I was incredibly lucky. I was caught in a short downpour for about 3 or 4 minutes. It was incredible how everything just seemed to explode to life when the rain stopped. The birds were singing and drying their wings, the frogs were calling to each other even the leaves on the plants and trees seemed to be swelling and breathing. And the smell. Ohhhh. It was divine! Mini waterfalls appeared out of nowhere, only to disappear just as quickly as the thirsty ground absorbed the water. So many wonderful photo opportunities. And as I came back out into the clearing sky I saw the most incredible 🌈. My photos do not do it justice. It was so close and incredibly clear. Get away from the tv people. Cancel your Netflix subscription and get outdoors and see the magic that happens. What an amazing day.
