Mixwell Bar is one of the most happening open-minded bars in Bali, if you know what I mean, and probably draws the biggest crowd. I visited on a low-season Saturday night and it was super packed—to the point that getting a second drink was impossible and moving around was just as difficult. They have drag shows spread throughout the night and also gogo boy dancers to entertain the crowd. A good place to meet locals and foreigners.

Alcohol prices are not too steep, so it’s fine to have a table with multiple bottles.

Unfortunately 2 things I don't like Smoking is allowed and it sucks, really....and the music is too loud, I went with friends we couldn't hear each other speak. Shows are fun, some boys are cute, music is mainly pop and dance. I always order beer so I don't have to be afraid of the apparently fake drinks with methanol and such stuff. Pickpockets? Maybe...I recommend to leave phone and creditcards in the hotel safe and just take necessary cash and you'll be ok. Have fun and let's keep on supporting our few LGBT spaces left in Bali.

Waited 40min for their 10pm drag show and we left by 10.20pm cause it still hadn’t started. They clearly intentionally do this to bridge the gap and retain people for their 11pm show. Which is annoying…. Just be honest about your actual show start times. The cigarette smoke is also gross - keep up with the times and ban smoking indoors!

My god, what a blast we had! The DJ was popping (great retro+modern EDM), the spectacular drag stars were dragging, the dancers were go-go-ing. Service was friendly. All in all a winning combo.

It was a last minute decision to visit this bar. But so glad we did. The atmosphere was epic. Excellent DJ. Amazing drag shows.
Drinks were priced OK. It got very busy after 10pm and you can easily lose your seat if you wander off for a dance. Made some great new friends and had a memorable time.

The place is small and smoker sensitive individual please beware. All the gay bars allowed indoor smoking so proceed with caution. The drink prices were sure high. It was surely nice to see live performances at this place but there were simply too many people to not have someone push or shove you every 20-30 mins. I find Mixwell better for spacing. Lastly, our time there was surely a mixed bag as there was a rude server lady who would push and shove rather than say excuse me. This definitely soured our experience there.

We started out next door but it was so crowded so we came here instead . The music was great, chill and we were having a great time. I then ordered an Absolut and soda water (this was the second drink from the same bartender). I watched him pour me well vodka so I politely told him that I wanted Absolut and he claimed he had in fact poured it. I told him I watched him pour me well vodka and he told me he simply had placed the bottle cap on top of the well vodka bottle. .I then paid for my drink and left since I couldn’t trust what I had been poured. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF! You cant trust that you’re getting what you pay for or simply order only beer. For context- I did not watch the bartender pour me my first drink.

My first oversea LGBTQ+ bar experience, everyone there from the staff to customers were so friendly and everyone was just having a good time, we got a few cocktails through the night and every single one of them tasted way better than the one we had in Singapore. My friend and I visited Bali Joe on our recent holiday to Bali. We enjoyed every minute and this venue is one of the best gay clubs we have been to. Everyone was so welcoming and the performances from the queens were next level. The hospitality from the staff was incredible and the DJ was amazing as well. 一進來就覺得氣勢非凡，拱型的建築非常有特色，時尚的音樂、時髦的環境，讓水明漾區近年來已經成為時尚、新潮的代名詞，具有設計感及新潮的飯店酒吧都選擇開在水明漾，包括知名的W Hotel還有Kudet，要進入Potato head，必須先經過一個狹長的車道，車子要進到Potato head的門口，需要停車並讓安檢人員用儀器檢查，Potato head的入口，進去發現別有洞天，有一個很大的圓柱型建築物，上面堆滿被漆上色彩的夾腳拖，是一個名作設計，Potato head裡面分了三層樓，第一層是最下面的沙發區和游泳池區（泳池內還有吧台），第二層是吊床區與一般座位區，第三層是普通的座位區，賣有披薩，很多喜歡從上而下俯視的客人，會特地爬到三樓看夕陽。我覺得在水明漾區的「三樓」，真的已經是很高的樓層了，這裏的景色真是太美了，尤其是深夜喝酒的時候!!!這音樂讓我覺得我好像在電影里一樣。酒水還不錯。它有一個泳池上的酒吧和一個無限大的遊泳池，可以俯瞰大海。
整個俱樂部的設計都很獨特。相對比其他的沙灘俱樂部，這裏更加有生機，聲音更大。不過，卻有一種可以放鬆的氛圍。尤其是躺在吊床上享受着雞尾酒，感覺非常贊，這裏的烤雞肉以及燒土豆，蔬菜湯和肉汁都很不錯。這裏也有雞尾酒可以選擇。最低消費是100萬印尼盾，建議去之前，最好是可以提前預定位置。我們沒有提前預約，所以要等別人離開后才有位置。

