Great Falls Park, spanning 800 acres along the Potomac River, is a stunning natural attraction with rushing white water and picturesque falls. The park offers scenic walking trails with multiple overlooks to observe the impressive white water falls. Visitors can also explore the area's colonial history at the historic Visitors Center, which is part of the remains of the Patowmack Canal System from the late 1700s.
Great Falls Park is an absolutely stunning natural gem that’s perfect for a day trip with family or friends. Located just outside Washington, D.C., it offers breathtaking views of the Potomac River cascading through dramatic rock formations. The sight and sound of the roaring falls are both powerful and peaceful—nature at its best. The park is very well maintained with clearly marked trails for all skill levels. Whether you’re looking for a casual stroll or a more challenging hike, there’s something for everyone. The overlooks near the Visitor Center provide amazing photo opportunities and safe, accessible views of the falls. For more adventurous visitors, the Billy Goat Trail on the Maryland side offers a fun and rugged experience with closer views of the river and rocks. There are plenty of picnic spots, clean restrooms, and informative signs about the area’s history and geology. It’s a great place to unplug, enjoy nature, and learn a bit along the way. Parking can fill up quickly on weekends, so arriving early is a good idea. Overall, Great Falls Park is a peaceful, scenic, and energizing escape from the city. Highly recommended for hikers, photographers, and anyone who enjoys the great outdoors!

Such a beautiful park! I didn't know it was managed by the National Park Service. There is a $20.00 fee per vehicle to get in. It was well worth it! There is a visitor center, and a concession stand underneath it that sells ice cream and other treats. Lots of trails for walking. There is even areas for rock climbing, if you have the gear.
Vance B — Google review
Beautiful park with stunning views of the falls! It’s a perfect spot for a short hike, photography, or just relaxing by the river. The trails are well-marked and easy to follow, and there are multiple overlooks to see the rushing water up close. Parking can get crowded on weekends, so it’s best to go early. Definitely worth the small entrance fee for such a peaceful and scenic escape so close to the city.
Akhil M — Google review
My 1St Time here. Upon arriving there is a parking fee per car. $20.00. Lots of parking and easy access to the visitor center the bathrooms and the various trails. However, I heard there are other areas where there is free parking. There are various trails you can take. The most scenic ones are by the Potomac River. There are 3x observation points. They are all great for views of the rapids. I would say the most challenging trail is the “River Trail” it has lots of treacherous rocky areas to overcome n climb. Follow the “blue “ painted markers on the trees to stay on track . This trail is obviously next to the river. If you want to get really close to the river there are various areas where u can climb down. They all require some effort of delegating the rocky areas. Go slow . I use a hiking poles as leverage. It helps. The easiest trail to walk or run on is the “Old Carriage Road”. The trail is quite long. I only accomplished 6.28M overall. About 3 hours. Which includes the stopping time for picture taking and resting to eat some fruit. The small restaurant offers burgers, pizza, hot dogs, ice cream and the largest warm salted pretzel I ever ate. Sorry I didn’t take the pic. It was good though. Enjoy the trail and the sites.

Visited Great Falls National Park after several days of heavy rain and flooding — the river was powerful and dramatic! 🌊 Some trees were down, and parts of the River Trail were blocked, so hike with caution. Still a beautiful day out, with lots of families enjoying the park, barbecuing, and making use of the grills and picnic benches. Great energy all around — just wear sturdy shoes and stay safe on the trails! 🥾🌲🔥

Had a wonderful experience there with my father it was very family friendly. The trails are are very clean also easily accessible from the parking lot. Mainly saw the first three overlooks and such and some of the trail requires some small level of rock climbing but nothing dangerous otherwise the walk around there has amazing veiws!! Paid $20 too get in i believe but was quite worth the money once you see the veiws!

Great Falls Park is a beautiful spot to enjoy nature and outdoor activities. The park features three scenic viewing platforms that offer stunning views of the Potomac River’s rushing cascades. Whether you're up for a hike or a walk, the trails have options for all skill levels. Admission is $20 per vehicle or $10 per person, but if you plan to visit often, the annual pass for $35 is a great deal. There's also the America the Beautiful Pass for $80, which grants access to multiple national parks and federal recreation sites. Overall, it’s a great place to spend a day outdoors, whether you're looking for adventure or just a peaceful escape.
Natalie H — Google review
Beautiful park especially if you get there early enough. Plenty of parking. Annual pass was better than one day pass. It is cheaper. We hiked a good amount of miles maybe around 4 miles. It was amazing the views were great many overlook but we came for the trail which was great it varies from the incline and regular paths. So be prepared if you want to hike it.

Great Falls is a stunning stretch of powerful rapids and waterfalls located on the Potomac River, offering breathtaking views and hiking trails nearby. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views from three different viewing platforms after paying a small entrance fee. The area also features the moderately challenging 3-mile Difficult Run hike, which takes hikers through a less-visited section of Great Falls Park. This makes it an ideal destination for adventurers of all levels.
$20 at the gate but so worth it! Absolutely stunning views, with easy to walk, mostly shaded path. Could only take my dog on certain trails, because there are endangered animals within certain areas. Please be respectful of these precious eco systems!! Wonderful day!

Great spot for a refreshing weekend near the DMV. On weekends, try to go early—police sometimes close the enterance, which is about 1.5 miles from the park. If it’s closed, you can park at the small lot just before the Great Falls signal, called ‘Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail.’ There’s an easy hiking trail across the road that takes you to Great Falls in about 35 minutes.

One of my favorite places ethier VA side or MD side both have really nice cook out areas in the shade with picnic tables. All u need is your charcoal your food and cooler.

Go after several heavy rain showers and enjoy a higher water level and splashing falls! The picture is during late, dry summer and lower water level.

A beautiful place for a good walk, rock climbing and bird watching. A place to decompress and and connect with the natural world.

Lovely hike with stunning views. Not the hidden gem it was in years gone by. Very crowded but most folks just rush right through the trail. Many illiterate people testing they're intelligence by ignoring the barriers and warning signs. Glad I didn't witness any mishaps.

Crisp air invigorated the senses as vibrant leaves danced on the gentle breeze. The cascading waterfall provided a soothing soundtrack to the breathtaking panorama. Nature's artistry painted the landscape with warm hues of gold and crimson. A gentle mist rising from the waterfall added a touch of magic to the scene. It was a truly memorable autumn day.

Old Anglers Inn is a renowned dining establishment in Potomac, MD, offering modern American cuisine and a charming terrace and beer garden. Since its opening in 1960, it has been a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. Voted as the top restaurant in the area multiple times, it offers a diverse menu featuring dishes like Pan Seared Scallops, Oai Crab Cake, Cacio E Pepe, and Grilled New York Strip.
A Hidden Gem with Incredible Food and Atmosphere! Old Anglers Inn is an absolute treasure! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the charming and outdoorsy ambiance—beautiful landscaping, colorful flowers everywhere, and even peaceful waterfalls that make the whole experience feel like a retreat. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, and even spaces available to rent for special events. The food? Simply amazing. I had the Reuben sandwich, and I can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever had—perfectly toasted, flavorful, and unforgettable. For dessert, don’t skip the tiramisu—it’s heavenly! What made the visit even more memorable was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, warm, and welcoming. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was just as kind and hospitable as the rest of the team. Whether you're stopping by for a casual lunch or planning a private event, Old Anglers Inn is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!

My friends and I enjoyed lovely dinner here. Although it was a very warm evening, we were seated under umbrellas that provided good shade and cool air. The seating on the patio allowed us to enjoy the outdoors and added for a beautiful atmosphere for dinner. The food was delicious. I particularly loved the steak they offered. My friends enjoyed the beverages as well. Parking was not an issue. And the servers were fantastic.

Stopped in after a tow path hike on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. You have to have reservations or there is a long wait. Parking is very tight. The outdoor seating is great. Food is okay, you kinda go for the atmosphere. I will be going back because the hike is nice and this is the closest restaurant to the tow path.

We didn’t get to try the restaurant but will come back for the Lamb racks for sure. We got there early so we went to the Beer Garden and get some finger food and beers. Their draft beer were SO good and local craft! And they have different bands played live music every weekend. And they have plenty of outdoor sittings! Absolutely beautiful.

Reviewing the beer garden only, which was excellent. Great vibe. Great burger. And I really enjoyed the live music. The perfect mid afternoon post hike lunch.
Philippa H — Google review
Old Angler’s Inn is a whole vibe. The second you step onto the patio, you can feel the charm—stone-paved, fire pit glowing, fountain trickling in the background. It’s got that old-school, historic feel, but what really sets it apart is the music. Instead of the usual stuffy fine-dining soundtrack, they play classic R&B—Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Stevie Wonder. It gives the place a warmth that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. The service was solid from the jump. Attentive but not overbearing, friendly but professional. Even with a packed house, the staff kept things moving without making it feel rushed. And one of the biggest pluses? They’re pet-friendly. I had my service dog with me, and they welcomed him without hesitation. That’s a small thing, but not every place gets it right. Now, the food. I got the steak frites, and my wife had the Wagyu burger. My steak was good—cooked a little more than I asked for but still juicy, with a nice herb butter on top that added a little richness. The fries? Eh. They were crispy, but they needed more seasoning. Just a little extra salt or some kind of house blend would’ve taken them to the next level. The Wagyu burger, though? That was the move. Juicy, full of flavor, on a soft brioche bun that pulled it all together. The cheese melted just right, the caramelized onions gave it a little sweetness, and the whole thing just worked. It came with fries and a pickle—nothing fancy, but simple and solid. If I could go back and reorder, I’d get the burger for myself. Drinks were good. I had a Cabernet Sauvignon that paired well with the steak, and my wife had one of their cocktails—strong, smooth, and well-balanced. For dessert, we split the chocolate lava cake, and it delivered. Rich, gooey center, not too sweet, and the vanilla bean ice cream on the side was the perfect touch. Overall, Old Angler’s Inn is worth a visit. The setting is beautiful, the music gives it personality, and the service is warm and professional. The food was mostly on point, with just a few small misses, but nothing that would stop me from going back. If you’re looking for a good meal in a relaxed but elegant atmosphere, it’s a great spot. And if you’re debating what to order, go for the burger.
Randon R — Google review
Not our first time there by any means. We have gone there intermittently since the 1990s, but this week we decided this was the last time, as the food quality deteriorated (it is now "acceptable" at best) and the prices have been raised so much that eating there no longer provides any value, even when taking into account the nice setting. Unless they do something drastic about the food quality and prices, I predict this place will go down soon.
Hamid I — Google review
We came here for Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful experience. The food was phenomenal, and we enjoyed every bite. The rack of lamb and the duck are not to be missed. Don’t skip dessert either!! We loved the chocolate mousse cake as well as the blueberry cheesecake. The prices do run a bit high, but the quality made it worth it.

