Bodegas Chandon offers a delightful experience with its beautifully manicured French garden, friendly staff, and a variety of activities to enjoy. Visitors can spend the whole day here, starting with a gourmet lunch or a picnic in the garden. The tour of the grounds is informative and engaging, followed by a fun tasting session featuring their delicious sparkling wines. Many recommend this place for its great reception, knowledgeable hosts, and excellent selection of wines.
We visited Chandon with my family and we had the Premium experience, it really exceeded our expectations, Sofia was amazing a very fun and engaging host, she shared her knowledge and tips about pairing, we had an amazing view of the garden from our table under a beautiful tree, it was an incredible experience! Don’t miss it if you come to Mendoza

Initial impression of the lawn and layout are absolutely gorgeous! Very pretty and scenic. The tour guides were thorough. Aylén was amazing and went out of her way to provide a customized experience! We wished that all of the tours had English options, but even so, we enjoyed ourselves.

A wonderful afternoon. We stopped by on a Sunday to have a quick look and ended up staying for a few hours. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The grounds are lovely and really lovely for enjoying a glass of wine. The most important part was how lovely the staff were. Great fun.
Graham D — Google review
If you like sparkling wines with a lovely garden, you have found the right place. Nice facility tour, and an even better tasting. Really enjoyed their apéritif, it was a refreshing summer drink. After the tasting, we casually enjoyed their picnic lunch under the trees with some brut. We had easy and on-time transportation by @vyvtraslados Octavio was our driver, nice friendly guy (who speaks English) and he provided all travel for our 4 day stay. Excellent new van and car.

it was a wonderful visit. Our guide Mateo was very friendly and he explained us about the chandon history and the production of the sparking wine. He also gave us background about the social status of chandon and don perignon. The gardens of chandon and staff were excellent. We recommend this visit.
Cynpla — Google review
Our visit to Chandon was simply outstanding. We were guided by Pilar, who was not only knowledgeable but also warm and engaging throughout the tour. She walked us through the entire factory, explaining each step of the sparkling wine production process with clarity and passion. The wine tasting at the end was a perfect finale, allowing us to fully appreciate the flavors and craftsmanship behind each bottle. Pilar’s enthusiasm and expertise made the experience truly memorable.

Lovely winery that has eco-friendly production. The owner (Riciardo) is a perfect host. They serve not only great wines but also very nice food!

We came here spontaneously as a group of 5 and had the absolute best experience. The owner was very caring, sat with us at the table and explained everything very well. It might be small, but definitely don’t underestimate it! We had visited 12 bodegas over the last days, and we absolutely enjoyed this one the most. I bought two bottles of wine and if my luggage would have allowed it, it would have been more. I highly recommend it! He is also doing lunch if you contact him advance, we wanted to come back but due to time issues not able to. Extra cherry on the top: the dogs are the cutes!

Ricardo and Enzo gave us an unbelievable winery experience. We stayed there for 3h, really learning what wine testing should be. Besides this, the wines are just exquisite, especially the discontinued 2007 sauvignon blanc.

(Translated by Google) Very good experience. A sustainable winery and the only one in Latin America underground. The visit is short and free of charge. Yes with reservation. Ricardo, the owner of the winery, assists you and explains everything to us since we don't know anything about wines nor are we wine drinkers. I went for the visit and ended up eating an exquisite lasagna and wine tasting in the sun. Very low cost, everything excellent and top quality wines. I ended up wearing a pair. A genius Ricardo! (Translated by Google) The winery is beautiful and unique because it's an underground winery with an interesting approach to sustainability. The organic wine is delicious. We had a good time because we went with a group of friends and enjoyed it. I'm giving it one star because they basically ripped us off with the price of the four-course lunch (which wasn't four courses, since one was a salad and the dessert was a banana) and charged us three times more for a wine that was supposed to be a complimentary upgrade. The owner tried to be very friendly, but he had very strict opinions on everything, and it was as if he wanted to dictate what he said. It seems he's lost his temper or isn't interested in tourists. The view is very beautiful, as is the area; we took some nice photos. It's very expensive compared to other wineries, expensive for what they offer. The owner gave us a bottle at the end; it was the least he could do after charging us three times more.

