North Creek in 1 day

If you only have 1 day to spend in North Creek, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
North Creek is a small Adirondack town known as a gateway to outdoor adventure, with quick access to Gore Mountain for skiing and snowboarding in winter. In warmer months, visitors come for hiking, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting on the nearby Hudson River. The historic North Creek Depot Museum highlights the area’s railroad and skiing heritage, including one of the earliest ski trains in the United States. A compact main street with local eateries and lodgings makes it an easy base for exploring the surrounding mountains and lakes.
With favorites like Cafe Sarah, Gore Mountain, and Basil & Wick's, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Basil & Wick's and Izzy's Market & Deli so you can get the best taste of North Creek while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

The best skiing resort in NY. Parking can get tight if you come late. Ski lifts are in good condition. Pricing on tickets are extremely pricing but if you come here with good snow and great weather you’ll be happy. For us the drive here is about 5 hours so we generally sleep in the ADK park before. Conditions here are always better than white face

Gore Mountain is hands down one of the best snowboarding destinations on the East Coast! We visited on a Friday and had a fantastic time exploring the multiple trails, all with great snow coverage. When we returned on Saturday, the weekend crowd was noticeably larger, but the wait times for the gondola and lifts were surprisingly manageable. The multiple lodges were well-equipped and efficiently staffed, while the restaurants and bars provided quick and friendly service. From the well-maintained trails to the excellent lift system and outstanding staff, Gore Mountain delivers a top-tier winter experience that’s absolutely worth the trip!
Noel A — Google review
Only did the gondola ride up to the top. The top had a wedding going on so ability to access the area was limited and this was not mentioned when buying the tickets. The tickets for $26 a piece is pricey for the experience. The trails are weird as they also have biking on them. If you want to actually get to the summit you have to hike another 1.2 miles (says takes an hour to do) so you have to plan accordingly to get to the summit.
Michael F — Google review
Visited during the harvest fest. The vendors were diverse. Could have used more food trucks as the lines were very long. The gondola ride to the top of the mountain was very nice with great views.

I love Gore! Classes are so good! I got group classes for lessons and I learned how to ski and they are a lot of adults doing so!! I love how knowledgeable instructors are and love how big it is. After 4 sessions ski lessons I’m now in bigger green area and got to enjoy something new in my life. Group classes price is not that much more than just day passes so if you don’t know how to ski it’s the best way to get into it! I love how big it is and they have multiple trails and lifts. Gore mountain staff is super super nice in General. I got some problem and they helped me a lot and can’t thank them enough. The only thing I don’t like about here is the quality of food is not good at all. There is a restaurant at the end that you need to avoid going there because you gonna have the most disgusting chickens -at least what I had- and low quality service
Shima H — Google review
I just want to see and experience going to Whiteface mountain and see the fall leaves. The drive to Lake Placid is relaxing lots of nice scenery.
Darllene M — Google review
don't bother with the scenic sky rides. the gondolas need to be updated because they're so scratched up, you can't see the view. we were really disappointed and felt like we wasted money.
Caylee L — Google review
We took the day gondola to the top to catch the view. Fairly priced and nice service helping my little niece on and off the cabin. Stellar view from the top!

Adirondack All Seasons Outfitters, established in 2021, is a year-round outdoor equipment store offering retail and rental services. The store prides itself on its knowledgeable staff and a wide range of equipment for all outdoor adventures. Customers have praised the convenience of daily rentals for skiing at Gore, noting the excellent service and quality equipment. Additionally, the store offers expert boot fitting services to ensure maximum comfort for customers.
Best rental and gear shop in the area hands down. The ownership is amazingly kind and has helped me keep my two winter loving boys equipped from socks to helmets and skis. When one wanted to try snowboarding they were right there with the perfect gear and if they don't have the size in their current rental stock, they didn't even hesitate to give me brand new gear off the shelves. Don't waste your time anywhere else !

