The Nordik Spa is absolutely stunning and relaxing from the moment you step foot in it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming at the entrance, setting a great tone for the day. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to help you unwind. The hammocks, swinging egg chairs, lounges, saunas, warm and cold pools with waterfalls — all set in the middle of nature — made for an incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating experience. We loved every minute and will absolutely be returning. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to multiple disruptions regarding photography. According to the village code, guests are allowed to take photos and videos as long as they respect others’ privacy, which we fully adhered to. Every photo we took was either of ourselves or of empty areas with no one else in view. Still, we were approached multiple times and warned not to take pictures — once by the lady at the cash at the infinity pool bar who initially said no photos were allowed, then corrected herself and clarified that photos of ourselves were fine if no one else was in the shot. Yet shortly after, she had another employee come and warn us again, even though we were not violating the stated guidelines. This repeated interruption — especially when we were following the rules — detracted from an otherwise seamless and relaxing visit. If the policy is that absolutely no photos or videos are allowed, this should be made explicitly clear in the spa’s rules to avoid confusion and ensure a more enjoyable experience for guests. That aside, the spa itself is beautiful, peaceful, and definitely worth visiting!

What a wonderful day. Every part of our experience was lovely. The spa is clean and well thought out. Many different types of saunas, freezing cold, cool, and warm pools, waterfalls, hammocks and swaying chairs as well as Adirondack chairs galore. Bring a book and relax for hours! The majority of the spaces are quiet or silent spots. So peaceful. The colors of the leaves in the fall were spectacular. The landscaping was beautiful.

Beautifully location and staff is amazing. Sauna rituals are amazing and always enjoy a cold plunge after. There is so much to discover there; multiple different temp pools, multiple different types of saunas, great locations to sit and enjoy a drink or snack and tons of other things to do as well. Not to be dramatic, but the Nordik is my favourite spa in the world! The 15° cold plunge pool is my #1, the hourly sauna "rituals" are akin to group meditation, and I really enjoy the heated stone beds. The exfoliation areas are also 10/10! Clean, spacious, and lots of good options at many restaurants with different serving styles. The entire spa is excellent year round. Fall is probably my favourite. Enjoy 🙂

A perfect day of hot/cold/relax at this gorgeous spa! Facilities are immaculate (change room, relaxation rooms, pools, restaurants), food options and quality of food are delish! It was amazingly serene and nurturing for an extremely busy SPA. Nordic Spa have made client organization an art. I spent 5 hours here and never felt rushed. Please look at the services - there are many wonderful options. I say - do them all and take your time.

Loved our experience here. We tried the Aufguss experience which we thought we’d find funny, it was actually really intense. It got incredibly warm and the aromas were lovely. The staff were so nice and we tried the meat pizza at the bar which was really yummy!

We decided to go here to look around for something to do. They have so many homemade candles to choose from. Some of the stuff to look at included: leather purses, key chains, wallets, hemp products, Fanny packs, bracelets. Something for everyone. I enjoyed my stay.

Great little shop! I loved seeing the works in progress in the back of the shop. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, very clear covid policies. The candles themselves are impressive, be prepared for premium prices. A well-deserved 5 stars!

Very cool, amazing gift idea!! They can even refill candles (if you don't live too far) and I think that's awesome! Didn't actually buy a candle as I didn't have my wallet last time I was around so I have no product info. Customer service was great, pricing wasn't bad when you consider they are an independent company (I'm pretty sure) and the quality and designs on the candles were some of the most unique things I ever seen! Definitely pop in and check it out when in the area.

My experience was awesome! Folks are very friendly and helpful. They have an amazing selection of high quality candles, wonderful scented selections in addition to all kinds of holders. This place is truly a small gem of Old Chelsea. I highly recommend a visit. We walked out of there with several, makes a wonderful one of a kind gift. I’m sure to go back in the future.

We ordered two Chelsea Burgers with fries, upgrading one to sweet potato fries. The burgers were delicious and the sweet potato fries were excellent, but the regular fries were too oily and didn’t seem very fresh. I also had a virgin mojito, which was refreshing and tasty. Overall, the food was good, but the price felt quite high. On top of that, there was an extra charge for switching to sweet potato fries, which many other restaurants usually include at no extra cost.

Went for a drink this week, but I have been many times before. Full lineup of house craft, house alcohol for cocktails, and wine. Food in the past has been ok for pub food, with nothing to rave about. The main draw here used to be the pub itself, which is beautiful, and the patio, which is even more beautiful. Since my last visit they have expanded behind and made the place a must visit pub. There is now a massive smoker, an area where they make their own alcohol, a kids play area, a funky outdoor section for lounging, events, bands. It is a full attraction. Definitely worth visiting in the summer months.

We visited Chelsea Pub over the long weekend, so there was about an hour wait to get a table. Our group of 8 ordered a mix of burgers, fish and chips, poutine, and smoked meat sandwiches. The burgers were definitely the highlight and really tasty. The smoked meat and fish and chips were decent, but the poutine was a letdown. The fries just weren’t great and could really use an upgrade. On the bright side, the patio had a great vibe and added to the overall experience.