This place is amazing! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is incredible, and the sunsets are breathtaking.
It’s so peaceful to sit around and listen to the music and the waves on the beach. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, but sometimes they’re not as attentive if you’re sitting in a tucked-away spot.
The food is delicious. I had the double cheese smash burger for lunch, which was really tasty, and a side of hand-cut fries. My partner and I each had a woodfired pizza, chorizo and beef, which was very filling, especially since we hadn’t eaten lunch that day. For our final dinner, we had some sides, including tripled-cooked rustic potatoes, salt and pepper chilli chicken, and duck egg rolls, which were also delicious.
This is a wonderful place to go if you’re staying in Seminyak. It’ll definitely be a fond memory that I’ll always want to return to.

My first time visiting this Spa at to check in the reviews it was quite mixed however the gentleman that I had was absolutely amazing very kind and very very attentive. I explained to him about the pains I had in my back and also in my legs I told him he could use extra strength because I’m 6 foot six and incredibly muscular so my shoulders are always in a lot of pain. Unfortunately my experience here was terrible. I went for a massage and the guy who massaged me did not do a good job. In fact, I was nearly injured because of improper massage technique as the therapist had no idea what he was doing and was massaging against my spine! I literally had to stop the massage and told the therapist to get on the bed so I can teach him how to massage properly. I asked him how long he has been doing massage for and he said only 3 months. As a massage therapist myself, I completely understand that everyone had to start out new at some point. My frustration is not with the therapist but more so with the owner of this spa who did not train him properly. I highly recommend staying away unless you enjoy the risk of getting injured. Also the facility itself smelled musky , the bed was awfully uncomfortable.

Initially, I was unsure about the spa since it was advertised as a men's spa, which made me wonder if it was only for gay men. However, after visiting the spa, I realized this was not the case.
Inside, the spa was well-organized, clean, and had a friendly atmosphere with pleasant Balinese-style decorations.
While Teman Spa is designed as a safe space for gay people who want a massage, its main focus is on providing professional and skillful massages to all males (and occasionally females) at very affordable prices.
I was greeted by a massage therapist there named Putu, whom I had read about favorably in a previous review. I therefore took the opportunity to have a massage with him right away. The massage was done skillfully and professionally, and I was impressed.

Starting with the booking, after using the website booking system and getting no reply, I contacted them via whatsapp, and they booked me in.
The spa itself is a little tired, and the room I was sent to was showing wear and tear and not particularly inviting. So dont go expecting a high-end environment. But it was nice to have the availability of a shower.

Although we waited a good while for our food, it was as ordered, fresh & tasty. We were greeted out the front of this restaurant by a super friendly girl. Inside the restaurant there was smoking and non smoking areas. The ambience was gentle and inviting. A band played some very enjoyable songs not too loud so we could easily talk but loud enough to be able to hear and enjoy. The restaurant itself was very clean and inviting. The food was amazing. I had the pork belly and it was the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the 500g steak and he said it was even better than anything he’s ever had before. If I could give 10 🌟 I would. We LOVED this place. All I wanted to do was see a drag show in Bali and the atmosphere here was unreal! The show that was on before and after the drag show was brilliant, the performers sung their hearts out and my kids absolutely loved watching them sing and dance. The performers were super respectful of kids in the audience and nothing was too over the top as far as context or dancing.
They got everyone up singing and dancing and my shy daughter who won't even ask the shop people where something is got up on stage with one of the dancers and sung and dance, that's how beautiful and kind they were.
The food was great too and they have awesome happy hour deals too. We wish we'd gone earlier in the holiday so we could have gone back before we left. We spent 5hrs here having the time of our lives.
I 100% recommend this place. It truly felt like a family by the time we left.

Had a great time here thanks to the staff, drag queens and dancers. The drinks were not great. I ordered 3 cocktails and all were not enjoyable. But I was here for the queens and performers.
The drag queens are very sweet and will “play” with the men in the audience, they know who welcome the play and they are careful with who are not. They dance with the women who are usually very welcoming. I did see one of the queens manage her crowd exceptionally well. There was a man who did not want to interact, looked absolutely pissed when she came over. But she was able to tease him lightly, got the table laughing and even he cracked a smile when she left. A true queen.
All the queens were fantastic, very lovely to everyone.
The dancers that perform when the queens are resting and during karaoke are incredible! One was an amazing singer and their love for performing was clear. They performed not just for their routine but even for their own fun. Towards the end of the night when they were so sweaty and had performed so intensely I’m sure they were exhausted, they were still so energetic and passionate in their performance not only their individual performances but even just to support guests during karaoke. I love the tone of voice when the queens and performers speak - very warm and welcoming. I’m sure these can be part of the strategy to keep the energy high at all times, but even so, their performance, service and interaction with the guests was so flawless, that can not be just from instruction but most definitely from their own personal professionalism and character.
The wait staff were also friendly and warm.
Other than the drinks, we had a great time here and love the service staff and queens and performers.

