Nauset Lighthouse, a charming red and white lighthouse dating back to 1838, is a must-visit landmark on Cape Cod. It offers seasonal tours and features interpretive signage that tells the story of its relocation from Chatham to Eastham. The lighthouse serves as a warning to passing boats with its alternating red-and-white light visible for 23 miles every 10 seconds. Visitors can climb the tight corkscrew stairs on certain days for panoramic views.
Nice views from the lighthouse. Another 10 minutes walk on the trail and you can visit the Three Sister's. The parking lot is well maintained and the adjacent beach is stunning (paid parking lot). The Three Sister's parking lot is free but only for half hour (accessible through Nauset Beach Light Road).

We visited on a late Monday afternoon in mid-June 2025. There was plenty of parking in the parking lot. There was no one in the booth during our visit and no way to really pay. I wonder if they were understaffed and just couldn't put someone here. If you have the NPS Pass then you're good. We did sit ours on our dashboard just in case. But it's $25 per vehicle and $15 per person if you're walking or biking in. We were here to get our picture with our potato chip bag like many others were doing during our visit. We saw like 4 or 5 other groups looking to do the exact same time. You kind of unofficially wait in line for your turn. There are different angles you can time but to get the one perfectly with the photo on the chip bag you have to stand like in middle of the road. It was very picturesque in late evening. There are a few kiosks with signs and additional structures. We didn't have much time here so we didn't really explore more than just the light house and then moved onto the three sisters light houses. There is a trail here to walk down to the other light houses but it was easier just to walk back to our car and drive down the street. Overall we would probably visit again and explore more of the area and maybe actually hang out at the beach. It's too bad you can't go up into the light house.

Once you arrive at the lighthouse by car, you have to pay around $20 for the large parking lot with clean restrooms. The clerk said that the parking ticket was valid for all parking spaces with beach access for that day. The beautiful lighthouse makes a perfect Instagram motif, with the famous Cape Cod Chips brand. Here you'll also find one of the oldest transatlantic submarine cable stations and other small twin lighthouses. The path to the beautiful Nauset Light Beach leads through a beautiful coastal forest. Once you get down there, you'll be greeted by friendly beach patrols at the beach entrance. The beach has very fine sand, and here and there you'll find surfers with a decent swell. If you're lucky, you might see seals. But be careful: where seals swim, there are also the notorious predators, see the signs near the beach.

My husband and I visited Nauset Lighthouse on 10-31-25. The beach area was so clean and beautiful. I was so lucky to find some special rocks that someone had painted. It made me smile, and yes I took one. The lighthouse was beautiful and well taken care of. Definitely a great place to visit and have lunch. Maybe even go swimming 😳 . There was no charge to visit the lighthouse or beach area when we went, due to the Government shutdown. The bathrooms were not open during our visit.
Reenie H — Google review
Volunteers tell you the history of the lighthouse before you step inside. Then another guide tells you more when you reach the top. They bring up about 15 people at a time. No admission fee charged, but donations are encouraged. They have a prop Cape Cod Potato Chip bag to take photos with which was cool. Very nice people volunteering. Worth a stop.

The iconic Nauset Lighthouse, is situated exactly in the Cape's mid point, in the Eastham, MA. During the off season the parking is free (during the season June to September it is $20), and the restrooms are closed. The lighthouse is easily accessible. You probably noticed this lighthouse on the famous New England Cape Cod's chips. You can walk down to the ocean, the beach is clean, the sand is so soft, and the water is so clean. We have even spotted a seal there. Near the Nauset Lighthouse, there is a trail to non working Three sisters lighthouses. You can walk there around 5 minutes, or you can drive there, as they have a small 30min free parking lot there.

We had a lovely time at Nauset Light on Cape Cod. It’s exactly the kind of place you imagine when you think of New England lighthouses. The red & white tower stands out beautifully against the sky, and walking toward it through dunes and scrub gives you that classic coastal vibe. The lighthouse has a rich history. It was originally built in 1877 and then moved to its current Eastham location in 1923. Over time it’s been relocated further from the eroding cliff edge to preserve it. The surrounding area is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, and there’s Nauset Light Beach just below the cliffs. Take time to walk around, enjoy views from the dunes, maybe hit the beach afterward, and don’t forget your camera — this lighthouse is more than just a landmark; it feels like folklore come to life. Parking can fill up early in the day, so it’s good to arrive early.

Loved getting to see this beautiful light in person on our 15th wedding anniversary. The actual light house is privately owned and occupied, so there is no tour to really go on, but make sure you walk the trail from the main light down to The Three Sisters. There you'll find the three lights that used to stand and signal on the coastline, but have since been moved back, and what's left of them preserved from coastline erosion.

The Three Sisters Lighthouses, located in Ocean View Drive, Eastham, were restored in 1989 and are named for their ladylike appearance. Originally created to provide light halfway along Cape Cod's eastern coastline, these lighthouses offer picturesque views of the shoreline and opportunities to engage with colonial history. Visitors can also explore other nearby lighthouses such as Wings Neck Light and Race Point Light while enjoying a stay at one of Cape Cod's charming bed and breakfasts.
Cool historic site with three preserved lighthouses. There are historical plaques at the site and on certain days from 10am-2pm, you can enter the lighthouses.

We visited on a late Monday afternoon in mid-June 2025. We were the only car in the parking lot and there were probably 6 spots total include a ADA spot. There were signs that said Visitor parking only and only for 30 mins. No beach access. So I guess sometimes people try to park here and walk down to the beach. There is a short walking trail to the 3 lighthouses. Sadly it looked like only one of the tops survived. They look really cool and I like how they were spread out across the the field area. There is a paved asphalt path to two of the lights so it's ADA accessible. There was one kiosk explaining the history. There was also a picnic table. I guess you could eat here but the parking is only 30 mins so it be a quick picnic. Overall it was wroth the one visit, not sure we'd visit again as there isn't much here other than the 3 light houses and mosquitos. If you're walking and moving it's fine but they got us while we were reading the kiosk. It was early evening when we visited so they were probably extra active.

While visiting Nauset Lighthouse in Easton, MA, you can walk from the parking lot about 5 to 7 minutes to the Three Sisters Lighthouses. There are direction signs. Or you can even drive there, as there is a free parking lot there too. The lighthouses are very small, and non functional. In the past, they were placed closer to the ocean, and helped the sailors to understand that they were exactly at the Cape's mid point.
Rose D — Google review
These were very underwhelming and seemed to be in disarray. They are in a small field but seem to be left to deteriore. They have pieces falling off them and two of them don't even have the lights on them anymore. It would be better if they had paved paths going to them and if they were maintained. I know it would cost money to do all that but do what Nobska is doing and ask for donations or sell bricks to make the path with the purchasers name on it. Just a thought.
Sbedford7252 — Google review
Coming from Michigan I was surprised how short these were. Perhaps they were taller in real life. The parking lot was unexpectedly full. The lighthouse’s were just around the corner, quick easy walk. Worth a peek.

I sopped here on a Saturday on my way to P-Town. 3 Cute little light houses. Small parking lot, but if you park there and follow the trail it brings you to the Nauset light house right up the road.

Cute well maintained row of 3 lighthouses. Parking lot right next to them. Worth a stop for anyone who likes to visit lighthouses.

A very interesting piece of Cape Cod maritime history. A quick stop to see these lighthouses, but worth it in the way back from Nauset Lighthouse and beach.

Nauset Light Beach is a picturesque and spacious swimming beach located in Eastham, Massachusetts. It features the iconic Nauset Lighthouse, known for its appearance on Cape Cod Potato Chips bags. The beach offers large waves suitable for bodysurfing or board surfing and is equipped with amenities such as restrooms, showers, and a seasonal bathhouse. Additionally, there are lifeguards on duty to ensure safety.
A beautiful beach with ample parking and a lovely path leading to the shore. The dunes and waves were very impressive. We saw several seals frolicking in the water, and there were rumors of a great white shark sighting. The sand is soft and clean; a beautiful beach! The lighthouse is toward the end of the parking lot - not as rusticly beachfront as I expected (it had to be moved inland years ago due to beach erosion), but still very picturesque for a few photos on our way out.
Diane L — Google review
Such a great beach with the 3 Sisters lighthouses close by, the lighthouse was using its red & white signals on 1 day while I visited. There were plenty of large Grey seals <6ft from the surf, yet stupid people entering water just left of their appearance, come on! Pay attention to the posted warnings ⚠️, not put there for "tourists " geez. In late September, park no longer collects fees, so was free=nice surprise! Here on sunny day & rainy day, beach remains clean. This beach sports public bathrooms, handicapped parking, picnic tables, benches down the pathway to the beach. Like the blue mats they've placed along the pathway closer to the beach, makes walking much easier. Plenty of room here, even though it is still "in season " until after Halloween, noticed plenty of families enjoying the beach. If you have little children, just be sure to keep an eye on them as the surf could come in faster than you expect/much stronger than it appears.

We came because we had two dogs with us. A few other people had theirs too. Very comfortable beach. There are changing rooms and toilets and everything. I loved the trees on the path leading up to the water : it felt like an island. Nice, fine sand. Would definitely come back. It seems like the parking here is really expensive during the regular season but we came off season on a nice day.
Nicole G — Google review
As someone who was born and raised on the Cape, this is one of the least enjoyable beaches for me. Cons: Abundance of seals very close to shore. Anyone with small children should avoid this beach at all costs. Extremely large groups of seals not even 15 feet from the shore. People will argue seals are harmless, but I would never feel safe letting any child, or myself, be within feet of 500lb sea creatures with fangs. Additionally, the water here is FREEZING. It is the last week of July and the water isn't even 60 degrees. Pros: Clean and nice bathrooms/changing areas, some of the best on the Cape. No rocks, beautiful sandy beach. Very quiet, and clean beach. Little to no bugs, seaweed or seagulls, which present problems at most other beaches. Free parking after 5pm. The beach itself is very pretty, clean and accessable. Unfortunately, the large groups of seals right off shore and the freezing cold water make this a beach that you can only enjoy by lounging in the sand, and not going into the water.
Defunct N — Google review
Lovely setting on the Atlantic side of the Cape. Paved parking, restrooms, fresh water showers and a walkway to the beach. Some of the larger waves and surf along the Cape are here. Seals, too, so there can be sharks.... so be wise.
Mark O — Google review
We went here because we had a dog. We loved this beach because the sand is fine, not a lot of (or barely) kelp/seaweed. The waves were fun and not too aggressive but the water was very cold. We eventually got used to the water's temperature :) The parking lot is small here so it's better to come early morning or afternoon (around 2pm-3pm). ALSO the famous lighthouse on the Cape Cod chips bag is just 3 min walk away!
Nghi P — Google review
Exceptional. Nice wide sandy beach. Life guards on duty, lots of shells, rocks and water puppies (Seals)to look at. Water in late July was about 70 (felt cooler), Parking is tough, waited an hour around 1pm, 1 in 1 out situation but it moved and was totally worth it. At the top of the dunes there are change rooms and washrooms. No food or bathrooms by the beach.
Matthew R — Google review
Visited 07/28/21 at 13:37 and my advice is to go early and on foot/by bike if you can manage because the parking is very VERY limited due to construction. The bathroom and parking area are restricted to port-a-potties and there is no rinsing area for feet. The parking situation was the only reason for having 4 stars over 5. Walk in/biking prices were $15 for the day pass and car prices were $25 if you can manage to get a spot. I have nothing but nice things to say aside from the parking situation. The park rangers were helpful and the locals were nice as well. We saw several seals just offshore and we left the beach at high tide around 16:00 the beach is gorgeous to walk along and was very clean. More info shared with us via the rangers: With the parking pass you gain access to all of the nearby beaches and the Salt Pond for the day which is nice if you'd like to leave for lunch and return later (granted you can find space) or visit another park. It is a 10 minute walk from the Three Sisters Lighthouses and about a 20 minute walk from the Cost Guard Beach.

Coast Guard Beach in Eastham is a top beach destination on Cape Cod, known for its expansive golden sands and stunning natural scenery. It's a great spot for swimming, with calm waters monitored by attentive lifeguards. The beach also offers opportunities for surfing, boogie boarding, bird watching, and wildlife viewing. As part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, it provides visitors with picturesque views and a safe environment to enjoy the sun and ocean.
This is officially one of my favorite beaches in Cape. When I first walked down to the beach, I saw a lot of people, but then I looked to my right and saw no one, for miles. We had to climb over this big boulder that felt like clay to get to the other side. It was rather challenging to get back once we did because of high tide. But it was well worth it. It's absolutely beautiful.

I really loved this beach in Cape Cod. There were lots of seals 🦭❤️ The beach was well-maintained and peaceful. I found parking easily, but it was a weekday around 1 p.m., so it’s probably more crowded on weekends. The restrooms were clean. There were also some nice trails! Next time, I’ll bring my bike, there are so many beautiful spots to explore in Cape Cod!

