easy.

My grandkids and I enjoyed visiting the Post Oak Mall. They had never been to a mall only regular shopping centers (Walmart, Target.. etc). We all had a blast here. The mall was very clean and had a great atmosphere. I was surprised that quite a bit of people were visiting and shopping at this time and age! This will be our go to place when the grandkids visit us again. Don’t forget about the Malls, they were the best idea to be invented!!

Stopped in to visit McAllister's. Had no idea they were there. Very helpful and knowledgeable team. They did not have what I needed (the exact size fuel line is rather rare). But they had huge variety inventory. Will visit again

Literally so rude. Bought something literally less than 10 minutes ago, came back asking if I could exchange it, hadn’t left the mall, still had my receipt and the original packaging. It was just out of the packing. It was a notebook that I didn’t realize was squishy and wanted too exchange for something not squishy. Took 5 min to get her attention, and when I did she had a mouthful of food and was extremely rude about the situation and didn’t let me exchange, even tho SHE had checked me out 10 min prior. Awful customer service, rude worker. Not sure of her name all I know is she was a black girl and had glasses with a bandana.
Hailee R — Google review
This mall is small but there are major stores inside. Plus there weren’t a lot of people shoulder to shoulder inside. There are a lot of stores with sales. Bed bath body works has a good sale. Plus there is a shoe store with a very good sale on flip flops. Lids had some nice hats for Hubby. I really likes this mall. It’s not big but has the major stores we all love, JC penny, Dillards, Claire’s, sun glass hut, foot locker etc. the food court also was pretty good. We has Chinese food and the price is really good. For two people was only $15 for meal and drink. They also have a Chuck E Cheese here. Didn’t expect it to be this nice. It was worth the drive. Check em out. I enjoyed it not too big not too small.

If you're looking for a vibrant and exciting destination, look no further than Grand Station Entertainment! This expansive family-friendly center is packed with activities that cater to all ages. From modern bowling alleys and exhilarating laser tag arenas to engaging arcade games and challenging escape rooms, there's something for everyone. The lively atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for families bonding, friends enjoying a night out, or even solo adventurers seeking thrills.
I visited College Station with my squad and we wanted to go out and do something late night, this was the perfect spot for the occasion. All we did was bowl, but they had plenty to do here. The staff was kind and the atmosphere was great. The lane tables were a little crowded; close to the group over, but overall, this is a nice place to have some family friendly fun.

BEWARE OF GETTING POKEMON CARDS here. I was so excited to redeem the points I had been saving for a bunch booster packs since I’ve recently started collecting. But every pack we pulled from the Stellar Crown set was a FAKE. These booster packs were also all sealed. They were all missing the Pokemon company QR code card and had faded backsides, or off center printing on the back. Definitely open your packs in front of an employee before you walk out with them! The second photo is a comparison between a real and fake card. Real card is on the left and the fake one is on the right.

We celebrated our son’s birthday at this wonderful place and had an absolutely amazing time! I want to thank the bartender for the excellent service, Nelly for her kind help and attention throughout, and Alissa for organizing everything so perfectly. Everything went even better than we could have imagined. As someone who isn’t local, I was a bit nervous about inviting new friends and wasn’t sure how to impress our guests. But everyone was truly delighted with The Barn — the private space was perfect for hosting kids and gave us peace of mind knowing they were safe. It’s no surprise that the parents who dropped off their children decided to stay and enjoy a cozy couple of hours with us. The pizza was delicious and filling, and even the fries tasted great after they cooled down! The kids had so much fun playing Laser Tag and arcade games, and we really appreciated being allowed to bring our own cake. This charming bowling area inside The Barn turned out to be just perfect. The quality furniture and stylish interior made the atmosphere even more special. It’s a wonderful venue for private parties, birthdays, and corporate events. Thank you for giving us such beautiful memories of our celebration! 🎉

We wanted to try this place for a while and we decided to take the kids there for spring break. The parking lot had plenty of parking. Prices were a little high but not too bad. They weren’t that many people there but there was a long line to get to play as it was only one register open and that guy was overworked and grumpy. That was plenty of staff walking around, being on their phones and talking to each other. Waiter spilled out beer, brought the wrong appetizers and then someone else came saying that he left. Place is huge has lots of games and bowling lanes but I understand why it was so empty.
A A — Google review
My review is for bowling only as I've not used any of the other attractions. I'm at the bowling lanes three times each week and my experience has been consistently good. The staff is friendly and helpful and the lanes and seating areas are always clean and maintained. I don't think I've ever seen a stray drink or food wrapper. It can be pricey for a family, so be sure to check out kids bowl free to help manage costs. If you're a bowling enthusiast, be sure to check out the pro shop for friendly advice and excellent service.

The service is a 10/10, there was a minor in inconvenience in the kitchen that set the food that we ordered back for a little bit over 40 minutes, we kindly ask the staff about our food and they made it their top priority to help us. Gratefully, having to wait for the food the manager added an hour and a half to our bowling time, gave us a free pizza, and a free play card that included an hour and a half of bowling and up to 5 people to bring. Definitely need to come back more often!!’

Park
Wolf Pen Creek Park is a serene green space located just 10 minutes away from the campus. It offers well-maintained walking and biking paths, including a popular 2-mile loop trail that follows Wolf Pen Creek. The park features a 9-hole disc-golf course, an amphitheater lawn for events, and open grassy areas for relaxation. Despite some pollution issues during Covid, the park remains a beautiful and peaceful place to visit.
This is one of the most amazing outdoor attractions in the city of College Station. It is probably the only with the longest working and running trails in town with so many unique features. It has a big amphitheater stage in water and an elevated field facing it. There are play grounds for children and areas designated for food trucks on events. The park also has parking spots at the east and south Entrance sides. The creak and small pond around the amphitheater have turtles and and other creatures that makes the site attractive. There are also jungle gyms and rest rooms by the park. Water fountain and power outlets are available at fairly close range.

A great place to walk, picnic, or catch a sunset (or a Bulbasaur). There’s a playground, two large grassy fields, an amphitheater, and a small pond. Definitely recommend the route over the bridge and to the right, which winds a good ways alongside a creek through a nice, shady wooded area. There are restrooms available near the amphitheater and its large sloped grassy field. They sometimes host free live music and movies there. There’s plenty of free parking near the community center and some picnic tables as well. There’s also a bunch of Pokémon Go routes of differing lengths too if that interests you.
Jess W — Google review
Everything that was unsafe which I communicated was pleasingly handled. Needs a clean up, people really polluted the water during Covid. I have not proposed one yet though. This place has free music at times with venders. I have had some great times at this park with the best energy in the nation. You really should see it at sunset, the lighting is set up spectacularly to look like candles against the backdrop. There are fireflies in the trees after dusk in the summer!

This is not just your everyday meandering trail by the creek for it is an opportunity to take in some rare wildlife, fauna and fresh air while educating yourself with some fun facts as you stroll. Plenty of benches, water fountains and chances to leave the trail for a more adventurous, rewarding, and lasting memory of college station await you. Simply step between the ferns for a kiss under the mistletoe before daring to go over the embankment to another world of seclusion, privacy and the sound of babbling brooks. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked for you may see beavers, otters, or even a rare gecko from the Indi's or hear the hoot of an owl at dusk. Perhaps, if you wish upon a Lone Star you could get a glimpse of a rarely viewed and secretive flying squirrel.

