I'd give Turner Falls in Oklahoma 3 stars. While it's a beautiful spot with a stunning 77-foot waterfall, I felt it was overpriced, especially considering the crowds and maintenance issues. The park's natural beauty is undeniable, with crystal-clear water, lush greenery, and unique rock formations . However, the sheer number of visitors makes it feel more like a theme park than a serene natural oasis. I visited during peak season, and the crowds were overwhelming. In terms of maintenance, I noticed that some areas of the park could use some TLC. The castle, Collings Castle. That being said, there are some redeeming qualities. The park offers various outdoor activities, such as hiking, swimming, and fishing, which are perfect for families and adventure-seekers. The scenic hiking trails, including the Fire Break Trail, Honey Creek Trail, and Two Mile Trail, provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. If you're planning to visit, consider going during the off-season or weekdays to avoid the crowds. Be prepared for the prices, which is about $20 per person, plus extra fees and taxes.. depending on the time of year and your age. Overall, while Turner Falls has its flaws, it's still a unique and beautiful destination worth visiting – just be aware of what to expect.

My family rented a bunkhouse and it was nice the beds are a little harder than expected but it was new mattress and was not worn in yet. The bath house was nice and the privacy was amazing. A little more clean up on the trails is needed due to disrespectful people not following the rules of no glass bottles. But I completely understand they are off season and limited staff. We did see three amazing young adults doing there best to keep the park clean. All the staff was completely amazing and the young lady in the trading room was very sweet and helpful

Stayed 1 night in a new covered wagon. Approx $235 after taxes, fees and $6 half price entry. Online booking does not extend senior discount. Looking forward to peace and quiet in nature with some hiking. Unfortunately, there were a group of off road 4 wheel vehicles that drove around till 1am despite park rules for quiet hours after 10p. Next day, went exploring. “Hiking trails” not clearly marked. Also ran into several off road vehicles exiting 2 mile trail while parking to hike. Decided against for safety reasons. Disappointed only park staff accessible was at the entry gate. Accommodations and facilities were nice. Old trash visible on some overlooks and Creekside areas.

We stayed for 2 nights in our travel trailer October 7-9. Very few people at the park. It was very clean! The RV area with hookups was in excellent shape and easy to get into/out of. It is first come first serve and they do not assign RV spots. If you want to go and have the place to yourself-go on a Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in October! Beautiful area!

Turner Falls is one of Oklahoma’s greatest natural treasures — a place of incredible history, unique geology, and breathtaking beauty in the Arbuckle Mountains. But right now, it’s being torn apart. The park’s management continues to neglect what truly matters — the roads, the historic stone buildings, the bathrooms, and the wildlife — while pouring money into unsafe, cheaply made “new attractions.” The tepees they keep promoting have been put up and taken down repeatedly by untrained teenage lifeguards instead of qualified builders, leaving guests with unsafe, unstable rentals without proper rain guards or structural support that often need refunds. It’s not only irresponsible — it’s dangerous. It’s also deeply culturally insensitive to local Indigenous tribes, and yet the park profits off these inaccurate, disrespectful displays while ignoring the real history of this land. Meanwhile, admission, parking, and camping fees keep climbing, but almost none of that money goes back into maintaining or preserving the park itself. The city continues to let this place decay while treating it like a cash grab, not the natural landmark it is. Turner Falls deserves protection and respect. It’s part of Oklahoma’s identity and one of our state’s most remarkable pieces of natural beauty — something all Oklahomans should be fighting to preserve, not watching get stripped away piece by piece. If you love this park or this state, speak up. Ask where the money is going. Demand better. Turner Falls should be cared for, not sold out. This is our home!

Do not come here if you're looking for a pleasant primitive camping and/or hiking experience!! The campsites and most of the facilities are very poorly maintained, most campsites have trash in the firepits and are lacking amenities such as tables and grills. The very few trails there are not worth the cost of admission to the park. Overall absurdly overpriced. Also, several of the people already at the park when we arrived were playing loud music from their vehicles with no regard to those around them. We decided not to stay the night (even though we paid $180 for everything) and instead drove an extra two hours to Wichita Mountains Wildlife Preserve, which was absolutely worthwhile.