Olmsted Island, located in Potomac, Maryland, is a small island in the middle of the Potomac River near Great Falls. It features a tourist walkway with an overlook platform offering spectacular views of waterfalls and canyons. The island is home to rare and endangered plant species as well as various wildlife including herons, wild geese, and lizards.
There is a lot of eye opening views to admire.

(Translated by Google) Very good waterfalls, canyons and river views, but unfortunately it is forbidden to play in the water (there are some kayaking in the river, which looks very exciting). The Trail is also very unique. Children and people with weak physical strength should not choose to take the Trail along the river. The rocks are steep. The risk factor is very high. The Great Falls Tavern Visitor Center serves as the perfect starting point for your adventure into nature's splendor. Here, you can grab trail maps and learn about the park's rich history while also making reservations for boat tours. As you set off on your journey, don’t miss Olmsted Island, where the Potomac River showcases its raw power with breathtaking cascades that plunge 76 feet over rugged rocks. The sound of rushing water is truly awe-inspiring!
Great overlook to the Great Falls. It is a reasonable small hike from the Tavern. In summer, there is canal boat tour, the boat is pulled by mules. What I liked most is the Billy goat trail. It is a rather difficult trail which runs on the boulder along the Potomac River Gorge, plus a small section of rock scramble, but the view is marvelous especially in the fall.

Great place and hidden gem! Getting yearly passes off season was a hardship, but worth it. The staff on the Md side were much, much better than the Va side. The Md side has the amazing trails and views going across the wooden trail to the island overlook. On the Va side, the overlooks are good views, but rocky and annoying. Plus the Va staff were extremely rude. What a beautiful place all around, though, with waterfalls, rapids, bike trails, canal and overlooks.

The view is worth the hike! Be aware that many pet owners do not clean up after their dogs even though there are bags available to use. $20 entry fee. 🧾 Definitely bring water to stay hydrated. I enjoyed the sounds of nature. 🏞️

Great Falls Park is one of my favorite places to visit! It’s close to DC, easy to get to, and offers a variety of scenery and trails that everyone can enjoy. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing walk, a scenic overlook, or more adventurous hiking, this park has it all. A must-visit spot for both locals and visitors. For military members and veterans, don’t forget to bring your ID for a free annual pass, it’s a great benefit!

The Great Falls Tavern Visitor Center is a major historical and recreational hub located within the Chesapeake & Ohio (C&O) Canal National Historical Park on the Maryland side of the Potomac River. Here is a detailed breakdown of its history, location, and what you can do there: 1. Location and Historical Significance Location: The Visitor Center is situated at 11710 MacArthur Blvd, Potomac, MD 20854, specifically at Lock 20 (mile 14.3) along the C&O Canal towpath. The Tavern Building: The center is housed in the Historic Great Falls Tavern (also known historically as the Crommelin House), which was built around 1828. Original Use: It was initially constructed as a lockkeeper's house and was quickly expanded into an inn, or tavern, by 1831. It served canal boatmen, local residents, and tourists traveling from Washington, D.C. Later Use: It continued to operate as a hotel, tavern, and popular social gathering spot until 1938 when it was purchased by the National Park Service (NPS). 2. Visitor Center Experience and Amenities The Tavern today functions as a fully operational National Park Service Visitor Center, offering: Exhibits: The center features interactive and static exhibits detailing the history of the C&O Canal, its construction, the system of locks, and the role of the mules that pulled the boats. Information Desk: Rangers and volunteers are available to provide park information, trail maps, and guidance for exploring the area. Discovery Space: The center often includes a dedicated space for children with hands-on activities that rotate monthly. Gift Shop: A small book and souvenir store is available. Hours: The Visitor Center is typically open year-round, Wednesday through Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but it's always best to check the official National Park Service website for the most current schedule and alerts. Fees: There is an entrance fee charged per vehicle (or for pedestrians/cyclists) to access the Great Falls area of the park. 3. Things to Do in the Surrounding Area The Great Falls Tavern is the gateway to some of the most spectacular scenery and popular activities in the Washington D.C. area: Great Falls Overlook: A short walk from the Tavern leads to scenic overlooks of the Great Falls of the Potomac River, where the water dramatically cascades over rugged rocks into the Mather Gorge. The interpretive boardwalk loop onto Olmsted Island offers splendid views. Hiking and Biking: C&O Canal Towpath: The flat, 184.5-mile towpath runs right past the Tavern and is perfect for walking, jogging, or cycling. Billy Goat Trail: The famous and challenging Billy Goat Trail (Sections A, B, and C), offering views and rock scrambles, is accessible from this section of the park (note: pets are generally not permitted on the Olmsted Island trail or Billy Goat Trail A). River Trail: Other scenic hiking trails are also available. Mule-Drawn Canal Boat Rides: A major attraction (though sometimes defunct or cancelled due to water levels or season) is the opportunity to ride the replica canal boat, the Charles F. Mercer, to experience how cargo and excursion boats navigated Lock 20.

Glenstone is a privately owned contemporary art museum located in Potomac, Maryland, just 15 miles from downtown Washington, D.C. The museum features a collection of around 1,300 post-World War II works by established artists from across the globe. It offers a unique experience with its modern gallery and expansive sculpture garden set amidst stunning natural landscapes. Cannot describe how magical this place is. The grounds are extremely well maintained. With pathways guiding you easily through the exhibits. Every turn leads you into a unique little world. Throughout the property, there are strategically placed guides waiting with helpful information. Not to mention there are water stations seeming everywhere. This is a perfect destination to get a little exercise and be immersed in beautiful architecture, art, nature.

This is an amazing place to visit. Went for our first time ever and was pleasantly surprised by what we saw. Unlike most museums you have to work to see all the treasures this one holds. A few of the exhibits were closed due to heat but it was fine. We spent over 2 hours looking and learning. We will definitely be back and going in October. There are rules. Don’t ruin the experience for others by breaking them. We left exhibits due to people taking photos which was expressly told to us not to do in the indoor spaces. Speak to the guides. They’re friendly and knowledgeable about everything especially the art pieces. Ask which direction is preferred when viewing an installation. Going in backward will not ruin the experience but going in the beginning will explain it. I will recommend this to everyone. I wish Caroline had been more attentive to questions but she was in her phone the entire time we viewed the art in her area. *also those of you who posted pictures in areas where you were told not to take pictures(inside buildings) should be ashamed of yourselves.*

Outstanding integration of sculpture, nature and modern art. No photography is allowed inside the buildings. Outside paths are well marked, and options to avoid steep inclines are pointed out. Tickets are free but difficult to obtain, staff told me to check often for late cancellations. Staff are plentiful and helpful. The weather was gorgeous on my visit. There is a cafe but Ididn't get food. Several water stations exist with disposable paper cups and in-ground trash. No outside food or drink is permitted. Worth seeing! Spent about 3 hours here.

First time visitor for both us and our out of town guests and we all loved the experience! We went on Halloween afternoon at 1p. Parking was easy as we were greeted pleasantly on our way in and directed to the best parking. When we got to the arrival hall we were quickly oriented by Katie who helped us understand the layout of Glenstone and where we could learn about special tours and info. She also recommended specific rooms we may enjoy visiting. In the Pavilion we especially appreciated Malcolm, one of the guides, as he helped us understand the bronze sculptures and the artist, Simone Leigh. The exhibits were diverse and interesting, thought provoking and powerful. The layout of the building, as we learned, was intentional with a beautiful center water court to help a visitor ‘reset’ between exhibit halls. Wandering the grounds between outside installations was beautiful. The Andy Goldsworthy Clay Houses were extraordinary and the Jeff Koons Split-Rocker was such a highlight. The whole experience was like art exhibit meets cultural exploration over eras meets outdoor field trip. It was magnificent and we look forward to returning in other seasons!

The only unenjoyable part of visiting the Glenstone is securing tickets. They release on the 1st of the month at 10 am, and they go quick. We were lucky enough to visit this weekend, and it was an incredible experience. Many of the pieces make you think about the world we live in. The grounds are just beautiful. Make the effort and get the tickets. You will not regret it. I loved interacting with the staff as they were all very kind and knowledgeable.

