PizzaBurg Bashundhara

I noticed something unique. They have these really sweet employees who always ask if the service is ok or if the food is ok. Like not waiters, real people most probably students. Three girls were constantly checking up on me and when I mistakenly bit a chilli they rushed to get water as fast as possible. I have never seen such incredible customer service in any fast food chain in Dhaka before. The pizzas were great too not the best, but the customer service truly melted me

This outlet of PizzaBurg is located at Bashundhara Gate. PizzaBurg is popular for pizzas. It was very crowded when we visited. We tried their Deep Sea Fantasy Pizza, American Fry and Pepsi. The Deep Sea Fantasy comes with smashed tuna and shrimp on top. The taste was a bit unique compared to the usual meat-based pizzas. The American Fry is basically French fries. I would say the food was really great. However, their service needs improvement. One washroom is not sufficient for the number of people the restaurant accommodates. Additionally, ordering food took longer than usual. They should hire more staff in the order-taking section to improve efficiency. Overall, I would say it's a good hangout spot for groups.

Never expected this good. I did order PizzaBurg pizzas before from Foodpanda. None of them tasted that good. So I didn't expect much. But dine in was a total different experience. The stuff were so great and friendly. They welcomed so cordially. The food was delicious.

Recently, I visited the Bashundhara branch of Pizzaburg with my wife and kids. Our overall experience was somewhat mixed. My daughter tried the Juicy Burger, and she liked it. The burger was fresh and served pretty fast. On the other hand, we ordered the BBQ Meat Machine pizza. The pizza tasted quite average, and it wasn't served as hot as we usually expect from other pizza places where you get that steaming, fresh-out-of-the-oven feeling. Also, the pizza took almost 30 minutes to arrive, though I was told it would take around 15-20 minutes. When it comes to the interior, I must say the place is beautifully decorated and they have put a lot of effort into the ambiance. However, I was disappointed with the washroom, which was very tiny and not well maintained. I think they should have focused equally on basic hygiene facilities, especially considering it's a family place. The staff behavior was very good, they were polite and helpful, but the overall service was a bit slow. My kids had an okay experience, mainly because it was too crowded, and the chairs were not kids-friendly, though somehow manageable. We also took a parcel later, and again, the delivery time was longer than promised. My wife joked, saying, "The pizza looked impressive like Mir Saheb's speeches, but the taste didn't quite match the show!" 😂. Overall, it was an average food experience with a good-looking ambiance, but they seriously need to improve their service timing and especially the cleanliness and size of the washroom. For families and kids, these things matter a lot and need some attention.

We had a great time. The service was great and the food was great. They said they hope to open a location in America, and based on my experience tonight, I hope that is true. The everything pizza is the best. We quickly befriended Zara, Atong, and Disha. Five star experience, and a great way to close out my trip to Bangladesh!
