I ordered the Pad Cha, my wife ordered the Basil Saute and the children had Green Curry with chicken. From the first bite to the last, I was thoroughly impressed and savoring every bite. The Pad Cha was very spicy just as I like and I honestly could've had another plate but the portion size was perfect. My wife loved her Basil Saute with chicken and the kids ate all of their dinner without a complaint. When we finished eating we all looked at each other and laughed because we realized that looks on the outside can be deceiving and we are very happy that we took a chance on Sila Thai. After speaking with the waiter, he told me that they do a lot of to go orders, so that was one of the reasons that the restaurant isn't packed. So Yelp family, Sila Thai is definitely worth taking a chance on if you're looking for great Thai cuisine and we will be making frequent visits here. The food and atmosphere were great, prices were fair. The staff was accommodating. Ambiance is excellent although one section of seating misses out on that by the entrance- so if you are making reservations for a special event I'd suggest requesting the main dining area away from the entrance. We were a large group and they handled it wonderfully. Typically for a large group they will send a helper out, but our waiter was solo and did very well considering. My wife got the special for this Saturday night which was Penne Ala Vodka with shrimp. I got the Grouper Marsala and both came with a house salad. Was disappointed in her Penne dish. The reason is it barely had shrimp with the up charge of $5.00 and they were small shrimp. My dish was really good as I’ve had it before. The house salads were fresh so that was nice. If your looking for a nice restaurant with great ambiance then don’t go there. It’s a very bland/old place and doesn’t seem to have ever been remodeled. It’s an old Italian place for sure but the food is really good. Now with an old style Italian restaurant one would think they would have great bread to eat with the meal….WRONG!! The bread sticks are horrible. You can get French bread knots for an extra .50 cents a piece if that’s your thing. With the other Italian places around with better reviews we will try other places going forward for the money we spent.

We asked our server who is a sweetheart to get her another sandwich. She took the sandwich and stated that a new one was on the way. The next thing we know, the manager brings the same sandwich back and says, "there was nothing wrong with your sandwich, it just needed cooked some more." We told our waitress what happened and she said she was so sorry but that's all she could do. She couldn't get another or take it off the bill because she would be fired. I worked in the restaurant business for 10 years through high school and college, I know first hand that is unacceptable and very bad customer service on management's part. Not at all the way to run a business. As I read through other reviews, I realize there are many more that have had similar experiences. Needless to say, they lost loyal customers today. Hope it was worth it for them not to have to make another sandwich.

Maybe i ordered a weak menu item, (3 pancakes with sausage) but it was difficult to stomach more than 3 bites as my first meal of the day. The water had such an intense piping taste to it i didnt even want to use it to wash down the food. The place was small with a simple decor...but seemingly clean, with great A/C. Also, as their name implied ("Bistro"), the place is Americanized, with American pop overhead music. Frankly, it's the best Chinese food I've had in Rock Hill...on par with the Chinese foods in Charlotte (and beyond). Given the comfy dining ambiance, it's probably the nicest too. Service was super-friendly and attentive as well...and the foods came out fresh, piping hot in a timely manner. Given what I've experienced today, I can't believe the ratings here are so low. Again, this has to be the best Chinese restaurant in Rock Hill. Everything else in town is Chinese fast food...some of which are priced higher than what's delivered here. For instance, I noticed that their lunch specials are below 9 bucks!! There's no way other Chinese restaurants (Chinese fast foods!) in Rock Hill should have higher ratings than here! We ordered the full duck with pancakes and side veggies. We also ordered Beef and Scallops and Moo Shu Pouch with Tofu. These were all spiced appropriately. We also got the buffalo chicken dip and WOW that was amazing. They give you plenty of food for a very good price and it’s not just usual bar food, it’s the best food with lots to choose from. It’s such a fun bar in the center of downtown Rock Hill so you’ll have plenty of things to do before and after going to Tattooed Brews. During the day the bar is nice and quiet making it a perfect stop for lunch with a friend or just a midday drink. The nightlife reminds me of being back in the city so I absolutely love that. All in all this bar is going on my top favorites list for sure! You have to stop in for a drink and food next time you’re in the town. The mild lemon pepper catfish or the hot honey catfish is hands the best catfish I have ever eaten. The chicken and waffles is like that the waffle is cooked to perfection. The gizzards are busting they sell out all the time so that's say enough right there. And the chicken leg quarter is fried like it came straight from heaven. This place will always be on my list of favorites I drive 45 mins from Charlotte just eat here.