There’s so much to see, yet the environment feels peaceful and unhurried — ideal for a relaxing walk surrounded by beautiful landscapes and thought-provoking installations. I’m completely in love with this museum. The exhibits are always amazing, and the staff is super friendly and knows their stuff. Great spot to go solo or with friends, and the trails around the property make it even better. Wear comfy shoes—there’s a lot to explore—and the courtesy umbrellas on sunny days are a nice touch. You do need to get tickets in advance, but they make that very clear (so if you miss it, that’s on you). I’ve gone on weekdays and weekends at different times and always found parking. They even have a shuttle from the lots. Haven’t tried the café yet, but definitely planning to next time!

This Thai restaurant was so good. The food came out so quickly, and everything we ordered had different flavor. Our waitress was really sweet, and able to recommend dishes to try.

We drove an hour just to come here, and we would do it again. Great food at an affordable price, and the owners provide exceptional service. The tom kha soup, spring rolls, and fried taro are must tries.

The food, the service, the atmosphere - could not recommend enough!!! I had pad eggplant with beef - superb!! Dessert - mango with sticky rice and ice cream, and chocolate truffle - to die for!! This place is amazing - keep up the good work!

Lovely new Thai restaurant run by a family. What a pleasure to have this restaurant open in the area that’s severely lacking any decent restaurants. However, what’s going to keep this place open is the food is actually delicious and not overpriced. We had the fried tofu and papaya salad for appetizer and then yellow curry and pad Thai for entree. Every dish was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of zest or spice. The service was friendly and warm, living up to the legendary Thai hospitality. Highly recommended and definitely will be a regular.

Food was generous and reasonably priced. I loved that the veggies were fresh and not overcooked, and the meats were also not overly marinated or overcooked. Flavor was on point, not overly salty, sweet or oily. My family ordered the beef noodle soup, panang curry, basil fried rice, crispy pork belly with basil and veg, and drunken noodle. Enjoyed it. Ambience is pleasant, quiet and good for families. Restaurant is tucked away in the Potomac Oak Center, but any commuters on that road Travilah/Glen Rd would see the mall strip mall and the restaurant. I will be ordering often for family dinner take out on my way home from work.

Fast food restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delicious burger experience, look no further than Five Guys. This fast-food gem specializes in made-to-order burgers, crispy fries, and hot dogs, all served with the added bonus of free peanuts while you wait. Located conveniently in the Potomac shopping area, this cozy spot features outdoor seating and is known for its friendly staff who are always ready to assist with your order. During peak meal times, you can expect quick service—often receiving your food within five minutes!
This place is the best Five Guys I've ever been in. Iris and all other staff are always nice and kind to their customers. I've got great moods and energy every time, whether I dined in or picked up. They are not only serving delicious foods, but they are also serving happy energy to customers. Can't wait for the next visit.

Saturday 11/22/24 update: raw fries again. I'm done giving them chances. No more five guys for this house. It's a shame. Thursday night I would've given them a 5 star for food, today (Saturday at lunch time), I'd give them a zero. Both times ordered through GrubHub. Today the fries are nearly raw, they're so under cooked and the burger is just meh.
Jennifer G — Google review
the burgers and shakes are a bit on the expensive side but are definitely tasty and hit the spot.

This place is literally the cleanest restaurant i have ever seen. I’m not even sure how they get it so sparkling clean. Very friendly service as well. It’s obvious that a lot of care is put into this place!
Kate B — Google review
This is a decent location for Five Guys - conveniently located in Potomac shopping area. The restaurant is cozy and does have a few tables near the entrance for outdoor seating. The location is also busy during meal times and are open until 10 PM on most days. The staff is friendly too and helps you with the order if needed. Service is quick too and we have been able to get the food within 5 minutes. They do give you a hard time on getting more napkins for some reason! The food is good - like other Five Guys. There is also a sack of peanuts waiting by the ordering counter that guests can dig in to while waiting for the food to arrive. It's always fun to crack open peanut shells and make a mess when you do not have to do the cleanup later! Our go to items are of course the burger (with cheese, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms), hot dog, and fries - gotta have them while they are hot! The sauce on the burger is good too. Reminds me of In-and-Out burgers! And two patties in the burger are better than one :) A nice place for greasy fast food when in the mood. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, specially during the weekends.

Still love this place. The staff is great. It's always clean and the food is prepared very well, even amongst other franchises. The biggest thing I've noticed since having not been by here for a while is the revised fancy coke machines. More touchscreens and probably more flavors. Updating after a recent visit. Lots of the same friendly faces. A talented cashier running two register simultaneously. Quick, prompt, fresh food and great service. Always recommend this location!. Easy accessible parking.

This has become my go-to Five Guys in the area. It's usually not too busy, it's very clean, and the workers are always nice. Five Guys burgers always hit the spot. I am usually get my burger done All the Way. Delicious. I had a milkshake here recently too and they are underrated!

Can't go wrong with a quality burger. If you like five guys, this location does a great job like the others. Food usually comes out quickly. Seating is fairly limited, but it's never crowded and there are some outdoor seats. Not certain if every location is doing shakes at this point, but this location has shakes as well.

Italian restaurant
Restaurant
Renato’s at River Falls is a charming Italian eatery nestled in Potomac Village, known for its authentic cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. This neighborhood gem prides itself on serving fresh fish sourced from the owner's market next door, ensuring quality and flavor in every dish. The restaurant stands out within Potomac's diverse culinary scene, where each establishment offers a unique taste of local culture.
My friend grew-up in Potomac, so we spent a full day wandering about her old neighborhood reminiscing. That night, for dinner, we dined at Renato, which was sublime. From the wine to the calamari to the pasta to the service, it was such an air of elevated, elegant comfort. There was an easy warmth that wrapped us up and returned us to a nostalgic time, that somehow felt dreamlike.
Tiffany C — Google review
Average food with above average prices and good service. The house sauce is tasty, but the pasta isnt freshly made in house. The lobster ravioli comes in a house tomato sauce instead of the lobster cream sauce and is marked as market price though the ravioli looks like the same one costco sells, it's definitely not made in house or worth getting especially for the price. The desserts were good, the cheesecake and the pan with ice cream and chocolate sauce on top was very tasty and large. Most of the staff speak Spanish and it looks like they have returning customers, it's a family restaurant and people seem to really enjoy it.
Leslie M — Google review
The service and pizza here was the quality of a money laundering front. Best part was that I could eat outside and not have to sit in the restaurant which smelled like a fish market. My pizza consisted of bland bread with pasta red sauce and a chunk of cheese. The waiter was nice though!
Karis N — Google review
Delightful lunch. Service was good and attentive. Place looks small, but that is deceiving. Calamari starter was light and delicious. Pasta Bolognese and Eggplant Parmesan was hot, fresh, and yummy. This will make it into our restaurant rotation.

My husband has been wanting to take me here and I’m glad we went! It was excellent! Probably one of the best Italian places in Montgomery County! They are pricey, but worth it!
Kathryn G — Google review
The food here is great, I’ve been going here for a few years now and whenever I take my friends/family here they love it!! The service is the best here, they always treat me and my friends/family like with care and respect. However, there was an incident that happened a few weeks ago with another table while I was there and they were very disrespectful to the staff, they were way over dramatic and the staff did all they could to be kind and respectful to the mean people. At the end of the day this is a great place to dine at, 10/10 recommend!!!

Incredible food and even better service. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.
Molly H — Google review
Best dining experience in at least two years. Service was phenomenal. Food was excellent. The two waiters worked together and were spot on with timing and service without all the extra unnecessary check-ins. Whenever we needed something, they were there. Whenever we didn't need something, they weren't there. This is a difficult skill to master. The food was also great, but I have to give special kudos to the service because it seems to be more rare.

Westfield Montgomery Mall is a solid spot for both shopping and a bite. I absolutely love the Macy’s. It’s well stocked, stylish, and always a joy to browse. The food court hits the mark with diverse options and great convenience, perfect for recharging between stores. My only wish is that the AMC theatre received a bit more TLC. A refresh would really elevate the experience. Still, overall, a local favorite worth the visit!

Had a great morning here! Kids played in the playground and then we rode the train. Plenty of shade which is nice just make sure to wear bug spray! Did not go into the restrooms but they are available if needed. Love the huge dog park that is also shaded to keep dogs cool. I recommend getting train tickets early as it gets busy on the weekends! The train tickets as of this post are $3.50 per person. 2 and under free!

This is an excellent choice to go with children and pets. The dog park is big and pleasant. The ride on the miniature train is fantastic, surrounded by a beautiful forest. The playground is huge, with a variety of games adapted for different ages. It also has a clean and spacious picnic area.

They do i-spy for Halloween and other special holidays too!

My husband surprised us on family day today with a trip to this park. What a pleasant surprise! Our grade school and preschool children both had so much fun. It had many different playground structures so kids weren't on top of each other. As we were studying the map we found out that there are walking trails, tennis, camping and so much more! We will definitely visit again as the weather warms up. The only negative things I can say are about the bathrooms and water fountains. The fountains weren't on but they may not turn them on until warmer weather appears steadily. The bathrooms were very dirty as well. At least they had toilet paper but they need a good disinfecting. Overall we liked this place!

Our first time trying the place and it was good overall. I tried the Tuna sandwich, and it was okay. The pastrami sandwich was awesome. We ordered the potato pancake and it was good. Overall, it was a chilled out place for sandwiches. The service and ambiance were good as well.
Manisha S — Google review
Nothing special, honeslty. Every time I order from here, I am disappointed. I ordered the Vassos and added cheese and hot peppers - it came out to a little over $20 (no chips or fries included!!) A little pricey for chicken that isn’t properly seasoned and has no sides. The only thing giving it full flavor is the mayo and hot peppers. I’ve had the breakfast there as well and felt underwhelmed considering it was on the expensive side. I will say that have fantastic chicken soup, but for the price of the sandwiches and breakfast, the food should definitely taste better and be more filling. I don’t think the breakfast sandwich even came with a side, like most places, which is also odd. I know the economy is rough right now but for the price, they could do more and make better tasting sandwiches.

