I love traveling, but I think this was the most beautiful sea I’ve seen so far. It was so transparent, clean, and blue—and not too deep, so everyone could enjoy it. I don’t know how to swim, but it was perfect just to dip my feet in. The sand was sooo soft, you wouldn’t even want to wear shoes.

Surfers has such a good vibe! The beach is huge, clean, and perfect for a swim or just chilling on the sand. There’s always something going on — street performers, sunset markets, people out and about. Great mix of beach life and city energy. Whether you're into early morning walks or grabbing food by the ocean, Surfers never disappoints.

Definitely a worth it experience. It's basically a walk through experience with different rooms and effects. Very trippy and it was also extremely dark pretty much the whole way through. It could also get very loud at times. Some rooms event felt scary and my friends were screaming heaps through them 😂. Overall I thinks it's worth it. Maybe don't go in with smaller one day tho as they could get scared. It's $30 for adults. Overall o recommend 👍👍

Not Suitable for Young Kids – Misleading, Overpriced, and Poorly Managed Our visit to Infinity Attraction on the Gold Coast was an extremely upsetting experience. Despite fun-looking advertising and a recommended minimum age of 8, this attraction is completely inappropriate for young children. Even for older kids, the first half is dark, disorienting, and frightening — nothing like the bright, fun images promoted. Our young sons were deeply distressed early on, and with no clear way out (the attraction is one-way only), we were stuck. We called the front desk from inside, desperate for help, and were simply told we were “about halfway through” and to “just go quickly.” That’s not support — it’s dismissal. Staff knew we were distressed — they were watching on security footage and even commented that kids had to walk on their own and couldn’t be carried. I put my son down, but picked him up again because he was in a state of panic. No one has the right to tell a parent not to comfort their child during a situation like that. When we finally made it out, we got a token “How was that?” — Why none of the three staff members sitting at the front desk could come in with a torch or guide us out is beyond me. Whatever enjoyable or “fun” elements there may be are far outweighed by the disturbing, high-anxiety parts — especially for children. There is no proper warning about how intense it is, no exit once you’re in, and no real support if things go wrong. This attraction is not family-friendly, not honest in its marketing, and not equipped to safely handle distressed guests. Would not recommend — especially not for families.

It's ok... But certainly not worth $93 for a family of 4. We walked through not fast and was only in there for about 15mins. Like don't get me wrong, it's cool in some parts... But definitely not worth the hype and definitely not worth the price. Got to the end and we all said "is that it?"

A great way to deal with stress, a heartbreak, a midlife crisis, or any tragedy imaginable! It was always a great distraction from the pain I felt that I'd escape by going into their Escape Room, and I can't wait to take my 4 lovely daughters here so they can experience this high tech experience themselves! Emily is a great, smiley staff member there and she is a Kiwi Margot Robbie that's pleasant to all customers! This place is more than worth the admission cost! Margot Robbie would be proud!

My 11 yr old had his bday party here with his friends and he enjoyed

I came a few months ago, and the service was not good. Two staff were on, and when not engaging with customers, were talking about negative things in their personal life and swearing, in front of customers, including children. The staff member helping the customers in queue was quite nice though, but the other staff member was incredibly rude, and mocked me when I almost forgot my bag. The price was also quite a lot for a 15 minute slow walk. I am NOT making this review to get the staff in to trouble, but rather in hopes the workplace and service improves! Other than that, the experience itself was great! My emotions flipped from amazed, to scared, to critical thinking, etc. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and although it hasn’t changed much, it still amazes me now! The experience is very interactive and engaging.

Visited when I was child and absolutely loved the experience! I made my parents take me back through immediately after we were finished. Tried to visit today to re-live those awesome memories and see if anything has changed, I’ve always been a huge fan of sensory experiences like this and have visited many by myself as an adult, was basically told by the girl at the counter not to bother because I was by myself and it’s “scary”…. Uh well okay, that took me back a little and I just ended up leaving.

Our recent family excursion to Sky Point provided an exceptional experience. The panoramic vistas from the 77th floor were truly awe-inspiring, and we were pleased to discover that the coffee and food prices were surprisingly reasonable. Contrary to our initial expectations, the cost was comparable to that of a standard restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise. The breathtaking scenery, coupled with the rapid elevator service, contributed to a memorable and gratifying experience. We anticipate revisiting Sky Point on our next trip.

SkyPoint was absolutely worth visiting! The 360° views of the coastline, city, and hinterland are stunning — especially around sunset. It’s such a great spot to take photos and really appreciate how beautiful the Gold Coast is. There’s also a nice café and bar at the top, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the view a bit longer. The staff were friendly, and the elevator ride up was super fast. Highly recommend adding this to your Gold Coast itinerary!

The timing of your visit makes a big difference, as the crowds tend to build up in the late afternoon leading into sunset. When we arrived at around 4:30pm on a weekday, it was already quite busy, with plenty of visitors waiting for the sun to dip below the horizon and capture that perfect photo. 📷 One thing worth noting is that seating can be a bit of a challenge. The seats near the windows are in high demand, as everyone wants the best vantage point for both the views and the experience. It works on a first come, first served basis, so if you want a prime spot, it’s best to arrive earlier than you think you need to. Many people settle in with drinks and snacks and simply enjoy the atmosphere while waiting for the main event — the sunset. 🌇 Despite the crowds, the overall vibe was enjoyable. The bar staff were reliable, friendly, and handled the rush smoothly, which made the experience more relaxed. We also tried the SkyPoint signature cocktail, which is highly recommended if you’re visiting. 🍹 The combination of stunning views, refreshing drinks, and a lively yet comfortable setting made our visit memorable

Our experience at the SkyPoint Observation Deck was truly wonderful, even though our visit took an unexpected turn. Just five minutes into our meal, we faced a sudden family emergency that left us distressed and unsure of what to do. Nicole was absolutely incredible. Her calm, caring, and attentive support made all the difference during a very frightening moment. She went above and beyond to help us, ensuring we had everything we needed and offering comfort when we needed it most. Despite the circumstances, we are deeply grateful for the kindness shown to us. The service, the atmosphere, and especially Nicole’s compassion made a difficult situation a little easier to navigate. We were time bound and this is the best way to see the whole coast line. Great way to spend some time and they have a very large cafe with lots of options to sit and enjoy your time. Also parking is free which is a bonus. Loved it 🥂

Fantastic experience. We did the main museum and the mirror maze. Everyone in our group (from age 3 to mid 50s) had a great time, there was something for everyone. Loved the interactive parts, like making the tallest man stand up and walking through a tunnel that made you dizzy. The mirror maze was the best I've ever seen, we will definitely be back next time we visit the Gold Coast.

My daughter and I visited today! The staff were amazingly helpful and explained the attractions what was included! We did all 3!! Thoroughly enjoyed the museum and had an absolute ball in the mirror maze laughing at my daughter trying to figure out which was the real me 🤣

Very old and dated most figures don't resemble the real characters and very much no where as good as other wax museums I've been to. The horror chamber again forced to do as a large tour group and stuck listening to a tour guide giving a lot of inaccurate information. Definitely save your money give this a miss.

