Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
Toro Verde Adventure Park, located in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, is an adrenaline-seeker's paradise. The park boasts the longest zipline in America, 'The Monster,' which spans over 1.5 miles and reaches speeds of up to 95mph. Additionally, visitors can experience 'The Beast,' one of the world's longest single-run ziplines at 4,745 feet.
My wife and I visited Toro Verde in Puerto Rico and purchased the couples package — and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, safe, and full of excitement. The ziplining was absolutely thrilling, and the views were out of this world. What really surprised us was how amazing the food was — delicious, fresh, and the perfect way to end an adventurous day. The staff was friendly and made us feel comfortable the entire time. If you’re looking for a mix of adrenaline, beauty, and quality time with a loved one, Toro Verde is a must-visit !

Ziplining was one of the best experiences ever! The views were incredible, and the overall adventure was unforgettable. While the food on-site was pricey, we received a $25 discount with our tickets, which helped. Getting there from San Juan involves a long, winding drive, so be prepared-it's definitely a full-day trip. There isn't much else to do in the area, so it's more of a one-and-done experience. Still, I'd absolutely go again! Just make sure to plan your day around it.
Heaman D — Google review
I had an amazing time at Toro Verde Zipline park in Puerto Rico. This was my second time and I got that couples package with my Wife We were able to do all the zip lines and the monster. It was such a fun and exhilarating experience with amazing views. It also included the restaurant which had great food. I highly recommend this Zipline park for adrenaline lovers.
Geraldo P — Google review
I went here to celebrate my birthday and do el monstro zip line. The longest fastest zip line in the world! What an amazing and beautiful experience. This was the fist time I’d zip lined in the Superman position but seeing the beauty beneath you makes the ride beautiful and worth it! This made me appreciate nature and the world! You have to do it to understand. I want to go back once I return to PR! The ride up there is also beautiful you will pass a few waterfalls on the way up take your time and have your camera ready!
Sade R — Google review
This was one of the most recommended places to go while visiting for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! We did the Zipline tour and also the Monster. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The entire experience was amazing and the tour guides were humorous, friendly, encouraging, and kind which made the experience even better. The road to get there is quite curvy if you’re prone to motion sickness but the zip-lining itself didn’t affect that for me at all. For the monster, the scariest part is getting into a plank position and lifting your arms. After that, it’s easy. Totally worth it! 9/18/25 Zipline- Angelica, Isaac, Eric 12pm Tour Tour guides were amazing, especially Angelica!
Asia B — Google review
ToroVerde was awesome!! What a real zip line experience is supposed to be like. We had fun going thru all 8 ziplines including The Monstrou! I purchased our package deal thru our hotel stay for an affordable price which included transportation to & from the park. Our driver was Jerry Laguna & he was the best!! He was so helpful & very wise to the history of San Juan & the island of PR. All the ziplines were so fun & the staff there are very professional. Everyone is knowledgeable to attention to detail. Our guides on 10/30 were Julio & Angelica. They made us feel comfortable every step of the way. When we were finished we had a lunch waiting for us & our bus was ready to return us to our hotel. We visited the novelty shop w/reasonably priced items. This was a def must see & explore moment. I’ll recommend all my friends to give Toro Verde & The Monster a Go!!
Santos — Google review
AMAZING!!!! Cannot believe it’s not talked about enough. Claudia & Christian service just added to the experience for the seven zip lines. Made us laugh & confident the whole tour, added music & were super friendly the whole time. Felt like I was in a private tour because it was very slow so we were just 4 people. Guess we might’ve gotten lucky with that, so might not be the same for everybody. But worth every single CENT! Paid $115 per person for all you can do & wow an experience u HAVE to do if u come to Puerto Rico.

Toro Verde Adventure Park in Puerto Rico is an exhilarating experience! Be sure to buy your tickets online for a smooth entry. The park offers convenient transportation to the various zip lines, making it easy to get around. Safety is clearly a priority here, as the staff is well-trained and ensures that all equipment is secure. The views from the zip lines are breathtaking, and the thrill of soaring through the treetops is unforgettable.

Experience the thrill of ziplining at Toro Verde Park in Puerto Rico, conveniently accessible from San Juan with transportation provided. The park is a couple of hours outside of the city and can be reached easily even without renting a car. The tour includes a pleasant bus driver/guide who ensures a safe journey to the park. Once there, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy 8 exhilarating zipline runs with spectacular views. Additionally, you can witness others taking on the thrilling Monster run.
We did the ‘regular’ zip lines and had a lot of fun! There were 8 runs and the views were spectacular. We also watched several people do the ‘Monster’ run and it looked wild! Also the drive up the mountain was scenic and fun!
Joel G — Google review
Best/only way to experience Toro Verde Park from San Juan with transportation. Park is a couple hours outside of San Juan and if you don't rent a car, there's no way there. Tour went well - the bus driver/guide was pleasant enough and got us to the park safely. The park itself isn't really a tour, it's more like you've paid for transportation to the park and for the tickets for the ziplines which worked perfectly for us. The bus doesn't play around with people not being at their designated spot on time - be there or you'll be left. Toro Verde is amazing and the ziplines are beautiful. Lots of places to sit and relax if you're not into Ziplining.
Brandy M — Google review
Do not recommend. Worst experience ever. This place is not well managed, we made a reservation for 12:00 PM, however no one show up until 1:00PM. After tour guide showed up, we were told that we need to wait at least one more hour, and there is no guarantee. Also they do not have enough equipment to be able to take the ride, the reservation means nothing. After we got to the departure station, people there said all of them are waiting for more than an hour. So including driving, we wasted at least 5 hours.

