Krabi Town Night Market is a lively weekend market offering a variety of food, clothing, and souvenirs. Visitors can enjoy live music and find seating to relax while exploring the stalls. While Krabi Town may not be as popular as neighboring Ao Nang or Railay, it boasts several attractions such as Tiger Cave Temple, Mu Koh Hong, Railay Beaches & Caves, and more. This small provincial capital has plenty to offer for a one or two-day itinerary.
This market is open only on the weekend evenings including Friday. Various stalls sell souvenirs, clothes and food. Decent quality and prices but vendors do not bargain much here. Varieties of local food are available in the stalls. As such the market is not big, you can cover in about an hour.
Chhanda B — Google review
Better come around 6pm, the stalls would be ready. Lots of food options. Good vibe while enjoying the meal. 🎬2025.8.17

Quaint little market. Very quiet. The downside, tables are for beer drinking only. Nowhere to sit with food only. Probably the only time I didn't have a beer. 🤷

I really enjoyed visiting Aonang Night Market! There were lots of food stalls with delicious local dishes and snacks. The atmosphere was lively with music and friendly vendors. Great place to experience local culture and try Thai street food. Highly recommended for an evening walk!

This is a huge shopping arcade in Krabi close to the famous beach. This market completely functional in the evening and looks great in night. Has multiple local food, indian restaurants, shopping stores, street shops, desert outlets, massage center and much more. Night life is great here and one can spent 4-5 hours easily and can still visit it the next day. A lot of live shows, fire shows, concerts happen every day. There are clubs in this market where you can enjoy a few drinks with delicious food options.
Siddharth G — Google review
It's a big market. There are many shops where you can buy dresses, handmade ornaments, and local foods. There is also amusement activity like rides or shooting. Open music performance is very alive there that was available at night. The price of goods seemed almost the same compared to the other places.

Krabi Town Night Market is a vibrant and lively spot that’s perfect for experiencing local culture. It offers a great variety of delicious street food, unique handmade crafts, clothes, and souvenirs and all at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is energetic with live music, performances, and friendly vendors. It’s a great place to try local Thai dishes and explore different flavors. Perfect for an evening stroll, people-watching, and soaking in the local vibe. Definitely worth a visit while in Krabi!

Krabi Night Market is a vibrant and cultural hotspot that offers tourists a glimpse into the local traditions. Visitors can immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere, explore local products, and enjoy live performances while savoring exotic drinks at places like Bang Bang Bar. The market also provides an opportunity to engage with the community and learn about their culture. Additionally, nearby Tha Khong Kha is a popular spot for authentic evening meals featuring dishes such as somdam and wok-fried noodles.
Amazing food and even more amazing owner. The food is delicious. We visited twice and had several dishes. Two types of fish (fried and teamed with ginger). I was allowed to cook my own dish (morning glory). We also had a desert- mango with sticky rice. Was really good. เลขที่ 4/1 ปากน้ำ ปากน้ำ, Tambon Pak Nam, Mueang Krabi District, Krabi 81000, תאילנד

Cute market in Krabi Town. Decent amount of foods and lots of fruits to choose from. Love the local vendors they're always friendly and approachable with big smiles. I had a fish burger It was pretty tasty 😋 super cheap

Easy walking next to river. Usual items plus a few small bars and a large sitting area with music. Worth the stop if you are in the area at night. I got a salad and passed on the bugs. 😂

As a Malayali from Kerala, I wasn’t very familiar with the flavors of Thai cuisine. But I’m happy to say it truly delighted both my taste buds and my soul. I tried fried egg and rice, and stir-fried mixed vegetables—sticking to safer options to avoid any food-related infections.

Very nice, authentic place with typical Thai meals. We ate pad thai (photo of the chef), it was very good and rice with two sides - hot as hell! Delicious :) the owner is giving a little samples to taste what you like. Prices very good, 40-50 bht for dish.

