Goderich Main Beach is a popular destination in Ontario's west coast, offering a picturesque setting with its sparkling blue waters and sandy shoreline. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk, partake in various water sports, or simply relax on the beach. The area also features amenities such as changing facilities and restrooms, making it convenient for families. Additionally, the beach is located near restaurants and provides stunning views of Goderich's salt mine.
We visited on a a long weekend in July. There is ample parking but you have to pay the police monitor the parking lot very closely. There's nice landscaping all around the beach and parking area. There's a place structure for the kids. Nice bathrooms. A water bottle filling station, a food truck and a little restaurant. There are picnic tables where you can sit and eat food. The beach was large and sandy. There is an ADA mat from the sidewalk to the water for people with disabilities. Despite it being a holiday weekend, there weren't too many people on the beach. And there was a nice breeze coming off the beach. The water was nice and warm and protected inside a breakwater. There were a lot of stones in the water so make sure you wear water shoes.

We will definitely come back to this place. the weather is a bit gloomy that day but it did not slight the beautiful scenic view of the lake Huron. there is a parking area which you need to pay for. there are also picnic table and benches around the area. it is also pet friendly since I saw some people playing with their dogs along the beach.
A little touch of the Caribbean in Ontario, Canada! The coulors of the water during the day look like you're in the Caribbean. Such a gorgeous beach, with lots of parking, washrooms, food and play areas for kids. They also have a wheelchair ramp. It's has gorgeous white sand and lots of rocks! I highly recommend this beach!
Goderich Beach is absolutely beautiful and one of my favourite spots in Ontario. The water is so clear and refreshing, and the beach is clean with lots of space to spread out and enjoy the day.
It’s a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking to relax. There are walking trails nearby, picnic areas, and places close by to grab food or drinks, which makes spending the whole day here so easy. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, and it really shows why Goderich is called the “prettiest town in Canada.” I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Gorgeous turquoise water that gives off Caribbean vibes! Lunch at the Rotary restaurant was great. Staff was continuously working to keep all areas clean and garbage cans emptied. Had a wonderful time there.
Goderich Main Beach is a beautiful spot on the shores of Lake Huron. The water is clean, the beach is well-maintained, and the sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking—some of the best in Ontario! There’s plenty of space to relax, walk along the boardwalk, or enjoy a picnic. The nearby amenities, including washrooms and parking, make it convenient for families and visitors. Whether you’re here for a swim, a stroll, or just to watch the waves, this beach is a gem worth visiting.
Visited the prettiest town of Canada Goderich on Lake Huron couple of times. Stayed back once for sunset, it was beautiful and refreshing. There is a nice walking area alongside the beach. Lighthouse has a lovely view point which can be accessed by car if you don’t want to climb up the stairs. Overall nice beach to spend time with family and friends.
If you're looking for a not overly crowded beach with stunning views, Goderich is a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. It has a boardwalk to walk along the beach enjoying the view. Also there's plenty of parking even during summer times. This is definitely one of my favourite beaches.

Service is also excellent.
We had the coconut shrimps that were perfectly crispy, the spinach and artichoke dip wasn’t too heavy, just perfect. The mussels were a delight. Even the pines frites were light and crispy.
The view of the lake is also great.
If you’re in the area, you must stop here! Enjoy!

We went to have lunch at this restaurant which looked both unusual and historic. With a high ballroom ceiling and a spacious dining area overlooking the lake, it made a perfect place to have a family get-together. The servers were polite and efficient. The menu was the usual pub food, but it tasted good. The selection is somewhat limited especially if you are looking to have a variety. The pricing is on the higher end.
A very busy spot, his different types of seating, choosing from outdoor patios to indoor restaurant to private room to a larger room for family or business events. Food was very good, good portions, a tiny bit slow but to be expected when it's that busy. Washrooms are downstairs, nice and clean and up to date. Very pleasant experience visiting this restaurant!
Beach Street Station was formerly a CP Rail train station that was moved in 2013 to its current location and renovated in 2015 overlooking the main beach area.
We arrived in time for sunset which was spectacular with the restaurant's panoramic windows over looking the unobstructed waterfront.
We tried their Cesar salad, wagyu gyoza 10 oz strip loin, seafood linguine and salmon. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The servers are efficient and friendly.
The prices are higher but definitely worth it for the ambiance, amazing waterfront vista and good food.
Came to celebrate a family Birthday gathering for three out of four family members last night, coincidentally our server is celebrating her Birthday today, happy Birthday to you as well! 😊 Food was wonderful, came out fast and hot. Pickerel on rice, fried perch as well as fish tacos, batter was perfectly golden, pickerel was seared well. Great atmosphere down near the water, beautiful sunset. Would definitely recommend sitting down at this establishment and getting a bite, it will be worth your time. 😁
The perfect day to eat on the patio. Our server was busy but very attentive. He made our experience very enjoyable.

Visiting from Niagara region for our anniversary. First time at Park House Bar and bound not to be our last. The bar area was so quaint and warm with a wood burning stove in the corner on a cold and snowy night. The atmosphere was comforting. We felt a little rushed by our server and weren't offered another beer but understand the need to move patrons along. The food was great and I can say their fish tacos are the best I have ever had anywhere! I seem to order them often. I would highly recommend Park House to anyone looking for a great meal with a nice atmosphere at reasonable prices.

After visiting Goderich Beach and the Lighthouse, I stopped at Park House Bar and Restaurant and it was a great choice. I ordered the ribs and wings combo and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly, and it made for a perfect way to end a day in Goderich. I’d definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in town!
Really good burgers, fresh ingredients, tasty and juicy patty. AMAZING carrot cake, 100% recommended even if carrot cake is not your go-to choice of dessert.
There was a a large crowd from a golf tournament the night we visited so a bit louder than I imagine it normally would be, and slower service but we still had a good time.
We had a delightful lunch at Park House. Staff were very flexible and low key; food was right on; prices were fair. I want to bring my child there sometime for the bottomless drinks! We had the Summer Steak Salad (steak to our preference, bold flavours) and Buddha Bowl (light, fresh, yummy!). Totally recommend.
It's everything I remember. It's been about 15 yrs since we had made our way to Godrich, but even after all those years this restaurants hasn't changed a bit.
Very homelike feel and the food is amazing. Definitely won't wait another 15 yrs.

Average food with a longer than average wait time
No wait for a table but it was 20 minutes before being greeted by our server, no drink menu was offered until it was time to order and we had to ask what options were available.
We were seated for 57 minutes before our meals came out (no apps) and they were mostly cold, other than the fries. Several other tables with larger groups were seated, served, and left before we even saw our food (party of 3).
Disappointed to say the least after receiving several recommendations to eat here from locals

Visiting the Goderich Lighthouse was such a special experience for our family! The view of Lake Huron from the top is absolutely stunning—especially during sunset. We reached there just in time to watch the sun dip into the water, painting the sky with incredible colours. It felt magical, and the kids were in awe.
The area around the lighthouse is well-kept, with benches and open space for the little ones to run around safely. We took lots of family photos with the lighthouse and the lake in the background—definitely memories we’ll cherish. It’s a peaceful, scenic spot that makes you slow down and really enjoy the moment. A must-visit if you’re in or around Goderich. Perfect for families, couples, or even solo travelers looking for beauty and calm.

This is a small well-kept lighthouse on a bluff overlooking lake Huron and the town of godrich. There's a nice little Park with a swing set for the kids. There's no parking lot but you can easily park on the street. There are benches along the bluff where you can sit and look out over the water and the harbor. While we were there two freighters left port and it was cool to watch.
The Goderich Lighthouse is a beautiful historic landmark with stunning views of Lake Huron. There is free street parking available nearby, though the spaces are limited. Stairs beside the lighthouse lead directly down to St. Christopher’s Beach, making it a convenient spot to enjoy both the lighthouse and the waterfront. A must-see stop when visiting Goderich.
Have been there a couple of times now, once in summer and now once in spring. You can either “cheat” and drive up there or park near the beach and take the better way and climb the stairs. They are steep and does take your breath away. There are benches on some levels that you can use.
Once you are up the sight takes your breath away. The clear blue waters. Benches facing the water, one can sit there on a good day and spend some time. Next time winter Goderich Lighthouse or perhaps Autumn.
Beautiful scenery. It's a very relaxing area. Definitely a must see area if you visit Goderich;
The lighthouse is situate across the Goderich Main beach but you need to climb lot of stairs to reach to the place, the view of the entire town is great from the Lighhouse.

