Came here for dinner with a group of four. The size of the restaurant was pretty decent and the vibe was pretty good. The food was decent price and it was delicious. One thing that I wasn't a fan of was they didn't have some of the stuff they had on the menu. My friend ordered a drink, but they came back and said they didn't have any. They also moved onto someone else, when I wasn't done ordering.

Service is very bad i ordered a Fanta and instead Fanta they brought me a Mirinda on the glass thinking that I will not recognize also I have ordered food chicken fillet baked with parma and they brought me the chicken fillet wrapped in ham pork and also came with mushroom that I don’t eat pork and mushrooms so bad service and food is not worth it

I really enjoyed dinner here. I came in and was sat immediately. My server was very nice and recommended I started with a mojito. Great choice. For my appetizer I started with the beef tartare. Very well seasoned and delicious. I asked what was most popular, the sever suggested the US Burger. The burger was decent, but nothing special. Overall, great dining experience for a quick bite in the evening. Will definitely come back.

Once it was pleasant and friendly, and the whisky sour was delicious. Unfortunately, today I was extremely disappointed. An incompetent bartender. Instead of a whisky sour, I received something that didn’t resemble that drink. After mentioning to the bartender that the drink wasn’t what it should be, I received an impolite response along with additional comments after I had already sat at the table.

Love this place! Prices are great and the food is superb! Have a glass of Guinness and their American Sirloin. Another favorite of mine is their Salmon Tagliatelle, delicious and just the right size serving.

Have just had a meal here. The American Beef Sirloin was absolutely magnificent. Presented and cooked to perfection and accompanied by beautiful potatoes, salad and a garlic infused mushroom garnish. The service was brilliant too. Poland is my 10th country on a 5 week motorcycle tour and we have had some excellent food and some ‘not so good’ food. The meal here was ‘simply the best’! I would have given this meal 6 stars if I could’ve. Many thanks to the chef and all the staff.

Cool atmosphere upstairs, burgers are nicely priced and tasty considering the central location of this establishment. My chicken was a little dry and Guinness is not imported (brewed under license) but other than that the food was tasty, service nice and I would come back here.

While out for a walk on the weekend, my partner and I noticed a lunch menu sign, which lured us to go in; however, while inside, the staff informed us that it is only available on weekdays, which was okay; we were only slightly confused. We bought two ramens, green tea, and water, and ate a few sushi plates (the price was around those). The atmosphere was lovely, and I especially appreciated the closeness to the water, which made the overall experience quite pleasant. The only down side was the confusing sign; it would be preferable to remove or wipe away over the weekend to avoid further confusion for other clients.

Superb. For sure not the last time I visited this sushi place. The sushi master was very friendly and we had a very enjoyable conversation at the sushi bar. Recommended. Fun fact: they've been in Toruń for 16 years already so that speaks for itself, doesn't it?

We visit Dom Sushi every time we visit Toruń. It is always a high quality meal and we appreciate the sushi master"s attention to detail and his listening skills.

The sushi is okay (I’m Asian) not too bad not very good, feels fresh. And you could see them wrap up the sushi in front of you, which is very satisfying. But as for that, I’m a bit concerned about the hygiene cuz they were using bare hands… Price on the menu is okay but they charge extra for the service which we didn’t have. Disposable chopsticks used there too. The interior and the settings are fine. Portion of the soup is quite big.

Really delicious food, cozy and modern place, successfully executed oriental atmosphere, but quite pricey. The red chicken soup was tasty, the salmon sushi was well-balanced and fulfilling, and the coconut ice cream was bliss. The sushi masters worked in front of us at the bar in a very efficient manner. Their tools, hands, food was always kept clean, which is a great relief. The bathroom was also clean. Despite the dent in the budget, this place is almost perfect.

We ate twice at Dom Sushi. Once for dinner and once for lunch. The lunch menu provides a very good meal for a fair price. Sushi was very good and fresh made. Ramen was one of the best I ever ate (and I ate a lot of Ramen all over the world). The staff was bei friendly and nice to us and our two kids. 5 stars and a full recommendation!

Ambiance is dope. Has a chill vibe and decor is nice as well. Food is fresh, prepared well and staff are polite. Definitely gonna be a regular spot while I'm in town.

The interior is amazing. Old and traditional polish decoration make unforgetable atmosphere. And thats it. The food is very bad quality and the waitress should show more smiley on their faces especially that we visited that place in the middle of the day.

Oberza Torun gave me and my friend the most horrible treatment ever that I received in a restaurant. After we purchased food, we were shortly informed that we had 10 min to eat. BUT WE ALREADY HAD PAID!!! We sat down to eat. A school class and their teachers went in. Suddenly one of the waitresses appeared and told us that we have to leave in a VERY unfriendly tone. Then the teacher of the class appeared and did the same in an unfriendly impolite manner. There was enough space at other tables to sit, but she chose to insult us. What kind of restaurant sells food to customers and then throws them out? This is the most horrible thing that ever happened to me in a restaurant. When we demanded to talk to the manager she also refused to apologize and send us away. I am very angry and I feel deeply insulted. I recommend nobody to go to this restaurant. To make people pay for food, NOT informing them about that there is no space to sit down and eat it and then treat guests in such an impolite manner is unacceptable! Restaurants like this should be closed down! Total rip off!

We went there for Sunday lunch because they have quite interesting menu, not only pizza but other Italian courses. Pizza was quite good but very fat. My plate was full of that after eaten pizza. Service was really kind and concerned. If you want only pizza probably there are better in Toruń. If not it could be a good choice.

I had the pleasure of trying the Arabiata spaghetti at a local restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! The combination of perfectly cooked apaghetti and the spicy tomato sauce was a flavor explosion in every bite. The sauce had just the right amount of heat, balanced with the richness of tomatoes and a hint of garlic. Topped with fresh basil and a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, it was a culinary masterpiece. Delicious, affordable food, extremely pleasant service, and good atmosphere. Azzurro is one of those places where you can pick your dish at random and it will be equally great every single time. This is peak dining in the area, and you will do yourself a disservice not to try it.

