Sunshine Plaza is the ultimate shopping and entertainment complex on the Sunshine Coast, featuring a vast array of shops, restaurants, and leisure activities. The recently opened new wing boasts big-name department stores like David Jones and BigW, while the waterfront promenade offers a picturesque setting for dining at waterside cafes. With over 200 shops connected by bridges over Cornmeal Creek, this sunlit indoor/outdoor mall is perfect for finding bargains or indulging in a shopping spree.
As the largest shopping center on the Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Plaza was bustling during my visit. While the layout can feel a bit maze-like for newcomers, there are so many interesting stores and a variety of food, drink, and restaurant options around every corner. There's truly a lot to see and do, with people, pets, food, drinks, and music creating a lively atmosphere. It's definitely a must-visit, especially to check out the TGIF and the paddle boats on the water!

I’ve been coming to this place since the early 90s with my family. It’s still amazing. Best place for shopping.
Y R — Google review
Got harassed and followed to my car by 2 security officers for taking a photo of the water where the restaurants are. I was filmed on their body cam and saw them noting down my rego as i was entering the car. I only took a photo to show my significant other because I’m from out of town. A lot of others were too but I was singled out. A respectful talk saying that photography wasnt allowed would have been better, but the way i was treated was like i was shoplifting or being a criminal. Wouldn’t recommend going here (Attached are the 3 “illegal” photos i took. Can’t believe that I was treated like this for these)

Im a man, I don’t love shopping. I have been in many countries around the 🌍 world. But sunshine plaza have something special, that’s why I spend lots of time here and I buy all what I need for home, for me and sometimes for my work in this amazing shopping centre. And my favourite thing about the plaza are this massage chairs haha Im addicted!!! 😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️ Thanks Plaza! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Mauricio 🇮🇹🍀

Many shops around, we were looking for a place to eat and found Grill’d and Yochi for a well-deserved yoghurt dessert after our meal.
Jordan T — Google review
I’m not usually someone who enjoys shopping, but Sunshine Plaza has completely changed that for me. The atmosphere is so open, vibrant, and relaxed that it never feels like your typical crowded shopping centre. The beautiful river running through the middle, the lush greenery, and the breezy layout make it feel more like a resort than a mall. There’s an amazing mix of shops and plenty of quiet corners to sit, relax, or grab a coffee with a view. The centre is spotless, well laid out, and the staff are always friendly. Parking is easy, and there are great entertainment options like the cinema and paddle boats — perfect for a chill day out. Even as someone who usually dreads shopping trips, I actually look forward to coming here. Sunshine Plaza is a gem on the Sunshine Coast!
Dante S — Google review
One of the best shopping centres I've ever been to, with iconic clothing shops, cozy cafes, multiple food places and even the opportunity to go on a mini boat ride on the river. I'm only giving it four stars since most people lack common sense when walking around, because does it really hurt you to not be next to your annoying friends for 5 seconds?
Moona E — Google review
Sunshine Plaza is always a nice place to visit, with a good mix of shops and plenty of car parking, which makes trips a lot easier. The atmosphere is usually relaxed, and it’s a convenient spot to spend a few hours shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or just walking around.

Event venue
Maroochy RSL, located on Memorial Ave in Maroochydore, is a popular dining and entertainment destination offering a spacious bistro serving pizza, burgers, salads, and a dessert trolley. The club provides free live music entertainment catering to mature audiences with various themed music nights throughout the week. Additionally, it features modern design and layout with convenient amenities such as undercover parking and easy access to conference facilities.
Highly rate this RSL . Huge venue! Designated areas for pokies, casual dining and formal dining. Staff from driver, reception desk to staff working in eatery and bar areas are all very helpful, friendly and offer exceptional service. Meals are big and delicious. All facilities are clean and tidy. Free courtesy bus runs regularly. Will definitely visit again.

Out here for audits and looking to meet vendors selling their healthcare businesses! Peak! Trivia night was awesome! Enjoyed our evening dinners at the RSL. Modern and a menu that was filling! Large serving at a very good price point. Always walked across the river into the mall after a meal to enjoy the calm sunsets and ambience.

Great value, wonderful service. The food has large servings and great taste. Wonderful club.

The kids’ playground at Maroochy RSL is pretty good and definitely a big plus for families. It keeps the little ones entertained while you can relax, which makes it a great spot for an easy night out. For an RSL, it does the job well — clean, family-friendly, and welcoming. As for the food, it’s about what you’d expect from most RSLs — decent meals at fair prices, nothing over the top, but still enjoyable. It’s the kind of place you go for a casual dinner where you know exactly what you’re going to get. Overall, a solid four-star experience, mainly thanks to the playground and family-friendly setup.

French restaurant
Orléans Restaurant and Bar offers a stylish setting for contemporary American cuisine with a French twist, providing a relaxed environment to enjoy an amazing menu inspired by New Orleans cuisine. The restaurant features candlelit dining on Thursday nights and live music on Fridays, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The bar complements the dining experience with soulful New Orleans-style cocktails, such as the Whistlin Dixie, preparing your taste buds for the transition from bar to restaurant.
We had the Chef’s Shared Four Course Tasting Menu at Orléans and wow – what an experience! Chef Vini was amazing, explaining each dish and giving us such great attention. Every course was packed with flavour and totally different from anything we’ve had before. The Honey & Thyme Baked Goats Cheese, the Southern Fried Chicken & Waffles and the duck were next-level – you have to try them! The vibe was so welcoming, the atmosphere had such a great energy, and the staff were all super friendly. Honestly, can’t wait to go back!

The staff here are amazing, especially the lady behind the bar last night. Her service stood out the most it made my partner and I’s night for sure. The food was delicious and the timing between means was perfect. Other places we have been the timing has been so off and you are sitting there waiting for meals between each coarse Will definitely be back. Make sure to order the honey thyme goats cheese as a starter. Thank you for dinner we will definitely be back.

The restaurant is amazing when you first walk in, the vibe and the decor is amazing. The lady that served us was the most amazing and lovely lady. She was happy, helpful, polite and very prompt. The food was put together so well. The chef and kitchen staff did an amazing job at pairing flavours and creating some delicious food. Highly recommend for a date night.

A great boujee vibe. Service was great - prompt and friendly. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The time it must have taken to layer that ratatouille! And the drinks were on point too. Tried one of their cocktails...a coffee foam and cardamon mix that was a delightful sensory experience for my eyes, nose and my tastebuds. We'll definitely be back. Topped it all off with the decadence of a gluten free chocolate cheesecake with pistachio ice cream and macadamia crumble! 🤤🤤🤤

Absolutely outstanding experience at Orleans Restaurant on the Sunshine Coast! From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and provided truly exceptional service. Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and felt like a mix of modern fine dining with a relaxed coastal vibe. The atmosphere was vibrant yet intimate, making it the perfect date night spot or a place to celebrate special occasions. The cocktails were incredible, the menu was creative, and you could really taste the quality and passion in every bite. If you’re looking for the best restaurants on the Sunshine Coast for romantic dining, amazing cocktails, or a hidden gem with world-class food and service, Orleans is an absolute must. We can’t wait to come back!

Had a really lovely dinner here with my wife. Food was all excellent, service was great and cocktails were really really good. Food also came out really quick which was a surprise given complexity and presentation. Staff genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs and have some passion about it. They seemed to recognise and appreciate return customers, which is always nice. If I'm ever back in Maroochydore, I would come here again for sure.

2nd time dining at Orleans and 2nd time not disappointed. My partner got the seafood gumbo (has been hanging for it since last time!) he very much enjoyed it but wasn’t quite up to par from the last visit, he felt something was missing, however loved it all the same… I went out of my comfort zone and tried the ratatouille, enjoyed it very much, different, in a good way! Service 🙌

Cotton Tree Holiday Park is a prime urban camping spot with direct access to Maroochy River and Maroochydore Beach. It's perfect for leisurely strolls to the main street for ice cream or dining at local restaurants. The park's location allows visitors to rent ecoTekk electric bikes and explore the Sunshine Coast coastal pathway. Nestled between the river and Pin Cushion, it offers a spectacular setting for enjoying sundowners with friends.
We stayed at Cotton Tree Holiday Park on a powered site near the waterfront, and it was the perfect spot for us. We arrived just in time for sunset and couldn’t have asked for a better view. The whole park felt peaceful and not overcrowded, which made it even more enjoyable. Every facility was spotless — bathrooms, kitchens, and shared areas were all exceptionally clean and well-kept. I absolutely loved the PIN access for the bathrooms; it made me feel safe and secure, especially when heading there at night. Having direct access to the waterfront was a real treat, and we enjoyed relaxing in the sand just steps from our site. The park is also in an ideal location with restaurants, cafés, and the town all within close reach. Highly recommend Cotton Tree Holiday Park for anyone looking for a clean, secure, and perfectly located stay by the water.

A Beautiful Spot, But Disappointing Service Cotton Tree has always been one of our favourite places to stay. The location is absolutely stunning, and we've made so many great memories here over the years. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, we've experienced a significant decline in communication and customer service, which has been confusing, frustrating and at times, quite rude. I don’t normally leave negative reviews, as I understand how impactful they can be. But I truly hope this feedback encourages the current owners and staff to improve their communication and organisation. Cotton Tree is a special place and I’d love nothing more than to enjoy our holidays there again without the stress. We had planned, as we do every year, to camp at Cotton Tree during the September school holidays. However yesterday we received an email notifying us that our booking had been cancelled and refunded due to works being carried out in that area of the grounds. What’s more disappointing is that we were told not to call, as there would be no opportunity to secure an alternative spot. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, the lack of notice and unwillingness to assist us, especially given the issues with communication over the past couple of years, makes this particularly disheartening. It now leaves our family and friends scrambling to find a suitable camping spot during one of the busiest times of the year. I genuinely hope Cotton Tree can turn things around. It’s such a beautiful destination and it would be a real shame to see it lose the community’s trust due to poor service.
Becky M — Google review
Can't really tell you much about this place as we decided not to stay. But we did look around and what we did see is this. The location is beautiful of course as it is right on the beach. The office staff very helpful and friendly. The park was fully booked except for one slab we saw that was right alongside the entrance driveway, so not great. More of a car park spot than a holiday spot. In fact most of the camping spots we saw were really small and everyone packed really tightly in side by side with no real privacy. I reckon you could easily hear your neighbours snore at night. We have been to lots of caravan parks, and this is one we will probably never choose because $80 a night is way too much for a plot size that would be the absolute minimum. Even for the very experienced, fitting a caravan into allocated spot would be almost impossible if the others were full around you. Did not check the shower blocks and laundry eymtc but no reason to think they would be bad. The park clean and tidy and well kept.
Merrily W — Google review
We camped close to the beach and it was awesome to hear the waves all night. Great park, very clean, no mosquitoes or sandflies where we camped in the tent sites. The amenities were always clean, great hot showers with plenty of water pressure. We went during the week and it was great, fairly quiet and lots of room. Will definitely come back again, we had a great time.
Sandy S — Google review
Just spent another amazing 8 weeks at this amazing park in our van and lived every minute. Office staff couldnt be more helpful and always professional and polite and also like to mention the ground staff especially Reece and Brian who always had time for a hello and sometimes a quick chat. We have been coming to this park for many many years and will continue to do so. Thank you cotton tree.
Donna M — Google review
Pos:Beautiful spot on Cotton Tree beach, cyrstal clear calm waterways great for kids! Views and sunsets are one of the best on this coastline. Unfortunatley was $80 for an out of season non powerd stand! And after taking the money they never left a late checkin entry, so could not get in after 5pm.
Neill M — Google review
Absolutely love our time there, the location is perfect for little humans, amenities are great etc. Left a bit sour after we were charged extra for leaving a little later due to having to rudimentary wash our set up (our campsite was under a tree which hosted many many bush turkeys overnight (100+ poop to clean). Would recommend the host not renting that site (40) to the public while the turkey are residing there overnight. Or at least give a warning.
Catherine R — Google review
$80 dollars a night for a site is equal to $560 a week. For a tiny space. The location is amazing, but the facilities and service do not reflect the price at all... Also, as if $80 were not enough, they charge you extra for late check-ins ...