Culvert’s Bakery is a true gem! Every item in the display looks absolutely delicious, but I have to give a special shoutout to their cream, hazelnut, Oreos & cream, and pistachio doughnuts. Each bite is a delightful explosion of flavor—so fresh and tasty! My boys couldn’t get enough and wished we had bought more. It’s definitely a place we’ll stop by every time we visit Goderich. Highly recommended!

After dinner across the street, we stopped by this little bakery in Goderich. They were just about to close, so the selection was a bit limited, but we still managed to grab a mix of treats — cookies, lemon bars, and a few other goodies. Prices were very reasonable.
Back at the hotel, we tried everything and honestly, every single item was delicious. The cookies were especially good — we picked several kinds, and my son loved them so much he wanted to go back the next day just to buy a whole box.
It’s a small, charming bakery (looked like it’s run by one lady when we visited), and it’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in town. Great taste and a lovely local find!
Came 30 minutes before they opened to finally try their famous cream puff donuts and let me tell you it was well worth the wait! Such a great local business that is so loved by the community! I’ll certainly be back (and likely many times)!
I have never been so disappointed in a bakery before. We ordered the chocolate brownies, lemon bars, and Nanaimo bars. Quickly realized when we got home that ALL bars were M&M meats frozen dessert bars. Absolutely disgusted that a bakery would attempt to sell this as their own. We also bought the honey donuts and some cookies- both were clearly old, very dry and not appetizing at all. Would not recommend this bakery whatsoever.
A friend of mine was heading to Goderich & I was told about the cream puffs, so I placed an online order the night before they went & I'm SO GLAD I did since my friend missed out; the lady before him in line bought the last box of cream puffs!!
I got my order though (I did offer to share but he declined)so I had lots.
I will tell you that nothing I got disappointed! The cream in the puffs & cruffinpuffs is so light & tasty, not sugary or too sweet but oh so delicious!
I also got the assorted shortbread and will say my favorite was all of them but my top 2 were the coconut & cherry & am definitely getting some more of them, they didn't even make it to the freezer, I ate them all. Haha
I also ordered more than 2 people could eat in a week so I took a chance and froze some, took them out today, thawed them & it was the same deliciousness I had before freezing them! Don't be afraid to order more, I just put the box in a plastic bag & right into the freezer.
I will also say my other favorite treat but the raspberry coconut buttertarts. I honestly never would have thought the two would be a perfect taste March, when I ordered them, I didn't know it was a butter tart so it was the most pleasant mistake ever & most definitely on my list to order more, they also freeze very well!!
Can't wait til my friend goes back but my suggestion is to place your order online the day before or you may be disappointed when you get there if they are sold out. The ease of navigating the site and paying was so easy!
I love the cream puff at Culberts. The wife and I went on a road trip to Goderich yesterday and picked up some cream puffs and a few other items, eighteen and change. When we got back to Guelph, I made a tea and got a cream puff. The puff was so dense, it ruined the whole taste. We both did not finish and through the rest in the garbage. The only thing we kept was the apple turnovers. This place has gone down hill and I would not recommend this bakery to anyone anymore.
Sadly we didn't get to try the famous creampuffs as they were out. I'll preorder or go earlier in the day next time. They still had a wide selection of dessert bars and we tried 5 different ones. Although they were tasty and fresh I found they weren't anything I haven't had before. Still yummy and solid.

Customer service was not good at all. I ordered two vanilla iced coffees without ice. First, they put ice in them, and when I tasted the coffee, there was no taste of vanilla at all. I requested that they add vanilla to the drinks, but they didn't even look at us and asked us to proceed to the next counter. We waited there for over 15 minutes but received no response.
I had an amazing experience at the Tim Hortons drive-thru, thanks to Valery. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we pulled up. Unlike many rushed drive-thru experiences, Valery made sure we didn’t feel hurried and took the time to ensure we had everything we needed — including extra condiments for our coffee. Her warm attitude and attention to detail truly stood out. It’s rare to see such genuine customer service, and Valery definitely made our day better. Great job, and thank you, Valery!
Great location right in the heart of Goderich! Super convenient with plenty of parking available—no circling the block or squeezing into tight spots. The Drive-Thru is a huge plus, especially when you're on the go. Fast service, easy access, and a clean setup. Definitely a go-to spot when you're in town!
there were at least five people on the floor, no cars in the DT, but still somehow nobody came up to help the boy at the storefront who is VERY clearly still a trainee. he was doing great, but had to remake our drinks because nobody was there to show him how some things are done. it's not fair to him or the customers.
Wanted to compliment the well mannered young lady who waited on us. Apologies I didn’t catch their name. So very polite and friendly. Started our day off on a great note. Great iced coffee too.
The drive-thru is always amazing and quick. But should you choose to go inside it always seems there is 13 people working drives through and one person working till no matter how many people are in line I understand that drives through is one of the busiest spots but when there's people waiting in line and they're paying customers as well I think they should receive the same amount of customer service. This is not to take away from the workers that would more say that management should know to move people to the front to help push the customers through in a timely manner.
I'll be honest, the lady who handed out my food once it was ready was kind of rude. However, the other staff seemed pleasant and I had no issues with the food.

First ordered online came to pick up my food everything was great but the people who say less greasy than other places I'd say it's about the same as other Caesars. I had also noticed that the restaurant isn't really wheelchair accessible... now that's something that's a bit crazy to me in 2024.
Super customer service. I have ordered several times and have always been blown away by how friendly the staff were and how quickly the food was made. The pizza was delicious each time.

Asked for multiple fresh pizzas and agreed to wait atleast 10 minutes for them, when the pizzas were done and boxed a fresh one was swapped and we were givin an older cold pizza from the shelf mixed in with my order. While a young male worker took one of the fresh ones for himself that we requested made.

We went to have breakfast for 2 adults on a Saturday morning. The ambiance was cool, there was a train at the ceiling running on the tracks and it was an open concept restaurant with stools at the counter.
Server was friendly and pleasant and got our orders in quickly. We ordered coffees, stuffed French toast with hash brown and the special of prime rib and Pico de gallo omelet with hash brown as well.
The portions were fair, not too big and small. The food was average. My partner thought there was no Pico de gallo in the omelet or if there was, it was very little. The French toast was okay, but slightly disappointed as I expected to be more stuffed than what it actually was, with just one slice of meat and slice of cheddar. The hash brown with the onions were the best part of the meal.
The coffee tasted terrible and had an old taste mixed that we can't quite explain. Overall it was average, price point was slightly high for the food. The atmosphere was cool though and seems like a local hot spot.

Great food. Great service. Friendly atmosphere. We were in Goderich for the Mustang Cruise and ended up at Steve and Mary's quite by chance. Happened by it when we were checking out the downtown big nickel "square". Really enjoyed everything and the staff make you feel like family. Good sized portions, quality food. Everything was unexpectedly high end. Only knock was the fries should have been cooked more, were still a bit raw. Otherwise would have been a sure 5 star review. But we still enjoyed it so much we came back for breakfast the next morning. Did not disappoint. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

This place seems to be a heart of the community! When we first entered, their was a large group talking in the middle of the place, and the cashier was cashing someone else out. We got to admire the entrance before we were seated and given lots of time to look over the menu. After we had ordered, we had coffee while w waited for our sandwich’s to be done. With this place being a heart of the community, it comes with lots of people. There were some times were I felt it was a bit loud between other’s conversations and the train they have driving on loop on the ceiling. Our sandwich’s were amazing! The Philly cheese steak was served on a white sub bun, and the turkey clubhouse was served on toasted whole wheat. Personally I didn’t care for the French fries, they tasted of a too much oil and didn’t have any crispy beds to them. The seasoning the fries were covered in tasted like too many things were trying to be the main flavour, and was too salty for my personal tastes.