Beautiful beach with good accessibility option! With your handicap parking placard, parking at the beach is allowed, rather than taking the shuttle. Lots of HP parking. The view from parking lot is nice with benches. Concrete and hard packed paths to a view point on the bluff, the restrooms building, the outside showers, and down the path along the road to beach access. From the road is blue accessible path to the beach. My husband’s battery powered scooter made it to the end. There were 2 beach wheelchair available.
Diane M — Google review
Beautiful beach but it gets windy and wavy. If you are staying in the area, it may be easier to bike to this beach as many parking places are reserved for residents. Otherwise, come after 5 when parking is available to everyone.
Max K — Google review
Beautiful long sandy beach! There's a big area that is lifeguard protected (which I recommend staying at because there can be sharks!). The coastline is pretty large so you have plenty of space to sit and enjoy the beach. The water is very cold though! You have to pay for the parking (but it can be used in the same day for all the other state parks/beaches on the Cape) and a shuttle takes you at the beach (3ish min ride), or there's a parking much closer for Eastham residents and disabled people. The entry of the beach is accessible and there were 2 beach wheelchairs available.
Alex A — Google review
An awesome beach with many seals visible. There is a beautiful bluff at the beach.
Julian M — Google review
Over hyped as we need to be cautious while swimming. Certainly, this beache is for surfing. Some time tide was rally high, which may drag you in. Sand 5/5 Clean5/5 Life guard 5/5 Water 4/5 is too cold in mid-July. Rest room 10/5 best. Friendly staff 5/5 You can't go there as is, meaning there is a parking place half mile before beach, then the shuttle will drop you.

History Museums
Nestled within the stunning Cape Cod National Seashore, the Salt Pond Visitor Center serves as an ideal starting point for your adventure. Operated by the National Park Service, this center offers a wealth of information about the area's rich ecology and history through engaging exhibits and short films. The knowledgeable staff is on hand to provide maps for hiking and cycling trails that begin right at the center, ensuring you can easily explore this beautiful landscape.
It was heartening to find the visitor center open given all the unnecessary upheaval in Washington, DC. The ranger was friendly and helpful when I asked about a lighthouse hike in Provincetown. The museum is chock full of interesting and informative displays and the gift shop has plenty of Cape Cod souvenirs. It’s sleepy in the off season but undoubtedly a zoo in the summer. Hopefully they get the staffing required to help visitors enjoy this national treasure. Highly recommended!

We visited on a Sunday afternoon in mid-June 2025. There was plenty of parking spots in the parking lot but we were a little early in the season. There were a number of ranger programs offered but we didn't really have time. The info desk was staffed by multiple rangers and kids got their junior ranger books. However they seemed very reluctant to give out maps. We were able to get one but had to ask specifically for it and say that we collect them. If you go to the right around the info desk, it's where the park store is at. The store is slightly larger than the one at the visitor center in Provincetown. However they do carry different items. So if you see something you like, don't wait to get it. The NPS Passport Cancellation Stamps are located just right outside the book store. If you continue down the hallway there is the museum. It's a pretty good size and has a large number of exhibits. Kids spent maybe 15 mins in there but you could spend a while if you wanted to read everything. If you walk to the other end of the visitor center there is a art gallery and also a theater which plays a short film. If you walk out the back doors of the visitor center there is an observation deck that looks out over salt pond. There is also a nice photo op sign. There are also trails that start back here that aren't very difficult either. Although I do recall mosquitos. As long as you don't stop, they didn't seem to bother us to much. Overall a great visitor center and significantly larger than the one at Provincetown. It's was also much more busy. We would stop by again if visiting cape cod national seashore. It's a great place to get info about trail closures etc.

A wonderful first stop if you are a tourist. The staff is fantastic and the museum is really educational. Cape Cod can be very confusing( where can I park etc) and the staff here will help save you time! Also--- they have a great display about the original inhabitants of the area and the several tribes. All good!

This was a great experience all around! I am glad to see that this visitor center was still running well in the summer season with the Fed's insistence on defunding our bel9ved National Parks (and changing lived history - see pic included). The rangers were informative, the film we watched and exhibit we walked through were educational, and there was a gift shop and clean restrooms as well. Highly recommend a stop here to get acquainted with the area and support our NPS.

Large visitor center parking lot with restrooms outside of the center and inside. The museum was very interesting. There are different park ranger events throughout the day. There is a theatre that shows various reels of information pertaining to Cape Cod. Gift shop with Cape Cod National Park souvenirs with reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly.
Michelle R — Google review
It's great to read about the area, they give quite a selection of short videos on surrounding attractions, which yes, also included Sharks of Cape Cod. I actually caught the film about the sea adventures which described whaling and what that was like, plus the changes that the Cape has endured. All free btw. The store has stickers, books, clothing and other tourist stuff as well as information. The rangers were very helpful and informative. I was there end of Sept 2025 so I guess they don't charge the park fees/Beach fees at this time of year. The center also has public bathrooms, handicapped accessible, plenty of free parking, filtered water stations so people can refill their bottles, bike & walking paths, great views of the salty marshes, plus they had a front door board letting you know when the Ranger tours happened at the different locations, and there didn't appear to be any charges for those either. There's a small museum of sorts toward the back end of the store.

Fairway Restaurant & Pizzeria is a beloved family-run establishment in North Eastham, known for its warm service and delicious homemade food. With a menu that changes with the seasons, this restaurant offers a variety of options including Italian and American dishes, savory breakfast classics, and even gluten-free meals. The restaurant has been an integral part of the community for almost two decades, supporting local schools and organizations.
We were pleasantly surprised by this venue for our Sunday breakfast. Plenty of parking is available out front and there are mobility ramps for each entrance. We were seated promptly but it gets busy and a wait is not uncommon. Service was great, prompt and efficient. My Silver Skillet meal was filling, hot and tasty. My wife had sausage, eggs and biscuits and was very pleased. Dining rooms included outdoor patio seating. Pricing was very good and I can recommend this place.

Great service, a varied menu, and incredible food! What a lovely surprise to have so many different options and to have all of them be terrific. A great spot if you have a few people craving different cuisines. Everyone loved their meals! Good prices too! My only recommendation is that the turkey pot pie should come with mashed potatoes. Luckily it was an easy add on as a side. :-) It was delicious!

Wow...the breakfast was phenomenal. We have been meaning to come here...now I regret not coming sooner. My husband has the special bacon lovers Benedict. I had the eggs mulligan. Delicious!! I also had a cider mimosa with coffee as well. We sat at a hightop in the bar which was comfortable. Add this to your list for your next Cape vacation!

I had a disappointing experience at your restaurant. When we arrived, our reserved table was changed without notice. The food took a very long time to arrive, and the issue wasn’t about quantity, but quality — it simply didn’t meet expectations. Very disappointed coming from another state and the results are sad. I ordered a Margarita and retuned. Horrible…… I wanted to share this feedback so you’re aware.

I rarely comment on places. However, the breakfast was one of the best in a long time. I had Eggs Benedict with the potato pancake (unusual for me as I'm a purist when it comes to Eggs Benedict) and it was fabulous! The coffee was very good which is something I do not say often as I prefer dark roasts. There was something about this coffee that I actually took it to go (I've never done before). I look forward to my next trip to Eastham and I'll be having breakfast there daily! Keep up the good work, the food, the service, and the friendly atmosphere.

We tried this place after friends recommended it. The food was good, however, the restaurant was very busy and seemed short-staffed. Unfortunately, our breakfasts were no longer warm when they were served. We may give them another try in the future.

We had breakfast here. We sat at a high top in the bar area. Very cozy. I had the crunchy blueberry pancakes (granola added) and ordered real maple syrup as an add on. Side of bacon. Coffee was good. Actually, everything was good! My husband is gluten free. They could accommodate him. They offer gluten free bread. He loved his omelet and home fries. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Bakery
Hole In One Bakery & Coffee Shop is a unique American restaurant in Eastham, known for its business-class dining options and seasonal decorations. The interiors are adorned with paintings, cloth drapes on the windows, and well-organized seating. It's a favorite spot where visitors can enjoy exceptional hospitality and a variety of dishes.
The food was awesome. Apple fritter French toast two-by-two, with 2 eggs and choice of breakfast meat (mine was sausage patties). The service was awesome - the waitress was waiting on us within 60 seconds of us sitting down, getting us coffee including my decaf. Good coffee. We didn’t have to wait long for breakfast, with my wife getting her cinnamon twirl French toast with bacon, which she also described as awesome. I almost forgot to mention that my fritter and my wife’s cinnamon twirl were made by the equally awesome bakery attached to the restaurant. Great work by the entire establishment. Thank you.

We visited on a Tuesday morning in mid-June 2025. There was limited parking on pavement but there is large adjacent grass/gravel lot. There was a constant stream of people and a line but it did move pretty quick. The space inside is very small and tight so suggest picking what you want and sending any other folks back outside. There is some bar seating but that's mainly it. There are some benches outside. We ordered: - Apple fritter, very good - Raspberry twist, my favorite - Blueberry lemon bar, very good - Samoa donut, nuts on top and chocolate on bottom very cool - Lemon glazed donut, typical/good - Boston cream with sprinkles, typical/good - Toffee sugar coffee, tasted like childhood/need more - 2 large ice lattes not very sweet unless you ask for more. Overall it was nice experience and the food was good. One of the staff members did look a bit annoyed it took us so long to make our decisions and order and we were taking up space in the store. We let multiple folks go ahead of us. If we were in the area, we'd come back again for sure.

As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I can confidently say that Hole in One’s vanilla-infused cold brew is one of the best coffees I’ve ever had — anywhere. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, it’s the kind of drink that you think about long after your vacation ends. I find myself craving it from back home in New Jersey, counting down the days until my next trip to the Cape just to get my hands on another cup. The pastries and donuts are equally unforgettable. Their donuts are honestly among the best I’ve had in my life. Whether you’re a classic glazed fan or want something more adventurous, you can’t go wrong here. The shop itself has a warm, inviting vibe that matches the quality of what they serve. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down for a bite, it’s the perfect start to any Cape Cod morning. If you’re anywhere near Eastham, Hole in One is a non-negotiable stop.

I've been coming here for decades and have always enjoyed the muffins and coffee. My last three visits have not been very good. The muffins and donuts have been very dry and not very good at all. Today I got a blueberry muffin with three blueberries in it. It had zero flavor. I expect more for $12 for one muffin 2 donuts and a med coffee.

I used to love the coffee in this places and recommend to everyone, tried to come as often as i can because i love the espresso this place use but the incident this morning let me writing this review and tell everyone to stay away. Come as usual for a latte and a croissant. This morning an extremely repulsive old lady with short hair and some anger issues said welcome to me. I ordered my latte and she put a little bit of brewed coffee, i assumed was to melt the honey but made me attentitive to make sure it s made like always with espresso because i hate brewed coffee, makes me feel sick. Then i saw how she PAST the espresso machine and WENT and poured from the container with already BREWED COFFEE while i was watching and i repeted to her i want a latte WITH ESPRESSO, not brewed coffee with creamer. I understand you are busy, also i understand that your espresso machine maybe had a problem for the moment, i worked in hospitality and coffee shops for a while, i also own one at some point but her attitude was absolutely terrible. She was keep repeting it was espresso like im stupid and didn t saw how she poured regular coffee, she didn t offered to remaked and she become extremely aggressive. A nice lady stepped in and helped me to pay because this lady became extremely aggressive instead of solving the issues. I took the coffee just so i can leave this place and at the end i told to the girl at the cashier “have a nice day bye” and this lady come screaming at me “what did you said?” almost to jump at me. Obviously she needs to be fired or not to work with customers, took a sip outside from the coffee, my friend as well and it was 100% just regular coffee but paid the price for a latte. Took a second sip and made me feel sick so i trash it and went to another place. Wanted to fill a complain agains her but she looked like she was ready to hit me so i left instead of calling the police as i should have done. I know it s a need for people but better short on staff then with this employees. I don t think me as as a customer have to step out of the coffeeshop because one of the employees it s acting like in the jungle and lost her mind, that s a safety issue for the rest of the people in the cafe. For future reference, next time just remake the coffee instead of screaming at customers and let customers know if it s regular coffee. It s the first time in my life as a coffee lover who left a coffee shop more tired than coming in. In conclusion, just choose another place to go

The donuts are fabulous and humongous, but the selection is already light by 10:30AM.

I wanted to love this place. But when I split open a chocolate chip muffin we bought there, I found a long white hair in the middle. Threw out everything we bought. To the owner: Please mandate wearing hair nets for all employees, especially those that handle prep.

Donuts are simply unbeatable! However, like everything else in this wild world, their prices have taken a leap into the stratosphere. At a whopping $30 a dozen, these sugary delights have officially become a luxury item, reserved for those special occasions when we want to treat ourselves—because who doesn’t want to splurge on a circle of happiness every now and then?