Located on the beautiful surf beach at Cotton Tree, Maroochy Surf Club is a popular spot offering a delightful dining experience. Whether you're there for breakfast, morning tea, or lunch, the club provides stunning views of the beach and an opportunity to watch the Maroochydore Cygnets nipper lifesavers in action. The menu features a variety of options including share plates, entrees, mains, and desserts suitable for all tastes and budgets.
Brunch lunch with a view❣️ Spectacular! Beach was too windy so watching the ocean while feasting on delicious meals. Mariner schnitzel $30 & 2 fisherman's baskets @ $34 - delicious. $5 membership for the year gives discounts on drinks & meals etc - cheap as chips. Views amazing & sheltered from the elements. Close & walking distance to so many sights on that part of Maroochy & Cotton tree. Highly recommended.

It's a Surf Club. Awesome views if seated along the window. High volume output with a medium sized menu, offering a good range of choices plus a chef's special board. Atmosphere is typical Club vibe with views overlooking the surf 🏄‍♂️ below and vast views of the ocean as far as the eye can see 👀. Presentation of food is above average 👏 for a fast paced, volume environment. Prices $ were reasonable. Portion size was generous. Overall taste was good. Deserts are not worth getting as they are bought in, pre portioned and not fresh. We actually sent one back. Advice: Pay the $5 and become a member to save $2 for each item you order.

We used the Maroochy surf club for our wedding. It was easily the best decision we made. Out of all the people we dealt with for our wedding, Amy was by far the most professional and helpful. She always responded to our emails quickly, allowed us times to visit and try out styling, have dance practice, etc. We had a day wedding, so got to enjoy an amazing background to our wedding. We only had 40 people and the room was well set out that it didn't feel empty. I think this room works for small and large weddings. I strongly recommend using Maroochy surf club for any event you might be thinking.

Went for a swim at the famous Maroochydore beach, my sisters local swimming spot, fantastic, plenty of shade, patrolled surf. Access to the club to have a cuppa, beer n chips n still be able to watch those in the surf still. Great afternoon out.

Beautiful view. It’s a shame the food was terrible. Overpriced and lacked any kind of flavour. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread, cheesy garlic grilled chicken wrap, fish and chips and the three amigos pizza. The pizza was probably the only meal that came close to being worth the amount we paid. Overall extremely disappointed, I’ve had better quality meals at a fraction of the price.
Caitlin W — Google review
Great little spot right on the beach with extensive views & seating to suit this. I had the Fisherman’s Catch. The oysters were fantastic. King Prawns were good size & fresh. As was the salad. Fish & chips slightly overcooked but Calamari spot on. Overall a good sized portion. Not too big & not too skimpy. I love a good surf club & Maroochy ticks all the boxes.

Ocean Ended at Platinum offers a memorable dining experience in Maroochydore, with its gold-star service, coastal cuisine, and stunning views of the Maroochy River. The restaurant serves seasonal and locally-caught seafood, providing a diverse menu that showcases the region's flavors. Guests can enjoy a friendly and elegant atmosphere while watching various water activities on the river. The fine dining establishment presents beautifully plated dishes with exceptional taste.
The setting being open to the river and the ocean beyond sets the scene nicely. The waiting staff were good and allowed just about the correct amount of time between courses. The food though is exceptional. Went with two locals who had this on their bucket list. Can not fault the presentation or timing of getting food to the table. Just hope the photos do justice to the experience. Would recommend to anyone who wants a great meal. And unusually, so I understand they have their own wash room facilities.

Went here for Sunday lunch last week with a small group and had a wonderful experience. The service was second to none and waitstaff could not do enough to keep us happy. At no time did we feel rushed to finish our meals and leave even though it got quite busy. The atmosphere was relaxing as you would expect from a fine dining restaurant and the view of the river out to the ocean was lovely. We started off with a couple of cocktails and NGL the Sunshine Passion is to die for. For entreé we ordered the prawn and crab croquettes, pork belly, bresaola and a half dozen oysters which were all perfectly cooked and presented. For mains, The chef’s seafood plate (slow cooked octopus finished on the grill) got 5 stars as did the barramundi fillet which was cooked to perfection. The only disappointment was the scotch fillet which unfortunately was a thin cut with some gristle making it tougher than it should have been. Finally, dessert was ordered and once again all were delicious! The tiramisu was a surprising twist on a traditional favourite. By the time we finished we were all much fuller than expected as the serving size for all meals was quite a bit larger than the menu alludes to. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Ocean Ended and the price per person for all food and drinks was really good value.

What a beautiful experience from the time we walked in to the time we left. Venue was lovely and clean, with white table cloths on each table, we were greeted when we arrived and shown to our table, very impressed my chair was pulled out for me. The waitress was lovely she helped us with our choices and checked in on us during our meal. My partner and I ordered the beef eye fillet - this was cooked to perfection and the best we have ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant, we were there on the Saturday night and wanted to go again on the Monday but sadly they were closed.

Dinner last night. It was superb. The quality of ingredients, service, and food was 5 * If we were local it would be our go to place. Even our children loved the mocktails and food. Great place for all occasions. We will definitely visit again when back in Maroochydore. Support these quality places and you won’t be disappointed. For a fine dining restaurant, the portion sizes were great. The vegetarian choices were also amazing. The photos below are the chefs seafood plate starter- Scollop with pea purée, salmon with crouton’s and fresh calamari. The vegetarian starter, the chicken Ballantine starter and the seafood risotto Main.

Delicious food. The staff were lovely and really friendly. We got the dinner special (olives and feta, salmon tartare, fish of day and crab linguine, crumble, brulee) all really fresh, tasty and filling. Good value for money and good food. Beach Street Deli, located across from the Maroochydore SLSC, is a great spot to grab a coffee or enjoy a meal. The cafe offers morning options like bacon & eggs and serves dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Visitors praise the tasty food, generous portions, and friendly service. The inclusive staff accommodated a group of adults living with disabilities by offering freshly baked treats and finding suitable alternatives for those with dietary restrictions.
The coffee here is good. Adjacent to the surf club and the beach, this cafe is a great place for a coffee catch up or a relaxed breakfast. It has a relaxed vibe with its funky, colourful, retro decor. It isn’t just about the food, but also the experience.

The staffs are friendly. We had one chai latte, one dirt chai and one ginger boost. All drinks are on the too sweet side for us. Maybe it's good for some people. The location is great, just in front of the ocean, got street parking We had three big breakfasts and one something different. We all hope more green on the plate. We kind of get one spinach on each plate. Whole plate looks brown. My Sunnyside up's egg white still transparent, could be done a little more. My friend's plate has a hair/ thick eyebrow thing, she found out in the end of her meal. It was under food. She didn't want to bother because it's almost finished...

Not really on the beach but has a slight view and the breeze was appreciated on this very hot and steamy morning. Felt like the furniture could be cleaner, but the atmosphere is still pretty appropriate for the location.

We are visiting from NZ and wanted to find a local place for brunch. This didn't disappoint The good was excellent and the vibe of this busy cafe was cool. Other patrons looked like locals which is a great indicator of a good spot We highly recommend

Chinese restaurant
Nestled along the scenic riverwalk of Sunshine Plaza, Yum Cha Sunshine Plaza is a vibrant haven for those seeking a delightful yum cha experience. Perfect for weekend gatherings or leisurely lunches with friends and family, this spacious venue caters to larger groups effortlessly. The extensive menu presents an exciting challenge as you navigate through an array of delectable dishes that are sure to please any palate.
This was my first time eating at Yum Cha Sunshine Plaza, and I quite enjoyed the food. We ordered the salted custard buns, sticky rice chicken in bamboo leaves, and chicken wrap in lettuce. The salted custard buns and sticky rice chicken were delicious. I can never say no to the runny filling of a custard bun. The chicken wrap in lettuce was quite salty, and I would not order it again. The staff welcomed us warmly upon arrival. However, we asked for table water twice but were left unattended.

The interesting thing about this restaurant is that they serve yum cha for dinner, which is rare. The uninteresting fact is that the food and customer service is ordinary here and one of the worst yum cha I've had. The dumplings, steamed rice were all a bit soggy from oversteaming and didn't taste fresh. It is consistent with all their dishes that their yumcha isn't as good as the metropolitan restaurants. When the waiter was collecting our plates he spilled the squid dish but didn't bother cleaning up either so that reduces the customer service ratings. They don't serve tea by default and you actually have to request for it too. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you have strong cravings for yumcha and can't wait to return to Brisbane (or another big city). Regards @fooderarri

The place was disappointing. The lighting was so dim it felt unwelcoming. The shrimp dumplings were not fresh—even the replacement basket was bitter and the wrapper smelled off. The wonton soup came with just two clumped wontons, and the fried rice noodles tasted old and soggy. Definitely not worth it. the food lived up to the poor reviews on Google.
Farrah F — Google review
I’ve eaten some good Yum Chas around Taiwan and China, this is 2/10. While the dumplings were good, the rest was very mediocre. We have a piece of paper as a table cloth, something I’d expect in a side alley eatery in Shanghai. The stir fried vegetables, was boiled, with an enormous amount of uncooked Oyster sauce dumped on top. The steamed Pork Ribs, is not Pork Ribs, it’s off cuts of the Pork Ribs.
Eugene L — Google review
One of the worst Char Siew Roast pork we ever tasted . It is like meat soak in honey sauce . Nothing like the real thing . The sticky rice is also below par. The rest of dishes like Salted eggs custard buns , fried turnip cake , beef brisket and pork ribs in black beans are acceptable but not fantastic.
Ang A — Google review
Terrible experience. Waitress took our order but forgot to place it into the kitchen. Sat waiting for over 30 minutes & chased them up to be told the waitress was in training and forgot. Rushed the food to send it out. The food wasn’t nice when it did come out then to top it all off the staff stood behind the counter watching us eat! Asked for a discount and a very small one was offered. Please do NOT eat here. Overpriced, they watch you eat, they stand around half the time doing no work. Better options in the plaza. Save your money.
Hazel — Google review
Sadly not very authentic or tasty. Prices are steep for such quality. Saying that there were a few good dishes amongst the ones we ordered - the salty egg custard baos were delicious. The sticky rice wrapped in leaves were good as well - authentic.
Leen K — Google review
Had to give a three star review due to the fact that they tried to pass on a refrigerated ice cream as a fried ice cream and said that how it’s made. We have eaten a few fried ice creams before and never had this experience… the main food on the other hand was tasty. The cocktails are okay.. not great. Also expensive for the experience and the food. Was disappointed after coming here reading some positive reviews.

