The RV Hall of Fame & Museum in Elkhart, Indiana is a modern event facility and museum dedicated to the RV and manufactured housing industry. Spanning 10,000 square feet, this complex showcases a wide range of historic recreational vehicles from renowned American manufacturers such as Winnebago and Airstream. The museum provides a chronological journey through the history and technological advancements of recreational vehicles and manufactured housing from pre-World War era to the present day.
Absolutely loved this place. It is well worth the stop and the admission price. I spent about two hours working my way through the exhibits in both museums and checking out the Hall of Fame and research library. As a FT vanlife gal, the RV side made me ridiculously happy - each rig was more fun than the previous all the way through. Great storytelling and history all the way around. This is clearly a labor of love. Those who like history and life on the road will be enchanted.

So I'm big on RVs so this was amazing. I went in a Wednesday and Thursday. The guy at the desk was amazing and made my visit even better. He took the time to talk about the list of restaurants in the are and things to do. This spot is also a host for Harvest Host, so get in your RV and take a ride. You can stay on site for at least 1 night and hookup for a fee. I recommend visiting the home of RVs and take a trip down memory lane at the RV museum.
Chandra H — Google review
WOW! What a great museum! If you have any interest in RVs and their history this is a must see! The 60's and 70's mobile homes were perfectly restored! Relived some very fond memories in this museum!

Had never been here and thought we'd check it out. Very interesting going through the theater history. How trailers are made section. Never thought of what all goes into building them. We then went through the vintage campers and trailers. Some were before our time but some we actually reminded us of our camping days. And then the modern tech area. The covered wagons to space age... "from wags to riches". Wow. Truly a house on wheels. Fun place and we will tell our friends.
Debi D — Google review
Fascinating place. Really great to see how early visionaries built and used campers from early 1900’s to today’s luxurious mobile homes. We’ve come a longggggg way pilgrim
John A — Google review
If you RV, this is a really cool place to visit. It's like a showroom with restored RVs from the last century that you can walk through. Even our grumpy children enjoyed it. Comically large parking lot.
Steve A — Google review
Nice museum. RVs date back starting 1920ish thru 1990ish. Fun to compare RV insides to what I remember from the 50s and 60s.
Noah N — Google review
We were curious about this place. For us it was a road side attraction for many it is a way of life - and now we truly understand it better. Phenomenal job with the exhibits - we did a self guided tours and really enjoyed being able to enter old mobile homes in the museum. It felt like stepping back in time quite literally! Big parking lot, quiet vibes really cool place even if you don’t own an RV!

Nestled in Elkhart, Linton's Enchanted Gardens is a captivating destination that promises an unforgettable experience for garden enthusiasts and families alike. As the largest home and garden center in Indiana, this enchanting spot spans over nine acres filled with vibrant displays of rare plants, tranquil ponds, whimsical fountains, and delightful artwork.
Always love to go here for anything plants and also goodies . I’ve found gifts for people after their loved ones had passed for keep sakes and I love bringing my kids here spring-fall to play in the treehouse and see the animals they love it every time
Alexandria W — Google review
Ok, here it goes. I'm going to do a pros and cons list below first. *PROS* - entry is free - beautiful - fun - free petting zoo/ animal viewing area - cafe if you need a snack Good photo opportunities - amazing gift shop with gorgeous things for sale and viewing. *CONS* - the train costs money - the mining cost money - the prices in the gift shop are high - most extra things you're able to do so have a cost. - Some of the features were not open or misleading. All that being said, it is a great experience. You will have fun for an hour or so and make some memories with your family or friends, which in the end is what it is all about, right.. I feel it is definitely worth a trip to see it and enjoy it.
Stacy R — Google review
We went on the train ride, fed the animals. All in all a great time. The Cafe was a disappointment. We had one order in front of us. We got smoothies and cakes. It took 24 minutes to get them. The Rockslide brownie was dry. Very disappointing. The carrot cake was good, as were the smoothies. The prices were crazy expensive. The whole place is quaint. So many decorative ideas! I actually bought a fruit tree and got it in our car! There is a tiny play ground and photo opportunities. The macaws were friendly and talkative. Would definitely recommend.
Deniese J — Google review
It's a beautiful facility and everything very well maintained and the staff was friendly. The train was very well done - extremely well made and a nice feature for kids. However, we went as a family with young children and everywhere you looked, including the entire route of the train ride, there were extremely ghoulish halloween decorations. At a place like this I expect cute pumpkin/Fall decor (which they had as well), but this place featured horror from the moment you enter the gift shop. The pumpkin patch was surrounded by mummified body parts. There were skeletons everywhere and elaborate ghoulish displays, including realistic figures hanging from nooses along the children's train route. (Really upsetting if you have someone with suicide history in their family, among other things.) My young children went around the place shielding their eyes to not be scared. Sadly I can't recommend this to families or as a school trip.
Monica M — Google review
It's... okay. Selection is decent, and walking around is really fun! My ratings are as follows: Customer Service: 4/10 *we had to find help when we needed it, and despite passing by several employees, we were never once greeted in any way ** When we came back to pick up our tree, the person loading it broke several branches, and what I got was an "oops. Hope that 'crack' didnt break anything" I was UPSET. The employee was unbothered. Pricing: 3/10- lord, y'all, everything is SO expensive here. Pricing is NOT comparible to other nurseries. Not even my favorite amish place is priced this high. Overall- a really fun place to visit, nut I am unlikely to make large or frequent purchases here.
Sarahbeth B — Google review
My sister and I were there for about 3 hrs. Even had lunch. Awesome place
Valerie W — Google review
I come here on my lunch breaks regularly. The shop is always so fun to walk around and I love wandering out to the petting zoo. The cafe has a good selection of deserts and lunches. It can get a bit pricey but nothing outrageous. In my photo I got a meal, smoothie, and a piece of lemon cake for $32

Such a great family experience! We loved all the attractions. Next time I will come back and shop the store. Try the gem mining, it's a great value.

Signature Lanes offers cosmic bowling with laser lights and also hosts competitive bowling leagues where teams can compete against players of similar skill levels. Additionally, the facility maintains cleanliness and offers reasonably priced beverages, ensuring everyone has a pleasant experience.
Nice bowling alley in Elkhart IN, not too far off interstate. Prices during day were fair, lanes were good. Food specials very good, had tacos and a burger.

