The place was extremely crowded during my visit, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. While it’s clear that it's a popular destination, the sheer number of people made it difficult to move around comfortably or fully appreciate the atmosphere. Wait times were long, personal space was limited, and it was a bit overwhelming at times.

I've been to carthageland twice once in the summer (August) and the 2nd time the end of December 2024. There are 3 sections to this themepark the aqua park, carthageland and King kong. Carthageland is a good place to visit with children in the summer because the Aqua park is open, and there are plenty of water slides available for young children and teenagers we spent about 4 hours in this section. We purchased hot food to eat in this section (pizza). we then went over to carthageland, which is the theme park. This is a separate section of the park from aqua land. There are a handful of rides for young children to teenagers. The third area is King Kong, which is a singular ride on the far side of the park which is for older children & teenagers. We all had a really good time, well worth the money. When we visited in December 2024, the Aquapark was closed as it was too cold for it to be open. We attended the theme park and King Kong it was not as fun as when we visited in August. We spent around 2 hours in carthageland and we had been on everything. There were no ques, although there were families in the park. I wouldn't recommend visiting when the Aquapark is closed due to there not being enough rides available. It costs us in the summer to visit all 3 areas of the park around £11.50 per person, which is worth it and is a whole day activity. It costs us less than that in December as we only visited 2 areas of the park. I would recommend visiting in the summer.

Fab little place for a day out if your visiting hammamet we had a really good day lots to see and do definitely worth a visit

Free voucher from our hotel. A very small park. When we went the main rides had strange opening times, e.g the rapids open 10 till 11 then the log flume 11 till 12. There are a few other small rides but these are not that good. You are not allowed to take water into the park and your bags will be searched on entry. Animals are in small enclosures but some good statues of Dinosaurs and French animation characters.

The shop is Really big for the area and has a good selection of products there. The had a bakery there with a memebr of staff workingn it, but there was no bread or croissants, or anything baked! Bit odd that you needed to leave your bag at the front of the store in a basket but wasn't really an issue. Main issues were the staff as each of them I spoke to I found to be a bit unfriendly and almost like what I was asking from them was a chore.

Some really historical mosaics, in need of preservation. Attempts have been made to reinforce them at some point, using steels which have since started to rust causing the mosaic to pop and crumble, see them before they turn to dust or irreparable damage. However on the plus😆The coffee ☕️ shop outside is wonderful and the owner is really nice. The espresso is top notch.

Amazing little place where you can see ancient mosaics. It can be done in half an hour or less. Tunisia tourism board should pay more attention to this place to preserve it for many more years to come. A few free parking spaces at the front are available. No crowds, so no queues!

If you are in Tunisia for a few days and want to visit Roman ruins, Pupput won't be my first choice. Although I enjoyed some of the mosaics, the site is destroyed to the ground.

An absolutely wonderful experience for our first time in Tunisia! We are beginner riders and the guides were wonderful people and pleased to provide any information about Tunisia and horse riding☺️. The horses were wonderful and calm too so perfect for beginners!

Had a fantastic experience today with my partner riding the horses on the beach during the evening. Arranged it through Instagram after reading a review that someone else had done similar. Got a relative quick response which is amazing customer service and after confirming costs and them arranging transfers at a reasonable additional agreed cost. We attended the place a few days later and from arrival to leaving it was a pleasant experience and as a beginner on horses the staff were helpful and the horses were great. Staff offered to take pictures and videos of the experience throughout various points of the trip at no additional cost and even sent the pictures across via WhatsApp later the same evening. Overall would recommend to anyone who wants to experience riding a horse in a controlled and safe environment where the staff clearly know what they're doing and happy to assist where needed.

We loved the experience here! Sami, the guide, is a great guide, who’ll teach you how to ride but will also tell you a lot about Tunisia and Tunisian language. The atmosphere is really welcoming, the horses are lovely and very well trained. One of the best experiences in Tunisia for us! Totally recommend. We’ll come again!