Decided to make a random stop off the freeway and what a wonderful sandwich shop!! We ordered The corn, beef, pastrami, and Swiss omelette and the turkey and Havarti sandwich. Both were excellent… The English muffins appeared to be homemade everything was fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend!

I paid a lot of money for a Rueben Sandwich. It was over $20.00 and I left a tip. I took it to go and left. When I took my first bite it tasted great. However, all the other bites were inedible because the Corned beef was fatty and had gristle. I was so mad because I was on a lunch break after work and I live over an hour away. I think it is extremely disappointing to go to a “Deli” and get a crappy sandwich for that kind of money. I would have returned the barely eaten sandwich if I didn’t live so far away.

The overall store was not very good. Everything was functional and well stocked, but the floors were disgusting. The ice cream itself was really good, really liked the Jamoca and the Chocolate Mousse Royale. However, the staff seemed impatient and cold, with the vibe being “get your ice cream and leave” sorta thing. But at least they didn’t express it in bad ways, so shoutout to them ig. So basically, if you’re gonna do takeout, this is a wonderful place, but if not, I’d go to the scoop, brusters, or coldstone.

Shake Shack Westfield Montgomery Mall is a trendy fast-food chain known for its gourmet twist on classic dishes like burgers and frozen custard. Visitors rave about the Carolina burger with fried pickles and Carolina BBQ fries, as well as the delicious cheese fries. It's a great spot to indulge in some mouthwatering fast food favorites.
This Shake Shack is delicious and meets the standard they have set. By far the best cheeseburger in the fast food game, it is always such a treat to get one. I highly recommend getting their double cheeseburger with pickles and onions. The Martin's roll is the icing on the cake, as it provides the perfect taste to complement their patties. Prices are elevated, but it is so worth it. Hard to pass up eatting here anytime we are near one. We tried the chicken from here as well and it was super juicy. It was slightly lacking in seasonings and flavor, but the breading was great

This is my first time at Shake Shack as I’ve always wanted to try their food. Their food reminds me of 5 Guys, but with a twist of Hardee’s. I ordered the Avocado Bacon Burger and it was delicious! The burger did not have a lot of juice, but it was above average! Their chicken nuggets have a different taste however, they were kind of salty. As for the honey mustard it’s spot on to Hardee’s! We ordered 2 burgers and 2 shakes, total was $36.53! We didn't even order fries! Good lord it's expensive. The burgers were decent and the shakes were good, but small for those prices. The cashier suggested a couple of promo codes, but they were both expired. Shakes and burgers are good, but on the smaller side. Are their prices justified? Not really.

Shake was legit delicious. Burgers were ok at best, the tea drinks lacked flavor, and the fries were reheated Costco fries and gross. Over $50 to feed a family of three given the mid to low quality is not something I’m going to do again.

Fire the manager. Eat anywhere else. I ordered food here because my wife is pregnant and her doctor said she needed more protein. We ordered deliver through DoorDash (also do not recommend). The food arrived but it was missing her burger so I drove there and asked the manager and he didn’t care at all and didn’t even offer to make a sandwich after I explained it was for my pregnant wife and i showed him the $75 order (door dash fees included). Awful people. Eat anywhere else.

I ordered at the kiosk which asks for your phone number in order to text you when the order is ready. I dislike giving out my phone number but I obliged thinking it would be faster, but even after 25 minutes I received nothing. When I went up to the cashiers my food was just sitting on a rack. I ordered 2 burgers 1 drink and 1 regular fries which came out to almost 30 dollars. Burger was soggy and the fries were cold, I should’ve gone to chic fil a.

This place is more than just a restaurant to me, it's an experience! The team creates a welcoming and positive atmosphere. The service is impeccable. I am a regular customer here. They are friendly and attentive staff, and a welcoming team handling requests with a smile. I forget all my tiredness from my day work when I see their beautiful smiles. The food is made and served fresh. I have dietary needs and cava food has always met my requirements.

Last week was my second visit to Cava in the Montgomery Mall. As with the first time, the wait in line was quick, the item choices and quality were good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The manager, Yury, even came over to ensure everything was right and that the experience was positive.

4 stars for 4 reasons 1. The chicken bowl was good. Chicken was flavorful and nicely done. Mixed everything up and it’s pretty good! A lot going on but it’s good. 2. The amount of toppings you can put is a lot! Abundant and nice variety. 3. The price was about less than 15 dollars a bowl. Good considering the area. 4. Nice workers and quick service! Minus 1 star because they didn’t have water cup so we were forced to buy a drink cup.

There were no more cinnamon pitas to try since it was getting closer to closing time, so we were just gonna leave. BUT the team instead told us that if we were willing to wait, then they’d make us a fresh batch. They insisted since they saw we were excited to try them and they didn’t look anything else but glad to do it. It may have been a small gesture, but definitely made our night!

Such a great experience at CAVA! You can tell when people love what they do — Cristel, Carlos, and Fanny were amazing, super helpful, and full of positive energy. The food was fresh and tasty as always 🌯💛

Gabriela provided outstanding customer service during my visit—she was friendly, attentive, and had such a positive attitude that made the entire experience enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure my order was accurate and handled quickly, all while greeting me with genuine warmth. It’s rare to come across someone with such a natural gift for customer care, and Gabriela truly made a simple takeout experience feel special.

Family restaurant
Normandie Farm Restaurant offers a locally focused French-American menu in a classically decorated dining room with a cozy fireplace. The dishes are described as country French, with options like gazpacho, wedge and endive salads, and veal Oscar. The restaurant has friendly staff and provides table service to the patio. Some reviewers note that the salads were solid but could use more dressing, while others praise the lobster tail and ahi tuna on their salads.
A very nice setting French style seafood restaurant. It is a plain-looking house off Falls Road. The inside looks elegant and classic. The waiters who served us is well-trained and humorous. He recommended Maryland Blue Crab Soup, which is today’s chef special. It tastes really good! Big lumps of crab meat at the bottom of soup. Crab cake is very tasty but not salty, just like what I expected. However, the fries is even better! I even think the fries is the highlight of this entree. The other two entrees my friends ordered, roasted sea scallops and seared filet of salmon, my friends said both of them are 4.5 out 5. Highly recommended. Very good experience!

Old school French place. Salads for lunch were all solid, although were served with a very small side cup of relatively simple, not complex, but reasonably tasty dressings. If the salads were tossed or just a bit more spiced they would be top notch. The lobster tail on the salad was prepared above average, as was the ahi tuna. Salad toppings were all great. The popovers were absolutely fantastic! Service was pretty good “old school” style.

Loved it! The traditional French decor with fireplace( we were fortunate enough to be seated right next to it) and wonderful service made us feel as if we had traveled to France. The authentic popovers are AMAZING!!!! So flaky inside! There was no way to eat it gracefully and not make a big mess.😊 We chose the house smoked salmon as our hors d'oeuvre as that is not offered on too many menus. Will definitely do so again. The beef wellington was lovely, tender, and delicious!! As was the bouillabaise-another item found on few menus. Hearty and delicious with a generous amount of seafood- a couple of jumbo shrimp, half dozen mussels, 2 large clams, nice chunks of fish and tasty broth. Dessert didn't disappoint either. Pumpkin cheesecake with caramel glaze and lots of walnuts. YUMMY! Recommend to get it while in season. Will most definitely return again- hope to do so in December to experience the holiday menu.

The food is wonderful, a wide variety of French cuisine. I loved the onion soup, and the lobster bisque. The service is very good. The decor is a little bit outdated for my taste. You feel definitely if you were on a French cabin.

Decided a treat was in order due to a special occasion. I was in Potomac and decided to try this french restaurant that had caught my eye a few times in passing by. Old but quaint and cozy. Wholesome food and quite a pleasant dining experience. Plan to try out more dishes on another special occasion.

What a hidden gem! The locals know about this place. The service is white table. It has a fire place roaring. Desperate dinning areas even a piano room. The food selection is exquisite, I had the duck. Tender and not too fatty. Lots juicy flavor. The 100 year old Grand Mariner is smooth. For wine I recommend Santa Margherita Pino G. It's $$. The servers are extremely patient, helpful and very formal, also friendly. I will go back for other dishes.

Normandie Farm is closing forever in 4 days so this review is for posterity. Dishes are as country french as it gets. Gazpacho had a hint of spice but was a little oily. Wedge and endive salads were great, if lightly dressed. Veal Oscar was very good but between crab imperial and mashed potatoes, it's a heavy dish. Friendly staff. Table service to the patio was pretty good. Quick to take orders and deliver food, a little slower at the end of the meal.

I've come here for a number of holiday luncheons over the year. The onion soup and popovers are my fav. I had the short rib which was tender but need seasoning.

American restaurant
MoCo's Founding Farmers, located in Potomac, MD, is an upscale-casual restaurant offering farm-to-table American cuisine. The Montgomery County location has received high acclaim and won several awards for its brunch, bar, and overall dining experience. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create all of their dishes and drinks from scratch.
If you're looking for a restaurant that blends comfort food with a conscience, Founding Farmers delivers a deliciously satisfying experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, rustic-chic ambiance that perfectly sets the tone for their farm-to-table concept. The menu is a refreshing mix of classic American dishes, all made from scratch using sustainable ingredients sourced from family farms. I started with the cornbread skillet—moist, buttery, and served with a side of sweet honey butter that took it over the top. For my main course, the Chicken and Waffles were a standout: the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the waffles were light, fluffy, and paired with a peppery gravy that balanced sweet and savory beautifully. Drinks are another highlight—whether you’re into craft cocktails or house-made sodas, there’s something creative for everyone. The Cucumber Delight cocktail was crisp and refreshing, perfect for springtime sipping. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell the staff really believes in the restaurant’s mission of sustainability and quality. Whether you're there for brunch, lunch, or dinner, Founding Farmers offers comfort food with a purpose. It’s an ideal spot for anyone who appreciates thoughtfully prepared meals and a commitment to doing good—one bite at a time.

