Sea World is an oceanographic theme park that offers a variety of attractions for visitors of all ages. Guests can watch polar bears at Polar Bear Shores, observe tropical fish and sharks in the world's largest man-made shark lagoon, and even touch rays at Ray Reef. The park also features entertaining seal presentations and live dolphin shows.
I had an amazing time with the kids, watching their faces light up as they saw dolphins perform for the first time. My kids were full of excitement exploring the penguin exhibit and learning about marine life in a fun, hands-on way. The kids were thrilled to interact so closely with the animals. The rides and shows kept everyone engaged, creating a perfect mix of adventure and education. It was a joyful and memorable day, filled with laughter, learning, and shared moments of wonder by the sea.

We had a really good time at Sea World! The park is clean, well maintained, and easy to get around. The seal and dolphin shows were definitely the highlight entertaining, informative, and beautifully done. It was lovely to see how well the animals are cared for. The only downside was the food options there were very limited vegan and vegetarian choices, which made it a bit tricky to find something suitable for lunch. Hopefully, they can expand their plant-based menu in the future. Overall, a great experience for families and anyone who enjoys marine life and fun shows!
Sanjula — Google review
Spent the day at SeaWorld recently, and enjoyed it. Liked all the shows, especially the dolphin one! Was grateful that they had a proper sit-down restaurant that served health food. My husband and I both had the bowl each. which was as delicious as it was nutritious 😋 We were disappointed with the water ski show though. Gone were the impressive multi-acrobatic moves. All we saw this time was a show between two rival gangs and some boring stunts. We also did the helicopter ride. The 10 minute deal is the best in my opinion. The pilot was very informative; he doubled up as the tour guide Overall SeaWorld was a great experience 😃
Katy G — Google review
Had the best time at Sea World! Every ride was so much fun and well worth the wait. Loved the dolphin shows they were amazing! The place was clean, well-organized, and perfect for all ages. Truly one of the best theme parks I’ve been to. Highly recommend visiting if you’re on the Gold Coast!

Sea World is truly one of our favourite family destinations on the Gold Coast! We had an unforgettable day filled with fun, learning, and amazing marine life encounters. The dolphin and seal presentations were absolutely incredible, such talented animals and dedicated trainers! The park is beautifully maintained, clean, and easy to get around. There’s a great mix of attractions for both kids and adults — from the exciting rides to the relaxing lagoon areas. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone felt welcome and safe. It’s the perfect place to create lasting memories with the family. We can’t wait to come back again soon!
Elaine B — Google review
Love it there. So many things to try although some places are not open. Like Atlantis ride and Donatello ride. I have to say, baby Penguins are the cutest around haha. When you get to lunch watch out for Seagulls. Yes!.. theyll snatch your food in a instant There are sharks too, they did a wonderful job in conservation as well. Hate to say it but I got on Bikini bottom rides - Patrick the starfish, School bus because to me that is the safest ride. Have a peak at your theme park pass app they will tell you exactly the time for each performance. It does make you trip there memorable.
Maurice L — Google review
Sea World on the Gold Coast is a fantastic destination for families with kids. It’s incredibly family-friendly, and there’s something fun for everyone. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the whole park feels safe and well-managed. The dolphin show and stunt performances were absolutely unforgettable – both entertaining and impressive! Every attraction we tried was fun and engaging, from the animal exhibits to the rides. Overall, it’s a great place to spend the day with your family. Highly recommended!

We went to 3 parks across 3 days. Movie World, Wet n Wild and then Sea World. 2 Adults, a 7 year old and 2.5 year old. We loved them all, but Sea World was the most enjoyable for all of us. There was much more for our 2.5 year old to be involved in. A few rides you can go on as a family. And also we could enjoy all the shows together. Definitely do not miss out on the dolphin, seal and water stunt shows. They are world class.

Broadwater Parklands is a sprawling park located just a short drive north of Surfers Paradise. It spans three kilometers along the Southport foreshore and offers various attractions for visitors of all ages. The marine-themed water play area is a highlight, featuring fountains, water jets, and artificial waterfalls that provide entertainment for toddlers as well as older children. Additionally, the park boasts picnic areas with BBQ grills, walking paths, and even a beach across the Gold Coast Seaway.
Beautiful place to be! Lovely beach with shallow waters perfect for wading. Always the Gold Coast Marathon weekend event area annually, and always a lovely area to bring the family. Really accessible by tram (Southport station), bus, and even ferry just on the jetty here! The Aquatic Centre is here too. Love the picturesque Broadwater Parklands!

Nice and quiet good place for the whole family. Plenty of things to do and see. Wheelchair friendly paths, and they have a liberty swing here as well. Well maintained area. Toilets are close by. Wonderful beaches as well. Plenty of parking space but it's paid parking. Nice and easy paths to walk on. Highly recommend going to have a look at 😊😊.

This is our family’s favourite park on the Gold Coast! Our kids absolutely love it! there’s always a great variety of activities to enjoy. The park is beautifully maintained, clean, and perfect for families, kids, or anyone looking to relax or stay active outdoors. I also love that my favourite cafe, Barrel Espresso, is right there, it makes every visit even better! Kudos to the Gold Coast Council for doing such an amazing job keeping the park safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.
Elaine B — Google review
Good place to take the kids, with plenty of parks, walking tracks, outdoor water splash areas and picnic areas. There's a range of other activities too, including the aqua park, rockpools and a few restaurants nearby. Some pleasant sea views all along the walk too, and a great place to stop. Parking can be very limited during peak times, however, so plan accordingly!
Kerbray — Google review
This park pleased all three of our kids from 11-4yrs. It was unique. Beautiful views. Great for different capabilities. Bike track that was well thought about and made fun. In addition we used the aqua park and enjoyed coffee at the Barrel Espresso. So kept everyone happy. Definitely worth a visit if in the area with kids
Kimberley A — Google review
This park is definitely a paradise for kids who love playgrounds because you can literally name all kinds of playground equipments here including the rare ones I’ve never seen before. Moreover, there’s even a water park called Aqua Park but you need to buy a ticket for that, which isn’t free. Or you can just build sandcastles and play with water on the river beach. On the other hand, I saw a bunch of people having great picnics on the BBQ areas and simply on the grass. There are tiny lodges with benches where you can lay down and relax as if you’re in a sauna, and a large pier that has long benches with the most magnificent views and it’s also a ferry stop and great fishing spot. It has a decent number of pubic toilets in the park and if you are hungry, there’s a seafood restaurant and an espresso shop. The welcome sign near the front gate which is made of grass and flowers looks amazing and memorable. If you are taking the light rail, I suggest you disembark at Southport instead of Broadwater Parklands because there are much more shops and restaurants near Southport station. To top it off, the park is much bigger and more versatile than I imagined. It’s absolutely an excellent place for both adults and children to visit.