Rotary Cove Beach in Goderich is a serene and popular destination offering crystal clear waters, soft sand, and stunning views of Lake Huron. So impressed with the upkeep of all the beaches along this area. So clean there is bathrooms, food, places, parks, lots to do. No one will be disappointed from swimming to picnics to playing ball to letting the dogs run in a special Designated area. Breathtaking views especially if you can catch a sunset.
Literally close to everything. There is a lot of parking, and even though there was a lot of people there it didn’t feel super busy. Highly recommend hitting the beaches!

This was our last stop on our road trip to Stratford and Goderich (Saturday, August 16, 2025). The beach was pretty crowded, but there was more parking here than at the Main Beach. Parking was $6 an hour and free after 5 p.m. Fortunately we got there late and only had to pay for an hour. The beach is a mixture of sand and rock, so bring something to wear on your feet. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed our walk along the boardwalk and up to the Lookout Point. The water of Lake Huron was very clean & crystal clear! Highly recommend driving the extra hour to get here from Stratford. So beautiful!! 😊👍💜

The water, the beach, everything thing was beautiful. The water looked so blue in the distance, it was like you were on an island. Lots of benches and places to sit for picnics, BBQs, or just to enjoy the view. There's a nice little place there that sells many flavours of ice cream and other snacks. I will definitely be bringing my family back here!!

I love my town and our shoreline! Well kept and maintained. Lots of room for the busy summer. Would love to see some more sunken ships to look at.
Clean beach (sand + bit rocky) and water. The whole area is kept nice and beautiful. You can witness one of the best sunsets from this area.
St. Christopher's Beach is a fantastic spot for a day out! There's plenty of parking, so you won't have trouble finding a spot. The park is well-maintained with a lovely boardwalk that offers a scenic stroll along the shoreline. Watching sunsets here is truly magical, and the golden hour light is incredible. You can enjoy swimming or rent a canoe for some water fun. It's a great place to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Nice beach although it's not that large. Still a nice place to visit for some sun and a little beach time! The salt factory next to the beach makes the water feel a bit more like your in the Caribbean.

We visited this Western restaurant in Goldridge after seeing its high Google reviews. There were three of us, and they do have a menu with kids’ options, which was convenient. The service was fairly quick, and the atmosphere inside felt relaxing, giving off a nice laid-back vibe.
The food itself was okay — not bad, but portions weren’t very generous. The highlight for me was definitely the fries; they were extra crunchy and really tasty. Service overall was just average, nothing exceptional.
Overall, I’d give it four stars. A decent spot if you’re in the area, with a pleasant environment and some good bites.
Very kind service. Our server, Jacqui, was very pleasant and nice, and gave us a great experience. I had the pan seared salmon and poutine side, and both were great. The salmon's sides could have used some extra seasoning, but the fish itself was amazing. Gravy and fries were perfect. Drinks were good quality.

Great little spot. Place was hopping when we went on a cold, damp spring day. Seemed to be primarily local people, so that speaks to the quality and price of the food.
I had the butchers burger with a side of smoky Mac and cheese. The burger is obviously of butcher quality (from nearby Shanahan's). It had a nice "bite" to it. Just the right amount of char. Fantastic burger. The smokey mac is worth the upgrade, you can taste the smoke as an under-flavor that doesn't overpower. We also had the taco salad, which was no doubt prepared with care, generously portioned (including the cheese and protein), and the flavor was "bang on" she says.
We ordered a fish and chips and a taco salad. Both were excellent. We would recommend this place for sure.
Staff warned us ahead of time but the patio shouldn’t be open until they deal with the wasp infestation. We couldn’t drink our milkshakes, the only highlight, because of them. My friend had “the worst fish and chips he’s ever had” and my skillet had weird seasoning. To top it off, they played 2010s club bangers non-stop. Friendly staff

Goderich is my home, and a lovely place to visit! Lots of sites to see and has a great waterfront and beach for visiting in the summer. The courthouse Square has been revitalized since the tornado and has lots of shops to visit.. come visit Canada‘s prettiest town!

Nice area to take a walk and enjoy the view. There are many stores, art gallery, bookstore, ice cream shop and other random shops in the area that you can browse.
It’s a nice place to set up the concert stage and it’s accessible from anywhere since it’s in the centre of the town.

Spectacular. Beautifully preserved and well maintained. The Saturday morning farmers market is not to be missed, we only wish we could've stayed for the Sunday morning Flea Market. The shops are quaint and everything you need can be found somewhere in the square. The shop keepers are super friendly and make you feel like an old friend. The town's folk treat everyone like they're part of the town. There are no strangers in Goderich, just friends you haven't yet met and Courthouse park is at the center of it all.
The park was redone after the Tornado of 2011. The landscaping is very beautiful and invites one to stop and have a seat amongst the flowering trees and shrubs or sit and enjoy a meal bought from one of the restaurants, bakery or ice cream parlor around the outside of the park. The town puts on many enjoyable festivals here throughout the year.
Nice place for a walk, close to everything, very beautiful and quaint, located right in the centre of town, it was rebuilt in the mid 1900s after a tornado and they’ve done it some justice (no pun intended 🤪).
There’s also a little stage where concerts or gatherings are held on the other side.
Worth a visit if passing through.
The courthouse is famous for the events arranged by the town here. There’s a open stage and sitting chairs to view the events organized by this place. Spacious and place is greenery. We visited here around 10 pm after we Started from the Goderich beaches.

Tables are outside facing the water you can't beat the view!!! Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

We were by the pier area to visit and noticed this place at the side road. It's a local hole so we thought we would try it. The place only serves fish and chips. There is an outdoor area with benches, and a small eat in at the side that you can ask to open.
There is no washroom on site. The servers were friendly. It was less than 10 minutes wait as there were about 3 to 4 orders ahead of ours.
We had 2 orders of the fish and chips and 2 packets of tartar sauce. There are vinegar and salt flavours to choose from to top off the fish and chips. The fish portion is small, but it was cooked fresh, crispy and tasty. We asked for the smoked and malt vinegar for flavor, which they spray on the fish. The fries could be crisper. I had the onion and garlic flavour while he chose the dill salt.
I get the choosing of different flavours of vinegars and salts, but the spray amount they put on the fish I find isn't enough for myself and the same with the salt flavour for the fries. My partner had the dill salt and said he couldn't taste anything on his fries and was disappointed.
The place doesn't offer ketchup or tartar sauce for free or having malt vinegar on the side counter, compared to other restaurant establishments. It is 50 cents for a packet of tartar and 25 cents for a small packet of ketchup. I prefer having my own control of how much vinegar to put on my fish as opposed to someone spraying the flavour and same goes for the salt as well. Food is average, would be nice if there was a choice of being able to add your own vinegar and having tartar sauce and ketchup for free.
This spot totally surprised me — in the best way. It has a laid-back, beachy vibe with an unbeatable view of the lake and the ships, and the feeling of enjoying fish and chips right by the water is just perfect. The place has character, warmth, and that honest charm you don’t find everywhere.
The food was fresh and tasty, the staff was friendly, and the prices were incredibly fair — which made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome and relaxed, like you’re soaking up summer with friends.
It may look unassuming from the outside, but it truly delivers a full experience: beautiful view, great food, good people, and genuine atmosphere. A must-visit in Goderich! ✨
Beautifully cooked haddock (would fresh local pickerel be an option?) and the fries were very good (if you're okay with the darker fry and level of oil saturation, which I am). Imaginative array of vinegars and salts -- it would be a good idea for the employees to know what some of the obscure titles mean (Magic, Black, etc.). Salt and vinegar application was on the light side. Friendly counter service. Peaceful location by the north dock. No shade. We'd happily go back for more.
This is the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Nothing was overly greasy. The fish flaked nicely, wasn’t mushy or too solid. Fries were fresh cut! Both were the real deal. We had 5 orders between our family and we all agreed. Way to go!

