@May.2025 I stopped for bathroom, turned out it was a nice place to take a rest on your long drive. There are a cafe where you can eat cheap and a shop where they are selling small local souvenirs, quite a lot of selection. You can take tourist information here as well, they have many brochures for free. The lady at the entrance was very nice.

This is a beautiful stop while traveling. i highly recommend finding the colorful patio chairs and entering there for anyone with mobility issues right as the walk from the main entrance is quite cumbersome. If there is not a wheelchair or scooter in use. That particular door will take you directly to the restrooms. If you would like to see the many, many, the works of art for sale, they are displayed boutique style, and it's really a beautiful place. The workers could smile more up front. But once you get through the first corridor the people behind that counter are really friendly and welcoming.

My first time here. Saw a couple things I liked but I can buy the same things elsewhere for less money and in better condition so I left them. But there is a large assortment there so I’m giving it two stars.

Know what you're getting in to and you will be glad you came. This is a booth rental consignment space and the booths range from curated antiques to piles of hoarder treasure/trash that are not at all organized. It is weirdly dim but a very fun place to hunt weird or unique pieces.

Great coffee. Silent place in the square we may have felt out of our comfort zone or like we may have been disturbing the guests since we had a two year old with us and he was tapping away and everyone else was so quiet. But we actually felt very welcomed the server was funny and very accommodating to us even with a little kid, he played with him and even gave him some freaky little toy to play with. The food was nothing to write joke about but the coffee was on point.

We had never been to Berea before, and stumbled across it, then we found this great coffee shop. We had a sandwich, soup and some great latte's. Adam and his staff chatted with us and told us all about the town. We loved this coffee shop experience so much we actually considered moving here to Berea! What a friendly place it must be. Great Service! Great Location! As for the coffee, they have a bunch of Monin flavors to put in your late. Nothing too fancy, but it was good! Also, great sandwiches.

The lasagna is delicious, the pizza is okay. I thought it would be better. The walls where you sit in the booths are dirty. People who work there are okay but it didn't feel that welcoming to be honest. Presentation of the food was great tho.

My wife and I were traveling from Ohio to Berea for our daughter’s college soccer game and wanted to try something local instead of a chain restaurant. Papa Leno’s came highly rated, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! I ordered the 10” Meat Lovers pizza, and it was excellent — you could tell the dough was made fresh, with just the right amount of crisp and chew. Every bite had that perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. The restaurant itself had a great small-town, lively vibe. There was a line out the door when we arrived, but it moved quickly. While ordering, we could see the staff tossing dough and preparing food right in front of us — you can tell they take pride in what they do. Overall, Papa Leno’s didn’t disappoint. If you’re in Berea and craving good pizza with a welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely the spot to check out!

BEST PIZZA EVER!! My parents had their first date in college here. It's never disappointed our family. We always eat here a couple times when we come to visit. Big slice cannot be beat. I've tried to find pizza similar in our area, but nothing can touch it. Side salads are so fresh and delicious house made ranch. Bread is so yummy and fluffy! Tiramisu is good, but the chocolate chip cookie is even better! They sell out of cookies fast. Don't miss the best pizza🍕😋

Italian bread 1/2 sandwich with one piece of ham, one piece of salami and I slice of cheese, onions one tomato and no lettuce. The most disappointing was the 1/16 of meat to 3" of bread. Philly was very dry, no flavor, chewy, grissle and again massive amount of flavorless bread and the meat that was on the sandwich was gross. Nobody came by to ask how it was and left hungry. Complete waste. 1st and the last time we will visit Berea. Went out of our way to come check out this town. Has some charm to the town and the art center was cool. Perhaps if we got lasagna, manicotti or an actual Italian dish our anything without bread our experience would have been better? Who knows, but we will never find out. Pic down what we left behind.

One of Berea's best local restaurants in my opinion. It is consistently great food and service. Kid friendly and quick. I recommend any of their pizzas!

You place your order upon walking in, get your own drink, then find a seat, they will bring it to you. I love this!!! No waiting for a server to come by and fill your drink or check on you right as you take a bite. The food was excellent and the price affordable. My husbands pizza was really good, and I loved the manicotti!!! They put an incredible amount of cheese on their dishes which is always a plus in my book! Will definitely stop by here again the next time we are in town.

Located near Berea College, this place hits all the high notes: Good pizza, a variety of Italian dishes and sandwiches, fast and friendly service and reasonably priced. We stopped by for lunch while visiting Berea and were very pleased with everything about the place. We split a salad and a 10 inch pizza and had a great lunch at a very reasonable price. You grab a table and a menu, then walk up to the counter and place your order. A server will then bring your food to your table. You have to pay when you place your order which I don't like but in this case it worked out OK. Plastic forks and foam plates so not high class! Beer and wine are available and parking is free on the street. Recommended.

Nice park.. looks to be for athletic events.. 1 pavilion for the public to use. Bathroom 100 yards from pavilion. Really didn't see a per say picnic area. Maybe we just did not see it. Lots of fields, thou. Not one being used. Kinda funny, a really nice park on a beautiful day, and we saw 5 people at playground. Only saw 4 people on walking trails.

It seemed more of a sports park for children when we thought it was a picnic area.

Nice and relaxing for adults. Great big shade trees with green grass. Not much for kids other than lots of room to run. Definitely needs more benches. There isn't any restrooms.

What a wonderful history lesson of Berera, Kentucky!! Out standing shops with local artists and hand crafts. But the people are so warm and friendly! This is a must see if you are in Berea, Kentucky! Make your day absolutely amazing and never stop moving forward!!

There are brochures with area attractions and maps. Also a train room with a model of the town and trains. Surrounded by artisans- woodworker, glassblowing etc.

Love this artist area. From the restored train station, to the restored log cabin. They have a little bit of something for everyone.

The welcome center is a neat little place with a couple of artisan shops around it. The staff were very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed some of the artifacts of the town they had.

Welcome center in the heart of Berea has ample parking, museum, court yard, benches, tourist maps, city legend information, history details and several local artist galleries. Three unsettling hand sculptures are located in the courtyard of the Welcome center.

This was our 2nd time stopping here and sure it won’t be the last! Great place to stop and eat good home cooked tasting meals! From burgers, meat loaf meal, potato soup, beans and cornbread, to breakfast, there’s much to choose from! We had the blackberry cobbler ala mode and oh my goodness!😋Great atmosphere! Nice sized gift shop as well! Great food and staff! **They do charge a 3.95% fee on all credit/debit card transactions! Just a forewarning!

Traveling to the Bera Craft Fair and stopped for lunch. The place reminds me of Cracker Barrel, but the dining area is not crowded with ample sized tables. Two of us had the turkey dinner and portions were large. They loved the flavor! I had the pork dinner and it was very good. The pork was tender and moist. Server was quick and attentive. A very good overall experience!

I definitely would recommend this place to others! We were first time diners and we LOVED it! Not only was the food amazing, the staff showed us such exceptional hospitality, too!! Don't forget to check out the Blessings Board at the entrance to the diner. It is where patrons can purchase or receive a pre-paid meal ticket for those in need of a meal. What an amazing way to bring the community together in such a very friendly family owned business with longevity in the area. My wife and I stayed in motel close by this place and after reading the reviews she decided we would go here for breakfast. ( another lesson learned don't always go off what u read on reviews). The gravy had no taste and no sausage was just pepper gravy and the biscuits were what I thought to be yesterday's leftover. Wife ordered bacon but wanted soft bacon and it was crispy instead. I wouldn't recommend this place for breakfast.

We stumbled across this place today while we were traveling and we absolutely loved it! I got the chicken and dumplings which could’ve had more chicken. I absolutely loved the fried green tomatoes, best ever! And the green beans were good. My husband had the fried pork tenderloin. Delicious! I hope they stay in business for a long time !