Restaurant
Lobster Shanty is a charming, family-owned American restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. This low-key and kid-friendly eatery allows patrons to pick their own lobsters and provides both indoor and outdoor seating. The establishment's exterior features an eye-catching train decoration that appeals to both adults and children. Inside, the restaurant is tidy, with inviting window-side tables where guests can enjoy the warm hospitality of the staff.
After visiting Cape Cod National Seashore, we decided to try lobster rolls for a taste comparison with the ones we had in Bar Harbor Maine. These guys win hands down! The lobster was cooked to perfection and the meal came with fresh delicious coleslaw and a pile of hot crispy fries. Mmmm mmmm. These lobster rolls really tasted amazing.
Chris P — Google review
I had my very first lobster roll today at Lobster Shanty. The hostess kinda rolled her eyes when we asked to be seated inside. The gentleman that took our order was very friendly. This is how I'll judge all future lobster rolls, since it was my very first. The steak tips looked mighty good, too. You can also get live lobster from the boat in the front lobby of the restaurant - it's kinda like death row for lobsters.

This place is absolutely wonderful! It was our very first time trying lobster, and the staff made sure we had the best experience possible. They helped us choose the perfect lobster, explained everything patiently, and even showed us how it all works. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. We left with such amazing impressions! Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Cape Cod — make sure to stop by and try their outstanding lobsters.

I ordered an Angus beef burger, but they gave me a regular burger. I asked for it medium rare, but I received it well done. I asked them for tap water, but the server completely ignored my request. I also asked for ketchup, and the server pointed to another room, where the bottle was somewhere on the shelf. I went and grabbed it myself. If I’m paying for the service, I should have received it. On the other hand, the bill was $15.88 (the price of the Angus burger), but it should have been $13.88 (the price of the regular burger). I also tipped the server $5 in advance. They burger it’s was okey! Feel like got ripped off!

We love the food here. There are more popular restaurants in this part of cape cod. Don’t let the somewhat run down building fool you The food is excellent here and service is good. Why wait in those long lines at the more popular restaurants. This place is terrific, or at least the chef is great. We had steamers, fried clams, lobster rolls, fish and fries, and their delicious clam chowder. I guess it’s not crowded because of the outside appearance. Building could use some repairs, clean up the parking lot, and put on a fresh coat of paint. The inside is a bit dated but very clean. Most important is the food and i give it an A+.

Worst lobster roll east of Ohio. All you can eat fish and chips but was never asked if I wanted more. No soda refill. Fish and chips 4 out of 10. Its a cute dumpy shack atmosphere. Drive right by!!!
Dan Z — Google review
I came with my family to get lunch but we didn’t have the best experience there because of some minor issues like the lobster roll, why is something that tastes like cardboard covered in dough on the menu, who thought this was a good idea. I have eaten many lobster rolls over the years but nothing other than this one takes the prize for the worst lobster roll like thing I have ever eaten. In addition many of the food orders were delayed for 45 minutes including one meal that never even arrived. I have tasted the same clam chowder from a two dollar can I can buy from Safeway. How many years this institution has been standing is strange but I’m sure there are people somewhere out there who enjoy the taste of this food but my group of twenty something people did not meaning it would make sense to eat something else.

A terrific spot for a meal! We saw this place when heading to our hotel in Truro, and had to try it out for lunch. I got the fish and chips, and they were fantastic! So delicious, flakey, and melt in your mouth. The breading was also perfect! Portion sizes are huge! You won’t go hungry, and you won’t regret getting their fish and chips!

Our main courses were very good, but I'm taking off a star for desserts. The key lime pie was partially frozen and the bread pudding did not have much flavor. Service was attentive and friendly. I had the braised short ribs and they were delicious!

We recently went to the BH with a large group. Everyone ordered something different and everything was excellent. Ever the vegetarians in our group raved about the choice and quality. We had a wide array of dishes including, Steak, clam chowder, chicken Marsala, fish tacos, veg pasta, Scallops in rum orange sauce, and salads. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The only negative was: the room was freezing. and even after we asked them to turn down the A/C, it stayed cold for a long time. We almost left and went to another restaurant in town that has outdoor dining, which would have been much more comfortable. We definitely will go back again and hopefully the temperature will be comfortable.

The grilled jerk chicken breast dinner is where it's at here. Paired with its oh so good mango salsa topping and coconut rice. My mouth is still watering, thinking about that tender chicken marinated with that spicy deliciousness that I just ate. I wish I had this recipe being a chicken fanatic. It's so good that I'd be making this on a regular if I knew how. Haha! :) The presentation of this meal is undeniably beautiful too. The colours of the fruit and veg combo just pop right off the plate. It's nice eye candy for those who love taking pictures of their food. And let's face it, I know that so many of us do when it looks this esthetically pleasing. You'll see what I mean from my picture, it'll sure make you hungry. And the nice thing here is the portions are very generous to justify the price, so much that I was too full for dessert.

Found on the fly and so happy. Calamari and wings for apps were fantastic. For main, the fried scallops were possibly the best i have ever had. Fish tacos amazing, and a fun take on a wedge salad by adding steak tips. Wonderful lunch.

The drinks were strong the service was great. The food was really really bad. I expected a place on the cape to have fresh seafood, the calamari seemed like it can frozen from Walmart.

Day 2

Off the beaten path
For day 2, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Skaket Beach. Not quite as popular as Coast Guard Beach, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Skaket Beach in Orleans, MA is a stunning destination on Cape Cod with its expansive white sandy shoreline and picturesque sunsets. The beach offers various amenities including tidal pools for children to play in, a snack kiosk, showers, restrooms, and lifeguards for safety. During low tide, the warm waters are perfect for swimming and leisurely strolls along the flats. At high tide, the calm waters provide an ideal environment for swimming without being too deep.
My favorite beach. Endless sandbars, you can walk for miles without getting waist deep. Terrible bugs right at sunset, but def the best place to watch the sunset on the Cape elbow. I forget if parking is $20 or $30. But whatever it is it’s worth it because I adore this beach.
Jan M — Google review
We visited Skaket Beach to watch the sunset, and it absolutely delivered. The beach itself is on the smaller side, and while it was fairly empty when we arrived about an hour before sunset, it got quite crowded by sunset, with the parking lot filling up quickly. Aside from the sunset views, there's not a lot to do here. Also, be prepared for pricey parking.
Vipin T — Google review
Skaket Beach is one of my favorite spots on the Cape. They do a great job limiting the number of people allowed in at a time, which means even during peak hours you actually have space to breathe and see the ocean. No sardine-style beach days here. At low tide, you can walk out for what feels like forever, probably close to a mile, and explore all these little tide pools. It’s perfect for kids (and let’s be honest, fun for adults too) with tons of shells and cool little sea creatures to check out. They’ve got clean bathrooms, a rinse-off shower, and even a food stand, which makes it super convenient for families. It is a little pricier to get in at $32.50 for the day, but honestly, it’s worth it for the space, the views, and the overall experience. If you’re looking for a beach day where you can relax, let the kids run wild, and still have access to all the basics, this is it.
Danielle W — Google review
One of my favorite places to be. I love walking at low tide especially to see the sun set over the bay.
Bryan B — Google review
First time at this beach and we came for the 4th of July fireworks. From this beach, you can see the Rock Harbor fireworks display. The beach was nice and there is a snack shack and bathroom right on site.
Katie M — Google review
This is a beautiful beach. It’s best to time when the tide goes out because you can walk quiet way out find hermit crabs and other sea creatures parking is $32.50 and no dogs are allowed before Labor Day. Seems like they’re welcome after the holiday break but not entirely sure.
Dustin C — Google review
Cute beach, loved the white sand and the plants. Very family friendly. Would recommend coming along a bike route, we didn’t but we would’ve loved to. (minus 1 star because of the expensive 30$ parking with no bathrooms or water point). We only came at high tide but can imagine the beauty at low tide!
Chloe — Google review
Low tide at its best, we walked out for about a mile on ripple sand and tide pools just as the tide went to its lowest point in the day. Got there after 5p and parked for free ($30 otherwise), however the bathrooms were closed as well but that’s ok… the kids were in heaven, free and exploring the new things to discover while to water was out! Just a beautiful place to go and enjoy the Cape Cod Bay!

The Captain Penniman House in Eastham is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. This French Second Empire style house, built in 1868, was once owned by the renowned sea captain Edward Penniman. Visitors can explore the family's written records and artifact collections, gaining insights into their whaling voyages. Additionally, nearby attractions such as the Eastham 1869 Schoolhouse Museum and Indian Rock offer further glimpses into the town's rich history.
Beautiful home of an historic whaling captain, worth a stop to check it out. It would have been cool to see the whale jawbones archway installed in 1969, but it was removed several years ago for safety concerns. The previous jawbone, which went up in 1876, can be seen at the Provincetown Museum that is part of the Pilgrim Monument. Highly recommended!

We visited on a Sunday afternoon in mid-June 2025. We passed by this as we were hiking the Red Maple Swamp Trail and connecting to the Fort Hill Trail. This was a very interesting stop. We took a number of pictures. The house was not open at our time of visit but still very cool to explore and look around the property.

Herb and Brent were great! Had the tour today and enjoyed the history of both the Captain Penniman house and the family history. First bathroom plumbing on the Cape! This was a really enjoyable way to spend an hour.Highly recommend!

Five stars for our ranger Lillibeth. She was very knowledgeable and so friendly with our two children. I will say if you plan to visit the house when it's open, be prepared for a 40 min ranger talk before entrance to see the house. You can see both the downstairs and upstairs of the house , a few rooms are furnished. So again, if you have kids or have trouble standing for long periods of time, you will be standing/sitting on the lawn for almost an hour listening to the talk. We enjoyed our time here, learned quite a lot about the Penniman family and whaling and enjoyed viewing the house.

We happened to stop by on a Wednesday when it was open. So glad it is preserved. Thank you, NPS!

This is close to the Cape Cod National Park & the 3 Sisters Lighthouses. Unfortunately, no place to really park and take a poke around the house/barn. Check at the CCNP for Ranger tours(free). If you drive to the end of the road it gives you a great view of the ocean. Another freebie is a walking trail down to the marsh area, was very wet the day I came, no benches to rest on, parking limited to about 6/8 vehicles depending upon size. It's also in a tight residential area, so be mindful of your speed(25-30mph bcuz road is skinny). If you get a chance take the Ranger tour of the Captains house ; it was very modern in its day bcuz of the heating & plumbing He had installed inside his house. There is a YouTube video on it as well,if you miss the tour. Nice Victorian minus fireplaces. ~Michele Del Gaizo, Carver MA

Fort Hill Trail is a 1-mile loop located in the Eastham section of the National Seashore. The trail offers stunning views of Nauset Marsh and the Atlantic Ocean, making it a popular spot for birders and outdoor enthusiasts. Hikers can expect to see native wildlife and enjoy the beautiful natural landscape along this slightly strenuous and hilly trail.
This is a beautiful spot high on a hill overlooking the water. I can't recommend that you visit this spot highly enough. And there are plenty of trails to hike throughout this beautiful spot. I highly recommend that you at least go and look at the view as it's just spectacular.

Very nice place for a hike! It might be a bit boring in the winter, as if you were wondering about on a heath - but that's when I visited it the first time. When it enters into the spring/summer (whatever), things really change - everything turning greenish. In this, you'll find a vast coverage of grasses, the beach view, and much more. I saw rabbits, deers, singing birds, and whatever flowers on a rainy late spring/early summer day.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fort Hill Trail – A Hidden Gem in Cape Cod What an incredible experience! We visited Fort Hill Trail today and were absolutely enchanted by its natural beauty. The air was crisp and refreshing, the landscape pristine, and the views—simply breathtaking. It’s a peaceful, uncrowded spot that offers everything from scenic ocean overlooks to quiet trails perfect for walking, relaxing, or even kayaking nearby. The gentle breeze and coastal charm made it feel like a true escape from the everyday. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility, nature, and a touch of Cape Cod magic.

This is a nice little hiking place in the Orleans. I would definitely recommend everyone to go for a walk twice a week, as it is surrounded with nature, beach side, trees, old historical rocks. I would suggest not to bring any pets cuz it's not allowed. There is one restroom next to the starting point at the lake. There is a swamp trail. Loved this one. Go take a walk with nature once in a while.

NO PETS! except if you have pets on leash depending on which sign you read. We brought our dog, planned to walk around the loop and saw it was a “Pet Free” park. BUT, observed several people with their dogs and signage indication that one could walk their dog… Beautiful park though. Well maintained boardwalk except for a recent hole from a fallen branch. Recommendations- 1- please update all signs to reflect whichever policy it is (pets or no pets) 2- ensure that websites and google maps identifies that this is a non pet friendly trail. 3- put some signs up letting folks know there is a giant hole in the boardwalk… Thanks NPS.