We loved our tasting at this winery. Beautiful, state of the art facility. Mauro spent over an hour with us on a tour of this beautiful winery. We got to choose the 5 wines we wanted to taste which we did in a tasting room upstairs with a great view! Excellent wines! Excellent experience.
Dania D — Google review
To start with, delicious wines. I enjoyed every single one I tasted. I had a wonderful tour in English with Mauro. He explained everything very well and answered all of our questions. We began outside with the vines and toured through the facility, as he explained everything along the way. We finished first outside with the beautiful view and then sat down for our tasting, which included some nice cheese and crackers and fruits and nuts to enjoy along with the tasting. This was definitely my favorite tour and my favorite wines I have tried in Mendoza.

Fantastic trip to Budequer today - Mauro was extremely knowledgable and provided a great tour of the facility and vineyards despite the 40 degree heat!! Wine was also superb! Would definitely recommend a visit to this beautiful vineyard.

What a great winery! We managed to get in without a reservation and though they offered just a tasting we opted for the tour. Glad we did! Nate was amazing telling us everything there was to know and spoiled us with generous tastings. The site is beautiful and cool that they incorporate local artists into their building. The wines were delicious (especially the winemakers blend) and the prices were pretty good! Definitely recommend.
Scott B — Google review
We had such a lovely and personalised tour by Mauro. The wines were so good, especially for the price! The Corte de Bodega was outstanding (only $6,400 pesos) as Mauro mentioned their wine is produced for local consumption as opposed to mass exportation. To us this was a must for anyone wanting great wine and service without paying for a label!!! All other staff were also excellent with arranging transport back to the city (thank you once again Valentina).

Visited Bodega Zolo, a delightful restaurant and hotel with breathtaking vistas. The cuisine was exceptional, complemented by an exquisite ambiance. Dining amidst vineyards and the majestic Andes provided a unique experience. Enthusiastic guide Juan offered an informative tour of the winery, sharing insights on the process of crafting fine wines. The quality of their wines was truly outstanding.

This was a very special wine tour for me...tour for a group of one! It was amazing! He let me sample from the large vats as well as from oak barrels. It was really cool.
Martha N — Google review
The tour is very cheap, only 8000 per person at the time, which is a big plus. And it was fun to try wines directly from the barrels and tanks. But the wines are, to my opinion, just tables wines, and the winery lacks soul.

Our recent experience at this winery was disappointing. We called to make a reservation for a group of 6, only to arrive and be told it was booked for four. This miscommunication set the tone for the rest of our visit, which was riddled with issues. Upon arrival, we learned that the winery had changed their menu without informing us when we booked. This left us facing a much higher price than expected and a completely different selection. When we asked if it was possible to have some of the items from the menu that we were originally sent, we were told "no." It was disappointing to see such inflexibility and a surprising lack of empathy. The pairing experience itself was poorly executed. The wines didn’t arrive with the food, disrupting the intended pairings and creating a disjointed experience. It felt like no thought was put into timing or presentation, leaving us feeling disappointed and disconnected from what should have been an enjoyable event. On a positive note, the food itself was of great quality, with excellent taste and beautiful presentation. It’s unfortunate that such a well-prepared meal was overshadowed by the lack of service and accommodation.

All surrounded by vineyards and lots of greenery... orchards, etc. There is peace and passion for what they do. It is a small family winery with excellent quality wines (I recommend the Enlace, which are wines aged 18 months in oak barrels and only 4900 bottles per year). Also thank Giuliana who welcomed us, showed us the place and we had a very pleasant chat. Without a doubt, the friendliness and kindness gives a warm touch to the place to which we will return. Request pricing before eating. Charged $75/person for the 3-course meal. God knows how much the 9-course meal was. Recommended by the security guard at bodega zapata down the road. Lunch was good, but the bill was higher than expected.

