I just ate at "El Corral" and the service was horrible. They messed up our orders and drinks even though we were the only ones there. The food was not how I remember, the bread was soggy and old and zero customer service 😑. Would not recommend or come back to this place the price doesn't match the service or the food.
With all the services and facilities of a shopping mall including cinema. I loved the bar on the last floor suitable to meet new people, new friends.
el cacique is one of the best malls in the area, it has an impressive view of the city and many very nice stores to buy many things in the mall. I definitely recommend this mall to go if you need to buy clothes or go to eat something at the food court while you watch the city.

La Flora Ecological Park, also known as Parque Ecologico La Flora, is a serene sanctuary nestled in the midst of urban and forest areas along the Floridablanca road. This expansive park is often referred to as the lungs of Bucaramanga due to its mature trees and lush vegetation. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as yoga, calisthenics, and reading in this tranquil setting.
For a free entry park, we were surprised how pleasant this park was. It's quite small but there are mild inclines and steps to help get your exercise in. At one of the two entrances, there is fruit laid out for the birds. We spent many minutes just watching a number of colourful birds take advantage of the feast. It really is a no brainer to come and visit this park for an hour or two.

This is a gringo review and I hope you find it helpful. This is a really walkable big city park in a mid-sized Latin American city. If you've never seen bamboo, well, today's the day. There's a nice dirt path that hugs the outer edge of the park and there's a nice Central path that runs from one side to the other. It seemed to me there were just the right amount of families, Walkers, exercisers and strollers. It's shady with lots of mature tropical trees and very safe.
Paved walking paths. With occasional steep inclines. You can also take stairs and walk on dirt trails. Beautiful park you are under a huge canopy of natural shade most of the time. Great children's playground that includes climbing areas and ping-pong tables. Bring your own paddles and balls. Great place to picnic. Lots of seating areas and tables.
It’s a nice park where you can go with family or friends to walk, jog, have a picnic, do yoga, do some birdwatching, play some games or exercise in the open air. There are lots of trees and vegetation, paths, benches, birds and squirrels. Pets are not allowed though.
A nice, clean place in nature to get away from the busyness of the city. When I went there were not a lot of people so it was also peaceful
Newly revamped, and beautiful. I love how you can feel as though you are far from the city, whilst being in the heart of it.
A shame they don’t allow dogs to enter and that two of the entry points are permanently locked.

I went out on a date with my wife to have some drinks and eat. Once The bill came I tried paying. The card reader wouldn't work. My waiter tried a few times but then suggested getting a manager involved. I could clearly see that this was becoming an issue. So I tell my wife to just go to the ATM and pull The money out (because obviously it was the machine because the money is there). But by then my wife was nervous because of how we were being treated. She asked me to come with her, to which I tried explaining that she needs to go by herself while I wait because it's clear to me that I'm being treated like someone who dines and dashes. But my wife thinking and seeing The best in people was unaware. Not only did she have to go to the ATM But they had someone escort her. To add insult to injury. Once my wife was able to withdraw the money she came upstairs to pay. They had the nerve to keep the tip on my bill, which I told them to remove (of course). I was given no apologies for their mistake.
I would tell any black customer to never come to this establishment. To spend your black dollar where it's respected and appreciated.
We had a breakfast buffet during the week. It had a good variety, we loved the bread selection and the fact that you could get freshly made eggs with different ingredients. The attention was spot on. The view from the restaurant is amazing. 100% recommend.

Beautiful views, food is good for its price
Great ambiance, the service is the best I have ever experiencied, everyone is always willing to help and make sure you're enjoying yourself, however, the food could improve, I ordered pig ribs and they were supposed to peel off easily. However these ones were stuck and were pink near the bone, also a few pieces of the fish from the ceviche was too purple, I didn't eat it because I wasn't sure it wasn't rotten.
What an excellent dining experience. We opted in for the buffet and it was an incredible spread with plenty of choices for all types of foodies. The dessert bar was also filled with delicious treats. Great customer service with an incredible view of the city. I would definitely visit again.