I would agree with the mixed reviews...$15 to visit (solo) on a Sunday morning in October. Basically you can park to view the waterfall and the castles. Worth $15, no. I definitely would not visit to view waterfall if during swimming months unless that is what you are doing. Not a serene nature spot. Unsightly blue trash cans everywhere. Parking lot maitenence not the greatest. Visit the free, but distant, overlook off the highway for the best view.

This is a fantastic drive thru animal experience. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding all the animals which even includes a giraffe and zebras. They also have a white tiger though you obviously can't feed it. We had four adults in our group and bought the largest food package but we definitely wished we had bought two. It was a wonderful experience!

I was expecting more. The roads are rough and 90% of the animals are llamas and miniture donkeys. 1 white tiger away from the road in a cage. 1 giraffe away from the street in a cage. 2 white wolfs away from the street in a cage. 2 little kangaroos away from the street in a cage. And a few other animals. Drove 3 hours to come here but we not impressed.

During a short getaway to Oklahoma, we decided to stop by a drive-thru wilderness park for a little adventure. There was a bit of a wait to get in, but the excitement built as we watched all kinds of cars and trucks heading through. The road inside was a bit rough with a few potholes, but the experience made it worth it. I brought along my 5-year-old travel buddy, who, at first, seemed curious but quickly changed her mind once we started feeding the animals. There were dozens of them—some gentle, others a bit too eager, all just after the feed cups we were given. Once she got a whiff of the animals and saw the drool dripping from their mouths, she was officially done and rolled her window up for the rest of the ride. I, on the other hand, had a blast feeding the donkeys, who were by far the most persistent—chasing the car for snacks! We also saw majestic arctic wolves and a beautiful white tiger cooling off in the water. Bison and zebras roamed freely, making it a wild, memorable experience despite my daughter’s less-than-impressed attitude.

After reading reviews, we weren't entirely sure how this attraction would turn out. Here are our thoughts after going through it with our kids. Lots of animals in number and variety, though llamas, deer, and donkeys seem to be the most in number. The llamas and donkeys definitely understand that food comes out of vehicle windows and aggressively seek to be fed, haha. Some of the animals are in cages/pens (i.e. the tiger, wolves, hyena, camel, rhino, some goats), but most are free-ranging. You'll find the aforementioned critters, plus others like bison, water buffalo, ostriches, goats/sheep, cattle, some antelope, and geese. It's worth the $6 to get 3 cups of feed. I failed to check the distance of the drive in the park, but it felt like at least 3-4 miles, so ration your food out. The more uncommon animals were on the back part of the drive. The road condition ranges from fair to very rough. There are many areas with large potholes and sections where the pavement has washed away - dodging these bad patches can feel like doing a slalom. We took our minivan and did scrape once or twice despite my best efforts. Some of the animals looked to be in poor condition. The park has clearly seen better days as evidenced by the general state of disrepair and the several side-attractions that are not in current use... but it did look like there may be some ongoing attempt to restore some of them. It was neat, but a little pricey. Been there, done that, not sure that I would go back unless it had some major overhaul.

Very nice gift shop and friendly staff. The animals and roads were a lot less desirable. We actually felt sorry for the big kat, wolves and Rhino. We also noticed an animal limping and after looking close, his nail was overgrown and hurting him. Don't get me wrong, I was glad to see them and help feed them, but I think they need to plant more food and fix the roads.

I love the experience of getting to interact with the animals! They seem well cared for for the most part, but the more exotic animals seemed restless and could use company, as they were kept alone in their enclosure. Specifically the giraffe and white tiger. The gift shop and roads seemed in disrepair and could use some attention. Its is a local attraction and a must see if youre looking for a day trip or want some playful harassment from friendly animals.