Stopped by for lunch with no reservations. Could only order a $45/person cheese platter with 2 low end wine tasting. So for $90 you get cheese, bread, 5 other various dips and what equals 2 glasses of their bottom quality wine. We were offered a better option that we could have purchased another glass for $12.

Catena Zapata is a renowned winery with a main building designed in Mayan style, famous for its high-altitude Malbec. Founded by Nicola Catena, an Italian immigrant, the winery initially adhered to ancient Italian traditions before transitioning to incorporate Californian-French techniques inspired by Napa Valley customs. Visitors have raved about their exceptional wine tours and tastings, praising the knowledgeable guides and top-notch experience.
Our favorite wine tour in Mendoza. The legendary winery and iconic structure are truly one-of-a-kind. We loved the wine blending class and learned so much from our fantastic host Paula. Her viticultural expertise and descriptive skill absolutely made the day. Make Catena Zapata a must-visit!
Kenny S — Google review
Visiting Catena Zapata was an extraordinary experience. They exemplify the clear vision of a family business committed to bringing Argentine wine to the highest level of quality, variety, and research, and sharing this with the world. The winery is an architectural gem that pays homage to the Mayan culture. Its wines are gems in Mendoza that deserve to be discovered and enjoyed. The hospitality team's attention was unbeatable. Pablo explained the wines with the passion any family member would have, but Daniel ultimately finished with a flourish by showing us a distillery that in five years will proclaim to the world that good things come to those who wait. Catena Zapata is a must-see if you come to Mendoza, and if not, it's worth the trip to experience this magnificent project, a blend of extraordinary wines, art, architecture, gastronomy, culture, and the finest people.

Recommend their tasting tour with music 🎵, nice history and legacy too. Nico gave a small group of us the tour in English. His passion and knowledge made this a memorable visit, and the wines are exceptional too. The property is stunning! 2nd review…we enjoyed the tour so much we brought our 16 friends. Nico and the wines were outstanding! Highly recommend.
Jon P — Google review
We contacted the winery directly via Whatapp a month prior and only a 9.30am tour was available in english, so I would suggest booking at least 2-3 months ahead! It was a very condensed tour which included a blending and tasting of 5 vineyard blocks of Malbec. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and we were able to purchase additional wine tastings from their enomatic dispensers in their store at the end of the tour.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! Me and my wife are huge fans of Catena Zapata’s wines, so during our trip to Mendoza it was a must-do thing number one. And huge thanks to Daniel, our dream came true, even though we couldn’t book a tour as it was all reserved already and for many weeks ahead . Daniel provided us a great tour around their new distillery place, kindly showed very excited and beautiful things and details and helped with choosing the wine for us to buy. And also we had a wonderful walk around to look on beautiful wineries and nature! Thanks a lot! Cheers Daniel, we already opened that bottle and it’s brilliant!

We had the pleasure of enjoying a private tour at the legendary Catena Zapata winery, and it was truly unforgettable. Danny guided us through the tour, sharing fascinating stories and history about the winery, which made the experience so engaging and special. The wine tasting with Carolina was equally amazing, her knowledge and passion made it even more enjoyable. To top it off, we visited the distillery beneath the Angelica Restaurant with Danny, where we discovered unique spirits. what an incredible experience! Thank you so much!

While I have not actually visited this particular winery, I thoroughly enjoy their wines here in Austin, Texas. I find them incredibly rich, complex, and incredibly satisfying to drink. They pair very well with hardy meats, tomato based dishes, and stews. They are all characterized by a strong nose and vibrant mouth feel with juicy notes and the region strongly coming through the wine. You can clearly taste the passion and I hope to someday visit this wonderful winery.

A beautiful vineyard and excellent tour. Maria and Rafa were super-friendly and helpful from our arrival and Maria was an excellent guide through our tour and tasting. The wines we tasted were remarkable - the gran Malbec and the gran Cabernet Franc were incredibly smooth. A great value tasting - we will definitely be buying a few bottles of these awesome wines.