Review for Adirondack All Season Outfitters Adirondack All Season Outfitters is our go-to spot for ski gear rentals whenever family and friends visit. Their customer service is top-notch, making what could be a hectic process—getting a group of adults and kids fitted for ski gear—smooth and stress-free. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always goes the extra mile to make sure everyone is comfortable and ready to hit the slopes. What really sets them apart is how they treat customers like family. Every time we walk in, we feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Whether it’s adjusting boots, finding the perfect fit for little ones, or just offering helpful advice, they make the entire experience enjoyable. Adirondack All Season Outfitters is simply the best place around for ski rentals, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!
Michael O — Google review
Amazing service, Jake was really knowledgeable and very helpful in helping with finding the right fit. Bought new skis and boots. Find Jake, he is great.
Firefly T — Google review
First stop whenever visiting gore. Family owned and operated and the service there will make you feel like you’re a part of it. Extremely kind, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I bought a pair of Armada skis there a year ago and when I came in to have them adjusted to my boots a year later they remembered me. The rental equipment is much better than you’ll find on the mountain and is priced better as well. If you’re in the market for new skis like I was, they have ones you can demo for the day before committing to buying them. Wide variety of all types of equipment to grab if you forgot your goggles like I did this time around. For me, a big part of why I like this shop opposed to others you might pass is the “warm” feel that you get here. The best way to put it is you feel like a friend or family when you go in and walk out with a smile every time because of their service. If you’re in need of any equipment for the week or weekend, be sure to stop here and you’ll see exactly what I mean.
Dany M — Google review
The staff at Adirondack All Seasons could not have been nicer. From our initial phone call to get details through our large party (14) getting sized and fitted, the process was flawless. Thank you for taking such good care of our group. The equipment was pristine, comfortable and we will definitely be returning.
Danielle A — Google review
This place is awesome. I rented and then bought skis and boots the next days. Got a great deal with top notch equipment —- and NO UPSELL. Go see Jake who is a Certified Master Boot expert. He found me boots that felt great and is just a really nice person who can help you find what you need for your type of skiing.

Several of us in my family have been learning to ski the last couple years and this year we decided to try out Adirondack All Seasons for our daily rentals when we ski at Gore. The service is great; and the equipment has been great as well. The staff is amazing! Each time we come to get rental equipment, we are in and out of there within 15 minutes - so much more convenient than renting at Gore, with better equipment, and less expensive. When we are ready to make the leap to buying gear, I’m sure we will start here.

Wish some of the parking signs were a little clearer- had trouble figuring out where in the park the Schaefer trail for Gore Mt. was. Pretty park though. Was impressed with how well-maintainer (aka bug-and-spider-free the restrooms were.

I ride a lot at gore. I am 47 and learned to ski at gore at the age of 4! The ski bowl is a great addition that was not there when I grew up. My wife, daughter, and I went for New Years Eve night skiing. It was just one run, but we had a blast. There were only 10 other people there! Not only that, but that area has very technical skiing, Glade skiing, and is one of my favorite parts of the mountain when it is all open. They also have cross-country skiing, which I always wanted to try.
Rainbow I — Google review
Perfect for beginner skiers. Super friendly and helpful staff that give you advise and instructions on wearing the ski gear. Really enjoyed and had a lot of fun at this place. Will definitely visit again.
Jess W — Google review
Grew up going to the old Ski Bowl as a kid. Spent many summers going to the youth group center and playing on the play ground. The area has deffinately changed with the main center gone and the new ski lift and everything there, but little gore still has so much to offer. Hang out and hike some of the trails or evwn talk a walk/hike up the lift pathings. If your there during the summer head on over to the swimming hole beach. Not a big fan of the "campground" style loop they put in, but then again id much rather grab a tent, couple blankets and rough it, not stay in a camper.

For a small town it may not have some of the fancy things you would find at other parks but if you want to give the pups a place to stretch their legs and get a good run in this is the place. they have a water station and lots of room to play. Revolution Rail Co. North Creek offers an exhilarating railbike adventure along the original Adirondack railroad tracks, providing various routes to explore parts of the Adirondacks in a unique way. The North Bridge Run takes you through the stunning Adirondack forest, offering breathtaking views and a chance to see the area's beauty.
We went on Friday with 2 kids and we had a great experience. It’s a must thing to do while on vacation in Lake George. The views were great. We have learned some history about the trails and President Roosevelt. Very knowledgeable and nice team!!! Thank you for making this experience unforgettable!!! We will be back next year for sure. ;)

Such a treat in North Creek! Helpful staff made the trip very easy. Four seater peddled by 3 people and it was easy. There were great views of the Hudson River & forest. Families with small kids, they have harnesses to strap in the kids. All other passengers have a lap belt. Some picnic tables at the half way point. If you're the first cart, you'll have time for a very quick snack.

