Came in the mid afternoon and the sun was so strong. Other spots (sunrise point in Goreme, kizikcukur valley this is very nearby) look nicer.

Beeing on the side on the road you can stop easily for 10 min to take couple of pictures of these nice formations. Nothing special, and very crowded because it's a stop for all agencies. You have to go in the morning

It’s ok to stop by when driving. It looks really good. No entrance fee. 20 minutes is enough to take few pictures, enjoy the view and keep driving.

A nice view, however, considering how many beautiful viewpoints there are in Cappadocia, I am not really sure it fully justifies its fame.

We went with a guide (which was extremely unnecessary) she repeated the same 5 lines about the kings, the ottomans in diff words. It’s worth a visit once if you are in IST, was not super impressed. Grounds were large and everything was walkable.

It is nice to find all the small winery's wines in one place. I was hesitant to give 4 starts because people mentioned about wine tasting but they told us that they do not have that ... I purchased their red and fruit wine and will add that review after I have taste them. They should have different labels for their wine bottles. Now, I do not know which one is red and which one is fruit wine since both bottles have red wine label on them.

Wine tasting after hiking the valley and the rruins is a great reward. So pleasant to take a load off your list feet and taste these excellent local wines!

An authentic and genuine shop owned by a family. We didn't initially plan to visit, neither to buy, but we ended up leaving with a beautiful kilim rug. Orhan is a very knowledgeable and hospitable person along with his family, it was a pleasure to learn from and talk to him.

4 Generations of knowledge! I had an opportunity to spend time with Orhan, his sister, his son and mother. They are absolutely lovely people and very knowledgeable about carpets and kilim. They shared that each one was an original and had its own story. We sat and had tea and talked about many things. The silk carpets are the ones that got me!!! They are so soft and beautiful The carpets are lovely and I would highly recommend you stopping by the gallery and having a look!!!

Awesome store! Orhan and everyone in the store are so welcoming 😊 We weren’t pressured to buy anything and they explained the origin and meaning of the various carpets. There are many different styles and designs. All of the carpets are unique and I even ended up buying a small one at a great price. Orhan was really helpful and has lots of knowledge about the area and Türkiye in general. He even offered to take us to meet the nomadic people in September when he goes to buy carpets from them! So hopefully when we drive back we can go with him 😁 Thank you for such nice hospitality and all the info. Definitely recommend stopping by when your in the area 👌

Orhan is a generous and delightful aficionado! An expert at his trade, his knowledge and passion for his rugs is unlike any other. He has a contagious smile and is generous in spirit! We spent 3 days in town and visited him for tea regularly! He was warm and accommodating and offered us some amazing art at reasonable prices. If your seeking a friendly rug expert go no where else! The owner was amazing, he sat with me and told me the story of the symbols on the kilim rugs. They are high quality rugs. I bought two very beautiful ones. It was more than just buying a rug, it was a great enriching experience.

We had a wonderful time exploring this genuine cave house, preserved from the 1920s with thousands of years of history in the carved sections of the home. This is a museum run by the family who used to live here, so it's very special. The tunnels are cool. Lovely welcome, and we had a tea and speciality coffee while enjoying the atmosphere.

Amazing place! The building and the tunnels have been lovingly and very professionally restored. There are information boards everywhere, including in English. The operators are the descendants of the people who once lived here. The visit here was one of my highlights in Ürgüp and that for only 40 tl. A must see 🙂 (They also have an interesting YouTube channel with various videos about cappadocian traditions and history)

The hidden gem of Cappadocia! What an incredible museum showing a beautiful look into how the caves were used. This was once a family home and has been wonderfully restored. I'd advise you walk to the top of the hill and enter the museum there. Explore the museum (descending the 5 floors) and exit at the bottom. They use a series of scannable bar codes that allows you to get more information on each area. A wonderful idea. I wish I had taken my kids, age 7 & 5 (they stayed at the bottom as they were too tired of hills), as they would have LOVED it!