We signed up for a last-minute visit to Pulenta Estate and were lucky enough to be hosted by Maria—what an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, Maria was warm, welcoming, and so attentive. Her knowledge of the wines, the history of the estate, and the region truly elevated the entire tasting. Out of the four wineries we visited during our time in Mendoza, Pulenta Estate was hands-down our favorite, and Maria played a huge part in that. Her passion for what she does comes through in every detail, and she made us feel right at home. I highly recommend a visit to Pulenta Estate

We had a tour and a wine tasting and it was amazing. (In English) One of the most beautiful bodegas we saw in Mendoza en the best service. It was interesting and unhurried. They helped us out with the taxi and many recommendations for the area. Also the Pulenta wine itself is amazing and they let you taste their star wines. Would 100% recommend and go back.

Amazing winery. Obviously the view is amazingly stunning. But more importantly the wines are good. We came without a reservation and luckily enough were offered a (private) tour and enjoyed it. They also have some vintage engines to be enjoyed by the connoisseurs ;). Rafa was amicable and really gave us all the info we wished to hear on this tour.

Had a great 3-course lunch experience here. Beautiful atmosphere and great food.
Lina A — Google review
We did a drop-in wine tasting recently here, asking to taste the high-end wines from this bodega. The server said yes. We were not served the better wines from Piattelli, only their entry level, mediocre wines. I learned later in day at in-town wine bar that the winery has much better wines available. Also, our server was somewhat inexperienced, pouring too little to adequately taste, and having limited knowledge of wines in general. The facility, however, was very nice. My recommendation- DO NOT do a drop in tasting here, a waste of time.

Delicious wines, beautiful place and great olive oil. Melisa was simply extraordinary. Muchas gracias!!!
Pablo S — Google review
We booked through the phone reservation service with no problem in English. Our reservation was confirmed by email. We had an excellent four course meal with wine pairings. The food presentation was spectacular, and the wines paired with the meal were excellent. We liked it so much, that we went back the very next day. If I couldn’t prove anything, it would be the view. We sat overlooking the pond, but could not really see the Vineyard or the mountains.

We had an amazing tour with Clarita this past weekend. She spoke both technically and creatively about the process of making the wine, and really brought the flavors to life during the tasting. Would highly recommend a tour here.

Carolina was an excellent English speaking host. Tasted Gran Reserva AND Icon Wines. Belasco de Baquedano winery offers satisfactory wine, accompanied by a stunning property. Visitors can indulge in a complete lunch and tasting experience while enjoying their stay.
We absolutely loved this wine tour! Our guide was super helpful and knowledgeable and it really was an unforgettable experience where we learned a ton about Malbec and how the wine in this region is produced. The winery also has an “aroma” room, which is a really cool experience. In this room, you learn about the different notes within the wine itself. It was fun to test out our sense of smell and pallet. Our guide also taught us about the proper way to taste Malbec and even brought me a glass or Torontes that was not on the tasting menu when he found out that it was a favorite of mine. We went on a Monday, so it was pretty slow and the kitchen was closed Would have loved to have eaten lunch here! The views are absolutely stunning, and this was our favorite winery of the three that we toured.

We enjoy a wonderful afternoon at Belasco de Baquedano. The food was exceptionally prepared and was paired very well with the chosen wines. We tried our very first Malbec Ice Wine and found it much more enjoyable than our very sweet Canadian Ice Wines. We had a great tour with Joanna and experienced the aroma room, where we smelled over 20 individual aromas that can be found in the different wines. We were honoured and grateful to meet Mikel Belasco, the President of the winery at the end of our tour and share our wonderful experience with him personally.