We went to the Casalins,
Cra. 35a #56-11, for lunch. The staff was friendly. The restaurant decoration looks good and it is clean. I ordered a trout on the grill. The fish was salty and it came with coconut rice. The portion of the rice was small and a salad. My mother and son ordered a dish with lots seafood, the baked salmon came nicely. However there were many deep fried fish on it. Maybe some people like it but I found it too unhealthy for a fancy restaurant.
This place promises an experience and an atmosphere. The service is nice
And kind, no complaints here. But the food, based on our order, is not worthy of your time or money. Flavors are not unique, not Memorable, and in the case of my particular dish, salty. FYI, we order simple things: the Pulpo a la Parilla entry, the Jinetes de Altamar Tacos, the Salmon a la Parrilla, the Cazuela Especial, and the Lomo Saltado. The entry was uncooked, and looked very different to the picture in the menu. The tacos were generous, but tasteless. The Salmon was Meh! Flavorless!. The beef dish, was very salty, I couldn't eat it. The cazuela was normal at best, not even close to “Wonderful” as the describe it. I can’t recommend this place in good conscience. Much better food in cheaper places. Please avoid.
Your restaurant in Megamall is nothing but a repo off I order from the monitor and when I was waiting for the food I noticed that they had over charged me and when I pointed that out they told me that the price had changed 2 days earlier and they never got around to correct the price

Good seafood option in Bucaramanga. Had the cazuela, ceviche, and appetizer. Prices were reasonable but service was a bit slow. I prefer going to Pescocentro.
This one is a very good please, the service is excellent, and they have very good dishes. I ordered for red snapper it was a little bit dry crunchy it's also a good option. You have to try for a coconut limonade and also fried plantain (patacones) ...
Great food, and lots of choices. The mediocre customer service and slow service make me want to give it 3 stars, but the food and drinks are good. Management should invest in either more personal or training, to make it in par with the prices and prestige this place supposedly has.
De ent food but everything has shrimp. If you are allergic choices are slim. I picked a dessert based on their description and because I wanted chocolate. Wasn't able to enjoy it because they added shaved coconut on top of it. I'm allergic I was lucky I noticed upon first bite and was able to spit it out and take my allergy medication. I also had my epipen ready.

Would recommend if visiting the area.

Most definitely lives up to its rating we ordered the meat lasagna and a steak pasta. Do not skip on the lasagna or the house dessert it was so good. I was not able to take a picture. I would most definitely come back.

One of my favorite restaurants in Bucaramanga. Everything was fresh, prepared with love, and tasty. This restaurant has a very extensive menu to accommodate all. The restaurant has many different spaces great for events. I wish I could order the SFERA DI CIOCCOLATO dessert over and over again.

The best Italian restaurant in Bucaramaga area. All dishes are amazing I’ve tried so many, my favorite part is the dessert (chocolate sphere). My favorite dish is lasagna the special one, huge portions. Depending on the day take a while to get your dinner but worth it.

North side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the north side side of town. Start the day off with Centro Comercial Parque Caracolí, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Catedral Metropolitana de la Sagrada Familia. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Centro Comercial Parque Caracolí is a modern mall located in Floridablanca, Santander. It features brick- and wood-lined corridors with a variety of name-brand retailers, as well as spaces for music, shows, and dining. The mall has 153 premises and a unique snail structure that makes it easy to navigate. Visitors can enjoy a diverse selection of food options while watching the sunset.
Nice big mall with a great variety of stores. I was surprised to find a speedo store as well as American eagle. As a North American I felt like I was back home. The mall is busy vibrant and bustling. Malls are dead in the US and Canada but this mall was so packed on a Sunday evening. There is a dollar city on the top floor which is South America’s version of Canadian dollarama. Lots of food options as well. There is a bridge connecting the mall to the Florida mall across. Personally I find this mall much better. I highly recommend, but perhaps go on a Monday afternoon. We can tend to be super busy and I can imagine parking must be a challenge.