Wow, what a great experience! Revolution Rail North Creek is an amazing attraction along the Hudson River in North Creek. We went on the South River Run, which takes you south along the Hudson to the ending point where there are picnic tables and a short hike down to the river. The South River Run is about 8 miles out and back, taking about 2 hours. The station you depart from is really cool with a gift shop, restrooms, and some stuff to do outside while you're waiting. There is also the North Bridge Run, which I did not do this time. The rail bikes themselves are decently easy to pedal and easy for all ages. And I can't forget to mention the tour guides, as they were absolutely amazing. They stay in front and in the back of the group, and then at the ending point tell you some history and awnser questions. They were all great. I highly recommend Revolution Rail North Creek if you want a fun experience in the Adirondacks!

I think sometimes people forget they’re paying for an experience not to mention multiple staff members livings! I feel the price for what we got was expected! My boyfriend and I were road tripping from Missouri and this was our last stop! The staff was great and even took photos of you at certain stopping points which is something so appreciated! This has been on my bucket list for so long. Would highly recommend! (We also saw a bear!)

Must do when visiting Lake George, NY. Our multi generation group, spanning in age from one to 70+ years young, enjoyed our South River Run tour. Beautiful scenery, fun atmosphere and excellent history lesson on the excursion. Highly recommend!

This is an absolute must if you are in the Adirondacks. We did the North bridge run and we had so much fun. Friendly guides, beautiful scenery, fresh mountain air, and learned some history about the area. It is definitely exercise (fun exercise) especially to the half way point but the way back was much easier . We even coasted without peddling at times. There's a basket on the back of the car to bring a small cooler and they take a photos for you if you have your cell phone. We are Definitely doing this again when we come back. Great family experience! Would love to see this expand to WNY or the southern tier area of NY so we could do it more often!

An absolutely wonderful experience through Hadley, NY. The views are beautiful, we encounter a few deer and other wildlife across the way. The rail itself is breathtaking, and the experience was 100% worth every penny. The rail guides are super helpful, informative and kind.

Great experience while visiting lake George, of course the morning we pre-booked in early October was in the low 30s, luckily they sold gloves in the office. Staff was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. Will be checking out their other locations in the Adirondacks as well as other states. Want to try the Hadley trail to pedal over the 90ft high trestle bridge. A++

Basil & Wick's, located about 2 miles south of North Creek on Route 28, has recently reopened with a new chef who has revitalized the menu. The restaurant offers traditional American comfort fare and classic cocktails in a cozy setting with patio tables. It is situated near Gore Mountain and features live music events such as open mics, karaoke, and local performances. Despite experiencing some challenges during busy times, the restaurant strives to address issues effectively.
Fantastic experience! We drove 45 minutes from our vacation stay just to try this place out. I ordered the salmon which was cooked to perfection. My wife got the pastrami sandwich. We also tried their corn gnocchi soup, bruschetta, and both house made desserts. All were absolutely delicious!

I had high expectations, and they were certainly met! I had the Showcase Burger, which was delicious. The food came out super fast, and the servers and staff were super kind. The atmosphere is great too, with some cool decor. My compliments go to the chef. Thanks for a great meal!

After a long damp hike in the area, I stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant. Inside there was a fire going, and I had a superb dish of pork tenderloin with spinach and potatoes; it was a more generous helping than the photo shows. A hot cup of tea perked me up, and then I finished with a delightful bread pudding dessert with a wondrous array of little sweet, salty and other toppings and two sauces drizzled on…truly to die for. The bartender and the host were welcoming, fun, and attentive; it had a very nice homey and local vibe. I left satisfied and happy, a good ending note to a very good weeklong trip!

After a long day of white water rafting ( HIGHLY RECOMMEND BEAVER BROOK OUTFITTERS) , we wanted to have drinks and hearty delicious food… what a fantastic place for just that!! Our sever Dagan ( I’m sure that I just butchered his name.. sorry for that ) was AWESOME!! He was attentive, “Johnny on the spot” with keeping up with our drinks, he had a great personality and he had great recommendations. The food was DELICIOUS! I had the double stack jack.. I’ve never finished a burger out.. I housed this one! It was perfectly cooked and had the best homemade chips to side it with some pretty delicious pickles too! My daughter had the beef and Brie…holy moly, that was also delicious! My bf had the double barrel… I didn’t taste it, but he LOVED it! My daughter also had the blueberry white chocolate cheesecake.. YUMMO!!!! My mom had the wings with their house hot sauce, also a winner!! Peanut butter pie and the espresso martini were enjoyed for dessert… all EXCEPTIONAL!! The band came in and rocked the place Finger diddlers ( I think) GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY OUR 7ppl party!