Very friendly helpful staff, Enjoyed walking through at own pace . Bit out dated, would be nice to see more pop stars. Enjoyed the history of it all though. Especially enjoyed the tour and hearing all about the old days with punishment etc . My daughter also very enjoyed the shared knowledge she even saw a wax figure she had learnt and studied about at school.

It was a good place to visit. Most of the wax models looked like the real person. All the wax models are behind glass. The torture room tour was very interesting and the tour guide was very knowledgeable.

We had a great time there and the staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue was that probably the venue needs a bit of renovations other than that highly recommended especially to families with children and adolescents.

Really enjoyed coming here. Staff were super friendly, the upstairs was cool seeing all the different celebrities and figures. Some look better than other but to be expected. There was also some cool replicas of crowns and jewels. The chamber of horror was really cool. Its a guided tour and the guy running it knows lots of historical facts etc which was really interesting to learn about. It was definitely a cool experience and 100% worth a visit rain or shine

Great experience, good options to suit different use cases and budgets. We went with 180 min pass for my son (11). This also allowed us to do Air hockey together (is yellow & unlimited for duration) and both could do mini golf (just tapped twice). in the 3 hours, he got in 50 games & the mini golf (in hindsight, I guess we could have done mini golf last to extend the overall time). That said, 3 hours was plenty & for $65 at $1.30 per game I thought was great value. We were not rushing, but going steadily. Also collected 660 points in this time (enough to get a few smaller chocolates/lollies). we were there from around 12 pm - 3pm and was steady but not crowded, that said it was building up at 3pm and was getting a bit harder to do some games. Overall represented a fun afternoon & given we could both do some aspects for $65 for 3 hours essentially for 2 people was good value for us. One improvement would be to mark in the website that “featured games” are blue card readers. Also it seems mini bowling is actually a Feature Game, not a Major Attraction despite being listed under Major Attraction (i.e. this was better than the site indicated).

Best Timezone and best arcade I've been to anywhere in the world. Lots of variety and good value. I got the $65 timed play pass and enjoyed 3 hours on lots of games, rides, and attractions. I suggest skipping the bowling, putt putt, and go karts if you're an adult as they are kids sized. But for timed play you get unlimited rides on the orange 2D motion sim which is lots of fun! 3D and 4D motion rides however are limited to 2 rides and were excellent. If you're with friends the $80 top up is better as you also get a free plush toy during August and can share the card. Note most interactive games are red category, you'll earn tickets when you play. The prize shop is also the best I've ever seen. Very reasonably priced and everyone can walk away with something. Mostly for kids though. If you register an account on the app TWO days before, then buy a card in-store, you'll get a bonus $10 in 2025. Minimum reload is $35 using the app. Or top up the physical card in-store with cash. Link the physical card to the app so you can tap-to-play with your phone so you don't need the card

First time experience in time zone, went with my two young stepsons. 6&9. Expected to cost me a fortune. Ironically put $100 down on a card for $160 in credit. Surprisingly when we left I checked the timezone card and I still had almost $100 left in credit. They played on numerous games, drove the dodgem cars etc for an hour and a half and had a thoroughly good time, as I did watching their excitement. I great time had by all. I would definitely suggest an exciting couple of hours to spend time spoiling the kids for being really well behaved.

Always good fun! They add new machines and games all the time. Can be really busy during peak times but there are plenty of games to play. Overstimulation central with loud noises, people and lights. No trip to surfers is complete without a couple hours here though. Air-conditioned and out of the sun, good bathrooms.

The biggest timezone I have been to. It's huge, has laser tag, glow putt putt, bumper cars and more. Lots of food and drink options children didn't want to leave.

The new layout surrounding the rhythm games is abysmal, and I have to wonder how the managers decided it was a good idea. They moved maimai, a game with a consistently large line, to a small area with barely any seating area that was directly in a popular walkway to a Cavill Ave entrance. In contrast to the previous layout, which had ample seating and large open areas to ensure that the large amount of players wouldn't get in the way of the general public. This is terrible for both the regulars who play and normal visitors.

They sell everything from clothes, shoes, candles, handmade arts and crafts, handmade souvenirs and much more. There’s always live entertainment going on and it’s a dog friendly market. The location couldn’t be better being that it backs directly onto the beach. It’s a very popular market so it gets very crowded. The market is always full of life and very vibrant. There’s a few food trucks around so you can grab something to eat or drink while you’re looking at the stalls. Or you can go to one of the many restaurants close by. The Markets are held every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 4.00pm until 9.00pm. They have been running since 1995. I always enjoy coming back to these markets and would definitely recommend. We unintentionally found ourselves strolling along the street path after dinner before heading back to the hotel, and it turned out to be such a lovely surprise. The Surfers Paradise night markets are a really enjoyable shopping experience. Loads of knick knacks as unique souvenirs, hair and henna experiences, or stuff yourself with fresh passionfruit. It's a well lit market offering a good family atmosphere. Situated down Cavill Mall directly along the beach promenade.

The crowdedness here at night is almost as much as that at the local night markets in Taiwan. In comparison, the stands here are mostly non-perishable items but more street foods in Taiwan. In addition, the stands here are covered by canopies, more decorated, and looking new. Taiwanese stands look more traditional and mostly use colourful signboard light boxes to indicate what they’re selling.

My 14 and 16 year old kids were sceptical at first, but absolutely loved the sunset climb. It was beautiful. And Emily was an excellent guide - so enthusiastic and lovely. Highly recommend.

My partner and I did the SkyPoint Climb this morning and were lucky to get a private tour with our instructor, Jessie. He was super friendly and made us feel safe the whole time. The views were amazing, and the whole experience was way better than we expected. It felt personal, relaxed, and honestly just unforgettable. The SkyPoint Climb was an amazing experience, the views are absolutely stunning and the staff were super friendly! However, I think a few things could be improved. I didn’t receive much information beforehand and the website was a bit unclear about arrival times and what to expect. The photo pricing also felt quite high compared to other experiences like the Harbour Bridge and Adelaide Oval climbs, where we received more photos for a lower cost. The digital photo package is $60, which seems very steep for only two photo stops along the way with average quality not print quality. Overall, it’s a great experience with incredible views, but clearer communication and fairer photo pricing would make it even better.

The view from the top was breathtaking — you can see the entire Gold Coast, ocean, and city all in one panoramic scene. The guides were super friendly, made us feel safe the whole time, and kept the experience fun and exciting. It’s definitely a must-try if you visit the Gold Coast — thrilling but not too scary, and totally worth it! Views so good! Even my knees stopped shaking! Highly recommended!

Did this climb today and was not disappointed. We had Erin as our guide and she was great, very nice and friendly. The view was breath taking, and the overall experience was great. Fairly priced and you also get a return ticket to the exhibition platform for use on the same day after the climb.