Excellent Italian restaurant. Good food and reasonable prices. Would have liked better service...the waitresses didn't smile and just plonked the plates down. However, this is still typical in Poland.

One of our favorite places in Toruń. Friedly atmosphere, kind service, large space and most of all - good food. Our kids beloved italian pizza, original burgers, wide choice of pasta. Parking at Broniewskiego may sometimes be an issue + some coloring papers and crayons for kids missing but otherwise - highly recommended.

Good pizza. A bit far from the city center, the wine was tasteless and the spicy pizza was way too spicy for that recommended level of spices.

It was great. Atmosphere was comfortable and calm. We sat outside, well protected from the rain- it was quite pleasant. The food was good, the service nothing special, but certainly a great restaurant for a good pizza or pasta. P.s. The mango bubble tea is extremely sweet- be careful!

Went on a Saturday night and had to wait for a table. Not a critique, they were just busy. Service was great. Very diverse menu. Ricotta with Salmon and Spinach was outstanding. You can tell they make their own pasta. Lots of servers who were always on the move. Highly recommend for a nice night out with excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere.

I visited this restaurant today with my family. We were served by a very nice waitress her name was Ola. You could see that she really cared about us being satisfied. And we were. The food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Great atmosphere. I really love the art design on the walls. Each section of the restaurant has its own theme. We were immediately seated and our food came promptly after ordering. The service was great! Our waitress was very nice and made awesome menu suggestions. We started with calamari and mussels as appetizers. My only complaint about the mussels is that they weren’t saturated in the white wine sauce. For the entree we ordered the Green Tagliatelle with chicken and Green Tagliatelle with salmon. Was very happy to know that the pasta is made fresh, in house everyday. For desert we had the brownie. The food was good but didn’t have a “WOW” factor. Overall, very nice restaurant to go to when your out on the town.

My wife and I live in Torun and we have been here numerous times and are always extremely satisfied with the food, atmosphere and service. Today Lesia served us and her service was top class. We felt very taken care of, she was warm, kind and really caring. In the summer it is quite common to receive warm food in old town (instead of hot). However, Lesia made sure our food was steaming hot. Thank you for the great service and thank you to the kitchen staff for preparing delicious food.

Very nice place for a drink and a snack with a nice quiet outdoor terrace. The food was great and the drinks also very nice and tasty. Just off the main street so it’s not as busy. A few vegetarian options too.

The most well deserved five stars I’ve given so far! Brilliant and friendly staff! They also speak English. Great vibes in the place. The breakfast and savoury pancakes are incredible. Their lemonade with lemon and mint is the best in Poland. Great value for the money! Been their twice already and received exceptional service and food! The place is clean and well taken care of! Very well done and thank you for providing such a pleasant experience for the customers!

It was very busy and hot in the room. I tried Cesar with shrimps but it was full of mayonnaise, too much greas! Not so tasty as in other Manekin locations.

Nice restaurant int he hart of Torun. I had the best traditional soup which is served in bread. The crepes were not on my taste but the soup, the beer and the atmosphere is really good. Also, very good prices, around 2 euro a soup, 1.10 a beer. So, is the place to get worm if you go in the winter :)

Nice places for a variety of crapes. Delicious. Zureck was good. Pastas were perfect. Very close to the university. Nice ambience. Overall very good.

Fantastic food and exceptionally nice staff. We were pleasantly surprised that the waiting time was much shorter than expected. The portions were generous and beautifully presented, leaving us more than satisfied. The view from the top floor added a wonderful touch to the whole experience, making the meal not only delicious but also memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere.

The zur was packed with delicious flavours, and the baked pierogies were excellent. Very nice that it’s possible to have 3 different fillings on same plate. Our server Adam was very helpful, speaking good English and making recommendations for sauces. The restaurant was very busy but he always made sure we were looked after.

We have visited this restaurant in Gdansk and Wroclaw and both times have thoroughly enjoyed the food. We enjoyed the meaty tomato soup so much that we decided to have it again when we were in Torun. The waitress was fantastic as was the food.

Baked pierogi = game changer! Pierogarnia Stary Toruń is an absolute gem! I’ve had a lot of pierogis in Poland, but this place really stands out—especially their baked pierogi, which were a total surprise and honestly my favorite part of the meal. Perfectly golden, slightly crispy on the outside, and packed with delicious fillings. I tried the baked spinach and cheese ones and they were incredible. Of course, the boiled pierogis were great too—especially the classic ruskie—but the baked ones just hit different. So flavorful and satisfying! The restaurant itself is cozy and has that old-town Polish charm, right in the heart of Toruń. Friendly staff, fast service, and very reasonable prices. If you're visiting Toruń and want something traditional but a little different, definitely try the baked pierogi here. You won’t regret it!

Before this review I emailed the restaurant about my experience and I was hoping they will reply but it seems that they are not interested in emails so I will leave my opinion here. I went over for lunch on the 5th of October around 1pm. I was on my own and sat at the table right next to the entrance. Ordered a draught beer and a portion of 5 baked pierogi, all different filling and I was served by Patrik. As I was eating one, I noticed a maggot inside and you can see it in the picture below. Every time I was in Torun, I visited this restaurant and this was very disappointing to see in my food, especially in a restaurant chain so big. Waiter apologised, but it was not his fault anyway. Hope they will take appropriate measures in the future to avoid this.

