Shopping mall
Shopping
Senzo Mall, the largest mall in Hurghada, has been a popular shopping destination since 2009. It offers a wide range of international brands, a food court, hypermarket, and kids' play area. The mall features various sections filled with excellent clothing and shoe stores from famous brands like Mango, Adidas, and Aldo. Additionally, there's a supermarket for daily necessities and dining options such as McDonald's and Saya Cafe.
Brilliant place to visit. They have a McDonalds and kfc. The portion sizes are twice as big as the uk. Also Spinneys is brilliant it’s almost like Asda it has everything and all priced so you won’t get ripped off.

Good shopping place however everything is a bit pricey in comparison to local markets

Good food. The Mall is Expensive, good for window shopping. We went there for Kidso.

Not far from the resort ,10-15 min walk ,big mall with loads to buy and eat there as well
Imola K — Google review
Senzo Mall is a modern and easily accessible shopping center in Hurghada that offers a wide variety of stores and services. You’ll find everything from well-known clothing chains to supermarkets with food, drinks, cosmetics, and personal care items. There's also a pharmacy, electronics stores. For dining, you can choose from popular fast food options like McDonald’s, KFC, and Pizza Hut, as well as other restaurants and local food stands. The mall also features a nice café where smoking is allowed, which can be unpleasant for non-smokers. Overall, Senzo Mall is a great place for all kinds of shopping – whether you need to grab some essentials during your vacation or simply want to browse. It’s clean, air-conditioned, and easy to navigate, making it a convenient and comfortable spot to spend a few hours.

I was in Egypt for two weeks. This mall was really nice. They had a lot of great stores and even a grocery store.
Marsha G — Google review
Nice small mall. Clean inside and outside. There are cafes, restaurants, food court. There are local brand stores and stores of famous popular brands, but I would like more international stores. On Fridays and holidays there is an entertainment program for children.

Excellent modern shopping center highly reccomend a visit & had dinner at 'chillis ' in the outdoor food court

Pickalbatros Jungle Aqua Park Resort - Neverland Hurghada

Hotel
The Pickalbatros Jungle Aqua Park Resort - Neverland Hurghada is a popular all-inclusive resort located in the Jungle Park district, just a short drive from Hurghada city center. It's known for its cleanliness and great location, making it a top choice for families and couples. The resort features bungalows with terraces or balconies offering views of the gardens or pools.
Our stay at the Pickalbatros Jungle Aquapark Neverland hotel was truly unforgettable! At the very beginning, we were greeted by smiling ladies with lollipops, which immediately put us in the holiday mood. The reception worked smoothly, and the gentlemen working there were very helpful and always ready to provide information. All the hotel staff deserves great applause! The cooks served delicious dishes that delighted with their variety and flavour. The waiters and bartenders were extremely courteous, always making sure that we had everything we needed. The service of the game room and the amusement park was full of energy and enthusiasm, which made us spend a lot of joyful moments there. Special thanks to the lifeguards and gentlemen at the slides, who took care of our safety and at the same time provided great fun. Cleaners and gardeners also deserve praise - their work made the entire facility always clean and well-kept. Bus drivers were very helpful and always ready to take us to the right place, and the animators organised fantastic attractions, thanks to which every day was full of joy. I hope I didn't miss anyone in creating such a wonderful place. Thanks to all these wonderful people, our stay at the Hotel Pickalbatros Jungle Aquapark Neverland was one of the best holidays ever. We will definitely come back!

