My new favorite stop! A definite hidden gem for truckers! Roughly a mile from I-80 and TRUCKER FRIENDLY! I’m in love! The store itself is well stocked, organized, and clean!!!! Employees are readily available and friendly! Checking out was a breeze! Hands down, the nicest Walmart I’ve ever had the pleasure of shopping at! 10/10 Semi truck parking is located north of the store. The lot is large, easily maneuverable, and well lit. Several grassy areas for pets. 50+ businesses within a 5 minute walk! Everything from shopping, hair and nail salons and barber shops to laundry and postal services! Several fuel stations, hotels, and banking options are also readily available. There’s even bitcoin atm nearby. An EV fast charging station is located in the Walmart parking lot with a Tesla Supercharger station nearby. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Standard Walmart you will find all across America.

Top shelf items-says ask for assistance!!! No body to be found. When I do find somebody they don’t speak English! Thanks for the help. No black ties for flimsy produce bags. 2 checkers available? I’m not scanning and bagging my groceries! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Jean W — Google review
Need more cashiers. Give customers doing their own shopping and most likely to make impulse buys, better customer service. Put scanners back so we can check a price since seldom find an employee to help.
Linda E — Google review
I am a truck driver. I place orders for delivery for the convenience and to try to keep myself out of the Walmart parking lots. I placed an order yesterday afternoon for delivery first thing this morning the driver was on the way but suddenly I received a message saying that they were unable to deliver it. The driver never arrived at my location I left detailed instructions as to where I was parked in the truck stop. I have done this multiple times and have never had an order fail to deliver. Shame on you North Platte Walmart higher better drivers
James E — Google review
I went to Walmart for an ink cartridge for my printer. I found them, but they were in a locked cabinet. I then went to the service desk and waited for someone to help me for almost 10 minutes. The cashier at the desk was helping someone else and then walked away to help him. In the meantime I saw several employees walking around, but no one offered to help. Then another employee came to the photo area, but didn’t seem to notice me. The cashier finished with the first customer and then finally helped me retrieve an ink cartridge. He rang it up and I paid for the purchase. I hadn’t even received my receipt before the cashier started talking to a friend. Where is the customer service? Oh wait! He seemed to be in his 20’s and they don’t know what good customer service is!!!
Lisa M — Google review
We're from So California. I thoroughly enjoyed shopping at your store. Everything is well stocked and some of the prices are comparable to our Walmarts. Great service deli, bakery items, fruits and etc. It was a pleasure shopping at your store.
Carmela G — Google review
I enjoy shopping in a clean store with uncluttered isles, stocked shelves, reasonable prices, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Thank you.

Holiday RV Park

4.2
(693)
RV park
Holiday RV Park and Campground in North Platte, Nebraska is a top-notch camping facility that offers a warm welcome and excellent hospitality. The park is currently undergoing renovations to update the area, including the pool and bathrooms. Despite this, the sites are clean, easily accessible, and offer great views of both sunrise and sunset. The medium-sized park provides gravel sites with grassy areas in between, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for guests.
The park is very clean and well-maintained. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and since they’re all locals, they can easily point you in the right direction for anything you might need or want to explore. The renovated bathrooms are spotless and so nice to have available—definitely a big plus. The pool was a great bonus for relaxing during the hot afternoons. My dogs could always tell when a staff member was nearby—they knew they were about to get all the pets, lots of love, and of course a tasty treat! The only downside is that, since the park is within city limits, they aren’t allowed to have open fires—which would have been a nice touch in the evenings. We’re really hoping we get stationed in North Platte again so we can come back and visit with everyone! Overall, a great place to stay!
Alexis J — Google review
If it wasn't for the highway noise I would have given 5 stars. Very nice campground, shaded. We had a pull through, full hook up site with the option to stay longer if needed. Staff was kind enough to help and accommodate our stay as our truck broke down while we were heading home. I would stay again. Lots to do in the area. Stores and gas stations close by not to mention repair shop not too far.
Jemily H — Google review
Our experience at Holiday RV Park was very positive. The gals at registration were super-friendly and accommodating in getting us our spot. The RV spots are not paved but quite level. Upon checking the restrooms/showers they were virtually spotless with a freshly painted floor. The laundry was also bright and shiny. People were enjoying the clean and well-kept pool. Overnight the park was very quiet, no traffic noise, and we rested well. The camp grounds could use some landscaping but it didn’t spoil our stay at this pleasant RV park.
Diane S — Google review
This was a decent campground for an overnight stay with all of the amenities--water, sewer, electric, showers, etc. It could use a facelift as the playground equipment is quite old, but it is adequate for what you need, and the price was right. The bathrooms were very clean as were the showers (although the showers and the changing area were a bit small). I'd stay here again.
Linda S — Google review
Total dump of a park with sketchy residents. Was accosted by a resident after his dog charged me walking back to my rig after a shower. Spoke with the manager, she said she was going to discount our stay and she never did. Park is overgrown amd dumpy, stay elsewhere!! Bathroom and shower house was disgusting, see photos.
Darin C — Google review
Check-in was a breeze! The ladies in the office were absolutely wonderful—so kind and welcoming, they truly made us feel right at home. The only downside to our stay was the non-stop rain (wish we could’ve controlled that!). We did get a chance to enjoy the pool for a bit before the storms rolled in—and how cool is it that it’s shaped like Nebraska? Such a fun touch! Despite the weather, we had a great experience and are definitely looking forward to staying again!
Elizabeth B — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been traveling the country for the past two years — from Canada to Florida to New York — and I can honestly say Holiday RV Park in North Platte, Nebraska is one of the nicest RV parks I’ve come across. The people here are incredibly friendly, and the overall vibe is just warm and welcoming. The park itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a great atmosphere. One of the highlights is the big swimming pool — perfect for cooling off and relaxing after a long day on the road. What really stood out to me was the personal touch: one of the owners’ children even came around to see if I needed help taking my trash to the dumpster. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way. If you’re passing through or looking for a great spot to settle in for a bit, I highly recommend this place. Five stars all the way

Penny's Diner is a 24-hour dining spot with a classic American menu and a charming 50s-themed decor. The diner is housed in a unique train car design, adding to its appeal. Despite its small size, the cozy atmosphere adds to the overall charm of the place. The service is friendly and relaxed, allowing guests to enjoy their meals without feeling rushed. While some reviews mentioned cleanliness concerns in the kitchen area, others praised the fresh and tasty food served with a smile.
Got a chicken fried steak breakfast with French toast and a strawberry milkshake. All the food was amazing and heaven the server was excellent in checking to make sure I had a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!!
A D — Google review
Their grill was broken so they had a condensed menu, but that didn't stop the food from being any less delicious! The club sandwich and fries were delicious, and the mint chocolate chip (using Andes mints I think) has got to be the best shake I've had in a long time. The place has a nice theme, the workers were friendly and it's a great location for anyone on a road trip passing through or staying at one of the nearby hotels.
Kyle R — Google review
Such a cute and classic diner experience! Like the kind you see in the movies, with it's retro vibes and airstream-like exterior, offering all the best classic diner fare. Legitimately being open 24 hours is amazing too! Will definitely be bookmarking for future adventures out west, it's the perfect quintessential road trip stop. The service wasn't the "sweetest" at first, but honestly it added to the charm and experience, and she warmed up to us by the end :) Root beer float was just as good as you'd expect, and I had the Frisco melt burger which was delicious. Their t-shirts were so cute, I had to get one!!

Wife and I stopped in for some lunch yesterday and we were not disappointed in our decision to come here. Waitress was all smiles and very pleasant taking the orders. We both went with the classic diner food, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a salad. Taste and texture was on point made for a very satisfying meal. We will be back.

Really great diner with great service and good food! It was really busy when we were in so it took a bit of a while for the food to come out, but it was worth it

Good food. Good amount and friendly staff. The bathrooms are nice, but there is a grease smell. Very small diner and locals hangout.

Very good food, my waitress was outstanding and very nice. She also cooked my food as well. I always stop in here when I come through.

Stopped here on a road trip with my family. My hubby and I have always talked about and wanted to try this place but never felt we had time or it wasn't meal time when passing through North Platte. We finally got to try it! My toddlers split a kids meal and each got a super chocolatey chocolate milk. Hubby and I each had a burger. They were delicious! I am a fry lover so I felt like I wanted more fries when the food was delivered but by the time I was done with my portion, I was full and satisfied. Price was very reasonable. We'll be back!

Fort Cody Trading Post is a must-visit in North Platte, resembling a frontier log stockade with mannequins and toy rifles outside. Inside, it's a mix of gift shop and museum featuring authentic Buffalo Bill Cody and Wild West memorabilia, along with a mechanized Wild West Show. This roadside attraction offers history and souvenirs, but be prepared for the minimum purchase requirement for credit card charges.
What a fun place. The museum was fun and informative. The artistry was very impressive. The gift shop was a lot of fun too. Lots of old school candies...a trip back in time. Well worth the stop!
BL W — Google review
I love this place! We made it a point to stop here on our trip. The museum is small, but it's a great place to get out and stretch your legs. It's conveniently located off the interstate and close to a lot of restaurants and hotels. The souvenir shop is excellent! They have stuff you can't find anywhere else. The prices are quite reasonable for a tourist stop. I will always stop here when traveling through North Platte.

Fun place to stop and pick up souvenirs. They have a cool working train set to view every 30 minutes. Lots of variety of things to buy. Great for kids

This is an absolute must see. There is a muffler man in the back and a 2-headed cow beside the miniature replica of Buffalo Bill’s show. So fun!

Stopped in while passing by on a road trip with my family! What a cool place! Souvenirs, candy, collectables, hand made items, lots of cool stuff to see in there, even a mini museum! 10/10 recommend stopping in on your way through! :)

Having lived in LeClaire, IA growing up, I was very familiar with the Buffalo Bill stories. Having traveled I-80 a lot, I've always wanted to stop in and visit this location. Nice shop, friendly staff and plenty of information to be found. Worth the stop!

