I highly recommend seeing one of the Groff Series plays in the Tell Theatre on the 4th floor of the Fulton. The bourbon was better than Bulleit and while that is a controversial point of view for my bourbon loving kin, they use the same facility and it's smoother. Over the last 5 years of living in the city I’ve visited quite a bit. The food is awesome, but the drinks are weak. The total time for the dinner and the show is about 4 1/2 hours long. The buffet style meal was just mediocre but the dessert lineup was pretty good, including the irresistible Shoofly Pie and my favorite pecan pie. The shows got sold out early all the time so were pretty lucky got the seats right in the middle with perfect view (B5 table in the B Section). Shout out to my wife for making the arrangements online. We got in and began riding all the kid friendly rides we could fit. First we went on a boat ride and had to identify different characters along the way. We rode the skylift across the park which was relaxing. Once we got off the skylift we went to a BBQ stand to eat and unfortunately that was the only bad part about the park. The burgers weren’t real ground beef, they didn’t have any of their sides like, and the smoked sausage wasn’t very good either. They also ran out of drinks so we had to get kiddie cups of water. After the dissster that was lunch we allowed the girls to ride a bunch of rides that parents couldn’t ride with them on. We watched a water show with an evil sorcerer, a king who’s princess daughter needed to be saved by the prince that was turned into a frog by the sorcerer because he wanted to marry the princess himself. We were able to finish off the park with a couple of family rides and rollercoasters as well as taking the girls to the gift shop and grabbing some souvenirs. If we ever go again we’ll stick to your traditional amusement park food like chicken tenders, pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, etc, but all in all it was a great experience and most importantly the girls had lots of fun!

Also was told to call at 10am the next day to get our downpayment back, then was told I’d get a call two days later from someone. I haven’t heard anything back yet. The waiter did feel bad and was trying to see if we could at least see the area but the damage was already done. If we hadn't already ordered food, we would of got up and left. Nice, what I am assuming kitchen staff waitress brought out the food but no utensils. Waiter immediately remembered and brought us some. They were dirty. They were wrapped and had hard water marks all over them. My steak was colder than my mashed potatoes and the potatoes were better than the steak. The other couple that was eating both had to use the restrooms and had to squeeze behind my wife to get to them. Imagine only two couples to serve and you put one of them next to the bathroom. Unreal. I decided to use the restroom before leaving and was greeted to a urinal with a storage tote underneath to catch the leaking water and piss! It was leaking while relieving myself, into the bucket before I even flushed. Top it all off, as we were leaving and went by the hostess desk. Three people standing there doing absolutely nothing, including the woman who said she tried to call and not so much as a thank you or sorry again. Not a peep as we left. To think this is how people who give their money to a business are treated for their error. When we finally got home I checked my voicemail to see if and when they called. It was time stamped a little after 12pm. AN HOUR BEFORE THE RESERVATION! People might be coming a large distance away and they decide to call an hour before. It starts off being loud, but gets even louder as there is a DJ who plays music towards the back as well. (Entirely different music than on the main speakers and you can hear both at once) The speakers all around sound blown out and it’s just way too loud in general. The adults had a good laugh at how horrible that was but when it ended we were ready to go. Now back to the party itself. There were a few times we ran out of drink and food we brought wasn’t brought up including a fruit tray that wasn’t brought up at all until it was over (even though we asked for refills/the fruit tray). I had no access to the food we put away so I couldn’t grab it myself. They provided zero forks. They did give small plates. A handful of napkins. Overall the kids enjoyed it so no worries but the behind the scenes could use improvement. I would never book a sky zone party again.

I ended up waiting 49 min to be serviced at the bar only to have the clearly over stressed, maybe new? bartenders try to service me and forgot my and my friends drink in the 4 we requested. After the third time of asking for a drink, my bartender demanded money, and rushed me saying “come on guys I have a full bar to serve” and proceeded to say “I have people waiting”. Clearly this individual was stressed but the commentary and completely ignorant facial expressions that followed genuinely left a bad taste in my mouth. After I ended up frantically handing this bartender a $20 for our drinks they proceeded to slam my change on the counter, practically throwing it and rolled their eyes. Personally having 10 years of bartending experience, in the restaurant industry, and 8 in managing, I think this establishment should really consider the people they staff their bar with. Unfortunately I do not know if returning is in my future and I’d steer clear of a Friday night if you’re looking to have a good time.

This last weekend, my fiancé and I decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Saturday with dinner and a comedy show. The location is much nicer and bigger, I will say that. However, everything else was subpar. We got there early to get drinks and good seats. The server came around to the table next to us first and then our table taking down drink orders from both tables EXCEPT for us (we were in the back of the table but she got everyone else). At that point, I got up to wait 10-15 min in line for our drinks at the bar while my fiancé stayed at the table to see if she would come back to ask for our order. She did not end up asking us if we would like anything until we’ll after the show started. The opening comedian was ehh but we sat through it because he was just the opener, the next guy Raj Belani was the best part of the night actually and in our opinion should have been the main act! The main show, starring Jeff Shaw was absolutely horrible. Not funny whatsoever and we were shocked as we felt this is not what represents Stitches. We stayed about halfway through his act to see if it got any better, it got worse to the point we had to leave. On our way out, we kindly told Raj he did a great job. Overall, our experience was not good. Like I said, we have been several other times at the old location, but this one was just bad. We contacted the club immediately when we got home expressing how unhappy we were as previous customers via email and have not heard back which is quite disappointing.