The museum is very nice, it takes around 30 min to do the tour and the ticket is very affordable (100 tl).

This is the best place in Cappadocia to experience the local traditions. We have visited many stone caves in the area but this is the only one that has been brought back to life. The owner of this place is generous enough to renovate the family house which dates back to several generations and open it for the public to see how people used to live inside them. He is super friendly and explained to us in detail how different traditional tools were used in those days. We could even try the traditional way to make wine. I highly recommend this authentic experience!

This House Museum Will be forever very, very special to me. I wont go into details but I will be forever grateful with Ömer the owner of the house. Its a beautiful and amazing place to visit to really get in touch with what was to be actually living here, before everything went boutique Hotels. In reality my heart will be forever a little in Urgup. Such a beautiful town with such beautiful and warm people. Dont hesitate and explore what this house has to offer! ♥️

Very wonderful place. Mother and daughter who run it are extremely nice and friendly. They demonstrated ebru on paper and on a scarf! They told us the story behind certain designs in their culture which was also insightful. Highly recommend a visit!

Good food and services, stunning view. It’s our best meal we have had in Turkey so far. The restaurant has a large parking lot. We missed the center of Urgup because parking problems and driving in the center at lunch time were crazy. We’re lucky to fall in this lovely restaurant.

Perfect! That’s the food I have missed after my trip. The boss spoke good English so you will have no problem to communicate with them. He explained the use of each spice (in the three little bowls) This is a family-run restaurant and you can tell that they did not add fancy spices to the food but keep the food simple but retained the original Turkish tastes. The food was heart-warming and on spot. I ordered potato manti that the yogurt on top was delicately amazing. The tastiness was beyond words! The savoury yogurt was so fresh with the minty coolness which matched so well with the manti. Also, the Turkish tomato fried eggs were flavourful. I’m not a fan of green peppers but they had the skills to make it so tasty in the egg pots. It was served hot and quick. The salad and bread were free. The manti is 250 lira and yogurt drink is 15 lira. Can’t remedy the price for the egg pot. I clearly remember the total costs less than 10 USD! Really really good price!

Was excited to try this for our only dinner in Cappadocia, but was sorely disappointed. Plus points were that food prices were average and service was prompt and friendly. However, food left much to be desired. We ordered beef adana kebab and chicken sac tava. The meal came with cold bread and salad with an extremely sour dressing. The beef seemed slightly raw / pink in the center and had the same smell as the poultry/deli section in a wet market, which made us lose our appetites. The chicken sac tava was average and portion size was small. We ate a similar selection for lunch during our tour in Göreme and it was many times better, so I doubt it is because our palate is not used to the cuisine.

The food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the Sac Tava and the chicken skewer, both full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We would rate it 4.5 stars only because the Manti were not the best we’ve tried, but everything else was excellent. We didn’t try the pottery kebab, though it looked amazing at the neighboring tables. Highly recommended for a cozy, authentic dining experience in Ürgüp.

I went here for lunch with my best friend a few days ago. The vegetarian Turkish ravioli was so delicious I feel I would come back to Capadoccia just to eat that again. I have thought about the ravioli at least five times a day since I had it. Even now, sitting at a restaurant in London a few days later, I am thinking of the ravioli. It melted in my mouth, fresh and handmade. All the flavors were amazing. Thank you so much for the meal of a lifetime. The host and everyone there was also so kind.

A spectacular find! More like dining in someone’s home than a restaurant and for a worthwhile cause - providing employment for local women and helping put young female students through university. Our children loved watching the women expertly rolling and folding manti shapes, which we devoured later. The highlights were içli köfte (most flavoursome we’ve had in Türkiye), stuffed vine leaves (dainty numbers full of flavour over filling, rather than fat over-stuffed varieties that gives this delicacy a bad name), and a miraculous köfte and pasta dish that looked bland on the plate but was also packed with the flavour - the silky short fettucine like pasta was dusted with crushed pumpkin seeds but there was something else sweet snd floral lurking in the background. Such kindness and generosity shown to us throughout. The place was packed by the time we’d finished, and no surprises why.