Italian restaurant
Luigi's Italian Restaurant is a local favorite in North Platte, Nebraska, offering a wide array of delicious Italian dishes. The modest and low-key environment sets the stage for an authentic dining experience. Guests rave about the homemade bread and fresh daily offerings such as pastas, salads, pizza, and desserts. The Veal Marsala over spaghetti pasta and limoncello cake with mascarpone frosting are particularly popular choices.
Coming from Denver wasn’t sure what to expect as I was just driving through, everything was so good and my server was so amazing. I don’t usually leave reviews, but Cadien was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. So friendly and inquisitive. I watched him interact with the younger staff so politely. He was really informative and nice I can’t say it enough about awesome he was, especially listening to how he talked to everyone. I’m definitely it that patient. 5 stars for sure. Food was great on top of the service.
Richard H — Google review
The service was friendly and the food was good. We had spaghetti with meatballs and it came with a side salad and bread. The ranch dressing was excellent. The interior could use a bit of attention as the ceiling tiles are stained and the AC vents are really dirty.
Rock D — Google review
We discovered this place while visiting from Vancouver Washington. Yes, we were in beef country but after a couple days here in town, Italian sounded good. This place was amazing. We were greeted by a friendly staff and seated right away. The food was fantastic. We all tried different dishes from fettuccine alfredo, lasagna, pizza, chicken parmesan, and salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted awesome. This place is a gem and we can't wait to return.
The C — Google review
We drove from Rapid City this morning and ended our night at Luigi's Italian restaurant. The entrees and the service were excellent. But instead of playing traditional Italian music, the background music is old country songs. I don't need Vivaldi or Puccini, but I'd like something that makes me feel like I'm in the region that aligns with the food. So I've got tears in my eyes when I'm trying to eat my salad, because I fall apart every time I hear Don't Take the Girl by Tim McGraw. I can't be the only one. Anyway, when that song ended, I ate every bit of food that was put in front of me (my wife ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and I got Pasta Primavera), and then got tears in my eyes again when our great server Rachel said they were out of crème brûlée. So many emotions in one meal. Anyway, this place is great, and I'd be happy to return.
Dan P — Google review
Alex greeted us as soon as we walked in and made us feel so welcome. Rachel was a wonderful server as well. The food was great. My sister and I had plenty of vegetarian options. We also enjoyed a nice glass of wine.

I’ve eaten here quite a bit over the last few years, the food is very good! The service is excellent! If you want pasta or pizza this place is second to none in north platte. It’s not fancy but man is there food good. Restaurant is clean and comfortable. Will continue to eat here and I highly recommend trying this place

AMAZING!!! Everything we had was delicious! My husband got the tour of Italy, I had a seafood pasta (can't remember the name), and our kids had spaghetti. The adult dinners came with a salad, I had the house Italian Dressing and it was seriously the best Italian Dressing I've had. The bread rolls were phenomenal. The service was spectacular and the price was better than we expected it to be. The next time we're in North Platte we'll definitely be back!! Sorry, no photos because we were so focused on how delicious everything was.

Their menu features an array of Mexican dishes that are both flavorful and satisfying, with highlights like the carne asada and perfectly cooked rice.
my family and i were in North Platte for the night on our cross country road trip. we were coming into town pretty late, we ordered food around 8 but put in the comments that we wouldn’t be there until closer to 9, when they closed. amazingly they noted that on our order, our food was hot, ready and delicious! thank you so much for your kind service and making a memorable pit stop for our trip!

Nice restaurant. Very busy night. Salsas were good. Chips good. Our family had mixed reviews as we were traveling through. This is not your standard, run of the mill Mexican food. It seems to be more authentic. Generally, I was pleased with my meal. With the pictures, these are the updated prices in July 2024.

Good Life on the Bricks, a new addition to North Platte's dining scene, has been making waves since its opening in 2019. This downtown eatery is renowned for its smoked meats and offers a diverse menu featuring barbecue, pizza, burgers, salads, and pasta alongside vegan options. Visitors have raved about the flavorful Pulled Pork sandwich and other delectable offerings.
The greeter was welcoming. Jacob was our waiter and he was very attentive and shared local things to do with us. We ordered the Brisket Nacho platter and it was incredible! Huge portion and very delicious!
Laraine S — Google review
I want to like this place. Being a local small business owner myself I love to really give the opportunity for a business to shine. This was my second time in and it was later in the evening. The brisket was burnt but decent, pretty dry, not sure if this was my fault for coming in so late. I ended up eating half of it as the burnt edges were not appetizing. My daughter got a grilled cheese which was literally 2 pieces of a bun that looked like it had some cheese microwave melted in between, the server saw she didn't even touch it and said nothing. If this is your version of BBQ and grilled cheese that's fine but the $50 price at the end is not worth me coming back unfortunately. The mac and cheese was yummy so I'll give you that.
Ley M — Google review
We waited 45 minutes for pretzel appetizers and over an hour for our entrees. The food wasn't terrible, but the service was definitely lacking. The smoked meats were tasty but barely warm when it got to our table.
Megan K — Google review
Very nice vibe to this place, clean, and has friendly staff. The food is super fun and has interesting choices my husband ordered a burger that had nacho cheese, little smokies, hot cheetos and bacon. HE LOVED IT. Huge portions for decent prices, plus happy hour between 3-6 is half a off appetizers which are also huge! Will go again for SURE!

Jacob M. Made our experience great. Super friendly service/ very helpful with menu choices. Food was great tasting/ very flavorful. Didn't have to wait long between ordering and food delivery. Absolutely a great lunch experience on our weekend train vacation.

AWESOME menu - I wanted to try just about everything. They stumbled a bit on the execution; my baked beans were cold, and the patty in my Good Life Burger was undercooked. My wife said her brisket "tasted like roast beef". While it fell short of "best experience ever", this place has real potential, and I'd like to give it another try.
Ken S — Google review
My cousin took us to Good Life when we were visiting North Platte. I am from the West Coast and consider myself a bit of a foodie. This restaurant could definitely hold its own in any of the bigger cities like Seattle Portland or San Francisco! In our group we had the hamburger with macaroni, The brisket jalapeno sandwich with no bread and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and, I believe, a Southwest chicken wrap with coleslaw. We all agreed that the food was at least a nine and a half out of 10 if not a 10! Definitely recommend this place. Added bonus? It's in the downtown Canteen District so lots to see during your apres meal walk!!!!
Xa C — Google review
We were traveling through and Tim at Tru by Hilton recommended. It was fast delivery and delicious food! Hard to decide what to have since their menu was huge! We settled in Lobster Truffle Mac and Cheese and brisket.

Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza is a popular chain outlet that offers customizable takeaway pizzas for customers to cook at home. During a recent visit, it was observed that the restaurant was bustling with activity. Upon entering, it became evident that the restroom needed attention and upon exiting, an overwhelmed employee named Kamron was noticed in the back working diligently with various white sauces. Despite being swamped, she managed to keep up with the fast-paced environment.
I had a great experience at Papa Murphy's! Ordering was a breeze, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I tried the Chicken Bacon Artichoke pizza, which was delicious—fresh ingredients and amazing taste. I also got a Pepperoni and Onion pizza, and it was just as satisfying. First time in Nebraska, first time eating a (cheese) runza. IT WAS DELICIOUS. Clean restaurant, great service. Also recommend the pomegranate passion lemonade, popcorn chicken, and crinkle fries.

I dont know if this is what passes as a large fry container, maybe it is. If so, it only supports my complaint that everywhere you go they're giving you smaller portions at a higher price. I don't eat out often for this reason. However that's neither here nor there, my beef is with the fact that i pay to upsize my meal and not only is my fry only half full, there's more salt and ketchup in the fry container than there are fries. Is this a tactic to make the fries seem full or what? This is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time this has happened but it is the last. It has been 4 times in a row and I had hoped with the new location and a period of 5-6 months between my 3rd and 4th visit that it wouldn't be the same ol' bull$#¡+. I refuse to pay FOURTEEN dollars for a burger and fries only to be met with the same reoccurring theme of dissatisfaction. I mean, seriously, a monkey could do this job and yet i get a burger that 2 inches thick on one side and 5 inches thick on the other with more cheese on the wrapper than on the burger. I get that you guys hire teenagers but maybe train them to give a $#¡+ and have a lil pride in their work or get new ones because, although I consider your fries the absolute best, it's not worth my time, money or effort when this is consistently the end result. I doubt i will ever be back and that saddens me. The food is delicious. The execution is horrendous. Photos included. Aside from me unwrapping the burger, this is exactly how it was in the bag. I haven't eaten a single fry. But hey, no complaints on the soda. Smh

Kat greeted us as we walked in the door. She was very pleasant and complimented us on our food choices. I went to the counter three times for various needs I apologized for bothering her. She told me “you are not bothering me at all I’m glad I could help”. I would give her a 10 Star rating for excellent service. I hope review is shared with her.

Very slow service. We waited in the drive through for over 10 minutes for someone who just had ordered an ice cream cone. We got our order and they messed it up and gave us someone else's order so thankfully they caught it before we left and the runway we had were undercooked and fell apart the instant you bit into one. The fries and onion rings were good and the staff was at least friendly so that was a bonus.

Out of all the Runzas I've been to this one is my favorite because of the employees. They're customer service skills are amazing. Hopefully they'll see raises soon because they deserve it. The place is always clean and food is always spot on. Thank you to all of them!

1st time Runza customer here as we are from out of state. I ordered an Original Runza, a cheese Runza and a Blueberry Lemon Shake. Quick and friendly service! The shake was delicious but we were not fans of the Runza. If we lived in the area, we would certainly give them another try but order something different than Runzas.

