Huge shopping mall, I love it. Has pretty decorations in front that fit the Christmas holiday theme. Auchan is a big store and you can find anything you need here. Lots of shoes stores, fast food options, jewelry stores - pretty much everything you need for a shopping day

I used to be a random shopper going when specific needs arose, yesterday as I was in between meetings and waiting for the zoom call I decided to use their coworking facility and Wow! What a fantastic place and the best idea ever for the management to have a genius use of space ❤️ I approve of and commend it, no need to squeeze myself into the coffee shops when you can get this great place. My only small suggestion - if possible - less music however I understand it is difficult since it is an open space and the mall's music cannot be dimmed in the area. Thank you for your great idea 💡

Fantastic shopping centre, definitely a more upmarket experience with high class brands as well as midrange ones. A great supermarket and an excellent electronic store. Very well laid out. Beuatiful place to be in the warmer months, because the fountain is synced to the soundtrack of The Witcher 3 and some movies, which makes for a very cool experience, especially during the dark.

The fountain refers to the famous work of Nicolaus Copernicus ‘On the Revolutions of Celestial Spheres’. The granite board of the fountain reads a Latin sentence and a diagram of the heliocentric system and the circles symbolising the orbits contain 100 nozzles from which water springs up. The central nozzle symbolising "the Sun"   shoots water 5 meters in the air. In the summer, in the evening hours the visitors can admire spectacular fountain performances of water, light and sound and it os the best time to see it.

Amazing fountain which played music according to the water fountains. It was a hot day and a lot of children where playing in the water. Really nice to enjoy. Bring your own bathsuit and towel. And a good camera.

This is a local legend of a brewery with on premesis vats. The best way to start is the selection of four unique beer flavours. The atmosphere is cosy and homely. To accompany the beer, there is an amazing food selection. We went for the meat platter starter, which included a lovely selection of chicken, pork shoulder, pate and artisan bread which is among the best I have ever eaten. If you are in the area, this is a must visit.

We booked a table here for the evening celebration and had a great time. I really liked the beer tasting set, where you can try three beers from the menu, and the fourth is a seasonal one. We ordered Pork neck, slowly cooked in gingerbread beer, but the meat was bland at first. We asked to have the dish redone, and the kitchen fixed it. It was nice to see that they care about making sure customers leave happy. The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for spending time with friends. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place for both casual and special occasions.

I live in Torun and eat out a lot. I had the burger this time which was disappointingly small compared to what other restaurants in the town offer. Used to be better. Service is OK, so is the beer, but I don't think I'll be coming back.

We walked past last night but they were queueing down the street. Luckily quiet at 12.30pm on this Friday afternoon. Paulicarus happy to buy me their homebrewed 5.6% Gingerbread beer. 20 zl. Gorgeous. Boothroyd tried the special monthly brew. This month a tropical fruit based brew, also 20 zl for 0.5l. Paulicarus chose the better option. A large front terrace and a dark but impressive interior. Good looking menu but too early to eat. Lovely staff.

The cuisine was good, location is nice and interior was pleasing to the eye. The dishes were served very fast. However, waiters were unpleasant and not client oriented.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent—they responded quickly and thoroughly to our emails, answering all our questions and helping us set everything up smoothly. We took the English-language tour, and our guide was fantastic. He spoke clearly, and we had no trouble understanding him at all. They've asked guests not to reveal specific details of the experience, so I won’t spoil anything—but I will say that doing the full tour gave us a deeper understanding and appreciation for what it might be like to navigate the world without sight. We also tried the dark painting studio, which was a fun and memorable addition. I highly recommend including it in your visit. The only part I didn’t connect with as much was the art gallery. While I appreciate the concept and the effort behind it, it didn’t resonate with me personally the way I imagine it was intended to. Overall, this is a powerful experience that I would absolutely recommend to others.

You have to do this experience. A regular ticket is 40zl / concession tickets 35zl. We reserved the English tour in person, and there were 4 timings on the afternoon we went. We were the only people on our tour. It simulates a blind person’s living experience. This establishment wants to raise awareness and acceptance of blind people, and the guides have various levels of sight. Kuba, who was our guide, was born sighted but has been gradually losing his sight. He started working with the Invisible House to share his experience with the curious public (like ourselves!) and found himself coming to terms with what life has dealt him. He shared his perspective and opinions very frankly, and answered my (probably nosey) questions with openness and grace. I’m glad such an experience exists, and can only hope that more people get to experience it. All the best, Kuba! The hour spent with you really made us reflect, and changed a bit about how we think about life.