Love this home cooking style restaurant managed by few local women! The food is great, authentic and reasonably priced. It’s got that ‘home’ feeling from the moment you step into it. Almost every dish is recommended. But I personally recommend Yoghurt Soup, Turkish Ravioli, and Tik Tik specialties.

Would highly recommend! The food is well priced and delicious. You can see the meat balls and pasta being freshly prepared. The deserts are yummy! The women who work here are very friendly and though there was a language barrier we had zero problems communicating. We ordered the vine leaves, fried meatballs, meat manti, cheese dumplings and sausage pasta - all good and standouts were the manti and cheese dumplings. Nice terrace, however, mediocre food on the pricier side in town. Had the Clay Pot Kebab, which was bland, and the Yogurtlu Kebab, which tasted good, but drowned in oil (see photo). Portions and provided sides were small. Had an apple and a cinnamon tea after, which tasted like nothing. All in all, not the best option for a nice dinner…

The food was average. I ordered the cheese menemen and clotted cream with honey. Unfortunately, the clotted cream was runny—not the rich, thick texture I expected. The menemen was also underwhelming; I’ve had much better elsewhere. There’s definitely room for improvement.

I had dinner at this restaurant last night and I have to say, it was absolutely fantastic. The food was so fresh, you could really taste the quality of every single ingredient, and everything was prepared with so much love. The portions were just right, generous and satisfying, a truly authentic Turkish taste experience that I won’t forget anytime soon. The location is great, and the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. The owner of the restaurant and shop was also wonderful, and we had a really nice little conversation with him. All in all, it was a wonderful evening, the food was amazing, and I can genuinely recommend this place to everyone.

The food is excellent. We had dolma (onions stuffed with rice), green beans with tomatoes and peppers, shepherd salad and potatoes. Everything was delicious. The fresh lemonade was wonderful. We walked in for late dinner and had a very warm welcome and a warm spot right next to the fire. The place has so much character and quirky in a sense. I tried a combination of local wine - Turkish style 😉😉😍 and the food was amazing! There after we went to the gift shoppe which explained the decoration in the restaurant. Highlight was meeting Selim and listening to him talk. All is all, Dining in Ziggy is a must if you are in Cappadocia 😍. Totally recommend it. We revisited Ziggy again and tried some other dishes which was spectacular!! My husband loved the steak!! Service was spot on as before. 😍. Got a photo of the plate before and after 😉😉. We also tried the Ziggy’s special dessert 🍨! Loved it !!

Ziggy’s has it all… incredible views of the town, delicious food and superb service which all comes together for a wonderful dining experience. We sat atop the terrace which boasted some breathtaking views of the historic and natural landscape. The staff was super attentive and kind. We ordered the Meze platter so we could have a taste of everything, highly recommend it!

The panoramic view from the top is absolutely worth a visit if you're in town – breathtaking and memorable! The entrance ticket costs 20 lira, which is reasonable for the experience. There are a few benches to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Near the entrance, there’s a lovely tea café offering a beautiful view of the city, perfect for a relaxing moment. The site also includes the tomb of ancient rulers, but unfortunately, the doors are locked. You can peek inside through the unglazed windows, though I wouldn’t recommend it – the area smells strongly of cat excrement, which is disappointing and reflects poorly on how such historical landmarks are maintained. Despite this, the main attraction—the view—is still a must-see!

It's a fantastic spot for photography, offering great opportunities to capture memorable shots. A must-visit for a magical experience.