Solid stop after our hike at The Pinnacles. Food was nothing fancy, just good, simple food. I had fried pickles as an app which was yummy, and then a burger and fries. They also have knick knacks Ala Cracker Barrel. A nice stop?

Fabulous cozy friendly restaurant. Skip the big chain place and go here! Seated immediately for breakfast. Vast menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Service was friendly and food was quick. I'm not one for leaving Google reviews, but I really felt this little gem needed to be shared. My stay at Boone Tavern Hotel was an experience no regular hotel could beat. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a warm, homey charm of yesteryear that set the tone for the whole visit. The manager, Donna, was friendly and incredible attentive to make sure we had everything needed—from room details to local weekend events. Her knowledge of the area and the way she spoke about Berea College’s mission and the students who help run the hotel added a deeper sense of purpose to our stay. Ms. Donna shared recent updates and showed us the sitting rooms that open to the large front porch - perfect for evening reading or front-porch-rocking. The room was cozy and full of character, more like a charming bed and breakfast than a typical hotel. Clearly honoring the hotel’s rich history. The on-site restaurant was excellent, and every staff member/college student we met was friendly and helpful. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’m really glad to have stayed here—and even more glad to recommend it.

This place is very nice and in a very safe area. If you like restaurants and bars within walking distance from your hotel, this is not the place for you. There were very few restaurant choices nearby. There was a neaerby pizza place. However, the restaurant in the hotel is very nice, and the bar was great, with good drink options. The food is higher-end (better than bar food). The service in the hotel and bar was great. Our absolute only complaint was the room. The bed frames were somewhat antique-looking and very squeaky with every move, the mattresses were too soft for us. Some may find them comfortable though. THe bathroom is small with a bathtub/shower, not a lot of space for "stuff" like makeup, etc..... Overall though, we had a nice stay.

We always stay at the Boone Tavern whenever visiting Berea. Each room's furniture is hand crafted and every room feels elegant, yet homey. Beds are very comfy, and the restaurant in the hotel is top notch. We love how the Berea college students help to run it. It is central to everything in town, with amazing food right near by. It's always so clean. If an event is going on, be aware parking fills up very quickly. They even give alumni a discount. Can't wait for our next trip!

We decided to stay here while travelling through Kentucky. It's a pretty fancy place on the National Historic Register. Located next to Berea KY College, it's in the heart of Berea which makes traffic a problem at times. Our room were nice enough but didn't look nearly as nice as the ones pictured on their website. But our biggest gripe was the window air conditioner that left a lot to be desired from a noise perspective. It was only a few feet from the head of the bed and closing the curtains to keep the light out at night completely blocked the air flow from the window A/C unit! What were they thinking? And being right in the heart of Berea, the traffic noise was more than expected. They have a nice restaurant but a limited menu and a beautiful lobby. The bathroom was roomy and the bed was comfortable. Free parking in their lot. We booked online but I would recommend calling directly so you don't get a room with a window A/C.

We stayed overnight, and had two double beds in our room. The room, while not large, was comfortable, beautifully appointed and very clean. The beds were quite comfortable and we slept great. We splurged and dined at the hotel restaurant. Our server was Kiley. She was friendly, professional and gave great service. The food was absolutely delicious. We very rarely eat out at such a pricey restaurant but for the food, service and ambiance it was totally worth it. We would highly recommend.

My wife and I have been diners at Boone Tavern for over 12 years. We’ve seen the near constant carnations over time and recently visited with our young son. First, the new decor, with the homemade crafts on the wall and the dark blue paint, would be fine for a lounge. However, it lacks a sense of majesty, for lack of a better term, for the formal dining room. The menu is overpriced given the quality of the food. I ordered the hot brown which was underwhelming ordinary with its deli ham and turkey and grocery store bread (think Butternut). My wife ordered the fried green tomato and pimento cheese sandwich. For some reason, half of the sandwich was so salty, it was not edible. We mentioned it to our server, who advised us she would inform the kitchen. The tomato and panzanella salad was quite good; however the bowls that it was served in would topple quite easily. The service, never the restaurants strong suit, was inattentive. The salads came at the exact same time the entrees were served. It three requests for a second helping of the spoon bread. Beverages are served in small glasses and we had to request refills. The young waitress was friendly however. We happened to be on our way home from a trip to Eastern Kentucky. In the past, Boone Tavern was a destination restaurant for us as we live approximately an hour away. Over the past several years, we’ve visited less often due to the overall decline in the whole experience. The Sunday brunch was done away with and now the restaurant has completely lost its charm. We won’t be back for a long time, possibly never. It’s just not worth the trip.

We have eaten here twice. Once was 3 years ago and I’m am pleasantly surprised the food has gotten much better since then. We had a group of 8 which we made reservations but when we arrived they sat us at 2 different tables and refused to push tables together to accommodate the party sitting together. If you plan on splitting a party up, you should mention that on the front end or accommodate when it is a problem. We had family in from multiple states, it was unfortunate we couldn’t all sit together.

Spent shop local Saturday in Berea and spotted this place just in time for lunch. It did not disappoint! Great service, very friendly, and delicious food! My husband sticks to paleo(meat and veggies) and they easily made him a delicious plate! He had Asada and veggies, my daughter and I tried a chicken tamale, bean and cheese tamale, corn in a cup, and an asada gordita. Highly recommend and very adorable and quick!

By far the THE best Mexican food I've had in Kentucky. Their Chicken Pozole was absolutely amazing. I've also had their tacos al pastor. Chips and especially the salsa was delicious. Definitely worth a stop.

Wonderful familybowne and business!!!!! Everything made in house guacamole and chips great, chille rellenos for dinner wife had tacos very tasty and for an appetizer three tamales (bean and cheese pork and chicken) would have like some red sauce with but taste was AWESOME!!!! The most deliciously authentic Mexican cuisine around. You get what you pay for and then some. Not to mention really friendly folks who go out of their way to make your experience everything it can be. 10/10 recommend!

An absolute gem in Berea, Kentucky. We gave this establishment a try the first week they opened and the amazing food and service keeps us coming back. They have expanded their menu over the past year their business continues to grow. It is a family owned operation with a competent, friendly, and efficient staff. Stop in for lunch or dinner soon, the garden is lovely and at its peak!

It is a super cute place. The place was very clean and the staff was nice. Food is authentic Mexican style. My wife and I ordered steak tacos, street corn, and a chicken tamale. Nothing was extra ordinary, but everything was delicious. Definitely one of the better tamales I've eaten. 4.3 I recommend.

Tacos al pastor and gorditas de pollo are delicious! Restaurant is cute and staff are friendly. Will be back to try other dishes (and to stock up on Takis)!

Don't order the gyro. Hardly any meat and it honestly tasted like microwaved food. They used to have fantastic gyros so I was saddened after trying one since I've not eaten it in a couple years. The service was typical of most fast food restaurants. Nothing really negative but nothing special. I'm disappointed and it will probably be last on my fast food list for a good while.

You ask for crinkle fries and I get over half curly fries. I don’t know if they’re being a smart Alec or what the deal is, but I’m getting fed up with the service that we get out in public these days. So Arby’s you stink, I won’t ever be back so have a great day! I also called them on the phone and they won’t answer their phone either. I am going to stop eating out at fast food restaurants because it’s a joke anymore so great job Arby’s in Berea Ky !

The past two times I've been through the drive-thru at Arby's in Berea they are out of roast beef. I don't understand how a place like Arby's can keep the doors open if they are out of roast beef. The first time it was about 7:00 in the evening so I ordered chicken sandwiches and then had to pull up and wait. If you're not cooking roast beef why would you not make up chicken to have ready and the second time it was about 11:00, 1 hour before closing, so I ordered nothing. That night I made a special trip and I live about 10 minutes away . I like Arby's but I won't be back to that one.