It is fun but it's a long slow drive. Much longer than we expected. I would really really like if they had some kind of signs as you're driving to tell you how much further you had to go. That way you could ration your food out. Towards the end we had some donkeys running alongside our car and I felt bad that we were out of food. Also wouldn't mind a "shortcut" to exit in case you have a child who gets fussy or has a dirty diaper or just in case you're ready to go. Would like to see the go carts back in action. Be aware there are multiple inclines and declines along the trail as well as some deep potholes. Definitely would not bring a fairly new car here. We learned that the hard way. 🤦🏽‍♀️

This place is deadly for diets. Yep, you’re going to tell me it’s all about self control, BUT have you ever been to this place?! I drive by here every few weeks on the way to call on my Oklahoma accounts and find myself stopping here either going to/leaving OKC. Lots of solid products to choose from at reasonable prices. Best of all is the option where you can pick 25 pieces of various chocolates for a flat price of $10.99.

This place is awesome! Friendly staff. They greet you as soon as you open the door with a treat! I need to go back when they have their tour. It was closed for updating this past Aug 2025. Their chocolates are a must in any candy dish.

What a great find at rest stop. Free samples as you walk in. An amazing selection of gift baskets and assortments. We bought some to eat right away and some to take home. You can also order on line and they will ship.

My wife LOVES the chocolate here. We were just passing by so we stopped to grab some things real quick. When we got to the door, they were closing up but let us in anyway. We were fast in and out as a courtesy, but they didn't have to let us in at all so that was really nice. Honestly the chocolate is really good and there are a lot of options and varieties of things, many of which the normal person would not think existed.

We recently visited bedré and got us some assorted treats. The potato chip dipped chocolate from this gourmet chocolate company was very deliciou, and were blown away by the unique and delicious flavor combination. The chocolate was rich and creamy, and the crunch of the potato chips added an unexpected and delightful texture. In addition to the potato chip chocolate, we also sampled a variety of other chocolates from this company and was impressed by the wide selection they offered. From traditional flavors like milk chocolate and dark chocolate to more creative options like caramel sea salt, there was something for every chocolate lover. The presentation of the chocolates was also top-notch, with each piece beautifully packaged and perfect for gifting. I’ve been coming to winstar casino for years and they have always had this chocolate brand and I’ve always loved every type I’ve tried. I buy, at least one bag of them Everytime im here & this time I tried the peppermint bark. Omg. I can’t say enough about how good this chocolate is!!! I would drive up here just to buy this chocolate !!

What a joke for a casino. Stopped on a whim to play some slots put 100.00 in 1st machine and it locked up! Hit all the service buttons around me, after 30 minutes I finally walked to the check in counter asking for help. The old machine attendant finally showed up at a snails pace, had to reboot the machine and another 39 minutes later... there yo go sir. Cash out ticket, go to another machine and loose my ass. Put in another 100 got frustrated and screw it.. cash out! Nope... machine locked up saying it needs to be a manual payout. OMG.. same story... Another 49 minutes later I must give my license and establish some account to get my 108.00 back. They blew up my photo ID .. saying they must keep it due to the manual payout. It took 2 supervisors and not even a mention of sorry for the hassle or 1.5 hr of frustration. I said., id understand if I hit a 10k jackpot... but this is ridiculous. Meanwhile... 5 other folks are going through the same routine.... just plain stupid. I'll never return. Can't say I didn't warn you.

What an awesome place to hold a conference! Ian England and his staff did an amazing job for us. We held a cribbage tournament in their conference room and it was beyond amazing. Big and comfortable for our group. Everyone has very impressed. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. Great rate as well. Rooms are nice and comfortable as well. The TV's in the rooms are awesome. We will be holding more card tournaments there in the future. Hopefully more than once a year. Kudos to Ian and his whole staff! We just need the IHOP to open at 7am LOL.

Great place, the hotel was wonderful it had great rooms and service. Ihop is a little overpriced but the food was great. The casino is alright I had no issues with it. The bar on the other hand is the least enjoyable experience. The bartender seemed very nice to everyone us but was rude towards us, we were also the only poc there so I’m not sure what her deal was but it happened multiple nights we stayed there.

Never stayed here, just gambled. Easy on and off of the highway. Has a few tables and several slot games. I've had success on both. Cool little stop if way need a break from the road. Be sure to follow me for more than 14k Google reviews and contributions.

