Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Europa-Park, located in the south of Baden-Wurttemberg, is the undisputed number one amusement park in Germany with up to 5.6 million visitors annually. The park's popularity is well-deserved due to its diverse attractions, meticulously designed grounds, and emphasis on maintenance and visitor experience. With over 100,000 reviews on Google alone, Europa-Park nearly achieves a perfect five-star rating.
Really good first experience. The app allow you to store tickets, attempt to get virtual line "shortcut", and the management of the queues is quite well done. The park is really big and adapted to diverse ages and preferences. Each attraction also comes with a unique description do better understand what senses will get a challenge, in case your sensitivity don't allow you to take it. Which make it more inclusive. I didn't get the occasion to test all the coasters but so far it was really excellent and would enjoy coming back during another season. (Came for the Halloween event) Last time I went to an amusement park like this one it was Osaka Universal Studio. The Halloween them was waaaay better with lots of actors and fun representations in the street of the park. Immersive experience. I was expecting the same here, but instead you'll get a very well decorated park. You can find the necessary to eat and drink in the park, but if you are ok a budget, I recommend coming with your own food and drinks. To enter, buy tickets in advance, and come at least 45 min before the official opening of the park.

Yesterday, my family and I visited Europa Park in Rust, Germany, one of the largest and most famous theme parks in Europe. The park is beautifully designed, with different sections representing various European countries, each offering unique rides, attractions, and delicious food options. We were impressed by the variety of cuisines available, allowing us to taste dishes from different cultures all in one place. The park is very well-organized, and the rides were absolutely thrilling well maintained and enjoyable for all ages. However, our experience wasn’t perfect. The biggest issue was the extreme heat and the lack of cooling systems in waiting areas, restaurants, and cafes. Unlike many other major theme parks around the world, Europa Park doesn’t seem to have AC, fans, or shaded cooling spots in queues or dining areas, which made the visit quite uncomfortable, especially under the scorching sun. Another downside was the behavior of some employees. At the Arthur ride, after finishing the attraction, we went to check our ride photos, and the staff member was extremely rude and disrespectful , speaking to us harshly simply because she claimed she couldn’t hear us properly even though we clearly stated our cart number. Later, in the Lindt chocolate shop (Switzerland Section), an employee gave us unwelcoming looks and side-eyes, likely because we wear hijabs. Her attitude made us so uncomfortable that we left without buying anything, despite our initial excitement to get some chocolates. Overall, Europa Park is a fantastic theme park with incredible rides, great food, and a well-structured layout. However, the lack of cooling systems in hot weather and the unprofessional behavior of some staff members really affected our experience. The park should improve guest comfort by adding fans or AC in waiting areas and train employees to be more respectful and inclusive toward visitors from all backgrounds.
Alyssum — Google review
First time at Europa Park and it definitely lived up to the hype. The park is huge, super clean and really well organized. My ride ranking: 1. Blue Fire was my absolute favorite. Smooth, fast and so much fun. I rode it twice and would have gone again if I could. 2. Voltron and Silver Star both came in close behind. Voltron’s launch is wild, and Silver Star’s height and airtime make it unforgettable. I also did both of these twice. 3. Wodan looks amazing but is way too loud and rough for my taste. 4. Euro Mir is a cool idea, but it just gives you a headache more than anything. Overall, an awesome park with tons to do and a great atmosphere. I will definitely be back.
Stefan — Google review
This place is amazing. There are so many different roller coasters and so many different stuff to do and the rides are incredible, best in the world. In the perfect condition so all the costers are very smooth which is very important. So you can enjoy entire day without having neck pain. I visited a few disneylands parks and in comparison this one is way nicer.
Marcin K — Google review
It’s amazing theme park, I think the best in Europe, the approach to disabled people is amazing and so respectful 🙏🏻 The only thing that really bother me is that people smoking all over the park and it’s so gross, please define some area for smoking and that’s all :) Why small kids need to breathe this poison? I thought Germany is more advanced in public health care 😅 how this is legal? Do the silver star it’s amazing!!
Guy S — Google review
Great park. We mostly did the big rollercoasters. They were next level. Park really well organised, loads to do and see. Queues were not too bad and you can check on app. If I had on rear before, there is a virtual queue which allows you to pre-book some rides.
Steve B — Google review
Beautiful, with several attractions for kids and adults. We started first attraction before 11:00, allthough official openkng was at 11:00. We also saw the parade of halloween which was nice. Did not have time for the shows as we wanted to do as many attractions as possible. Queue was also not too bad, except for few attractions , all others were below 30 min, some even below 10, we managed to do more then 20! Only Contra the parking places are so small that if you have a big car might be difficult to get out .
Ester S — Google review
Wow!! What a park! It is so clear that it is owned/run by a roller coaster company. There are so many rides of differing levels. My adrenaline fueled heart was in its element! We had such fun! The upselling was not overwhelming and the food and merch was well priced. We think it beats any UK theme park and most Disney resorts. The park is huge and it was centred around visiting different countries. 10/10 would recommend and we will be going back!

Atlantica SuperSplash

4.6
(1104)
Roller coaster
Atlantica SuperSplash is a seafarer-themed roller coaster and boat ride that opened in 2005. It offers a viewing platform and is located near a smoke-free property. The Portugal theme adds to its charm, with the water roller coaster being the main highlight. Visitors praise its smoothness compared to Poseidon and enjoy the theming, especially the massive wooden ship nearby. The ride's capacity ensures manageable wait times, and it's recommended for both kids and adults.
Busy in the summer months . I prefer going in September

Kristýna V — Google review
This ride is very similar to Poseidon with equal fun and surprises. This ride had very little waiting time and was also quite quick. There is also a old ship set piece which look quite magnificent (see picture) . Would recommend for both kids as well as adults.
Pragadish M — Google review
It is a very short but tall and has a drop & a big splash. You don’t get that wet but some spectators do
Blake S — Google review
It's tough to give a review on this one because it's so short but so much fun. I'm not saying it's a bad ride but comparing to the other rides in the park it's very short. But you should definetly ride it.
Awkward T — Google review
Lovely ride, unlike the staff. I was very disappointed when one of the staff (long brown hair and light eyes) seated my brothers in the boat but left me out, despite us saying we were 3. He was absolutely unbothered and unprofessional, and seated me on the next boat alone.

Pirates in Batavia

4.8
(1117)
Amusement park ride
Pirates in Batavia is a thrilling boat ride that takes visitors through various dimly lit scenes featuring animatronic pirates and other characters. The Holland-themed area offers the mind-blowing Pirates of Batavia ride, while the Spanish zone is known for live shows and kids' activities. The attraction features impressive animatronics along the track, with notable scenes in an Asian village and a jungle.
We ended up riding it three times and because it was on the virtual line. The skeleton on a boat being followed by a crocodile really cracked me up... The cool thing is this is a "ride" in itself the animatronic is on a track and you can actually see this twice. The first time is right after the first drop and you enter the Asian village and the second time is when you enter the jungle. The effects on this ride are amazing. I have to admit it is a better ride than Pirates of the Caribbean at both Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. The theming of the ride and the queue and the restaurant at the end are top notch and extremely detailed. We stopped in at the restaurant after our journey and had the egg rolls and noodles -- a perfect light snack after an amazing ride!! It was fun to watch all the boats go by and then we realized that each one is unique and they have different theming which is a very awesome detail that I don't think you would notice unless you were sitting in the restaurant. Also loved the little animal pal of the main pirate character, so adorable and comical!
Kevin R — Google review
This is one of the crowning jewels at Europa Park in my view. The craftsmanship and quality of the scenes is incredible and seeing animatronic life everywhere from start to finish makes this a wonderful experience. One ride is not enough as there's so much to see!
Marhelorpe — Google review
Absolutely stunning decorations! You get to see many different pirate stories in incredible atmosphere.
Kristýna V — Google review
What a beautiful dark ride, there was a lot to see and enjoy! I’m not a big fan of screens in dark rides and there definitely were a few, but nothing *too* bad. And I would’ve enjoyed it more if the voice lines were in English, or maybe even some in Dutch. Would still definitely recommend going. (Queue times are not that bad with virtual line)
Dirick W — Google review
my favotrite in europa park
Prabu S — Google review
A really good water dark ride that combines modern technology with good storytelling and also lots of hidden tributes and references to the old version of the ride, as well as other elements of the park. The queue moves fast because of the high capacity boats. Definitely a must do attraction at Europa Park!
Chris C — Google review
The queue wasn’t-so-long. After the wonderful theming, you (at some times) finally!- get on the ride . You go through a storm and a drop through many villages……and end up in a real Chinese restaurant…!?
Blake S — Google review
This is possibly the best ride in the park. It is a dark ride on par with Disney and Universal. Definitely rivals Pirates of the Caribbean and even beats it in some aspects. It feels like more of an adventure rather than just being a passive viewer. The scenes have more variety and are full of interesting details that you will need multiple ride throughs to fully appreciate.

