I went to this club with someone I meet on the beach. When it comes to service the women waiter was very rude I ordered a double of Jack Danials with a coke on the side. The waiter came back with one glass full of coke I could not tell what she put with it that is why I asked for it separate. She did not fix my order she just looked at me and waived me off. I traveled from America and I was definitely not looking for trouble. Even though I was getting bad service I continued having a good time. I went to the bathroom and I was fussed out by the bathroom attendant who complained about me putting tissue in the toilet. She wanted me to put the tissue in the trash can. I left the bathroom to find the person I was there with the dance floor is small and tables that individual I think reserved are filled quickly. I was standing t a table and all of a sudden I began to get pushed by two Thai women at the same table. They felt I was to close to their table. They began actively getting aggressive with me. I felt alone I was afraid I did defend myself by pushing the girls back I was not the aggressor but security came over and grabbed my arms. I twisted my wrist free from the security guard and told him to do not touch me. I walked out so embarrassed and confused because I had no idea what happened or that I had offended anyone. I would never go to this place again in my life and I would warn women who are not Thai and are black to be careful. I could care less bout any reply to my review I just ask that the owners understand that some of the women who are sex workers do not mix with tourist who are looking for good safe fun. They feel we are competition and they are not afraid to be aggressive with us because we are out numbered and no matter the circumstances you are not Thai and they will side with Thai individuals even if they are in the wrong. I really hate this place because of my experience. Most of the people are kind in Patong but not all……

I go to walk into the place and there's green streamers hanging from the ceiling. I felt like I was walking into Ariel's underwater adventure or something. The clubs renovated it use to look like a big padded room in psychiatric ward. Now everything is black. New ownership I'm assuming. Quite cliche to the name they must of not got the jist of the sales pitch; bar tender goes to hand me a drink. All the soda is warm, what am I suppose to do, chill it on the potential in this place? Great vibe! The outdoor terrace was full and pumping with people having a great time. Staff were barely copping given so many walk ins at once but overall doing a great job. I had the chicken burger which was acceptable however I would like to taste more flavours. Service was fast and friendly considering they were extremely busy! The view is stunning – especially at sunset if the sky is clear. The staff were friendly, service was quick and attentive. Wow what a gem we found in this beach club. Nice and relaxed vibes. Very, very clean considering it’s on the beach. Food and service was impeccable. What impressed us most was the staff once the tide was out went onto the beach to pick up litter. They genuinely care about the environment. Will be telling anyone who wants to visit a beach club in Phuket to head to Carpe Diem.
We booked a day bed on the Thursday night for the Friday and it was accepted within one hour of reserving. We arrived around 12:20 and got to choose if we wanted a bed by the pool or beach, there was only one other bed occupied when we first arrived. I had an amazing day at the Carpe Diem beach club!! Sun beds are so nice, food is amazing (I had the calamari and pumpkin salad) as well as a really good tiramisu espresso martini!!. You can’t beat the vibes, music is awesome, it’s so chilled and the view is stunning. Sunset is amazing as well. Sally took good care of me and made sure I was doing just fine all day long. Had the chance to dine at Estrela, the rooftop restaurant and bar on the top floor of Novotel Phuket City Phokeethra. The atmosphere was amazing — laid-back and stylish. It’s a great spot for a relaxed evening drink or a cozy dinner with a view.
The service here was excellent from every staff member, but a special shout-out to Jojo, who was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive to every detail, gave great recommendations for food and drinks, and checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect. Super impressed!
The food was pretty good. I ordered the Tuna Salad with Ponzu Sauce, which was kind of like a tuna tartare served with salad and ponzu dressing. The sauce was a bit too salty for my taste, and since I’m not a fan of raw fish, Jojo even told the chef to prepare it medium for me — so thoughtful!
For dessert, I had the Entremet & Mango Mousse — soft chocolate mousse that wasn’t overly sweet, served with mango mousse, strawberry sauce, and crumble. The flavors blended perfectly. I actually packed it to go because I was afraid I couldn’t finish it all — but it was really delicious.
For drinks, I ordered a Cosmopolitan and the Thai Chai Yo — both were really good! I especially loved the Thai Chai Yo, which is a signature cocktail created by the bar. My four girlfriends and I from Aus 🇦🇺 went to Yona Beach Club for a midweek afternoon session while we were in Phuket and it honestly ended up being one of the best days of our whole trip. The place is stunning. The vibe is fun, relaxed, and not too chaotic, which we loved.
Special mention to LAURA (Bar manager); she was soooo sweet and really made us feel looked after. Although it was raining for 1-2 hours during the afternoon, we spent the time lounging, swimming, dancing (lots), and just having the best time. The music was very vibey & got a chance to dance in the DJ booth too!
If you’re in Phuket with friends, you absolutely have to go. We’re already talking about coming back on our next trip. Highly recommend! 💖

Great music and DJ for EDM lovers, really loud speakers and good atmosphere later in the night, and small dance floor by the deck. Skillful staff and a great show of flaming shots too. The drinks - definitely order their signature Phuket cocktails or recommended ones, the classic cocktails such as a mojito were below-par. Situated on the 19th floor of the Andaman Beach Suites, it is like stepping back in time. There are 2 sections, the inside is where live music is played and the night we went they were very good. The outdoor part has the best views over Patong. We ordered one of each of the appetisers with the highlights being the Koong Sarong (prawns) and the shrimp cake. The cocktails were very good, so have some fun and try something different. Prices are mid-high but considering the view it is well worth it. The staff were lovely and attentive.

A decent place for food but the accommodation isn't up to scratch.
1: We had to argue for an actual blanket on the bed.
Only a single thin sheet & a tiny, thin, cheap pillow.
They're obviously trying to force you NOT to use the air-conditioning, by NOT providing a blanket.
2: Another argument with the non-thai speaking, room maid, for actual clean towels.
Apparently, if they're not wet enough, they won't change them.
On both occasions she had to get permission from her manager!
3: No hot water in the evenings - had to boil some water in the kettle inorder to have a shave.
4: The TV is locked to a volume that is so low that it was practically useless.
5: They won't allow a bit earlier check-in.
Instead they make you wait, so you'll probably spend money in their bar, rather than using electricity in your room.
It looks like this, nowhere to be seen, management, have become very complacent & aren't bothered about the place, after over 20 years of ownership?
The dining area is very dark & dingy - i personally got more mosquito bites there, than the rest of our eight-night holiday, combined.
In summary - avoid this place for accommodation - it's too peny-pinching, but the staff in the restaurant are quite good & the food isn't bad, if a bit overpriced compared to similar places.