The Boat Shed & The Boat Shed Takeaway offer a stunning panoramic view of the Maroochy River, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely meal or special occasion. The modern Australian menu features creative mains, tapas, and desserts, with options like fresh oysters with pomelo and mint or kangaroo loin with red wine braised cabbage. For a more casual experience, visitors can grab fish and chips from the takeaway window and enjoy a picnic in the park while watching the sunset.
One of the best Fish & Chip locations on the Coast. Location is stunning on a sunny day. Eat in the restaurant or take away and relax on the outdoor fringe with stunning views and lovely vibes. This particular day, there was live music 🎶 happening in the outdoor section of the restaurant so we got to enjoy that as a bonus. See the pics 📸 and watch the video 📹 below for what I am writing about. Highly recommend this place.

Did a birthday celebration in the main restaurant - food was good and service was ok. We went on a Friday for an early dinner and unfortunately it was so loud with the outdoor DJ and many people drinking along the front it is not the ideal place to have relaxing dinner. Would be better to go later in the evening and hope the rowdiness has calmed down but I can’t confirm. We were seated right next to the water which was nice but many people are sitting right next to you drinking which gives more a PUB vibe. The lights get really dark after 6pm so hard to see the menu or the food. Someone also smashed a beer glass at the front of the restaurant where people were drinking and it took awhile for staff to clear. Food was enjoyable and the dessert was delicious. Would not go back however.

What a lovely day out! We came across this by accident because we were looking for a last minute feed only to come across this at the back of the cotton tree car park! Right on the water it is a beautiful and relaxing place coupled with beautiful food, it was a great place to find, and have been back since. Great food, great service and an amazing beach view.

I arrived at the restaurant and was waiting to be acknowledged by a staff member. A waitress walked right past me twice, completely ignoring my presence.I eventually approached her to ask for a table and how the ordering worked. She answered, "We are fully booked, only tapas outside." Without any sympathy, she handed me the tapas menu and walked away. She didn't ask how many people were in my party or what time I wanted to eat. There was no attempt to accommodate me, just a dry, careless service. It's a real shame, as the restaurant was completely empty, and I only wanted a quick lunch for one person, which would have been easily possible. I understand when a place is genuinely busy, but in this case, her lack of effort was completely unwarranted.

We came back again as the service was EXCEPTIONAL the day prior! One of our party had an episode, (read, severe blood nose) and they handled it with dignity, grace, professionalism, care and consideration. Gave him a staff shirt to wear home and wasn’t fazed with what happened to their napkin! Unbelievable!😍🥰 Apart from that, the food was TOP NOTCH!!! Magnificently presented, interesting combinations and generous servings. Both days were exceptional! Thank you so much!!!!

SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium, located at The Wharf in Mooloolaba, is a vibrant marine attraction with 11 themed zones showcasing diverse marine creatures. Visitors can walk through an 80-meter ocean tunnel and observe sharks, rays, and fish swimming overhead. The aquarium offers educational programs for kids and the opportunity to hold sea stars.
Was a great experience. Relatively easy to get in. I suggest It only takes about an hour to an hour and a half to see everything. However, it's much nicer if you have the mindset of going through and enjoying each part of the experience. Probably only need about 2 to 3 hours here with kids at most before they ready for something else. Great experience and would recommend.

Visited here on a Sunday. There was no wait. Time to get in. It was quite good. Arrived. Just in time to see the seal show which was quite informative and fun to watch good size little aquarium. Take the kids walk around. Sharks manta rays seahorses etc had a great day. Staff friendly Would recommend.

Awesome Aquarium, very focused on wildlife knowledge and how to care for the environment. Our son loved it, and was frothing from start to finish. The seal show was awesome, and loved the tunnels with sharks, days and fish. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and very well priced experience. Book online early to get discount tickets but either way is a great day out for the family

Great experience at the aquarium! We saw all of the displays, heard a talk about the penguins 🐧 & saw a seal show! As two students the tickets were affordable and the experience was worth while! Not sure how great the venue would be for repeat visits but it was an excellent and highly recommended spot for a day trip while in Moolooaba. The seal shows were at 10:30 and 12:30 from memory, this may vary day to day. Lovely staff and good vibes all around:)

I attended on a weekday with my husband & 5 & 3 year old boys. We absolutely loved it! The seal show was amazing. The penguins were super cute. The underwater tunnel was superb. So much sea life. We were able to touch the starfish on entry. The different things to see & do were fantastic.

Awesome place Always great fun to chill and just watch and relax. My daughter 14 had a blast. Loves sharks great day will definitely be back again for seal photos.
DUANE S — Google review
The admission prices are reasonable. But if you book days in advance they are cheaper. We paid an extra $15 per person for the Behind-the-Scenes Tour I loved seeing all the animals. There was an adorable baby penguin and a fun hands-on section where we got to touch some marine life. Walking through the underwater tunnels was definitely a highlight, it felt like being surrounded by the ocean — though it was crowded at times. The Behind-the-Scenes Tour was a great experience. We saw how they house for injured animals and protect local marine life. There were three green sea turtles recovering, and we got to look down into the big pool above the tunnels — seeing the sharks and other animals swimming below was amazing. The seal show was light-hearted and fun, especially Ruby, a playful five-year-old seal. She was absolutely adorable! In total, we saw three seals during the show. The café, which had some food options — mainly small snacks and pies. So, don’t expect a full meal there. The only downside was, the Behind-the-Scenes Tour felt a little short, and unfortunately, no photos or videos were allowed during it. A wonderful experience and perfect would definitely come back again!!

Mooloolaba Beach is the heart of the Sunshine Coast and my absolute favourite place to be. From the clean sand to the calm surf, it’s the kind of spot that makes you feel lucky to live here. The area has everything, great cafes, beautiful walking paths, and a stunning view every day. The council keeps improving it too, more seating, better lighting, cleaner facilities. You can see the effort going into making it even better for locals and visitors. Sure, traffic can build up on weekends and holidays, but honestly, that’s what happens when a place is this good. This beach is a big reason I never want to leave the Sunshine Coast. It’s not just a destination, it’s a lifestyle.

Very picturesque park situated on the banks of Maroochy river. Has a variety of swings and playground for the kids and bbq facilities. Also has the war memorial which is very nice. Toilets and undercover picnic tables and bbq. There is also a public jetty available. The area can be quite busy on weekends so parking can be difficult. Play areas are not fenced off so watch little ones near the water and busy road. Close to cafes as well.

Ppl with special needs would be perfect for them as the water is flat & calming.

Visitors can enjoy picnic areas with tables and BBQ grills while immersing themselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Stunning location with a beautiful waterfall at the end of the walk that you can swim under or walk behind. There are a few rocks to climb over and up which an be a little slippery, so moderate fitness and agility recommended. However, my two kids scaled it all like mountain goats! A great morning activity!

I came from the boardwalk at Harry’s Hut end. It was a lovely flat walk, crisscrossing the water and in the shade. Right at the end it gets rocky and is not suited for everyone. It’s only a short bit that’s slippery, but if you can’t make the rocks safely, you won’t reach the falls coming from the way I did. The boardwalk is nice on its own, so definitely try Harry’s Hut entrance.

Buderim Falls, also known as Serenity Falls, is a breathtaking natural gem nestled in the heart of Buderim Forest Park on the Sunshine Coast. This picturesque waterfall and its surrounding tranquil rock pools and sub-tropical rainforest are a must-visit destination for nature lovers and photographers. *Key Highlights:* - *Scenic Waterfall*: The waterfall flows year-round, but it's particularly spectacular after rainfall, transforming into a strong cascade of water down the rock face into the shallow pool below. - *Swimming Hole*: The natural waterhole is perfect for cooling off, but be cautious of strong currents and submerged rocks. - *Walking Trails*: The 0.8km circuit trail is suitable for all fitness levels, with a 700m elevated wooden boardwalk section that's wheelchair and pram-friendly. - *Picnic Areas*: Enjoy a meal with family and friends at the picnic tables and barbecue facilities near the car park. - *Wildlife and Birdlife*: Keep an eye out for native birds, such as whipbirds and catbirds, and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. *Tips and Essentials:* - *Best Time to Visit*: Visit early in the morning or on a weekday to avoid crowds. - *Getting There*: The falls are located about 15 minutes' drive from Mooloolaba, with two entry points: the lower entry via Harry's Lane and the upper entry point at Quorn Close. - *Facilities*: Toilets, picnic tables, and barbecue facilities are available at both entry points. - *Safety*: Be mindful of slippery rocks and strong currents in the waterhole. *Rating:* Overall, Buderim Falls is a 4.7-star experience, offering stunning natural beauty, scenic walking trails, and a perfect spot for relaxation. With its picturesque setting and tranquil atmosphere, it's an ideal destination for families, couples, and nature enthusiasts.

Good little walk. You can get to the main waterfall in less than 5 min from this entrance. We came in July, but this should be a treat in the summer with all the shade and rock pools. Worth a visit!

A very nice and quiet place (easy to hear the waterfall from a distance) that has plenty of trees and an even nicer waterfall cascading down over a large rock into the rock pool below. Quite a fair bit of ascending & descending over man-made steps & natural rocks that needs to be done to reach the waterfall, and the bridge is a little wobbly. Will be back.

Ready for an unforgettable adventure? This isn't your average stroll. Prepare to descend into a breathtaking rainforest valley, a living time capsule carved by Martins Creek. Navigate a tangle of ancient tree roots as you follow a path of traditional rock steps. You're not just walking; you're journeying through a vibrant, lush haven that’s a relic from a warmer, wetter Australia. This incredible landscape is the ancestral home to countless unique plants and animals, making every step a step back into a primeval past. The grand finale? The stunning waterfall area, a reward for your exhilarating trek!

A delightful escape from everyday stresses and the rat-race. This park is cool, dark and filled with an awesome sense of nature, right smack in the middle of the suburban Sunshine Coast. Meander along the walkways, climbing down stairs and over rocks, until you reach the magical waterfall in the park’s rainforest heart. If only every suburb, like Buderim, had a conserved heart section of the natural landscape like this one! That would be genuinely amazeballs, batman! Worth a visit.

The market itself is great, fresh food and friendly stallholders. Unfortunately, the car park is like entering a Hunger Games arena, run by self-appointed traffic wardens in hi-vis. I know they’re volunteers, not paid staff, but wow… one in particular carried on like he’d rather be anywhere else. Honestly, if you hate it that much, have a Sunday sleep-in and let the rest of us park without the attitude. Nothing says “community spirit” quite like being barked at before you’ve even made it to the first stall.