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. I love reading about the history of the area and seeing the sharpening stone. There is a reason Champlain looked over the land with awe. Definitely go here. Nestled along Route 6 in Eastham, Buddha Bobs is a delightful treasure trove that beckons visitors with its eclectic mix of unique items. While the Outer Cape may not boast an abundance of antique shops, this charming spot stands out for its stunning collection of crystals, rocks, and fossils alongside intriguing sculptures and handmade crafts. The outdoor area is particularly enchanting, filled with captivating statues that invite exploration. Inside, the cozy space is packed with beautiful finds waiting to be discovered.
I almost don't want to say how very VERY much I love Buddha Bob's because it still feels a bit like a secret However, I *do* love Buddha Bob's so I have to brag on them, and hope the people keep this amazing shop open for years to come. Let me first start with this: If you're anywhere from mildly to super, deeply, intensely quirky? Hoo boy is this the place for you! Super straight-laced? Nary a quirk in sight? I'd bet you'll still find yourself leaving with a treasure. This lively little store on the Cape feels like home the moment you step in. They remember people from year to year (my husband is The Duck Ring Guy 🦆) and the selection is always a delight. Make sure you allow yourself at least an hour to browse between the inside and outside... maybe 2 The service is amazing! The prices are a treat! Love crystals? You'll find beauties here that will catch your heart without breaking the bank. Love world instruments? Head into the back next to the statement pieces, and you'll find a great selection. Don't sleep on the mini steel drums! They're a blast to play and a heck of a bargain If you're anywhere near the Cape, you can't go wrong stopping in here - tell them the duck ring people sent you 🥰

Trolling around the Cape for antiques and stuff and stumbled upon this place. What a great find! Their minerals and crystals were not what I was there for but I ended up getting a bunch of them for a friend who collects them. She loves them! They have tons of them at Buddha Bob's! They have a canoe full of them. They also have lots of stone, concrete and other material outdoor and indoor statuary. They have some antiques also and I ended up getting a very old French metal piece. They very nicely wrote down all the names of the "rocks" I bought for my friend as I know nothing about them. What a great place to browse, and full of crystals of every kind. Crystal jewelry too. I'll be there again. Thanks!

The only thing more beautiful than the immense clusters of crystals in this magnificent eclectic folk art wonderland are the generous souls of the family who run it with such love!

Many friends have told me about this crystal shop. I finally made it a priority to go check it out a year ago, as it’s over an hour drive for us. My family and I have made the trip a few times since and absolutely love Buddha Bobs! The owners are lovely and incredibly knowledgeable. The prices are the best I have seen, and trust me I’ve been to many crystal shops! This is our new favorite spot for crystals! The last time we were there, I dropped a pendulum and broke it. The owner was so nice and insisted that I pick a new one at no additional charge. Even though the pendulum is inexpensive, their kindness is priceless! Thank you Buddha Bobs For being awesome! ✨🙌🏻💗

This is by far the best place to get any crystals, statues or antiques! I’ve been going here the last 6 years for vacation and there’s always something new and unique. They’re also very knowledgeable and easy to talk to with more than reasonable prices. I recommend coming here 10/10 times for an awesome experience!

Everything from statues, to singing bowls, to crystals of all shapes and sizes, jewelry and so much more. The owners are so friendly and helpful. What really blows my mind is the knowledge, and information they have for every item they have. I could listen to their adventures they take to find these treasures, all day long. This store and this amazing couple will fill any spiritual persons cup! And u will walk away learning a lot, in a short period of time. This place is phenomenal! A husband and wife run it and they are knowledgeable and great humans! There's everything from cement statues, to really cool metal art to antiques to some of the greatest crystals anywhere in the cape! 🔥

Cooks Brook Beach is a charming spot located in Eastham, offering a serene environment for beach enthusiasts. It's recommended to visit during low tide and sunset for the best experience. Fishing enthusiasts can try their luck at catching bass and bluefish from the shore. The beach is dog-friendly during specific times in the summer, making it convenient for pet owners. Visitors can enjoy the smooth sands and calm waters, perfect for unwinding on lazy afternoons or enjoying a picturesque evening by the sea.
Nice little beach that is managed by the city. Parking is right next to the beach and was free. Went there for the sunset and wasn't disappointed. Beach wasn't overly large so I imagine it could get busy and crowded during the busy season but it was virtually empty when we visited in early November.

Great beach. Make sure to check when it's high tide and low tide. Great for swimming during high tide. Its fun to walk around during low tide. Beautiful sunsets!

Wonderful Bayside beach with plenty of parking. We rented a house a half block from the public beach and it was fantastic. The sunsets are amazing over Great Island. More pictures from DSLR soon.

Great little Eastham town beach. Water was on the warmer side, much better than some of the other beaches on the ocean side. Highly recommend if you love a beautiful sunset. But get there early! Everyone gathers to watch the sun go down. Eastham beach sticker is required. Really look forward to going back!

The Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, located on Cape Cod, offers a diverse natural experience with woodlands, beach, heath, and salt marshes. Visitors can explore five miles of trails and boardwalks through various habitats such as woodlands, tidal marshes, coastal sand plains, and freshwater ponds.
We were really lucky to come across this place while driving by. It’s just 5 miles of trails, but they’re all super peaceful. We just walked around, enjoying the nature and the birds singing. There’s also a great spot by the shore with a beautiful view. We spent a lot of time just walking along the beach, checking out the shells in the sand. Definitely a really cool place. Hope we can come back sometime

Def recommend stopping by and walking the trails. The staff were super helpful and kind. The osprey nest was amazing to see. My child and I were able to walk about 2 miles of the trails together and it didn’t disappoint either of us. Def wear your sunblock and bug spray!

We visited on a late Sunday afternoon in mid-June 2025. There were plenty of spaces when we visited. There are a good number of trees as well if you're looking for a shady spot. It is a little bit of a walk to the visitor center from the parking spots. The parking lot was packed gravel and dirt. It was well maintained. There are ADA spots closer to main entrance. We arrived around 4PM and the Nature Center closed at 5PM. You can still stay in the park until dusk and there is a side exit you can take. I'm not sure if there are bathrooms available after the Nature Center closes however. The sign says to pay entrance fee using money pipe next to kiosk signs and map when building is closed. It's $8/adult, $5 (65+) and $3 (2-12yr old). members are free. There are a number of FREE admission for different groups and memberships as well. The Nature Center itself was great and much bigger than expected. When you walk in directly in front of you in the info desk. All the staff were super helpful and told us exactly what we should try and do and answered all of our questions. To the right is the gift shop which had a pretty nice selection but kind of generic items. To the left is the hallway to all the exhibits. This area was a lot bigger than I expected. They had a number of live animals in aquariums and tanks. Kids spent 15-20 mins in here looking around but we wanted to get on the trail. We took the trail straight to Goose Pond and crossed the bridge/boardwalk over and continued to the Try Island Trail. But we just stayed left and walked all the way out on the boardwalks. It does get really sandy so be prepared with the right shoes or be okay with sand in your shoes or going barefoot. There were a few mosquitos here and there but I wouldn't say unbearable. If you kept moving, you were fine. Might be a different story if you were here birdwatching and stayed in one spot for awhile. There were also a ton a little fiddler crabs i think. Kids had fun watching them scurry away as we walked by. It was very photogenic and picturesque especially cause we only ran into 3 or 4 groups the entire time we were there and it was a weekend. Overall a great place to take a walk. If we lived nearby we would probably have a membership here. If you're just visiting, it's a great way to spend maybe half a day. We only had about an hour total so we couldn't explore much more unfortunately. I bet sunset here would've been amazing.

Very accessible for different age groups and scenic trails. Visitor center has wonderful creatures in aquariums and helpful staff. The day we went in October it was quite windy and cold by the water’s edge but we still enjoyed our walks. No dogs allowed as it is a bird sanctuary but at the time of day we went we saw almost no birds. We expected to see at a minimum sea birds and ducks but we did not.

Absolutely gorgeous place! A variety of trails will take you past salt marshes, a bay-side beach, and coastalpine forest. They have a wonderful Discovery center for all ages, a lovely pollinator garden, and a well stocked gift shop. A fun "bonus" is watching the Fiddler Crabs scurry about along the Boardwalk trail... Be mindful of High Tide because the boardwalk goes under water.

Cool place for family and kids! Theres lots of different trials. The views are beautiful. Very interesting to walk around during low tide where you'll see tons of crabs and mussels. Theres a gift shop along with an indoor area with fish tanks.

Breakfast restaurant
Laura & Tony's Kitchen Amazing Breakfast is served in a casual and vibrant setting, offering a popular breakfast menu along with grab-and-go options from their market. The funky and colorful building houses a buffet featuring an array of morning delights such as homemade biscuits with sausage gravy, pancakes, Belgian waffles, bagels with smoked salmon, eggs benedict, and cinnamon rolls. Crockpots are regularly refilled to ensure freshness, while patrons can enjoy affordable Bloody Marys and mimosas.
Lovely breakfast spot!! My kids had the pancakes which were absolutely delicious and I had the two eggs with potatoes and sourdough toast…which didn’t look impressive at first but I really liked the potatoes…simple but good!! We also tried the berry scone which was very good: perfect density, not too sweet but sweet enough. Service was friendly and good. You order at the counter and are given a number to place on your table and the food is brought to you. I didn’t see a kids menu but maybe there is one, either way it seemed like a kid friendly place with kids at every table when I visited! There is a complimentary self serve water station which was appreciated. Iced coffee was good! It is pricey but similar to prices I am used to in NY so nothing out of the ordinary. My kids want to eat here everyday for the rest of our vacation and to me that’s the biggest win/best endorsement 😆

Came for breakfast. Pancakes were fluffy and high quality chocolate chips. Savory rich and exactly what you’re looking for in a pancake. Home fry’s were fluffy and perfectly seasoned with a nice crispy exterior. Sausages were as expected, nice snap and good flavor. I had a pressed carrot juice that was a nice sharp veggie contrast to a savory breakfast. Portions were more than reasonable for the price. Overall, I everything exceeded my expectations. I would recommend stopping in for a relaxed breakfast on a weekend morning. Some additional points: -Located next to a motel with a pool so if you are staying there, it’s super convenient! -Staff was friendly and attentive! -Bring cash if possible as it allows this small business to keep all of their proceeds rather than paying a card fee! -Indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor seating is dog friendly :) -An EforAll Alumni

I cannot get over how magical gods place is. The staff, like most places on the cape, is mostly European but they are friendly and helpful. There is a light and airy feel about the ambience, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food takes a long while to be prepared but it is incredible. Backed goods are phenomenal. There is a woman who is there frequently who I assume to be Laura who is the absolute sweetest every time I have been. If you are within a 20-30 min drive, this place is worth your while.

All I can say is WOW! Just finishing up breakfast here and it was lovely. Homemade bread, super friendly staff, and great tableside service. I prefer the “pay first” model and that is what they do here. She even gave me some jam to put on my bread for later!! Couldn’t be happier!

This place really made our day. The food was incredible, and very reasonable. The handmade bread and jam was delicious. The staff is absolutely delightful. Especially Miki from Romania. We sat outside and the atmosphere was wonderful. It's definitely a diamond in the rough! Don't miss out!

This place is absolutely delicious! We had the omelette special and eggs Benedict, both were incredible! The homemade jelly is also to die for, everything is homemade! Service also great!!

Arnold’s Lobster & Clam Bar is a popular seafood destination that has been serving fresh fried seafood, lobster rolls, raw bar, and gourmet ice cream for over 40 years. This bustling spot offers both hot and cold lobster rolls, with the option of standard or jumbo sizes. In addition to its delicious food offerings, Arnold’s features a miniature golf course and a busy ice cream stand.
This seafood spot is one you shouldn’t miss - old school NE feel with fresh seafood, great service, family style picnic seating and mini golf next to the seating for family fun. Didn’t try the raw oyster bar but the selection was great and looked delicious. The fried clams were fresh and beautifully flash friend, has fresh corn that was a perfect match.