Temenni Tepesi is a must-visit viewpoint in Ürgüp. The climb up the hill is fairly short but offers a rewarding panoramic view of the entire town and the surrounding Cappadocian landscape. The giant Turkish flag and the image of Atatürk painted on the rock give the site a strong cultural presence—it’s not just scenic, it’s symbolic. There’s a small café at the base and a few souvenir shops nearby, so you can grab a drink before heading up. We went early in the day before it got crowded, and the peace up there was incredible. A great place to sit, reflect, and take in the landscape that defines this magical region. Highly recommend visiting close to opening (9 AM) for softer light and fewer people. If you’re already in Ürgüp, it’s an easy walk from the town center.

Balloons ride was nothing short of magical. As the sun rose over the surreal landscape, we drifted gently above the valleys with their breathtaking charm. The panoramic views were unforgettable, and the entire journey was smooth and professionally handled. To top it off, we were treated to a complimentary non alcoholic drink after landing, adding a perfect touch to an already extraordinary morning. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I’m very fortunate to be able to experience this twice in 2 years and cannot express how impressed we were with this pilot/company. A good pilot can elevate your experience to the next level. Our pilot Cağdaş Güner (& crew) was amazing. There were hundreds of balloons capturing the sunrise, BUT we were one of the very few to dip into Love Valley for our flight. For our whole flight, we were in or above this beautiful valley and it was exceptional.

Unforgettable, one in a lifetime experience, delivered in a very professional, comfortable and safe manner. From the 4.20 am pick-up from our hotel, to the simply breath-taking views during our hour long flight with an exciting but soft landing with celebratory drink and certificate, and ending in a return to our hotel and beds by 6.30 am, this felt like a surreal dream!

I saw that they had the Turkish ravioli or kayseri manti and kunefe which I’ve been waiting to eat all trip. Both were AMAZING. The pasta was spiced perfectly and had a wonderful sour flavor from the yogurt sauce, they also give you bread to sop up the sauce. The Kunefe was FRESH and delicious, not too sweet at all. I would 100000% recommend coming here for well priced authentic Turkish food.

The Turkish food was fresh, flavorful, and simply delicious—I enjoyed it so much that I went three nights in a row! You can choose to sit inside or outside, both of which offer a comfortable atmosphere. On my last evening, I was kindly treated to a piece of baklava, which was not only delicious but also a lovely gesture of hospitality. I can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic, tasty food and warm service.

I stayed in Ürgüp for 5 days, and every evening I ate here. The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it with great pleasure and confidence.

Authentic turkish, local cuisine - smack bang in the very midst of town. There's real soul & flavour in the food here; that little extra touch. That can be a rare find in the touristic parts of Turkey. The künefe & the Adana kebab is a must! It does get busy around peak time, lots of pedestrian traffic and walkerbys - and not that many tables, most in high demand. So do try to get here in time, or better yet make a reservation, either trough the website or trough your hotel's reception/concierge.

Lovely place and cozy vibes. We reached this place after not finding a couple of restaurants and we were damn hungry and frustrated. This place offered some really refreshing new dishes for us in Turkey and vegetarian options were good. We had mixed salad with cheese, spaghetti napolitan, Turkish pancake / Gozleme (cheese bread with tomatoes and chilli pepper), Menemet and Borek with spinach. Service was great and owner/manager kind and patient with our vegetarian request and choices.

Nice place with special food and good atmosphere. Tried local ravioli and some pistachio dessert. Both meals where cooked for us. Ravioli were served with three types of spices that you can add to the dish. Loved that. Delicious coffee as well.

I love walking into a small mom & pop joint and knowing that I'm about to eat some authentic, home cooked food. The ambience is rustic but authentic and so was the food and people. I ordered curry chicken and lentil soup. I admit I did add salt and the red seasoning that was on table as the food needed something to bring out it's true flavors. Once I did that, it was delicious! I left my takeout leftovers on accident and the lady who worked there ran after me over 1 block to make sure I got it! Now that's service ! Would definitely go back !