The Prickly Pinata Fresh Mexican Cantina is a vibrant dining destination that perfectly captures the essence of fresh and healthy Mexican cuisine. With its inviting atmosphere, this restaurant is ideal for both lunch and dinner, offering stunning views that enhance your dining experience. The charming decor features pastel-colored walls adorned with sugar skulls and cacti, creating a relaxed beach vibe. Guests rave about their experiences here, whether celebrating special occasions or enjoying casual meals with friends.
What a lovely place! Walked in on a whim and was seen to immediately. The staff were lovely, especially the lady in the pink top behind the bar. Had the pulled beef tacos with a side of home made hot sauce and a coconut margarita. All came out quick. The tacos weren't overloaded with crap to pezazz them up but were so tastey. The home made hot sauce is full of flavour woth an amazing kick and the margarita was spicey, tangy with a hint of creaminess. Looks like I'll be putting on some weight while in town

2 bites & binned it! Disgusting! No flavour! 3 different dishes, all foul. Nachos was spat out as the flavour of the pulled beef was unrecognisable. $4 for guacamole side, see pictures....your kidding. How can anyone call this edible. Absolute crap.
Frankie M — Google review
Was concerned going in as I seen lots of reviews describing it to be bland and tasteless, as I have experienced this before with another Mexican restaurant and didn’t want to be let down. We got the Birria beef tacos (broth was rich and spiced well), chicken enchiladas (also spiced well) with a side of guac and jalapeño poppers (average but good). All were flavoursome & I walked away pleasantly surprised. The staff was very attentive and friendly & open to discuss our experience. Their home made hot sauce was lovely - actually had spice and was really well balanced.

They ran out of chips 🤦🏼‍♂️ and jalapeño poppers. The service is nonexistent! 25 minutes before they even asked what drinks we wanted. Food was okay not spectacular just okay. Birria tacos were just beef cheese and onion.

Great fresh Mexican food. Variety of choices on the menu. We expected to feel very full and were surprised at the lightness and freshness of the food. The cocktails were really great! My favourite dish was the coconut garlic prawn tacos ....

Thanks to Elise and her team at Prickly's for making my 50th a very special evening. My family of 30 were impressed with the authenticity of the Mexican dishes, the delicious mocktails and cocktails and the personalised service where Elise ensured everyone's needs were met. We've celebrated numerous special occasions here for all these reasons and the assurance that our coeliac family members can enjoy any of the starters and most of the mains. We highly recommend the warm cheese dip, spiced fried calamari, beef brisket tacos or the marinated chicken tacos. Thank you team!

Tried the prickly pinata for the first time on Friday. It was reasonably busy when we arrived. Had not reserved a table. Waited a while and I had to ask staff to be seated, then ask to be served, and later check on our meals after waiting an hour. We were given a free soft drink, which was appreciated, but only soft drinks were offered. We also had to ask for cutlery. The server who looked after us was genuinely lovely and did her best. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting about 1 hour and 30 minutes for our meals. The atmosphere wasn’t very relaxing, with kids playing loudly on the stairs, though I know that’s not really the restaurant’s fault. The food itself was reasonable once it arrived.

So DISAPPOINTED TODAY! We have been here several times and have had takeaway a lot when we used to holiday in cotton tree. We are permanently living here now. Today we had tacos beef and fish both terrible the fish had the taste of old oil and the beef was tough and cold when we got it. The chips were not bad. The service was very slow considering 2 tables one of 4 and ours of 5. We had to ask for more drinks we had to ask if we could order. 2 floor staff very slow not real friendly we weren’t at all impressed today. The bill for 5 of us was around $200 a little excessive the tacos are very skimpy with meat and filling tomato & rocket that’s about it. It’s also really sad to see the replies to the negative reviews people DONT give negative reviews if they enjoyed there meal and are happy with the outing. Sadly we won’t be back or refer anyone to visit here it’s simply not worth it any way. Disappointed that’s for sure!

Asian restaurant
Rice Boi is a laid-back restaurant located by the harbor, offering a trendy atmosphere and serving Asian street food along with a cocktail bar. The venue features grunge decor, neon lights, and delectable Asian street food with water views. It's tucked behind large red barn-style doors and boasts an open kitchen for diners to observe their meals being prepared.
Great location, located at the mooloolaba wharf , just near the SEALIFE. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating . Outdoor seating can get really busy and need to wait longer. U can watch the river while enjoying ur food if u choose outdoor seating. Its worth the hype, really get busy at dinner time, try to come before 6pm if u dont want to wait on the line. The food was okay, the atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, the price was affordable. We tried the green curry and the fried chicken, the curry came with rice and enough portion to share. The curry taste okay (a bit salty for me) and nice creamy. The fried chicken was juicy inside and crunchy outside. Will try the ramen on the next visit. Definitely worth a try! 👍

Even though it’s walk-in only, it’s definitely worth the wait! Hands down the best Asian cuisine I’ve had on the Sunshine Coast. The chefs are professional, the food is delicious and beautifully plated. Make sure you try the dry-aged roast duck pancakes — a must!

Beautiful place to sit and enjoy some gorgeous food by the water. 3 adults, 3 mains, all absolutely delicious. 10hr slow cooked beef curry, char siu pork, calamari. $88 great price for amazing food! Fast service, would highly recommend!

Mainly sharing plates. You can’t book a table so you could end up queuing to get in as it’s very popular. Food is super tasty and fresh. Friendly service. Only issue for us was that the plates didn’t come out at the same time and were staggered. We sat in the garden bar area which was great.

The vibes of this place are just amazing. The decoration takes you to some place in Asia and the flavours of the food as well. What I realised in the last year is that no one really cares about the service, they just bring the food and clean the tables and that’s all about. It became so busy that no one really cares about the good service experience. Will be great to have some service apart from nice food and restaurant. Because sometimes it just feels like a fast food restaurant

We arrived around 5.30 and this place was cracking, by the time we left an hour later there would have been minimum 50 people waiting outside. Very very popular. Food was fresh and delicious and considering the amount of orders being put through we had our meal in great time, very impressed. If you want a quiet dinner perhaps give it a miss because there's so much going on in a good way, but may not be for everyone looking for a quiet evening. We weren't aware until we lined up to order that there was a specials board right near the counter so we changed our order, would have been nice if it could be seen from the dining tables or was mentioned upon seating, just a suggestion. Great meal and glad we went.

One word, unbelievable. Ordered the Katsu curry fries, chicken wings and Cha su pork, not a single fault. I've never sat in the garden before and have to say the vibe there is top notch. Try to go before everyone else gets hungry as there's always a bit of a line. Best to have an early dinner. I tried out the bubble tea and must've gotten unlucky as it was pretty dull. Not much flavour at all, but I saw them serve the same thing later and it looked darker so I can only assume it was a one off. Regardless, awesome experience.

Beef curry was 100/10 and the other dishes were good but not amazing. Prawn toast lacked flavour and so did the chicken bao. Cocktails were great.

Bar
The Beach Bar & Grill, located on the Mooloolaba Esplanade, offers a relaxed beachfront dining experience with regular acoustic music. On Tuesdays, guests can enjoy a budget-friendly deal of $22 for a 250g rump steak with chips and salad. The restaurant also features specials throughout the week including burgers and beer on Wednesdays, chicken parmy on Thursdays, and slow-cooked pork ribs with chicken wings on Fridays.
We ordered the Steak sandwich and the BLAT with added chicken breast from the lunchtime menu. They were good. They were very good. I thought for sure I’d only get through half of mine and give the rest to hubby but I got through at least 3/4 before begrudgingly admitting I was more than full. The steak was juicy and tender and not overcooked. The bun was soft and yummy. The bacon was perfect as well and all the salad ingredients were fresh and flavourful. Even the chips were delicious, crispy and hot. I did ask for some tomato sauce which they happily provided without charging which was unexpected and great service.

We ordered a takeaway of full bbq ribs with fries and twelve jamaican wings. The food taste amazing, and the servings are worth it for the price. The fries are crispy and the sauce are all good. The ribs has a missing slight crispiness as compared to what I tried on restaurant but the sauce completed it though. They served our order pretty quick. They might be packed during dinner so plan ahead. We finished it all, hence its five stars for us!

Had lunch there and ordered a steak sandwich. It was absolutely sensational. Best EVER. Slow cooked 12hrs rib fillet, super tender, full of flavour and beautiful soft fresh Turkish bread. The chips were amazing too. Chunky outside with a soft centre and perfect level of salt. Highly recommend.

Yeah it's alright. Nothing to write home about. Ordered the steak burger and yeah it's packed together with all the stuff you want on it. But biting into it just felt like a cheap clone of what a steak burger should be. It's not bad - just not great. And maybe it's the overly large dish it's all served on, but that serving of fries sure looked small. As for everything else - it's got a great location, a good vibe inside, decent views if you're at the window. For seating there was very limited low table availability. If you're not into sitting at the high tables on stools, you may be out of luck. Probably give it another shot the next time I'm up that way.

Tuesday dining.....Great local craft beer selection, $7 Schooners for happy hour and a 1/2, absolutely delicious!!! Came back later for the $26 steak and they nailed it! Steak cooked perfectly and the best crispy chips!!! Side salad was fresh and amazing. My choice is always Mushroom sauce and garlic sauce on the side.....I'd buy them by the bottle! 😋

The ads of the weekly special draw my attention. Tuesday steak night and Friday rib and wings look very good. We expected it should be good because it's easier for the chefs, but I was wrong. We ordered two serves of steak, and both of them were overcooked, with no flavour and super dry. We cancelled the booking on Friday after the meal. Disappointed.

The two ladies working here over lunch were lovely, both during the door greeting and service. I had a 350g Rump (R) and I was amazed at the quality, particularly because it was only a $35 steak. Huge compliments to the chef. Next time I'm visiting Sunshine Coast I will certainly be back. Thank you team! 😌

Modern Australian restaurant
Harry's On Buderim is a renowned fine dining restaurant located in the picturesque Buderim Forest Park on the Sunshine Coast. The restaurant is housed in a charming century-old homestead and offers modern Australian cuisine crafted by award-winning chef and owner Stuart Bell. The menu features seasonal dishes made with fresh, local produce sourced from nearby suppliers. Guests can enjoy their meals on the veranda, which provides stunning views of the rainforest and parklands.
This place really exceeded our expectations in every respect. The location, the ambience (including the soft French music), the attentiveness of the waiters (Dane & 'Hercule Poirot'), the food and presentation - and is there more? This place is 'fine dining' par excellence!! And I recommend a lovely amble up the 600m boardwalk plus another 200m to the little rock pool with waterfalls for a most refreshing dip afterwards... Now this is true living!!

I just wanted to leave a review about how wonderful our wedding reception at Harry’s on Buderim was. Peter and the excellent staff made the night flow effortlessly from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent (as always) and they had set the tables to the simple elegant look I wanted ( thanks to Peter who was only too happy to have meeting beforehand). It was a night I will never forget thank you for making it so special Tyler

We had the most amazing experience at Harry’s on Buderim. The food was absolutely impeccable every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into everything. The service was fantastic too, friendly, attentive, and made us feel so well looked after without being over the top. The setting is lovely and romantic, making it the perfect spot for a date night. Honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had on the Sunshine Coast — we’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely divine! Octopus entree was the best we have had, sirloin steak just perfect and the parsnips were sweet, pork was well flavoured and staff were very friendly, professional and attentive. We are looking forward to eating here again.

Delightful restaurant in a lovely setting at the foothills of Buderim forest. This is a high end establishment, with high end prices. We dined in the 'Fire Room', in one section of the building which had a wonderful open fire. This room was fully booked with 14 people dining here on this occasion, and unfortunately we found it a bit noisy in such a small room. There are plenty of other options where to dine, such as out on the decking overlooking a grassed area with trees surrounding, but the open fire was quite cozy. We all enjoyed our meal - adequate selection to cater for most peoples taste. Plenty of waitresses, and excellent service. Good selection of fine wines, with huge mark-up prices, this seems to be the practice at 'fine dining' restaurants. Be aware that there is Weekend Surcharge of 10% as well at 1.6% Card Surcharge. I've never heard of a 'weekend surcharge' before. Harry's on Buderim is a unique restaurant, well worth a visit for that special occasion.