Came for my daughter and her friends to have fun. They definitely had fun, but they we're definitely not lacking some employees. Poor dude was running around trying to fix issues left and right. Hopefully next visit will be better but they just haven't been the go to place for my family.
Katherine ( — Google review
Balls got stuck 5 times then pins wouldn't reset multiple times, they charge by the hour so every second wasted on their equipment is loosing bowling time. This happened multiple different times we bowled here, time to find a different place to bowl. They did put 15 minutes back on after it said game over and after we had our shoes off and ready to leave, we stayed for the 15 extra minutes and same thing, pin issues, balls got stuck etc. Hope your experience is better than ours.

We before all the crowds and had a great time. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Someone in the group got fries and said they were very good.
Eliza D — Google review
Took the kids for a bday party and the machine u get the cards from we pushed the $10 option and it charged us $50. We said whatever played the $50then went back to the machine tried to hit $20 and again it charged us $50. I got heated. Went to ask about it and the workers referred me to the card where there was a number to call. Pizza was overpriced and terrible cheese fries didn't have enough cheese. Burger wasn't cooked all the way. Drinks are overpriced and so is the bowling.

Wonderful staff ,helped us get shoes ,food ,play video games ,the most helpful staff I've ever encountered. Went with the whole family 6 kids and 5 adults ,they accommodated us in every way possible, thank you for making our visit perfect !!!

Breakfast restaurant
I have frequented Stacks Pancake House & Restaurant for breakfast on numerous occasions, often with my spouse and occasionally with our children. I cannot recall a single instance when I did not enjoy a delicious morning meal there. The menu offers a wide variety of delectable options that are both appetizing and satisfying. Furthermore, the overall dining experience is typically stress-free, as any waiting time has been minimal or non-existent in my recollection.
The Service was Great as soon as we walked in they seated us and Becca, our server, was very friendly and very customer oriented she was Awesome really. The Food was Delicious, big portions, and very worth it the Presentation of that Resee's French Toast was Amazing And Tasty! Def will be going back everytime I'm in Elkart, IN

Great place for comfort food. They have all basic breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes. Have been here multiple times and I always get a side of the American fries and eggs. All food is made fresh to order, the coffee is refreshing and service is great.
Kavitha K — Google review
I was visiting from Dallas, Tx on business. I came by for brunch on a Sunday. The staff were quick to seat me and there were so many menu choices. There’s a wide variety of food for any pallet. The pancakes are huge! Pricing was very affordable as well. Becca was an attentive server! I’d recommend they replace a few of the worn out booths for more comfortable seating. Light music would improve atmosphere of the restaurant.
Connie K — Google review
The customer service rep was very attentive & knowledgeable of the menus timely & very nice the food was a great big portion I left full & still had food for later 😀

Excellent breakfast. We had the Country Slam and the Breakfast Burrito. The gravy is amazing! Service was great, our server was super sweet and the food was quick and hot. Will return again!
Dave C — Google review
Sept.25, 2025 I ordered eggs over medium and they were hard, bacon was so over cooked it crumbled when I touched it and some of it was white. Coffee was barely warm. When I ordered the girl didn't even know what came with the meal. I had to tell her and then the cook asked her if I wanted bacon so she didn't even remember that it came with it. Toast was hard and cold. Had trouble cutting it in half. When I complained they comped a whole $.68! And didn't replace the bacon. I was trying to eat the food which was bad (covered it in salt) and they had one of the guys start mopping. He had so much Pine Sol in the water that it immediately made me nauseated! I tried holding a napkin over my face while trying to eat but it was too much! The guy mopping seen this but kept mopping! I ended up boxing up the biscuits and gravy (which I didn't get to try a bite of) and wrapped my toast and went to the register to pay. I told the cashier that they had to much cleaner in the mop water and it was making me sick and I couldn't finish my meal and all she did was look at me like I was an Alien! Then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to leave a tip! Which I did out of habit. And their minimum tip is 18%! Plus 3% for using my debit card. What happened to choosing what you want to tip? She didn't deserve 18%! I literally ate my toast in my car! Tried the biscuits and gravy after I got home and the biscuits were hard and the gravy had so much pepper I had to throw it away! I was the only person in the restaurant so there's no excuse for the bad food and bad service. Waitresses and bus boys were more interested in hanging in one corner joking around with each other instead of taking care of their customer. They need to clean their act up or they won't be in business long! I doubt I ever go back! I'll go to Grandma's House of pancakes from now on!
Peggy F — Google review
Food is very average. Customer service is very below average. Biscuits and Gravy taste like it is from a can. Scrambled eggs were t even edible. My daughter ordered a breakfast burrito and had eaten half when she found a hair. When the server went to the "manager" to comp the burrito the manager comped 15 or 20 percent. I said she had a hair in her burrito and she only ate half. So the manager that is now extremely annoyed comes to comp $6 off. Then angrily said "well she ate half"! Ma'am you should never be in management. We handed you the hair that I am sure you could compare to one of your cooks and it matched. I have no question why no one has ever suggested we try Stacks. The food is overpriced for the quality.
Carrie A — Google review
This restaurant was a total disappointment. We had loved this place in the past, but since the change in management, the service has declined. We were made to wait over an hour, and to make matters worse, the food never arrived (service for 2 people). The table next to us told us they had also been waiting for 1.5 hours for their food (4 people). After taking our order, the waiter never came back to give us an update on our meal. I understand that sometimes they can be busy, but they should inform customers about possible delays so we can decide whether to stay or leave. We got there Sunday at 10:30 am and cancelled our food at 11:37.

The Sports Time Family Pub & Grill offers a delightful ambiance and excellent cuisine. The total bill for a party of four, including beverages, amounted to approximately $75 but was well worth the cost. The pulled pork is exceptional, as is the spicy Maui dish. Don't miss out on trying their delectable fresh fried mozzarella, which is considered the best in town. However, some improvements could be made with their mushrooms. Overall, patrons can expect a positive dining experience at this establishment.
Great atmosphere, really awesome food; fresh not frozen! The servers were really friendly and the bartender Terri too, She was a doll and a hoot to talk too! They have live bands too as well usually on Wednesdays and Saturdays!

First time visit they have live music on certain dates . But it was relaxing calm atmosphere. Family dining, date night , or just solo for dinner? Prices can be a little high for surf and turf . Salads reasonable. Mixed drinks , beer ,tea and lemonade varieties of different soft drinks.