We ordered two Smash Burgers that as far I know weren’t Smash Burgers. There were no fried onions, a signature of a good smash burger, and it was dry. My friend ordered a Basic Burger which was way over cooked. Our server was sweet and attentive for just having started two days prior. It definitely had a good pub vibe and was welcoming but disappointed in the food.
I didn't even have the chance to try the food. We got there, seated and after approximately 10 minutes none of the waiters there came to our table. They were just talking to each other and they clearly saw us right in front of them. The restaurant had probably 2 tables with a couple of people and that's it. I had high expectations but it was incredibly disappointing. When we started to walk out of the restaurant, they actually looked at us and didn't say a thing.
Never Have I Ever been to Paddy O’Neils in the past 10 years and had such poor service and found out why our order was taking so long. there was no friggin cook on site. We only found out because we had to ask our server why it was taking so ping It took 2 trips to the bar to request service and where our food was before we were told they had to call in the cook. We paid our drink bill without finishing our drinks and walked out. I’m no hurry to return any time soon. As locals, do better. (Saturday at 2:30)
Cozy place. Nothing special about service or food, but wasn't bad at all. Strange way to get people in with $3.99 beers all day everyday, but it's only the first beer you order? Did I get that confused?
Normal pub setting. Live music was neat! Good artist Graham Bedard, construction really took away how lively I’m sure it gets. But pricey for some chicken fingers and bread though.

They renovated and removed the public soda fountain, so no free refills.
Their bicycle parking is in terrible condition and location. the rack and rocks feels like it'll damage my bicycle.
Besides those 2 things, the service and food is standard.
The service was fine, food was exactly what we expected at McDonald's.
However, this place is no longer wheelchair accessible. The wheelchair accessible entrance opens outwards, but once it is open it blocks the walkway. Bare minimum the walkway needs to be extended into the garden so a wheelchair can get past before the door is open. Ideally the door will be switched to open to the other side. On the other side of the building, the curb is too high to allow driving up.
Asked for a large fry, got home and pulled my fry out of the bag to find it barely half full. Waste of money. Will not be coming back. Looks like the Wingham McDonalds will have my service from now on.
I’ve come into the store a few times since there new renovations they all together need to work as a team I seen three people standing around and one person at the window stressed as all could be. Fast food can be tricky but my food didn’t need to sit on the counter for 25 mins where I can see it and then finally when someone comes to the counter for a split second you can try to get there attention. I’ve left this location before with out the ice cream I bought because it took too long, some people had to come in from there cars to get there ice cream and food they had been waiting for because it was taking 20 or more minutes! Please do better and work as a team so everyone can have a better work day and not be so stressed thank you!
Felt bad for the workers, it was SO busy, and they needed more help. One employee seemed lost and overwhelmed, wandering around, while the others tried their best to keep up.
Our fries were still frozen inside and the chicken sandwich was messy and gross.

If i could leave zero stars I would. We missed a toy in our happy meal, revived pickles and onions on our burgers that we order without and that had the ticket on there. This is completely frustrating and unacceptable and I am beyond disappointed this is terrible service. What tops it off is that the staff were extremely rude. When we brought up these issues we were met with a disrespectful response and tone. I expect more from a place that dominates the fast food industry
As a long haul truck driver, I have been across Canada & the United States. This McDonald's is top shelf in morning drive-thru. The ladies have got their speel down to an art. The staff here are outgoing, vivacious, always a smile on their face & really make your morning, as you order your coffee & breakfast to go. Well done & thanks 😊

Once the site of a Victorian-era resort, the park now offers a large sandy beach and well-maintained facilities. The area is primarily for RVs but also accommodates tents. Visitors can enjoy clean washrooms and easy access to the gorgeous waters and expansive shoreline.
It was amazing! Great camping sites, great views! Plenty of parking space, staff are nice! If u r here, go to the beach! 100% worth it! They got a playground for kids, most importantly dog friendly! You can bring them to the beach as well. In a word, it's perfect!🥰

Not a wilderness park by any stretch of the imagination, but handy for recreational vehicles to camp and day users for hiking and the beach.
The beach is pretty nice with soft sand on most areas, aside from cobblestone rock and driftwood.
Great area for rock hunters as the variety of rocks and stones is really astounding, apparently carried by glaciers.
We picked a full bag of garbage off the beach, although some of it may have washed ashore from Lake Huron.
The water off the beach is quite shallow for the first 50 meters or so, which keeps the water warmer than normal Lake Huron temperatures.
There are some decent hiking trails in the Park as well, and a nice camp store.
Overall a very pleasant spot, and opportune for those without a cottage or don’t want to afford a resort.
We very much enjoy our stays. There are no quiet hours at the park, and you might end up not sleeping well because of loud neighbours. A small sound machine and/or ear plugs can help if you are a light sleeper. Water shoes are a lifesaver at the beach. It's pretty rocky when you first enter. Water is gorgeous, though, and we spend full days at the beach. The showers, bathrooms and laundry facility make life so comfortable while camping.
This was our first camping trip of 2024 and it is now our favorite place to be!!! Beautiful scenery with miles of beach. The breathtaking Sunsets at the lookout point in Hudson section brings people together to take in the view, like a painting by Bob Ross himself. Thank you Point Farms for amazing memories made!! Point farms is in a beautiful location. The landscape changes alot depending on where you are in the park. The old farms trail was extremely beautiful and took you all around the park. The facilities were clean and well marked out. The park store was a decent size and had lots of park merchandise to buy. The campsite seemed very nice and clean.
Nice provincial park to visit for a couple of nights. The Old Farms Trail is an easy hike through some woodlands. The beach is nice (though a typical pebble shoreline in most parts of the water). The washroom buildings are very clean and well kept. The 'outhouse' buildings were pretty smelly but did have a sink area with running water. Campsites in Huron were fairly private and pleasant.
Red carpet welcoming of tree lined roadways into the park entrance. The drive is equally as calming & vibrant as the park with spectacular views of the Great Lake Huron!
White sands compliment the stunning views and miles of outstretched beach. Dog friendly (leashed) and sparse amenities at beach area. Small park store with souvenirs & clothing. No online registration required however, beach area closed due to capacity mid afternoon. No lifeguards on duty & due to rocky shores, need water shoes to battle rocky bottom and the enticing waves! Bring refreshments and enjoy the flavour of paradise!!! 🏖
We reserved group site 403. It has its own trail to the steps going to the beach. This section of beach is fairly private. Campground has a great store for supplies. Washrooms could have been cleaner. Would visit again.

The Menesetung Bridge, located in Goderich, Ontario, is a historic railway bridge that has been repurposed into a picturesque pedestrian walkway. One of the top places to visit when in Goderich.What a incredible view from the Menesetung Bridge. The Menesetung Bridge was the longest bridge in Ontario at the time of its construction and is a fine example of a typical Canadian Pacific Rail bridge. The seven spans each measure 104 feet in length and 12 feet in width, creating a total length of 750 feet. Parking is available at the base of the bridge.

This lovely trail is well-maintained. Easy to navigate with some amazing scenic views of the area. Unfortunately, the famous Bridge is still under construction and we weren't able to walk across it. Fingers crossed it will be completed by next year when we visit again.
Amazing! It's a well maintained wooden bridge. It's fantastic scenery from the bridge. You can overlook people fishing on the boat and canoeing. Some people rode through the bridge. We were there in a Saturday morning in September. It's not crowded. The parking is free with 3 hours limited. It's close to water front tourist area.
Part of the Tiger Dunlop trail. Free parking at the south end of the bridge- walk up the gravel path for a stunning view of the golf course on the right/east. Lots of birds.
The bridge is amazing and there are some historical signs.
On the left/west side, at the north end is a loop trail - no distance but I would say maybe 2km? It is mostly flat and easy to follow. It follows the river at first, so you can see (and hear) the salt mine facilitates. I thought it would bring us to a nice view of Lake Huron, but no. It’s all woods. There is an ancient oak tree with it’s story on a plaque. When you get back to the bridge you can continue north if desired.
Easy hike and beautiful scenery... That's a win win for me. It's a nice relaxing place with amazing views as a reward. The paths are wide and easy to walk. Bikes are allowed too.