We stopped here and got the platter for two. It was their first day opening for the season. Although the food appeared to be cooked perfectly it didn't have any flavor. It was like they left the seasoning out of the breading. It got a little greasy toward the bottom of the plate, but that's to be expected. It's a great place with a great location.
Larry H — Google review
Most of the food here is fried, I saw that they serve baked fish, but unfortunately only after 5 pm so we got the clams and they were just sitting in oil, not my thing😔 The ice cream though was amazing and so tasty. It was a super hot day when we came. Inside was a little cooler but most of the tables are outside and there were only a couple of fans so it still felt really hot.
Anastasiia S — Google review
We ordered calamari, clam chowder and a hot lobster roll. My daughter only ate the calamari. She said it was the best calamari ever. Prepare cash because it’s a cash or check only restaurant.
Seungyun L — Google review
We stopped here like we do every year- 2 Family of 4 people each and ended up spending more than $350 here. And that too all Cash!!!! Although the food appeared to be cooked perfectly it had little flavor. It was like they left the seasoning out of the breading. I would recommend them to do better with those seasoning. They use to be great. We got the warm and cold lobster rolls, lobster bisque, hot dog with Chilli, burger, cheese pasta and more. (Check out the picks). The servings were generous but all the food again was a bit blend. The bisque literally tasted like thick warm milk with chunks of lobster stirred in. Maybe it’s just our tastebuds yearning for seasoning. The lobster was a bit chewy. Service was quick and friendly. Food was served fresh. The fries were tasty. The onion rings were ok. One part of this meal we enjoyed was the coleslaw that includes apples and cranberries. In summary, I was ok with Arnold's Lobster & Clam Bar. Our visit was defined by long lines, outdated payment methods, and mediocre expensive food.

Arnold’s is a must stop if you are at the Cape. Make sure you try the fried lobster, clam strips and onion rings. Ice cream outside after your meal is so good.

A visit to Arnold's Lobster & Clam Bar in Eastham is a must-do on any Cape Cod vacation. This place has been an institution since the late 1950s, and the vibrant, bustling energy is the essence of a classic summer destination. While the place can get crowded, the service is quick and attentive. The menu is a bit expensive, but the food's quality is worth every penny. The lobster roll was absolutely delicious, and the burgers were fantastic. Be sure to check out their raw bar and great beer selection. Just remember to bring cash! What makes Arnold's truly special is the complete experience. After your meal, you can wander over to the mini-golf course or grab a scoop of ice cream from the shop. It's a fantastic spot that captures the spirit of a Cape Cod summer perfectly.

Nestled in a charming former cottage, the Beacon Room offers an inviting blend of Italian-inspired cuisine and fresh local seafood, all served in a classy-casual setting. This cozy yet elegant restaurant is perfect for those looking to indulge in both classic and innovative dishes. Guests can savor specialties like Grilled Shrimp & Scallops over Creamy Polenta or Chicken Saltimbocca while enjoying a thoughtfully curated wine selection.
The food we had was exceptional. I had steak, fries and asparagus and my wife had elk mashed potatoes and asparagus finishing with tiramisu. I have a dairy intolerance and a nut allergy and they were super accommodating. Exceptionally cooked food and an amazing atmosphere.

The food was delicious, from Cod bites as an appetizer to Elk loin and Chicken Milanese for main courses. The negative things we experienced were too long wait time on the food. It took exactly 45 minutes for main courses to arrive after we got an appetizer. Other thing is the portion of Chicken Milanese and Cod bites were really small, Chicken dish was super small and hidden under huge amount of arugula. Cod bites were more in category of small plates or individual plate rather than appetizer since there is literaly 4/5 tiny pieces of fish. Other than that food realy tasted good and we enjoyed it.
Perica M — Google review
I don’t eat chicken parm, but my husband swears it’s the best he’s ever had and he orders it every single time. Every trip to the Cape (which is surprisingly often for us) includes a mandatory stop at The Beacon Room. We’re so glad they’re open year round! The food is consistently great even for those like me who aren’t chicken parm obsessed. The staff are always attentive and get our orders right, even with substitutions. My food allergies (fish/shellfish) are always taken seriously, which I really appreciate.

The decor of the building is lovely and eclectic with a series of paintings by local artists for sale, exposed beams, and tables set up in a very cozy, home-like atmosphere. The food itself came out in a timely manner and tasted quite fresh. Good portion sizes. Overall great experience!

We’ve been there twice for lunch, sitting at the bar. Both times just a perfect experience. Super friendly, personable, and efficient bartenders. Food all on point for quality, freshness and execution. Good value, too. Quaint and cozy space with wooden cathedral ceiling, post and beams, bright and clean. Friendly Fisherman Restaurant and Fish Market is a casual seafood eatery in Eastham, MA that takes pride in its fish-centric market. It stands out for its New England standards, offering a relaxed atmosphere with picnic tables. Alongside their delectable dishes, they also have a market specializing in fish. They are known for their innovation in creating feasts from unique recipes.
First time visit here. There is no lobster on the dining menu, it can be purchased at the market! Apparently someone gave it a bad review because it did not have lobster on the dining menu. I ordered the lobster roll and recommendation from several local people. It was delicious, not overly seasoned, just the right amount of Mayo, not drowning in it. The lobster was cooked to perfection. Came with a huge side of fries. The place was extremely clean, and efficient. I certainly will return. I sat under the roof. Nice play area for kids in the back.
Nadine C — Google review
Definitely on the more expensive side but their portion is big for the fisherman’s platter, can feed 3-4 people, which includes fried scallops, shrimps, whole belly clams, strip clams and cod fish. No calamari though and have to order separately. Fried onion rings are also excellent! Clam chowder is ok. It’s quite a nice seafood place if you’re in Eastham!
Mary N — Google review
Food was okay, spent $74 (with 15% tip) for 3 things (fish of the day, fried clam and a drink). It’s self service, you pick up food and throw the food away yourself, and there’s no indoor bathroom. Food was mediocre and overpriced, but staff was friendly
Cecilia — Google review
Really good lobster rolls! Especially after being disappointed by so many other places — this is one of the best spots in this area of the cape!
Shelby T — Google review
AVOID at all costs! This restaurant is insanely overpriced and does not disclose the cost of your meal on the website or over the phone. Extremely deceiving to advertise a Caesar salad with optional protein add on and to not disclose it is priced at ALMOST $50! The Caesar salad itself was $14 and the lobster meat was $32! My sister also ordered a Caesar ($14) and added scallops as her protein and the scallops add on was priced at $34. INSANE! Unless you are willing to pay $40 for a lobster roll, nothing here is worth the price anymore. I miss when this spot was the perfect “hole in the wall”, local take-out spot for a good, hearty, fried (or not) seafood meal. I will not be back and neither will the rest of our group after having been exploited. I also kindly suggest they update the google listing to reflect the $50-$100 per person price point instead of $20-30. (FYI - I did call the restaurant with my feedback and they shared that because they told us the total bill at the end that it was my fault for not requesting an itemized pricing list. There was no empathy or sympathy to be had. Do better, Friendly Fisherman.)
Marisa M — Google review
Love this place, definitely in the favorites category here on the Lower Cape. We love this spot for it's Cape Cod feel, atmosphere and absolutely YUMMY fried clams. Try this place out, you'll love it!
Gary S — Google review
Big lobster chunks, get your moneys worth of lobster. At least 4 full claws in the sandwich. Bun is on the smaller side but good toast to it. Lighter mayo. Lettuce is a single leaf not shredded. Nice outdoor seating area in the back with a playground for kids. Also indoor seating as well. Plenty of parking. Portapotties in the back.
Austin P — Google review
They have best quality of meat in their lobster rolls! Chunky pieces of claws - no shredded fillers. There's a nice sweet flavor to it as well. Even during these inflationary times the prices haven't increased either. Still one of our favorite places along the Cape

Marconi Wireless Station, located in Wellfleet, is a historic site dating back to the early 1900s. It holds the distinction of being the first location in the United States to facilitate communication across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe. While there may not be an abundance of attractions on-site, its historical significance makes it a worthwhile visit for history enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks and ocean views while learning about Marconi and local environmental features through informative signage along walkways and viewing areas.
Another beautiful spot in Cape Cod! It happens to be the first wireless station and thew breathtaking views of the sea is beautiful! You can walk around but since its all on a cliff and is prone to falling off anytime, be careful! There are some plants that are poisonous too! So don’t touch them! But its great viewpoint for great pictures
Cheryl V — Google review
The Marconi Wireless Station is a fascinating piece of Cape Cod history! This is where the first transatlantic wireless communication was sent in 1903. Tip: Walk the nearby trails for stunning ocean views while imagining the groundbreaking messages sent from this very spot.

This is a great place to take a walk, see the ocean and learn a little history. There are a couple of walkways and viewing areas with interesting signage telling about both Marconi and the local environment. You can also walk on the White Cedar Swamp Trail from this parking lot. Bathrooms are available just off the parking lot. There is only parking for about 30 cars so I'm sure it can be hard to find parking during the summer season.

Marconi Beach is a picturesque and historic destination located in Wellfleet, offering scenic hiking paths, a bicycle trail, and an observation platform. The beach is famous for being the site of the world's first trans-Atlantic communication and has a 40-foot coastal bluff that provides stunning views. Visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming, surfing, surfcasting, and long walks along the glorious stretch of Cape Cod National Seashore.
Marconi Beach in Massachusetts is truly a gem of the Cape Cod National Seashore. My recent visit there left me in awe of its stunning beauty. The white sand is incredibly soft and pristine, stretching for miles along the Atlantic coast. It's the perfect place for a relaxing day in the sun or a leisurely walk along the shoreline. One of the standout features of Marconi Beach is its dramatic dunes. These towering sand formations provide a picturesque backdrop and make you feel like you're in a serene, untouched paradise. The waves are gentle enough for swimming, but there's still enough surf to keep things interesting for those who enjoy bodyboarding. The beach is also relatively uncrowded, even during peak season, which adds to its charm. There are plenty of spots to set up your towel and umbrella without feeling cramped. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with convenient access to restrooms and outdoor showers. Parking is ample, and the walk from the parking lot to the beach is short and scenic. I also appreciated the informative signs about the area's history and wildlife, which added an educational element to the visit. Overall, Marconi Beach is a must-visit if you're in Massachusetts. Its breathtaking beauty, tranquility, and excellent amenities make it a perfect destination for a day trip or a longer stay. I can't wait to go back!

An amazing beach at cape coral national seashore. Plenty of seals are visible in the area. Beware of sharks.

Beautiful beach on the Atlantic with nice rollers about 4’ great for boogie boarding. A few surfers out but short rides. Water is cold around 60 degrees! Seals in the water; lifeguard flying shark flag (seen in last 24 hours but no imminent threat)! Beautiful colors in the water as you gaze out to the horizon and soft sand!
Kurt A — Google review
Beautiful clean beach with a dogs-allowed section. But it was very hot and there is a lot of stairs, so be sure to bring an umbrella, lots of drinking water, and a cooling vest if your dog is older or sensitive to heat. We also saw a seal swimming so close, it was amazing. There is a shower-off station that we were able to rinse ourselves & our guy off at before we left. If you ever visit Cape Cod with your dog you must check it out.
Natalie S — Google review
This is a weird beach. The sand is super hot, the water is super cold, and the shoreline (where ocean meats the land) is full of incredibly sharp giant rocks and shells. I didn't know that when coming and cut the crap out of my foot. Still, it was very beautiful and the cold water was really invigorating. If I had water shoes I would give it 4 stars.
Stuart D — Google review
Beautiful beach and amazing parking. The beach has bathrooms and water available. There are a lot of steps that go down to the beach, so be prepared for that. It is fun to play in the ocean and there’s so a lot of sand and relatively few rocks! Go! The beach is huge!

Doane Rock Picnic Area in Eastham, MA is a dog-friendly hiking spot with well-maintained trails and beautiful natural surroundings. It's home to the largest exposed boulder on Cape Cod, offering a great photo opportunity and a popular picnic spot next to the homestead of one of the original settlers of Eastham. While it may not be an extended visit due to mosquito presence, it's still worth visiting for its scenic beauty and proximity to Coast Guard Beach.
At the Cape Cod seashore, there sits a celebrity. No, not a Kennedy—just a REALLY big rock. Doane Rock is what geologists call a “glacial erratic,” which is a fancy way of saying: “The Ice Age dragged this boulder here and then ghosted.” You probably don’t have a rock this big. Seriously—think of the biggest rock you’ve ever seen. Got it? Now double it. Triple it. Okay, you’re close. It’s the kind of rock that makes you want to climb on top and declare yourself King of Cape Cod. Or at least yell “I’m on a rock!” like you’re auditioning for a geology-themed stand-up set. Bottom line: If you come to the seashore and don’t visit Doane Rock, did you even Cape Cod?

Good place to park to get to the shore. We had our dog with us so we had to walk. We took the hiking path. It was a bit hard to find which one led to the beach. The path was a nice easy walk except for the (I think) horse flies. Holy h3ll those bites hurt. the salt water soothes them but then we were bit on the way back too. If you're walking, wear pants. The bridge over the marsh was really pretty.

Best equipped picnic area i found in the cape! Restrooms were clean and stocked, the water was filtered (and tasted refreshing), there's several grills and picnic tables, a couple pavilions (incase it's raining a I experienced) and you can hit a trail or two to walk off your lunch.

Being a Doane it is an honor and privilege to visit my beloved family rock. However, I am quite displeased with the lack of facilities & how dare you post signs that pets are not allowed. As this is my family’s land, I therefor permit ANY and ALL fur babies. Especially my son who is also a direct descendant (Indiana Doanes). Good day sir.