I would not host any event here. We were supposed to get married here. We live in Australia. After remote research, put close to a 600 USD deposit down site unseen. We wanted a specific date for our international wedding (I’m from the US, wife Argentina, but we live in Australia). We fly from Australia to Mendoza to primarily visit this winery and to figure out wedding details. We have a scheduled visit after 20 hours+ of flying. They didn’t realize we were there to do wedding planning. That could have been the fault of our wedding planner. No one from the winery seemed to care to answer any of our questions. We asked to try some food and we were told to come back in a few days. While the rooftop has a great view, the rest of the winery is dated and lacks maintenance. It just looks “worn out”. Pictures to prove it. Not exactly what we wanted for our international wedding. We asked to get our deposit back. “We’ll have to talk to the owners and get back to you”. Didn’t hear back. We then tried to do another event there for our wedding to use the deposit and they wouldn’t make it work. In the end, they just ignored giving us our deposit back. It’s a high volume winery that sells a lot of wine, it shows they simply don’t put effort into hosting events. With so many fantastic wineries in the region, go elsewhere. We did. We had an amazing wedding at Penedo Borges.
Dereck H — Google review
I had an incredible time at Belasco de Baquedano with their 5 course lunch. Each dish is paired with a wine from Malbec grapes, and you get exquisite views of the vineyard with beautiful seating both indoors and outdoors. I don’t have experience eating at vineyards, and haven’t been to others in the mendoza area, so I can’t speak to how this one compared to others, but the quality of food at this restaurant greatly surpassed similarly priced restaurants I visited in BA. I also loved that this winery in particular was filled with locals, I spoke with a group who came from vacation from BA and they seemed to love Belasco also (and they loved the wines so much at lunch that they bought some to take home, even though they’d already visited many wineries during their week in Mendoza). I went wine tasting in Norton winery close by (which I loved), so it’s possible I was predisposed to have favorable opinions due to coming a bit tipsy. If you’re coming from the states, make sure to have cash on you, because the dollar is really strong in Argentina right now because of how bad inflation is here, and the conversion rate is much better with cash currency exchange than paying with a credit card. I might not have the descriptions completely correct for what I had (I can’t find the menu online), but here were the delicious dishes I had here: 1. eggplant dip with sparkling wine and gluten free bread (made with chickpea flour) and local olive oil. 🍞 I’m not gluten free, they just give gluten free bread to everyone, and it was surprisingly wonderful! I love eggplant and thought this was a wonderful dish. 2. Hummus salad with fresh cheese, vegetables and crispy garbanzo beans with 18 month oak aged malbec 🥗. Salad was incredibly fresh and a beautiful blend of flavors and textures, definitely my favorite course, even though this is clearly not Argentinian. 3. Trout with a crispy potato latke and creamy sauce with a 100 year old aged malbec 🐟. This trout was also wonderful, I loved the sauce and the potato was fried to a crispy perfection 4. Handmade pasta with mushrooms, spinach and broccoli (I’m a pescatarian, but you could have gotten meat for this course for the same price)! I didn’t think this was a great dish, but was my only option as a pescatarian for this course. Served with a one year old Malbec (this one was my favorite wine I had) 🍝 5. Flan like dessert with dulce (obvi) merengue and a malbec sauce, served with port wine made from Malbec grapes 🍇 . Delicious! Loved both the dessert and port wine. This was an exquisite meal with a GORGEOUS view, and seemed to be an amazing price for what was received. Come hungry and ready to drink a ton of wine! I was passed out in the afternoon from all of the wine and food, but it was so worth it. Service was also great, just a heads up that they charge you for water here (this hasn’t been the case in other restaurants I’ve visited so far).