Main drag in Chelsea on reconciliation day was very busy. Table for 8 on the patio. Several of us had the Chelsea Pub burger with fries. Double patty with veggies and house burger sauce. Almost a smash burger. Nevertheless, it was mouth watering. Moist and well seasoned. Fries were great.otgers had the lovely huge fish and chips and others went for the nachos with no meat. Loads of veggies and cheese. To rinse it down we had their house beers from their Distillery in the back. Service was great. Could not complain about anything. You got to head out there and enjoy the fall colors. Cheers

Great spot to relax after a hike or bike ride in Gatineau Park. We stopped by Chelsea Pub and had a good overall experience. The Chelsea Burger was tasty, and the kids menu had solid options as well. The menu isn’t huge, but it covers enough ground for most tastes. Staff and servers were welcoming and friendly, though service was on the slower side — both for food and drinks. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re in a rush. We loved the outdoor seating, which was warm and cozy, and the indoor space is spacious and inviting — great for families or larger groups. It’s clear this is one of the most popular dining spots in the area for visitors. Beer selection is a highlight, with a good range from blondes to dark ambers, including a mix of local and imported options. Mixed drinks are more limited, but what they had was decent. All in all, we’d definitely return — especially after a day spent exploring the park

Love the location, sitting on the patio is just a great way enjoy the meal, in a vibrant environment. The menu is meant to please, nachos, poutine, burgers, salads, a bit of everything. I would recommend this place to have a beer, catch up with friends, and share a nachos. I was disappointed in my chelsea burger, the bun was over toasted - hard and falling in chunks. The patties were cooked to dry and not enough sauce to save it. Same with the bacon, it was little chunks. I don't enjoy onion, just personal and requested to without. It had onion. It was a gorgeous day, but super busy. The waitress didn't have much time to come and check on us during the whole meal. She only came to char us up when it was time to pay. I was not impressed by the food, only the gorgeous day saved it. I could see how this is a hub and popular due to it's location.

I liked this place overall ... it was more the atmosphere and location that I truly liked. As for the food ... I had their "chelsea burger" with a mix of salad and fries ... now the burger was truly magnificent 👌🏾 very tasty and properly made, however the fries were less than desirable, they were very thin and not crispy at all, lastly the side salad was also not very good. I do recommend this restaurant 👌🏾.

We have visited for the very first time today. Walked only on 1 easy trail so far: the sugarbush trail. It was picturesque, the walk itself was bery very easy. The parking near visitor centre was 100% full on a Friday morning :) at 11am :) so we went to P4, and found 2 last parking spots there :) today was perfect weather, perfect nature, amazing experience 💜👌

Delicious pizza! We had the spicy one with jalapeno, pepperoni and pineapple. They sell by the slice and have an ice cream counter! Price is affordable, huge slice and good quality. Beer and wine available too. And thank you for the Mexican lager as we waited for the pizza to be ready 😉

It was pure terror to drive from Chelsea to Ottawa South when the car was full of the flavours from LeBronx pizza. My mouth, my eyes were watering, and it took me a while to realize I was driving 140 because I was wanting the first bite so bad. And when it arrived, the first bite, and the ones following, pure joy. The slices were very, very generous, the same generosity for the ingredients, which were fresh and full of flavour. The crust - crunchy, tasteful. The staff was very, very friendly despite the late hour. I also noticed a fridge stacked with beer. Overall, a very nice surprise, I definitely recommend, and will add it to my Favourites list on Google Maps. A big CONGRATS!

We order the pepperoni pizza from them tonight and it was super tasty. The young woman at the counter was very nice and outgoing. The manager and or owner in the back working was also beyond nice and forgiving of our situation with a gift card. Would absolutely recommend to others.

When I was a child The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon depicted the perfect slice of pizza. Ever since watching that cartoon I was obsessed with finding and eating what seemed like the perfect slice of za. I dreamed of indulging in the culinary perfection those gnarly green toads loved so much. The TMNT pizza looked hot and always fresh, just enough pepperoni to go around, so perfectly cheesy and melty you can let the slice half flop half and half drip into your mouth. You would get to choose if you wanted to slurp or bite each sensational mouth full. However, this perfect pizza, this representation of childhood innocents, this dream of mine, always felt so, so far away. And I started to wonder if maybe I should give up on my dreams, give up on my innocence... it was just a cartoon after all. Deep in my heart and soul, my child-like curiosity and wonder had always kept a small flame for the pie of my dreams. As a young adult I went to New York City in the early 2000s. To my excitement I found the perfect slice of pizza does exist, and is exactly what the cartoon had promised! AND IT WAS ONLY 99 CENTS for a massive slice! Having my first slice of legit NY pizza was pure ecstasy - and I’m not talking about trashy pressies! Ever since this life long accomplishment, and possibly the most important thing I have ever done in my life was unlocked I’ve been looking for a solid New York style thin crust pizza in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.. and my friends, LeBronx Pizza in Chelsea Quebec knocks it out-of-the-park! Their pies are massively large in diameter, meaning massive surface area per slice! They are generous with cheese and toppings without overdoing it, and they turn them out quick fast which is how it should be. If you want an experience, if you want good food, if you want New York style thin crust pizza - and if you want to live, like you’ve never lived before - you will go to LeBrox Pizza, and you will never turn back. 10/10 would do again.

This pizza is easily the best thing within a 30km radius. The crust, toppings, cook on it is perfection. I've had it twice and so far the quality is consistent. Value...the price for the quality/quantity you can't beat.

My 2 nieces and I were delighted to discover this place! LeBronx Pizza is not in the middle of the busy area, it is relaxing, lots of parking, service is wonderful and the pizza was delicious! Les Saisons is the kind of café that makes you want to linger. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth that feels like visiting family. Cindy, the owner, has created something special here, and it’s clear in every detail: the way the staff know your name, are always up for a pleasant conversation, and they make one of the best matchas you’ll find in the Chelsea.