Interesting experience in rooms, where in tottaly dark. The english speaking guide was deeply engaged in his work and make us to think more about live, what we have and how to change perception when sth is not how you want. It the place to grow emphaty to people experiencing blindness. Than you🫶

My 11-year-old daughter and I visited the Invisible House in Toruń and it was truly eye-opening. Our guide, Jakub, was amazing -thoughtful, open, and full of insights into the daily lives of visually impaired people. We both left with a new perspective and highly recommend the tour! PS: The tour was in English, and Jakub’s English was perfect. Also, our request for an English tour was accommodated in less than 24 hours, so that was pretty amazing in itself!

This was a nice castle to visit in Toruń even if it is just ruins. I am a big fan of history and the history of the Teutonic knights is very interesting to me, so visiting these ruins was worth it. Unfortunately there is not too much to see here, but it is still worth it to see and learn more about the history of the Teutonic Order. I recommend this place for history lovers!

20 zlotys is a lot for what it is presented (and the audioguide is 5 zlotys more), you can get an idea about the ruins from outside. It’s not worth it unless you can read polish, at the time of my visit there were two exhibitions only in that language (it was about the history of the town and how people live there). If you wanna see a castle or the history of the Teutonic Order better going to Malbork

Nice historical site, and very cool to see. Some of the signs weren’t in English, which was okay, but we couldn’t understand it. The underground exhibits were a little sketchy, and they used plastic mannequins that were a bit creepy. The remnants of the castle itself were cool to see.

Expensive, uninspiring, run down. The ruins are... ruins. Nothing special. The "exposition" is, to put it mildly, not what it used to be. Or at least I hope it was in a better shape. It just feels lazy. A mannequin with two left hands is just one example. Lights are on a 10 second timer so most of the time things are badly lit. And lights are flashing on and off all the time. Annoying. Don't spend your hard earned money here.

One of my favorite restaurants in Torun. Very good food compared to the price, very cheap like 25zl per person. It isn’t very ambient but for the price and taste of cuisine it’s incredible. Very good location and easy to get to. It seeams hygienic and probably is. The staff is very friendly.

My favourite place to get zapiekankas from. They always come up with new ideas for Zapiekanka Of The Week, have delicious handmade sauces (including salsa and pumpkin ketchup!), vegan options, and crispy onions for free. I highly recommend this, to locals and to visitors. I think the most interesting one I ever got was zapiekanka with raspberries, goat cheese, arugula (rocket) and basil mayo/pesto! What's also awesome is the choice of white OR wholemeal bread.

Very unpleasant girl taking our order on 8/12. While placing our order we asked to have the 50cm Zapiekanka cut in half, she said that we should have let her know earlier and that she can't cut it now. Seriously!?! We asked to have it cut PRIOR to completing our order (following their instructions on the window lol). The girl needs some sunshine in her life. Besides the service the Zapiekanka was solid.

It seems to be a very popular place, so we went to try the most famous zapiekanki in Toruń. The disappointment lasted longer than the casseroles. Although there was no queue, the lady behind the counter was very unpleasant to take our order and then aggressive towards my son. He was horrified by her yelling at him. Although casseroles remind me of PRL, I don't appreciate PRL-style service. We left disappointed and will never go back there again.

Personally I feel like the dishes that we ordered are not as tasty as described by others here. Got the pink duck which doesn’t taste good. The goose leg is soft but doesn’t match with the puree.

What a superb restaurant this is housed within the confines of Hotel 1231. It's a hidden gem. The service is exemplary and the food and wine that followed did not disappoint. The restaurant is underneath the hotel but still feels very bright and airy. The starter was superb, Thai style prawns, which I followed with a Brazilian steak. My wife also had the prawns as a starter but ordered the Goose leg for her main, which she said was delicious and moist. Everything had been cooked perfectly and they clearly have a very skilled chef in the kitchen. First class. It's not cheap, but quality comes at a price.

One of the best culinary surprises I had recently. The menu is limited and yet so rich. The food was prepared with great care, lots of attention on the fresh ingredients with the chefs collecting herbs from their own produce. You could taste the freshness, a real feast for the senses. The service was impeccable, friendly, immediate and professional. Last but not least the location is fantastic. Located by the old Teutonic knights castles, gives a sense of awe but at the same time very romantic. Highly recommended!