It was the best dining experience I've had on the Sunshine Coast! Large portions, full of flavour, divine wine 🍷 😋... and the dessert selections were top tier! Definitely will be back here!!!!
Kelly S — Google review
Barramundi selection was tasty but not exceptional. Wine selection per glass limited. Did not stay for dessert because of arrogant and disinterested attitude of waitperson. Very disappointing. Restaurant chosen for setting in forest and in old home for birthday celebration with neighbour. Training for staff in basic good manners and pleasant attention to customers is recommended to justify menu and prices and to augment the lovely setting. Many good dining places on Sunshine Coast with pleasant staff to complement excellent food so not planning a return to or recommendation of Harry's.

I went for lunch and drinks with friends and overall, the experience was positive, with some room for improvement. Food & Service Timing: The food was great - fresh, tasty, and served in good time for most of our group. However, one friend’s steak sandwich arrived around 45 minutes late, which was disappointing and disrupted the flow of the meal. Staff made her carry it out as well when asking. Drinks & Ordering: One drawback was not being able to order drinks directly at the table. This not only made it less convenient but also meant I didn’t order as much as I would have if service had been easier. It’s a missed opportunity for both customer experience and revenue. Atmosphere & Setting: The location is excellent with beautiful views, and staff were attentive when it came to seating - clearly trying to give guests the best possible tables. This effort was appreciated and added to the overall dining atmosphere. Final Thoughts: Overall, the food and setting were great, but the long wait for one meal and lack of table service for drinks held the experience back from being exceptional. With those improvements, this venue could easily deliver a five-star outing.

As locals, we were excited to check out the new renovations and were pleasantly surprised buy the changes. Its now open with a very freinds and family vibe. We didn’t have a booking lunchtime sunday (understandably a busy time) while the menu gives all your usually suspects (steaks, burgers, pizza, snitzchel, parmi, even some great vegan options) at mostly fare prices. what i got was rather disappointing. Tiny Kill Patrick oysters way too salty, I couldn’t eat them all. Fish tacos were very ok what I’d expect for pub meal, but $19 for 2 seemed bit excessive. The lamb and mint sald, was fairly horrible. Had very little flavour, no mint flavour or mint that I could see, no heriloom tomatoes as listed on menu. And the lamb tasted a bit like it was leftovers from yesterdays roasts. While the staff were all trying to be accommodating I felt the lady on till was a little anbrupt, maybe just flustered with the crowds. They were a little overly attentive at times. Clearing glasses every 5 minutes and even taking plates before some of our table had either finished their last bite or were still eating. Somethings must have gone wrong in the kitchen because we did wait 45 mins - 1hour for meals to arrive. I do hope these are just teething problems, as theres so much potential. Looking forward to coming back in a little bit too see if things can be better.

I wish I could post something positive about this dinner experience but I cant .It started with the drinks order .Handy hint ,bar staff ,dont pour my beer until the cocktails are made .Bring the drinks to the table together .Think about the customers experience .I sat there drinking a beer and my wife waited and waited and waited. Next came the dinner .My meal arrived and my wife waited and waited and waited .15 minutes went by and no meal .We asked about it and a waiter followed it up.Five minutes went by and the meal arrived .The pork belly .Or should I say the five centimetres of pork fat and five millimetres of pork Enough coleslaw on the plate to feed four people.Just slap it on the plate. We took it back . We got offered another meal but by then my poor wife was so angry and miserable and sad we just asked for and got a refund. No one deserves such bad service . It would appear that theres no customer service training ,no connection to hospitality ,just a machine whose objective is to feed as many people as possible with a mad rush that disconnects the customer from the ambience . .My rump steak was delicious .But thats not the point is it .We were supposed to go out to dinner together ,to talk about our day over a drink and a meal . We might just as well have been on a holiday to Fiji but on seperate flights. Not really the point of it all is it . And please ,if we ever do come back dont slide my meal between my wife and I with the hope that it doesnt slide off the table onto the floor . Do better .

Visited Saturday 23/8/25 after the fresh renovation. The establishment definitely has a fantastic vibe. Plenty of seating options, inside and out. Water views on the deck too if you prefer. My meal was excellent. I got a vegan noodle bowl. It was plentiful and fresh. It was brought out in a timely manner too considering the venue was absolutely packed with a line-up out the door waiting for tables. I would have given 5 stars except 2 little teething problems prompted me to drop 1 star. Those being...No water station and no jugs of water allowed. The line ups at the bar to order food and drinks were long in length and time. Therefore it also took forever to get a glass of water. Ultimately I'm sure all of this will be sorted as it's barely been reopened a week. We will definitely be back.

We visited for the first time since the refurbishment on a busy Friday night. We arrived 20 minutes early for our 7:00 pm reservation and as expected, were politely told to grab a drink and wait by the fireplace and when the table was ready, someone would come and notify us. However, when 7:00 pm came, no one had come to seat us, so we had to ask at the counter and was told our table was ready. We placed our order via the me&u app around 7:15 pm, including Oysters Kilpatrick and mains, with the instruction to have the oysters brought out alongside the mains. Given the busy night, we weren’t too surprised that our food hadn’t arrived by 7:45 pm. At 7:50 pm, the oysters arrived, overcooked and dry. For $55 a dozen, I expected far better quality. We assumed the mains would follow soon, as per our instruction. By 8:15 pm, after an hour without food, except the mediocre Oysters, our patience was wearing thin and the sympathy we had for them due to how busy it was, had evaporated. Given the time, the crowd had also diminished by about half, so being run off their feet was no longer an excuse. I politely approached the counter to ask for an update on our order. The staff member said she would check and come to our table with information, and hopefully with our food. Fifteen minutes later, I had to return to the counter myself. The same staff member apologised, explaining they hadn’t even started cooking our mains when I first approached her. I asked why, was it just forgotten about, and she said yes. I expressed that this was completely unacceptable, given we had been waiting for over an hour. To her credit, she offered a full refund and still offered to bring us our meals if we were willing to wait longer. I appreciated the refund, which is why I’m giving this review 3 stars instead of 1. Our meals eventually arrived, along with a further serving of oysters, despite already having received them. The staff insisted we keep the extra oysters, but they were no better than the first batch, still not worth the price. The mains were average, and the oysters were disappointing. It seemed like they had used plain BBQ sauce for the Kilpatrick, with no noticeable Worcestershire sauce. To add to the frustration, table service was nearly nonexistent. We had to stack our glasses at the end of the table, to the point they reflected the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and our empty oyster plate sat untouched for 25 minutes before we had to move it to a vacant table ourselves. Staff passed by multiple times without acknowledging it. I reserve 4 stars for experiences that meet expectations and 5 stars when those expectations are exceeded. While the refund gesture helped, it doesn’t make up for the overall poor experience. I'm doubtful we will return, as our expectations were not met in any meaningful way.

We hired the 12 seater BBQ boat last weekend. There was only 5 of us so we had plenty of room and a toilet also, which was nice. Only thing I'd think about next time is a ladder for getting on/off the boat as it was a tad difficult for my young kids to do on their own, but we managed. The staff are so helpful and really friendly. They go through everything in great detail and provide you heaps on info on what to do and where to go. We had such a wonderful morning here. There was so much for our 6 year old to conquer, the climbing wall area and dodgem cars were highlights but the entire experience was fantastic. The staff were all so kind and patience; a special thank you to Shauna who was clearly very experienced in working with kiddies on the spectrum and made our son’s morning so much more wonderful.

Do not bring your toddlers here if you value their safety and well being. Visited on Saturday 31/05/2025 with our 2 year old. Asked the staff member at the entrance before purchasing the tickets whether the toddler area was restricted to toddlers. He advised that it was. There is also a sign at the entrance of the toddler area that very clearly states: "THIS AREA IS FOR 1-3 YEARS ONLY, TODDLER WRISTBANDS ONLY". However, the area was full of children who would have been 8-9 years old, if not older and they were showing absolutely no regard to the toddlers who were actually supposed to be in there. Some of these older children were pegging balls at eachother from the ball pit and throwing them out side of the fence, they were running around like crazy hogging the climbing area so the younger children couldn't use it and worst of all my son got stomped on by one of them in the ball pit. The staff simply don't care about this behaviour either, there is not a single one policing the toddler area and not a single one even walked past. I approached the staff at the front 3 times asking for them to send a staff member to remove the older children and not once did they do this. We then decided to take our son out to get some food. The pizza we ordered was cold and had way too much sauce, it was inedible. After that, we decided to just leave. I was absolutely disgusted with this place and will not be returning and will be also telling everyone we know with children to avoid this place.

Great place for kids to have fun! We recently had a party there also, as per my child's wishes. The staff were extremely helpful on the day. The over the phone communication at times was frustrating depending what staff you called for information. Some young staff seemed disinterested in answering questions and others were more helpful. On the day everything flowed really well and all of the staff were great. Best part about having a party at rush was seeing the kids have fun but also, no after party cleanup. Supervision was easy and they took care of all of the catering (minus the cake). I'd have a party there in future
Roxy K — Google review
This place is always a great option for the kids. It’s a little on the expensive side, but definitely worth it to let them burn off some energy, especially on a rainy day. The staff are lovely—friendly, and really attentive when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness. My only criticism is the chicken nuggets from the café—they were terrible. Even the kids wouldn’t eat them.
Sum C — Google review
Poor customer service felt like we were inconveniencing them. Largest play centre on Sunshine Coast and a sub par standard. Don't waste your money
Daniel V — Google review
We have had a great morning at Rush Adventureland! Only negative is the toddler area is quite small and not fenced, so a few meltdowns of toddlers I saw wanting to go with the “big kids”, although not generally enforced. Coffee and milkshakes were excellent. A great fun day out with the kids rain, hail or shine.

Daughters and her friend loved playing here. Was disappointing to see the high coaster was closed on a public holiday. Was told they only open the high coaster on weekends. Bumper cars $10 ride is seem pretty steep for 1 turn.

Great day for the kids ages 7 &.8 a little expensive compared to others, but lots of fun to be had . It’s clean and has good food The best part is the staff - they’re so friendly and helpful to young kids .

Wow very tasty and super hot chilli 🌶 great outdoor area. There is a member club to join. Pork rolls are alway great love the crispy crackling.

I have had Roll'd times before but first time having it delivered via the Roll'd app. I rang ahead before placing the order on the app to the store to check whether they put the dressing in the Goí salad as I was keep one of the two in the fridge for the next day. The dressings were packed in their individual containers. Great notifications via email, app and sms with updates on delivery and eta. A couple downers although plenty meat and unless recipes have changed to the beef strips (as previously had) the meat (lemon grass beef goì) was all clumped together. The sweet potato fries were cold. A handful of the crab crackers hadn't expanded fully and weren't cooked and not edible. On a positive note Hubby enjoyed his 3x BBQ Chicken Baos. We did eat all the fries, crab crackers and lemon grass beef goí. The shredded chicken goí i refrigerated overnight.