Eurosat CanCan Coaster

3.8
(1048)
Roller coaster
At Europa-Park, a captivating destination divided into 16 European-themed areas, visitors can explore over 100 attractions and shows, including the thrilling Eurosat CanCan Coaster. This dark roller coaster has undergone a refurbishment that introduced vibrant decor inspired by the lively CanCan aesthetic. While some fans of the original Eurosat may miss its previous theming, many riders appreciate the charming visual effects and engaging queue line filled with delightful details.
A fun rollercoaster with cool lights and decorations. A good medium level of thrill, twists and drops, perfect for anyone not ready for the mega coasters. But if you're short on time I would skip and go straight for the Voltron or Silver Star!
Georgia — Google review
The reviews below compare the Cancan Coaster to its old version, the Eurosat, and the refurbishment brought longer queues with it while the ride didn't change much except for the lit up decor inside. Frankly it's correct that more can be done in terms of the visual experience of the ride, but it's still a great rollercoaster. Make sure to download the park app to stay updated on waiting time, don't spend more than 45 min waiting. The waiting queue is beautifully done in art deco / Jugendstil but you want to ride not wait. Still a great experience, especially for kids 10-16.
Patrick S — Google review
The inside of the ride misses out on so much potential theme graphics. The ride theme while on track just seems so lazy. They could do so so so much more in there.
Wilhelm C — Google review
Guys, I'll never recover here. The Eurosat was the perfect theme for the train. Unfortunately, the French theme is not my taste at all and, in my opinion, not so beautifully realized. The queues are problematic with the stairs in between. (Generally in Europa Park with the stairs and queuing) This is just dangerous if someone falls backwards, the stairs have a domino effect on the people queuing. I miss the Eurosat!
GRAND A — Google review
Great atmosphere and music, but unfortunately the ride itself wasn't my favourite, plus I felt a bit nauseous after.
Kristýna V — Google review
Dark roller coaster with really cute visual effects, cool line with many interesting things to look at. Definitely recommend!
Carla V — Google review
It will be worth 6€ when the ride will be fully functional for everyone... The ride is immersive even from the end of the queue, but my headset had a big issue during the ride and I had a 90° angle offset, meaning I couldn't see the path AND I got dizzy because of the offset (and I never get dizzy during rides)... The staff was kind enough to make me do another lap without the issue, but I was still dizzy from the first ride because I had to do it right after the first one, so I didn't really enjoy it... Kind of a waste of money...
Guillaume M — Google review
I absolutely adored the old ride Eurosat, so it took me a while to adjust. But now I love the new version a lot, I went about 7 times on my last visit. Mostly used the virtual queuing through the app, but wait times were quite short in general on this visit. The new theme of this ride is very well done and of course fits France much better than the old space theme. I'm still going to miss it very much though ;)

Bamboe Baai is a cozy and peaceful restaurant that offers Asian delights. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. While some visitors find the food to be of fair quality and reasonably priced, others wish for spicier options. The ambiance is praised, but there are suggestions for staff to be more professional and friendly. Visitors also note that communication may be challenging for non-German speakers.
Good restaurant serving Asian food
Anthony R — Google review
Overpriced cafeteria food. Come here for the atmosphere, but if you want more interesting and tastier food look elsewhere. Don't bother waiting for this one if there's a line. Just ride Pirates a couple times.
Rachel — Google review
Food is probably better that most places in EP. We enjoyed the reis and chicken dish. It comes with grilled vegetables as well, so that was nice. They should definitely improve the Tapioca desert. It's supposed to be made with coconut cream, but we couldn't trace any.
Anna — Google review
We enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Bamboe Baai today. The ambiance of the restaurant is charming and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The staff at Bamboe Baai were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our lunch was enjoyable from start to finish.
Caroline V — Google review
Actually my favorite restaurant in the park. Often good and not so extremely crowded. Today, however, disappointing as there was a long queue and the table number was assigned by the lady at the entrance, I want to choose my own table if I'm already paying.
GRAND A — Google review
This is a far east themed counter service restaurant overlooking Piraten in Batavia, staff allocate you a table before you collect your food, so there is none of that dismal wandering with a tray looking for a table. The main offer is a bowl of rice or noodles with stir fry vegetables, meat/vegi options and a choice of sauces and toppings. The food was plentiful and really tasty, and the ambiance in the dining area, which is very well themed was really relaxing. A good option for a break from the rides.
Stephen H — Google review
Beautifully themed Thai restaurant with attentive Chefs that cater to everyone. Our children (4-10 y.o.) really enjoyed the chicken noodles “Cortez” and my vegetarian wife was delighted with her vegan rice bowl. Dinner for 6 ended at 62 euro, which is very reasonable for a park restaurant. Highly recommend.
Koby N — Google review
I really love this restaurant! It's so cosy and peaceful and the price very reasonable. The food is also good and generous. However, I suggest to train the staff to be more professional and friendly. A woman welcomed us and explained us nothing... We were quite lost! She was also speaking only German and no word of English.

Buffet restaurant
Restaurant Castillo, located within the Hotel Castillo Alcazar, offers a unique dining experience that stands out for its inviting atmosphere and hearty buffet options. While some may find the selection slightly less extensive compared to other establishments, the charm of this restaurant lies in its homey feel—like enjoying a meal prepared by a loving family member. Diners can indulge in an array of flavorful dishes reminiscent of traditional cooking, with distinct tastes that elevate each bite.
Really good restaurant, we went to a few in the area and this was the best. Lots of choice. I saw some reviews complain about lack of dates covered in bacon. They had them, nothing to complain about. Very nice waiter and very attentive service.

Super buffet, great service, friendly. Food is good, feijoada could be better. Very big choice of food and vegetables as well. Friendly atmosphere
Mario C — Google review
Gorgeous food, plenty of choice, something for everyone. I loved the salad choices and had a whole plate of different salads to start. The ravioli was also delicious. The teenager loved the meat, and the curry, and the pasta, the desserts... Well everything! I do wish they had more lighting though. Bufffet lights are so bright, then we came back to the dark table and couldn't see what we were eating!
Natalie Q — Google review
I recently dined and was extremely disappointed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the service was appalling. The hostess greeted us with a cold, uninterested demeanor, and it only went downhill from there. Our server took an unusually long time to come to our table, and when they did, they were incredibly rude and inattentive. Not only did they get our order wrong, but they also seemed annoyed when we pointed out the mistakes. Simple requests for water refills or extra napkins were met with eye rolls and heavy sighs, making us feel like a burden rather than valued customers. The staff's lack of professionalism and courtesy was evident throughout our meal. At one point, we overheard a server speaking disrespectfully to another customer, further solidifying the negative atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, the rude attitude of the staff and the subpar service completely overshadowed the food, which was mediocre at best. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable dining experience. There are plenty of other places that offer better service and a more welcoming environment.