Nice place, lots of awesome stores. Restaurant options are a bit limited but the ones they do have are good. It gets really packed, and parking gets complicated when it's busy and elevator are full all the time. It is best to use stairs. Would give it 5 stars but parking and elevator availability sucks.
This is a modern not to old mall. It has many levels to include a hotel Sonesta. Very nice clean including the restrooms. If you don't like the crowds go during the day. Once night fall comes in it gets crowded. The terrace gets very crowded since all the food courts, restaurants and bars are up there. The theater and gym are also up in this area which makes it crowded. Food is good but no social distancing. The stores all require face masks, they all have hand sanitizer all over the place. Parking garage, taxis outside all the time. A/C is low but comfortable inside. Bank ATMs on different floors

Never tough about a place like this, got amazed with the Biosecurity measures, take your temperature, disinfect your hands and maintain ventilation system, has parking spot at an accessible price, most of the places internally include the same measures.
Went to get a couple drinks at one of the restaurants and was ok, not bad at all but that is a story for a different review.
Overall this Mall overlaps my expectations.
Very clean and comfortable with plenty of places to sit, relax, and even charge your phone. One of the best malls in Colombia. Prices are high and fake products still abound, buyer beware.
I needed a place to park because of an emergency with my dog, they didn't allowed me to enter their ### parking lot with my dog. I think it's the only shopping center in the area that doesn't allow pets. Never coming back there.
Update: I actually came back a couple times after that, only to discover cockroaches on their food court, around the tables... Today I received my dinner from Mercagan with one cockroach in my dish!! Be very careful when you visit that food court!
The fact that it's round makes me feel like a fish in a fish bowl, but the cinema area and the food courts are excellent. There's 2 of them, 1 on the roof but covered, and they sometimes have live music

Fantastic botanical garden with plants, tortoises, birds, and sloths! Ask an employee or security officer if they know where the sloths are and they can usually help you out.

Great place to chill with a book.
The botanical garden is quite small but packs a lot into it. We went on a weekday and we're literally the only people there. We saw a variety of birds including Kingfishers, Humming Birds, Woodpeckers and Vultures, There are turtles and squirrels everywhere and there was a large lake with fish, ducks and terrapins. As we were leaving after an already satisfying visit, one of the lovely staff members gestured to us to follow her. She pointed out some sloths which we would otherwise have missed. We would highly recommend a visit here. Bring a good set of binoculars and while away a couple of hours in this beautiful garden.
Hours are 8am to 4pm, except the first business day of each week, when there is no service. Cost 5000 entry.
Nice to hear the water from the creek. Very natural grounds with old trees and many paths. Saw several turtles, some ducks, and different birds.
The place needs signage and the ponds need to be cleaned.
Love that no pets are allowed, so patrons can walk the paths without worrying about stepping on dog poop.

It was nice to see some tropical Flora during our stay. Some parts are a little run down but mostly in a charming sort of way. I did see some bits of trash in the river which is unfortunate, but most of the place was clean. In the end it was only 5mil per person to get in, so it was definitely worth it.

Saint Pio Park, also known as San Pío Park, is a well-known urban green space in Bucaramanga. It features a captivating bronze sculpture of a naked woman created by the renowned artist Fernando Botero. Originally named after Guillermo Sorzano Gonzalez, an esteemed former mayor of Santander's capital city, this park was established in the late 1950s on land donated by the Puyana family.
Really nice place in Bucaramanga. With nice places for coffee or eating nearby. Also, with very nice activities and sculptures, just like one of the famous Colombian artist Fernando Botero.