A lovely park with picnic tables, & children's playground areas with water features, handy to Australia Fair Shopping Centre in Southport, SE QLD. Public transport is nearby also. Beautiful family of black swans enjoying the park too! 😊

This is a fantastic park with plenty of scenic places to sit and heaps of fun for kids, and bike riding. It has a bouncy pad a area to swim a deck and a mini bike to practise track. Arguably the best park on the gold coast

Nestled in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre is a vibrant hub that perfectly captures the essence of modern Gold Coast living. This airy complex boasts an impressive array of fashion boutiques, trendy bars, and international dining options that cater to every palate. Visitors can indulge in a shopping experience reminiscent of Melbourne's markets without ever leaving the Gold Coast. The centre has become a culinary hotspot, featuring both street food vendors and charming cafes where you can unwind after exploring its many offerings.
It’s extremely convenient for the residents of Chevron Towers, especially Tower 2 (Skyline North) because it’s nearest to Coles on ground floor. In addition, it’s also versatile that there are a few eateries, chemist, Asian supermarket, haircut, clothing stores, and offices upstairs. The interior design is quite artistic and mesmerising such as the high ceiling with arched structures and tidy looking 8 storefronts (4 different restaurants) with balconies upstairs located side by side.

excellent apartments with great views. Shops nearby a great plus. Plenty to see and enjoy

Use Coles all the time. Baritalia is great. Nice to get a snack from Go Sushi, Infinity is a blast. Loved it last time I went. Max Brenner does the best coffee. Sushi at Chevron is also good for a bite. If you want to watch Mr Bean while getting a haircut, go to Trim Time. The Local Tavern has a good atmosphere, especially when screening a big sporting event. If you get sick after all that , the medical centre has great doctors.
Martin C — Google review
Its 2 hours free parking, would be better if it was 3,but I recommend the local tavern, coles, chempro, endota spa ,bettys burgers and infinity. Everywhere really.

Disappointed on how much restaurants have closed there, doesn't have the same atmosphere like it used to. Hopefully more new restaurants open up and creates more jobs and people to come and stay there.

Shopping
Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is a massive retail destination located in the heart of the Gold Coast, near Jupiter's Hotel and Casino. It features an extensive range of brand-name department stores, boutiques, services, and dining options. The center also includes Australia's first purpose-built outlet shopping precinct within a major regional shopping center. Visitors can find great bargains from renowned brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Nike, and more.
One of the most beautiful shopping malls in Gold Coast. It offers a great variety of stores, including well-known brands, and a large food court. Easy access and plenty of parking. It also has a lovely outdoor area. I highly recommend it!
Aldana — Google review
Such a fun shopping centre. Very pretty and has lots of shops to explore. There is a good variety of shops inside and the food court has great food. The atmosphere is great and the security is always walking around making sure everyone is safe. There is a valet parking with cool cars.

What an amazing shopping centre on the Gold Coast. Everything and more for all ages. A food court to suit all tastes. Wish the UK had the vision to create this in all cities. If you haven't already visited then do so.
Melanie — Google review
The most visually striking and spectacular shopping centre I've seen in Australia. Plus, plenty of shops and dining options, the best in GC.
Daniel — Google review
Amazing architecture. You wouldn't believe it's a mall. It was like a resort style. A massive mall with heaps of high-ends luxury stores. When you get tired you can just sit or lay on the sun bed and relax. A lovely place to visit, look around and shop.
Jellie M — Google review
Everything you could want from cafes and restaurants to high end designer clothing, handbags, shoes, watches and more Theatre and even a great gym
David F — Google review
Heaps of stuff here. If you’re looking for something it’s almost guaranteed to be here. The mall is quite large so bring some comfy shoes. A bit of something for everyone. Some high end, middle and low end price stores here. Brands galore, heaps of friendly workers and some cool water features. Plenty of places to eat as well.

Pacific Fair – The Gold Coast’s Olympics of Shopping Pacific Fair is basically a glamorous maze designed to separate me from my money — and honestly, I’m not even mad about it. The place is HUGE. You go in for “one quick thing” and suddenly it’s three hours later, you’ve made emotional connections with five shop assistants, and you’re carrying bags like you’re in a rom-com montage. The vibes? Immaculate. The layout? Gorgeous. The shops? Dangerous. There’s literally something for everyone — from boujee stores that make you question your bank balance to snack stops that keep you going like you’re on a shopping marathon. Whether you’re browsing, splurging, or just pretending you’re rich for the afternoon, Pac Fair delivers. 10/10 would get lost in here again.

Observation Decks & Towers
Located on the 77th and 78th levels of the Q1 building, SkyPoint Observation Deck offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Gold Coast and its hinterland. As Australia's only beachside observation deck, it stands at a remarkable height of 230 meters. Visitors can take in the stunning scenery through high-power binoculars and visual displays that highlight key points of interest in the region.
My family and I went on a weekday morning. There’s an option to enjoy the buffet breakfast with the view – we didn’t do it, but we still really enjoyed the whole experience. I recommend buying tickets online before you go. On the official website it’s $33 per person, but I found them through a sponsored Google Maps link for only $21 per person. The view is amazing! On Wednesdays and Saturdays, there’s a whale-watching counter set up between around 11 am and 1 pm (until the end of October). Staff even lend you binoculars so you can try spotting whales from the SkyPoint. Definitely worth it if you’re visiting the Gold Coast!
Hoi L — Google review
Our recent family excursion to Sky Point provided an exceptional experience. The panoramic vistas from the 77th floor were truly awe-inspiring, and we were pleased to discover that the coffee and food prices were surprisingly reasonable. Contrary to our initial expectations, the cost was comparable to that of a standard restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise. The breathtaking scenery, coupled with the rapid elevator service, contributed to a memorable and gratifying experience. We anticipate revisiting Sky Point on our next trip.
Lee — Google review
SkyPoint was absolutely worth visiting! The 360° views of the coastline, city, and hinterland are stunning — especially around sunset. It’s such a great spot to take photos and really appreciate how beautiful the Gold Coast is. There’s also a nice café and bar at the top, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the view a bit longer. The staff were friendly, and the elevator ride up was super fast. Highly recommend adding this to your Gold Coast itinerary!
Maitri P — Google review
SkyPoint is a must-visit attraction, Especially if you’re chasing those magical sunset views over the Gold Coast. The timing of your visit makes a big difference, as the crowds tend to build up in the late afternoon leading into sunset. When we arrived at around 4:30pm on a weekday, it was already quite busy, with plenty of visitors waiting for the sun to dip below the horizon and capture that perfect photo. 📷 One thing worth noting is that seating can be a bit of a challenge. The seats near the windows are in high demand, as everyone wants the best vantage point for both the views and the experience. It works on a first come, first served basis, so if you want a prime spot, it’s best to arrive earlier than you think you need to. Many people settle in with drinks and snacks and simply enjoy the atmosphere while waiting for the main event — the sunset. 🌇 Despite the crowds, the overall vibe was enjoyable. The bar staff were reliable, friendly, and handled the rush smoothly, which made the experience more relaxed. We also tried the SkyPoint signature cocktail, which is highly recommended if you’re visiting. 🍹 The combination of stunning views, refreshing drinks, and a lively yet comfortable setting made our visit memorable
Kasun G — Google review
We visited SkyPoint and went up to the 77th floor — the view of the Gold Coast was absolutely beautiful! It was an interesting and enjoyable experience. There’s also a restaurant and bar where you can have drinks while enjoying the view. Overall, a great experience.