I stayed here on 17th September. My wife and 3 kids. We were upgraded to the royal suites (room 7171) and informed of the upgrade just before we boarded the plane from the uk. What a nice surprise! The rooms were immaculate and the AC was ice cold 🧊. We had 2 balconies which was a plus. The hotel overall was absolutely amazing, and so BIG! The water parks were amazing and so much variety. One thing I would chnage is the timings for yhe restaurants and food which feel like they close too early and also if there were clearler signs of the shuttle bus that runs theough the park and timings but other then thay the overall holiday and resort were absolutely fantastic. I would also like to comment Mahmud the general manager who was fantastic and the guest services staff!
Muktadir A — Google review
The staff are amazing here at the Jungle Aqua Park, always friendly and happy to help. The resort as a whole is amazing with loads to do for family members of all ages. We had a really amazing time with the wealth of slides, pools, and activities to do all included in our stay. Food selection was great, although a bit repetitive after a while. Would be nice to see some lighter options around lunch rather than all the hot foods which are also served in the evening. The VR is a cool addition to the resort but there is a bit of a queue most of the time. Think this should be restricted to kids only more so the adults don’t take over as much as they seem to.
Alan R — Google review
The hotel area is very large and massive, with plenty of swimming pools. The water park was fun for the kids, even though most of the slides and facilities were quite worn out and past their prime. The children had a great time, but for us, three nights were more than enough. Unfortunately, there was no real “wow” moment — the overall experience could have been much more pleasant. There were so many negative aspects that made our stay far less enjoyable than we hoped. Considering the hotel is not cheap (around €400 per night), we expected much better value for money, which we definitely did not get. Food: There are several restaurants on-site, but the food was almost identical everywhere. Small variations existed (for example, spaghetti in the Italian restaurant), but overall, the dishes and salads were repetitive. The food was just okay — not terrible, but far from impressive. Customer Service: Customer service was disappointing. In a hotel this expensive, we expected friendly and professional service. However, most staff members looked tired or frustrated, rarely smiled, and didn’t seem to care much about guests. The service often felt cold and unwelcoming. All-Inclusive Experience: Because the resort is so large, the layout of the bars, restaurants, and snack bars felt inconvenient — almost as if it was designed to make you consume less. The snack bar offered dry sandwiches without any sauce, just plain bread with meat. Drinks were the cheapest local options, and cocktails were poorly mixed and inconsistent — sometimes too strong, sometimes too weak. The overall all-inclusive experience was disappointing and not worth the price. Reception: The reception service was terrible. We asked for a hairdryer every day for three days — four times a day — and never received it. Each time they promised to bring it “soon,” but it never happened, and no one even apologized for the inconvenience. Overall: Jungle Aquapark could be an amazing destination thanks to its size and facilities, but the service and quality do not match the high price. For us, three nights were enough.

We recently stayed at Jungle Aqua Park in Hurghada as a large family group 6 adults, 3 children, and 1 baby and sadly, our experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, we had booked 4 rooms through our travel agency and had full written confirmation of this. However, during check in , we were made to wait for over an hour while the staff tried to find our booking. They claimed that our fourth room wasn't in their system and told us it had been cancelled, which made no sense. Even worse, they asked us to pay the full amount again for the fourth room, despite us clearly showing confirmation from the agency. This caused unnecessary stress and commotion for no reason, especially after a long journey with children and a baby. The reception staff were rude, unhelpful, and dismissive throughout. After a long argument, they suddenly managed to find the booking and admit the room was confirmed all along something that should have been handled quickly and professionally from the start. The health and safety at this hotel is also very poor. On our fourth night, while having dinner, I slipped on a big puddle near our table - the entire floor was wet and extremely slippery. My older brother also slipped in the same spot. When we reported it to staff, they didn't care at all. Throughout our stay, we saw children slipping because the floors were not properly maintained or cleaned. It's clear that guest safety isn't a priority here. Having visited Hurghada two years in a row, l can confidently say this was the worst hotel experience we've had. The reception staff in particular were rude, dishonest, and unprofessional, and the overall service was awful. The only positives were the spa staff and the lifeguards at the slides they were kind, polite, and attentive. Unfortunately, their good attitude couldn't make up for how poorly the rest of the stay was handled. I would not recommend Jungle Aqua Park based on this experience. The hotel needs major improvement in customer service, honesty, and health & safety before I would ever consider returning or recommending it to anyone else.