We came here for our book crawl. I had a caramel latte and a warmed ham sandwich. I loved them both so much. We came here to relax and enjoy the day. I really recommend it !!

Terrible service at this cafe. I ordered an apple cider from this place. On the sign it says $4.15 and that is not what they charged me. After telling them that and that the sign they have says $4.15 they just said "oh well that's our mistake". Not even offering me a refund or taking accountability for their mistake. The cider was not even that great. As someone that works customer service this was incredibly disrespectful. Also don't bother going to the bathroom. There is a window and everyone can see you doing your business. No privacy and the window was not able to go down. AWFUL PLACE

A fantastic little coffee shop with a cozy interior, ample outdoor seating, and delicious food and beverages! The pre-made breakfast sandwiches, with the potato and egg bake, were so tasty and filling. And the latte and hot chocolate were amazing as well. We will definitely be returning soon!

The owner/manager and entire staff are some of the friendliest, most personable, and genuinely efficient people I’ve ever encountered. Every visit feels special. They take pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. The food? Always amazing. I make a point to try something new every time, and I’ve never been disappointed. Whether it's pasta, seafood or one of their specials, everything is prepared with care and full of flavour. We come often since it’s only about 15 minutes away, but tonight’s visit was a little extra special — it was my birthday. Even though we were just there last week, my boyfriend told me to pick anywhere I wanted to go... and I didn’t hesitate. Mama Theresa’s was the only choice. That says it all. Whether you're looking for a relaxed, chill dinner spot or a place with a more upscale, polished vibe — this is it. They truly cater to all, and they do it with heart. Highly recommend. Always a 5 out of 5. No doubt.

The food was excellent, the filet was tough. The veal was fantastic. The tiramisu is not pleasant at all. It has no tiramisu flavors, it's on a flavor twist of its own. For sure this is a great place to return and eat and I would recommend it.

Food is always good! Perfect minestrone. We went on a Saturday and service was very slow. The host was very nice as always but the server was not attentive to our needs. Waited a long time to get served, waited a long time for drinks. We were celebrating a birthday and the person being celebrated was served last at every course of the meal! Love the food, not so much the experience... At that price level it should be better!

Absolutely perfect breakfast. Beautifully presented and amazing quality. Service and atmosphere were lovely and quaint with tasteful decor. Avocado and smoked salmon toast was delicious. The big Breakfast was plentiful and delicious also.

My wife and I had an outstanding lunch at Restaurant Tonique, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the patio offered a super relaxing vibe that we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Avocado Salmon Toast, and my wife had the Avocado Toast, and both dishes were fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Adding to the wonderful meal was the excellent service. The waitresses were great, and the entire atmosphere felt both beautiful and relaxing. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious and memorable lunch in a serene setting.

Don’t believe the good reviews — this place was a huge disappointment. The food was awful, super oily, tasteless, and completely overpriced. We waited 50 minutes for a simple breakfast plate, which ended up being the worst breakfast I’ve had in a long time! The service was incredibly slow and careless. Save your time and money — I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The place was lovely with a beautiful view, and the waitress was kind and attentive to our dietary restrictions. However, we faced an issue with finding small pieces of black plastic in one of our smoothies. When we informed the waitress, I was not satisfied with her reaction, which was simply, Sorry, I don't know what that is.Despite the pleasant atmosphere and otherwise good service, this incident upset us. We hope they can improve its quality control and staff training to ensure better handling of such situations in the future.

Had the eggs royale and a mixed juice. Staff was super friendly and nice. Food was very good. Love all the flowers around the place. So if you driving through Chelsea 9-14 easy to stop by with own parking.

Cute spot but you may as well walk up the street to Palmier. We waited about 40 minutes for our food and the server never came by to check on us once either before or after we got our food. Feedback on the food: potatoes were wet. Not crispy, not roasted, just wet. And if you're going to serve salad that's dressed, at least toss it. Don't plop it on top. There's no room on the plate to toss it ourselves. The breakfast sandwich is 80% bread, and pretty bland. Nice patio I guess.

This park is absolutely wonderful! You'll love the stunning views it offers. It’s a perfect spot for a stroll, a hike, a jog, or even a bike ride. There’s so much to explore here, from interesting monuments to informative signs and beautiful sights. Plus, the location gives you breathtaking scenes of the river and Parliament Hill. It's truly a delightful place to spend some time!

Winterlude is a very well organized event. Although the lines to the tube were very long (30 min at 9:30, 45 min at 10:00 and it was getting longer); we had a lot of fun. Other than the tube (go downhill on a doughnut), we also went to a labyrinth and an obstacle course. All very fun and organized.

Beautiful during the fall as all the trees change colors. It's an open field park too so plenty of space for all activities outdoors... just beware of the large amounts of duck poop

Beautiful and big park. But nothing for toddlers? Exist a bike trail, a long one. Also I found tables for picnic . The beach access is not marked and was a bit dirty with junk. The park doesn’t have anymore the big sculptures.

My family and I went to this park to enjoy the winterlude festival. There were so many activities and it was lovely to be present there. The snow tubing was worth the wait and that was my first winter activity. Volunteers are doing a great job! Keeep it up guys. Wait time for each activity is bit longer other than that it was great. Music was fun too and I played drums kinda thingy with two twins who were playing it. Such an amazing experience!!!!