. While i have been complaining about Ao Nang’s food all week - Krabi Town Night Market is a must visit. It serves very unique selections of local Thai food from various districts. We couldn’t figure out which to choose, so we ended up having much more than we could fit in our stomachs. The spicy fish and chicken feet noodle is so delicious. The toasted cashews with caramel on a leaf was a first for me. The nuts were fresh and super crunchy. The sausages and mooping were also amazing! We had curry noodles and some other snacks. The star though - the pink pomelo. So sweet and fragrant! Amazing! Oh we also had some orange and passionfruit juice as well as a pennywort juice (so bitter!! ) 🤣 ✨Overall Score: 8.5/10 ✨ ****************************** Can Eat One Mehhh??? Yeap!! It’s a little far if you stay in Ao Nang - but it is worth a trip.

Touristic but that makes it easy to try many different foods. Many vegan and vegetarian options. Next time I would bring my own reusable dishes. The plastic consumption is huge.
Ira M — Google review
Very fun night market, with lots of choices of food and drink. There are mainly tourists in there but the vibe was great, clean tables and most (if not every stall) makes you sit down and they take the food to you once it's ready. Most of the stall owners speak English or at least enough to communicate with tourists

The Andaman Cultural Study Center in Krabi province offers a deep dive into the region's history dating back 2,000 years. The center features offbeat artwork, sculptures, and a beads museum showcasing beautiful artworks. While it may not be a major part of your travel itinerary, those interested in Andaman culture will enjoy exploring the exhibitions. Visitors can spend around an hour to see all the displays and appreciate local and international artists' works.
The fascinating museum telling story of beans from the history, shapes, material and step be step to process from big stone to tiny bean.
Kasemsan P — Google review
Interesting exhibition of glass beads history and manufacture plus a 3 floor art gallery. 100 baht for tourists. One room has an extensive collection of strung beads, some of which are clearly old but none have dates or periods marked.
Ian H — Google review
Beautiful collection of beads and art. Good displays and use of space. A great way to spend a few hours on a rainy afternoon.
David R — Google review
It was nice, the exhibition about history of beads was very interesting. The exhibition of paintings and art was not too big but very nice, found a few pieces which caught my eye. Tickets 100 bht per person.
Piotr C — Google review
Entrance fee for 200bht. I'm not sure if I can say it was worthy cuz it's like, museum but empty. However, since there's no place that you can learn about history of Krabi city, this is kind of only place that you can learn about history of Krabi. In old days, Krabi was an important route for beads tradings and they had their own bead as well. It's not sure if they were producing by themselves but there are some beads that only found in Krabi. You can see what people in old days loved and how Krabi was a point for trading such luxuries. They only accept cash so I couldn't purchase souvenirs. You need to prepare luke thousands of bht if you are interested in beads. Their art exhibition was not something special. And you can see how beads are produced. Mostly take a hour to look around.
Drink ( — Google review
A nice, peaceful place worth visiting. A small entrance fee is charged for tourists. The gallery is spacious, showcasing works by local artists and providing detailed information about the origin of the “stones.” At the end of the tour, it’s worth stopping by the shop, where the lovely staff can make custom amulets from natural, symbolic stones. We recommend visiting with children.
Monika — Google review
On the first day of our trip, we visited this museum, which has a large collection of bead artifacts. Once you enter this museum, you will feel that you are in a different world. You can see different shapes and colors of beads and can buy them too.
Dr. S — Google review
It was amazing and I am quite sad that there were so little other visitors. I can only recommend this museum! The small exhibition about beads is the most visually beautiful exhibition that I have visited in my life. I went through all the art exhibitions as well. There are local and international artists. Some is paintings are abstract other arent. It is a very nice mixture. The entire museum is for free what is just crazy!

Chao Fah Park is a charming city park located in Krabi town, popular among tourists and locals alike. The park features an array of large, creative sculptures and picturesque walking paths along the waterfront of the Krabi River. Visitors can explore the nearby Krabi Walking Street market to sample local delicacies or take a longtail boat trip to Railay Bay for rock climbing adventures.
Delightful during the day, but even better at night with food stalls, colourful lighting and arousing atmosphere.

Very nice park on the river. Beautiful area with walkway along the river with piers where the boats moor and leave, bars, restaurants, hotels with rooftop. Nice to watch the hustle and bustle on the delta.