I had such an amazing experience here! From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and relaxed. One of the things that really stood out to me was that this is a true scratch kitchen—everything is made fresh from start to finish, and you can absolutely taste the difference. The flavors were incredible, and the quality of the ingredients really shined through in every bite. I ordered the steak and it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. Easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time! You can tell the chefs take pride in what they serve. But what really made the experience even better was the service. Our waiter, Matthew, was phenomenal. He was super cool, friendly, and made us feel right at home. He checked in just the right amount, gave great recommendations, and had such a positive and upbeat attitude the entire time. It’s rare to find service that feels this genuine. All in all, everything—from the fresh, delicious food to the outstanding service—was top notch. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to family and friends. A hidden gem!

The wait wasn't too long...I expected a longer wait, on a Saturday. Food and drinks are always incredible. I always ask the servers to help me choose, when I am undecided. I ended up having TWO clementine beverages (they are in-season, now). One with vodka & one with tequilla. I think the one made with tequila was incredible. The vodka one had a more mild taste, but I like a more noticeable flavor. The avocado toast tasted good but was literally falling all over the table, menus, our clothing, etc so I am going to suggest they make it actually stick to the toast & smush it on. Eating it was embarrassing!😳 The cob, with crab, salad was INCREDIBLE. I couldn't finish it, but I tried to. The environment is always nice, just too bright, and that's the only reason I don't visit this chain, as much. I usually go for places that are on the dim side.

Visited Founding Farmers on Mother’s day so they were exceptionally busy. Our waiter Mateo was very attentive and frequented our table. The food was fresh and served hot even though we were a larger group. Food was delicious and service was great as always. Our favorite spot for Mother’s Day!
Alexandra A — Google review
Service was exceptional, the teamwork was a joy to watch. Our server was busy but not so much that he let us want for anything. It was a busy Sunday brunch and my biggest complaint is that there were too many things I really wanted to order. We started with peanut butter banana toast which tasted like childhood. These guys make their own chocolates. I bet they are good because the toast had a layer of marshmallow fluff and shavings of delicious chocolate on top. My daughter wanted prime rib but that isn’t served until after 5pm so she settled for a ribeye steak. I changed my mind half a dozen times but ended up getting the shrimp and grits. It was all good but I could have had chicken and waffles, or the hash and poached eggs. The special of the day was Rockfish. The server recommended getting it blackened with house made raviolis. How does anyone choose? I ordered iced tea but they sat us beside the bar where I watched the bartenders mixing their homemade sodas. If I lived here, I would be a regular here. I bet I could eat here every week for a year and get something new and delicious each time.

I've always lived Founding Farmers, but until today, I have only been here for brunch. Today, we came for lunch and tried 2 pasta dishes, both of which were phenomenal. I tried the shrimp with sun-dried tomatoes, which was slightly spicy, and my friend got the mushroom sausage gnocchi... both of which were chef's kiss. I also tried the cocktail called Clementine with tequila, and it too was phenomenal

Overall excellent. Really good service and most of the food is really good especially the cornbread. Great drinks. I have to say the crab cakes were disappointing but thats my only complaint.

The server was Gabby, she did a very good job. The food, location, atmosphere, service were all good. They were slow in cleaning table between courses, but beyond that sooo good. [The Foggy Bottom location is bad, so this experience saved my opinion of the restaurant group as a whole.]

O'Donnell's Market, a family-run establishment in Potomac Woods Plaza, has been serving the community for nearly a century. They are known for their original recipes and unique Norfolk style of cooking. The market offers an array of high-quality products including fresh seafood, premium meat cuts, and healthy prepared dishes to-go. Visitors are welcomed by the delightful scent of freshly baked bread, pies, and pastries.
This place quickly became one of my favorites since moving to Maryland, and I would consider it a neighborhood gem. The service is great, the food is always fresh and delicious. Seating can be limited but they accommodate as quickly as possible in the bar area. Tables can be reserved ahead. I absolutely love their rum bun bread pudding as a dessert to go. Fresh oysters and their seafood bisque is an order for me every time.

The food and service are amazing! I am from out of state and I really wanted crab cakes while I was here. I'm so glad I came here for them! They split our entree for us which was really nice. The crab cakes were delicious as was the bread pudding!

I was looking for sushi grade salmon and tuna for homemade sushi night and found this market on a goggle search - and only a few miles from our house! All I can say is WOW!! Super helpful service and the fish was sooo good! We got half a pound of salmon and half a pound of tuna. Finished off the salmon and saved the rest of the tuna …. worth every penny and would 100% shop here again!

Went into O'Donnell's Market to investigate if I could buy some hake (in Spanish, merluza) which is one of my favorite fish, but difficult to find in the US (but very common in Spain). The owner told me that they knew which fish this was, and that he would be able to order it for me, fresh from their fishmonger, and ready the next day! Great, fast service! I picked up my order today (a little over 5 lbs.) and the fish was fresh, fileted and skinned. It looked great. I requested it to be packed in ice and they helped me with that. Then, I stayed for lunch since they have a counter in the back where you can sit down and order from their seasonal menu. I chose the scallops, which I was told that we're "sushi grade" and had them sautéed in lemon butter sauce. They were delicious! I also had their fried clams appetizer, which was good but not great (I found it to be a little greasy, probably because they were fried in oil that was not the correct temperature). The counter is very nicely set, and the ambiance is relaxed, on the bay vibe. The service was super friendly and efficient. They also serve wine (both white and red) by the glass or the bottle. Highly recommended.

Great visit today thanks to Bill. Got some fantastic scallops and duck prosciutto to try. (Spoiler alert: Yes, outstanding together). Can't speak higher praise of the lobster rolls, the hamburgers (truly!), and the fresh baked desserts. Oh my god the peaches and cream. But you know what tops even the amazing seafood...? The staff's care and consideration of every customer and their professional eye for quality. Thank you Bill and Odonnel's family!

My husband and I wanted some fresh seafood while in the area on a business trip and I found this market online that also serves food (restaurant section is small). I am so glad we decided to give it a try. We had the crab dip appetizer which came with fresh baked bread. My husband had the seafood bisque and it was excellent. We both ordered the crab cakes as our entrée. They were amazing!! I would say the best I’ve had. So good, in fact, that we plan to order crab cakes and have them shipped home to us out of state soon. I had Brussel sprouts and corn salad as sides. My husband had corn salad and butternut squash. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely go back. We also got a cheesecake to go which was pretty good. They had a steady flow of customers the entire time we were there who were picking up fresh seafood and sides from their hot bar. There were a lot of great sides to choose from. They have a bakery as well with baked goods and a variety of desserts. Our waitress (and another waiter) were both so friendly and made us feel so welcome. They have a great thing going there. I wish we had a place like this where we live. We highly recommend!

The best seafood in town! Everything I’ve had was excellent. Lobster roll, friend oysters, casino mussels, crab cake, steamed shrimp, Rockefeller oyster, and seafood bisque. I definitely will return here and try other items on the menu.

We had a wonderful and cozy dining experience during our date night. Our server was attentive and friendly. He did an amazing job helping us to select items from the menu, giving us the historical background their famous Rum Bun, the history of the O'Donnell's restaurant and he was very patient. The manager checked in on us several times to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction and he was also very helpful in providing us with further clarification of menu related items. The food was delicious and served to us quickly. The Rum Bun, Fried Clams, Oysters Rockefeller, Crab Gumbo, the Crab Cakes, the Kale and Apple Salad, and we also grabbed a few other bakery items on the way out (mmmm.... yum.) Writing this review makes me want to go back now. (I wish that I would have taken more photos as soon as the food was served. I'll have to do that next time.) Also, something we noted was that the people that visit this place and dine here are so friendly and appear to come often. We had the opportunity to speak with one person that had been visiting O'Donnell's with their family since 1983 (different location). That's what stuck out to me as we were leaving, visiting this restaurant feels like visiting family. We will definitely be back for another date night.

Playground
Falls Road Local Park, also known as Hadleys Park, is a 20-acre urban green space in Potomac. It offers various outdoor activities such as baseball, soccer, football, and softball games. The park features multiple playgrounds with rubberized ground cover and large picnic areas with shelter covers. Additionally, visitors can enjoy walking trails and an outdoor gym. The park is popular on weekends and provides ample parking space.
This park has a large amount of parking. There are 3 different playgrounds each has a rubberized ground cover. There are gaps in the rubber cover which are mostly filled with rubber mulch but some can be trip hazards. There are quite large picnic areas and one that has a large shelter cover. There is also a small outdoor gym and two fields. The playgrounds are nice cause at least two of them are designed so there are not a lot of places a smaller kid could jump off and hurt themselves. There are also a large swing area. The park is pretty good for all ages it seems.

