We arrived about an hour or so before closing and the kids had been in and out of the car all day as we took our time to arrive from Sydney so a sit down tasting flight wasn’t really an option for us but it did look like an awesome set up inside by the fire. We instead grabbed a few glasses of wine and enjoyed what was left of the winter sun in the garden so the kids could blow off some steam while we enjoyed our wine. It’s an awesome space with a mini football pitch to keep the kids entertained and active. Only thing missing was an outdoor fire as it did start to get really cold as that sun dipped behind the mountains. We grabbed a couple of bottles to takeaway for dinner which were bloody good. Well worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Although we booked, there seemed confusion as to where we would be seated - and while we were having our tasting they started setting up for an event in the evening, so loudly moving tables and chairs and generally making the experience quite unenjoyable for everyone still seated. Only plus was the young lady doing our tasting was really helpful, and had good knowledge and generally redeemed the experience somewhat. Overall I think there’s better vineyards and would probably avoid, despite the reputation.

The wine tasting was very good, just the right amount of information without anything pretentious and best of all we were left alone with the wine we were tasting at the moment so we could relax and discuss it privately. Their wines are superb and well worth the visit. The wine tasting notes had a very humorous touch which made them even more interesting to read. We also had the cheese platter which was very generous with a great selection: goats cheese, aged cheddar and a Brie, almonds, figs and a delicious relish. We had a great chat with the manager, Chewy, giving us the history of the original shearing shed converted into their tasting room as well the original old Cobb & Co stables beside the shed. It is definitely a great place to go even with young kids as there is a huge outdoor area with farm animals and a sandpit full of toy diggers.

When we arrived I met the owner Nick, and he kindly offered to show me around the some of the vineyard, so I jumped into the Polaris and off we went. His vineyard is in pristine condition and he gave me a little insight to the vines and when they were planted and pruning techniques he uses. It was really interesting. Then we were booked in for a wine tasting, we chose the Premium Tasting set and the wines were amazing. Great flavours, perfectly balanced and delicious. Our hosts were Tanya, Nicks wife & Simon, they took us through the journey of wines and had a wealth of knowledge, it was a great experience. The wines were so good we bought 6 mixed, although I wanted to buy the whole range, I’m saving them for my next visit out there. I highly recommend you visit Nashdale Lane Wines, you won’t be disappointed. I’m looking forward to going back again soon. The location is beautiful, and we were excited to enjoy some good wine and a relaxing afternoon. The Norfolk Still Cider and pear ones (sparkling perry and Poire) were our favourites along with the non alcoholic one we tried.

My husband has difficulty walking and all staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The room was perfect in every way - clean, comfortable and with thoughtful inclusions. We were warmly welcomed by the owner’s dog, faith, who enjoyed pats and cuddles from children and adults. I have to say Brangayne is one of my favourites. It's beautifully simple, unpretentious and a little bit rustic. Family owned and they greet all visitors like family. David and Lee are the most genuinely lovely people. A tasting at Dindima is never rushed. Lee is amazing at describing the wines and suggested food matching. She will have you drooling. David is fully of passion for the wines, with his cheeky smile. Sitting outside, under the trees, with a lovely cheese platter whipped up by Lee, is one of the best experiences in Orange. When opening the front door first thing you see is filthy mud stained carpet. Then when inside the Venetian blinds and windows were filthy , laden with thick dust . The lounge should be tossed it was so uncomfortable we couldn’t sit on it . It was also very stained. What they call the kitchen is disgraceful and material covering cupboards was also stained . The bathrooms are old and just usable. We ran out of drinking water on our last night!! I would not recommend anyone to stay here . It is really not fit for humans . The price is over the top for what you get. I would give it 0 stars. There was no complimentary bottle of wine!!