If you are familiar with bierock and have never tried Runza, you must. It is the fast food equivalent and very good. We don't have Runza in Arizona, so we pick up a frozen dozen Originals and take them home to enjoy.

One notable feature is the ability to customize your own meal, which allows customers to try new and diverse combinations at an affordable price. The grilled steak was particularly delicious, and the wait time was minimal due to efficient service. Multiple payment options provided a seamless experience.
The people were friendly and the burrito had a good taste! I loved pinto beans. I eat a cheese quesadilla was good !

All of the reviews I read were exactly spot on. Every employee here was friendly and courteous and helpful to help us find something to eat. YUMMO!! I’ve never had a bowl of Mexican food before and it was excellent

The food was fresh, the place was somewhat clean (sticky floors and unwashed tables), and the bathrooms were clean. Great value for what we got (I'm shocked he was able to fold the burrito without it rupturing).

First time trying this restaurant, was excited as I saw a TikTok ad about their habanero lime steak. They gave me a giant piece of an onion , I asked for salsa roja they gave me chip salsa ?? It was disgusting and ruined the burrito.

Tazan is AMAZING!! Not sure what to order?? Let the young man fix you up. He's friendly, fast, and he knows what to put together to make incredible food. All the staff here is nice but I had to give a shout out to this one because he's truly a valuable employee and I hope this restaurant treasures him.

Good food & friendly staff! Was not impressed to see employees standing around as trash was overflowing, lids/straws were not stocked, drink station was out of ice & dirty & no clean open tables. Edited to Add: I reached out per the response I received and the manager did contact me.

Sandwich shop
Jimmy John's is a fast-casual restaurant that specializes in sub and club sandwiches, accompanied by their own branded potato chips. It has gained a reputation for its exceptional customer service, treating patrons like family. This was evident when a regular customer's mother was hospitalized, and the staff knew her order by heart when called upon. They even went the extra mile to deliver her sandwich directly to the hospital without expecting any payment in return.
I don’t know if the restaurant is any good, I’m just writing a review for the giant screaming head floating behind the restaurant. It’s always back there, next to the dumpster, floating in the air, screaming in a deep man’s voice despite having no visible mouth. Very dedicated to its job! It does a number of things that I enjoy: If you leave a jjblt underneath it and come back the next day, there will be a pile of ancient looking coins in a pool of blood where the sandwich was. Exactly what I wanted! If you stand in the right spot, you will start hearing Lou Bega’s mambo number 5 playing faintly under its droning scream. Awesome! I brought my friend to see it, and he said that it looked exactly like his grandfather, even though it looks featureless to me. He got scared of it, but I thought it was neat. It can be something different for every person, and I appreciate that! It has no eyes, but I always get the feeling that it is staring directly at me, no matter where I go! Very cool! Again, I’m reviewing the floating head, not the Jimmy John’s. I’m not sure if they are affiliated, but I’m sure the operators of this establishment are aware of and appreciate the head’s presence as much as me.

Our boss ordered lunch for us today, well coworkers Bread was pretty good baked but mine was going to call and let you guys know but didn’t, sándwich went into the trash That’s so sad because I really like this place
Angelica M — Google review
The store opens at 10am. The neon light was on. It was after 10am. The door was still locked. I called. He said they were busy doing a catering order and wouldn’t be opening for awhile. When I said that this needed to be reported to corporate, his response was feel free to go ahead and do it. Wow, the service there is horrid.
Kali M — Google review
First my online order wasn't even on the rack I had to wait in line and get it and then secondly I get a Del Taco cup Jimmy John's. I'd called after I was off of work to explain my frustration and spoke to DJ after this whole incident and DJ proceeded to hang up on me because he didn't want to hear what I had to say. This is the worst customer service I've ever had any Jimmy John's and I'm hoping this situation can be brought to the owners attention. What happened to customers service?
Michael G — Google review
Overweight guy has an attitude when taking order, and take 30 minutes to make 2 sandwiches. He is also coughing on our sandwiches.
ELIJAH — Google review
My mom got a Number 15 club tuna wrapped in the Mediterranean last week. Guy stated today that its Limited wrap and is still running but wouldn't make what was given last week just kept saying they have it but they can't make it even tho they made it last week they refused to make it this week. Get it together Jimmy John's.
Michael M — Google review
The picture shows half of my $15 sandwich, a giant slim 4 with cheese. The other half was the same sad story. We picked up sandwiches driving through town on our way home, as we have done several times before. We were already back on the interstate when I unwrapped my sandwich to find hardly anything between the bread. If this is how they make a $15 sandwich now, we won't be stopping there any more. Embarrassing.
Ray L — Google review
They have messed up my orders consistently for the past few months, not sure if they hired new people but the service here is absolutely awful. I have had to send almost every sandwich I get from them back. Recently, an incident happened that has caused me to lose trust and faith in this establishment, which is unfortunate because I used to really enjoy the food. I have allergies, which I always make clear, and I was served a sandwich that had been made incorrectly and then had those ingredients sloppily scraped off, serving the same bread/other ingredients, but covered in the residue of an allergen- incredibly dangerous, I’m lucky I had someone try it for me first. If they screwed up once or twice or even three times, I would give it a pass. But it has been every. single. time. If you don’t want terrible service, suspiciously hard bread, oddly chewy meat and workers who are visibly high, don’t waste your time and money on this JJ’s. :(

Tower with open-air & enclosed observation areas for viewing the sprawling rail yard below.
This place is fascinating, I loved it. Short video on the history and some more museum-like displays up on the top floor; excellent 360° views. One floor down is the open air viewing area and it's amazing, I think I could watch the trains move about all day. SO MANY TRAINS. Cute gift shop, lots of parking.
Alexandra B — Google review
If you like/love trains it is extremely interesting. Even if you aren't into trains it is still an amazing sight. There is lots of information. Everyone working here was extremely kind and helpful. The had a scavenger hunt of facts for the kids so that helped keep my daughter busy. Very nice and enjoyable.
Michelle I — Google review
Really cool place! Plenty of parking, clean restrooms and facilities. Multiple video displays to learn about the rail yard, history, etc. And then of course, the tower and the view. The top of the tower is climate controlled and features displays and a volunteer answering questions along with sweeping views of the yard and the surrounding area. The next level down is the open air deck, which offers a great view of the yard along with all the sounds that go with it. Both levels have telescopes, but I recommend bringing your own binoculars to enhance the viewing experience. Dogs on leashes are welcome in all spaces, inside and outside, and they even offer treats. They also have designated pet play areas with clean up bags, and it seems every pet parent has been responsible for cleaning up, because those areas were free of unpleasant surprises. Great gift shop too, though they did not have my size in the shirt I wanted. The staff member on site directed me to their online store. Snacks and drinks also available, along with free coffee.
Belynda W — Google review
Great visit, and a great location for any train enthusiasts. Perfect view of a large yard, and maintenance shop with full view of everything. The "hump" launching cars to be sorted automatically is a major feat of engineering that would impress anyone-a whole train load of cars goes over the "hump" and everything gets sorted in proper order down multiple tracks as easily as dealing out a deck of cards. There is a museum with of history all around the location. You can watch multiple videos of the evolution of passenger trains to transport innovations. Many Presidential candidates used this same location for waypoints during campaign trails, and they even have examples of the meals you would have been served during that time period. Worth a visit if only to see the history.
Helpdeskneko — Google review
It's hard to understand the scope of this place. It's eight miles long. There are train cars as far as I can see. It's like a ballet that powers our economy. The video was helpful and a cool look into the history of the operation in North Platte. Highly recommend a visit. Discounted tickets for veterans!
Dan P — Google review
We had a great time at the Golden Spike tower. The kids really liked seeing the trains connect and sort the cars. They have a little museum and gift shop. Go up the elevator and see the observation deck with more information and is in closed. There is a volunteer to answer questions that is a previous train employee. Then go to the open air deck and hear the trains. Awesome quick stop.
Murphys O — Google review
Before you take the elevator to the 8th floor of the tower, watch the informative movie. A retired rail worker is on the enclosed 8th floor museum that overlooks Bailey yard. The 7th floor has open air viewing for the best pictures.
Marilyn M — Google review
The world's largest train marshaling yard. You could spend hours here just watching the trains while drinking a coffee. Everywhere you look there is something going on. It starts at the bottom of the tower with an informative video presentation, and then an elevator ride to the indoor viewing area which also has a number of artefacts on show. There was a member of staff available at the viewing area to explain what was happening outside, but it was fun just watching. There is also an outdoor viewing balcony if you want to hear and smell what is going on too!

Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park is a fascinating destination in North Platte, offering a glimpse into the Wild West era. The park features Buffalo Bill's historic ranch, including his 1886 mansion, barn, and various outbuildings filled with Cody memorabilia. Visitors can explore the grounds, go horseback riding through Dusty Trails, and enjoy hiking trails and fishing at the state recreation area.
Wow! North Platte knows how to do parks! Huge trees, wild animals (caged, not roaming around), carnival rides, food, .... We had a blast!
Darcy H — Google review
There is a fee for admission ($35 and up for a day pass as I recall), which is higher for out of state visitors, so I basically drove through the parking lot and moved along. The rodeo arena next door however, had an event going on with free entry, so opted for that. I would have liked to have learned more about Buffalo Bill. Perhaps some historical marker signage closer to the road.
Jeanette W — Google review
A historical home that is beautifully designed and well maintained. Pictures of Buffalo Bill's family and friends are on display throughout his home. The 148 ft. barn has Buffalo Bill posters, wagons, carriages, saddles, pictures of Annie Oakley, a diorama of Buffalo Bills's family etc.