Lovely place!! Located in old town restaurant with massive windows overseeing beautiful Torun. We return every time I'm in town and we know we won't be disappointed. We always book a table as it is quite popular spot. Selection of different pierogi is amazing 😍 there is something for everyone. Rooms are tidy and the decor creates very cosy, old ways kind of atmosphere. It's very immersive experience. Hubert took care of us that night and was very attentive, helpful - offering advice and was very polite and funny, making us feel very welcome. Food and drinks were both delicious, not a bad word we can say about it. I love it that there are seasonal selections every time I'm there. It keeps menu fresh and my visits there adventurous, as adventurous as going out for food can be, haha 😅 Keep it up guys! You're great 👍

Beautiful place with good variety of perogies. Our server Adam was very nice and helpful. He understood English and even made us laugh. Thank you for such a nice experience. The blueberry perogies with blueberry sauce and cracked brown sugar we're AMAZING 😍

Just amazing! The food was so tasty, we had the pulled beef oven baked pancake and the Gyros pancake and were really pleased with what we had ordered. It was busy but we didn't feel rushed, I think it's safe to say we will be back before we go home- especially as we didn't have room for dessert!

What a nice place to find some food after an evening of enjoying drinks. I’m not sure what this food item is called, but it’s like a huge pancake calzone. Mine had shrimp, chorizo, spinach, and peppers, with a sour cream dill sauce on the side. The mint lemonade was also really good.

I used to go to this restaurant in the past always while visitting Toruń. Previously it was not so popular like today. Nowadays they have many locations also in other cities in Poland. I was surprised that prices are still very reasonable. Service fast and kind. Portions' size OK and taste as well.

Fantastic food . Amazing ambience. Great service . Zurek as a starter is very good. Good proportion of meat and soup. Chicken shawarma with garlic sauce was very delicious. The filling especially was quite juicy. Chicken tagliatelle was delicious. Quantity of food was appropriate and prices are reasonable. Apple pie pancake ice cream is a classic dessert here at Manekin. Overall nice experience.

Food is good and kind staff. However, more staff is needed for peak hours. We attended Saturday evening and there were a long queue, so we waited around 20 minutes outside the restaurant. Once we got a table, our order took around 30 minutes.

A very popular restaurant in the city. Despite having plenty of space, in the evening, you might have to wait around an hour for a table. The staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious, with prices that are reasonable considering the location and quality of the ingredients. The interior is cozy and modern. Highly recommended!

What an incredible meal! Our party of 3 arrived at noon for lunch while sightseeing. We enjoyed the margherita pizza, braised turkey, and a bacon cheeseburger. The highlight of the meal however was the mulled wine. We tried both the pear white wine and orange red wine options. The red wine in particular was the best mulled wine I've ever had.

Indeed one of the best restaurants in Poland. Their ambiance is awestruck. I hope you guys will open one restaurant in warszawa as well.

Definitely the place to eat in Torun , if I was being selfish I’d say don’t visit , then I wouldn’t have to wait for a table , but the fact that the place is always full and always has people queuing outside speaks for itself. I always look forward to visiting this place and have never been disappointed, we tried another very good restaurant in the immediate area on 1 of the 6 nights during this trip , which was fine , but decided to eat in here on each of the other days as nothing else compares . Food is exceptional, menu has lots of options, prices are very good and the atmosphere and staff are also exceptional. Cocktails are really something different and the deserts are out of this world and are absolutely huge . Nothing else compares , that’s the truth . Excellent value and a great experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to torun .

We saw high ratings and came here for lunch. The atmosphere is very nice, clean elegantly decorated. I ordered the pork in cream sauce. There were a small sparse pieces of pork smothered in sauce a few pieces of asparagus and mushrooms. It was disappointing especially for the price. We ordered the brushetta and it was grocery store bread with cheese barely melted on top and loads of tasteless chopped tomatoes. No seasoning. The service was great the hostess so sweet the waiter so friendly. Would I come here again?Not really.

My my my! When I think of this place all I can say is YUM!!! When we arrived, the place was very crowded. The host informed us that they didn’t have seating on the top floor, so we had to go out and enter through the bottom floor where there was ample seating. We started with mussels and calamari. And WOW! The sauce they marinated the mussels in I could eat by itself. So GOOD! We then had a variety of cocktails. The cocktails had exquisite taste, but I really didn’t seem to taste much alcohol. We had duck and pork rinds for our entree. Everything we ordered here was delicious. Our waiter Syzmon, was superb and provided great service. Looking forward to going back to try more items.

This is a local legend of a brewery with on premesis vats. The best way to start is the selection of four unique beer flavours. The atmosphere is cosy and homely. To accompany the beer, there is an amazing food selection. We went for the meat platter starter, which included a lovely selection of chicken, pork shoulder, pate and artisan bread which is among the best I have ever eaten. If you are in the area, this is a must visit.

We booked a table here for the evening celebration and had a great time. I really liked the beer tasting set, where you can try three beers from the menu, and the fourth is a seasonal one. We ordered Pork neck, slowly cooked in gingerbread beer, but the meat was bland at first. We asked to have the dish redone, and the kitchen fixed it. It was nice to see that they care about making sure customers leave happy. The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for spending time with friends. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place for both casual and special occasions.

I live in Torun and eat out a lot. I had the burger this time which was disappointingly small compared to what other restaurants in the town offer. Used to be better. Service is OK, so is the beer, but I don't think I'll be coming back.

Hands down the best culinary experience in Torun if you're looking for solid portions and Polish-adjacent food. Visited with friends and tried more than half the menu, everything was four- or five-star level. Quick and effortless service, excellent food, brilliant interior design and locally brewed beer, no complaints, five stars fully deserved.

We walked past last night but they were queueing down the street. Luckily quiet at 12.30pm on this Friday afternoon. Paulicarus happy to buy me their homebrewed 5.6% Gingerbread beer. 20 zl. Gorgeous. Boothroyd tried the special monthly brew. This month a tropical fruit based brew, also 20 zl for 0.5l. Paulicarus chose the better option. A large front terrace and a dark but impressive interior. Good looking menu but too early to eat. Lovely staff.