Dog park
University Park Dog Park is a popular spot in College Station, offering a large fenced-in area for dogs to run and play. The park provides various amenities such as water fountains, benches, waste bags, and even a small pond where dogs can swim. There are separate areas for big and small dogs, as well as a playground for children. The park is usually bustling on weekends but quieter during the mornings and weekdays.
Incredible, picturesque dog park within college station. Giant area for big dogs and separate large area for small dogs. Big pond, and tons of structures for the pups to play on. Will absolutely be back!

Beautiful park. The playground was nice for my 2 year old. She enjoyed it. The park was shaded and comfortable. The dog portion seemed really nice looking. It had a pond, picnic tables, and a dog obstacle course.

Cute little dog park. Two separate areas with drinking water and small ponds for your dog to swim and splash. One for large dogs and the other for small dogs. Also 2 short walking trails that circle the park. There's a small water hose upfront by the entrance sign in which you can use to spray off your four legged friend before going home. Love coming here! P.s Just always be leary of other people's dogs 🤗 not everyone's dog is as friendly as their owner would like to think they are and that's at every dog park.
Breyanna G — Google review
My dogs love to stop by and enjoy their pup cups on the way home.
Bryce P — Google review
The dogs are typically friendly, it's a good place to let my dog be a dog and get some socialization time. There are always toys, tennis balls, and sticks lying around to throw for the dogs, a fair amount of seating, shade, and a pond for the pups to cool off in. Be sure to know your dog's temperament with others and set your own dog up for success. The park is typically crazy busy on weekends, and quieter during the morning and the work week. One major drawback is there are a lot of young adults who are too busy socializing to watch their dogs, and I've seen a fair amount of preventable fights break out. There are also venomous snakes and snapping turtles, so be sure to keep an eye on your pup, especially if they're crawling through bushes and in the water.
Megan H — Google review
My friend Quentin who knows I do reviews goes to this amazing honey hole with his sister and he pointed it out to me. When I walked into this community treasure with my friend Monica, her husband and their dog Winston I was imeadately taken aback by both the size of the place as well as the amount of amenities offered. Two fenced in yards allow the big dogs to be separated from the small, there is a playground for the kiddies and even a grassy area that would be great for frisbee. Plenty of parking, drinking fountains a place to wash the hound off when your done and to top it all off it's definitely the HOT SPOT to meet people. Channel comes here with her pair of Wippets which are similar to greyhounds but smaller and if I knew I would meet her there I would of been waiting with flowers. I rate this spot a super grade honey hole:)

Gumby's Pizza is a casual restaurant chain that offers a wide variety of pizza, wings, and comforting Italian dishes. Whether you're craving a late-night snack or enjoying a meal with friends, Gumby's has got you covered with their affordable and delicious options. Despite the busy atmosphere, the efficient staff quickly served customers and ensured that orders were ready in just 15 minutes. The food arrived hot and fresh, leaving patrons satisfied with their enjoyable dining experience.
We've picked up pizza from here or eaten in-store roughly once a week for about six months now. The pizzas and calzones are incredibly delicious, made quickly, and exactly to order. (Big fan of the Heart Attack and the Meat Locker!) The staff are warm and friendly, haven't had a bad experience yet and we know we can come and eat when we're both run down from a crazy week without being hurried to leave.

It was a fun atmosphere and the pizza was tasty - will come again - but next time I’ll try blockhead. Got the chicken bacon ranch with a light jalapeño and dipped in jalapeño ranch with a stoner pie pizza ( French fries and morels sticks on top - don’t knock it till ya try it! ) Everyone with us enjoyed their food.. took awhile to serve us but we had a big party. TRY IT ! We were glad we did !

Good experience overall. If you just order pizza rolls, they have those ready almost instantly, but wings will take a while. The wings were large & flavors were good. Only complaint is that the edges of my flatbread were burnt so I was only able to eat part of it. The pepperoni pizza rolls are best with a sauce (ranch and/or garlic butter are my favorites)!

When it's the wee hours of the night, and the fridge is empty, Gumby's is a good place to go. Fantastic specialty pizza rolls. Jalapeno ranch? Some of the best in town. They have forgotten to put all I've paid for in the box from time to time (always check before you leave), but it's a solid spot. Best pizza rolls in town, hands down.

This Gumby’s is a great spot for any kind of gathering. Eating alone? nice place for it. Need it to go?they are timely as long as you give your self time to order. Friends/family meetup? Plenty of open seating inside and out. The pizza and pepperoni rolls🙌🏼 (drinks/beers) are our favs! My husband is from SM and prior to him the river was my favorite and have always loved Gumby’s when they were at UT Austin. My son was a Texas State student for his freshman and sophomore year, he has transferred up north this year. But one thing we never have to ask while in San Marcos is what pizza place we are going to! As long as Gumby’s is around with its bright open spaces, great ambiance, and just as important clean bathrooms we will always recommend🙌🏼🙌🏼

Great place to enjoy the evening with your loved ones. Service is great & the food is always delicious!! Very fresh! Our pokey sticks- add mushrooms & sausage!

Love me some Gumby’s! Went in as I was leaving town. Midday, not too crowded, food was fresh and the quality was great. Service was the best I’ve had in a long while. Games on every TV and cool music playing to boot…. Highly recommend for quality pizza at a decent price.

1st time visitor. The pizzas were huge and tasted amazing! The ingredients were fresh and the menu choices plentiful. The service was excellent with the pizzas arriving quicker than I thought considering it was a busy Saturday. I look forward to my next visit!

Mexican restaurant
This Mexican fast-food establishment, known as Chipotle Mexican Grill, provides a wide range of options for customers to customize their meals such as burritos, tacos, and bowls. Their offerings have been enjoyed by many people who have had negative encounters with other Chipotle locations. The steak was cooked impeccably with a tender pink center and a well-cooked exterior. Additionally, the vegetables were tasty and the guacamole was made using fresh ingredients.
I’m been craving chipotle 🤤🤤🤤 I was so full🤰 they give you such large portions by the time I was done with lunch I was so stuffed and I couldn’t even eat dinner. by the time dinner came around I was still full! Had to skip my next meal 🤰I tried the new chipotle chicken. But it was sweeter than expected vs spicy like I thought. The guacamole is so good love getting all the toppings. Just next time I’m gonna save half my lunch so I’m not so overly full just didn’t want to trash my leftovers. Plus it was so good to stop 👍🥑🥰

Had to go to chipotle twice because 1st time around • My rice was still raw & hard. Chicken was burnt. And not many other choices to choose from be cause barely anything was prepared. Went back to just try and see if they would remake it. They remade it however, rice was okay but chicken is extremely burnt. I’m on my lunch break and don’t have time to go back. But practically everything is either overcooked or undercooked. Nearly spit the whole plate of my chicken out. • No eating utensils, no napkins , & dirty environment. Happy they tried to rectify the situation, however still below par. Corporate definitely needs to make a trip to get that place back to where in needs to be.