Gorgeous park with beautiful views. It has a lot to see, monuments, information and sights. There could be some upkeeping that’s done to make it even better (benches, water fountains, lighting posts, picnic tables, etc.) and replacing some of the older fixtures with something that’s not corroded by winter

Large and beautiful waterfront park with some wildlife. We visited it at the beginning of June when the installation with flower sculptures wasn’t opened yet. But it was interesting to look at these sculptures being made. I liked Canadian flower sculptures more than the similar ones in Dubai.

Adorable little venue for music and the arts. Enjoyed the kirtan there today!

I loved performing at this venue. Great sound and friendly hospitable people. We played a late afternoon show on a Sunday and had good sized audience. Look forward to going back there.

Beautiful rental space. Very well appointed. Edited to add: We were roughly 40 people, and we had plenty of space. There is a fully functional kitchen, which is very helpful. My only concern is that the site is not accessible for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair. I do not know the exact price for the evening, but I recall the organizer being quite happy with price.

It is a great small gallery next to the Church in Chelsea where local artists exhibit and sell their art. I enjoyed their summer exhibit. On Thursday, during the Farmer's market, it is a dynamic place to be. A great little outing to do.

There is a great exhibit of black and white prints by Deidre Hierlihy right now which are very affordable. I really enjoyed looking at the artists' studios and seeing some of them at work. The boutique has unique pieces - an excellent place to buy gifts from local artists.

This is a place where local artists work, and it is located in an old church rectory. St. Stephen's church, which is still active, sits right beside it. You can visit the gallery and that same time you can speak to the artists on their break or you can watch them work. The artists have small workshops here. There are multiple artists. There is a gallery and a gift shop. It is small rustic. It's for local artists and for tourists. Sometimes there are artit expositions outside, in the summer, that are quite popular. Many things to sell and buy.

What a treat! Enjoyed a sensational Bianca pizza, followed by a perfect latte and a heavenly caramel banana tart. I was planning on saving a bite of tart for my friend, but I had to have the whole thing; it was too good to stop! I had to get another one for her. When she got back and announced she was full but wanted a taste, she went to have just a bite of her tart and ended up eating the whole thing because it was SO good! The decor is beautiful and welcoming. And this may sound odd, but I love the artwork on the pizza box and latte cup! A lovely, unique touch. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be coming back here!

Biscotti & Cie is a charming little spot in Chelsea QC. I come here regularly with my family, and the staff is always so friendly. Their cappuccino is my go-to, and it never disappoints. We also tried their wood-fired pizza around noon—it was amazing! A perfect place to relax and enjoy good food. Highly recommend!

The only negative experience about this popular local hangout is there is only two unisex washroom. It seems there are always a line up during peak hours.

Love this cute little gourmet cafe in the heart of Chelsea, right next to La Cigale ice cream shop. I just happened to pass by and was immediately charmed by the warm décor and the irresistible aroma of fresh pastries. The coffee was excellent, the panini perfectly prepared, the cannolis truly unforgettable, and the butter tarts with fresh fruit and cream absolutely scrumptious. They also have wood oven pizza baked on site — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even the packaging was top notch. A delightful spot that combines cozy atmosphere with top-notch flavors — I’ll definitely be back!

Minigolf course has some fun and challenging holes, beautiful setting with a fountain and waterfall, very calming and nice to look around while you're waiting for your turn. A couple of holes have the potential to get your ball stuck under some overhangs, and of course mine did so I had to crawl around to get it out, a bit annoying. Other than that, great and clean place. Every time we go by seems to be busy, recommend going on off days.

The course is very well maintained and is both challenging for the more advanced golfer but short enough so that it's enjoyable by beginners. It was a great place to go with friends and enjoy a quick round of par 3 golf!

Loved the pizza here! hands down the closest I’ve found to authentic Italian-style pizza outside of Italy in Ottawa/Hull area. The crust was light and crisp, and the flavors were spot on. There’s also a cozy little campfire out front, which is a great touch, especially in colder weather. It is a bit on the pricier side for the portion sizes, but the quality makes up for it. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and I’m happy to support a local spot that clearly takes pride in what they serve. Also really appreciate how careful the team was with my nut allergy. they were accommodating and reassuring throughout the experience. Definitely recommend for anyone craving real authentic Italian pizza!

We were visiting Ottawa. Had heard about Roberto’s. 15-20 min from Ottawa. So we went today. Be careful of their opening hours. Beautiful small establishment, well organized, food delicious, good variety of roman pizza. Unbelievable desserts and sweet. A bit pricey. Great service, beautiful terraces. If it were near our house we would def go back. 5-6 parking spots. Eat in or out. I would highly recommend.

I really love the atmosphere here. The staff are among the best I’ve ever seen — especially the one who works at the pastry and coffee counter. The place gives off a warm and welcoming vibe, and it truly feels like being at home. The service was good, although it took a little while for the pizza to be ready. The taste of the pizza was quite unique and different for me — in a good way. The only downside is the lack of private parking, which can be a bit inconvenient. In spring and summer, the outdoor seating area is absolutely lovely — especially with the classical music they play, which completely changes your mood and makes the experience even more enjoyable.