Simply amazing, beautiful horses that are well looked after. Sami has a true passion and it shows, couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my mixed ability family. Trots on the beach at sunset for my inexperienced wife and son, and full on canters and gallops for my experienced daughter. Amazing value for money for a truly unique experience.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Yesmine Hammamet. Although the prices are a bit up but the food is just amazing. The service is fast, the food menu has a lot of choices, and the Indian and Asian flavours are available. Noodles, carry, soy sauce, etc... I would definitely say the prices are worth it and the food tastes very good. The personnel are very friendly and will answer all your requests. Toilets are clean, a nice place for families, couples, and groups. It has a terrace with great view

The food was terrible. While the staff were lovely, we had to wait an extremely long time for our food, which was very disappointing given the high prices compared to other local restaurants. I asked for my steak medium well, but as you can see in the attached pictures, the cow was still breathing. During our visit there was only one other group at the restaurant so I can only imagine how long food will take when it’s just in peak season.

To avoid at all cost! Very bad restaurant in all aspects. Wait for food was very long while the restaurent was not busy. Food came either overcooked or undercooked! Service was extremely bad. We were served 3 times platters we did not order. This restaurant should be closed or everyone should be replaced!!! Their cart is huge and sounded delicious...at the end we were only served deception dished!!!

I don’t recommend this place to anyone I asked the waiter for a pepperoni pizza for a 6yr old girl, he brought: the largest pizza on the house, with hot red pepper and chopped onions, and the pepperoni wasn't even a pepperoni, I asked him and he said that’s it….. anyway you know the attitude While we there the same and the only waiter was having a big argument with one of the customer Waste of money Avoid !!!!

What can i say, very very expensive for below average food, the steaks were all bland no taste at all, the food took long time to arrive, not one of us in the entire group enjoyed the food, ordered prawns too but they never came, the staff do everything they can to get you to come inside the restuarant, if they put that effort into making the food nice then this place could be amazing. Avoid this restuarant as you will leave dissapointed and still hungry afterwards, everything very overpriced here too.

Poor experience yesterday afternoon. Waiters where friendly, however hidden agenda in wanted increased tipping culture, we arrived as a large group and the food was mediocre, was not worth the money at all, the mixed grill had no meat on it and was more expensive then the UK! The atmosphere was average, stray cats everywhere wanting feeding, flies all over the table and food, waiter said "welcome to Tunisia". Then upon paying the bill, they attempted to add additional bits on such as drinks and sundries which where not consumed on table, then had the cheek to say "what, so only small tip?" Its attitude like this where its expected that returns only small tips, I understand Tunisia has a tipping culture, but please dont hold your hand out and beg for tips. Overall, we all agreed we would not return due to the hidden billing agenda and small portions.

Great food and ALCOHOL selection/price. If your looking for a restaurant in the area that has a bar, this is a great option. The setting is very nice for a quiet dinner with more upscale pricing. Be reluctant if you are looking for a restaurant with views. Though the restaurant is very nice, it is located somewhat near/within a theme park so it may not be what your looking for if you want a beach view but if your not then this is a great selection and close to the tourist area. Also they offer menus exclusively in English/French/Russian.

I couldn't leave Hammamet without writing a review for that restaurant. We ordered a sea food platter and I'm not joking it has been one of the best one I have ever had , lot of variety and everything was very fresh. The service provided by our waitress was outstanding they really take care of everything if you're looking for great sea food this place worth a visit

We came from a visit to Oudna archeologic site and we were too hungry. l checked the restaurant review online before I book a table Food: the squid was tiny , frozen and it was tasteless. For "filet de Loup Safrané" I had to search for the Tiny filet which doesn't exceed 100g at most for 38Dt. We liked the Crevettes sautées à l'ail. Wine: we liked the white Chardonay. Well, we were hungry and we left the restaurant Hungry. Clean! The toilet was astonishingly stinking. It was dark as the light doesn't switch on and it was not flushed for days I guess. Noisy: a too noisy 120 Decibels attraction next door. The waiter was praising it when we asked to change the table. I forgot to say that the waiter smokes in front of the restaurant.(which is the norm in most Tunisian restaurants) Sorry to say that, but all reviews I read before visiting to the restaurant made me choose it. But, and for sure, I would never write a single arbitrary critics to hurt the business. The owner should reviews the core restaurant business and make changes.