Fun little area to check out, if you like Buffalo Bill! We also found a geocache while there! It was fun to walk around and see the house and the fields that make up the ranch
Elyri — Google review
Interesting historical mansion with lots of photos and memorabilia of Wiiliam F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody. Apparently, he earned his name for slaughtering over 4,000 buffalos. Thereafter, he was employed as an army soldier, somewhere in his life, as a showman. He performed wild west shows throughout the country and became very successful.

We did not get a chance to see the building due to the fact that they are closed on Mondays. Though we did walk around got a few great pics love the place.

Nestled in the Historic Canteen District, The Cedar Room is a charming American Fusion restaurant with a modern rustic ambiance. Adorned with cedar wood, oak floors, and a copper ceiling, it offers an inviting atmosphere for diners. The menu features a diverse selection of American Fusion Cuisine to cater to various tastes. Visitors can indulge in delectable dishes such as the bacon burger and French dip sandwich while enjoying exceptional service from the friendly staff.
Wow, what a pleasant surprise. This restaurant was recommended to me by the front staff at the Holiday Inn Express. I asked for a locally owned steak restaurant. The food was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and the location had a lot of enjoyable ambiance. I chose the special ribeye with bacon and green beans along with the charcuterie board as a starter. As a bonus, the bar has a wide wine and whiskey selection. Enjoy a hearty meal.

From Minnesota passing through. We were surprised to get such generous size steaks in comparison to what we get at Mn steak restaurants. Very tender and delicious. Happy we stopped by. Also loved the way the place looked. The service was great.

We were staying in town visiting from Vancouver, Washington. We like to eat at local restaurants rather than a chain establishment. Being in beef country, we asked around where we could get a good steak dinner, time and time agin the Cedar Room was mentioned. We entered and were greeted by very friendly staff and taken right to a table. The inside of the restaurant was so nice and inviting. Turns out it was remodeled by the owner when he bought the place several years back. We started off with delicious onion rings and drinks I asked our server what they were famous for, she replied "Well our chicken fried steak is a favorite". Being my favorite meal and having tried countless variations over the years, including my favorite receipt cooked by my mom, well...sorry mom, the Cedar Room is now in first place. It was absolutely the best I have ever had. My wife tried the steak medallions and loved the flavor. Each of the kids got there own steaks. Everything was cooked to perfections and tasted fantastic. We finished off our meals with homemade deserts. This place is fantastic. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

Rain was amazing, made us feel welcome and was quite charming. We had steak medallions and the bacon burger. So delicious. Burger was juicy, bacon perfectly crisp but still meaty. Veggie toppings were fresh and generous. Steak medallions flavorful, medium rare, sauce was delicious. Very pleasant experience. Beef always tastes better in Nebraska and The Cedar room did not disappoint.

If you're on the lookout for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Pizza Ranch in North Platte! This charming buffet chain captures the essence of an Old West theme while serving up a mouthwatering array of options. From their freshly made single topping and specialty pizzas to The Country's Best Chicken, every bite is sure to please. The buffet is always brimming with delicious sides and desserts that will satisfy any craving.
Stopped here on our way through, Easy to get to, and had plenty of parking for truck and 34 foot travel trailer. First impression was it was very clean and food bar seemed to be ready to serve. Tables were far enough apart to give plenty of room. Clean plates and silverware. Food bar was stocked with fresh food and what I liked was that after so many people through the line they changed out to clean servers so that they were clean . If you don't see the crust for you, just ask amd they will make one with your crust you want. A ++++

The salad bar is fresh, and the dessert pizza is the perfect sweet ending. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it great for families and gatherings. I am fond of basic Chinese cuisine such as Sesame chicken, fried rice, and crab Rangoon. The fried rice and Rangoon were excellent, but the Sesame chicken had a different taste from what I'm used to in a sweet and sour sauce. The chicken lacked flavor and required more salt. However, overall I had an enjoyable experience at this restaurant. It is a great place for those who like salty food.
If you haven't tried the Dan Dan Noodles you absolutely should! I get extra Cilantro. It's hearty, spicy and packed full of flavor!

Better than we expected passing through. Definitely a step above normal North Platte offerings. The waitress didn't really know the menu well, but tried her best to be responsive to questions. The sushi side of the menu is quite sizeable. We only tried a few things as a snack. The sushi chef was friendly and also helpful.

My family and I loved this place for a long time, but now we do not. The food was normally amazing! But until recently we have had poor quality food. We have had fuzzy hairs ALL OVER the sushi, and my drink had a fly in it and when I asked for a new one they did not bring a new glass but the SAME one and the fly was still in it. The food was very plane from what it use to be and very dry. And nomrally when we go we expect to wait a while, 15-25 mins but normally its worth it. But we were waited an hour for bad food that I spent $105 on...

I’m a huge sushi eater and have eaten these delicate pieces of food all over the country. We stopped here by chance while traveling and had an amazing surprise. The food is delicious and is served as it is made which means that the seaweed will not get soggy. The size of each portion is really good and prices are on point. There is a huge variety on the menu and the staff is very friendly as well. I don’t think there is anything bad I could say about this place. Super recommended!

Pizza delivery
If you're on the hunt for a delicious pizza experience, look no further than Domino's Pizza! This popular delivery and carryout chain offers an extensive menu featuring not just a variety of pizzas but also an array of sides and other dishes to satisfy any craving. Many customers rave about their seamless ordering process through the app, which makes it easy to customize your pizza with all your favorite toppings.
Stopped by for some lunch, decided to just order and pick up at the store. Crew was friendly and polite even though it was 12PM so they were busy for lunch. Store was clean my Pizza was good, so I’ll be back.

Garbage service. Waited 5 minutes past projected time to pick up my pizza, showed up and got told "it's gonna be a minute". I inquired how long and was told "20-25 minutes". So these guys hadn't even touched my order. No apology, no offer for a refund or a comp, no remorse whatsoever. Garbage service. I hope to escalate this as high as it is able to be escalated, you guys don't deserve to hold the name of my favorite pizza chain. Every single time I come here, I'm met with incompetence. Just get Little Caesars, it's cheaper. No point in paying premium price for subpar service.
Lightnin L — Google review
I usually like the food but this time my pizza was cold and kinda burnt. In the end I only ate the cinnamon twists cause they were the only things good. I fed the pizza to the birds and even they wouldn't eat it. A few dogs showed interest but refused it so I just threw the rest away. I had the 2 for $6.99 special. I think I'll order elsewhere. The driver Trenton was on time and polite so at least their drivers are nice

Ordered delivery and the last 2 times I have had to put my pizza in the oven to warm it up due to it being cold. One time there was a long hair in it. The tracker says its cooked and checked foe quality but then they have them sit there 30 to 45 mins after they are cooked before they deliver them.

I ordered through the app and we are extremely happy!!! The pizza was excellent!!! Thank you!!! The amount of toppings I requested a 10 out of 10!!! Y'all nailed it!! Delivery was fast!!! Considering the Huskers were playing!! Well done for the crew here in North Platte NE!! Thank you!!!

10 times better than Pizza Hut at less than half the money. The thin crust and the pan crust are excellent. Parmesan bites and jalapeno bacon cheesy bread are great too.

Day 3

North side of town
For day 3, we recommend exploring the north side side of town. Start the day off with Cody Park, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to I-80 Lakeside Campground & Storage. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Nature & Parks
Cody Park in North Platte, Nebraska is a diverse recreational area offering various activities and attractions. The park boasts seasonal concessions, an animal enclosure, a train display, sports facilities, picnic spots, trails, children's rides, and food stands. Visitors can enjoy the ornate antique carousel and observe a large collection of animals. Additionally, the park features a full-sized disc golf course for enthusiasts to try out.
Outstanding family friendly community park with campground, small amusement park, playgrounds, ball fields, train museum, zoo, disc golf, pool and lots of picnic areas. Clean and well maintained, day use is fee free and $15 for campsites, (campground is closed for season). I had 3 bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming, no wifi and 8 OTA television channels.

We were in town for 2 nights and needed to take my daughter someplace to run around. I saw Cody Park on the map but had no idea what it included. We were shocked and highly impressed. First we saw a pool then rides and as we continued the loop an Elk swimming and deer! I didn't even know there were animals here. What a great surprise! We ended up spending 3 hours here. My daughter rode 4 rides for $2.00. We all had ice cream for $7. The playground in the back was amazing and we loved the trains! Pat the man that worked at the train museum was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We really enjoyed talking with him. Also the 2 young male attendants that ran the rides had the kids hysterical. They were joking with them and shooting the kids with water guns. They loved it. I highly recommend visiting this park. Especially the kids playground in the back.

Great place to stay and camp a few days. There are no hook ups or showers, but this is not to be missed if you're in the area. The park is clean, well kept and so much to do. There are four playgrounds, a zoo, a pool, ball field and small amusement park area for kids with rides. There is also a train park where you are able to climb up into train, sit in the engine and walk through cars. They are also in the process of adding pickleball courts.

This place is very cool and if you love trains, be sure to check out the Challenger X3977. She's a beauty and they even let you go up in the cab to show you just how huge she is. Its amazing!

I’ve driven through North Platte over a dozen times and had never noticed this park. Way worth the stop. I had a wonderful walk, making a great break, and even saw the captured deer and elk in the pond.

Great playground for kids, loved looking at the animals, beautiful walks near the water. Lots to see!

We planned Cody Park as a stretch your legs stop on a long road trip with kids. We stopped found a shaded picnic table across from the lake by a playground, got to the table and was immediately attacked by mosquitoes. Moved from the grass and shade to the playground in the sun and still fought them off. Moved to the kiddie park and still fighting them. City needs to spray and get them under control so the beautiful park can be enjoyed. On a huge plus the concession stand had 4 options for dairy free soft serve ice cream and it was amazing I give a 5 for the ice cream and a 2 for the park so I will give the overall experience a 3.5

Large park with a variety of recreational opportunities. I came to see the trains, and was very happy with the fact that visitors can get right next to the locomotives and rolling stock; I learned something about the Centennial engine that I'd long wondered, but never been able to observe at close range. The Challenger and Centennial are two of the most famous locomotives in American railroad history, and it is special to have them both publicly displayed in North Platte.