The cuisine was good, location is nice and interior was pleasing to the eye. The dishes were served very fast. However, waiters were unpleasant and not client oriented.

We visited this restaurant with a group of 5 people. The restaurant staff was very nice, the decorations were interesting to look at, and the food was good. My favorite dish was the dill pickles. Our server was Wiktoria Len, and she spoke English very well, which was extremely helpful as she was able to explain our options. She was friendly, polite, and patient with us as well. I’m glad we had her serving us tonight!

A nice and cozy place in the city centre. Not overcrowded, welcoming and quite authentic with a touch. Baked pierogi is now one of my faves. Our waiter, Denis, was extremely helpful and attentive (without hovering, just what we needed🥰). All his recommendations helped us make the best choice. Many thanks! My new favorite place in Torun! From the moment I stepped over the threshold, I was captivated by the atmosphere of the place. A very unique interior that at the same time gives the vibe of being at home. The Christmas playlist made me feel like I was in a Christmas movie on special dinner haha Very friendly and fast service. I ordered the vegan ramen and even though it's not an Asian restaurant, it was one of the best and deeply spammy vegetable broths I've had. The portion was huge and definitely worth the price. My friend ordered vegan chicken burger and the other one ordered chicken and they said it was the best burger and chicken they ate so far! Plenty of vegan options! From starters to desserts. I will definitely be visiting there again in a short while. And also lemon sorbet was so refreshing, definitely recommend!

This place was just average. We want it to try it before celebrating an event there, but after testing it we went for another venue. The food is nothing special. The onion rings we had as an appetizer didn’t taste of onion at all and the meat entree we had was an odd color and texture. The service was really nice though, our waitress accommodated our needs and she was really lovely. The atmosphere was just normal, no “New Orleans” feel.

This hotel offered a very satisfactory stay. It's perfectly located in the very heart of Torun's old town, right by the medieval gate. This proximity made exploring the historic area incredibly convenient, with numerous restaurants and cafes just a short walk away. The room itself was exceptionally clean, a standard that I've found lacking in some higher-rated hotels. The bed was also notably comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest. Furthermore, all the necessary amenities were present in the room, which was appreciated. The breakfast offered a particularly rich assortment of food, with enough variants to likely satisfy a wide range of tastes and cravings. The ambiance and design of the breakfast area were also quite pleasant. The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very decent experience, and the cleanliness of the room and the variety of the breakfast were definite highlights!

2025 I can highly recommend the Spichrz Hotel having stayed for a few nights in September. The main building (note there is also an annex which I didn't enter) has been beautifully restored from the original granary of 1719. Original beams and ceilings have been used, and there are nice features like the restored winching apparatus on the top floor. The room was modern and clean. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom but there was a large (noisy) fan which helped. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant dishes were superb. The location is very convenient for all the attractions. I would definitely stay again when in Torun.

Nice hotel with exceptional sauna in a very convenient location right next to the city center. Classic rooms with a comfortable bed and small desk. It's the building which gives your stay a definite charm.

Beautiful room facing the river. Very interesting renovation of a former commercial building. Giant, stout, old 14' X 14' wooden beams all over & gorgeous brick work. Very nice dining room. Professional, helpful staff.

Historical, charming, clean, wonderful location near the river and with a stellar breakfast. I had a room in the former granary, renovated and vibrant. Just enchanting. It was away from the crowds, therefore very relaxing and with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. This hotel is a gem in a jewel city. I couldn’t ask for more.

I absolutely loved this hotel and have already recommend it to a few friends. Perfect location, very charming decor, comfy beds and phenomenal food at breakfast and in a restaurant. It has parking (fee 60 zl) but also a gym and sauna, you can book it to use just for yourself and it's free. Also people working there are very kind, helpful and polite. I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel Spichrz and If I ever intend to visit Torun again I will be back at this hotel

My burger loving partner was pretty satisfied with the burger, I also liked the quesadillas. The salad was a bit butter but I suppose it was the lettuces fault :) the only thing I would work on was coffee, but blame it on my own preferences of taste :) a student friendly place.

This was my first time visiting this branch of Widelec and I was certainly not let down. The staff were very friendly (and the waitresses who served us spoke very good English). We were seated quickly, despite being told it would be a 15 minute wait. The food was quick and piping hot and absolutely delicious. The awesome burger (pictured below) was scrumptious and was served with a very generous portion of french fries. I’ll definitely be choosing this branch over the other one near Copernicus Atrium - the service is much better and the staff are much friendlier.

It's a really great place. We loved it so much we went there two days in a row. Tasty food and beers (wheat and pils for sure), good prices. Recommend a big portion of ribs if you are extremely hungry and eat a lot. Will definetely come back when in this area.

We went there in order to taste real southern Italian couisine. Have we found it? I think mostly yes. Starter foccacia was good start and really big! Good quality oliv on tables. You feel they use good Italian ingredients. Tuna steak was delicious. Prices quite expensive but at least you know for what you pay. Service OK.

We highly recommend this place! The fillet steak was the best we’ve tasted so far in Poland — perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Been here a few times! They serve lovely traditional Sicilian food for a reasonable price and the staff are friendly and attentive (they all speak English too which is handy!). The starters were lovely (Parma ham with mozzarella and focaccia). The risotto rice which is listed as a side actually comes with Parmesan and my partner is allergic to cheese and ordered it, so that should probably be listed on the menu as an ingredient. The seafood risotto I had was delicious, however, and had lots of seafood. Will definitely come back again!

Good place for a lunch in a city center but a bit expensive (like everything in the vicinity). Interior is clean and have some nice touches with paintings. Food is really good and portions are in ok size. Staff is quick to respond. Tried spagetti and tenderloin and can recommend both.