Always looking for new spots and found this on the outskirts of Old town. Usually upscale spots don't give the vibe im looking for but this place was surprisingly good. Food was outstanding. Didn't leave hungry. I know the portions are usually smaller so I'll order 3 or 4 dishes lol. Beer and 🍷 hit the spot. Decor was tasteful. I had no complaints 👌🏾I had the Sturgeon and Clams with a few appetizers.

This place is small and very well decorated inside. They have a limited menu, and are all vegan. I got a plate with a type of patty surrounded by a number of "salad" ingredients. It was bland and felt more like an assembly than a proper meal. The service is okay, but a little slow. I would not recommend it based on the meal that I had.

Very nice place! A good choice for vegetarian or vegan if you are visiting Torun. The food is tasty for reasonable prices.

Torun was unknown to me until earlier this year, but several recommendations, put it on my radar. I'm so glad I did because what a superb little place it is. The old town is a Unesco world heritage site and so it should be. I only had two nights here, but I will be back. It is traditional polish and I heard very few other nationalities around the town. The menus were a challenge, as were other aspects, but they were all worth it. It is very clean, little to no litter, no homeless and a general feel of being very safe as you move around irrespective of the time of day. It is also very cheap (compared to the UK) and excellent value.

One of two excellent malls in Toruń. (The other being Copernicus Atrium) This is the smaller one of the two. For starters , parking is free and there are plenty of spaces. Wide range of shops. Nice supermarket and a food court. Free public toilets available. Disabled friendly entrances and elevators.

It was very busy and hot in the room. I tried Cesar with shrimps but it was full of mayonnaise, too much greas! Not so tasty as in other Manekin locations.

Nice restaurant int he hart of Torun. I had the best traditional soup which is served in bread. The crepes were not on my taste but the soup, the beer and the atmosphere is really good. Also, very good prices, around 2 euro a soup, 1.10 a beer. So, is the place to get worm if you go in the winter :)

It's possible to pay in cash and using a credit card. During weekends all tickets are discounted to the price of a student ticket. The shows are quite interesting, but made with 3D graphics that looks really outdated, during some parts of the show one may feel a little sick, but overall experience is great and worth a try.

Tried phoning all morning and afternoon to book tickets but no answer, they answered a few times but hung up straight away. That didn’t seem to be helping so I started emailing someone at the same time who was extremely unhelpful and sarcastic over the messages. Tried registering/signing up on the website to see if I could book tickets that way but it just tells you to phone. Again no answer

Great place for families with children. Movies are designed for children without too many scientific facts so it can be enjoyable for them. There is no cloakroom there what is a pity but from the projection people are coming out directly to the street. Make sure you have your mask on as many people ignore the risk and do not wear it inside coughing in the tight interiors. If you reserve your ticket online you have to buy it earlier than 15 minutes before the projection or you will loose it.

Interesting leaning tower, less famous than pisa of course

We observed the tower from the outside as it was on our list of recommended places from the Tourist Information Centre in the main city area. Its a fascinating building and great that the 'leaningness' has been controlled. Well worth popping by.

It was a interesting looking place with a cool history. But if you don't have a previous knowledge of the place and if you don't speak Polish, you might not get much out of it. There are displays inside that explain some examples of daily work of the people from that era. It's a little bit expensive for what you get but it's still an interesting little stop.

The tilt is most noticeable when you align it with the vertical church spire across the street. Local students have a tradition of trying to stand straight against its curve - most people lean about 7 degrees. The medieval brickwork shows where repairs used slightly different colored clay.

The Leaning Tower in Toruń is a medieval defensive Tower which owes its name to its considerable tilt. A legend says that the creation of the tower was connected with an offence of one of the Teutonic Knights from Toruń who, against the monastic rule, fell in love and dated a beautiful daughter of a wealthy merchant. As penance for breaching the chastity vows, the knight was ordered to build a leaning tower as a symbol of his crooked ways and deviation from the strict , monastic rules.

This was a restaurant recommended to me by friends for breakfast or lunch. Sadly, the way our itinerary worked out, we didn't manage either. I did, however, enjoy a beer in the shade people watching. A very relaxing hour indeed. I must say it looked like a lovely venue and was quite busy for a Monday early afternoon.

Not my cuisine (too many flour-and meat-based meals) but found a celery soup and a second meat dish that made my evening. Very delicious yet not my taste. Green tea was fine too. Stuff so friendly and patient to explain every detail. The interior is very cozy and soothing. Lights, dimmed places and the century-old look gives unforgivable taste. If it was for the menu, I'd not go there again. For the look and feel pretty much yes!