Brilliant. A long park next to the river. Tennis courts. Jogging tracks and a river walkway 5km long!
John A — Google review
A peaceful spot right by the river, perfect for a morning walk or just chilling in the evening. There’s a long riverside path with the big crab's sculptures, and lots of locals just hanging out, jogging, or fishing. Felt very local and relaxed. In the evening, there’s a small street food scene that pops up, super casual but some great snacks if you’re hungry (grilled chicken and sticky rice hit the spot). It’s also really close to the night market, so it’s easy to wander over after grabbing a bite. What I liked most was the mix of nature and people-watching. Boats pass by on the river, kids are playing, and you get a nice breeze. It’s not a “tourist attraction” in the traditional sense, but if you want a quiet place to sit and soak in the vibe of Krabi Town, this is it. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, even just for a sunset walk.
Akhil R — Google review
Chaofah Park is one of the tourist attraction and visited place in Krabi town beside the Krabi river. The park has a nice walkway to roaming and walking beside the river. The tsunami memorial, crab and eagle monument also found on the walkways. Krabi night market also can be found on the park which offer so many delicious food and desserts to the visitors. But in the evening some point is getting dark and felt uncomfortable with my family. So it is wise to carry a pocket torch. And we found a small coffee and street food shop beside the #Seven7Eleven who offer delicious food and drinks with reasonable price. And the view in the evening with food from that shop is undoubtedly best for any other shop around them. I wish to visit that place again...:)

I've lived in Krabi and always drive past this place, but this is my first time visiting, and I wish I had come earlier. The place has great vibes, and I really love the yellow wall with the green window. The food is also fantastic—this was my first time trying blue cheese, and it was better than I expected. Highly recommended! 😋

We were met with smiles and greetings by the owners. They asked us what we liked and made different suggestions to what suited our “cravings”. We had pasta and pizza. It was really really nice. Simple dishes but with so much taste (Photos are from second visit) Also a nice selection of beer. Very sweet people and wonderful food - we will be back tomorrow!! If you visit Krabi, go visit Bistro Monaco!

Excellent Pizza and other Italian and international food. Excellent bruschetta as well. Coffee is perfect. Exceptional service. My family has eaten here about 60 times, and have had very pleasurable experiences each and every time. Highly recommended. Best pizza in Krabi Town. Best restaurant atmosphere in Krabi IMHO.. I almost forgot to mention... ask Martin about the dark German beer that Vern likes - it's the best beer I've had in Thailand. Cheers!

I was about try this heigh-end steakhouse… before my shuttle back to Ko Lanta. But they said I had 15 min before the shuttle left. So decided to try this KFC and take the food to go for the bus and what a good decision this was. The staff here are amazing… accommodating and the food was classic KFC from the time the colonel was alive. The chicken was prepared and cooked to perfection. Mashed potatoes were exactly as they should be and had extra gravy. I’ve come back here and this place consistently deliver the same high quality of chicken.

Uno Restaurant, formerly known as Firenze, has relocated to Maharaj Soi 10 and is a must-visit for Italian cuisine enthusiasts. The menu features crispy pizzas and delectable pasta dishes such as house-made gnocchi and fettuccine with flavorful sauces. Uno's egg pastas, ravioli, and pizza dough are all made from scratch. Visitors praise the friendly service and reasonable prices.
An authentic taste of Italy in Krabi! We were craving comfort food and loved our meals here. I highly recommend the fried squid, it tasted exactly like the calamari in Italy. We loved the handmade gnocchi pomodoro and the pizza margarita was enough for two people. Authentic, fresh and delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Very nice meal. Prices reasonable. Some nice touches we don’t see much in Italian restaurants in Thailand.