Perfect day to walk and see a nice view of Lake Huron, parking is free ( big bonus! )... there are trails that you can enjoy after the bridge as well.
We walked here last July 2nd, and the view was super pretty. We even saw a beaver from the other side of the river swimming across. Just perfect for our afternoon delight.

What a bless to have the view from the bridge. The fall colour, fresh air, the shady trail, and the shallow river below for fishing. Another must go place in Goderich. Lots of parking on the entrance by the trail to the bridge. Short and easy way up there. Not crowded even on Sunday.
What a beautiful day for a walk on the bridge, they called for rain but we missed it. My friend and I enjoyed the beautiful view and met the sweetest lady who was camping near by, she told us about her travels. I think we were both in awe at her experiences, she was retired and just camping from place to place. Thanks for the wonderful, memorable day.

We visited the Huron Historic Gaol as part of our family trip to Goderich, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported back in time. The self-guided tour was well-organized, with informative signage and interactive displays that even kept our kids engaged and curious.
The architecture and preservation of the building are impressive. It’s amazing to see how much of the original structure and design has been maintained. The old cells, guard rooms, and courtroom gave us a real sense of what life was like in the 1800s—both for the prisoners and the staff who lived there. The stories of the inmates, especially those involving women and youth, were eye-opening and led to some great conversations with our older children about justice, history, and society.
What stood out the most was how the gaol is not just a historical site but also a deeply human one. It reflects the evolution of the Canadian justice system and how rehabilitation and human rights have progressed over time.

Great spot with loads of info about if you take the audio guide. Staff is really friendly as well. Well worth the price ( especially combined with the Huron Museum).
Lots of parking but be aware it does warm in there in summer ( lots of fans inside ).
Informative tour, they give you handheld devices where you punch in the number of the exhibit and you put it up to your ear so only you can hear, it's not loud enough to disturb other people's experience.
Some architectural details are very beautiful, especially in the center with the spiral staircase, the upper floor where the courtroom was and the Jail Masters house. Interesting design for the cells, a drab view for the incarcerated, but there were windows to let in some natural light.
Outside in the courtyards they have a garden which is now used for growing food for the local community soup kitchens. If you're into history, this is a worthwhile stop.
We came to visit this attraction in Goderich for a weekend visit on a Sunday afternoon. The admission price was fantastic and it is a self guided tour. One can add the audio portion for free, a device that you can listen to on your ear, punching in the 3 digit numbers scattered across the place.
The place is clean, well lit on a sunny day, taken care of and preserved well. It was recommended to start at the 3rd floor and work our way down, which we did.
The audio was fantastic because you listen to so much history and interesting facts about the belongings, the rooms, the prisoners, and people who ran the jail.
The place got busy as the time went one, but not so crowded as it is a smaller area. They have a small souvenir shop at the front where the admission is paid.
Highly recommend as a stop to visit in Goderich, ticket price is amazing, the building inside and outside are well maintained and an interesting history to be told. The self tour took about 1-1.5 hour, if taking time to listen to the audio and going room by room.

Small but fascinating historic site! The self-guided prison tour was really interesting, and the entry price was very reasonable. I highly recommend getting the combo pass for the museum — it made for a great day of exploring local history. Just be mindful that it closes early (4:30 pm), so plan your visit accordingly. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.
Get a piece of Canadian history, the Gaol was built between 1839 to 1842, the Gaol had prisons, small courtroom and a chapel , antique artifacts are displayed showing the piece of history, the entry fee is nominal and lot of parking spaces available free of cost.The Gaol tour will take kind of 20-25 mins. It is located 250 meters to the Huron Museum and near to the downtown.

So amazing the items on display are so priceless to see before my time the school had so many different bicycles amazing the massive train to the old horse buggys well worth a visit and the price is great you can while there get a pass for the jail tour it is with in walking distance or a 2 minute drive. The price for both was $12.50 vs $7.50 each.

The Huron County Museum is a wonderful place to explore and learn about the region’s history. A nice visit...my interest was their military exhibit which included an artillery piece and a Sherman Tank plus a LAV III. The full sized train was cool as well.

We visited the jail first and then headed to the museum — you can buy tickets for both right at the jail, which is super convenient. The museum was much bigger inside than I expected, with two floors full of interesting exhibits to explore. Lots of local history, artifacts, and displays that kept us engaged the whole time. We had a great time here and definitely recommend visiting both the jail and the museum together for full experience.
Visitied both the museum and Gaol at the same time, you need to spend 20 mins approx in both the sites, the museum is a must visit to know Canadian History, the ticket price are nominal and Helpdesk is very polite and helpful. Parking is available all around and near to the downtown.

A nice museum with so many things to see specially from Huron County. All the agricultural/farm equipment, bicycles, farm tools, military stuff and so much history from homes. The highlight? An entire coal steam engine (it is massive) inside. You can get in and feel the size of it.
There was a section for the salt mine which was still under construction but still open. The lady was so kind to walk us through what was available and explain how salt is mined in Goderich - works largest underground salt mine. I am so glad the brand that we purchase is mined in Goderich. Elbows Up!

A hidden gem inside the Shell gas station on Victoria Street North (Hwy 21). These guys are super friendly and helpful. I love that we have a great little Indian food option here in our small town. I always go for the aloo (potato) samosas with a variety of chutneys. Pictured also is the butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan. Orders usually take about 30 mins or so. They also offer a lot of delicious Indian snack foods!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this place. Upon entering, I was met with what seemed like racial profiling, and the owner was incredibly rude and arrogant. When I asked to add more toppings, he rudely pointed his palm at me and told me to wait—even though there were no other customers at the time. The rice portion was very small and dry, and unfortunately, this was the same issue I faced during my last visit, so I was expecting better quality, but it was not improved.
While he may be the owner, it’s important to remember that customer service and respect are key. When I requested a refund, he initially refused, but after I asked again, he reluctantly gave it. I took my receipt and left quickly. Based on this experience, I will not be returning. Straight went to subway after this and everything was fresh,cheap and perfecto.
This is a clean place and the food is good. Only downside is that they put way too much rice and way too little protein. We got extra protein small size for $2 and it came in a tiny cup where you normally put dressing. The large size is $4. For 2 people , it might be wise to get a regular size bowl, with a large portion of protein. Other than that the food was good. The girl taking our order at the cash register was really helpful in answering all our questions
I had the new twist and it was with turkey instead of ham with chipotle mango spice and it was delicious also love the great effort they put into making my Philly cheese which was excellent too 😊

We were camping at Point Farms PP for the weekend and love that this place is here - so close! And love that they have so many fun flavours of soft serve to choose from. And that they use good quality ice cream and don’t skimp on the quantity. We came here two different nights and both times there was a line - ordering is quick but be patient waiting for them to get what you ordered to you - it’s worth the wait. I’m sure the place can get very busy in summer and apparently they’re adding a mini golf course which could make it harder to park… regardless we’d definitely recommend everyone stop here for ice cream!

Almost missed this place as when we checked on map, we assumed it was a drive in theatre. But so glad we made it here rather than a US fast food chain nearby. Any day support local owned businesses.
Kids had cheesy fries - good fries and fairly good cheese sauce, didn’t taste CheezWiz. Mac and Cheese wedges. Again fairly good and freshly fried to order.
The Spicy Fries (were vegan/plant based) - were coated and not spicy to us. Even a spice averse person with us could easily handle it. The quantity good and again fried to order so they came out piping hot.
The Non Dairy / Vegan Sea Salt Caramel Coffee regular hard ice cream was very good. So glad SRDI keeps and the local dairy makes a vegan version. Made this vegan very happy.
Kids took quite a few pictures of the playground, large muskoka chair, the small plane, mini golf ($). Picnic benches were perfect for a warm spring day.