This chipotle is one to avoid. I have been here on 3 separate occasions where they’ve been “out” of the vinaigrette. I am starting to think the kitchen and staff just don’t feel like making it. I just picked up an online order and I asked for additional dressing and the employee said “we’re out of the vinaigrette and it’s probably not in the bag either” and proceeded to still charge me for the vinaigrette. They also give you less than 1/4 of a bag of chips when you order their $8 chips and queso. One of the worst locations in College Station.

There wasn’t a clean table in sight. The service was terrible (no napkins, no soda tops, no ingredients). The serve was slamming objects in frustration as the fellas in the back left her upfront to work alone in frustration. They needed an adult to work there.

This place used to be good several years ago. Now, there's trash everywhere. Portions are small and the station they make assemble your food is filthy. As they assembled my burrito, they dragged it through all of the filth on the counter. I had to ask them to wrap the burrito in a clean piece of foil. Absolutely disgusting.

Disappointing Experience I don’t normally leave reviews, but my wife and I were genuinely that unsatisfied with our visit. From the moment we walked in, the service felt rushed as if they were in a hurry to get us out, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. The staff seemed uninterested and had an attitude that made the entire experience uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the rice was hard and undercooked, which completely threw off the quality of the meal. We expected better from a place like Chipotle, but unfortunately, this visit missed the mark in every way. We won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this location based on our experience.

Kindest workers, guy and a girl (no names sadly) were super fun!! Best experience taking my friend to her first ever chipotle trip :)

If I could give 0 stars I would. The past 3 times I’ve came the service has been so slow it takes my whole lunch break to even get my food, and one time I came at 9 pm (an hour before closing ) and they were out of rice. When I do actually get my food, the portions suck even when I pay for double. Do better!!!

Fine dining restaurant
Veritas Wine & Bistro is an elegant and contemporary restaurant that offers a blend of Asian-French fusion cuisine with a focus on seafood, accompanied by an extensive selection of wines. The locally-owned establishment provides a chef-prepared dining experience, featuring dishes like calamari, scallops, halibut, duck, and venison. Guests have praised the perfectly cooked scallops and duck while recommending the sea bass and wagu beef.
Love, love love this place! This is my "must visit" spot whenever I come to College Station. I am especially a fan of their tasting menu (which they can make gluten-free and dairy-free if you give them advance notice). The tasting menu is a wonderful way to spot my new favorite dishes (especially fish dishes)! The quality of the fish dishes here is especially outstanding. A dinner out here costs a bit more, and dress is more formal, but the atmosphere is wonderful (live music), and the company, wines and food are divine! Just a few tips. First, reservations are highly encouraged, and I would say necessary for groups larger than four. One of the reasons I love this place so much is that they can accommodate my gluten-free, dairy-free needs. If you want to do the tasting menu, and you have special dietary needs, you need to give them lead time - I believe they said they needed 24 hours, so let them know when you make the reservation.

We love this place! Great food, customer service is on point, nice quiet ambiance for dinner, and good drinks! This is our go to for when we want a nice, romantic date night! There is also an outside patio if you prefer that.

Was a great experience. We ordered a meal that they surprised you with 6 different plates. Later in the meal the chef/owner came out and talked to us. It was nice to actually get to thank someone who put in the work and effort into our meal. I believe food tastes better when you put your heart into it and I will say the chef did just that. Once again thank you it was great.

Locally owned by an Aggie, this restaurant and wine bar is definitely a place to visit for a chef prepared meal. We had the tuna appetizer followed by two main course recommendations from our server. We went with the sea bass and wagu beef. We also ordered the truffle Mac n Cheese. The meal was to die for, I highly recommend Veritas! We arrived at 5:45 on a Saturday so the place was just starting to take reservations, hence the empty restaurant pictures.

Last night my wife & I did their six course chef's choice. Calamari was overcooked, chewy, and oily breading. Scallops were cooked to perfection & garnished magnifique, and fantastic in the mouth! Halibut was overcooked to flaky but dry. Garnish was on point. Duck was cooked to perfection! Thick moist and delightful! The way duck can only be allowed to be cooked. Venison was wonderful and cooked just right, as well. I had mixed emotions on the garnish, but still atleast a B+ or A-. Wagyu beef was a crying atrociousity - ruined. I was amazed at how dry it was, considering the color of the meat. I think it is because it was SLICED! (releasing the juices) and to add insult to injury: likely left to sit at the pass too long. The desert was divine! The lemon square and sopapilla was truly remarkable. Brownie was good, but not exquisite. Overall a fantastic finish. Finally, each wine they chose to pair with each course: on point and worth a slow sip and left to linger in the mouth. That being said: whomever was at the pass the evening of 11/09 needs an educational talking to. These prices dictate the necessity of, at minimum, near perfection, and nothing less. This time I was with my wife for her birthday, and didn't want to risky any type or oftputting feelings, so I sent nothing back; I simply shared the comments with the nice waitress who attended to us, to pass to the chef, then we were leaving. I shall return to try them again. But during the next visit I will return things that are over cooked. Why? Not just the price, but, also, b) his place has potential, and silence will not get them growth.

Went to Veritas after my graduation for a lunch. The place was not packed, as I expected it to he during this time of the semester. The restaurant looked fancy with a bar in the centrw and tables all around. The menu was small and the dishes were costly. We could not vibe with the place so we left after taking a look at the menu.

Restaurant
Dixie Chicken is a renowned establishment in College Station, Texas, with a rich history dating back to the 1930s. This iconic spot offers a relaxed country-style setting and serves up local favorites such as fried chicken, burgers, and cheese fries. It's also known for its lively atmosphere featuring domino games, pool tournaments, and live country music. Visitors are drawn to the legend that it holds the record for the most beer consumed in one night in the United States.
I recently had dinner at Dixie Chicken in College Station, and while the overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few mixed aspects. The restaurant has a fantastic lively atmosphere, perfect for a night out with friends. The bar food was also quite good. We particularly enjoyed the cheese burger, chicken tenders basket, and chips and queso – all were delicious. However, the Tijuana fries were a bit of a disappointment. The cheese was dry and hardened, which took away from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Despite this minor issue, I would still recommend Dixie Chicken for a fun night out with friends. The overall experience was positive, and I would definitely return in the future."

Reviewing as a restaurant - I’d describe this as an expensive kid’s menu that also sells beer. The food was marginal at best. Reviewing as a bar - I’d describe this as an iconic local joint that you’d need to see if you’re in town. We were in town for a wedding and this is the place the youngsters getting married wanted to hang out with their friends. We had a great time but in retrospect we would have eaten before we came and just drank and hung out.

Very cool bar and grill that has a lot of character. Would be a great place to have a beer and burger. Has some pool tables and lots of old west decor. Really liked all the carving by customers into the wood work, as it gives it a unique look. Not sure if it's encouraged, but maybe bring a jackknife and ask first.. The ice tea was excellent and the burger was good. Very dark inside. Could use the ceiling redone as it's seen better days. Worthing going to just to check it out.