Worst experience there ever first we were supposed to have meals two of those were not made meals then we added cheddar to those that were supposed to be meals and got a dang regular piece of cheese on our roast beef left off drinks no sauce for our buffalo wings

Ordered at 5:21am didn't get it until t:31am because they focused all the attention to drive through...and I got a mcgriddle sausage sandwich instead of sausage egg and cheese...got to my seat and opened it up...was a sausage muffin...3 times I had to get my breakfast fixed...I watched as they got an older gentleman whoyst have been a regular get his food fast ..this is sad and the ticket said eat in and was given a bag then had to wait as the lady took the bag and put it on a tray...it should be help the people in the ORDER they come whether in drive through or counter... quality instead of quantity...and READ....READ and pay attention to the tickets... My mistake for trying to get a quick bite to eat...I'll eat at the truck stop and at least I'll get to have a hot breakfast and it's cheaper

McDonald's fan here... and I wont be going to this location again. This one (Glades Road) has been hit or miss over the last couple of months, but I am really tired of waiting for an order that is more often than not incorrect, and the consistent absense of sauce with the McNuggets, and other missing condiments. I am slow to leave a review if it cant be positive, but I think if there was going to be an improvement, it would have happened by now. Customers need to know. And while I'm at it, can't someone center the beef patties on the bun? Geez!

I clearly should have known better. I won't be returning. Had to park and wait on the order to be finished. Asked for condiments that were never received. The restaurant was not busy today so I feel like this was done on purpose.

They gave me the wrong order twice. And then tried to blame it on the high schoolers that were in there, said they stole it. It's also impossible to get a refund when you do a mobile order. So I definitely would not recommend ordering online.

I thought "man it's been 9 months since I've been here they can't still suck. Sure it took me a half hour to get my breakfast last time and a manger to figure out how to do a round egg but that was so long ago. It's been months they can't still suck" Jokes on me. This location is garbage. 20 minutes for hot cookies and cold food, hard bread, saltless cold fries and God forbid you don't have 20 mintues to wait cuz no matter what I'm parked. How do you park me and still give me cold old food?? Garbage and a waste of money

Don't try to use your app early in the morning. The manager running the store doesn't know how to work the computers. 3 separate times i had to leave and wait for a refund because she couldn't work the computers

I only ever come to the McD on this side if town when it's more convenient. If I have the time I always go to the other one because this one is so hit or miss. Wish I was exaggerating at any of this, but the boy taking my order had long hair that was down and halfway over his face, he was literally texting while taking the order. They sat out the food and I had to flag someone down to get me the 4 drinks, and then they just sat the cups out and ran away and it was me and a 5 year old so I had to flag them down again to get a drink carrier. The fountain drink spot was gross, pop spilled all over it. Then I got out of there and took a drink and realized they had the unsweet in the sweet tea container 🥲

It was pretty good, but they mixed up the different style of noodles between the bowls, so we weren't able to get the "full" experience of the true dish. We ordered Togo and took to a park.

Dropped by for a to-go order the other day and loved it!! FOOD: Super good. Simple and few but great in options. Works primarily as a build your own noodle bowl. Great options for vegetarian and vegan diners. I got the mama's bowl and it was amazing. Love the curry so much. COST:Great prices for what you get! VERY filling food. Amazing bang for your buck LOCATION: Super clean restaurant, smaller inside with few seating options. Very cute and clean. WORKERS: All the workers looked happy and not in a forced manner. The effort they gives shows they probably are given a fair wage. NOTES: Togo orders are nicely prepared. They keep the broth in a separate container for you so when you are ready to eat you can then mix everything keeping it all fresh.

Transcendent! This place is like a portal into a big city’s trendy neighborhood eatery. Even more impressive than the chic design is the social mission — the founder uses her non-profit background and a portion of the restaurant’s proceeds to benefit a rotation of local causes. While I was there, it was Hospice Care Plus. Oh, and my bowl of glass noodles with peanut sauce and all the fixings was delish. I was sad when I got to the bottom.

Let me start this off by saying this place makes a delicious curry! The coconut curry with beef and tofu is absolutely amazing and deserves to be tried. They also serve these delicious banana Nutella rolls which are definitely worth picking up and are very reasonably priced. The only thing I would say that would improve the place is if they would give you actual glasses or cups so you could have some ice water instead of just the small cups you fill yourself. Overall, this is definitely a place you will want to try and I will definitely be back when I return to Berea!

TLDR: Traveling to Berea to enjoy the hiking trails, you wouldn't expect to find a whole lot of unique food. Noodle Nirvana is an excellent spot to eat at. I love when places have more than just the standard small town restaurants. So, Noodle Nirvana piqued my interest. I really enjoyed the mom's curry. It was salty, nutty, and balanced. The toppings were so perfect in the broth. I would love to return and try out the other dishes!

First time here , since they have been at Boone square . Ordered online . Stated ready in 30 minutes , but was ready in 15 ! Had the Pad Thai , with ramen noodles which was fantastic ! The spring rolls , were awesome . If I could give more than 5 stars , I would !

What a great concept. Many combinations to suit any taste and with such a simple ingredient list. The food is delicious, the employees are friendly and engaging, and the tips all go to charity, what a great business.

I finally managed to come here for a post hike dinner. The service is amazing, our server, Kiley, was very attentive and accommodating. I’m very pleased that the staff was welcoming of my mobility service dog (in training) as this was a good training opportunity for him in a fine dining establishment. We are very excited to come back. The food was delicious and plated beautifully.

My husband and I had planned to stay here a few months back, admittedly on our way to visit Bucees and Jungle Jims. We thought exploring Berea would be fun! The hotel is beautiful and is on a quaint corner of a small college town. The whole square with shops and food is connected to the hotel, so that made wondering around in the evening enjoyable. Checking in was easy & the two gentlemen at the front desk were efficient and welcoming. I love the charm of having a physical brass key. I wish they sold souvenirs of key replicas. The hotel is historic and our host reminded us to make sure to turn the master switch on or our room may get “real historic” , that cracked us up. Our room was on the third floor and at the very end of the hall. It was such a beautiful room with handmade furnishings from the college students. I will say, our bed was very creeky, take that as you will. The room came with robes but was missing the slippers, no big deal but I loved the little detail of feeling right at home. There was Keurig machine and a mini fridge in the room as well. It was about 94 degrees during our stay and our room stayed pretty cool, could have been cooler but could have been warmer. We explored down to the restaurant and the Frost cafe during our stay and were not disappointed. We did a little exploring of the floors and found a beautiful study room on the second floor and it was nice to read the historical information provided and get a pretty view from the street. Overall, I was pleased with our stay at the hotel. Regarding Frost Cafe, I’m not seeing a separate listing for the cafe but we were so impressed by the hotels cafe! Our barista, a young gentleman was so fantastic! He helped us pick our morning coffee & made one of the best caramel macchiatos I’ve had! Hats off to him! The cafe offered many latte and coffee options! Regarding the restaurant, we tired the famous spoon bread and were pleased with how fresh it came out! It had more of an eggy taste than I was expecting but was very unique and delicious! The French onion soup was good, lacked a little bit of flavor for my preference but still yummy! For an appetizer we ordered the cauliflower buffalo bites and the spinach and artichoke dip. Both were good but nothing outstanding. The cauliflower bites were very standard & the chips they served with the dip reminded me of something from a store bought bag, however both were tasty! We both got the Cobb salad and really enjoyed it! A nice big portion.