HOTA Museum is colorful and impressive from the outside, a perfect blend of art and nature. Just walking around the grounds already lifts your spirits. I was really looking forward to visiting, but unfortunately Gallery 2 was closed this time — I hope to see it on my next visit. The poster art exhibition was vibrant and beautifully captured the spirit of its era. And the view from the top floor was absolutely stunning! You can enjoy a panoramic view of the Gold Coast city and ocean — definitely worth a visit.

HOTA is more than just arts, it is located in landscaped surroundings and has three restaurants. There is a sculpture walk around the lake and a map can be downloaded from the website. There is plenty of parking and the first 4 hours are free. So whether you are into the arts or not there is something for everyone.

Attended the school eisteddfod. First time to this location. Well laid out, wheelchair friendly. There is open air metred parking. There is a bistro canteen type restaurant as well as a snack kiosk. Ample seating area both inside and outside seating areas. There is also a bar inside the venue for thirsty visitors like me. Overall, a great experience.

It’s a spacious and nice place for families to spend time together. However, I think the exhibition could be improved. Many galleries were closed in preparation for the next exhibition, and overall, I still felt it was quite a small art center.

A great place to visit and get involved. A month ago a visted to see a floating art instalation. And last week I came to a Greek Concert and food experience. I have not visyed the theatre and gallery yet They have a nice coffee shop next to the theatre.

My friends and I saw Lord of the Rings - The Musical here and it was an excellent theatre experience. Even though I love in Brisbane, I'll be keeping an eye on future performances at HOTA

Lovely museum and free to enter! The artwork was wonderful to see, and the viewing deck at the top offers amazing views. Staff were lovely too. The only downside was that I wished there was more artwork to explore!

Our tour guide, Kelly, demonstrated excellent driving and bilingual skills, along with a knack for guiding us through the day. Pilot Dean and crew member Wayne were also outstanding, providing perfect navigation and even seemingly controlling the weather for us. ​Everything came together for a perfect morning: the weather was ideal, the breakfast champagne buffet with wine tasting was great, and the alpaca encounter was a wonderful experience. Most importantly, the trip felt completely safe. The tour operator's clear instructions at every stage of our journey made the entire trip seamless. ​I highly recommend this tour to anyone, and I especially suggest adding the breakfast and alpaca experiences at Oreillys for a truly memorable morning.

Went hot air ballooning with my parents for my dad's 60th birthday. It was such a fabulous experience - from the transport to the hot air balloon ride itself, the breakfast, alpaca farm and wine tasting (not to mention photos!) the whole experience was so well curated and planned out for us. We did this for our anniversary, we had an amazing time. Loved the flight, the champagne breakfast and the alpaca experience. We would definitely recommend! Selena, Dahwal and Kevin were a great team. The communication prior was excellent, especially as we were concerned about the weather.

This is one of the best experiences I have ever had. This time I self-drove from Brisbane to the meeting point and I was able to meet up with the staff on time. The staff was so kind to help my journey. The balloon was amazing! I had a wonderful time. Love the flight I would definitely recommend!

One of the best experiences we have ever had. The booking was easy and simple, the planning of transport was included in our ticket as we got picked up from our hotel on the Gold Coast, the Balloon was amazing, the view was stunning and we got photos included in our package. Once the balloon was over, we all helped to fold the balloon up, they are actually massive! We then all headed to the nicest winery for a buffet breakfast and champagne, it was gorgeous. All the staff were amazing and knowledgeable, they were fun and we just had the best time!

We had a really good time at Sea World! The park is clean, well maintained, and easy to get around. The seal and dolphin shows were definitely the highlight entertaining, informative, and beautifully done. It was lovely to see how well the animals are cared for. The only downside was the food options there were very limited vegan and vegetarian choices, which made it a bit tricky to find something suitable for lunch. Hopefully, they can expand their plant-based menu in the future. Overall, a great experience for families and anyone who enjoys marine life and fun shows!

Spent the day at SeaWorld recently, and enjoyed it. Liked all the shows, especially the dolphin one! Was grateful that they had a proper sit-down restaurant that served health food. My husband and I both had the bowl each. which was as delicious as it was nutritious 😋 We were disappointed with the water ski show though. Gone were the impressive multi-acrobatic moves. All we saw this time was a show between two rival gangs and some boring stunts. We also did the helicopter ride. The 10 minute deal is the best in my opinion. The pilot was very informative; he doubled up as the tour guide Overall SeaWorld was a great experience 😃

Had the best time at Sea World! Every ride was so much fun and well worth the wait. Loved the dolphin shows they were amazing! The place was clean, well-organized, and perfect for all ages. Truly one of the best theme parks I’ve been to. Highly recommend visiting if you’re on the Gold Coast!

Sea World is truly one of our favourite family destinations on the Gold Coast! We had an unforgettable day filled with fun, learning, and amazing marine life encounters. The dolphin and seal presentations were absolutely incredible, such talented animals and dedicated trainers! The park is beautifully maintained, clean, and easy to get around. There’s a great mix of attractions for both kids and adults — from the exciting rides to the relaxing lagoon areas. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone felt welcome and safe. It’s the perfect place to create lasting memories with the family. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Love it there. So many things to try although some places are not open. Like Atlantis ride and Donatello ride. I have to say, baby Penguins are the cutest around haha. When you get to lunch watch out for Seagulls. Yes!.. theyll snatch your food in a instant There are sharks too, they did a wonderful job in conservation as well. Hate to say it but I got on Bikini bottom rides - Patrick the starfish, School bus because to me that is the safest ride. Have a peak at your theme park pass app they will tell you exactly the time for each performance. It does make you trip there memorable.

Sea World on the Gold Coast is a fantastic destination for families with kids. It’s incredibly family-friendly, and there’s something fun for everyone. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the whole park feels safe and well-managed. The dolphin show and stunt performances were absolutely unforgettable – both entertaining and impressive! Every attraction we tried was fun and engaging, from the animal exhibits to the rides. Overall, it’s a great place to spend the day with your family. Highly recommended!

We went to 3 parks across 3 days. Movie World, Wet n Wild and then Sea World. 2 Adults, a 7 year old and 2.5 year old. We loved them all, but Sea World was the most enjoyable for all of us. There was much more for our 2.5 year old to be involved in. A few rides you can go on as a family. And also we could enjoy all the shows together. Definitely do not miss out on the dolphin, seal and water stunt shows. They are world class.

Such a fun shopping centre. Very pretty and has lots of shops to explore. There is a good variety of shops inside and the food court has great food. The atmosphere is great and the security is always walking around making sure everyone is safe. There is a valet parking with cool cars.

What an amazing shopping centre on the Gold Coast. Everything and more for all ages. A food court to suit all tastes. Wish the UK had the vision to create this in all cities. If you haven't already visited then do so.

The most visually striking and spectacular shopping centre I've seen in Australia. Plus, plenty of shops and dining options, the best in GC.

Amazing architecture. You wouldn't believe it's a mall. It was like a resort style. A massive mall with heaps of high-ends luxury stores. When you get tired you can just sit or lay on the sun bed and relax. A lovely place to visit, look around and shop.