The largest glacial erratic boulder on Cape Cod. Doane Rock was left behind by glaciers at the end of the last Ice Age between 12,000 and 18,000 years ago. This giant boulder reaches 18 feet above the ground, and may go as far as 12 feet underground.

Lovely picnic area close to coast guard beach. Several covered picnic shelters, shaded picnic tables, flush toilets, and a 3/5 mile loop trail to see the Doane memorial. Doane rock is a glacial till boulder. The memorial is for the Doane pilgrim homestead, not a lot to see, but cool memorial to the history of the area while taking in the ocean breeze and lovely weather.

Great free parking area for Doane Rock and coastguard Beach. The walk to the beach is about 3/4 of a mile, going over a picturesque marsh and woods with classic cape cod shrubs and trees. The parking area has a bathroom and Doane rock itself is very unique to see.

Nice stop to check out this massive rock. Give it a climb. Kids love it. Nearby picnic tables.

Great Pond Beach in Eastham does not have lifeguards, unlike the National Seashore beaches. However, it is an exception among Eastham town beaches as it does have lifeguards. The beach offers amenities such as a small playground and restrooms, making it suitable for families. While there are no concession stands available, an ice cream truck regularly visits throughout the day.
My favorite free public freshwater swimming spot on cape cod close to everything. Has great parking free of charge and is beautiful. Great for kids. Nice sand
Sean T — Google review
Great spot for some chill canoeing, a little dinghy sail or some SUP. Lifeguards and designated swim areas on either side. No facilities.
Colin E — Google review
Great for kids. Easy parking and the beach is clean. Life guards on duty in the summer. Also try Wiley park on the other side of great pond. It has some nice trails, swimming beach and dock. Also a playground for the little ones.
Matthew P — Google review
My favorite swim spot...esp prior to July 1 and after Sept 1. Water is clear and cool. Handstands are possible & fun Opposite vibe of Wiley Park across the way ...and at sunsets, you are practically alone ( hint: they're all at the Bay or Rock Harbor) But, swim area does seem to be getting smaller and boat use bigger. Not crazy about the concrete posts added last year...yes, for safety ( as Eastham has gotten discovered and some folks haven't caught on that our "north of Orleans rotary" crowd don't speed on back roads....we slow down and enjoy it all.
Nancy S — Google review
Very popular spot for good reason. Two sides - one entrance at Wiley Park is great for lounging and jumping off the docks (if they put them in). The other side is great for swimming but also for launching a boat or kayak. Parking and boat launch at boat launch side is for Eastham residents only. Wiley Park I believe you can still pay a fee of you do not have a resident sticker.

The perfect place for kayaking, searching for shells, or just lazing about in the sun! Hidden away in the back streets, it's never too crowded to bring a lunch or play paddle ball. When the summer crowds take over the beaches, Great Pond Beach will give you the day on the beach you deserve.
Grace Z — Google review
Warm freshwater, small beach with portable toilet. Lifeguard at times. Quiet early in the morning with joggers and a few kayakers or canoe fishermen. Like many ponds on the Cape, there are weeds in spots. There are bouy markers for swimming and to keep the boats away. No motorized boats allowed. Locals can rent a spot on the racks to leave their boats. Permit required for parking in season.
Karen M — Google review
Has a section buoyed off for swimming only with life guards. Boat ramp great place to sail/windsurf. I believe on even-numbered days you can water ski with your power boat with 50 horsepower or less Motors. (Eastham beach sticker required"

Great Marsh Kayak Tours offers an unforgettable experience with professional and knowledgeable guides. The tour provides breathtaking views of the surrounding marshlands, abundant wildlife, and opportunities to encounter seals. With expert guidance, visitors can enjoy a leisurely pace while kayaking through oyster farm plots and learning about the area's history and ecology. The tour is perfectly timed with the low tide, making paddling effortless as participants glide towards the open ocean.
Fantastic experience! Booked online for our family of 4, 2 adults, 2 kids in college. We only had a few days on the Cape. There was rain in the forecast, so I was a little worried it’d get cancelled. Jeff called me and kept me up to date with plans. Things worked out great. Harry led our tour. He was very knowledgeable and chill. We went by the oyster cages, went through the marshes, saw seals, spent some time on the beach. Harry told us about the birds, tides… showed us a hermit crab and horse shoe crab. Definitely recommend!

We attended the tour this morning during high tide through the Nauset Marsh. It was a very laid back, cruise through the marshes. There were tons of wildlife during the tour- lots of aquatic birds and seals. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable of the Cape and all the parts of the ecosystem. Great guide and highly recommended.
Gregory P — Google review
Jeff was an absolutely wonderful guide! He provided clear instruction and interesting facts about the sea life in the marsh. Highly recommend!

Returning to Cape Cod after a few years, this is the one activity our family insisted we repeat this trip. Did not disappoint, a beautiful paddle through the marsh with interesting facts about the inhabitants and seals, seals, seals! Jeff is a fantastic guide and this is a memorable experience.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a kayaking tour with Great Marsh Kayaking Tours, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, Jeff was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, making me feel comfortable and confident on the water. The tour itself was breathtakingly beautiful, with stunning views of the surrounding marshlands and abundant wildlife. Jeff was incredibly informative, sharing fascinating facts and stories about the area's history and ecology. Overall, I highly recommend Great Marsh Kayaking Tours to anyone looking for an immersive and unforgettable kayaking experience. Whether you're a seasoned kayaker or a beginner, this tour is sure to exceed your expectations. To that end, I plan on booking additional sessions in their other listed location in Yarmouth soon!!

We had a fantastic tour of the marshes. Our guide Jeff was great. When my friend fell out of her kayak, he was cool, calm, and professional and knew just what to do. We got to check out a great empty beach and learn a lot about the local ecology from quahog clams to the seals, egrets and ospreys.
Yoni W — Google review
We had so much fun on the high tide paddle with Jeff, our Naturalist, who shared all kinds of local knowledge about the marsh biome, the National Seashore, and marine mammal conservation efforts. 10 out of 10 would recommend! 🤩🦭☀️🌊

We took the Eastham high tide marsh kayak tour with Jeff. It was an amazing experience. We happened to encounter a group of seals in the harbor and so enjoyed watching them pop up near our boats. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable and a great guide. Lovely paddle experience for our whole group.

Theaters
Cape Rep Theatre, established in 1986 and located on the outskirts of Nickerson State Park, offers a diverse range of theatrical productions. The theater features a 135-seat indoor stage for plays and musicals from May to December, as well as Cape Cod's only outdoor theater with seating for 200 during the summer months. In addition to staging lesser-known and new productions, the theater also hosts children's shows in the outdoor theater.
One of Cape Cod’s best theaters! Indoor, outdoor and kid shows & you have to drive down a fun curvy trail to get there! Check out a show with plenty of multi-talented actors! I can’t wait to go back

On 8/27/25 my wife and son went to the SpongeBob musical and absolutely loved the show. Our son went on and on about different things that happened in the show. Both my wife and son highly recommend seeing this if shows are still available and you’re in the Cape.
David W — Google review
The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and the venue was accessible for our mobility impaired family member. Good seating options even for general admission. We were able to see and enjoy the show from the back. Saw a 2 pm October show of Trad at the barn, and it was so hot and dark in there that multiple people dozed off... That took away from our experience. However, the cast and fiddler did a great job to represent their respective crafts. The fiddling in particular made the show for us.

We attended 2 plays this season and they were both fantastic; not hearing the buz around the Cape on this place and it appears to be way above many others - great stories, acting, and stage design. Make sure and see "Come On-A My House" before it closes in November. Great songs, dancing, and story with a surprise!
Susan C — Google review
This local theater company is a must-visit if you love the theater. It punches above its weight and often has shows that are as good as or better than Boston theater. The talent is also outstanding. You may not get a Hollywood name, but who cares - the actors give their heart and soul and it shows. What also makes it unique is that it is so small and intimate - one can often find the actors mingling after the show. It also brings in truly interesting plays and every season has at least one show that you will want to watch. Most recently in the summer of 2023 the lineup included "A Man of No Importance", about the plight of a gay man in conservative, Catholic Ireland, and The Pianist of Willesden Lane, about a Holocaust child survivor who became a world famous pianist. There is so much cultural variety and often the theme is tolerance - how important it is for us to tolerate and listen to each other. And it does it in such a wonderful way that tugs at your heart strings. There is also a great outdoor children's theater program right in the woods, which is amazing.
Natty H — Google review
My wife and I attended a performance of "From the Heart of the Wreck", and were mightily impressed. The show itself was brilliant, extraordinarily well conceived, acted, staged, and choreographed; and, IMHO, the intimate setting of the theater was perfect (if not essential) for conveying the intense emotional impact of the play. It was our first time ever attending a show at Cape Rep, but I can assure you it will not be our last! Kudos and thanks to the cast and crew for a wonderful theater experience!
Steven M — Google review
We saw Noises Off last night at Cape Rep's outdoor theatre. The show was fantastic! I was familiar with the show and excited to see how they worked the complicated set. They were quite clever! The show was very well cast. Everyone associated with the theatre (ticket booth, ushers) was very friendly. Great night out!
Jennifer T — Google review
The children's theater was fantastic. It's a beautiful outdoor venue with a great actors that love to interact with the kids. One of the best places to take the family while on the Cape. If you have the time stop in for a show you won't be disappointed. If you don't have time, you should make time. Your kids will thank you.

Nestled near the Orleans rotary, The Knack is a modern roadside gem that captures the essence of Cape Cod dining. This delightful stop specializes in classic summer fare like juicy hamburgers, fresh lobster rolls, and tasty hot dogs, all served with a side of homemade pickles. With a dog-friendly patio, it’s an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy their meal outdoors after a day at the beach.
Love stopping at the knack when I’m in the area. They are consistent and a quick bite, at least in the off season. Usually wait 10 mins or less once you place your order. The variety on the menu is just enough to have something for everyone. I always go for the fish or veggie tacos. They are the perfect sized meal and tasty. The shakes are also a nice sweet treat! They serve dine in and to go so definitely stop by if you’re in the area and enjoy, cheers!
Lauren J — Google review
Fish tacos were so disappointing. Fried well but dusted with Cajun or similar spice that overpowered the pickled cabbage and the fish. Lobster roll was great looking with big claw chunks and a well toasted proper New England top split bun but the meat was a bit flat as was the lemon mayo. Outside seating is nice and they have a great water and ice station.

such a gem! amazing, fresh food and quick service - even with the place being packed! the fish sandwich was amazing, and so was the lobster roll! also ordered the onion rings, and they were so delicious! would highly recommend!
Ellie — Google review
No frills counter service serving New England classics far below market price. My partner got a delicious lobster for $23! A few random things are slightly overpriced but still delicious. I believe 10% of their dessert proceeds go to charity. Got pooped on twice back to back by a bird but that’s not their fault, the nice open air part in the back is 100% open air. Will be back!

We visited on Monday in mid-June 2025 for dinner. There was very few parking spots at the restaurant. We were lucky and got a spot as someone was pulling out when we arrived. There was a line but it moved pretty fast. It does take a few mins for them to make the food. We decided to dine in. The weather was nice and they had shaded area in the back. We actually did 2 orders. We ordered one set of items and it was so good we decided to go back and order more. haha. Our first order: - Butcher Burger with sauce on side double: kid at it all. - Ring Burger double: good, kid ate it all - Pickle and Peppers double: good, kid ate it all - Fried Fish Sandwich: larger than expected, very good. - Fried Chicken Sandwich: larger than expected, very good. Our second order: - Burcher Burger with sauce on side single: Same picky kid finished it all again too. - 2 onion rings: reminded me of blooming onion with sauce but more fine. Very good. - Lobster roll: really good with lots of large lobster pieces but bun was very cold. Wish it was more room temp. - Fried Clam sandwich: really good with lots of clams. We enjoyed everything, there was nothing that we wouldn't order again. It was a bit on the pricey side but the quality of the food was spot on. There was tons of people here too so I'm guessing it must be good and value was good too. You get what you pay for here. This was also the cheapest price for a lobster roll we had seen for our entire trip up the Northeast coast. The atmosphere here was great too with the seating. They have walls that come out if it starts raining or maybe if it gets too cold. We saw that they have in ceiling heaters as well but it was nice evening and they weren't on. The bathroom was also very nice and clean. Overall, great food, great staff and great atmosphere. Couldn't ask for much more. We would visit again if we were in the area. But because of cost I think it would be mainly for a special treat. We were on vacation so we splurged a bit here.
David L — Google review
Great burgers, including a very good veggie burger. They do not serve fries, but the carrot and apple slaw was delicious! This place has only outdoor seating and orders are taken from a walk-up window. Despite being right next to the road, it feels more secured than I thought it would thanks to a tall, solid fence.
M W — Google review
If you want a classic cape vibe this is a good place to go! The food service is through a window and there is an option for online ordering. Everyone there is pretty friendly and helpful. The food is pretty decent and I’m a biggg fan of the onion rings!