About 58 years ago was the first time that I came to the Boone Tavern in Berea Kentucky. It was very special when my sisters and I got to eat at the Tavern. We would practice our manners under our mother's guidance so that when we went to the restaurant, we would act like young ladies. We craved the spoon bread that was served at the restaurant. Our parents would let us eat our weight in spoon bread because we liked it so much. This visit, so many years later, was such a joy! My sister and I, along with her husband and my boyfriend, had dinner before we went to a show. The place is newly remodeled in colors of blue and yellow. It is beautiful! All of the décor matches beautifully the walls of the restaurant. The setting areas are gorgeous. There are pictures throughout the hotel and restaurant, explaining the history of the hotel and restaurant, along with how the students play a part in the community. We did have a reservation and were promptly seated at 5 PM. We were so pleasantly surprised with how much the restaurant has changed throughout the years. Again, I tell you, it's beautiful! A bar was added to the restaurant that is very pretty, and there are many bartenders to serve. Our waitress did a very good job of explaining food to us and offering suggestions along with suggestions for drinks. The spoon bread did not disappoint us. In fact, my sister had two plates of it! The pretzel coated trout was excellent. The mixture of flavors along with the potatoes and vegetables underneath the trout, we're cooked to perfection. My brother-in-law said the ribs were excellent. The meat fell off the bone. He absolutely loved his meal. We dined for approximately two hours. We were not rushed at all, and we had the best time ever. If I get the opportunity to return to the Boone Tavern, I certainly will. I recommend that you go there, too.

Boone Tavern has a limited but upscale menu that changes seasonally. I had the Waygu burger and requested French fries instead of squash. They met my request and fresh cut the fries. They brought me many refills. For free the brought out the best spoon bread I have ever had with strawberry butter and orange butter. It was only 2 dollars more than a Big Mac meal but it was so delicious and much healthier! The staff are friendly and just plain fabulous!

I am so happy we stopped into the hotel. This place is wonderful. The atmosphere took me back in history. Love the colonial look inside and out. The dinning room was spectacular, flawless. We had lunch and I could not stop saying how good every thing was. The Kentucky Hot Brown blew my hubby away. Thank you to the staff for making this an exceptional stop.

The place is gorgeous, great service but the food was okay. I got the duck and it wasn’t that great and the sides mashed potatoes and roasted carrots had minimal flavor. My wife had the fillet and she liked it. She also liked the French onion soup. Bread pudding is good.

I grew up in paint lick which is only about a 15-20 minute drive from Boone Tavern and have never dined in for a meal so we decided to go for it. Little did we know that it would be an amazing experience. The service (which is mostly ran by Berea College students) is awesome. The food was nothing short of fantastic and I highly recommend the birds nest. The atmosphere is grand and I was kicking myself wondering why I’ve never had the pleasure to enjoy the experience of dining at Boone Tavern although I grew up so close to it. It’s a meal and experience that must be had for anyone dining in Berea for dinner. Don’t forget the spoon bread!

Beautiful crafts from local artisans, make sure to stop! We were staying down the road and walked here from our hotel, it’s in a great location for that! I bought a hand made mug and a ceramic charm necklace. Reasonably priced, lovely staff and lots of interesting things to browse! We were visiting from Columbus, Ohio.

Gorgeous building inside and out! Great selection of items inside of a warm and cozy, yet spacious interior. There is an upstairs area with a rather narrow staircase, but I don't remember if there is an elevator for access? The layout is easy to navigate, and items are staged well, which makes you want to explore every bit of the building. The employees were kind and attentive.

The Log House Craft Gallery showcases a wide range of unique handmade items from artists across Kentucky. It's a delightful destination for exploration, with most items priced very affordably.

I was in need of a quick wedding gift. After visiting several Berea craft galleries, Log House Craft Gallery had just what I was looking for. I actually bought an additional item for a future Christmas gift. It is just a stones throw from Boone Tavern Hotel.

Beautiful crafts, well worth the a visit. Unique and unusual gifts, definitely find something for everyone of every age. Very much enjoyed browsing, and very pleased with my purchases.

Had A wonderful visit here. We walked through the gallery and enjoyed talking with the employees. They were all very nice. There are some very nice pieces in the gallery. I will be back. If you are nearby drop in and relax and browse through.

A very nice experience for a family to view. Everything is handmade. The pricing is very high and the gallery is not shy. Lol! They absolutely try to take advantage of their location. It would be refreshing to see a reasonably priced art center that let artists actually sell to a community. There is a variety of items available The artistry is quite good. I would say that rethinking the situation would be beneficial. I didn't see anyone buying and it was quite crowded. My family would have readily purchased something but simply couldn't.

I had lunch here for the first time. The cafe is beautifully decorated. The service was just okay. The staff seemed a little strained and rushed. The food was well priced and was not bad but not spectacular.

I can summarize by saying they have fresh pressed coffee 😁. But I'll add. It's a beautiful building and the owners, food and staff will not disappoint.

A great little breakfast spot in Berea! Perfect for meeting with friends or just relaxing alone with a coffee. I had a creme Brule bagel with a berry mocha. Both were fantastic! I also recommend the little antique shop across the road. Good coffee, bagels, and antiques can't be beat! I will be back!

So I orders the breakfast as the lady in the washing place recommended me this place so I get the bagel avocado , sausage and eggs well done as asked but butter cream or jam was not served with the breakfast while they give me butter once I asked for it . Fairly good breakfast bagels were nice too but nothing extraordinary . But a good place for the size of town to try and have a good morning . Coffee was fine I have yet to try the pumpkin latte next time if ever I pass throw this town while Doing my cross country bicycle ride ..

We came to Native Bagel for brunch and were not disappointed. The bagels were obviously fresh and so delicious. We each had a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. An iced dirty chai with oat milk and a creamy cold brew. The people were friendly and helpful with recommendations of what to do in the area. The place was clean including the restrooms. Fun tidbit is that this place closes in the afternoon and reopens as a bar in the evening.

This is a hidden gem of Kentucky. The food is phenomenal, no matter what you get. The staff are sweet and know the locals by name. Lattes are excellent (though I like mine half sweet personally). The interior design is welcoming and full of greenery. They have a dinner restaurant called Nightjar at night which is also great. But my favorite is Native Bagel!

We always love coming to the native bagel! Their bagel are the best ever! I got the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. So yummy, their meat and eggs comes from the college farm, and their sauce was fantastic. My coffee was a little disappointing though. Definitely over extracted, as it was very bitter. I couldn't even taste the pumpkin spice flavoring. Get there early if you want the lemon berry bagel. We've sadly never been able to get one as they see out so fast. Food is great, but maybe it was just a bad day for coffee.

We placed a to-go order today. It was a simple, two-bagel and coffee order. When I arrived around 11 am, they were extremely busy. I waited in line to let them know I had arrived for pickup. When spoke to the woman taking orders, she was rude and said it would be put on the counter next to the door, stating they were a little behind and busy while holding up multiple tickets to show me. I said, “Thank you, no problem.” I waited. About 20 minutes later the same woman carried two bags over to the to-go area, yelling one name for the other order, but not ours. I asked as she passed behind the bar if that was ours and she said, “Yes, it’s over there.” Not handing it to me, I had to go around multiple people to get to it. I picked it up, then waited another 10 minutes for the coffee for the order for the exact same thing to happen. A name was called with two drinks, one of them not ours. Our order was said on the counter and she looked at me as she passed behind the bar and I again had to ask because I didn’t want to touch someone else’s drink. Again, I said “thank you.” To Native Bagel Company: I recognize it’s a Saturday morning, and you are busy, which I understand. However, service like this should be unacceptable. There is no excuse for rudeness given the cost of your food. My family goes there frequently to support your local business. It seems you would want to keep people coming back with kindness rather than rudeness to drive them away, busy or otherwise. You have a great atmosphere for people, perhaps you’d want to keep them coming back.