I was looking to eat vegetarian food and also wanted to have the beans stew (fasule) and once I saw they had it in their menu went straight there. It was soooo tasty, very home-made! The rice (pilaf) was included as a side dish and that was super yummy! The lentil soup and dolmas were just extra! 😍 I ate twice the same food in this restaurant during my stay, because it was simple yet so delicious, which gave me the feeling I was home and calmed me before and after the trail-run. But now I regret for not trying something else additionally. Prices were very affordable. The two times I was there, was just one women preparing the food in the kitchen (moms style :) ); seems a family-owned place, with genuine service.

Very delicious Turkish food! I had the eggplant stew and my boyfriend had manti. Highly recommend a stop in. The quality of food given the price can’t be beat! We also enjoyed chatting with the staff to learn more about the city and ended up with some great recommendations.

We landed in this restaurant accidently and were totally surprised by the hospitality of the owner and the super tall server Micheal. The food was relishing and fingerlicking. Micheal was super friendly and always smiling. We tried Adana kebab, liver kebab, pide and meat stew. I truly recommend this restaurant. To add to all this the owner and the chef also gave us a lesson on how to make Adana skewer kebabs. Thank you Micheal.

Paris, the waiter, was very kind. He speaks a nice English and he gave us a very nice food recomendation. There is a cool atmosphere at the terrace and price has a very good quality balance!!

Food was pretty good, service not. They mixed up order, cooking a new one took to much time. Perhaps on purpose. Instead of apologizing and offering a discount, they started arguing. There are plenty of much more proper places in Ürgüp.

We ate at few places here but none like this. I understand this is off season and most of the restaurants don't serve fresh food but this place really surprised us. AMAZING ! It’s the first time after a while that I want to give more than 5 stars ! Everything was great ! Food, service and atmosphere all extraordinary. The taste of the meat and everything we ordered is above expectations. Not to mention the view of Cappadocia! The owner is an architect that has given so much effort in details that truly matter. He has designed everything from scratch, the swords on the walls, the decoration, even the forks! ⚔️🥩🍗 And it’s so difficult to make a thematic restaurant do not look kitsch, so kudos from us. 😍 There is also a historical cave on the basement that he happily showed us and informed us about its history. And also a shop. It’s a bit pricey, but believe me it worths every penny! PS: If you’re into fantasy worlds, it would be like a dream for you :)

Great place. Concept and decorations are according to the barbarian concept and very pretty. We ordered the barbarian brisket board for 2. Portion size was great. The meat tastes amazing. Sauces were great. Memorable and a nice experience.

Absolutely the best turkey leg ever and I've had many!!! I also enjoyed the ribs and roasted garlic 🧄 with my family. The meats ware juicy and fell off the bone, seasoned to perfection. We enjoyed every detail, & let me tell you the owner takes such pride in his art of design and I appreciated it from the cutlery, booth design , music, & everything in-between. Bravo! Ps we also saw a fox at the door because the owner came and told us to look. Very cool!!!

Not stopping by Barbarian when you’re near Cappadocia is a huge misfortune. Everyone passing through needs to soak in this atmosphere. The flavors and textures of the food take you on an incredible journey. Also, the mulled wine is made with a Dutch recipe, just like the ones in Belgium. I highly recommend it!

Mazı village, whose ancient name was "Mataza", is 18 km south of Ürgüp and 10 km east of Kaymaklı Underground City. Today, only 2 floors of the underground city, which is thought to have four floors, can be visited. Four entrances were identified in different places, the main entrance is through a corridor made of irregular stones. The large bolt stone in the short corridor ensures the entrance and exit of the underground city under control. The small room in the interior is made for the sliding stone to move easily. The barns spread over large areas of the underground settlement are no different from the others. From the stables, a short corridor leads to the church of the underground city. The entrance of this place can be closed with a bolt stone. The underground city, the Mazı Underground City Landscaping Project, which was closed to visitors since 2003 due to the safety of life due to collapses, was completed and opened to visitors again in July 2015.