First the pho was disgusting. It was blend, watery and has no flavour whatsoever. The dish is served with no lemon slice, no hoisin sauce and sriracha offered so nothing authentic. The tables were sticky, no one come and wipe or clean them after customers eat. No recommended. On top of that about 30min later my stomach went funny…
Beautis C — Google review
We order chicken pho but you can rarely find chicken and noodles was little bit more cooked. But still it was good because I was hungry and it was raining outside 😊

I rarely give a one-star review but today I did. It was really bad experience with my meal. Please make sure to train staff well before let them handle whole restaurant at night. First, they were nice and polite but with really poor food quality. I was a fan of this restaurant, it was one of my favourite meal in the plaza but today what I got was a cold pho noodle with chewy uncooked meat. A lady who ordered after us also got cold one as I could see she returned the bowl too. My hubby got a banmi which was just deep fried but dried pork belly and a few pieces of vege and I'm not too sure that's right with non cut shallot it was too long to eat.
YU L — Google review
The staff here were young and innattentive. The provided tables were mostly piled with rubbish from previous customers and the ingredients tubs were on their way to forming some sort of combined salad. Plenty of opportunity for cross contamination. That being said, the vegan lemon chicken bahn mi I bought was delicious. Maybe a little small for $10 though. Could have probably eaten two of them.
Narayana F — Google review
I ordered The bun bo hue and 2 soldiers. Noodles that came in the BBH was super thick like udon noodles which is not traditional at all and very different compared to when i ordered 2yrs ago. The meat on the bbq chicken soldier smelled and tasted off and from one bite i had to throw it out. I used to love this restaurant but the quality of the food you put out is not good at all
Sylvia A — Google review
curry chicken is tasty but when i get the meal, it’s already cold……i’m lazy to tell them because i’ve already eat it. beef pho is not yet seasoned at all, we tell the staff, they cook another new for us, but take us 10more mins for waiting…. but staff’s attitude is good, food price is reasonable, thank you!

If you're in the mood for a delicious pizza experience, look no further than Domino's Pizza Maroochydore. This popular delivery and carryout chain offers an extensive menu featuring a variety of pizzas alongside tempting sides. Customers rave about the generous toppings and perfectly cooked pies, with each slice cut to precision. Super kind staff and always on time. Never had anything wrong with my order. 10/10 best experience I’ve ever had from any dominoes store.

I ordered a Veggie Paneer pizza and was shocked to find beef in it. On top of that, there was no sauce, which seems to be a regular issue at this Domino’s. After a lot of back and forth, they finally made me a new pizza, but it was on the classic crust even though I ordered thin crust. There was no manager available to complain to, and the whole experience was very disappointing. As a vegetarian, this mistake is unacceptable, and the way it was handled was unprofessional. I will not be coming back to Domino’s Maroochydore. Management really needs to step up.

In 4 years we bought 3 times here, 3 different types of pizzas. Last time yesterday meat lover. Just as a friend. Please please please if u care about yourself just a little, please don't buy pizza, at least not here. I can’t describe how it was 😰

I ordered pick up tonight (Sun 19/10/2025) Thanks for going beyond expectation just to make up for an unavailable item. I didn't expect anything more than just a phone call for letting me know (some places they just don't care!) Keep up the good work guys! p.s. The gentleman who gave us a call was truly a hospo gem! Manner & professionalism in him are hard to find these days 🤓

Pizzas were very small lacking topping. Vegetarian selection is extremely poor and the taste was not good. If your considering dominos pizza Maroochydore store please consider fish and chips as you’ll get more bang for your buck unless you want 13 year olds making your tasteless overpriced pizza made with filthy unwashed hands.

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's, an iconic and enduring fast-food establishment recognized for its hamburgers and crispy potatoes, has established itself as a staple in the industry. Renowned for its consistent quality of service, this renowned chain offers a wide array of delectable options including alternative soy-based burgers and their beloved French fries. Moreover, they have also made strides in providing satisfactory coffee offerings with varying temperatures; one being pleasantly hot while the other slightly lukewarm.
Ok so the food was very fresh and hot, but when I asked for the limited tiny tan happy meal she said she had no idea what I was talking about, not a big deal so it was fine I ordered a happy meal and got it any way so it was all good, BUT WHEN I OPEN THE TINY TAN I GOT THE ONE I REALLY DIDNT WANT. Yeah but no complains because not one really chose it so it was all good, the food is always fresh when I go there aswell

I'm in love with this McDonald's. Clean, quiet, all day there was very lovely relaxing music. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our order came perfectly and as we ordered.

I went and bought food for breakfast, first of all they were served cold, second 2 of my egg and sausage mcgriddles didnt have egg. Went back to get a new one because that is not what i ordered. The staff was apologetic about it. I came bavk to the car to my sister showing me her mcmuffin, it was half, looked like it had been cut inhalf and through i to the bag. Very mad as i am a paying customer.

Bought drive through happy meals for the kids. Asked the staff at ordering, at the pay station and at pick up station for fresh hot fries as I would be driving the food back home. All staff agreed saying that was ‘no problem’. It was a problem because the fries and other food arrived cold.

This place has got to be the worst McDonald's iv been to. I drive past daily to work for either day or night shift every time I decide to get something it's cold McDonald should seriously look at this franchise. I mean how hard is it really to make sure its HOT and fresh this is what thousands of other stores can do. I feel i get ripped off driving away. Just a tip to the owner stop sitting in ya pent house & make sure your store can serve HOT chips & fresh food not blaming staff as they would have been told to serve whats made. Not make fresh. Hope this msg saves someone els from getting ripped off.

I have a feeling the managers are just hiring deaf people at this point, why is it taking me 4-5 times of correcting your staff on what I’m trying to order because they don’t know how to simply listen. I’m not sure if it’s just all new staff at the moment but the past month or so have been absolutely trash on service don’t even bother going to this location unless you want your order made wrong every time you go through. Please start actually training your staff and not just expecting them to know what to do because none of them clearly have any idea everyone constantly seems so lost and clueless at this location it’s getting a little ridiculous.

I appreciate the overall condition and cleanliness of this McDonald's, and I've consistently received good service during my visits. The playground area is also excellent for my daughters, providing a fun environment for them to enjoy. I look forward to visiting again.

Staff literally have no manners and do not say a word even if you greet them and say thank you etc I understand that it’s not a 5 star restaurant so I wouldn’t expect outstanding service also the lid for my thick shake lid wasn’t on properly and spilled everywhere in my car?? Also wasn’t even blended properly 1/10

Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden, located off Tanawha Tourist Drive, spans 82 hectares of lush forested areas. It's a peaceful destination for walks, picnics, and exploration. The garden offers pram and wheelchair-friendly walks as well as traditional bushwalk trails. Visitors can enjoy the diverse plant species and various educational rainforest trails. The site features a sculpture trail, lagoon trail, cafe, restaurant, and a small selection of gifts.
We found this place in a visitors guide and thought we'd give it a go. So glad we did. The gardens are beautiful and so well laid out. There are 6 different walks you can do of varying difficulty. All sign posted and easy to navigate. The sculpture garden is a must. My 2 year old had a great time discovering them all. Really worth the trip out. Allow 2-3 hours or more to get a good walk in.

A beautif place to visit. With a cafe Monday to Friday for coffee's and cake. There are many walks available here from short 15 minute walks to 1 hour and 30 minute walks. Geat place to bring kids, teaching them about nature and the wonderful place we live in. Heaps of parking, alot of toilets, sitting areas and tables. Google this place address, follow the signs for "National Park", and discover a park filled with animals, tree's and quiet. Won't dissappoint!

Fabulous day out exploring natural bushland, well maintained walks, interesting sculptures, and beautiful open green spaces perfect for picnics and relaxing. Follow Maroochy Regional Gardens and keep up to date with the various events and activities held to make the most of your visit. My only disappointment is that the cafe doesn't make the most of visiting hours and always seems to be closed. So make sure you pack your own.

It’s really nice that such a large piece of nature has been kept in such a beautiful way. Congratulations to the keepers of this place as there wasn’t a single piece of litter anywhere, it’s kept pristine 👌🏻 Easy access for all, parking is easy too. Most of it is flat walks, unless signed otherwise. For those who can’t make the walk, here’s just some of the sculpture trail exhibits…

Glitter & Goop is a vibrant and inclusive creative hub that welcomes individuals of all ages and abilities. This fantastic space offers an array of engaging activities, including kids' workshops, after-school classes, candle making sessions, private events, and adult workshops. Recently, during the school holidays when families were looking for fun at-home activities due to lockdowns, Glitter & Goop provided tie-dye kits that were not only delivered promptly but also tailored to meet specific needs.
Had a lovely 11yr bday party here where the girls tie dyed shirts and totes. Lotsa fun.
Janke M — Google review
Last school holidays the kids needed an activity desperately due to lockdown. I saw Glitter and Goop tie dye at home packs advertised on local community boards and decided that was perfect for them. Even though I ordered really late in the arvo, and asked them to include additional products as I had two kids doing the activity, nothing was a problem. And they were hand delivered (in a covid safe way of course) to my door the next day! The kids loved making the tie dye bags, and there was extra dye leftover to make other items as well. Great activity, value for money, and wonderful customer service. Thank you so much Jade and Kerry.

Children attended two of the Christmas workshops. They made candles, soap, decorations, necklaces, bracelets. The children were kept entertained, and left with with a candycane, colouring and another activity to take home. Highly recommended.
Charlotte L — Google review
Did a tie dye workshop at Kawana Shoppingworld this morning and Kerry the lady running the workshop was very abrupt and rude and to my kids. Not a kid friendly activity at all.... IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS REPLY: Your response is certainly not an apology. There must be a culture issue within your company judging by your response. My children as children do accidently knocked over the bollard. I would be more than happy to provide video footage for you as the centre manager advised there was a camera nearby. I could also show you the video footage of my son crying after Kerry raised her voice to him and said 'That's not how you do it! Now you have made a mess everywhere. Obviously you weren't listening to me when I was giving instruction' it certainly was not great for his self esteem and confidence. I bought the shirts incase it was possible to dye them instead but by no means expected 'special treatment' as you imply. I just thought that as a company that provides workshops for kids that there may be some flexibility because we have attended other school holiday workshops that have. I have not accepted your apology and if anything think your response is highly unprofessional. I would expected a call at least to investigate and try understand the situation prior to posting this kind of response. Maybe this could be something you add to your complaints management process in the future.