To nie można było zadzwonić z informacją, że na tą chwilę nie ma takiego pieczywa i czy odpowiada nam zamiana na inne? Kanapka nie ma nic wspólnego z AMERYKAŃSKĄ wielkością kanapek ani z angielskim subwayem, ktorego czasami zamawiałem... Jest to wybrakowana porażka. While out for a walk on the weekend, my partner and I noticed a lunch menu sign, which lured us to go in; however, while inside, the staff informed us that it is only available on weekdays, which was okay; we were only slightly confused. We bought two ramens, green tea, and water, and ate a few sushi plates (the price was around those). The atmosphere was lovely, and I especially appreciated the closeness to the water, which made the overall experience quite pleasant. The only down side was the confusing sign; it would be preferable to remove or wipe away over the weekend to avoid further confusion for other clients.

Superb. For sure not the last time I visited this sushi place. The sushi master was very friendly and we had a very enjoyable conversation at the sushi bar. Recommended. Fun fact: they've been in Toruń for 16 years already so that speaks for itself, doesn't it?

We visit Dom Sushi every time we visit Toruń. It is always a high quality meal and we appreciate the sushi master"s attention to detail and his listening skills.

The sushi is okay (I’m Asian) not too bad not very good, feels fresh. And you could see them wrap up the sushi in front of you, which is very satisfying. But as for that, I’m a bit concerned about the hygiene cuz they were using bare hands… Price on the menu is okay but they charge extra for the service which we didn’t have. Disposable chopsticks used there too. The interior and the settings are fine. Portion of the soup is quite big.

Really delicious food, cozy and modern place, successfully executed oriental atmosphere, but quite pricey. The red chicken soup was tasty, the salmon sushi was well-balanced and fulfilling, and the coconut ice cream was bliss. The sushi masters worked in front of us at the bar in a very efficient manner. Their tools, hands, food was always kept clean, which is a great relief. The bathroom was also clean. Despite the dent in the budget, this place is almost perfect.

We ate twice at Dom Sushi. Once for dinner and once for lunch. The lunch menu provides a very good meal for a fair price. Sushi was very good and fresh made. Ramen was one of the best I ever ate (and I ate a lot of Ramen all over the world). The staff was bei friendly and nice to us and our two kids. 5 stars and a full recommendation!

Ambiance is dope. Has a chill vibe and decor is nice as well. Food is fresh, prepared well and staff are polite. Definitely gonna be a regular spot while I'm in town.

Just amazing! The food was so tasty, we had the pulled beef oven baked pancake and the Gyros pancake and were really pleased with what we had ordered. It was busy but we didn't feel rushed, I think it's safe to say we will be back before we go home- especially as we didn't have room for dessert!

What a nice place to find some food after an evening of enjoying drinks. I’m not sure what this food item is called, but it’s like a huge pancake calzone. Mine had shrimp, chorizo, spinach, and peppers, with a sour cream dill sauce on the side. The mint lemonade was also really good.

I used to go to this restaurant in the past always while visitting Toruń. Previously it was not so popular like today. Nowadays they have many locations also in other cities in Poland. I was surprised that prices are still very reasonable. Service fast and kind. Portions' size OK and taste as well.

Fantastic food . Amazing ambience. Great service . Zurek as a starter is very good. Good proportion of meat and soup. Chicken shawarma with garlic sauce was very delicious. The filling especially was quite juicy. Chicken tagliatelle was delicious. Quantity of food was appropriate and prices are reasonable. Apple pie pancake ice cream is a classic dessert here at Manekin. Overall nice experience.

Food is good and kind staff. However, more staff is needed for peak hours. We attended Saturday evening and there were a long queue, so we waited around 20 minutes outside the restaurant. Once we got a table, our order took around 30 minutes.

This was pointed out to us by friends as a fun thing to do, so we bought tickets and waded in. It's a museum plus interactive venue where you actually get to make some gingerbread. You are actually informed, however, not to eat the gingerbread you make as the process is rushed and the recipe is not quite right. Fun nonetheless. It's fun and informative, so give it a go.

I was really excited to attend the Ginger Bread Making Tour and even planned my entire day around it. English tour... I was given earpieces to listen but extremely poor quality sound systems. It was such a poor experience(they only working hard on the sales of thier gingerbread) which was deeply disappointing given how much I was looking forward it. Anyway just interesting for kids.