Golf course
Falls Road Golf Course is a public golf course located in Potomac, Maryland, just a short drive from Washington DC. It was the first MCG golf course and sits on 150 acres of former farmland. The picturesque rolling terrain offers a satisfying round of golf for players of all skill levels. Despite some variations in pace of play, the rangers are friendly and accommodating.
Played here Sunday 6 July 2025 and was super pleased for our first time here. Staff was very receptive and friendly from beginning to end. Cost was about right for the only public course in a mostly private course area, with the location and a weekend round. Pace of play was excellent, in fact, we were the pace group for 18 holes in 4 hours and yes, we were spot on at a 4-hour game - wow, very impressive. The Marshall was checking on us consistently to insure pace of play ahead of us was stacking up to what they desired, so that was quite pleasant to experience - Thank you. The course was in good condition with some areas on the back 9, nearer the woods, where the fairways had suffered from the extreme heat/humidity and tons of rain, so we kind of expected this before our arrival. Greens and tee boxes were in excellent condition throughout with greens running about what you would expect for a nice Maryland course - fairly fast. There was a staff member grilling some dogs and burgers, which was a nice little add to the course, right on the turn, thank you. The layout was scenic with enough challenges and play to eat your lunch if you were not careful, so play smarter than normal. If it looks narrow, maybe that driver isn't the best choice. Trust me, I made that mistake - don't follow my example. We played from the tips as the course is a lil shorter and found the experience pleasant enough to enjoy without feeling we were trying too hard. Our 4-some are all ~60 yrs old and average mid 80 players who normally shoot from the whites. Again, pleasant to play and when we go back, the tips will be our norm. Overall experience was excellent and our group had no complaints. Our foursome definitely recommend taking the time to play the course. To the staff - Thank you as well.

Well maintained most of the time for a public course. Busier than the other MoCo courses in my experience, and sometimes the players can be a little less patient. I’ve found the staff to be pleasant and helpful almost every time.

I am from Europe and had the pleasure to visit this amazing public Golf course in August 2025. The experience was outstanding, the staff was the most friendly we have seen. If you go there, take the time and visit the club house. There you will meet Felix, one of the nicest guys we have ever met, and on top, YOU HAVE TO TRY HIS BURGER & FRIES…..AMAZING. As Austrians say, „I‘ll be back“ 😊 Thank you all, thank you Felix for the experience. Andreas

Nice, clean and well air conditioned clubhouse, staffed by friendly helpful folks. Driving range was great fun. Quite busy, even on warm and humid Saturday July morning in a heat wave. Nevertheless, early birds will have no problem finding an open bay.
Will S — Google review
Overall not a very good experience. The fairways and greens were in spotty and poor condition. We had a 7:42 tee time and arrived well in advance of scheduled tee time. Starter told us that we needed to keep up our pace of play as there was a ladies group after us who would not hesitate to complain if we held them up. Made the mistake of engaging the starter in conversation and he continued to talk with us so by the time we reached the first tee box we were already 7 minutes late for our tee off time. Everything was fine until the starter showed up on the 12th hole and told us we were a hole behind and we needed to pick up the pace. The fact that we were a hole behind was directly attributed to our late start time as we were on pace for a normal 4 hour round (all four in our group play fairly fast). Also the group behind never had to wait on our group since we were on pace. When I pointed that out to the starter he told me rudely that rounds that started before 9:00 were expected to play in 3 1/2 hours. I told him it wasn’t that easy to play the round that quickly and he said that his 13 year old grandson could play in 3 1/2 hours. Nowhere was it posted that we were expected to play in 3 1/2 hours, nor did the starter tell us this in his pre round instructions. It is illogical to think that a 4 hour round (post 9:00) could be played in 3 1/2 hours just because it was earlier.
Gregg M — Google review
I’ve played this course several times, and it’s generally well-maintained with good greens and fairways. The fairways and rough are consistently in decent shape, though the greens can occasionally suffer due to players not repairing divots. It’s a popular course, likely due to its location, so it often gets very crowded. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was ruined by poor staff communication and management. We had a 6:30 AM tee time and were playing at the expected 2hr/9 holes pace posted on the scorecard, with two players in our group shooting personal bests (+2 and +4 through 9 holes). Despite this, we were told by the starter to skip the 10th hole due to a supposed gap ahead of us (again, we were playing on pace per the scorecard). For context, the group in front of us already had a one-hole head start before we even teed off the first hole. After a brief discussion with the ranger, we complied with his request and skipped the hole, only to end up waiting roughly 10 minutes for that same group to finish the par-3 11th. The skip ended up being pointless and disruptive to the remainder of the round. The round was ruined at this point as we knew we wouldn’t be allowed to circle back. Later, the pro shop informed us that morning tee times are expected to finish in 3.5 hours and not the 4 hours posted on the scorecard. This was never communicated to us before or during the round and isn’t posted anywhere; in the clubhouse, on the scorecard, or on course signage. Had that been made clear, we would’ve played accordingly. I spent nearly $100 on this round and walked away feeling disrespected and frustrated. Until the course improves its communication and staff training, I won’t be returning and I’d recommend other golfers look elsewhere. We were offered a $10 rain check but that felt this was an uneven compromise.
Nick W — Google review
Starter and marshal are absolutely delusional - held us up from our tee time barking about importance of pace of play and then made us skip the 4th hole when we played the first 3 holes in 32min and the group behind wasn’t even on the 3rd tee. We were hardly slow. Made the turn in under 90 min and finished in less than 3h20min. Won’t play there again.

If you're in Potomac, Maryland, and craving authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further than Gringos & Mariachis. This vibrant eatery boasts a taco-centric menu that features everything from enchiladas to burritos and fajitas. The rustic decor is complemented by edgy murals, creating an inviting atmosphere perfect for dining in or enjoying the outdoor space during warmer months. The lively vibe is enhanced by a fantastic happy hour on weekdays, making it an ideal spot to unwind with friends.
This was the 1st time visiting this restaurant, very nicely set up with tables both indoors and out on the outdoor patio that allows its root to open up for more air and sun and also to close up in the event of impending storms, no matter which location you choose you’ll not be disappointed. There’s a big bar that goes from the inside wrapping up to one of the sides outside, there’s good music vibes and people mingling within and out of their table group. There’s happy hour food and drinks menu only goes up to 6 PM, and the food menu is mainly a variation of tacos and a fried rolled empanada with both a rémolade sauce and a more liquid type, a Honey Glazed Ceviche it was quite delicious and a notch below was the. Carne Asada that despite of ordering it Medium it was one point more overcooked to my liking. The drinks they were the skinny margarita and a non alcoholic Paloma both delicious (2 Skinny Margaritas and 3 Palomas), that I could keep on drinking the entire evening, to top it off, I decided to try the Iced Mexican Coffee and it was also quite good. Our server Karen was quite good being very attentive to our needs and the other tables on the outdoor patio making this a very good dining experience. Looking forward to returning here soon!!

This place is a joke. To start our table was sticky 🤮The servings are child size and the price are for extra large 🤬. Not authentic Mexican food at all. My milanesa torta look like a badly made sandwich with a thin piece of chicken. Chips and salsa were good. That’s it! If you doing a birthday celebration, prepared to do it your self. They don’t sing for the birthday guess. And you have to buy a cake from them. 🤬🤬. Never going again check out the pics of the tiniest tacos in the world you need to buy like 10 of them to be satisfied and they were $5 each. Taco Bell tacos had more flavor than this place. 🤢🤮🤬

Everything is about half size. Changed from 2 to a 4. Food is good but portions are small. Somethings better than others, chicken tacos, good but not with it. Burrito was really good... Not sure if we will do it again.

Came here for date night because the vibe is nice and the drinks are pretty good. The food is okay. I got the chicken chimichanga which was good and filing. My boyfriend got the carne asada tacos - he was disappointed on how little meat they had. He asked me if this was all it and I told him that I don’t usually come here to eat, I only come here for the drinks and vibes and now he knows why. I do like their happy hour menu. Their small plates are good.

I just got my order from Uber Eats 4 Coca Colas, 4 coconut flans and 2 tres leches, and I am SO DISAPPOINTED because one of the tres leches is fresh and soft like they made it today and the other one is hard as a rock, dry and old like they made it one moth ago. How can you send that to your clients?? Just because your clients didn’t show up at the restaurant it doesn’t mean you are going to send something that you wouldn’t even eat. And this is not the first time I am experiencing this because I ordered before also tres leches and it wasn’t fresh. Poor quality kitchen management.

This is my 3rd visit over the years. Every time I pass by this restaurant from 270 I remember the excellent taste of the food here. I usually order the tacos which are a great value for money and are quite filling. Excellent choice of beer with local IPAs as well. The staff are awesome, always do great cheerful service. They seem happy and they make you happy.

The food and service at the place are amazing. I have tried here a few times and had good experience. The service is good as they keep on checking on you a few times during 🍽. They also have a discounted menu from 3 to 6 pm on weekdays. I tried different entries here, and everything is good. The corn at this place is superb, so give it a try. Overall, it's a good Mexican restaurant.

Great Mexican Food. The vibe for this place is pretty cool. We stopped in here after seeing it on our way to Founding Farmers. We hadn't tried it and decided to go here instead. Service was great, food was excellent, and generally had a great experience. Love the artwork on the walls. Bought a T-shirt.

Asian fusion restaurant
Grand Fusion is a bright and diverse Asian dining establishment that features a small but creative sushi counter, alongside an array of Chinese classics and noodle dishes. It has been a popular choice for many diners who worked in Rockville between 2008 to 2012, as the quality of the food was consistently excellent. Even now, occasional visitors still make the drive from Frederick just to indulge in their delectable chicken chow mein, which they consider unrivaled by any other place.
I love their crispy beef, truly the BEST I could ever find in the Potomac/Rockville area. It is very crunchy, crispy, sweet, savory outside and soft inside. Perfect for a great dish for dinner! Also love their fried rice with shrimp and chow fun with chicken! Prices are very reasonable with great quality! It's my family's go to place (for pick up) every 2-3 weeks!