This is a great place! The waitstaff is awesome, the food incredible. Several in our party had the Special , which was lamb chops and they were very pleased! I had the Rueben , it was very good. In other visits I have had the Steak Salad, I recommend it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Outstanding! From the moment I walked into Sports Time, I was greeted with nothing but warmth and respect. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of the entire time. The customer service here is truly top-tier, friendly, fast, and genuine. 🙏 And the food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite was packed with flavor, served hot, fresh, and just the way I like it. Whether you're craving wings, burgers, or game-day comfort food, this place does it right. You can tell they take pride in what they do—from the kitchen to the front of the house. Respect, great energy, and good vibes all around. If you're looking for a spot that serves amazing food with unmatched customer service and an atmosphere full of respect and positivity, look no further. Sports Time has earned my business and my highest recommendation. 💯🔥👏

This is a great place for great food. The specials are always outstanding. I had the halibut on cauliflower puree with browned butter green beans. Excellent. The steak salad also looked outstanding and family/friends said it was great. I always like to stop in when visiting family in Michigan. Cocktails were great too. They can get very busy but food is always consistently good!!

Sports time is a hidden gem and is our #1 date night / family night restaurant! The wings are out of this world, the steak fajita salad has a delicious fillet with all the best ingredients accompanying it and don’t even get us started on the AMAZING specials they have. My husband had the Morel Mushroom Risotto 8oz Filet with Asparagus Tips special and was so surprised for such great quality how reasonably priced it was. We will DEFINITELY be back on Friday.

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill is a beloved fast-food destination that serves up delicious soft-serve ice cream and signature shakes, making it a perfect spot for dessert lovers. During my recent visit while traveling, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and efficient service from the staff, who worked seamlessly together despite being busy. After experiencing a minor hiccup with my to-go order missing gravy, I returned to find not only the gravy but also received a complimentary shake as an apology.
I had a to go order. Got home without my gravy. Went back, got my gravy and a complimentary shake 😋

Since DQ has changed owners this place has went down hill fast.. We have went a few times and NO MORE! Not spending that kinda of money to always have your order wrong. Blizzards that I should have just got a cone because about after you get about 2" down it was just vanilla ice cream, have ordered shakes and have got Sundays, have ordered cones and they were already melting from sitting there to long before getting to the window, chicken baskets missing items, employees chatting & standing around while you wait to get service etc... Save your time and money and keep driving by.
Kathy C — Google review
We've been avoiding DQ for awhile. We were visiting from out of town so we thought we would stop. This was a great experience. Service was polite and friendly. All employees working together. They we very busy and ran like a machine. Thank you!

Overall not a pleasant experience at this location. Site said dine in. Nope!! I was the only one of us to stick around and try the drive-thru. 9 minutes I spent in line. Cashier at the window was very talkative and informative. He gets his own star. Of course there's no help available out there. And if you want to exit South out of the drive-thru forget it. Had to end up going back North and doing a U turn. My sandwich was very tasty. But ran to the small side. Fries were good and hot

I went to DQ on CR 17 today. Got a small heath blizzard (in the drive thru) I ordered extra heath candy pieces and was charged for them. half way home, eating my blizzard realizing there are next to NO PIECES IN MY ICE CREAM AT ALL. If you are going to charge customers for 'extra pieces' you should at least give them. This is the 2nd time this has happened at this location. Won't be going back there any time soon
Pam P — Google review
The servings were huge, and the food was excellent, I would give it fives stars but the wait for the food was pretty long.
Loren S — Google review
This location is horrible. Waited in the drive thru line for 15 minutes and never even made it to the “speaker “ where they take your order. This is a repeat occurrence. If you can’t go better than this, shut it down.
Bob C — Google review
Drive thru has been very disappointing. The wait time 15-20 minutes and some of the staff are just standing around and some on their phones.

Simonton Lake Drive-In is a nationally recognized sweet shop located in Elkhart, known for its delicious ice cream and classic drive-in diner experience. It has been ranked as one of the top 31 ice cream shops in the nation by Thrillist. The root beer served here is highly recommended, with many visitors purchasing it by the gallon to take home.

I usually love the food here, but this Monday night was awful. We waited 20 minutes for food & the fries came out way over cooked with blisters on them, like they sat out and just threw them back in the fryer to make them seem fresh. They kept bringing the same fries out 2 more times. The lady that took our order & another curly haired girl that dropped off our food to our car (to go) were just being straight rude and rolling their eyes at my husband. Very saddened by this experience as I have been going there since I was a child. Never once have I had fries way over cooked. They weren’t even edible in my opinion. For the price of the food it wasn’t even worth it. Not sure we will be back. Back to edit: We got home to eat our chicken strips (seemed like they were old and sat around and were reheated, the meat was super tough & it’s usually juicy) & the mushrooms we got weren’t even cooked through the mushrooms inside the breading are raw. Burger was okay enough to eat & the floats were okay.
Autumn V — Google review
I was on my way to Flippin Cow, and on my way I drove by this location, I thought maybe I should try the burger dining experience here instead so I turned around and pulled into a spot. Sure, I could have stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings or some other chain or franchise. I didn't have any feedback from any locals or anyone at my hotel, so I didn't know what to expect as far as price and value. While ordering, I received a tornado/thunderstorm warning. I figured it was no big deal. So, I ordered from the menu and chose the Bacon Cheeseburger and a Drive-in Chicago Dog. While waiting, I took a few pictures of the location, and not more than a few minutes later, the light sprinkles turned into high winds and some heavy rain. These poor women were definitely not dressed for the downpour, and I wasn't prepared for any storm surprises. The lady handed me my food, and I was highly surprised by how light my bag weighed. We all know how it feels to spend $20 on wrapped and bagged food to go and judge its heft for content value. The burger and hot dog literally weighed about the same, if not less than a Carl's Jr. Famous Star. I got back to the hotel and opened it up in front of the desk clerk, and we were quite surprised at how small the burger and dog was. I guess I must be too used to Portillo's, In N Out, and other places. Yes, I was disappointed, but I can't deny the great customer service and the fact it's a mom and pop business in a competitive arena. So, in conclusion... it was decent tasting food with excellent customer service while providing the continued experience of in-car dining. Give them a try. They deserve a visit if you're in the area.

We live on the Gulf Coast now... and cannot get fried mushrooms or pork tenderloin sandwiches anywhere! So we ALWAYS look forward to the Drive in when we visit family up here. And this year didn't disappoint!

Closed for season. Website is not up to date. We made a special trip to visit and thus had to eat elsewhere. As a result we’ve found a better place down the street- Freddy’s Frozen custard and Steak burgers. Their food was better in quality, price and staff was nicer.

I have not had a bad experience at this place yet. I love the burgers especially and don't forget to get root beer while you are there. I'm sure the rest of their food is good but you can't go wrong with a burger and fries. To me it is worth the price tag. This restaurant is only open seasonally but I highly recommend it.

Outstanding food and service. We had a couple of burgers (both delicious), super onion rings and a couple of frosty glasses of root beer. We hadn't been here in a few years and happy to report it's just as good as ever. Stop in and take a step back in time.