Everything you could want from cafes and restaurants to high end designer clothing, handbags, shoes, watches and more Theatre and even a great gym

Heaps of stuff here. If you’re looking for something it’s almost guaranteed to be here. The mall is quite large so bring some comfy shoes. A bit of something for everyone. Some high end, middle and low end price stores here. Brands galore, heaps of friendly workers and some cool water features. Plenty of places to eat as well.

Pacific Fair – The Gold Coast’s Olympics of Shopping Pacific Fair is basically a glamorous maze designed to separate me from my money — and honestly, I’m not even mad about it. The place is HUGE. You go in for “one quick thing” and suddenly it’s three hours later, you’ve made emotional connections with five shop assistants, and you’re carrying bags like you’re in a rom-com montage. The vibes? Immaculate. The layout? Gorgeous. The shops? Dangerous. There’s literally something for everyone — from boujee stores that make you question your bank balance to snack stops that keep you going like you’re on a shopping marathon. Whether you’re browsing, splurging, or just pretending you’re rich for the afternoon, Pac Fair delivers. 10/10 would get lost in here again.

Shopping at the Circle on Cavill was a huge blessing. Dining out with such exotic foods, shopping in various stores looking for bargains, people everywhere doing their business, beaches, and reasonable prices at Surfers. Needed more time to enjoy. With our accommodation at the South Tower, it was a dream 😍

Plenty to see and do and a positive experience throughout. A must visit when you're in Surfers 😁

Location was ok. Didn’t actually twig to the fact I was booking through WOW. Was not an easy process as it was all online. Issues with photo ID and the required selfie not marrying up, phones not answered etc. first night balcony covered in poo. Second night even worse. Third night not as bad but chewing gum etc from above floors along with other crap and more poo made it unusable for the entire three nights accommodation.

Love love love Suffers Paradice great Vibes , people everywhere shops to enjoy loads of fun places to visit , of course you need money 💰, there hotels galore to choose from, best go on line to catch all the deals , My daughter and I stayed at great place heated swimming pool spa , a great veiw of the heart of it all with the ocean a few steps away , across from us . Wonderful photos of the sunrise , you wouldn't even know it's a Sunday has vibes like a Saturday till 10 pm , most shops too . Go check it out , Enjoy 😉

Great location, amazing views. Parking is a bit hectic and confusing, apartments could be cleaner. Knowing what I know, probably wouldn't come here in summer, I cannot get the temperature right. But overall a good experience.

We took the 10:30 am cruise on 1st August 2025, with Surfers Paradise River Cruises. It was an amazing Cruise with some of the most beautiful views of the surfers paradise. Captain Jason and the tallish lady with short hair who managed everything (sorry, can't remember the name) were amazing. Everything from check in to boarding and the entire cruise was very well organised. This Cruise offers a double deck boat, with plenty of comfortable padded seating areas. The 90 minute cruise had a relaxed, very enjoyable pace. It wasn't rushed. Fruit cake, Lamington, scotch finger biscuits, tea & coffee etc were also provided. They operate four cruises daily, which is very handy for visitors. Highly recommended.

Great experience. I chose this cruise as travelling with my mum and wanted something not too crazy and that didn’t involve walking! It was perfect, 10 minute stroll to the boat from our hotel on the esplanade, easy check in at kiosk then boarded 15 minutes before we headed off on a leisurely tour of the waterways. Tea/coffee/chocolate and cakes/biscuits were included and just right for our morning snack. They also have some other items to purchase and a cocktail menu if you’re in a more lively mood. The captain Pete gave a very informative and entertaining run down of the houses and areas we were passing which added a bit of fun and It helped me get my bearings, this lead us to visit HOTA the next day which also turned out to be another morning out. There is lots of seating so no need to rush to get to the front of the queue, would definitely recommend to any visitors old or new, I’ve been to the Surfers Paradise a few times but it gave me a different view which I really enjoyed and was ideal for a first time visitor like my mum. Thank you :)

Our morning cruise with Surfers Paradise River Cruises was undoubtedly the highlight of our recent Gold Coast holiday. In the first hour of the cruise we enjoyed tea, coffee and a yummy morning tea. We also had a cheeky strawberry daiquiri in the second hour of the cruise. Delicious! Our captain was entertaining and very knowledgeable of the local sights. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. A great cruise at a very reasonable price and very comfortable seats. We definitely want to do the sunset cruise and the city lights cruise sometime soon. Thanks for a great morning.

The river cruise was lovely, a very pleasant morning out to see the fabulous properties and Gold Coast city back drop to die for. Running commentary, tea, coffee, biscuits, cakes and sunshine what more could you ask for at a very reasonable price… Remember to duck when going under those overhead bridges. A lovely trip for all ages.

Loved the Sunset Cruise. Not a real sunset due to clouds but enjoyable cruise with friendly staff. On board drinks really reasonably priced. Captain & commentary was very knowledgeable & interesting. Great for all, couples, friends, singles, families.

Can't do this justice with words, I took my partner for her 35th birthday on the sunset cruise and it was a remarkable experience. We were blessed with a full moon, a gorgeous sunset and we even saw two eagles eating fish they had caught. The captain was absolutely hilarious and so informative, using dry humour to point out some of the interesting facts surrounding the estates along the water. I particularly enjoyed hearing about the owners, visitors and the history of the estates. He was also really great at describing where/how to look and I didn't miss any of the highlights. He also pointed out anything unique and noteworthy, describing in wonderful detail what was occurring, like the talons of the eagles tearing their food. This is a family owned small business which really makes you feel like you are in QLD and on holiday. They play chilled music which was a perfect volume. Thank you so much for this experience, I am an extremely popular boyfriend and I don't think I have ever pulled off a birthday surprise as good. My only concern is what I will do next year.

We had a relaxing 1.5hrs morning ferry ride. Highly recommended. This is our second time in GC. We never get tired to enjoy the GC skyline, the scenery of the canal and a bit of the sea.

We celebrated my hens at Holey Moley and honestly, it could not have been more perfect! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and completely embraced our theme (yes, we came dressed as grannies 👵🏼🧓🏼). The laughs started before we even hit the first hole, and the night just kept getting better from there. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly—from keeping the drinks flowing to making sure we were all comfortable and having the best time. Every single staff member we interacted with was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being part of the fun with us, which made such a difference. A very special shout-out to our Function Host, Beth. She was an absolute superstar! Beth checked in on us constantly without ever being intrusive, kept the energy high, and made sure nothing was too much trouble. She went out of her way to make sure my hens felt extra special and tailored just for us. Her warmth and enthusiasm honestly elevated the whole experience, and we were all so grateful for her care and attention. Between the hilarious mini-golf courses, the great music, the cocktails, and the incredible service, Holey Moley gave us a night we’ll never forget. Thank you to Beth and the entire team for creating such a fun, relaxed, and memorable atmosphere—it really was above and beyond anything we expected. My hens was truly unforgettable, and Holey Moley played a huge part in that

It was a fun girls night out for my friend's birthday... the staff were very friendly and helpful, I thought we would have to sit around because we got there 20mins early, but nope... they got us straight into the activities and were very polite about it.