It was an okay experience. Sushi was acceptable. The other foods were fairly starchy. The flavors in the dishes did not pop. It's not bad food, but it's not great. 3/5 stars. Maybe an okay visit if you are looking for a specific dish or want to get an okay meal.

Been a take-out and delivery customer for years. Great food and plentiful portions. Always get orders correct. Great taste. Delivery is fast from order. Since Covid, fewer dine-in customers, but order weekly for pick up or delivery. Never disappointed. Dine in atmosphere not the most elegant but love food for take out. Prices are very reasonable for Potomac.

Just OK for what we ordered. The hot and sour soup was more on the sour side. The spare ribs were good but the spicy Chinese mustard was bland and not the up-your-nose hot that we are used to. The lettuce wraps were disappointing, too saucy and the meat was mush. We also had the salt and pepper mixed seafood, which fine but not great, a little heavy on the batter. Usually, places that have massively large menus tend to never do anything exceptionally well. This appears to be that case. There are probably some great dishes, it would just take a lot of time to find them and since I'm not local, that probably won't happen. Service was OK, took a while to get our order as they were buried with takeout requests. The place was clean and well kept.
M B — Google review
Food is just okay, but the service is absolutely horrible. This place does not make sure the order is complete before delivery and acts like it’s your fault, not theirs. They refused to send their driver back with the missing item, instead telling us to “throw away the food”. It used to be our go-to place for local Chinese food, but my office will never be ordering from here again. Stay away!
Anthony C — Google review
I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. The food is always excellent and the service too. I ordered hot and sour soup, bean curd with black bean sauce with scallions and jalapeños (awesomely spiced just right!), and General Tso’s chicken (also sweet and a bit spicy). Dishes are moderately priced and the ambience very good.
Norman W — Google review
Ordered orange chicken definitely didn’t taste like it. Tasted more like general Tso with xtra breading and chicken fat. The white rice tasted stale! Only came here because it was close by and was starving. Feeding the rest of it to the dogs. Their dumplings are gross too

If you're on the hunt for a delightful sushi experience, look no further than En Bistro & Sushi. This charming eatery prides itself on serving up fresh, farm-to-table dishes crafted by skilled chefs who truly understand the art of sushi-making. The menu is packed with mouthwatering options, and the dragon roll comes highly recommended! Located conveniently in Potomac Village, En Bistro & Sushi stands out as a local gem amidst the bustling sushi scene often dominated by Washington DC hotspots.
This is an underrated restaurant, and I'm surprised it's not always packed! The seafood is incredibly fresh, with tender and succulent texture, and both the cooking methods and seasoning are spot on. Every dish is delicious, highly recommended!

Since the pandemic, this restaurant has expanded its space and undergone a full renovation, so the atmosphere now feels fresh, clean, and much more inviting. We ordered a variety of sushi and other dishes. Overall, the food was decent — nothing particularly memorable, but everything was well-prepared and enjoyable. Definitely a noticeable improvement compared to my visit five years ago. Here’s what I wrote back then: It offers variety of Asian food featuring Chinese food and Japanese food. Pan Fried Yellowtail Jaw 4.5/5 It is crispy outside and tender inside. With lemon juice squeezed on it, tastes even better. Shredded Beef with Hot Pepper 3/5 It is not super spicy. The beef tastes tender. HOWEVER, it is tooooo oily. See attached photo... Shanghai Wonton 2/5 Taste fatty and stale. Do NOT order it. Service is pretty good. The waiter is very hospitable and nice.

Awesome restaurant. Robby has been our fantastic host for years. He never fails to deliver an outstanding experience. Sushi is fresh. New duck rolls are delicious. Everything is perfect.

I picked this place cause of the better reviews it had over another local restaurant. I ordered take out and the customer service over the phone was super prompt and friendly! I ordered their vegetarian orange chicken, but I’m highly disappointed. I’m giving 2 stars to be generous. This was the absolute most flavorless thing I’ve ever eaten, especially in the Asian cuisine. The sauce was watery and had no orange flavor at all. Which is crazy cause it looked like it had so much flavor to it. I had to drown the food in soy sauce to actually have flavor. Otherwise the texture of the fake chicken was good compared to most places and TONS of broccoli in the bowl too which most places don’t give that much. But I’m extremely disappointed it had no flavor. $20 wasted…
Cece N — Google review
I stopped ordering from this place years ago, I did not like their food. But one person in my party asked for them. What a disappointment! -- There so many other better choice today. Back than, they were mediocre, but now compare to other sushi places or Thai places around us, this is the worst place I got food in years. -- Sticky Mongo rice, rice has no taste, mango was not ripe. I got three portions for three people, two and 1/2 was left on the table. Some other places make rice green and sweet and very delicious. We never had any leftovers. Ton Yum "soup" had 3 tiny shrimps, soup water did taste like water. Oh, there was 1/2 of one small mushroom thinly sliced. nothing else! Really, you can call this a soup? I cannot !!! Sushi had more rice than fish, the only wasabi that had a little taste was the one that I paid an extra $1 for. The rest of it if you place the whole thing in your mouth you would not fill any taste of wasabi. Eggplant tastes ok, but there is so much oil in the box, I did not even want eat it. The pictures that you see in other review is clearly staged, and does not tell you if what you see any good. I could not even find these dishes on the menu. I am not complaining about their service or atmosphere. I never dined in, just carryout. But I cant stand their food... If you want Thai food, especially Tom Yum soup, try "Kiin Imm Thai" restaurant. I never been inside, but it is my go to place on Door Dash. Their soup twice as big, has tons of huge shrimps, vegies and so on, plus you can customize it any way you want. Their eggplants do not swim in oil. Mango rice is sweet and delicious, my only complaint that is is small (but bigger than this place). If you want sushi or sashimi try new restaurant named Kusshi. Their sushi have lots of fish and thin rice cover, their sashimi slices 2 times bigger and look / taste very fresh. Again i am not trying to promote any place, they do not know me and I do not know them, I never ate in any of these places, but I order from them multiple times a week (using third party apps). I have not even have any idea from which particular restaurant I got delivery from (location) or how many of them in the area. Oh and the person who asked me to get food from this place, said never again....

Visited after long time but Seems they changed Chef or owner. Dishes are now typical American Chinese restaurant 1 flavor LOL Used to like Chilean sea bass with tofu a lot. Tried this time - terrible! No more return.

Wonderful dining experience! The Tom Ka soup is delicious — such an incredible coconut broth! Our three sushi rolls were beautifully plated and had a great blend of flavors. We also tried the new Beef Tataki appetizer — tender and savory. Top off your meal with the mango sticky rice for a very satisfying sweet treat. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the area!

Day 4

Off the beaten path
For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like C&O Canal Lock 21 (Swains Lock). Not quite as popular as Glenstone, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 6 hours.

Historical landmark
A beautiful and pleasant river walk with some people camping and go fishing. There are multiple entrances, and a lot of cyclists. There is only one food truck(hot dogs, ice creams etc.) near the visitor center but on the expensive side. They do accept card payments. Dogs are allowed on leash, but not permitted on some trails. Please be mindful of the trash, and try to not leave anything but your 👣.

The C&O is awesome! So beautiful and serene. This is a good spot to enter the C&O Canal towpath. Parking is free, but there's not a lot of it. There is camping here, by reservation, or you can rent the lock house overnight, and it has full plumbing (incl showers and toilets), HVAC, kitchen, and beds.

Awesome hidden gem. We stayed here on saturday after it stopped raining. I think about 6 others were out there over 5 different sites so tons of room for even more. Right on the potomac and several fire pits. We will definitely go back soon. A couple of herons own the runoff area by the canal and gobble up the little fish.
Nicholas M — Google review
Really cool piece of history and a fun “glamping” type place to stay. There is heating and air conditioning, indoor plumbing, electrical, and lots of kitchen items for cooking. You are encouraged to bring your own water for cooking and drinking. I brought around five gallons, and it was more than enough for three people during a weekend visit. Guests are required to clean and remove all trash before checking out. This is a trash free park, so you’ll need to bring it with you. There is a fire pit just outside for guest use. We put it to good use roasting marshmallows for s’mores and hotdogs. While you’re here, be sure to open all of the little doors inside of the cabin and read the plaques for some neat history facts about the C & O Canal and the family that kept Lockhouse 21. Also, don’t forget to take a peek outside - just to the left of the front door - where you’ll find flood markers stamped with dates, marking water levels.

Antique store
Art gallery
Potomac French Market was established by Teri Troxell and Rene Redfield Shaw in 2017, inspired by their love for home decor. The market offers unique items reminiscent of open-air markets in New Orleans and Paris. Customers praise the owners' knowledge and friendliness, as well as the variety of vintage items available. The store also offers soups and beverages for sale with a seating area to enjoy the surroundings.
Stepping into the Potomac French Market feels like being transported to a charming European village! The shop is beautifully decorated and has an incredible selection of curated gifts, local artisan products, and delicious French pastries. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner is so kind and helpful. I found the perfect unique gift for a friend — and even a little something for myself. A must-visit spot if you're anywhere near Potomac!

Charming shop with many unique items. Nicely presented. Many fragile items with limited protection. Not a place to bring small children. Items include antique furniture, fine china and many nicknacks. Pricing is in line with similar shops. Not a thrift store.

What a beautiful little antique shop I ran across today. The Owners are extremely nice and welcoming. They were very knowledgeable about the antiques history. My husband bought me the silver tea set as a Valentine gift. I could have left with more but did not to get carried away because I pretty much loved everything. I also like that they had soups and beverages for sale in front of their store with a seating area to eat and enjoy the scenery. I plan to refer others. I will definitely be back!