Our experience at the SkyPoint Observation Deck was truly wonderful, even though our visit took an unexpected turn. Just five minutes into our meal, we faced a sudden family emergency that left us distressed and unsure of what to do. Nicole was absolutely incredible. Her calm, caring, and attentive support made all the difference during a very frightening moment. She went above and beyond to help us, ensuring we had everything we needed and offering comfort when we needed it most. Despite the circumstances, we are deeply grateful for the kindness shown to us. The service, the atmosphere, and especially Nicole’s compassion made a difficult situation a little easier to navigate. Thank you so much, Nicole, and thank you SkyPoint for having such wonderful staff. We truly appreciate it. 🙏💛

Flea & Street Markets
The Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets are a popular open-air night market held every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 4pm to 9pm. With over 100 stalls offering a variety of items such as handmade jewelry, locally produced goods, and even the opportunity to make wax hand molds as souvenirs, there's something for everyone. The markets have been an icon of Surfers Paradise for over 25 years and offer a low-key shopping experience with gourmet treats and local flavors.
The "Market" on Surfers Paradise Beach Road is a must-visit! Great atmosphere, stalls with handmade creations, delicious food and friendly people everywhere. If you are coming to the Gold Coast for a holiday, spend an afternoon here; you will be filled with beautiful images and memories.

Located at the Foreshore, Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺 These markets have pretty much become for Surfers Paradise. They attract a lot of tourists and locals alike. They sell everything from clothes, shoes, candles, handmade arts and crafts, handmade souvenirs and much more. There’s always live entertainment going on and it’s a dog friendly market. The location couldn’t be better being that it backs directly onto the beach. It’s a very popular market so it gets very crowded. The market is always full of life and very vibrant. There’s a few food trucks around so you can grab something to eat or drink while you’re looking at the stalls. Or you can go to one of the many restaurants close by. The Markets are held every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 4.00pm until 9.00pm. They have been running since 1995. I always enjoy coming back to these markets and would definitely recommend. Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍

If you are in Surfers Paradise on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, make sure to not miss this cozy market. There are many different stalls to buy unique products and souvenirs from local producers. Please check the opening times in their website as it might vary. No food stalls available though.

The Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets are always a great experience. There’s a huge variety of stalls with everything from handmade crafts and art to clothing, jewellery, and unique gifts. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed evening stroll with the ocean as your backdrop. The atmosphere is lively but laid-back, with plenty of street performers and music adding to the vibe. It’s well set out and easy to walk through, and the stallholders are always friendly and happy to chat. A must-visit if you’re in Surfers Paradise, whether you’re looking to shop, browse, or just enjoy the beachfront energy.

Excellent beachside market atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy. Plenty of unique arts and crafts, unique treats and experiences including handling an Australian reptile with your memory captured and printed on image on the spot! AAA

We unintentionally found ourselves strolling along the street path after dinner before heading back to the hotel, and it turned out to be such a lovely surprise. The walk was calm and leisurely, letting us enjoy the lights, atmosphere, and beachfront vibes at our own pace. A simple but memorable moment at Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets. What a pity that we missed the Beachfront Markets on their opening days this week!
Kelly C — Google review
The Surfers Paradise night markets are a really enjoyable shopping experience. Loads of knick knacks as unique souvenirs, hair and henna experiences, or stuff yourself with fresh passionfruit. It's a well lit market offering a good family atmosphere. Situated down Cavill Mall directly along the beach promenade.
Donna M — Google review
The crowdedness here at night is almost as much as that at the local night markets in Taiwan. In comparison, the stands here are mostly non-perishable items but more street foods in Taiwan. In addition, the stands here are covered by canopies, more decorated, and looking new. Taiwanese stands look more traditional and mostly use colourful signboard light boxes to indicate what they’re selling.

Paradise Centre is the primary shopping complex in Surfers Paradise, located across from the popular Surfers Paradise Beach. With over 90 stores, it offers a diverse range of shopping options. Additionally, there's an outdoor dining precinct where visitors can enjoy a quick meal while taking in the beautiful beach view. The center also features beach-facing restaurants that provide a fantastic view of the sandy beaches and crashing waves.
It’s a simple but versatile mall that has Woolworths and car parks on B1F, dessert stores, cafes, and a variety of stores on GF, arcades, and some beachfront restaurants on 1F. I always come here and enjoy the vibe and view if staying at surrounding hotels.

There’s a Woolworths, plenty of food options like burgers, Thai, pizza and gelato, and lots of entertainment including Timezone, bowling, escape rooms and axe throwing. It’s clean, easy to get to with the light rail nearby, and has plenty of parking. A good spot for shopping, eating out or just hanging out with friends and family.”

Love the vibe here — right across from the beach, always buzzing with energy. Great mix of shops, cafes, and fun spots like Timezone and axe-throwing. Perfect for grabbing a bite after the surf or just people-watching along Cavill Ave. Gets crowded on weekends, but that’s part of the Gold Coast charm. The Paradise Centre always screams Gold Coast. My whole family love shopping there. It is great to have time Zone on top just in case you get bored. A great place to visit, shop and then eat.

This is a good shopping and act6centre running alongside Cavill Mall in Surfers Paradise. There are a various shops, supermarket, food outlets and dine in restaurants and cafes, together with entertainment such as Timezone and Tenpin Bowling. It is a busy place in a major tourist area and usuaquite busy. There's something to do here for everyone.

Very good location. You just take the lift and here lo, you are at the supermarket. You can also take the train to the Australia Fair stop at the Queen Street station and enjoy the fair . The swimming pool is always clean and heated in the winter. Loved the location and the reception staff try their best to serve you at all times.