Overpriced. Cramped. They don’t serve you. Their quantity and quality of food does not match up with the prices. You have to go to them and they don’t even bring your food to you. Also the food choices are overpriced and don’t have enough quantity of the food. Also the cashier guy was very sarcastic and had an attitude. When you work in Food and Beverage, be on your best behavior. You also have to pay for ranch. We also had to sit outside behind another restaurant. Do better or don’t exist at all. College Station restaurants are not up to par. Everything is paid separately and they are no upgrades or combos. And how is your restroom the size of a refrigerator. This is the 21 century; not the 1800s.

Local Dive establishment with a reputation (all good of course). I can't tell you how many times I have visited this location. Food has always been top notch and the drinks ice cold. Good place to chill and relax. It has a small honky tonk feel to it. In a quaint little area to hang out with friends.

Amazing fun, chill college bar and food place. Delicious food, a good value, super chill and down home atmosphere. Great place to hang out and have some fun. Highly recommended.
Luke T — Google review
Food was average, lacked flavor and overpriced, all teenagers and young adults who definitely appear to work because they have to, as the service was not there. Cashier seemed annoyed because someone was new there and didn’t know what to order nor offered what most people like. All that being said, family friendly, large dining areas, and if I were back in my young adult college years, this is the place to be.
Ruth R — Google review
This place is crazy cool. If you go to A&M, you know exactly why you come here - for beer, for activity, for noise, for friendship. Now review is needed - you come here because you know exactly why you are going to. A great place, and I hope my son has fond memories of this place and his time at school.

St. Mary's Catholic Center is a renowned church serving Texas A&M University and Blinn College students, but it welcomes everyone. It hosts weekend masses and is frequented by many students due to its proximity to the universities. The center is a significant part of College Station, larger than many cathedrals, and attracts numerous young Catholics. With various ministries catering to thousands of Catholic TAMU students, it sets an example for Catholic education at both secular and historic institutions.
St. Mary’s Catholic Church has my heart. I adore the devotion bestowed by the congregation and each of the ministries that unite to build the beautiful parish. As a Former Student, Class of 2024, I selected to spend my gap year in town to primarily continue my service at St. Mary’s and to give back. St. Mary’s was there for me when I needed it most and strive to actively serve others to experience the same.

As a professor, I truly appreciate what St. Mary’s brings to our community. It’s a place where students can find real support, grow in their faith, and feel grounded during a very formative time in their lives. The priests and staff are welcoming, the liturgy is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere is both peaceful and uplifting. I’ve seen how much of a positive difference it makes for students and for me, it’s a blessing to have such a strong spiritual presence so close to campus.

This is the centerpiece of the city of College Station. It is larger than many cathedrals, and it is very encouraging to see so many young Catholics attend Mass here. They are our future. The St. Mary's Catholic center with its various ministries for the thousands of Catholic TAMU students is a model of what Catholic education should be not only at secular universities but at historic Catholic institutions as well.
David H — Google review
I've had some issues with my experience at St. Mary's, but overall, it's a very kind and welcoming community. College is a universal time of drastic change, self-discovery, and independence, so it's great that we have such a vibrant Catholic community right across the street from A&M campus to be a guiding light. Catholic or not, you should definitely visit St. Mary's if you're in College Station!! It's a beautiful church with an awesome student center, and it even has a courtyard outside for all your pondering needs.
Lane — Google review
It's hard to believe that structures like this are still being built. It reminds me of cathedrals I've visited in Europe. The attention to detail in every aspect of the nave, murals, chancel and celestory windows is phenomenal. Regarding the service, it restored my faith to see so many college age students and people from all ethnicities, and ages worshipping together and celebrating mass.

Hurricane Harry's is a lively beer and dance hall that offers live country music, DJs, and drink specials. The atmosphere is vibrant and eclectic, making it a fantastic place for 2-stepping and line dancing. The music selection varies between clubbing tunes and country hits, catering to different tastes. While there's an entry fee for those under 21, the reasonable drink prices make it popular among college students and locals.
We have always loved this place, and yet sadly they are shutting the doors soon. So we went back for a last time. There was a great turn out. I will say the young lady behind the bar was great, her service was awesome and she did a great job. There was a good playlist of music and plenty of dancing. We will miss this place many of great times were had here. Thanks for all the memories and great times!!

Let’s be honest you know someone that’s been here. So ask them I will say tho, the only reasons didn’t give it 5 is because the hip hop that starts playing around 11:30-12. Also, I got kicked out Halloween night because I had real spurs on…. I’ve seen literally hundreds of belt knives there. Bullriding Spurs in a country bar aren’t allowed.

Only real country western dance hall left in town. I’ve been going here for over a decade now. Great drink specials, and the bottom dance floor is large with a smooth surface. If you’re looking for a good night out, then I recommend this. Thursday and Saturday are the typical dancing crowd, with Fridays having concerts. Top dance floor is a solid hang out spot where the music isn’t as loud so you’re able to have an easier conversation and hang out.

I have heard many good things about hurricane Harry's, so I decided to give it a shot. The place is cozy, has 2 decent sized dance floors, and other than the bathrooms and the dust covering the ceiling, has a pretty charming down home country feel to it. Edit: I went back for Mike Ryan's concert. It was packed, and many of the people were standing on the dance floor. Very few people danced, but the music was great and the atmosphere was friendly!
Samuel B — Google review
It's a fantastic place to go 2 stepping and line dancing. Their music selection is pretty good. At some time between 11:30 & 12:00 they start alternating between clubbing music and country music, which is fine if you're into that kinda thing. I find it's best to go with a group, but if you go on your own, there's always the ability to ask someone to dance. The $10 cover charge for those 18-21 starts to add up, if you go consistently, over 21 it's $3 on Friday and Saturday, free on Thursday. Or free on Thursday Friday with an Aggie ring. I do wish that there was some sort of discount program for people who go consistently, but other than that there isn't too much to complain about.

I usually hate country, but I went here for Aaron Watson's show and I must say the venue was perfect. Bar had reasonably priced drinks and the bartenders were awesome. I would definitively go to another concert here.

Used to give this place 5 star reviews. DJ needs to not be doing a hip hop hour at a Texas country dance hall. DJ shouldn’t get defensive when questioned about it by paid customers. Especially right after a George Strait concert. There’s plenty of bars for hip hop on NorthGate. If the owner properly corrects the DJ, this review will be deleted, and this will become a 5 star review

I am totally disappointed in Texas A and M. On today my son attended their annual Mike Elko Football Camp. This was my second year bringing him and he is a rising recruit. There were lots of thigs going on today, as they had 7 on 7 and a Big Man Camp. A lot of parents have worked hard to save money to bring their kids to this camp and today while them and their kids were inside enjoying the camps, Texas A and M had their parking lot folks out in the parking lot writing tickets for a parking lot that was not full, and no one was being inconvenienced by the families parking there. When these families left today half of them had expensive parking tickets, so sad and distasteful! Texas A and M made and got billions of dollars, but you have folks in the parking lot writing tickets for cars owned by hard working parents! Very distasteful! I see why you all will never win anything!! We have been to campuses all over Texas and this only happened at Aggie Land! You want these kids to come to your school and play sports so you can earn money off of them, but you disrespect their families by trying to squeeze money out of them for parking in a parking lot that was not full. You already charged them to come here for this event, and they had to buy food from all the high food trucks you had there today and now you give them tickets, so sad. I hope you all rethink this as I would not recommend any highly recruited kid to come here unless you all just overwhelm them with NIL money, otherwise stay away.