Fab food! All you can eat buffet with server's that come out and carve your food Infront of you! All the meats melt in your mouth. Fabulous! Just remember to go on a empty stomach.

Great selection of food, comfortable tables and environment. Not too much expensive for the buffer (33.5). Really recommend!
Lee F — Google review
I never really liked buffet restaurant, usually it feels like everything tastes the same and food is most often below average. Howeverw this time I was greatly surprised, felt like mom cooking traditional food for the family, everything had it's distinct taste and while it was not delicate, everything tasted great!, atmosphere was good and meat was more than ok. Definitely recommended to eat with the family if you're really hungry, you will not be disappointed.
Jean-Louis L — Google review

Fast food restaurant
Nestled in a charming locale, Restaurant Don Quichotte offers a delightful dining experience that combines classic Spanish cuisine with modern flair. Although the menu may be somewhat limited, guests can expect to savor delicious dishes like Tortillas and Thai Curry, complemented by an impressive selection of local wines. The ambiance is inviting, featuring both a beautiful interior and a cozy bodega area where families can relax while kids play nearby.
On our way back from Strasbourg to Colmar, we decided to cross the Rhine and experience the lively atmosphere at Europa-Park. The receptionist at El Andaluz quickly made us a reservation at Don Quichotte. The atmosphere was vibrant, and we were seated at a large table. Although the restaurant was full, our male waiter of Asian descent was very friendly and competent in taking our order. Our drinks and food arrived almost immediately. I had a non-alcoholic maracuja cocktail and the taco combo with beef barbacoa and shrimp. The food was exactly what we were looking for and absolutely delicious. Thank you for such a great experience!

Up front, let's get one thing straight. It's currently billing itself as Tex-Mex. As a Texan, I knew i was setting myself up (German TexMex?), but it was more disappointing than I had expected. It isn't Tex Mex at all. It's a fine meal for half the price, but it's not up to par with the other resort restaurants.
Randall J — Google review
We stayed at the hotel for 1 night and we thought eating Mexican would be the best choice for us. During the day we booked our table for the upcoming night, we arrived at the restaurant at 20:40 and we got a seat next to the entrance of the kitchen, nevertheless all the waiters didn’t seemed to notice all the people that were trying to order or to be served, included us. When we finally had the chance we ordered some drinks and we took Nachos and “Chilli con carne”. the nachos were soggy and in general was really poor ingredients, in general quantity and quality of the food was lacking. The worst indeed was the service of the restaurant, The waiter that served us, a bald mid-age tall man, from the moment we finally got our first interaction till the end of our dinner, was to be the least disrespectful and made us feel not welcome and he was visibly not liking what he was doing. At the moment of the check we ask for a food baggy to bring away the food that remained (we did not wanted to be wasted), the waiter came and slammed the take away bag on the table without caring. We did not have a good time and for us was a waste of money.

Our server was incredibly rude. Reddish hair with a fringe, completely unacceptable - she ruined a great day. Her attitude was horrific and she forgot my meal. She did not check back on our table even though she did the ones next to us then tried to charge us for my meal at the end- perhaps cause we’re English?! She was argumentative when we asked to not charge for the food we did NOT receive and she even sighed when taking our order to begin with. Vile woman ruining what could’ve been a lovely atmosphere at the end of a great day. My partners food was reheated, subpar meal- the only saving grace was the coronas that our waiter slammed on the table. If she is your server, leave before you even sit down.

Extremely Disappointing and Concerning Dining Experience - Our family dined at your restaurant on the 9th of July while staying at the hotel. Our experience was, frankly, the worst we've ever had. From the outset, our waiter, Boris, was hostile and unhelpful. When asking about gluten-free options for our son, who has Celiac Disease, we were curtly told "spaghetti or pizza." While his gluten-free spaghetti was acceptable, the rest of our meals were mediocre at best. Service was incredibly slow; Boris neglected to take drink orders and took an excessive amount of time to clear our table. The most critical issue occurred with dessert. Despite informing Boris about our son's severe gluten allergy, he was served ice cream with Smarties and a wafer containing gluten. My son consumed some before we noticed. When we tried to find Boris, he was nowhere to be seen. Another waiter was apologetic, but Boris never returned to our table to address the mistake or apologize. Waiting over 10 minutes for the bill, I eventually had to seek out Boris myself. He presented it with continued hostility and no apology. We were wrongly charged an extra €1 for "cream" on my son's dessert. When I pointed this out, Boris rudely slapped down €1 in change. The atmosphere turned incredibly uncomfortable as other staff members openly discussed us in a foreign language. The manager eventually came out, apologized, and adjusted our bill. However, my primary concern was not a discount, but to prevent other families with severe allergies from enduring such a dangerous and disrespectful experience. This restaurant clearly has systemic issues, as evidenced by numerous other one-star reviews. I deeply regret not checking them beforehand. The lack of care for a serious allergy is unacceptable, and the overall hostile service made for an abysmal evening.

the vibe at Don Quichotte—m was warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. That part was spot on, and that’s why we stayed hopeful. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to it. The Chips with guacamole & salsa: Barely enough dip for three chips each. We ran out halfway through and left the rest untouched. Both the salsa and guacamole tasted like cheap, store-bought The Cheeseburger: The cheese had zero flavor making the burger bland and disappointing. The Churros: Soggy and undercooked, dripping with oil. Definitely felt half-hearted in execution. Zorro platter (shared): The steak was overcooked—tough and dry—and the shrimp texture was off. Only the pork ribs stood out as decent. Overall, this Tex‑Mex spin felt misaligned and uninspired—more like a theme‑park afterthought than a quality restaurant Great staff, lovely setting—but if you’re going for flavor you may be disappointed.

we only picked this place because we were starving after a day at the park and all the restaurants in town were fully booked for the evening, but I'm so glad we did! the restaurant is gorgeous both inside and in the bodega (where we were seated), the servers very nice, the menu includes classic Spanish dishes with a modern twist (and burgers for those without any culture or class) and our food was delicious. the extensive wine list resembles a high end restaurant rather than an amusement park and the authentic live music and dessert were wonderful. a great place to make you feel like you're in a completely different part of Europe for a couple hours if you're willing to spend a little more money.

Double cheeseburger meal was great actually, brioche bun, lettuce, tomato, gherkins and burger sauce. Good quality for a theme park. However as far as their attempt at English Fish and Chips goes... It's laughable as someone from England. Fries is not chips and fish nuggets is not a proper battered fish, surely it can't be that hard? Food tastes fine though, and it's a good place to stop for lunch.

Plain fast food in the corresponding Take-Away quality. That the veggie burger without any information came with the same tasteless bread as the other burgers was slightly disappointing - the sandwiches on the picture looked more like proper bread.