We booked online a 2 night stay and when we arrived they said they only had the room for one night and the nightly rate increased! We did our business in 1 day and left. The room was comfortable but the bathroom is tiny, literally no countertop space at all.

For the most part, we are pleased with our experience. The rooms were clean and the showers were nice but be wary traveling here with littler kids because there aren't tubs. (this was an oversight on our part) the beds were super soft with nice pillows and the rooms were nice and cold in this hot summer weather. Vending machines were all down but there is a gas station across the parking lot where we could get snacks and drinks. Also be wary of the pool and swim at your own risk, obviously. While the pool and jacuzzi were nice, they bleached our swimsuits and we've NEVER had a pool do that before. Multiple swimsuits ruined so wear cheap suits you don't mind tossing afterwards. However they treated their water also left one of my family members with pretty significant skin irritation so SUPER well after getting out and be mindful of time spent in the pool.

Absolutely loved this place. It's very quiet and just off the highway. My husband and I spent our 20th anniversary here. Will definitely be back.

Worth the ticket price. When the zipline reached the top, I was honestly kinda scared because the seat swayed in the wind. I did get a great view of the Turner Falls waterfall. I went on a Monday when the kids were in school, so there was no wait.

best view in Oklahoma! worth the drive, money and hike! been 5 times and definitely recommended to nature lovers. swimming, camping, mountaining. stop in Davis and get an arbuckle fried pie also!! the savory are handmade and fresh🥰🏞🥧

It is good. For 25.00 for 2 person if you are paying by cash otherwise it's 30 dollars. It's a little bit scary but it's totally fine because it's a very nice view. But it doesn't have good infrastructure around that area. I think they should build good 🚻 around that place.

This was me and my girlfriend’s first time at Turner Falls Zipline, and sadly, it was a huge letdown. The customer service was terrible—when we tried calling with questions, the voicemail was completely garbled, and no one ever got back to us. We were told that a video of our ride would be available online, which we were really excited about. But when we checked later—nothing. No video, no explanation. Just disappointment. It even says on their site that they "sometimes have issues," but that should definitely be made clear beforehand. If we’re not allowed to use our own phones on the zipline, the staff should at least offer an alternative way to record the experience. Overall, super frustrating and unprofessional. We won’t be coming back, and we wouldn’t recommend it. Just a heads up if you’re considering it—don't expect much. Also staff was very lack luster. Sad when the thing people come to are you for tue supposed experience and excitement. Do better and be better especially during the week when there is nothing going on.

Absolutely beautiful view! It's worth taking a break from the highway just to look around and stretch. There's a fence of locks as well as caves and telescopes for 50 cents! Very pretty spot. Update telescopes are free now and gorgeous as ever! The zipline is open

It's was soooo fun, Zipline is awesome. We booked our tickets early, but we came late, but they still accommodate us, staff/owner are very friendly, welcoming. And don't forget the view, it's extraordinary outstanding. I definitely recommend this place. I wish their camera on that ride was working, so that I can have a remembrance.

We took a group of six and had a blast. Three great guides went with us and they were very friendly and professional. We all went through a short training session on the "bunny slope" and the trainer emphasized the safety aspects and how and what to do although its really easy and nothing difficult about it,then a short ride in a open trailer up to the slopes and off we went! Great fun for the day. Cant wait to go back.

Amazing experience! Friendly and helpful staff, definitely worth the trip from Louisiana. Never got to participate in something like this before, but they made it very comfortable for both me and my girlfriend. We'll definitely make a trip back.

Highly recommend!! Great staff. Very safety conscious. Thorough instructions. Each zip line just a little different. Lots of stairs up to the launching platforms. The bridge was a nice change of pace. Worth every penny!

We enjoy the 2 hours Zipline (6/29/19). The crew is super nice and make you feel very comfortable. We Definitely recommend 100%. We are coming back soon and bring our kids to enjoy the experience. The money spend is worthy.

This place was amazing! Wonderful views, great staff, and sooooooo much fun! They first explain everything you need to know and let you do a tiny version of the real thing so, you feel very confident going into it. We loved it so much, wanted to do it again immediately!