My wife found this place about a year ago, right after we moved to the area. The first time we went, we left with a car load of vintage items that we have used to decorate our house. We've gone back several times, to the point of where the owners recognize us when we walk in. We've gotten a couple pieces of furniture there, and they do a great job of keeping the place stocked with antiques, as well as items from small businesses in the area or new items. It's a great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon looking for new treasures. We always take friends there that have any interest in antiques, and we always find something there. Cannot recommend enough!

Greenbriar Local Park in Potomac, MD is a fantastic destination for families with kids. The park offers a wide range of fun activities and amenities that ensure an enjoyable experience. One of the standout features is the huge pergola, which provides a delightful gathering spot and adds a touch of charm to the park. Children will be entertained by the various playground structures and play areas available. From swings to slides and climbing structures, the park also offers open spaces perfect for picnics or playing games, allowing families to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Parking was great too , lots of space. If like us your brought your toddler to Glenstone museum and was turned back at least this is a choice of consolation and definitely more entertaining for kids.

Great park for kids. There's a toddler area and a bigger kid playground. There's a single Port-a-Potty for a bathroom. There's a covered picnic area with several benches. Kids had fun. Would recommend!

What a great place to take the kids to run around. It’s very clean, the rubber floors feels really nice, and the structures are so fun for the kids. It is also very informative about the Potomac river and all the areas surrounding it. There is one portable bathroom that ran out of hand sanitizer. Luckily everyone carries around some these days!!

Probably the most creative and locally appropriate playground park theme and execution I’ve ever visited. The details are what blew me away here: the red headed woodpecker on the entrance boardwalk, the fact the steps to the boat are shaped like crab traps. Adorable. I think the portapotty is being serviced currently though where it’s very needed as the park was full on an unusually sunny and warm Sunday last weekend.

How can you miss black olives and pepperoni??? on a pizza lol. I double checked my online order yaap! BLACK Olives , pepperoni! I should have called them but after working more than 12 hrs and getting stuck ina Friday traffic - my serenity was more important!

On Sunday I had food delivered. It was my second time ordering from them. The first time was great. Food was very fresh, and the person on the phone was very friendly, and polite. The driver also was very good. This time I had the same experience with the person on the phone and the food also. I am handicap and have problems walking. I live on the second floor, and I have to let people in which means I have to go down and back up two flights of stairs. When the driver came nothing would do he insisted that he would bring my food upstairs. He was even concerned about me getting up the stairs safely. I have never had such wonderful service. I highly recommend them. 😊

I used to order from here all the time. There was a guy with a hat who always made the food really well. But recently, a young guy and a rude girl started working at this location, and they don’t listen to customers at all. They don’t make orders correctly, and if you try to complain, they rudely tell you to order from somewhere else. I even saw them making pizza without gloves multiple times. After years of ordering from here, I’m never coming back.

Pizza restaurant
Tally Ho Restaurant has been a beloved local gem since 1968, offering a relaxed dining experience that feels like home. This charming diner specializes in classic breakfasts and an array of deli sandwiches, pizzas, and Greek dishes. It's the ideal spot for brunch after a busy morning of errands or sports practice. Guests rave about their hearty omelets and traditional American breakfast plates featuring eggs, bacon, and hash browns.
My first visit to Tally Ho was in 1977, my first day on a landscape crew. The fact it's still here, an institution in Potomac since 1968 is a testament. A big menu of Italian and Greek specialties, subs, salads, sandwiches, burgers and PIZZA. The pizza, IMO is the best traditional Brooklyn style of any pizza I've had in my 55 years of pizza in DMV, NY, Chicago (great, but different) Italy (not always good) or anywhere. The crust is thicker than Brooklyn and doesn't have quite the same structure re: Dave Portnoy, but the dough has the same mouth feel and flavor. The GF pizza crust is also one of the best, next to Ledo's as they make their own dough, not that lame GF shell from Sysco that most places use. The Gyro is real good. I often get the Greek salad with Gyro meat.

We stopped in for brunch before hiking at Great Falls. The food is great but they seemed understaffed and it's a pretty spartan operation. The prices were good though and we didn't have to wait for a table. I'd be willing to go back and give them another shot.

TL;DR: Pick up service staff ruined our Mother's Day. We decided to order lunch/brunch for pick up on Mothers Day so neither my Mom nor I had to cook for 8 people. We have lived in Potomac for about three years now, and never tried Talley Ho, but I heard the food is terrific, they have a great menu, and it's small, family-owned business that I wanted to support. So I placed our order for pick up through Seamless, and my 78-year-old father went to pick it up. When he got the food home to us, a third of the food was missing, and most of it had been put in the boxes and bags so roughly that there was sauce and grease everywhere - on the packaging, and all over the backseat of my Dad's car. They also gave us the wrong salad dressing, which wouldn't have been a big deal except that when my Dad drove all the way back to get the rest of our food, the pick up guy actually argued with him about it! Arguing with a customer about two little plastic thingies of salad dressing for crying out loud! He also proceeded to put the rest of our food in the boxes and bag upside down, looking my Dad straight in the face as he did so, so there was another mess to deal with when we got home the second time. I really don't appreciate how rude the staff person was to my father, a grandfather just trying to make Mother's Day nice for us, nor how carelessly they packed up the food. Put a real damper on our Mother's Day and a real sour taste in my mouth. I wish I had just cooked.

I had the French toast and scrapple. The scrapple portion was small so I ordered a side of bacon. Note to self always choose bacon. But back to the French toast; it was yummy with decadent drops of delicious in the form of cinnamon sprinkled on top that melted perfectly with the more than ample serving of butter! My dude felt like the butter was too much and opted to leave it on the plate. My little sister got pizza with pineapples because it is yummy...and it was. Now my uncle got the lasagna. I believe it to have been more than serviceable as no one was offered a taste and he didn't talk until it was gone. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the perfect spot for varying tastes to all be satisfied. DO NOT FORGET TO CHECK THE DESSERTS...the orange cake did not disappoint neither did the cherry pie.

The food was absolutely delicious and fries were amazing. The veggies calzone not only looked amazing but it was delicious too with ample filing of cheese and vegetables.

This is not just a pizza place! They have delicious breakfast too. Could not have been more impressed. I went here thinking I was in for a mediocre time, as it is a sleepy restaurant that’s sort of hidden in Potomac. I ordered the steak and eggs and who ever cooked that thing hit it out of the park. Got the temperature to a perfect medium rare, the eggs were cooked precisely to what I requested, and the home fries were delicious. Could not have been happier.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Potomac Village. I always get the same thing, eggplant parmigiana sub with a side of fries. It’s delicious and the bread really makes the sub. It’s so fresh! The fries are also more on the crispy side which I love. I always get takeout.

Some of the best pizza I've had, definitely a notch above some of the other places nearby. Always feel like I'm welcomed when I come in, very friendly staff

Pizza restaurant
Nestled in the charming suburb of Potomac, Maryland, Potomac Pizza has been delighting locals with its delicious offerings since 1978. This beloved pizzeria combines a nostalgic atmosphere with a menu that features both classic and innovative pies, including gluten-free options that have garnered much praise. Whether you're craving traditional pepperoni or adventurous toppings like broccoli and spinach ricotta, there's something for everyone.
Dropped in before a football game for a quick snack. Pizza is available by the slice and the prices ($3 for cheese and $4 for up to 3 toppings) is a steal. The slices are generously sized and packed with toppings. The crust is delicious. The sausage on my slices wasn’t what I generally prefer but it was good. I have to ding them for slow service however. It took nearly 30 minutes for the slices to arrive and the server basically just disappeared when we needed refills or the check. Still, highly recommend. Great pies and a great value.

Awesome service! Big thanks to Kendrick, he was super professional and made sure my takeout pizza was perfect. Also, could you please add a mushroom sauce pizza to the menu? That’ll make this place even better !

I come here for Calzone usually and it never disappoints. Just keep in mind, if you order large, better have 3 friends with you to handle it, it's huge. Hot tomato sauce on a size and crushed red 🌶. They have redesigned inside, its pleasant and great place to enjoy quick lunch with friends or family.

This was agreat pizza experience for me ...I've been in the pizza business since 1987 and I absolutely love pizza and a number of Italian dishes! Last week I had the pleasure of stopping by this locally named restaurant nestled in the historic Washington DC suburb named Potomac maryland, first of all the ecstatic of the building was like going i to a time capsule with the dated pictures and tables . I ordered the lunch special... that allowed me to get two slices of pizza with up to three toppings, my choice of a salad or fries and a large drink for $9.99 !! I was sold !! The pizza was outstanding the salad was fresh and the large drink hit the spot .....keep up the good work guys I'll be back !!

It was 1 pm in a Sunday and towards the end of the big Sunday rush. The delivery of the pizzas to our table was quite slow and one was cold and under cooked. My GF pizza was quite good, thus the 4. A big plus was they returned a new pizza that was good and Free.

I planned a surprise birthday party at Potomac Pizza and the bartender Crystal was wonderful in accommodating our group. It made the birthday party a great success. Thank you Crystal. - Brigitta

Potomac pizza, the food is good when your looking for something quick. But the prices are not matching the food quality. The pizza crust is thin so only get one topping nothing extra. But the wings are okay. So if you are in the area expect to pay Potomac Maryland prices for okay food.

Potomac Pizza is a pizza place down in Potomac. I used to 5 star this place, but ever since the renovation, it has become a bit sterile. Still love the food and the staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Do recommend!