This place was awesome!! I may have enjoyed it more than my kids 😀 John was working and was a great “tour guide” . The size and engineering of the engines was fascinating and being able to climb on/in them and see how the rail cars were set up were cool. Definitely a place you need to stop if you’re going through or in North Platte.

Super park and museum! It was awesome to be able to climb on to and into the Challenger and diesel locomotives on display here. The staff was excellent and knowledgeable giving us a background of the museum and area. My 10 year old and friend enjoyed roll playing around the locomotives. The up close view of the locomotives are a new experience for me and made for great opportunities for pictures. I highly recommend visiting this free park. Parking was easy and there were only a few patrons during Rail Days at North Platte.

We stopped at Cody Park after visiting the Golden Spike tower on a loosely railroad themed roadtrip. The staff were so friendly and easy to talk to that we have brought them up in conversation basically every day since then, and it’s been over a week. We will never forget the kindness of the brief friends we made out of strangers in North Platte ❤️ and yes the trains on display are awesome!
Meredith Z — Google review
The locomotives are very well maintained and very accessible, the Challenger (steam locomotive) had all the controls in the cab labeled, had a great time and got good photos. Visited 2 times, in 2015 and 2017, hopefully will reopen soon.

The ambiance for mother's Birthday at Another Round was perfect, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The chosen time of 130 pm worked well. The waitress was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making conversation effortless as if she were part of the family. The food was delectable, particularly the sweet potato fries. Moreover, they surprised mom with a delightful sundae brownie to celebrate her special day.
We stopped in on a saturday evening. They were very busy. The host was very welcoming and pleasant. Our server was on point as well. We had a group of 8, and the fact that they were plenty busy in the kitchen, so our food wait was a bit long. We got comped with free drinks and kept checking on us during our wait. The food was great when it arrived and we were all very happy overall. The next time we're in town, we'll definitely return. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere.

My husband and I went for a quick dinner and ran into another couple that we joined. We had a horrible time trying to get service as the 3 wait staff were too busy talking to the bartender and ignoring their tables. My husband had to go to the bar to get our drinks. It was not a busy night, we were one of 5 tables which included a party of 10. Two other tables walked out as no one would acknowledge them. Considering how good the food and drinks are, if you have a great wait staff, they should be making bank. I know how I tip and if I had gotten better service, our server could have made a lot more off our table. 5/20/22. A much better experience this time. We did have to wait about 20 minutes for a table but Vanessa took great care of us. We had our drinks, appetizer, salads AND entrees in less than 22 minutes after we had ordered. And YES, I did time it based on our last experience. I had the walleye and it was fabulous. I will definitely get it again.

Yikes. We got the chicken alfredo and french dip.. probably the most bland meal I have ever eaten. If I were a Karen, I would’ve asked for a refund. The garlic bread that came with the chicken alfredo only had a bread taste, no garlic. Disappointed is an understatement.

Tempura is a Japanese restaurant that offers a blend of traditional and modern dishes, including sushi, udon noodles, teriyaki, and familiar Chinese cuisine. The restaurant's cozy yet elegant atmosphere creates a unique dining experience. Customers have praised the delicious food and exceptional presentation, as well as the friendly and attentive service. Despite its unassuming exterior, Tempura has impressed many visitors with its great staff and amazing food.
The food and service are great. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, not as elegant as the food, but the reasonable prices totally make up for it. Highly recommended!

I often travel through North Platte when I go to visit my family. Tonight I was staying at a nearby hotel so I decided to try Tempura because I was in the mood for some sushi. I arrived about 8:55 PM and they close at 9:30 PM on Thursday nights. When I arrived, the restaurant tables were kind of in disarray as it looked like they must’ve had a big dinner rush. Later I heard a server talking to another table saying they had a late rush tonight apparently. The tables were all cleaned up during the time I was sitting there. I ordered the tempura appetizer and the super dragon roll. The service was amazingly quick, especially considering how many people were still in the restaurant. I received my appetizer very quickly - like I was shocked to get it so fast! It’s been a long time since I’ve had some tempura and theirs was very good. My roll came out, almost just as fast. It was good but kind of dry for me because it had so much tempura flakes on it. I guess I somehow missed that in the description. I was wishing I had ordered the sashimi or a roll with just raw slices of tuna on it. As I kind of had enough tempura with the appetizer. The people who work there were all very friendly and working very hard. I was surprised arriving so late and seeing so many people still coming into the restaurant and it sounded like they were still getting several to go orders on the phone as well. Clearly, this place does a lot of business. They even offer up some free dessert of green tea ice cream. Don’t pass it up as it was quite good! I will definitely be back here again to try more of their food. I think I was overwhelmed by their menu because they have so many items. It was hard to make a choice! It would definitely be a good place to go with friends and order lots of different things to share! Sadly, I was traveling by myself so I couldn’t eat much more than what I ordered. I actually left some on the plate, because I was so stuffed. If I had been at home, I would’ve taken it to go with me.

Super tasty food with huge portions. I got the Combination Yaki Noodle and my boyfriend got the 3 piece bento box. Everything was flavorful and hot and the server even gave us free matcha ice cream! Great place to stop on our road trip.

Tasty food with a sizable menu. Service was helpful and friendly. The decorations were cheerful, and it was fun to see the koi pond. We got the Bento box with 3 choices and a salmon sushi roll. All the food was tasty! The green tea ice cream was a nice finish.
Miriam S — Google review
The food was exceptional. Everything was beautifully presented, and tasted delicious. The service was great, friendly and attentive. We arrived as they opened at 11 am on a Thursday, and within 15-20 minutes the place was packed. This is obviously a very popular restaurant. We live a couple hours from North Platte, and only go there occasionally. So glad we decided to have lunch at Tempura. The two of us ordered two appetizers and two sushi rolls to share. We had avocado balls and jalapeno bullet, the Lincoln roll and the North Platte. All with hot green tea, and followed by complimentary green tea ice cream and a fortune cookie. A wonderful treat making our long drive for errands well worth the trip. Can hardly wait til next time to try other menu items. It was hard to choose, so many options that sound very good!
C — Google review
I’ve been coming here for YEARS and when I tell you it’s the only place I’ll accept sushi from in town, I mean it. I would recommend eating in, though. Often times delivery forgets small things like wasabi and ginger with sushi or for some reason I really struggle to get gyoza sauce actually delivered? The service in the restaurant is unmatched. Everyone is very very nice and always makes us smile

Located in the Historic Canteen District downtown, the Espresso Shop by Caravan offers a delightful dining experience with its delicious Green Goddess wrap and relaxing ambiance. The mismatched chairs and tables add to the charm of this unique coffee shop. It's a great spot to kickstart your day with their selection of coffee beverages and freshly made breakfast items like burritos, wraps, and oatmeal. What sets this place apart is its spacious gathering room that often attracts friendly locals.
Can’t wait to return to North Platte and visit The Espresso Shop. The Espresso Shop is a lovely and spacious coffee cafe in downtown North Platte. What I love about this place is the perfectly medium espresso roast. Here are the deets and what I tasted: Roast: medium Notes: toasty + a hint of mocha Taste: a little crema, with no bitterness, acidity or aftertaste While in town, I came almost daily 😋. Their espresso can stand on its own but I love to dress 👗 mines up. Here is what I ordered while in town for a couple of weeks: vanilla oat milk latte 12 oz blackberry + vanilla oat milk latte 16 oz vanilla + rose oat milk latte 16 oz I also ordered an avocado toast with hummus and fried egg which was super delicious. I recommend a 12 oz to really enjoy the flavor of the espresso. As a city girl, I can appreciate a real deal coffee shop in a small town. The owners and staff are lovely. You may have to wait in line because it is a local favorite, but they are professional and diligent to get your order taken and I highly recommend The Espresso Shop Coffee and can’t wait to return.

This place is a gem! Delicious espresso and sandwich. Lots of gluten free options. I did the veggie panini with gfree bread. I asked them if they could wrap the bread in foil or something to toast so they took precautions for cross contamination and reiterated it when they brought it out! The sandwich was more delicious than I expected. Everyone was super friendly and it was a lovely space. Highly recommend!!

The decor is really nice with a spacious dining area. There is a lot of light from the large windows. The outside area is also quite spacious. The vegan options are not plentiful, but I modified the veggie panini to omit the cheese and cream cheese.

Great food and service. Mostly self service. Coffee pick up is on the right of the ordering counter. They bring the food to the table if you are dining in. Due to self service and pick up you can see a lot of people waiting for their order in the front. Restrooms: Unisex, one on the left of the ordering counter and another in a corner of the big dining area. Resources: There is a station for the water, silverware, and napkins underneath big sunset painting. Service: The girl who took our order was very friendly. Other people were dead serious about their work without smiles on their face. Perhaps because it was a busy Friday morning for them. Atmosphere: love the plants in the dining area.

Nestled near the bustling Interstate 80, I-80 Lakeside Campground & Storage is a charming, locally owned campsite that attracts both locals and travelers. With spacious grassy sites for tent or RV camping by a small lake, it offers a wonderful setting and friendly proprietors. While previously criticized for its bathrooms, recent renovations have transformed them into clean, bright spaces with hot water.
Stayed one night with 32 foot travel trailer. It was a little tricky getting in due to surrounding construction but well worth it. Site was clean and full hook ups were an option. I only needed water and electric. Bathrooms were newly remodeled. Showers big and roomy. Very very clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Minimal traffic noise despite being off I 80. Highly recommend if traveling through.