Gorgeous winery! They have an interesting tour area, which is essentially a large room filled with several dozen aromas that can be found in wines, and an explanation of each. These range from what you would expect (pepper, citrus, etc.) to some more unusual (e.g. sulphur). They also offer what looked like a very lovely 5 course meal with wine pairings for AR$950/person - the chef for the restaurant has another restaurant with a Michelin star. We did not try the meal so I can't comment on whether it was good or not, but I did notice they had a vegetarian option that would be suitable for pescetarians (it replaced the beef course with a vegetarian course, but there was still a salmon course either way). We did the 5 wine tasting and found it quite lovely. The 2013 Torrontes (called Rosa) and the 2011 Malbec (called Guentota) were two standouts. The woman who gave us the tasting was wonderful - extremely polite and friendly and quite knowledgeable about the wines. Each wine's name has an interesting backstory which was fun to hear about as well. The real standout wine was the Antracita, which is a red made from frozen grapes that tasted like nothing else we'd had before! It was sweet, but I'm not typically a fan of sweet wines, and loved it. There was no added sugar so it felt light and not sugary. We had promised ourselves we weren't going to buy any bottles to bring back to the states, but they don't export the Antracita (they export all the others through a company in the US), so we caved and bought a bottle, the only one we bought in Argentina. While we were waiting for our taxi the woman who had given us our tasting even gave us another glass of the Antracita for free, which was very kind. In summary, beautiful winery, food by a Michelin-starred chef, and don't miss the Antracita!

Fantastic picnic and mini tour of the winery. Our guide was really knowledgable and helpful, giving us a quick tour of the building and explaining the history and production of the wine. Then we were taken to a cute picnic setting, where lots of great food arrived meanwhile we were offered a bottle of wine to drink with it. Highly recommend the picnic and would certainly go back if in Mendoza again.

We had a great experience at this winery. We were the only people there, so our tour was private. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient as we had our children with us. It’s a smaller winery, family run and the wines were good. Our tasting came with cheese and bread and some other snacks and it was great. The view of the mountains was nice and there was some green area. Highly recommend Bressia.

We did a tour and tasting at Bodega Bressia and very much enjoyed it. Ileana gave us the tour and shared so much information with us about the wines, winemaking process, and the Bressia family and business. We got to try five or so wines, and she even let us try some wine straight out of a barrel! After the tour, we finished the tasting in their lovely outdoor area with some cheese. Bressia is a small family run vineyard and was very nice to see compared to some of the other bigger ones. It may have been because it was 10 am but we were also the only ones there so it was very cool to get our own private tour. The wines were lovely. One that stood out to me the most was lagrimas canelas which is a white wine they developed for people who prefer red wine. Very interesting! They accept cash or credit card. They also ship to the U.S. and sell some wines at Total Wine.

Art on a plate food (see photos), fabulous and personal service (from the time you arrive until you leave) and a lovely view of the vineyards and Andes. We each had the four course menu with a flight of wines at lunch today. The restaurant is exceptional.

Excellent food, one of the best of Mendoza, good service and great wines (with excessive price)

We just had a perfect lunch at Quimera with delicous food and wine as well as a perfect Service. The starters were a variation of taps each better than the other! We loved that the Main course(delicious Steak) came with a big variety of "sides" each of them being a perfect stand alone dish being very creative! And the peach dessert was just lovely! Overall a great experience! We highly recommend to do the wine pairing. We were sitting outside since the temperature was really nice, but inside looks really nicely decorated as well.

The entire staff was so kind and attentive… the food was miraculous in its detail, appearance and exquisite taste…the setting was also so fresh and well lit during the day… we would imagine that evening dinner would be stunning. We already miss them and when back in Mendoza…. We land there again!

Tomas provided us the most wonderful and magical experience. Super knowledgeable about every single entry and platter. Accommodated our many demands and has a smile that shines eons away. One of the most beautiful experiences in Mendoza. The staff Rosario and Sol deliver superb customer service. The food unique, fermentation second to none, organic and local. Vegetables with abundance. Recommend the spot without a question.

Fantastic experience! The food was both well presented and delicious. The chef took the time to explain the dishes and the inspiration behind them. The wines were well paired with the plates and elevated the taste further. Well done to the whole team and the head chef. Highly recommend.

We liked the creative rustic menu, and the wine pairings were perfect. Service was friendly and informal. We did a number of food and wine tasting menus around Mendoza and the overall experience at Quimera was our favorite. We really liked the smoked and pickled notes in some of the dishes served the day we were there and felt it brought out complexity in the wine.