TimeZone Surfers Paradise is a massive indoor family theme park in Australia, offering an array of interactive games, activities, and attractions. It's the largest indoor family entertainment center in the country and has recently reopened with even more exciting features. From laser tag to glow-in-the-dark mini golf, bumper cars, arcade games, and more than 350 other games and activities, there's something for everyone here. This popular destination on the Gold Coast has been continually expanding and updating its offerings over the years.
It was great fun in this arcade! Timezone is absolutely huge and has many options to choose from. You just top up money on your card and you can start playing. I absolutely loved the many pinball machines available! Definitely recommended for some evening fun!

My happy place, always! ❤️ Timezone Surfers Paradise never disappoints—spent my birthday here this year too. Claw machines forever my fave! 🧸✨

Great experience, good options to suit different use cases and budgets. We went with 180 min pass for my son (11). This also allowed us to do Air hockey together (is yellow & unlimited for duration) and both could do mini golf (just tapped twice). in the 3 hours, he got in 50 games & the mini golf (in hindsight, I guess we could have done mini golf last to extend the overall time). That said, 3 hours was plenty & for $65 at $1.30 per game I thought was great value. We were not rushing, but going steadily. Also collected 660 points in this time (enough to get a few smaller chocolates/lollies). we were there from around 12 pm - 3pm and was steady but not crowded, that said it was building up at 3pm and was getting a bit harder to do some games. Overall represented a fun afternoon & given we could both do some aspects for $65 for 3 hours essentially for 2 people was good value for us. One improvement would be to mark in the website that “featured games” are blue card readers. Also it seems mini bowling is actually a Feature Game, not a Major Attraction despite being listed under Major Attraction (i.e. this was better than the site indicated).

Best Timezone and best arcade I've been to anywhere in the world. Lots of variety and good value. I got the $65 timed play pass and enjoyed 3 hours on lots of games, rides, and attractions. I suggest skipping the bowling, putt putt, and go karts if you're an adult as they are kids sized. But for timed play you get unlimited rides on the orange 2D motion sim which is lots of fun! 3D and 4D motion rides however are limited to 2 rides and were excellent. If you're with friends the $80 top up is better as you also get a free plush toy during August and can share the card. Note most interactive games are red category, you'll earn tickets when you play. The prize shop is also the best I've ever seen. Very reasonably priced and everyone can walk away with something. Mostly for kids though. If you register an account on the app TWO days before, then buy a card in-store, you'll get a bonus $10 in 2025. Minimum reload is $35 using the app. Or top up the physical card in-store with cash. Link the physical card to the app so you can tap-to-play with your phone so you don't need the card

First time experience in time zone, went with my two young stepsons. 6&9. Expected to cost me a fortune. Ironically put $100 down on a card for $160 in credit. Surprisingly when we left I checked the timezone card and I still had almost $100 left in credit. They played on numerous games, drove the dodgem cars etc for an hour and a half and had a thoroughly good time, as I did watching their excitement. I great time had by all. I would definitely suggest an exciting couple of hours to spend time spoiling the kids for being really well behaved.

Always good fun! They add new machines and games all the time. Can be really busy during peak times but there are plenty of games to play. Overstimulation central with loud noises, people and lights. No trip to surfers is complete without a couple hours here though. Air-conditioned and out of the sun, good bathrooms.
Leesa R — Google review
The biggest timezone I have been to. It's huge, has laser tag, glow putt putt, bumper cars and more. Lots of food and drink options children didn't want to leave.
Renae S — Google review
The new layout surrounding the rhythm games is abysmal, and I have to wonder how the managers decided it was a good idea. They moved maimai, a game with a consistently large line, to a small area with barely any seating area that was directly in a popular walkway to a Cavill Ave entrance. In contrast to the previous layout, which had ample seating and large open areas to ensure that the large amount of players wouldn't get in the way of the general public. This is terrible for both the regulars who play and normal visitors.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Surfers Paradise is a popular museum showcasing over 300 exhibits of bizarre oddities and rare artifacts. Visitors can marvel at shrunken human heads, unusual animal skeletons, and interactive displays that cater to all ages. The themed galleries feature unbelievable stories, illusions, and interactive games, while the 7D Moving Theatre offers an immersive motion simulator experience.
What a fun place to visit. We were in Surfers just overnight for appointments for my daughter and we hadn’t been here since she was really little. So we decided to go check it out again. There is so much amazing stuff on display! We purchased the top Pass which gave us access to everything. The 7D cinema was the best part for both of us! We chose the Wild West one. The mirror maze was so much fun and we laughed the entire time. Even walking down the stairs to enter there’s a fun surprise!!

Fantastic experience. We did the main museum and the mirror maze. Everyone in our group (from age 3 to mid 50s) had a great time, there was something for everyone. Loved the interactive parts, like making the tallest man stand up and walking through a tunnel that made you dizzy. The mirror maze was the best I've ever seen, we will definitely be back next time we visit the Gold Coast.

Loved how interactive and quirky everything was. We laughed, we gasped, and we took a lot of photos. It’s like stepping into a bizarre museum of fun facts and freaky artifacts. Totally worth it if you’re into the strange and unexpected! 👽🎩🦶

HOTA, Home of the Arts, is a cultural complex that offers a variety of facilities for entertainment and artistic experiences. The Gallery at HOTA is a prominent public regional gallery in Australia, showcasing diverse exhibitions and events throughout the year. It features local, national, and international artworks as well as the renowned City Collection, documenting the character of the Gold Coast and Australian art development. Formerly known as Gold Coast City Gallery, it has become an integral part of the city's arts precinct.
Wonderful free museum experience and a welcome change of pace from the Gold Coast's beach scene. The gallery's distinctive, colourful architecture makes it a landmark in itself. The gallery spans six levels, showcasing a significant collection of Australian art. However, the best feature might be the view: head straight to the rooftop bar for a panoramic photo of the city, looking out over the Nerang River and Surfers Paradise. The entire HOTA precinct is accessible and great for exploring on foot, with beautiful parklands and a sculpture walk around the lake. It's easy to get here, either by enjoying a scenic walk or conveniently taking the HOPO ferry directly to the grounds.

HOTA Museum is colorful and impressive from the outside, a perfect blend of art and nature. Just walking around the grounds already lifts your spirits. I was really looking forward to visiting, but unfortunately Gallery 2 was closed this time — I hope to see it on my next visit. The poster art exhibition was vibrant and beautifully captured the spirit of its era. And the view from the top floor was absolutely stunning! You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Gold Coast city and ocean — definitely worth a visit.

HOTA is more than just arts, it is located in landscaped surroundings and has three restaurants. There is a sculpture walk around the lake and a map can be downloaded from the website. There is plenty of parking and the first 4 hours are free. So whether you are into the arts or not there is something for everyone.