With a seating capacity exceeding 12,800, Reed Arena is not only perfect for thrilling games but also hosts an array of concerts and special events that have featured renowned artists like Garth Brooks and Cirque du Soleil.
We went to 2 graduation ceremonies back to back. Plenty of parking space and lots of room indoors. They don’t let you bring in anything but they do sell food and drinks inside. I attended a commencement ceremony here in 2025. The seating sections were well-marked and the seats were fairly comfortable. My only complaint was that the hallways leading to the arena when you enter the facility were too narrow, making the exit process very crowded and slow.
Greg P — Google review
Came for a graduation and had a great time. The seating was a bit smaller than my old body would prefer, but it's an arena. Loved it all but the only negative strike is getting out of the place is a HUGE pain. They only have a very few exits and everyone going to the same few spots while groups chit chat make it pretty staked. Food/drinks are the usual steep prices but not too fantastic. Definitely a spot I wish I could return for a basketball game. Pro-tip: if you are lining up for a graduation, do NOT wait at the Main entrance. Those are as far from the stage when you enter as you can get. Go to the right/left of the main entrance and go to whichever is furthest from this point. If I did it again, I would have gone to the right of the door the graduates entered.

The Corner Bar was always a blast while I was at A&M. It was either Corner or Martini for a night out on Friday or Saturday. Definitely a fun and social spot with a great view from the top!
Michael H — Google review
Was there last night and it was great. Not sure if it was because of all the Mexican fans were there after the game vs Brazil, but I loved it. $20 cover fee.

The Corner Bar was an excellent location for an Aggie graduation party. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. I highly recommend visiting when you're in College Station.
Marty B — Google review
My friend and I recently purchased tickets to their Christmas event, and we got there 30 minutes after the event started only to find the place completely empty and locked up. We messaged them about it, but they did not post about the event being cancelled until 30+ minutes after even though the talent had posted sooner. In all honesty though, I find that even more suspicious since this was supposed to be a catered event anyway and there was no sign of catering crew. Either they had shown up and left after finding it empty, or the order was cancelled in advance. Not only that, but it has been a mess getting refunded. We were told to go through the ticket purchasing site, yet the site rep stated since the event wasn’t cancelled by the Corner on their end we were ineligible for refunds. So right now we are out the price of tickets and we paid for parking. Last but not least, I had sent them a DM while we were locked out, only for them to read it two days later (which I don’t mind) but they left me on seen instead of offering directions for reimbursement or any words of apology. Update: I messaged them again inquiring if the issue will be fixed and they apologized and said they asked the talent to expedite handling these issues as they were in charge of ticketing, not the Corner. They also stated to let them know should I need further assistance.

The service here was a bit slow. The food was decent for coming from a bar. I enjoyed the chicken Caesar salad I ordered but the fries I ordered were a little too salty and at least half of them were not crisp. I would also recommend their BBQ chicken sandwich as I've tried that on a previous visit. Many of the tables are tall, some of them quite rickety. The music playing was nice to listen to.
Heather E — Google review
Services is slow. Food is a great price, but you get what you pay for. Food is greasy and soggy. Even their french fries have been known to suck... At one point a friend of mine and I wanted to go there at night for a drink, after a late class. They actually stopped us at the door and told us we couldn't walk in with our backpacks. Didn't say why when asked, just that they couldn't allow it.. Maybe they were scared we'd steal the cups after we finished the drinks. I'm not really sure... I avoid the place.

I love that this bar is open from 11 am to 2 am. I got out of class at about 5:30and really needed a cold beer because it was 100° outside. The guests and the staff were very friendly, and the staff was very appropriately conversational. I met several people, bartenders included, and I will be back.

Vietnamese restaurant
Nam Cafe is a delightful counter-service eatery nestled in College Station, TX, where the vibrant flavors of Vietnam come to life. This cozy spot specializes in an array of authentic Vietnamese dishes, including steaming bowls of Pho, savory noodle options, and delectable bao buns. With a menu that caters to all tastes—offering vegetarian choices alongside classic favorites like beef pho and pork vermicelli—there's something for everyone at Nam Cafe.
Today was my second time eating here and I wanted to make sure I left a review this time. Everyone is so sweet especially Ken. I’m vegan and wouldn’t be able to eat the fried rice because it’s cooked with butter but Ken was able to modify it by cooking it without butter. He also offered some information about how to find vegan restaurants via the Happy Cow app. I knew about the app already but it really warmed my heart that he mentioned it. I wish I could give them 10 stars

This was the worst Vietnamese food I've tried.. We ordered grilled pork, but it was undercooked, and the egg noodles in the shrimp pho were unappetizing. Very disappointing
Ivory N — Google review
"Nam Cafe is a hidden gem! The pho is incredibly flavorful, and the banh mi is perfectly crunchy. Fast, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. A must-try for authentic Vietnamese food!"
Michael D — Google review
Not bad for a college area restaurant. Little hard to find, GPS didn't help at all. PHO was good. Need to go back to try other menu items Spring rolls were disappointing, remove bean sprouts add lettuce or some type of greens.
D T — Google review
Overall a great eating experience. The good was delicious and freshly made. I wish the pho had a slightly deeper flavor and the vermicelli had a stronger flavor profile. Helping seemed nicely portioned for the price. The cashiers, servers of food and person cleaning up the table seemed attentive and friendly. The table had full siracha and hoisin bottles which is really nice. The bathrooms were down a very narrow hallway and small (1 person at a time) Parking lot is small.., about 10 slots so parking behind cars is common. I’d recommend and would return.
Sherman O — Google review
I ordered the pad Thai, which tasted fine for its price although the noodles could have had more flavor. The service was good, got my order quickly and there was good organization. Atmosphere was good. I liked the dim lighting but felt crammed here because of the small area, however the staff members were welcoming and inviting.
Mandip C — Google review
My favorite thing is the beef vermicelli but I’ve ordered almost everything. I love the food! They have great customer service and the owner is also has great customer service as well!
Lanie L — Google review
The only negative thing I have to say about this place after my first visit is that there is very little parking, so keep that in mind when you come here. I had the Spicy Noodle Soup, which come with a side bowl of beans sprouts, jalapeno slices and a lime wedge. The soup itself has thick noodles, thinly sliced beef, cilantro, green onion, red cabbage and onion. I thought the soup was very good, I'd definitely come back. The tables have chopsticks, spoons and forks on them and there is a station where you can get chili sauce, chili oil and other condiments also.