Our first underground city to visit and we were quite surprised on how well they preserved this place.. Well maintained place with at least 2 to 3 hours of time to spend inside. You can park your car, clean toilets are available inside, and small grocery shop to buy some snacks or drinks available nearby. Fun part to go around the tunnels , look at the different living rooms , a church , stone doors , water well, communication holes , bedrooms , baths , kitches, etc...

Ancient underground caves with complete system for living. Must visit places if one likes history and Archeology

Lovely hidden gem. Not busy like the other underground cities - a local told us about it. You can ask the ticket booth for a guide they will help you out. It was also much cheaper than the other cities which were almost 5x the price.

Very nice! We liked it much better than famous Kaymakli and Derinkuyu. It is much cozy and comfortable to walk, at the same time you have little visitors and it is not less impressive! City is very spectacular, and people who work there are very kind. We was told today the whole story about each room in the city, that was made our day, thank you very much! Strongly recommend to visit :)

Walking in the caves that were made habitable and still many caves are not even excavated. The ability of the human race to live in adversities is amazing. It reminded me of the sub terrain anthill like living spaces in Saigon Vietnam, both were to escape and survive against enemies (sadly other humans) but the connectors and ventilation created is fascinating. It's a village underneath 😯🤩

It is not so deep comparatively rather it might be the smallest one. The underground city has 3 entrances. Derenkyu kàymakli are deeper than this. Get a guide obviously otherwise you will not understand what is what!! If you have a short time to complete all the view points then choose Mazi.

Very interesting archeological excavation that is surrounded by almond tree groves. There were no other visitors in the middle of a beautiful day.

Truly amazed to see something old and well preserved. The mosaics, the ruins it is always makes me think about the people who lived there, who built that city. Anyway it is free to see, and if you are lucky can pick some Apple from the tree.

We visited yesterday this small ancient city , which is still under restoration ,but you can visit without entrance fee yet. It hasn't changed too much since my last visit, but restoration take some time and probably funding.

Not a lot to see and there’s no description anywhere. Btw, the apples are really good; just pick the small ones, the big ones aren’t sweet.

There are many apple trees nearby this ruin city. I swear they are the best apple ever.

Little known site with quite well preserved mosaics

Visited in late March and we were the only ones there! Guided by a lovely old guy looking after the monastery during its renovation. Another stunning example of architecture carved from the 'rock'.

29. 8. 2022 According to google navigation, this place can be easily found. A pleasant, quiet walk through the beautiful grounds of the monastery with rock-hewn buildings and two churches. Great place, the main church which dates back to the XIII century is under renovation but the frescos are not to deteriorated as other churches in the region (the main frescos is under renovation). The place is beautiful and really peaceful and big up to the bossman which is really kind (free çay) and guides you around the places. Keep this hidden gem from mass tourism

Entry is 100TL. There is a guardian, when you enter the place. It is actually a complex consisting of different churches and some other rooms. It's bigger than I thought and you can spend between 30min to 45min here if you visit all caves around. There is a small parking space just in front of the entrance. It fits around 5 cars and it's free. When we were there there was almost no cars, so it should be ok to park ;) I recommend this place as it's very calm and not full of tourists, and the price is decent for the size of the place

Worth visiting the churches. Bring an empty bottle to take from the water from the ayazmo. You can wash your face and hands with the healing water.

Fantastic place for people interested in ancient history. The guard speaks descent english and can give you brief explanation about the monasteries.

What a hidden treasure! We had an amazing personal tour of this unique museum during a visit to Mustafapasa. The contents comprise one woman's life work, which is the creation of dolls from completely natural materials with super intricate clothing and accessories that she made by hand. The dolls represent figures throughout the history of Turkey including real people as well as representations of what regular people from different eras looked like and did. You could easily spend hours going through all of the things to see, which also included dolls from around the world that have been donated to the museum. We also got to meet the artist herself who has been doing this work for more than 40 years. This was a really special experience!