The Hall of Heroes Superhero Museum in downtown Elkhart, Indiana is a one-of-a-kind attraction dedicated to the world of superheroes and comics. It houses an extensive collection of over 70,000 comic books, 10,000 action figures and toys, as well as more than 100 original comic art pages.
We stopped here on our way down to Pittsburgh. We saw some signs on the highway. Figured we could get some gas at the same time and really enjoyed ourselves. He's got a lot of great collectibles that you're not going to see anywhere else. If you love comics and collectibles, you'll love this place.

AMAZING little slice of comic book history right here. Stumbled on to this place trying to find my hotel at midnight and determined I would return in the morning. This place is filled with comic book print, movie, TV and toy history. For the casual and true fan alike. I'm definitely coming back and really hope to spend some time digging into the history of comics!

The Hall of Heroes Superhero museum is located in Elkhart, IN just south off of 90. At first glance, the building looks a bit underwhelming, but that all changes as soon as you walk in the front door. Entry into the museum is $10 per person, which you can pay at the door. Upon entering, we were enthusiastically greeted by the museum’s curator, Alan. Alan was very excited and knowledgeable about everything in the museum, happy to answer any questions. He also explained the setup, which is the front quarter of the building is the gift shop with super hero merchandise, Hall of Heroes memorabilia and some pinball machines/ arcade games that are free to play, included with the cost of entry into the museum. The rest of the building is ~6 rows of comics, movie props, superhero memorabilia, and signs with fun and informational facts about the items on display. This stop was my most anticipated on my 5 day road trip across the country, and it exceeded all expectations! It was very cool and I highly recommend it to superhero fans of all varieties from hardcore comic nerds to marvel movie enthusiasts!

A really great experience we rience. They have so much to see and learn about and we took a tour which made our experience even better. Their inventory is so extensive that there is something there for everyone to relate to and enjoy.

Interesting place to visit for lovers of comics and cartoons. Lots to see and read. You may want to plan extra time to read all the great information posted with the exhibited items. Many comics and famous comic reprints on display. More in their inventory. It would be nice if they had events to see some of these.
John L — Google review
Very cool place! My son and I enjoyed walking thru all of the memorabilia (him geeking out and quizzing me about each character, me just enjoying seeing the movie props used by Jim Carrey- and the pinball machines) We spent a couple of hours just wandering and playing the games. The guy working there was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a must see if you are even remotely interested in superheroes.
Cassie S — Google review
The history behind everything is amazing! The only critique I have is that their selection of things to buy are just comic books, "knick-knacks", magnets, etc., where I would've liked to see some figurines or artwork kind of things. Other than that, the history behind the comics is worth the trip alone!

Wellfield Botanic Gardens is a stunning 36-acre botanical garden located in Elkhart, with landscaped beds, water features, and sculptures. Established in the early 2000s as a community service project, it has gradually expanded to include various sub-gardens such as the Waterfall Garden and English Garden. The gardens are adorned with native flora and fauna surrounding Christian Creek, which adds to the natural ambiance.
We stopped in for mother's day. We got there early and it was perfect. It's been years since I've visited and now I'm thinking I need to get a membership! I love exploring all the flora and fauna, it's gorgeous and all the work invested into the new building....wow! If it's been awhile, come on down you are definitely missing out!

Our family loves Wellfield. We have a membership and have been going for a few years. They just renovated in the last year and it’s so well done. It’s like a dream here! Their children’s garden is amazing, my kids love it and could spend hours there. Their light show in the winter is the best I’ve seen in Michiana.

I am in love with this place! The grounds are very well kept and everything is clean and very aesthetically pleasing. There are a multitude of little waterfalls scattered around and the water in every location is so clear. We were lucky enough to visit when the local symphony was having some type of event there so part of the tour included some beautiful music. If I lived closer, I would be there often. I could go on and on about this place but instead I say; stop by and see it for yourself. If you love botanical gardens, you will not be disappointed.

Wow! I was visiting from Dallas on a business trip. $10 entrance almost feels too little for depth of beauty in this garden! What a gem in the city of Elkhart! The water and plants and art here is breath taking, and spectacular! What a treasure! Please come visit, and experience for yourself! I immediately see the forethought into the guest experience. There is a ton of places to sit and rest, so many photo opportunities as well that are absolutely stunning! There’s a children’s area too, with plenty of sensory things for them to experience! It’s a great place for the whole family! Consider donating to the garden as well, so they can keep bringing such a great garden to the community!

Really nice place very close to downtown, which you don't see very often. Price is very fair and there are lots of lovely places to sit throughout the grounds so you can really take your time and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommended!

Wellfield is one of my favorite places to enjoy nature! My family has had a membership for many years, which we enjoy most in the spring and winter (annual holiday lights). I love the variety of events held here and have even had the privilege to sing in their new Visitor’s Center in May 2025. A gem in Elkhart worth exploring and supporting!

This is an excellent medium sized botanic gardens! Paved pathways. Shaded with mature trees. Nice waterway in the middle flowing through. Lots of seating to sit and relax, enjoy the birds and beautiful scenery. Flowers blooming. Sculptures throughout. Children's Garden. So peaceful and such a nice peaceful pretty garden. Small gift shop. Very helpful friendly staff. New construction on their event center in progress. Adjust to a different entry at this time.

Iechyd Da Brewing Company is an excellent spot in Elkhart to relax and socialize with loved ones. This well-designed establishment offers a warm ambiance and delectable food and beverages. The brewery showcases a taproom where patrons can sample the latest top-notch creations. The beer is exceptional, and the cuisine boasts freshness. While their food menu is somewhat limited, it primarily caters to beer enthusiasts.
The Brewer's Break Plate was perfect. i loved all the assignment of meats, herb-goat cheese, and the cut cucumber, but my favorite was the stuffed peppadews they start off Sweet and end with a mild Heat We also enjoyed the ( bread of salt David . It's a very good cheesy garlic bread with a pizza sauce marinara. Our friend tried the Cantankerous Irish red he said it was good, and he also enjoyed the Big Pit Porter he said that he liked the Cantankerous Irish red was just a little bit better but it was hard to choose. My husband tried Tatarosa peach sour and the Cantankerous Irish red, and he loved the Cantankerous Irish red. I loved the food, but they don't have any diet soda options. My choices for water or iced tea. I do have to say their bottled water is good. 😁 They keep the place really clean. Really friendly staff. You have to order at the bar, they drop everything off at your table, but they come and pick up everything off your table really quickly. Great atmosphere, lots of happy people enjoying their drinks and food.