Because we like it so much the first time, we came again to eat seafood. We had paella fisherman and mixed fried seafood. Really, the best in town!

Okay so i’m going to tell you my experience with this lounge with zero feelings included I called to make reservation he hanged the phone on me , i recalled him he did answer then in the evening we went their the security guards didn’t accept for us to enter with no reservation i wouldn’t recommend it , i would recommend both the famous lounge its right next to it great service , good food or the la terrazza thats very close to it great service and great food as well , i just wanted to share my experience with y’all have a great evening no one deserves to be treated like this 😁🍻

The security at the entrance refused us on the 01/05 at 01:32am on reason we do not have reservations by trying to be rude to us wich was many table empty , i do not understand how this peope are refusing high spender guest and their job is only to ensure that we are safe at their place , i’will not recommend it to any one better to go to calypso wich they welcome at anytime

But the problem is if the sucurity didnt like you you can never get inside they just say need reservation so how can i reserve? worst bar i've ever been to. You have to wait for 30 minutes for a simple beer. The waiters are impolite and the owner treats you like he's the client. The DJ played random music. 0 Competence. I cannot recommend this to anyone. And if you do decide to go in a group, only pay the bill when you're going out, otherwise they'll tell you the bill is payed you have to leave the table.

Excellent place to visit. Turns into a disco after 11pm where a DJ is playing live music. Great food and company.

The food in here was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful even though could not speak much English. Seems to be a very popular with the locals on a Friday night night but still very encouraging to tourists. The manager could not do enough for us and we had a lovely evening.

Decent zoo. Staff are very nice and will tell you what times which animals will be fed. Currently no giraffes, elephants, or kangaroos. Animals seem well cared for. There’s toilets and refreshments scattered throughout. A couple of restaurants. And a very reasonably priced gift shop - fixed prices but you wouldn’t need to haggle anyway.

It was a very hot day, and we did not expect to see many animals around, but surprisingly it end up being a great day out! Highly recommended 👌

I visited in August 2025. Buying tickets at the zoo was cheaper than purchasing them online. Unfortunately, there were no elephants, giraffes, or seals during my visit. The place could benefit from better maintenance and care.

There were lot's of exotic animals but some were not there like the elephants the giraffes and crocodiles the sea-lion was not there I don't know if it is because he only comes for shows or something because there was a show place there

Some animals like the giraffes and sea lions missing, which negates the impact somewhat. A good collection of lions and tigers. The Zulu show is a bit of fun.

The zoo was very good lots of great rare animals and food+drink easily available for cheap. They fed the tigers and lions infront of us and it was a great watch definitely recommend that. The Friguia zoo also included seal entertainment which we sadly didn't see as it wasn't on at the time but im sure it wouldnt have been spectacular. The camels are ridable which gives a great experience for all ages. You could hand feed the deer also from a very kind man who gave you free deer food and leaves to give to them which was my favourite part. The zulu dancing was a must do. There was a great display of dancing, singing and musical instruments which was amazing. The staff performance were very interactive with the audience. The food was mostly okay but the chicken and rice as the main was delicious. At the end of the performance the Dancers encouraged everyone to get up stage and dance with them and everybody did. Was a great experience, would definitely recommend.

Very good value for money. I arrived at opening time 9am and walked around pretty much on my own. All the animals were being fed. I did not see any elephants, giraffes, or crocodiles which is a pity. Plenty of toilets as you walk around. I would not recommend if you are not steady on your feet due to uneven concrete/stone path ways.