Definitely worth a visit. A peculiar small museum, a cabinet of curiosities of sorts. You will hear many interesting stories about Turkish and world customs, costumes, history and peoples, all told through handmade dolls from all over the globe.

Visiting Cappadocia Art & History Museum has been a magical experience, both for me and my girlfriend. We stumbled upon this museum almost by accident while travelling Cappadocia by scooter, and it ended up being one of the most wholesome experiences we have ever had. The art pieces allow you to travel through all of Turkey’s history, all while being exceptionally guided with a precise and thorough spoken description, provided by the owners, who are, overall, the greatest part of all the visit to the museum. The family who runs the museum is just incredible, the most wonderful people we have met in all our travels. They will welcome you and make you feel part not only of Turkey’s history, but of what lays behind the creation of such art pieces. Enjoyable afternoon, tour of the museum and history lesson. Impressive variety dolls made from all around the world.

We visited as part of a conference in town and were so impressed with the stories Serkan shared with us as he guided us around. All of the dolls reflect different cultures, groups and regions, and there are a number of other art pieces, collectibles and displays on site. We met the wonderful artist and learned her story and background while we toured. Highly recommended for the impressive collection, wonderful location and gracious hosts.

A small private museum. Name somewhat deceiving as the collection is probably 40% Cappadocia focused and the rest overall Turkey and dolls from all over the world. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed it

My son and I really enjoyed our visit to the museum today which we stumbled across quite by accident. It has lots of interesting and curious things to see. The lady that welcomed us at the door gave us a private tour which included the views from the roof terrace. We also found the building itself quite fascinating-definitely worth a visit.

We ate dinner here every night during our 5 night stay in Mustafapaşa. Fabulous value for money and very good service. I think the four of us tried almost everything on the menu. Make sure you order the San Sebastian cheesecake....yummmmm!! Average cost of a main meal, dessert and çay for all 4 people was $70 Australian in total. We went there multiple times during our stay in Mustafapasa. They are so friendly and their food is really delicious. We liked everything we tried. Especially Pizza and Salads were some of the best we've had in Turkey.

Good salads!! And the steak was cooked perfectly. It has a nice atmosphere and lots of light. We did order a desert that tasted freezer burnt. But the rest of the food was beyond delicious :) Omur was also a great sever and so kind :)

Cappadocia is a magnificent place. The coffee museum seems not very popular among the locals. It was the last place we visited before we left so it gave us the final touches of Cappadocia. It is not only a museum. You can spend wonderful time drinking coffee there while looking at the beautiful exhibits. You may also visit the art gallery, the zoo and the pottery workshop. It is interesting to walk around. You feel like we are in a luxurious cave city.

The name of this place is somewhat misleading. It is not your typical museum. The building houses a museum, few shops and cafes. The museum is very small showcasing items relating to Turkish coffee. The shops sell special handmade furniture, accessories, coffee ware and related items. We had Turkish coffee in of the cafes and it was really good. I loved how they served the coffee. It was very elegant.

Great place where you can see a coffee museum and enjoy fantastic coffee! The variety of different traditional coffee types is amazing! We had a guided tour in the museum by Nazha, who gave us plenty of interesting facts about coffee tradition! She is a great guide.

So funny story… my partner and I accidentally set foot into Ajwa while exploring the historic sites. We were bewildered when the sand underfoot suddenly gave way to paved roads and a beautiful LARGE palace fit for sultans. (The staff who saw us looked equally bewildered to see us.) On our way to being directed out, we stumbled upon this coffee museum (which we thought was a history museum), and ended up enjoying a little high tea saffron coffee set and a honey cake. They were all DELIGHTFUL!! ♥️ Throughout our journey of fortunate mistakes, we were curious as to why Mustafapasa isn’t more popular with tourists. This little cafe would for sure be a big hit with their coffee and their sweets (which unfortunately I can’t post because I took a video instead of a photo). The decorations around are pretty and interesting to look at too, and all contribute to a relaxing ambience.