Highly recommended. Not a fan of bagels but still stopped in from driving by and seeing an outdoor seat for my dog and I. Extremely impressed I do say. Must try this style of bagel. Staff was so welcoming and I thank you for the five star experience. I will be back 🥯

I had high hopes because of the many great reviews. Sadly, the indoor location is not ADA accessible. I brought my scooter and the lot was very uneven, with loose gravel and then there was no ramp or smooth way to go inside without possibly damaging my scooter so we left. The 1 outdoor vendor selling meat was very over priced. $28 for 2 lbs of beef stew meat. I understand that it is local and grass fed but that is still very expensive for just 2lbs.

I bought a loaf of persimmon bread from the Oriental woman who is from Mcee. She is an excellent preparer of natural products, and I ate part and saved part. I also tried a Chinese pear and bought one. What a pleasure it is to eat such food. And when I woke up this morning I felt great.

It's a cool little spot to get some local foods and items. We enjoy supporting the people there. There may be 10-15 setup any given Saturday

I love the cheese vending and outside a group makes egg croissant sandwiches and they are worth traveling several miles for. Using food stamps is quirky. Pay with cash but bring enough. Meet and eggs are great

Lots of choices. Fruits, vegetables, plants, meat, homemade items....and much more. Even live music and sometimes activities for the kiddos. We love our local Farmer's Market!

Great selection of produce, mushrooms, cheese and the main reason I make the 50 minute drive is for Backwoods Bakery's sour dough bread. It's the best!

Look this place is amazing, but coming from someone who travels and eats at new restaurants, I have ate at night jar several times and tried different food items…everything tastes great, but I feel majority of their menu is 2-4 dollars more than it should be. 15 bucks for a burger is absolutely insane for a place in Berea, KY. That’s just me. 8-10 dollar beers….C’mon guys. That’s absurd. There is places in Richmond that carries the same beers that is 3-5 dollars cheaper and has more of a selection on their menu. Cocktails are also extremely expensive.

I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was fine. The ranch cut out all of the spiciness of the buffalo sauce but there wasn't enough to make the sandwich taste like ranch. My partner said his burger was also fine (I don't remember the name of it but he had to ask for no jalapenos on it), I think he would have liked a regular burger better. The food was good enough that we'd go back but both try something else. The staff and atmosphere is where this place is most charming. The staff was really nice since it was our first time there and explained how everything worked and one guy ran to the back to see if they were really out of something we wanted to order (they weren't out so my partner got his southwest style burger like he wanted). I had the pineapple cider and it was better than a regular cider. I think this would be a nice place to go if you just want a nice drink at the bar.

Everything was amazing! Greeted by the owner immediately, had a chance to even have a conversation with her as we were leaving, she is so nice. All the food was amazing! We got a burger, fries, & zucchini bites. Everything was beyond perfect. We also tried a few drinks that were amazing. They have a new drink called the spicy Paloma, I had to get 2 just because it was so good. We will definitely be returning soon!

The BEST cheeseburger in Kentucky hands down!! I swear you will make love to this burger like no one is watching. The French fries are absolute perfection. This restaurant uses fresh beef and you can taste the difference. Your tongue will slap your brains out eating it. My go-to 🍔 I promise you will not regret it. They also serve cocktails made with ingredients that aren't pumped full of sugar!

First time here , couldn't decide on the artichoke chicken or cheese burger , but ended up getting a cocktail , that was amazing and a bacon cheeseburger ... with real cut , potato fries .... absolutely awesome ! Fresh ground beef , from Berea college .... will definitely be back !

On a chilly Friday evening, Fat Man Reviews took a solo mission to visit Nightjar in Berea, KY. Nightjar, located inside Native Bagel, serves Pennsylvania Dutch-German inspired food, bird inspired craft cocktails, beer and wine. I sampled a cocktail called the Night Hawk. It was made with Old Forester bourbon, honey, rosemary, and lemon. The drink is served in a chilled rocks glass overtop a square ice cube. You can smell the honey right away with a hint of the rosemary, but the drink is not very sweet. The lemon is very forward and the bourbon is hidden until the end, coupled with the honey it adds a slight bite to the drink. I started with the Sauerkraut Fritters. This is prepared with mild sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, speckwurst sausage with honey mustard on the side. The fritters were fried to a perfect golden brown, and they were delicate. The sauerkraut was soft but still crunchy with light flavor. The cheese gave the inside an ooey gooey creaminess and helped bind the fritter. The surprise star was the sausage. It gives each bite a salty, fatty pork flavor. The mustard is stone ground and has a good tang to it, but I did not catch much honey in its flavor. The special burger of the day was a Bacon Blue Burger. This burger was made with two 6oz patties, bacon jam, blue cheese on a Martin's potato roll and served with hand cut fries. The fries were fried and seasoned well. The bacon jam was slightly sweet and there was plenty on the burger. The bacon reminded me of bacon bits and the onions were finely chopped too. The blue cheese was melted and added a nice saltiness, creaminess and sharpness to the burger. The bun was soft, fresh and the burger to bun ratio was great. The burgers had a very hard sear on them, and they were almost burnt. The burger was not bad at all but if they were a little juicer it would have been even better. Nightjar sources their ingredients locally, and their beef specifically from Berea College farm. They also have a small menu and have limited seating. A wait is possible. The service was pretty good as well. The Fat Man says that Nightjar is Fat Man Approved with 2 chins.

Great little night time spot. The owner greeted us and was incredibly friendly. Had the burger and was blown away. The fries were incredible as well.

My husband and I ate here for the first time for our Anniversary. It was AMAZING!! I made a reservation and requested that we be sat in more of a “private” area, just away from a lot of people. When we got there, they had us sat on the small stage area and it was perfect!! Just us and that’s all. Our waitress, Madison, was phenomenal and came to check on us at least every 10 minutes and kept us refilled on drinks/bread and kept our table cleared. For the appetizer, we got the Truffle Fries and they come with a side of ketchup and their in house made ranch dip, which was the best I’ve ever tasted. For dinner, I got the Berkshire Pork Chop with goat cheese mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. Everything was so flavorful, the pork chop was extremely tender and the potatoes were a new taste for me and I believe that’s how I’ll start making them from now on. It was so delicious!! My husband got the Steelhead Trout that was served on a bed of zucchini, mushrooms, onions, and broccolini. He said it tasted the best and was very fresh and tender. For dessert we got the fried apple dumpling dish with vanilla ice cream and a caramel sugar candy on top!! We cleaned the dish! I would have licked the skillet if no one else would’ve been there. 😂 Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place for any occasion. The atmosphere is gorgeous, rustic and somewhat romantic when it’s dark outside. There is an overwhelming smell of fish when you walk in but that’s to be expected being that they serve seafood. You get used to it and don’t even smell it after a while. Definitely plan to eat here more and try different dishes!!

Beautiful setting and great staff! Overall, the food and beverages were fantastic. The staff were professional and courteous, getting us seated quickly and providing recommendations based on our flavor preferences. The service was fast and efficient but not rushed. I would highly recommend!

Food was out of this world - INCREDIBLE!! The food was bursting with flavor. The ranch was so good, I never had anything like it before. The butter and roll was amazing. This is my new favorite restaurant and I can’t wait to come back and try something else on the menu! The restaurant was really cozy. I think it would look even better with a gas fireplace inside. Perfect spot for a date night or birthday dinner. Five stars!! Thank you all for providing wonderful service and delicious food!