Attended the school eisteddfod. First time to this location. Well laid out, wheelchair friendly. There is open air metred parking. There is a bistro canteen type restaurant as well as a snack kiosk. Ample seating area both inside and outside seating areas. There is also a bar inside the venue for thirsty visitors like me. Overall, a great experience.
Colin P — Google review
It’s a spacious and nice place for families to spend time together. However, I think the exhibition could be improved. Many galleries were closed in preparation for the next exhibition, and overall, I still felt it was quite a small art center.

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Gold Coast, Australia in a unique and exhilarating way by taking a hot air balloon flight. Rise with the sun and witness the stunning natural wonders including beaches, rainforests, rivers, and waterfalls from high above. Some providers offer hotel pick-up before dawn to take you to the launch site while others allow you to meet directly at the location.
The whole team (Kelly, Gavin and Dhawal) were amazing. Very organised and professional, lots of jokes and super friendly. Our ride was fantastic and the weather was perfect. Dhawal is clearly a very experienced hot air balloon pilot, manoeuvring us through and over trees and bogs to find the perfect landing spot, finally coming to land in a dry paddock of about 200 cows, who then decided to run over for a closer look. It was a pretty funny end to our ride. The champagne breakfast at O'Reillys was also great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We also got to lead an alpaca around and feed them - they're super cute. Cannot recommend Hot Air Balloon Gold Coast enough - thanks guys!

My experience with the hot air balloon tour was truly exceptional from start to finish. Our tour guide, Kelly, demonstrated excellent driving and bilingual skills, along with a knack for guiding us through the day. Pilot Dean and crew member Wayne were also outstanding, providing perfect navigation and even seemingly controlling the weather for us. Everything came together for a perfect morning: the weather was ideal, the breakfast champagne buffet with wine tasting was great, and the alpaca encounter was a wonderful experience. Most importantly, the trip felt completely safe. The tour operator's clear instructions at every stage of our journey made the entire trip seamless. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, and I especially suggest adding the breakfast and alpaca experiences at Oreillys for a truly memorable morning.

Went hot air ballooning with my parents for my dad's 60th birthday. It was such a fabulous experience - from the transport to the hot air balloon ride itself, the breakfast, alpaca farm and wine tasting (not to mention photos!) the whole experience was so well curated and planned out for us. Thank you so much to Kelly, Gavin and of course our pilot Dhawal for keeping us safe and taking us on an unforgettable adventure 🙏🙂

Wow! Great Team! Very safe / smooth flight. 7/9/25 (Fathers day) ending was super! Very good experience from the pilot jay! 27 years pays off! Definitely recommend it well worth your money! Don’t hesitate to go. It’s not scary as you think. Not even if your scars of heights

We did this for our anniversary, we had an amazing time. Loved the flight, the champagne breakfast and the alpaca experience. We would definitely recommend! Selena, Dahwal and Kevin were a great team. The communication prior was excellent, especially as we were concerned about the weather.

This is one of the best experiences I have ever had. This time I self-drove from Brisbane to the meeting point and I was able to meet up with the staff on time. The staff was so kind to help my journey. The balloon was amazing! I had a wonderful time. Love the flight I would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend these guys if you're planning a hot air balloon trip. Amazing customer service, incredible flight and plenty of jokes. Huge thanks to Kelly, Dean and Gavin who looked after us on our flight, look forward to coming back some day.

One of the best experiences we have ever had. The booking was easy and simple, the planning of transport was included in our ticket as we got picked up from our hotel on the Gold Coast, the Balloon was amazing, the view was stunning and we got photos included in our package. Once the balloon was over, we all helped to fold the balloon up, they are actually massive! We then all headed to the nicest winery for a buffet breakfast and champagne, it was gorgeous. All the staff were amazing and knowledgeable, they were fun and we just had the best time!

If you're seeking a unique experience away from the adrenaline-pumping attractions of Surfers Paradise, consider indulging in a tranquil journey with Surfers Paradise River Cruises. These delightful cruises offer an opportunity to explore the stunning Broadwater and its intricate network of canals, which is the largest constructed canal system in the southern hemisphere. With options for morning tea, afternoon delights, or enchanting sunset views, each cruise lasts about 1.
Booked a Surfers Paradise River Cruise on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. The 90-minute morning cruise was so informative, yet relaxing. Captain Pete is a hoot. There's plenty of seating. Bring a hat as you'll want to see all the rich and famous mansions from top deck. Recommended for all ages.

We took the 10:30 am cruise on 1st August 2025, with Surfers Paradise River Cruises. It was an amazing Cruise with some of the most beautiful views of the surfers paradise. Captain Jason and the tallish lady with short hair who managed everything (sorry, can't remember the name) were amazing. Everything from check in to boarding and the entire cruise was very well organised. This Cruise offers a double deck boat, with plenty of comfortable padded seating areas. The 90 minute cruise had a relaxed, very enjoyable pace. It wasn't rushed. Fruit cake, Lamington, scotch finger biscuits, tea & coffee etc were also provided. They operate four cruises daily, which is very handy for visitors. Highly recommended.

Great experience. I chose this cruise as travelling with my mum and wanted something not too crazy and that didn’t involve walking! It was perfect, 10 minute stroll to the boat from our hotel on the esplanade, easy check in at kiosk then boarded 15 minutes before we headed off on a leisurely tour of the waterways. Tea/coffee/chocolate and cakes/biscuits were included and just right for our morning snack. They also have some other items to purchase and a cocktail menu if you’re in a more lively mood. The captain Pete gave a very informative and entertaining run down of the houses and areas we were passing which added a bit of fun and It helped me get my bearings, this lead us to visit HOTA the next day which also turned out to be another morning out. There is lots of seating so no need to rush to get to the front of the queue, would definitely recommend to any visitors old or new, I’ve been to the Surfers Paradise a few times but it gave me a different view which I really enjoyed and was ideal for a first time visitor like my mum. Thank you :)

Our morning cruise with Surfers Paradise River Cruises was undoubtedly the highlight of our recent Gold Coast holiday. In the first hour of the cruise we enjoyed tea, coffee and a yummy morning tea. We also had a cheeky strawberry daiquiri in the second hour of the cruise. Delicious! Our captain was entertaining and very knowledgeable of the local sights. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. A great cruise at a very reasonable price and very comfortable seats. We definitely want to do the sunset cruise and the city lights cruise sometime soon. Thanks for a great morning.

The river cruise was lovely, a very pleasant morning out to see the fabulous properties and Gold Coast city back drop to die for. Running commentary, tea, coffee, biscuits, cakes and sunshine what more could you ask for at a very reasonable price… Remember to duck when going under those overhead bridges. A lovely trip for all ages.