I’d give it a solid 9/10 for taste. That said, like many other reviews have pointed out, two things brought the overall experience down: 1. The price is hard to justify. $7-$8 for a slice — which I’d barely call a slice given how small it was — is pretty outrageous. 2. The service doesn’t match the price point. The cashier activated the payment terminal and then walked away, leaving us unsure whether the transaction was complete or if we’d get a receipt. We were also surprised to learn that we had to pick up our own trays and plates for the pizza to be brought to the table — the process felt a bit unclear and disorganized. Will we come back? Probably not. While the pizza itself is tasty, it’s hard to overlook the price and the overall service experience. There are quite a few other places in town offering similar or even better quality at a much more reasonable value. Still, it’s worth trying at least once.

Stumbled upon this place after going for a small hike in the woods not far from it. The food was absolutely delicious,so fresh and great variety. Coffee was fantastic. The employees were helpful and very sweet. Highly recommend and will most certainly be back!

Fish & ships and lobster “guedilles” were delicious and priced well. Generous quantities as well. Real French fries always makes a huge difference. My only (big) concern is the calamari plate: way overpriced (20$ !!!) given the quality and quantity. Looks like frozen squid rings from Costco to me. Was fresh but I can do way better at home so 2 stars were lost here. For excellent friend calamari at decent price please see my other reviews!

After a nice day cross country skiing in Gatineau park, we were famished and looking for a tasty meal. We were very pleased with this gem of a restaurant. Every item we ordered was delicious. The service was perfect - prompt, courteous, but not pushy. The decor was simple, but neat and spotlessly clean. The prices were reasonable. We decided to bring home takeout for dinner, and it was tasty too. We're really looking forward to coming back soon. No hesitation to highly recommend! Thank you for a good meal.

I orders a burger that was heated up directly from frozen was disgusting with a brown piece of lettuce. Fries were chewy on the outside and not seasoned meaning its frozen as well..Also ordered a beer for 10$!! And they were out of the specific one and just didn't give me anything! Not ordering again very disappointed… Im a cook myself at a restaurant and this should put you to shame to give this out.. and no coleslaw

We passed by here for lunch on our way home from skiing. Very friendly restaurant and family atmosphere. We ordered fish n chips and fish burgers. The fishes are excellent and we had a fulfilling meal.

Line’s food is a religious experience. Literally everything I’ve tried has been super fresh and beyond amazing. I always plan my Ottawa trips around a meal here, and you’re missing out if you don’t give it a try.

Great experience. Though small the interior is comfortable and the food proved to be delicious. I tried the family fish & chips meal with a poutine and for 4 kids and 2 adults, it was plenty, we even brought enough home for a single person meal. Their was a thick cut of fish and not overly battered. And the poutine was very good, though the sauce is an original recipe, it was very good. For those interested, the fries are thick cut but the exterior was still crunchy, very well done. With reasonable prices, I will definitely go again. Recommend.

Vincent was our server, he was so friendly and made us feel welcomed. The food is easily on my top three list of best meals I have ever had hands down. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to come here!

Perfect experience. Absolutely beautiful rustic, old school, restaurant in Gatineau Hills / Chelsea. Has the feel of an old home with multiple smallish dining rooms and a big terrace. Food is French/Quebec with an extensive wine list. Usually when I see French I think stuffy, but this place is relaxed, but makes some of the finest food you will ever eat. Staff is relaxed, friendly, and very knowledgeable about wine pairings. Full bar as well if you are not a wine person. The mushroom pasty was great and the sweetbreads will make your eyes roll back in your head from enjoyment.

Excellent personal service exquisite food. For appetizers had wild mushrooms in cream and pan seared foie gras. Mains had venison medallions and beef cheek. All excellent. No room for dessert alas.

This is my favourite restaurant in the area. The food is always creative but genuine (good ingredients, well presented, not 'foofy' and absolutely delicious. The young service team will professional and always lovely. Yesterday we had great soups (caramelized onion, squash or rutabaga), steak tartar, salade panaché with thinly sliced gizards, fish rillette and for mains: venison, duck confit, sweetbreads. All absolutely delicious. The wine list if good. Bravo again to L'Orée - we had a fabulous evening.

I recently visited this brunch spot and was genuinely impressed by the food — especially the salmon eggs Benedict. It was perfectly executed: the salmon was fresh and flavorful, the poached eggs were just the right consistency, and the hollandaise sauce was rich without being overpowering. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in their dishes, and it definitely shows in the quality of the food. However, the customer service left something to be desired. While the staff wasn’t rude, they seemed somewhat disinterested and inattentive. We had to flag someone down a couple of times for refills and to get the check, which took longer than expected. There was little engagement or warmth from the servers, which was disappointing given the inviting atmosphere and great food. All in all, I’d return for the salmon Benedict alone — it really is that good. But I do hope they work on elevating the service to match the excellence coming out of the kitchen.

The service i got from one of my server wasn't that great left me unsatisfied, to the point where I had to beg for a new server, she was even rude to the other servers, great food & milk shakes I now know which server to avoid if I really want to enjoy myself! Would love to see more drink options and daily specials would keep me coming back daily!

A go to breakfast place in the Market. The breakfast is always delicious, the staff are very friendly and always provide great service. The place does not open till 8am, so do not go too early. The food is great, but the coffee not so much.

Food was decent, though quite expensive, but it's in Byward Market so it is what it is! Patio was quite nice and not too busy in the morning, but seemed to have lots of regulars that enjoy it. Eggs Benedict was tasty, and portions were good. Coffee was sub par, but passable. Inside looks like it has been redone and it looks quite sharp in there.

Whoever greeted us got us a heater to sit out on the patio on a chilly sunny morning. Food was great and my particular requests were respected.

