It's a free attraction. It's very educational a few of the informational plaques could use replacing but I mean it's a swamp area near the cost so I'm sure it has withstood a lot of weather before we visited. I few of the planks on the board walk could use replacing but over all its a very interesting and enchanting experience. Others have mentioned bugs however both time we went we didn't have any issue. The pterocarpus trees are magnificent, additionally the flora and fauna there are very active. Sometimes you need to stay still and quiet for the critters to start going about their business. If you're into conservation, interesting landscapes, plants, animals this is defintely a place I would reccomend you go to.

Don't come looking for extreme action. There no waterfall or anything like that, and I still loved it! It's like an extended nature walk. There's a wooden structure. When you go to the top there's binoculars which I'm assuming are for bird watching. There's a trail to walk. It says there's a app you can download to listen to the tour as you walk. I have an android and it didn't work. Hopefully it'll be fixed when you go or you have another phone. I still enjoyed it nonetheless. Along the way there are plaques that give info on the flora and fauna of the place. It was very nice. Check beforehand but being that the route is on a wooden wide path I assume it would be wheelchair accessible. After that we got out and instead of going to back the parking we walked around the grounds and went in a full circle which took about an hour. If you're a walker, I high recommend this. Because we saw turtles. Just beware of the golf carts. Lastly. Getting there.... you have to enter Palmas del mar. I was surprised, but you just give the guard your name and you can go. The forest closes at 6pm. Enjoy!

There was water in my kitchen area that most likely was left from the cleaning people. I had to reach out two times to get someone out. Javier was great 👍. The front desk was good. But the area not good at all. If you are planning to eat dinner make sure you do it before 7pm because everything around that area closes at 8pm that's crazy to me. Most people that go to vacation in PR don't eat at 7pm. Nothing around to pick and eat unless you want chain fast foods. It was a turn off for us. The room itself property was nice.

It's beyond me why they don't do anything about the litter or noise, which is a problem here, but the authorities are selective about the laws they enforce which often don't make much sense. The weekend crowd gets rowdy and people trash the place. Recently 3 sections of a floating plastic dock somehow ended in the shore break. If they aren't removed they will become the biggest peices of beach litter I have seen here. This could be a wonderful gem of a beach with the cooperation of the authorities and the everyday people who come here and value this natural treasure if certain attitudes prevail. Please take whatever you bring here back with you, along with what others have left. The dogs here are friendly and the puppies need homes. Anyone who's had one of these island sato dogs will tell you that they are hands down, the best creatures you will ever know.

The sargassum blooms tend to be worse on this side of the island, and this beach is no exception. The balneario was destroyed by Hurricane Maria and now the place has a somewhat apocalyptic feel to it. Additionally, this beach has a very different vibe on the weekends and sees its share of noisy, inconsiderate, and reckless behavior. The police don't enforce municipio ordinances so the problem just gets worse every year. The signs informing the public about the sea turtle nesting sites mention nothing about littering. Be careful walking around the area barefoot. People race dirt bikes and ATVs up and down the strand- often with little regard for their own or other people's safety. I've seen accidents- one involved a child. Also, there are stray and abandoned dogs roaming the area. Most of these are not a problem, but occasionally someone will dump an agressive dog here. I live in the area and feel it's my responsibility to inform others about the situation on this beach and others like it as I have seen a marked decline over the years. This is a really wonderful stretch of coastline with some really great people. Sadly, a handful of very selfish ill-mannered people trash this gem of a beach and the authorities do nothing about it. For that reason I would not recommend this beach to anyone until the municipio does something to improve it.

Keishya was awesome - super responsive, on time, organized, and had everything we could possibly need in terms of gear for the adventure (water shoes, dry bags, you name it!). We couldn't have asked for a better experience, this was one of the coolest, most unexpected finds. Quiero mencionar también que el arte de este particular polifacético ilustre son raras y valiosas. Tambien el centro cuenta con maquetas interesantisimas de la iglesia de Humacao y otros atractivos del pueblo.