My friend & I usually order our “normal” pizza but this time we tried one of their features, Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza & it was really good! We’ll definitely be trying more of the features here on out! Also, love the Shroom App & seasonal cider beer. Great crew, owners have always been good to us when we dine-in. Cheers!

Walking in, you get the feeling that you will have a good time. They have some different seating options. The bar is not very large, and half of it you can not sit at. The food menu is on the table. You order at the bar. The beer choices and specials are on the chalkboard behind it. I tried the meat pizza that is the most popular. It is a thin crust pizza. To me, the crust is ok. The toppings were great. I also enjoyed the glass of red ale. The staff is very friendly. I will go back and try more.

Always a joy to go there and hang out. Beer is great! They also have some of the best pizza in town. I love how the place encourages sharing space and I have met a few people due to a shared table. Wish I had more time to visit more often. Keep it up!

Best pizza in Elkhart County in my opinion and top 5 that I’ve ever had anywhere. A variety of seating options with a bar that seats about 12. Outdoor seating also when the weather permits. My favorite beer they brew is Kickstart My Heart IPA but they don’t often have it. My go to beer is Revo which is a standard all the time. The music is also the best. A great variety of background music for good vibes.

We ordered 3 pizzas and breadsticks for lunch at work today, and it was all delicious. The pizza sauce, the crust, a bit of spicy where applicable, generous toppings. The basil on the side was a nice touch. I recommend these pies!

The park offers amenities like playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, walking trails, drinking fountains, and fishing spots.
What a quaint park in the middle of Elkhart river. It was a perfect evening walk after dinner downtown, and you can walk to the park from dinner if you wanted. There’s pavilions, a park for kids to play, and even disc golf course!

From summer events such as the Rhapsody Arts and Music festival to an after lunch stroll on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, Island Park has a little of something for everyone. I don't go there very often.. Love their sauce though and their toppings are cut bigger which I love. The way I like my pizza, that they don't do, is put sauce and toppings as close to the edge as possible. I don't like dry crust, but that is just me.

Last minute dinner idea, I called Marco's ( website said "online ordering closed, please call to place your order." I called and asked to place an order for delivery, please and was "greeted" with "WE DO NOT DO DELIVERY HERE SO YOU'LL HAVE TO ORDER ELSEWHERE!" Even if this was the last pizza place in Elkhart, I would never order anything or try ever again. I told him kindly that online it does state they deliver, and his customer service could also use some work and then hung up. I don't care how poorly staffed these places are, customer service is where your money comes in... think about that next time you greet a customer with an unwilling attitude.

McDonald's is a beloved fast-food institution that has stood the test of time, renowned for its iconic burgers and crispy fries. My recent visit was nothing short of delightful; I ordered through their mobile app, and everything was prepared just as I requested. The speed of service was impressive, with friendly staff members who truly made my experience enjoyable—something you don't always expect at a fast-food spot! The morning crew deserves special mention for their warm welcome and exceptional service.
Food and customer service were amazing. I ordered using the mobile app, and they prepared everything exactly as I asked. Additionally, I didn't have to wait long, and every employee who assisted me was really nice. They impressed me, especially considering it's a fast-food chain where service can often be lacking, but that wasn't the case here! Thanks to the crew, you're doing great 🫶

Went inside to grab food. Place was not very clean. Service was not very friendly. Stood at counter for quite a few minutes before being acknowledged. Young adults were more interested in talking and being on their phones than costumer service.
Brigid S — Google review
One of the most conflicting experiences I've had with a McDonald's as the employees seem nice but I unfortunately have never received what I paid for from this McDonald's. I ordered through mobile three times here and each time they failed to deliver everything I paid for. Just today I ordered a double quarter pounder meal with shake and fries. Received a quarter pounder with a single patty and no fries. Going to go the McDonald's further down the road from now on.
O'malley C — Google review
TERRIBLE FOOD!!! Fries weren't done and super soggy, burger thrown together, and cold. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to.
Angelica T — Google review
For years this place has been providing subpar service. Incorrect orders, missing items, items substituted without asking. Today my wife placed an order and yet again the Main Street crew showed up in style and messed our order up yet again. Ask for only ketchup, they throw everything on there including onions between the burger patties. Then they replaced a frozen coke with a disgusting frozen blue raspberry drink she didn't ask for. We visit this location (sometimes by accident or necessity) about once a year and how this place hasn't gotten better crew or management over the years baffles me, I mean the 2.8 average review rating can't be for no reason.
Matthiue M — Google review
Truly didn't even earn one star. This was the second total failure. Food was cold, door dash driver never indicated the order arrived so it sat outside my door for 30 mins, no straws or condiments, food was obviously cold when it arrived and just got colder. No worries there are plenty of restaurants to order from in the area but my kids like McDonalds ...:/
Sheilla M — Google review
The employees in the morning always make me feel welcomed. Clean environment and Robert in the drive thru always has outstanding customer service and patience with all customers. God bless this McDonald's 🙏
Mikaela M — Google review
This location never uses their drive-thru right they make you pull around to a window to order your food even if all you have is a drive-thru code to give them for a pickup order. I don't know why I keep checking back every 6 months to see if they get better because I've been coming here on and off for 5 years and they have never figured out how to use the drive-thru correctly. Honestly McDonald should tell the franchise owner to shut this location down because it gives them a bad name.

Volcano Pizza / Easy Shopping Place is a long-standing establishment in Elkhart, known for its Neopolitan-style pizzas and Italian sandwiches. Since its founding in 1957, it has expanded to three locations in the city. The restaurant's specialty lies in hand-tossed pizzas with generous toppings and freshly baked dough. In addition to their pizza offerings, they serve Italian sandwiches made with meatballs, sausages or beef, along with famous breadsticks served with a delectable tomato sauce.

I almost never post a review of anything I buy. But, I've been ordering carryout from Volcano's Easy Shopping Center, off and on, for the better part of 30 years. Occasionally I've ordered from Poplar Court. The food has always been fantastic. Not once has any of the locations let me down. In my opinion, Volcano's is the best pizza and Italian subs in the entire Michiana area. Great job!