If you're on the hunt for a slice of authentic New York-style pizza, look no further than Remo's Pizzeria. Formerly known as Good Eats, this gem takes pride in its Brooklyn roots and offers an impressive menu that showcases their commitment to quality. Their crust is a standout feature, crafted from sourdough and fermented for 48 hours, resulting in a delightful texture that's hard to beat.
Remo was a nice host and also a great chef. We ordered chicken pesto pizza and was decent considering the place and availability. Would recommend

Tried this place for lunch today! The pizza was amazing, reminded me of wood oven NY pizza 🍕 I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken which was also really good!! I would definitely return to try additional items from their menu, I was very impressed with the food on my initial visit. Very reasonable prices!!!

Grabbed a take-out order of a New York style pizza, chicken wings, and a Greek salad. I'm from Buffalo so hard to please when it comes to wings, but they were good though not crispy if you like them that way, however the pizza was incredible and the salad very fresh. Would definitely go back.

Shout out to Remo’s Pizzeria (formerly Good Eats) for their AMAZING pizza this evening. Brooklyn raised, I take my NY style pizza seriously. And as a sourdough baker, it was evident how superior their crust is (they use sourdough and do a 48 hour ferment). And toppings were generous, sauce flavorful. I just had to share😍

Coffee shop
Dunkin' is a well-established and popular coffee chain that offers a range of breakfast items and an assortment of coffee beverages. This particular branch is often crowded, especially since it is one of the few in the area, leading to long lines. To avoid waiting, ordering ahead with their app is recommended. Occasionally, some menu items like espresso may be unavailable due to the pandemic. Despite this, the food offered such as donuts, bagels, and muffins are generally delicious.
My favorite Dunkin' now. Spacious compared to most, making it easy to get some work done. When I ordered my coffee today, it was ready in less than 45 seconds. I had to verify that it was actually mine because it seemed a little too fast. Nice staff to boot! I'm coming back tomorrow.

Went to get some donuts for my grandkids and i didn’t want to spend a fortune and so Dunkin’ was great. The store front is a little rough but the inside was clean and the workers were nice and friendly and helpful. The donuts tasted fresh and me and my grandkids ate a bunch so I can’t complain. Good prices.

Been many times, no problem, food very good. Today, ordered 2 coffees and was given one with 2 stickers. I removed the 2nd sticker and politely asked for the missing coffee after proving, at request, that I ordered 2. She made the coffee, no smile the whole time. When I got home, I found the coffee was 1/5 coffee grounds and totally undrinkable. This was totally unnecessary, unprofessional, and makes me want to check my coffee if she waits on me again.

Not sure what’s up with the new summer employees but the way they speak (actually SHOUT) to each other in front of customers is disgusting and embarrassing. Bring back the old manager! She was the best.

Seafood restaurant
Macs Market & Kitchen in Eastham is a popular upscale American seafood restaurant and bar, known for its fresh and locally sourced dishes. It's a great spot for a family dinner or to catch a game with friends at the bar. Hikers often visit after an evening run to refuel, appreciating the delicious food, friendly service, and scenic views from the restaurant's windows. In addition to dining in, customers can also purchase raw fresh seafood from the market on-site.
I had such an insanely good experience at Mac’s Market and Kitchen all thanks to AJ, one of the employees there! We ordered the lobster roll, chowder, and a steamed lobster (only $11.99/ pound)! The market let us know that the steamed lobster would be a to-go order, so I was just expecting it in a bag, but AJ went above and beyond since he knew we would be eating outside, he even cracked the claw shells and tail for me! It was so nice of him, and the lobster quality was phenomenal! Lobster is my favorite food, and I can say it was perfectly cooked! Would 100% recommend going to Mac’s for the delicious chowder and lobster and amazing service!

Good food. The grilled shrimp was delicious. Part of our order was forgotten and it took the whole time the rest of the group ate to get the missing food so that was a bummer. It was nice to sit outside at picnic tables.

!!!RAW CHICKEN!!! alert. Went on 4/21/2025 with my family. We are Eastham locals and it pains me to write this review. We ordered some fish tacos, a beer, and the chicken tenders for my 4 year old. The first issue was when I asked for a cup of water they refused. I was told I must buy a bottle of water for $2. Shady but ok. Then came the wait. After 30 minutes the tenders came out (tacos not prepared yet) and wow are we happy we broke them in half. Had my son eaten one….yeah…use your imagination. The staff refunded our meal and gave a nonchalant, mostly tepid apology. One staff member ducked out in shame. Couldn’t blame him. Thankfully, we drove down the street to The Knack and got some fully cooked (homemade) tenders and tacos. I would be very careful eating at Mac’s or even buying their fish to go. I think the health department should make a visit in the near future before someone gets salmonella.
Matthew E — Google review
The food was pretty good. I had fish and chips and also some calamari. Both were good but the calamari seemed a bit moist and not crispy. That could have been from being in a takeout container though. The fish was a little dry but still nicely breaded. Fries were good. Service for takeout was good and prices were on higher end for what I received
Sam L — Google review
I should say this is a great place to get seafood, but little over budget. Lobster roll is really nice, I love the raw bar as well, oysters are nice! The fried calamari tastes great with ketchup. I don’t like the clam chowder there, it’s not creamy at all. But poke bowl with salmon tastes great! We seat outdoor to eat.
Grace F — Google review
I loved this place! It was delicious and so comforting to go to a seafood restaurant where everything on the menu was celiac safe. I tried the fried shrimp and scallops, the fish tacos, and the clam chowder. The tacos were my favorite, but the fried seafood and fries were also good
Andrea L — Google review
Our first night in town, stopped here for an assortment of fried clams. The fried clams by the time we arrived back our rental 3 minutes away already had grease soaked through the container and was leaking out of the bag. Placing the container on the table allowed the oil to pool on the table. The large order of clam strip yielded about 6 to 8 pieces 2 inches or larger. The rest were about 1/2” pieces with a heavy taste of burnt oil. The whole belly were about the same, all were slightly larger than a quarter. The bill was $220.00 and two full boxes (half our order) was thrown out as they were an inedible crumbling mess of burnt tasting cooking oil. Absolutely nothing in this order tasted like a fried clam we craved during our 8 hour ride here. We chose the place because of the high reviews, but our order was nothing like we expected or paid for. Do yourself a favor and don’t even try this place or waste your money on this poorly cooked seafood. Food pickup was interesting too. We called the order in, traveled the 3 minutes and arrived while it was still being cooked as we could see the chef. We waited in line inside and when I asked for the order, the woman stated you need to go outside to the window. Nobody was outside in line, the window was closed and we were 6 feet away from the woman working the window with our food right in front of us. So we walked outside, asked for our food and the woman picked up the bag that was six feet in front of us when we were inside and handed it to us. I could see if the place was busy and we needed to wait our turn in line, but there was no line…

If you're anywhere near Eastham and are looking for quality fresh fish from a friendly knowledgeable staff, Mac's is where you want to go! We have been shopping here for several years and have never been disappointed. We've purchased chowder (maybe the best I've ever tasted), cod, lobster, swordfish, dozens of raw oysters, clams and all tasted like it must have come out of the water that morning. They also have a menu of prepared food you can enjoy at picnic tables in the shade next to their building. We have been spending at least two weeks on The Cape for the last 18 years and Mac's has become one of the highlights of our annual visit. Highly recommend!!

The Academy of Performing Arts is a small yet impressive theater that hosts performances, dance and music classes for individuals of all ages. Along with this, the theater also has an art gallery. Although being a community theater, the shows put up by the talented performers and creative direction at the theater are exceptional. The seating capacity being only a couple hundred seats makes it necessary to book tickets in advance to avoid missing out on any shows.
We love this little theater in Orleans and try to see as many shows as we can. We just saw Young Frankenstein which was excellent! I would recommend trying to get a seat in the middle as opposed to the sides. We enjoyed every show we’ve been too. Staff is always friendly.

The venue is a quaint place that has an intimate feel. Seats about 250 people. There is no bad seat in the playhouse. Will surely see another production here when I come back to the Cape. The production I saw was Oliver. The kids were so engaging. The adult actors were very good.

Great community theater. Talented group of volunteers. Bought tickets online, concession and street parking.

This was my first visit to the Academy Playhouse located on Main Street in Orleans. It is a great local theater with local talent in the cast. It's certainly worth an evening if you are in the area. The intimate venue assures that any seat will be a good one and make you feel like part of the show. Also plenty of onsite parking. Enjoy!!!

The atmosphere here is truly neighborhood ... sort of a top quality high school play vibe, where you're wowed by the talent, but there's a sort of graduation hoot and holler quality to the audience/performers relationship . Any generous donors should give funding for nighttime lighting outside as the exiting is a treacherous affair without a flashlight or cell phone light!
JON E — Google review
Great little theater small and intimate. You feel like your part of the show. We had seen an American Idiot. The performance was fantastic. The cast was electrifying. Can’t wait to see another show there.

Went to see Mary Poppins. It was incredible! I liked it better than the movie. The cast is amazing. The Banks make a great dynamic, Mary Poppins is of course amazing. Beautiful and a true star. Burt was phenomenal. Beside being a narrator of sorts, I think Burt stole the show with his spot on British accent, and perfect demeanor. All in all, I loved it!

Red Maple Swamp Trail

Hiking area
The Red Maple Swamp Trail is a popular walking trail on Cape Cod known for its stunning autumn foliage. It's a half-hour walk that offers big rewards in terms of natural beauty. Located in the Eastham section of the National Seashore, this trail features an elevated boardwalk over the Red Maple Swamp and offers glorious views of the surrounding woodlands, making it a favorite spot for hikers and nature enthusiasts.
The parking for the red maple swamp trail is very limited. Be sure to go early. The Red Maple trail is located within the fort hill trail area. Most of the hike is on a Boardwalk so it is flat and easy to walk. The trail was maybe a little more than 1 mile and connects to other trails if you wanted a longer hike. The trail is beautiful. Definitely take your time and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Utter silence in nature! So peaceful. Itis a great walk, just over a mile. I suspect that it may be buggy in the gear of summer dues to standing swampy water. We loved it in early spring though and look forward to returning.
Michelle K — Google review
We visited on a Sunday afternoon in mid-June 2025. The trail head doesn't have very many parking spots along the side of the road. We weren't sure if we could park down by the water where the boat launch was so we stuck closer to the trail head. There are pit toilets here and the trail forks. We decided to go right on the board walk and go around and tie it into the Fort Hill Trail. Both together isn't very long and at a leisurely stroll while taking photos as well it took us about 1 hr. There was also a small parking lot at the Fort Hill Trail Head and at the Fort Hill Overlook. The trail was relatively short and had a lot of different elements and changing scenery so it kept our ADHD youngest one entertained with out much complaints. Great for beginners. Overall we'd probably do this again if we were in the area. It was short and interesting. There are a lot of other trails we could do but this one was also close to the salt pond visitor center.
David L — Google review
Well maintained trails and nice boardwalk. We visited after a rainstorm and it was quite stunning, but it is a very busy trail!! We walked on the edge of the salt March and had to turn back due to knee high water. It can be quite muddy so don't wear your favorite sneakers! Modern facilities near Hemenway Landing. No picnic area.
Amy S — Google review
Beautiful, mostly shaded, fully elevated and trex decked pathway makes a comfortable, short, and enjoyable walk. You can start at the boat launch side and do a full loop going from Red Maple Swamp Trail to the Penniman House to a trail behind the house that leads to the lookout and from there to Indian Rock (via Fort Hill Trail) and back to the start.

This is a little gem of natural habitat for frogs, snakes, redwing blackbirds, hawks, red maples, ferns, and summer sweet. This trail is tucked between a marshy boat landing with access to the Atlantic at Coast Guard and Fort Hill.

Rock Harbor Grill in Orleans definitely meets and exceeds ALL of the rave reviews! We had the artisan salad with grilled shrimp and the NEW Calamari Salad that just hit their menu .. hands down the BEST salads we have had in months! It is WORTH the trip up the Cape! Friendly and attentive service, amazing atmosphere, and the food was exceptional!

This place is awesome, their food is consistently really good, the salmon dish I ordered was amazing. The pretzel bread to start with is always a favorite and their pizza is good too. Always a nice time
Cam B — Google review
I’m excited about this place. We got the Guinness Fish and Chip and the salmon dish for eat in and a pizza to go. All outstanding! Loved the wood fire pizza oven as ambience. Wonderful bar setting. Staff great. I want to say the owner or manager made his way to each table to ask how things were and that was very nice and caring. Definitely will get a couple of visits each time we come to the Cape. To go pizza held its crunch next day out of toaster oven.