Holey Moly is a great place for Ten pin bowling. Lovely atmosphere and great food nibbles. We thoroughly enjoy our time there. Toilets are spotless and lots of other things to do including Miniature Golf and much more.

My husband and I loved it! Great drinks specials and great mini golf challenges. When we travel we love going to play mini golf and holey moley never fails us! The novelty scenes are always great fun too

We went to Holey Moley to play on the virtual darts board. We were about to play when we were told there was an error with the booking system and we’d have to wait an additional 45 minutes. The workers were very helpful and gave us 18 holes of mini golf free of charge (we had the option of any activity in the venue) and we were then able to play darts. Would totally recommend as the activities were very fun and staff will be very helpful.

No prices listed anywhere. Really unhelpful and unfriendly service. However, the minigolf was extremely fun. Funky holes and lots of picture opportunities. They don't do a mini golf and bowling deal which is weird and either cash grabby or just silly. Would live to try the escape rooms, maybe next time. Went in the weekday so no one was right behind us making us go fast so it was an enjoyable experience

Went here a few weeks ago with my girls and the staff was super nice showing us videos of others having lots of fun!! Really got the girls out of the comfort zone and pushed them to do it! It did not disappoint! It is a bit pricey but the video is hilarious and we watch it every time we need a laugh! Thanks to the really kind staff they were so helpful!

Absolutely amazing ride! This is the 4th time i went on the slingshot in my holiday and each time got more and more fun and i even realized that you can spin it around if you kick your legs and lean back! Every time i came the staff were very kind and had the best jokes. I wish they could close later than 10pm, but i guess thats because of a council requirement. Overall, this is the best ride i went on in my whole life. Absolutely amazing!

Went for the Canada day food menu. All the food served we great. The chips there are to die for. The atmosphere is so great and they had heaters on because it was cold. I will be going back soon!

A spot with so many kinds of craft beer on tap! 🍺✨ You can try a tasting flight for under $20—so many choices, it’s hard to decide. Meals come in generous portions, definitely great value. For kids, they even serve ice cream topped with cotton candy 🍦🍭 And there are plenty of other “wow” dishes on the menu. Such a fun place to visit!

Had dinner here with my partner, straight away the lovely waitress was so polite and helpful with our menu selection and local brew options, the surf and turf pizza we ordered was delicious and the wings were full of flavour. Would recommend for a nice dinner and beverage!

Crispy Salmon ($33.95): Dipping the salmon into the hollandaise sauce is absolutely a great idea and it’s boneless and love the crispy fish skin. The chips are also delicious and crispy. However, I’m allergic to garlics and there are garlic chips and garlics in the sauce on top of the salmon but I still tried my best to avoid them to enjoy the rest of the meal. Virgin Above The Clouds (All Mocktails $14.95): It’s pretty cool that all their cocktails and mocktails are served with a dry ice cup. The blue fairy floss also makes it look exceptional. The drink itself is quite seedy, tarted and delightful. I appreciate most of the dishes having photos on the menu and there are daily specials at very low prices but expensive if you order the same way as me. The restaurant has mostly been with many vacancies every time I pass by and the service staff are all great. Overall, it’s a 9.5 out of 10!

Really enjoyed the wide range of Australian beers. The service was good early. And the staff helpful throughout. But they got busy later, and didn't seem to have enough people on, so I was waiting for a while. The meal I had was disappointing. Bland, unseasoned, soggy meat - a massive let down. It's so easy to make pulled brisket taste good if you want to.

They take great care during the initial briefing and provide raincoats and storage for possessions. All of my family thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were cold and wet, but still wanting more by the end. All the staff were very friendly. On the bookings side, I think they need a little work. My booking time was flip flopped around between sessions on the day a few times due to various reasons.

The jet boat adventure was amazing. I joined with my 5-yrs and 7-yrs sons, and both of them enjoyed as much as I did. Josh was one of the best. He did so many slides and 360-degree spins whenever he could. We all had great fun during the 40 mins tour. Highly recommend.

Gerry was an amazing driver. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting fun, excitement and some laughter. We would do this again on our next visit. It was a bonus being walking distance from surfers paradise ✨️

Paradise Jet Boaring is a great experience to have in Gold Coast and Sufers Paradise. It feels like I'm a Gold Coast(Sufers Paradise)resident as I saw everthing in there. Not to mention Josh, the best driver who explains the great spots there and cares passengers thoroughly. Highly recommended! :)

I saw Quack r duck on tiktok days before our family trip to the goldcoast and had to squeeze in a visit. So worth making time for, land and water adventure 😍. Kids loved it, nice tour, beautiful views and our guides have a lovely spirit, makes it that much more enjoyable. Got afew souvenirs to remember the experience ❤️. The family got the whistle, hat and soft toy 🦆. Unique experience and way of exploring, so cool.

Loved our trip today. Being much higher than a car gave us a great view. Hamish and Amanda were terrific, funny and informative. Loved the Dad jokes!! Was a nice touch for the kids to get a "tattoo" at no extra cost. The merchandise was good value - also a nice change. Highly recommend ⛱️😎

The Aqua Duck activity was so much fun from start to finish. The staff were amazing — super friendly, welcoming, and so well-organised both in the store and on the boat. Everything ran smoothly, and their energy made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone visiting — such a great team and an unforgettable time! This is really the heartbeat of Surfers Paradise. There are lots of things to do, there is the Surfers Paradise Sign at the beach end and there are lots of food offerings. Moves to block the Esplanade are welcome as it opens up a lot more opportunities for markets and other activities. Some of the pavers are in need of upgrades and we noticed some elderly tourists with suitcases struggling to pull their bags over the rough areas.

It's such a little mall but so full of life! It's now a thoroughfare from the Light Rail train stop to the beach and Esplanade. The place comes to life at night with buskers entertaining the evening crowd of shoppers or dinner patrons stretching their legs or in search of an eatery. Great colourful space and full of life.

Always busy, lots to see and do great buskers, located between Surfers Paradise beach and Nerang River. Trams run north and south every five minutes from Cavill Avenue tram stop.

Great place to shop and eat. Loads of choice from healthy to not. Around the corner all the nightclubs. And right ahead fantastic Surfers Paradise beach.

Mainly for tourists and holiday makers I guess (during day at least) good for people watchers lol see some interesting characters. Evening and night plenty of entertainment by buskers with some nightclubs nearby in Caville lane I think it is.

DESTINATION GOLD COAST DID IT AGAIN!!! A great event with VIVA at Surfers Paradise. Free events with tribute artists and discounts at a range of stores made Cavill Avenue the place to be. Plenty of room to roam and see vintage cars, eat, drink and enjoy the festivities.

This nightclub is expensive and horrible. Music isn’t impressive and the girls collecting the cover fees is just horrible. No form of greetings, that’s alright. Cover fee is $20, what? And using your card is another $1. As well for your orders, if you’re using card, there is additional fees. $20 does not give you any free drinks (for guys I guess cause the girls in front of me was given 2 free drinks). Would never recommend.