I had to build my own breakfast since there were no vegan options (which is totally fine) but got charged $4.50 for HALF of a small avocado? I also work in customer service, so I understand waiters make no decisions about the prices - but I feel something could have been done. My $26 meal was genuinely not very much either: a few home fries, one piece of unbuttered toast, half of a small avocado and two measly slices of tomato, which I then assembled myself to make a breakfast sandwich (I wish I had taken a pic) My friend paid less and got double the food I had (plus he had protein). Please consider charging less for makeshift meals… the prices did not match up with the amount of food I received and as a first time costumer, I was quite disappointed.

If you’re looking for a fun, nerve-shattering yet extraordinary experience, and you’re not afraid to squeeze the most out of what life offers, you absolutely have to visit Great Canadian Bungee in Chelsea, Quebec, for an adventure you’ll never forget. My boyfriend and I love trying new things — extreme or not. But can you imagine standing 60 meters above the ground, knowing you’re about to dive into the air from that height? Luckily, the team was incredibly supportive, joking around and creating a safe, cheerful atmosphere. Even at that height, with their encouragement, we were in for a smooth, unforgettable jump. And then… the moment came — a flawless leap that lasted only seconds but felt like forever. The rest? Well, you’ll just have to try it for yourself.

This was a 100% awesome experience. It’s pretty close to Ottawa by Canada standards and the closest *safe* jump to Boston. I ended up doing the water dip and I think that just made everything just 10x better. I’d also recommend the zip line. The wait time was minimal. I reserved my spot in advance, but it seemed like it was a sort of light day. I have glasses and so for the bungee jump I had to go blind so to speak, but if you bring a strap for them you can use the zip line with your glasses. Sort of a bummer, but it did cure my worries about losing my glasses haha. The staff are super nice!!!

The place was gorgeous. It was fun, but I waited for over 3 hours. I'm not sure why, but I think they messed up our time and put another group ahead of us. I still recommend it, though.

It was a good experience overall. Only small downsides; they don’t have a proper washroom, just blue bins that don’t have sinks. They don’t have lockers, so you must put everything in your car and give your car key to reception. The small hike up to the Zipline and Bungee jumping is a bit too much under 32 degrees heat with a 10 kg harness that you have to carry on your own. The camera footages are not guaranteed and they don’t have good quality either, if you don’t have a friend waiting for you, you might end up with no memories.

An unforgettable rush! The staff were amazing, the jump was pure adrenaline, and the quarry setting is absolutely stunning. A must-do adventure in Canada!

The cave is super fun, wish it was longer. The hike to get there is kind of boring for the most part. Very nice park though with other activities possible

One of my top ten hiking experiences due to the cave at the end! We went before 10am which was good 'cause it can get busy by noon. Also, we brought some headlamps which we picked up at a dollar store, which made everything much easier. also, we were prepared to get wet because we had read that you need to go up to your chin in water.. which we did. if you've never been underground, this might be a bit overwhelming. for us it was totally cool! When we arrived, we saw a six year-old and his dad emerging so we knew that it was quite doable for us. We went in August and the water was a decent temperature. The cave was cool but not cold and the climbing felt relatively safe. There are about three spots where there are natural skylights. The traverse takes about 10-15 minutes to go through slowly. we had so much fun. We did it twice.

What a beautiful experience! Just make sure if you want to go in the caves bring, water shoes, head lights and helmet for the kids because some areas are short and kids might hit their heads if they aren’t paying attention.

There's a nice and easy hike of about 5kms from the beach parking lot to the caves. They are pretty easy to navigate and kid friendly.

About 4-5 km hike to get to an incredible rock formation underground. Relatively safe, the NCC recommends bringing a flashlight, helmet and water shoes. Bring a spare pare of socks / shoes, you'll 100% get wet. The ceiling gets very low and it's dark so be prepared, go with enough daylight left too. Beautiful!

This trail is easy to moderate depending on your physical condition. There is one area you have to climb over a large rock, a rope is provided for support. The caves are dark, headlamps are recommended. Water is very cold in September but we wore swimsuits and were ok. Water shoes or crocks and a change of clothes recommended. You need to crouch in some areas, so the water was up to my chest but still max. 2.5 ft deep. Once in, it's not far until the end. It's a unique experience that doesn't disappoint. Surrounded by clean beaches with picnic and children's play areas, and a volley ball court.

Clean bright store with good variety and good prices

Arrived in the store at 4:45 just to grab a thing in and out. I thought I was allowed my well behaved dog in the store as I had heard they were allowed in Rossys. Was rudely told “uuuuh excuse me? No” by the older lady working that my dog wasn’t allowed which is fine but could have been said nicely. She then proceeded to rudely tell me they were closing in 15 minutes. The younger girl was kind and told me to have a good day but that older woman was clearly just wanting to close and has no customer service skills. Did not make me want to give any business. Please do better.

Location: although Gatineau Park does not have effective road signs, Google Maps has saved me several times in this maze of a park. Fortunately the trails themselves have good maps and route markers. Using GPS and following the trails markers, it was easy to navigate everywhere and find the ruins. Parking: there is plenty of parking as this is a popular trail. The price is varied depending on how much time you need, but it will likely cost you between $11-15. Facilities: there are toilets at the entrance to the trail and everything is in good condition and well maintained. Aesthetics/ambience: some of the trail feels almost “too well maintained” as it feels more like a road than a hiking trail and I was concerned there might be vehicles passing by us, but I think it’s just a service road for park staff only. There are lots of trees and a beautiful stream, and we saw plenty of wildlife. The ruins of the dam, mill, and laboratory are really cool and are definitely the main attraction for visitors. Ease of hike: this is a very easy and family friendly hike. Not so easy that it isn’t worthwhile for veteran hikers- it’s very worthwhile.

