We went after the lunch rush so we didn’t really have to wait, and our food came out in less than 10 minutes. The free initial chips and salsa were great, and the guacamole was so tasty. I got the huevos compuestas plate with both the red and green chile, and this is the only place that I could say that the red is better than the green. I usually prefer green, but the red had just the perfect amount of heat and flavor. The eggs were also cooked to a perfect over medium. My partner got the chorizo con huevo with flour tortilla. The tortillas came out fresh and hot, it tied the meal up perfectly. We also got the French toast… and it was easily the best French toast either of us have ever had. Our waitress was amazing and so attentive. She made our experience great. We will be back in the future, especially for the red chile and the French toast. The grape fields were modestly sized and had great smell. The parking lot is big, and if there is not enough space, there is a seperate parking lot nearby that is also avaliable. There was a large selection of wine offerings. We chose to be in the covered patio, which even though the AC was down, the fans still made it cool. It was quiet, spacious, and had a good view of the outside. The schnitzel was great, there were 2 generous schnitzel patties with great crunch and texture. The gravy lacked flavor, but the mushrooms were seasoned well. The broccolini on the side was tender and fresh, and the mashed potatoes were buttery. The bread was soft with a nice crisp, the compound butter was a nice touch as well. We also ordered the flat iron steak, which was incredible. It was cooked a bit over medium rare, but still fine. The crust was amazing, it had great flavor, it was tender, running with juices, and it was a very generous portion. The meatloaf was good as well, it was juicy, had a unique but amazing texture, and many great flavors blending together. Overall, I highly recommend this place as a great winery and small restaurant in Las Cruces.

I had the Italian sandwich and it was tasty however the ratio of the ingredients were laughable. The lettuce was huge whilst the tomatoes and mozzarella was tiny. I opted for the fajita burrito smothered with green and cheese. The green sauce was different from typical New Mexican fare, it was more like a gravy, very hardy. The chips and salsa were very good. Very tasty food freshly made. The owner is delightful and super helpful and friendly. I especially love that they have many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, which is pretty unusual for a Mexican restaurant in Las Cruces, this places is very accommodating. Not only was my sandwich still cold.. I could count the amount of meat and cheese on one hand.. This is and never will be exceptable.. It has something for everybody. Everything about it is perfect. I just wish in the winter It started a little later and went on till about 3pm, but in summer, you don’t want to be there much past 1pm as it starts to get very hot. Luckily, it opens early around 8am Saturdays are great as they close off the whole downtown Main Street so it’s very pedestrian friendly. While you’re in downtown Las Cruces, there’s some great cafés and a really nice art museum and cultural center so plan to be there a while if you’re visiting from out of town. When it gets hot visit some of the indoor places and Coas bookstore. There are musicians who rotate positions throughout the market help them out give them some cash, they are working hard. Also great food trucks. I love everything about this market. Dogs are allowed but their paws will get hot and they will need water and shade. So please take care of your K9 friends. There are lots of unique and handmade items which as far as I know is a requirement to be a participant in this market no mass produced stuff is allowed, though some of it may sneak in. But 99% of what you see here is handmade by the crafters and home grown food from small local farms.

Started at Organ Mountain Outfitters, that is a great store whose profits are partially shared feeding children and more. I very much enjoyed the local musicians sharing their talents. There was a guitarist playing a sort of bluesy tune and a young man singing a beautiful Mexican melody in full dress. Found a lot of great artisans sharing jewelry, clothing, paintings, the best and most affordable wax melts from Smelly Sam's (I think that's their name). Their quiche never fails to impress, the daily specials are always delicious, the soups are mouthwatering (the French onion puts all other restaurants to shame), the breakfasts are remarkable (whether you are craving savory or sweet), you can't go wrong with any of the lunch dishes (chicken caprese or salmon sandwich are my favorite lunches), the espressos and mimosas are perfect, and the pastries are simply to die for. I dug in before I remembered to take a picture! The pastry chef is from France, so you can get the authenticity of French delicacies without the plane ticket. We have had the pleasure of getting to know the owners over the last few years, and they are the kindest, most hardworking people you'll ever meet. They have perfected the marriage between French roots with Louisiana flare, and brought it right to our backyard in Southern New Mexico. If you haven't eaten here yet, you are depriving yourself! They sold us frozen green tamales 😭 They warmed them up as we waited for the fresh tamales to get there.🤯 We waited a whole day just to get the same frozen tamales Walmart sales. Make sure if you're dinning in to confirm they have what you are trying to eat, or you will be waisting your time waiting just to get a refund. And if you order for another day just know they'll pull a fast one on you and sell you half warmed up frozen tamales 🤢. So make sure you check your tamales. We will not be returning here, They have no communication within they're team . The girl that took care of our order kept filling up orders as well as the drive through lady, without confirming they even had tamales. We waited 30 minutes just for a bean and cheese burrito. If your hungry at the moment I do not recommend going here as the waiting times are bad and they probably end up serving you warmed up frozen tamales. If we wanted warmed up frozen green Chile tamales we would of asked for them since the first day, or even have had gotten them from Walmart for only 97 more cents. It may not be a big deal to many others but twice our family meal got ruined by the unprofessionalism of the team at Roberto's. We miss the old times where things like these would only happen as a last resort and with the customer approval. We couldn't eat together for the second time since we had to warm up the tamales correctly, While the fresh ones cooled down .💔