Very Good and Interactive muzeum from learning what gingerbreads are made from to making them yourself and them there is a chance to decorate your own gingerbread for an extra 8PLN that you can eat. There is 2 parts the medieval time and the early 20th century. When you are exploring Toruń it is certainly worth a visit. The show in English is at 2pm but in Polish it is every full hour.

We joined the 2pm English-synchronized tour and it was an overall great experience. I don't get those reviews that complain about the synchronisation. In our case, the guy that did the live translation added so much value. I guess humour is a matter of taste - but this was exactly my taste; give that man a raise! 😃 It was a very entertaining/interactive experience and the Polish language parts made the experience even more authentic to me.

Wow, what a great experience for kids and adults. The gingerbread class workshop is such a memorable experience. Excellent performance by the friendly staff. Would recommend it to anyone having a spare hour in old town Torun. Great location. Exit through a gift shop. Well worth the ticket price.

It’s free. It has some frescoes and a couple of stained glass (information only in polish). At the time of mi visit, November 2024, the tower was closed.

A brick gothic cathedral. On one of the chapels there is a 13th-century baptismal font, supposed where Copernicus was baptised, a 16th-century epitaph to him, and 18th-century monument. You can go to to top of the tower.

High quality polish diner! If you'd like an authentic experience of polish cuisine, this is a perfect place! Chicken breast was juicy, but not raw. Fries were crispy, but not dry. And pierogis... were just perfect. Everything is cooked in real time, so everything is fresh and tasty. Can reccomend!

If you're walking around the city, don't miss the opportunity to have lunch at this place. Gentile staff and tasty polish food. There's an English version of the menu, and credits cards are accepted. They also make waffles, but didn't have the chance to try them during this visit.

Honestly, not worth it. I don’t usually leave negative Google reviews, but my experience here was pretty bad. For one, the museum really was not particularly informative about Nicholas Copernicus. I get that it was 500 years ago and sometimes details are lost to history, plus this isn’t really where he made any of his calculations and discoveries, but still, they could have spent some time diving into who he was and how his upbringing may have affected who he became. Instead, There were a few hard-to-navigate iPad displays with a few paragraphs about his family in the very first room, and then everything else was pretty much just an example of a typical house of that era. That’s fine, but it’s not what I journeyed to Toruń to discover. But even worse: the whole house was just utterly and completely clogged up by tour groups with no sense of letting individual travelers move around them and experience the home and loud, nasal-voiced tour guide guides who completely obstructed me from being able to hear the relatively few audio presentations. It also didn’t help that it literally took me 10 minutes of standing at the ticket desk to buy my ticket, because the clerk was so busy processing some silly VAT receipt thing for the tour group ahead of me. This was a bit annoying, because I only had about 45 minutes before I had to leave to catch a train. Although ultimately, I couldn’t wait to get out of that museum fast enough, so the lost time really wasn’t a problem in the end. At the very tail end of the exhibit, it did look like they had tried to implement some more immersive exhibits (with some projectors and dark rooms) that had the potential to create the sense of awe and wonder of the sky that Copernicus surely experienced in his youth, but they were done in a pretty half hearted fashion. If I were the curator of this museum, I would have started the exhibit with those types of experiences and led people into a sense of curiosity about the heavens, exploring who Copernicus was and what made him tick before then finishing with an idea of what the house may have looked like when he was there. But as it stands, I left the museum really having learned next to nothing about Copernicus himself or even really what his discoveries were and very little about anything else of interest. Even though I have an interest in the sciences and generally appreciate paying homage to important places in scientific history like this, I honestly can’t recommend it. I guess it’s cheap enough that if you want to duck in just to say you’ve been here, you should, but don’t expect to get much out of the experience.

You have to go to this museum in Toruń! It is a must see here. Nicolaus Copernicus was one of the most influential people of his time and was a pioneer in the heliocentric theory, the theory where the planets revolve around the sun. I highly recommend this museum!

The house tells different stories. First is the story of Kopernikus and his researches, the greek ‘influencer’ at that time, like Apollonios, Aristoteles and Pythagoras and, of importance, the development of the tools needed for his studies, the circle. The second part shows the live of an rich successful businessman, it shows how they live and tell something about the business. Unfortunately there is not much known about Kopernikus ancestors. I personally like the first part most, the second part is more about the history of Torun and the medieval time, it is similar to other cities like the Hanse.