Vagoneando is a popular spot with a great atmosphere and good service. The place offers cold beers, clean bathrooms, and ample parking space. Visitors can enjoy live music and a wide selection of beers while indulging in mouthwatering dishes like mofongo and baby back ribs.
We headed out here after Toro Verde, we ordered cheese pizza and a Heineken, Moscu fresh ginger and an old fashion. Over it was pretty decent the staff is friendly.

Roka Dura is one of the 16 restaurants along a scenic route, offering a laid-back atmosphere and outdoor seating with nice views. It's recommended as a great place to eat after visiting Toro Verde Park for zip lining. The restaurant has ample parking and features a boating theme with a yacht serving beer at the front. Visitors can enjoy generous portions of dishes like Mofongo with Snapper and Shrimp while taking in the spectacular views.
Maria our server was extremely helpful with the menu. She explain and recommended great items. The service was a 10 stars. The mojitos coconut and passion fruit were amazing delicious. Definitely recommended.

Great food! They got a giant pilon full of mofongo. They got two parking lots. If you are going south is the first right entrance when you see the restaurant. Beautiful view!
EL P — Google review
The views were breathtaking. Cool wind up here in the mountains feels nice. The food was not that great to be honest. The chicken and steak had no taste, no flavor and I would not return here again unfortunately. The service was amazing. The staff were very attentive but the food was not tasteful.
Wael G — Google review
This is a great place to go eat after zip lining at Toro Verde Park. The views are nice from the restaurant deck. Food: The food was decent! We tried the sampler platter, the steak, the salmon, and the grilled chicken with tostones. Overall, the food took a while to come out (they’re on island time) but it was good. Atmosphere: This is a laid back restaurant with outdoor seating. Price: Everything was normal price here. Parking: Ample parking spaces at the top, near the restaurant.

We had a wonderful time here! The meals were great, but the coconut mojito was out of this world fantastic. Service was amazing and the views were beautiful.

This restaurant has very good views and is at the edge of a hill. You are welcomed by 2 huge parrots. The restaurant also has a boating theme with a yacht set up at the front serving beer. The tables over look the views and the service is great. We had Mofongo with Snapper and Mofongo with Shrimp. The Snapper is a whole fish and is a very big portion. The Shrimp Mofongo is also a big portion. The Coco Mojito is the best and the regular mojito is also good.
Vasisht R — Google review
Great location, ample space, good parking. Large variety of food selection at average prices. Dj on the weekends, and bar housed in a boat. The serve took great care of us and the food was tasty. If you go very hungry then order an appetizer as the food takes a little longer than usual to come. + bathroom had changing table for babies. Would definitely return.
Lizmarie D — Google review
We went after zip lining in Toro Verde. The view of the place is amazing. The customer service excellent, they are very kind people. The family plate is huge, the grilled chicken have a nice flavor, the "churrasco" (skirt) is juicy, the french fries and tostones are fresh and seems to be home made (not frozen). The only reazon I'm giving them a 4 stars and not 5 is because I didn't like the ribs. Not because of the flavor (they taste good) but because of the softness. Overall great place.

Cascada Chorro de Doña Juana is a serene natural attraction located in Orocovis, Puerto Rico's Central Mountain Range. Comprising three waterfalls with a combined height of 100 feet, it offers a tranquil and easily accessible destination without the need for hiking. Situated by Road 149 at the 41.
It was quite easy to get there, it is located right by the road, the road itself is very winding and narrow, you need to be careful and careful, there is not much space for parking, but there were no people, there is a small store next to it where you can have a snack! Unfortunately it is quite difficult to swim here as it can be dangerous to approach the water.

My partner and I visited this location today along with our family. Not that busy, and easy to reach while using our GPS. Its a well kept area and a great place to visit with the family and friends. You must be cautious when there with children, an injury can easily be acquired.
Ciales P — Google review
V nice view if you are passing by in that road to some other location, but not worth doing a 1+ hour detour. Note that there is no parking, gas or food available near this spot and roads are too narrow if you have driven mostly in US. I was stuck for 45 mins behind a bunch of cars who were driving 10-15mph and then couldn’t spend even 10 mins here. That was disappointing. The local govt could have done so much better with this place.
Yogesh B — Google review
The drive getting there can be quite overwhelming being curvy and the lanes being very thin but the waterfall view was beautiful!! There isn't much parking available but there small parking before the waterfall on the side of the road and some also in front of the restaurant... Oh! And the restaurant.... To all the vegetarians like me the pizza empanada is delicious!😋 One of the best pizza empanadas I had on the island.