Theme park
Top Shots Fun Park is a fantastic family amusement center located in the sunshine Coasts. It offers a wide range of activities including mini-golf, vertical trampoline, bumper boats, arcade games, indoor mountain climbing, tricky wall climbing, extreme trampoline and canon ball blaster battle dome. The park features two 18-hole mini golf courses and various arcade games with free entry for all ages. Additionally, there are food options available on-site or visitors can bring their own food.
Awesome fun on the putt putt... all the games and prizes inside are free if you workout how to get the chips out of the gambling machine... easy to work out just time your coin so it lands flat.
Total B — Google review
Wasn't expecting a lot, but it's pretty good and very relaxed. Essentially a mini golf place with 2 18 hole courses, with some arcade and coin games and a few rides. The best ride by far are the blaster boats... But there are also some slides and climbs. Entry is free which makes it easy for the whole family to come around but only the big kids to play. Food is your typical fried affair and drinks and ice creams... But they do allow you to bring your own food. Great for kids under 8 or 10, or for anyone who loves mini golf.
Michael S — Google review
Pretty sad state of affairs here, many of the arcade machines are broken, cost $2 a go and are very stingy in the payout. Was raining, so we gave the putt putt a miss but it looked similarly underwhelming. Blaster boats looked sorta cool, but again, too wet.
Benjamin N — Google review
Calling this place a rundown dump is an understatement. Don't waste your time or money on this disgusting refuge. All the games are overpriced and well out dated. As for the park facilities you'd have more fun hitting a wasp nest and hoping for the best. My kids thought it was more boring than watching nanna's vacation videos.
S K — Google review
The venue is starting to age a bit although there is definitely lots to entertain the kids. Did a mini golf course which wasn't too challenging but still a lot of fun.
Carissa J — Google review
Took my kids to a birthday party here recently and they had quite a good time. The highlight was the blaster boats but they also enjoyed the mini golf.
Kristy W — Google review
Up from Melbourne and cannot understand how this place functions if you are not a local school. Mini golf course is okay but because we were there on week day it was swamped with unsupervised school children who obviously thought they had full run of facility. Games are from earlier than me and dont expect staff to clean up "food" area as it just seems to sit on table. We walked out after 5min.

Sunshine Brewery has quickly gained popularity as a local favorite, offering a cozy atmosphere and a delicious selection of beers. The brewery is known for its friendly staff and has become the perfect spot to enjoy a cold one with friends. Visitors have raved about the well-brewed beers, with favorites including the deep, dark, and smoky Islay Tea and the double red IPA. The brewery's country vibe adds to its charm, making it a must-visit destination on the Sunny coast.
We chose Sunshine Brewery for its great variety of beer styles and family-friendly atmosphere, and it did not disappoint! The tasting trays were generously sized and came with detailed documentation about the flavors and hops used in the brewing process. The beers were true to style, and each one was a delight to try. It's a fantastic spot for both beer enthusiasts and families. Highly recommend Sunshine Brewery!

This place is amazing! The owners are so friendly, it’s unpretentious, and they have an epic play area so we can actually enjoy a drink while the kids play happily. Never get sick of coming here!

Dad and I love this place. We are (very) regulars!! Once you step inside the door, it has a country vibe about it. Bits and pieces everywhere that give it a sense of charm. Tasters given if you’re not sure about a beer. Owners and staff are just great.

Great beer! They have a real micro brewery vibe! Excellent options, clearly they have a great brewer! The only reason I didn't give 5 star is that there is no outdoor seating.

Over the last couple of days I’ve visited a great number of breweries here on the Sunny coast and this was by far one of my favourites! Delicious, well brewed beers with a great range of style choice. My favourite was the double red IPA! We were lucky enough to be there whilst they were serving up delicious chicken wings! Super friendly and very knowledgeable family owned brewery! I can’t recommend the highly enough!

Yeah nice little brewery! Friendly service. Love the guava sour. Update: answer to your comment: that is why i took two litres home for to enjoy at Byron Bay Bluesfest 😀

Live music bar
Solbar is a lively venue in Maroochydore that offers an exciting combination of live music, art exhibitions, and delicious pub food. It's the perfect spot for a night out, offering a main stage for live performances, a lounge bar with an impressive cocktail selection, and a menu featuring classic pub grub like pizza, schnitzel, and burgers. Whether you're into local bands or international touring acts, Solbar is known for its diverse lineup of performances that create an energetic atmosphere.
Excellent venue! Excellent food! Excellent cocktails! Excellent team! Went there twice in two nights (one for a concert, both for food and drink), when we normally avoid eating at the same place twice when travelling. True asset to the area! Only suggestion is to consider security offering water to people at the barrier for concerts, otherwise cannot fault the venue.
Ana K — Google review
Great venue for quality music, with good service and variety of drinks. The only downside is when it's over crowded, and the toilets definitely need some attention.
Jay F — Google review
Solbar recently hosted the inimitable and always massively entertaining Amigo The Devil, performing the first of his Aussie shows. Needless to say, bye-bye work and hello Sunny Coast! I was blessed to stay in Alex Headlands so was a mere 7kms from the venue. Solbar was easy to find, but parking was trickier. Plenty of roadside spaces but not a single one free. I found one around the corner, leaving me with a short walk back. The venue itself was cool; a nice ambience, tables filled with eager punters awaiting the show, beer flowing freely, and what may or may not have been an open-mic session providing entertainment up front. From there, when the time arrived, we headed through a door and into the rear stage area. A nice open space, with merch stand to the left and bar to the right. A selection of tables and chairs allowed seating as well. (A big shout-out to the hubby and wife I met there, eager for the show but even more excited about the pending birth of their child, due the previous day! I hope you're enjoying every special moment). The stage is low and accessible, and I actually finished the evening up on it, filming from above and chatting to Dave Talley, the support artist. This added a level of intimacy and community not found in bigger venues. Sound was good too, not too loud or muffled. Overall, I really enjoyed both Solbar and the concert. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly, and there wasn't an ounce of negativity or trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

AMAZING FOOD - GREAT PRICES I ordered the lamb salad and they were kind enough to substitute the lamb for chicken. So much variety and flavours in the salad. Very impressed. We sat outside as there were 6 of us but the stools were a bit uncomfortable to sit on, so not ideal for older people who need chairs with a back. So when booking, request chairs with backs if you need them. I do recommend booking if it’s the weekend as they were incredibly busy and it was the middle of winter. They have gluten free options available and our friends shared a gf chicken pizza and said it was delicious. If you’re outside, wait for table service as it can take a while to be served at the bar inside. The toilets were quite cramped, and there were only 2 of them. But clean enough. Good prices, quick service, fab food. Can’t go wrong. The chairs and toilets were the only let downs.
Tan J — Google review
We stopped here for a light meal before a gig in the excellent Solbar music venue (CW Stoneking - what an act). The chicken burger and pizza we had was delicious, well priced and the waiter made sure my annoying dietary needs were met. The food was fresh and I would eat there again for sure. Service etc was great and while it was a shitty rainy night the terrace was dry and a good place to catch up.

ive never tried the food here, but if it matches the service and the vibes then im sure it's pretty good. love coming here for comedy and live music, and all their other events

MUCH better music than the post office and others. Bit quiet, but the music makes up for it. The music is VERY loud and needs to be turned down slightly to match the other clubs, but it’s still definitely my preference out of the 4 main Ocean St club

American restaurant
Nestled along the vibrant Riverwalk, TGI Fridays Sunshine Plaza is a casual dining gem that radiates a festive atmosphere. This American bar and grill is renowned for its mouthwatering menu featuring everything from juicy steaks to tender, slow-cooked ribs slathered in your choice of sauce. The loaded potato skins and whisky-glazed chicken strips are must-tries that will leave you craving more.
The best meal my husband and I have had in the last few years. A last minute decision but one we do not regret. The Mozz Sticks & Legendary Pork Ribs were amazing to the point we ordered seconds of the ribs, the steak was insane and did not require any sauce or toppings and the garlic sauce on the fish was a thing of beauty - compliments to the chef! We topped it off with the Friday’s Malteser Turtle & Reece’s Buttercup Peanut Brownie Obsession and they were to die for. Cece & Will made our time there enjoyable and were just so lovely to interact with. 5+ stars for the evening!!
Tess F — Google review
Had high hopes for this establishment as people had said it's good. The food arrived promptly however, lacked any real flavour. The calamari was like chewing rubber, and the service was average, and the cutlery tubs were empty, apart from some knives. The cleanliness needs a lot of attention. It wasn't very busy. However, it was a Wednesday night. Not somewhere I would visit again, there are plenty of other, better places to eat. It is just another boring franchise food establishment. Just edit to reply to the owner, no thanks. Honestly, there's nothing you could offer me to come back. Simply didn't enjoy at all. Thanks for reaching out, though.

Everyone is so nice! This is my second time here and the service has been out standing! You must try the Kicking Lit! The drink is a bit spicy but amazing 😍 thanks again for the amazing service!

My second visit to TGI Fridays was a marked improvement from the first. The hot chips were crispy, and the ribs were perfectly cooked—flavorful and tender. The service was also excellent, with "Jonny" and “Will” being a standout host. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. His margaritas were fantastic, and he brought a great energy to the table. All in all, a great experience that definitely surpassed my expectations! The desserts was really great as well

My experience today for lunch was great, was told about the lunch specials and where to find them on the menu. Rhuuan was our waiter and he was a delight and a great asset to the team. Always love coming here any day of the week as there is always a special on and the food is always delicious, the signature sauce is that good I have my own bottle at home and great to give as a gift to a fellow foodie.

We tried the new “kicking LIIT” and it was phenomenal! The perfect amount of spice to give it a kick keeping us wanting more. I would definitely order again, flavour was delicious, presentation was immaculate and the spicy rim was the cherry on top. 10/10 from me! 🍉🌶️

Restaurant
Pizza Hut is a beloved chain that offers a delightful array of pizzas, wings, pasta, and an assortment of sides and desserts. Whether you're ordering for a cozy lunch or catering to the entire office with multiple pizzas, this establishment consistently delivers hot and well-prepared meals. Many patrons are willing to travel across town just to enjoy the exceptional service and customizable toppings at their local Pizza Hut branch.
I will drive from across the city to pick up pizza from THIS branch. The people are amazing- they make great pizzas, with great toppings, exactly as you customize them. I am in the catchment for Kawana waters and it is always terrible so I tried this one and will never go back. Definitely support this business! Great work

Ordered online and was "told" 15 my minutes. Got there with alleged 5 min to go but they hadn't even made it, ended up staying for 30 minutes waiting for our pizza's. Flavours were ok but definitely driving to Buderim pizza company moving forward, so much better, larger and flavours are phenomenal

This is our order, which includes a cookie pizza, and ‘cheesy’ garlic bread. As you can see, not a lot of effort goes into the presentation. We decided to branch out and try Pizza Hut, however we will be sticking to Dominos.

Ordered through uber eats called when we were missing our cheese sticks and the driver told us it was all he was given we watched him empty the bag. They handed us around in the phone l and then ended up telling us it’s the driver and hanging up. Not good enough even if it is the driver the way staff spoke to us as the consumers was not appropriate.

We have ordered a couple of times from Pizza Hut Maroochydore for lunch order. Sometimes, it might consist of two pizzas; sometimes, it might be 10 or 12 pizzas for the whole office. They have always got the order right. When it's delivered, it's always hot and not mashed about, like what can happen with other delivery services.
Ford T — Google review
For a "chicken" based pizza, not one single piece of meat was on the entire pizza. The other toppings were rather minimal as well. Garlic bread and lava cake were not cooked all the way through. This is the second time in a row with this store that it's happened (items undercooked). The quality and care is lacking. When there are similar priced pizza places close by, it makes you start to consider using them instead... Sorry, Pizza Hut.

Asian fusion restaurant
Nestled along the scenic Maroochy River, The Rickshaw Restaurant & Bar is a delightful new addition to the Sunshine Coast's vibrant culinary scene, known for its Asian fusion cuisine. This charming eatery offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by friendly and knowledgeable staff who are eager to assist with menu choices and drink pairings.
Being greeted with a big smile from Mick was the start of an awesome dining experience. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful when it came to menu suggestions and drink pairings. Set on the water the tasteful decor set the tone for what was to come. Fresh, full flavours, every dish was a delight. I highly recommend the duck spring rolls. The cocktails were delicious and well balanced. So great to see new restaurants popping up on the Coast of this calibre. Well done team!