Day 2

Northeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Rulantica, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Eatrenalin. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Water park
Theme park
Rulantica is a massive indoor water park located in Europa-Park, featuring Scandinavian-style attractions and relaxation areas. The park includes over 30 water slides, wave pools, and various watery fun activities for visitors of all ages. Additionally, the park boasts stunning ice sculptures as part of an exhibition called Rulantica aus Eis, with 30 sculptures made from 100 tons of snow and crystal-clear ice.
This is the best water park undoubtedly across the globe! With so many features, indoors, and a really banging music outside pool for people to party and relax. The slides all have a waiting time. But it all moves quickly. You can easy spend a day there. Must carry tour own towels and soap for quick shower on your way out.
MR C — Google review
The park itself is very beautiful, but the long waiting times (25-40 minutes) do not justify the 5s you spend on the ride. At Europa Park, for example, a waiting time of 20 min is ok, the ride is quite long and full of adrenaline, not the case at Rulantica. My advice, come in the summer for the outdoor pools and rides and leave the big indoor rides for winter time when it's less crowded. Overall a nice experience, a fun day to spend with the family.
Ionut T — Google review
We loved it! Visited as two couples with kids on a rainy weekday, and it was the perfect timing: very few people and almost no waiting for slides. Warm pools let you swim outside and enjoy the fresh air. The DJ with music and giant bubbles was a fun highlight for both kids and adults. Huge variety of slides, nice saunas with rituals, and pool bars. Great service. Highly recommended!
Sergey A — Google review
We had the pleasure of renting a comfort hydda private area for the day. For us this was the best day at Rulantica ever. In between swimming we could relax in a private relaxing booth. We could order food from there, and had our own fridge and safe. Highly recommend the privacy areas.
Andy R — Google review
I had one of the best days of my life in Rulantica! We spent the whole day here and found new things to do all the time. From the different slides, to the party in the out door pool with an amazing dj. We were even surprised when leaving by a light and water show. Highly recommend!
Afsaneh — Google review
The children and adults all had a great time. The venue’s yard was decorated for Halloween, and you could really see the effort that was put into it. Beautiful place
אפרת מ — Google review
It is the most beautiful park I have ever been to. It is so diverse, and there are crowds for some rides, but not all. The theme zones are really small, though, so don't be put off by that. The park itself is amazing, and the food prices are just OK.
Pascal S — Google review
Amazing water park, a great experience for all ages, highly recommended, full of facilities for all ages, an experience, instead of paying 1 euro for a bracelet, there is a locker to store valuables. In addition, at the end there are neat hair salons, everything is clean and tidy, there is a DJ station outside in the pool with music, a real party with a floating water bar with alcohol, simply an experience.

Eatrenalin offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience that combines delicious cocktails, exquisite cuisine, and exclusive live performances. The multidimensional dining adventure provides an unrivaled culinary journey with incredible food and beautifully crafted entertainment. From engineering to design, every aspect of the experience is meticulously curated to create a cohesive and unforgettable evening. Guests are encouraged to arrive on time to fully immerse themselves in the mysterious atmosphere and avoid spoilers.
Very interesting experience! Fine dining meets theme park. Been to numerous Michelin restaurants, so was hesitant between this one and ammolite. But definitely made the right choice. The service in the lounge and bar were great, in the rooms a bit mechanical. I enjoyed the pace, but dor my girlfriend it moved a bit to fast. Expensive but worth it! Foto’s only from the rooms it was allowed.
Tom — Google review
Amazing experience, food was mostly outstanding. Being able to take photos should be allowed in all rooms. And the constant signage asking for tips at the end was very off putting. but all in all, a very well put together experience.
David — Google review
Eatrenalin isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a sensory journey unlike anything else in the world. Yes, you could call it a “haute cuisine roller coaster,” but that hardly does justice to the brilliance of the execution. Seated in comfortable chairs with small tables, you glide smoothly through beautifully designed rooms, each offering a completely different atmosphere. The experience engages all your senses — not only taste, but also sight, sound, smell, and even touch, especially when the seat movement gives you the sensation of floating through space. The way they incorporate scents into the experience was particularly astonishing and left a lasting impression. The food itself is outstanding, with each course carefully crafted and presented at the highest level. The service team is highly professional and friendly, going out of their way to accommodate extra wishes and allergies with care and precision. The only point of criticism is that at the end, guests are quite directly asked for tips. Considering the high price of the experience, I feel this should be handled more discreetly or ideally not be necessary at all — the restaurant should ensure its staff is fairly compensated without relying on tips. Despite that, Eatrenalin fully deserves 5 stars. It’s a groundbreaking and unforgettable experience that I can easily imagine expanding to places like Dubai, Singapore, or Las Vegas in the future. Highly recommended!

It's a great experience, I love how a thrill ride and fine dining experience are put together here for one of the best experiences I had. The food tasted very good and the wines were well paired. The staff completed the whole experience.
Carmina G — Google review
If you have the possibility to eat here, you definitely should. The food is delicious and the 'ride' is just so original and surprising. Will recommend everyone to visit this place! Seemed expensive at first, but it's totally value for money
Phaedra C — Google review
Everything was really nice, the only thing is we had technical problems in two rooms with one room not working at all and staff did continue everything as if everything worked. We didn't even get an excuse, minimum would have been at least a free cocktail at the end but still paid full price for a not full experience unfortunately.
Sascha E — Google review
An other worldly experience. We absolutely enjoyed the experience. The best way to explain eatrenalin is not in terms of the food and drinks but as an extremely creative and technologically sophisticated performance in the presentation of the food. This will definitely pave the way for many more immersive dining experiences. The way all your senses are kept alive throughout the show is very impressive. The food and drinks were very nice especially the beef cheek in the main course and the cheese cake based dessert. The show is entirely in german or French except the final narration which was in English. We do not speak any german or French and still quite liked the show. Hopefully they will soon have a show in English which would be more enjoyable.
J S — Google review
I am utterly disappointed because we had been waiting for this evening and we came for my birthday. Everything went well until we went to this space room and we were shaken a lot before going to another room for dessert where I threw up right away on the newly presented dessert. We pressed the emergency button to find NO ONE coming to us and we had to reach for a door to then run within the kitchen towards the toilet and afterwards we were escorted out through the bar. I wish someone from eatrenaline would approach us because this felt like a waste and they need to fix the whole vibration and shaking experience in between meals. The concept is cool but there are rooms for improvement. It felt like we were rushed to eat and our drinks were taken away before going to the next room even if we haven’t finished so everyone was rushing to eat quickly and then drink quickly. I wish they would give us more time to enjoy especially when it costs €200 for the meal

The attentive staff ensures every detail is perfect, providing just the right amount of service without being intrusive.
We had dinner at the restaurant two days ago. The food was great—especially the steak and mashed potatoes, which were incredible. There was a live band playing, which added to the atmosphere, and the service was excellent. A special shoutout to Yasser, who was super friendly and made our experience even better.
Hadil A — Google review
The food is OK, it's not exceptional but the price are also not too expensive so it's OK. However, we had to wait more that 30min to get the bill. I asked for it at the same time as my dessert, but they didn't bring it. When I wanted to pay, the table next to us also wanted to pay (they were 10 people, we were 3) and the waiter decided to go to them first. They all wanted to pay separately, and it took ages. The waiter came after with just a "sorry" but that's not worth the extra 30min I had to wait to pay. We really enjoyed the music band.

It is a fine dining restaurant, and it is very good. I had scallops, sorbet and a glass of Laurent-Perrier. All were like a poem. The service, the ambiance and the music was all great. I had a very nice dinner experience alone. I thank the restaurant staff for a very pleasing evening.

This was an fabulous experience, prices are higher but more than worth it, employees are sharp, see everything, and when it's not good enough they just send it back before a customer sees it. Very friendly, and most important, the food was delicious 🤤 it's all part of the experience and I will truly not forget this. Thank you all!
Mr S — Google review
The presentation for the food was stunning. The food itself was absolutely delicious. I ordered the 4 course meal, my wife ordered a few appetizer dishes which were equally proportionate to my meal and quite large on their own. They offered to bring her dishes out at the same time I received mine which was wonderful. They have a dedicated kids menu which was also great for two stubborn meat eating boys. Although, I think the kids loved the bread and fish spreads better. Best part, they insisted on eating the greens that came with the spreads when we told them they couldn't have any unless they did. At one point during the meal, my wife took the children to the rest room. The chief noticed and a few minutes later brought over a savory scallop in ginger sauce, it tasted amazing. It was too good to eat alone, I had to wait for my wife so she could try some. Obviously, it was all presented in an equally beautiful seashell sitting on top sea salt. The staff was very friendly and professional, we showed up a little early for our reservation and accommodated us with no issue. They let us pick to either eat on the terrace or indoors. We chose to eat outside but it was a little windy, and so we asked if we could move back indoors. No problem! You should consider making a reservation if you're in the area. Absolutely worth it and very reasonably priced.
Nick T — Google review
Food is way too overpriced for what you get. The steak was dry and i asked for medium and they gave me well done. I was with my family and the bill was like 460€ and we were super disappointed in the food and they got some orders wrong. We got some free icecream from the staff as a sorry but still we were very upset
Jennifer L — Google review
The breakfast is very varied, lots of choice. The dinner was delicious but the wines served alongside it were so bland it was a big disappointment (except for the wine from Baden-Württemberg that was served for desert, which was good).