Every winter my boyfriend and I take a trip to Stony Creek and we always visit Basil and Wicks. The chef is excellent. This time I had the pastrami sandwich…omg…so good. We’ve also had the filet which was excellent and the burger also a hit. Everything is delicious and the bartender knows how to make drinks!

Under new ownership since we were last here, Chef Billy has really made this place phenomenal. The service was super fast, the food came out steaming and delicious, and Chef Billy came out to personally check how we were doing and asked us about our visit to the area. The appetizer (poutine) and entree (hangar steak) were excellent, but really, the dessert was one of the best things I've eaten. The s'mores lava cake is indescribable. Make the stop on your way through, and save room for dessert.

Casual dressed customers can enjoy fine dining among the north creek rolling mountains. We sat during an early evening dining period (around 5pm on a sunday) where the music was softly playing in the background but the warm laughter of the patrons and staff invited conversations and a good time. There's no gimmick, just good food to speak for itself. For apps: The special clam stew which was lighter than expected but warmed our belly's for the entree. I shared the bowl with one other person. Entree: (the boyfriend but he let me try) the featured black forest chicken. The crusted chicken didn't feel heavily fried or thickly breaded. It paired nicely with the mushroom risotto which was firm and perfectly cooked. I don't care much for overly soft or sticky risotto. This could have easily been a heavy dish but it was rather delightful instead. I had the diver scallops which were... OMG! I let out a happy dance upon first mouth full. The scallops were light and buttery. Perfectly pan seared, your fork will do the job with no need of a knife, as it should be. I've been dying for scallops and most miss the mark (not horrible, but not what I needed) but this finally cured my craving! I'm a sucker for gnocchi so this dish is a no brainer for me and I would recommend it time and time again. Staff: Everyone was friendly. Samantha was our server and answered any questions we had. Their friendliness was genuine and service was quick. Even Chef Billy himself came to check in on us which never happens in most places. We didn't sit outside, or by the pub, but those options were there if that's what you wanted. They offered drinks but we didn't have any during this visit. Dessert was also offered and it looked amazing, I just wish I had the room in my belly. I don't normally eat dessert so I didn't save room but I surely was tempted. I'm not even a winter/cold weather person and already considered to come back during that time literally inspired by this dining experience, and the people we met in town. To sum it all up: Real genuine place, real genuine people, real genuine food. I highly recommend!

Right off the bat I’m giving a 5 Star review instead of giving a lower rating. When there is an issue I want to address it without being some kind of pretentious food critic. I went to this location on April 8th which was the day of the solar eclipse. It was a mad house and any person would understand the service wasn’t going to be the greatest because of how busy the restaurant was. My issue is how they handle a problem. We ordered our meals and a French onion soup to start out with, which we got relatively fast. Not receiving our meals for a long time after, which because of how busy it was wasn’t this issue. 2 tables that came in after us, received their main courses. When the waitress came over to our table she seemed alittle stunned. Which I believe when she put in the order for the soup, she forgot to go back and place our meals in. After she left we received our order about 5-10 minutes after that. The meals itself was pretty good. As you can see from the pictures they were tasty. My wife only ate about 3/4th of her burger. so we took the rest of hers, my daughters French fries, and 2 chicken wings that were left onto one plate. We asked for them to wrap it up by another woman who wasn’t our waitress. The waitress came back with the bill and we payed for it. I asked for our left overs and she said they threw them out. Waiting for so long we just wanted to go, but she insisted that the burger would be very quick to make a new one. So after waiting we got it back but it was only the burger. No fries or chicken wings. My issue all together is “hopefully” the manager knew we had several complaints and didn’t come out or offer anything for the inconvenience. Not that I’m expecting something for free, but to acknowledge the problem would of been enough. I always go to gore mountain for skiing and always eat at the restaurant in the lodge after a long day. I would like to come here instead because of the atmosphere. I just hope next time it’s a little better.

Izzy's Market & Deli provided a pleasant surprise for the writer, who had no prior expectations. The staff was welcoming, genuine, and friendly. They ordered the Rapid Runner and the Hudson sandwiches, both of which were extremely fresh. The egg sandwich in particular stood out as one of the best they had in a long time, being satisfying and hearty. This establishment is highly recommended for its unique and relaxed atmosphere, as well as its delicious food and beverages that perfectly capture an authentic vibe.
The rosemary salt bagel was the best bagel I’ve ever had. I’m from Utah and idk if y’all just have it like that over here but that was insane. The flavor was incredible, I could smell the rosemary before unwrapping the bagel and couldn’t wait to take a bite. The bagel itself was fresh, soft, and from one of my dreams. I would travel across the country just to have this bagel again. The ratio on the breakfast sandwich to cheese, egg, and sausage was perfect. Thank you!

