We got there early morning when it was still cool and there was perhaps two other people besides us in the area. There are a few paths that take you around the lake. It's a great course in a beautiful setting, especially with autumn colours. The apple trees by the putting green were dropping ripe fruit and the pear tree branches were heavy with green skinned pears by the time I played. The generously sized course greens, like the putting green, had been aerated and sanded so I don't think I got the full impression of what they might be capable of, but I still enjoyed playing on them. The fairways, tee boxes and sandy bunkers were in good shape and the Niagara Escarpment setting with vultures and hawks wheeling overhead made for a picturesque and enjoyable round. There are benches and ball washers available, useful amenities for us older players as we walk the course. One thought about playing the course is that many ponds bring water into play right behind or beside the greens, so it might not be best to go too long with your approach and chip shots. The pace of play was excellent and the club house afterwards was well enjoyed by many golfers and the vibe seemed very convivial. I had a great time and hope that you do too!

A great course; well kept, beautiful decor and flowers around the tee box areas along with the benches and structure paths. It’s hard to find fault in this course. Some of the fescue was very, very high on the Cobalt course, like hole 12-15 could use a good shave/trim. The only two negative things I can say was 1, the pro shop attendant who was quick to tell us our round would be $127 with cart when in the online booking email said it would be $89 incl. cart. The 2nd negative thing is that there was a big company tournament today and they were playing loud music on the patio that you could hear all through the course, especially as you approach hole 17-18. Some of them even stood close to the 18th green where the ball would still be in play and presented themselves as indirect targets if an approaching shot was errant. It was clear that she loves what she does and making kids happy is her priority. Given that I have been to Wildhagen at least 5 other times without concern, I am chalking up my experience to a one off! I have previously been here with my twins and raved about it. I actually contemplated buying a season pass this year for my 5 year old twins. I'm glad that I didn't. We were there today and even though it was half price admission, I still paid $23 in the pouring rain (initially charged $28, regular price as the lady forgot it was Tuesday...promptly I was refunded). We were the first to arrive and while the play area was neat and organized, things have changed since last year and many of the toys have seen better days. The dress up costumes, for example, look very worn and many items are broken (e.g. strap of pretend purse). We couldn't find the puck to the air hockey table and the Fisher price house with the Pet Spa had a loose wall and it actually caused me to topple onto my bottom. Many of the pets themselves could use a clean and have seen better days. We couldn't find many of the accessories in the house with the Dora Kitchen. Many of the Mr. Potato heads have been coloured on and simply could use a thorough scrub. Also several bins holding them in place were falling off of the wall. Thankfully the plasma card are still there around the Mary's diner area. The scooters are no longer there and the colouring centre with crayons were MIA. I did see several broken crayons scattered around with Mr. Potato heads. Bathrooms were initially clean when we arrived. Staff was prompt when I advised him of an obvious child's accident. I was a little dismayed to see toys scattered outside the bathroom and left there (obviously by a child who didn't advise his/her parent). After I advised staff of the uncleanly bathroom, I saw him return the toys to their respective areas for further use. While the toys were not inside the bathrooms, they were too close for comfort for my liking. It was raining so we didn't enjoy the scavenger hunt. I think that the play area really needs to be better tended to. This 'pet spa' really has nothing for kids to actually do to clean and/or care for the animals. They are simply scattered inside a plastic play house. I don't think that it was worth the $23 as my kids could have done the same at home. While I thought of ordering a pizza (which we have had before and was the best around), the cost was off-putting. Sadly, I don't think that I will be back and no longer will I be recommending Wildhagen my kids' friends.

The park is nice but there is barely anything fun for kids to do other than look around. The playground area is poorly maintained, a lot of toys are broken and most of them are not on their places. Playtown in Mississauga is a similar playground, but much better maintained. Pizza is good but considering $25 price together with entrance admission it turned out to be over $50 for 2 hours we spent there.

All this was because we went on the ice with the lights only half on. This situation needed nothing more then for him to come out and calmly tell us that we were not supposed to go on the ice until all the lights were on. This makes sense but being only our second early morning practice we did not know this was a rule. Instead of the calm approach this “professional” felt the need to cuse me out in front of children really professional! I feel the town needs to look into acts like this and address them properly if I as a coach need to take certain courses maybe these arena staff members should be held to a higher level of training.