We had a fantastic time at the Pickalbatros Jungle Hotel. It was our first time coming to Egypt, sure it was not our last. Very clean location, super friendly and helpful employees everywhere. A huge number of pools, slides, recreation spaces, different restaurants so that everyone of the family found himself something to do... Great for kids, lots of fun and also great for parents to enjoy a relaxed time (or slide as well)
Laura B — Google review
Ultimately the holiday left me feeling deep frustration regarding the hotel. While the accommodation, facilities, and restaurants were satisfactory, the behaviour of the reception staff was utterly unacceptable. We arrived at midnight after a long day of travel, only to be met with rudeness and complete unhelpfulness. We were informed that we had to pay an additional $1,300 because our 12-year-old son was now considered an adult and not a child as indicated on the booking. This is absurd and despite having sent our passports ahead of time indication his age, the reception staff insisted we either pay up or be denied our room keys, with no option for a refund on the money we had already paid the hotel, as I was exploring alternative accommodations. We were left with no choice but to comply. They wouldn’t even allow us to sleep for the night and sort it out in the morning! The next day, Love Holidays stepped in and managed to resolve the issue, but the reception staff only agreed to process our refund reluctantly. I had to go back to the reception multiple times (ant least twice an day) and speak with different staff members because the manager was unavailable to handle the situation. It was infuriating—I spent more time dealing with reception than enjoying my holiday with my family. To top it off, I left without receiving any refund, and Love Holidays finally took the matter over and reimburse us post holiday. This experience was beyond frustrating, and I am thoroughly fed up with the lack of professionalism and empathy (my son was balling his eyes out as he thought it was his problem) from the reception team. I expected much better for my holiday, and I certainly won’t be returning.

Great for families with children. The hotel complex is huge! The children have fun on the water slides (never seen so many waterslides in one Hotel...) and the parents can enjoy the waterslides or the brake, when the children are busy in the Aquapark. 😁 The food is very good and the staff is very friendly. We will, for sure, come again here...

Sculpture museum
Sand City Hurghada is a unique open-air museum showcasing an array of historical and imaginative sand sculptures created by international artists. It is the first museum of its kind in North Africa and the Middle East, featuring 42 statues carved from yellow and white sand. The sculptures, crafted by 42 sculptors from around the world, include iconic figures like pyramids, Anubis, Eye of Horus as well as unexpected characters such as Sponge Bob Squarepants and Pippi Longstocking.
It was exceptional! Sculptures are insanely gorgeous and there was labels tells some hisortic facts on the sculpture in different languages. The artist, Abanoub, also was there and told us about the techniques and all. He also invited us to the lights show at night (it was open until 12:00 am) and it was another great, different experience. Tickets were available on doors and you can pay either cash or visa. The place also had an Arabian tent that serves drinks. Highly recommend.

Very impressive place, statues made by compressing sand and art made to such detail. If you have opportunity don't miss this place. Recommending 10/10. One of the owners let us stay in a small beduin like "village" to watch fire show and have shisha and tea for resonable price of 200egp/pp.

Very nice exhibition. Filigree work, true to detail. There was a man with a camel at the entrance, he was very nice. Immediately put the child up, everything was great. Then he demanded 60€. We didn't want to pay, he became very unfriendly and said in Egypt everything costs something. We ended up giving him $30. For 10 minutes!! Absolute RIP-OFF.
Franzi H — Google review
Visited Sun City today and I am very impressed how nice and clean the area is and a lot of reviews were negative saying it takes 10 minutes to go through it but it’s lovely and there’s descriptions on every sand sculpture and it took us about an hour and a half, and we didn’t have children with us. They have a night dinner area with performers and they have a little ice cream coffee place and a nice quiet place to rest. I will definitely come back with some children and other visitors to Hurghada
Barbara C — Google review
Nothing to do here, 5 minutes is enough. Came here with little kids to show them the pyramids 😂
Anastasia ( — Google review
What a waste of a trip, no prices on their site; then expected to be charged at the gate. I told them for an half an hour trip it isn’t worth the $10 €15. I said dont be mugging me off! Website has no price on their site and I told them if there isn’t a price then it’s free. End of day for a 20 minute walk around for $10 rather spend it on a steak with peppercorn sauce