This park is a nice area to walk around, especially on Sundays when there’s a farmers market. It’s not the cleanest, but it is nice. There’s a lady there that sells Mandarin juice that has been there for probably the past 19 years and it’s great. It cost about a dollar for a cup of it. The trees are wonderful and beautiful. It has a lot of vegetation. There are restaurants all around the park and people selling things all over the place. It’s nice to just go walk around.
While it is not a very large Park, it is well appointed. The people come and enjoy the day. Let their kids play. There is plenty to see and do in this small Park including the famous statue.
At the time that I came to this park in September, there was really nothing beautiful about it. I was disappointed because I heard Bucaramanga was a city of beautiful parks but so far, I have been quite disappointed with the parts that I have seen. The pictures that I see online are nothing like what I experienced. I came during a weekday, and the park was full of neighbouring workers, having their lunch and people just lounging and relaxing. The famous woman statue was under construction, so a good part of the park was closed down. The grass looked yellow and dry and looked nothing like the luscious vibrant green colours shown online in the photos. I also found that there was a little bit of garbage here and there around the park. Basically the trees looked like they were dry and dying. I go to parks to get away from the noise and the traffic. Parks are a little oasis where I can get in touch with nature. This one just seemed like an urban patch of dry yellow grass in the middle of a noisy crowded area. The good thing is I was able to log onto a Wi-Fi zone and call an Uber from there. Many Ubers dropped the trip before arriving because apparently a part of the park is a no parking zone so it’s hard to catch an Uber. I was curious to see what the park looked like so I don’t regret coming, but in someways I do feel I saw nothing and it was a waste of my time. I would not come here to picnic or even for my kids to play. I am sure there are better parks in Bucaramanga. Perhaps I am spoiled as a Canadian, who saw many beautiful parks, not only in my own in the world. This one was quite disappointing.
It has some sculptures and a playground for kids, but it is abandoned because it is rust. There is garbage on the floor and this place should have a gardening maintenance.
Nice place, mostly clean, feels mostly safe, however there's nothing too interesting about visiting it. I wish there were more excitement in this place like public activities or concerts.

It's a nice park but it's ruined by people smoking marijuana there 24/7.
Keep this in mind especially if you have children.
This area used to be a popular nightspot featuring several fun bars but most of them have now closed. There is Dominos pizza and a couple of decent restaurants. The park itself is quite small but still attracts dog walkers and it is lavishly decorated for Christmas holidays.
It's a nice park. It's safe, it has free WiFi, and it's pretty cute, specially did for picnics although I've never seen anyone do it. Although it's pretty small it's a perfect meeting place.

I was excited to see an Asian Bistro in Bucaramanga with overall great reviews. I have been here two times. First time, 5 stars for this place. The services is great, the food is great and the atmosphere is cozy and fancy. They have a variety of options that are well decently made. I am giving 4 stars because of my 2nd visit. I ordered a tuna dish where the fish was not fresh and got me sick almost right away for multiple days. I don’t give them a 1 star because it is very hard to deal with seafood and overall this restaurant works hard to provide a great experience. I will come back but I would avoid the raw fish dishes.

I was amazed to find such level of food in B/Manga and the service was great except the Hostess which she had no idea of what she was doing there and upon leaving the restaurant she was just seating in the area of the customers speaking by the phone and in resting sandals (when we arrive she was in high heels) She is the only Black Spot of this Restaurant...

Emiro, the sushi chef, was the absolute best. All his suggestions were top notch.
I don’t even know where to start. Zekkei was so bad that we didn’t even bother staying — we walked in and immediately walked right back out. The place smelled off, the atmosphere was depressing, and the staff couldn’t have cared less about us stepping through the door. If the first impression is supposed to set the tone, theirs screamed “Run while you can.”
Save yourself the disappointment — there are way better options literally anywhere else.

