I was there for about 20 minutes doing a reckie for a potential photo shoot later in the year. So you do have a bit of a walk from the big car park. But the good part is, it's all downhill afterwards. I believe, but don't quote me, that a scene from Outlander may have shot here. So if you want to look for a quiet little kirk to tick your ruined churches list off, then make an effort. Culross has some lovely tea rooms and a pub that does food. I might review that at a later date. The walks are nice, the Abbey is amazing, and the views across the Forth are wonderful. And thank you to the two lovely ladies who put me back on track when my walking satnav had me going around in circles.