Flippin Cow is an unpretentious establishment that serves unique burgers and comforting dishes. It also offers a variety of cocktails, and customers can enjoy their meal on a lakeside patio. The restaurant has gained popularity in its close-knit community for its delicious food, particularly their specialty burgers like the cheddar bacon cheese and the award-winning Stella Moo. The attentive waitstaff adds to the enjoyable dining experience.
If you're looking for one of the most memorable burger experiences around, make your way to the Flippin' Cow on Simonton Lake! I had the peanut butter burger (yes, peanut butter!), and let me tell you—it was absolutely spectacular. Perfectly cooked, layered with flavor, and hands-down one of the best burgers I've ever had. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and buzzing with energy. The lakeside view added the perfect touch—beautiful, calming, and just what you want when you’re enjoying a great meal. A special shout-out to Hannah, our server. She was incredible—friendly, attentive, and clearly takes pride in creating a great customer experience. She made us feel right at home and truly added to the magic of the visit. If you're anywhere near Elkhart, Indiana, this place is a must-visit. Saw the flippin' Cow on Google and had to go just because of the name. It's a well-known local spot with great burgers that's right on the lake. When we arrived we were a group of four and we were told it would be a 30 to 40 minute wait. We saw that the bar was completely empty so we parked ourselves there and ordered a drink. I would suggest you get the fried pickles they were delicious and my burger was outstanding. Everybody enjoyed their meals and this is a spot I will definitely be back to when I'm in the area again.

What a cool place to chill, have a cold drink and some food. My hubby got a Bloody Mary and it had so much stuff on it, was yummy. Kayleigh was our server and she was the best! Love the deco and the cow on the table was so cute in how you notify your server. You will not be disappointed

I went two days in a row because it was so good. The burger was seriously delicious. I ordered the same chicken salad both days, but on the second day, the chicken was completely overcooked—or maybe it had been pre-cooked and left out—making it dry and tough. On the first day it was tender, so the difference was disappointing. Cinthya’s service was excellent.

Food and service are both great. We have stopped here on more than one occasion and have yet to be disappointed. Tight seating area so may want to plan ahead for larger groups. Cheeseburger Mac and Cheese is now a favorite, we both split the Double Double Double and the Cheeseburger Mac and Cheese. We took over half of the Mac n Cheese home plus half of the burger. Parking is very tight especially for large vehicles. There is no room for vehicles with trailers, RVs or semis.

coming into Elkhart my partner and I saw this place and wanted to go. visiting family for vacation I invited my Aunt and cousin out for dinner. There was a wait being very crowded and there were staff issues but will have to say the bartender was excellent controlling the chaos and grabbed some seats at the bar, had a wonderful meal and drinks on point. Will have to come at a different time of day to get a better perspective but will definitely be back. MOO

Crowded and noisy bar scene on a Friday at dinner time. The waitress recommended a popular burger topped with brisket and fried onions which was very tasty although I had to trim some fat from the brisket (always a danger with brisket). There was a bit of a wait for food but the place was crowded and there were humourous signs, videos and sports programs to help pass the time. It appeared to be a locals hangout with some comfortable enough to use more than PG-13 profanity. I can't fault the restaurant for the behavior of the clientele but if you want a quieter or family experience, try the outdoor seating on the deck.

Five Star Dive Bar is a laid-back spot in Elkhart, offering a diverse menu of delicious meals such as shrimp tacos, burgers, chicken quesadillas, ribeye Philly cheesesteak, Atlantic cod basket, French dip sandwiches and personal flatbread pizza. The bar hosts comedy shows, live bands and trivia nights for entertainment.
Five Star c'mon, your game is slipping. I just paid $14 dollars for what almost amounted to a kids meal. When I asked if they were out of fries because of how little I got the server told me that the truck had not came in and they were running low. She also said I could put in another order for more fries, but I'd have to pay for them?Does that mean you cut back on your customers that are ordering? The Nashville hot chicken sandwich barely had any sauce on it when you used to load it down. This really surprised me because it was one of my go-to places to grab a bite, but I have not been there in a while. What happened while I was gone? Com'on pick it up Five Star! You do better than this!

Q was our waitress and she really made this an experience we will not forget! The food was sooo good, I wasn’t expecting a dive bar to have that good of food, especially the mozz sticks. I don’t love the building itself, but they do a good job of making it not feel as old as it is.

I was eating and a kid asked for a specific sauce and the waitress was saying that he has to be more specific and started getting smart and he said that he wanted the same thing as his sister and she started say” you don’t have to be rude, I’m a adult and ur a little kid so” then she asked the other kid if he like something else and he said no because he was sharing with his sister, then she said that he could of said no thank you an they got trespassed and assaulted because the manager gripped up both of the kids and started yelling at them. The food was nasty and there was roaches on the tables.

I ordered breaded mushrooms. I have had then several times and they are best ever. Recently I went in and 3/4 of my basket was all fried breading pieces. I had about 6 very small mushrooms. Bring back the good mushrooms please. I would rather pay more for the best, than be disappointed like I was. I'm my picture, the right is all breading.

Great place for live music and a good time! Amazing prices. Sometimes, waiting for the food takes a while-- I ordered the $5 Wednesday special cheeseburger and finished all my water and then some waiting. It's partially understandable when the place is busier over dinner hour. Would come again!

Lets start by saying please look at my previous review below. I have been here 100s of times. I spent years working just up the street a few doors and it was my favorite lunch spot. Now... today. I have ordered and enjoyed the "Bourban Chicken Salad" for years. Today it was terrible. As it comes normally, and stated on the menu, its supposed to be fresh blackened chicken on top of a house mixed salad with cheese, onion, tomato, bourbon dressing and ranch. Today it was clearly frozen chicken (not even browned) topping shredded lettuce. Few chuncks of tomatoes and cheese. What really makes it worse was talking to the manager (the owners daughter apparently) who had a "whatever" attitude, accused us of just trying to get a discount, and litterally told me that since they have changed providers that may be why the chicken isnt blackened and looks different. My girlfriend and i both had the salad and a large beer... also.. the beer was chilled but not cold and was in a plastic cup during dinner hours. I dont even mind plastic if the beer is nice and cold. That makes up for the lack of insulation in plastic lol Honestly... the real kicker was the managers attitude which made it 100% clear she didnt care. At least fake it, hit me with the customer service, i could care less about knocking $4 off a $50 meal. I also get pairing down a menu to reduce cost and overhead. But the offest is making the item you do have enjoyable and delicious! I wont be back anytime soon to find out though. Still, 2 good things from this trip: 1. our server was nice and did a good job. 2. Mozzarella stix...still awesome. My old review: Good food....try the mozzarella stix....they are hand cut, battered, deep fried cheese logs of heavenly goodness that will make your mouth happy and give your soul bliss. And the live bands on sat are fun!

This was the first time coming to this restaurant, and it was an overall good experience. Good Food, Service, and the building is really neat also. I would recommend the burgers and fried pickles here.