We came to town for the rail bike on a Sunday and needed some lunch. Everything was closed, except Izzy’s! What we walked into was the cutest little place full of such unique charm. Loved all the antiques in the place. The woman taking our order was the kindest most helpful lady ever! We had children with us that aren’t big Sandwich or breakfast food eaters so she mentioned grilled cheese with bacon on sourdough and the kids were all over it! They both said it was the best grilled cheese they have ever had in their life and talked about it all day. I ended up with The Showcase sandwich and it’s a shame I couldn’t get a picture of just how great it looked, but it tasted 1000x better and I ate it all well before I could even think of taking a photo of it! Definitely a great spot! Wonderful food and staff! Family wants to drive the 1+ hours back just to eat here again!

Absolutely love everything about the place! It's cozy, the staff is really nice and the bagels are outrageously scrumptious! I had the salmon and cream cheese with an everything bagel and it didn't disappoint! I ended up ordering two dozen bagels for a weekend with friends and they all raved about them. Would totally recommend if you are in the area! And Chef Jake does catering too!

Loved my sandwich, an altered veggie with beets, reds, spinach, goat cheese on cibatta roll! Place was empty on Sunday 11a (maybe everyone else was skiing?) But we enjoyed our brunch. And i was happily surprised at the richness of my oatmilk latte, Very good and I'm a picky coffee drinker.

We got to enjoy Izzy’s delicious sandwiches twice on our most recent trip to the Adirondacks! They provided sandwiches for our Adirondack Adventures white water rafting trip which was the PERFECT afternoon meal as we had worked up quite an appetite from paddling so much. The tomato spread inside of the chicken wrap was superb. We loved it so much that we came to get breakfast sandwiches the next day from them!! Breakfast was absolutely delicious. I loved the kick from the banana peppers in the breakfast burrito. If you are looking for satisfying and delicious sandwiches in North Creek, look no further!!

Friendly folks serving awesome breakfast and lunch sandwiches! I dine here often, (and I'm always pleased that there are gluten-free, dairy-free options). They have a full menu of interesting sandwiches, (named after local Gore Mountain trails), or you can order your own. There are tables inside and outside. And you can browse the "shop" shelves, with a variety of foods, condiments and gifts.

COME HERE!!!!! Staff is awesome and so nice. The place has a lot of character and cute nick nacks. And the food was INCREDIBLE. I got a turkey blt on sourdough and the bacon was crispy, the turkey was fresh and I added banana peppers for some extra crunch. It was soooooo tasty. Dylan got a chicken salad sammy called the ski bum. I tried a bite and it was one of the best! The cold brew was delicious :) I couldn’t recommend this place more.

beck's TAVERN in North Creek, New York offers a convenient parking space and even a Tesla charging station. The food and drink menu are good but have room for improvement. Although they were out of Knock Wurst, the Venison Sausage was decent, while the Reuben sandwich was a standout. The bar seating provides an extensive drink menu with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, making it perfect for unwinding after a day trip or hike.
Fun local bar with a German-inspired full menu and big beer+cocktail selection. You can book lodging right across the parking lot and not have to worry about driving after an evening of apres fun.

Great for drinking. Good vibe. But the food, not so good. The schnitzel was tough and had no taste. Be best to stock with beer and wings.

Ate outdoors with live bluegrass music, and the ambiance was nice. The beet salad itself was disappointing, beets seemed canned, there were barely any nuts in the salad either. The pierogi were clearly mass produced and cooked from frozen. The pork schnitzel was very tasteless, literally tasted like nothing. Chicken was dry.

We have a cabin in North River and frequent Beck's Tavern often. As a vegan, I super appreciate their attention to dietary needs (they have a special menu to share so you know what's in your food). I love their house made veggie burger - seriously one of the best around! So many places only offer a beyond burger, so I truly appreciate the effort they put in. They have a pretty extensive menu. My hubby loves the pierogies, the kraut and the potato pancakes, and my kiddo loves the chicken tenders and fries. There have salads, schnitzel, sausages, so many options for all dietary needs. They have a great beer selection and the outside area is awesome - they often have acoustic sets on the weekends. The yurts are also really fun to just go and grab a drink. I highly recommend stopping by Beck's Tavern when in town - both in winter and summer!