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience at Europapark, look no further than Restaurant Harborside. This gem offers an impressive buffet that caters to all ages, featuring a wide variety of delicious dishes that are frequently replenished. The kids will love the high-quality burger on the menu, which is both budget-friendly and satisfying for smaller appetites.
Good value buffet, considering the quality of the food. It gets busy quick, so ensure you have a reservation to save a long wait for a table. There's two choices here: buffer or a la carte. Try and get a table outside, so that you can enjoy the fountain show. It runs every 30 minutes, although times vary according to season. Drinks are not included in the cover price for the buffet. Many of the drinks are very small and very expensive. Take your own. There's a live ensemble, playing a variety of music.
Lee M — Google review
Very kind service and the food was ok, a little bit expensive. Halibut seems fresh but overcooked, at least 10 minutes more that necessary Beautiful place looking at the harbor
Meritxell L — Google review

Christian N — Google review
the food was really super tasty. it was a very nice buffet. Furthermore, there was plenty of choice and if something was finished, it was quickly replenished. Only the children were very noisy in the play corner and we could not eat so quietly. this was a little less otherwise everything was to your liking.
Jeffrey B — Google review
Bad practice of charging exuberant prices on drinks without warning guests. 7.30 EUR for a 70dl bottle of still water (10 EUR per litter of water) is ridiculous. And you only get to know when you get the bill, as drinks are not included. At lest have the decency to let customers know on advance, they don't let you know, seems like trying to cheat you. Waitress was very rude (we saw another one that was nice, but we had bad luck with ours).
P H — Google review
Good buffet with a decent price. A nice wine selection with many price options too. Usually the only problem is to get a good service, most of the waiters are only interested to give you the bill and check the tip. Good idea to book in advance.
Jose N — Google review
The food was very good (but one can expect that for the price they charge). The service however was very disappointing: when our waitress threw a full cup of hot pepper sauce on the lap of two persons, leaving a big stain on our clothing, the only thing she did was apologize, call a colleague to clean things up (a little bit) and tell us that we could report it at the hotel reception to get a refund for the cleaning of our clothes. She didn’t offer us a cup of coffee or anything else to compensate! Not very professional...
Senna H — Google review
The burger on the kids menu is high quality and a better price efficiency than the rest of the menu. If you are a big eater get something of the main menu. But for a person on a smaller budget and a smaller apatite it is high quality and it's cheaper to get two burgers for the price of one for the main menu.

I was there year ago and had a chance to eat here again this year - back then and now I can definitely recommend it!😊 I eat beef stake and mix of different meats (beef, pork, turkey, lamb) - both were prepared extraordinary, perfectly roasted with a nice addition of souse and vegetables. On top of that very good beer and service that is really concerned about the guests. It is definitely a great place to eat with family and friends!😊

We had to wait more than 1 hour. When we arrived, we were placed in an additional room that they opened as the main restaurant was full. 30 other people, many with kids, were placed in this extra room, and all tables had to wait more than one hour to get food. Nothing was mentioned about the waiting time when we arrived, and the staff was not able to give any timelines when we asked after 40 min of waiting. Food was ok, typical German food, but nothing special. Payment was cash only, because the machine was broken... I don't recommend this place, many other options are available in the immediate surroundings.

Dined on a Sunday evening after a long drive. The place got recommended by our hotel host. Long waiting times, and afterwards got seated inside. We were too tired to complain because there were 2 tables available outside. Before being seated, we were warned that the food could be served after about 40 minutes. According to other reviews here, the food is worth the wait. Well not in our case. The home-made liver meatball was on its own not so tasty, but together with the salty broth it was ok. The big pan with steak and chicken filet in sauce was also just ok. Together with the pan-fried potatoes it all became a salty and greasy dish. The schnitzell was just bland and needed the salty sauce. Overall not really worth the wait, it was just ok. The portions are huge.

No trip to Europa-Park is complete without stopping by here. It's been a regular part of our visits for years. Great atmosphere, tasty food, and a lovely biergarten. We've never had a bad experience. If you're looking for a nice spot with good food and drinks, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Moana E — Google review
We came several times before covid times and kept amazing memories. Not this time. We paid 56 euros in two, including 28 euros for a small cordon bleu that was small and nothing special and not as big and tasty as we remembered. The supposedly traditional Spaetzle were the worst we've ever had, dry and unseasoned. Quantities are severely reduced, zero effort on presentation, and grossly overpriced. Somehow in 2024 they still only take cash, but tell you as you ask for the bill... The waiting was over an hour but this can be escused given how many tables they served at the same time. The first room when you enter has good traditional decorations. But the place is so packed that you can go in rooms behind the kitchen. You'll have to cross the kitchen to reach them. They look awful. Don't trust the good ratings, this is not the same place. Don't be mistaken by the queue outside either.

Stoped two times, once for breakfast and once for takeway pastry. Not much to say. Decent place but they could try to be more open to foreignera who don’t speak german. Tried in french and english but they didnt make an effort to comunicate. The products are averge quality (sweets are sweet and good looking but that is average in my opinion). Breakfast is a joke. Coffee is bellow average..same as in most places of this tipe. Only advantage is they open early morning and is the only place with something close to breakfast in the area. Won’t come back the third time.

This is a small local bakery and coffee shop close to the entrance to EuropaPark. We stopped there for a coffee and snack on our last morning after checking out. The first thing to note is that English is not spoken, and credit cards are not accepted – only cash. We were prepared for that and we enjoyed a nice coffee and some tasty pastries. The hot chocolate was a bit strange, but the coffee was great. They do excellent value set breakfast options, and also sell fresh bread and Christmas fancy goods. Its very much a local German experience, and all the better for it.

Nice, seemingly family-run business with GREAT pizza. Very relaxed atmosphere with 'self-service', i.e. ordering at the bar.

I recently ordered a pizza from this pizzeria and was extremely disappointed. Based on the images on Google, I was expecting a Neapolitan-style pizza with a nice, fluffy crust, delicious-looking mozzarella, and fresh basil. However, the reality was far from it. The pizza I received had a terrible taste, with the crust being particularly bad. The mozzarella was awful and lacked any semblance of quality. There was no fresh basil to be found anywhere on the pizza. This was one of the worst pizzas I have had in recent years. I would never order from this place again.
Jindrich H — Google review
Gelato had a weird taste. Probably a hyper-refined frozen imitation version of Gelato. Got a Margherita, mushroom/bacon, and pepperoni. Dough under cooked and raw. Everything had a weird salty/bitter flavor to it. Mushrooms were canned and rancid. The cheese looked like it had been microwaved.