Nice spot with super friendly staff. Sites seem a bit close together, but not a problem when I stayed there as there was no one in the sites around me. I had a nice view of the lake. I was just using this spot as an overnight, so the fact that it was close the the highway is convenient, but you do here the highway, but far enough away not to interrupt sleep. The bathrooms had huge showers and were clean. My only complaint is there was very poor ventilation in the bathroom - it was hot and stinky. It appeared to me that the vent above the door was very dirty and clogged, so there was lack of airflow out the vent the bathroom properly. Also, the stalls are not handicap compliant, there is a lip on the floor of the shower stalls that would be very difficult for someone in a wheelchair or scooter to get over, and no hand held shower head in any stall. No grab bars in any stall.

Great spot to pull off the interstate for a night or spend a few days and take in historical North Platte. The construction was done, so an easy entry. Staff was friendly and the long pull through sites were nice. The place was pretty full but the camp was quiet. Interstate noise was not bad.

First of all this is right off of I-80 they have a beautiful Pond Overlook they do have things to do there if you're staying more than a night or two they have a little bit of construction going on so you have to enter the campsite to the back way I mean honestly the we paid a lot 42 dollars for full hookups for the night it was a great campsite so we we think it was well worth the money

Easy on and off I80 with clean facilities, very pleasant and helpful management, and a great place to walk your dog (big lake).

We were very impressed with this campground!!! We have stayed at many campgrounds and this by far was one of the best. It's not a high end campground but it is very well kept. It does not have a swimming pool But It has a pet area, kids play area, and the small lake has an area for swimming and another area for fishing! very very clean showers that are upgraded, staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The campsite itself was in really good shape. Everything was in good working order. The utility poles at the campsites were in good working order with no rust or broken hinges! It might not have been the top end of everything but it was very well maintained! The price was extremely reasonable and it was an all around great place. My only negative is it's by the freeway which wasn't as loud as we thought it was going to be And you couldn't even hear it once inside your RV. But being that close to the freeway it was very easy access! Thank you for our stay we loved your quiet, clean and friendly campground!

Brothers Tavern offers a relaxed and pleasant ambiance with affordable prices. It is an ideal place for those who enjoy playing Keno, watching sports, and socializing. Their draft beer is served in a cold tall mug at a reasonable cost of $5. The staff has recently undergone substantial changes, experiencing a high turnover rate as new hires leave for other positions. However, the establishment's new ownership appears to be making positive changes.
We stop here every time we go through North Platte. Customer service has always been great. The atmosphere has a hometown feel yet out of town visitors are welcome! We've had the food in the past, which has always been very good.

Only gets a 3 because the servers were nice and friendly. Otherwise a dive. Neither of us finished our burgers. Reminded us of the the gross steamed ones they served in elementary school in the 70s and no amount of smothering in condiments helped. $40 was a lot for 2 horrible burgers and 2 sodas. Very much seemed like a place the older locals hang out to throw their money away on gambling, or sit at the bar and drink their troubles away.

Their combination fajitas, packed with shrimp, chicken, and beef, are served with all the accompanying toppings and a side of rice and beans. The enchilada supremes, filled with chicken, beef, cheese, and beans, are also a favorite among patrons.
This was my first time and I really liked the restaurant! It looks smaller from the outside but it's very roomy and very authentic! The food was amazing!!!!! They had taquitos and flautas made with flour tortillas!!! I haven't found those anywhere recently! Their salsa is amazing and the service was spot on! Very reasonable pricing, as well. Will definitely return!!!

Wasn’t able to grab a picture, but as a truck driver I have tried hundreds of restaurants. This one, was easily one of the best. I got the three taco plate, and sometimes you go places and get tacos and you need sauce, salsa, or a drink to gulp down the dryness. Not these, these were by far the juiciest, favorable and tender tacos I have ever had. Will be coming back here a couple times a month for sure.

The service here was good except we came at the tail end of the lunch rush at around 12:45 approximately. So it was a good 40 minutes of waiting for other people to get their food before they could even start cooking ours. The salsa was decent as were the chips. Because of our ended wait we went through a couple bowls of salsa and 2 baskets of chips to help kill the time. Place was clean and had a good design and layout and pleasant atmosphere. I wish the tables would of had a selection of different hot sauces to pick from instead of just one generic one. I ordered Fajitas as it's pretty hard to mess those up. But I was wrong. Food was warm , not hot and sizzling. Nothing was spiced or seasoned. The steak was under cooked and was a disturbing grayish colour and not a vibrant dark brown etc.. the peppers and onions also not properly cooked. The chicken was almost non existent and the shrimp under cooked as well and sparce to come by. The other plate had overcooked rice, or I was getting what was left from the bottom of the pot perhaps. The refried beans were runny and the wrong colour, like almost a very pale pinkish grey. The pico needed work and the guacamole was fresh, so bonus! LOL! I found out after that it was the regular chef's one day off and they had an 18 year old kid in the kitchen who was barely hanging in there after getting slammed with the lunch rush. I hope to return in the future to give this place another shot and see if they can redeem themselves.

Our family ate here last year while in town for NebraskaLand Days. We decided to try it again this year since we all enjoyed the authentic food. The food was very good both times. Loved the chips and guacamole. Between all of us, we ordered enchiladas, tacos and chicken mole. No one was disappointed. Our waitress was very friendly. Overall a great experience.

Portions were generous and food was fresh. However, we have never been to a Mexican restaurant where the meats in the Tacos are unseasoned. This might be a regional preference but where we are from meat is seasoned.
Christy S — Google review
I felt as the food was bland, I got the shrimp enchiladas and all I could really taste was tge cheese and tortillas. I also had the flan and it was very watery when I ate it. It was very strange and not like the other ones I've had before the staff was very friendly

Fantastic steak tacos! The enchiladas were amazing! Hot tip: ask for the green salsa and you will be happy you did 😊

This place is awesome! I got the carnitas torta with a side of rice and beans. It was delicious! The server was amazing, she was super friendly and was attentive to us as we ate our food. They have awesome pictures around the restaurant, you can sit at the bar or on the tables around the place. I definately recommend coming here for some awesome authentic mexican food.

Sandwich shop
Subway is a delightful casual dining spot where you can customize your own sandwiches and salads, catering to those who prioritize health-conscious choices. During my recent road trip back from Colorado, I decided to make a pit stop at this gem off the interstate. The experience was truly rewarding! The staff member crafting my sandwich was not only friendly but also attentive, ensuring that every detail of my order was just right.
Stopped here on on way back from a vacation in Colorado it was definitely worth the drive off the interstate. Food was great the guy making the sandwiches was very very friendly and took the time to provide great customer service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. He greeted us, asked us what we wanted and made our orders accurately even checking to make sure we didn’t want anything extra. We took our sandwiches to go, they were fresh and just perfectly made lots of toppings plenty of meat and cheese. Would recommend this subway!

Came here on our way back to Colorado. I’ve never had a more pleasant experience. Maybe Colorado locations are just rude, but the two guys there today were helpful and very patient with our 5 person order.

Amazing service and prices i went in at 8 on Saturday September 27th. I didn't catch the guys name and I wish I did. Awesome job and very quick and friendly. And I got three subs for 20$! Wow awesome service and price and it was so clean. Thank you.

The guy was making sandwiches for someone who wasn't there yet. Maybe he didn't want to forget what he was doing, but it seemed to take a while to get to me. The sandwich was good though. I'd like to see them rip some of the bread out of the bun first so there's more room for the good stuff.

I ordered a black forest ham with American cheese and herbs and cheese bread toasted with regular mayonnaise on it when I got my sandwich. It was on flatbread with no cheese at all.
Sativa M — Google review
Been coming here for years, have always had a great experience…except for today at 1:10 pm. The young man running the counter was extremely rude to my son. My son was looking at the meat selection and the guy snapped at him and said “ you can’t just pick something to put on your sandwich, you have to order off the menu”. Regretfully you’ve lost my business. I don’t do business with people that treat kids like dirt.
James D — Google review
Every time I come here the wait is 15-30 minutes. There is always someone in front of me with a massive order. They have got to hire more people. The same wonderful lady is here every time I have come on shift all day and she is normally the only person on shift. She is very kind and good but also very overworked. I hope she gets a raise and a few days off.

