It's relaxing, quiet and beautiful. It's also really well kept. The squirrels have obviously been fed by humans as they immediately associate cars and people with food. Upon parking, several ran up to our vehicle, and we could see them at other vehicles. They also followed us and would stop in front of us waiting. They were adorable and harmless and very good at guilting us for not having food, haha. I just wanted to note that so someone isn't startled when getting out of their vehicle. The ducks are also very used to humans. They do not approach, but they do rest along the walking trail. There are several playgrounds throughout the park. There are also plenty of benches, and I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Shout out to my wife for making the arrangements online. We got in and began riding all the kid friendly rides we could fit. First we went on a boat ride and had to identify different characters along the way. We rode the skylift across the park which was relaxing. Once we got off the skylift we went to a BBQ stand to eat and unfortunately that was the only bad part about the park. The burgers weren’t real ground beef, they didn’t have any of their sides like, and the smoked sausage wasn’t very good either. They also ran out of drinks so we had to get kiddie cups of water. After the dissster that was lunch we allowed the girls to ride a bunch of rides that parents couldn’t ride with them on. We watched a water show with an evil sorcerer, a king who’s princess daughter needed to be saved by the prince that was turned into a frog by the sorcerer because he wanted to marry the princess himself. We were able to finish off the park with a couple of family rides and rollercoasters as well as taking the girls to the gift shop and grabbing some souvenirs. If we ever go again we’ll stick to your traditional amusement park food like chicken tenders, pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, etc, but all in all it was a great experience and most importantly the girls had lots of fun!

That included a boy who was terrified to jump and paced the dive for nearly 10min holding on for dear life. Not a single lifeguard whistled or said a thing to the terrified boy and his parents and they even allowed him to go past the rope after that whole incident. I also have video footage of this. What do you have to say about this incident that went on for 10min and was obvious to anyone there that day? Your staff is incompetent, unprofessional, and unreasonable. Additionally, at the intersection near the cabin, there was only a painted "yellow line" on the pavement, but no official stop sign, and very few drivers actually came to a stop. This place is a hidden gem. One of them, a large stone monolith, had a slightly parabolic surface such that if you stand at the right spot, the relaxing stream sounds are reflected and beamed back into your ears. Easy to social distance here since it seems like not many know about this place. Check out the toad-in-a-hole picture I've attached. At the base of the parabolic monolith, this guy was reigning supreme in this perfect little hole in the rock (King of the toads for sure!).

I would not recommend taking your older loved ones here. Hilly, gravel trails are what you walk on. We loved the enthusiasm and knowledge of the volunteers. My suggestion: bypass the moon nights and go when you can score a small group tour of the ENTIRE facility. There's such a rich, wonderful history to this place and we wanted to hear all of it. 5 stars for the wolves. 5 stars for the volunteers. 1 star for over selling tickets. Bottom line: go for a day time visit with a small group.