Here is very good Italian food in town that I would recommend. The vibe here is really nice not too busy, The staff gives a really good advice, I ordered half Alla uno and four cheese pizza and it was delicious. If staying at town, it’s a good spot when you are tired and don’t want to go too far.
Pannawish T — Google review
We came because the reviews were good and left pretty disappointed. We ordered the lasagna, ravioli, gnocchi, pasta and pizza. The gnocchi was the only dish that was good, the rest we just ok and my stomach was really bad after having the veggie lasagna (which was basically layered with mushrooms and only had some cheese on the top). They were weird about providing any balsamic olive oil with the bread (I’m not sure what we were otherwise supposed to eat it with). Also the wine is only sold by the bottle and unless you recognise any of the options it’s a hit or miss for a not so cheap entire bottle.
Atara S — Google review
I came here with such high expectations… from the past review… calling it the best Italian. It’s never a good idea to go in with high expectations. Personal opinion, the food was okay. I’ve had much much better Italian in Thailand. The pizza bread was too thin and dry, the lasagna wasn’t cheesy enough and the cheese wasn’t the high grade with the nice stretch. It was decent food. Probably the best Italian you’ll find in Krabi.
David Z — Google review
We came here on our last night in Krabi and we wish we hadve discovered this place sooner! We got pizza and fresh pasta and both dishes were spectacular - very fresh ingredients and super tasty! Service was great too , very friendly staff. Highly recommend :)

No no no Noooooo. It's just not a warm welcoming place. I honestly felt like I was imposing... right from when I walked in! I had the spaghetti seafood. The shrimp were not plump and soft. The spaghetti was ok. The squid was a bit tough. The garlic bread was terrible! 70 baht for bread... Not cool at all. The man... Owner /manager... He couldn't care less about me.. Seriously ... Not even sawadee. He was chatting with a Thai family the whole time. He treated the other table of foreigners the same way.. Total indifference to their presence Rude! Thailand has been in the tourism biz for 30 years and 99%vof these places have zero clue on how to care for Western customers. I've lived in Thailand 10 years... this was a very poor experience.

Maharat Bakery in Krabi is a hidden gem known for its fantastic homemade breads and recipes. Despite being closed to the public on holidays, the hospitable owners went out of their way to serve tourists who wanted to try their breakfast. The husband and wife team offers a fantastic selection of food and bread, making it a place not to miss. Visitors can enjoy delicious sandwich options made with freshly baked bread, including incredible ciabatta, suitable for vegetarians as well.
On my last day in Krabi, I wanted to try out some English breakfast, when I came across this small outlet. The owner is a graceful lady who bakes her own bread and believe me, the bread we had was superb. We ordered the Maharat special English breakfast and the platter (one in the picture) was so so good. It had two large bread pieces, beacon, scrambled eggs, and few more items. I could wake up in the morning and eat this everyday. Totally enjoyed my brunch here. Would highly recommend to tourists and travelers. I couldn’t try their Panini but I saw many locals taking a lot of parcels of this dish. One can try that too.

I’m just finishing my breakfast. I had the Majarat Breakfast, and I enjoyed it. I wasn’t a fan of the beans, but everything else was very good, and the wheat toast was exceptional. It was a short walk from my hotel, and I plan to come back for lunch, maybe tomorrow. The lunch menu looks delicious.

I come to Maharat Bakery now for some years to get Breakfast when I‘m in Krabi. Also we take Bread back to the Island for Breakfast there. I does not matter if you Buy Bread, eat some Panini, Cake or other food directly in the Restaurant. Everything here is so well made and is soo delicious. I‘m sure, there is something that everyone can like to get here. The Staff is just amazing, so lovely and Caring! Sunday is usually the only day I‘m not here for Breakfast, because they are closed then.

Ordered the salami sourdough sandwich and the salami slices were transparent thin, thus no salami flavor. It was more like a vegetable sandwich with processed cheese. The bread was ok.

"A Hidden Gem in Krabi!" My girlfriend and I stopped by Maharat Bakery & Restaurant during our vacation in Krabi, and we were genuinely impressed. I had the Cuban sandwich, served on freshly baked ciabatta — perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside — with a flavorful, well-balanced filling. It came with crispy golden fries that complemented the meal beautifully. My girlfriend chose the falafel, which was fresh, well-seasoned, and served with care. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If you're in Krabi and looking for a delicious, well-prepared meal, this place is definitely worth a visit

Found this place on our journey through krabi town. The shop is owned by a dutch master baker that really knows how to cook! They have a lot of thai and farang food and is the perfect place for lunch. We went back for the Dutch breakfasts! Eggs, toast and cheese. Fairly priced and definitely a place to visit if you're missing home cooked food.