Fairly busy for a Tuesday night, and the atmosphere was upbeat and enjoyable. The music showed flashes of being good, but the DJ keept slowing it down just as he managed to get some good thumping beats going. On the downside, there were two fights... once between guys and then later on two women. Classy clientele! The bar staff were ok, except that apparently when you're on the Ladies Night drinks special you need to bring your empty glass back. Nobody told us this, but on our 3rd round of drinks they refused to honour the deal and wanted full price. This wasn't made clear to us, and we're not teenagers trying to scam drinks, but there was no tolerance so we left early rather than be treated rudely.

Was disappointed, I’m from nsw, the staff immediately knew we weren’t from the area, felt very judged. We got there at 11pm was dead. Wouldn’t recommend as a place to party for the night but if you have some mula to spend and need pres, sure. The bathroom was pretty cool though.

I came here for my 18th birthday last year in december. Let’s just say it was the worst experience i have ever had, i’ve never been to a nightclub before and this was the first one i wanted to go to in the gold coast since i come from a small town that doesn’t have many. I first walked up to the security guard and he let my partner in first, he looked at my id looked me up and down shook his head and took my id and slid it in his back pocket. i was there crying and confused asking for my id back and he refused to give it back, my partner had to ask him for it back because i was hysterical. i’m autistic and an extremely vulnerable person. i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone as i felt like i was judged the second i walked up to the security guard. AVOID THIS PLACE!!

Was offered half price drinks for 36 entry, only got $4 off of drink, tiny club, okay service but I had to show my card every time or I wouldn't get the discount. Which is fine but warn me before charging full price considering they already knew my order. The bouncers were rude and attempted to not let my friend back in even though he had a stamp and just went out for a smoke. I had to get management to sort it. All in all, I know I won't go back but for the night it was fun if you're drunk enough. They probably deal will horrible drunks every weekend but don't label every customer difficult because of that.

Lady at reception was rude. Mentioned my membership to get free entry and she gave me attitude. I went again the following week and was once again given attitude by a different lady giving stamps. Her communication skills were weak. She didn't speak to me and instead just assumed I could read her mind. Although the bar girls were nice, they really need to work on who they serve. I was waiting at the front of the bar for 10 minutes while the bar girl continued serving people who came after me.

Waitresses now compared to the old venue look so manly. They are nice and mostly okay at their job when they aren't distracted. Wouldn't recommend getting a booth till they hire better looking staff and definitely not worth the title of the coasts best club anymore.

What an awesome, immersive experience we had. All thanks to Isaac and his team, for making it a memorable arvo and upgrading us to the shoot and roam. Put my partners mind at ease with thorough explanations of what we were about to undertake. Definitely get yourself down to Surfers and lose yourself in shootem up Zombie heaven!! Thanks again Isaac, all the best bro!!

I heard about this place from a friend. They noted that it was one of the best VR places around. After I did a bit of research on Google reviews, we decided to go. As soon as we were greeted, it was obvious that the guy at the counter was the Isaac stated in all the reviews, as he's so patient and kind. As a previous customer service manager of a large entertainment company, all I can say is that people like him are hard to come by these days. Hes so genuine and honestly enhances the overall experience. Notably for me, it is nearly impossible to get my dad to do anything when he's already said no, even if he may love it. Isaac helped to convince him with the free trail while also giving him the space to say no, as he didn't want to make him uncomfortable. He tried it and said he's glad he did. My family that didn't want to go, left very happy. I will defiently be back and tell all my friends about it - particularly as long as Isaac is there. We had the best FREAKing time! So much fun doing the VR escape room. The manager Isaac was so helpful, kind, and funny and made it all so easy do understand even though it was our first VR experience. We were well taken care of and nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t feel rushed and could enjoy every moment to the fullest. It’s great to do with family and friends ☺️ we will definitely be back for more!

Stumbled upon this hidden gem whilst out with the kids, from the very first interaction Steven was amazing! We have special needs children and he was super patient and attentive to our needs. Everyone had a blast and would most certainly recommend anyone in surfers to come check it out! 10/10

Isaac was a fabulous host and looked after us really well. He advised us on the best package and my son and I had an absolute blast defeating zombies. Was impressed by the mission game play and how immersive the experience was; I thoroughly recommend. Great job Isaac.

We highly recommend FREAK, we had a go on lots of the games, Ghost Hunter (whatever that’s actually called), which was great for all of us including our just turned 7 year old, we did the Zombie one, that was pretty cool, but a bit more for one that won’t scare as easy, then we did laser tag, that was surprising good, I was especially surprised how well you could play in what looked to be such a small area, then the girls had a go at the dancing one, they enjoyed that too, and I finished off with some laps around Spa in the motion race sim. Total we spent about 3 hours there over 2 days. The customer service was top notch, Stephen & Isaac really looked after us, we’ll definitely be back if we get the opportunity.

My wife and I managed to reserve the last trip 14:30 on September 23,2018 the night before. With the guide from friendly and dedicated staff, we learned that two groups of whales including one with a visible wound on its back were in the vicinity. Apart from showing their tail fins, a whale did two acrobatic displays and my patient wife captured the sights in her video!

As locals to the area we took this tour as a means to help support local tourism as we know how hard the pandemic has been on the industry. We didn't expect it to be as good as it was. I cannot recommend taking this tour enough. The staff are knowledgeable, caring and friendly. We had the time of our lives and got to see dolphins and whales up close. An inexpensive tick off my bucket list! Loved every minute of the tour.

I have booked my tickets with you so I could skip using Sea world cruise. What a surprise when I realised that the meeting point was at sea world and that you were a “sister company”. I’m now about to board on a boat that gives money to an animal killer without even knowing anything in advance. Very disappointed customer ! I’ll make sure to pass the word. Shame on you.

Wow - what a wonderful experience. We went on the 8.30am cruise with Skipper Wayne. The tour was informative, friendly and very professional. We saw loads of whales and had an awesome time. The kids loved it as well. We highly recommend Whales in Paradise. The best on the Gold Coast.

Every year is always special and so worthwhile doing..No it's not the same as seeing from your hotel window. Every experience is different. It's about up close and personal.

Amazing team and the excursion was fantastic. The 2 little points I could raise is probably the quality of the food and the time between activities but in general I recommend the tour suitable for children and adults. The captain was explaining a lot about the island and the neighborhood.

It's still worth seeing if you haven't been, but it hasn't really seen a major update since 2007 and it's not all that good anymore to be honest

The staff were amazing! I went in expecting to soil myself, but I didn't. We had a 10 year old with us who enjoyed it and got quite frightened by it. Us adults were not phased. If you have kids with you that like a fright or two, take them!

It was fun, there were a little bit of gore but that was in the dare rooms which were totally optional to go in. Wasn't exactly a maze but it was fun, a few scary parts but no jump scares unfortunately. Not recommended to kids 11 and under or kids that are afraid of the dark. Overall good experience, bit if a let down but sti fun and would go again. The price was up there and you couldn't really make a day of it. Also take your phone in with you since there are photo ops.

