Wonderful: The location cannot be beat. The personnel working in the front desk in concierge were so friendly and helpful. Asil help me check in and check out and was incredibly informative. The paint on the inside in the outside of the doors is peeling. The paint on the exterior is also very grimy. The bathrooms are in surprisingly good condition which I think is mainly due to the materials used. Because the hotel has hardwood floors, you can hear everyone above you clomping around. Also, the walls between rooms is quite thin plus if people leave their balcony doors open. This is particularly frustrating when the individuals in the suite next you are having an argument and it’s loud enough for you to hear, but unfortunately the walls aren’t thin enough for you to actually make out the words of what they’re saying so unfortunately, you can never decide who side of the argument here we are on. Which frankly is just frustrating. Apparently the hotel will be going through a refresh soon and once that is completed, I cannot wait to come back. Nearly every single person I came in contact with at this hotel was incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful. I only encountered one person who was not friendly/rude which was one of the employees at breakfast. He had the same sort of brisk personality every single day of my day so I think that may just be how he is. On the day of check out, the weather was absolutely terrible but Asil took my luggage and myself to my car with umbrellas. Frankly that is amazing service. Overall, this hotel is an absolute gem. My only regret is not staying longer.

The staff were hugely helpful and welcoming from the moment of our arrival, and could not do enough for us. The hotel is wonderfully situated near the lake shore, and a 1 minute walk from good bars and restaurants, adventure hire shops, and the tourist office. The Restaurant was lovely - I looked forward to breakfast every day, with a great variety of beautiful food. We went out every day exploring the lake and the mountains, swimming in the lake, walking through the nearby gorge, hiring mountain bikes and getting up over the hills, and walking up to the Castle on the hill. Every evening we returned to the hotel and used the health spa. My wife really enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi. I enjoyed the gym. We both loved the pool. We went out every night and tried different restaurants for dinner. We packed in a fair amount to our 3 night stay, and I think we could have spent another ten days here without running out of new things to see and do. The hotel was super clean and tidy. I’m not a student of architecture but I found the design and layout of the hotel really aesthetically appealing, with clean bright lines. I can imagine it is a wedding photographers dream. However the lake side rooms are covered in vines and trees are blocking the video of the beautiful lake. If possible try to request a room on the top floor. The lake side rooms can also be noisy. The staff was extremely friendly for the entire stay and went out of their way to assist us. The breakfast was awesome everyday and we got to enjoy live music at breakfast on the weekend. The weekend of our wedding she truly took away so much anxiety because her and her staff were so organized, professional, and covered gaps that we hadn't thought about (like the bar menus). She was great with my parents, making them feel taking care of and special as well. Truly can't thank her enough for an excellent weekend. We did have a couple problems afterwards with invoicing that was a bit bumpy, but ultimately it was sorted out.

They recommended us a lot of destinations that are worth visiting and provided us with a lot of information about Bled and its surroundings. On top of this the place has perfect spot if you want quiet sleep and also to be near center. There is literally 5 minutes of walk to center of Bled. Appartments are obviously new, everything was clean and all the towels and sheets were fresh. They also have electric blinds, so you can wake up slowly with sunrise while you are still lying in the bed. The big plus was also sauna and separate place to relax. Cherry on top of the cream was definitely breakfast with fresh products from local farmers. We had really great experience with staying and can't wait to visit them again when opportunity shows.
