I didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was quite busy, so I came back an hour later. Not ideal, but I really wanted to eat here, and I’m so glad I did. But it seems that I can always get either or. Nightmarket was unfortunately no exception. Let’s start with the environment. I made a reservation for the tunnel room. When I arrived I was offered a table outside by a pile of boxes. Upon requesting a different table, I was sat in proper tunnel room. That was great. I must say the restaurant ambience is nice, most table are good and it looks great, except for the table I was offered initially. Now the drinks. They have excellent drinks. I was very pleased. I just think they could have been faster. It took a long time to get drinks for a small place. The food presentation was great but I thought the flavor wasn’t there. I had a Tom Kha Gai soup and it was great. The pork skewers are fantastic. Then I had the Miang Kham and it was disappointing. It was a very dry dish. Well presented but very dry and not to my taste. Then we had the pad thai, the mango salad and the papaya salad. The mango salad was great but the fried crab that comes with it was over fried and tasteless. We could not eat it at all. The pad thai was not bad but it was missing something. It wasn’t the best but again, I was disappointed with the flavors. The papaya salad was tasteless and probably the worst I ever had. I love papaya salads and usually I ask it to be made mild so that I enjoy the flavors. Unfortunately, the flavors were not there. It was like it was missing something. Again the same pattern. Since the experience was not that great, we decided to skip desert. In conclusion, I believe they need to speed up the drinks and enhance the food flavors. Everything else was great. This place has the potential to be the best in town. Just not there yet.

Delighted we came here as most kitchens were closed at this time. The ambiance was modern and chic. Situated on the top floor overlooking part of the city on hotel grounds. Such a nice, distinctive way to spend one of the last nights in Dublin. Food was extremely good and service was attentive and friendly. Menu was varied enough for 3 different palates. I had the grilled sea bass which I really enjoyed, the seafood linguine was also very good. Did not disappoint!

We moved downstairs while we were waiting for a taxi, and Kingsley again being rude and aggressive told us we cannot wait there either. We explained our great uncle is 80 and we're not waiting out in the cold. He had a dismissive behaviour but let us wait inside. I asked him his name as I wanted to report him for his behaviour, and he wouldn't tell me, I had to go to the bar lady who did tell me his name. The waiter asked how everything was and we explained we were disappointed with the fries situation and that I haven't eaten any from my plate. He then said he would give me a box to take them away which was pointless as they were now cold. We wanted to leave immediately but were left waiting for ages for the bill we requested. The waiter we requested it from was just going around doing other things so he obviously forgot about us. We then had to go up to the bar ourselves to the bar to get our bill and pay. Arthur Mayne's Donnybrook has absolutely amazing food and fine drinks. They also have a selection of craft beers and you can order a testing palette to try few of those. Which I ordered indeed 😃 I had a dinner there (soup of the day, tuna, burger, confit duck leg and selection of cheese board) and everything was delicious. Staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. I would also like to mention that they have very calming and relaxing atmosphere with great not annoying music. I highly recommend this place and I definitely will be back soon.

Best Guinness in Ranelagh for certain and I've tried them all. Good local crowd which is a complete mix. Toasties are lovely as well. More of a rugby crowd at the weekend but not rowdy and in your face. The soccer is on but the sound is only turned up for big games. Horse racing and golf will be on also. Lovely fire in the winter as well. Music on a Monday night which is great. Guinness, Beamish and Murphys on draught. As of 28th March, a Guinness is €6.70