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's is a timeless fast-food institution that has been delighting taste buds for decades. Renowned for its iconic burgers and crispy fries, this beloved chain offers a quick and satisfying dining experience. Whether you're grabbing a meal on the go or enjoying a casual outing with friends, McDonald's remains a staple in the world of fast food, serving up familiar favorites that have become part of many people's culinary journeys.
Great location 👌 inside the Love's center. Good selection of menu items 👌 I really like the $5 McDouble meal deal 😋 double burger 🍔, 4 McNuggets 🐔, fries 🍟 and a drink 🥤 This McDonald's offers free soda refills from a fountain machine. The restrooms 🚻 were clean and neat, as was the restaurant 👌 Handicap ♿️ parking available and wheelchair ♿️ ramp 👩‍🦽👨‍🦽 I highly recommend them 😀

Very slow service. Why is it that a large fry fills the whole container when you order in, but for takeout the container has so fewer fries inside? Happens at pretty much every McDonald's I go to. I'm including a picture to demonstrate how pathetic my "large" fries order was.
N R — Google review
Very disappointing experience — for the third time in a row. We came to this McDonald’s specifically for a Happy Meal with a Squishmallows toy, which we selected through the app. Yet again — for the third time — we were given a Sonic toy that we didn’t want. We clearly explained that we placed the order only because of the toy, but the staff just said there was nothing they could do. We asked politely if they could open the toy display and let us choose from the ones they had visibly available — again, we were refused. Our child started crying, and we had to stop at a gas station to buy another toy, because it was too hard to explain to him why he was being disappointed for the third time. This could have been easily avoided: • Put a sign on the counter if specific toys are out of stock; • Or at least disable that option in the app if it’s not actually available. While we were eating inside, we witnessed at least three more families having the same conflict — doesn’t anyone realize this is a recurring issue? Extremely disappointed. It’s not even about the toy — it’s about how issues are handled. And here, they simply aren’t.
Valentyn C — Google review
Im not surprised it has 3stars, in my opinion its worth half a star the way I was made to stand there and watch the manager just squirm around try her best to look busy just not to check me out behind the counter. I refuse to do self check out without an incentive, and this proves that the manager is worthless at customer service, and shouldn't be in her position. An employee I could see doing this, but a manager should be a better example.
Anatoliy's- E — Google review
We used the drive thru. Waited half an hour for our food. There was nobody ahead of us or behind us. After waiting a while, there were other cars starting to line up. We watched 3 other cars get their order before us. When we tried to kindly speak to the employee with purple braided hair walking back to the building, she put her finger up to us and wouldn't even look at us as she walked by and not approach our vehicle. We continued to wait until she finally brought out our food. Tossed it to us. Still refusing to speak to us and we were so off put that we drove away not realizing part of our order was missing and food was cold. We didn't even order anything special! Cheeseburger meal and chicken sandwich meal, that was it! Idk if this location has over worked and understaffed their employees at this location, but that was absolute terrible service.
Jessica A — Google review
I ordered in the drive-thru. They asked me and 3 other cars to pull up and park as they were waiting on French fries. After an over 10 minute wait, they finally brought out the food and NOTHING was hot or fresh. It was actually almost just room temperature. Terrible food.
Gideon B — Google review
Had ordered 3 mc doubles and 2 McChickens. Absolutely the worst McDonald's food I have had in a very very long time, which says a lot. Beef patties burnt, and extremely dry, onions were missing. Literally disgusting. Even their mcchicken tasted like it sat for an hour. With 5 sandwiches, and each being equally bad, it wasn't just a mistake. This place doesn't care. Go to the other McDonald's near here or eat the food at love's
Reinier B — Google review
If I could put zero I would, on a road trip stopped to get a couple coffee and a few sandwiches. Had to repeat myself 6 times that I wasn’t a vanilla ice coffee not a carmal one. I have a trailer hooked on so small enough to fit in drive thru big enough no to park. While pay at the second window the short dark skin lady was giving me so much attitude and was visibly upset when I corrected her for the 7 th time on the coffees I wanted. So then they parked us for 2 sausage mc muffins and made us wait 30 mins bringing us two people behind us orders not ours. And then refused to give us straws we had to walk into the gas station to get them and napkins. I would not recommend going to this location they all have bad attitude, forget and do things wrong cause you up set them it’s not worth it.

Restaurant
Pals Brewing Company is situated in a serene rural setting, offering a peaceful escape for beer enthusiasts and food lovers. The owners' Wisconsin roots are evident in the menu, featuring classic Wisconsin cheese curds alongside freshly made pizzas and appetizers. This North Platte brewery is known for its local craft beers and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors can look forward to small-batch releases on Sundays and indulge in delicious pairings such as pizzas, ribs, and flavorful appetizers.
Lively atmosphere and good beer. Food menu was extensive for a brewery as well. Plenty of TVs to watch the sports games. Service was attentive and friendly. Love the keg urinal in the men's bathroom too. A nice touch!

We dropped into Pals for a bite and a few drinks after a long day of driving and enjoyed it immensely! he atmosphere is lively, casual, and fun. It's a huge establishment with lots of indoor and outdoor spaces and plenty of staff to service both. The outdoor patio features a beautiful spacious lawn, with fire pits and loud music. I tried a Bloody Mary and a Cucumber Mule from their cocktails, and Carrie had a strawberry rhubarb (not a typo) and a pineapple beer. All were delicious. And my Mary came with a chaser beer - our server recommended the pickle to compliment the drink and he was spot on. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza and it was delicious, with a thin crunchy crust and plenty of cheese and ham. Drinks and pizza together it was an excellent meal, and combined with the party vibe and rambunctious crowd the whole experience was just awesome. We'll make sure to include Pals on our itinerary anytime we're passing within 100 miles of this place. It really was great.

Pals Brewing Company was a great find as we travelled through North Platt. We were looking for a place to camp with our camper and they graciously let us stay with our Harvest Host subscription even though it was late. The salad, pizza and beer were delicious thanks to the chef and brewmaster. The entire staff are super friendly and helpful. The outdoor fun space is great for entertainment with horseshoe pits, corn hole, beach volleyball court and other games. We are so glad we found this place. Definitely a place we will return to as we travel through again. Thanks Pals staff for a wonderful experience.

We stayed here overnight as members of Harvest Hosts (RVers overnights) and couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating and friendly venue! Their location is on outskirts of town with the most incredible view of the Nebraska sky! Of course we experienced the Keegans Pizza and Spinach Salad with Bleu Cheese, Walnuts, and Cranberries!!! So good!!! The employees were ALL INCREDIBLE and so friendly! Great place! Our dogs loved the bark park too! Thanks for accommodating us! Loved everything!

We have had the pleasure of camping at Pals Brewery 3 times and make it a point to spend an evening here when we are traveling thru town. Great beer and very tasty pizzas. The staff provides excellent service and are most accommodating. I enjoyed the pickle beer ( really, it is very good) and we had their Wisconsin Pizza even though we are from MN. Lots of outdoor games to keep everyone entertained and Very Dog Friendly

We stopped at Pal’s for our second time traveling across I 80. They have an area for RVs to stay thru Harvest Host. a great place just off the interstate at North Platte. The pizza is fabulous. The beers are terrific especially the Irish Stout. My daughter is a celiac and had their gluten-free option for pizza. she liked the pizza lot and although they do not have a dedicated oven, she did not get sick. The staff is great and very friendly. Don’t pass up Pal’s.

Go-karting venue
Amusement park
Cody Go Karts is a family-owned amusement park that offers go-kart rides on two tracks, bumper boats, adventure miniature golf, water slides, and a game room. The facility also features an indoor and outdoor amusement area with various attractions. Visitors can enjoy the Slick Track go-kart ride and other activities suitable for kids aged 9 and above who are at least 52" tall.
One of the best made mini golf courses. So much thought put into the layout. Talked to the owner and he reused so many things and no detail is overlooked. Also, the flowers and nature walk was top notch.
Jake S — Google review
You can clearly see the Go cart sign off of 80 heading west. Leaving you plenty of time to act impulsive. Stop off, race each other! It’s like 9.50 per person per ride. But you get a lot of laps. There are two tracks. One is a speed track the other is for drifting. Also bumper boats and other attractions. But we stopped for the carts. It’s classic fun no matter the age.
Exit Z — Google review
This place was great! We've been trying to come here for a while but never had a chance up until recently! A super beautiful place to do mini golf my husband and i absolutely fell in love with all the greenery around the mini golf section. We enjoyed the go kart racing and the arcade. Definately a great place to have fun either alone or with family.
Audrey V — Google review
I wish I could rate the go carts and mini golf separately but unfortunately I can't. Go carts would get 5 stars! Staff was wonderful, go carts were a blast! We had so much fun!! Thanks guys! Mini golf was less than appealing. We're from Arizona visiting family that didn't want to play but would've liked to walk along with us. They wanted to charge to walk with. If we would've known what the course was like we would've absolutely walked. We made the best of it but I can't believe they would insist on payment to be there amongst the over grown weeds, stagnant "ponds" and hastily put together course. Mother in law ended up hanging out in the car until we were done. I 100% would've rather spent that money on more go carts. My advice, stick to the go carts, mini golf is over priced and absolutely not worth it.
E D — Google review
It is a good place however it has no authority with the drivers. If you have small children it is not a safe place, in my attendance at these go karts a driver crashed me, some children and several other people, even one child was hit with such force that his kart spun. The managers only made signs to him but that did not stop him and at the end of the race the guy left calmly without any sanction and they did not give the drivers any apology.
Ingrid G — Google review
Perfect family-friend stop for some vacation fun. Water slides were not busy mid-week and water was clean. There is lots of huge shade trees so you will see some leaves etc in water but not bad. Water temp so refreshing on 100 degree day. Go karts and bumper boats were awesome. Game room is very retro and was interesting playing the live chicken tic-tac-toe. Any negative reviews on the mini golf course is crazy, owner has put his heart into building it and it is BEAUTIFUL!
Bill E — Google review
Kids loved it. Parents loved it. Totally worth it. We went on both tracks and bumper boats. It does cost $$$ to do activities Iike this. These places are disappearing. This place is just like driving the cars from 30 years ago because these are actually 30 yr old cars and well maintained. There is a small arcade and the machines are almost all 25 cents still in 2022. 52" and taller and 9 yrs old can drive their own car.
Jack S — Google review
Everything was amazing so much fun. However a major letdown that we talked to them about mini golf and then the mini golf dude left because we said we were going to do one more race. 1 and a half hrs early major letdown and they lost 80 dollars at least for this.

Took my grandson there for his bday. The food was cold. The one waitress you had working only came over 2 times, and there was only 4 tables of people there. Had to ask for missing food, silverware, napkins and the cups for our pitchers of drink. Cost me $220 for 10 people to eat. Than we bought cards for 7 kids with $20 each and they would swipe the card, it took credits off, but most of the games wouldn't work! And no one would help the kids redem their points....Total waste of money! Next time pizza ranch is getting my $350!!!

waste of money this place is so bad we paid for an hour to bowl and there were two errors which took up 15 minutes of our time that we weren’t given back and lots of games in the arcade don’t work we lost money because of that and didn’t get it back don’t recommend they need to learn how to put an out or order sign on their games.