C&J Barbeque is a local barbecue chain that has been serving up delicious ribs, brisket, and classic comfort sides since its beginnings as a gas station and barbecue corner in 1981. Over the years, it has evolved into a deli-style restaurant that has garnered recognition for its mouthwatering BBQ. The menu offers BBQ plates with a choice of meats and classic sides, with pecan pie as a must-try dessert.
Ordered the turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato and added the pickle onions, hot sauce and jalapenos. Top notch!!
Zubin M — Google review
I was disappointed with the brisket that was dry and cold. The chicken was tasty. The ribs were flavorful but dry. The atmosphere was good. Don't think we'll be back.
Raven M — Google review
Not as good as I hoped, but very tasty nonetheless. This chain gets good reviews as some of the best BBQ in College Station so I probably went in with too high of expectations. I’ve had better at smaller hole-in-wall places around Texas. You order at a counter where they assemble your food and then you seat yourself and get your own drinks. The brisket was solid and the sauces were very good. The sides were generally decent with the exception of the cornbread. Who adds lemon to cornbread? That’s a first for me and it was no bueno. Overall solid choice.
Rob H — Google review
Brisket was dry and had no flavor and relied on the sauces too much. Potato salad was very heavy on the mayo to me. Mac n cheese had no flavor. The chicken was good, it was the only food that had noticeable seasoning. Food LOOKS good but looks aren't enough. Wouldn't come again.
Jerry G — Google review
Went to this place I'm Bryan and I want to say a couple of things about it. 1st it's bar b q and the meat was not bad we had ribs and moist brisket both were prepared well but it was average as far as bar b q goes. I didn't find anything better about it than say rudy's. What I can say is that they are lacking in the sides department. We had 4 sides. Green beans, potatos, macaroni salad and green beans. Everything fell short on flavoring except for the green beans. They were ok. We came here at lunch on a weekday and this is definitely a blue collar working mans place. What I will say is for your hard earned money, you can do better. $17.50 for a brisket plate and a drink. My wife got the special that came with the drink for $15. And we wouldn't mind paying that for bar b q, what I am saying is that this price is too expensive for the quality they serve here. At least for my taste.

Good value for the manager special. I saw it online but not on the in store menu. It was about 430 in the afternoon place was dead except for one family. They had like 6 people standing in the kitchen. It’s like uh why ? They are losing money. Anyway tbh r bbq was pretty good , not sure what the gold sauce is for etc would be interested to know if it’s for chicken or what and the other sauce was unique I’ll be back for the managers special another time beans were good
Sam J — Google review
Got the 2 plate meat with Brisket and Pork Ribs. Really well prepared and pretty good no non-sense spicy sauce. The fried okra and ranch potatoes were also good.
Avneesh D — Google review
Very friendly atmosphere but I was disappointed with the food. The twice bake potatoes were good, the beans not so much. The sausage was good the brisket not so much. We had this for lunch at work n it was very good. However, when I went to get some to take home around 630pm it was not good.

The Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History, located in Bryan, is a unique educational destination focusing on natural history. It offers a variety of attractions for visitors, especially families with young children. The museum showcases the flora, fauna, and minerals of the Brazos Valley area through exhibits such as an observation bee hive, butterfly displays, and live animals. Visitors can explore rotating and permanent exhibits featuring fossils, taxidermy specimens, and period agricultural equipment from the region.
Great place to take the kids. Inexpensive to visit. We always pack a lunch and have a picnic before going in . There's some short nature trails outside.

I had a great time here! It took me about an hour and a half to look through everything, so on the smaller side as far as natural history museums go. The staff were cool, and the admission was pretty cheap. I only paid $4 after the student discount. The exhibits are interesting and well-kept, and I definitely enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit (see pictures below). There is a room with small live animals in terrariums and tanks, which was also a cool experience.
Alex F — Google review
BVM is not large, but full of interesting things regarding Texas and the Brazos Valley. Excellent photography displays. The old bank safe was most impressive from a mechanical stand point.
J S — Google review
Smaller than expected but clean and information-rich exhibits. Lots of taxidermy, live critters and even some Dino fossils and activities for the kiddos. A perfect stop if you need a quick cheap getaway with the kids. There’s also a small nature trail (not paved and muddy if wet) and pond with plenty of trees and shade for a picnic. Plenty of parking. We plan on returning for new exhibits in a couple weeks!

We had a wonderful time at the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History. Our group included our 2 year old son. He loved seeing the dinosaur and train exhibits. We spend a lot of time in the Discovery Room seeing all of the animals and interacting with the children’s activities. It was a perfect rainy day family activity.

It's pretty cheap, but it's a small museum. They have some cool rocks and an interesting section on Texas history. I guess the animal stuff is alright, but there's nothing too wild. I would've liked a section on trains.

Aggieland Outfitters is a must-visit store for Texas A&M fans, offering a fantastic selection of Aggie merchandise. The store has just about anything you can think of, from pricey to inexpensive items, ensuring there's something for everyone. The staff are known for being helpful and knowledgeable about the products they offer. Customers have had positive experiences with the personal shopper service and on-site embroidery options.
We shop in store everytime we make it to CS, but living so far away, I needed an Aggie gear update. This was my second time ordering online. Arrives in a reasonable time (this isn’t a giant Amazon warehouse, remember, this is a privately owned company who cares about their products). Everything is neatly wrapped, carefully packaged and checked by hand. Yes, it costs more than Walmart (or the previously aforementioned conglomerate) but everything is velvety soft, comfy and cute. This order was exactly right, but they left out one small item from my first order— I called and they apologized for the oversight and immediately shipped it out to me. It was no problem. We love supporting Aggieland Outfitters and it’s so refreshing to find competent customer service these days!

Stopped by today on my way through c stat, used to go all the time. A basic button up short sleeve shirt made in Vietnam costs $170. Their prices have become absolutely absurd in the past few years. The Bonfire Memorial in College Station is a significant landmark that commemorates the tradition of the Aggie Bonfire, which began in 1909 as a symbol of Texas A&M's spirit and rivalry with the University of Texas. The annual bonfire attracted thousands of spectators until a tragic incident occurred during the 1999 event, resulting in 12 fatalities. In honor of the victims, a memorial featuring twelve stone arches pointing towards their hometowns has been erected.
Really touching tribute to the students who died in the tragic accident. I will say, as someone who didn’t know what happened, I had to look it up afterwards. The monument assumes you’ve got some sense of the accident.
Matt B — Google review
A very simple and effective memorial to the lives lost. The etched poem over 5 segments of the wall that leads to the monuments, "The Last Corps Trip", is such an appropriate message and adds to the solemnity.
Howard E — Google review
Excellent tribute to the twelve lives lost on that tragic night. I was at the stack a few days after the collapse and have been back multiple times since the memorial was built and am moved everytime I'm here. Highly recommend visiting the memorial while in Aggieland. The pictures of the tributes are only of the portraits as the pics of the descriptions did not come out well. My last visit here was the day of the A&M/LSU game and want to give a shoutout to the LSU fans that came by and showed their respects.
Andrew C — Google review
One of the very best memorials I've EVER seen. I was blown away by how intricate the design and detail was. They spared no expense in honoring. It is a must-see if you go to College Station, in Texas.

One of the most thoughtful and elegant memorials ever built. It's just splendid to visit this place in the evening. Every design aspect has some significance in remembrance of the Bonfire Tragedy of 1999 and the 12 Aggies who lost their lives. Indeed, There's a spirit can ne'er be told!

Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park, a state-of-the-art facility, serves as the home field for the Texas A&M college baseball team. This venue offers an enjoyable experience with its affordable concessions and friendly event staff. The stadium is known for its pristine field and various traditions, including train whistles, bubbles, and the 7th inning stretch accompanied by singing "Deep in the heart of Texas." There is also a unique tradition of sawing Varsitys Horns off.
Love watching Aggie baseball! My family loves traveling here to watch games. Just a great atmosphere overall!
Eli V — Google review
Nice field. The left field bleachers don't have the best view of the field. I've sat in the lower and upper sections of the main seating as well. Grab a ticket there if you can. Parking is quite a walk but also easy. The train tradition is fun. When you hear an engine horn, hold up the number of fingers you think there will be engines. Bubbles everywhere after a home run. Event staff seems a little controlling. Attendance was down at the last game I attended and they kept yelling at a guy for putting his feet on the row in front of him. Those seats were unoccupied the entire game.
Timothy C — Google review
Always love a good baseball game and watching a game here is guaranteed to be fun! Lots of (paid) parking. Plenty of dining and food options. Good size field makes you feel part of the game! LOVE the tradition of guessing the number of engines on the passing trains and blowing bubbles when they score. 😆

So! much! fun! The baseball is fun to watch, it's easy to get in and out, there's close enough parking for $5, but the traditions make it the most fun Baseball anywhere.

Watching a game here at Blue Bell Park is so great. Generous and affordable concessions, such a polite Event Staff - a beautiful field- and traditions. Lots of those. From train whistles and bubbles to the four ball hex, 7th inning stretch and singing “Deep in the heart of Texas” and let us not forget sawing Varsity’s Horns off! The ladies room is clean with a lotta potties! And when there is a homerun - bubbles fill the stadium. Great fun for all. And victory fireworks!

You could feel the magic of a wonderful ball field as you walked through the gates and up the stairs. There was electricity flowing through the crowd as they chanted their team on. Burger Mojo is a casual 24-hour eatery known for its delicious burgers and desserts. It's a popular spot, especially during finals week, offering consistently satisfying dine-in options with generous portions. The restaurant serves up creative and tasty burgers quickly, making it convenient for those in a hurry or looking for late-night bites. Customers can expect sizable portions at reasonable prices. While some menu items may be spicy, the overall experience is enjoyable, making it a decent choice for burger cravings.
Excellent burgers. The buns are the star of the show in my opinion, they are so soft and sweet. The burgers are juicy, tasty, and huge. They have unique flavors for their sodas and they are quite good. I also had the chili fries and they were really good too. The chocolate shake was also really good. I think this might be the best burger place in town by far. Highly recommend.

Not sure if it’s because I hadn’t eaten the whole day or if it was genuinely THAT good, but I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite of my burger. Not only that, but they offer gluten free buns that are actually really good. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere is exactly what you look for in a burger joint, and the hours are amazing for college students. Only thing I have against my visit was that the music was slightly too loud, but nothing worth really complaining about. Overall, really impressed and satisfied. Will definitely be coming back!

Truly surprised this place has multiple locations and a 4.3-star rating. I stopped in around lunchtime and the place was completely empty, now I understand why. The fries were some of the worst I’ve ever had, some rock hard, others limp and soggy, all completely unseasoned. The chicken was bland and flavorless, like they forgot to use salt or any seasoning at all. Nothing about the meal stood out, and not in a good way. Save yourself the time and literally go anywhere else.

My family and I were in town for a Track competition and decided to stop. I am so glad we did! The food here is fabulous and the place is decorated so nicely! And I must say that the staff were phenomenal. Very kind and attentive. While all of my boys got delicious Burgers, the Chicken Sandwich was calling my name! Goodness, that was one flavorful sandwich and the chicken was so crispy! Yummy! Also, let’s just say those queso fries were amazing! Everyone enjoyed those! And we had to get a cinnamon roll for dessert! Perfection! Great experience all around :)

We went at lunch time and there was only one customer eating while we were there. No wonder!! We were going to order a plain cheeseburger, and that was okay, but she asked if wanted fries and a drink with it. We asked if you have a combo and was told we order separately. So a small burger, fries and drink would have been 15.00-16.00. I said, wow. That's pricey. She told me it was the same at every fast food. I said, but where I go. So, we ordered 2 burgers at today's special, and a large fry. No drinks. It was 18.00. The smallest burger I've ever bought and no flavor to it. The fries were good though. If you eat to make money, you can cut the cost in half and you'll make it up by just a few more customers

I recently tried Hopdoddy Burger Bar for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed their Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders. The restaurant offers a variety of signature sauces that are amazing for dipping. The staff was energetic and helpful, creating a great atmosphere. Located in a popular spot in College Station, this place is known for its delicious food. While I didn't try their burgers, I heard great things about them.
The burger 🍔 was delicious 😋 and loved the high booth table. The fries were a tad it too salty but all in all amazing. And I received a free burger coupon since I told them this was my first time there. Highly recommend. And just go ahead and pay for parking lol less stress.
Jessica M — Google review
Let me explain my rating. Hopdoddy does have some good things going, including quite reasonable pricing for the neighborhood. The building is everything a burger bar should be - including footrests for the booths, a great idea! There's a lineup of appealing burgers and some appealing sides. And beer (yes!). However: (1) The Hopdoddy website says "Located in the heart of the Texas A&M campus, Hopdoddy..." - what are they talking about??? It's literally off-campus. (2) We thought "shareable fries" meant a size big enough to share. It should be be thought of more literally: "something you can share". (3) After a meal, if the service has been good, I tip generously. But asking for a tip before there's been any service isn't just out of order, it's a bit of a hostage situation. My refusal to go along with it must have affected the attitude of the girl who brought our food, because she wasn't the least bit friendly.
Ken S — Google review
Usually I have a good experience at this location. I enjoy the vege burger. But this time I had a very negative experience. I went Sunday afternoon. When I got home and checked my fries I had a staple in my fries. I could have eaten it. Or it could have cut my mouth or throat, which would have led to a bad medical episode and a lawsuit. I noticed there were two staples in my bag. One of the staples must have gotten lost. Please be more mindful of the staples and make sure they are accounted for. If you drop a staple, you need to find out where it went. If you can’t find it, don’t just disregard it. Make more food to replace it, to make sure the staple isn’t lost in the actual food. I understand it may have been an accident. But that’s a pretty big error and the workers need to be more careful. I usually mix my food and it could have been easily not seen and eaten. Slow down and take more time to consider the details of what you’re doing. Please and thank you. To make matters worse I also didn’t have any utensils or napkins in my bag. So it was an overall negative experience

Great experience! Delicious burger, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Definitely coming back!

Great experience! The double bacon jam was messy but good and the Parmesan truffle fries were very tasty. Highly recommend!

Good burger and fries. But took a while to place our order and drinks came out wrong plus had to go inside to ask for 2nd drink because staff didn’t serve.