The interior is amazing. Old and traditional polish decoration make unforgetable atmosphere. And thats it. The food is very bad quality and the waitress should show more smiley on their faces especially that we visited that place in the middle of the day.

Oberza Torun gave me and my friend the most horrible treatment ever that I received in a restaurant. After we purchased food, we were shortly informed that we had 10 min to eat. BUT WE ALREADY HAD PAID!!! We sat down to eat. A school class and their teachers went in. Suddenly one of the waitresses appeared and told us that we have to leave in a VERY unfriendly tone. Then the teacher of the class appeared and did the same in an unfriendly impolite manner. There was enough space at other tables to sit, but she chose to insult us. What kind of restaurant sells food to customers and then throws them out? This is the most horrible thing that ever happened to me in a restaurant. When we demanded to talk to the manager she also refused to apologize and send us away. I am very angry and I feel deeply insulted. I recommend nobody to go to this restaurant. To make people pay for food, NOT informing them about that there is no space to sit down and eat it and then treat guests in such an impolite manner is unacceptable! Restaurants like this should be closed down! Total rip off!

Hands down the best pizza place in Toruń. No table service makes the dining experience quick and they have a wide selection of pizzas which are made fresh by an Italian pizza chef - I couldn’t recommend enough.

I’m surprised to see so many positive reviews. The service is poor. The waitresses are in their early twenties, but they hardly speak any English. I had to go to one of them to ask for forks and knives as none had been brought to us. Also, we (four people) were given only one napkin, so again I had to go and ask for more. Pizzas are rather average, too. I wouldn’t go there again.

We arrived about about 10 minutes before our appointment and we had to wait for our first dish for 50-55 minutes. The customers who arrived 5 minutes after us complained about it to the chef and received a courtesy drink and an apology dessert for free, yet the chef didn't notice us for a while (idk why, probably as we are not boomers and we didn't speak German), so the morale of the story - complain if you don't want to be ignored and disregard. Besides that, the kitchen itself is okay, yet in Toruń there a lot of restaurants where you can be served faster and cheaper. The service is also fine, yet once again there are a lot of lovely places in this city you may prefer instead.

A lucky find while strolling the historic cobblestone streets of Torun led me to an absolutely stellar dining experience. The moment I saw the sign announcing that the chef had been featured on "Top Chef," I knew I had to give it a try. I'm so glad I did, because this was, without a doubt, the best meal I've had in all of Poland. From the moment we walked in, the entire experience was flawless. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of cozy charm and refined elegance, and the service was impeccable—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm. The food, however, was the true star of the show. Every dish was executed with a level of precision and creativity that was simply breathtaking. The absolute highlight of my meal was the chilled beet root soup. This wasn't just soup; it was a work of art. The cool, earthy sweetness of the beet was perfectly balanced by the vibrant, refreshing kick of a delicate cucumber sorbet. The masterful blend of flavors and textures was a testament to a chef who truly understands how to surprise and delight the palate. Our lunch was made even more special when the chef himself came to our table to chat and see how we were enjoying everything. If I would describe it with only one word, I would say it’s exceptional. But the effort they put in the food and the service is way too outstanding to reduce it to one word. The service is pleasant, professional, organised. Loved every minute. The food is just Michelin level, but in a casual way. The flavours are extremely well combined, exciting and just highest quality. We had the goat cheese salad and the truffle carpaccio and the ingredients were just otherworldly good. We had a lovely evening at Piernicova and can not recommend it enough for a day in Torun! The staff was incredibly kind and we were personally greeted by the head chef who made us feel so welcome. The food was equally spectacular, what we especially appreciated was the local twist to many dishes, such as the herring fillet with gingerbread spice. The terrace is spacious and perfect for a summer evening! We are already looking forward to come back someday!

We came back to Restauracja Piernicova for the second time—our first visit was last year—and once again, it was an unforgettable experience. This place is truly a gem. This place was truly spectacular! The service and table setting was exceptional. The attention to detail on point. The menu was well balanced and it had plenty of options. We had a table with open view to the kitchen and you can see how the chef runs it like a well oiled machine. On his time down, he comes to the tables and asks you how your experience was. You can see how invested he is in his food and your experience. We ordered a hearty and multilayered mushroom soup and the duck confit that came with an outstanding fond sauce. Our experience was so wonderful that we booked it for a birthday dinner in a few weeks, we will certainly be coming back and can’t wait to host our guests there.