Having had a fabulous meal here two years ago I was expecting great things. My food was no more than adequate. The service was truly superb. The problem came at the end of the meal when I noticed the price was a good bit more than I was expecting. Having been offered the menu in English without asking for it, or needing it, it transpires that the menu in Spanish has the new, higher prices. This was the explanation, but not the solution. No refund offered, which is just poor policy. I just could not be bothered arguing the point at the time, but I wish I had now. Hamburguesas El Garaje – Cabecera is hands down one of the best places in Bucaramanga if you’re craving a high-quality burger in a cool, social atmosphere. This spot is located in a very lively part of town, surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and nightlife — definitely one of the city’s premier foodie areas. The restaurant itself has three floors: the ground level dining area, an upper section with more tables, and a top floor where they often feature live music and bands, which adds to the fun, rock-inspired vibe. The theme mixes motorcycles, rock culture, and an American-style burger bar feel.
For food, I ordered one of their Rock Burgers (recommended by my waiter) along with a house salad and a drink. The burger was excellent — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and a great portion size with plenty of meat and toppings. Their fries were crisp and well-spiced, a perfect side. The house salad was surprisingly impressive for a burger joint: a generous bowl loaded with avocado, fresh strawberries, and mango, topped with cheese and dressing. The only small hiccup was that the salad arrived at the same time as the burger instead of before, but that’s a minor service detail and didn’t take away from the overall experience.
Prices are very fair for the quality. My full meal (burger, salad, drink) came to around 91,000 COP (about $22 USD with tip) — excellent value given the portion sizes, service, and ambiance. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out in good time despite it being freshly made.

We arrived mid afternoon to El Garaje. Server took our drinks order, and then 10 minutes later he took our food order. He came back after a while to tell us that they were out of bottled water, and they also did not have the lemonade I ordered. It took about an hour to get the food out (drinks came after). The order was all messed up, items were mixed, and our server order one burger less. I also received a different burger than what I had asked. We tried to speak to the manager to tell him our total dissatisfaction, but there was no manager available, the waiters were rude and were arguing that our order was difficult because it had many add-ons. Then when they brought the check, they had added stuff we had not ordered. In summary, this was probably one of the worst experiences eating out that I’ve had. And nobody seemed to care!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! This is a place you don’t want to go!!

Solid mall in a great location. Despite the name, it’s not the biggest mall around, but it’s well laid out and easy to navigate — just one main loop across three floors, which makes it simple to get in, shop, and not get lost.
There are about 50 shops, a cinema, and a good food court with plenty of burger spots (attached a photo of one I tried). Clean, organized, and convenient overall. Easy access and a nice place to spend an afternoon.

I recently met a new acquaintance, Sebastian Barrios, who is familiar with Real Salt Lake, the soccer club from our city, as he plays for Bucaramanga. He proved to be a kind and helpful individual. Be weary if your Spanish isn't too good. Many people waiting to take advantage of you. An old hag took advantage of my lack of Spanish and conned me of my money. I ended up paying 14,000 pesos for 3 carrots and a lettuce. It's best to not speak more than necessary to the sellers if your Spanish isn't great and just stick to asking the prices (cuanto es), rather than letting them know you're a tourist or non native.
Pretty good market. Lots to offer and reasonable prices. There are better, but it’s very convenient, and there are some great vendors of ‘queso de hoja’ - they also don’t charge you extra for being foreign, which is refreshing.

One plus side is that there is a parking. Affluent neighborhood, but this park is not kept well at all. Actually it is very dangerous due to missing access cov we r in the middle of walkway, cracked and ris3n walkway due to tree roots etc.

They sell 5 for $13000 COP, but all of them don't make one empanada that in other places sell for less than $4000 COP. The lechona ones don't have anything of meat, and the "pipian" ones are mostly fried corn flour. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I don't understand the good rating for this place. I found it to be quite overpriced for the quality of food. Half of my ribeye steak was tough, inedible tendons. It didn't have a proper sear on it, and this may be my fault for ordering "azul", but I didn't realize that might entail a steak so rare it's hardly cooked. The salad was overly sweet and of unimaginative and cheap quality, using canned fruits. The crème brulee was quite tasty, though. The Zekkei and Mia Nonna properties are both significantly better choices, in my opinion.