Berea is a small quaint town with many attractions for all kinds of people. The Fat Man is a food connoisseur in search of good food. This is where Honeysuckle Dining and Bourbon House comes in. Honeysuckle offers southern cuisine with global influences served in a restored historic building with a full bar and event space. I tried The Churchill made with Maker's Mark, Spice Syrup, Angostura, and Black Walnut Bitter Blend. The bourbon had a good kick and flavor. The bitters came through on the back end, sweetening the entire drink. My wife tried the Blackberry Bramble, which was made with Benchmark Small Batch, Blackberry Rufus' Sweet Lemonade Agave, and Lime. The blackberry flavor comes through immediately; the lemonade and lime hit the back pockets of the mouth and leave a lingering tart taste. The bourbon is well hidden but adds to the flavor of the drink. We started with the Frog Legs. They were fried frog leg saddles with house-made spicy maple glaze. Frog legs can be rubbery, but these were very tender and offered a decent chew. The spicy maple had a good sweetness, but the spice was too subtle, and the sauce was thin, not clinging to the meat. We both ordered the Filet Mignon—an 8 oz center cut with romesco polenta and grilled zucchini. The grilled zucchini was spot on with some char and had a good flavor and salt. The polenta was creamy and seasoned well, and the red pepper tasted great. They add a scallion oil that brings the next level of texture and flavor to the dish. The black pepper from the steak was a welcomed addition to the polenta, as it had a slight sweetness. The filet had a great crust that was full of flavor and salt. The meat was tender and juicy and cooked to a perfect rare center. Honeysuckle has a small but well-thought-out menu and a full bar. Less is more when it comes to small menus. The Fat Man says that Honeysuckle Dining and Bourbon House is Fat Man Approved with 3 chins.

Beautiful Restaurant, excellent service and excellent food! Great place for dinner and/or special occasion! Great wedding or party venue ! I attended a private bridal shower brunch . All items on the menu were delicious. I personally had the Risotto and it was excellent -Top chef would have approved 🙂

Went for an early Mother's day dinner. Love the inside and outside decor. Cozy and welcoming! Food was fabulous! Our waitress was kind but seemed nervous! She handled our party of 6 great! Owner came around to check on tables as well!! We were all very satisfied with our meals!! Definitely recommend going!!

Always great food. Just don’t be in a rush cause they cook when you order it. It may be a little slow but more than makes up for it in quality!

Every time I eat here it's more disappointing than the time before. There's no way you should ever have dry buns left from a chili cheese sandwich. It's a chili joint, yet it's like the chili is just a garnish. But hey, the building is amazing, and the crackers are good. That's worth a couple of stars.

It's been awhile since we have been there. But they had great customer service. Very clean and well maintained. Liked how they served Gold Star and 🍔 burgers. We recommend you try it out.

My first trip ever to a Gold Star Chili, but if they are all this great I will stop by one again. 😊 Food was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and it was just a very comfortable place to be.

This is our regular go to Mexican Restaurant. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming. Service is excellent. Food comes out fast and prepared on que.

Our waitress was exceptional! We didn't have to want for anything because she was right there asking If things were OK but without hovering at the table. The food was some of the best tasting Mexican that we've had in awhile. He had Fajitas, I had fajita chimichanga. Plus we ordered El trio dip as an appetizer. The place was also clean. Bathroom need upgraded so you don't feel as though you have to squat onto the floor. As for atmosphere, another table of patrons ruined that 5* their child was having a screaming/crying tantrum for the first 20mins of our visit. I will say this though the staff were trying to console the child. Even brought over ice cream for her... As a peace offering lol

After long hikes on the Sheltowee Trace, we are always on search for Mexican restaurants. We stopped in Berea to try El Rio Grande. The salsa was great (as was the tomatillo green salsa). The guacamole was excellent too! My wife, as a vegan, ordered the veggie fajitas, which were wonderfully tasty! I got the Burrito California which had sliced steak grilled with onions and peppers and tomatoes… it was sooo good. With the friendly staff, this place was a 5 star!

We called an order in, asked for no beans. The lady repeated "no beans?" I said yes. We picked up the order and went home, and there was beans. Most of the time restaurants just refund or replace. Not these people. The woman laughed in our faces and said we were lying about OUR ORDER, and told us she wouldn't refund or replace it, that we can deal with it. Happened on my boyfriends mothers birthday too. Prices are to high. The workers there have to translate with eachother to understand their customers. First time we visited. I asked how big their quesadillas since some restaurants serve smaller or bigger ones, she told me small so I ordered two. She returned with two HUGE quesadillas. She saw a chance to take more money and took it. Never coming back.

My favorite place in town. The margaritas are great and the Tacos Carne Asada is phenomenal (pro tip: get cheese and guacamole as an appetizer and add it to the tacos). They recently added a new menu item, "El Molcajete," that's is the most impressive dish I have seen anywhere in a long time.

Beautiful place to visit and have workshops. I attended a workshop here. They have wi if and public restrooms. We had our food catered in from the Berea Farm. The have a huge room for workshops. On the other side are some interactive exhibits about the forestry that would be great for kids. Then it is right by The Pinnacles so you can run, walk or hike. There is a huge parking lot to accolade workshops and hikers. If you ride bike they also have a bike station where you can air up your tires.

Amazing trails and spectacular scenery.

At first, we went as a couple. The 2nd trip was a family afternoon with the kids. We took numerous pictures as we hiked up the different trails. Eagle's Nest is our favorite simply bc we enjoyed climbing up, over, and around the large boulders. The majestic view of the farm lands below is breathtaking. It's not too hard of a hike. We walked a total of 7 miles on Saturday while exploring the different trails. Steep enough to make my legs notice but it was just right for us. There are logs to duck under, climb on, swing from, and play in. Most importantly... we didn't see any snakes the 2nd go around!

We loved our hike here. We were in the area from hiking at Red River Gorge and stopped on our way home. The views from Eagles Nest and Indian Fort Lookout were awesome!! So worth your time and energy.

Well maintained trails just off 75. Berea college has a very nice information center for the park with clean restrooms. Will definitely stop for another hike while passing through the area.

If you enjoy hiking and taking in nature this place has it all. They even have wooden plaques telling you all the different tree types and there original native American names and pronunciation. We will 100% be going back especially to try out all the different trails available

The entrance to this extensive dog-friendly trail network — (moderate foot traffic but typically very secluded) — is at this pin. My recommended route for best views is East Pinnacle then Eagle's Nest.

This is a great trail with some great views. I took the red trail straight up the mountain, it wasn’t easy on the legs or the lungs, but the forest is beautiful through the fog and the views from the top are really worth it.

This was a hard hike up but beautiful. Once you're at the top the trails are easy.

We love hiking here and it's a great place to bring your dog, pack a picnic, ride a bike or check out the Forestry building. Just be careful of cliff edges, especially if you're off trail. The views from the Pinnacles are stunning. Every time, we visit the amphitheater and we always see cool wildlife here. Grew up knowing it as The Indian Fort Theatre where you could hike to The Pinnacles. The paved sidewalk trail that shoots off near the entrance to the parking lot is a great place to take a stroller, a wagon or a wheelchair and still enjoy the beautiful scenery.

A great hike! It was a bit challenging due to the elevation. But the view was so worth it.

This was an absolutely beautiful hike! I didn't get to see the west pinnacles, but eagles nest, and the east pinnacles of were totally worth it. The hike up the Indian Fort was only 0.3 miles but it was very steep and Rocky. So make sure you're prepared for all the ups and downs and rockiness. Everyone we ran into was really nice.

Definitely a Beautiful area to explore with some beautiful lookouts!

Very nice place. Plenty of parking . Nice facilities. Very clean. First part of the trails are paved. Trails are clean. I found the trails to east pinnacles and to eagle's nest. Then around to Indian lookout rather easy. There is a lot of up hill hiking. So could be difficult if you are out of shape. Lot of beautiful views. The trail around to weather pinnacle is difficult. Lot of rocks and climbing. To get on top of west pinnacle. You have to climb up a rock witch I did not do. But love my day on the trails. I did over 7 miles that day. I will be back.

