I took my 12 year old grand daughter for her first horseback trail ride. The guide was great. She actually had to be stern with a couple of teenaged kids who were sort of ignoring her when she was doing the initial instructions. (and i am glad she did - they hadn't ridden before and seemed to think it would be like a riding a carousel horse and not a live animal). Our ride was a lot of fun. We also put my grandson on the horse for a pony ride. He loved it. All the horses I saw were quiet and calm. We can't wait to go back again.

They go pretty fast. You can have kid passengers for the little ones. Little pricey for a 4-minute ride. Bumper Boats are kind of fun. They have a squirt gun that kids love to use relentlessly.