First time at here and didn’t disappoint at all. I got chicken milanesa with a bed of pasta and a topping of green salad with Iberic ham and was delicious, was a big portion and tasted very well. Service with my server was really good and prices worth for the quality and quantity. Dessert on the menu looked great but I was full so I couldn’t try any but I will be back to try. Also the other dishes in my table looked amazing and good portions. Highly recommended there is a parking garage in front and few authorized spots on the street next to the restaurant.

Is a good restaurant, I recommend “onces santanderanas” as light breakfast, there are other options to breakfast. It has good service and complies with biosecurity protocols. There are several dishes to eat. We pay $200.000 COP for 9 breakfast.
This was the 2nd Tony's location we visited and the experience was just as delightful as the Florida Floridablanca spot. The service was friendly, professional, helpful and prompt. The food was deliciously filled with flavor, promptly delivered, attractively presented and well priced. I had the Cabrito Pepitoria, ams was very happy with it. As the name suggests, Tony serves a great breakfast.
The service was very kind an attentive, but the caldo I had was completely mediocre and totally overpriced. 25.000 pesos for a caldo de costilla and an arepa, and they were nothing special. Hopefully their other food is better
A nice restaurant to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The dishes are delicious and more than enough to fill you up. I wasn't able to finish everything that ordered which was sad because it tasted great but I was so full. However, the restaurant is a bit pricey but I suppose the big portions cover the cost.
This is the second time we have a bad experience. It was for years one of the best typical restaurant in Bucaramanga for traditional food and taste. But the service is so rude beyond the culture thing, the food well it is not the best! In Bucaramanga is common to get a lot food in every plate here is not like that anymore. The oreada meat had a strange flavor, the dishes were served "dirty" with rests of other food not served in the plate on it...the restaurant is just a nice memory of better years.

Christmas decorations are beautiful. The park seems to come to life at night specially because of all the people that go there go hang out and/or work out.
right now (early 2019) half is under construction, during the day can be really hot but it is also windy. there's a big sculpture on the middle of the square, surrounded some by big trees, middle size sports fields and a playground for kids. is possible on the afternoon but mainly after twilight to find groups of weed smokers under the trees.
Relaxed and safe place to have a nice day out. There is a bike exclusive road inside, a lot of trees to sit under, a lot of space for your pet to have fun.

I really like this place. I came here about 7 years ago and found it to be interesting and enjoyable. This is a really nice little museum. I really enjoyed the garden too, it's a small haven of freshness under the suffocating heat of the city. The paintings were very interesting and as far as I understand the exhibition changes regularly so there's always something new to see and admire.

There is a very nice and old fashioned place. You will find two big rooms , very well illuminated , in which you could watch paintings, drawings and photography. Also, a big patio where some sculptures, video and other performances are shown. These patio connect with a big Garden, plenty of trees, some sculptures and a kiosk for performances; also, there are tables with umbrellas, it's a very relaxing place! Seems like there's a restaurant or a bar, but not in service when I visited this museum.
It's quite tiny and I really think a museum of this kind for a city the size of Bucaramanga should be roomier or at least better organized. Despite that, I really liked the exposition, the quietness and the places coziness. Maybe a café and events with live music would be the perfect booster combination for this museum.

I am a Canadian tourist in Bucaramanga and came to this park thinking this was actually going to be a beautiful, relaxing park in nature. This is not really a park but a square. It is located in a busy part of town. There are a bunch of vendors, all lined up and a few benches. Some of the local workers eat their lunch there. This is not a place to picnic or for kids to play. It’s just a square strip in the middle of the city. I was pretty disappointed. Walked around for two minutes and then left. Not worth the visit in my opinion.

This is a great concept for a small community performing arts center. A permanent exposition center for all of the arts privately funded by a businessman in the City who cares deeply about the availability of venues for serious artists.