We arrived about about 10 minutes before our appointment and we had to wait for our first dish for 50-55 minutes. The customers who arrived 5 minutes after us complained about it to the chef and received a courtesy drink and an apology dessert for free, yet the chef didn't notice us for a while (idk why, probably as we are not boomers and we didn't speak German), so the morale of the story - complain if you don't want to be ignored and disregard. Besides that, the kitchen itself is okay, yet in Toruń there a lot of restaurants where you can be served faster and cheaper. The service is also fine, yet once again there are a lot of lovely places in this city you may prefer instead.

If I would describe it with only one word, I would say it’s exceptional. But the effort they put in the food and the service is way too outstanding to reduce it to one word. This place was truly spectacular! The service and table setting was exceptional. The attention to detail on point. The menu was well balanced and it had plenty of options. We had a table with open view to the kitchen and you can see how the chef runs it like a well oiled machine. On his time down, he comes to the tables and asks you how your experience was. You can see how invested he is in his food and your experience. We ordered a hearty and multilayered mushroom soup and the duck confit that came with an outstanding fond sauce. Our experience was so wonderful that we booked it for a birthday dinner in a few weeks, we will certainly be coming back and can’t wait to host our guests there.

We came there with friends during Camerimage festival. We wait quiet so long just for order food, it was about 10-15min. We ordered multiple variants of food. I ordered the Pad Thai. It was not bad it was not good. What's weird they serve asian food on italian dishes...!? There is sticker on the door of the restaurant with i formation about "you can pay by card" but that's a lie. I don't know if it's temporary problem or some trick but there was a sign just in polish about paying only in cash. Employees didn't warn us for that. I have a small amount of cash but I have to go to widraw more.

I would give more starts if I could! This place is fantastic. Incredible coffees, delicious pastries and wonderful people. We trusted the recommendation of one of the staff and went for the Carrot spice drink, which was incredibly tasty!! On the side we tried a croissant with chestnut cream and white chocolate, along with an apple and caramel danish. Both were fantastic. The next day we also tried delicious different double espressos. The staff is very knowledgeable and great to talk with! Highly recommended place for coffee and pastry lovers!!

Quite possibly the best flat white I have enjoyed, outside of Rome. The coffee was delicately brewed, expertly decanted and poured into the rich oat milk (personally recommended by the barista when asked which pairing would provide the best flavour enhancement). The oat milk was like pure velvet. I would return, even if it was a longer journey for such a sublime and indulgent coffee experience.

All pastries are to die for. Coffee I bet it's connoisseur level tho I am not one. It is a very small space so in the winter season you will need to politely fight for a free spot, but it's all worth it. Regards to the staff

Hidden BBQ gem in Toruń! Stumbled across Montenegro while visiting Toruń and honestly, it was one of the best restaurants in all of Poland!! The meat here is next-level—super tender meat, packed with smoky flavor, and cooked just right. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. You can tell these folks know what they’re doing when it comes to barbecue. The place has a cozy, laid-back vibe and the staff were super friendly and helpful, even giving great recommendations on what to try. Service was quick and relaxed, just how I like it. If you're in Toruń and craving some real BBQ, Montenegro is 100% worth a visit. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

We have been visiting Metropolis on a regular basis for many years and the quality of service and food are invariably the same. Good atmosphere and very helpful staff. There are also toys and high chairs for babies. Outdoor tables also available.

Well. Tastewise like kfc that was fine but not when it comes to the accuracy of the order.... very disappointing. It wasn't even busy. Had to wait 10 min but this is fair enough and understandable like for a 11pm service. But how come when you order 1x Grander burger with bacon and cheese and 1x zinger you get 2x zinger.... that is very terrible service experience. I never had this happened in any of the kfc branches. Definitely will avoid this one for the future. Highly not recommend.

Had to visit this after high recommendations from friends. We took the beetroot soup, the potato pancake, and the shawarma pancake. Also ordered the sweet pancakes, but the portion size was soo big that we had to cancel the sweet ones. The food is good, however, the shawarma pancake had a little too much of cabbage for my liking- and with the salad, it just became too much cabbage heavy. Vegan options are limited, but the beetroot soup was heavenly! Definitely warrants another visit.

It is a really cool restaurant with very tasty menu ,a warm ambience and convenient location. Dishes are fantastic! My family can’t stop enjoying their meal, but my younger sister doesn’t want to eat. So 4 stars, adorable place but feels a lack of children’s menu.

Honestly, this was just bad. My pancakes came out at the same time as my salad — who thought that was a good idea? Obviously by the time I finished the salad, the pancakes were cold. And they weren’t even good — straight up felt like cafeteria pancakes with some toppings thrown on top. Half of them didn’t even have any toppings, just dry and boring. The kebab was alright at best. Not hot, kinda lukewarm, and the meat had a slightly weird taste, like it had been sitting out a bit too long. Not awful, but definitely not fresh. The chicken in the salad though? Dry and way too hard, like it had been overcooked or left under a heat lamp forever. Not pleasant at all. We waited 10min so she would take our check and give our cash back, but she never came and we had to come to her friends to get our check processed

The food is so delicious! We had the savory pancake with chicken and camembert, and the curry pasta pancake. The latter was a bit disappointed because we dont taste curry at all, but overall very filling and we are satisfied. Just that we sat at the underground part, and whenever people open the door we will feel cold.

It was mediocre, in my opinion. The waitress made a few mistakes with our order. My husband's pancake came out much later after the 6 others in our group were almost done eating. We had to ask about it and most likely they didn't input it. My Mexican style pancake tasted nothing like Mexican. But as our group had 3 kids, it's a good spot for casual and picky eaters.

Try the Pad Thai with prawn and chilli.... To die for! I couldn't believe all the different ways pancakes could be savoury and so tasty. Definitely going back on my next trip to Poland.