They have bar, covered outdoor, and indoor seating. We went at 530 and there were a few tables but when we left at 630, the place was packed. All the staff was friendly and efficient. They give you soft pretzel logs with a seasoned butter instead of bread- LOVE! Large menu with drinks and food. Pizza was awesome and it came out super fast. Highly recommend if in the area.

The rock harbor grille was a great experience. We have gone to the cape my whole life and have tried pretty much everywhere over the years. They give you fresh pretzels for bread with a unique butter dip. The pasta and clam dish had a unique roasted tomato guanciale and basil that made it stand out. My father in law loved the salmon, and the cod dish and grazing board were superb. Service was great, highly recommend giving the place a shot. We went again this week, some of our group got the salmon, my mother in law tried the scallop special. Everything including drinks was good. I got the beef and reed which was very filling, the swordfish was great. The wing appetizer was also good but expensive for 8 wings. We love this place .

I ordered our food online for 5 people about 10 minutes after the restaurant opened, and 2 of us went to pick it up before the 35 minutes posted on the site. When we got there, I went in to let the hostess know we were there early, but no pressure. As I looked around the dining room, every table was packed with people, all laughing and having a good time. The hostess was great! She said I could sit in the foyer and my bag would be there soon. It was, a few minutes later. Everyone in my group loved what they ordered. The food was delicious and quite enough to fill us up. Thank you!

A friend had dined here on previous vacations and had since heard from others that the pizza was great, so we went last night to see if it measured up to the hype. It did, one-hundred percent! We were sat almost immediately...there is indoor seating and outdoor screened-in seating. We ended up with a fabulous server, Jayde S. She was so personable, friendly, and attentive, and she was great at giving recommendations. They have a nice variety of specialty cocktails to choose from. Two of us had the Orchard Grog: Twenty Boat Spiced Rum, Orchard Pear Liquor, and apple cider; It was super-tasty and warmed us up after being outside in the chilly evening air. The third had the Cape Cod Red from the tap. Our server asked if we wanted the complimentary pretzel bread sticks...which come with whipped mustard butter...and we were glad we'd said yes. They're warm and fluffy inside, with a smooth pretzel-like finish on the outside. Combined with the tasty, subtle mustard butter, they were a great little starter before dinner. One of us got a side salad, which had a nice variety of fresh salad veggies atop the greens, and I got a side of their fresh broccoli slaw. The slaw was crunchy and flavorful. I'd absolutely order it again! (Fyi...contains cilantro; I'm not sure if they can serve it without for those whose taste buds aren't cilantro friendly.) Our three choices for pizzas were: Wild Mushroom pizza, a Traditional Pizza customized with added carmelized onion, and a Traditional Pizza customized with goat cheese and pepperoni. All three got big thumbs up! The crust is nice and thin and had a perfect crispiness to it. The edge crust was crispy, while the inside stayed soft and airy, so we all gobbled every bit of each slice we'd had right up. We noted that on each pizza, the toppings were generously portioned out at a ratio that resulted in every piece having a good amount of toppings. For dessert, one of us ordered the Sticky Toffee Cake. Jayde brought us three spoons, and we were all very happy she did. That toffee cake was *amazing*! The cake was dense and moist, and the toffee syrup was smooth and absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious! There were little flakes of toffee crisp here and there in the sauce. We did order it a lá mode, so it came with a small square bowl of vanilla with a generous drizzle of more toffee syrup. This dessert is HEAVENLY! (My photo shows it with a spoonful taken out of it because I couldn't wait to dig in! 😉) We will absolutely come back here in the future!

Visitors can enjoy dishes such as Portuguese bouillabaisse filled with various seafood in a tomato saffron broth, along with creative cocktails like the Meet Your Maker Manhattan.
Absolutely love this place!! Amazing food!!! The tuna sashimi was amazing. Must try the combo meat skewers. The shrimp is so buttery and delicious. The pan roasted lobster was so tasty and cooked perfectly. The Atlantic Steamer bowl. Was a bowl full of amazing steamy goodness. We also added a lobster to it and it was soooo good. The chicken Caesar salad was very good and the chicken cooked perfectly. The NY strip steak was cooked to perfection.

we liked the clam chowder, the crisp calamari, and the dessert molten lava cake a lot. however, the altantic fresh seafood pot is on the bland side

Mahoney's is an amazing restaurant! Our food was so good and the Mahoney family is awesome! For our appetizers we had the crisp calamari and the hot spinach dip and they were both spectacular. For my main course, I had the new yorker and it was cooked to perfection and the sauce was to die for. Paired with the risotto, it was the perfect dish. I had the molten chocolate cake for dessert and it was great and the ice cream on the side was amazing. Our service was great and everyone was very welcoming. I would highly recommend for a higher end dining experience

Very friendly waitress named Deborah. Loud restaurant. Our scallop dinners were good. The mushroom risotto a bit undercooked. Clam chowder tasted great. Never had a blueberry white chocolate bread pudding. That was delicious and enjoyed by both of us! The tea service was elegant with a pot and cup in one.

La Bella Vita Kitchen and Bar is a popular Italian-inspired restaurant known for its locally sourced seafood and simple yet inviting atmosphere. With a focus on Italian, American, and fresh local seafood dishes, this restaurant is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Additionally, the outdoor area features firepits where patrons can relax with drinks.
A very charming little restaurant—we came here for dinner. Even though it was past 8 PM, the place was still full, and we waited about 10 minutes for a table. The white sauce here is excellent. We had the Alfredo with risotto, which was rich and satisfying. We also ordered a Classic Pizza, which was delicious fresh out of the oven, with a wonderfully crispy crust. It did start to feel a bit salty after it cooled down, though. The tiramisu was served with some Nutella and chocolate sauce, giving it a unique twist.

This was our second time having dinner here. We made a reservation in advance as it gets busy, even on a Wednesday. Our waitress, Joy, was very attentive and checked back often to make sure everything was to our liking. We started with the fried calamari which were good but could have opted for a little more sauce. My spouse has the chicken picatta which was rather disappointing. It was barely a chicken breast sliced in half. The sauce was light and lacked flavor. The pasta that came with the dish was plentiful, but again, light on sauce and flavor. I ordered the orange ginger salmon special. The salmon was delicious with the orange ginger sauce. The side of broccolini and roasted red potatoes ( opted for rather than garlic mashed) lacked flavor. We declined ordering a dessert as we didn't see our favorites on the menu. The bar area was very busy but not noisy and the restaurant filled up quickly. The service itself was wonderful.

As a Cape Codder, I try out restaurants I haven't been to yet. This little restaurant with a lovely outdoor area is a treat. The Summer Primavera plate is full of flavor, and the staff is inviting and welcoming. A shout out to Michael, who is well versed in the recommendation that was suited to my palette. He was attentive and has a great smile. I was impressed by the GM Missy, who took the time to check on me to see if I was enjoying my meal, and to chat.

Definitely a must visit place while on the cape! We made reservations and arrived about 45 minutes early. They were able to accommodate us quickly and seat us on the porch upon request. The porch was beautiful. Our server, Ashley, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very enthusiastic about the offerings. The bartender’s drinks were far superior to the versions of the same drinks we’ve tried to make at home. The food was fresh and delicious, and portions were generous. Every staff member we interacted with was warm and welcoming.

Every time we go here the food is amazing and the staff is great. I had the espresso martini and we split some apps with friends. The Brussels sprouts app was so good, we also split a Cesar salad and the cheesy garlic bread. I highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t regret it. The only disappointing thing was that we had plans so we couldn’t stay for dinner- the twin Marsala Tornedoes were calling my name!

My experience was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel right at home. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, with our server offering perfect recommendations for both food and drinks. Speaking of drinks, the cocktails were a highlight! Each one was expertly crafted, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented—definitely some of the best I’ve had in a while. Try the peach basil smash! The food was equally incredible; every dish, from the creamy alfredo to the perfectly cooked gnocchi special, was a love letter to Italian cuisine. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable , making it ideal for a special night out. I can’t wait to return for more of their delicious food, stellar service, and those unforgettable cocktails! Highly recommend!

Amazing food - solidly Italian offering. Well made cocktails and a nice beer, cider and wine selection. Firstly they have a nice waiting area - with fire pits and Adirondack chairs etc. Second (or should it be first?) they have a bar window where you can get service while you wait... Which reduces the sting of a 20 minute wait by a large margin. Covered seating on a three season porch in the late summer/early fall... With overhead heaters... Magic. Service was solid without being over the top - and the food was excellent. A glass of red with a couple of fillet tournados - and it was very satisfying.

Taco restaurant
Las Chidas is a small taco joint with a vibrant and fun atmosphere that combines Baja surfer vibes with Oaxaca Day of the Dead elements. The restaurant offers indoor seating with a full bar as well as outdoor seating where patrons can bring their pets. The graffiti-adorned bathrooms add to the hip ambiance, and the staff is known for being attentive and knowledgeable.
We have wanted to try Las Chidas. Being with a large group of friends it was always too busy. On an October, Monday night we finally had dinner here and we wish we tried harder to eat here sooner. It was the perfect combination of delicious food, perfect cocktails, nice customers and a great bartender. The inside is on the small side but a covered area (with heaters) gives many more tables. We got lucky and found two seats at the bar. We ordered two drinks as we looked at the menu. The bartender (Grace) made our tequila drinks exactly as we wanted (less sweet). She talked to everyone sitting at the bar and made our experience extra fun. Las Chidas looks great with lots of bright colors and cool artwork. Make sure you check out the bathrooms. It’s really cool looking. I like when a restaurant puts as much into the bathroom as the main area. For dinner we had Birria Tacos, shrimp tacos, Baja slaw, Rice, Beans, plus guacamole, chips and salsa. Everything was delicious. If we lived near Las Chidas we would eat there often.

Delicious lunch at Las Chidas - all made from scratch by the super-friendly owners. Top-notch margaritas as well. This small place in 6A, next to the Bird Watchers’ General Store in Orleans, is well worth a visit. It is open for lunch and dinner.

This place has some really good tacos. We tried all but the mushroom tacos. I liked the shrimp ones the best my kids liked the pork and pineapple and my wife thought the chicken was the best. So they were all well received. They were very fast we called for takeout and they were ready with 21 tacos on 15 minutes. We also got some guac and chips and the guac was great and very fresh.
Mark T — Google review
We were very let down by the food here… service was great, but we did not find any of the food we ordered appetizing. For the price point, I had higher expectations in the quality of food (appetizers and entrees were ordered). I attached a picture of the chips and queso we ordered, the chips tasted burnt and stale & the queso came out room temperature & looked/tasted like nacho cheese sauce from a jar. I’m not one to usually leave a review but in the sanctity of queso I had to…If you’re looking for authentic or flavorful Mexican food, this is not for you.

I don’t make it to Orleans very often but so happy I went and checked out the new Taco bar! Service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Atmosphere is hip, absolutely need to check out the graffiti on the bathrooms 😍 Paula had great drink suggestions and helpful when trying to choose between the fried brussel sprouts or fish tacos. Spicy mango margarita was just the right amount of sweet & spice I was craving and I have to say they were the best fish tacos I have had on the cape! That’s saying a lot since it’s what I get every where I go. The fish portion to salsa ration was on point. If you haven’t been yet you gotta check it out. And if you have been it’s worth trying again! Love the new additions to the menu can’t wait to see what they come up with next.

Las Chidas is a hidden gem located in plane sight in downtown Orleans. In addition to the fresh, flavor-filled food and reasonably priced artsinal cocktails, it also has a water view. I highly recommend it!

Las Chidas is a taco bar that while rather small, offers a great spot for a quick bite. We brought our 9 month old and ate outside. The tacos were made fresh but quickly and the slow cooked beef was amazing. The tequila drinks and guacamole and chips topped everything off. The service was fast and efficient with toast handhelds. I’d highly recommend, as I am always willing to sacrifice atmosphere if the food is good.

Chefs kiss!!! We pulled into Atlantic Oaks RV Park, got settled, then headed out on our E-bikes. We stopped at 3 different places along the way but nothing really caught our liking. Until we decided at Las Chidas! It was busy but there were seats at the bar. I had an amazing Paloma (sans salt rim) right away. We proceeded with the ceviche- perfect! Then came the street corn-best I ever had! Along with coconut shrimp with mango jalapeño sauce-perfectly matched. Bring on the steamed clams which were made with poblano and coconut milk-so good. Lastly the Adobo Chicken street tacos were spot on. We were there during the dinner/holiday rush time and the place was very busy. I was super impressed with Paula (manager & bartender extraordinaire), as she made drink after drink after drink with great finesse. I was extreme impressed with the ability of the busy kitchen & bar staff to provide excellent food and drinks timely and with such beautiful presentation. Kudos Las Chidas!