This place is absolutely excellent! I went 3 nights of my 7 night trip and wish I could have gone more!! Such good vibes, dancing and drag queens as well as amazing audience engagement. You really feel like you get a personalised experience. On my last night I had the pleasure of talking to the dancers, Michael and Noval and they were so kind and friendly. Felt so safe and included as part of the 🏳️🌈 community, I was worried about going out by myself but they made it such a positive experience!! Review of Boshe VVIP Club Bali – Disappointing Experience
I would like to share a very disappointing experience from my visit to Boshe VVIP Club Bali on Saturday night, January 18, 2025. We had made a table reservation (Table 19) for 6 people to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We also ordered a birthday cake via Gojek from Harvest and requested it to be delivered to Boshe Club at 9 PM, with the name matching the reservation.
However, we arrived at around 11:30 PM. As soon as we arrived, we asked about the birthday cake that had already been sent to the venue. The server and staff there claimed they had no knowledge of the cake and even stated that it had already been delivered to Table 19 before we arrived. What was more disappointing was that Table 19 was already occupied by other people, who were not part of our group and didn’t have the reservation under our name.
This clearly shows a major failure on the part of Boshe Club's management. There was no clear communication, initiative, or sense of responsibility from their staff. We lost our birthday cake due to their negligence, and there was no explanation or solution offered. Instead, they gave us another cake and asked us to pay for it. Although we did not take the cake with us and it remained intact, this whole experience was incredibly frustrating.
I hope this serves as a lesson for Boshe Club to pay more attention to details and improve their service. For anyone planning to celebrate something at this place, I would advise you to think twice. If they can't take responsibility for something as small as this, I fear other experiences could be just as disappointing. We will never return to Boshe VVIP Club, and we certainly won’t be recommending it to anyone.

Unbelievable value at Rp200,000 (£10) for an 'All you can eat and drink' deal for 3 hours.
The deal is offered from 6-11pm daily. I arrived 8.30pm and 2.5 hours was more than enough. I was completely full and had drank enough for the night, too.
You can order 3 small plates at a time. All are a bit smaller than a normal starter, but I preferred that, as it allowed me to try more plates. I actually tried 9 of the mini-plates and one desert.
Whilst the food wasn't the best quality, I had to give it 5 stars due to the incredible value for money.
The setting is on the top floor of a multi-purpose leisure building, which I presume has been a nightclub previously. I say that as there was a huge media wall behind a dj that has a light system in sync with the music throughout my pleasurable 2.5hrs there.

Where to start? There is live music every night. If you’re into classic pop and rock, then this is the place for you. The house band, Harimo, led by Francis, are amazing. Francis sings, then it’s the classic lead and rhythm guitar combo with drummer and bass. They play Friday to Sunday, with other bands doing Monday to Thursday and who are just as talented. They finish their sets around 11:30pm, then some of Harimo plus others do a more intimate two hour session sitting on the edge of the stage. Requests are always welcome.
The serving staff, Grace, Tania and all the others are always on hand to renew your drink and they are all made us feel like friends rather than customers.
Every Wednesday and Sunday there is a Babi Guling (suckling pig) all you can eat, including salads, bread, rice and sambal. It’s well worth it! The Babi Guling is cleaned, prepared and roasted by Andy all day, so on your way past say hello to him!
We love these guys and can’t wait to go back there next year.

Seriously one of the best bars I've been to in Indonesia! So much fun and the night we were there we had a band who was doing exclusive requests of songs - they know a fair few!
Very glad to find this place and much better than in the local area. We were here earlier so got a lot of requests in ourselves before it got busy! Drinks aren't too bad either - I highly recommend.
The band are very open to swapping out for people who know the songs too which is pretty cool!

The club has potential, but they charge a cover even when the place is somewhat empty in the lounge upstairs. The atmosphere loses out because of this. DJs here are hit or miss. One that was playing when we arrived was great, mixing songs and showing his skill. The second DJ basically faded a couple songs together and drank for the 3 minutes in between. Like all clubs in Bali, it's gross with smokers. It's an annoyance for me because it's only a few hours, but it's disgusting that they allow it at all. Visited the M Spa during my visit to Seminyak. The location was beautiful, and the therapists did a great job. My session began with a foot soak and massage, then continued to a long massage and body scrub. The atmosphere was very relaxing, therapists were well trained. I enjoyed the service and atmosphere very much and will for sure return in the future. The only negative thing would be the shower. After the scrub, it was very hard to get clean in the open bathtub without making a mess!