I ate here yesterday (torun ) and had an enjoyable meal , very tasty ,plate was large and I did intend returning to eat . However , when I came to pay the bill ,60plz , I decided to pay cash with a 100plz note , the manager of the restaurant took my cash but did not return with my 40pzl change. After 10 mins I had to ask a waitress where my change was , she explained that the manager was in the back and would return soon , after another 5-10 mins the manager returned to the floor but walked straight past me on 2 occasions until I stopped him and asked for my change, at which point he took the money from his pocket, laughed at me and returned it . Very poor scam tactics from the elder balding gentleman of the establishment. I loved the food but will not return

For a good start (apart from drinking wine and fresh orange juice) we ordered a tapas set as an appetizer, i.e. sandwiches with cucumber and chorizo ​​plus slices of Spanish jamon ham with olives, dried fruit and a piece of pickled Moroccan lemon. The lemon had a very original taste that I can't compare to anything else, but I could eat it, which I wouldn't do with an ordinary lemon. For the first course, we chose soups - Asia ordered Moroccan soup with chicken and vegetables, I asked for spicy roasted tomato soup. It was worth waiting for them, because they were both super tasty, and the tomato soup was really incredibly spicy (the waitress warned me, but I didn't believe her). The second courses are Moroccan cuisine. For Asia, couscous with chicken and vegetables, for me, tagine with chicken and also vegetables. We waited quite a long time for the meal, but the dishes were prepared on a regular basis, so it's hard to blame us. Nice pizza. Neapolitan style. House wine was served in warm glasses just from the dishwasher but they gave us some ice after requests so it was fine. Waitress was not very talkative but I guess it was maybe just a long day.

Enjoyed a nice dinner here with my grandmother yesterday. The pizza was great, i highly recommend it. My grandmother said she thought her pasta was delicious. Our lovely waitress Natalia was super kind and friendly, she did a wonderful job serving us during our time at the restaurant. Overall a wonderful experience and i’ll be sure to visit again sometime.

Food was delicious. Staffs were sweet and knowledgeable. Ania was our server and she made sure our food was top tier quality. Id like to mention Marcelina as well for taking care of us last time. Every bite was worth every penny. Will come back again. 😊

We had a delicious dinner in this cozy restaurant. The tomato soup was so amazing, that I would come back just for it. We ordered pasta, pizza and cocktails - everyone was satisfied with their meals. Our waitress Ania was super sweet and attentive, there was no problem with speaking in english.

Enchanting atmosphere and exquisite food This place was a true finding. They feature interesting meals and portions are generous. The place is inspired by Bulgakov's famous novel , and is a must for any reader of the Russian writer. They have installations in the dining rooms featuring characters from the book, and the furniture is also themed.

I am a little surprised so positive reviews of this restaurant. We went there for lunch during working days. It is special lunch menu as in many restaurants - from Monday till Friday afternoon for 34 PLN. Soup+ main course+ tea. First disappointment winter tea was ordinary black tea. Chicken soup was average. However main course very simple, vegetarian. We didn't get this infornation booking table by phone. I need to mention that service was nice and professional.

Great food, very friendly service, calm interior, right in the heart of the old town. I had a steak from red dear, with good red wine from Georgia that went very well with the venison. The meat was perfectly done (real medium), so tender and moist that l preferred it on its own, rather than with the sauce. The veggies were very nice too, crunchy cauliflower, sweet carrots. I wish l was staying longer in Torun so l could sample more of their cooking, including the vegetarian dishes. Great dinner, l wish l lived close by so l could come more often.

A nice interior. A menu is too big and not easy to look at. I don’t like huge pics. Delicious winter tea and salmon tatar. Sweet potato wasnt special. Just ok. Dried duck not easy to eat and too salty. You need to wait quite long for food, so keep it in mind. In general it was ok, but not great.

Lucky for us we came at an off peak hour because I can see this place filling up fast. The food was delicious. The lamb chops in particular were ambrosial. Wine choices pretty decent. Our waitress had a good sense of humor and attention to detail. Love the old brick all around and classy interior. When in Toruń I would have to say this is a must.

Personally I feel like the dishes that we ordered are not as tasty as described by others here. Got the pink duck which doesn’t taste good. The goose leg is soft but doesn’t match with the puree.

What a superb restaurant this is housed within the confines of Hotel 1231. It's a hidden gem. The service is exemplary and the food and wine that followed did not disappoint. The restaurant is underneath the hotel but still feels very bright and airy. The starter was superb, Thai style prawns, which I followed with a Brazilian steak. My wife also had the prawns as a starter but ordered the Goose leg for her main, which she said was delicious and moist. Everything had been cooked perfectly and they clearly have a very skilled chef in the kitchen. First class. It's not cheap, but quality comes at a price.

One of the best culinary surprises I had recently. The menu is limited and yet so rich. The food was prepared with great care, lots of attention on the fresh ingredients with the chefs collecting herbs from their own produce. You could taste the freshness, a real feast for the senses. The service was impeccable, friendly, immediate and professional. Last but not least the location is fantastic. Located by the old Teutonic knights castles, gives a sense of awe but at the same time very romantic. Highly recommended!

Always looking for new spots and found this on the outskirts of Old town. Usually upscale spots don't give the vibe im looking for but this place was surprisingly good. Food was outstanding. Didn't leave hungry. I know the portions are usually smaller so I'll order 3 or 4 dishes lol. Beer and 🍷 hit the spot. Decor was tasteful. I had no complaints 👌🏾I had the Sturgeon and Clams with a few appetizers.

Nice location, open from early morning and had a generous offer for early birds. However, the food was ok. My omelette was still “chirping” a bit :) I prefer it “well done” and the huge turnoff for us was the cleanliness. Dirty tables, poorly washed cutlery, it kills the “taste” and the impression from the place

We were lucky to find a table as this place is extremely popular. The Shakshouka was delicious with rich tomato sauce and eggs and perhaps one of the best I have ever tried. My quail eggs with camembert and goat cheese were superb but unfortunately I found 4 little bones in my salmon so if you order this, which I highly recommend, just be vigilant. Apart from that, the service is quick and the prices are reasonable.