Stopped for food and was pretty good. The portions are big but pricey. Small menu. It’s a german based menu which was weird because the atmosphere is more Adirondack and ski vibes so I don’t understand the german reference. The service was not too good. Both of our servers were awkward and didn’t know how to take our order or answer easy questions about beer/food. However the food came out fast. After the food we explored outside and it is such a cute neat little place. There are a couple yurts with a cozy atmosphere inside. There’s a bar, tables, TV, games, darts and more to hang out. The outside area is also so cool with live music and tons of chairs. Overall, probably wouldn’t go back for food but if you’re looking for a neat place to hang out with friends/family this is it!

Was day tripping and found this place on our drive. What a great find, the grounds were awesome. We split the Rubeck sandwich with fries. It was delicious hit the spot. Would definitely go back to try something else and play some corn hole.

So impressed with parking space and Tesla charging station. Thank you. 💙 Pretty good Food and drink menu👍 but always room for improvement 😎. Could be better or close to perfect 🤩 I ordered Knock Wurst and they said we are out! Had to order Venison Sausage, wasn’t bad, but I loved Ruben sandwich 🥪🤪. I really like the drink menu and availabilities at the bar seat, all hard and soft drinks available 🍹 🍺 , especially after day trip hike, all you need seat at the bar and order a drink and enjoy 😉. Also, we ordered House made apple pie 🥧 with ice cream & whip cream, it was pretty good and delicious 😋 Entire structure is perfect 👍 separation of entrance and exit is one of the best ideas 💡 we need during COVID Shiitt show. 😬😬 🥳🥳 we will stop by for another hike and try something else from your menu. Thanks 🙏🏻

So the next time you're in North Creek, New York, and you watch the sidewalks be rolled up at 7:00 p.m., take yourself a little trip 2 minutes away to beck's TAVERN. Absolutely great German food and superior service. We were looking for food on main Street in North Creek, and Trappers was closed for a private event, and Hey Days couldn't take our order after 7:00 p.m. even though they are open till 8:00 p.m. because they were so overwhelmed. And thank God for both. We never would have ventured any farther if it weren't for those two situations. And we are so glad we did! Thank you, becks for a really nice evening with some really nice people.

Bakery
Cafe
Cafe Sarah is a well-established spot in North Creek, located across from the North Creek Mosaic Wall. The cafe offers a variety of high-quality baked goods, coffee drinks, breakfast items, sandwiches, and salads. The owner, Sarah, is a skilled pastry chef known for her delicious maple sticky buns, macaroons, chocolate zucchini bread, BEC on homemade flaky croissants and oat scones. Visitors praise the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere of the cafe.
Wonderful cafe - outstanding pastry quality! I have a fancy for a good bakery - everywhere I go I look for one. I mostly judge them by the quality of their croissants. I must say that the best places I found so far are those either in Quebec Canada or ran by French chefs. The quality of Sarah’s cafe croissants is just as outstanding!!! They are light and flaky and melt in your mouth. We had a breakfast croissant sandwich and almond croissant - which were absolutely delicious.

What an absolute delight! We stopped in after doing the Revolution Rail trip. Excellent baked goods, coffee, and iced coffee. Service with a smile, and very reasonable prices. Front porch outside seating was the perfect compliment to a lovely afternoon in North Creek.

This place is as solid as a Cafe can get! We were immediately greeted by a cheerful and friendly person who gave recommendations and got us drinks right away. The Cafe itself is welcoming, clean and a nice atmosphere. As a vegetarian, I got the breakfast burrito without the sausage and the cook noticed and asked if I wanted them to add black beans which was a really nice touch! The food was spot on! And the pastries??? Out of this world! I couldn't make a decision because they all looked delicious! I ended up with the cinnamon twist and my partner had the maple cinnamon roll and oh my were they perfect! All this to say, we will be back tomorrow!

While on vacation, my family decided to try Cafe Sarah for breakfast. We all went with the bagel breakfast sandwich, which were all amazing. While we were waiting, we got talking to the owner (I think) about how we were visiting. She gave us some great places to check out and one was an amazing mini golf place that we went to afterwards and had a blast! I cannot recommend this place enough. Food and service are absolutely top-notch! Such a great spot!

Amazing food, drinks and baked goods. We stopped here every time before skiing Gore and recently in the summmer as well. Everyone is so friendly! Love the sausage egg and cheese croissant

Great place for pastries and baked goods. Their Christmas cookie boxes are amazing and go FAST! I highly suggest getting the breakfast burrito to go…and eat it on the chairlift.