A Hidden Gem Worth Exploring! Tucked away in Gatineau Park, the Carbide Willson Ruins are a peaceful and historic site surrounded by nature. The 3km hike is scenic and relatively easy, and the view at the end is truly rewarding—an abandoned stone lab beside a waterfall, full of history and charm. It’s a peaceful escape, ideal for photographers, nature lovers, or anyone wanting a break from the city buzz. Come prepared with proper shoes, water, and maybe a picnic. There are no facilities here—just you, the forest, and the echoes of a forgotten dream. Definitely worth adding to your Ottawa-Gatineau itinerary!

Great Gatineau Park hike if you only have a few hours. Low difficulty level and great for any age group. The ruines are great to experience as well and make for a great photo setting!

It was a fantastic hike, parked in lot 11 and walked. It is a bit of a distance for anyone who may not like to walk and a few steep hills that can be hard on the way back but if you enjoy hiking it is most certainly worth the view when you get to it!

This property was beautiful and worth the hike. We even saw a black bear during our visit a few years ago. Listening to the waterfall flowing through the mill is wonderful. We went during the fall.

Visited Carbide Wilson Ruins in Gatineau Park on 12th July 2025! We parked at P11 (O’Brien Beach, near Meech Lake). In summer the parking can be a little busy, but if you wait a bit, spots usually free up as people come and go. The fee is $2.75 CAD per hour (max $15). There are also restrooms and change rooms available at P11, which is very convenient. The hike is a short and pleasant one — about 3.25 km round trip on Trail 36, which takes roughly 1.5 hours at an easy pace. Along the way, the forest path is scenic, and at the end you reach the historic Carbide Wilson Ruins with a beautiful waterfall. It’s a great spot for photos and to spend time with friends or family. Nearby is O’Brien Beach, where you’ll see lots of people swimming and boating in the summer — perfect if you want to combine the hike with some time by the lake. Overall, this is a must-visit spot in Gatineau Park.

The falls were closed on our visit. From the trail, there is no notification/sign of the Falls/Ruins closure until you get all the way to a closed fence at the path. We, and many others travelled over an hour to arrive to a shut gate.

This artist collective promotes the work of their own artists as well as featured guest artists, all from the National Capital Region. One of the artists is always on duty at the gallery which means a warm welcome and knowledge about the artists represented and works available. The guest artist changes every three weeks. I highly recommend browsing in the calm atmosphere and an opportunity to buy directly from local artists.

Waters were filled often, and our server was always close to check up on our table. I noticed our cutlery and napkins were always clean because the staff replaced used cutlery when they walk by. Everything about this place is amazing! The setting in the garden and surrounded by beautiful forest and wildlife gives this 5 stars for atmosphere alone. The service was spot on with plenty of time between courses to chat with friends or take a walk in the gardens. The food and presentation was top notch as was the wine pairing. Highly recommend it.

Amazing place. One of the best restaurants I ate in. Great service, great food presentation, amazing taste. A nice taste symphony. From the experience I had I am pretty sure everything in the menu is great. The prices are a little bit on the high side but is worth it. Before heading there you should get a reservation. I wasn't aware and went without one. The staff was able to accomodate. As food I can say that pizza is divine. Lamb is decent, the sauce is very good same for the carrots and potato.

I wish I could leave a better review but the fish pie I bought at the Wakefield market this morning was much too liquid and the veggies undercooked. It was more chowder with a crust than a pie. The taste was pretty good though as was the pastry. I would buy another if they pay a bit more attention to the filling. I find it a bit hard to justify the price. We eat salmon here weekly. The salmon is the best salmon around. It’s so fresh that we eat it sashimi style and love it. It also has other great options like seaweed salad, tourtiere and different mustards and so much more. I highly encourage you to check out the Boucanerie it’s a great place to get your Omegas 😊

I'm revising my review from a well-deserved 5 stars to 3. I've been a loyal customer for years, always looking forward to picking up some Smoked Salmon Jerky and chowder. However, over the past year, I've noticed a decline in quality. The jerky, while still good, isn't as great as it used to be—it's less sticky and more liquidy, if that makes sense. The chowder, once a creamy, hearty delight, has become watered down with less substance. I've returned twice since then, hoping for improvement, but the experience was the same each time. I loved your chowder so much that I even questioned whether my taste buds had changed due to COVID. But when I found an old container of your chowder from a few years ago, it confirmed that the recipe has indeed changed. To the owners, I understand that cost-saving measures might be tempting, but you're running a business in a town with an average household income of $146,000 and attracts 500,000 visitors per year. People will pay for quality, and while cutting corners might boost short-term profits, it risks losing loyal customers like myself who come back for that special treat. Please consider bringing back your original chowder recipe, even if it means raising the price. It would be well worth it. I haven’t lost hope entirely, and I might give your chowder another try in the future—just not anytime soon.

What a fabulous 18-hole mini putt! Gorgeous landscape with many water features. One would think that you’re in the Caribbean. So surprised not to see crowds in here, but it is a weekday afternoon game after all. Guess they’re coming tonight. The restaurant is very reasonably priced and a very varied menu. We quite enjoyed the veggie burger and fish and chips. And what can I say about the ice cream treats except “delicious”. Even a super fun jungle gym for the kids.