The Rickshaw is a unique addition to dining on the sunshine coast. A warm welcoming place with friendly, knowledgeable staff. We arrived at the start of lunch service to a empty place, however within minted the place was bustling, and it was easy to see why. Their Asian inspired dishes were presented well, full of colour and flavour and tasted great. Two share plates and chips were enough for us to leave full. This quaint little spot could easily go unnoticed particularly with the development underway at the Emporio Complex, however it should not be missed. Will definitely be back again.
Dalton S — Google review
Service was amazing and although it’s in an unusual location the atmosphere seated outside was good. The Barramundi fish curry was exceptional. Chinese 5 spice chicken was lacking a bit in flavour and was a bit dry. Peking duck spring rolls were nice. The Moreton bay bugs really let the whole experience down. As well as being a little underwhelming in size they didn’t taste fresh at all and smelt like a late night trip to the toilet was on the cards. Gave the staff feedback on it which they said they would pass on to the kitchen. After looking at previous reviews i see this isn’t a new thing and they need to source a new supplier. Cocktails were amazing but along with the beer and wine were overpriced. $300 for 2 people is a bit of a stretch. Unfortunately won’t be returning.
Brenden M — Google review
Emailed the restaurant feedback and they never acknowledged it. Unfortunately our experience was not good, in fact we were quite Ill after the meal and believe it was from the bugs, which we mentioned in our feedback to the restaurant who ghosted us!!. Duck spring rolls, no duck, squid small and thrown together, buggs served on a plate that looks like something was missing and bland and unfresh (certain it was these that made us I'll). Okominyaki fries were cold and soggy and oversauced. We ordered other things that aren't worth my time and energy mentioning because nothing was outstanding and overall our whole experience was dissapointing. Service was good and cocktails presented nice but with so many amazing AUTHENTIC Asian restaurants on offer on the coast we wont be back. This was not good food and the arrogance of them of not acknowledging our poor experience reflects why we will never give them another chance.
Caitlin C — Google review
We first attended during the opening week. We were pleasantly surprised on our return to find the food was even better and the prices slightly lower than the first visit. We had the spring rolls, popcorn chicken and the green Curry chicken which was beautifully presented. We had an attentive waitress and a lovely time.

My 3 favourite things about Culture, in reverse order: 3: Lovely lake views; 2. Great coffee and food at reasonable prices; 1. Outstanding and friendly staff who remember how you like your coffee. Also love that you can get a cheeky Friday afternoon cocktail to wind down the working week ;) Highly recommended Thanks Culture Team.
Aaron H — Google review
So disappointed. This restaurant has the opportunity to do something amazing but they aren’t. The food was ok nothing special. But it was the amount of flies during our lunch that was really unacceptable - we spent our whole lunch shooing them away (we sat inside). Dishes weren’t taken away quick enough. Had to call a waitress to get a drink so service under par. Come on guys - you can do better especially with the competition there is on the coast. At this stage won’t go back :(

Junk Maroochydore, a well-established restaurant on Ocean Street, is undergoing a significant transformation with a $600,000 refurbishment. The revamp will introduce a vibrant new look featuring an expansive cocktail bar, catering to pre- and post-dinner drinks. This popular dining spot has been serving up an eclectic mix of Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Chinese street-style cuisine for the past decade.
We dined at Junk tonight and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, with a modern interior that added to the overall ambiance. The staff went above and beyond in their service, offering thoughtful recommendations on the dishes to try and ensuring we felt comfortable and not rushed at all throughout our meal. One standout dish was the beef massaman curry – we were absolutely thrilled with it. The beef was incredibly tender, practically melting in your mouth with each bite, and the rich flavors of the curry were simply delightful. It’s definitely a dish I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a culinary treat. Overall, our evening was a success, and I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu!

Amazing feed! The flavours were phenomenal. The sauce with the wagyu dumplings needs to be bottled and sold as I would put it on everything. Chicken Katsu Bao and highway spuds were definitely some favourites My only critic is that I felt that the pork dumplings needed a dipping sauce provided - you could use sauces from the other dishes but not helpful if they all arrive at different times.
Mich A — Google review
The BEST food I’ve had in ages! We definitely ordered too much for the two of us but no complaints here as we got to take some home. Could not fault a single dish. Our favourites were the beef Massaman and the Roti but we’d honestly order everything again and again! If I could rate it more stars I would, can’t wait to come back.

There are so many delicious options on the menu and the new menu items are amazing. The Roast Pumpkin Yellow Curry and the Beef Massaman curry are generous sizes and both come with rice. Recommend the Chicoen Katsu Salad for a lunch option. We can’t wait to come back 🤩

There’s a good vibe. The menu is fun and the food delicious- super flavourful with all the garnishes. The tables are a little small for the sharing that’s encouraged (everyone seemed to have more dishes than places to put them). Don’t be put off though- order up and enjoy!

We were so glad we selected this establishment to dine on a Tuesday night. The food was innovative - from the stuffed jalapeño peppers for tapas to the chocolate ravioli for dessert. We like something different. My gnocchi with prawns were little pillows of delight, although I would have liked more of them for $36. The fiano white wine was a great accompliament. Our service was particularly attentive without being intrusive. Sydney could do with a few more Local Flow type eateries!

As a retired chef myself it's a rare treat to have food out better than at home and I was so grateful for the unexpected experience. Keep up the hard work of this excellent gem of an eatery. High high appraisals.

I so rarely post reviews but this place was just exceptional. The food was impressive but the service was just top notch. So rarely these days do staff in restaurants make good food a great experience but these guys made our evening. Great selection of local, Italian and French wines. Totally recommend if your in Maroochydore. I’ll be back! Thanks so much.

Went here for some drinks and a bite to eat and had such a lovely experience. Our server, Charlotte, was amazing—she truly made our visit even more enjoyable! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Cafe
The Silva Spoon, situated on King Street in Cotton Tree, is a charming cafe that offers an array of delectable cakes and treats to complement their delightful selection of teas and coffee. Tucked away from the bustling coffee shop strip, this cozy spot boasts a lovely decor adorned with various teapots and offers take-home packs of tea and coffee.
It’s been so many years since we have been to The Silva Spoon Tea and Coffee Emporium due to an interstate move. What I can say is it is absolutely just as delicious and beautiful as it always was, we totally enjoyed everything we had and the service was great also. We had the Granola Bowl and it was next level great. We also had the Smashed Avo on toast without the feta and this was also absolutely delicious. The coffees were amazing as well. I highly recommend this beautiful cafe.

Great spot. The sausage roll is delicious! The African rooibos orange latte was divine, a little sweet, almost as good as a dessert. Interior decorating is really nice and has a calm feeling to it.

Easily no questions asked the best tea shop in the Sunny Coast. Such a massive range of teas and an even better menu of cakes and desserts to accommodate the drinks. If you love what you had you can even buy the flavours from them. Which is what I ended up doing. I'm now a Vanilla Crème tea enjoyed.

What a delightful morning at The Silva Spoon! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the warm, cozy atmosphere filled with beautiful decor and charming details. The tea selection is incredible, and the teapot was served so elegantly with a lovely cup that made the experience extra special. The cake was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, paired perfectly with our drinks. Highly recommended—we will absolutely be back!

The Silva Spoon is a must-visit when you’re in Maroochydore! They serve fantastic coffee and absolutely delicious cakes — the Biscoff cheesecake is to die for! The atmosphere is charming, and their beautiful collection of tea sets (available for purchase) adds a lovely touch. As an award-winning tea house, it truly lives up to the hype. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality treats and a cozy vibe.

DISAPPOINTED! High tea is usually classy, this experience was not. Our 2 tables were different heights, our tablecloth was paper, the table beside us having high tea had a beautiful setting on a tablecloth and comfortable chairs, our metal chairs were not comfortable. Our server said she was there to look after us during the high tea, once we were served our food and drinks we never saw her again even though she said just call me when you need a refill or anything else. When asked where she was, I was told she’s on her break. So that means she tells the customers someone else will be looking after you now. No one came near us to make sure it was all ok or if we wanted the bottomless tea or coffee refilled. The food was mismashed, presentation needs work, a few flowers on food and plates doesn’t mean it’s high tea. Definitely not a good experience or worth the $60,00 per person.

Only been here for high tea, and today was a reminder I should come in more often! Really great value High tea, fabulous cakes and treats all baked by their in house baker who is fantastic. Great selection of delicious teas and even took some home with me. So much food I couldn't finish it and also took the rest home! Highly recommend. I'm vegetarian and the veggie high tea did not disappoint.

It was really good but the granola bowl was served with a bad banana everything else was delicious like the green eggs and lemon pie

Japanese restaurant
Ginger Japanese Restaurant in Maroochydore has quickly become a top choice for Japanese cuisine on the Sunshine Coast. Their extensive menu features a wide range of sushi, sashimi, and traditional Japanese curries. On Tuesdays, they offer a special $5 dumpling deal. Customers have praised their flavorful dishes such as JT curry, bao buns, and X-large sushi rolls.
We recently dined at this Japanese restaurant for the first time, and it was a good experience. The scallops we had as an entrée were tender, practically melting in our mouths. We also tried the Teriyaki Salmon, which was also very good - very generous portion. The menu offers a good variety of dishes and drinks, making it a perfect spot for casual dining.

Beautiful dinner with the family, small wait on food when busy but worth it for a beautiful meal! Everything was made with love and care. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful food. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, not too hectic and loud! The staff are so helpful and friendly. All of the dishes we tried were outstanding.

The dish is with big volume. I love soft shell crab. But when it’s fried as a whole it is a bit scary. And the sushi rolls is a little bit expensive. It was 17.5 for the prawn roll. Taste good tho with great wasabi. I live the green tea and chocolate tower. It’s huge. Good restaurant overall.

Food was so good we dined here twice during our three night stay! Favourite dishes soft shell crab buns, sweet potato tempura and wagu teriyaki.

This place was a suggestion from a friend and it didn’t disappoint! We had the banquet menu and it was great value, a feast for the eyes, well paced, service was quick and meals? - delicious! The restaurant is compact and can be loud but was still a great night and fantastic meal. Will definitely return and recommend 👍🙏

This place is brilliant. The food is very tasty, the service was great as well. And $2 ph corkage for BYO wine. The staffer was the cook and the waiter! It was a quiet Sunday lunch though. Will be back.

My friends and I went here the other day for dinner, we absolutely love it. We ordered takoyaki, cheesy okonomiyaki, green tea chocolate mountain, and one hot cake with green tea ice cream and banana. The total cost were $47, and us three was so full. Takoyaki came as six octopus balls, served with mayo and teriyaki sauce I believe. The octopus pieces was the biggest I have ever been eating in the Coast. Cheesy okonomiyaki was literally as cheesy as it sounds 🤣 and it was huge. And if you are sweet dessert lover, must come here. The two desserts we ordered was so much bigger than we expected, three people couldn’t finish two desserts. I don’t think I need to describe anything else, just look at the photos and you will understand 😉. Was a bit of the wait for the food but staffs are lovely and customer services were excellent. Great view for an ideal date by the way🥰! 11/10