Hurghada Grand Aquarium is a must-visit attraction in Hurghada, Egypt. It offers an immersive experience with its marine and freshwater exhibits, including an underwater tunnel, Bedouin life display, zoo, and restaurant. The aquarium is renowned for being a top family-friendly destination in Hurghada, providing a calming stroll amidst captivating marine life.
A very beautiful place with a very beautiful variety of fish. You feel that the fish are performing an artistic role and they are the actors. Also, the show of the divers with the sharks and fish while feeding them is very beautiful. Honestly, an experience worthy of amazement.
Mohamed S — Google review
I booked this trip through a tour operator, but you can also take a taxi yourself. I think it's much cheaper that way. It was a very expensive trip and not worth the price. You'll be done in no time. It's beautiful to see, though. Bring cash; you can buy food for 1 euro at the beginning. For the fish, monkeys, and turtles. Great fun for the kids. There's also a camel to ride outside for 5 euros. Of course, there's plenty of opportunity to take photos everywhere. At the end, it's 10 euros per photo. Stuffed animals are available for sale outside for around 7 euros.
Eline — Google review
Excellent experience as it showcases a lot of beautiful wildlife. Ample parking outside, and is wheelchair accessible, recommended for all ages. Ticket is pricey for what it is but you can spend all day there and even hand feed some of the fish and other animals
Wayne C — Google review
My partner and I came here during our trip to Hurghada. We paid £48.60 for both tickets via 'get your guide' which was cheaper than our Hotel Representative. This included collection and drop off. We had a great time- the outdoor zoo was a bit small with limited things to see but we enjoyed meeting the giant tortoises 🐢 monkeys and of course all the stray kittens which were running around! They were super cute.. there was also a camal available for rides... he was wearing a pair of huge sunglasses which I wasn't so sure about 🤔 The aquarium itself was nice. The divers would encourage the sting rays/ sharks over to the window so you could grab a photo. Theres also a little shop (really little..) inside the Aquarium which sells snacks and weird gifts but it was expensive. I think I paid €6 for a tub of pringles 😅 but overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would recommend 👌🏻 Also, as youre leaving the Aquarium you walk into a much larger shop which sells tones of different gifts. We bought most our items from here and were super impressed with the variety and prices.
Sophia S — Google review
We expected a lot better quality of the whole aquarium. The first part is probably the worst, we saw a dead floating koi fish in the water, 2 probably dead lizards (they looked squished, one had ants crawling on his head) and the whole rainforest theme was fake and plastic. The second part was outside where there wasn’t enough space at all for the amount of animals. The owls have almost nothing in their enclosure. Three water turtles had probably 3 m2 of space. The fish had small enclosures too, but i think it’s not that bad. The big aquarium was ok. One white shark was on the ground and shaking (?) the whole time. We didn’t get to see the feeding. It looks like it was popular and used to look nice, but now it looks old and unkept. It looks good in photos, but it definitely needs renovation and better care for the animals!
Eliška V — Google review
My partner and I visited here today which we booked with our Holiday Rep. We'll start with the good things first. There are plenty of animals to see not all marine life. You can get very close to alot of the animals, and even feed a few straight from your hand. There it a tortoise section where you are in the enclosure with them and can even hold them. There are a few underwater tunnels and even have a live display where divers will feed aquatic life and you can see them all up very close. The bad bits. Firstly some areas have a very strong smell but you'd expect some smell as they are animals. Take food and drink, they have a cafe and shop but it's expensive. Some of the enclosures look a little run down and sad looking for the animals. In a whole it was a good way to use 2 hours of your day.
Steve W — Google review
Not just an aquarium but also a mini zoo. Different kind of animals to see. The marked path is well done and fun to follow. Allow a good two hours at slow pace. Went there in the afternoon (4pm)and we were basically alone.
Punz! — Google review
Some notes: - if you bring your own camera, you have to pay an extre fee of €25. - Photographers will take your pictures during the visit, and at the end, you'll be asked to pay €15 for each photo. About the mini zoo: - In my opinion, the animals don't have enough space (especially when compared to zoos in Germany or South America). - You can feed some of the animals, which can be nice for kids. About the aquarium: - there's not enough information about the fish you're seeing. - There is a "feeding show," but I found it unpleasant. Some fish animals seem bothered and stressed during the process.