Our group had the privilege of having the entire course to ourselves for a special event organized by the Comité Relève of the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The course itself is beautifully designed — creative, challenging in just the right ways, and perfectly maintained. Each hole brings a little surprise, keeping the energy high and the laughs constant. Whether you’re competitive or just in it for the fun, it’s an activity everyone can enjoy. After playing, we gathered in their modern, stylish indoor space, which was the perfect spot to relax, chat, and network. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and ideal for connecting with fellow professionals. A huge thank-you to the Dunnd’s team for their hospitality and attention to detail — everything ran smoothly, and the experience was top-notch. We visited Dunnd’s Village three times this summer, and each time was a wonderful experience. The location offers beautiful scenery, and the variety of food and drinks is impressive, both in taste and price. It’s an ideal spot for a family day out, with plenty for kids to do, from playing on the structures and trampoline to joining you in the well-designed 18-hole mini-golf course. The outdoor bistro bar is a lovely place to enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning greenery that surrounds the area. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable.

What a lovely spot for the family to spend time here.. I love the idea of having a restaurant along side of entertainment for the kids. Wish there were more of these in Ottawa area. We had kids ranging from 13-1.5 , all 9 of them had a blast.. food was ok nothing special, but we really enjoyed the relaxed vibes and kids were going around from one play space to another freely while having a great time

Love the play jungle for my kids! It's always clean, and well maintained, and I believe they are expanding it for next summer. Our kids play here for hours and their food is great, but also reasonably priced. Staff are always friendly as well and there is always ample parking. Could not recommend this place enough. Also the entire kids area is fenced in, so my child who likes to run off and elope can't and it makes me rest at ease that my kid can play safely.

This place in my opinion is a great disc golf course. Plenty of challenging baskets, access to a cart which makes the experience so much more enjoyable and a spectacular view. It needs to be mentioned though that the disc golf course definitely needs some TLC. Some of the starting points are hard to find, the signs are not intuitive, and the baskets have been not taken care of in a long time, sometimes crooked or just barely sticking out of the ground. I love to drive all the way out there for a game with the buds but it would be even more enjoyable if it were properly taken care of. All in all great experience.

Beautiful rolling disc golf course with a nice mix of par 3-5s. Mostly open looks and huge rips make for great drives and approaches. The steep hills will test your putting nerves. Golf carts available and I recommend not having to carry your bag!

Dog friendly, My puppy spent his second birthday here. Everything was just perfect. Friendly staff and eager players.

Larrimac is a great course that is equal part challenging and scenic. The course is kept in fantastic condition and the greens are outstanding. It's a perfect 9 hole course to work on your game.

Great hidden gem in between Chelsea and Wakefield. Onsite bar and restaurant, and very reasonable membership fees both for golf and tennis.

Great community-based club with a warm atmosphere. We played nine holes and then greens were very well kept. Staff in the clubhouse were very nice and we stopped by during their open house where they were giving our free hamburgers and hotdogs. For just $20 for nine holes, you can’t go wrong!

The place is really nice and the atmosphere is great . I highly recommend the ceaser salad, the club sanduish and a bottle of wine (bellevue la foret) . The spinach dip is not the best as it contains a lot of cheese . The restaurant is cozy and really close to Chelsea hiking trails

To save you time…would I go back or suggest it to friends or family…I don’t think so. Have been waiting for months to go since they were still building because the local looked, so finally went. The local: Nice wood construction, ambience relaxed, no noise at all from surrounding Chelsea is like a oasis, good music, there’s indoor seating and a lovely patio in the back. They have a parking lot. So local…check. Service: There were only three clients, us included, one server who was welcoming, it took like 25 minutes to be served. I had a drink and was never asked if wanted more. So I’d say was not bad service but room for improvement. Food: Unremarkable. If you are going expecting delicious food…go somewhere else, was just normal, noting special, and believe me, I am not picky. I had the smallest steak I have even been served in my life, was done as required but was bland even after adding the gravy. The tuna salad was also small, like 5 pieces of tuna, vinaigrette was good. I have had better food in the area for less or the same like the Hibou at Wakefield or Biscoti and Cea at Chelsea. I might go back for a beer and maybe try the burger for a second try but my expectations will be low. I wish things get better, the place is lovely but food and service need work.

This was an order For pick up. First the good: The wings are AMAZING. Unfortunately I Ordered the “Kale Caesar salad” with grilled chicken and there was neither kale nor grilled chicken. I called back left a message and no one got back to me.

Great spot, a must try if you've never been! Staff is wonderful, food is great! (locally themed names makes it very fun) And the decor is very fresh and inviting.

I went with good friends on Saturday and the food and service was great. Jade our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. I would definitely go back!

Great spot in Chelsea! The beer and cocktails are excellent, and the food is just as good. Prices are very reasonable, especially when they have specials. Service is usually very good as well, though it can be a bit slower when the place is busy and staff is stretched. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Arrived 6:25 and decided to leave at 7:40 when it was still going to be more than 10 min more for us to get our appetizers. Update: We were offered (for free) a main dish of someone who left due to the wait. And some of our other food came while we ate that. The wait staff were amazing and just felt bad for us and were doing whatever they could to get us fed. The place is just taking more reservations (yes, we had one) than the kitchen can handle.