Amusement park ride
Small World is a charming ride designed for young children, featuring delightful scenes throughout the journey. The attraction offers a nostalgic look at how the train used to appear, making it an enjoyable experience for both kids and adults alike.
I thought it was truly fantastic. I thought it was very beautiful and felt nostalgic. Super fun. I've been there twice and it was definitely worth it!
JonneDi — Google review
When you call something “piccolo mondo”, even when it’s in the Italian section of the park, I expect to see more than Italy. Not to mention that the bears and other things randomly hanging around in the attraction are just weird. The rides are uncomfortable, so it’s a good thing it doesn’t last too long.
Joost V — Google review
Good for small children but it's extremely short...
Alexandre B — Google review
Good for children. Nice Italian themes but a bit dated and non exciting.
Monica R — Google review
(Translated by Google) I have already ridden the train in the old and new design. It's easy to overlook small tracks like this, but you should try everything at least once, unless it doesn't do you any good. Many children are particularly impressed by something like this afterwards.

(Translated by Google) A short family ride that's starting to show its age. The attraction has an old-fashioned charm, but not necessarily in a good way: the scenery is colorful but a bit static, and above all, the train looks really old, which breaks the immersion a bit. It's clearly an attraction designed for children, with a slow pace and no surprises. For an adult or someone familiar with modern dark rides, it might seem very dull. It's worth doing once if you have free time or to accompany younger visitors, but it's not a priority in such a rich park. In terms of atmosphere, it lacks a bit of dynamism and renewal. Some scenes are cute, but others seem empty or dated. You can sense the potential, but it could do with a serious overhaul. In summary: Piccolo Mondo is a quiet attraction, not unpleasant, but clearly at the end of its cycle (I'm mainly talking about the trains). A renovation would be welcome, if only to modernize the vehicles and breathe some life into the scenery. Nice for little ones… but not necessary for others.

Hardys Bar and Restaurant, nestled within the Rebstock Hotel, is a delightful eatery that offers a diverse menu featuring both local and international dishes. From juicy burgers to tender ribs, hearty pasta, and succulent steaks, there's something for everyone to enjoy. While some guests have noted longer wait times for seating and food service, many agree that the experience is well worth it. The burgers are particularly praised as some of the best around!
Had the Hardy burger with the volcano chips, those were the most delicious chips I’ve eaten throughout Europe. The burger may look plain but it also had a lot of flavour. The staff are super friendly and nice :) great food and service overall…

European atmosphere, with excellent service. Lots of drinks. Burgers, grilled prawns, grilled chicken were good. The standout was the lava cake. Not to be missed.

This was our first time visiting Hardy’s Bar and Restaurant, and we will definitely be coming back again without hesitation! The service was absolutely excellent from start to finish. The lady who welcomed us and showed us to our table was so kind and friendly, which set the perfect tone for the evening. Our server, Heinrich, was outstanding – truly a perfect server! He gave us great advice, was always smiling, and made our experience even better. The food was incredible – we had the shrimp and the ribs, both were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. We loved everything about our visit and can’t wait to come back to try more dishes from the menu. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended and we would definitely eat here again!

A very nice pizza. Beer was delicious. Loved it. My only qualm was that maybe they had too many customers for the amount of staff. The only waiting staff was rushed trying to take payments

Great pizza, we tried there for three days, we tried different pizzas and all taste very good, great dough. The place look simple but the food surpasses the looks. Great prices!!

The pizzas are really good and the food was served fast. It’s really busy in the evening, but worth waiting. It’s a good value for what you will pay :)

The food was really fat, the pizzas were shining from fat, the fries and schnitzel as well. In a way that is not usual with good rest. The service was also really bad, we were sit in a corner place, the waitress barely came, after taking our plates, we waited 10 minutes hoping to get the menu for desserts, but we did not saw any waiters, no one came, eventually we didn’t took it, we left with a bad feeling about this place.

The service here is amazing. Even when we were visiting during a super busy time, with all the tables filled, (and when they only had 2 waiters equiped for the whole place), they still managed to provide excellent service and remained calm. The food was delivered on time and was delicious, we all finished our plates with ease. Personally I would recommend the Pizza Toscana or if you like pasta more: the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio (the best I've ever had), their Flammenkuchen are amazing too if you are more a fan of the local tradition, PLUS they aren't expensive at ALL! The restaurant itself is also really cozy with their greenhouse terrace and wooden interior, perfect for family diners.

The Restaurant Medici at the Europapark offers great service and exquisite food. It is a must-go for anyone visiting the park. The menu features interesting choices that will excite even the most discerning palate.
If you're looking for perfect end of the day and good dinner after Europa park, this is best you can wish for. Everybody was super friendly, our table at the lake looked like from fairytale and the food was the best we've ever had. Matuš( our weiter) was very nice, even brought dessert for my boyfriends birthday.
Slavomíra K — Google review
A wonderful end to our visit at Europa Park - but the menu could do with some work. We ordered the veal chop which was rather dear with confidence it would be very good and cooked to perfection - it was instead EXTREMELY large. Twice the size it had any reasonable need to be, with the rest of the plate contents shrunk to fit. Tomahawk scale. Could easily have been shared between two, could not be finished even by very piggy and hungry grown men (two of us tried) rendering it inevitably poor value - and at such thickness and with such a long eat inevitably not right despite being on the bone. There was no hint of size on the menu, other than the price in the end. A little restraint from the kitchen side could have made this much better, which is a shame as it was otherwise excellent.
Iain M — Google review
Our third visit to Medici within 2 years and probably the last. Food and atmosphere are mostly great but the service.. not so much. Seems like nobody speaks English, which made the ordering and overall operations a bit complicated, especially when our waitress didn’t know anything about well-done, medium and medium-well for steak preparation. Taking the prices into account, the service is way behind. We’ll go to Bell Rock next year, hopefully the level of service is still the same.

Nice secluded and calm space as part of the restaurant Cäsar. Food was ok. Presentation could be improved for the 18EUR Mozzarella Salad, other food was fine. We had to queue quite long to get seated. Once outside and once inside. So overall nothing overwhelming.

The service was great. The waiters know there craft. The food was made to perfection. If you stay at one of the resorts, I highly recomend this restaurant. The menu is really special, with very interesting choices.

Last Friday we had dinner at the Medici restaurant where we ordered a 4 course menu a la carte. The quality of the Food is very good. Service very dissapointing and that doesnt feel right when you have spent 200 euro with 2 persons. This is not on the waiter, he tried his best. He just had too many tables. Few examples of what went wrong: - we already got our first course while we didnt finished our aperitif yet and where waiting on our wine to arrive - the bottle of wine we ordered took very long, you order it to drink it together with the food. - our second course was served twice… - when our main course arrived our table was full with empty glasses, side plates and bread which was only removed when we asked ourselves. Table was simply too full…. Overall waiter apologized 4 times, we continiously had to wait too long. We hoped it was an incident, so the day after we went to Captains Finest where we unfortunately had the same experience. Europapark, please improve, its unacceptable and not the value for money you expect. We love Europark and the Bell Rock hotel, but we wont eat here next time.

Restaurant
Silver Lake Saloon is a restaurant in Europa-Park that serves up American-style barbecue and large portions of grilled steak. It is a traditional setting reminiscent of America's Wild West, and visitors should have breakfast here to have enough energy for all the rides and shows they'll be trying out at the park.
I think Europapark is one of the best parks in Europe. We have a camper, so we stay on the campground. We always book for a meal at Silver Lake Saloon. I’m a pescatarian so have the choice of the ‘Green Force Burger’ or the salmon steak. I always choose the burger, which is very nice, but tonight I chose the salmon. From the first bite, I was in heaven! It came with lightly roasted vegetables and a baked potato with sour cream. To accompany the salmon, there was a lovely rich sauce. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned, a nice portion size. As always, the Germans do baked potatoes perfectly. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a light crust, every mouthful was tasty, succulent and rich. Our waiter was attentive, quick and happy to help us. We recommend you book online before coming because it can be very busy at peak times. 💯 recommend you come to this restaurant.