The coffee museum was a fun and unique place to visit if you are in the area. There were many old coffee making devices and cups from around the world. The coffee was also delicious and served in a beautiful way.

Odd experience that had its upsides! The ‘museum’ is on an upscale hotel estate, and on the face of it not worth the entry fee (it is tiny). Other than that there’s an art gallery, a shop selling expensive crockery, and a café selling beautiful and expensive cake. And delicious. As was the Turkish coffee, which looks expensive on the menu (170 lira) but it comes on a little stand with lavender cordial, water, a very nice chocolate, and an exceptionally smooth, well-made coffee. So come for that, not the museum!

Hagia Eleni is a Greek church in the village Sinassos, today called Mustafapaşa. Today this church from 1850 serves as a small museum and occasionally as a concert hall. The museum tells about the Greek history of the village and its inhabitants. Once a year the Greek Orthodox Patriarch comes from Istanbul to celebrate a mass. The ancient feeling will bring you back to thousands years ago, you will feel some sacred atmosphere here! the painting on the wall are interesting.

We visited the Church of Saints Constantine and Helena in Mustafapaşa, and unfortunately, it was a complete waste of time and money. The entrance fee of 50 Turkish lira feels like a joke, considering there is absolutely nothing to see inside. The interior is empty, with no original frescoes or decorations, and looks more like a storage room than a historical site. There’s no information, no guides, and no explanation of why this place should be worth visiting. We came expecting a beautiful historic site, but were left with bare walls and a strong sense of being ripped off. Maybe it would be acceptable as a quick stop if it were free or cheaper, but at the current price, I definitely do not recommend it.

Interesting old church worthy of half an hour stop, if you are in Mustafapasa. The church is crumbling but has many informative boards (some also in bad condition, sadly).

Zeferan Restaurant at AJWA Cappadocia is a dining experience to remember! The food was incredible, the ambiance phenomenal, and the service was absolutely flawless. Mr. Ertughrul, Gokhan, and Ramil were also phenomenal—they run an exceptional team and made us feel like royalty. The food was superb especially Mixed Grill, and every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Team at Zeferan takes immense pride in what they do. Visited to celebrate a birthday and I was able to order a small cake in advance to be brought out, which was nice. The menu options were interesting and the food was absolutely delicious, but the restaurant seemed a bit too fancy to have so many flies indoors disturbing our meal. After two of them fell into our water glasses, the server took them away but did not replace them with fresh drinking water or even apologize, and they also missed a couple of drink orders.

We had only a coffee and a salad, bit it was very good. Waiter Mehmet was also very kind. I think they needed much time for a simple espresso, but the view and the park were worth the waiting. We come definitely back!

You have to try this restaurant, I higly recommend. We tried their “masterchef challenge” and it was amazing. The food was tasty, atmosphere was great and the staff was very nice especially Erdal, Hasan and Fatma. They prepared amazing menu including fire and smoke, we even could do painting on our plates or prepare salads, we also went to the kitchen and the end of the dinner was magical too. I also have allergies and they prepared the food without the allergens. Thank you for the experience:)

Turkish farm to table experience across from the local University in a quaint square off the beaten track.. A little more expensive than the cluster of cafes in the center of town but well worth it. Four of us dined off the Turkish breakfast for two and it was simply divine and more than enough. Enjoy!

Found this little quaint coffee shop and eatery in the outskirts of Mustafapasha in Turkey. The service was superb and the staff was very courteous and friendly. The hostess Berfin even offered us a local custard while we waited for our coffee and beef and cheese rolls. Delicious!

It’s such a nice vibe for wine either open air seat or indoor seat. It’s just next to a small park. I came here for a glass of wine and came again in the evening with a group. Berfin has done a great job and there are also some handsome guys.
