Echizen Onsen open-air bath Isaribi is a charming destination that perfectly captures the essence of relaxation without being overly extravagant. Nestled on the second floor, it offers breathtaking ocean views that make you feel as if you're perched on a hill overlooking the sea. The facilities are well-maintained, featuring clean showers stocked with shampoo and body soap, along with two main indoor baths—one equipped with a jacuzzi (though one jet may be out of service).
I'll never travel to Echizen-cho without this trip planner again
Amazing view of ocean from this #onsen. lt is located on the second floor but the feeling like viewing the ocean from the hill. lt offers both indoor and outdoor pool. I definetely recommend this #Onsen to try, great experience. The entrance fee was ¥520. You can bring your own towel or you can rent towel. Complimentary amenties, shampoo, body soap, no conditioner. There is hair dryer (but no combs).
It isn’t a lavish onsen but it does what it does right.
The price was on point. I was a little surprised that we had to pay for my son who isn’t in elementary school. Usually kids that age get free entry. It wasn’t an issue just a surprise.
The facilities were clean. The showers provided shampoo and body soap.
There are two main baths inside. One had a jacuzzi attached to it. One of the jets was not working when I went there. There is a cold bath near the sauna which is always a treat.
Outside there are two nice open-air baths facing the ocean. This is the reason to come to this place. It is one of the more beautiful scenes that I have enjoyed while having an onsen. I really loved this part of it and it made my day.
Literally, go here, if only to experience these outdoor baths with a spectacular view.
The onsen is part of a michinoeki so there were shops and places to eat nearby. We went too late in the day so everything was closed or closing.
After enjoying the onsen, you can chill out in a tatami room. I think they also had some rental rooms if you want to relax in peace. It was pretty quiet on the day that we went so there was no reason to rent one out.
Definitely check it out for the view.
Located at the Michi-no-eki, this onsen make you feel home. The outdoor onsen offer fantastic view, with pool shallow enough to lay down completely and relax. Very traditional onsen, without jacuzzi.

Echizen Onsen open-air bath Isaribi offers a stunning view of the ocean from its second-floor location, providing a feeling of viewing the ocean from a hill. The onsen features both indoor and outdoor pools with an entrance fee of ¥520. Visitors can bring their own towel or rent one, and complimentary amenities like shampoo and body soap are provided. While there is no conditioner available, guests have access to a hair dryer but no combs. The facilities are clean, offering two main baths inside including one with a jacuzzi (although some jets may not be working) and a cold bath near the sauna. However, the highlight is the two beautiful open-air baths outside facing the ocean, making it one of the most picturesque scenes enjoyed during an onsen visit.

Awesome onsen with a great view of this ocean. Highly recommend stopping by if it's on your way. They are famous for their crabs in this area so you can also check out the shops and restaurants right in the same building.
Large facility with options for food as well. The baths are older, but very relaxing. The open air outdoor bath is the best. The view of the ocean is very relaxing. Worth the drive.