Loved the Sunset Cruise. Not a real sunset due to clouds but enjoyable cruise with friendly staff. On board drinks really reasonably priced. Captain & commentary was very knowledgeable & interesting. Great for all, couples, friends, singles, families.
Betty M — Google review
Can't do this justice with words, I took my partner for her 35th birthday on the sunset cruise and it was a remarkable experience. We were blessed with a full moon, a gorgeous sunset and we even saw two eagles eating fish they had caught. The captain was absolutely hilarious and so informative, using dry humour to point out some of the interesting facts surrounding the estates along the water. I particularly enjoyed hearing about the owners, visitors and the history of the estates. He was also really great at describing where/how to look and I didn't miss any of the highlights. He also pointed out anything unique and noteworthy, describing in wonderful detail what was occurring, like the talons of the eagles tearing their food. This is a family owned small business which really makes you feel like you are in QLD and on holiday. They play chilled music which was a perfect volume. Thank you so much for this experience, I am an extremely popular boyfriend and I don't think I have ever pulled off a birthday surprise as good. My only concern is what I will do next year.

Tucked away in the lively Surfers Paradise, the Gold Coast Wax Museum stands as a must-visit destination for anyone intrigued by history and pop culture. This remarkable museum boasts an impressive collection of over 110 life-sized wax figures, showcasing a diverse array of personalities from various fields such as politics, entertainment, and science.
Love This Place! From the moment we walked through the doors, the lovely gentleman host was cheeky and charming and gave us a nice introduction to the tour and the museum. All the figures are fascinating to look at, so many hours and such detail goes into the craftsmanship of making the figures, their clothes and getting their styles right. Some of them look SO real it's like uncanny valley :P :) I adored the little dioramas throughout the museum as well. They were educational and so very cute! I appreciated some of the hand painted backgrounds too. The downstairs of the museum was thrilling! LOVED IT! The figures and depictions are again beautiful and full of craftsmanship and gory details. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and is a tour guide that knows Real history ,) Now that i TRULY appreciated indeed, as not many people are in the know, you know ,) I think this is a unique way to spend a couple of hours on the Gold Coast, it's not every day (if you live far away) you get to experience bizarre, macabre and super unique artifacts. Can't wait to go another tour soon! :D THANKS EVERYONE AT THE WAX MUSEUM!!! <3

“I recently visited the Wax Museum and it was an unforgettable experience! Every detail, from the incredibly lifelike figures to the rich historical displays, was truly impressive. I enjoyed seeing all the famous characters brought to life so realistically — it felt like stepping into history and popular culture at the same time. One of the most fascinating parts was the section about historical torture methods, showcasing how people were punished centuries ago. It was both chilling and incredibly educational. Overall, the museum offers a perfect balance of entertainment and learning. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!”
Banny K — Google review
Very old and dated most figures don't resemble the real characters and very much no where as good as other wax museums I've been to. The horror chamber again forced to do as a large tour group and stuck listening to a tour guide giving a lot of inaccurate information. Definitely save your money give this a miss.

Very friendly helpful staff, Enjoyed walking through at own pace . Bit out dated, would be nice to see more pop stars. Enjoyed the history of it all though. Especially enjoyed the tour and hearing all about the old days with punishment etc . My daughter also very enjoyed the shared knowledge she even saw a wax figure she had learnt and studied about at school.

We had a great time there and the staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue was that probably the venue needs a bit of renovations other than that highly recommended especially to families with children and adolescents.

Really enjoyed coming here. Staff were super friendly, the upstairs was cool seeing all the different celebrities and figures. Some look better than other but to be expected. There was also some cool replicas of crowns and jewels. The chamber of horror was really cool. Its a guided tour and the guy running it knows lots of historical facts etc which was really interesting to learn about. It was definitely a cool experience and 100% worth a visit rain or shine

Nature & Parks
Surfers Paradise Beach is a legendary surfing spot located on the Gold Coast, offering a beautiful sandy beach against the backdrop of a vibrant city with entertainment and shops. While it may not offer the best surfing conditions compared to other nearby alternatives, its proximity to main attractions, theme parks, accommodations, nightlife, and entertainment make it incredibly popular and crowded year-round. The beach's convenient location near numerous restaurants, shopping outlets, and resorts compensates for its lack of big waves.
This place is truly one of those spots you could visit every day and never get tired of. There are so many great places to eat nearby, and just walking around the area is a visual delight. As someone who loves watching sunsets, I honestly think this spot offers one of the best views. The waves and the sky look different every single day — it is the perfect place to soak in the beauty of nature. There are so many great photo spots, and it is also a place where you could just sit for hours and enjoy the view. The long stretch of smooth pavement along the beach makes it ideal for roller skating, which I personally love. There are also clean showers and restrooms placed at regular intervals, which makes it even more convenient. If you ever visit the Gold Coast, this is definitely a must-see destination!
Happy Z — Google review
Golden sand, rolling waves, and a skyline that makes every selfie look premium. This is the Gold Coast’s iconic playground — sunrise chills, daytime surf, and nighttime buzz all in one strip. It does get busy (like, festival-crowded on weekends), but that’s part of the energy. Stick between the flags, grab a coffee, and enjoy that perfect mix of beach life + city vibe.
Ruchit P — Google review
Surfers Paradise Beach continues to live up to its name — a true slice of coastal beauty that still shines, even after the recent tsunami event. We visited just a few weeks ago, curious (and slightly concerned) about how the beach would be, but honestly, it’s holding its charm and energy better than expected. The beach is clean, wide, and absolutely stunning. Golden sands stretch endlessly, and the turquoise-blue waves are as inviting as ever. Lifeguards are stationed frequently along the shore, which gives a good sense of safety for families and tourists alike. Despite the natural event that hit earlier in the year, the beach has bounced back impressively — there’s a sense of resilience and calm that’s comforting to see. The vibe is still alive and well. Surfers are out catching waves, kids are building sandcastles, and couples are strolling along the shore at sunset. That warm, buzzing atmosphere that makes Surfers Paradise so iconic hasn’t faded. Locals and visitors have returned, and it feels like a beautiful community coming back to life. We noticed some parts of the beach that still show signs of the tsunami’s impact — slightly reshaped sand dunes and fewer seating spots in some areas — but honestly, it doesn’t take away from the overall experience. The city has done a great job keeping it maintained and welcoming. What we loved most was the accessibility. You’re steps away from cafes, shops, and restaurants, so it’s easy to grab a drink or bite and head right back to the water. Sunrise and sunset walks are magical here, especially with the skyline rising just behind you. Nature can test even the most iconic places, but Surfers Paradise Beach has held its ground with grace. It’s still one of the most beautiful and enjoyable beaches in Australia — peaceful, vibrant, and deeply refreshing. Whether you’re here to swim, surf, or simply soak up the sun, this beach remains a must-visit. It’s a symbol of strength and beauty that continues to welcome all with open arms.