I went back this summer and unfortunately this time was not good as when I visited a year ago. Food was not good at all, and when I complained to the owner, he just tried to justify me (instead to try to enhance his service) he told that we don't cook (Burger) well unless if you said and when I told him about the poteto fries why it's just crames? He said the fries comes like that. I put some photos to let you see and below you can see my old review. "I think this is one from the best resturant at near the Europa Park. Delicious food, great staff and good atmosphere. I highly recommend it"

Tasty food but incredibly slow service that ruins all the positive experience one gets after visiting Europa Park. We waited more than 1 hour for basic meals like burgers and ribs. Food was tasty but quite economical for the price. Avoid this place!

Great ribs 9/10 (and I set the bar pretty high for ribs) and pulled pork 8/10. Staff didn't speak English which is fine but feels weird in an American restaurant. Could be more long drinks on the menu but lots of good beers wine etc. Food and atmosphere surprisingly good. Totally enjoyed this place on the whole and recommend if you're staying here.

Great service, great food so fantastic evening! Definitely try the ribs, the literally fall of the bone! Their breakfast buffet is a must before entering the park! A lot of choices and saves you money for food in the park 😉

I visited off season with a group of friends for the all you can eat ribs. I was sceptical at first as they brought a large pan full of ribs and dip and fries. But they filled it up and even offered to bring more hours after we were finished because we might have some space for it now. Entertainment was an absolute riot. I think it wasn’t the usual act because it was off season, but it absolutely fit to the theme and made for a great atmosphere.

Bar El Circo is listed among the top 500 bars in Germany and presents itself as a combination of a circus and a bar. Once inside, patrons are transported into the atmosphere of a lively circus. The indoor décor is beautifully designed, creating an enjoyable experience for guests. While it has outdoor seating available for warmer weather, there are fewer tables outside than nearby restaurants at Colosso Hotel.
Was initially disappointed the lookout bar on the top floor was shut so tried the El Circo bar. Glad we did, great drinks and food in a wonderful setting

We really fell in love with suite 5112, which overlooks the reception and has a balcony. On the other hand, at the SPA they are really unpleasant. The next day we went to the Bell Rock one and nothing to see! The problem at Europa-Park may be depending on who you encounter... And that for all experiences when you are French... there are some who are very nice and others who clearly don't appreciate us and make us feel it .. Hence these mixed feelings. I am modifying following my visit on Thursday, if we are not German or Swiss or very rich French.. We are not in our place and even if we saved to come.. A big contempt of the guest service behind.. who decides to to no longer respond.. I have never been able to have a person to discuss concerns encountered in person directly.. We feel treated like dirt and yet I have always remained polite.. And my misadventures are understood.. The minimum is not there.. Worse we are made to understand that we are no longer welcome if not happy.. I have never seen that and been confronted with that.. 1500€ in two days..pay and shut up! If you're seeking a relaxed atmosphere to unwind with friends over a bottle of your choice, Bar Colosseo on the fifth floor of Hotel Colosseo is definitely worth a visit. This cozy bar offers an extensive and diverse selection of beverages from around the world, including Aperol, Grappa, and vodka. Additionally, Bar Colosseo occasionally features live music or shows for entertainment purposes.
Magnificent place. Beautiful lighting set up outside. Lots of individual points of attention to detail. Americana memorabilia. Quite popular. Go early to guarantee a seat. My only gripe...the live entertainment of the night was trying to be funny, and over did it. He also tried to make every cover song his own, and not very well. He killed the songs, some of which were my favorites. 😕 When he sang normally, or played his guitar or violin however, he was excellent.

Sala Santa Isabel is a charming buffet restaurant located in the Europa-Park Resort. It offers a delightful selection of seafood, refreshing salads, and live-grilled meats cooked right in front of you. The friendly staff goes above and beyond to accommodate special requests, ensuring a great dining experience. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere includes a tiny inner yard for smokers and occasional live music performances that add to the entertainment.
Lovely little buffet restaurant. Buffet with nice seafood refreshing salads. And an awesome grill with a person cooking the meat right in front of you. Great selection of meat. Nice desserts and ice cream. We made a super last minute reservation and we were treated very nicely by a wonderful lady. There is a tiny inner yard that we sat right next to one of the doors of it, super convenient for us smokers. Few musicians popped up and sang 1-2 songs, our daughter loved it and we were very entertained. Would love to have dinner there again!

Personnel is not up to the task, and Restaurant Management is leaving them completely alone in misery. In fact management is actively avoiding guest contact. Live cooking is especially bad as it is not organized at all. With just a few basic organizational efforts this could be great again.
Daniel R — Google review

Tom B — Google review
Ok-ish food but really bad service and overall organization. Recommendation: DON'T GO HERE! We went here to have an enjoyable evening with a nice dinner. Nearly all reviews indicated that this would be the case. But it was far less than acceptable. It was an awful experience. The buffet is the worst. It is not a buffet at all actually. You have to wait at least 30 minutes in line to order your main course, wait 10 more minutes in an extra line to receive it. The single cook is too overwhelmed and by the time you get your food it will be cold. Next to that it is only decent in quality. In this "restaurant" you have to wait in line (not at all Corona proof) in order to order your food at the cooking station whereas a better option would be to tell the waiter what you want and wait while enjoying your wine. The concept makes no sense! After complaining to the manager about this awful service/organization she was not at all apologetic and started arguing. In the end she agreed to reduce the price under obvious protest. This was for sure the first and last visit and we would recommend to enjoy an amazing dinner with great service and organization at the Captain's Finest restaurant

Great place for having dinner. Wide selection of tapas and starters and also very good selection of meat and side dishes. It is one of the pricier restaurant of the Europa-Park but it is absolutely worth it and also one of the smaller and thus quieter places for dinner and for breakfast.

Hotel
Nestled between the Black Forest and Rhine Plain, 4-Star Hotel "El Andaluz" is a Spanish-themed resort located in Europa-Park Rust near Freiburg. The hotel boasts an outdoor pool, spa facilities, and a grand foyer adorned with elegant chandeliers and Mediterranean mosaics. Guests can enjoy character breakfasts for kids and unwind at El Circo Bar. Accommodation options cater to families with cozy beds including bunk beds in a closet.
We had a room on the ground floor with double doors so noise was not an issue. The room had two double beds which were comfortable but will soon need new mattresses. Bathroom and the room itself were very clean. Enough electricity outlets were available as well. The shower had good pressure and nicely hot water. To me the hotel looked much nicer from the inside than the outside. The decorations were beautiful and we specifically liked the attention to detail regarding plants, flower pots, the water ways, etc. The pool of the hotel is not heated so we went to one of the other hotels directly connected from the inside. The pool was nice, clean, and the showers hot. We could watch one of the Europapark attractions thunder by as we soaked. The hotel is very well located right next to the dedicated entrance for hotel guests. Even though it says that the park opens at 9am for hotel guests you can actually get inside even earlier and walk to the first attractions you want to try. Restaurants: we tried the a la carte Don Quixote restaurant in the hotel itself. Food was good but not outstanding. I was missing a salad main dish. There are, however, vegan and vegetarian options and a kids menu as well that had the usual suspects (spaghetti, chicken nuggets and fries and a burger). You can find the menu online. The breakfast buffet on the other hand, in the same restaurant, was outstanding. Overall, we had a very nice stay and the hotel staff was also very friendly.
Petra N — Google review
Quite old hotel room feeling, but still charming. I removed 2 stars for the room as the noise cancelation is almost not there. The rest is correct. We didn't like that the door close to the entry of Europapark is actually Closed when we finished the breakfast and wanting to go to enter the park, and we ended up losing few minutes to enter the park, which is quite frustrating.
Lee F — Google review
Very nice decorated and hi-tech service. The room is amazing, but a fridge could be a very nice addition. Next to the VIP entrance. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was rich and tasty, but dinner is a bit overrated.
Natalia K — Google review
This hotel is starting to feel a bit older compared to the other Europapark resort hotels, and it shows in some details. That said, it remains a beautifully themed and fantastic place to stay. We were lucky enough to book the suite on the top floor, which had everything we needed — including a bath and a stocked mini fridge. Definitely recommended.
Steven B — Google review
really beautifully executed theme hotel. great vibe and the best pancakes and hush browns at the morning buffet i ever had. in general a big variety at the morning buffet, from sweet to savoury, everything you could wish for. all the hotels at the europapark are great in their own way but this one has to be one of my favourites.
Just U — Google review
Nice overall but a bit overpriced due to being in Europa park. Unfortunately we didn't benefit from the early entry to the park as our children got up late. Breakfast is great with wide range of selection
Monica R — Google review
We didn't like, all the other hotels in Europa Park are much better. The floor room was dirty, and the personnel not very helpful. Also the restaurant Don Quichotte is very low level compared to the rest of the resort, but the prices are high!!! Worst experience in many years.
Antenore G — Google review
The room is definitely overpriced as a hotel room, it's very nice but nothing crazy, what you pay a premium on is the location and services which are excellent, you're right next ti tye park entrance, the early admission meant I got loads of rides in very early and then when you're leaving the bus stop is just outside the hotel door.