I am a proud alumni of Berea College. I graduated in 1994 without any debt, thanks to Berea's unique work-study program. I have grown to appreciate more and more the opportunity Berea provided for me by offering a tuition-free education, an experience in traveling abroad and access to some of the best professors. I was also a leader in the residence hall, which was great experience. Thank you, Berea College!

To many people in the road, legally but still alot of people walking in the road all wearing some kind of noise canceling head phone and they do not hear your vehicle. Beautiful little college town.

I graduated from here in 2014. I now live in California and have fond memories of my time in Kentucky. Berea gave me a passion for traditional crafts, the practice for hard work, the foundation for my career, and the awareness of the deep injustice all around. The world needs Bereans. I’m proud to be a Berean and I highly recommend Berea College.

Berea College is a treasure of history of equal access to education since 1859 with many twists and turns. Our tour guide called it "tiny but mighty" leading the way to education for all who otherwise would not have the opportunity.

I went to Berea for the Carter G.Woodson weekend and it was amazing. Being a senior and looking for colleges, I was nervous. I had never been to Kentucky, let alone Berea. I thought it was going to be a small farm town and college. It isn't though. The college has an open and welcoming community; I didn't feel as if I was in some normal college, it felt like home. This is a beautiful college.

The value of a Berea College education grows with the years after graduation!

The workers at the visitor center/shoppe were helpful and friendly per usual. As an alumna of Berea College and previous employee of what was formerly called Student Crafts on the Square, I’ve seen the space filled with the vibrancy of student-made crafts. During my visit today, I saw a few student made ceramics on a pedestal and a handful of handmade brooms. I was disappointed by the amount of “life is good” merchandise that had replaced the beautifully crafted pieces I look forward to seeing. I have hope that I came to the shop during a transitional period and that more student crafts will be put out for sale soon.

This establishment is excellent! I am always greeted within moments of entering the building and immediately feel welcomed. I don’t get that feeling that eyes are on me, and I feel very relaxed in this place. The milkshakes are delicious, and so are the smoothies. They are made in front of your eyes and with the quickness. The prices are relatively reasonable, but I recommend you spend your money here! 5 stars simply because some things are overpriced, in my opinion. – Jeffrey Ozor

This cute storefront on the campus square near Boone Tavern sells a variety of handcrafted things as well as Berea college-themed merchandise, making it an ideal visit for people wishing to support local artisans or show school spirit. The store has a black and white theme and is well lit. It’s quiet and cool that makes an ideal place to read or relax. The store offers shirts, car stickers, stuffed animals, binders, camelbacks. Some things were unexpected - skateboards, brooms, cutting boards and blankets all with Berea College Logo on them. It also has a smoothie bar that provides delicious drinks with fresh, locally produced ingredients. So, if you need to refuel after a day of biking or hiking, this is the place to go. The music, goods layout, and lighting create a lovely and welcoming ambiance that makes you want to remain longer and converse with their pleasant personnel. It’s a 5/5 for me. The bold sign lettering of the store and the many Berea College merchandise from the store window instantly attracted me to the store, as I am a Berea College student. This store is an excellent source for parents and family members, who can collect souvenirs on their way home. - Lamia Nowshin

Love seeing all of the Berea student crafts. It is very cool to see the look weaving done in person, metal works and other fabric, baslet and jewelry crafts. Like to buy something knowing I am supporting the community of students and their education. What a fantastic no tuition promise. Teaching the value of an education along with communal involvement and skills.

I recently visited Berea Golf Course and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this course is in need of significant improvement in the customer service department. Firstly, the staff at the front desk was exceptionally rude. Their dismissive attitude and lack of professionalism set a negative tone for the entire visit. I felt unwelcome, which is never a good start for a day on the links. The condition of the course did nothing to improve my mood. The greens were in particularly rough shape—bumpy, uneven, and poorly maintained. It was challenging to get a decent roll on the ball, and it was clear that regular upkeep is not a priority here. The fairways were similarly disappointing, with patches of bare spots and inconsistent grass coverage that made for a frustrating round. Overall, Berea Golf Course fell short on multiple fronts. Between the unhelpful staff and the subpar condition of the course, I left feeling that my time and money could have been better spent elsewhere. I hope that the management takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements to enhance the experience for future visitors. Until then, I can't recommend this course based on my recent experience.

PLEASE DON'T EVER PLAY THIS COURSE the staff is not very friendly got up in my face not sure what kind of people the owners are hiring but had a terrible experience! Did consider doing membership for me and my wife! This all happen on the 9th hole on the green! So there is no way I would waste my money with that kind of staff. YOU CAN GET A MEMBERSHIP AT BATTLEFIELD for alot less and staff is great!! The whole thing was because my daughter wanted to ride with us and she was not playing at all. The group behind us was playing 6 never said anything to them or the group he was playing with they had 5 that he was playing with but claiming to be a ranger. BEREA has never had a ranger in 15 years that I been playing!!

Nice small town 9-hole course. Had to skip one hole due to a Tree that was down & blocking the hole. Husband enjoyed it! We're visiting from Texas.

Great little 9 hole track, small greens and they sure tuck tournament pins, in great shape this July, tucked back in a little residential neighborhood so follow the signs, nice views of surrounding mountains.... Only a few minutes off i75 so if close swing by and play it!!

Nice staff. 9 holes par 36. Straightforward course. Bermuda fairway grass is dormant for much of the year. Greens are in pretty good shape. Reasonable Greens fees. Have had electric carts die more than once.

The course is awful DO NOT PLAY HERE the greens are like playing in my backyard that’s how uneven they are plus the lady at the front desk was so rude to us, even though it was our first time at the course.

Beautiful nine hole gem. Great greens and friendly staff. Good course for beginners or seasoned players. Would recommend to all.

I haven’t had a bad experience at any of the shows I’ve attended. All the performances have been top tier!

My best friend and I try to have a girl date here once a month. The actors and staff are great and we never fail to have a good time. Last night it was a mystery dinner theater with a Halloween theme; the food was well prepared and presented and the story was fun.

Spotlight is an amazing community theatre and so much more. They deliver quality productions, time after time. There are so many good actors and they support everyone. They appreciate their tech crews and writers. The children take great care to be supportive of one another. The atmosphere is fun and you can even buy refreshments. But hurry back to your seats because you don’t want to miss a thing.

What a cute and fun show. I wish it was closer but it was worth the 2 hour drive to see my daughters debut in the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The venue is nothing fancy but it works.

If you love live theater be it comedy, drama, musicals you can find it all here. Beautiful theater warm and freindly host and hostess. They have children's shows as well as adult shows. There are restrooms and refreshments sold in there huge lobby. Well worth a visit.

We won ticket to this place at a geocaching event in Berea. We went not knowing what to expect. But we loved the play we seen it was their version of Dracula awesome show & friendly people. We have tickets for their Christmas show I can't wait to see it. We will definitely have to come back for more shows. I highly recommend this place for a night of family fun and good entertainment.

They have no problem at all selling you food that has been sitting the better part of the day. Ice cold and hard cheese bread complements of this store. I can’t figure out for the life of me why they haven’t turned bulldozed this location into a parking lot yet.