“Surfers Paradise Beach is absolutely stunning and a must-visit on the Gold Coast. The golden sand stretches for miles, always clean and well maintained, with plenty of space whether you want to swim, walk, or just relax in the sun. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming or surfing, with lifeguards on duty and flagged areas for safety. The location is unbeatable – right next to Cavill Ave, so you’re only a short walk to shops, cafes, and restaurants. There are great facilities nearby including showers, toilets, and shaded areas, and it’s beautiful both day and night. Sunrise and sunset here are incredible, and the vibe is always welcoming, whether it’s families, tourists, or locals enjoying the coast. Perfect for a beach day, a morning jog, or just sitting back and taking in the view. Definitely one of the highlights of the Gold Coast.

Surfers Paradise is a must-visit destination when you're exploring the Gold Coast, just a short drive from Brisbane. The journey itself is a treat, with coastal roads offering stunning views of the ocean and long stretches of golden sand. Once you arrive, the vibrant atmosphere of Surfers Paradise welcomes you with its mix of beachside charm and urban energy. The area is packed with cafés, restaurants, boutique shops, and hotels, all nestled along the ocean-facing commercial district. The beach itself is iconic—clear blue waters, soft golden sands, and a skyline that blends nature with modern architecture. Whether you're sipping a coffee by the shore, taking a leisurely stroll along the esplanade, or diving into the waves, the experience is both relaxing and invigorating. It’s a place where you can unwind or dive into adventure, depending on your mood. If you're planning a visit, it's best to go early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds. The beach is especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset, offering perfect lighting for photos and a peaceful ambiance. Be sure to bring sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to explore beyond the beach. There are plenty of dining options, from casual beachfront cafés to upscale restaurants, many with stunning ocean views. Parking can be a bit challenging, especially during weekends and holidays. There are several paid parking facilities nearby, such as Bruce Bishop Car Park and Cypress Avenue Car Park, which are both centrally located and within walking distance of the beach. Street parking is available but limited, so it’s important to check signage for time restrictions and fees. Using parking apps like EasyPark or PayStay can help you find available spots and manage payments more easily. Surfers Paradise offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and lively culture, making it an ideal spot for beach lovers, families, and anyone looking to enjoy the best of the Gold Coast.

I love traveling, but I think this was the most beautiful sea I’ve seen so far. It was so transparent, clean, and blue—and not too deep, so everyone could enjoy it. I don’t know how to swim, but it was perfect just to dip my feet in. The sand was sooo soft, you wouldn’t even want to wear shoes.
Kira — Google review
Such a fun beach! Make sure to swim between the flags for safety! Beautiful beach.
Warren W — Google review
Surfers has such a good vibe! The beach is huge, clean, and perfect for a swim or just chilling on the sand. There’s always something going on — street performers, sunset markets, people out and about. Great mix of beach life and city energy. Whether you're into early morning walks or grabbing food by the ocean, Surfers never disappoints.

Day 5

Off the beaten path
For day 5, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Macintosh Island Park. Not quite as popular as Ripley's Believe It or Not!, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Marina Mirage is a luxurious harbourside mall on the Gold Coast, offering a high-end shopping experience with over 80 boutiques including big-name designers like Guess, Calvin Klein, Hermes and Tommy Hilfiger. The complex also features fine dining options such as Omeros Bros and Vanitas, overlooking the waterfront. Visitors can enjoy a day spa, beauty salon, and a scenic waterfront promenade with views of yachts and cruise ships.
There are a cafe and a few riverside restaurants in the mall. I highly recommend Omeros Brothers Seafood Restaurant because they do make authentic seafood dishes and you can also enjoy the scenery out there. The design of the place is quite good and there are also a variety of clothing stores from upstairs to downstairs and a few parking spaces outside the shopping centre. Moreover, it takes a while to walk to Sea World, a must go amusement park in Gold Coast and the bus 704 travels via here to SeaWorld.

Great place, there are shopping and parking options. Walked on the peer and enjoyed looking the Yachts on the marina. Notice some very interesting choices, like a boat shape of a small church building and another that resembles a sports car.

Ordered 2 platters and lunch special. Steak diane, octopus and sticky date were flawless. Platter was well appointed, high quality and couldn't finish it all. Great atmosphere to catch up with friends or business

Beautiful 😍 spot to get on a boat. Loved the dolphins 🐬 cruising along... Just need a bit more of clear signs about parking and paid parking as well as where the ferry docs ⛴️ are.

My last look at the soon to be demolished shopping centre. Remarkably there are still a few tenants. Don't park underneath, it used to leak nasty stuff into cars.

Nature & Parks
Macintosh Island Park, located between Main Beach and Surfers Paradise, is a popular spot for garden ceremonies with its charming backdrops including an impressive metal bridge, classic garden bridge, waterfalls, and wandering peacocks. The park offers a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere with shady trees providing relief from the heat. Visitors can enjoy strolling through the park, taking pictures of the local wildlife such as peacocks, or simply relaxing with friends.
Was pleasantly surprised at how big, beautiful, and serene this park was. A massive pond in the middle of the park with lots and lots of trees around the green park fills fresh air in your lungs. A beautiful park to go for a weekend walk.
Knowl E — Google review
First time I’ve been here and I’m embarrassed to say I never knew anything about this Park. I mean… Who doesn’t want to see peacocks roaming around and geese that are obviously in family packs? Wild birds that have made themselves at home in this Park. A hidden lake and water features are obviously a drawing card for these birds… we even saw a ‘lone’ Curlew. It was limping but otherwise quite unperturbed with the other birds about. Hoping it had a Mate that wasn’t too far away. So many little hidey holes around… noticed the Gold Coast Tent community were residents of the Park as well. If anything, their areas were kept very clean and tidy… a sign of the times, something the authorities should be sympathetic towards but can also understand people not coming here as it’s confronting to see a lot of the Tents. I wasn’t bothered, would probably feel safer here than some other well known Parks. Plenty of seating around, BBQs, water, toilets. Saw a 10yr Olds’ Birthday party in full force by the little stream that runs thru the park. Plenty of Parking and plenty of ‘shade’ for the tourists and locals. Can even get your feet wet in the water ways….. Would love to come back and stay for a few hours. Also….don’t feed the Birds’! Signs are in the Park to let you know.
Sooty — Google review
I simply loved this place. The highlight for me was getting an opportunity to feed the birds and interact with them! There are quite a variety of birds, including peacocks, water birds, and of course, pigeons whom you could feed out of your hand! The beach is a stones throw away, which you can reach by simply crossing the bridge. Lovely place to visit with family and friends. Free parking is available on site.