This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a sweet treat. They offer homemade ice cream and it definitely shows in the rich and vibrant flavors. The variety is impressive, with something for everyone and of course they have the classics. Each week, they rotate in a special flavor, which keeps things exciting. During my last visit, I tried Berry Cake, and it was just as delightful as it sounds. Every bite was creamy and packed with flavor, making it hard to have just one serving. If you're in the area, definitely check it out.

Fun place with creamy quality ice cream. Nice to relax and enjoy! Enjoyed the mint chip and my wife had the salted caramel which was fantastic!

Always nice, smiling, courteous, people who take my orders. I normally get a single pistachio ice cream in an old fashion sugar cone that truly makes my day because it tastes so delicious. I don't know how they do it, but their ice cream seems to somehow taste better there than at other places. Whatever their secret you will find yourself agreeing with me on that.

This is our favorite ice cream shop in Elkhart! We love the atmosphere and the ice cream is so creamy! Even though the ice cream is the best, what makes it even better is the manager is so friendly, loving, and compassionate. We love catching up with her when we come back to Elkhart.
Trisha W — Google review
Bright and inviting ice cream shop!! Lots of great options. Very good quality and prices. Recommend the coffee brownie swirl and triple brownie. They offer a flight which is four different flavors, which my husband and I shared. Wonderful!! If in Elkhart or just driving through, you need to give this place a try! Definitely worth a visit.

Disappointed by the lack of flexibility We came in with two excited kids hoping to redeem their summer reading rewards, only to be told the coupons had just expired and couldn't be honored. I understand policies are important, but a little grace—especially for something that encourages kids to read—would've gone a long way. The kids were disappointed, and frankly, so were we. There are plenty of other ice cream spots that value community programs and families more thoughtfully.

Wine bar
Artisan is a chic dining spot located at 505 S Main St, Elkhart, IN. It's renowned for its innovative French and New American cuisine, offering a sophisticated ambiance and top-notch service. The restaurant is highly recommended in the area and known for its iconic status. Guests can enjoy regional American fare paired with an extensive selection of wines and craft cocktails.
I found this place on OpenTable and noted that it has good reviews and the menu looked good. I got there late and sat at the bar. They weren't crowded at all, maybe only 3 tables taken and one man sitting at the bar. I was greeted quickly by the bartender and provided with menus. I ordered the Artisan Salad and the Shrimp Risotto. They came out one at a time with ample time to finish the salad before the entreé arrived. Both dishes were prepared well, had great flavor, and were good portions. I ate every bite of both! I had a great experience and look forward to returning.

I get to Elkhart about 2-3 times a year and always have at least one meal here. The food is delicious and alwaysfresh. This place is always clean and welcoming with class.Tonight is the first time writing a review, service has always been nice, but tonight’s service was beyond exceptional! Missy really knows the menu and was able to assist me by listening to my likes and dislikes from meal, drink and dessert! She made the meal a wonderful experience and I enjoyed every thing the chef prepared!

What an excellent dining experience! I enjoy sitting at the bar whenever I go out to eat, and Artisan truly sets expectations high. Missy and Jess were two of the most hospitable, warm, friendly, and inviting people behind any bar I’ve ever been to. Isabel and Abigail? Oh my gosh! Also so friendly and welcoming. The whole staff is truly exceptional. The real test of hospitality, in my opinion, is when you enter a restaurant as a solo diner and take a seat at the bar. When it’s just yourself and the bartender, among all the other guests in the restaurant, there’s a real chance that you could feel overlooked or unimportant. Possibly even lonely. But definitely not at Artisan or any of the Navarre locations that I’ve experienced. Exceptionally attentive service, great conversation, and OUTSTANDING food and beverages set Artisan aside from lots of other dining experiences in the Michiana area. The bartenders are attentive to all of their guests, and the servers are meticulously attentive of their tables without being intrusive. If you’re in the area and looking for a wonderful dining experience, whether you’re a solo diner or with a group, I highly recommend stopping into Artisan. You will leave thrilled with your experience and wanting come back as soon as possible.

If you're looking for a delightful outing filled with captivating performances, make sure to include the Lerner Theatre in your Elkhart itinerary. This historic venue, which opened its doors on November 24, 1924, was established by Harry E. Lerner with the vision of offering an extraordinary experience to its guests. Over the years, it has seen various ownership changes and was ultimately acquired by the city of Elkhart in 1990 to preserve its legacy.
Beautiful venue. Sat in a back row of the main floor and could see the stage amazingly. Concessions are a bit pricey but they have mocktails which is nice. Very clean. The architecture is gorgeous. Would definitely return.
Marlana B — Google review
The theatre is absolutely beautiful and extremely well maintained. The staff was welcoming and eager to assist. The place itself is for sure 5 🌟. However, my experience during the concert definitely wasn't. I paid over $300 to sit upfront and on the aisle. I also drove 2 hours to get there. About 3 songs in people from the "cheap seats" flooded the aisle 100% blocking our view. I had asked 3 girls to move and they obliged, only to have more people run down and take their spot. It was ridiculous! Blocking the aisle way is against fire code, but the usher hiding in the dark by the exit curtain didn't seem phased. I finally had enough and left. I spoke to a gentleman in the lobby about the situation. He apologized and offered to go in and clear the aisle, but I was done. It should never have been allowed to happen. I don't foresee ever going back, but if I do and it happens again I will call the Fire Marshall and let him fix it.

Paul, Safety Team, was so kind, caring and gracious when helping my friend in a wheelchair get from the theatre to her car post show. The Lerner Theatre is a beautiful venue. We went to see Postmodern Juxebox there. The seats were comfy. We were able to see clearly. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful theatre but absolutely horrible concert by Diana Krall. We paid $400 for front row seats and all we saw was the underside of the piano. Ms Krall has zero personality, didn't say much and never came out front to speak to the audience she just stayed at the piano. The theatre should have alerted customers that anyone on the right side of the theatre on the lower level would not see anything! Worst concert ever!!
Barbara O — Google review
Never being here before and ordering tickets from them on the internet, I was disappointed. I am claustrophobic and need an aisle seat. I was unable to choose from what was available and forced to take what I was given. Crammed into a corner, I could only see from the center of the stage to the left side. Fortunately no one else was sitting around me so avoiding a full blown panic attack. To top it off, internet said main floor was sold out, as in none were available. On show night, half the main floor was empty. I also think there should be full disclosure on ticket prices. I don’t recall exact pricing but even the most expensive ticket was less than $100. After all their added charges, two tickets were over $300 and they were not the expensive ones. Seats weren’t comfortable but I have suffered through much worse at other venues. It is a beautiful theatre and appears well maintained.