It was our first time here and everything was so great! The server taking our order walked us through the different fry options, and the manager came to check on us and make sure everything was going well. All the food and the service was wonderful! Even when they got part of our order wrong, they fixed it quickly and with a smile! The atmosphere is great too— good music and a cozy and clean interior. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was fantastic. The fiancé got the El Diablo burger, He said his hit the spicy note quite nicely, and he really enjoyed it. I got the Magic Mushroom burger, the combination of the creamy goat cheese, and the pesto were a great compliment to one another. the burger was a nice medium , not dry at all. The fries were perfectly seasoned, and the sauce was Delish Now let's talk about the drinks I have been waiting a long time to try Brothers Bond Bourbon, so I got the Evenings Hallow It did not disappoint. I got mine with some extra simple cinnamon syrup, and it was divine. If you are looking for a nice Fall Drink look, no further, especially if you are a fan of Bourbon We will definitely be going back.

Taco restaurant
Taco Cabana is a vibrant Mexican restaurant chain known for its classic Mexican dishes, such as freshly made salsa and tortillas. The pet-friendly eatery offers a diverse menu featuring chalupas, enchiladas, quesadillas, tacos, nachos, vegetarian bowls, and kid-friendly options. With about 15 outdoor tables for dining with pets, it's a popular spot for groups and families.
This place is an old school Bryan TX staple! The food is good but nothing compares to a dozen fresh tortillas with pico, salsa and caso for like $4 to take home and make your own breakfast tacos with. Also, they're still open 24/7 if I'm not mistaken so the tortillas are hot and ready whenever you shut down the bar and need something to absorb all the alcohol before you pass out so you don't wake up aspirating your own tequila vomit

Order took forever when no one was in the store and only one customer in the drive thru. I ordered an 8oz pico and only received green and red chopped tomatoes. Steak fajita tacos have 3 small pieces of meat in a tortilla for almost $5 and no peppers/onions like the menu shows. Will not be coming here anymore. Huge ripoff.

Chips are old, you can smell it. Service was great. Girl at the window was super friendly. Tacos were good, just make sure to smell your chips before handing them out to avoid that rancid taste and smell. You can smell it when you walk into the restaurant (from my own experience working in fast food)

Absolutely disgusting! I ordered chicken fajita street tacos and when I received my order and opened them up they only had one piece of meat! This does not look appetizing and the meat looks old!
Isabella — Google review
I ordered this because I was starving. I worked a late shift I got home. It did not have the pico de gallo that I ordered. It did not have any salsa at all and that made me mad enough but then when I try to take a bite, I almost break my tooth because the meat is rock hard solid. That’s how old it is. I don’t know how long it had been sitting there. I would imagine all day to get this hard … you have to have higher standards for your restaurant I spent my hard earned money on this .. would you buy that?

I mean the food is Taco Cabana it's essentially the same at every location. So when it is the same at every location that's a positive thing, this place was no exception. Food was fine, again it's Taco Cabana so if you like the food at Taco Cabana then this specific location will be a good place for you to go. There wasn't anybody in the restaurant we were by ourselves we decided to sit outside the service was great. The chick at the register was super patient with me being indecisive and trying to make the food as white as I possibly could (I hate cilantro). Everything was fine, I've been going to and hanging out at Taco cabanas since I was 14 years old so over 30 years now and it was definitely one of the better places that I've been to. Is it Mexican food? Not really. Is it Tex-Mex? Sort of kind of. But it's decent food decently priced and it makes you feel like you're eating Mexican food..... Kinda 🤣

I want to take a moment to acknowledge Leonard at Taco Cabana. He was very professional, respectful, and patient while we placed our order. We took our time choosing from the menu, and he never rushed us. Instead, he treated us with great customer service and a friendly attitude. Employees like Leonard make the experience so much better—I truly appreciate his professionalism and kindness.

If you go to the drive thru make sure you double check your order and make sure everything you paid for is in the bag. I went this morning and got got for 2 orders of the nacho cheese queso. I was the only vehicle in the drive thru so they can’t use “busy” as an excuse.

Fine dining restaurant
Nestled in a charming, century-old ranch house, Christopher's World Grille offers an exquisite dining experience that beautifully blends gourmet cuisine with global influences. This historic venue features several elegantly designed dining rooms and a stunning outdoor terrace, making it the perfect spot for any occasion—be it lunch, dinner, or happy hour. Renowned for its romantic ambiance and delightful dishes crafted by Chef Christopher Lampos, guests can indulge in specialties like the Texas Spoon Drop Crab Cake or the mouthwatering Blue Filet.
After a little misunderstanding on Valentine’s Day, Christopher the owner was quick to reach out and invite us back to try the REAL Christopher’s. And let’s just say they did not disappoint. Everything was fabulous from the amazing staff, including our server Rick and manager Rafael, to the DELICIOUS cocktails, food and desserts. Christopher’s is a great place for any occasion. Thank you Christopher for being so amazing and being a leading example for your amazing establishment!

To put it simply, it’s just not worth the price. I’ll start by saying the service was really good. Servers were well informed and attentive to our needs. Definitely satisfactory. The food was fine, but subpar for the price point. Presentation was disorganized and crowded. The steak was undercooked. Everything tasted great, but for what I was paying, I certainly expected more. The drinks were good and well priced. They brought out a platter of deserts after the meal for your eyes to fond over when your stomach has had enough. The post-meal espresso was actually terrible, so if that’s your thing, do not waste your money on that. I’ve had better at the large Seattle-based company. If you want a nice dinner for $100+ per person (after drinks), I’d go somewhere else.

We went here to celebrate a birthday and enjoy family company together. Both the food and the service were exceptional! We all got different steak meals, and everyone was happy with the quality and preparation. My wife and I split our meal, and the portions were generously sized for our appetites.

Overall this is a place you go to once just to say you’ve been. Considering a fine dining experience and price tag, the service was good, but could be improved. We ordered the pork chop and the redfish. The pork chop was delightfully good, with the desire to go back for the next bite each time. My redfish was decently cooked but lacked flavor, the side pairings was a peculiar array of 8 different veggies. The fish was lightly breaded but tasted like it’s been sitting on the window a tad too long, with the breading slightly soggy. We ordered the fondue and it was very hearty with large bits of mushroom and spinach, very tasty but distant from a traditional fondue mouth feel. The cocktails were delightful good, we ordered a peach Bellini, a raspberry mojito, and an old fashioned - all beautifully balanced. For dessert we had the cheesecake and rich chocolate cake, both delightful. Overall, great execution on appetizer, drinks, and dessert, but fell short on the main course. I left feeling like I could have made a better fillet at home for a significantly cheaper price. However, the atmosphere is very elevated and is great to impress a date.

I’ve been coming here for years, and both the food and service have remained consistently amazing. One standout I always look forward to is the sticky toffee pudding with Guinness Stout ice cream—if it’s on the menu, do yourself a favor and order it. It’s an absolute must!

Christopher's is a lovely little place with an old world feel. The steaks were incredibly tender and had very flavorful sauces. Definitely one of the higher end restaurant experiences I've had.

This quiet location has a very unassuming house that has a treasure of wonderful and delightful treats for all to enjoy. A once ranch house, converted into a fine dining venue with an unassuming atmosphere the experience is stunning. From the wonderful host who graciously shows you to one of the varied room where you shall be indulged in excellence in service and amazing flavors. Our waiter Ethan was attentive, informative, and fun. I shall not miss this location each visit to College Station. It is my new "must go to..."