Hosted a 13th birthday arcade party. We got there 10 minutes till NOTHING was ready. The "host" threw 10 plates out, asked us what time we wanted the pizza. My sons name was NOT posted on the sign. We DID NOT receive invitations even tho we scheduled 2 weeks in advanced. 150+ for an hour of arcade is literally all we received. We have 1 more birthday scheduled that unfortunately invitations are already out but WILL NEVER use this place for a birthday again. Outrageous for basically nothing. 😳 big disappointment 😞 here is the decorated room we have for his party

Park
Memorial Park Splash Pad is a popular spot in North Platte, offering a range of activities for families. The park features iconic concrete Lincoln Highway markers and historical sites nearby, making it an educational visit as well. During the summer, kids can enjoy the splash pad along with playground equipment, basketball hoops, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. The park provides ample shade from mature trees and has well-maintained facilities including benches and a garden area.
This is a great place for family get-togethers and gatherings... Birthday parties anniversaries ect. Restrooms are decent and an excellent upkeep of the park. Everyone is usually pretty good about keeping it picked up after the fur babies as well

Loved everything about the park. We took advantage of the splash pad, playground, pickleball courts and picnic tables. The only thing that could have made the park better is for it to have an off-leash dog area for some Frisbee fetch.

Chain eatery specializing in thick-crust pizzas, also offering sides & desserts.
Godfathers Pizza is the best pizza in the country. Even Italians would love it. New York and your weird thin slices of pepperoni... eat your heart out. This Godfathers Pizza has a “fun zone” as well so its a great place to take kids. The only downside is that the arcade is really expensive. Other than that... you are doing yourself a huge disservice if you don’t try Godfathers Pizza. Get the taco pizza on regular crust.

I got Godfathers through DoorDash one night while staying in a motel, so I can’t speak on service/atmosphere. I’m just passing through on my way to Pennsylvania, so I’ve never had Godfather’s before, but it was great! My husband and I both really enjoyed it! It’s a new favorite of mine! I’ll be searching for a Godfather's pizza in every city I stop from here on out. Pizza was still hot and packaged with care for delivery.

We pre-ordered take out from here on July 2 (several hours early) since we were going to be driving through on a road trip. When we got there, they hadn't even started making our order, saying they were sorry but they were backed up because of a large order they had. Since it was going to be another 25 to 30 minutes to get our food and we had to continue our trip, we went ahead and cancelled our order. We had originally prepaid for it, but the manager said she voided the order and even gave us a voided receipt. BUT, we still got charged for it and no refund has come across. Now they won't respond to us to get this resolved. I guess we'll never order from here again even though we drive through frequently. Super disappointed.

Local bar and grill with a little "BIG" bowling alley on the side. Great burger and chicken wing selection. They have the old fathful beers with a good selection of local craft brews on tap what ever your flavior may be.

The only pizza place in town worth your money. Yes the prices look expensive however, they have so many deals that makes it all worth it. The pizza wasn't greasy and is the only pizza my pregnant wife can eat without a stomach ache so that's gotta say something.

Would give 0 stars if i could. Ordered delivery for our family and after an hour and a half we called and asked where our food was. They said they didn't know but the doordash driver picked it up. After awhile longer we called and they said "sorry I guess we had another doordash driver take the food and not deliver it". Don't offer delivery if you don't deliver it yourself. Go elsewhere for pizza if you are wanting delivery. Horrible experience.

Fast food restaurant
Taco John's is a delightful fast-food chain that specializes in Mexican-inspired cuisine, offering a mouthwatering selection of tacos, burritos, nachos, and even breakfast items. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting one of their locations and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and fresh food served hot right from the kitchen. It’s been quite some time since my last visit to Taco John's, but this experience reminded me why it’s worth returning.
Two options for Taco John's in town. This one is the far better option. Staff that actually knows how to take care of customers, and does not freak out thinking they are slammed when the lunch hour rolls around.

This place must employee the dumbest people on the planet. They managed to screw up my super Ole, not once but twice in one order. I will never go back to this location again. They were rude about having to fix the first screw up and still got it wrong with the second one. Don't waste your time going here.
Faln A — Google review
There was no customers in drive through and nobody in line in lobby. Yet 5 employees working, but nobody could stand long enough to finish an order. It was also the longest wait I've ever had at a Taco John's. I really hope I don't end up finding someone hair in my food. I absolutely don't recommend this location to anyone.

After reporting a horrible order last night to staff, Tommy said they would talk to the employee. No offer to make it right whatsoever. Disappointed and will never waste money there again.

We were there on the evening of June 18th. The service that night was phenomenal and the food was phenomenal everything was fresh and hot they didn't miss a thing. It has been a long time since I've been to Taco John's and was satisfied.

The second time i ordered taco salad & no chicken even asked for extra chicken and the taco bowl is less than half full of just lettuce & cheese the worst ever. Never coming back to this scam food place.

The lady at the drive through was vary rude and demanding. We go a super natcho a chicken quesadilla and a beef burrito. We got a bathroom that had stal and under cooked chips and a quesadilla that had steak and a bean burrito. Not to mention the two sodas we got tasted like they had been sitting in the cups for hours. Awful will never go back.

On a cross country trip for 2 + months. HANDS DOWN worst meal in the country. So salty it wasn't edible. $60 for 4 people wasted.

Pizza delivery
If you're on the hunt for a reliable spot to satisfy your pizza cravings, look no further than Pizza Hut. This beloved chain offers a delightful array of pizzas, wings, pasta, and tempting sides and desserts that cater to every taste bud. During my recent visit with family, we were greeted by friendly service and enjoyed piping hot pizza with perfectly melted cheese and a satisfying crust—crispy on the outside yet soft within.
Stopped in at Pizza Hut with the family and we all enjoyed it. The pizza came out hot, cheese perfectly melted, and the crust had that nice crunch while still soft inside. Service was friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for our order. Place was clean and felt welcoming. Not the fanciest spot, but for good pizza at a fair price, it hits the mark.

Called in for delivery and got a call center place my order and they forward you to an automated system that I made system said that it would not accept my card. I tried to call back to cancel my order the call center people said they can’t do it so they forward you to the store which is where the call should’ve went in the first place I sit on hold for over 30 minutes. Nobody answered the phone. I started reading reviews on here. Sounds like there’s an ongoing problem. I don’t know how you expect to charge over $30 for 12 wings and then give service like this or no service at all. I agree with one of the previous reviews you guys need to get it together?

The employee Kenneth Is a phenomenal employee he was attentive helpful and just kind when I came into the store to order tonight very nice young man. Could tell he cares about his place of employment and just overall a great employee you should be very proud of him and how he treats your customers

Would be OK if you can understand there call center. Bunch of foreigner that can't speak English and mess up the order all the time. Put you on hold for a half hour just to order a messed up pizza. GET RID OF CALL CENTER

ABSOLUTE EMBARRASSMENT!!!! Put an order in online today 5/25/25 at 1600 hours. The app said my order would be delivered between 16:54 and 1704. Finally at 1730 I called and called trying to get my order cancelled and was repeatedly put on a transfer to the store where I am on hold and no one answers. Online states that they’re open as well as the corporate gal I spoke to.

Coffee shop
Dunkin' is a beloved coffee and breakfast destination that has become a staple in North Platte, NE. Nestled at 201 Platte Oasis Pkwy Suite 1, this vibrant chain offers an extensive menu featuring over 50 types of donuts alongside delicious breakfast sandwiches. It's the perfect spot for anyone craving a caffeine boost or a quick snack throughout the day. Visitors appreciate the friendly service and clean dining area adorned with seasonal decor, making it an inviting place to relax.
My only complaint is how the donuts aren't the same size or frosted the same/nicely. Idk if they come frozen or what but the inconsistency sucks. I also wish the app allowed me to modify my drink more. I love the pistachio bev but that waffle cone is disgusting. It won't let me remove that (or the cinnamon on the caramel latte, like what? Cinnamon and caramel don't go together)
Karla B — Google review
None of the coffee we ordered were made correctly. The munchkin donuts were dry. The breakfast sandwich cheese wasn't melted and egg was barely warm
Melissa B — Google review
Their app is amazing! Order ahead is a time saver for me because I work early mornings. My order is always spot on and hot. Most of all, the faces are friendly and happy to see me.
Cheryl D — Google review
The customer service has went downhill. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel with cream cheese and only got a bagel with cream cheese. I called and employee said she would leave a note in the office. On a separate day I ordered the same thing and it didn't have cream cheese. We are charged extra for cream cheese only to not get it. When I called again she said that since I hadn't gotten either she would just leave a note for me to get a sandwich when I came in. The next morning I order donuts (which we do frequently). I mention the sandwich while I am ordering, then get to the window and they have several different people asking questions about when I ordered (which I had already given order numbers). There was a line of people behind me and they still didn't trust that I had been charged for this stuff and not received it. The customer service used to be really good, however this is unprofessional. I just left without getting what I paid for 🤷

Clean dining area with seasonal decor. Clean private restrooms.

Arguably the worst attempt at a doughnut. I ordered doughnut holes and received glazeless rolls. Not sure how you screw up a glazed doughnut but they nailed it. Do not recommend this Dunkin
Meghan B — Google review
So even though their butternut donuts/munchkins are by far the most popular, today was my 7th trip in a row that they were out at 10:30 in the morning, (OR 3:30pm)!!! One cashier said yeah we're out by 8am. I asked why they don't make more? No answer and the Friday morning manager just rolled her eyes. She's not a friendly person as I've seen her many times. I ended up going to Starbucks. Just pretty disappointed at being disappointed. They do sometimes make a really good avocado, bacon and tomato sandwich but they vary greatly from visit to visit.