We shot a wedding in 2021 with the ceremony over at the Wellfield Botanic Gardens and then we ended the night with the reception in the Crystal Ballroom of the Lerner Theatre. The ballroom was large and elegant. Everything ran smoothly and the couple was very pleased with the experience. If you are looking to have your wedding in Elkhart - I would definitely recommend a similar timeline for your day. The ceremony at the gardens was beautiful and it is only a short drive over to the Lerner Theatre. The time that it takes for the guests to drive over is like a built-in portrait session for bride and groom after the ceremony!

This museum in a freight yard celebrates travel on the historic 11,000-mile NY Central Railroad.
This place has a mix of history and entertainment. Learn about how the railroad helped grow Elkhart and our country. See the working model train display. Ride the mini train outside. A good kids area inside as well. It won't take your whole day and won't break the bank. The people there are great too!

My toddler loves this museum and so do my husband and I. The museum boasts many informative exhibits as well as interactive things for children and their parents alike. Affordable at $6/ adults, children 3 and under are free! Offering train rides on their amusement mini train with fun facts. If it is sunny it may get a bit warm as the train cars don't have covers (open air) so be sure to have hats and sunscreen on small children. Cool piece of history being preserved by enthusiasts is such a delight to learn from. 10/10 recommend.

We really enjoyed learning about the history of the New York Central Railroad. The museum offers a lot of fascinating displays, and I especially appreciated being able to get up close and even inside some of them — the E8 Diesel was a highlight! Our experience was made even more enjoyable thanks to a volunteer named Taylor. She was extremely knowledgeable about the engines and railcars in the rail yard, and it was an absolute pleasure to have her give us a tour. I highly recommend finding her for a tour; you’ll learn just as much as we did. Thanks again, Taylor! — Rick and family Delaware, Ohio

My dad grew up in Elkhart Indiana and was a railroad man so of course we had to go and visit the railroad museum and what a great place to visit. So many memories came back to me while visiting this museum and it was really nice to reconnect and see how the railroad has evolved over the years. Kids would love it parents love it everybody loves it ,it's a really neat place to go and visit and touch and see and see how the railroad industry has taken off through this country has made it what it is!

What's not to like about a train museum?🚂 They are all about American history👨🏻‍🏫 This one is right across the tracks from the actual Elkhart Amtrak station. At least once an hour, usually twice, a real train goes right by the parking lot! And each museum always has something unique. For me this one had a giant locomotive! A 4-6-2😲 it's just incredible how big these are! And if that isn't big enough for you, continue walking down the track and you will see an even bigger crane built onto a rail car. Simply amazing engineering..🤩

Very nice place for a date night or super nice family dinner. Service was speedy, and the waiter gave me a take away pop without needing too, something i appreciated as I normally only drink 1 glass of anything when I go out. Only for the waiter/waitress bring me a drink I don't touch. We had burgers and they were cooked perfectly as a medium rare. We find most places never cook it properly, not here! It was delicious. Highly recommend the main street or elk burger

Craving a satisfying lunch spot in Elkhart? Look no further than 523 Tap & Grill! I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and let me tell you, it was an experience that deserves a full 5-star review. Flavorful Wraps & Satisfying Burgers: My taste buds did a happy dance with the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. The grilled chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, with crispy bacon adding a delightful crunch. The cheddar cheese melted beautifully, blending seamlessly with the fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and creamy ranch dressing. The choice of spinach or sun-dried tomato tortilla was a nice touch, and I opted for the spinach, which provided a healthy and flavorful base. My dining companion opted for the Main Street Burger, and it was a sight to behold. This burger wasn't messing around! It boasted a perfectly cooked patty topped with delicious cheddar cheese, savory mushrooms, and crispy fried onion strings. The lettuce and tomato added a refreshing touch, while the BBQ-ranch sauce tied everything together with a sweet and tangy kick. Each bite was a delicious explosion of textures and flavors. Beyond the Food: The atmosphere at 523 Tap & Grill was both polished and inviting. The service was friendly and attentive, ensuring our lunch experience was smooth and enjoyable. We particularly appreciated the helpful recommendations from our server, who guided us towards the perfect lunch choices. Overall Impression: Whether you're craving a flavorful wrap or a hearty burger, 523 Tap & Grill has something for everyone. The quality of the food, coupled with the attentive service and inviting atmosphere, makes this a top contender for your next lunchtime outing in Elkhart. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return to explore their menu further!

523 Tap & Grill was a perfect venue for a post event celebration with team members. The staff was able to organize a larger table setting for our group of 8 within a short time. The service was great, and the food was delicious. The Tableside Saganaki was a treat to see and extremely tasty. Since it was late, our team ordered appetizers and shared between us. It was more than enough for a late snack. I have also had lunch here and was pleased as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was laid back and chill. I highly recommend 523 if you are in the area.

Food was delicious. Flavorful. We had the grilled Brie and I would recommend that one to everyone. My husband had the sea bass which was great! I had the ribeye with vegetables and the taste was awesome. The only thing I’d suggest is less herb butter on top of the steak. There was way too much.

A spur of the moment decision led us to 523 Tap & Grill. I was a little worried that it would be spectacularly busy on a Saturday night, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant fairly quiet! We were seated instantly, which was also a pleasant surprise! I started with the Peachy Keen, a whiskey cocktail with ginger beer and Crown Peach, which was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Grilled Brie as an appetizer and I think it maybe have been the best appetizer I've ever had. Not only did it come out quick and thoroughly warmed through, but the crostinis were nice and crispy with the perfect amount of chewy middle. The savory Brie with the sweet blackberry and pickled currants was insanely good; the almond crumble on top made it definitely the best bite I've had in the last year. Even my partner, who is notoriously picky, loved it. The only thing I would change is a couple more crostinis; maybe next time I won't share at all! A quick note about the service: it was very fast. We had only just finished up our appetizer when our main courses came out. Our waitress, Elizabeth, was very polite and stopped by our table enough to keep our drinks filled and orders taken, but not at all overbearing. For entrees, I got the 523 Signature Salad with chicken and my partner got the Plum Tasty burger (plum sauce on the side). Whoever's idea it was to put the spiced pumpkin seeds in the salad is truly a genius. I could've eaten them by the handful. The chicken was nicely seasoned and a perfectly savory compliment to the sweet and tangy vinaigrette. My only complaint was that I would've loved more of those pumpkin seeds!!! My partner's burger was very nicely cooked, just on the pink side of medium. His only complaint was the amount of cheese, saying that it sometimes over powered the burger. Going forward, I will recommend this restaurant to literally every one I know in Michiana. I think we've definitely found our new special occasion dinner spot!