We came in for brunch and had a great experience! We ordered the shakshuka and the pulled pork with fries both were delicious, but the pulled pork was definitely our favorite. Generous portions and very reasonable prices, especially for a spot in a touristy area. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and it was a lovely bonus that dogs are allowed. One of the ladies even brought out a bowl of water for our pup, which we really appreciated. Overall, a cozy place with good food and good vibes would happily come back!

The shaksouka was really nice, although the bun did not taste fresh - it was dry and crusty. The restaurant inside requires better ventilation - I came out smelling of food all over :)

Stepping into Bułka in Toruń, I immediately knew I was in for a treat. The place was buzzing with locals and visitors alike, with people already enjoying their morning coffee and breakfast both inside and on the charming outdoor patio. I managed to snag a seat at the window bar and settled in for a fantastic meal. I ordered the traditional Polish breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious—a perfect, hearty start to the day. My dad opted for the traditional German breakfast, and it looked just as amazing. Beyond the food, Bułka also serves up some incredible specialty coffee. My flat white was expertly made and was the perfect companion to my meal. If you're in Toruń and looking for a great breakfast spot to kick off your day, I can't recommend Bułka enough. It's a popular spot for a reason, offering great food, awesome coffee, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

We were waiting over 1 hour for our burgers. That is ridiculous. One of them came not warm enough. We have asked staff to warto it up. This visit from early beginning was big misunderstanding. When we sit ( 2 people) at table for 4 people they asked us to move to hookers. Sweet poteto fries were good. Burger also tasty.

It took more than 40 min to get our food, despite the fact that place was less than half empty. Which was the only negative thing. Waitress was friendly and spoke well English. But once the food came it was amazing. We took meat plate, absolutely delicious! If you are not in the rush, go to this place!

Service is sloooooow. Like you can probably watch grass grow before you get your food. They seem to have a lot of staff but most of them just stand around and don't do anything. But when the food does eventually come it is excellent.

Fabulous old style restaurant with fantastic food, and service!

This is a nice little gem in Torun. Once you get in your hit with that home cook meal smell and vibe. A lot of traditional dishes which I like cuz why come to another country and eat McDonald's the whole time. Never had goose before, just foie gras. So I got that and some sides. Food was good. Reasons for the 3 stars where the staff wasn't stellar and the dishes come with mushrooms but on the menu it doesn't state it. Overall a nice chill traditional experience.

7 years after our first nice moment in this restaurant, on this 12th of July 2024 we have just to confirm again our comments : "" A nice restaurant to enjoy traditional polish cooking , but also various dishes ,really well prepaired , with good research and so pleasant for taste as well for eyes. Inside at 1st floor, so nice old fashioned separated tables places / cosy.... The staff is Friendly and Efficient .. Avoid the saturday / sunday, as here is a "High table " for polish apparently and which means no place free exceptef by booking. Skynet 35 France Bretagne "" Then happy to recommend it again. 👍 👏🫶

Nice place with some fancifed Polish food. You have to order the meat or protein separately from the carbs and vegetables so you can mix and match. The deer goulash is a hit. Outdoor terrace in summer and lodge type interior upstairs in the summer. The stairs to the restaurant are lined with photos of celebrities who have eaten here. Strangely there’s a glass smoking room upstairs but outside of the main restaurant.

Best meal I've had in Toruń by a long shot. Recommended by a local and didn't dissapoint. Really nice decor, lovely friendly staff, and food to die for*. Traditional Polish cuisine with a delicate contemporary twist. Can't get better than this. Make sure to go up the stairs and not into the other restaurant, like the numpty I am initially did. *Dying for food not recommended

The restaurant was awesome. Friendly staff, vegan options and dogfriendly. The quality of the food and drinks was also really good. I give "only" 4 stars because we came at lunch and they were still serving breakfast food.it was still very good, no doubt. The toilet is next to their basement bakery.

This was a restaurant recommended to me by friends for breakfast or lunch. Sadly, the way our itinerary worked out, we didn't manage either. I did, however, enjoy a beer in the shade people watching. A very relaxing hour indeed. I must say it looked like a lovely venue and was quite busy for a Monday early afternoon.

Not my cuisine (too many flour-and meat-based meals) but found a celery soup and a second meat dish that made my evening. Very delicious yet not my taste. Green tea was fine too. Stuff so friendly and patient to explain every detail. The interior is very cozy and soothing. Lights, dimmed places and the century-old look gives unforgivable taste. If it was for the menu, I'd not go there again. For the look and feel pretty much yes!

Our breakfast experience at this establishment was exceptional. The food, coffee, pastries, and mimosas were all outstanding. The waitress was attentive, provided excellent recommendations, and was proficient in English. Highly recommend for a delightful dining experience.

Cozy little place on a nice, scenic street. We sat outside on a lovely day and quite enjoyed it. I ordered the beef tartare and a nice wheat beer. The tartare was quite decent, although not my favorite in Toruń. It had a nice mix of flavors but a bit course on the chop of beef and a bit too much mustard for my taste, overpowering the other flavors. Service was nice and pleasant thoughout. We were a large group, and service did take awhile, especially considering we were the only customers there.

Again, another recommendation for drinks or food. We visited it late into the evening and what an inviting looking bar it is. We were, however, slightly peckish, so we ordered Nachos with cheese sauce. A big disappointment!! Nachos thrown on a plate with a tiny bowl of warm dipping cheese.!! The drinks, however, were very good and the variety of whisky for a whisky lover is immense. I sampled a 15-year-old Tamhdu and very nice it was. The staff were attentive and managed to understand English with a Yorkshire accent. So all was good.