Stopped here for ice cream, loved it. They had several soft serve options and Shaw ice cream options. We had already eaten the price for food was very reasonable. They had a couple picnic tables in the front and a kids space in the back. Super cute. Staff was friendly and polite. I liked how they had a visual image of the sizes of the cones.
Funky spot with tasty food! The Chicken Caesar Wrap was so yummy, and their fries are amazing. Love all of the outdoor seating, and tons of space for kids to run around. A mini golf course onsite too!
Strawberry milkshake was delicious but cheese bites tasted like deep fried craft singles. Also, girls were very nice but would have been nice to get our order together rather than bits and pieces with others getting bits and pieces at a time.

The fish and chips portion was disappointingly small and underwhelming in quality. It tasted more like something you'd find in the freezer aisle at a grocery store than a freshly prepared meal. Definitely not worth the price.

My boyfriend ordered a Medium Rare ribeye steak for his dinner and the steak came out raw. He asked the server to have it recook and the kitchen still sent it back the same. It was so disappointing! Value vs. cost? Chuck’s has the value over cost. When considering a burger for lunch, Chuck’s has them all beat. The service on this occasion could have been a little better. Parking is a little tight.

We ordered the chicken teriyaki sizzler, which was absolutely amazing. I have gotten burgers there several times (my go-to) because they are excellent and well priced. I’m so glad o tried the sizzler this time, because it was awesome. Chucks is truly our favorite place to eat in Goderich!! Small town family charm!

This place has great food, great service and better prices on steak than buying it at the supermarket and cooking in yourself.

Peter and his team at Party 2 Bistro did an exceptional job catering our wedding! The staff were fantastic, going the extra mile to accommodate guests with allergies by providing special appetizers during the cocktail hour. The main courses were not only beautifully presented but also incredibly delicious, and there was so much food that I couldn’t finish my entire plate. As a chef myself, I had high expectations for the food on our special day, and Peter truly exceeded them. I wholeheartedly recommend Party 2 Bistro for any event you’re planning! Thank you to Peter and your staff for making our wedding day perfect!

This was a absolutely wonderful dining experience. The food was outstanding, we ordered the specials. The service was excellent and the staff were accommodating and friendly. There was live music which added the ambience but was not so loud that we couldn’t have a conversation. Would this place and come here again!
First time my family visited Goderich and we found this gem!
Immediately was greeted when we got there and we happened to be the first customers of the day as they just opened. The server was friendly and shared with us some places to visit while in town. Food was amazing! I would highly recommend this place going forward and I for sure will be back myself.
Wonderful service. Food was very tasty but maybe a little overly complicated. The duck breast was cooked properly, the potatoes were good, a little more grease on the plate than I'd prefer.
Absolutely delicious dinner! I had the Lobster Mac and Cheese with Pear Salad and my husband tried the Maple Bacon Pierogis. Warm and friendly service. Located in the main square in Downtown Goderich.

Good dinner experience with all different dishes we ordered. Kids ordered Enchiladas and bistro beef 🥩 burgers. Chicken wraps were also testy. It was a little bit pricy for main dishes considering the small portions. Service was good and professional.

This was our second visit to Goderich and our second visit to Part II Bistro. The food was very tasty and the servings were of a good size to satisfy a hungry eater. I chose pear salad and stuffed chicken breast. If you don't like garlic tho, beware! Good presentation for the mains.
The service was friendly and prompt, with check ups for both starter and main.
The restaurant is quite small so I recommend making a reservation.

The Park Theatre is a charming old-timey movie theater located in a small town, offering both 3D and standard screens for first-run flicks. That’s the best deal you’re going to get these days so do yourself a favour and support this absolutely fabulous little local theatre and have a great time while you’re at it!

Came from out of town near Windsor Ontario! Was very impressed by the little theatre! Was so retro yet so well kept! The video quality was great, the staff was friendly and the popcorn was great! Was shocked that theirs 400 seats between the 2 theatre rooms!

The Park Theatre is a great place to see a movie. It’s a classic rural theatre with a box office and small concession stand. Prices are very inexpensive and the value is great. The theatres have been updated and are modern and comfortable. If you love small town movie theatres and movie watching support this gem.

My partner and I come here quite often as it's the only sushi place in town but it really has cheaped out. The sushi is never put together properly falls apart and a mess to begin with. I've been getting more and more disappointed but I don't think I'll be back after this. I got the green dragon with no crab and two of the pieces were just straight tail. I also got two avocado and cucumber rolls and they had the smallest pieces of cucumber and the avocado was basically mush. Not to mention i also found a hair in my sushi! The owner is super sweet but not worth the quality of the food here.

We ordered the poke rice bowl to taken out and expected a bowl and filling meal for 15 dollar.
Unfortunately, the portion of rice was absolutely minuscule and in a ketchup pott, and then there was a little salad and salmon. It was more of a snack than a meal.
You would need 2-3 of those poke bowls to fill your stomach, and at 15 dollar each I was absolutely appalled and demanded more food.
The owners were gracious enough to add some California rolls for free after I complained , so that there was enough food.
Still, I certainly would not recommend getting a poke ball for take out, unless you are into 15 dollar snacks for take out.
Dining at this establishment was an absolute delight! The chef's kindness shines through in every dish, and the presentation is simply out of this world. A truly amazing culinary experience!
Came here for dinner after a hike. All of the food was delicious and the service was great! We got sushi and the salmon teriyaki. The portions were generous too. We’ll definitely be back!
Hands down the best sushi I’ve had in awhile! The fish was super fresh, the rolls were packed with flavor, and everything came out looking amazing. You can really tell the chefs care about what they’re doing.
The vibe of the place is awesome too—clean, cozy, and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and helpful as well.
What I loved most was how the spicy rolls and the chicken teriyaki were done.
Overall, this is my new go-to sushi spot. If you love sushi, you’ll be blown away. If you’re new to it, this is the perfect place to start. I’ll 100% be back!

We made a day trip to Goderich and decided to try the Chinese restaurant in town. We only ordered takeout so I can't comment on the atmosphere. It seems tho they only do takeouts and no dine in. We ordered an egg roll and an order of the chicken wings to go. It was good. The chicken wings were very well seasoned and the batter has a very nice crunch. The portion size is generous, there were more than 10 wings. I was licking my fingers clean. We didn't get a chance to try their other dishes, I assume they are decent because the restaurant was buzzing with business. While we wait for our order, their phone was ringing nonstop with takeout orders. I'm happy to see that.
They only offer take out but for a small town Chinese restaurant it was great. Henry, the host/cashier was hospitable and very pleasant to deal with. The food was really good. Great experience and will definitely order from them again.
Delicious food, friendly service – just hard to find right now
We visited Wing Hong Restaurant while in Goderich, and the food was excellent! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and freshly prepared. The service was friendly and efficient, making the experience very enjoyable overall.
However, it was extremely difficult to find the entrance due to ongoing construction in the area. The restaurant is currently surrounded by fencing, and as first-time visitors, we really had to search to figure out where to go. They’re also not offering in-house dining at the moment because of this, which is completely understandable.
None of this is the restaurant’s fault—it’s just unfortunate that the construction is affecting the overall experience. Still, if you're in the area and looking for great takeout, Wing Hong is definitely worth it! Just be prepared to navigate a bit to find the entrance.

Quaint little delhi that serves lunch specials Monday through Friday. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating along with a restroom. The place is clean and the staff are pleasant. It has a gift section and offers a selection of baked goods. It is ground level making it accessible for wheelchairs although there are is no automatic door .The bathroom is accessible, however it is somewhat tight to maneuver throughout the building and the same with the parking lot.
One of the BEST hidden gems in Goderich. They have the best home cooking, baking, and unique items (purses, mugs, candles, wall art, and other wonderful trinkets). As well, the staff is always so warm and friendly! I have never once had a bad experience with any of the food, products, or staff there. I reccomend to anyone visiting in town that's looking for an affordable place to have home cooking and great souvenirs to bring back.