Restaurant
Pizzeria "La Romantica" is a charming dining spot located just outside the park. The restaurant offers a magical experience, being part of the park itself. With two restaurants and a bar, it provides ample dining options for visitors. The early arrival ensures avoiding crowds and allows for a delightful dining experience. The menu features an array of delectable pizzas and salads, with highlights including the margarita pizza and veggie pizza, both receiving top marks from patrons.
The only restaurant at the Europapark-resort where you don't need a reservation. Evidently, you might have to wait sometimes for a table to free up. But the staff works as quickly as possible to make this happen, while they have to avoid frustrating the guests that are already in. The food is great, the setting is idyllic and we love it! Please don't change the formula, it works!

We went there after spending the day at Rulantika and it was an error. Huge line. Our kids were tired. There were not many other options to go in the area… The food was ok, the service was goods and the restaurant was cute but the line killed the experience. I would recommend reserving a table in advance before heading there to eat.
Ed B — Google review
We received a table quite quickly a very nice cleaned one with such a beautiful view. Unfortunately I was shocked there wasn’t as many waitresses. The meal and drinks were great and lovely tasted. But the waiter ended up getting mixed up to the table and accidentally tried serving our meal on two other tables wrong before realising it was ours. It was still a beautiful view and everything but needs more staff I think.

Do not reccomend at all, especially when you are in a rush. It took 2 HOURS for our food to arrive. We ordered 2 pastas and a margarita pizza. They told us "you're order card got lost in the kitchen". When the pizza came out, it was stone cold. Our pasta tasted alright but still cold. We ended up taking the replacement pizza to our room. At least they made our food free, just had to pay for drinks. The drinks were the best part of the meal and all I had was water. I hope I never come here again. Disgraceful.

They serve a decent pizza here as well as a few other basic Italian dishes. The problem is that this place is notoriously overcrowded and securing a table after a long day in the park can be pretty challenging, to put it lightly... For so many rooms in all of the hotels there has always been not enough basic comfort food restaurants for families.

## Food ## - margarita pizza 10/10: uses fresh tomato sauce - veggie pizza 10/10: it even includes mushrooms and spinach! - pesto pasta 5/10: has no taste and sauce feels dry - Gamborini pasta 10/10: full of tomato sauce and cheese - Drinks all in glass, it makes a difference for me somehow more delicious 😋 ## Service ## our waitress, Leila, was extra nice and very understanding ## Atmosphere ## Indoor area with glass roof top 👍🏼 very romantic 🤍

Restaurant
Ammolite - The Lighthouse Restaurant is a stylish and unique dining destination located within the Bell Rock 4-star Superior Hotel. This restaurant has been awarded two Michelin stars for its exceptional concept and consistently high-quality cuisine led by Chef Peter Hagen-Wiest and his team. The restaurant's origins date back to the opening of the hotel, where it quickly gained recognition in the Michelin Guide, earning its first star in 2014 and a second star just a year later.
Ammolite has been on my ‘need to visit’ list since I last stayed at Europa Park in Hotel Bell Rock back in 2017, so for our visit in December 2022 - we decided to treat ourselves and booked a table. From the moment you walk through the door and are greeted by the friendly service team, you know you’re going to be in good hands. The restaurant itself is beautifully opulent, representative of the experience you’re about to undertake. Once you’ve taken your seat, the experience begins, with the arrival of some beautifully presented Amuse Bouche as you peruse their impressive wine menu. After we had selected our wine and the menu we were going to have, it’s essentially an assault of tastes for the next 3 hours. I lost count of the delicious courses we were expertly served. Some of the highlights for me personally were the incredible Cod dish and the Wagyu Beef, they absolutely sensational. Even the bread was an impressive experience in itself, and it wasn’t just food, it was theatre. The service is without a doubt some of the best I’ve ever experienced, and all the team were clearly passionate about giving the best possible experience - and that they certainly did. They were a well-oiled machine that delivered perfect service, expertly. There is no denying that this is not a cheap experience, but I would say it is worth the money. The passion, skill and imagination that has gone into this incredible culinary adventure has to be experienced personally to fully appreciate it - as no review will ever do it justice.

First experience as a two star restaurant, which was overall very good - although not necessarily better than experiences at one stars. The ambiance is very intimate, lights are slightly dim, there aren’t too many tables inside, and seats are very comfy - I really enjoyed sitting next to my partner rather than standard in front. Food was very good - and the quality was amazing. The fish and meat were cooked to perfection. The veal was very tender. Surprisingly for me, what sticked the most was the pre-dessert made of carrot. Really good! Although the chef (I guess the main one) had the extra care to bring a small pastry for a particular event we were celebrating (it was a a very nice surprise) overall I felt that not all the staff was prepared at the same level. Nearly all were friendly - with some being more experienced than others. I guess considering the two stars I was expecting a bit more. Not really just a short description of what I see in the plate (very very concise) but some facts around the construction/idea/story behind a plate. I didn’t see that coming - but I noticed that the same dishes were described more thoroughly on the table next by occasionally. In addition, I asked for English speaking description to a staff member - which forgot, and I also had to remind her about my glass of wine. This is not a big issue of course because the food was great and service was overall friendly - but I asked myself if the staff was still learning? Still a very good experience and the extra care of the main chef was just nice to receive.

Both food and table service could not have been better. We enjoyed every minute. The sommelier service was lacking though. We ordered varying wines with an idea to match the dishes and unfortunately the selection suggested was just so-so. We were not asked about our wine preferences and not have been offered trying wines before ordering. As a result some of the selections were huge misses. It's also not explained how a particular wine complements a specific dish and why it was suggested - e.g. was it meant a contrast, to underline a specific flavor or maybe as a mere background. We were left to guess and wondered if it was just random. It sure felt like it. Better arrive hungry, there is really a LOT of food to enjoy, portions are small but not tiny and all these dishes add up quickly 😊

We had the tasting menu. Being located in a theme park we weren't sure what to expect, but the food was amazing. Also the accompanying wines were some of the best I've ever had. If you have the opportunity to go, then do. You won't be disappointed.

I had “around the world”, the appetizers and the first dish were very pleasant. However, the second and the third dishes were way too salty, were just going downhills. Deserts were fine. The overall experience was just confusing. Quite a “surprise” for a 2-star Michelin.

Visited on 08.16 - Two Michelin Stars Nice and modern place in a surreal surroundings made of fake scenery from Europapark. The dishes are amazing, perfectly executed and plated. Nothing super innovative or gimmicky but everything very consistent to the smallest detail. The service although very competent and kind, sometimes exceeded a bit in formalities and forced smiles. Overall a great dinner and amazing food.