Great place to go with the family, the only down side is it’s finished really quickly. I went with my husband and two boys age 11,13 had great fun. Also the two upper levels was closed when we went. But we did get a discounted price.

A waste of money. Very expensive for the dated scare tactics it had to offer. The only thing that frightened us a little was some high pressured air being released suddenly in your ear. We thought it would have been more interactive with people jumping out at us, but no. Thanks to the lovely lady who took the most amazing photo of us (sarcasm). She could have told me that my hair was all over the place. Anyway, don’t waste your time or your money!

Expensive, and you aren't allowed a refund, not even partial, if you leave because it's too spooky. However, you are allowed to return if one of your little ones has to go to the bathroom. I find it was a lot less spooky with a group, so be prepared to travel with others if you find it's scary. Also don't bring little kids as they will definitely get WAY too scared.

I went here years ago & it was a brilliant experience, so as part of a surprise weekend I took a friend for her birthday. I took the VIP package which from the moment we got there was very well done, bag of goodies complimentary champers & nibbles. The staff were fantastic what a job, dress up & get to scream at the patrons. After a great ghost train ride we made it to the main arena, The food I thought was excellent & the drinks fun, we were still being well entertained by the wait staff. This is where it all went wrong, the show which should have been the highlight was the worst 3rd rate performance I have ever seen, Thrilling Aerial Circus, pathetic, Edgy comedy, it was embarrassing, the dancers were worn out & tired it stopped & started & really went no where Spiderlash no idea what they were doing or just really over it. We left at half time. Such a shame this show let you down as it could have been brilliant

Very small ice rink. Not worth booking unless child under 5. Spoke with Kaddy the manager asking for a cancellation and refund. Was only provided a half refund. Quite disappointed. Can’t believe they could book 40 people, be surprised if injuries aren’t common as a result of the small size…

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is just COVERED in black mould. It stinks. It's on every single surface. This place should be shut down.

I never usually review but I feel like it’s important to: please don’t come here if you have sensitivity to mould. There is SO MUCH of it on the ceiling, the room walls, the rink walls - just giant patches of mould everywhere :( The attendant was lovely, but the ice is definitely the worst we’ve skated on and it makes the kids’ penguins practically unusable. It desperately needs an upgrade and at this point should be considered a health hazard.

Hands down worst ice skating experience ever. The ice is super lumpy, chipped and covered in debris and dirt. Skates are old and not cared for. Helmets too big to be worn by my 10yo daughter. The rink is approximately half the size of a tennis court. But the worst is customer experience. After 30 seconds on the ice, my daughter said it was terrible and unskatable (She skates often so knows what it is supposed to be like). We told the staff that the ice was terrible but we were met with "sorry there is a no refund policy" and "the ice is good, I was just out there" (my photos of the ice say otherwise!)... Management were also argumentative but eventually agreed to give a refund. However, in order for a refund to occur we would need to complete a form to be submitted to the finance department. And having paid with ApplePay I did not have my card details to complete the form and was told I could not use another card which I had handy. Although given the opportunity to send my card details in by email, the time and energy to do this is not worth the $20 refund. However I hope this review helps those considering going here. Save your money. Don't bother.

Having been to the rink before, I was horrified to find that it had gotten even worse than the previous time. The ice is uneven and the rink is tiny. Compounding that disappointment is that the rink has been put in an old theatre that was never designed for this purpose. The inadequate ventilation has led to a heavy build up of mould and the ceiling is deteriorating. Not at all a pleasant venue.

Did Learn to skate plus 2 other sessions during our stay. Kady was amazing and really made our experience extra special. The kids loved her and she encouraged them to skate. Will be back.

Absolute joke of a place, surprised they havnt been sued yet. Provide helmets for kids that are 5 sizes to big. Only have 3 of every size skate and then provide walking shoes to ice skate in lol. Don’t waste your time with this place

Nice and quiet good place for the whole family. Plenty of things to do and see. Wheelchair friendly paths, and they have a liberty swing here as well. Well maintained area. Toilets are close by. Wonderful beaches as well. Plenty of parking space but it's paid parking. Nice and easy paths to walk on. Highly recommend going to have a look at 😊😊.

This is our family’s favourite park on the Gold Coast! Our kids absolutely love it! there’s always a great variety of activities to enjoy. The park is beautifully maintained, clean, and perfect for families, kids, or anyone looking to relax or stay active outdoors. I also love that my favourite cafe, Barrel Espresso, is right there, it makes every visit even better! Kudos to the Gold Coast Council for doing such an amazing job keeping the park safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.

Good place to take the kids, with plenty of parks, walking tracks, outdoor water splash areas and picnic areas. There's a range of other activities too, including the aqua park, rockpools and a few restaurants nearby. Some pleasant sea views all along the walk too, and a great place to stop. Parking can be very limited during peak times, however, so plan accordingly!

This park pleased all three of our kids from 11-4yrs. It was unique. Beautiful views. Great for different capabilities. Bike track that was well thought about and made fun. In addition we used the aqua park and enjoyed coffee at the Barrel Espresso. So kept everyone happy. Definitely worth a visit if in the area with kids

This park is definitely a paradise for kids who love playgrounds because you can literally name all kinds of playground equipments here including the rare ones I’ve never seen before. Moreover, there’s even a water park called Aqua Park but you need to buy a ticket for that, which isn’t free. Or you can just build sandcastles and play with water on the river beach. On the other hand, I saw a bunch of people having great picnics on the BBQ areas and simply on the grass. There are tiny lodges with benches where you can lay down and relax as if you’re in a sauna, and a large pier that has long benches with the most magnificent views and it’s also a ferry stop and great fishing spot. It has a decent number of pubic toilets in the park and if you are hungry, there’s a seafood restaurant and an espresso shop. The welcome sign near the front gate which is made of grass and flowers looks amazing and memorable. If you are taking the light rail, I suggest you disembark at Southport instead of Broadwater Parklands because there are much more shops and restaurants near Southport station. To top it off, the park is much bigger and more versatile than I imagined. It’s absolutely an excellent place for both adults and children to visit.

This is a fantastic park with plenty of scenic places to sit and heaps of fun for kids, and bike riding. It has a bouncy pad a area to swim a deck and a mini bike to practise track. Arguably the best park on the gold coast

First time I’ve been here and I’m embarrassed to say I never knew anything about this Park. I mean… Who doesn’t want to see peacocks roaming around and geese that are obviously in family packs? Wild birds that have made themselves at home in this Park. A hidden lake and water features are obviously a drawing card for these birds… we even saw a ‘lone’ Curlew. It was limping but otherwise quite unperturbed with the other birds about. Hoping it had a Mate that wasn’t too far away. So many little hidey holes around… noticed the Gold Coast Tent community were residents of the Park as well. If anything, their areas were kept very clean and tidy… a sign of the times, something the authorities should be sympathetic towards but can also understand people not coming here as it’s confronting to see a lot of the Tents. I wasn’t bothered, would probably feel safer here than some other well known Parks. Plenty of seating around, BBQs, water, toilets. Saw a 10yr Olds’ Birthday party in full force by the little stream that runs thru the park. Plenty of Parking and plenty of ‘shade’ for the tourists and locals. Can even get your feet wet in the water ways….. Would love to come back and stay for a few hours. Also….don’t feed the Birds’! Signs are in the Park to let you know.