I’ve been here several times now, Tymothy is an incredible bartender and always a friendly face when you come in to hang out and have a drink. The food is excellent as well. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Great whisky bar with excellent selection of scotch whiskies and spirits. In addition they offer hot chocolate, desserts and small warm dishes like panini. The interior is stylish and inviting, with exposed bricks, comfy armchairs and beautiful ornamental stove. The only downside is a somewhat slow service. Even when the place is mostly empty it can take up to 15 minutes to get a simple order.

Amazing little place to unwind and hangout. Timothy makes amazing drinks, and is great for conversation as well! An absolute must inf you’re in Old Town!

Came across this little Gem while in Torun. Very comfy in a good setting.. The name says it all and I must admit the Coffee is lovely.. Great Selection of Alcohol and the Cakes on the menu are well worth a try.. The Staff are excellent and Speak good English.. Very clean place and well worth a visit if your in that Beautiful part of town.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant tonight!!! The ambience is absolutely beautiful, with cozy seating arrangements and stunning décor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food quality is exceptional, truly beyond words! A special mention goes to the meat—perfectly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The steak I tried was unlike anything I've ever had before—tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious!!! I'm sharing a picture of my dish "Chuleta de Puerco" and can't wait to return for the same incredible experience! Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved the food. Very nice in taste, with good vege options. We ordered the chicken fajitas and the vege fajitas- both were very good. Very long waiting queue- we had to wait for almost 40 min to get a table, however the food was worth it. Definitely worth visiting.

The vibe in this lovely Mexican restaurant was amazing 🤩 The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious 👏🏻👏🏻the spicy meatball soup is a must . Even with a power cut in the middle of service no one was phased in the slightest . Would definitely recommend 👍👍😍

Once we were seated and ordered we were told that there was a reservation for our table and that we had to be done in 45 minutes. Why seat us there? When the food came out we probably had twenty minutes to eat before they started rushing us to pay and removed plates. For starters we ordered a Mojito and a pitcher of the Strawberry Margarita. The Margarita was very weak and just tasted like a slushy. So was the mojito. Recommend ordering a shot in addition. We ordered the hamburguesa and the fajitas. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. The guacamole was pretty good. Overall, my experience wasn’t the best due to being rushed to eat. I would not return to this establishment.

On a Sunday afternoon, round 14:30 we came to a very busy restaurant. Lovely ladies servicing the guests told us the waiting time was an hour and a half but as we wanted to stroll down Philadelphia Boulevard we didn't mind. When we came at 16:00 the table was waiting but it turned out that we need to wait another 45 mins for the food... Hungrily we decided to have some drinks and wait. The restaurant is on the small side, the perk was you could observe chefs cooking, the downside was that 45 mins was spent salivating over delicious smells coming from the BBQ. 45 mins turned into 1:05 waiting. The food was delish but rather on mellow side. Guac was a smooth butter not a usual chunky sauce. Fajita was reasonable but not spicy enough, more like salt and pepper and nothing else. All in all, food was good, service was nice but the time spent waiting for food was ridiculous.

Great staff and great building with fantastic amenities for young children. Food was good too, but nothing to write Home about. But the atmosphere there made up for it and it is a great place to visit with the family.

By far one of the best and most cosy places with excellent food and service. The hamburger in the photo was very delicious with a variety of excellent flavors. The place and food is a must try.

Came here for a quick bite to eat on a Saturday night. It’s not in the centre of town but it’s a big building on a side street. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the waiter we had spoke very good English. The food arrived quickly and it was good. The pizza I had was okay (standard margarita). There was a wide selection on the menu and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back here again!

Wow, I didn't expect that from our little trip to Toruń. So happy to have found this place. Amazing atmosphere - felt like we stepped into the chic venue back in roaring 20s. Polish speak-easy style like in old black and white films. Lovely decor and the service matching the atmosphere. Yet felt very relaxed. Fantastic menu and stylish cocktails - loved it! My steak tartar was the best I've had in long time - hands down! And the goose was delicious. I will surely visit again when in Toruń.

Visit for the first time few days ago with my friend and I really enjoyed. Service was excellent, very helpful and with a smile. Food was great. I had "golonka" which was very tasty and was huge. Atmosphere was excellent with very nice piano player in the background. I will definitely come back.

We've chosen this place for its interior and music. It looks really vintage with a enough dose of elegance and nonchalance to make you feel comfortable. Our only suggestion is to introduce some partitions between tables for a bit more of privacy. But the colour of the walls, the decorations and the piano make it rather irresistible. Now to the waiting service. We've visited twice and twice it was impeccable. The first time it wasn't busy and the waitress paid us a lot of attention, telling us about the history of the place, explaining that they're selling great polish liquors by Baczewski and taking pride in offering typical Polish dishes. She was equally nice to all the customers finding something to talk about to all of them. The second time it was much later, they were very busy yet the waiter was super polite and efficient. The food was great, there is nothing else to be said. Selection is nice, not too little not too much. Menu offers something for vegetarians and children and those looking for the excellency of Polish cuisine. We had beetroot soup with small dumplings and kuyavian sour soup (both times!) Then a pig leg with cooked sour cabbage first time and pork tenderloin on potato pancakes the second, and pike perch with soft noodles. It was absolutely divine. We flushed it down with mulled ginger beer, mulled honey and house wine. All worth to be recommended. We've also tried the tasting set from Baczewski. But it wasn't to our taste, more like vodka than a sweet liquor. However, I'm sure it's worth to try it to get your own opinion. We'll be back definitely!

Went for dinner here last night, wow what a good choice. Menu is varied,bans the food was of the highest quality and in very large portions. Represents excellent value for money. Love the meat and cheese board, and the pork knuckle. Highly recommended.