We will likely never order from Boston Pizza ever again. We ordered a Honey Dill Chicken Bowl, and a Jambalaya Fettucini - and both orders were missing significant number of ingredients. The Honey Dill Chicken did not come with guacamole or honey dill sauce - and it was not very appetizing. The Jambalaya did not include any shrimp, and green onion - and the chicken, tomatoes, and green peppers that it did have were laughably tiny - see image of what was received vs. the image on the website. All this for $50+!!! We ordered this for pickup and didn't realize everything that was missing until we got home. If you're going to charge $20+ for a mediocre salad bowl and a bland pasta dish, at least get the ingredients right. This really gets me irrationally angry.
Goderich Boston Pizza is a lovely restaurant, but we came on a very busy Saturday night where the bar side was booked for an event. While we didn’t book ahead, we choose to wait for a table (we’re told 30 minutes, ended up being around 10 minutes).
Once we were seated, it did take our server a little bit to both bring drinks and take our order, but I could see they were busy with large groups that came in before us.
The food was amazing, I thought the fries portion with my sandwich were slight small (maybe it was the big plate making it look smaller) but overall I enjoyed the Nashville sandwich!
It would be beneficial for this business to post the correct hours on their door/Google maps. We arrived on Sun 10 Aug at around 11:15P to find the restaurant closed despite their hours being advertised as open-12:00A. We called the restaurant to confirm its closure, and were told by the server who answered that they closed at 11:00P.

My husband, one year old and I went for supper here tonight. We were sat quickly and greeted quickly with drinks.

We ordered and 20 minutes later we got our food along with a table of 13 who was next to us who had the same sever. The server had been to that table 4x before even batting an eye at us. We didn’t get drink refills until we asked the runner who brought us our food who quickly got us our refills.
Our server didn’t clear the table after our starter someone else did because she couldn’t be bothered.

Our waitress was nice enough and apologized for the inconvenience, and we have sympathy for her. But as a whole.. with kitchen staff etc, it's a bit of a disaster. Kitchen staff and management failed tonight.

If we could give less than a one star we would. Our group has been going to bowl for several years at the Little Bowl. Yesterday we were shocked to be told our regular two games of bowling were no longer charged by the game but by the hour. Our biggest upset was that we were not informed the change prior to bowling only when about to pay. It's a terrible way to do business. Our bowling adventure went from fun and affordable to unhappy and unaffordable with this new (and we hardly think sustainable) change to customer charges. The cost almost became triple to what we have paid over the last several years. Very, very disappointing and we will not be able to afford to come back.

I just had my sons birthday party at this location and honestly it was the worse experience of my life
I booked an inside party because of the heat lately and when I get here I find out the AC is broken no warning no phone call so Imagine my surprise when I come in with 10 kids who are 5 and 6 sweating their buts off. It was hotter inside tha. Outside during the heat wave. Within 30 minutes I had 10 crying kids because they were too hot.
I also went to little bowl because they offer the and i qoute "Looking for Assistance or a Party Hostess? Don’t fret, we’ve got you covered! Add just $5 per person to any Package, and we’ll handle everything for you, from start to finish. Our professional hostess will attend to your guests, guide the kids through fun activities, coordinate the food, drinks, cake, and more. Relax and enjoy the celebration" I asked for it paid for it and i did everything myself. You only had one worker on.
Than our party is wrapping up at 3 and the room was already being taken over by another party prior to 3 so we had to rush to clean and get multiple kids out
Unprofessional staff and poor communication regarding prices and use of gift cards. Has changed alot since new ownership. Very different vibe from what it used to be.
Decent 5 pin alley. Took my 2 kids and bowled one game which took about 30 minutes and cost $36 so not the cheapest entertainment around. Can spend more time and better value at the museum and jail.
Great lottle bowling place! Went on saturday the lights were out glow lights going had a couple drinks but can only do 5 pin here. Cozy place seems to be where the young adults hang out since goderich has no bars to be in late at night lol!!!

Located in the picturesque town of Goderich on Ontario's West Coast, Cedar Lodge Motel offers modern and clean rooms with amenities such as free WiFi, a heated indoor pool, a hot tub, and an exercise room. The motel is conveniently situated near Lake Huron and is just a short drive away from various attractions and shopping areas. Guests have praised the friendly and accommodating staff who provide excellent service.
Easy check in and out. Motel was a little dated on the outside. The non smoking queen room, also out of date, was clean, had a microwave and small fridge, which were great. Small coffee maker, but we did not use.
The bed was comfortable, but too soft for our liking. The bathroom was renovated nicely, modern and chic. Water pressure was good and enough towels were provided. They had basic toiletries and they smelled good.
On a separate building at the front facing the road, there's a cold pool, hot tub and sauna, which we used and really liked the amneties included. You have to ask for extra towels at the front desk area.
The motel is centrally located; stores, attractions, and downtown area were all nearby, some walkable if one chose to do so.
Overall would definitely recommend to stay here. It wasn't busy when we went as a couple during end of May, but can only imagine how busy it gets during the summer season.

We love this place! Always stay here when we come to goderich. It’s very clean, beds are comfy. the fridges are really big and comes with a microwave! The tv has lots of channels to watch! Cheaper stay doesn’t necessarily mean they are bad and Cedar Lodge is a fair example of it. While looking for the budget stays just for the night, we came across this one. Trusting their website for amenities and reviews on various platforms online, we booked it and our expectations were not too high. Looking at the room and amenities upon arrival, we were rather surprised. The queen room was clean, decent and appropriately spacious with basic appliances in clean, working condition. The amenities like pool, hot tub and sauna were not top notch, but value for money for sure. Less crowded, so you can experience them at your own pace. Would go there again!
The bathrooms were very updated and the room had everything we needed. Unfortunately the air conditioning was unacceptable. The wall unit ran almost constantly to maintain a decent temperature. This caused me great lack of sleep. Probably some regular maintenance would have avoided this. I noticed many people had the same complaint up to 3 yrs ago, so nothing gets done to fix it.
Mary, who was working the office reception greeted me with friendliness and professionalism. The room was nice and clean, the bed very comfortable and bathroom was sparkling. Great job by Seanna in housekeeping. All in all my stay was very cozy and comfortable.
This place was an excellent find! Great location clean ,comfortable and complete value for your money. The pool was a good size water a comfortable temperature and clean. I’ve stayed at hotels in Niagara where the pool and jacuzzi were plain gross..
Clean , but expensive. Rooms are good size , keep in mind beds are standards ( doubles) NOT queens. Super noisy AC- it switches on and off constantly throughout the night and it is right above your head. When AC turns on it seems that some one stated his Harley right beside your bed.

Love the feeling and the vibes of the market. Locals are super friendly and nice to get back to truly Canadian vibes and hospitality. Produce is very fresh, and reasonably priced. Love the artisans soaps, jewlery and artwork. Also very appreciative of the town of Goderich maintaining that small town feeling. A lovely town center where the locals can all congregate. Goderich truly is the prettiest town in Canada. The market was also pet friendly! Which is always a huge plus in my books. (As a PSA if you are bringing your pets please clean up after your pets and yourself.)

Lions Harbour Park, located at the top of the hill overlooking Goderich's waterfront, offers a beautifully landscaped setting with numerous flowerbeds, a bandshell, picnic areas, and a playground. One of its main attractions is the stunning views of the harbor and salt mine. The park features unique tree sculptures created from trees destroyed by a tornado in 2011. These totems depict Celtic characters in honor of the town's annual Celtic Festival.