I simply loved this place. The highlight for me was getting an opportunity to feed the birds and interact with them! There are quite a variety of birds, including peacocks, water birds, and of course, pigeons whom you could feed out of your hand! The beach is a stones throw away, which you can reach by simply crossing the bridge. Lovely place to visit with family and friends. Free parking is available on site.

My favourite park. This is one of the best park on the Gold Cost. Beautiful place and nice facilities, two playgrounds, two public toilets, BBQ, lots of benches and shades. Lots of car parking space too. It's so nice place for walking around and picnic!

This park is so tranquil and peaceful. We visited on an extremely hot day but it was a few degrees cooler because of all the big shady trees. All the birds are so beautiful and we saw a number of peacocks. Easy access, plenty of parking and disability access also. Very tidy and well maintained park. And great playgrounds for kids. Big foots cave is pretty cool too

Macintosh Island Park is a wonderful oasis of a park close to Main Beach, Narrowneck and Surfers Paradise. With plenty of shade amongst the trees, there is a lake, plenty of birdlife (such as peacocks), a play area, picnic tables, all in a peaceful and tranquil location just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Main Beach and Surfers Paradise. A wonderful place to escape the crowds for an hour or two.

Done second time today after 5 years. Friendly staff, great experience as always plus video option gives you opportunity to capture your funny expressions.

Worth every penny and for 10$ extra you can do it twice which is completely worth it A good quick experience for those searching to get a tiny dash of adrenaline flowing

This is a fantastic ride. Road trip to the coast with friends of an afternoon and go on the sling shot. Such fun. Went on it 5 times last Thursday! You can also get a USB of your experience to take with you. Very funny to watch. I highly recommend having a go. I know I will be back and the operators told me they are building a bigger,higher and faster sling shot at a new location not far from the original.

Sling Shot Surfers Paradise is a great theme park, it’s open till late and there is no admission fee so you can walk around and just watch if you don’t want to ride anything. My daughter and her friend did the Vomatron and then decided to ride the Sling Shot as well. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and did a great job of calming everyone’s nerves. This ride is tall and looks amazing at night. We purchased the video, it was just too funny and good value for $20. I’m still not keen for a ride myself but the atmosphere there is fantastic and well worth a visit, especially at night.

This is a truely fantastic place and experience! Great atmosphere and location. I recommend going at night as it’s amazing! However when we went the staff were so nice, but when we were on the ride they never checked our restraint, which made us really worried as we wanted it double checked. Other then that, 100% recommended!

We went for a charity function supporting mental health and the setting was very good - the service was a little slow during some stages but it wasn’t too bad. The venue was well organised and transport was never an issue. The views over the turf club to surfers was pleasing and of course the horses added to the special nature of the event.

SPENT THE DAY IN THE FINE DINING RESTAURANT PRIVATE AREA CELEBRATING A FRIENDS 50th. I cannot compliment the Chefs and Service Staff highly enough. The view of the racecourse was truly spectacular- uninterrupted views of the parading ring, the entire course and we sat right on the finishing line in air conditioned comfort being truly pampered by first class service from 11am to 6pm. Talk about value for money. OMG. It was as fine a dining experience as I’ve ever had. There was not a moment when we had to wait for a drink. Our food was delivered perfectly - seven course set menu which I can still remember because it was one of the best meals I have had in 2025, by far. We had our own table, our own little TV for watching interstate racing and the absolute perfect view of GC racing. We all won, except for the Birthday Boy 😂, but we shouted his day and his accommodation and we all had the best day ever. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough - even if you don’t know much about racing. It was super high energy fun, superb food and drink and service and gorgeous surrounds. I have been to racecourses all over Australia and this was truly the best Raceday experience I have had anywhere. I cannot wait to make up an excuse to go back!

Melbourne Cup day was another great race meet but so disappointed that the local Gold Coast races results weren’t shown on any of the screens in the members areas and I dare say anywhere else on track.

Visiting for the Greenlife expo. The venue was clean but I did notice the black curtains around the roof where all tucked up and untidy

We had such a fantastic experience at the Turf Club on Melbourne Cup Day, all thanks to Nicki! After a really disappointing time at another venue earlier in the day, Nicki absolutely turned things around for us. She went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after, and her warm, friendly attitude made all the difference. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was great, and Nicki made us feel genuinely welcome. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend the day — thank you, Nicki, for saving our Cup Day!

Great way to spend time at the races. Staff sensational and facilities terrific. If you're looking for a day with friends and want to experience the thrill of horse racing, it's hard to go past this place. As they say, where surf meets the turf.

Beautiful and peaceful spot. I suggest chilling here for sunset on the off peak seasons away from holidays or schoolies. Nice spot to unwind after work. It overlooks the Nerang river. West Surfers pavilion is the building on the right.

A small but beautiful little park at the heart of Surfers Paradise. You’ll enjoy a stroll walk or sit by the side overlooking the river. There is fireworks show too on Australia Day or New Year. You might see a rainbow or two on a rainy day. On a great day, you’ll experience one of the most breathtaking sunsets. Here are some of mine to share with 😊

Small but just the right size. Has playground at the lower end of the park. A few people sit by river and eat lunch, read magazines etc Lovely views of Nerang River. See pics. Right next to helm bar and bistro.

Very peaceful and relaxing area to sit down with pretty views of the city scape. There are ferries from here to other parts of Gold Coast and toilets near by.

Great park for a quick “time out” in the middle of Surfers Paradise, not many people around, ferry wharf is easy to get to

Apart from the great river views this place is fantastic for an evening stroll. Excellent vibe probably needs a council BBQ down here to make it a little more family friendly. Also has a nice little beach front where the smaller ones can wade around. You can not beat Surfers when it come to atmosphere period.

Beautiful park. When I take my kids to Surfers Paradise I come here. It's a nice escape from the busy city. It's absolutely beautiful to see the sunset here. Playground for kids, gorgeous gardens, nice sandy beach on the root canal and lots of fish to look at in the water.

A beautiful small outdoor playground among the buildings and just close to the river with a pretty view. They have public toilets too which a plus point for mums with kids.

This is a great place for morning walks with your kids, it has a play ground, channel view, also you may walk along the embankment

Lionel perry park is a small but pleasantly pretty park area, it has a beautiful viewing area to look upon the gold coast cannels; sadly it is a hazardous place to venture at certain times of the day due to shaddy characters roaming around there.

When I visited The Surfers International Art Gallery today, I was very enjoying and felt a very spiritual in my mind. Highly recommend it to the public. It's worth to visit.