My favourite park. This is one of the best park on the Gold Cost. Beautiful place and nice facilities, two playgrounds, two public toilets, BBQ, lots of benches and shades. Lots of car parking space too. It's so nice place for walking around and picnic!

This park is so tranquil and peaceful. We visited on an extremely hot day but it was a few degrees cooler because of all the big shady trees. All the birds are so beautiful and we saw a number of peacocks. Easy access, plenty of parking and disability access also. Very tidy and well maintained park. And great playgrounds for kids. Big foots cave is pretty cool too

Macintosh Island Park is a wonderful oasis of a park close to Main Beach, Narrowneck and Surfers Paradise. With plenty of shade amongst the trees, there is a lake, plenty of birdlife (such as peacocks), a play area, picnic tables, all in a peaceful and tranquil location just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Main Beach and Surfers Paradise. A wonderful place to escape the crowds for an hour or two.

The Vomatron Ride at Sling Shot Surfers Paradise is an exhilarating experience that promises to get your adrenaline pumping! While the ride itself may be temporarily closed, the atmosphere of this vibrant theme park remains inviting. Visitors can stroll through the park without any admission fee, making it a perfect spot for those who want to soak in the sights and sounds without necessarily hopping on rides.
Kids absolutely loved the vomitron!! I wouldn't recommend getting the photos. You pay $15 for 5 shots. I assumed it would be a video of the ride its self. However, overall, its worth having a go atleast once during your time in Surfers Paradise.

This is a fantastic ride. Road trip to the coast with friends of an afternoon and go on the sling shot. Such fun. Went on it 5 times last Thursday! You can also get a USB of your experience to take with you. Very funny to watch. I highly recommend having a go. I know I will be back and the operators told me they are building a bigger, higher and faster sling shot at a new location not far from the original.
Rachel F — Google review
Sling Shot Surfers Paradise is a great theme park, it’s open till late and there is no admission fee so you can walk around and just watch if you don’t want to ride anything. My daughter and her friend did the Vomatron and then decided to ride the Sling Shot as well. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and did a great job of calming everyone’s nerves. This ride is tall and looks amazing at night. We purchased the video, it was just too funny and good value for $20. I’m still not keen for a ride myself but the atmosphere there is fantastic and well worth a visit, especially at night.
Kelly D — Google review
This is a truely fantastic place and experience! Great atmosphere and location. I recommend going at night as it’s amazing! However when we went the staff were so nice, but when we were on the ride they never checked our restraint, which made us really worried as we wanted it double checked. Other then that, 100% recommended!

Wicked Nightlife Tours - Club Crawl is a must-try experience in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast. It offers a well-organized and enjoyable bar crawl that provides an excellent way to explore the vibrant nightlife of the area. The tour guide, Diahanna, received high praise for her hospitality and ensuring everyone had a great time. Participants also enjoyed free drink vouchers and fun games during the tour.
Went along on the club crawl with my girlfriend, first time in the gold coast and we had such a great time! We paid $80 each and definitely both feel like we got our money back with the free entrances and free drinks at each venue. The club crawl staff were all very fun and engaging, giving us red stickers each to indicate we were in a couple. Met some other couples on the night out which we didn't expect but made us feel a lot more comfortable. We aren't huge clubbing people but would definitely go on the crawl again if we go back to the gold coast!
Ben M — Google review
Such a sick night out! The $80 ticket is actually mad value — you just get loads of free drinks, plus $6 ones after that, and free entry into all the clubs. There’s drinking games to start the night and the vibe is unreal. If you don’t have the wristband you’re stuck queuing forever, but with it we could go in and out of the clubs all night with no stress. Honestly one of the best nights I’ve had on the Coast.
Bertie B — Google review
Me and my friends attended the tour on a Saturday night after running into Benji on the street, who was a pleasure to deal with. Him and the team ensured we had a blast and were very accomodating. Will definitely be recommending this tour to my friends.
Maria H — Google review
Having been on multiple party tours, I would have to say this was the worst one we have ever done and is a complete waste of money. We felt that we were scammed by the sales guy in the street who made all of these promises of what we would experience on the night but unfortunately didn’t. As three women not from the Gold Coast, we thought this would have been an amazing opportunity for us to party and have a great time. We were told there would be lots of games played- there was one game played at the first venue on the night and that was it. We were told there would be no waiting in line- we ended up waiting in a line at one venue for over 30 minutes in the pouring rain as we had to wait for people to leave the venue before entering (this was whilst the party tour was still going) we were told that the staff would look after us and check in and make sure we were ok and having a good time but the only staff member who spoke to us on the night was the lady who put our wrist bands on at the start of the night. We were continuously left at venues whilst everyone left before the time we were supposed to go at and we would constantly be trying to keep up. We were advised that it was a great deal ($80 for a ticket) as we wouldn’t be paying the venues entry fee which apparently could be from anywhere between $25-$40, but after researching only one of the venues we visited had an entry fee of $5. We were also told that the wristband included $6 basic drinks but that deal applied for everyone not just those on the tour. So when you put all of that together, what did we actually pay for on the night? I would not recommend this tour and would recommend doing your own thing because that it was we ended up having to do- all the same.
Eriyn M — Google review
Had an awesome time on the club crawl for just $80! Totally worth it – great venues, no waiting in lines, and the hosts kept the energy up all night. Met a bunch of fun people and it was the perfect way to party without stressing about planning. Highly recommend if you want a good night out for a great price!

I had an awesome time with Wicked Nightlife Tours! For just $80, it was totally worth it — you get drinks, free entries to multiple venues, and a great night out without any of the stress of planning. Ben, our tour guide, was amazing — super friendly, organised, and made sure everyone had a great time. It’s a perfect way to experience the nightlife and meet new people. Definitely recommend it!

2nd time going thru wicked now the boys are all super accomodating. Ben sorted out a price for us all super amazing bloke does his job brilliantly. Wicked provides free entry for the designated clubs for the night on top of that a free drinks and half price basics ultimately making the experience worth the value. Clubs all put on a great time for wicked and wouldn’t recommend you do anything else when thinking of going out in Cavill

If you're eager to explore the stunning sights of Surfers Paradise, look no further than the Quack'R'Duck tour. This unique adventure begins on land, showcasing some of the region's most captivating landmarks before making a splash as it transitions into the water. The Quack'R'Duck is an amphibious bus that offers a comfortable and eco-friendly way to experience both land and sea in one thrilling ride.
Had such a great time with Quack’r Duck! From start to finish it was fun, unique, and really well run. The experience was both exciting and relaxing, with plenty to see and enjoy along the way. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made the whole adventure easy and enjoyable. Everything felt safe and well-organized, and it’s definitely something I’d recommend to both locals and visitors. A fantastic way to spend a day out – we’ll definitely be back!