It was a nice place to look at with lots of trees and place and a nice amphitheatre, but beware of the guide in the villa. They ask you at reception if you want a coffee or tea for 2 Dinar per person and then the waiter/guide at the villa will give you what you want and take you around, but he will want more money at the end, of course. And he will not be happy with 1 or 2 Dinar

It's worth the trip although not incredibly informative. 5 dinar entrance fee, dont opt for the tea or coffee seems like an elaborate scam. Nice grounds to walk around, can easily see it all in 1h. Not much information on the history so check Wikipedia.

Its like a scam we paid at the front for drinks and watet then insude someone took thr tickets and told us to sit but he din’t come nor gave us our drinks. Though the place is pretty but the workers don’t do a thing

Absolute disgrace. A historical site left to rot, dirty, abusively redecorated, zero respect for the architecture, the history, esthetics, anything. No descriptive board on the history of the place. If the EU has financed this horrible place, as a lone sign in the back of the garden suggests, they should immediately ask their money back.

Relaxing during the weekend..dar sebastian could be the place to be...this place may host events during holidays or weekend...then you can walk through the big garden surrounding the complex and get to know the variety of flora..ps you can bring your own coffee or buy it there *(I personally didn't like the quality )

The old fortified city, protected by high stone walls. Cobbled, narrow, labyrinthine streets, where you can easily get lost. Lots of small shops, many of them with souvenirs. annoying merchants, trying at any cost to sell you something.

Bit of gentle harassment in the Medina, but they are polite and its fun. Just learn to politely walk away if you’re not buying. Great coffee and some fab nic naks. Start haggling at 20% of what they say and don’t pay more than 40%

We visited later February 2023. Only 6 dinars per person to enter. It's nice inside and quite peaceful. There is information posters inside on the places of interest. There is a place to buy a limited number of books to the left as you enter the quadrangle which appeared to be quite interesting. Once inside, You climb up the stairs and walk around the walls to get great views of the surrounding area. Ladies and gent toilets inside the walls by the stairs. Very clean with hand towels and hand driers. It looks as though there is a small refreshment bar at the top of the stairs and to the left, though I assume this is only open during the tourist season.

A well curated museum but not many authentic pieces inside, it tells a great story but felt a bit more as tourist attraction than a serious exhibition

Beautiful view, average experience overall. We had lunch at Le Barberousse in Hammamet. The view is absolutely stunning, especially if you get a table overlooking the sea — definitely the highlight of the place. The food was okay, nothing extraordinary, but decent. The service was below average, a bit slow and not very attentive. That said, if you’re visiting Hammamet, it’s still worth trying for the location and ambiance alone. Just go with moderate expectations for the food and service.

Delicious food with great portions, friendly staff, and a great view. Very clean and hygienic. Downside is there are quite a few stairs to get to it and the entrance is a little hidden. Highly recommended though.

It looks like a tourist trap but actually we were the only tourists. The restaurant was fully crowded as Ramadan was starten just two days after our visit. The food was incredible! Only fish and seafood! A bit expensive but it was definitely worth a visit and the best fish/seafood we had in Hammamet!

I had it rare and my partner had medium rare, his was a little overdone but nothing to complain about! Have been a client since some years but tonight the place hit rock bottom for me. In all aspects of cuisine and service. Very amateurish.....so sad....to see this happening. 🥲🤫😒. The starter was a carpaccio of beef dressed differently and a bad sauce, spaghetti carbonara....spaghetti wet with water and the bacon undercooked seriously....after 2/3 attempts to find some taste 0 chance....gave up and didn't finish. To top it off asked for a red wine that was shown to me at 50td, but served the same named wine reserve at 80td. So people be very astute and vigilant. This was a very bad experience. Have never ordered a reserve wine in all my visits here in Tunisia during all my visits. It's been so much better in the past. The people working with you are nice people but not experienced. But seriously after tonight I couldn't honestly recommend chez Robert to potential clients. Don't wish to have that responsibility.
