The bar was pretty busy but we had a reservation so all was well. We ordered from the Brunch Menu and did the bottomless mimosas. I think it was a good way to go. They let you mix and match most of the mimosas from the menu. We decided to order 4 different dishes and split them among the table. The Chicken Nachos are an elevated version of a classic. The Ribs were super tender and flavorful, along with the sausage link and grilled chicken. The steak could have been a little more flavorful, but for the price and amount of food we received, we were super satisfied. Even with the whole restaurant being slammed, we still received our food and drinks in a very timely matter. The Mac n cheese & cheesy bacon fries were 2 amazing side dishes. The staff was immediately helpful and very very friendly which is always a thumbs up in my book. Our server recommended a craft beer for everyone at the table based on their preference and I can't remember which I had but I remember loving it! My party of three decided to order a bunch of menu items to share family style so we could all taste a little bit of everything. We started off with the bacon which was stunningly delicious. The bacon was perfectly glazed and came thick cut which we all enjoyed. The location is really cool, with the elevated tram-rail passing by above the street, right below a skyscraper. Exactly giving you that "downtown" feeling. Casually welcomed by an employee who invited us to be seated outside or inside, to our choice. The inside was clean, cosy and had a sort of urban look about it. Looked really cool. The menu had some good choices (come on guys, the 'el vato' really needs at least 2 spicy icons on the menu with that much jalapeno on it!) with some great classic dishes and some unique. I had the "El Vato" which had so much jalapeno on it, I won't be able to kiss my kids goodnight for 3 days without raising child-protection service suspicion. Joking aside, it was one hell of a good burger, and the cook had it done exactly the way I was asked how I wanted it. One slight setback, was the addition of cheese on the sweet potato fries, even though I specifically asked for the burger to be prepared without cheese. Should've rang a bell. But the burger was so good I decided it won't cost a star on the rating. It wasn't busy on a regular thursday, and we were asked if everything was good for us at just the right intervals, these guys know hospitality. They absolutely live up to their name serving towering burgers with amazing ingredients. The burgers were tender and filled with flavor. The Pan Seared Scallops, nestled on a silky potato fondant with Sauce Créole was a slight disappointment with 3 small scallops. The sauce was wonderful with good flavor. The saffron risotto was flavorful and vegetables were cooked crispy and worth a reorder.