National forest
Park
Bosque Estatal Toro Negro is a dense forest in the south-central part of Puerto Rico, spanning across several municipalities. It offers a variety of activities for nature enthusiasts, including hiking trails that lead to peaks, waterfalls, and natural pools. The forest is home to diverse wildlife such as hawks and boas, making it an ideal destination for birdwatchers. One of its most sought-after endemic subspecies is the Puerto Rican sharp-shinned hawk.
Beautiful park, with several trails and waterfalls. We walked Camino El Bolo which took approximately 30 minutes to get to the Observation Tower trail. From there we hiked for another 30-40 minutes up the trail to get to the Observation Tower. The trail was a little bit slippery as it rained earlier that day. We could not enjoy the view as it was very foggy that day. It was a great hike, sorrounded by a thick forest and with the guidance of Canela ( a stray dog) that accompanied us along the trail.

Very nice short paved hike to the man made pool at the base of a short waterfall. Pool is decrepit, cannot swim in it or go past the gates. Pathway is a peaceful nice walk along a stream, flowers and interesting plants, trees and birds. There are some other trails within the park but unmaintained after the hurricanes.

A really beautiful rainforest with waterfalls, a hiking trail with scenical view of many cities of Puerto Rico and two lakes. A great place, family friendly, for camping they have very good facilities with parking, bathroom and a fire place. They community is now on charge and they have done really good improvements. The prices for camping went up, but it's really worthy.
Silvette M — Google review
This is a beautiful place, but the upkeep is shameful. There used to be a large, spring fed swimming pool that now looks like it was hit with a bomb. The trails are almost completely closed because of lack of maintenance. The drive through the mountains is magnificent and there are many incredible places to eat. Is it worth the drive? No, not really...it is about 2 hours from San Juan, but you can complete every open trail in about an hour. Once a magnificent place to visit, but now just a remnant of what used to be...😔

You must take a stroll along the river at Charca La Guitarra, an enjoyable and invigorating hiking area. It is crucial to not litter and maintain its pristine condition. By swimming behind the pond and ascending the waterfall, you will discover another smaller pond, adding to the delight of your exploration. Embrace this opportunity to revel in nature's beauty while respecting its integrity.
One of my best spots in PR its in my home town i love living in Orocovis

The road to this trail is for 4 x 4 vehicles. Do not attempt to go down the mountain to the bridge. There are multiple warnings on the way telling you that it is only for 4 x 4 vehicles. Believe it. And it is not because of the potholes. It is because of how steep it is. Your car will not have the traction to come up that hill. Even worse if it rains while you are down there. You can only attempt to get down to this bridge on a 4 x 4 vehicle. Have I said it enough or do I have to repeat it? We had to turn around. And it was a long drive! Almost ran out of brakes as well.

One of my favorite places to visit when in Puerto Rico. You must have a 4x4 vehicle and be in good shape. It will take you maybe 20-30 walking down plus another half hour walk upstream to swimming hole and maybe a hour walk back up unless you have a vehicle that can drive down
Raul A — Google review
Love it. Just up from Salto La Plazuela (see my review) with guidance and directions.

(Translated by Google) You have to walk, if you don't have a 4x4, you can go down by car for a bit, but then you need a 4x4, which is mandatory since the street is all broken up. When you get to the wooden bridge it is 20 minutes upstream. The river is super beautiful and you can swim well and jump in it is deep. Before reaching this one is the Plazuela waterfall. It is NOT very deep but there is a large waterfall for some good photos.

(Translated by Google) If you don't have a 4x4, DO NOT GO DOWN WITH THE CAR. There is a point where they will have to go on foot because the car will get stuck in the woods. Don't keep walking after the bridge!!! Once you reach the bridge that crosses the river that has a hammock bridge on your right, you must walk along the river for about 25-35 minutes until you reach the puddle. Ankle tied shoes recommended. (Original) Si no tienes 4x4 NO BAJES CON EL CARRO.

(Translated by Google) You have to walk along the river but it is super fun and very refreshing! Please don't leave trash! If you swim back over the puddle and go up the jump, there is another smaller puddle. Enjoy! (Original) Tienes q caminar por el río pero es súper divertido y bien refrescante! Por favor no dejas basura! Si te nadas atrás el charco y subes por el salto, hay un otro charco más pequeño. Disfrutan!

This is the best place we have visited in Puerto Rico! The owners are the kindest: we initially only stopped for a coffee and we ended up visiting their kitchen, and they told us about the history of the place. They even gave us some food for the road! And the food was absolutely amazing (I am vegetarian and the owner made sure to respect my wish on what to try). If you pass by, you should definitely get lunch there.

I have visited on a couple of occasions and always return because the service has always been great, their fried pork and chicharrones de pollo are delicious, the lasagna with longaniza is great (I either order it for there or take out the next day). Their dish "la pelota" is amazing (highly recommended). I am looking forward for my next visit.