Seafood restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Sakkara area, Star Fish Restaurant is a seafood lover's paradise that truly shines with its mouthwatering offerings. Guests can indulge in a delightful fish soup or select from an array of fresh fish, prepared right before their eyes. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu featuring grilled and deep-fried prawns alongside pasta, as well as an extravagant blowout special that includes lobster, shrimp, calamari, and more—all served with rice and salad for a complete dining experience.
Excellent sea food. The fish and shrimps were fresh and well cooked. We had a spicy shrimp soup that comes in a glass cup.. Amazing! the grilled fish was exceptional. Highly recommended. For a group of 10, it costed in total with appetizers and soft drinks, around $300

The seafood tastes normal, nothing special, fish is better other restaurants. The atmosphere is super cool and the staff are all nice people, you can choose the table next to aquarium.

This place is located near a cluster of rather underwhelming resorts. While some nearby resorts can be quite unfriendly, this restaurant truly stands out. The boneless seafood soup is highly recommended—absolutely delicious. The seafood here is incredibly fresh, and the mango juice is rich and flavorful. If you’re traveling independently, I strongly suggest stopping by for lunch at this restaurant after checking out of your hotel, before heading to your next destination. It’s well worth it!

It was really Bad experience!! The food taste good, BUT the service was so unfriendly from the beginning , they only want to know where we from. ( we was 2 European girls. ) I order drinks and directly they forget it and after 15 min. I ask again and then they bring it. Without sorry. I order 5 grilled shrimps and 10 BREADED shrimps First of all breaded is only grill here without nothing , and I tried to explain him what is the meaning of breaded and he acting that I'm stupid and was directly aggressiv. In the end they want for only 15 shrimp : 800 Egypt. Pound . = 14€ I was eating befor there many time and never pay this price. They acting that I'm rich European person and have the feeling that they make extra different price . In the end also they was not Frindly, even to ask if I wanna the rest for take away. I will NEVER COMW BACK U will found a better restaurant with the same taste and more of shrimps for cheepee price !

If you're on the hunt for an authentic Thai dining experience, look no further than White Elephant in Hurghada. This charming restaurant is celebrated not only for its affordability but also for serving up some of the finest Thai cuisine crafted by skilled chefs from Thailand. The menu boasts a delightful array of dishes that highlight the vibrant flavors and spices characteristic of Thai cooking, including tantalizing meat options, chicken specialties, and fresh seafood selections.
This is our favorite restaurant in Hurghada. The Thai food is truly authentic and incredible. The service is always friendly and nice. We have visited this restaurant multiple times over the past three years, and the quality has consistently remained high. So as always we’ll be coming back.

Great Thai & Indian restuarants in one building. We ate at the Indian side and were pleasantly surprised on how good it was. Most Indian restaurants in Egypt ( except in Cairo) use very little seasonings and dont seem to understand what spicy is, thankfully they do here. Super friendly and great service. Chef actually came out to make sure we were satisfied with our meal prep. Very reasonable pricing. Located right on the promenade only steps from the Stegenberger resorts.