Great park overlooking the Godrich Harbour. This park has been re-landscaped after the last tornado, and is now one of the most unique parks in Ontario. It boasts a beautiful vantage point to view the Harbour. The trees that were destroyed by the tornado have been carved into totems of Celtic characters as the town has a yearly Celtic Festival.
There is also a kids play area and a new washrooms.
We attended the Celtic Festival in Goderich and were rather disappointed. The music was good but for the price of admission, not so much. There was lots of kitsch to buy, some quality craftspeople hawking their wares. The food wagons were reasonably good with a variety of selections.
Sadly, there were few 'men in kilts', no highlands dancing or bagpipes to serenade us. All in all, a three out of five day.
A nice small park with an overview of Lake Huron. There are a number of historic plaques commemoration European history in the area. The pavilion is handy if the skies open up
Very beautiful Park with nice grass and a fun swing set. There are a few large wood carvings that are very interesting and there's also a public bathroom. P.S. There's a drink patio and restaurant right beside thw front large iron gates.
It was fantastic! We had a crazy fun time and were treated to beautiful music in the park today that just made it more genuine for the first visit. This is definitely a place I’ll be visiting again. I think the most amazing part of that park is the trees. In 2011 a tornado wiped through Goderich, some of these amazing tree statues were made from trees that were taken by the tornado. I don’t know who the artist/s is/are but they’re all amazing!
Nice park not far from downtown. Bathrooms weren't the best though. Otherwise the park is well maintained, with benches and swings and a play area for younger kids. Also has a bottle refilling station.
Beautiful little park with over views to the Salt mine and Goderich Cove Beach . Stairs to go down if u choose. And a great park for the kids to play on .

Nestled along the tranquil waters of the Maitland River, Maitland Valley Marina and Resort Park is a serene getaway for families seeking relaxation. The resort offers a 1,200-foot private beach, an exclusive Inlet Marina, and various amenities including a swimming pool and themed nights. Boaters can take advantage of full-service facilities such as fuel, pump out, and dockage services.
Took my two girls here to fish off the rocks. Although we didn't catch anything it was a great couple of hours spent. Saw a lot of 1ft long carp but they just weren't biting. It was nice the area has set aside parking for anglers to fish. Max limit is 3hrs so be aware of the signage which is posted. Nice way to spend an early morning.

If you're gonna charge $18 per launch I feel like cameras should be added to the launch parking lot. Trailer receiver pin was stolen in August. Just beware that you might come back unable to pull out your craft. Bayfield is free and never had anything stolen there. And add some bumpers to the dock!
But he has a boat there. Everyone's nice and great facilities are awesome. Would rather come to the marina than go to the public beach
It is a deep marina but the channels are a little tight. Bath/shower rooms are extremely clean. Pool is quite a walk, but it is clean and there are bathrooms and showers there also. Lots of grassy area with picnic tables. Take a shuttle into town or walk up the wooden steps about 3 stories through the woods. Gas, pumpout and ships store are available.
Not the most beautiful marina but the staff are great and it is a short walk into the beautiful town of Goderich. Also, the channel into the marina is quite tricky in a NW blow ... lots of waves to deal with, but just follow the markers into the channel.
Great spot for boats and family.

I LOVE harvey’s. it’s my favourite fast food restaurant. however this restaurant has let me down a few times. Today i ordered deep fried pickles and was shocked when i opened the box to find the saddest looking pickles i’ve ever seen. I usually get a full box of pickles, but i don’t know how someone saw these pickles and said this was acceptable to serve to a customer. I’m disappointed in the quality i received. i wish i had better things to say about this restaurant.
We stopped for lunch at this location, it was my friend's first time. Location was in a big parking lot not the most accessible, however it had nice decor outside, with chairs, tables and Lights. We walked inside it is split joint with a Swiss chalet. There was a small line, and it moved pretty fast. We ordered burger meals and shakes, they were pretty good speed wise. Very patient works, They put the 2 picked in the X shape, + Bonus points. Food was very tasty, shakes were good. We still have the Mini Fry box in our window it got stuck. It was clean and fast, with good food. Would Recommend! (My Friend liked it.)

This location has been nothing but disappointing. This isn’t even the first time we’ve had bad experiences here before, and sadly nothing has changed. The food is always sloppy and cold, like nobody cares about quality. The staff don’t seem interested in getting orders right, and the manager is even worse rude, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to take responsibility when things go wrong. It feels like customer service just doesn’t matter at this location. After giving them multiple chances, I’m done. This Harvey’s has lost my trust for good.
Waited 20 minutes in drive thru and when I got my food, it was cold. 👍 im assuming cause it was sitting there while they cooked everyone elses food. Maybe change this process. my fault for thinking fast food would be fast i guess. I was late for work.

My family and I were staying at Point Farms, and we wanted to enjoy a good breakfast.
After we Google some options, The Bluewater Restaurant stood out.
What a great decision it was to come over.
The restaurant atmosphere was great.
We were assisted by a wonderful young female called Alyssa. She was super helpful, polite, friendly, and very efficient.
The food portions were generous and delicious.
A gentleman named Raymond came over to our table to check that everything was OK. He also offered a magic trick to my son.
In short words... Bluewater Restaurant is your must stop when visiting Goderich. Their service and food are amazing.

We had a great breakfast at Bluewater restaurant. Food was fresh and delicious, and the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Decor was maybe a little dated in places, but overall a clean and comfortable place for breakfast
Ate there twice while visiting Goderich and it was a pleasent experience both times. The staff was friendly and prompt. The only thing that stops it from being 5 star is that both times we went those of us that ordered an omelet got them overcooked and dry. But the Eggs Benedict was great and the atmosphere was fun, will definitely go again if the chance comes.
Serious throw back to when eating out didn't break bank. Solid food with reasonable prices. Decently large portions and we liked their coffee and tea too.

Went here today for Breakfast because I heard it has changed and was better then it was before. Overall ya it kinda has to me. Hard to get a parking spot for there is a small parking lot. But got in fine. Atmosphere felt old like the 50’s, also mostly aimed to the older crowd. Food came hot and was good, home fries were pretty bland, my friends coffee was hot. Service was good just not so talkative. I had the Magnificent Mcmillan. The temperature there was kinda humid and hot. Overall it was good.
Breakfast was good but nothing special. The 40-minute wait for eggs and toast was way too long. Wait staff were excellent.
Came for breakfast on our first morning in Goderich, so good we came back the next day. Food great, staff wonderful. Highly recommend coming to Bluewater Restaurant. The eggs benedict was the best 👌

After several times calling trying to order a pizza they finally answered the phone and said they weren’t open yet due to new fall hours . But shows online they were open . This is one reason I call not order on line because I would be waiting til the cows came home … I don’t even own cows . So from now on dominos is my place . We decided to order a pizza in our stay in Goderich as this was the only place open past 8 besides dominos. We were told it would be $8 to deliver 4km away but we still got delivery because we couldn't go get it. The delivery was quick but the pizza was sub par. Hardly any topping and barely any sauce. A pizza without sauce isn't pizza at all. The pepperonis were extremely blade too and could hardly taste the. Was basically $25 plus a tip for a large cheese and dough pie. Would not recommend.

We walked into this Location of subway, very convenient as it is right of Highway 21. Subway is usually pretty good, and this subway had a nice atmosphere with cool wall decor, fresh veggies and fun signs. We ordered our subs, service was excellent, fast, but forgetful at the end trying to remember the subs. Price was okay, however 2 cookies per person was pretty good. Nice variety of chips and pops. Rarely they have MTN DEW but this location did. ( MTN DEW Is my favourite pop.) Some interesting stains on the booths, and was a bit dirty. The bathroom was cold, even so it was clean. This subway location impressed me. Would recommend if you're craving a tasty sub. Also be CAREFUL the pop machine will attack you with Diet Pepsi!

Their oven not working. There was 2 working employees at the time. The male employee constantly wiping his nose with the side of his arm while making subs! Disgusting, if you have a runny nose stay home!!! I am editing this review bc it won’t let respond to the owners response. I can assure you the male employee WAS wiping his nose with his arm AND the oven was not working It was disgustingly obvious he has a cold. Judging by the reviews,as well as mine I would not recommend this location and thank you I will have a nice day