Listen, I’m not one to normally be a Karen and complain, but this place is awful. 10/10 times they have gotten my order wrong. I’m not even exaggerating. I got sick and tired of them messing up my order in drive through and in store, so I tried ordering through the app and just picking up at the pizza tower. Placed my order in the parking lot at 6:18, earliest pick up was 6:45. Ok, I’ll wait. Got a message my food was ready and got a code to the tower. I went in and typed my number into the tower and the 4th cubbie opened…nothing was inside. I stood there for a minute waiting for someone to come available so I could let them know. One girl starts looking for it under my name and can’t find it. The shorter gentleman with bushy hair and beard comes up and I hear someone say “I remember doing it” and he tells them “yeah, we gave it to another customer.” So I just waited for about 30 minutes for nothing. They remake my order and gave me crazy bread because I had to wait for them to remake it. The gentleman with the beard goes “sorry, we will have to remake it.” And said it in the most idgaf tone which was pretty rude considering they gave my order away. They finally finish my order and give it to me. I figured they probably messed up my pizza, which is the whole reason I ordered on the app in the first place, and low and behold I check it and it has pepperonis on it…which I can’t eat. I’ve had to call my husband every single time and have him come up to the store from home to get my pizza fixed. My pizza is not hard. It’s pretzel crust, red pizza sauce, and the only topping is cheese. I come here because it’s cheap, last me a day or two and it’s not terrible food…if it’s right and I don’t have to wait an hour after getting there to get my pizza after just getting off work and driving an hour back to Berea and having not ate all day. The staff gets kind of a hateful attitude with me, but they’re the ones messing my order up EVERY SINGLE TIME. They only fix it right when my husband comes down there. I’ve had them remake my order 2-3 times in one setting before because they just continuously get it wrong and don’t care.

Ordered for inaide pickup. Pulled up to front door and saw the light was turned on on the "drive thru only" sign. Pulled into drive thru. Dude on headset was taking out trash. Acted like it was a huge inconvenience to answer the drive thru. He walked back in and prob straight to the drive thru window. If he stopped to wash his hands it definitely was not for two rounds of happy birthday. When he looked up my order he said that mine was for inside pickup. To which i said i know, but when i pulled in to come inside, your sign was on for drive thru only. To which he says, no you can come inside. So i parked again. Went inside. Got my pizza, but needed my sauces. The guys on back line yell for the same drive thru man, who i was clearly inconveniencing beyond belief at this point. Hey handed me garlic butters that were laying on the counter in a pool of garlic sauce. Apparently i should have known those were for me. And i still had to ask again for the crazy sauce for my order. This was especially weird because they werent busy at all. No other humans in sight. No one appeared to be cooking. I came here to see if this was a one off, but when i saw the tremendous amount of bad reviews, i figured i would add mine in hopes that an owner/manager sees whats happening here before they lose their business entirely.

Waited 45 minutes on my pizza and very poor service was told by employee not to get a attitude when I asked if my pizza was ready then cashier walked off to back yelling that she would not serve me had to wait for another worker to hand me my pizza that had been ready and waiting in cabinet behind counter. Owner needs to made aware of his problem employee that would tell a customer not to get a attitude and disrespect a customer after having to wait that long.

Ordered an extra most pizza and had to wait, did not mind. I’ve had regular pepperoni pizzas that had more on them than this. Supposedly extra most try to pick up a piece and what little bit is on top falls off. It is also doughy like it did not get baked all the way. Hoping this is a one off day for them because my grandson loves there pizza, not so much today.

Service is really good. The food is typical Little Caesars - ok, but not great pizza. Kinda like cafeteria pizza. But you get what you pay for I guess.

They forgot 2 of our sandwiches in our online order of 8. No biggie. I go back to ask for them, the girl at counter argued and sweared on her life that she made them. I said that’s great, can you please remake them because they aren’t there. She calls her manager, gets off the phone, asks me to the counter, so I walk up and say, yes Mam, she says, VERBATIM “Well, I don’t make mistakes like that, and my manager’s backing me up…because I’m a good employee, but to get you out of the store, I’m going to remake them, but your name and number and going next to the register so if you EVER try to pull this again, we’ll know.” Obviously, I refused and walked out. Clearly this location needs $12 more than I do. As a local business owner of 2 businesses. This is easily an offense that would be terminable. Of this employee and possibly the manager. Speed of the leader, speed of the pack.

Ordered a sandwich online, and got home it wasn’t made correctly. So I called. It took 3 times for someone to answer. They told me I could bring the sandwich back in to switch it out. Well I had thrown the half away and I told her I did. And she said it was fine to just bring in that half. So I paid for a foot long and got half a sub 🤦🏻‍♀️ moral of the story, if you order online before taking a bite make sure it’s right….

If you can avoid going here you should. There's one near walmart that's miles better. This one isnt worth giving money to. Gets orders wrong. Doesnt answer their phone. And serves slop like this

I recieved food poisoning and was asked to prove it was from this location it was all we ate I didn't even ask for a refund just that they make sure they take care of the situation so Noone else becomes sick! Original post...My husband and I got 2 footlongs and a dorito nacho. We spend about $30. Which wasn't too bad. But we paid for a trip to the ER for food poisoning and 3 days of fighting over the restroom.you can't get ahold of anyone higher up.

Cant listen asked for one line of barbecue sauce and proceeded to go back and forth 5 times like thats alot of sauce people ! lazy super lazy…… treated my sandwich like a dog plate or pig slop, took a plastic container with cold clumps of meat and just plopped it on there it was slimy

Absolutely disgusting. Just went in and the food and prep area were filthy. Cleaning solution sprayed on the counter right beside the sandwich. Staff was bothered I was there. Flies everywhere too. Turned around and left.

Footlong Philly Cheesesteak.Can't see what they put on the sandwich due to lid blocking the meats. Should be 2 trays of steak not one. Not the first time feeling cheated.

Everything about this Domino's is good, the people the food everything!!! I love this Domino's because their food is always perfect, not once have I had an issue, NOT ONCE!!! Thank you Domino's for such a great job you all do!!!!

I ordered dinner Tuesday night for delivery. As I was watching the process of prep, baking, delivery... As I watched for the delivery on the app, I noticed he was going the opposite direction from me. Then I received a notification that it was delivered. I immediately called the local Domino's and addressed the issue of not being delivered at my place. I wasn't offered any compensation. I waited longer than the time that would actually receive my delivery. I called the store back and was told I'll get it soon. She didn't even apologize. I live 4 miles from this store. I eventually received a message that offered a half price pizza.

I placed and order online, and noticed the last digit of my phone number was wrong. I called to notify them that I needed to update the last number so that if they had any issues delivering they could call me. The “manager” I spoke was absolutely rude, sounded very inconvenienced to even be speaking or assisting me. As a manager you should be willing to assist and help your customers with kindness and understanding. And this manager had absolutely no understanding or kindness. Definitely need to pick better management dealing with and speaking to customers.

Placed my order on-line for delivery as we do nearly every week. Driver arrived, tipped him and he left, took my order inside, opened the box to find it was not my order. I called the store and reported the mix up. The employee informed me they had already started making the order for the other people that received my order, and that they would remake my order and deliver it ASAP. Nearly 2 hours later I called to find out where my dinner was. Seth, an employee reported to me that my order was delivered to a rehab center in town, but they would be happy to remake it AGAIN and deliver it. My response is NO, refund my money and never receive my patronage again!

This location has better pizza than any other Dominos. I always stop off the Berea exit when I am in the area.

For 30$ I'd order elsewhere.... Ordered Brooklyn pizza and got the reg...delivery to the hotel was well late...pizza was cold....wings barely warm and just drenched in sauce.... bread sticks warm and greased down to the max....pretty sad dominoes... This location needs corporate to blindly visit and take a look at the lack of time, quality etc etc etc this location is putting out...oh yeah we of course are traveling and staying at the HI and asked for plates, plastic wear, napkins and crushed red pepper plus parmesan and received 3/5 items... Thanks this location dominoes pizza we'll never order from here while passing through Berea KY
